Best Western Plus Cimarron Hotel & Suites, Stillwater

I titled this review a dump because there was literally a defecation deposit in the public restroom's urinal on the first floor the next morning upon leaving the property. This hotel has a bar on the top floor and I'm guessing some drunk left it for the rest of us to enjoy. Totally disgusting. Upon trying to checkin at 4 pm in the afternoon there was nobody at the front desk. After about 15 minutes of waiting a woman appeared but told me she couldn't help me because she tends bar upstairs, so I waited another five minutes before another woman showed up. She could finally help me...sort of. She gave me my key and pointed to where the room was on the first floor. I asked for another room as I don't like to stay on the first floor of any hotel for safety reasons. She flatly told me "no". I asked again and said the parking lot is practically empty how could there not be a room on a higher floor? Again denied. The room I received faced one of the busier streets in Stillwater along with the drive thru of a Panera Bread, so it was less than ideal. Bed was beat down and the room smelled musty. Bathroom and shower were ok. I booked the hotel because it had an indoor pool. Not open. When I wandered down to that end of the hotel the whole area was a mess. A lot of water on the floor for people to slip and fall on and just a whole area that needed cleaning up. Not good when there is parking and an entrance on that side of the building. For a number of years I had heard that this was a good place to stay in Stillwater and had never pulled the trigger for a stay, probably won't again. Too bad, the place is in good proximity to the sports arenas where I usually work.

Hotel was very nice and quiet. We booked a 2 room suite and with kids in one room and myself in another with door closed I herd minimum noise. I LOVED that! Room was very clean and spacious. Would of liked a thicker blanket on the bed or atleast an extra blanket in a drawer to use but outside of that we very much enjoyed our stay and will return.

This hotel refused to accept either a BW free night voucher or BW rewards points even though they were nearly empty on 08 January. I have used them here before with no problems, but with their new policy to refuse them, I do not expect to return soon.

Hotel is located close to university, which makes it convenient to get to campus. Always clean, rooms nice, and staff helpful. The bar is a nice touch, and has many drink options and will sell you one to take back to your room.

Comfortable, clean large rooms. Very nice staff. Great breakfast selection. Overall it's real nice. Didn't get to use the pool, but it looked nice as well. My only issue was being kept awake from the room above. Sounded like elephants throwing furniture and stomping around. No traffic noise at all though. Bring earplugs.

The staff was very kind and professional. The room was very spacious and comfortable. There were a few maintenance issues. The toilet was wobbly. The ice maker on my floor was not working. The stairs leading down from the second floor needed attention.

The hotel staff was efficient and nice. The room was spacious and clean. The location is perfect for game day! I was excited that I got a reservation but worried that it wouldn't be very nice because it was so close to game day but I was pleasantly surprised.

Barking dog kept us up the 1st night and hotel management did not address the situation after several complaints of continuous barking. They did not furnish milk or any juices as advertised, and pool & hot tub were closed because they didn't want extra people swimming on a busy weekend, although I was told it would be available when I booked.

This was our second stay here. Perfect location to visit OSU. We were able to walk to campus and not have a hassle of trying to find a parking spot. Rooms were very clean and the air conditioning worked really well even though it was 100 out. Staff was great.

This was the only option in town for our 7 member family to not have to get 2 separate rooms. Suite was spacious and comfortable. While the pool is small it was a nice amenity. Very close to the OSU campus. Staff was friendly and helpful. Public areas were clean and well maintained.

The room was okay but the pool was closed. Breakfast was all carbs and fake eggs, no fruit and only OJ. No black pepper come on . . . really? Somebody not doing their jobs . . . they were even out of bacon. No cereal or milk - they claim they have a good breakfast but all they had were fake eggs, plastic sausage gravy and waffles. Breakfast is not the end all of a good stay but dang, when they brag about it and offer a pool - that ends up being closed, I start to get a bit miffed.

This is a great place to stay. Very, very clean and all the amenities were in working order. I did not use the pool or hot tub but the area seemed to be very clean. If you are going to Stillwater, you need to book your stay here! They also have a bar on the fourth floor called to Loft. The Oklahoma State Cowgirls and families met there after punching their ticket to the WCWS.

Always clean, bed is comfy, breakfast is great, staff is friendly! This hotel is better than some time share resorts that I have been to. This is our favorite place to stay when we come to Stillwater.

It looks very nice on the outside that is why I booked there. First, our room had a weird smell. We got in very late so after finally getting to the room, instead of going though the hassle of getting another room, we just opened the window and was able to air it out. The breakfast was awful. The eggs and breakfast potatoes were the worst part. The sausage was ok and the cold item choice was also ok. Checking in there was a mixup due to Google reservations but after checking out, I realized the hotel staff gave us a more expensive room leading us to believe that was what I booked. Very shady! There is a place called The Table across the street and they were having a large event. The hotel allows people attending that even to park in their parking lot. Because of this, there were very few spots and those that were available were far from the door. If you are staying there to visit OSU, you are very close. That was the only good thing about the stay.

Overall and average stay. Hotel is nice and clean, but rooms are dark and the air conditioning is not great. Breakfast is okay. Pool was completely packed the whole time we were there. Staff was friendly and helpful.

The rooms were not clean, found hair on the floor. Bathroom was uncleaned. The breakfast was just fair, nothing great about it. Location of the hotel is not in a great neighborhood. Staff not overly friendly.

This hotel is disgusting. First, when we checked in, the front desk agent was wearing a hoodie and had AirPods in. Completely unprofessional. We needed to use the public restroom, and the mens bathroom had feces in the toilet, and the women's toilet had vomit. Then, when we got in the elevator, it looked like it had never been mopped and there was an empty chip bag on the floor. The AC in our room must have been broken, because there was a bright blue box fan sitting on the nightstand. I will never stay here again. Best Western, do better.

