Everything was just perfect. Our room was amazing and large. The pool was super nice. The breakfast was fresh, hot, and had everything you could possibly want for breakfast. Hotel was extra clean and easy to get to.

This place has met all our needs for the 2 week business trip to Missouri, our room was very clean, linens and towels were fresh, the breakfast was very good and stocked up by Sandy, and I can't say enough good things about the front desk staff they are very helpful and friendly. There is a indoor pool and hot tub that is maintained perfectly,the hotel is in a good spot in town close to everything.plenty of parking .

The room was disgusting. The odor of the room was unbearable and the carpet/flooring was damp upon entering. We couldn't even stay at this hotel because of these conditions. Would not have been able to sleep with that odor and the feeling of mold and whatever else.

We have been coming to Washington to visit family for 6 years and this is always where we stay. The rooms and pool are always clean, the staff is super friendly and helpful, and the breakfast is great. Shout out to Lynn at the front desk who is amazing!! We were in town for a local wedding. The hotel staff was professional, friendly, and knowledgeable. Hotel was clean and tidy. There was a large variety of hot and cold breakfast items. This helped accommodate each of our dietary needs.

I have stayed here twice now, and each time has been fantastic. I highly recommend this hotel, clean, great breakfast, close stores for essentials, super nice staff. The clerk at check in was extremely rude and very loud with my 9 year old grandson. The room we were in smelled like a gym locker. The pool hadn't seen a good cleaning in months. Never will I ever stay again.

We searched for good hotels; Best Western Plus is the best option around Washington. Enjoyed the stay. The location was optimal to access the Downtown and other services. We would consider this hotel for our next trip.

We were in town for a zither gathering and stayed at the Best Western Plus Washington Hotel for five nights. It is right on the edge of town with easy access to the primary highway route coming into the city and a city street that goes directly into the middle of the historic town. The hotel is clean, bright and offers an excellent breakfast room. Washington is not a large town, so access to dining and entertainment is literally minutes away from the hotel by car.

Hotel needs an exterminator and new linens. We tried to find staff to help with loud guest at 2:30am and we couldn't. Hottub area had ants everywhere that kept crawling on us. Breakfast was good. Lady checking us in was very nice - but this hotel had lost of issues.

Dog friendly hotel with a reasonable pet policy. But do they really have to state that dogs are not allowed in the jacuzzi? Good location too. The handout of restaurants in the area was an especially nice touch. I recommend this hotel.

Where do I start you have no customer service what so ever as I observed you check in five different guest including myself, you are very robotic and ur spill informing the guest to their room is not very welcoming and sincere your Engagement with the guess it's very bare minimum yet it's not very WELCOMING

2 things that anybody hopes to avoid on the road is bad food and a bad experience at a hotel I stay in hotels nearly every night of the week and I wouldn't normally take to the review pages except for the coldness I was treated with by the Manager The hotel website also has several references to similar incidents with names Greg needs to study the word hospitality considering that is the industry he works in Stricken with food poisoning and then being treated like an inmate is not in Best Western policies and procedures Greg One day the way you have treated people will come to haunt you

The hotel is beautifully decorated, it is clean, and the staff is friendly! Not to mention there is an indoor pool and hot tub that don't disappoint! Family friendly and romantic weekend get away, your choice.

This is always one of the best, if not the best, hotels I stay at in the Best Western Chain. The property is upkept and top notch aw well as the indoor pool and hot tub. The staff is always super professional and friendly. I lost this location for a relaxing stay cation when possible and highly recommend it to anyone wanting a relaxing stay at a great location!

I was surprised by the quality of this Best Western. I don't know if I had ever stayed at a BW before or not. This was the closest hotel of any kind to a family gathering. Property is very well cared for, staff is nice and the rooms are well appointed and clean. The only thing I can remotely complain about was the shower didn't have the greatest pressure. I've had worse but also better.

We had stayed in the hotel room and we had noticed something by the window and it was a wasp inside the window along with lady bugs. We had disposed of the wasp and lady bugs and when we returned, there was another two wasps, spider and more lady bugs. We had contacted the front desk and wanted to talk to manager but the manager was not in. We had also notified the cleaning staff and they did nothing to help us.

Great quiet, convenient location near stores and restaurants. The hotel was very clean inside and out. Pool and gym were open and the gym had wipes, etc. for the equipment. The gym must not be used much, the clock hadn't been reset for the change in time. LOL. Wish their breakfast had different hours on the weekend - 6-9 is too early. The front desk clerk said they are limited to county laws about hours and length tho. Bed was super comfy. The room fridge is larger than the standard square one which was nice and the coffee maker was Keurig and had reg and decaf Green Mountain coffee. Love the Pharacopia bath products! A big plus for me is the make up mirror in the bathroom and the large full length mirror on the clothes closet door. Breakfast had lots the standard cold items (including mixed fruit – although that was not very good) and lots of yummy hot options including scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage, biscuits & gravy and waffles. My only complaints were about the design of shower; we had a walk in. It didn't have a ledge to place your foot to shave your legs; the shelves that hold your shampoo are slanted so everything kept sliding off, the bumps on the shower floor to reduce slipping are smooth and don't work (especially if there is soap or shampoo). All the edges of glass from the shower floor to about a foot up and the shower door's tracks were filled w/ black mold. Yuk (and unhealthy)! I reported it upon check out and was told it would be reported to housekeeping. Overall it was a very pleasant stay!

I always forget to write a review for this hotel because we take it for granted. We have family in town and stay here (when my sisters Airbnb's are rented). It is always clean, and welcoming. Lynn is so friendly and always remembers us. The breakfast area is nice, sweet lady. Good coffee in rooms and refrigerators I do wish they could make a designated smokers area far away from the front door. Hate having to walk thru smoke to get in. But even if they did, that seems to be the gathering place at most hotels for smokers. Ugh.

This Hotel did not disappointment us one bit. Easy, quick check in. The room was clean, comfortable temperature when we walked in, and had a very clean smell. The location was clean, close to shopping and restaurants. All the staff were very pleasant, helpful, and willing to assist me with anything that I could have needed. I must say the breakfast was EXCEPTIONAL. We had SO MUCH to select from. Everything was cooked to perfection. Tables were clean, and positioned to maintain social distancing, that allowed us to eat outside of our room. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are wanting to stay in Washington, MO.

Our ample size room came with a king bed, microwave, mini fridge, good lighting and a generous supply of bath linen. Although there was a grab bar outside of the shower there was no grab bar in the shower. The view from our east facing room window was of a peaceful, grassy and wooded area. The property was clean and well maintained. The desk clerk was friendly. A Walmart and several other shops and dining choices were nearby. A full range of breakfast items were available for dine-in. Hand sanitizer stations were prominent in common areas. We would definitely stay here again.

To expensive toilet seat was loose. Love the landscape. They do have a great lady working in the breakfast area. They will get there's in the end not to worry . Mose of the best westerns really suck for the most part. Quit staying there years ago but just stay nine night and over half were terrible. One of the hotels Im protesting the pay and thinking about taking them well they'll fine out.

Arrived late evening after attending funeral. The room had a musty odor. We should have immediately went back to front desk and asked for different room, but we were exhausted and thought if we lowered air conditioner temp and increased fan speed, it might clear up. However, after waking later in the night there was still an odor but too late to ask for different room. The next morning, with better lighting, we noticed a stain on the wall above the TV that appeared to be from a soda that had splashed or exploded. Also, when we opened the shade for the window the plastic wand had what appeared to be blood stains and also on the shade. We expected higher quality from this branded hotel.

Our first room smelled BAD. Whole room smelled like Mold. Come to find out that whole side of the building, smells like mold. We had a suite and it was way overpriced for how dirty and gross it was. They made it right and moved us to a normal room that did not smell like mold and adjusted the pricing of our stay but you can find better accommodations for $100 a night

Very clean and quiet hotel. Had a full breakfast. The front desk was helpful with list of restaurants. My sister-in-law was traveling with us, I has not reserve a handicap room for her and the front desk was able to change with no problem. Would stay again if in the area. The hotel is about 10 miles off I44. When you come into Washington you can see it at the stop light.

We booked this motel on our way home to Michigan from Texas. The reviews were true. The staff and motel were excellent. The room was clean, the pool was exceptional, and the full hot breakfast was delicious.

Front desk clerks were very polite and quick! We had a problem getting our remote to work. A lady came fairly quickly and helped figure out the problem! Breakfast had lots of choices and attendants were pleasant. Loved having coffee pods in the room, instead of a coffee pot. A lot more sanitary! Quite pleased with our stay.

The so called suite was sub par with the rest of the hotel. I've stayed there before and know this room was an afterthought. It looked to be a store room converted into a guest room. It had a noisy dehumidifier in it and the HVAC closet couldn't be closed. The carpet was rumply as in not stretched as it should have been. I was very disappointed in this so called suite.

This hotel did not care that their entire parking lot was being jackhammered and repaved. They did not warn us when we made the reservations and didnt lift a finger to help us unload our car across three steps to get into the front door. The day manager said talk to the night manager and the night manager said there was nothing she could do. The hotel owner stood outside watching the jackhammering while we obviously struggled to get through the dust, steps and noise. We wont ever stay here again.

