"Excellent hotel"
Very clean, comfortable and convenient place to stay in Bend. Good service, nicely appointed, easy parking . We had an accessible room, and it was one of the. best appointed ones we've stayed in.Only issue we had was that they end breakfast service at 9:00a.m.
"infusion"
I have used this facility on several occasions, always the same great. Above average in all fields. They survived the covid era well, the attached pub (inside entrance, good food and nice libations. Good location, GPS will show at least 3 ways to get here, each with 2-3 round a bouts

"Great location on the west side of Bend"
Away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Bend. Easy access to the mountains and to the downtown area. Clean rooms with plenty of amenities. Good breakfast and variety. If you are looking for a nice quiet place to stay, this is it. 5 day stay was great.
"Comfortable but nothing to eat"
I spent a week here for business and I had an overall pleasant experience. The hotel is clean and quiet and check in was smooth. I had a mini fridge and a big bathroom. The nights were cold so I had to put the heater on. It was extremely noisy but it worked. My main complaint is that they claim to offer breakfast so I relied on that and did not prepare to have to leave for work without food. The offer is nothing more than coffee and stale bread paired with cold scrambled eggs or jam. I cannot eat eggs so on day one my breakfast was just old bread and butter with black coffee. I tried on the second day and there was nothing to eat. Just coffee or water. I was very disappointed considering there are not a lot of options around to eat either.
Bend Hotel, General Manager at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
I am terribly sorry to hear you had such a terrible experience with our breakfast. I'll be sure to look into it and make sure no one was serving stale bread as we have not served bread in a month an half and switched to freshly made bagels and scones that are delivered by a local company every morning. We also have cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, bacon, sausage and potatoes.
"Must fix one thing"
My stay at the Peppertree was almost what I wanted. We decided to stay in Bend for a family vacation, lovely town. I wish the hotel was a little closer to the Deschutes River. It's not far away by any means but a view of the river is an amazing site. The staff is pleasant and professional. The decor is modern and sleek. Yet my only complaint that prevents me from outright recommending this hotel to everyone is the bathroom design. To be specific we stayed in the fireplace suite. They use sliding barn doors for the bathrooms. These doors do not seal against the wall, which, in turn leaves about 5/8 of an inch crack. This gap prevents the person in the bathroom from having privacy. I do not know anyone that likes to be essentially walked in on while using the bathroom. You can literally see into the bathroom while someone is on the toilet. YUCK… how they forgot about this design flaw is unimaginable. Another issue about the bathroom is the lack of a shower door. This creates a drafty shower in the morning - I felt cold air hitting me whole time. While the decor of the hotel is sleek and modern, some decisions about design need to be made with utility and privacy in mind before aesthetics. I would need them to install French doors before coming back. Otherwise, the rest of the hotel looks and feels great. The breakfast room is great, a pancake machine, hot eggs, potato and sausage were fresh. The beverage options were plentiful from juices to a coffee & cappuccino machine. Just ask if your room has sliding barn doors on the bathroom before booking, because it was the only thing that would prevent me from coming back.
"EV drivers beware"
The hotel itself was good for its price tier. The single Blink/Semaconnect charger in the parking lot was atrocious. It charged my Tesla at snail's pace (6.2kw) and in addition to the electricity they charge $2/hr while you're charging! Ridiculous, tone-deaf price gouge considering that other hotels in town offer EV charging for free, and one even has a Supercharger farm. Also, the touch payment system on the charger is broken and the only way to charge is to call Blink and wait 20 minutes on hold for them to start your charging session.
"Not a Typical Best Western Stay!! Substandard"
Black Mold in the Bathroom! Homeless community in the Back so Ice Machines were locked. Breakfast Area was a total Mess! Toaster was broken. Very Noisy. The pool and area were very Clean and nice. At 225$ per night and a week Stay…We will choose elsewhere in beautiful Bend Oregon
Bend Hotel, General Manager at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
Terribly sorry to hear you had a negative experience. Our Ice Machines are not locked though nor is there a community living in the back our property. I hope you will reconsider staying with the Hotel Peppertree and see what we really offer.
"Money grabbing"
Arrived at Tonbridge North premier inn on Sunday at 2pm. We were told although our room was available but could not have until 3pm unless we payed 10 pound. Which is now their policy. Also told breakfast would be busy at 10am so went at 9.30 when we left the restaurant at 10.30 there was no other customers. No impressed.
"Clean and updated"
Nice, clean hotel with updated room decor and facilties. Indoor pool, spa and gym were all great additions. Breakfast was good and fresh every day. I would recommend this hotel to familiy and friends. Traveled with teen boys and they were happy too.
"Family weekend in Bend"
Excellent spacious clean rooms, friendly staff, close to downtown and restaurants, nice pool and spa. Cool barn doors to closet and bathroom, spacious luxury shower, pleasant lobby, decent breakfast provided. Would definitely stay here again!

Nice, quite place to stay in a good part of town with lot's to do around the area. I was in town for work, I had a great time in the area and was able to get my work done in the hotel with a nice desk in my room.

"Great Place To Stay"
This hotel is a great place to stay. It is close to many restaurants and has a great pub with many food options My rooms have always been clean, wifi has always worked and it has been quiet at night. The staff have been friendly and helpful.

"Helpful Staff"
Shareen and Kalesi were so helpful and kind they deserve a bonus. They helped us when we had no room. they went above and beyond normal duties. I thought I had booked a room but on arrival I had clearly not. Shareen and Kalesi helped us to source a room in Gloucester by phoning and giving us information. It all worked out in the end thanks to them both. thank you

"Fine, but quite expensive compared to other properties"
This hotel provides almost everything. My room shower curtain lacked a liner, and if you're under 5'6", it'd be difficult or impossible to adjust the shower head. The fitted sheet was very wrinkled, but that might have been from hasty room prep. They offer room cleaning every five days which could be a COVID remnant, or the current lack of staffing everywhere. I would stay here again, unless I find something similar at a lower price. Staff are pleasant and professional.

"subpar"
My husband and I stayed at this BW Premier last Spring and it was wonderful. This time however it was dismal. We were "upgraded" to a room on the top floor, as per request, and agreed to go from a king to a 2 queen room in order to be on the top floor. However, we were NOT told that, having originally booked a quiet (more expensive) mountain view room we would now be on the busy and noisy street side. After asking to go back to our originally booked king, mountain view room we were told there were now no rooms available, but were credited some funds. The room was very noisy and opening the window instead of using the loud AC definitely wasn't an option! The breakfast this time was also dismal... limited watery eggs, no sausages left, only a few pieces of white bread instead of muffins, minimal dry cereal choices, no hot chocolate, 1 very green banana! Seriously.. a BW Premier?? I doubt we will be staying here again.

"Fraudulent use of Credit Card"
We only used a specific Credit Card for our stay at THIS hotel. That was the ONLY time we used this credit card. We spent one night at this hotel on September 30, 2022 and when arrived home we found our Credit Card had been charged with with over $ 1,300.00 for some Racing Auto Parts company. Someone at the hotel must have lifted our card number and made these fraudulent charges. We are now in the process of disputing the charge. WE WILL NEVER STAY AT THIS HOTEL AGAIN ... EVER

"Stinks"
Heater was loud, pillows were trash, tv only offered direct TV, the bathroom door almost severed my finger, and the whole 3rd floor smelled like rotten feet. The price quoted was different than price charged. Been to a lot of best Westerns will not be back to this one.

"How Can We Ripp You Off ?"
My wife and I work for the state and we travel all over Southern Oregon and outlying areas . We prefer to stay at Best Western . Not this place . We were given a business rate . We reserved a room for two nights . We were not able to make it for the first night but we called well ahead of time and told them to assign our room and charge us for the night . They never assigned us a room but they took the money like they had and when we arrived and this new management company general manger not only sent us to a room that was filthy but raised our rate charged us for the night that no room was assigned that we had asked for so we could check in right away . She then changed the room and the room we were given had two maintenance men in it cleaning the A/C that had filters left loaded with garbage that I cleaned myself . I left a review that was in house and she told me only she would see the review I posted . Google changed all that. With pictures of the filters . I also told her take my money this will be the last time you ever will get it . So they ripped me off by not giving me an assigned room raised my rate claiming the weekend was the reason when we had a business rate . The reasons and excuses changed to suit the theft . All good . We wont be back and asked for a wake up call that never came . Want a newish place to stay where taking your money and all other things like you wake up calls the quality of your stay your rate and resolving issues is of no concern well this polished flop house will do for ya .

"No amenities"
They post a sign: "For your comfort...we will only provide housekeeping every 5 (sic) days." There were no bath towels, remotes with dead batteries and forget coffee. There is another Best Western in Northern Bend that is really great. Go there instead.

"They will ask you what you want then ignore it"
This is a nice place in a great town but they ignored the requests they asked for submitted before check in. The restaurant was completely empty when we walked in at 6:00pm. However the vile odour that filled the place quickly explained the empty restaurant and drove us out.

"Our Bend Go To"
After living in Bend for 35+ years and recently moving out of the area, we really had no idea where to stay when visiting. We went with Peppertree Inn knowing it was new, in a great location and reasonably priced. For the sports enthusiast, Peppertree is perfect with inside room for bike storage, close proximity to Deschutes River, and easy access to Mt. Bachelor.

"Excellent luxurious hotel"
Stay here for a luxurious wonderful hotel experience. The room is super quiet - you don't hear other guests. The front desk attends to your every need in a professional, super friendly manner. The beds are very comfortable. An incredible experience.
"quiet, very clean & staff was very accommodating"
Our stay was very restful, comfortable beds. We spent five days at this motel. We will be back next year... The only minor issue is with the office area provided for public. Kids would sneak in to play with the computers. They uploaded all their favorite games and when we needed to use the computer to print boarding passes, the systems were down and required staff tech to clean them up. Use should be restricted to room key access. A mouse was also stolen from the desk.
Valerie Santillanes, Owner at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
Thank you so much for your comments. We will make sure to address the issues in the business center. We hope to see you back soon.
"For services received not worth the money"
Rooms were messy, staff was rude (I was told by the manager I "stole" air filters from the room we moved from to replace the filthy ones in the room we stayed in when I explained I traded them out) , and breakfast was subpar. - watered down orange juice, dried out hard sausage patties, watery oatmeal. Beds were comfy. Wouldn't stay again. Based on experience at the hotel, we wouldn't eat at the attached pub.
Valerie Santillanes, Owner at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review

"Plenty of improvement opportunities"
My spouse and I have vacationed and stayed in motels, resorts, condo rentals and 6-star rated hotels. This Premier hotel has many things to improve on... Little things like they don't provide insulation sleeves for the hot coffee cups, wifi is at 72Mbps that is slower than mobile data speed, no standby tissues for the room with less than 5 tissues remaining in the tissue box, toilet papers are super thin, and the hygiene is questionable. The tiles grout in the shower area leaves behind streaks of black water when we walked out after bath. Yucky! And then the worst happens... Both of us were bitten by bed bugs! We requested for a different room. There wasn't a single apology throughout. They declined when we offered to show them the bites mark as evidence. The point here is there are no empathy, and the staff is clearly untrained to make customer's experience a good one or at the very least make things right. We spoke with the manager and felt so wrongly accused when she made statement like "you could have been bitten anywhere". We stayed in room #424 where we were both bitten. We've never had such a bad hotel experience in over 30+ years of travel. We're skipping Best Western for our future vacations.

