The room smelled so bad we asked to be moved to new room. That room smelled just as bad as the first one. We ended up having to check out three hours after we checked in because the room smelled so bad and we didn't get a refund. Very disappointed. I would not recommend anyone staying.
Very clean motel with everything you need for a short or longer term stay. The reception staff members were excellent. Excellent location right off of I75. Bed was very comfortable. Highly recommended. The breakfast was much better than in other hotels. They offered a nice quality sausage, eggs that tasted and felt like real eggs, waffles, bread, gravy, coffee and juices. Also fresh fruit. Other quests were friendly and well mannered.
We stayed here for a quick overnight & although it is a motel, it was clean, quiet & comfy. There is breakfast but we didn't try it. It is an older facility, but they seem to take good care of it & keep it clean (I hate nasty feeling carpet…it was good!). I'd stay again!
Price was great for a king room. Convenient - just off I-75. Staff very pleasant. However, this property is highly used and in need of a renovation. Our room (176) had the usual hotel odor, but the worst of it was the bathroom ceiling was rampant with MOLD! This room should be remediated before renting it out! Carpet in need of replacement. Door had large gap between it and the frame.
This is super convenient to the expressway when traveling. They do offer a hot breakfast which was your typical motel fare. We would stay again while traveling.
We were sold a room that was not handicap accessible as requested. We were physically unable to use the room. Couldn't get wheelchair past the door and they refuse to refund the money. Best Western customer service also refused to help. We had to leave and go pay another $250 for a room we could use.
helpful front desk. great breakfast. not much hot water in 1 of tthe 2 rooms we had. a little pricey for an average room.
Reasonably priced quiet and very clean place to stay outside of Atlanta. Grounds well kept. Plush linens. Lots of eateries nearby. Older motel but well maintained. No noise or partying going on. Coffee maker was broken but there was coffee in the Lobby.
Easy access off of HWY 75 , excellent price, very clean, very comfortable, all staff very personable, breakfast included and was quite substancial.
The hotel's fine, convenient, right next to I-75. The customer service is a nightmare. I was there one night. The following night, about an hour away, I realize I don't have my driver's license. I call the hotel immediately and happen to speak with the person who checked me in the night before who says I left it at the front desk, she tried to call my room to tell me, but I didn't answer. First of all, after I unloaded my car, I never left my room. Phone never rang. But, second of all, why was that the only attempt to let me know I'd left my license with you? I'm right upstairs. You're not busy. OR, if you can't leave the lobby, leave a note so that whoever checks me out in the morning can give it to me. I'm told to call a few days later to ask the manager about mailing it to me (supposedly he's the only one who can, and that makes sense). I call, he finds it and says he'll send it. Super. Awesome. Several days later, no license. I call back to see if maybe he forgot and am assured by him that he'd sent it. Several more days pass, no license. I call back one last time and speak with someone else who checks and says my license IS STILL THERE. I call the manager the next day who assures me he sent it and what that other clerk saw was a copy of my license. Which, that alone felt weird. Why is a copy of my license just hanging around? I didn't ask, but I did follow up when I could with the person who said it was still there. I straight-up asked her, "Was it my actual license or a copy of my license?" She said it was the actual license. She has zero reason to lie. This whole experience is so dumbfounding, I can't believe I'm even typing about it. This could've been resolved on night ONE, while I was STILL THERE. When that didn't happen, just mail the license, or at least don't lie about mailing the license. It'll be about $30 and 2-3 more weeks to wait on a replacement, which sucks, but that's not even the point. The point is how easy this was to resolve, and it wasn't. Beyond that, being told different things depending on who I talked to has been ridiculous.
The room itself was clean, modern, and spacious, with all the amenities I needed for a comfortable stay. The bed was incredibly comfortable, and I had a great night's sleep during my entire stay. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with plush towels and high-quality toiletries. The location of the hotel was perfect for me, as it was close to the lake and within easy driving distance of local attractions and restaurants.Overall, I was thoroughly impressed with my stay at the Best Western . The combination of excellent service, comfortable accommodations, and great amenities made for a truly memorable experience. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the Acworth area."
Very clean and very friendly staff. Hotel is right off the highway but you don't hear any of the road noise. There are a lot of restaurants close by. The breakfast is simple but hot and clean. They have a small pool and an area for dogs
The Acworth Best Western was a nice clean affordable hotel. We only stayed one night but the room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. Nice place to stay if you are just looking for a room to rest while you are travelling.
We had a large motel room, nicely decorated, and clean. We parked our car right in front of our room which made loading and unloading our luggage easy. Breakfast was free and plentiful with numerous things to enjoy. The wifi worked nicely (we watched netflix on our laptop). The location was right off I-75 north of Atlanta, with numerous restaurants and stores nearby. The room was quiet because the interstate is well below the motel. Check in was super fast (less than 3 minutes). This motel is great for travelling.
The staff at this hotel were amazing very accommodating. Our rooms were clean. The continental breakfast is awesome. They have ice machines and washer and dryer on site. They also have charging stations for your electric cars. The next time we are in this area, we will be coming back to this location The owner, Jay is amazing
This motel is clean and comfortable, with a minimum of traffic noise. The check in staff were friendly and professional. Our only problem was with breakfast…we were in the dining area half an hour before closing and they were out of eggs, biscuits, and hot tea water. Disappointing.
Worst sleep ever in hotel...poor bed, small white squares they called pillows...this is a tired old place...skimpy looking breakfast, terrible coffee, we just went to mcdonalds next door...going downhill fast according to neighbor who has stayed in past only because pet friendly...we won't be back...tough to get back into hotel from one way roads...
One amazing experience! First of all, very friendly front desk staff. I am a bit of a snob when it comes to safe, clean, hotels. This hotel room was spotless, you could've eaten off the floor. The shower was by far the best shower in any hotel around the world I have ever stayed in. Great pressure, hot water, excellent toiletries available. I would definitely stay here again if I were to be in the area. A great place to lay your head down for a good nights sleep. Very comfortable beds, Great price for a great place. Excellent job to the crew at this hotel!
Was a very nice stay and family enjoyed the pool. I would definitely stay there again if I'm close to that hotel. Breakfast was good and had restaurants close by. It was also close to my family so that was great.
Check in staff were AWOL upon arrival. The bill is wrong. Hotel told me it was a Corporate error (not the hotel's fault). That is not true according to IHG (whom I believe). The room had a bad odor and came with roaches (the small ones). We killed 3 in 2 days. We left a day early because my wife could not stand it. Breakfast was forgettable.
Very nice rooms with confy beds. Not too big of a room but very nice for the price. Breakfast was good with scramble eggs, bacon, biscuit and gravy. Waffle maker, lots of breakfast cereal choices, coffee and fruitjuice available. Personnel was nice and the area is quite at night.
I recognize that this hotel is $100/night. But after checking in during the afternoon the next morning we woke up to no hot water. When we asked about it they to us 10-15 min. Over an hour later we had hot water. The next day we had no running water. No warning either day. The following day one of our rooms had no power. While the front desk said all the "nice" words when you check into a hotel the expectation is running water, hot water, clean sheets and towels, clean room. After asking several times about running water and hot water we finally had to ask for a discount on our rooms. With hot, sweaty baseball players it was unpleasant for a couple of days. The whole situation should have been managed better. Give your occupants notice of temporarily no running water.
I was pleased with the cleanliness & comfort of the beds. NOT ONE BUG WHICH IS HUGE TO ME. A little overpriced but may have been due to things going on in Atlanta that weekend. Pool was clean, nice. Would return
It's a safe, clean place to rest while driving the length of I75. Nothing fancy, but relatively clean and staff is pleasant and helpful. Arrived late after being chased by tornado and was easy motel in and out.
Great staff. Friendly and very helpful. Clean maintained pool and facilities. New charging stations for your little electric car. Honestly a very nice clean safe stay at a place where you can tell they care..
Stayed here due to close proximity to family in the area. We were here to attend a retirement ceremony and having something budget friendly was nice in addition to the location. Right off the highway, but no road noise which was nice. Lots of access to food and other amenities close by. Only real complaint was the A/C unit was a bit noisier than I would have liked and bathroom in our room was a bit "tight", but room was clean and staff at desk very friendly and helpful. Oh, and it is PET FRIENDLY which means our next visit we can bring our dog with us instead of having to board her.....added bonus!
Rooms clean, staff very friendly and accommodating! Price great. Convenient-right off the highway. Breakfast could be just a bit better but served its purpose. In a great location near stores and restaurants!
We usually stay here on our way to Florida. The facility is showing it's age; but is still good for tired travellers to crash/sleep and head onward. Our front desk lady was great and the breakfast far exceeded my expectations by serving Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches on crossaints. It is also a smart business decision, eliminating a lot of hot trays and waste!
For a traveler with a distant destination, this was the perfect place to stop. A modest motel close to the freeway. The room was clean, amenities (eco friendly dispensers: soaps, shampoo and conditioner) nice covered walkway to get to the front office, enough plug ins for the many devices with which we travel. The staff were welcoming and helpful. Basically, we could tell that thought went into meeting the needs and comfort of a weary traveler. Restaurants and stores within walking distance.
This property checked off all the boxes for a great overnight stay: 1. Easy on/off the interstate 2 ample well lit parking with areas to park a vehicle with a trailer. 3. Comfortable beds. 4. And most importantly, impeccably CLEAN. Our room was spotless. Well appointed with soap/shampoo dispensers in the shower, fresh white towels and nice bed linens. I have this bookmarked and we will definitely stay here again when traveling through this area of GA.
This hotel is right off the highway and close to restaurants. The room was clean and the breakfast was just enough to get you going in the morning. Front desk staff was very helpful and extremely courteous.
Slow to no Internet service in room and I was on business Had to use cellular data for connection, breakfast selection was good, room was clean, excellent room service for bed and towels, Very friendly and attentive staff
My room smelled like urine and the shower curtain smelled like soured laundry. The only good experience I had was the front desk. Kaye was a very sweet lady. It seems like Best Westerns upkeep on their properties have gone down hill. Time to try another hotel chain.
Very clean, nice staff, convenient safe quiet location, skimpy breakfast. They didn't have the typical biscuits and gravy, eggs. Had a Jimmy Dean equivalent of an Sausage McMuffin as well as fruit and cereal. Milk was fresh and orange juice was good. I would certainly go back again.
The hotel looked nothing like the photos it was not worth the price and not very clean the front desk were rude except for Kay she was helpful and no I wouldn't stay here again we were there for a basketball ball tournament the beds were not queen and they advertised they were queen beds the laundry only had one washing machine working bugs were on the floor not clean at all.
Staff was rude cleaning service was promptat cleaning the room at 11am was told I had till 11:30 but God forbid not 11:31 with two children 5 & 8 it's a struggle anyway ever threatened to be charged for additional charges
Quoted $128. Charged $162. Held room on one card and when checking out paid with another. BW charged both cards! I believe this to be the case because of the rude front desk employee not listening to my request when I checked in. Asked him for restaurants in the area that delivered...he told me to google it. Another employee with him tried to give me brochures/coupons for dining and he shut her down. We called back later and she was able to help us out with the brochures. Front desk employee fixed the double-billing issue the next morning, however, I still was charged more than what I reserved on the BW app.
This was our second stay in this motel. We stayed in a 2 bed room for 1 night while driving home from Florida. We love the convenience of backing the car right up to the door of our room for easy unloading. Also, because if the direct access to the outside, it's possible to air out the room, an extra safety measure in these Covid times. There's nothing fancy about the room, but the beds are comfortable and everything is clean. The staff was very friendly. We always travel with a small white noise machine, so the highway traffic sounds were not a problem for us.
very basic, clean but dated, my $89 room was nearly $150 w pet fee and taxes. The room was facing the highway was not quiet. while walking the dog i noticed a sign in the back for deerfield lodge. Apparently- the back half of the motel is operated as Deerfield lodge@$44 a night. Walked the dog back there and it was definitely beyond sketchy. The reviews of that motel were not good. While leaving i noticed several homeless looking people walking out of the deerfield lodge area. That being said the Best Western side was well lit and maintained. It was convenient off the highway.
Excellent location-easy off/on expressway. Staff is professional and friendly. Have stayed here many times due to those qualities. Have told many friends about this Best Western and they have stayed here as well.
Very basic small room. Nothing special here. But the room was clean. Breakfast had the bare essentials to get the day started. Good location off the highway. A bit dumpy on the outside but adequate if you're not spending much time at the motel.
We stayed in a 2 double bed unit. The beds are so small but it worked for one night. Wouldn't want to stay longer than that unless I had a king bed or even a queen. Doubles are just so small for adults. The room was clean. We only grabbed coffee on our way out but it looked like breakfast items were somewhat limited. Perhaps due to covid. We were disappointed to find there was no hot tub, despite TA stating there was one. Overall, it was fine for an overnight stop. It was clean and that's the most important thing to me.
We stayed here for a few hours on our way home from Florida. We booked online at the last minute and because of the low price didn't have high expectations. We were pleasantly surprised! We arrived just before midnight and Jake got us checked in very quickly. He couldn't have been any nicer! It's not fancy but the rooms are very clean and smell wonderful. There are plenty of pillows and the bed is very comfortable. This is a hotel with outside doors which I don't usually care for but the parking lot was full and we felt safe even so late at night. There was breakfast but we left to early (before 6) to enjoy it. Don't overlook this hotel when traveling!!
My stay at Best Western in Acworth was extremely comfortable. I slept well in a cozy bed. I was surprised at how quiet it was given the location and how close they are to the interstate and at such a busy intersection. The only downside was that there are no elevators, so I would pack light to avoid lugging a lot of luggage upstairs. Otherwise I was very comfortable with my stay with my stay.
We needed to get a good night sleep and leave very early; but needed a good start with an acceptable breakfast. Our room was clean and everything in working order. We requested a 05:30 wake up call and it happened as requested. our plan was to eat breakfast and be on the road by 06:10 and the staff made that happened. The only downside would be for light sleepers; this facility is right off I-75.
It is very conveniently located near I-75 and stores and food. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, breakfast was basic, staff was pleasant. AC/heat is loud and drowns out the TV. The insulation or building construction leaves a lot to be desired. I was on the first floor. Someone in the room above me sounded like Bigfoot, and their floor creaked too. It sounded like there was no carpet on the floor as they kept dropping things. When someone in one of the adjoining rooms turned on their shower or tub, it sounded like they were in my room. Overall, it was a good stay.