Dear Twilly_13, I want to lead with my most sincere apologies for the issue at hand. Unfortunately, the repaving of our parking lot was necessary and due to many weather related delays (snow in April!?!) construction had been delayed by several weeks. Check-in time is 3pm or after and this construction was both scheduled to….. and did take place on a Monday starting at 11am, being fully completed by 5:30pm so as guests arriving that evening may not be inconvenienced. I am happy to see we were able to offer an early check-in to one of our spacious double queen rooms quit early in the day. Unfortunately this happened to overlap with the time construction was taking place. Though our front desk attendant offered to both assist with luggage upon check-in, this offer was refused. Our front office manager also offered a gracious discount for the inconvenience, where the entirety of the stay is at no cost. It is our end goal for all individuals to feel as though they are staying at their home away from home while with us and I am so sorry to hear we did not achieve that level of service this stay. Your feedback is being taken to heart and the appropriate steps will be implement. I invite you and yours to visit us again in the future, we will have the welcome mat rolled out as you drive up on our now smooth asphalt!

This is by far one of my favorite in this chain. It is always kept top notch, clean, the indoor pool and hot tub always emasculate. We reserved two rooms ..One was on the main level, the other was on the third floor. The room on the third floor had an odor and upon closer inspection we noticed mold and what appeared to be water damage on the wall. Our son in law, daughter and grandson stayed on the third floor, and they all ended up with a sore throat and runny nose. The room smelled musty and moldy. Call it a coincidence, but everyone was healthy before we booked the rooms, so it had to be the air in the room. They didn't switch rooms because it was the suite, and we knew all the large rooms were booked. (Room 302). Breakfast was terrible. The way it was set up , which required us to take the food back to our room and not eat in the breakfast lounge totally sucked. No waffles. No fruit. Just as well not even have the breakfast, as it was a nightmare arrangement. It was the complete opposite from the last time we visited. For the price we think this hotel is overpriced. We have stayed in this hotel for the last 4 years during our show in July, and noticed every year that it has gone down hill a little bit each year. We will be looking for a new hotel next year.

Rooms are very quite with very little hallway noise and far enough from the road that traffic is not a issue. Beds are a little firm. Rooms are very clean. Check ins are always quick, especially if Lynn is working.

We traveled with our kids and some family. The rooms were so comfortable, and lots of room to move around and not tripping over each other. They were so clean and home like. The pool and hot tub were amazing and kept the kids busy. The coffee and breakfast was really good. There was a nice outdoor sitting area off the dining room and we sat out there and ate so we wouldnt disturb other guests. We loved our stay.

We chose Best Western Plus in Washington for our wedding guests, and also used their meeting facility for our rehearsal dinner and also a catered breakfast. The Event coordinator was awesome with recommedations and went all out to make sure all went smoothly. Add the front desk was great to help .All my guests were pleased with the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. Location was central to the Riverfront and also to nearby Kohls, Walmart, Target and pharmacy if my guests needed anything. The staff excellent, rooms clean, and the entire 4 days were great for all.

No issues other than no breakfast during the time provided. They said between 6-9 but at 845 there was nothing. Not even one is and morning person and the people who dont get up at 6am dont eat and I think that is ridiculous for any hotels

We came to town for a family funeral and the entire family stayed at this hotel. The rooms are very comfortable and modern due to a recent major renovation. We all gathered in the dining room for family time and found the facility a really good place to kick back and visit with each other after the services. We stayed two nights and we were very pleased with this hotel. Tastefully appointed and in a convenient location. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. This hotel had three levels, first floor, second floor, and down floor indoor swimming pool and fitness center. It offered free wifi and breakfast. Great group place and tastefully decorated. Employees were very friendly!

Pool, spa, real breakfast food! Not just a continental breakfast. There are plenty of options to chose from. Clean, great water pressure, plenty of towels and the friendliest staff! A must if you're in Washington,MO. Close to restaurants, highway, movie theater and stores.

Was my first time staying at this hotel and stayed for four nights. I've been to a lot of different hotels, as I used to travel for work. I can tell you this is the best hotel in the Washington/Union area. The hotel looks great inside and out and is clean. There is a good variety of stations available in the fitness room, the pool was great and had a nice warm temperature. The spa was nice and toasty, as well as deep. The included hot breakfast was great with lots of options from eggs/omelets, sausage, bacon, biscuits, sausage gravy, bagels, toast, donuts, muffins, cereal, waffles, juices, coffee, etc. Relatively fast check in and instant check-out. The room was great as well, nice TV, deep and wide tub, good counter space, included a fridge, microwave and K-cup coffee maker. All of the staff was super friendly and amazing, particularly the guy working the evening shift at the desk. The only reason I did not give this a 5 star rating was that the beds were uncommonly hard, after the first night, we had three or four mattress covers put on to make it tolerable. Would be great if they could switch out the mattresses. I will stay here again when I'm in the area next.

This Best Western Plus is a great get away hidden gem in the chain! It is is historic Washington, MO and a newer hotel which is heads and shoulders above the rest! I usually stay at Holiday Inn properties, but this was the best option in the area. The employees were friendly, the room was nice (kind of like an older style Holiday Inn Express before they remodeled). It's great to have the microwave, mini fridge, and coffee maker. Clean room, everything worked fine. I really like their pool, it's heated and usually no one there and the hot tub was nice too. The hotel itself is close to lots of things, shopping, food, movie theater, etc. Not that it's too big of a town to be far from anything. To me it's surprisingly expensive comparatively, but maybe because they don't have a lot of good competition? All in all, I would recommend it for your stay.

We absolutely loved our stay here. We were welcomed and waited on, from the moment we walked into the hotel lobby. Our room was extremely clean and gorgeous. The food was amazing, as they had such a huge assortment from which to choose, from scrambled eggs, bacon to waffles, cereal and yogurt and fresh fruits. Everything was cooked and tasted fantastic. While I attended a weekend course, my husband and daughter hiked a trail in one of the nearby state parks.

All the amenities were great. Very comfortable and clean. Breakfast was very good. Staff always ready to help. The location was just off the highway and easily accessible. Business room provided computers and printers. Access too internet could be more user friendly.

Stayed one night here on our way to Eureka Springs, ARK. Previous Trip Advisor comments were the reason we stayed here. Very clean hotel...we did not do anything but arrive late and leave early. I have no idea about the breakfast or other things. The most important thing to us...it was clean and safe. The only complaint I would have is, local St Louis NBC TV station did not work at the hotel for some reason.

We stayed in an adjoining room. One king and one with 2 queens. Good for 6 people, not much extra room. Clean rooms, microwave and fridge in each room. Breakfast was awesome with hot and cold choices. Donuts were the best. Make your own waffle (strawberry and plain) were a hit! The pool and hot tub were nice. Location is close to shopping and eating and only about 50 min to St Louis. No complaints!

I stayed here for a wedding and was easy access, big rooms, hot breakfast. Noise control was a little lacking but tolerable. Temperature control in room was a little hard to keep regulated. If I had more time I would have checked out the indoor pool and hot tub.

The grounds and staff were pleasant, breakfast was adequate. The room had a very musty smell and the bathtub floor is slippery (hazard). The musty smell was almost unbearable. The amount spent on the room is not worth the stay.

We stayed 2 nights at the Washington, Mo location. Staff was lovely. Continental breakfast was good. Building very clean. Really only negative about our stay was the air conditioning made our sheets feel damp, which made it harder to fall asleep. And didnt work as well during the day. Very reasonably priced. Nice hotel

I stayed at this hotel for a wedding out in wine country Missouri. The hotel is super clean and very well maintained. Also, the people working there are some of the friendliest I have ever dealt with. My check in attendant was extremely nice and made the process fun and quick. Furthermore, their breakfast, which is complimentary, was very good. It was simple fare: eggs, biscuits, juice, coffee, cereal, bacon, sausage, fruit...but very high quality in my opinion. I think their gravy for the biscuits was some of the best I have ever had. They just have a really nice place with a top notch staff! Overall, I would very much stay here again if the need arose and would suggest it to any others needing to stay in Washington, MO.

This BW is off the main highway about 4-5 miles. It's very clean and quiet with friendly helpful staff. They take a dog. We came here after a negative experience with the BW in Rolla. we were glad we found this hotel as it was a gem.

The hotel was clean and reasonably priced but only after I checked the prices every day. It was originally $50 more expensive for 1 bed, 1 night, 1 person. The breakfast was delicious and included waffles. Yum. The person at the front desk was very friendly with me but very short with another person getting coffee. I will probably stay here again but I will definitely make sure I get a good deal.

We stayed here July 19, 2019. The gentleman who was working that evening was excellent. After my friend and I got to the room the air conditioner was not working and he quickly got us moved to another room. There was a ball tournament in town and at the time the hotel was quite noisy but he assured us that it would quiet down and it did. Breakfast was also very good.

The hotel is clean and has well appointed rooms. The room smelled a bit musty at first, but when the air conditioner circulated the air, it was fine. We had a king bed with a mini frig in the room with free wifi. The beds are firmer than I prefer and the pillows are not plush, but okay. The indoor pool and jacuzzi are clean and well kept with towel service. There is a hot breakfast from 6-9am which gets high marks for having a good selection ranging from scrambled eggs to waffles as well as pastries, fruit and cereal. They also have honey as a sweetener along with sugar and sugar substitutes. The staff at the front desk is professional and friendly. We would stay there again.