"Love the new Premier upscale styling."
Beautiful, comfortable, good neighborhood - a bit off the freeway, but in a nice area. Great service in the restaurant / bar area. Spacious bathroom. Couldn't connect to the internet, so used our cell phones as personal hot spots. Indoor pool - water was cold, but the room was steamy...very odd. Would definitely stay here again.

"Very disappointing for this price"
My room was large and very well furnished, the A/C could not be switched off, no matter what switch I pushed on the wall control. The Wi-Fi connection was very bad (incredibly slow even at 3 AM). The breakfast buffet was very small, with very limited choices: eggs, sausages, waffles, fruits, coffee, no fruit juices or pastries. The staff was friendly enough but not very helpful when we asked for some transportation advice. At this price I was expecting a better service.

"Adequate and overpriced"
Hotel was adequate, and priced like a luxury resort. Common areas had trash overflowing. Lounge had limited hours. Room had sawdust on the floor from the barn door style door for the bathroom. Stayed for two days, room was not cleaned/nor linens changed.

"Not sure how this hotel gets such good reviews"
We stayed here for 2 nights. Check-in was easy and the front desk person was very nice. The room was nice and large and the shower was wonderful! HOWEVER, the walls were so thin that we could hear people talking--we could actually hear what they were saying. We could also hear the dog barking in the next room--and the owners telling the dog to be quiet. So we had a hard time sleeping because of the noise from other rooms. When the toilet above us flushed, the sound of the water rushing down the wall was so loud that it actually woke us up! The breakfast was just ok. The staff (after the initial check-in person) was not welcoming and acted totally bored with their jobs. While in a hotel, I expect to be able to get a good night's sleep and this hotel did not provide that. I would not stay here again, nor would I recommend it to anyone else. We paid $245 per night which I don't consider inexpensive for a hotel room.

"Get away for memorial Saturday and Sunday. Booked the day of our stay."
Very clean, comfy beds and stay. Close to downtown Bend. Off century drive and convenient to everything we were interested in. Beds were comfortable and room was quite dispute busy holiday weekend. Pet friendly but we didn't hear dogs disrupting at all. Ac noise was enough to make our room cozy and noise proof from hearing other guests. Bathroom was big and accommodating too. Will definitely book again.

"Pet friendly! Comfortable beds and a great breakfast!"
This was the first time we stayed at this Best Western. We were on the 3rd floor. We stayed Friday-Sunday in a King room. We will definitely return! Great: -Pet friendly hotel!!! -The beds are very comfortable! Usually when I sleep on a hotel bed my back hurts the next morning. I didn't have that problem here. -Soft, comfortable sheets! -Helpful front desk employees. -Amazing breakfast (eggs, bacon or sausage, potatoes, yogurt, cereal, breads, pastries, fresh fruit etc.). -Newer hotel! Nice warm, bike, grey and cream color schemes in the rooms. -Very clean hotel & rooms -Bar and bar food down stairs -Close to the Old Mill District and great restaurants. About 10 minutes from a Walmart & Albertsons. -Very quiet hotel and area -When we booked our room the lady told us none of the rooms had a tub/shower combo. ? Which was very disappointing however, when we entered our room we had a tub/shower combo. Suggested Improvement: -They only have housekeeping available every 4-5 days for your room. Be prepared to ask for more towels, empty your own trash etc. -Towels could be softer. They feel really rough.

"Excellent!"
Beautifully updated rooms and baths. Very helpful desk staff. A complimentary bottle of water whenever I passed the desk is a wonderful perk which is something I will remember. I had to shorten my stay one day and the desk staff handled that in stride and adjusted everything perfectly. Will definitely rebook next time I'm in Bend.

"Enjoyable stay"
Staff was very friendly and helped us adjust our reservation when our vehicle broke down. They were consistently friendly throughout our visit. Breakfast was good. Only complaint was that the sitting area for breakfast was small. There were several teams (different sports) and many people wanted to eat at the same time. On a positive note, my husband said it was the best hotel coffee he ever had. Breakfast had impressive bagels, scrambled eggs, potatoes, sausages and homemade oatmeal and toppings plus the usual offerings. Room was nice, beds comfy. Close to Mt.Bachelor. Will stay here again.

Expedient service, friendly, courteous, and helpful. Dog friendly. Clean. Decent breakfast. Excellent location. Nice work-out room and pool with hot tub. A+ family hotel! Close to Bachelor in a great district!

"Nice property."
Fairly new property in Bend just outside of the Old Mill district. We were able to Uber down to downtown very quickly. Hotel seemed very popular with families. Average complimentary breakfast. Room was very clean. Comfortable beds.

"Great service"
We took a trip and decided last minute we needed a hotel. Called and was immediately helped by a wonderful woman named Mo. She was so kind! She even printed out the bus schedule, gave us cookies & water. She was the sweetest and nicest worker I have ever met at a hotel as well as upgrading us to a mountain view room for our vacation. 10/10 recommend just because of her :) They also have laundry, free breakfast and our room was incredibly clean. Go see Mo!

"Phenomenal service, modern decor and relaxing stay"
Mo & Theresa were phenomenal- upon check in with Mo, I knew we'd chosen the perfect place. Beautiful and modern decor in lobby & rooms. Quiet, pleasant atmosphere. Beds slightly on the soft side but still comfortable. Good options for breakfast.

"Clean, friendly and well organized…."
From check in, the staff greeted us with smiles and were extremely attentive and helpful during our stay. You won't pass an employee without them greeting you with a smile and friendly hello. The room was very clean and comfortable, the dining area, pool and workout rooms were also very clean, this is a nice place to stay and highly recommended for families. Will definitely book again.

"Great Hotel!"
We needed a quick stay in Bend, and this one did not disappoint! Pool and hottub, lounge/rec room for the kids, and an onsite pizza and tap room.. what could be better! the design of this hotel was great and the location was perfect for us. I can't think of anything bad to say! oh, and i'm a major bagel fan, so when i saw they had fresh locally baked bagels for breakfast, i knew it was a match made in heaven!

"A great place to stay!"
This was a terrific hotel. Very friendly and helpful staff. The on site pizza shop was the best! The room was very nice. The rates were reasonable. The complementary hot breakfast was very good. We will definitely plan to stay here again.

"Gorgeous hotel but...."
Beautiful new property. Nice pool &fitness. Customer service is virtually non existent. The worst breakfast ever. few options, and what they did have was gross. Room needed repairs but was never fixed

"Stay at the pepper tree!"
The hotel staff was amazing. The hotel itself is gorgeous, the shower makes you feel like you're at a spa! The most unfortunate thing was the hot tub wasn't really hot. And they could add a little more options for breakfast but overall the stay was amazing.

"Best hotel stay in a long time!"
We were in town for our daughter's 10th birthday and this hotel did not disappoint!! Beautiful decor & great location. The beds were very comfortable and the pool was perfect for the kids. Mo at the front desk treated us like family from the second we met. She knew all the best places for everything and even told us where to park. Lucky us, she was the bartender too! We will ALWAYS stay at this hotel because of her! Thanks Mo!!!

"Wish I loved it, but I don't."
At check in, I was pressured to join the Best Western point membership. Then, my name was misspelled and other information was input incorrectly, so I couldn't access it or have points for that visit applied. I was given a print out with an 800 number and told to “call later” to correct the mistakes—have tried a few times subsequently, and have not been successful. The room was clean, but cold. The bed linens were scratchy and uncomfortable. We really wanted to like this property, especially because it was new and our adult children live in the area, so we are frequent visitors. My hubby asked that we not come back—His reason was the stark room and uncomfortable bed.

"Great rate enticed us to stay"
We had an excellent value/rate. Beds were comfortable; ample lighting and outlets. Room was very clean. Breakfast included topped it off. Building seems to be well-insulated: the HVAC did not need to run. Room had a fireplace, too. Very quiet; no traffic noise, even tho close to a main street.

"Nice hotel , decent breakfast that was on time - Kind of out of the way!"
Nice hotel , everything worked fine , got a top floor room , Heater/AC had a fan on setting , thanks! Breakfast was decent and ready on or before time stated - Quiet except for the occasional BumbleBee car cruising by - The only thing I found a little weird about the hotel was we couldn't find anyplace to eat within a couple miles! Sort of out in the sticks , lots of medical care places around ..But food , not so much!

"Beautiful Bend"
Peppertree is always where we'd like to stay while driving through Bend. It's a good place for the dogs, with the River trail right across the street. The hotel is very clean and super quiet. The Pizza is good, but they could use more training for their employees.

"Excellence in Bend"
This was a totally new and recently developed area in Bend that we were seeing for the first time. It's set in a gorgeous setting next to the Oregon State University Bend campus and less than 5 minutes to the Old Mill District and Downtown. ZPizza on-site was fantastic!

"Great Staff"
A very nice modern clean hotel. Large and well amended bathroom. The best part of our stay however was the staff. Friendly, quick service the whole time we were there. We were there for a wedding, and were hoping we could get into a rooms a bit early so we could do some last minute primping before heading off to the wedding venue. They got us into our room and did so with fun and grace.

"Brand new property in Bend, OR"
We were on our way to Eastern Washington from California to drop our daughter off at college. Bend was our first overnight stop and the Peppertree Inn in Bend is a beautiful property. Brand new and clean the property was within walking distance to to a wonderful micro brew restaurant. After driving all day the walk to dinner in pristine weather was welcome. The staff and service was professional and friendly as always

"Comfortable Hotel"
The room was comfortable. It featured a spacious bathroom. Only downside was the light in the bathroom was controlled by a motion timer, and would go off leaving you in the dark. The room featured a refrigerator and microwave. A decent pizza parlor was attached to the hotel.

Thank you for the review. Mo is amazing and very passionate about recycling for Parkinson's. We will see you next time.
"OK STAY"
The hotel was clean and staff were pleasant, but some design choices favor beauty over practicality. The wall separating sleeping areas caused poor air circulation, one half of the room was nice and cool, the other was stuffy. The sliding barn door to the bathroom had no lock, and timers on the bathroom lights are not a good idea. I travel with kids and often leave it on in case people need to get up in the middle of the night since the room is unfamiliar. I also forgot to check the timer when getting in the shower one morning ( busy people had been in and out of bathroom all morning) and it turned off mid shower, leaving me in pitch black. I had to yell for my daughter to come turn them back on. I understand the desire to save electricity, but all other lights were not on timers. Also since they are not cleaning rooms every day due to covid, please put something besides those teeny hotel trash cans in the room. A larger trash can and recycle near the vending wouldn't hurt either. Though clean and spacious, I'd probably not return because of the AC/air circulation issue, we had to go buy a box fan to sleep comfortably in the room.

"The bagels were amazing"
Very clean hotel, close to everything. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Make sure you get up early for breakfast so you don't miss out on the fresh home style bagels. Pizza place and happy hour on site was a definite perk as well.

"Pricey but worth it"
We called last minute trying to find a hotel that accepted pets(and didn't have an outrageous pet fee)while moving from WA to CA. The woman who answered the phone was so nice and helpful. A ten dollar pet fee was so nice to hear! Getting to the hotel was easy, and check in was a breeze. The rooms were spacious, had a fridge and microwave. Beds and pillows were very comfortable. Temp was easily managed with the in room unit. Bathrooms were massive! Only complaint was they have sliding bathroom doors, that make it so you can hear… and see some things that maybe you don't want to depending who you are traveling with. They have laundry machines, gym, pool and fun things like good creamer for tea and coffee in the lobby. The covid breakfast was wonderful! So much to choose from! Hot breakfast sandwiches, fruits, oatmeal with tons of topping choices, granola bars, cereals and juices. Price a little was high(we were driving through and there was summer fest going on at the time), but it was a wonderful hotel to stay at!