Front desk clerk Stacey was very nice. Rooms are reasonably priced and very clean and comfortable, including the carpet. Comfortable bed and fluffy pillows. TV, microwave, refrigerator, in room coffee, ironing board and blow dryer. Bathroom was clean and plenty of towels. We got rooms on the first floor that were adjoining because we traveled with my parents. Breakfast was good. The only draw back was interstate noise but we fell asleep quickly. Great place to stop.
Enjoyed the fact that entrances were on the outside. Room was very comfortable and it is great that BW offer a Fridge and Microwave in their rooms. Beds were comfortable and updated Flat Screen TV. Parking next to your room.
Appears newly renovated. Pleasant and efficient front desk staff. Clean room, comfortable bed, excellent internet, room was quiet, ample hot water for shower. Breakfast included hot selections as well as fruit and cereal. Served 6 AM to 9 AM Good value.
We had no issues with the hotel or staff. The hotel is older and has been remodeled. The room was clean and had comfortable beds, we also appreciate that the hotel is pet friendly. Just off the interstate 75 and the room was quiet.
Nice place however beware, if you have bad knees or knee replacements like me the toilet is lie sitting on the floor. REALLY low. One of the smallest bathrooms I have seen. Shower was hot tho. Nice variety of breakfast items. Front desk clerk really nice.
This was a Saturday night stay Easy access to the interstate.. We didn't need a fancy place to stay, just a good bed, clean conditions, internet, a microwave and mini fridge. We didn't have any noise problems. We were on the 2nd floor and didn't mind not having an elevator. We got what weneeded.
Coming home from a trip, booked a room last minute. The trip advisor messed up and double booked the same room for the same night. Best Western claims we have to talk to trip advisor. Trip advisor is refusing to do anything about it. Got ripped off and I'm not sure who to blame. Will not be using either ever again.
Room was very clean. Bathroom was newly renovated. Looked like new carpet also. The cleanest room we have stayed in lately. Breakfast was okay considering Covid. Lady at the front desk Saturday told us a boys baseball team was staying there and put us away from them in case they were noisey. Plenty of restaurants and stores right there also.
While driving from Indiana to Florida, we needed a room for one night. The Best Western was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff was friendly and efficient. The beds were super comfortable- a must after driving 13 hours. There are plenty of restaurants nearby, including a McDonalds in walking distance.
Stayed with my boys for a baseball tournament. Excellent location from lake point. Rooms were very clean, comfortable, and everything worked as it should. The desk was very nice and hospitable. Breakfast had cereal, yogurt, microwavable breakfast sandwiches, muffins, etc. No waffles or eggs but very pleased with options given what some hotels serve these days. Only negative is that they don't have the pool opened yet.
it's an old school, just off the highway, overnite stay type Motel. Nothing fancy. Few amenities. Pool was closed and breakfast was minimal, probably due to Covid. Overall, it was fine. No issues with room or staff.
No available bathroom in lobby--stated broken! When traveling you expect bathrooms at hotels available. I asked staff what they do, states "we hold it" The room was clean and quiet. No lid for ice bucket--staff states 'no lids available" No hot breakfast!!
This is a great hotel we stayed at passing through Atlanta. From the moment we got there the staff was very friendly and helpful, first impressions often go along way with hotel staff. The room was very clean and had everything we needed. With comfortable beds, coffee maker, microwave and fridge and you can't beat the price. We stayed at another Best Western up in TN the night before that was awful this place definitely restored my faith in the Best Western brand. Other than the TN location we have been pleased with the Best Western we stayed at in MT, FL and GA. Another great plus if you have time passing thru take a stroll downtown Acworth. They have a few nice restaurants and shops along there, unlike some of the areas in Atlanta we visited it was very safe and friendly. Would definitely stay here again.
One night stay..First off older style motel/hotel, outside entry doors. As we entered the room, immediately struck by the smell of stale smoke masked by some cleaning agent smell, not good. Room is basic, fairly clean. Except for a nasty looking stain on the bed cover. Just never felt comfortable here, not sure exactly, just a bad vibe. Has to be better places in the area to stay. Wont stay here again.
Clean. Nothing over the top but good for the price. The rooms are fairly large for a basic hotel. Getting in the parking lot can be tricky but we figured out you can go around the backside to a side road entrance/exit where it's much easier.
Outdated, worn out and beyond repair. Toilet is small, round and close to the floor. No room in bathroom to reach or move. Reaching for toilet paper is a chore. Dog park was kept nicer than the rooms. Very spacious and offered waste bags and receptacle.
The room was clean but smelled musty. Due to COVID-19 they had a grab & go breakfast which consisted of applesauce cup, a cheese danish, a bottle of water, & a granola bar .Right off the highway which was very convenient. LOts of restaurants to go to.
We stayed here for one night. We were thoroughly impressed by the cleanliness of the room! The glass light fixture above the bathroom sink was actually sparkling! That's an area that is frequently missed in most rooms. Kudos to the cleaning staff! Front desk was very helpful with options for eating, etc. We would definitely stay here again!
Check-in was fast a friendly. Room was very clean and comfortable. Only thing I was unsatisfied with is when I booked online with my rewards number I could not use my government discount and the checkin employee at front desk said I could not use it because I booked through a third party which I did not. It was late and raining I was tired so I did not push the issue.
Older motel but recently updated. Mattresses were firm, but comfy. Room was clean and included a microwave & mini refrigerator. No breakfast being served right now due to Covid. You can walk to the McDonald's right next door.
This Best Western is an older motor lodge. Rooms open to the parking lot. The decor was fine and it appeared well cleaned. However, there were patches in the ceiling, and the air conditioning unit seemed old. I had concerns about what might be circulating in the air, like mold or bacteria. I have allergies and didn't breath well. There is some traffic noise.
Jt at front desk is a rude little dude ... That needs manners.... And for some reason loves to charge towels and hand towels bc housekeeping cant wash them ... Which i find hard to believe... 100 dollars for dirty towels ... What do they wash with ... Or do they even wash..
There is nothing to recommend about this hotel. My son and I stayed two nights for his baseball showcase. The male hotel clerk never wore a mask (the two women did). The toilet clogged almost immediately. The staff was very unhelpful. Housekeeping banged on the door early on the morning we were checking out. Give it a miss.
The employees at this location are terrible. They stole my money, they made a reservation when I asked them not to, and when I came to report the problem of me being charged the general manager called me a liar.
Very pleased to confirm the reviews for this property are accurate. We enjoyed a quick 1 night stay while heading north from Florida. Rate was acceptable, room clean and staff welcoming. We were pleased with our pick up dinner based on front desk referral. We would definitely include this stop during our next north-south trip.
Reasonable prices. Excellent staff. Nice rooms opening out into the private parking lot, which was well lit & seemed safe and secure. This will be our go-to hotel for future trips North. Rebecca checked us in with a smile late last night, accommodating our request for a ground floor room. We chose amenity points over a snack - we concurred with her when she said they last longer. We got our king size bed, which was comfortable, and the room was dark and quiet for a good night's sleep. The fridge was extra cold, which I liked since I had cold packs that needed to be kept frozen. We didn't use the microwave, but we used the flat screen TV that had more channels than we needed. The shower was perfect. Towels were soft and absorbent. Hair dryer worked perfectly. We didn't use the coffee pot. We had a table & 2 chairs, and a window AC/heat unit. The room was a good size, and husband had only one minor criticism - toilet/shower room seemed small. Room temperature was ideal. The breakfast buffet had everything we wanted: OJ & apple juice, coffees (decaf & regular), hot teas, oatmeal (toppings included raisins, coconut, nuts, & more), yogurts, cereals (4 kinds with 2 kinds of milk in 2 pitchers), breads, pastries, bagels, scrambled eggs, biscuits/gravy, and more! The staff was constantly cleaning up after each guest ate, with smiles & efficiency. We had a good breakfast. Kent checked us out - friendly and efficient. We took a USA TODAY to read later. Took one last night, too, for bedtime reading. Nice to see the newspaper for guests. Please keep them in the future.
The man who checked us in on the evening of Feb. 29 was exceptionally friendly and very helpful. We appreciated the ground level access to our 1st floor room. It's great to be able to park right outside your door rather than having to haul your things through lobby. The beds were firm, which we prefer. The room, while not overly large, was comfortable and very clean. Breakfast was more than adequate, with the only significant issue being that the room was fairly small. We simply brought our breakfast back to our room. It's important to be aware that the 2nd floor rooms appear to be accessible only by an outdoor stairway. If that's a concern for you, I advise checking with the hotel in advance. (Perhaps there's an elevator that I didn't see)
First, this hotel is right off the exit ramp and easy to get back on the interstate when leaving. Check in and Check out were simple and quick. The bed was comfortable and great water pressure in the shower. I was very pleased with the breakfast. The room was kept clean and the food containers full. There was enough variety for a big breakfast as well as items for someone on the run. There is also a wide selection of restaurants in the area. I really enjoyed my stay at this Best Western and would not hesitate to stay again if in the area!
Wanted to get to the north side of Atlanta to avoid morning rush hour in the city. It was 2:30 am by the time I got to the area. I called the hotel, a room was available (and since I signed up prior for the BW program I received a discount on my room and a free night!) I was in my room sound asleep by 3 am. Other than highway noise which is unavoidable being so close to the exit off Rt. 75 my bed was comfy and the room clean. Breakfast buffet had a very good selection.
Traveling to Florida and stopped here with my dog and I to rest for the night. Great hotel with outdoor entrance to room and lots of choices to eat all around it. The breakfast was wonderful! You definitely leave with a full belly. The bed was great, hadn't slept that good in a long time. Would love to know what kind it was?!? Nice outdoor area for my Miniature King Cavalier Spaniel to run after a long drive and have some play time before leaving. No complaints here!
Excellent value, including breakfast, and and location as we make our way south to visit friends. Probably will stay there on the way home. Despite the rainy weather and the cold conditions, the overall stay was very pleasant, shielded from most of the highway noise (especially when inside). Evan better, a dog park was nearby.
This location is convenient and just off the interstate. I stay here not just for the really fair pricing, its the location, the local eateries, the comfort of the room, and more so, the staff. I stay here often while in town on business. This is the only location I will stay at. The staff makes the trip feel like home. They are kind and welcoming. The Included breakfast is always great as well as giving me a great start to the day. Thank you and a huge high 5 to this location and staff
We arrived late and left early, so didn't really take advantage of anything. Our room was clean, but this is an older property and room open to outside, prefer inside entrances. Front desk was friendly, and we just grabbed a quick muffin and yogurt, and left in the morning.
We stayed at this hotel after having driven 600 miles (almost 1000km) in one day. The room was nice and large, and suitably appointed. However, most of the rooms face the noisy I-75 highway, so we asked to be moved. The second room was only moderately better. There was a gap between the threshhold and the door through which light could enter, and, so could some of the noise. The breakfast wasn't anything special either.
Great place to stop on the way to the National Corvette Museum. Several eating places within walking distance. They also provide a nice breakfast in the morning prior to departure. This place was great because the hotel was almost 100% corvette owners that were overnight for the caravan.
Quite and comfortable and just off the highway. Very affordable with nice hot breakfast. Easy to find and McDonald s just next door. We will stay again as the people were very pleasant and accommodating.
Comfortable bed. Small rooms. Road traffic noise all night. Small bathroom. No grab bars. Handicapped churn breakdown is at least 2" higher than pavement so inaccessible for scooters or motorized wheelchairs.
We stayed at Best Westerns about 8 times over the last 2 months and this was one of the best values of our stays out west and south except that there was a very musty odor in the room. The breakfast was better than usual hotel food having fresh fruit and yogurt with toppings etc. The hotel is conveniently located and easy to get on the interstate so there is lots of traffic nearby. The noise didn't bother us though
My wife and I stayed here as a convenient half way point on our trip. The room was clean and comfortable. The breakfast was standard two star fare. This hotel is surrounded by restaurants, gas stations and convenience stores. The location off of the I-75 is convenient as well, though It is wise to use the McDonald's property to get in and out of the hotel parking lot. Folks if you want a decent budget hotel with clean comfortable rooms, this is a good one. I find too many reviewers want to pay two star rates and get four star accommodations.
was an older facility....thought the hotel was from the 60's. very clean not as comfortable as other best western facility. pool closed during a heat wave. was looking forward to using pool-look great
Excellent staff attentive to guests. Nice to park immediately adjacent to our room made settling in for the night easy. Lots of service choices nearby. Easy departure with quick access onto the interstate.
Great location. Beds were very comfortable. Location is good for shopping as well as food. The only problem is it is tough to get into the parking lot from the side entrance. It was clean, Staff helpful
Two-story hotel without an elevator, but main floor rooms that you can pull your car right up to which is our favorite type of hotel. Located immediately off the Interstate, but not noisy. We didn't check out the outdoor pool, but it looked nice from the other end of the property. Landscaping was maintained properly and everything outside appears to be well maintained. The room smelled a little bit mildewy when we first arrived. Unfortunately, we've come to expect that almost universally in main-floor hotel rooms in the South, but it wasn't bad and seemed to improve. One thing we liked is that there were separate switches for the light and the fan in the bathroom and the fan wasn't loud and obnoxious. Also, the lighting in the sink area was much better (brighter) than we've come to expect in hotels everywhere. Roomy, attractive breakfast room with lots of options. Amazingly, the scrambled eggs were seasoned nicely and weren't rubbery. I booked the room online in the car about 4 hours before we got there and used points, so I don't know how much the room normally costs. Check-in was easy.
From the check-in to breakfast to the room to the location to the price to the employees to the checkout... AWESOME EXPERIENCE!!! You won't be disappointed! We will most definitely be back because of the super comfy stay that's more than affordable!!
Spent the weekend while visiting family, located right off rte 75 very easy to find. Rooms were clean, front desk very attentive and the buffet breakfast had plenty of choices. Rooms are a little older but everything worked. Lots of food and shopping options close by
Super clean rooms with coffee maker, refrigerator, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, outdoor swimming pool, laundry washer and dryer, comfortable bed, parking outside room, great hot breakfast and super staff!
Having been through the area many times, we were aware that hotels were pricey and spotty. We read the reviews and booked Best Western Acworth. I'm sure it is largely overlooked because it is outdoor corridor, but true to the review it was sparkling clean and comfortable. The staff was kind and accommodating. They even had gluten free items at the complimentary breakfast, which was sufficient with both hot and cold items. Coming through, we would choose to stop here again.
This is a nice hotel just outside of Atlanta. The check in process was easy with the clerk matching the deal on the Best Western web site. The breakfast was filling with both hot foods and cereal and pastries. The room was clean and well sized.
We found this Best Western next to I-75, and we stayed here as a stopover during our road trip. The 2 Queen room was OK, comfy and clean. The breakfast was above average and the pool was nice. Very friendly reception. Enough parking.