We experienced a very satisfactory stay. We needed a handicap room, which was ready when we arrived early. Everything was squeeky clean and the personnel were all helpful. They offered everything you could want for breakfast choices. We had everything we needed in our room and it was kept tidy. We were there to tour the Wine Country, and their photos on the walls were even that theme. This is a great place to stay.

Super surprised as I usually expect something wrong. My stay was so surprisingly well my only knock is they didn't have those plastic laundry bags hanging in the closet which I use to store my dirty clothes. Hope to visit again

Great location near shopping and restaurants. Hotel very nice looking and clean. Breakfast offered good selection of waffles, biscuits and gravy, eggs, bacon, yogurt, cereal, etc. We appreciated the noise policy they have that Patrons have to sign to assure there will not be noise in the halls during the evening hours when people are sleeping.

Where to start,t whole stay was amazing! The breakfast had plenty of options for all dietary needs (including gluten free and dairy free). We were here for a wedding and the stuff was amazing and offered options to keep the other hotel guests happy as well as appease the ones who wanted to hang out after the wedding and talk. The look of the hotel was gorgeous (even had a chandeleir in the lobby).

We were in town for a wedding. Everyone was very helpful and kind. Our room was super comfortable and we had everything we needed to have a great stay. Loved the layout of the room, bathroom and easy access to the stairs. Breakfast was hot, with lots of options. Fresh fruit, yogurt, granola, oatmeal, Eggs, bacon, sausage, fresh biscuits and gravy and Lots of coffee. While I didn't eat everything I heard no complaints. Housekeeping and front desk personnel were friendly and did a good job.

We were visiting from Southern California for a National dog show at the Purina Farms venue. Washington, Mo is only a10min. drive from the show. Lots of great restaurants and very historic near the Missouri river

This was a nice place to stay, room looked like new, staff very friendly and helpful. Has breakfast that starts at 6:00 am, Has pool and small work out area. I is close to place to eat, shop, gas. It is a ways from a major interstate. Nice and quite, on a hill.

I was in Washington Missouri on 4/12/2019 and stayed at the Best Western Plus. It is a very nice hotel! Close to hy way 100, 47 and 94 with each one going to a different place. The breakfast had a very nice choice of items. The room was quite and comfortable and nicely furnished. I recommend this hotel!”

Great staff, clean, comfortable room, pretty good breakfast. Have stayed here a couple times now. Pool & fitness room ok too. Small parking lot. Lots of shopping and restaurants nearby. Washington is a nice historic town.

I was in Washington recently and stayed at the Best Western Plus. It is a very nice hotel! I arrived early in the day and stopped at the hotel around 1:00 to see if there was "by chance" a room that was available. I also knew that 3:00 pm was the published check-in time. The man at the front desk greeted me and when I asked about the possibility of getting into a room early his response was "Let me go see if I can find a room for you." He left the front desk and came back a few minutes later and said "Yes, we have a room for you now." The breakfast had a very nice choice of items. The room was quite and comfortable and nicely furnished. I recommend this hotel!

I stay at the hotel often. It is clean and quite. I like the location being on the edge of town. So no highway noise. The breakfast is always good and hot plus they have a good variety of hot tea that I enjoy.

This is my go-to when staying in the Washington / Union area! Staff are very friendly, rooms are always very comfortable and amenities are top notch. Breakfast offerings are very nice and fitness center is well-equipped.

It was my daughters birthday so we decided to get away for the night and we choose this hotel for the indoor pool, hot tub, and hot breakfast and we were not disappointed! Our room looked and smelled clean and our beds were very comfy. While unpacking I did notice some dust on the back of the bottom shelf in the restroom though. The hot tub in this hotel is THE BEST hot tub I've used in a hotel! The jets actually work, really well! My kids and I had a great time and we will definitely be coming back to this location!

The hotel was very clean with the exception of the hot tub, which appeared to have had soap put it in recently, so it foamed up badly and you could see dirt in the foam, and the pool, which had debris in it that was there when we arrived and still there when we left. For a free breakfast, it was better than expected. We were given a late checkout with no issues at all.

Very friendly and courteous. Big help for us out of towners We had early flight out and they had a shuttle to take 5 of us to airport. They helped us in everything that we needed. Had a comfortable and peaceful atmosphere. Will stay again.

The staff at this BW are some of the best I've seen at any BW hotel. They are friendly and accommodating, and always there to make things right. The rooms are large, clean, and the beds are very comfortable. The breakfast area is the biggest I've seen of any BW Hotel. It's a good location if you're in the area, near many places to eat and shop.

Suites were HUGE, clean and comfortable. Beds and pillows were allergy free and extremely comfortable. Bathrooms big and clean. Probably the best price for a queen suite I've ever seen. Staff is remarkable! Definitely recommend this hotel!

The room looked recently refurnished, except for a mysterious rip in the carpet. There was abundant furniture, good light, a nice new shower, and even a magnifying mirror. The bed was comfortable and the place was quiet except for some sounds due to doors and the elevator (which we were next to). The breakfast was very good and included a variety of fruit. We would stay there again.

The Best Western in Washington is west of St. Louis, but an easy drive to any activity you may have planned in the St. Louis area. Purina Farms is about 20 minutes away and Six Flags is around 30 minutes from the hotel. It is a very clean hotel and the staff is very friendly.

Overall this is a nice hotel but a couple gripes: My room had a musty smell. Not worth the bother to request a different room but enough to remember and be annoyed by it. Running the AC did not get rid of it. Otherwise a nice room. At check-inn the attendant was nearly rude and not very helpful (but this was easy to overlook).

I put together a trip for a group of antique vehicle motorists. Many months in advance I made arrangements for the group to stay at this Plus only to discover that I was not added in despite my emails. When I arrived the desk clerk had no reservation for me after several others checked in and went off to their rooms. He said he had rooms but had no reservation for me and wanted to charge me a much higher rate than the prior discount group rate I had arranged with the manager, Christy. A copy of our group's itinerary was produced detailing our prior arrangements. Still, no doing. Some thirty minutes expired as we haggled. "Why can't you just give me the room at the agreed on rate so we can move on," I asked. Two others (without reservations) in our group were hearing all this and began a iPhone search for alternative accommodations. I finally got the clerk to contact the manager, who was not present. Tediously he was being instructed how to find our group's reservations by phone while typing on their computer. Meanwhile the other two announced they found a B&B, an entire house, for the three of us for $150. Hearing this, I announced to the clerk, "Cancel my non-reservation." I then walked out in disgust. I'll never lead a group here in the future and suggest that you don't either.

The hotel is nice, not busy, and check in is simple. We stayed here for a wedding weekend. The suite rooms on the lower level have a strong mildew smell. The room we had on the last night was on the 2nd floor and the smell was less intense. If it were not for the smell I would have rated this hotel a 4.

BW in Washington Missouri was a short way off of I-44, but felt much more personal than a roadside place. We enjoyed poking around in Washington, but having a truly comfortable hotel was the best part.

My stay was enjoyable and I recommend this convenient and clean hotel to those staying in Washington. The only downfall I had was that there is no shuttle service available and very few Uber/Lyft drivers. I left my vehicle at the Vineyard at Riverbend Chapel the night before for a wedding and had no way of getting back to it. I sat in the lobby for about 40 minutes before my friends finally came down and we're leaving too so they gave me a ride to my car. I had asked the front desk twice for more options half expecting they would finally just offer to take me since it's about 5 min down the road. They were pleasant and helpful in all other aspects. Even though that aspect didn't work out well I still enjoyed my stay.

My wife and I recently stayed here for one night. We stayed in a room with a Jacuzzi tub. The room smelled a little damp when we walked in, but looked clean. The hotel has a noise policy they make you sign at check-in which basically says no sounds after 11pm and after one warning they kick you out on second offense. I personally love this policy! The breakfast is exceptional. The staff was attentive to the food. The seating seemed a little light, but there is some outdoor space to sit if needed. The staff was courteous. Would definitely stay here again if in the area.

Had two different rooms...do to damp mildew smell. First room the bed sheets actually were damp. Staff was courteous and tried to be helpful but the problem is bigger than they're capable of handling.

Great service at this hotel. Even when nearly full, the front desk clerk went out of his way to move us to a new room when the first rooms ac wasn't working great. Breakfast is typical hotel breakfast but there are chocolate chip cookie waffles! First day had a nice fruit salad thing that I wish was there the next morning. Great little store by the front desk for snacks and drinks that aren't overpriced. Small parking lot is the only bad thing I'd have to say about this place. This is a great hotel that I would stay at again if I'm ever in the area.

The room was clean and staff was very helpful which is the reason I gave it 4 stars. However, this hotel needs some work. The room I stayed in was small, handicapped accessible. There is virtually no soundproofing and I could hear everything the patrons in the next room were saying. Fortunately, there was a TV I could turn on and the patrons next door weren't up all night. In previous visits I don't remember this location being pet-friendly. The walls were scraped and the room could use a coat of paint and some remodeling. They now allow dogs on the 1st and 2nd floors. If you have pet allergies, you would need to request the 3rd floor. This is problematic for allergy sufferers since all of the hotels in Washington, MO, are pet-friendly. (There are not a lot of hotel choices.) Lobby area is nice. Breakfast is so-so. They need to work on the coffee which wasn't very strong and slightly bitter. (Your competitor Super 8 has better coffee.) If you have kids or like to swim, there is a nice pool on the lower level. There's also a *spa* which looked like a hot tub to me. If you are staying in Washington, MO, this is the best hotel. Next time, I will look into bed and breakfast options.