"Disappointing"
The positives with this hotel is the view (though we did pay extra for the view), access to the beach, parking, and the bed was pretty comfortable. Unfortunately the rest was disappointing for over $400 a night (stayed 3 nights). The room has a bad odor, and smells of what might be pets being allowed? There are stains on the carpet, parts of which are ripping up. Stains on the walls, floor has clearly not been cleaned well. You can see parts of the tile grout as the color should be and the rest is black in the heavier walkway areas. The tub has a stained outline where a mat used to be. The sliding door doesn't stay open. Seems to not be leveled as it just slides closed. Also you don't get much of a balcony. There's about 12 inches to stand on. A HUGE disappointment was that the pool was closed for some reason. It wasn't filled. We were not informed of this while making reservations online, not even at check in. Only found out when my son and I walked to the pool. Breakfast is not included, which is fine, but you would think there'd be something for the price. First day I called to ask for towels as they weren't replaced, was told I could either go grab them or wait but “it could be a while” before they can bring them. Next day made sure to have the sign up to have our room made up while we were out. It was not so we had to go to front desk to get toilet paper and ask for towels. We would have tried to check out early but reservation says it's not refundable. I really hate to complain but the experience just put a huge damper on our holiday weekend.
"Best Western Peppertree in Bend, Oregon"
This Best Western was incredibly nice. The rooms were spacious and so were the restrooms. The staff was wonderful, and they allow dogs to stay with no restrictions for only $10 more a day. We had so much fun and rested well here!

"Staff goes above and beyond - Good place to stay in Bend"
The Best Western Peppertree has comfortable rooms and is close to the outdoor activities in Bend, as well as to the center of town. Easy parking on site, too. What really set it apart for us is the staff, specifically Bryce and his coworker on the evening shift. We had originally booked our long weekend with another hotel. On the day of our arrival, the original hotel said they had an issue so they had relocated us to the Best Western Peppertree Inn and had taken care of all the arrangements. Unfortunately, when we arrived at the Best Western Peppertree Inn after 11 p.m., our names didn't appear anywhere and the place was fully booked. The original hotel wasn't responding to our calls and didn't seem to have an emergency contact. Sitting in the parking lot, at midnight, searching websites for any available hotel room wasn't how we envisioned the start of our getaway. Bryce at the Best Western Peppertree made multiple calls to straighten out the situation that evening - he and team saved the day! A couple of recommendations nearby - Cascade Lakes Brewing and the Original Pancake House are both within a couple of blocks. The hotel also has good “grab and go” breakfast sandwiches when you're eager to get an early start on the trails. We'd stay here again.
Valerie Santillanes, Owner at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
We appreciate you taking the time to write a review. We are happy to hear one of our team members was able to get this straightened out for you. We will see you next time.
"Two Design Flaws"
1 Toilets are placed on the wall between the bath room and the bedroom and since this plan is repeated on the room above, the result is when ever some one in the room above flushes the toilet it sounds like Tumalo Falls is pouring down the vibrating 4 inch plastic pipe inside the wall. The toilet should always be placed in the demising wall to avoid this situation. 2. The step into the shower is a danger because the tread and riser and floor are all similar color. This increases tripping in Myopic guests .The elevated tread must be removed the shower pan should have an overflow drain on the elevated side or removed totally and a sloping abrasive tile floor installed. I have been an Architect for thirty years that has designed Hotels and Multi Family apartments . I will not return again to this hotel.

"Very Nice Experience"
Room was comfortable and clean! Even though we were on the first floor, it was very quiet. Great to have the pool and Spa available again. Since breakfast was still "Grab-N-G0" it was not a 10 but the service was great and the Breakfast Sandwich was tasty. Locate near a great little TapRoom that we enjoyed as well.

"Check the small details!"
I booked this hotel for an overnight stay to visit with family. I went to the specific hotel website to reserve a room but the site would not let me reserve online (with a discounted price for members) so I called the hotel directly. I got a room but the reservation person charged me $20 for the room even though I gave her our membership number. So fine, I will let that pass. It says on the website that they are pet friendly and they charge $10 per pet. We showed up at the hotel today with our 2 cats and they refused us. Nowhere on the website did it say, only dogs are allowed. I spoke to the manager and my husband even showed that cats will be allowed with permission and still they refused. False advertising here. The manager sent us to another hotel and said that it is the same category as their hotel. It wasn't but My Place hotel is sooooo much more accommodating than this Best Western. Very disappointing customer service!! I have worked in travel for many years and this could have been handled in a better way. Better check the details before you reserve because this hotel does not deliver what they advertise.
Valerie Santillanes, Owner at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
We are sorry to hear about your experience and we hope you found accommodations. We will investigate this situation. We appreciate your feedback. PET POLICY We are pet-friendly and allow up to two dogs in a rented room. The size limit for any one dog shall be 80 pounds. Pet rate is $10 per day. https://www.bestwestern.com/en_US/book/hotels-in-bend/best-western-premier-peppertree-inn-at-bend/propertyCode.38175.html
"spectacular"
outstanding quality for a great price . this is the kind of hotel I'd hoped to find on our leisure trip. room with a view of the mountains was spectacular.. plenty of room in our room with quality features .. service was good.. not understaffed. I'll choose BWP on our next trip anywhere !

"Printed Rules take precedence over behavior"
I will NEVER stay here again, and one more experience like this at BW will have me use Hilton from now on (as I've never had a problem here). Yelling, running, slamming doors is evidently acceptable if it's before 10pm, as the front desk imbecile would do nothing about the behavior of the teenagers that were out of control and whose parents were nowhere to be seen (or else didn't care).
Valerie Santillanes, Owner at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
We are sorry to hear about your experience. We will be investigating so we can train on situations like these. We appreciate your feedback and hope you give us another try.
"Nice hotel--poor service and amenities"
We arrived at this hotel to find that we had been put in a handicap accessible room when we had booked a room with 2 queens. When we asked to be moved the front desk told us that they only HAD accessible rooms with queens and that we must have booked that way. Our room had a KING bed and when we told them they offered to move us for an additional charge. In addition...no hairdryers provided to guests and the "luxury" bath items were a shower cap and a tiny bottle of lotion.

"Quick but nice stay"
We had a quick anniversary trip and were greeted by a delightful staff, the room was as advertised and very nice. Fitness room was clean and the pool was a good temp (not too cold, not too warm). Loved the LED fireplace by the bed. BW has been stepping up their game and it really shows. We will absolutely return!

Premier Best Western in Bend was an amazing place to stay! Easy access to all of Bends best opportunities, great staff with smiles you could see through the masks, In town to officiate a wedding - everything was perfect, easy and stress free! My only recommendation - Stay longer than one night!

"A most pleasant stay"
This hotel is very clean and comfortable. I was treated well and they met my accommodation needs as best they could. Most issues were solved with professionalism and care. They are still serving a modified breakfast which could use a bit of improvement as well as staff attending to the serving.

"Noisy bathroom"
We stayed at ground floor. Room was nice- clean and roomy. Big problem is the noisy created by room above ours: every time they flush toilet if feels like a thunderstorm is right above you. Unfortunately the guest had to use bathroom at least 8 times during the night. We did not sleep... a few short naps at best. Hopefully it's only this room ( 134) that has this issue.

"BEST Dog-Friendly Hotel!"
Wow, what a nice treat to stay in a CLEAN and MODERN dog-friendly hotel! We usually dread our dog-friendly hotel stays, and we have twice come home with terrible fleas from the outdoor pet areas. Peppertree Inn at Bend was spotless, newer, modern, and friendly. We slept like babies in the comfortable bed. Ate a fabulous pizza from Zpizza for dinner, and had yummy hot breakfast sandwiches, oatmeal with toppings, and coffee in the morning. (There are lots more options, in addition.) Thank you, Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend for making this trip a great one! (And not ONE flea, lol!!)

Beautiful rooms and helpful staff. Mo was awesome, cheerful, and very good at welcoming me to Best Western. I'm a fan now. internet worked well and fast. Parking lot was clean and safe. Couldn't beat the location. Nice lounge and good pizza next door. Great views from my room as well. Room was also very quiet.

"Great family friendly hotel"
We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. It was very dog-friendly, which is important to us, and it was very clean and sanitary, which is always important, but especially during Covid times. The breakfast sandwiches were delicious as was the pizza. We were in a three bed suite which was great for our large dog and our two teenagers. We would definitely stay here again.

"Disappointed"
The overall appearance at the hotel was beautiful. Rooms were clean. Loved the style and decor. Beds and pillows were hard. Did not sleep well. The phone in the room was broken, easy checkout could not be performed. Checkout line in the lobby was long. One staff person managed the continental breakfast. More staff would've been helpful. The line to be served breakfast was long, the carafes were out of coffee in the breakfast nook and in the lobby. Many guests were frustrated and disappointed. Chose to get breakfast outside of the hotel. More time and money should be spent on amenities and staff for better customer service than on the decor and the overall appearance for the price paid.

Thank you for your feedback. I am sorry to hear of the issues with your stay. We will investigate and definitely get more training for front desk and breakfast to resolve these issues. Thank you and we hope you give us another try.
"YES!!"
Anytime I come through bend I will be staying here without a doubt! The room was amazing! It had a really nice bathroom with a walk in shower, the tv was big, the bed was comfortable and the restaurant downstairs was great!

"Great central location in Bend, Oregon"
Newer property kept up well, central location to everything in Bend. Great area to hike, walk or run. Friendly helpful staff. Mountain view great, pizza restaurant attached was accommodating considering Covid restrictions.

Thank you for the review. See you next time.
"Felt like family!"
Mo and the rest of the front desk staff were the best hotel staff I've ever been helped by. Mo knew exactly who we were when we arrived and greeted us by name. When their giant cookies sold out the first night of our stay, the front desk saved one the next evening for our son. The beds were comfortable, our room was clean, the shower and amenities were as comfortable as home.

