We had a very good wheelchair accessible room in the annexe. With coffee and tea making facilities. Getting into the hotel was OK, but required opening two double doors at the back. The breakfast buffet was not accessible for the wheelchair user. Breakfast buffet was in a rather small and crowded space, but plentifull. Unfortunately the hotel had no table for diner when we arrived in the afternoon. So we ended up getting a take-away pizza as we could not find a restaurant that was accessible and had a table for us. Staff was very helpful and beers were nice and cool. Excellent location near centre of Tonder. We would stay again if the situation arose,

Absolutely the most terrible stay ever. Dirty carpet in entrance, spots on bath matt and no clean and change of towels between nights. A compensation was promised but withdrawn on day of check out. Case now at trade board for claims against hotels

Not too good. I understand that this hotel has recently changed ownership. I also see that the room rate has been increased. This is not a bad establishment, but it is in urgent need of refurbishment. The rooms are outdated. I think it is wrong to increase the room rate before the product is improved - I do hope that the price is not going to increase again when improvements are completed. There are not enough parking places at this hotel for the number of rooms present. The location is very good. The serice is good. At the previous prices, the value is good. Satisfactory breakfast.

We stayed two nights on a road trip to the southwestern part of Jutland. Tonder is located about 6 km from the German border and is the oldest market town in Denmark. Tonderhus is a classic hotel, located next to the town hall in the very heart of the town, and outside parking is free (but not unlimited). Our room was not located in the main building, but on the second floor of an added wing (without elevator). It was spacious and clean, but not entirely updated. For a couple of days it was okay, and the price very fair. Our stay included dinner and breakfast, and it was possible to dine outside. In spite of the downtown location it was quiet and nice to sit outside. The food quality was very good, and we enjoyed the beautiful weather. Friendly and very good service too.

We arrived late but still the chef made dinner for us. Very nice gesture and the food was just great. A classic Wienerschnitzel, prepared perfect. And of course a cold beer too. Very cozy restaurant. The room we had was big and could use some refreshing on the doors. We were not in the main building. Breakfast was also very good and plenty to choose from.