They will NOT accept cash payment at this one. If you're not wanting to use any of your cards, do NOT come here. You'll be better off reserving with Booking.com or something like that instead of waiting to check in directly with THIS hotel if you're PLANNING on using cash.

Very much below standards and expectations for a Suite. We had to ask for towels as there were not enough for a suite with a jacuzzi. We had to ask for coffee as there was only decaf in the room. The complimentary breakfast was decimated before 9 am and was out of coffee completely and no more was going to be made because they were out. The outside entrances were covered with fallen leaves. The elevator was dirty from leaves. None of the icemakers were working. no bottled water. They were setting up a room next to us at 830am very loudly. Moving furniture on ceramic tile floors is not quiet.

Great place to stay for college visit at OSU. Friendly staff. Nice 2 room suite setup was perfect for our family. Beautifully decorated room with a warm western feel. Updated bathroom with nice shower. Everything was very clean and they had excellent Covid Safety standards in place. Good breakfast. We would definitely stay here again!

We traveled to watch a basketball game. The hotel was clean and very comfortable. Easy check-in and checkout. Great location for walking to Eskimo Joes and Gallagher-Iba Arena. The front desk staff was very efficient and friendly. I would definitely stay at this location again.

I was ready to give this place 5 stars until we went to breakfast. The room was exceptionally spacious, with good beds and lighting. I especially liked that they used "normal" bedding instead of the horrid comforter-based covers that so many hotels are using. (We always end up tearing those apart because they are too hot.) The main thing missing in the room was a night light in the bathroom. At breakfast no one was cleaning tables that had been used and had syrup and eggs spilled on them. I even asked for a towel so I could do it myself; I was pointed to a paper napkin. The waffle mix was so watery it wouldn't make a waffle. What a way to spoil a good thing!

Clean rooms, beautiful lobby, clean hallways, and even though it's a block off a main street, quiet rooms. Room was fairly spacious, shower had good pressure and temperature, what more could you want? For the price point, you won't find a better deal in town, maybe not even the state.

This is hands-down our favorite hotel when visiting Stillwater. I love pets more than most and am not bothered by your allowance of pets for an extra fee as long as your rooms don't smell like animals. However, I find it questionable for hotel guests to bring their pets to breakfast and feed them the hotel breakfast on a plate on the floor. This very thing occurred on 09/18/21. You may have guests that are allergic that may not be able to eat the complimentary breakfast that is included with the cost of their lodging. Customers with pets should leave their pets in their rooms unless taking them outside to use the bathroom.

Hotel is nicely decorated, clean, and updated. The room was large and comfortable. I enjoyed a suite. The hotel is well situated in the town.. Personnel were friendly. I would definitely stay here again.

Comfortable stay and remodeled last year with adequate parking. Has indoor pool. Rooms are large, comfy beds with mini fridge, microwave, safe and 42 TV. Shower is nice and hot with plenty of pressure. The staff is friendly and welcoming and Sean was quick to check us in - thanks. A very pleasant stay

We went for the pool and hot tub. Enjoyed breakfast. Nice clean room! Loved my stay! Right next door to Panera Bread, and a short drive to a bunch of other restaurants. Everyone was kind, and the workers were helpful.

Comfy beds and pillows. Whoever designed how the shower doors went on is a complete idiot but overall wasn't bad. Will stay here again for my next trip just because the bed was so comfy after a long busy day it was nice to lay in.

My family and i got a last minute reservation at this warm homey felling hotel they are super accommodating, extraordinary helpful and nice!! Beautiful place to relax. Always smiling the housekeeper was always waving saying hi and really friendly, the man who cleans the lobby and sets out the breakfast was always asking how our day was. Such a clean hotel, constantly cleaning!! every time we came in they always asked if there was they could do for us, welcoming us back!!! Every time we came through the door from coming from eating or from our family events they were smiling saying glad ur back, can we do anything for you guys. Told us about the pool & jacuzzi, that it was open we was more then welcome to relax. They were so friendly & helpful when we asked for restaurant request, gas station close or just pleasant conversation. Best hotel I have personally stayed at!! Definitely recommend anyone to stay here. The staff was incredible, need more people like them everywhere!!!

The best hotel I ever stayed in everyone that works there is so friendly even the janitor.the rooms and the beds are amazing the maids are very friendly to grate location very quiet no noise at night.the breakfast is so good grate coffee great lounge. Has a nice Pool hot tub.just very out standard hotel.

My husband, son and I stayed at this property on a whim while visiting Stillwater. We haven't been back since 2012 and we weren't familiar with this property. I'm so glad we decided to stay here. The staff was friendly and helpful. The property inside and outside was extremely clean. I'm not sure when this hotel was built but it seemed like new. The pool and spa area is a must for us with our 8 year old. It was so clean and seemed to be up to safety codes with all the drains...that's usually a concern of mine. On to the room...we decided to stay in a suite and I'm happy we did! The room was huge and the bathroom was awesome! It had an amazing jetted tub and the shower was fantastic! It was so big...like really big with multiple body sprayers. Such a treat. The property was also walking distance to campus and located next to Panera Bread. We will definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone headed to Stillwater!

Great emplyees super nice. Made the stay more fun very helpful. Great super fast check in, super fast check out. Had no issues over night. Great clean pool, the hot tub was nice and warm. Bathrooms were great and clean.

Not a great location but all in all our stay was fine .. the front desk staff was very nice and went above and beyond.. air conditioning in hallways was not working so it was hot but the rooms were fine so really no complaints!

One of the best experiences in recent memory with a hotel stay. Fast, friendly and professional service desk. Small issue I did have was resolved quickly and complete satisfaction. I will stay there again.

The staff was friendly and welcoming. We found the property charming and very clean with hand sanitizing stations well placed for key areas. The location is close to restaurants, shopping and the campus. It's a "can't beat it" combination. We plan to stay here again when we are back in town.