"Best trip so far in 2021"
My fiance and I had decided to take a spur of the moment trip and Best Western Premier in Bend Oregon did NOT disappoint for our trip stay! Gorgeous location and views from the room were breath taking
"Very Modern"
This hotel has only been open 2-3 years. It's very modern and clean. Thick towels, great mattress, quiet heat/ac unit, and a huge barn-style door closes off the bathroom. Due to the large size of the bathroom (it's really spacious) and open-style shower, it got rather cold in there. The only negatives were the smoke detector light on the ceiling for some reason was rather annoying, and the facial tissues were extraordinarily rough. I would've expected something very soft from a hotel of this caliber.
"Ski location"
We stay here because of the location in regard to mt bachelor for skiing , wife drops me off and can pick up without much hassle. This is a is Major consideration with the current parking restrictions in place.
"Great Hotel"
BW Peppertree in Bend is in a great location to get to Mt. Bachelor. The staff is working very hard to keep guests safe during this COVID time. The rooms are wiped down and cleaned, staff all wear masks. They are working very hard to make it all work.
"repeat guests"
we've stayed at this best western for over 10 nights in the past 2 years. We love coming here - great breakfast - clean rooms - very comfortable beds - awesome staff who are always friendly and happy (especially Mary - she always goes above and beyond). Unfortunately the pool is closed again - last visit the pool was open by reservation which was a great system....hopefully it will be open again soon. Our favorite rooms are the mountain view with fireplace. Zpizza on premises is great too - and we are able to get a half vegan pizza, which our daughter loves.
"Quick trip to Bend"
This is a clean, nicely appointed hotel with comfortable beds, friendly staff, and a nice tap/pizza joint on the premises. They are pet friendly as well! They are centrally located to everything Bend offers. I will be back for future trips to Bend.
"New and Clean"
Very new hotel so everything was in good condition and very clean which is extremely important to us. Room was more than adequate. As a custom home builder I can not understand why anyone would design a sliding barn door as a bathroom door, they are heavy and loose fitting. The design of the shower/drying area was hideous.
"Very comfortable stay"
We were able to relax with the very comfortable room and facility in the hotel. The cleanliness of facilities are very good and easy to use. We felt that the hotel did their best in this COVID-19 situation to minimize the risks.
"Fast, Clean and Roomy!"
This chain of Hotels never fails to disappoint no matter where you go. I didn't have an appointment walked in and was in my room in no more than 5 minutes. Rooms and big, TV has to be a 50” and the bathrooms are just the same! Free breakfast makes up the small premium you pay going elsewhere specially if you're with more people. (kids)
"Enjoyable Stay Pet Friendly"
Traveling with two pets in COVID times after my father's memorial over 1,200 miles and Peppertree was a beautiful stay during the journey. Pleasant, efficient staff in all areas. Clean property, comfortable beds, stylish and pet friendly.
"A very satisfying stay"
This modern hotel was offered to us at an incredible price ($115 plus tax) for a six night stay in October. It was a perfect home base for exploring the area. Due to COVID, breakfast was "Grab'n'Go". But they offered just about everything that you would expect from a full breakfast setup. They would prepare your requests and place it in a paper bag. I was fond of the breakfast sandwiches. They have an on site Pizza and Tap House in case after a long day you don't want to go out to dinner. They had over a dozen taps and the crispiest wings that I ever ate. Also, it is a 15 minute walk down to the Deschutes River Walk which was one of our activities on our to do list.
"Exceptional Quality"
The property is tucked away, but totally worth it. The exterior and interior are very clean and neat. The staff is extremely professional. The room was amazing! It was the first time out of a dozen hotel stays that I found a hotel with a bathroom that wasn't Bates Motel quality. A woman needs a bathroom worthy of using, this one takes the cake! Definitely staying here when we travel again.
"Good, clean, centrally located"
This place was nice for a get a away, even during this pandemic. It's clean. Comfy. Nicely located. I appreciate having some where you stay other than the resorts that outrageously priced at the moment for some reason.
"Clean, beautiful and in a great location."
Our room was spacious and clean, the hotel had beautiful decor, and it was in a great location. Zpizza is located on the 1st floor and was delicious pizza! You can walk from the hotel to the numerous walking trails along the river and among the trees. The only thing I would change is to improve the mattresses and pillows.
"Reserved 1 night 08/20/20 room wasn't ready at check in time, unfriendly staff and a condescending attitude."
People waiting in the lobby to check in. One slow inefficient desk clerk trying to wait on at least 10 customers. Rooms not ready at check in time. After waiting for the check in line to clear we finally got to the check in counter and were told the room was still not ready. At that point we told the desk clerk what he could do with the room and went elsewhere. A bad experience Best Western should be ashamed of their property and staff.
"Don't do it."
I stayed at this hotel in Bend for my birthday weekend August 27-30 of 2020. I am going to try to be thorough here. I paid extra for a Mountain View room. My advice to you is don't do that, because what I got was a view of the parking lot. I have a photo, I hope it lets me attach it to the review. I wrote in to complain about having paid extra and no one commented to me at all, no response about my complaint and no acknowledgment that I'd lodged it. Moving on. The room itself was really nice. Loud, but nice. The staff, while we stayed there, was very friendly. They unlocked the bike room promptly on request and always accommodating little requests, like a comforter for our bed (there was only a sheet and thin blanket) or some hand soap which was missing from the bathroom. When we left, my boyfriend and I split the cost: half on my card, half on his. We got receipts for this transaction. Two days later, I checked my bank account and find out I had actually been charged the entire room fee. I had him check to confirm that he hadn't been charged then, but he had been charged for his half of the room. Thus, we paid 150% of the room price. I immediately contacted the hotel. Someone unhelpful who didn't want to be bothered said he would have a manager call me the next morning. About 10 am I'd received no call, so I called again. This time I got someone who checked the account and confirmed we had been charged more than once. He apologized kindly and said a managers code was required to start my refund. He promised me the manager would call in a couple hours when he or she arrived. I appreciated his efforts and thanked him for apologizing. The call never came. The next day, I called again. I, admittedly frustrated, asked for a manager and was told to hold. I was then disconnected. I have called back since then four times over about five hours and the hotel no longer answers my calls at all. I had to dispute the charge with visa to get my money back. Ultimately, this hotel is not worth the trouble. The staff couldn't care less and can't be bothered to fix their mistakes. For the sake of your visit to a wonderful town, do not stay here. It will give you a bad memory of an otherwise beautiful trip. Notably, I wrote this review three days after the overcharge went through and still have received no call from the hotel. Don't. Do. It.
"Room not cleaned and manager unresponsive"
When we got to the room we noticed that the table under the TV was covered in smudges and crumbs. We were headed to dinner so we simply asked that the surfaces could be wiped down again while we were out, which did happen. Later that evening we found a stuffed animal on the floor near the bed and when we pulled out the sofa-sleeper, it was covered in sand and dirt as if from someone's feet. At that point it became apparent that the room was not cleaned prior to our checkin which is never acceptable, but especially not now. We specifically paid more to stay at the Best Western over other options in Bend because we believed a chain would at least be following strict cleaning regimens, but that was not the case. I let the front desk evening and morning staff know about the issues and have called the hotel 3 times since our stay, but have not yet received a call back from Alex who I am told is the manager and has not been available to take any of my calls. Beyond disappointing. I do not recommend staying here.

Hey Elizabeth, thanks for taking the time to give your feedback. I'm sorry to hear the rooms weren't up to the standard you've come to expect from us. I have personally addressed this with our housekeeping staff to ensure this won't happen again. Please contact me through chase@peppertreeinns.com if you want to discuss this further.
"No Room Cleaning Due to COVID"
COVID was the excuse for lack of cleaning and services provided for rooms - even when there is a significant spill and BROKEN GLASS in a room. We dropped our trash on the way to putting it outside the door (the only “cleaning service” they offer for those staying less than 4 nights). They would not come clean it, but brought us a few items and had us clean it.They were told it was a liquid spill, but no mop was brought. I am a pregnant woman and had to be on my hands and knees to clean with three rags. For over $200 per night, you'd expect something very different. Very disappointing experience. Nearly a full day later, the dirty items, vacuum and full trash sit outside our door, while multiple housekeepers passed by.
Chase Santillanes, Owner at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
Hello, thank you for your feedback. I was disappointed to read that you did not have a pleasant experience and can assure you I will be personally investigating the matter. I know our housekeepers and managers will do everything in their power to make sure your room is properly cleaned however, we are trying to limit human interaction as much as possible. That being said, we failed on providing you with the proper service and standards we hold ourselves to which I sincerely apologize for. Please contact me through chase@peppertreeinns.com if you want to discuss this further.
"Beautiful"
We were very happy with this hotel. The pizza was great, and the salads... the outdoor seating for the pizza was a great way to start our stay after a very long drive. We used the pool and the pool was amazing. The room was quiet and the top floor views were fun to see. I really am glad we booked here.
"Great hotel"
My family loved this hotel. The room was spacious and had a fridge and microwave. They gave us a top floor room which we never seem to get! The housekeeper missed a few things - there was a stale piece of pizza jammed in the ac unit and a dirty face towel in the shower. But those gross things were quickly overlooked. We didn't get to use the pool but it looked nice. They also offered a room to store bikes for all the mountain bikers who stay there. Breakfast was bagged as many are right now, but the offerings are decent. Modern and cool. They also have a few washers and dryers for guests To use but they don't have a change machine so bring your own quarters.
"Beautiful Property"
Hotel feels brand new, rooms and public areas are very modern and clean, staff was friendly and provided a minimal contact check-in and check-out. The location is scenic and very easy to access. I would definitely recommend this property.
"Great hotel option in Bend"
Brand new, super clean! Great amenities and location! I was able to walk to the trail system for a great morning walk. Would absolutely revisit, and was priced really well. The rooms were spacious and stylish, and the bathroom & shower was amazing!
"Very nice Hotel"
The property is almost like new. Updated, modern and the rooms are large. Staff was very friendly and went above and beyond. Check in was easy and lobby was spotless. Room was very clean and felt comfortable staying here. Very nice area for dogs, yes dog friendly!
"Very Comfortable and Clean"
Our room was fantastic. Very clean, modern and spacious. The bathroom was huge and well laid out. The bed was ultra comfy. I'm coming back the next time I'm in Bend. The staff were impeccable and the location was beautiful.
"None responsive to a simple request"
For many years now I have stayed at Best Western hotels. I have also had my family stay at many Best Westerns. Many times I have wanted to pay for the cost of the hotel for my family traveling when I am not with them. I have always been able to call the Best Western they would be staying at, have the hotel send me a Credit Authorization, and pay for my family. This has always been true, until I had to deal with the staff and manager at Peppertree Inn at Bend. 5 calls over 4 days brought no results. They took my email address the 3rd time I called but I never received the form to fill out. I called the Manager, Loraina, twice and left messages. Nothing. I finally decided that even if they did finally send me the form, I would never trust them with my credit card information. Thank goodness the Manager at Bonvoy Marriott in Bend was more than helpful. My family will be staying there. I am a platinum Best Western rewards member. Apparently that doesn't mean much at the Peppertree Inn at Bend, Oregon.
"Great location, Beautiful Property, Friendly Staff"
All the amenities were great including the "newness" of the entire hotel. Plenty of things to do in the local area. Staff was excellent; friendly. Room was very comfortable and spacious. They even have bike lockers!
"Summer in Bend"
My wife really liked this hotel, from the decor to the modern, clean accommodations. Everything was spot on. Check in was impressive with a container for "clean pens" to sign with and a staff member who was clearly well versed with all the new Covid rules. We felt very safe and comfortable staying there.
"Great staff!"
We were able to get a last minute reservation here for 4th of July weekend. Super cute and updated decor, clean and well maintained. The staff were GREAT, especially Mary and Mo. Mary gave us all sorts of information and shared local tips with us, she even helped me figure out what a local flower was. And Mo took the time out of her busy day to search our room after we got home and found my missing stud earring that fell on the floor! My only suggestion would be to bring a heavier blanket because the ones they offer are quite thin. Thanks for the great stay!
"Amazing!"
We will definitely be coming back! The staff is so friendly and helpful, Especially Mo! They have the best calzones at the pizza place in the hotel! It is very clean, Nicely decorated. Kids loved the pool, very clean and nice also!
"Great room great rate"
I have not stayed at Best Western in years. The place exceeded expectations. This was in a great location, very close to everything, the room was comfortable and plenty of space. We were able to use the pool and hot tub by ourselves and it was very relaxing.
"Family Illness"
I am so happy I chose this hotel during such an incredibly difficult time for our extended family and during Phase Two..(not every business was open yet in Washington and Oregon). The hotel seems very new (and quite convenient to some of our family in Bend) but it just re-opened with very little staff. I felt so bad for what staff they have retained because they were running themselves ragged. I hope that will eventually change. They maintained such a great attitude and for that, I was grateful. As a guest, I didn't mind going downstairs to ask for more towels (there is limited housekeeping right now)or having a grab and go breakfast instead of a buffet...that is trend I hope they can keep. They have a Pizza pub downstairs that I sadly didn't get to visit this time but it smelled heavenly. I stayed in room 401 and I loved the walk-in shower and the King bed with gas fireplace. I could open the window a bit for some fresh air and the A/C and fan worked great for “white noise” at night. Plus it is a corner unit so windows on both walls and across from the stairs. Lovely view and very quiet, but close to all indoor and outdoor activities Bend has to offer. We had a very, very ill family member that actually recovered and is doing great now but I initially rented the room in anticipation of going to a funeral this weekend. Things turned out for the best though and thanks to everyone from the doctors and nurses, to the hospital staff, and the hotel staff. You are all so important during this pandemic.
"Thin walls, hates Expedia, but beautiful property & rooms"
The walls are very thin. We were on the 2nd floor and could hear when anyone in the room above us was walking and using water. Anytime someone was using water (flushing a toilet, taking a shower, etc) it was VERY loud. I was unable to sleep during this time. Im not sure if there was a water tank or something in our room, but it sounded like water was flowing from the above room down to ours. Also, the young girl at the desk, gave us a big long speech about why Best Western hates when guests use Expedia. It was not a brief comment. She went on about it for a few minutes, making my husband and myself feel very uncomfortable and like we were being scolded. It was not very professional. Other than that, she was kind, just needs to work on her interpersonal skills. Our room was very modern in design, had great space and our room was very clean. Zpizza was also INCREDIBLE! (attached restaurant). We got pizza, wings and a salad and my husband and I were mind blown at how good everything was. We would definitely stay here again, but we would request a top floor to avoid noise.
"Staff should be commended during this difficult time of Corona virus"
Hotel was discreet in their social distancing but tried hard to keep everyone happy and safe. The entire staff should be rewarded just for showing up. Hotel very nice, newer property. Upper floors have nice moutain views on entry side. We traveled with a larger group for a family funeral and hotel was accomadating with putting us all close together on one floor. Nice pet area right off the elevators, just don't forget your room key for re-entry.
"Great location and beautiful hotel!"
Greeted by friendly staff. Hotel looks and feels brand new, is gorgeous! From our room, we had a full view of the mountains all around. My wife and I always enjoy taking a trip to Bend, and will return to this hotel in the future.
"Excellent experience"
Best hotel and experience. I would definitely come back and stay here. It was excellent.room was clean staff was great GM was the best!! Alex Morales the GM was nice and made our stay so perfect. Will be back soon.
"Beautiful hotel, great amenities and very pet friendly. The rooms are very cool looking."
We travelled here for our daughter's basketball tournament. The rooms were gorgeous. There was a place for our dog to use the bathroom that was convenient. My kid loved the pool. I liked the bar. I would definitely stay here again.
"Terrible hospitality, noisy"
Severely disappointed. Front desk staff were rude at check in (Bethany). Hotel was full of children visiting for a sports tournament. Extremely noisy. Entire hotel smelled like burnt pizza. No extra pillows were available. Hotel did not have fans for guest rooms. Hotel does not allow cash paying guests. Every simple request we had was met with a passive aggressive "No, sorry." When staff came to shut down the pool at 10pm they were incredibly pushy and rude. Took our belongings including our key card and threw away our drinks. Held the pool door and glared at us until we left. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and never have I experienced such poor hospitality. We are locals and were trying to have a fun relaxing night away from the kids for my husbands birthday. Will never stay here again nor recommend to friends and family.