I enjoyed the cleanliness and friendliness of the staff. The complimentary breakfast was very nice and the coffee was very good as well. The location is perfect for visiting family who live in town. The availability of the onsite computer and printer was very handy. The quietness of the facility and the cleanliness all served to make my short stay comfortable and easy to manage.

We rented the banquet room at Best Western plus and was so pleased with the room and the staff. The room was so large, had a kitchen, and it included table cloths, coffee, and tea. The rate is extremely reasonable and the staff are some of the nicest people I have ever met. I would definitely recommend Best Western plus!!!

My husband and I where staying at the hotel for our 7 yrs anniversary. And I had fell in the stand up shower and I fractured my C1 vertebra and damaged my hip and back and I can hardly walk anymore. There is no grip on the floor, and no handles in the shower. But they are denying that they are at fault in any way and that there showers are safe. Because no one else has fallen in the shower. I have over $40,000 in medical bills and still going. They are not taking any responsibility. The company was not concerned about it at all and have dismissed me regarding the matter. The staff was very unprofessional about the matter. They didn't even want to fill out an accident report for their insurance company. They would not return my calls, when I was finally able to get there insurance companies info they had already fixed the shower floors so the insurance company doesn't believe me, even though I have pictures to show the shower floor had no type of adhesive on the floor. The insurance company said cause no one else had gotten hurt staying in the room we where in they where not at fault.

Gina, The well-being of our guests has been and always will be our primary focus. All protocol was followed by our team members. Following our personnel making certain you received medical attention first and foremost (as this was and is our primary concern), an incident report was filled out by your significant other. We have not altered any showers as you claim, however we do take all incidents to heart and have since inspected all tubs and showers making certain they adhere to all safety requirements. We truly wish this accident hadn't occurred, however the constant bashing of our facility on multiple sights is uncalled for. As discussed, once you chose to contact outside parties regarding your accident, the incident was removed from the hotels hands. The appropriate contacts, which may best assist you, have since been provided.

The hotel was okay. The staff was very friendly and helpful but the hotel had a particularly odor once you entered. Some might like this but my family and I were not one of them. The room in itself was fine unfortunately the curtain and doors to the closet were defect. Once we informed about the issues the staff was very quick to sort it out. The breakfast was very nice and the staff were quick to make sure that there was enough of everything for everyone. All in all it was an okay hotel but due to the odor my family and I would probably not choose to stay here again.

Hotel was convenient, very clean. Breakfast selections were very good. Staff helpful and courteous. This was a four night stay and I was exceptionally pleased with the service, size and comfort of the room and bathroom. House keeping kept a spotless room each day. Newer hotel. Facilities nicely maintained including pool and fitness room. Excellent choice for anyone. Only wish it had a restaurant/room service but area has several wonderful restaurants.

The Best Western Plus in Washington, Missouri was selected by the planners for the National Zither Gathering Concert in April. The hotel provided a pleasant residence...and plenty of options for breakfast which kept us all happy. The parking is close to the building and even though the hotel is near Hwy 100, we did not notice any road noise. Getting into town for practices and the main performance was easy...five or ten minutes. The rooms are nicely furnished and clean. The staff is helpful...as one should expect in such a hotel. The only downside...and this is minor...is the windows do not open, so all ventilation must come through the machine. Ours was not too intrusive, but sometimes the room seemed a little stuffy.

Clean, comfortable rooms, nice grounds, helpful staff. Dog friendly and nice breakfast with lots of choices. Very quiet with lots of food choices in surrounding area. Close to Purina Farms where I was visiting.

Had to make a quick trip to Washington for a family wedding. Due to work schedules, it was tight. BUT, reserved the room with the jacuzzi. It was lovely - and helped relieve the stress of a busy work week.

We were traveling from out of state for work and the hotel stay in general was ok but our interactions with the overnight front desk receptionist Robb made our trip that much better. If you have the opportunity to converse with him, he is a great employee and person which in any hospitality situation goes a far way.

My wife and I stayed one night in March and found the hotel to be very nice, clean, and comfortable. It was much nicer than I thought it would be (I did not expect bad, just middle of the road). I really liked the bathroom setup where there is a counter under the sink vanity where you can place items. Also, the sink counter is wide, so you have room to place your toiletries on top. the hotel is in a relatively quiet location (I am used to traveler hotels by the interstate...). We were on the third floor, on the NW side. It was very quiet, regardless of the fact that there were small children in the room across the hall. An interesting item at check-in was that we were presented with a noise policy which laid out expectations on proper use of the hotel common spaces. I liked that idea. A suggestion for future guests would be to make sure your room is not near the elevator or backing up to the kitchen. The elevator bell is a bit loud. again, I had no problems and was not near those areas. the breakfast was good and well stocked. the normal waffle batter was a bit runny that day, maybe just not mixed properly. they have a blueberry mix as well and that was pretty good. There are not a lot of lodging options in Washington, MO, but fortunately, this one is a good choice.

This hotel is a beautiful place to stay, and very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed the seating area in the lobby where we could visit with friends in a lovely, comfortable setting. The staff was very friendly and helpful, always smiling. We definitely recommend this hotel.

Comfortable beds. Great breakfast. Friendly staff. One of the first things we do when we check in is to clean the air filters in the room. Amazingly, the air filters in both rooms we had were very clean.

Great location and easy place for families. Breakfast was very similar to other BW's. Staff was friendly and room was clean. Rooms are updated and comfortable. The only complaint I ever have with Best Western are the pillows but that's a personal issue so I bring my own.

I have just recently spent 4 nights at this hotel for a business trip. The beds are very comfortable. It is a quiet location. They have a free hot breakfast. I didn't have time to use it... but there is an indoor pool at this hotel. All of the staff go out of their way to be super helpful. I would highly recommend the Best Western Plus in Washington, Missouri to anyone traveling in that area.

A little bit off the beaten path (interstate) but worth the 6 minute drive. A nice hotel, in a nice town with pleasant surroundings. I would recommend and I would stay there again if I came back through the area.

The bed was too high for mom to climb up on, I had a little trouble myself. The couch was too low for her to stand up from. She spent most of the night in the armchair. The bed was kind of hard. Everything else was fine and the breakfast is just delicious.

This is a to notch location since they reopened as a BW Plus. Staff is awesome and the rooms are beautiful. We always chose this first when visiting family in the area and are disappointed when we can't get it.

This was one of the best "Best Western" hotels I have every stayed at. The staff was super friendly, indoor pool very clean and nice along with the hot tub. Highly recommend staying at this one when in the area!

This hotel is very nice and clean, it jas recently been redone and the rooms are very nice. The bed was very comfortable, and there was very little noise from the adjacent rooms. The breakfast was standard for included breakfasts but it had a good selection to choose from the coffee was very good and was available all day.

The fold out couch was very uncomfortable to sit on muchless lay on! The jetted tub didn't work. The pillow top mattress was hard as a rock and the king suite was over $150 in Washington! I have stayed in nicer places for $100!

My husband and I stayed here on a Saturday during a special weekend for us. The hotel location is great because you are a short drive to Herman, Missouri and all of the wineries in and around it, but you don't have to stay in a B&B. (No offense meant, we like a little more privacy.) The hotel is easy to find with some convenience stores and restaurants nearby. The staff was friendly and welcoming, our room was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was really good. Price wasn't too bad either. This was a great place to stay while visiting the area!

My husband & I stayed here a 2nd time due to a death in our family. The staff was very accommodating even letting us check in early to get ready for the visitation (my husbands father). My husband was able to get a very good breakfast in the morning. Not just a continental breakfast but a full breakfast. Keurigs in room make getting your 1st cup of coffee very easy. We used the hot tub after visitation it was the relaxation we definitely needed. Do not hesitate to stay at this hotel. It is extremely clean the beds & pillows are comfortable and the staff are very nice!

The hotel was about 30 min drive from work but well worth the round trip. lots of places to eat and shop across the road. we also found Washington Down Town very cool with good BBQ and pubs. my co-worker and I will be back next time in the area. The staff was very helpful.

My family prefers this BW over Drury Inns, which is where we used to stay. The rooms are larger, dining room is larger, staff are super helpful and friendly and we have enjoyed our stays here much more than other places.

The rooms are beautiful and very nicely decorated. Check in and check out was a breeze. Only complaint is that the maid knocked at 9:00 am and before we could get to our door, she was in the room. She asked for the towels. I told her we were checking out soon. I could understand if it was closer to check out, but 9 am?!

Items were left in rooms and they were NOT turned in to lost and found. Thieves! The hotel was nice and staff friendly BUT you can't steal from your guest. Not a good way to get customers back. The Hotel was nice and clean. Services were good. Had shuttle to and from wedding. We had 20 rooms for this occasion and they steal from you.

this appears to be a new hotel, at least by it's cleanliness! rooms were large and clean. the bed was very comfortable! they had a full breakfast and the dining area was large and comfortable. the commons area was also quite large and comfortable. it was situated just off highway 100 and was extremely quiet.

We were here for our daughters wedding and had approximately 10 rooms reserved for our family and out of town guests. We also rented their salon for the hairdresser and cosmetologist to prepare the wedding party. The staff was professional and friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. Wonderful experience, we would stay here again!