Family trip! Best Western Motel was a little hard to get to beings we listened to the gps, there is a better way to go. Receptionist was very polite, rooms were clean, except for some rude teenagers our stay was delightful house keeping was very friendly.

Very friendly staff, took care of any and ALL needs that I had. Even when my family came to stay for one night with me, they moved me into a room that had two beds without hesitation. The breakfast is always very good! Pool area was super clean!

I have stayed at this property twice. It is very clean, quiet and the staff is overall helpful and friendly. We chose this location this round for the indoor pool and hot tub for my family. The location is excellent and very central. It has a great bar, one that we were looking forward to utilizing. Unfortunately, after getting out of my conference and heading to the bar for a cocktail, the bartender was locking up and closing for the night--at 8:55 p.m on a Friday night!! The posted hours were until midnight. She had no customers (yet), so she decided to close up. Not cool. We had one great experience. My daughter, left her new digital/game watch in our room in a drawer and did not realize it until many hours after checking out. We went back and it was at the front desk. The housekeeper had found it and turned it in. We are so grateful to her! Beds are comfy, but pillows are a little puffy/tall.

Great breakfast. Kids had fun in the pool! We have stayed in this hotel multiple times and enjoyed. Definitely recommend Best Western in general but this one is great! It's close to the OSU campus where you walk to it also!

Staff very helpful. Hotel seems almost new. Beds very firm. Pillows firmer than many hotels. Nicely designed rustic deco . Refrig and micro in room. Vanity area outside of bathroom. AAA discount, plus reward member discount.

Sam is a complete rude ignorant person. So is The rest of your housekeepers. You all will go nowhere with your trashy hotel rooms. I wouldnt pay 20 dollars a room. The rooms stink, the hallway ways stink & your workers are TRASH

This was a very clean place to stay. It's in the town close to the university but it was very quiet. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was great and the room was comfortable. There was a large lobby downstairs and the fresh baked cookies were delicious.

Best Western Cimarron Hotel is a BW "Plus" hotel, so it is a nicer property. It is a bit expensive for the level of quality however. It is in a college town - Oklahoma State U - so its expected that the prices would be high during high-demand events. My stay was not during one of those times, however, so the price seems higher than it should be.

I love staying at the Best Western Plus Cimarron Hotel and Suites! The rooms are so spacious and pretty. I never feel cramped when I stay here with my family. I love the proximity to everything on campus.

I loved staying at the hotel, it was clean and people were kind! I couldn't be more thankful! Great Stay! I specifically enjoyed the kind front desk staff. I had a small issue (because I failed to bring infomration with me--- oops) they were accomidating and kind the entire time!

This is the best hotel location if you're in town for anything related to OSU. We have stayed here several times and have always been pleased. You can walk to several restaurants and the football stadium is very close. The beds are very comfy and the breakfast is a step up from most hotel “free breakfasts.” The staff is friendly, the rooms are larger. This isn't a new hotel, so not as modern as some. There is an indoor pool and a bar also.

Stayed here while getting my son set up in his house and ready for OSU. I will definitely stay in this hotel again. It's far better than the place we stayed at in April. And it's close to restaurants.

We try to stay here every time we are in Stillwater. The location is so close to OSU, the staff have always been extremely helpful, the breakfast is good, and the rooms have been good. Nice indoor swimming pool for my youngest child. Overall, great place.

Stayed here for 4 days while my son was at orientation and it was everything I needed. Clean and so close to everything that I didn't rent a car. Used Uber to get to/from airport and walked everywhere else. My room was huge. 2 queen beds, nicely decorated and clean.

Close to campus and super nice staff. The price is a little higher than others, but the rooms were clean and tidy. a very nice stay, they make you feel at home. Above average hotel. I would rate higher but there is not much to compare to in the area on the same or similar level. Football games, well you need to reserve way way way way in advance.

I'm a life time Marriott Titanium member so that tells you how many hotels I've stayed at and I have to say this property offered the most superior customer service by far. From bringing us extra towels to opening up their private event room for our extended family to relax in they were top notch. Special kudos to Kalya. She was outstanding. One minor detail they could fix to improve the total experience. The lobby was very warm. Saw the thermostat set at 76. A tad toasty. Might want to turn it down a notch. Would we stay here again? Yes.

Staff was very friendly, attentive, and helpful. I have stayed in this hotel one more than once, and it has been consistently CLEAN. Having family that worked in hotel management, I know too much to ever be fully comfortable in a hotel room (thinking about cleanliness, things people do in hotels, etc.). My nieces were with me. As children do, particularly when you have a dog with you, they wanted to sit on the floor. This is the ONLY hotel in which I have ever been comfortable enough to sit on the carpet, or to allow my nieces to do the same. Also, one of the reasons I favor Best Western in general is that most seem to have a very open policy on dogs. I have LARGE, though friendly and gentle, German Shepherd who loves to travel with me. I find most Best Westerns to be very welcoming when we walk in. This one is no exception. He was got lots of positive attention!

The breakfast is great. Room very clean!!! In room fridge, mini microwave, safe, coffee, bottled water, all included with room. All of the rooms open to the interior of the hotel. I stay here once a year & will not stay at any other hotel in Stillwater Oklahoma.

We were here for a Hall of Fame Induction. This hotel was within walking distance for every where we wanted to be! It was very clean and well-kept. Breakfast was was in a most pleasant area and with excellent food choices. Hall of Fame and OSU facilities were easily accessed on foot.Staff was so friendly and accommodating. We arrived at Stillwater Airport tr nearly midnight and were picked up by the night manager! All in all, a great experience.

I have stayed at this hotel several times when visiting Stillwater. The hotel and rooms are clean and comfortable. The customer service from front desk, housekeeping and maintenance was friendly, courteous and professional. The breakfast was abundant and varied. Staff was helpful. The rooms are very spacious with great amenities. My only problem was that it took my whole stay to figure out which of the pillows suited me best for sleeping. Close to OSU, great breakfast, plenty of places to visit with groups in the lobby. Rooms were clean and very large. There was loud music on Thursday evening until about 10 pm, coming from one of the college houses nearby.