Please feel free to reach out to Alex our GM with any further comments, concerns, or suggestions you wish to share. We would love to make things right if you give us another chance.
"Nice hotel"
Beautiful new decor. Avoid the breakfast though. The area for breakfast is nicely decorated just small and understaffed. The food was average at best. They really need to pay more attention to their customers by staffing breakfast better.
"New Hotel with decent pizza and ale (beer) selection"
zPizza makes staying here worth it! Front desk staff are friendly. Hotel lobby is clean. Located on the way to Mt. Bachelor. This hotel is on the southwest side of Bend near Old Mill shopping center. Movies, shopping and restaurants are a few minutes away.

"Great Property"
Everyone at the hotel was super friendly. The facility was clean and I could tell that the staff takes great pride in their work. The Wi-Fi was fast and without interruptions, the pool was calm and relaxing. The restaurant was delicious. The bar was cool to have on site since we wanted to stay in for the night. We will definitely be staying there again.
"Wasn't the Worst"
The hotel itself was very nice, clean and the bed was comfy. There were only a few things that bothered me. 1) I had called after I made my reservation and requested late checkout as well as a room on the highest floor I could get. When we got there not only did they put us on the first floor but it was right next to the exit door and it was street side; which was extremely noisy. And then when it came to checkout date, I guess no one noted that we had late checkout and the maid came in at 11am, luckily I had just put my clothes on! 2) if the door wasn't casing the noise, it was the obnoxiously loud plumbing. Everyone knew when you flushed a toilet! And then to top off the noise, all we heard was kids screaming in the pool area till it closed. The staff was very nice and Mo (she is a sweetheart) tried to help get a different room but had no luck. All in all, the hotel wasn't the worst. I might try it again if we get a different room.

"Great hotel great staff"
We stayed here last weekend for the heroes ski weekend. My husband is a veteran and we got a room here. It was a very clean and nice hotel. Staff was very nice. Enjoyed the bar and the lady that helped us was super amazing. Room was nice. 2 queen beds nice size bathroom. Liked the shower. Our boys enjoyed the pool. Only issue was the key cards didn't want to work but the front desk fixed it. Next time I'm in Bend I will be staying here again.

"Worst Hotel, Manager Kara Nixon discriminates against disabled guests."
When talking to the hotel about a billing error, Kara Nixon whom said she was a manager began to belittle me on the phone when I told her I was mentally challenged. While discussing why I was overcharged for my room Kara Nixon began laughing at me and said I was trying to take advantage of her. Yesterday I had called, 01/07/2020 about the over charge, today my credit card was charged again for a higher charge than previous I believe because of my complaint. Not only did Kara Nixon of Best Western Peppertree in Bend Oregon continuously laugh at me and refuse to answer my questions, she discriminated against me when I explained my disability by saying I was using it to take advantage of her. When I make reservations through Best Western I always disclose my disability so the team, customer service is aware. She has caused me undue distress and embarassment by laughing at my disability, making false accusations. Do not stay here, the showers are COLD, the staff is colder. I wasnt offered my points, express checkout, never greeted coming in or out (stayed 5 long days). Needs a staff overhaul, training in customer service and the manager fired!
PeppertreeNW, VP at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
First, I want to apologize that your stay with us was anything less than a fantastic stay. We strive to treat every guest with the most up respect and want everybody that walk through our doors to have a pleasant experience. Being that your reservation was booked with Best Western headquarters we will be working with them to make sure you are not overcharged and to make any necessary corrections.
"Must stay"
The rooms we're amazing! my dogs were very welcome lots of room to take for walks. Nice staff all the way around. Love the restaurant and bar. It was just a really nice stay for me and my family. We will be staying again.

"Really Great Hotel!"
Contemporary decor, room was spacious (2 queens), bathroom was very big. Very cool floors.. only negative is the shower is across the room from all of the towels, that's it. Otherwise, it was very pleasant & a great deal.

"Not our best of 3 stays"
We have stayed here 6 times over the last 3 months and this was defiantly not our best stay. I doubt that the many problems we had will apply to any other guest so I will avoid most of those details. I do have some tips for those of you staying there in the future though. If you end up on the end of the building where the restaurant is located get ready for the smells of breakfast lunch and dinner to be headed up your hallway. I recommend rooms at the other end of the building. If you want a room with a view I suggest asking for the 4th floor farthest from the restaurant. Room 2-3 have a few but some of the gorgeous mountains are blocked by trees, buildings or cell tower trees. If you decide to go with the breakfast that comes with your meal it is better than most in that it is prepared in a kitchen but you might not get what you ordered. That has happened to use 3 times now but we are flexible and it is still better than most hotel buffets. Ask for silverware when you order and look for the salt and pepper shakers and full syrup containers as you find a seat. There are not enough for all table and silverware comes out after you get your meal. Do expect a wait as they warn you that the closer to 8-9 it gets very crowded. Even meals can take awhile too.The hotel has bike storage and a pool as well as exercise room none of which we used. The majority of the staff was kind and helpful. The manager was a little less than what I am use to in a manager. Again this is all my personal opinion and you might have a better experience.
PeppertreeNW, VP at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
Thank you for choosing the Best Western Premier Bend. I am sorry to hear your most recent stay wasn't your best stay. We strive to make each stay a little better than the previous one. "Worst Stay/Customer Service"
I stopped in Bend, OR to stay the night half way on our holiday travel. The hotel looked nice and new. However, the two queen room I stayed in was small, the bathroom was large and open but very cold. There was no heat lamp or heat source and the stand up shower had no shower curtain. Made for a very cold shower. The telephone didn't work at all and I had to leave the room at 3 am due the AC unit not working properly. The room was 62 degrees with no heat. My family of four packed up and left before the sun came up. I was assured the manager would call me the next day but no one did. I called the hotel 2x a day for a week. Once I got in touch the the regional director Khara, she only offer me a $20 refund of my $140 night stay and an unsympathetic "i'm sorry but that all I can do" She said since they found no issue with the unit that the $20 was all she could do. I guess I like waking up my infant and toddler to leave a hotel I paid for a whole nights stay. UNACCEPTABLE!!