Hotel was conveniently located close to several wineries in the area. Very clean. Breakfast was great. Staff was great. Comfortable and quiet bed room. Fitness center a little small but everything worked great. I would recommend this hotel.

Appearance, location, service, and cleanliness were acceptable. Not sure if pets are allowed in the rooms. Woke up with 10 bites on my arms and shoulder but after a shower and lotion itch went away. Once o got to the airport though rash really acted up. Hope they were fleas and not B.Bs!

Great place close to everything very clean and helpful staff love the town of Washington so much to do there we will be back love the event center being on property easy parking and entrance into the hotel!

Great hotel, real plates and glasses in the room and for breakfast. A tactile improvement over the nasty paper or plastic. I really enjoyed the experience of staying at this facility in Des Moines. I would definitely come back next time I come to town.

We recommend this hotel. It is conveniently located just off hwy 100 and close to a big shopping center and downtown. Washington has many interesting shops and restaurants also that are within easy access to the hotel. Stay there and you will be very satisfied with the Best Western Hotel.

Very nice hotel, smelled nice when I walked in. Staff was very helpful, they even made sure I was called at 3:30 a.m to make it to the airport. Very nice breakfast with many selections. Stylish, modern rooms with a microwave, fridge and Kurig. Very satisfied!

We had a great experience this past weekend. Only 2 complaints was the bed was super uncomfortable and breakfast room wasn't large enough. We ate bfast on the patio that had went cushions. Not a deal breaker and not hotels fault. We would be back in the future!

Nice Hotel, good location for us, handy to restaurants& shopping, decent price. Greg at check in was great very friendly and professional. Lady in Breakfast area was extremely nice asking how we were and if we needed anything wishing us a good day each day we were there and remembered us each morning. All staff were super didn't get names, highly recommend. Breakfast was good but after 50 days on the road it lost some of it's luster not hotels fault. TV channel selection poor in my tastes too much sports and talking heads lying their butts off.

Our stay at the Best Western Washington MO was easy to get to although we took the scenic route on the way there and the fast path on the way home...it was easy to locate. Good location for numerous local wineries. We were attending a wedding and were treated super by the staff. Nice clean rooms, close to shopping and other conveniences. They had a great breakfast. I thought the cost of the rooms were little pricey..but I'm tight.

The rooms are comfortable. Relaxed atmosphere. Great Breakfast - what else do you need? We enjoyed our stay as short as it was. If we had to stay here again we would in a heartbeat. It is close to everything.

We were in Washington for a wedding near by and the choice of hotels is a bit limited. We were definitely surprised by the Best Western Plus! The rooms were large and clean, the breakfast was wonderful and had many options, and the staff were all very nice!! In addition they have large common areas where we all sat and visited. Would absolutely recommend!

We were made to feel comfortable and appreciated as guests. The overall appearance of the hotel is beautiful. While I would not recommend the lower level, which is poolside, I highly recommend the hotel. The lobby is well decorated and inviting. The guests rooms from the first floor and above are well ventilated, beautifully decorated and very comfortable.We didn't have time for breakfast, however, the aroma was quite inviting, to say the least! The dining room is beautifully decorated. The staff was friendly, courteous and accommodating. There is shopping right across the street, with many stores to satisfy every shopper! Restaurants are across the street and scattered nearby, to satisfy everybody's taste. Although we were only there for one night, we made the most of it by experiencing the shopping and a nearby restaurant. Hopefully we will have an opportunity to go back, for fun the next time!

We stayed 2 nights, and everything was excellent, as expected of a Best Western Plus hotel. Bed was clean and comfortable, room was large. Microwave and refrigerator worked properly. Only complaint was the soap and shampoo provided was poor quality. Liquid body wash was thin and did not lather. Took the whole bottle for one shower. Shampoo and conditioner were the same poor quality. Hand lotion was fine.

I have stayed at this hotel three or four times over the past two years and I am on my way back again later this month. I do love fancy city hotels, and certainly wouldn't mind staying at a 4 star hotel in downtown St Louis but I choose to stay at this hotel because it's so convenient when visiting family in Washington. And happily, I have found that they have consistently friendly staff (without much turnover it seems), clean rooms, comfortable beds (firm enough without being hard - so many hotels have mushy beds with a dip in the middle), plenty of pillows, and an excellent breakfast (I love the donuts from Donut Palace on weekdays, my kids love the hot breakfast bar, especially the waffle station). In short, I'm appreciative of a hotel offering of this quality in a smaller market, and while it seems a bit pricey given that it isn't particularly unique or in some quaint location (it's not, and I've stayed at both the Chase and the Cheshire for less), it's still a great value because of it's consistent comfort, friendliness, and convenience when I'm in the area. Can't believe we've never even made it into the pool. Maybe next time. (We've never brought our dog, but I learned that they are welcome here too).

We had been at Best Western hotels before and not been impressed. This one definitely changed our opinion and we would choose BW again. We stayed here 3 nights to view the eclipse and the gentleman who handled our check-in was very good and gave us lots of info on the places to eat in town. The lobby area was very nice. Loved the complimentary breakfast each day. They even had little to-go bags with fruit, granola bars, water, etc. to take with you if you didn't have time to have their breakfast. The room was spacious, clean, and very nice. Liked having the free parking right outside the hotel.

Nice room with great pillows. Not the usual stiff, thick pillows of other hotels. Just enough support and springiness. The breakfast was above average with good, varied selection of hot and cold foods. Reasonable rates.

Family members from Wisconsin Georgia and the UK gathered for the eclipse on Aug.21st. There were thirteen of us plus two dofs. We stayed three nights and everyone was very impressed with the facility and the service. Effort was made to locate all rooms as close as possible. The rooms were clean and very comfortable and everyone was very happy with their stay.

I travel for business a lot. I very much enjoyed my stay at this hotel - both inside and outside extremely clean. The lobby decor was very pretty. Large breakfast dining room with plenty of food to choose from (included in nightly room rate). The room itself was nice - very spacious and comfortable bed. Easy access to downtown Washington and to the highway.

Pleasantly surprised by this hotel! The front desk staff was courteous and helpful. Rooms were very clean and stocked with all amenities you could need including mini keurig, mini fridge/freezer, and microwave. Pool and hot tub were clean and uncrowded. They also have a gym and guest laundry facility. The continental breakfast was stocked with both hot and cold items including sausage, biscuits, yogurt, eggs, bacon, etc. Also they have complimentary coffee 24/7 and it is amazing!! Slept great here!!

The front desk staff were very helpful and informative about local restaurants and wineries. The hotel was clean and nicely appointed. The breakfast buffet was always refreshed and they had lemonade with donuts every afternoon.

In Washington for one night and needed a room. Don't usually stay at Best Westerns, but it looked like the best choice. I was more than pleasantly surprised -- I was amazed at how good this property was. Check in was prompt and friendly, room was spotless with good amenities and breakfast was far more than the usual "free breakfast." I made a couple of requests for special considerations and all were honored with a smile and in one case offers to go beyond what I had requested -- all at no charge. Not being familiar with the naming criteria for Best Westerns, I don't really know what the addition of "Plus" is supposed to mean, but in this case I would say it was a Plus Plus.

Very clean, friendly, and accommodating. Had no issue with getting the amenities needed for our 9 mo. old. In this area, this has to be the best option for a hotel stay. A little pricey, but worth the comfort and convenience.

This hotel is a bit off the beaten path from I-44 but worth the trip. It is quiet, peaceful and the staff is first rate, plus there's plenty of shopping across the street. I'd recommend it any time. Breakfast is ready and waiting before you hit the road again. It was a really nice beginning to our trip.

My husband and I stayed here two nights. We had a very nice room on the lower level which was right by the indoor pool. I enjoyed the pool and was even happier that the room was quiet enough that we couldn't hear the families playing in the pool. The only problem we had was the air conditioner was not very efficient. We were having good weather so I didn't complain. I did tell them to get it checked on checkout. The breakfast was excellent

We have stayed at Best Western Plus Washington several times. This lovely property offers great rooms, super comfy beds, and quality linens in a safe quiet location. We even found a Keurig machine and K-cups in our deluxe king room. Breakfast is always a treat with hot and cold items, cereal, juice, milk, yogurt, pastries, and fresh cut fruit. There are a number of restaurants close by.

We were in Washington, MO for a wedding, and this was one of 2 hotels available. This is a great place to stay and convenient to many restaurants, shops and the downtown area. The hotel was clean, with a great breakfast bar, indoor pool, and fitness center. The rooms were extremely quiet also.

This was the best sleep I have ever had in a hotel. The bed was perfect. I think Best Western hotels have a good breakfast, and this one was exceptional. It is located in wine country and a good place to stay in the area.

Nice hotel just eight minutes from I-44 with many restaurants and nearby shopping. The staff is friendly and the breakfast was good. They also provided a grab and go bag of goodies for the road. As well as, our bed was very comfortable.