This was hands down one of the best we stayed at. Room was immaculate and the breakfast was outstanding. The rate was considerably lower than all the rest and it was better than any of them. Highly recommended

Hotel was clean, customer service well done, easy to get to, hotel always has cookies in evenings. Hotel bar on 4th floor is also a nice amenity offered to all customers. Best place to stay in Stillwater OK

I was in town for a dog show and this hotel was so welcoming. They had the friendliest staff I have every experienced. The room was spotless and everything worked. The hotel was quite even though they were very booked. I had to leave a day early and they let me cancel my reservation for the last night with no penalty. I will stay here again if I ever go back. Top quality and reasonably priced. I give the experience a 10 out of 10.

From the airport shuttle all the way to the end of our stay, the staff could not have been nicer or more accommodating. Lovely pool and hot tub, a small but efficient fitness center, and the breakfast was amazing. Our room was spacious and very clean. I highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed at this hotel for the Red Dirt Film Festival.I have never stayed at a Best Western hotel, mainly because I thought that they were "lower class" hotels. I decided to try this one since it was the hotel that was hosting the festival. I was very surprised by this stay. The appearance and comfort were all top-notch. Front desk host/hostess were all very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good - they even had potatoes, which a lot of hotel breakfasts leave out. Many restaurants are within several blocks. I would without a doubt stay at this hotel again.

Nice and clean. I enjoyed my visit. Friendly and accommodating staff. The meeting rooms were comfortable. I would visit again. Panera bread is a few feet away as well as other restaurants and a Walmart. Very centrally located.

we are here from out of town my husband works construction i called just a few hours before we got a short notice that we would need to be there in stillwater , mrs.jan harris the sales coordinator was the best she took all our needs and i am hadicap and she like i said took all things and when we got there a night after my husband had worked that day and we traveled with our pets . o i forgot to say we where not supposed to come till the next day but she and her staff had everything all ready that night .I'm just going to tell you theses OUTSTANDING PEOPLE put out a excellent place to stay, and the best breakfast , it will be our home away from home the whole staff MRS . We stayed the night at the Best Western in Stillwater for a work Christmas party. The hotel is very clean. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Check in and check out were very fast. Our only complaints that we did not report were: the soap in the bathroom smelt like pinesol, the room walls were paper thin, the pillows were too tall for our liking, and our door slammed hard after closing. All of these things were minor. We had a good stay . Again this hotel was very clean. Will probably stay again.

One of the nicest motels that we've used. Large room - considerably more room than average, and well appointed. Very clean. Extra large breakfast area and excellent breakfast. Near OSU athletic area and also many restaurants.

This was a great location close to OSU which made our stay more enjoyable as we were able to spend more time with Grandson and see more of the college campus . We stayed here for the OSU college rodeo. Shontell at the front desk was so nice as was everyone there. We had a small problem with our heater and she upgraded us to a suite. Hotel is very clean. Beds are super comfortable and breakfast was really good. Pool and hot tub were very nice as well. Will stay here again!

Clean rooms, great staff and a comfortable bed. What else can you ask for in a stay. Occasionally I have to stay in alternate hotels, but always regret missing out on staff that knows me and my vehicle. I've stayed approximately 200 nights over the last 16 months in this hotel. Best hotel in town.

This is a good BestWestern very conveniently located just east of the OSU campus. The room was clean and comfortable. Reasonably priced, friendly staff, typical hotel breakfast. There are many restaurants nearby. Would definitely stay here again.

Beds could have been updated and newer. Fitness center is small (maybe less conference room and more gym/fitness area?). Breakfast is good and hotel staff are kind and helpful. Overall good hotel for the price in the center of Stillwater. Pool and hot tub are small but clean.

Good hotel for the price, Positives , ..Staff awesome, location awesome , breakfast good ..room spacious and clean .. Negatives, these wood frame hotels are very noisy, the room above us must have been full of kids, constantly dragging chairs and non stop stomping.. I found this a bit unusual, they leave an envelope in the room that's meant for tips, it says so right on the envelope.. Heaven knows housekeepers are underpaid, they could really use tips, however it did strike me as odd and I have traced the world for 22 years, several thousand nights in 40 countries, never seen that before .. Good hotel though all things considered, I would definitely stay there again.. The staff bends over backwards for the guests , great small town flavor .

The team here was fantastic. Caleb was personable, tremendously helpful and accommodating. Jan was very helpful with the booking side of things. Mary (bartender) was also very helpful and friendly. On our way to Texas we wanted to stay in Stillwater so we could eat at Eskimo Joe's. We chose this hotel since it is within walking distance to the restaurant and had received favorable reviews. We were not disappointed! Had a 2 room suite with 2 TVs which worked out great since my husband and I have different TV and sleep preferences. Room was clean. Really enjoyed the jetted shower! Good quality towels. Bed was comfortable with nice puffy pillows. Lots of good choices on the breakfast buffet. All for a reasonable price. We will definitely stay again!

I had high hopes for this hotel, since the exterior and interior décor looked very nice, but one I got to my room, those hopes were gone. The rooms proved the hotel to be cheap and poor quality. The TV in my room would only show with a pink hue, the A/C rattled each time it turned on, the shower seemed very nice & upgraded, but the knobs were loose and felt cheap/rusted, and the magnified mirror would have been nice if it weren't falling apart and if the light worked on it. Overall, I just could not wait for my stay to be over with. Sorry for the harsh review, I really hoped my stay would prove my opinions about Best Westerns wrong, but it only confirmed them

Upon first arrival, the outside of the hotel was quite Aesthetically pleasing. A very western, rustic look. The front end staff was very courteous and outgoing and very easy to deal with. I would have rated it a 5 had it not been for the shower in the room I had. the faucet only worked in one direction, which fortunately for me, was the right direction (the hot side) . It was reported but never repaired during my stay. Overall it was a nice hotel and I would stay there again if I were to go to that area...