"Bar and Breakfast Disappointing"
New building - rooms are spacious, not worn and have comfy bed and nice big screen TV. Bar is a joke - drenched in bright white light with limited drink options - like, 7. Breakfast sucked - omelet (which costs extra) was dry, rubbery and scorched. No fruit options. Really, pathetic breakfast.
"VERY NICE HOTEL"
My stay at this hotel was very nice. It is a very new hotel in the Bend area and like anything new it was quite nice. The only two things I recommend they change are the pool and hot tub open hours (open later at night or 24 hrs) and that their restraunt and bar were open later at night. I had a 5 night stay there on business and all of these services were closed when I got back to the hotel. Evrything else was very pleasant!
"Wonderful, pet friendly hotel."
Stayed here while visiting family, we have two medium sized fur babies, we were welcomed with open arms. Hotel let us bring in our grandchildren to swim in the indoor pool. A wonderful treat in the freezing weather we were experiencing over Thanksgiving this year. Staff were all warm and courteous. We had a very pleasant stay.
PeppertreeNW, VP at Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend, responded to this review
Thank you for choosing the Best Western Premier Peppertree at Bend. We are so happy to hear you and your 2 fur babies had such a great stay. All our properties are pet friendly because the Peppertree family welcomes all family members :) Be sure to check out our other Peppertree locations in Spokane WA, Omak WA, and Nampa ID. Happy Holidays!
"Great hotel!"
I stayed here two separate occasions in November. Once with my dog, and once with my wife. They are very pet friendly, and we had a great room. The second time with my wife, we got the room with the fireplace/heater. Very nice touch. The bed was extremely comfortable and the room was very nice and clean. No complaints at all, except they have no rooms with a bathtub, after a long day of traveling, a good long soak in the tub with some Epsom salts would be very nice. We got in late and didn't make it in time to get breakfast, so I can't comment on that. But the front desk staff were very nice and helpful.
"Great Hotel"
This HOTEL is right in the heart of the Business District of Bend...and as such is close to many of the companies with whom I would be working if this were a business trip! Very easy access and great amenities!
"Great stay"
We loved our stay the rooms looked amazing The food from the restaurant was great The front desk staff was quick with checking in and friendly The restaurant staff was friendly We didnt have time to get into the pool which would have been nice but maybe next time!
"Nice clean hotel. Friendly staff. Just watch out for moldy bread at breakfast"
My wife, two year old daughter and I stayed here recently. For the most part, our stay was great. The staff was friendly. The room was very clean. We loved the location as well. The only reason I am giving this a 2 rating is that the one morning we took advantage of the breakfast, my daughter was served a piece of toast that was completely moldy on one side. I mean it was blue! It was on the underside so I didn't notice it until she had already eaten some. Pretty damned gross. I brought the plate to one of the restaurant staff who took it back to the kitchen and we never heard anything else about it. I get that it was a free breakfast but it really put a bad taste in our mouths (pun intended) about our stay. I spoke with the manager about when we checked out and he wanted help out with a discounted rate on a future stay. We corresponded by email after but when I was able to confirm the next dates we would be in Bend, the communication went dark. I followed up again with no response.
"Breakfast setup rude and user unfriendly."
Breakfast voucher entitles holder to one entree and one beverage at the on-site cafe. Voucher states, "Best breakfast time before 7am, busiest breakfast time 7am-9am. During the busy times a typical wait may be up to 30 minutes to be seated." Every other Best Western I've patronized serves breakfast until 10am on the weekend, but not this place. Obviously, management is discouraging hotel patrons from getting the free breakfast. The threatened 30 minute wait to be seated possibly deters all but the most frugal. I am not going to have breakfast before 7am on a Sunday morning when it's before sunrise and still dark, and I'm certainly not going to wait in line for half an hour to have an early (7-9am) breakfast on the weekend. Our party (2 vouchers & two paying) went somewhere more welcoming, and I added this place to my blacklist. These conditions hardly make this hotel a "premier" destination. The manner of the front desk personnel was neither friendly nor hostile but pretty much indifferent. I didn't experience a welcoming manner from any of the three with whom I dealt. The decor of the hotel is probably called retro or modern, and the lobby looks like the dream of some 1950's decorator. It's very cold and slick and not at all inviting. We had to wait for our room to be ready, and I can tell you that the chairs and sofas are the most uncomfortable I have encountered in a long time. I think they're not for sitting but just for looking, but not the blue sofa with the big white stain on it. The room was nice and had a very distant view of the mountains, but what one really saw was the parking lot. Again, the decor was modern and slick, except for the crowded-in vinyl footstool that totally didn't match the chair or anything else. The bed was comfortable, but the four pillows were not. They were all the same--fat and springy like inflated balls. A mix of firm and soft would be better. For bathing, there is only a shower and no place to hang a wet bath towel. On the plus side, the room was very quiet and good for sleeping. My rating of a two reflects the discrepancy between expectations and reality. If you bill the hotel as "premier" and charge the rates that it does, then cutting corners on breakfast and sacrificing comfort for appearance really doesn't wash.
"Clean, friendly, great breakfast"
This is our second visit to the BW Peppertree in Bend. Clean, great staff. One of the best breakfast deals we've had. Service, seating and options are great. One of my pet peeves is a room fridge that is luke warm. The fridge in our room was nice and chilly. No problem leaving milk or leftovers in there. We will definitely be back!
"Beautiful hotel."
Perfect stay. New clean great location. Pet friendly. Good breakfast. Modern design, fireplace in room was nice touch. Linens and bed were nice. Great value. Quiet. Pool and indoor gym were near front of hotel. Room was spacious.
"Highly recommend! Kind & helpful staff"
Staff was super friendly. Accommodated my needs. They even had a pack and play ready for me in the room for my babygirl. We went to visit blockbuster which not too far from this hotel. Not one issue we had during our two night stay. Khara made me say yes by her customer service over the telephone!
"Great new addition to Bend"
Very friendly and helpful staff. One of the truly "pet friendly" places we've stayed at. Most say they are but charge outrageous extra fees for a pet. We enjoyed the adjacent pizza and brew pub. The pillows are very puffy but otherwise a great place. We'll be back!
"Overnight stay"
Had a really nice stay on our way through Oregon. From the front desk clerk to the comfy beds. The room was very nice and clean. Bed was super comfy and had a very restful night. Would definitely recommend a stay here.
"Fantastic Weekend Getaway!"
We love visiting Bend. BW Peppertree is our first choice for a hotel when in the area. Friendly staff, extremely clean and well kept rooms, and a delicious restaurant onsite. We will happily be returning for future stays!
"2nd stay here"
Great new place. Very clean, courteous staff and great location. My agency will be using this hotel for future lodging and conference room access for about 10 people over 6 weeks this winter. I have stayed here twice and it is a 10 out of 10.
"Great hotel."
I stayed her for business, and everything was top notch. The staff were very friendly and helpful. This is a perfect example of everything done right in a hotel. This hotel opening was a pleasant surprise and at a very good price for the area.
"Very beautiful modern facility with a friendly staff"
My second Premier property in two days and I'm sold. Room and common areas are spacious and well accessorized. More modern in design and decor than many BW facilities while maintaining comfort and friendly atmosphere. Front Desk staff were helpful and cheerful. A zPizza shares the same lot and offers good pizza close by. Room was large, quiet, and uses barn doors on bathroom and closet. I don't think Peppertree name is included in new signage.
"Excellent stay!"
Best hotel by far! Very impressed with it! It's new but I hope they keep it up! It was clean. The room was spacious. The bathroom was huge! The hot tub and pool were clean. I will stay here again when I'm in town.
"The Best Western ever"
This is a brand new hotel -- top of the line Best Western -- I have stayed at a lot of Best Western properties and this one is by far the nicest. Very nice heated indoor pool and hot tub -- great fitness center -- great business center -- well appointed guest rooms and comfortable bed.
"Cost a little more but worth it!"
The room was nicely appointed. The bed was clean and comfortable. The shower was amazing. It was very quiet. The full complementary breakfast was made to order. The small lounge had a decent selection of drinks. And the service was impeccable!
"Excellent choice!"
You'll be happy you made the decision to stay at this hotel. The front desk was welcoming and efficient. The rooms are really nice with an over the top bathroom including walk-in shower. This will be my go to hotel in Bend.
"Best Pet Friendly in Bend"
Disclaimer: I haven't stayed at any other pet friendly hotels in Bend but I can't imagine how there could be a better one. The hotel is basically brand new, which means the rooms, pool/spa, fitness center, and all other amenities are in perfect working order. The hotel is minutes (driving) to downtown and on the road that takes you straight to golf and Mt. Bachelor. The bike parking lot room was a new one for me, but if you bring yours there's a spot waiting. The attached restaurant (Pizza Tap) has really good pizza and in true Bend style 20+ craft beer taps. They also provide the hotel's complimentary breakfast service, which is the best complimentary breakfast service I've experienced. And above all else, a great staff. You can tell when everyone working at the hotel (desk, maintenance, house keeping, restaurant) care about your stay. Bottom Line: If you're just looking for a place to spend the night, there may be a better value in Bend. But if you're going to spend any amount of time at the hotel, use the facilities (restaurant, gym, pool, etc.), or like a solid breakfast to start the day, this is the place.
"A wonderful experience at the Bend, OR Best Western."
The Bend Oregon Best Western is a beautiful hotel and and we had a wonderful experience. The room was beautiful and the staff was extra helpful. I especially liked the large clean bathroom. The over night stay was wonderful and the next time we're in Bend we'll stay at Best Western.
"Very nice"
The room was awesome , very nice and big, the bathroom was incredible, comfortable big bed. My boyfriend and I really enjoyed the stay, pizza and beer at the restaurant was great. Would highly recommended this place.
"Beautiful New Hotel"
Clean hotel, comfy beds, nice Keurig coffee machines in room. Nice pool and jacuzzi. Friendly staff. Great breakfast and good pizza place attached to the property. Nice mountains views. Not to far from town
"Very nice clean hotel."
This is the best hotel in the chain so far. Fairly new and everything very clean, the front desk people were very nice. The breakfest was very fast.the view was very good of the mountains will be very good in the winter.
"Tough to review"
This place is very modern and quite antiseptic. The furniture looks as if it came out of an IKEA garage sale. They have spent a lot of money trying to make this attractive. Unfortunately, they must deal with the road noise outside, the fact the thermostat does not function and the flooring makes you feel like you are in a hospital room. And the price was not friendly.
"PJTucson"
Knowledgeable and courteous staff. Clean, high quality rooms. Easily accessible. Would gladly stay here again. Best Western offers upper echelon hotels for their price range. The decor and overall amenities of Premier Best Western was well thought out and implemented.
"highly recommend"
We stayed one night at this hotel after visiting Crater Lake, and I was very satisfied with the stay. It is very clean, and all staffs I met were so nice. I am happy that I chose this hotel for our family trip.
"Road Trip Bend Oregon"
The Best Western Peppertree Inn of Bend was the perfect place for our last night on the road of our mother-daughter yearly trips! We will go there again! Such a fun town to spend time in and it is also close to Crater Lake National Park!
"Beautiful Property Deserves Better Customer Service"
Great property; great location (near everything you need to see in Bend) seemingly run by kids from the college next door who think working is talking with each other only to be annoyed by guests. With a couple exceptions, this was our experience over the three days we were there. We are on the road a lot so we know what a properly run hotel is like and what a dud looks like when the staff are indifferent or inexperienced. If this place grows up it could be a great hotel. The room we had was quite nice.
"Great stay!"
This is a very neat, clean, and modern hotel, with free breakfast, fitness center, and high-speed WiFi. It's located in a beautiful and quiet neighborhood. We had a great time there. All the family members loves it!
"Perfect vacation spot"
We had a great stay at BW for our soccer tournament. Staff was very helpful and friendly, pizza/breakfast area were perfect for a large group. Kids had a blast swimming in the pool. Great location, close to everything.
"Very modern"
This is a very beautiful new hotel with modern decor including a large shower and no bathtub. The included breakfast was ordered at a counter and delivered to your table which eliminated the wait for the waffle machine and other food offered.
"Beautiful Hotel."
This place was nice and clean. It's a little out of the way but it's worth it. The room was really modern and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely use this hotel again.
"Wonderful friendly service. A clean and very quiet room."
Wonderful friendly service. A clean and very quiet room despite the hotel being slammed and full with kids and thier families for a local little league tournament. Great location, close to town but far enough out so that it was a little more off the beaten path of the hustle and bustle of what Bend has become. A great stay and would go back to this hotel for sure. Thank you!
"Great Gem of a Hotel"
What an incredible place. This is not the Best Western I knew as a kid. Felt like a small boutique 5 star hotel. The location was perfect. A five minute walk or bike to just about anywhere in Bend. Friendly staff and beautiful rooms. I was really impressed.
"Wonderful experience"
Traveling with 70 lb dog and EVERYONE treated him like he was our child (which he is!). The room was wonderful, clean and comfortable. Lots of parking. Convenient dog "walking" area. The hotel is in a very nice area and easy to get to all parts of Bend. Have been in hotel's and paid a lot more and they were not as friendly and the rooms/area was not as great as this was. HIGHLY RECOMMEND this hotel.