I absolutely love this hotel. They have amazing beds (best night sleep ever). The breakfast is the best Continental breakfast i have ever had. Amazing customer service!!!! Very nice pool and hot tub. If you are into plants there is a nursery right behind this hotel that is the best one I have ever been too. Planets are the best looking plants I have ever seen and are very informative about their products!!! Lots things to do in this area too like wineries so many wineries. lol

Dear D9818QDjuliab, Thank you for the awesome review! We happy you and yours were able to enjoy our full hot deluxe breakfast, which taste even better after having had the 'best night sleep ever'! Hillerman's Nursery and Florist at the bottom of the hill is a great spot to visit on a beautiful morning, followed by visits to wineries across the river. Montelle, Blumenhopf, and Balducci wineries are just a few local favorites. Next time you stay with us, ask our desk agents of other local attractions as they will be eager to assist in recommendations.

There was a group of roughly 90 ladies. Evening shift at the front desk they were awesome very helpful and kind! Over night desk lady! Very rude to some of the ladies that were in our group! Room: very up to date and comfortable! The bed was the best part! They had a million pillows on the bed!! Very clean room and the bathroom was surprisingly clean also! Pool/workout room: clean and nice also! I would totally recommend this hotel other then the over night customer service wasn't that pleasant :)

The Washington Best Western Plus is one of our favorite places to stay overnight when we ravel between OK and MI. The property is very well maintained, it is attractive inside and out. The staff have always been very pleasant & professional, the owners & management have done a great job assembling/training this team. Rooms have always been clean & comfortable, never a problem with the hotel wi-fi. The breakfast area is always very clean,bright, and comfortable. The breakfast items prepared each morning are always fresh and tasty, they have delicious coffee - Its the perfect way to start the day! Lynn is one of our favorites at the front desk, she is a real asset to this property and always takes care of us wonderfully - Thank you! Its a short drive off of I-44 but well worth it - We highly recommend staying here

The staff were very friendly. The price was reasonable. The hotel was clean and quiet. When you check in, they have you sign a document that you were notified of a zero tolerance policy on noise. Not sure if they had problems in the past, but our stay was very quiet and slept well. Free hot breakfast in the morning. Much better than the Super 8, which is the only other commercial hotel in this city.

Love the colors, very soothing and relaxing. My kids loved the pool! Beds were so comfortable and the pillows too. My whole family slept soundly. The bathroom could have used an exhaust fan, but that is the ONLY complaint.

I am a dyed in the wool Hilton Honors guy, I travel a lot for work and I usually only stay in a Hilton property. Well I had to be in Washington MO for 5 days. I choose at first a Homewood Suites in Chesterfield MO and thought I would drive to my destination each day. I found after getting halfway to Washington that it was going to be a task each day. I then looked in Washington at the available hotels and found this Best Western. I am usually snobish and would not even look at a Best Western. Well shame on me for being stupid. I called and a very nice man spoke with me, verified he had a room for the time I needed and at the price I wanted. I then checked out of my hotel and drove to the Best Western. I went into the desk and met the man, he let me see the room first and I found myself surprised. The hotel is very nice and clean and bright and warm feeling. The room I got was huge and very comfortable. Bed was nice and soft. Clean and fresh what a awesome hotel. Better than a lot of Hilton properties I have stayed at. I will not be so quick to dismiss a Best Western again.

I just drove through five hours of rain, tired and exhausted. I pulled into the Best Western Plus and was greeted by the desk clerk. She was friendly, efficient but went above and beyond that to let me know what was around the hotels,.restaurants and shopping. I love it when they go the extra mile. The rooms are huge with a separate bedroom and a living room with a small dinning table. The exercise facilities were adequate next to it was a pool and Jacuzzi. The place was clean the breakfast is what you expect from a hotel. But it was a great place to stay in Washington MO.

We stay at this hotel when visiting family. Very clean, good location, and friendly staff. It is by far the nicest option in this small town and I would not stay anywhere else when visiting. I will say the ownership knows this and prices their rooms accordingly.

Very Clean, Friendly and good location. Very good breakfast and breakfast lounge area, which included big screen TV.. Fitness Center was available 24 hours. Pool and Jacuzzi. Nice lobby area that provided easy access to second floor.

A great, well maintained hotel with a great location. The staff was pleasant and helpful, the room was clean and comfortable, wifi was good, bed was very comfortable and quiet, and had a nice hot breakfast.

Nice Hotel, friendly staff, everything you need. Breakfast was the standard fare. And you can't beat the price (free). The room was big, some water had been spilt but there was a humidifier there drying it out. I had booked the wrong week but they were able to fix that for me.

What a great place to stay after a long day touring vineyards and enjoying Oktoberfest in Hermann.Beds are comfy, as well as the pillows. Not a lot of pressure on shower. ?? but enough to get the shampoo out. Very pleasant staff. Breakfast options are fantastic. Would recommend staying here any time

I wish we had a chance to stay longer. The jacuzzi tub was amazing. The bed was comfortable. We slept in so we didn't get to partake in the hot breakfast. The gentleman at the front desk when we checked in was very cold and seemed like he didn't want to be there, but the woman who was at the front desk was very pleasant.

I do apologize for your check-in experience, though - you were checked in by a very hard-working, kind, and wonderful person who puts in a lot of hours and carries a lot of responsibility here. He was covering another person's overnight shift after already putting in a full day, so you met him at a time when he was exhausted and needed rest. Our rooms were just perfect, clean and convenient! The staff was way beyond expectation, offering us any help we might need, smiling each time we entered and exited, and they even took some family photos of us. I would stay at this hotel again in a second!

We spent 4 nights here...came to do the wine tours. We stayed in one of the large suites and loved our room. It was in the lower level, across from the pool and hot tub... door to the outside was close. Free breakfast was very good, great selection Hotel is very clean and attractive and located by great shopping and close to downtown Washington. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Highly recommend.

We stayed while visiting family with our 2 small kids. The room super clean and the staff is awesome! Lots of little extras like 24-hour coffee at the desk were much appreciated for these parents of toddlers! Huge shopping center right across the street with a Target. We will stay again for sure.

Other than a few ants on one dresser in the room-the hotel was fine. We had several rooms for a wedding near by and they were very helpful and the breakfast was pretty good. Room was nice and big with kitchenette items-sitting area. Worked out well for us.

Clean rooms. Friendly staff. Well lit parking area. Comfy beds. Made me feel right at home. The Grab n Go breakfast bag is a great thing for anyone not having time to enjoy the hot breakfast. I always try to stay here when I need to be in town.

The check in was fast, guest services agent was very helpful. Room was quite and comfortable. Recommend top floor and cool air at 68 degrees. Shower doesn't have enough water pressure. Coffee maker in the room helps with early morning head start.

This hotel was wonderful. The room was very clean and had nice decor. The "free" breakfast was good for it being free. It had plenty of choices of both cold and hot items. The staff was very friendly. I would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants a nice clean place to stay at a great price. We will definitely stay here again if in the area. Washington is a really nice town and we found some really good restaurants in the area.

We stayed here for our nieces wedding. The employees went out of their way to help us wiith anything we needed. The breakfast was awesome as well as the rooms, etc. The only downside was that all the vending machines were out of order. But they had a snack store by the front desk where we could buy drinks and snacks.

Very clean hotel in the center of Washington, MO. Hotel staff was accommodating and the breakfast made me happy each morning.The room was decorated nicely and beds were comfortable. The hotel was surprisingly a diamond in the rough.

Wonderful service and rooms, dogs were allowed which was such a lifesaver and for an amazing price. Also love that Denny's is in the same lot . The rooms had a beautiful modern look to them that made them so unique

This location was a great experience, beds were extremely comfortable, bathrooms were modeled well and the staff was attentive. To add, they provided a warm breakfast of bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, and they had a waffle maker. Surprisingly, there was also a pool and a hot tub. Great job guys.

Generally a good hotel, but on last visit staff was cleaning rooms at 8pm, creating a lot of noise. Hotel is clean. Staff is pleasant and helpful. Would stay here again, because their aren't many other options.

Very nice decor and amenities, breakfast was nice - hot and cold items available. Many places try to have breakfast portion as cheaply as possible, but not the case here. Staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely seek out another Best Western Plus Hotel again!

We use BW quite a lot while traveling in the US. This hotel is one of the most expensive we have used. The appearance and amenities are above average. However, the service was below expectations. We have had much better experiences at other BWs for far less money.

The hotel is very nice and clean. The staff is very unfriendly. Breakfast service was poor. Food was good but they were out of everything. Location was good close to shopping and downtown was easy to get to.

This was not the case this past weekend, however, and there were some serious failures on our part that do not reflect what is typical of our hotel and staff. I reserved a room with a king bed and sofa bed. I got a king bed. I asked for the room I requested and was told they were booked but could do a roll in bed. They said they would bring it right up. Thirty minutes later it still was not there so we left for dinner. When we came back it still was not there. The bed was hard. Maybe some will like that but I didn't. The breakfast was average hotel breakfast. I paid one hundred thirty four for the room and I feel it was over priced. However it was clean.

Dear Brandi, I am sorry your experience with us was nothing special. We strive to make all our guests' stays very special and pleasant. We care very much that your room was not what you requested, so in looking up the reservation, we found that a third party of another third party vendor had booked your room. Just as a future reference, when booking through third party vendors, please always follow up with the hotel directly to make sure your reservation is correct. The hotel will only know what the third party vendors provide, and if that is incorrect, it will not be known until the guest informs us. In regards to the rollaway, I am sorry you found it too hard and that it was not delivered in a timely fashion. This matter will be addressed with our staff to ensure that rollaways are always provided promptly. I hope you will afford us another opportunity to provide you with a great experience at our hotel, and also to give you another look at all the wonderful and varied breakfast choices we have to offer for our hot, deluxe breakfast.