This was our first time staying at this hotel. All of the staff were friendly, professional and appeared to really love their job. The lady in charge of breakfast, Deanne, was great and the food item were plentiful and temperture appropriate.

I was driving across country and stopped here for the night. Caleb was an awesome front desk clerk and the hotel was magnificent. Great food nearby and the lounge was busy with other travelers. Almost everyone I spoke to said that they always stay here when they visit and I saw why. If you're ever in the area, stop in for a drink and say hi to Caleb.

This hotel was clean and spacious. The breakfast was better than most free hotel breakfasts with lots of surprise touches (little packets of Nutella, gluten free granola, etc). It is perfectly located within walking distance of both Joe's restaurants, campus, Gallagher-Iba and Pickens Stadium, but still off the street so quiet location. Bar is very reasonably priced. Friendly desk staff. Would definitely stay here again.

I was in Stillwater for my son's wedding ...our wedding party required several rooms...which needed to be loaded with “ goodie bags, flowers etc...before they arrived. Fortunately, I had met Chantal the day before check-in....she was so helpful in showing me different rooms and in assistance with placing the bags in the rooms. This BW has a great 4th floor bar and a great entrance with a fireplace which is just around the corner from the breakfast buffet area. Convenient to OSU and down town...if you get the chance stay there....and I hope Chantal is there to assist you ....the GOAT of all guest relations

Hotel was within walking distance to Gallagher Iba Arena and fit our agenda very well. Room was clean but there was a broken faucet handle (but it still worked) and only one bar of soap. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast the next day was very good for being included in the price of the room. Staff was friendly but I have never seen a hotel where the front desk people "sat" behind the desk. We would stay here again and recommend if you have any activities on the OSU campus.

This is a great hotel. Nice decor, clean, spacious rooms. A short walk to OSU's basketball & football stadiums. Staff was super helpful w/ whatever we asked for. Breakfast was hot and fresh each morning. I'd recommend this to anyone.

I really don't want to share how good this hotel is because then people will book and I won't be able to book. We always here when we come to Stillwater. Really for the money, the hotel is great, the people are nice, pool was good and warm. We enjoyed our stay.

Convenient location to OSU campus and activities. Clean, but has only one elevator which can delay a person if in a hurry. Rooms need to be freshened and updated but are comfortable. The staff is friendly and helpful, eager to please or meet needs of the guests.

For BW, overall a good experience. Great service from the front desk staff. Let down by a bath/shower faucet handle that not only fell off, but was then put back as it was by housekeeping staff only for it to fall off again. And a safe door that crashed into the closet door every time the closet door was shut. And slow internet. It's the little things that spoiled what would otherwise have been a fantastic experience.

A little pricey but the quality was worth it. The rooms were very clean and inviting. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The breakfast items were hot, fresh and plentiful. The decor and overall appearance of the hotel was fantastic. No qualms about staying here in the future. Enjoyed the stay!

Very quiet and comfortable. Had no trouble checking in, and the staff was professional and relaxed. The decor is lovely, and the breakfast is good, especially being able to have a fresh, hot waffle, and being able to take breakfast back to the room to enjoy in seclusion. Note: the ice and vending are on the south ends of the 2nd and 3rd floors; depending on the location of your room, you may have to travel a bit to get those.

The breakfast items are better than the last two years. The staff is well trained and informed. The staff is happy to serve The location is close to campus. They make sure the parking is safe and reserved for game day..

The staff at this location were amazingly caring. The grab & go breakfast was perfect, while I was in a rush. The King room we were in had a LARGE walk tile shower, it was wonderful. I highly recommend this hotel....

I enjoyed my stay at the Best Western Cimarron in Stillwater, Oklahoma. When the pillows were too larger than I liked, the cleaning person located two smaller ones for me to use. When I lost my car key, the staff enthusiastically found and returned it to me. The hotel was clean, friendly, and well located near the Oklahoma State University campus. The room had a spacious feel. A very good value.

The staff at this hotel was awesome. Great place to stay. The rooms were always clean, they actually checked them twice a day. I would recommend this place if you are going to stay in Stillwater.Very close to the University.

The staff is beyond wonderful and helpful. The GM is also professional and awesome! The breakfast is the best a hotel has to offer. Clean, well-maintained, perfect hotel! The pool and spa are relaxing and clean. The workout room is also clean and convenient.

This hotel was very clean. They had a friendly staff especially the ladies at the front desk. They made my husband and I feel very welcomed. Also the check in and checkout process very easy and quick.

We stayed here to attend an OSU football game. Hotel was clean, staff was kind, it is pet-friendly, and breakfast is good. They offered free snacks after the game. An easy walk to OSU campus. We'll stay again on our next visit.

We are currently staying at this hotel. We are in room 325 which means the loft is right above the room. They are very loud, yelling, stomping, and moving furniture across the floor. I called the front desk and asked if they had another room and they said that there wasn't another double queen available. So I asked how long this would be going on and she said that they do not close until 11:30. This is a very nice hotel and we have stayed here before but never in this room. I am a Diamond member and I will not stay here again if this is the room that I get! It is terrible! We are here for a baseball camp on the OSU campus.

We typically do not stay at Best Western's but selected this hotel based on the reviews here on Trip Advisor. Our stay was pleasant and the staff was really good. There is a small lounge on the fourth floor and they do offer breakfast. Neither were anything to brag about but again, for this class of hotel it was worth the cost of the stay.

Staff was disorganized. No recognition of Diamond elite status. Shuttle was disorganized. Mgmt team was very confused about arrangements with OSU for shuttle service. Mgmt team was responsive when issue were brought to their attention, but the experience was unacceptable in total.