We only stayed one night and that was fine. It was very clean and it seems that it was renovated from years ago. It's the kind of hotel where the rooms are on the outside. It was a little noisy since we were on the lower parking lot level. The breakfast didn't look too appetizing, as the eggs looked odd, so we just had some yogurt and a banana. The coffee was good. The air conditioning controls were tricky and most likely needed repair.
The room and things in it looked old, but it was clean and adequate overall. The continental breakfast lacked variety, but the food that was there was fine. The location was nice and close to the highway. Lots of free parking.
The Motel was easy excess off of the Interstate, Lobby was very nice to sit and visit with a friend that stopped by. Rooms were nice with good beds. Linen was above avg. Breakfast was the normal with pastries and cereal. You can make your own pancakes. LOL
We only stated one night. The staff at the front desk was very nice and professional. The room was clean and stocked with necessary items. If you want ice or the vending machine and your in the back building it can be a little bit of a walk. Breakfast was satisfying, with something for most everyone.
Made us feel real welcome. Room was very clean and Service was up to par. Complementary Breakfast was just as great. Just off of I-75. Close to an Urgent Care facility which we needed badly before we moved on.
We were driving home from Florida with our boat behind us and needed a hotel with boat/RV parking. We were pleasantly surprised by this Best Western. Front desk staff were cheerful and a pleasure to deal with. The landscaping outdoors was very nice with lots of flowering shrubs that were nicely pruned. Entrance to the rooms was through outside doors which was convenient to us rather than having to walk down long hallways carrying our luggage. We were given a room on the ground floor with parking nearby. Our room (180) was a bit dated but clean. The 2 beds were comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small and the tiles weren't all installed fully but it served its purpose. Breakfast included a station with hot biscuits, eggs and sausage, yogurt, breads, buns, pancakes, juice, coffee and a variety of teas including 2 different green teas. It was a Wednesday morning and just a few people were there. Hubby had forgotten to tell them that he was a Best Western rewards member, but when I checked out, they confirmed that they had already applied the points to his account. Good place to stay for a night for a reasonable price and location right off the highway.
1st time staying at this particular Best Western on my trip back from Florida. Will return next year on my same trip back from Florida. Very satisfied with staff, my room, overall of appearance inside and out of facility and breakfast. It was also easy on and off I-75
We haveing been staring here for the past 7 years and couldn't feel more at home..staff is well knowledge, friendly and the family atmosphere flows. Rooms are comfortable and includes fridge, iron and ironingboard, small coffeemaker, hairdryer, and super comfortable beds for a great night's sleep. Wake-up to a great breakfast and you're on you're way. From gravy and buscuits, eggs & sausage , to pancakes with all the toppings to cold cereal and oatmeal to sweet rolls, yogurt, bagels and juices, you won't leave hungry!
nice Hotel, very friendly and helpful staff, good breakfast and very good WiFi. Also the location to the I-75 is very convenient. Plus we liked the part were the rooms are on the outside, so it was easy to bring the suitcases into the room.
We have stayed here multiple times and find it consistently excellent. Well kept, renovated older property conveniently located. Good restaurants close, chains and locals. We plan our Nort to south and return trips to allow a stay in Acworth.
Our second visit on our way to Florida. Great hotel and beautiful area! Beds are very comfy? Clean and we'll decorated. Breakfast was delicious with lots of choice. WiFi works great. Very good restaurants in the area also.
This property is right off the express way and on a one way street which make it a little of a hassle. The property is clean and well cared for. The room are standard size but well appointed. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast had limited choices but was hot and tasty. The beds were comfortable and the software was clean and fresh. Well worth the stay!
Pleasant stay. Clean friendly and a reasonable breakfast at a good price. Recommended for a stay. Town nearby looks quaint but was Sunday night and they rolled up the sidewalks. Give it a try if you aren't looking for fancy but clean and safe.
Excellent in every way especially customer service. Rooms are clean and roomy. Excellent for traveling with dogs. Property is clean with spacious area for walking dogs. Breakfast has good choices. Easy on and off from I-75. Our favorite Best Western.
Quick stop for a MTB race in Acworth. Arrive around 10pm and the front desk (both evening and morning) were friendly. I didn't realize this was like a motel style (not a typical hotel/enclosed hallways. If I had seen pictures of the outside, I probably would not had stayed here. I could have done a better job looking for pics, but we were tired from a 2hr 30 min ride & I didn't do a good job in checking it out. The room worked for a quick place to sleep, but a few things noticed: 1. The floor in between a bed and the little table/chairs was all bumpy and uneven underneath the carpet. 2. Complimentary shampoo bottle was open (had to go to guest services to get a replacement.) 3. Room and bathroom felt very cramped. 4. Breakfast was meh. The breakfast room space felt cramped. 4. Worst thing was when we turned the air on, it smelled like urine. My husband said it had a chemical smell and wasn't urine, but I am not sure. M
We stayed one night on our way to Florida. Housekeeping did a nice job as our room was clean. Just what you need for one night. The hotel is located right off I-75. We could hear the trucks because our room faced the highway. We didn't have the breakfast because the room was full and the hostess couldn't keep up with the demand. So we went next door to McDonald's.
I arrived having attempted to reserve rooms ahead, but my reservation did not go thru. The person at the desk was new, but handled the situation like a pro. In the morning , the person at the desk was also maintaining the breakfast area. She did both with a great attitude and friendly face. There are plenty of places to eat within a short distance.
Good stopping place for winter snowbirds returning from Florida. The motel is dated, but the room has been updated with newer carpeting and nice granite sink/mirror area. Shower and toilet area are very small, but hey, I only shower in there! The beds were SUPER comfortable with nice double sheeted linens. Bath towels were large, white and plentiful. Breakfast was fresh with enough choices. There were many people having breakfast at 7 am and it was difficult to maneuver in the dining area, but we were early so managed to nab a table and be on our way in less than a half hour. Aside from the very noisy location next to the interstate (turn your fan on for white noise) I would recommend this lodging.
Best Western is our hotel of choice due mainly to its convenient locations throughout the US and the quality and comfort of the rooms. This one in Acworth was no exception. The bed was comfortable, room was spacious and clean. Breakfast was quite good including the coffee.
This is a Best Western I would never stay at again. I am an avid user of BW and expect something better then a glorified Motel 6 or Best Value Inn. They had no handicap rooms left when we checked in. If i had not made a reservation ahead of time I would have left and found something else. The carpet in the room was cut wrong and they were to cheap to correct it so they just pieced it in. SMH
We found the rooms comfortable and clean. All staff members were friendly, check in and out was quick and easy.. Would choose this motel again.Breakfast area was nice. Appreciated the microwave in breakfast area. Food was fresh.
My home was burned. I was waiting for it to be repaired. I stayed at Best Western for seven weeks and enjoyed every minute. I loved it.Would stay there again in a heart beat. Hope my next stay will be under different circumstaces but I do pln to stay at Best Western in the future
This is an okder hotel that has been well maintained. The beds and linens were great. The loillows and blanket not as nice. The towells were lush and ample. The TV and Internet both were very good. The A/C was very loud and actually woke us up during the night. The staff is excellant and so is the location. We recommend this Best West for weary travelors needing an affordable and clean place to lay their head.
Easy to get to and lots of restaurants available. Close to shopping, breakfast buffet is hot and well kept. Selection of choice is good, something for everyone. Nice variety. Good space to walk your pets in safe area.
Very satisfied with our stay at this Best Western. The room was very clean, the room smelled like the carpet has just been shampooed, another pleasant thing!! The breakfast had a very nice selection and the items were kept filled.
Pleasant staff, clean room/bathroom. Some road noise from highway as this is a traditional "motel" style building with outside corridors. HVAC unit white noise cancelled the road noise out. Early set out of breakfast was appreciated.
They had a delicious breakfast with lots of choices. The bed was comfortable. The room was clean. And it was affordable. They had wifi and an exercise room but I didn't use those. It is conveniently right off the interstate.
Outside of having round, kiddies/ladies toilets (rather than the industry std of elongated) it's a good layover. Very professional employees. Very clean room. Easy boat parking. Restaurants are nearby.
great place to spend a night or two. People was very professional and overall stay was great. Would stay there again. Check in and check out was fast and rooms was very clean. breakfast was good and warm and the lady there took pride in her job
Rooms a little dated, but clean. Bed was very comfortable. Hot breakfast served: eggs, sausage, pancake maker. Other options included fruit, juices, and lots of coffee. We have stayed here a few times before and never been disappointed. Staff is friendly and helpful.
Fast check in and check out. Staff friendly. Older hotel, entry from the outside. Breakfast options could be improved. Average fitness center but the hotel has teamed up with Anytime fitness and guests can use facility.
The location off the highway was perfect. Pleasant, easy check in. Room was comfortable and clean. The variety of breakfast items was a pleasant surprise. The dining area was clean, food tasty and the coffee was perfect. It will definitely be our halfway stop each trip to Florida and home
'Unexpected stop, but it is a place I would go back to. Very nice hotel, very friendly staff. Exterior entrance to room which we love. Very near Civil War Battlefield, Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield which is well worth a visit.
While this is an older facility with exterior doors from each room, I was very favorably impressed with the hotel. The staff were extremely friendly, polite, and helpful. The rooms were very clean. The bed was comfortable, and the shower better than most. We had only a double bed, which you might not want if you are used to a queen or king. The breakfast was excellent. The presentation of the food was well done and there was a nice variety of food. Again everything was very clean. This hotel far exceeded our expectations
Checking in was easy. The man at the front desk was able to give us our level we wanted which was the upper level. He was very professional and caring. We loved the room. Seemed updated and clean. Quiet setting too!
The hotel is located right off the interstate and has a mechanic shop within a mile. The room was very clean and spacious. The hotel is quiet and the bed was quite comfortable. The staff was also very nice.
Great place, very nice we stay every time we come to FL. Perfect place to stay to visit Atalanta. People were nice, rooms are comfortable and basic. Breakfast was good. Had no missuses with security. Internet was good.
This lodging perfectly met our needs. Quiet and pet friendly. Responsive staff. We spent a week there. They took good care of the room, though they short-sheeted us a bit! We had to undo the sheets and blanket and move them up to neck level. Just a different style of bed making, I guess.
We have been staying here for 5 years and so enjoy the family atmosphere. Clean rooms equipped with refrigerator, in-room coffee maker, iron and ironing board, hairdryer and good variety of breakfast foods. The staff is so friendly and nice - always ready to provide whatever your needs may be. You won't find cleaner, whiter linens anywhere, and just off the Interstate near shopping and restaurants!
I spend one night at this hotel, the price was reasonable, the hotel clean, the internet acceptable.... The breakfast was meh... Overall I'd stay here again without hesitation and that's a compliment.
Lived up to our expectations for a best western. Nice having ground access to our room for loading our car. Clean room, very comfortable bed. My only complaint is that we leave early in the morning and we could not access the lobby to get coffee. The night staff said that coffee is not available until 5 am. We will stay there again on our way home.
Stopped here on the way from Florida to Kentucky in early December. We've stayed here several other trips due to location, friendly staff, cleanliness, pet friendly, and nice hot breakfast. On this particular trip my girlfriend left her memory foam pillow (expensive) in the room which we only discovered after driving to Kentucky. She called the hotel that night and received a return call the next day saying they had found the pillow and would hold it till our return almost 4 weeks later. We stopped on our return journey, picked up the pillow and were on our way. Thank you to the staff at this Best Western - stay here if you have the opportunity - they are good people!!
This is an older property, but we noticed immediately how clean everything was. Staff was friendly. Our room was spotless. I was surprised how quiet it was. Breakfast was good. Service at check out and check in were super.
Very close to I75. Close to Atlanta. Clean, pet friendly. Nice dog walking area. Comfortable and updated rooms. Free WiFi . Continental breakfast served at 6 am, full breakfast at 7am. Close to Publix and numerous restaurants. Great for overnight stay.
Not planning on stopping anywhere for the night, but fatigue finally got the best of me, so I decided to stop. Picked this exit to see what was around with available rooms. First stop told me that everything was booked in the area. Not looking favorable with that response. However, went just down the road to the second place. It was this Best Western! Parking lot looked pretty full, but decided to ask about vacancies anyway. Was met with great news....personable front desk lady... rooms available....on ground floor (which was necessary for my wonky knees)..with exact bed configuration we wanted and top it off ...a great reasonable price! Something to be said about the these hotels with outside door access and parking right outside your door! Clean, comfortable room, didn't break the bank , what else could you ask for?
We enjoy spending the night here when in the area. They are a pet friendly hotel/motel. The staff is friendly and the business is well run. The rooms are clean. They offer a very nice variety of breakfast items in a clean and pleasant setting.
Stayed here on a whim. Located in a great town. Prices are great and the rooms are clean and comfortable. Looking to stay somewhere in Acworth then I recommend the Best Western hands down. Thank you for your hospitality Ashia
Very helpful staff at checking in and out. Great bed. Nice breakfast. Rooms are older, however mine was clean and neat. So, if you want brand new, this is not your place. If you want a clean comfortable place to stay while traveling, then I recommend this place.
Check in staff great, very helpful .... directed me to a late night night snack that hit the spot. Very. and nice decor, room clean, fresh, quiet and most importantly restful. Complimentary breakfast was excellent. I would return when passing this way again.
Found cockroach in our bathroom. Our traveling companions in adjoining room were bitten by fleas. (Confirmed by a dermatologist). If properties are going to allow pets, rooms must be treated after each occupancy. Otherwise the property was the standard Best Western. We are Platinum members and have been in many BW's. We would stay again but would be sure we weren't in a “pet friendly“ room.
Room was smaller than I expected.Very clean, the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. Was nice to have 3 pillows per bed, and was very fluffy. Towels we're we're soft and smelled good. I would recommend.
We stopped on our way to Florida and really enjoyed the room. It was very clean and in good condition. The only drawback is that a full breakfast is not served until 7 a.m. When I checked in the young lady at the desk was very helpful. The manager also made sure I got a room on the first floor as I requested.
My husband and I stayed here one night while traveling. It was late and we didn't have a reservation, but they did have rooms available at a good rate. We are Best Western royalty members and try to stay at Best Westerns when available. The motel is two stories with exterior entrances and there is no elevator, so keep that in mind. Got a great night's sleep on a comfortable bed with multiple pillow options. Bathroom was a bit small, but the counter for the sink (outside the bathroom) was newer and very spacious. Even with an outside entrance (to all rooms), it was quiet. The property was well-lit and felt very safe. I would feel comfortable staying there by myself. New room darkening curtains were great, the best I have seen in a hotel recently. Average but adequate hot breakfast. Would stay here again.