"Bend Beauty"
This BW (new in 2018?) is really a gem. The furnishings in the shared areas feel like an extension of the outdoors. The rooms are very comfortable and clean, with a good sized mini fridge and microwave. Staff were friendly and helpful. The pool and hot tub were well-maintained. The full-service, complimentary breakfast was superior but you've got to get there early and be prepared to wait.
"Quiet, clean and comfortable"
The rooms were very clean, quiet and dark for a good night sleep. The breakfast was awesome and the pool/hot tub made for a good recovery from a mountain climb. If you're ever going to climb South Sister, the Best Western is a perfect fit to the climb.
"Great stay for a great price"
This was my first time staying at this hotel, but will not be my last. The staff was extra helpful and friendly. They really went above and beyond for us. Our rooms were very clean and updated/ remodeled maybe. Within walking distance to some pretty good restaurants. Highly recommend.
"Girls Trip"
Great hotel! Very clean! The front desk and the tall manager (I think Derrick) were very friendly and super helpful giving us details on getting us around town and where to get good food. Very happy and will come back again!
"Overnight in Bend"
This BW property is awesome. I have stayed here a couple of times, and the location is just beautiful to walk around. They have a pizza place in-house, but I walked to Baldy's BarBeque a half mile away and it wa amazing! I would recommend BOT of these establishments to anyone visiting Bend.
"first stay at this Best Western"
Can't say enough about how nice my stay was at the Best Western. It's a great.location, easy to gst in and out of. I found the staff of the hotel and the restaurant to be very helpful and friendly. Room was very omfortable. When in Bend, I will stay here as a first choice.
"Stay at a very different Best Western"
This is more of a "hotel" than a "motel". The decor is upscale as well as what is offered. Rooms are very modern yet comfortable. There is a gift store as well as a bar. Breakfast is a sit down with food made to order. The exercise room and pool are very nice. Staff is friendly and helpful.
"Great room and amenities, but customer service at the desk disappointing."
We arrived somewhat early but they did find a room ready for us. However, the front desk person did not recognize our "Platinum" status. I was not offered the member gift, had to ask for it. THen I was just handed 2 bottles of water. No appreciation shown at all by the front desk person.
"Best western weekend"
This hotel is really nice.. very new and clean.. you will enjoy your stay here.. it's close to old mill shopping and lots of restaurant's.. 30 min to sisters 15 min to Redmond this hotel sits in the perfect location. Pictures of the room and view.
"Nice property and price was relatively reasonable"
Had a nice stay. Only spent one night. The service was a little awkward at check-in, they had to go check if the room was ready at 5pm? The process was done on paper and clumsy. The property itself was clean and nice. The provided breakfast was very good and the service was also good at breakfast.
"Great stay"
The Peppertree is a new hotel and it is great. It has a pizza place attached to it which makes it nice when you arrive at dinner hour and the staff at the hotel and restaurant where warm and friendly and after a long day of driving made the evening more enjoyable.
"Excellent Choice of Hotel"
This was a hotel that was selected by the bride and groom of a wedding we were attending. They got a block of rooms and we took advantage of it at a reduced rate. Gorgeous beautiful hotel. Everything we needed was there and in fine working order. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
"Great stay"
This was a very new hotel, which had only been there for almost ten months. It has been the nicest Best Western I've ever stayed at before. It's not too far from Mt. Bachelor so if you like to ski snowboard or any snow activity then it's a great spot in Winter.
"nice new motel staff friendly"
great place to stay thought had but thought they had buffet breakfast but voucher breakfast at pizza area was great. rooms were clean and a good size. quite yuppy part of town lots of brewpubs in the area and walking distance. the on-site pizza restaurant was good.
"Great place to stay in Bend"
We travel to Bend often to visit family and this was our first time to stay at this relatively new Best Western. The property is very nice - it has a “rustic modern” vibe with lots of spaces in the lobby as well as on each floor for working, lounging or gathering. Our room was clean and comfortable. My only complaint was no screens on the windows. The room was well appointed and the furniture and bed were comfortable. There were an abundance of conveniently located outlets. I can see how the flashing light on the smoke detector could make sleeping a challenge for a light sleeper. The pool and fitness area are nice. The food and menu at the adjoining Z Pizza restaurant were very good. Complimentary made to order breakfast is served in this same space - there is a limited but adequate menu and the food is quite good for complimentary hotel breakfast. Service was very friendly and attentive. Sadly, there are no outdoor areas for sitting or reading. The Old Mill shopping area is close by and there are many restaurants and a couple grocery stores in close proximity. This is will definitely be one of our go-to places to stay on future visits.
"Visiting Bend - Stay here - It's Great"
This was a 6 of 5 rating. The Peppertree Inn exceeded all of our expectations. The hotel is new, modern and the decor fits Bend. It's in a good location, close to other restaurants and shopping. They have a pizza restaurant in the hotel. Excellent pizza, good choices, including gluten free. The breakfast is great, restaurant style, a small but satisfactory menu. All the staff, front desk, housekeeping and food service were very responsive and attentive to our needs. Could not find a reason to criticize. We will make this our hotel anytime we visit Bend.
"Favorite Bend hotel"
Super friendly staff, amazing customer service-Great rooms and beds, nice breakfast, but they need a new toaster, ha ha! Everything is clean, it is quiet, we Love this property! Yay!! Great restaurants nearby, ZPizza Rocks! never had a bad experience yet, and again great service, free room service, can you believe it? Top #1 in my book- close to downtown, great park nearby-Wow!
"Nice place to stay"
We attended the unified softball tournament and hotel was across the street. Great place to stay. Pool was nice and the workout room was up to date. One of the nicest Best Western hotels I have stayed in.
"Beautiful Modern Hotel"
We absolutely loved our stay at the Best Western Peppertree. Check-in was seamless, our room was easily switched when upon entry there was a definite strong marijuana odor coming from that whole end of the second floor. The first room was gorgeous with a walk in shower and lovely toiletries. The room we ended up in had a similar bathroom but with a tub/shower combo. Huge bathrooms, all three of us were able to get ready in in the morning. The beds were super comfortable and the room was very clean! Pool and spa area also had plenty of towels and was kept clean also. This would definitely be a great hotel for a business traveler, plenty of computer stations set up everywhere. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat!
"The best minus one major flaw."
Best Western Premier Peppertree Inn at Bend Bend Toilet 671378847 This is an first class facility, probably one of the nicest hotels I have ever stayed in!! it is a travesty with toilet flushing noise, it is significant! The employees are significantly trained for customer service. Excellent parking areas.
"A Good Stay"
Was a good hotel for what its rated for. I am sure with more training emphasizing on service, BW may have even better rates. The breakfast quality could use with some improvements and more variety. We will stay here again and will hopefully see improvements.
"Bad customer service."
I am a diamond select member and I was using my points for my son to stay in Bend. When he checked in they debited his card full price for the room $370. when he realize they charge his card that much he went to talk to the manager and she explained to him that they charge full price for the room plus your points in case he decided to steal the TV.very poor customer service will never recommend the peppertree inn in Bend to anybody I know or who will listen to my story.
"Bends newest BW"
This place is a little out of the way, but affordable and first class. Beautiful rooms great service and a lounge that serves a huge variety of craft beer. This is definitely the place to stay in Bend.
"Beautiful facility"
Lovely new hotel. Located in a charming area of town. We enjoyed the room, however it was located next to something that sounded like a tornado all night. Perhaps a main plumbing line? Very loud and interrupted sleep. There was a large mound of snow at the main entrance and we had to suggest they clean it before someone was hurt. Food typical. When we discussed the room noise the staff was apologetic, but offered no concession. We were disappointed.
"Great!"
That place is brand new and modern. Very nice, easy parking, pizza place at the property. Clean quiet and comfortable room. Pleasant staff. Perfect location. Perfect everything, but... Breakfast was from 7 to 10 and at 830 they were out of bread??!! And out of yoghurt too. We will be back anyway!
"Business trip to Bend"
Nice modern hotel. Lots of easy parking. Excellent service, clean quiet room and excellent housekeeping. Bed was comfortable and the shower was awesome. In room fireplace is a nice touch too. Love this place.
"Perfect"
This was a Beautiful hotel! We Will definitely stay again. The room had an amazing fireplace like no one I've seen before. They had a great happy hour with very affordable drinks. The restaurant had amazing food as well.
"Great Location"
This is a new hotel and everything is great. The rooms are very roomy, nice and comfortable. The bathrooms are huge and nice. The spa and pool area is kept very clean and picked up. The staff was very accomadating and helpful.
"Great hotel and great experience!"
We really enjoyed our stay that this hotel. The rooms were quiet, in fact, it was the quietest hotel I have ever stayed at. The pizza was amazing and the pool was fun. We would definitely stay here again!
"Very poor communocation with check out problems"
Major problem with billing and miscommunication. We were told a manager would call us asap and instead and hour later we were sent an email and when told we wanted a phone call instead there was no response at all
"AMAZING"
THIS IS AN AMAZING HOTEL - I had no breathing issues which means no mold at all in my room, etc. Front desk employees were very helpful - we were in town for a tournament - they handled all of the groups very well!!
"Will definitely stay again!"
Very clean and very nice hotel. Just built in 2018, so hopefully, they will keep it up! Great amenities! Nice continental breakfast! Clean eating area and nice variety of food choices. Cool game room/pool for families and kids. Helpful and friendly staff. Only issue was streaming service on tv in room. Didn't ever get it to work and staff was unable to help. It is a pet friendly hotel, so if you don't like dogs, make sure to request a room on opposite end of pet friendly rooms. Had to listen to someone's dog barking at night for about 30 minutes. Not exactly pleasant, but overall, would recommend staying here and will definitely stay here again.
"Superb fresh hotel design and decorating"
Started out believing I would give this place an excellent rating for its decor, room sizes, spacious exercise room and even a dedicated storage area for bicycles. But a few things brought it down a notch. We stayed on the 3rd floor and heard the rush of waste-water coming down a pipe in the wall next to our bed every time the person above us would flush. (The person sure flushed a lot.) Second, the placement and choice of smoke detectors with an "operational" light that flashes every 4-6 seconds directly above the bed that caused some restless sleep until I figured out the next morning where the flashes were coming from in the dark room. Third, the free breakfast the first morning had a liberal amount of oils in the eggs to the degree that they kept slipping off the serving spoon and 3 of 4 of the Juice machine choices needed to be refilled. We told the Front Desk of the breakfast issues. On the second morning, the food had less oil, but 2 of 4 Juices in the machine were empty. Would I stay there again - Yes, after all I rated this as a Very Good.
"Great value!"
We stayed here on our way home after going to Mt. Bachelor. The rooms are very modern and clean. Our first room unfortunately didn't have a working thermostat. The manager was great and changed our room and gave us a comp for our next stay since we prepaid through a third party. The only drawback is the noise. The family w small kids that seem to believe that vacation means allowing jumping off furniture for fun or running up and down hallways. I have to admit that really makes a person think twice about staying again. Thin floors and walls? It is a nicely designed hotel and the rooms are good sized w comfortable beds. It is a reasonably priced hotel so I would say it's worth a try.
"Great Stay"
Had the privilege of finding this hotel. We usually like to stay at BW and as usual, it was A1! The staff from the check in young lady to the maintenance man were just nice, nice and friendly. Hotel was clean, the 'playroom' was fun. First time to play ping pong in a BW, they have a bike room for bikers with tools if needed - just a great place.
"Just perfect"
Chose this location for a night away to celebrate our anniversary. We chose a king bed with a fireplace and Mountain View (parking lot side). Lobby was as modern as another hotel we stayed in Texas in January. Decor was just right for Central Oregon. Bed density was great for us, fireplace was a cozy touch, view of the mountains was nice to wake up to. Breakfast was on point in its own kitchenette serving area (bacon, eggs, waffles, breads, danish, yogurt & toppings, oatmeal, cereals, beverages, fruit). Location is on the road to Mt. Bachelor. We chose a room not on the main road knowing travelers would be headed to the mountain in the morning. Slept as well as I do at home, woke to the yip of coyotes-thinking I was at home and they were after our farm dog lol. Do consider this location for your visit. It was worth the price for what they offer.
"Beautiful and Comfortable Hotel"
Located close to campus, this hotel is stylish, clean and a perfect place to stay when visiting Bend. The restaurant has local beers on tap and delicious pizza options. I will absolutely come back again.
"Bloody Sheets"
First time in Bend, and was told great things about the Peppertree Line and check it out. Once i was in my room i received a suprise of another guest walking in the room. He too was assigned the same room as me. the check in experience wasn't good. the receptionist gave me someone else's room. The manager Xena tried to make up for the oops and assigned me a suite with a fireplace. the fireplace was nice and when i was about to take a nap and pulled back the sheets and seen blood on the sheets. Never in my life have i experienced anything like that before. i wouldn't recommend this hotel to anyone.