Bed was excellent (a soft pillow top) and much better than most hotels. Pillows were thicker (better) than at most hotels. Bathroom towels were of good quality (plush). Exterior window would not fully close or lock, thus I got some noise from the Panera next door. I would suggest a room facing east, perhaps, for the most quiet. Air conditioner fan would turn on and off regardless of setting. I tried setting the fan to "low" and "high" in order to generate white noise to overcome the noise from the parking lot, but that did not work. Hot and cold breakfast items were plentiful and served until 9:30 Mon - Fri and until 10am on Sat and Sun. Hotel is in a side street with a ground mounted sign, so slightly hidden. From Hall of Fame Blvd, look for the Panera and the hotel is in back. Staff was friendly and did a good job. Rooms had a bit of a western decor (not generic hotel style), and had lots of floor space. An extra chair or table or something would have been welcome.

Love front desk staff and morning crew, always kind and friendly. OSU Students working there are most helpful with questions regarding how to get around town and the OSU life. Internet works well for business needs and personal computing. Close to campus a major plus. Breakfast is really fresh for a hot meal on the go.

Quality customer service is meeting and exceeding the individual customer's expectations. I was completely WOW'd by the quality of service I experienced at this hotel, and its accommodations. The front desk clerk, Marlii was warm, knowledgeable, and anticipated (and filled) all of my requests. She gave me a list of recommended restaurants and directions to local shopping. Marlii even pleased my elderly mother when she asked about the local seasonal climate. We met my sister and her family, who arrived a few hours after I did. Marlii noticed our rooms were not in close proximity to each other, and then made changes so that they were. We forgot to reserve a roll-away bed. Marlii mentioned to me that she had one left, and we jumped on the opportunity. We were in Stillwater for a couple of days to settle my 18yr old nephew into college, as were hundreds of other families this week. It was a bittersweet trip. They greeted us with smiles and friendly hello's each and every time we arrived. The hotel offers a work out room that my brother in-law used, an indoor spa and pool, a tasty breakfast with plenty of choices and seating. I also noticed it had meeting rooms, but I didn't look into it, nor need those this trip. The rooms and the bathrooms were huge and clean. They were comfortable and everything worked as needed. The room included a mini fridge (worked great and offered plenty of room), and a microwave oven. The room offered different types of tea and coffee. They even have a loft bar, but I didn't venture over. Wow. Great experience. I will go back to this hotel.

The front desk staff is very friendly. They have a complementary shuttle to the Stillwater airport, which is quite convenient. :) Nice, large, clean rooms and bathroom. Breakfast is ample and quite good with a large variety. Being able to walk to campus is a bonus!

BW's rebranding has gotten my attention. Professional Serving Staff, accommodations that are clean and updated, appearance and taste exceeded all expectations. Even the breakfast was beyond other hotel venues. the different lounges on differing floor s for this level of hotel was impressive. I'm returning without a doubt. From the first hello to checkout I felt like they cared.

The service I received from check in to check out was excellent. I was welcomed by a bubbly employee who made sure my check in process was seamless. The room was clean, I felt safe when I was in my room, and the bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. A good continental breakfast was served everyday. I experienced issues with my key card on the last night of my stay and the hotel staff handled the issue swiftly and patiently to make sure that I was back in my room in a matter of minutes. The hotel is in walking distance to restaurants and shops, as well as OSU's campus and Boone Pickens Stadium. I would definitely consider staying at the Best Western next time I visit Stillwater!

I've been staying at this property for years. Over the years it has remained consistently a good place to stay for my business events in the city. Recently, the online reservation system messed up my dates. I didn't realize it until I arrived on site. The front desk helped clear up the issue and was able to secure a room for me.

We love staying at the Cimarron Hotel! Its location is so close to the campus of Oklahoma State University and nightlife! The Loft (hotel bar) has a great atmosphere! We love the freshly baked cookies upon arrival, and the complimentary breakfast. The pool is convenient.

A group of 16 stayed there for a few days last week for a work meeting. The hotel was nice and clean. The staff went out of their way to help in any way they could. The free breakfast was amazing. The location was central to many things! I highly recommend this place!

Super clean, nice, quiet close to the action place to stay in Stillwater. Rooms are quite large and beds are very comfortable! Bathrooms are very clean! FYI, turn ac down before you head into bathroom to shower. There is no heat source in there.

I travel a lot with work and this was my first stay at a Best Western Plus. I wasn't expecting much and got a lot more for the money than several of the other big name hotels. This Stillwater Best Western Plus is a great palace to stay and reasonably prices.

Close to my meeting at OSU. Room was spacious and comfortable, and a/c was adequate to deal with the heat and humidity. Didn't try the restaurant or bar. Breakfast was fine but limited choice of cereals (too much sugar) and hot items not always to my taste. I didn't use the fitness centre but there was only a small range of equipment in there.

The one who checked me in was amazing! Above and beyond customer service from her. Appears to truly be concerned about our needs and making our stay as enjoyable as possible. I was there for the surgery of my brother the next day and we stayed in a handicapped room. She made sure it was the closest to the door as possible since he could hardly walk. She was was great!! She made the stay a 10 plus and would be the reason we return and recommend!!

I've stayed here on several occasions, and I always have a great experience. Rooms are quiet and clean, and the staff at the check in desk are very friendly. It's a steal being so close to campus and all the surrounding restaurants and bars. This spot is the only place I look at when planning a night in Stillwater.

We've stayed at this hotel numerous times. It is always well maintained, very friendly and helpful staff, the rooms are spacious with very nice bathrooms, and the location is in walking distance to the basketball aren and football stadium, as well as campus. There's a Panera right in the same parking lot and you can even walk to a Starbucks if you prefer. We've been coming to Stillwater for years and it is by far our favorite place to stay. I do wish they wouldn't require a 2-night minimum during football season and raise the prices so much during special events (but this occurs at all the local hotels).