Very comfortable king bed and great pillows . . Not too soft, not too firm ... Just right! Very clean room with refrigerator & small micro. They served a very nice continental breakfast! All Staff were super nice!
No complaints! Everything was very clean and the staff was very helpful and friendly. Would definitely recommend! They offer free breakfast, gym, and laundry room. Plenty of parking as well. No elevators so keep that in mind.
Don't go in expecting a 5star hotel and you wont be disappointed. The property was very clean, lobby was inviting, staff was friendly and helpful. The room was clean. There was a coffee maker, ironing board, iron, hairdryer. I missed a refrigerator but we had our cooler. The ac unit was very basic and we did find it a bit difficult to get a comfortable temp in the room and opted for cold and used blankets. That would be my only complaint. For the price we were very pleased and would return, if we are in the area. Breakfast had options to please most. They even had arrangements for hotel guests to utilize the local Anytime fitness which was across the street and within walking distance. Also nearby in walking distance were Mcdonalds, Publix grocery store, Zaxbys, Waffle house and a pharmacy.
A wonderful place to stay. It was very easy to call and get our reservation. The staff (Jose) was helpful including found us an outstanding Chinese restaurant (Mandarin Cafe) that delivered to the hotel. He, the morning guy and the woman at the breakfast were nice and very helpful. I should have stated first, one of the cleanest places I have ever stayed. It had a well lit parking area, good size rooms and very comfortable. If I ever find myself needing a hotel anywhere near this town I will stay here. Thanks.
This girl was clean and safe. The staff was competent and friendly. Because of our time frame, we did not swim in the outdoor pool; but it was lovely. The water was a pleasant temperature and was sparkling clean. My wife and I have seen a lot of pools, and this was one of the nicest!
I travel hauling heavy equipment so I have plenty of experience with hotel. This hotel has great customer service. Check in was speedy and the rooms were very clean and updated. Wish they offered more in television channels but if that's all they are lacking, it all good.
The hotel was easy to get to off I-75 South. The staff was helpful and check-in was quick and painless. My room was close and very nice. I got a very restful nights rest. I-75 South was easy to get to in the morning.
the hotel was excellent for the price. beds are comfortable and clean. my only complaint was the light from outside came through the top of the curtains keeping the room lit all night. we will be staying here again
Close to interstate. Room was comfortable and clean, although dated. I was driving and needed a place to sleep for a few hours and was able to do that. Location doesn't have a ton of amenities, but met basic needs.
I try not to consider myself a hotel snob but I require very clean rooms including floor, bathroom , countertops , exterior and personnel. This hotel had it all. There were 3 others within 2 miles that the price was twice as much and I am so glad we stayed at the Best Western. In addition they are Pet Friendly which means they truly care about families.
I chose this location because I wanted to be north of Atlanta and it was a decent price. Easy to get to off the highway, but.....!!!. I walked out to the road to see if there was a restaurant close by and realized that if you left the property, there was no way to get back in without driving who knows how far to turn around. There's no turn in from the opposite direction. So I walked to the adjacent McCrap and gagged down a awful double cheese thinking I'd load up at the complimentary breakfast. Wrong! Typical low quality scrambled eggs and, I assume, sausage. Poor selection of muffins and pastry and the attendant was never seen. The only reason I gave it a 3 is the very nice gals working behind the counter. I'll drive farther next time.
We are coming to Acworth GA for a meeting and last minute ( and I do mean last minute) we booked a room that was close to where we needed to be. My husband was hesitant about it being a motel style, but upon check in he was happy to pull up to the door and unload. The young woman that checked us in could not be more accommodating with all our requests. BW you have a wonderful representative at your front desk. Room was spotless all the amenities that we had received at other hotels were in the room. Now for my favorite part Breakfast - I am gluten intolerant and I have never seen a sign in anyone's breakfast area giving gluten options. Now that is going above and beyond. This hotel has been added to my list of hotels that I would stay at again. Rooms are spacious and shower/toilet in separate room than vanity (love that when two people are sharing a room. AND parking is a dream. Thank you guys for a good stay and a good nights sleep!
We ALWAYS stay at this Best Western... The staff treats us like family and we are never disappointed in our rooms or the breakfast room. We stay at various times throughout the summer and a long weekend at Christmas. I recommend it!!
Heading to florida with my 2 teenage sons,3 year old grandson, and my service dog as my mom had just been diagnosed with cancer.. at approx 2 a.m I was involved in an accident on 75 and we arrived at the motel.. there were 3 other motels in the area but went to best western as i have always heard great reviews.. i was told at check in no matter if paying with cash or credit card an 80 dollar cash deposit was needed on the room.. so I paid the 130 for the room and 80 deposit.. we get to our room.. second floor and i am disabled.. the room was hot... smelled... floors were very uneven..i almost fell a couple times... the beds were very soft and uncomfortable.. fast forward to the next morning.. I went down to front desk.. explained my ride was coming and they would not be there until 11:51. They told me check out was 11.. but they would extend it until 11:30.. if I wanted to stay in the room until 11:50 I would have to pay another night... at 11:30 I went to check out... they told me my 7 year old service dog was a puppy and they were keeping my deposit..I explained I had pictures and paperwork I could show them on my dog.. they said they did not care they were keeping it... so here i sat outside in the heat with a 3 year old, my dog, 2 teenagers, and all our luggage.. want to talk about hectic.. so in my thoughts they deserve a 0 star rating.. I will never again stay at a best western.. and either will my friends or family
The room was clean. The location was very convenient. We enjoyed the breakfast. I thought the association with a local fitness center was ideal. The staff was very helpful and extremely friendly. It was better than I expected and I was very pleased with the overall experience
while visiting one of my businesses I needed to stay over night in Acworth Ga. and decided to stay at the Best Western. there could be better dining selections at this exit by the motel is clean with good air conditioning. there is a pool that some of the families with children used looked well maintained. check out was a breeze.
Considering how much more affordable our room (1 king bed) was when compared to some of the other hotels in the area, it was a great that the quality was everything we would've expected from a much more expensive place. The pool was beautiful (we didn't have the time to go in though), the room was spotless, the WiFi was fast, the TV was brand new, the AC was cold AND quiet, and the free breakfast was great.
The Best Western in Acworth is worth my time. I have a friend who lives there and have stayed three times. It's well maintained and close to the highway making traveling convenient. It is also close to food and gas stations.
room was very clean and breakfast was good, would stay again. good value for the price.Made use of all that the motel had to offer and was very happy with everything. Next time I travel to florida I willstay at this motel.
The rooms are all updated, clean & modern. We stayed overnight on our way to & from FL. The breakfast was great-much more than the typical hotel breakfast. Staff was very friendly. We definitely will stay here again.
When heading North from Florida just Drive Right Past the Downtown & Suburban Traffic of Atlanta after 10-11:pm and stay at the BWAI (Best Western Acworth Inn) Great stop & Breakfast is included !! : )
We make this our regular stop coming and go to Florida. I need a pet friendly place for our little shih tzu. The folks here are very friendly and the place is clean. The morning breakfast buffet is one of the best. The staff works hard to keep everything clean and the food fresh.
The hotel room portion was outdated the room was very dirty no special treatment for Diamond Card member$20 Motel quality the location was convenient the the the pool from my room look pretty nice did not go look at it close but it looks nice the lobby looks very nice updated too bad they did not put the same effort into the rooms or the room section that I was in
We have stayed at this Best Western ate least 4 Times now and will go out of our way to stop here on our trips to and from Florida. The rooms are spotless clean and the beds are very comfortable. The grounds are manicured. Very nice areas for walking our dogs. Short drive to places to get dinner.
Very friendly staff, super clean rooms and lobby. Nice breakfast items. good location.close to I-75. Restaurants and gas station across the road. fast check out. free wifi, big parking lot. Second time staying there
I stayed here during Saturday, 4/21 to Monday, 4/23. I encountered 3 different Front Desk Staff during my stay (a lady who checked us in, a gentleman who asked us how we were doing Sunday afternoon while waiting for our shuttle, and a gentleman who checked us out). All 3 Front Desk Staff were pleasant and helpful. Five stars for the Front Desk Staff! The lobby was sparkling clean! The exterior of the property was cute. We stayed in a King room. The room decor was dated but clean! Well stocked with towels. I saw other reviews that said that being so close to Interstate 75 the room would be noisy but with the AC on we couldn't hear the traffic at all. Even with the AC off, traffic wasn't bothersome. Shower worked great, bed was nice, sink worked fine, AC was great, TV was great, but our mini fridge didn't work so we had to get ice to drink cold water. We wanted to try the breakfast but didn't get a chance. If you are trying to stay on a budget, I highly recommend Best Western in Acworth!
Best western in Acworth, GA is in a good location. Close to I-75 with several restaurants within walking distance. The hotel room was very clean. No foul odors. Good price. The bed was firmer than I'm use to, but the room was very clean. Pretty safe area...no one 'hanging' outdoors around the facility. The staff members were very pleasant and quickly processed my check in and checkout.
The room was older, but very clean. The older floor air conditioner worked well. There was minimal outside road noise, despite a busy parking lot. The staff was courteous. Overall it was a great stop off the interstate.
Located just off Interstate 75. Extremely clean rooms equipped with refrigerator, ironing board and iron, hair dryer, in-room coffee, workout room, internet service, fresh hot breakfast, great rates with Rewards program and the best staff around!
After an exhausting 14 hour drive we were able to find the only hotel with s vacancy. We usually stay in a Holiday Inn Express but they were booked. We were quite pleased with the accommodations & the free breakfast. Best Western was top notch! The only problem we had was locating our room. At night we found it hard to locate the room.
I guess for value and under 100 dollars with a hot breakfaster you cant expect too much. the bed and room was clean and confortable. I wish the desk was a little nicer. The other main thing was that the door was beaten up a bit and was loose
Sleep in your car instead of this hotel! I am a Platinum member at Best Western and am very used to this brand having stayed in may of their hotels around the country (I am also a gold member at Hyatt Hotel and the Marriott chain). i would not allow any of my family or friends to stay at this hotel: No shampoo or conditioner; no late check out; incredibly noisy between HVAC, very thin walls and outside racket.
They have a friendly and helpful staff. Nice and clean room. It was a great overnight place to stay for the night. It was easy in and out for trailers. The breakfast was good and well presented. Will stay again.
We stop at this BW because it accepts dogs and is in a nice town. (If you don't have a pet, don't worry. You rarely hear dogs, and they are restricted to certain rooms.) The rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the showers are good. The rates are reasonable. For a small town, Acworth has some very good restaurants downtown, which is a couple of miles away.
We arrived at around midnight and the man who took care of us made sure we got a good room with a refrigerator , the morning staff was also pleasant and friendly. Good Breakfast as well. We would stay here again.
Overall Good. We liked our location and the pet area. Our breakfast was good. The breakfast server was great. Breakfast area was clean. Our room did stink like dogs. Our beds where comfortable and great Mexican restaurant near by.
We stayed at this motel for 2 days while on a business trip with my husband and chose it because it allowed pets. They do charge $10 per pet, per night. My son and I stayed in the room with our two dogs, while my husband was at training each day. The employees we encountered were friendly, the breakfast was good, and the front lobby was clean. The room we received reeked of wet dog. There was mold growing on the ceiling in the bathroom, and the floor in the room was absolutely disgusting. I refused to let my son play in the floor because it was so gross. Every time we walked on the carpet, we had to get in the shower to clean the dirt and hair off our feet. When we were getting ready to check-out, my husband requested a later checkout, so he could use his lunch at 11:45am to help me get everything out of the room with our 2 dogs and 2 year old. They informed us that the latest time they could do check-out, without charging us additional fees, was 11:45 am. My husband attempted several times for them to extend it to 12, so he would have enough time to drive to the motel to help us, but they refused. So they expected me to get all of our stuff out of the room along with our dogs and 2 year old and wait in the freezing cold until my husband could get there 15 minutes later than the check-out they offered. An employee called the room at 11:00 am on check-out day to ask if we would be doing late check-out (11:45 am). I informed the employee that we would and that I would just have to place everything outside and sit outside until my husband got there. The employee immediately reminded me how freezing it was outside and that I was welcome to wait in the lobby. I told her I appreciated the offer, but it would be impossible to carry all of our stuff (large crate, luggage, toiletries, etc.) by myself, all the way to the front lobby with two dogs and a two year old. She then stated as long as we were out of the room by 12:00 pm that she wouldn't charge us any additional fees. My husband was able to get back to the motel right at 11:45 to help me pack everything in the car. We will never return to this motel again.
We booked this hotel a few day ahead on the Best Western website. Hotel for two doubles was $69 but $84 after taxes. It is directly off I75. The place has outdoor entrances and no elevators. It was a bit cold and the heater/ air conditioner unit blew air directly up and under the long window treatments that hung above the unit and into the cornice. What a design flaw! The toilet kept running until we jiggled the handle. What a waste of water! The breakfast room was nice and sunny serving eggs, sausage patties, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, etc. Enough choices that it was easy to find something to eat. There are also free USA today copies on the lobby counter. This Best Western is nothing special but all we needed for one night on the road.
We needed a hotel for one night traveling from Florida to Kentucky. Checked in and the smell in the room was a combo of musty and pee. The floor was soaked from a broken refrigerator. The shower was leaking also. I would have immediately checked out but needed to sleep to get on the road again. The pool area looked like a bomb went off. Fence down, broken concert, pool half full with green water. They only had a small rope blocked off ...totally a hazard to kids and dogs if they walked over there.
We stayed here on our way home from Florida, getting north of Atlanta to miss the morning rush hour the next day. It was fully up to Best Western standards, room was updated in good shape, clean, comfortable, and quiet despite nearness of the Interstate. The breakfast offered a variety of good food. You can book this place without any concerns.
My stay at this best western was great!! Nice friendly staff!! The breakfast was great!! No trouble during my stay. Bed was comfortable. Room was very clean. I will be staying here in the near future.
Great night sleep. Clean, quiet, nice towels, looked recently remodeled. Diverse breakfast, fresh fruit, good coffee. Close to I-75. Doors to rooms are on the outside. This concerns me about security. But the room was quiet.
Stopped here for 2 days visiting the area. Nice rooms hope they get their pool repaired by summer. Good location for visiting the Atlanta area, with a little less cost and a little less traffic. We have stayed here a few times and will return again
This is our favorite Best Western due to the staff. They always go above and beyond expectations. Room was very clean. Property is well cared for. Breakfast was fine. Internet quick. Location is right off I-75.
great place to stay ....nicest hotel in that area and especially that exit...love best western....huge lot and location safe parking...breakfast always a plus...pillows soft...bunch of channels on tv....go best western!
