Best Western Plus Le Fairway Hotel & Spa Golf d'Arras

We stayed her on our way to Italy. Very quiet, comfortable beds. We had to go into the nearby town of Arras to have something to eat as the kitchens were closed on a Sunday evening.

Travelling from the Alps to the UK, but with no planned reservation, we started to look for a suitable night stop hotel. I guess we're used to BnBs, Ibis, or that type of hotel, but on this trip we wanted somewhere a bit less basic, not on a motorway interchange and with secure and guaranteed parking. The Best Western fitted the bill, especially as it was just 10 minutes off the A28, so might have a similar appeal to other travellers looking for a smarter night-stop, leaving a short drive the next morning for Le Shuttle or the ferry. We completed our booking through booking.com just as we pulled into the hotel's car park. I can only really comment on two aspects: dinner and the room. That said, check-in was friendly and efficient, and we were advised that we would be able to have a full dinner, despite arriving just 30 minutes before the 9PM closing time. We took dinner on the outside terrace; it was a warm summer evening and a pleasant place to dine overlooking the golf course. Service was excellent, and a very relaxed ambience as we enjoyed a very nice meal. The room was also excellent. Much larger than the usual night-stop accomodation, very well appointed, spotlessly clean and a very comfortable bed to afford a great night's sleep. And quiet. Wifi was very good. There is much more to this hotel, but as a night-stop, definitely a cut above the usual. Now we've found it, I sense we will be using it again.

Nice views of golf course Stay was ruined by no sleep as room was like a furnace too hot , was informed you can't turn the heat off as it's set for whole hotel in winter mode !

This is a lovely hotel with rooms facing the golf course and lakes. We had interconnecting rooms which was so convenient. Very clean rooms, good bathrooms with excellent showers. Lovely comfortable beds with white sheets. We had supper the night we arrived and it was very good. I still remember the wonderful piece of grilled meat. Service slightly slow, but very nice waiter particularly with the children. Good breakfast. Great place for golfers or fir stop overs. Dog friendly. Unfortunately, it was fully booked on our return trip.

Sunday evening arrival to find the towns boy racers monopolising the bar .. no food available after 6pm!!! Seriously a hotel with no food. Except a cold sandwich. Had to order pizza from town which arrives stone cold! Very dissatisfied with this hotel Zero response from management having said we were misled in the booking The Spa closes at 8pm until 10am!!! 10 am! So no chance of a swim before breakfast 😩

Stayed for one night and found it ideal for a stopover. Not too far of a detour from the motorway and I'm sure there is a lovely view but as we arrived in the dark and left in the dark we sadly didn't get to appreciate it. One thing I will say is there is no restaurant on a Sunday night this being said the bar snacks looked nice and they are very chilled about ordering in. We ordered from a fantastic pizza place called Bella Rossa! Gym is small but functional enough. Plenty of parking available and staff very friendly!

Very nice clean room with friendly helpful staff. They offered a free spa treatment but they were all booked up so we didn't get the opportunity to do that. They also gave a free drink. We also had dinner there which was good service. Average price. Lots of food. When we were leaving went to the pro shop and the golf pro asked if we'd like to tour the course so he put us all in the cart and showed us around. Beautiful course We'd definitely stay there again

Very comfortable hotel on the outskirts of Arras. Rooms are clean and well furnished . Good bathroom with walk in shower. Bed was comfortable and linen was high quality. Breakfast was very good and offered a choice of items, fresh orange juice a bonus. Bar area is attractive with views over the golf course. Would have given 5 stars but lack of WiFi was a big problem. We could not get WiFi in our room, we told reception but were told nothing could be done about it. Wi fi is essential for many nowadays, we needed it to book further accommodation, shuttle and for planning onward travel and had to go elsewhere to do this.

Modern, very well appointed and comfortable, this 4* hotel overlooks its golf course. It is located just outside the historic town of Arras (like Brussels, but much nicer) and convenient for WW1 venues like Wellington Quarries, the CWGC visitor centre and Vimy Ridge Canadian memorial - all highly recommended. The car park has plenty of room, with level access and well marked bays suitable for wide cars. The hotel bar and restaurant are excellent with a good selection of beers and wine. The food is excellent (but not cheap) and breakfast is comprehensive.