Love it here. I've stayed for 10 days over the past year, always with my pup. The hotel staff loves him! The rooms are large, clean, happy places. The beds are comfy; the service is good; the bar on the 4th floor is pretty inexpensive and quite friendly. Loved staying here for graduation in May

We have used this hotel for the past five years when visiting family in Stillwater. It is close to campus and has maintained it's excellence of service and quality. We would highly recommend this hotel.

I would highly recommend this hotel. I've been doing business travel for a long time, and Best Western has always treated me right. In Stillwater, this hotel is located in the heart of the city. Local shopping, the Oklahoma State University is a block away, and easy access from the highway is a big plus for anyone wanting to stay in Stillwater.

Great location to campus. Easy walk to campus. Close to downtown Stillwater. Great and friendly customer service, nice rooms! Supports Oklahoma State University. Love the western decor. Great and safe parking lot.

Beautifully decorated rooms an property, exceptional bedding and bath, very clean! Service and included breakfast was mediocre at best, but we would probably stay here again just for the outstanding room!

Even in the cleanest hotels, I usually refuse to allow my bare feet to touch the floor, but I was very comofortable here, and even palyed in the room with my nieces barefoot. I usually travel with my german shepherd, and they were very accomodatiing and friendly. Also I arrived before check-in time and needed to be somewhere (and needed a room to put my dog in) and they were able to check me in early, which was very nice.

Very good location in Stillwater OK, 4 blocks to OSU football stadium. But - TV remote did not work - tried to call about it, but phone did not work either. Clerk said the remotes tended not to work and the phones were old and frequently did not work. Asked or a quiet room, but was given a room under the bar, which was noisy until 12:30 am. Do Not take a room near room 325

This hotel is beautiful inside and out. The staff was super nice and helpful!!! oh, and the beds....oh the beds are amazing!!!! The rooms are so nice and clean. It really felt like you were at home. We will for sure be back!!!

I stayed here for ten nights while in Stillwater for business, and am very glad I stayed at this Best Western. Overall just a great hotel. Front desk staff throughout the stay was helpful and very friendly. The rooms were very nice and seemed new. Very comfortable bed and I especially enjoyed the large pillows. Breakfast was fairly typical Best Western, not terrible but not great either. Lots of options so that helped. Another nice perk is the bar on the 4th floor. The hotel is also conveniently located so you can walk to some food options. If I'm ever in Stillwater again this will be where I stay.

My stay at the Best Western in Stillwater, OK was wonderful! The decor was authentic to Oklahoma. The pool was relaxing. It was quiet, clean, and peaceful. Internet was adequate so that I could complete business tasks and watch Netflix.

This is my favorite place to stay in Stillwater. It is close to campus, and the people that work here are always super helpful! It is very clean and comfortable. I have never tried the lounge, but have heard good things. The breakfasts are wonderful!

This is a great place. Rooms are clean and staff was great. During events at the college rooms are higher then on days there are not events. Plan ahead for the best rate. We brought the whole family and had a great time will absolutely stay here the next time too.

Very nice hotel, it's put together nicely , and well decorated for the atmosphere it's in . The internet service was horrible. I could not get on to the room internet . I've noticed this is a trend with most best westerns I've stayed in . It wasn't the end of the world , I went and used the business center . The amentities in the room were nice , not all hotels are the same .

We traveled to Stillwater for the Polar Express Experience and stayed at the Best Western Plus. We enjoyed the swimming pool with our four kids and the complimentary breakfast. The check in and checkout were fast and easy and the rooms were clean and comfy.

The hotel was a very good place to stay. They are friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean and service is good. I use this hotel every chance I get when coming to Stillwater and stay with Best Western in other cities when I travel every time there is one available.

Well worth the extra money for the Jacuzzi suite. Hotel is very nice. Good coffee selection in the lobby. Didn't get a chance to check out the pool or fitness center. Great location and walking distance to many restaurants.

Hotel is close to campus and is great fun on OSU Home games. They go all out with special cookies, buffets, and decorations. The staff was extremely kind and helpful with our elderly dad who has limited mobility. Handicapped services and room were great. Staff was super.

The BW Cimarron is walking distance to the Oklahoma State Campus and quite nice. I wish they had a researcher discount, but this hotel is a good value. The staff is very helpful and accommodating. Breakfast was better than most hotel breakfasts. I saved on parking at OSU by walking to campus, just 11 blocks from by destination.

We like to stay here because you can walk to Boone Pickens Stadium for football games. This is a nice hotel. The staff is very friendly and the rooms are clean. My biggest complaint is the rooms have no seating. We stayed in a Queen room. The room was really big but there was only a desk and bed. Plenty of room for a love seat or a couple of chairs. It is definitely an odd use (or non use) of space. They have a nice bar area that overlooks the stadium. It's fairly small, so a little extra seating in the rooms would be nice so you can visit with friends and family. Otherwise, no where to spend time hanging out. Otherwise, a great hotel.

stayed here for a business conference. would usually stay at Hampton or Hilton Garden, but I wanted to be same place as meeting. This is not as new and shiny, but I was pleasantly surprised. it's tucked away in a quiet little area just off the main street [Hall of Fame] and easily walkable to shops and food.

We were amazed how they handled our change in plans. We had a family emergency with our 94 year old father and were needing to change rooms, check out times and dates. The staff here is kind, caring, and very professional (especially Kate, Reed, and Crystal). They listened to our problems and accommodated our every need. We will ALWAYS stay here when we come to Stillwater, this is the BEST hotel in town!

We normally stay here anytime we visit Stillwater. It's one of the nicest hotels in town, and is very conveniently located within a short walk of the OSU Campus and especially to Gallagher-Iba Arena and Boone Pickens Stadium. The complimentary breakfast is above average but not outstanding.