Usually I would not give such a high rating to a chain hotel, but the customer service here really sends it over the top. We were making a LONG cross country trip on US 50 and were looking for a place to stay. There really is not a whole lot available on this stretch of the road. I had read some info on Washington, Missouri and being a sucker for historical towns, decided to leave US 50 and head in that direction. We called ahead, and they had a room available. The young lady at the desk who checked us in was friendly, helpful, courteous and professional. We asked if there was anyplace to eat that was NOT a chain restaurant. She recommended a place in the historical section, offered to make a reservation for us, and gave us excellent directions to get there. (The restaurant was a great choice) She also was able do direct us to a convenience store / gas station that sold wine and was right across the street. The hotel overall looks fresh and modern. There were plenty of convenient outlets in the room for the electronics. Our bed was comfortable and everything was clean. The WiFi was free and fairly fast. Breakfast was included in the price and was pretty good with a nice variety of hot and cold items. The dining and lobby area are all nicely appointed and very comfortable. This is a great choice for the area.

The building was beautiful, most every employee had a happy face and tone to their voice, the bed and pillows were EXTREMELY comfortable (seriously, I always bring my own pillows since hotel pillows are usually crap, but they were wonderful and firm, albeit a bit small/square), and our room was clean, tidy, and perfect. Normally when she stays in a hotel, my girlfriend is tempted to go out and buy sheets, and she searches every nook and cranny of the room to find what housekeeping missed... and boy has she found some interesting things. But we walked into our room and there wasn't a single issue. The sheets and pillow cases were a crisp and perfect white, our window had a lovely view, there wasn't a speck of dust anywhere, no smell or scent of any kind. It was one of the best, if not the best, hotel experiences I've experienced.

This Best Western was very clean and bright! Checkin and express checkout was a breeze. The staff was very professional and courteous. The breakfast was fabulous! They had a large full service breakfast. Sausage gravy and biscuits, bacon, omelets, bagels, danish, and other items. Everything was Fabulous!! First time I have stayed in a Best Western Plus and as I travel throughout the USA I am certainly going to look for a Plus in the name of the Best Western. I would rate this Hotel to a Marriott or Hilton Hotel! Service was great and I think I would stay here for the breakfast alone.

There aren't many places to stay in the area. We were traveling from St. Louis to Kansas City for work but didn't want to stay in a hotel over Memorial Day weekend. Someone in KC suggested the MO Wine Trail. We were traveling for 3 weeks with 2 big Labrador Retrievers so finding dog friendly lodging and restaurants along the MO wine trail took a bit of pre-planning. The Best Western is a nice hotel to stay at and it's pet friendly with a small pet fee. The rooms are spacious and and the beds are comfy. It was the best night's sleep I had during my 3 weeks of travel. I enjoyed the Washington area with all the wineries nearby. There were lots of wedding parties staying at the hotel. We saw two brides leaving the hotel when we were checking in. There is a great grassy area to take your pets to potty near the hotel. Although one dog came back with a turtle in his mouth. My husband told me to go over to a tree where he put the turtle and as I bent my head over to look for the turtle I saw a big black snake. I screamed, jumped, ran back to the hotel parking lot and left the dogs over in the grassy patch!!!! The hotel reservation staff said the nursery draws snakes and turtles for food. So my advice is if you take your pets across the street to the grassy area near the trees watch out for black snakes! The hot breakfast was nice in the morning and has an outdoor patio to sit on. We used the fitness room and the pool area during our stay too. We were only there for one night but really enjoyed the hotel.

This is the best Best Western we have stayed at. The Saddle Brook BW in OK is second. The front desk staff are friendly, courteous and knowledgeable about the area. The room staff were working hard all the time, with the two weddings and a funeral (not a title of a movie, we were there for the funeral] our room was clean and ready for each time we returned. I would highly recommend this BW hotel.

This was by far the best motel in the past 7 years. The staff was excellent and far above the regular expected service. We were met at the door and knew the questions to ask to meet our expectations. We had received an E mail a couple of days before we began our journey. Check-in was wonderful and our room was the best from top to bottom. Each time we met an employee they greeted us and answered our every question. This was the first time a breakfast attendant did not have to rush off to attend to some other task.

My boyfriend and I took a weekend trip to the St. Louis Area to visit Six Flags and the Zoo. We were looking for comfort and value. We found it here! The bed and pillows were amazing and the breakfast was great too. We both loved the "BW" logoed waffle iron. So cute! The décor was stunning and truly top notch. I felt like I was in a Hilton! It's about 40 mins. away from the zoo and only 20 from Six Flags. All the convenience of being in the city without the noise and confusion. Good job guys, we'll be back next year for sure!

We recently stayed here while heading to several spots on a road trip through the Midwest. What a nice surprise as property is quite new, easy access, spacious rooms. Hotel staff very friendly, and service focused. Breakfast was inline with normal free breakfasts, but community room is spacious and nicely furnished. WiFi is good and channel selection on tv is very good. Great choice and you won't be disappointed!

This was BY FAR the nicest Best Western Hotel I've ever stayed in - maybe because it was a Best Western PLUS. The rooms, beds, bathrooms were lovely- more like a Hampton or a Hilton. Immaculate. Breakfast was great. They offered: make your own waffle, sausage patties, bacon, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy, fresh fruit, cut up fresh fruit, yogurt and toppings, toast, bagels, coffee, milk, and juice. If I could, I'd give them 10 stars. While we were there visiting family, we also went to several wineries. The rooms have a nice size refrigerator too.

We reached out to this venue to have our rehearsal dinner in the banquet hall. It was the best decision. Dawn was extremely professional, caring, and very organized. We were able to rent this space to have our rehearsal dinner and bring in our own catering and alcohol. The facility clean, spacious, and literally perfect for what we needed. We were not looking for an extremely fancy or over priced location. You can definitely dress up this venue for a fancy rehearsal dinner but I didn't feel the need because it was perfect just the way it was decorated and set up. Dawn and her staff were very responsive and accommodating with all requests and questions. We were able to stay there with our family and friends and enjoy the entire night. Thank you best western plus staff for all you do! I highly recommend to anyone who asks.

Truly enjoyed our stay at Best Western Plus in Washington, Mo. We plan to visit again for a long weekend and winery tour. This is the ideal location to visit as it is easy access from I44. The staff went out of their way to retrieve something from my room when I left it by accident. The rooms are clean and very nice, the beds are very comfortable and decent prices. There is a walmart just across the street for travelers that need extra supplies or forgot something.

I stayed in this motel Nov. 2012 as a Sleep Inn. I was pleasantly surprised with the remodeling and upgrades put in the rooms. I was also pleasantly surprised how clean the entire motel was. The staff was friendly. The price is low considering the amenities.

I stayed while working in the area. It is the best hotel in the area. The beds are comfortable, the rooms are clean. My only complaint is the two double bed room was small. It didn't have anywhere to sit other than the desk or a chair that bearly fit in the corner.

The next time you come, I would like to recommend the room that most of our corporate guests reserve - our Deluxe King, which is much larger than a standard room, has the easy chair and desk as well as a sofa and coffee table. I am sure you will find that much more to your liking and the cost difference is minimal. We hope to see you again soon!

We suggested this hotel to out of town family and they enjoyed their stay. Our kids even stayed over the night. It was clean and the staff was friendly. Better than many other hotels that we have used

Clean, friendly staff. Keurig machine in room!!! Great hotel. Wish every hotel was like this one. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Everything smelled nice. I wish we had been staying longer, so my kid could have used the pool.

If you want to be rudely awoken at 5:30 AM, request room 107. It is attached to the kitchen. You will hear clanging dishes, banging pans or serving ware and if you are lucky enough you will get to hear the breakfast preparer's loud obnoxious cough.

Dear Shane, Tripadvisor is meant for guests to objectively share their experiences at travel destinations rather than as a platform for harming businesses. I was disappointed to learn you were awakened by someone in the kitchen in the early morning hours and discussion has been made as to how to remedy that situation for our future guests. It was my intention to offer you a free night's stay at any Best Western Hotel or a refund on your stay with us. This is a courteous gesture because we care about our guests. However, because proper channels for making a complaint were not used, the offer has become void. In any future hotel stay, please contact the hotel's front desk clerk as your first line of satisfaction. Never wait until days after departure to make your needs and requests known to management - report the problem immediately. If, after speaking with the desk clerk, your are dissatisfied, bring the matter to the hotel's general or guest relations manager. If it remains unresolved, then contact the corporate office. If you still do not receive satisfaction, then objectively make your experience known on travel sites allowing others to decide for themselves if the hotel was intentionally being rude or obnoxious, or singling out guests with the intention to cause discomfort.

Great Facility! Clean comfortable and Everything you need!!! Pool is really nice and has a FULL workout facility. Room was updated beautifully with a really nice shower. Facility has definitely been redone recently

My husband and I had a funeral in Washington so we stayed overnight here. The front desk staff was very accommodating and very friendly! Big shout out to Lynn at the front desk. She took very good care of us. Our room had 2 queen size beds and a mini frig, microwave & keurig coffee maker. We were supplied with k-cups and if we needed more we could get them. The room was A+ clean & fresh. The bed was firm but comfy. The pillows were the best part of the bed. Sure would like to know where they get them. The pool & hot tub area was very clean. Spent some much needed down time in the hot tub. If you only need 1 night or 1 week I highly recommend this place. You will not be disappointed.