Nice clean old style hotel (motel) where you drive up to room (1st floor). Could use some updating. Old style heating and air conditioning units in rooms. Good selection for breakfast. Long walk from D building to the main lobby where breakfast is served.
Good room, it's jjust that the commode did not flush Meant to report but forgot at checkout. In a hurry to get on the road. Had a coupon from rest area and they honored it, which made the value of the room a lot better.
This hotel is wonderful! The staff are friendly and efficient. The room was comfortable and pleasant. It had everything we would need for a much longer stay. Everything was in working order and super clean. The bed was wonderful and comfy. The breakfast was amazing. There were so many choices of lovely food and the pancakes were a great surprise. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. A great place to stay for a week or a night.
Acworth Best Western is our go to hotel when traveling to Florida. It's our halfway mark. Easy access off hwy 75, clean room, friendly staff and close to fast food places if you need a walk. I would recommend BW for anyone traveling.
I enjoyed this property very much. I will be back on my next trip down south. Friendly, professional and knowledgeable staff. Great location, good breakfast, no complains about the room or the bed. Thanks for the great stay!
Quiet even though the building is close to the freeway. The room was clean, and the bed was comfortable. We were able to park outside of our room which made loading and unloading very easy. The staff was friendly and helpful.
We have stayed at this location a few times. The rooms are clean and the staff is very accommodating and professional. We always make reservations and happened to arrive during a freak snow storm this last trip. The staff had turned up the heat in our room in expectation of our arrival so we would be warm and cozy after travelling through the storm.
I have issues with arthritis and the half size pillows kept me from sleeping. Everything else was ok. Access to the main road is limited, you can not turn left from the motel parking lot (towards either interstate entrance) because of a raised medium.
Rooms are clean. Have microwave, fridge and a decent complimentary breakfast. Check in was pretty quick - was able to use my $10 rewards on room It had snowed the day before and the parking lot was extremely icy - there was no salt or sand put down to prevent slipping/falls
Stay here every trip to Florida. Great staff. Close to interstate. Close to a great restaurant - Henry's Louisianna Grill. Get the Louisianna Oh La La. Some nice little shops to browse as well along the block.
service was great , room and breakfast average came a couple of days after snow storm , driveway was all ice. reason review was not better , note , all rooms had outside entrance. we had dogs and room we were put in had a smell to cover up other smells .
Best Western has always been synonymous with quality inconvenience. I was happy to find the best Western at an exit at one in the morning when I was ready to stop for the night call just informed me that they were certainly a bed in his building. For under $80 I got a full hot breakfast and a good nights sleep
This was a wonderful Best Western with a welcoming staff! The breakfast items were numerous and very tasty. The bed was very comfortable and a good nights sleep is what you need after being on the road for 10 or more hours!!
Very nice well maintained property. Very friendly and accommodating staff. I would stay there again and would recommend this place to others. Wood like to see more a better selection of breakfast items.
Check in & out was smooth and pleasant friendly,, fantastic employees at this very nice Best Western. I sooooo appreciated this after a really poor Air BnB & another hotel experience the previous 2 nights in the Atlanta area. Best Western has really stepped up the appearance & refurbishing of their hotels & hiring the right staff!
Was so happy to find an affordable and clean hotel after a long day's drive. The shower was amazing and the bed was so comfortable. I was able to get a good work out at the 24 Hour Fitness across the street as it is a partner of the hotel. Breakfast was nice too.
Booked this on-line and wanted to stay about 30 minutes from Atlanta. The Motel was very clean and convenient to I - 75. It was also Pet Friendly, as we have a Yellow Lab. The breakfast - continental started at 5, which was nice, as we were leaving early. Hot breakfast starts at 7. The Place was busy, but surprisingly very Quiet. I would recommend staying here on your next trip heading South.
If you get past the "motel" odor in the rooms, it is a very nice motel. No smoke smell, just "motel" smell. We found it very clean, the staff were very professional and friendly, and the bed comfortable. Breakfast had a large variety of foods to appeal to everyone and they tasted great.
Check in was fast, the front desk gal was nice. The room was on the end, perfect. 2 beds and a table w/chairs. Fridge/micro. Clean! Quiet! Good enough parking for truck/trailer combo. Guest laundry was appreciated. Wi-fi was good enough for streaming. Overall a nice Ma/Pa set-up. We'd stay again!
Pleased with stay. Easy on and off I75. Pet friendly rooms clean. Acworth is better value than Kennysaw (which is closer to Atlanta and only 7 miles further north). Fuel and fast food walking distance.
Clean, close to I-75. Local mall with Publix and several restaurants.McDonalds next door.Used coupon from Coupon book picked up at Georgia Travel Center.Good Price. Staff was very efficient and pleasant. Grounds are attractive. Pet friendly
My husband and I travel 3 hrs to visit my sister who only lives a mile away and take care of her over the week end. We have stayed here for 3 yrs and call it our "home away from home." Great staff, very clean with good breakfast and super comfortable beds with good rates and Reward Points from Best Western!
Perfectly located for our trip...between Acworth and Marrietta, the Kennesaw Mountain National Battlefield Park...friendly staff and breakfast attendants...lovely sunrises, although in the eyes of youre morning office workers. We enjoyed our stay.
The staff was friendly and made us feel welcome on arrival. Very clean and nicely decorated room. Breakfast was good, coffee good. We only stayed one night for a race, and would stay again. Great rate I would recommend this motel to friends, family or anyone to stay.
Stopped on trip to Fl. Newly remodeled BW a little close to Interstate but still quiet. Lady at checkin was very polite and knowledgable about the area. Would definetly stay there again. She knew about the area and reccomended a very good restaurant in town.
If there was an option for less than one star that is what this property would receive. I booked two rooms at this hotel as a property to stay during the evacuation from hurricane Irma but due to other arrangements called three days in advance of my arrival and cancelled. I later reviewed my credit card statement and realized that I was still charged for one of those stays even though i had a cancellation number stating that it was cancelled. I called and spoke to a front desk clerk who said that General Manager "Kim" would receive my information and refund the amount. I have never received a call and as of today my account is still reflecting that amount gone. I cannot believe that the Best Western Brand would allow this kind of scalping during such a perilous situation. I will be following up with all channels. Do not support this establishment as I am sure this was done to others as well.
We stayed one night on our way back to Florida. Good location right off I75, good friendly staff, good clean room, and good hot breakfast including eggs and sausage with sausage biscuits and gravy. Will definitely stay there again..
I had to evacuate Florida because of the hurricane. The closest hotel/motel with a vacancy was in Acworth, GA. I forgot to say I had two small dogs with me. They were very dog friendly there. I was very nervous after the long drive (13.5 hours) and the room seemed very inviting. We stayed there six nights. The town around there was very nice too. The people outside of the motel were all very concerned when they heard I was from Florida. Very friendly area.
For the money i guess it was ok. Very old hotel. Rooms had been upgraded to some extent. Very small rooms. Bathrooms were extremely small. Lobby was way nicer than rooms. Breakfast was good. Probably would not stay there unless i had to.
Beautiful well taken care of and very clean..Helpful and polite employees We will stop here again..Breakfast was above and beyond Great location near I75 with numerous restaurants, and plenty of shopping locations..Fun places to visit..
This hotel was very clean. Great linens and a great staff. We will stay there again. before booking any hotel I always look at the reviews. This hotel is top notch and the price was within our budget.
I was very pleased with our room, we were in the second floor on the end room 240 something, can't remember the number now but it was very clean and very nicely decorated and the bed was comfortable, looked like it was just remodeled, the only issue and warnings I have is the steps, the are a little slanted I assume for rain to run off but I lost my balance and almost fell the first time going up but other than that it was a great stay and not a bad price.
Nice hotel for the money cold AC very comfortable bed but small. Only complaint we felt rushed at breakfast because staff wanted to clean up and let it be known. Overall would definitely recommend hotel to family or friend. Adam K. Newman Sr.
Understand that the south is very humid in the summer. It took 2 hours after we checked in an turned the Air Conditioner on. For the musty smell went away. Other than that, I have stayed at this hotel 3 times in the past 1 1/2 years. This is a very nice hotel. I wish they can do something with the musty Oder.
It was your average best Western the bathroom was not looking like a hotel but it look more like a hotel and room it was not of date it could be more Moder up today with furniture but seem like my grandmas room
We accidently left our laptop in the room upon checkout. We realized our mistake about 20 minutes later on I-75. We called the office and they had it and we were able to turn around and return to the hotel. The manager and the staff member were very quick in finding it and return it to us. Thank you very much. Great staff at this hotel!
We were traveling through Georgia and needed a good night's rest. We found The Best Western Acworth Georgia very pleasant. Check in was simple. Staff was friendly and breakfast was good. The bed was comfy and it had modern décor. Television was great Thee overall comfort level of the entire location was definitely up to par with our standards. We would stay here again.
this hotel is very pleasing to the eye but the bed needs some attention. The mattress ls lacking in comfort. Everything else was good, the breakfast was one of the better ones served at a hotel. I would advise all to stay away from the Wendys across the street, worse grilled chicken ever, could not even pull it apart
nice place will stay again soon food good bed clean also was the room and parking lot had a good night stay will stop at more best westerns price was ok food needs a little help more variety but was very clean thanks
Great pet friendly hotel. Convenient to I-75. Clean room and friendly staff. Great room for the price. Fast check in. Will definitely stop here again. I did not eat but had breakfast available beginning very early.
Excellent location right off the interstate. Close to several restaurants. Very helpful front desk staff no problems with the room terrific breakfast very fast internet will definitely stay at the Acworth Best Western next trip
Was able to check in early. Front desk staff very friendly! Room and bathroom were very clean. The bed was not comfortable at all. Too soft for us. Parking lot was full when we would return late at night. But overall a great and affordable stay!
Really enjoyed our night there and will stay again on our return trip! Beds were like sleeping on a cloud and breakfast was great and plenty! Overall property was well kept, clean and felt safe there!
Rooms smelled like urine. Loud area. The blankets were ancient. Water pressure was awful and bathrooms really tiny. It was like a room from the 70's. Could hear neighbors above and beside us st all times.
Another excellent stay at the Best Western Acworth Inn in Acworth, GA. Wonderful comfort and convenient to everything. What an amazing and friendly staff! Pet Friendly and Family Friendly. Very convenient to Atlanta without staying right in the heart of the hustle and bustle of the big city.
Don't normally, ok ever, stay in a motel type hotel. However, was traveling with team for a tournament and this place worked out great for the boys. It has been updated, is clean, in a great location, and friendly staff.
First, this a pet friendly hotel for a fee per night. It has a nice grass area with poop station to take your dog. This is an older motel/hotel. 2 story with outdoor access to room. No elevator. Room are old but okay. My room was clean. Carpet in my room had been patch taking away from appearance. Bathroom was small and dark which is typical of an older hotel. This hotel offer breakfast with a few hot items egg patties, sausage and biscuits with all the typical hotel breakfast items. There is a McDonald's right next door if you want to grab breakfast there. I found driving thru the McDonald's parking lot was the easiest and safestablished way to get back to interstate. I like this location because it is just north of the I75 Marietta traffic jam making it easier to use side roads to get around.
Non smoking room was requested. Received a room that a previous smoker rented. Mgmt. attempted to mask smell with air freshener to rent room out. Very poor hotel mgmt skill to remedy this situation. Agree?
Best Western Acworth is a real gem! Location is just off the Interstate, many restaurants, gas stations, grocery stores and drug stores within 1 block. The lobby is clean, fresh and inviting. I cannot say enough about the professional and courteous staff that always have a smile on their face and a can do attitude. Rooms are clean, beds are very comfortable, air conditioners work very efficiently. I have stayed there several times now, and each visit is a pleasure.
I enjoyed staying at this BW. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. The shower head was great. Good to have coffee there. The only thing I would ask is for more gluten-free, less carb breakfast items.
The Best Western Plus in Acworth was a pleasant place to spend the night. We appreciated the nice sized table that enabled us both to be on our computers in comfort. The room was very well kept...bed was comfortable and the morning breakfast was very good. The only thing I would mention is that there are not a lot of places to eat in the general area...the only places we saw were fast food places and a pizza joint. Luckily e weren't very hungry so McDonald's brought back to the room satisfied us. There was a nice outdoor pool, although we didn't use it. It was the 4th of July, so of course there were fireworks going on but over all it was a nice quiet evening.
Our bathroom smelled terrible... we could smell it the moment we walked in. The floor of the bathroom behind the door had dried chunks of vomit. A child pooped in the pool (the family was not even staying at the hotel- they just came to use the pool) and we were not aware of it until my kids and I swam in the pool for over an hour. They need to regulate who uses the pool by adding key access.
Staff did not speak English to assist you. Bugs were in the room. Bathroom was not clean. It was hot in the office during check out time. They allowed people to sit out with chairs and big dogs to sit in the walk way.
Chose hotel initially due to its proximity to Atlanta and it being Pet friendly. Found the hotel to be very clean, hotel staff friendly and for the money a very good place to stay. We stayed there once in April and again in June. We will definitely stay there again based on the above.
A good place to stay - reasonable rates, very clean, very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was decent and well presented. Wish there were better restaurants in the immediate area but downtown was lovely and enjoyable.
Stayed here with my family overnight as a layover on the way further down south. This hotel, which my little one kept saying was a motel, was sufficient for an over night stay. The room 154 was clean with two rather small "full" beds and wifi was consistent. As with all low end hotels, the walls are thin and most of the clientele seem not able to respect the fact that there are other people staying that may want peace and quiet. Not the greatest, but not the worst. I wouldn't stay here again as there are higher quality hotels in the area.
I would definitely stay here again. Safe, clean, comfortable. Rooms recently renovated. Conveniently located right off of I-75. Staff friendly and helpful. Breakfast served as a continental breakfast from 5 a.m. to 7 a.m. at 7 a.m. a full breakfast is served
When we checked in we asked for a clean quiet room with a good wifi connection. That's what we got. The hotel staff was very friendly and efficient. That being said we would not stay here in the future, The place has definitely seen better days and is showing it's age. The sheets did not fit the pillow top mattress very well and had to remake bed three times during the night. My biggest complaint that their hot breakfast does not start serving until 0700. Most people who are traveling like to be on the road before that. Now if you are in the area for softball tournaments,(I hear that's their regular clientele) that probably works. They do serve pastries and cold items starting a 0500. The price for the room seemed high for the dated condition of the room. The room pictures posted on their site look nothing like what we got.