"Great new hotel"
This is a new hotel with Pacific NW decor throughout. The lobby features log wood looking tables a fancy fireplace and steel chairs. The room we had was great! Large bathroom with walk in shower with floors that were tile but looked like rustic wood. The bed was very comfortable. The TV was mounted on a swivel so if you wanted to sit on the couch or desk, you could watch TV. The hotel was very clean. The walls were soundproof as there was a bunch of kids there when we stayed and we never heard anything! Plenty of charging stations in the room. Breakfast actually was very good with good scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. Plus waffles and other typical carbs. There is a great game room. I could see this being a great place for those with kids. This appears to also be pet friendly.

"Has the price really doubled?"
My past stay would receive 4 stars, (5 if there was a tub and the smoke detector didn't strobe directly overhead all night), but my future stays would receive a 1. We paid $123 after taxes for a king room, including breakfast. The facilities are spotless and the location was great. When looking into a future stay, I see the same room is now $265??? This isn't for the holidays, but for a random off-season mid-week stay. I also saw that breakfast is no longer complimentary. I hope this is a glitch in the website, because while nice, it's really not a $265 hotel.

"Overpriced and extra charges."
Bend is a nice city and the location of the hotel is decent. The amenities are what you'd expect and you're basically paying for extra bathroom area: a very large bathroom; but no bathtub, just a lot of floor space. And consequently, a small closet. Same in the fitness center: only a few machines, but lots of floor space. But my biggest peeve was that I used (a lot) of points for a free room and was still charged $30. When I noticed it on my credit card statement (no warning on the hotel bill) I was told it was taxes - and they said it was "rounded up" to $30. Then they directed me to some person that handles group bookings and mismanages their finances: she never acknowledged the mistake and just traded missed calls. Finally, Best Western corporate created "a file" which would hopefully force them to reimburse me.

"High Desert Safari"
Found this BW in the last town of size before exploring the Oregon Outback. Built in Summer 2018, really large rooms, modern design, huge bathrooms. Very nice and appreciated hot tub and pool. Breakfast was typical, but well stocked. There is a pizza restaurant and tap room attached. Would definitely be our first choice if in Bend.
"Quite location and brandnewish"
Stayed her on business. Great location in a quiet commercial business location. The rooms are really spacious. The place seems pretty new so not a lot of wear and tear or funky smells. Totally recommend this place and hope to return soon with the fam.
"Central Oregon"
This is a great place to stay while in the Bend Oregon area. Easy to find and a great property. It is only a few months old so it's just like new. Exceptional furnishings and bedding for this type of hotel/motel. Room was very large and had a large bathroom with walk in shower, no tub. Small pizza place connected to property that has good food and craft beers. Highly recommend this property if you are staying in this area.

"Nice location, New and Modern"
The hotel is new and modern. All the amenities you need! Fitness room, indoor pool, wifi, free breakfast and on-site restaurant. Water and coffee in lobby. We requested a ground level room which was a blessing and a curse. It was close to everything but a little noisy. The location is minutes from everything and we were even able to walk to a few places too. We stayed for our planned 4 nights and added an extra because we didn't want to leave!

"Clean, modern, great service. "
Stayed 2 nights at this hotel - Bend is a pretty town with some good restaurants and a beautiful river. This hotel is very new, clean, good breakfast, and Carlos the current manager is very nice, kind and helpful.
"Please read the entire review."
This is a two part review, one as a consumer and one as a business. First as a consumer, the hotel was clean, rooms are very nice and probably a little better then most of the BW I stay in. Front staff was a little undertrained checking in 5 rooms. As a top rewards member, I was not offered the free gift or extra points. They had no clue why the small bar was not open. Overall I would give the facility a 3.5 stars and hopefully they will get more efficient. Second part is as a business. I was doing a motorcycle tour thru Oregon with 8 clients. When we started the trip,, I was concerned about the stay here. I had only one contact with the group sales person but did have a confirmation. After 350 miles on our motorcycles, we pulled in and went in to start the check-in process. My worst fear became true. I had no reservations for my group. My clients were tired and wanted to check in and we had to wait an additional 30 minutes to finally figure out what was going on and just do new reservations. We were not offered water, complimentary beer, nothing for our inconvenience. So the VP of group sales had quoted me one price and when we checked in, I actually got a lower price for the rooms. I blame this on one person, the VP of Operations my contact. We have 3 motorcycle tours planned for 2019 and I will not stay at any of the 4 properties that she is involved in. In all my stays at Bw's this by far is the worst customer service issue I have ever had. They lost all my business for 2019 and beyond. I will still use BW's for my tours but never this on again.
"Beautiful, simply beautiful"
This hotel only opened this year. The lobby is gorgeous. They have a brew/coffee bar adjacent to the lobby. Our room was beautiful and even more important, comfortable. It was less than 5 minutes from the brewery/restaurant area of town.
"Nice hotel. Lousy customer service and followup."
The plus: it's new, so it looks good. The minuses: poorly trained staff repeatedly blame being new for numerous errors. The first was an extraordinarily long check-in process. The clerk couldn't figure out how to handle check-in for our three rooms. Eventually, the manager intervened and got it straightened out . . . or so we thought. We had family in two rooms and friends staying in a third. The friends were traveling with us from Japan. At check out I presented my credit card for the two family rooms. The clerk processed my payment. Then my friends presented their credit card for their room. She processed their payment. I watched the whole thing take place. It was VERY obviously two separate transactions with two cards. As soon as we left the hotel, we realized the child in our group had left his baby blanket. It's a sentimental item, so I called the hotel and the clerk told me the room had not been cleaned yet. I asked if they would check and he brushed me off and said they'd check when they cleaned and would mail it. Never heard back. Then I received my credit card statement and find that I was charged for all three rooms. So I called 1. to clear that up and 2. to ask about the blanket again. The fellow said no blanket was ever found. Hmmm. OK. And he couldn't do anything about the charges for three rooms because they had all been reserved BUT NOT PAID FOR in my name. He told me I would have to contact my friends in Japan to work it out. I said that's uncomfortable (it's culturally inappropriate) and unacceptable. He told me he would leave a note for his manager to contact me. No one ever has. So I'm sorry, but I won't be recommending this to friends in Oregon nor internationally. It's really terrible customer service.
"The nicest Best Western I've stayed in!"
I stayed here with family on our first trip to Bend. This hotel is BRAND NEW and it's by far the nicest Best Western I've ever stayed in. Actually, the nicest hotel in general that I've ever stayed in! The rooms are incredibly nice and clean (good job housekeeping!) I have no complaints whatsoever about the rooms. The staff have been nothing but nice and accommodating. There are Keurig coffee machines in the rooms, microwave, fridge. The basics which is all I ever need. The bathrooms are the nicest I've ever been in with spacious walk in showers and a large sink area plus shelves to keep your personal bathroom items. There's also a large work out room, pool, hot tub, and a room with a ping pong table among other things. I HIGHLY recommend staying here! Don't listen to negative reviewers, they're just too picky about where they stay and don't appreciate how great this hotel really is. Thank you to the wonderful staff for the amazing stay! I would definitely stay here again!
"Do you like the brand "IKEA"?"
We have a brand new lodging option in the Bend/OSU area. It sits at the corner of Century and Mt. Washington Blvd. After my staying in a 4.5 star rated privately rented home (dog friendly), and Tetherow (full for this night), I should've stayed farther away or in the "slasher" motel near midtown. Why? for this same price you get: a room that vibrates noisy people/children across the hall, distressed wood like finishes on the room services, abbreviated television services (local channels) and limited services to food and drink. My room was $300+ for a night. (with a club membership!) When I inquired about my concerns the morning managers response was " we've only been open a month. We cannot make everything right with our quick turnover and Oregon law". Excuse me? give me extra points to come back again? I think NOT! It's not all bad. the room was clean & new with white linens and bedspread. As a blond, I do not know how the dark rogue hair was in my soap trip. It seems they are "going green" as the garbage cans did not have plastic liners. I can only hope those are sanitized between stays. I'll give the room a "pass" based on the total feel of a room. What was lacking were ear plugs. The rooms have PAPERTHIN sound dampening. Again I will go to my title of this review. Truly "Best Worsten", should get a clue. Don't expect future the OSU campus to take up your slack. Give your guinea pig customers a break let me know how to follow up. a VERY disappointed traveler.
"Family stay for weekend Lacrosse tournament"
This place is beautiful. The staff are kind and professional. We called around 10:30 at night leaving a place we had booked due to it being not acceptable and the BW staff had a room available for us that night. The facility is top notch. The breakfast was great.
"It is gorgeous!"
This is a newly opened hotel, only 2.5-week old as of writing. I paid $20 dollars less in the room because I am a member of Best Western Rewards club. The parking area is adequate. The check-in was not that fast because someone is being trained, otherwise it was good. The design of the building has a modern taste, and I love their hallway carpet. I requested for a room in the ground floor when I booked it online and I am glad they gave it. Going to my room, I saw the Fitness room which is available 24 hours and the Pool and Spa room which is I think open from 10am to 10pm. The room is huge! The bathroom as well! I have been to many Best Western hotels in the country but this one is exceptional! It can be compared to The Peppermill Hotel in Reno and The Wynn Hotel in Las Vegas. Seriously! The room has krueg coffee, microwave and a bigger than usual fridge. The TV is nice too. I am sharing photos, you may want to check it out. When you are in Bend, Oregon, stay in Best Western Premiere. You will surely love this place.