My family had a wonderful stay here. We stayed in a Queen Suite, which housed my family of 6 with space to spare. The beds were very comfortable, much more so than I expected. The hot breakfast was great, definitely beyond the simple continental breakfast so many hotels provide. Fast in room internet service kept my kids all occupied on their various devices. Every staff member I encountered was pleasant and helpful. If I ever needed to stay at a hotel in Washington again I wouldn't even look anywhere else.

Staff were all wonderful, hotel is clean and breakfast is nice. The amenities for shower and bath were nice. Internet was easy to begin and my family enjoyed their stay. We feel the breakfast needed to run a while longer as we didn't want to get up so early being we were on a different time zone.

Overall the hotel is nice, some of the staff is friendly while others are not. Also in addition I was there on a business trip so majority of my time was away from the hotel so upon my arrival back the day before my departure I discovered that my lock on my suitcase was cut and that my iPad was taken. Upon informing the hotel staff they became very defensive. So my advice would be if you stay at this property to just be careful.

Dear David, While your frustration at the loss of your iPad is certainly understandable, please keep in mind that your claim that the hotel staff stole the iPad is unproven. There is no evidence that it was even taken while you were at the hotel - our security footage shows this. This is the first time in the history of this hotel that anyone has accused our staff of breaking into a locked suitcase and stealing an iPad. If you will note, this very Tripadvisor page contains testimonies of guests that have lost their valuables and they have been found by our staff and returned. Our own police department will verify that we have no record of any string of thefts coming from this hotel. We are very proud to have people of faith and good conscience on our staff, people that have been with the hotel for many years and have never had such an accusation leveled at them. When it was reported that your iPad was missing, our staff provided you with immediate assistance and care. We encouraged you to make a police report, listened to your story of how and when the theft occurred, asked questions, and offered advice. We took no offense, neither defended ourselves, and willingly honored your request to change rooms for the night following the discovery of the theft. We took your concerns seriously, and continue to this day to care about what happened to you by working with the local authorities to see your iPad recovered and the person responsible brought to justice.

The hotel was comfortable, and the staff were very helpful. All areas were very clean from the rooms, to the breakfast area, to the pool area. The breakfast offered wasn't any different from other hotels, but everything was hot and tasted good. Would definitely visit again.

Nice, clean, plus huge Jacuzzi Rooms! Friendly good service and location central to everything in Washington, MO area... wineries & weddings! All night gas station / mini-mart across the street came in handy when the lobby pantry was bare. Very nice breakfast too! Everything you could ask for at a reasonable price. Planning to return for a staycation soon.

This was our first experience with this property but it will not be our last, we have found our new favorite place to stay over on trips between OK & MI! The decor throughout is really well done, it's attractive and well maintained. The staff that we encountered were all very pleasant, and showed concern that we were satisfied with everything during our stay. After traveling by auto for 10 hours the pool and spa were perfect for working our our sore muscles and getting us ready for a good nights sleep. Our room (a king deluxe) was very nice, loved the accent wall, the furniture placed in it looked nice and was comfortable, the mattress and pillows were comfortable. We also liked that the closet had a nearly floor to ceiling mirrored door. The bathroom was also decorated very nicely with upscale fixtures & toiletries. Breakfast the next morning was very tasty and freshly prepared. The room it was served in was large and decorated very well, it was warm & inviting. This Best Western Plus does an excellent job all around!

We have stayed at the Best Western in Washington Mo. on several occasions and have always had a very pleasant experience. The staff is always welcoming and the rooms very clean and comfortable. Boss said it was the best Christmas party in 27 years. The Expo Center was perfect for our party. A few of us also stayed at the hotel. Great to walk across parking lot. Booked this hotel in a hurry, based on location only. The place is easy to find, and is in very nice shape. Effective and friendly staff quickly relocated me to another room after discovering freshly steam cleaned carpets not completely dry. Above average quiet in the rooms, decent hot breakfast, and close to a shopping area with stores, restaurant, etc. Will repeat when in the area.

My visit here has caused me to rethink Best Western. What a great hotel! Check in was a breeze, the room clean and up to date. The bed was a great sleeper and nothing at all to complain about in the bath or room. The breakfast was superb, plenty of variety and lots of food. Not only that but it was on the counter before the scheduled hour in the morning, which worked great for me. The checkout was by bill under the door, and no problems with the bill either. The location is convenient and parking lot safe. Nothing to complain about at this hotel but, if there were, I am certain any issue would be immediately addressed!

This hotel is very clean and the staff is friendly. I especially like the strict no noise policy they have, it does insure a nice quiet night of sleep. The hotel is in a great area for shopping and dining. There is even a movie theatre just down the street. The hotel sits beautifully on top of a hill.

I stayed here recently while attending a dog show (but without my dog) at nearby Purina Farms. Cannot think of a single negative thing to say about this hotel. Their official policy is that they accept only dogs under 50 pounds, but there were at least two German Shepherd Dogs there during my stay. If they would change their official policy, they would probably get a lot of business from dog shows at Purina Farms (of which there are many, all year long), because anyone who has stayed here would definitely recommend it to other folks. Also staff were very helpful with recommendations for good restaurants in downtown Washington, which is a quaint town on the river.

Dear Happy Retiree, Thank you ever so much for your comments! I am glad you pointed out that we are near Purina where there are many dog shows. We do get a lot of guests with their show dogs, and although some websites may indicate a 50 pound limit, we allow any size dog, cat, rooster (yes, we've even had a rooster), or service pony, etc. We are a pet and service animal friendly location! Also, thank you for mentioning the roll-in shower. On your next visit, we'd love to accommodate you with our roll-in shower room. Please indicate at the time of booking that you would like that provision :) Atlanta is quite a distance from us, but we hope your travels will bring you back around to our neck of the woods very soon! We were there for our son's wedding. Every aspect of our stay was great. Beds were very comfy. Room was spic and span. Breakfast was ample and delicious. Staff responded immediately to any needs and were always pleasant. The motel was easy to find and close to shopping centers, but there was no highway noise.

I had been here for 40 days. Very Clean, all the necessary amenities available, well equipped Gym, a good swimming pool and Jacuzzi and to top it all a very humble and pleasant staff. Special mention to the ladies at the reception who were always very kind and generous to help us whenever needed. Miss those cookies which used to be made by the lady at the morning Breakfast. Even the caretakers were so humble, they being Indians used to get us home cooked Indian food over the weekend Miss my stay in the Best western Plus. Amazing Experience

My husband and I had a nice relaxing getaway. The hotel was great, very helpful in finding us a room when they were very full. The breakfast is awesome. The beds were a bit hard, so did not sleep as well as I would have liked. The room was quiet, even being across from the pool.

We were going to the Herman MO Oktoberfest and decided to stay near by in the city of Washington MO. The best decision we made. The hotel is VERY CLEAN. The staff are friendly and very helpful. The even told us about a locals event at the farmers market on Thursday evening. Wonderful Music and family friendly. If you find yourself in Washington MO, stay at the Best Western Plus. You will not be sorry.

This was definitely an upscale (Plus) which was evident by the décor and amenities in the room. We chose it for it's proximity to a wedding at Vineyard at Riverbend in Washington, MO. Room was spacious and comfortable and A/C operated quietly. The artwork photographs on the walls were vineyard themed. Bathroom was nicely appointed and had a shower only, which was fine but it was installed such that water drained to one side instead of into the drain hole. toiletries were upscale as were the linens. Husband found the bed too hard. Free Breakfast was fully stocked with hot and cold choices, but we wished the service did not end so early (9 am) on a Sunday morning. Many in our party missed out. It was also crowded and we had to wait to find a table. Many people lounged around there after finishing and didn't give up the tables. Maybe you need to put gentle reminder to guests?

I am sorry, though, that your husband did not find the bed comfortable, and that it was difficult getting a seat in the breakfast room on an unusually busy morning. My title says it all. Huge room at the lowest room rate. Great breakfast. 1.5 miles from my business destination. I expected a small bedroom with a TV. I had a bedroom, TV, Fridge, microwave, 2 couches, a coffee table, and large bathroom.

We stayed two nights in this very convenient, clean and comfortable hotel while visiting friends in the area. The hotel benefits from being 100% non-smoking. It is right off the freeway so easy to get to. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable.

This is possibly the nicest hotel I have stayed in. From the moment we pulled into the parking lot, we were impressed. The staff was professional and courteous, the rooms were clean and smelled fresh, and the breakfast bar was outstanding! The hotel was booked with several weddings, but we never once heard any noise. We even cancelled future reservations at a different hotel and booked rooms here. Everything about this hotel was great!

An occasional cold item at breakfast but other than that it would be a stretch to find anything negative about this property. VERY clean. The outside was very well maintained as well. The front desk was well informed about the area and gave us easy directions to local points of interest as well as an excellent dining recommendation. .

We were very satisfied with our stay here. The hotel is clean and very quiet. On our last night the hotel was quite full and we were expecting it to be noisy in the halls at night. Very quiet, not once did we hear voices or doors slamming which is unusual. Rooms were well decorated and clean. We had a King Deluxe and was very spacious. Breakfast was the usual with hot and cold items. Would stay here again!