We stayed here for a baseball tournament at Lake Point. It has the quality of a $50 per night motel, but of course we paid much more than that! The doors to the rooms do not seal completely. Plenty of room for bugs to come in and they did. Rooms are dark and stinky. Toilet and shower area very small. Floor tile moldy and needs replacing. Small toilets plug easily. Housekeeping and grounds crew say hello. However, the owners walk around annoyed and do not make eye contact or say hello. Pool area decent to hang out. However, one evening it was overcast and started to sprinkle. No wind. Owner walked over. Did not say hello. Not even any eye contact and collapsed umbrella. I would never suggest anyone to stay here and will not stay here again.
Would like a refund for one night. We had to leave early due to losing baseball games. Travelocity would not refund one night. Other than night best western was clean and comfortable! I would stay there again!
Stayed for 3 nights, clean room, friendly staff. A great value. Good breakfast. Would recommend and I would stay there again. No frills. Quite rooms. Easy access to freeway and downtown area. Shower was powerful and you can get adjoining rooms for families.
Our stay was due to carpet being replaced in our home. We just needed to get out.The employees were very professional. The room and grounds were immaculate. The pool was clean and well maintained. I would give it an A++++. My daughter was so impressed, she wants to go back on her birthday.
We have stayed here 3 times on the way to and from our homes in Florida and Ohio. It's in a good half-way location. The motel is nothing to write home about, but it's clean, reasonable, and has a decent breakfast. Many rooms appeared to be having new carpet installed last winter and the room we were in looked new this May. We chose it because you can park directly outside a pet friendly room for easy to and from access with dog and cat. The staff has been great each time, including modifying reservations, which can be the kiss of death for my actually having a room when I get there. Very quiet area although right off I75. Lots of quick food options around. Would stay there again.
very clean and quiet rooms -continental breakfast was good excellent price -has outdoor pool for use -very family oriented right at the I75 cut-off -very easy access to and from highway -perfecgt for early start to clear atlanta traffic
on our way home from winter in Florida. Chose this Best Western and very glad we did. Lovely facility and very nice accomodations. Would highly recommend. Personnel very professional and caring. Best Western are facilities we can count on being nice, professional employees, nice clean rooms and extra amenities we might need!
The stay at this hotel was ok, I was given a room near kids who wanted to play and rough house around during the night. I believe we could have found better accomadtions for the PRICE!! The staff was very Pleasant and Nice!!
There's a nice continental complementary breakfast in the morning. I didn't find any noise to be an issue. The beds are nice & soft. The bathroom could use updating but I don't know how important it is.
We would highly recommend the Best Western Acworth Inn. Great breakfast. We ordered Jets Pizza for our evening meal so we could relax in our room after a very long day of travel. Friendly employees. We will definitely stay here again.
perfect location to not deal with Atlanta traffic. Stayed for sons' basketball tournament. Close to stores and restaurants which proved helpful as my husband left his suitcase at home. Check in staff very friendly. Just off the I-75. Must try Fish Thyme restaurant near by 5 star food.
Hotel was basic but quite fine with exception of advertised pool not open. Clean, staff was fine, even had a small fitness area although one of three machines out of operation at the time. USA Today Next to variety of fast food outlets.
The walls are paper thin and when you have someone next door that's noisy you can hear everything that's going on. The sausage was good but spicy and the eggs where like hockey pucks. Most places have bananas.
I was told one price for a room then get my bill for almost 20.00 dollars. Give me your total amount not the low price before the taxes and fees. Be up front with the customer when asked the amount of the room. I feel I was deceived when I asked the rates before my check-in. Very unhappy, VERY Warrren
Having previously stayed at this property, my wife and I decided to stay there once again on our trip north of Atlanta. We were very satisfied with our stay. The warm reception we received, the quiet room, and very satisfying breakfast were all very good and met our expectations. Thank you, BW!
The staff was very nice and the is what you'd expect. Nothing fancy, but clean and kept well. It's my choice now for my business stays in this area. It's nothing fancy, but you're not paying for. "Fancy".
We have stayed here every month for the past 3 years while visiting a family member and find it always clean, comfortable, great staff, good, hot breakfast and great value. We are pleased to feel safe while we travel.
On our way to Daytona for Spring Break we were glad to make reservations before hand because they were sold out when we arrived late. Rooms were clean and continental and hot breakfast were good. Beds were a little short. I'm 5'4" and my feet were all the way to the end and when my son walked by to the bathroom in the early morning he bumped my feet and woke me up.
Acworth, GA is a surprisingly interesting place once you get beyond I-75. The downtown has been largely revitalized, and there are a number of good restaurants and some non-mall shopping in the historic business district. This is less than two miles from the BW, and well-worth making an effort to see. As far as hotels go, this was a bargain for the area. Not remarkable, but clean and friendly for travelers. Easy to find and away from the worst of the Atlanta area traffic.
We enjoyed our night. Quick and efficient staff made check in and out easy. Rooms are not overly spacious but were clean and tidy. Free breakfast is what it is. Sausage patties, scrambled egg patty, biscuits and gravy plus a pancake maker. Juice and coffee.
When we arrived we were extremely tired after many hours on the road. Turned on just enough lights to find our way to the bathroom & change into night clothes before going to sleep. Next morning we found a pair of men's underwear sticking out from the far side of the other bed which, thankfully, we hadn't slept in. DISGUSTING!!! Also found dirty area on bathroom floor, dirt in tub, & something sticky with a hair stuck to it in the sink. Called front desk to send staff to our room. Woman who came offered nothing but the lame: 'Sorry, it's a training issue.' That is NOT ACCEPTABLE! If your cleaning personnel aren't fully trained, a supervisor should be responsible for checking their work before rooms are rented! One might think there would be an adjustment to the bill for all of this, but it was not offered. To top off this horrible experience, the front desk clerk said he'd have the manager call me. Yeah, right, like that will happen. It's been 2 days & I've heard nothing. Every hotel has problems...this one just handled the whole ordeal very poorly.
The staff both evening and morning were friendly and a great help. The room was spacious and clean. I would recommend this Best Western to anyone traveling north or south of Atlanta. This property was easily accessible and I would plan to stay there again when I travel
This Best Western is off the beaten path. Two stories, drive up to your door or wraparound balcony. Quiet, clean and comfortable. Affordably priced. Brought back fond memories of earlier times. The folks were friendly, decent breakfast and a pleasant stay.
Very nice accommodations; staff very friendly; had made my reservations in advance and they were ready for me. Breakfast had good variety and was more than enough. No complaints. Always have good experiences @ Best Western's.
We had called ahead for directions, and got there as they said. They were so nice and pleasant, the room was excellent. It was clean, quiet, restful too. We had a very restful sleep. We woke up and had breakfast there, which was well set up. Thank them very much for us, for having such a clean, and well kept Best Western with the nicest people. Thanks again.
Room was fine for our needs. Pet friendly is a big plus! Unfortunate though that breakfast does not start earlier, as we leave early. Shower was great, bed was very comfortable. Quiet, and convenient to highway.
Great staff. Comfortable bed. Wonderful breakfast menu. Food was very good. We were treated like family, not just strangers passing through. We highly recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a great nights sleep and then a warm breakfast.
We stayed at the Best Western Acworth Inn since we changed our plans because of hurricane Matthew. Many of the hotels guests arrive to it since they ran away from the storm. It seems that the hotel took advantage of the situation and charged very high fares for the stay. For the price we paid we stayed at much better motels with close corridors and more sophisticated look. The motel is located at noisy area which disturb you during the night. The mattress was inconvenient since they were narrow and too much soft. We barley slept at night because of the noise and bad mattress. Breakfast was nothing special and you could not have even cream cheese which is a kind of basic at all the motels. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone unless he does not any other alternative.
Excellent hotel just north of Atlanta Metro area. We stay here twice every year. Quiet, good service, excellent breakfast, nice bedding, places to eat nearby. Nicely remodeled rooms and clean grounds. Although next to expressway, rooms are quiet.
At first glance you may be turned off as compared to other bigger hotels. Don't be fooled. This hotel was very clean, very affordable, staff was friendly and helpful. While we did not eat breakfast, it was available. We would stay again for sure.
I have stayed at other Best Westerns and have always been pleased. In this case I was evacuating my city because of a hurricane and apparently got the last room anywhere south of Chattanooga. It took forever to get there, but they held my room for me even though I arrived well after midnight, and they did not raise their rates to take advantage of the situation. The bed was the most comfortable I have ever slept in and the room was very clean. Great staff, very helpful the whole visit.
Need to find hotels that are pet friendly and have a full breakfast. This Best Western meets both of our needs. Nice lobby staff and the breakfast was good. We have used this hotel before and will use it again. Suggest making reservations as the last visit they were all booked. Glad that we made our reservations in advance as we were checking in they were turning people away since they were full.
We had to evacuate our home due to Hurricane Matthew. I use Best Western as part of of a promo code from my employer. The closest place we could find to our home in a safe region was Acworth, Georgia. By the time that we had left our home we arrived around 12 + hours later and very tired. Acworth Best Western had everything ready for us upon our arrival. From the time of check in until the time of our departure they continuously checked in on us for comfort. Their help was instrumental in finding our way around in Acworth, Ga. My family and I absolutely enjoyed our brief stay with Acworth Best Western, and look forward to our next planned stay there.
Room with King size bed has a nice small table and chair set. Made for a roomy area for the pets. Clean and easy access to pet areas outside. Walking distance to many restaurants and stores. Breakfast as expected.
We had to evacuate from our Atlantic Beach home in Florida because of hurricane Matthew. We ended up in Acworth because it was the only place that had a room left and would accept dogs. So 8 hours later we arrived to a small but very clean room with a microwave and refrigerator and use of the Wi-Fi. Many of the guest were also fleeing Florida and coastal areas. They provided a hot breakfast each morning. The staff was very friendly. There was a nice area for walking the dogs too. It was located right off I75. at exit 277. Aside from having to share our double bed with 2 dogs who took up most of the space, at least it was clean, cool and away from the storm. We found some great dog friendly restaurants there too and it was just down the road from Kennesaw Mountain. It wasreasonably priced with a small fee for dogs. They do need to check the air condioners. At times it seemed a little damp. We were lucky to find this place!
I stayed at this motel three times this summer during trips to and from Michigan. The front desk staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are clean, comfortable, and quiet. This hotel is set up like the motels of the 1960s: you drive up to your room and enter from outside. Some people don't care for this type of setup. I don't mind it, especially when the clientele is families and business people, and I feel safe. Although this establishment offers a free hot breakfast, I did not have a chance to sample it on any of my visits, so can't comment there. I did appreciate the fact that the hotel devotes some of its rooms to travelers who have pets. I have a cocker spaniel, so stayed in one of the pet-friendly rooms. It was spotless, with not a dog or cat hair in sight. I found that reassuring and indicative of a commitment to excellent housekeeping. Will definitely stay here again, as it represents a perfect mid-point between Florida and Michigan.
Despite the crowd on the roads because of Hurricane Matthew evacuations, this hotel was pleasant and a good place to wait out the storms. My son's wedding was supposed to be in Savannah, GA but we had to evacuate and postpone. All of us decided to gather in Atlanta for a visit. Chose this property because of reviews and pricing. NOT DISAPPOINTED about any of it. Veryu clean, quiet, and comfortable. Breakfast was okay and about on pare with most hotels that offer a "hot" breakfast of pre-prepared eggs or pancakes, biscuits, etc. I cvan recvommend this hotel for singles or couples, not sure about for families because I tyraveled alone and cannot make that judgment.
Hotel rates .com was very helpful. The people at the hotel were very courteous and the accommodations were clean and in good condition. The breakfast was adiquate and the coffee was excellent. I tried to stop at the Best Western in Acworth Georgia again on my way but due to a hurricane , they were sold out. unavailable
You can hear all the road noise from the interstate. Loud vehicles and loud music wake you up. You can also hear the footsteps of the person above you. Room was not clean. Hair in tub, toilet was dirty. Even found a stick (I'm guessing that's what it was) on the floor. It's outdated. Cracks in the walls and ceilings. There aren't enough electrical outlets to plug your cell phone and laptop in. Oh, there's Wi-Fi, but the internet does not work.
Very easy to find, one minute off the freeway. Nice size rooms, lovely comfy beds. Desk clerk when we checked out was welcoming and friendly. Didn't sample the breakfast as we had an early start, but would definitely stay there again.
Very clean and comfortable bed. Sufficient breakfast for style of hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. Located off interstate and easy to get to. Many chain restaurants within 3 miles. Priced right for an overnight stay. Would stay again if rated good by trip advisor as this hotel was.
Overall we had a nice stay. My only complaint is that breakfast was not served before 7am, which we needed for the boys who had early baseball games. Pasties and coffee were the only thing available before this time. While there, they served the same hot breakfast every day, not much of a variety.
This is the 3rd time we've stayed at this hotel. Each time the staff was friendly, rooms are comfortable and clean. Off the 75 enough to not be noisy. Breakfast is good with a number of choices. Husband likes their biscuits and, to us, pancakes we're a nice surprise. It's usually waffles. 3 times and not one problem. This is our go to hotel when we are skirting around the Atlanta area with our 20 pd dog. Currently the dog rate is an extra $10.
Simply great value good friendly, helpful staff clean with nice breakfast typical but good very clean , instead of them biscuits you nuke they have them warm with all tasty sausage patties you want ,minute maid juice precook scram egg some pastry and pancakes. With white sauce for the biscuit. Better than many continental breakfast i had at hotels. Could of had some fruit but everything was pretty good , Plenty of free ice for the cooler also. This place is a half way point to go see the great grands and will be our stay over coming and going. Very good value and we felt safe.
Great for the money, aways friendly and helpful. Breakfast always is a nice touch and the ladies are alway helpful and happy. Rooms are clean and beds are comfortable.Always plenty of parking and secure facilities.
This was one of the nicest Best Westerns we have stayed at....my husband has medical issues and we made special requests for our room and it was just as we had requested.....it was spacious and very clean, the bed was very comfortable....the full breakfast was great, so much nicer than just a pastry and cold cereal....we were traveling south and only stayed the one night, but we will definitely keep this place in mind next time thru' the area.
Look... This is obviously not a luxury hotel or anything like that, but the value you are getting for the price is simply unbeatable. Hotel is CLEAN, and everything in the room was functional - faucets, AC, fridge... no issues! Not the most modern place, but neat and well kept, and does the job. Wifi worked wonderfully everywhere. Noise levels were low. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was plentiful. The biggest pleasant surprize - access to a full large gym just across the street! There is a small fitness center on the property with just 3 machines and some weights, if you're in a hurry... but when traveling for business, full gym access is a huge perk. I really can't find anything I could complain about. Again, this is not a fancy 5-star destination by any means, but the value and level of service are unnexpectedly high for this level of hotel.
nice p;ace to stay excellent beds with courteous staff enjoyed my stay and if i come through the area again would definitely stay here again. comfortable and good location didnt use all the amenties but great room and convienant off the interstate
Just a quick overnight layover. Rooms very clean, bed and pillows comfortable. They had just renovated and done a nice job. The staff were all helpful and very courteous. Had our four year old grandson with us so they kept the breakfast open a little past time for him.
Great accommodations and great service. It was a perfect location to stay and wake up to a warm breakfast. Service was very warm and welcoming which always makes things easier and more peaceful. That's important.
This hotel was clean and the staff was very courteous. The only problem I had with this hotel is that I originally booked and payed for 3 nights. The day I was suppose to check out, I called to add additional nights and the hotel did not want to honor the price I was already paying. They wanted me to pay an extra $20+ per night and I felt they should have honored my price iI was originally paying. I felt that being a Perks member, I was no treated properly and that being a rewards member doesn't have any incentives. You are not giving anything special.
I would stay again if i was in the area. good location. decent price. breakfast could be a little more substantial, but it was ok. we only stayed the one night on the way further North. didn't have any problems.
My husband & I have stayed at this hotel before on our way back from FL. Have always found it to be clean & quiet & a good breakfast. And the price is quite reasonable. The outside is very pleasant to look at & it is close to restaurants.
I stayed in this hotel while on a business trip to Acworth. It was clean, efficient, and welcoming. The staff was friendly and the rooms were nice (for the price). They have a small gym in the building, but they also have a tie-up with LA Fitness for a free 3 hour session every day. It is located close to shopping malls and restaurants.
Its the average Best WEstern but it also has outside access rooms so you can actually park in front of your room and easily unload without needing a cart. I booked this hotel for my handicapped parents who appreciated the handicap parking, handicap rooms and the breakfast is included...they also honor military discounts. There is a McDonalds next door, a Publix grocery store with a Zaxbys, Sonic, Wendy's and Dairy Queen all within the stoplight. There are 3 gas stations and a Shoneys, Waffle House and Hardees 1 stoplight away. Just over the bridge is a brand new Cabela's and you are only 20 +/- minutes from Atlanta
You can't beat this one for cleanliness, and updated rooms. price is equal to others. All rooms have everything working, clean and comfortable beds too. We have stayed here time and again. Breakfast area is clean and well stocked with all kinds of food items, from hot foods to fruit, coffees, juices, yogurt and more.
Traveling to Minnesota for vacation with family. Found room to be very clean. The only thing missing was liquid creamer for coffee at breakfast. We did not stay for breakfast, sibce they only had powdered creamer.
We stayed for 2 days since we were doing an annual fumigation. It was quiet and my great-granddaughter enjoyed the pool. We always use Best Western as their facilities are always pleasant. Easy access to Interstate 75 many fast food and regular restaurants nearby within 1 mile.
We stayed at the Best Western in Acworth twice, under not the best of circumstances ... for my wife's mother's funeral and for estate business. I got to talking with John at the front desk during my first stay, and he was just so empathetic. He is a very fine man. He remembered me when I checked in for the second stay (and I certainly remembered him) and he was just great to talk to. I ate breakfast the second stay, and the person maintaining breakfast in the morning was very friendly and helpful. Both times, our room was comfortable, and very clean. The breakfast was good and had a large selection. Motel stays usually don't stand out in my mind, but this one certainly will because of the good and caring people.
A great place to stay! 24 hours McDonald's next door, Waffle House and other eateries close by. Breakfast at the hotel was delicious! A wide variety, well stocked & excellent service. Easy to access!!
it was located in a nice location and had lots of things around to access such as restaurants, shopping, gas ,etc. nice hotel that was updating and look modern. pool and breakfast was very nice for kids and family. breakfast had a wide variety of foods to choose from. I was very pleased with hotel .
First, the good: our team all stayed here for the Perfect Game Youth Baseball Money Machine Tournament. The bad: Perfect Game-Atlanta: Wow- how they fleece the families of young baseball players! A true eye opener. Families are required to book through Perfect Game, Atlanta/(Lakepoint) The hotels are then required to pay the Perfect Game Corporation $30 for each night a family stays. A home 2 suites employee explained the hotels all it The Perfect Hell tournaments. Now, I understand. Sad really?? When we pulled in I said, " this can't be the place". I was wrong. It is located next to an interesting couple of title pawn shops and another establishment that charges$30 per night. Our room on ground floor was kind of "okay". Little mold on ceiling but everything worked. One of the families, moved to another hotel. One families toilet was broken another fridg was not working. But the absolute worst part was how we were greeted. I booked two double beds, my 16 year old came so, 2 adults/2 children. The young lady at front desk informed me she would have to adjust my room rate from$85per night to $139per night. She then acted like she was going to do me a favor by charging the managers special if$105 per night because I had two children not one staying in existing bedding. Took me three hours and my documentation showing via trip advisor family and children are welcome for those under 18 using existing bedding. Three Hours in the lobby to resolve the issue. Never, never never will I stay at Best Western again!
We seem to always have a good experience when we stay at Best Western in the US and in Europe. This hotel was no exception. Room and exterior grounds were very well maintained. Hotel staff was welcoming and proactively provided many restaurant options. Hotel is convenient to I75 and downtown Acworth. This is a good place to stay before you tackle Atlanta traffic being about 17 miles North of the Atlanta bypass, if you are passing through to or from Florida.
I am used to Hilton and Wyndham properties, at a slightly higher price point, but with quite a bit more to offer. We were treated well by staff, the bed was clean and comfortable and the breakfast was good and well presented.
I visit this hotel with my son an we experience an excellent Customer Services, very friendly staff, rooms are super clean, Convenient it is close to the highway exit, nice breakfast area, price is good, they have a 24 hour convenio with a Gym close by.
Was getting late, had 2 rooms available. Front desk man was wonderful.......neat, professional and very helpful!!! As with all BWs, room was clean and neat and comfy. Breakfast was good. Can't go wrong with Best Western!!!!! Will stay here again if we come this way. The only downside is having to go past hotel and turn around to come back to entrance.
You couldn't tell by looking at the place from the road, but it is really nice. We only stayed for one night on our way, but would have stayed longer for sure. Probably the cleanest hotel room, I've ever stayed in. Everything felt clean, the carpet, the bedding. We loved the shower; the water pressure was phenomenal. Would gladly stay here again should the opportunity present itself again.
I would not recommend this hotel at all. Room smells.... I don't need to say anything else. When I booked the room directly with the hotel they did not book me for the correct dates. I arrived to find out that I was responsible to pay for an extra night because they had me coming in a day earlier. The area is sketchy. A guy tried to sell me jewelry outside my room.
My family and I stayed one night here on our way home from vacationing in Florida. We had had a terrible experience with a hotel we stayed in on our way down and decided to stay here on our way back. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, beds were comfy and the bathrooms were adequate. The only issues we had were: 1)we were staying in a non-smoking, lower level room that we think had been used for smoking at one time. The room had an odor that smelled like stale cigarette smoke. Luckily we had our trusty can of Lysol spray and were able to mask the odor and 2)the walls seemed to be lacking insulation as we could hear things from the room beside us. Especially when they flushed their toilet. It literally sounded louder than when we flushed ours...weird.
I had missed my check-in at my camping site, so I chose to stay at Best Western. The BBQ area was awesome, with a dog park close by. After eating I enjoyed the pool and met some interesting people, who were very friendly. The room was very comfortable and I was given enough time to rest before checking out at 11am, I'm used to a 10am check out at some hotels.
We stayed in this hotel recently. It was not as bad as I expected. I generally smell something nasty in hotels but I didn't really in this one. The worst part that I saw was some mold starting to grow on the ceiling of the bathroom. This is understandable because the shower really fogged up the bathroom quickly.
We stayed only one night at the Best Western Acworth Inn since we were enroute from Florida to Ohio. No problems that I can recall. Clean room, competent staff, reasonable breakfast, WiFi which worked.
Front desk lady was rude. After check-in, my family was using a small uncovered picnic table in a grassy area. We moved the table to a shaded area near the building so we could get some relief from the sun. The table was not blocking any room or or stairwell. She came outside, chastised us, and told us we could not do that and had to move the table back out in the sun. I told her my family and I did not want to sit in the sun and asked her if we could move the table back as soon as we were finished. She told us that that was not allowed and we had to move it back immediately.
When I have to be in North Atlanta, I always find this BW to be a quite place to work from. Courteous help and very nice rooms. Beds are very comfortable and great food places in old downtown, just a few minuests away.
We traveled until we decided enough for the day, looking for a good place to stay for night, we were using the coupon book located at rest stop. This BW had no coupon rooms left, but we used AAA/AARP rate and it was a good price. Good service, clean motel easy off and on interstate
Terrific staff, clean rooms, quiet and great location. Good hot breakfast. We were concerned about a bad review we saw but the staff eased our minds. Would definitely stay again. Hotel could use a bit of updating but is still very nice.
Stay 12 weekends a year, rooms are welcoming, meticulous, relaxing - recent facelift. Outdoor pool, exercise room Great location with restaurants, shopping nearby. The hotel/staff are a rare jewel.. .
We stay at the Best Western Acworth, GA once a year, traveling from Florida to Michigan and are never disappointed with our stay. Always clean, comfortable and a good value. Extremely important that they always accommodate my handicapped husband and that it's pet friendly. Thanks Best Western.
It was beautiful & relaxing very convenient to the location we were visiting and your breakfast was Aldo very good. We would love to stay here again on our next trip to Georgia witch will probably be in August.
Wonderful Stay, Clean and very homey, had all the comforts of home. Pet Friendly for those who have their pets traveling with them. Thank You for the great service, will be staying again in the very ner future.
Good place to stop 1/2 way to/from Florida. Best place to eat in this area was short drive downtown called Henry's Louisiana Grill. This hotel clean and courteous with a really good free breakfast. Liked the floor level rooms so we could back up and unload without going inside hallways/walkways.
We checked in later in the evening and were tired. We just wanted a place to lie down and rest before resuming our travel the next morning. The room was well-suited for that purpose. The entrance to the rooms is from the outside and there are no smoking rooms available. The breakfast in the morning was just what we needed to hold us over until lunch.
Spent one night in this Best Western hotel - conveniently located - very clean - safe and secure. Service was great - efficient check in and check out. Breakfast was fine and all I needed but not fancy. Recommend this hotel - all you need!
This hotel is a little difficult to get to coming from Atlanta. Either had to cut through McDonald's or drive past and do a U turn. There is no elevator and my wife with a bad knee had to climb stairs.
Well run Best Western. Rooms are well kept, everything functions and breakfast is certainly adequate. This is our overnight stay on the MO to FL trip twice a year.and it probably the only Best Western we use in the country.
We stayed in Acworth, after passing through Atlanta, on a trip north. The Best Western was clean and the receptionist was very helpful. The room was not large, but had everything that was needed. A good place for a one night stop on the way home. The breakfast was included and surprisingly good and varied.
Have stayed at this facility a couple of time when traveling. Easy access from the highway. Rooms are very clean & comfortable. Morning breakfast is good & adequate. Staff has always been helpful & friendly.
This hotel was very accommodating. I went back up to the office to get a first floor room and they found the perfect room on the end! Breakfast was great too! I will remember this location to stay again!
We knew from other reviews that there would be traffic noises and should have packed earplugs or a white noise machine; settled for just turning on the fan of heating unit. I really slept fine (comfy bed) until neighbors came in at 3 am from a night of partying. They settled down pretty quickly and I went back to sleep. The room and bathroom were clean with plenty of towels and in-room coffee set up (important to me). The television worked fine and I appreciated the easy to reach extra plugs on the bedside table lamp. A hair dryer is near the sink with small bottle of shampoo. Breakfast is included and there are nice options. (See pictures) My husband and I both enjoyed a pancake from the machine. He had eggs and sausage with his pancakes while I added yogurt and sausage. There are lots of topping options for yogurt or oatmeal; three cereal choices, fruit, juice, coffee, milk, and water (cold or hot to make tea). The breakfast room has a television and lots of windows.
As expected a nice clean room with great bathroom (NO MOLD) and wonderful water pressure! Nice pillow top bed made for a good nights sleep! Friendly helpful staff! PLUS love having sugar free syrup and pancakes as a breakfast option!
Had a great visit at this hotel. Have stayed here before and continues to offer same high quality of service. Whenever we were coming in the lobby for breakfast, we were greeted with a good morning. Upon leaving we were wished a good day or good evening. The room in which we stayed has had some upgrades such as new lighting, table lamps with extra plugs for electronic device charging.
Nice clean, quiet, place just a few miles north of Atlanta. Great hot breakfast with many choices. Great bed and pillows. Refrigerator with freezer. Road medians make getting in and out of hotel a little tricky but not impossible. New Shoneys Restaurant just down the road.
We use this motel when visiting family in the area. It has been consistently a good place for a night or two. Service is friendly and willing to make a stay as pleasant as possible. Easy off/on the interstate makes this easy to find. Rooms have been clean and the beds are comfortable. This is not a 5-Star hotel, but, for the price, it is worth considering. Complimentary breakfast is what one would expect.
Hotel was clean, easily accessible, and well decorated. Very comfortable. Sometimes you could hear the people upstairs walking around but that's expected based on the age and style of the hotel. Overall, I would definitely stay there again!
Rooms are OK... noisy unless you leave the ac on for background noise... the wifi did not work correctly.. it would work outside of the room but not inside.. they tried to fix it but did not work... I feel the front desk staff should have adjusted the bill for a credit but they did not
This is an older hotel. My main issue was the room door had a large gap between the jamb letting light in the room. It's close to the freeway so there is alot of traffic noise also. The room was clean and the breakfast wasn't bad I was up before they put the full spread out so I didn't take advantage of the full menu.
This was my first stay at a Best Western. The bed was very comfortable and the breakfast fantastic. They had a large selection at the breakfast. Staff was very friendly and when you met an employee, all smiled and spoke to you. Would stay at Best Western again.
Driving home from Florida (back to Canada), we stopped here overnight. At check in, our receptionist was very helpful. Our room was clean and bright. This best Western was dog friendly, but there was no pet smell in the rooms. The price was reasonable.
Needed a room during our long road trip. This is your basic road hotel. Decor is dated but room is clean. Front desk staff were friendly and professional as they were overrun with spring break drivers in person and on the phone in the late evening. Standard breakfast fare in the morning. Our room was facing the highway and on the upper level and there was highway noise throughout the night so be warned if you are a light sleeper.
Good value. Access a little difficult. Rooms getting to the point when a little updating necessary. Good breakfast selection and helpful front desk staff.Check out Trip Advisor for meal suggestions beyond the nearby fast food locations.
We always plan our trips south to Florida and north back to Indiana so that we can stop in Acworth, Ga. It is close to the half way point in our two day journey and we like to stay at this particular Best Western and have dinner in town at Henry's Louisiana Grill.
The hotel is just what you should expect from a mid-price hotel. Some of the bath should be updated (the faucets, etc.). Overall a nice stay for the night. All of the access is outside doors with nearby parking.
Everything was excellent. service, room and people. Wife had trouble with the WiFi. Front desk took care of it. I will be returning there next year when I Travel to Florida. I only stay at the Best Western when I travel
We did not have a reservation and simply stopped after making it through Atlanta to sleep for a few hours. We actually stopped at previous exit and all hotels were full, but the Best Western at that exit checked and indicated rooms available at this one. Front desk staff here were friendly and helpful, price for the night was reasonable($114). We checked in at 10pm and left at 7am....unfortunately before breakfast so unable to comment on quality of breakfast. Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, we had a second floor room, walls alittle thin as we could hear our neighbours voices, but nothing that kept us up and awake. Drawback was parking. The hotel was quite full and there were 6 trucks and trailers (with boats and campers). Each one took up 3 parking spots(all near the rooms) so we and others were directed to park along the road at back of property...made for a long walk to our room with our luggage then up the stairs. I feel the vehicles with trailers etc should have been parked along that road area.....so the 20 or so customers with single vehicles could have made use of the parking spots near the actual rooms. This could have handled better by the hotel, especially since it was raining. We would stay here again, but typically stay wherever we end up along I-75 on our annual trip to florida up and down the I-75 from Canada. If you are ending up at days end near this exit (#277) this was a good stopping point for the night.
It was a place to rest our head on Friday night - but it was overpriced for what we got. We were right of the highway, so you could hear that, and we could here the people in the room next to us showering - which was REALLY loud. The pool was closed - which was fine - but it said open seasonally - not really sure what that means as other hotels in the area that we stayed at had their pools open.
Recently stayed at Best Western in Acworth on way home from Florida. We usually stay here each year. Clean comfortable rooms with pleasant staff. Prices are also reasonable. Would not hesitate to recommend. The restaurants within walking distance are limited to fast food but we found a place a short drive away called Town Centre Grill where we have gone to eat the last three years which is quite good.
value was great, staff were friendly, room was nice and clean and the bed was comfortable and the breakfast was the best I have ever had in a hotel! I would recommend this hotel to families or couples for a good value for your money
The young lady checking us in was friendly and very helpful directing us to a place to dine for the evening. The Best Western was conveniently located just north of Atlanta which allowed us to get up early and pass through the city without a problem.
My husband & I have stayed at this hotel before on our way home from FL. And have found the room to be clean & the bed very comfortable. Would recommend it, also, the staff is very friendly. It has easy access from the highway.
The room met my needs for the night. There was no cable on the TV even thought they said there was. The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good and plentiful. The bed and pillows were very comfortable.
Nicely renovated. Restaurants in area. We just walked over to McDonald's,tired crop driving since 9a.m. and tackling Atlanta Sun evening traffic in the rain. Lodgings right off I-75, but quiet. Continental breakfast nice. Gravy/biscuits,eggs,pancakes. Saves time in morning for early start. Total cost for King room Sun mighty $96.19. Higher than Richmond Hill GA 2 wks earlier but still nice.
Arriving late, we weren't allowed to use a coupon. The rate stated that is was a senior rate but was the same as on the back of the room door. There was no parking close to our room, the room had an odor the tub wasn't clean. I wouldn't recommend this hotel except in a dire emergency.
When we called for a room, happily the front desk spoke English...very good English! This was very convenient on and off I-75 and a great stopping point on our 2 day trip to Florida. Very close to Cabela's so that we could walk a little after stopping for the day. Great shower!
It's more of an inn than a hotel. Excellent water pressure in the shower and good breakfast. Our kids did very well and the noise was minimal from outside. Beds were very comfy- I think they were pillow-top mattresses. The Acworth site was more removed from the hustle of staying closer to Atlanta, which is what we wanted.
While the hotel is a bit older, the rooms are very clean and spacious. The exterior doors made it convenient for us to back up our vehicle right to the door. I was happy to see biscuits and gravy in the free hot breakfast area. The hotel is pet friendly.
Needed a hotel for 1 night as we traveled back home. Came across this one and it was nice. Room was clean. Parking was convenient. Friendly staff. Refrigerator in room. Excellent price. Nice breakfast. Don't know that I would want to stay for a week, but for a night or 2, it is perfect.
This is about halfway for where we were going and just wanted a clean comfortable place for the night. This is right off the interstate and has been remodeled lately. It was clean and comfortable. They even offer take with you breakfast items if you leave early 5-7 a.m. The breakfast starts at 7. We left before 5, but thought that was a great thing. The only downside was we feel safer with all the doors inside instead of outside, but it allowed us to back up to our door for unloading and loading.
Pet friendly. Mostly renovated and updated. Friendly staff. Safe parking. Easy access from interstate. Nice bedding. Nice towels. Good pillows. Nice water pressure in shower. Restaurants nearby. Picked because it was pet friendly. Had to get late check out due to car trouble. We were past our checkout by 30 min but they went ahead and charged us the extra $20. If they would have waived the $20 I would have left 5 stars.
This hotel is not perfect, but I would stay there again and would encourage people to stay there in the future. I felt safe and felt the rooms were clean and I think it was remodeled in the last couple of years. Just needed a place to sleep and get ready to get back on the road and this place fit the bill well. The free breakfast was good and the staff was great, especially the young lady working the desk, she did a great job.
Our stay was very pleasant. The room was very clean and updated. The perk at the front desk was very helpful and polite. Enjoyed the continental breakfast was very good and the other guest were friendly.
The young man that checked me in was very helpful but he said he was new to this location. I think his name was Bob. The room was fine and it met our needs plus it was clean. This was my first stay at a Best Western and it will not be my last. The two young ladies that were taking care of the breakfast were very pleasant and attentive.
After driving through a storm in Atlanta traffic, it was a relief to find this Best Western to stop and rest. The staff was friendly, the room was clean, and we got a good. Ight's sleep before heading out to finish our trip home to Indiana.
very nice property, very clean. We were headed to Florida and it was just a Best Western on the way, we always try to stop at a Best Western motel on our trips. The outdoor sign was only half lite and we went by the place the first time and had to go back and look again.
I stayed at the Best Western Acworth in a couple of weeks ago for a tournament. The hotel staff was friendly, especially Anastasia, who was able to quickly check me in because of the tight schedule that I was running on. Since I was on a tight schedule, there was no opportunity to enjoy any additional amenities that were offered by the hotel. Parking was ample and the rooms were clean and comfortable. During the evening football game, we were able to fit nine people around the TV no issue. Great place to stay if you are looking for a clean, place for the evening when stopping north of Atlanta.
Great place to spend the night north of Atlanta . Reasonably priced. We stayed in a remodeled room , nice and clean. Breakfast same as other choices at hotels. Food well stocked. I'm a tea drinker, several choices and flavors. Dining area also very clean.
Good stopping point from Tampa to Louisville. Pet friendly which is what I needed. Had good area to walk my buddy. Location is in a good neighborhood and is easy off and on I-75. Friendly front desk personnel. Room was very clean. Newer motel than a couple others I have tried in area. Left early so didn't try breakfast. Will definitely be staying here again.
We stayed here based on previous reviews and we were not dis appointed. Clean room with comfortable beds and pillows, pleasant front desk personnel and reasonable room rates. We didn't have the breakfast since we checked out very early in the morning. We ate at the Mcdonald's which is adjacent to the hotel. Would stay here again.
Nice staff. Little pricey. Place right behind best western is half the price. The breakfast is very marginal. Next trip through I will opt for the $45 room instead of $90 here. Many options right at this exit. Shop around to get best deal.
Quick in and out.. Older hotel but rooms were updated. Good flat HD TV. Tub was small so was the bathroom. Toilet handle had to be held down to flush. Sheets were thin and old blankets. Bed were comfortable. Breakfast: eggs and sausage were cold, pancakes tasted like rubber. A lot of variety so we had something else. It was clean, no bugs, warm, and we will stop again. Hope breakfast is better .. If not cereal and yogurt. Staff very friendly. Did I mention $64.99 with coupon.. With tax $79.90 VERY REASONABLE..
The Best Western at Acworth Inn is a great place to stay for quick business trips or layover during travel. Nice and close to the Interstate and several fast food places makes the location convenient. Stayed there for a night for business reasons and did not find anything wrong with the hotel. The staff was very friendly and courteous/
I travel between SW Florida and Cincinnati, Ohio a few times a year. On my way north, I usually try to get through Atlanta and stay in Acworth at the Best Western. It is clean and has easy access to I 75. The staff is always nice and there is a decent free breakfast. It is next door to a McDonalds too so that s always good for an evening snack. The management always sends a thank you after I stay. Try it if you just need a safe and clean overnight stay in this area.
The rooms and breakfast area were super clean .The young lady at the front desk was very helpful when I asked for suggestions for a place for dinner, she was even kind enough to tell me what was her favorite, when asked.
Our favorite stay in Acworth when we visit our relatives. Excellent freeway access and nearby shopping. Fishing and watersports nearby, the continental breakfast is fine. Traffic noise is minimal and the motel is dog-friendly with excellent and safe exercise areas
Very comfortable place to stay. We stayed before a couple of years earlier on our way south and chose it again because of our good previous experience. It has a comfortable bed, good internet, and a good breakfast with a nfty pancake machine.
Stay at this hotel because the price is right, the setting is excellent- right off I 75, the breakfast room and food are exceptional. Know that this is an older style hotel with outside walkways - good for parking your car right at your door, but poor for sound proof rooms. It's an older style motel with friendly, helpful staff, fast free internet.
Rooms were clean and the a/c worked. This is your basic 1960s motel. Nothing fancy but everyone was friendly and the breakfast was fine. You have to make a U turn to get back on the highway. The gas station across the street is 40 cents higher than everywhere else.
pricier and no better than other local hotels; also, did not discount even though we presented AAA card at check-in. told us their 'system was down' at checkout but that we'd receive a credit to our account and an emailed corrected receipt. didn't happen. small cost for a valuable lesson in a hotel chain to avoid, I guess.
room was very nice , very relaxing. people were very nice. breakfast was good. would defenatley recommend this Best Western.Quiet, just off I 75 McDonalds right next door you can walk to it .We will be back.
This was a great place to stay between Tennessee and Florida. Clean rooms and staff was very helpful. They are also pet friendly. I liked being able to park right in front of the room and easy access to the interstate.
Stopped for the night on our way home from Flroida. Excellent service. We had a king size bed and we have to say it was the most comfortable hotel bed ever. Rooms are very clean and the grounds well kept. Nice breakfast offered but I would eliminate the eggs. Nice televisions but we would have liked more selections while relaxing after a long day of driving. We love that our dogs are welcome. Will return.
The hotel was having some work done but it was still a nice looking hotel. The beds were a little small for my taste but I forgot to ask for a king and this was just a over night trip. I would rate them higher but the beds were a tad small for two people.
can always count on a Best Western Hotel to be clean and have a very nice breakfast. No surprises. Always stay at a Best Western while traveling. Best Western is always close to the expressway for easy on and off. Look forward to staying at a Best Western gain.
This hotel always has great rates, better than the other hotels nearby and the rooms are always super clean and comfortable,Breakfast is great too. Lots of good choices to fill you up and get you started. I highly recommend you stay here.
Rooms were great, service was excellent- nice hot breakfast in the morning, all the amenities in the room. Very clean and nothing broken or cracked or worn. Also learned of loyalty program~ this will make it even better to stay with Best Western
We aim for this stop on our way to Fla. each Year to visit relatives this is why we are repeat customers. the rooms are good and clean the grounds are the same , the location is very convenient from the expressway
Have stayed at this hotel in the past and would consider staying at it again should we be in the area. We travel back and forth to Florida from Illinois and now that we are retired we don't like to push as we have done in the past. This hotel has always been a good choice.
Room was very clean and staff was wonderful! Couldn't have asked for better! The only thing I would say is because the doors to the rooms are not on the inside of the building, the noise from the highway is a little loud. Also, there are heaters/coolers in the rooms and they can be a little loud as well. Otherwise - great room for the value!
Used the coupon in the travel book that we got from rest stop. Updated room decor, and clean, larger rooms made this overnight stay very nice. Breakfast was typical. Really friendly staff is always a plus! Georgia tax....yikes! The new travel tax is a killer.
A great welcome, clean, comfortable room & a good breakfast & several reasonable restaurants within walking distance - just what we needed after an eight-hour flight into Atlanta! In short, everything we expect from Best Western.
I would not stay again! It just isnt as nice as many other Hotels at all! I felt that it was not up to snuff as many hotels are! It felt like I was staying at a hotel back in the 90's.. Just not my kind of hotel!!
Helpful staff, clean room, good breakfast and internet. Clerk offered good suggestions for local restaurants and give us some local history. We drove to downtown area were there was a lot going on regarding music and shopping.
The staff was wonderful, we had a few issues with our room, but they were very helpful and came as soon as we called. They took care of all issues and made us feel very comfortable. We arrived very late and even allowed us a few extra minutes in the pool to relax and wear out the kiddos after a long drive. I could have been happier with the staff.
The grounds are well maintained, clean walk ways and able to park in front of room to unload items. Rooms are always clean and never smell musky. Front desk person is always quick to check you in and very helpful with info on local food places near there. Great place to stay, been there before this visit and will be back again.
We come to Acworth quite often to visit my Granddaughter and Great Granddaughter and now that another one is on the way we will be here more often. Coming up again in Nov. Definitely staying at the Best Western.
Very nice & quiet. Clean & comfortable. Easy to find & very accessible. Receptionist was very polite & nice. Internet service worked well. Check in & check out was expedient. Enjoyed my stay & if in area again would choose the hotel.
We enjoyed our stay although a short one just long enough to sleep, shower, eat and go. The room was clean. The pillows were too big for me but everyone else in my family liked them. Breakfast room was great and the staff was friendly.
We choose to stay in the Best Western in Acworth, GA each time we pass through on our way from Indiana to Florida....several times a year. They allow us to have our dog at a reasonable rate and the amenities and staff are all very good.