This is a very friendly, helpful Western-themed hotel located near the OSU campus. I was there on Game Day and the hotel went all out with special cookies, chocolates, drinks, buffet and decorations. An intense 5.6 earthquake struck the last morning and the staff was extremely calm and efficient. Great place to stay.

This hotel is walking distance from the OSU campus. Also there are several restaurants in walking distance, Zaxbys, Panerna Bread, etc. The hotel has a good staff and the customer service is what you expect. The breakfast which is included is a great benefit.

A great location! Close enough for an easy walk to Boone Pickens Stadium,the Oklahoma State campus, several restaurants and shopping! Our room was very nice: microwave, refrigerator, two bottles of water, great bathroom amenities! The breakfast was very good with several varieties of foods, even gluten free offerings! The staff was very friendly and helpful. I'll stay at this hotel again.

This is our go-to place when we stay in Stillwater. We know that it will always be good. The breakfast was a little cold, but we didn't get downstairs until after 9 and breakfast is done at 9:30. When we couldn't find something, someone was there to help us out.

Road warrior here. Stay in a lot of classes of hotels including 5 stars and 2 stars, where most Best Westerns live. Most Best Westerns I've stayed in (and that's more than a handful across the US - I have to go to a lot of small towns) are exactly what you'd imagine: average to below average. So it was no surprise that I expected the same during a trip to Stillwater. Boy was I wrong. This facility is definitely on par with your large mega-chain hotels like a Hilton or Sheraton. Modern facilities, modern rooms, friendly staff, and an interesting bar at the top of the tower (interesting because it's just a converted conference room). Also walking distance to campus and the local bars like Eskimo Joe's. At this price, if you're in Stillwater, you'd be silly not to stay here!

Close to campus, which means it's used by students a lot. So be prepared on weekends for lots of noise and lots of activity. We didn't notice a great deal of noise once we were in our rooms; door slamming and running and laughing in the halls. But the halls are pretty noisy. My biggest complaint was we had to sign a statement about no smoking everything says no smoking but there was a distinct odor of cigarette smoke in the stairwells and in the hallways. It is very convenient to walk to campus and we also walked to Eskimo Joe's so it is very convenient if that is your number one priority.

The hotel was very clean, the suite was very nice, the staff was great. The bar is not as good as it used to be. The bathroom in the jacuzzi suite was very small and it was difficult to open and shut the door because it was such a tight fit. The jacuzzi was also difficult to get in and out of; it needed a step and a handrail. The internet was not safe; had my email password hacked.

Outstanding hotel...comfortable rooms, attentive staff, very quiet, close to anywhere we needed to go. Had a small problem upon arriving that was quickly and appropriately addressed by the staff. I travel enough to know that customers don't always receive the attention and appreciation that this hotel provided. Hope to make many trips to Stillwater in the future...and return to this hotel!

This is one of the nicest and largest Best Western I have ever seen. Beautiful décor, finishes and fixtures very high end. The room was spacious and comfortable. My only complaint are the pillows they are terrible so if possible bring your own!

Great people, convenient location, great hospitality, look forward to staying again. There are plenty of shopping stores (food, restaurants, entertainment to meet all of your needs. The exercise room and lobby are great!

I love to stay at the Cimarron Hotel & Suites in Stillwater, OK. They have great beds, an amazing breakfast menu and dining area. The staff is very attentive, and they keep a beautiful property. I can meet clients in their lobby, or plan meetings in one of the rooms and know that my needs will all be met and exceeded.

This property left me wanting nothing. I was on a trip where we were staying in 5 hotels in 7 nights, including some 4 star properties like a Westin. This place held their own quite well. The girls at check in were very nice and the rooms were very good sized and clean. The rooms are decorated in an old west motif and the bathrooms are nice. It is not far away from a lot of the area restaurants and the downtown area. The property is also fairly priced. The breakfast that they include in the room rate wasn't the greatest...but I didn't have much of and expectation.

The room was large, roomy and clean and neat. The air was set according to the weather. The location was very convenient and in walking distance to stores and restaurants. I would definitely stay there again.

HUGE clean double room. Nothing negative at all. Front desk clerk (Marlee?) was beyond friendly and helpful. The indoor pool is not huge, but the nice sized hot tub makes up for it. Breakfast was nice for a continental breakfast. Constantly being filled with hot eggs, bacon, sausage, biscuits. Other items were waffles, bagels, toast, fruit, etc. There were several beverage choices beyond orange juice and coffee. Very close to OSU as well as shopping areas. Would stay here again.

Sleepy little town when the students are gone for summer. Clean room. Good location - OSU. Close to Gallagher Basketball Arena. Place felt empty but was actually sold out. Quiet. Nice lobby. Big bar but no patrons. Very sleepy place. Or should I say laid back. Even the elevator was slow. Nice break from the Dallas rat race.

Perfectly gracious service. Even with our rowdy baseball boys, the staff members were friendly and kind. Rooms were clean and spacious. The shower had good water pressure and the beds were heaven! Would definitely stay here again.

I think Best Western has truly stepped up their class of service. The hotel was beautiful, the staff at the front desk was wonderful and the comfort of the rooms was great! I was not expecting this from a "Best Western" AT ALL! Will DEFINITELY be staying here again!

Stayed 1 night. 1 king bed, 1 bedroom. Awesome comfy bed slept 2 people comfortably. Allows pets! They also have a good variety of breakfast items and yes they do have waffles! But if breakfast burritos are more up your alley they have those too. Clean, spacious bathroom. 10 minute drive to countless restaurants and food options.

This Best Western was a complete surprise. The look was of a 5 star resort. The finish inside was upscale. The service was great. If in Stillwater, there is no better place to stay than the Best Western Plus.

Stayed here while helping my daughter apartment-hunt. Rooms were large and kept very clean. All staff members were friendly and accommodating. Breakfast was ok for a hotel breakfast....you pretty much know what to expect. If you want something specially cooked and delicious, there's a Panera Bread next door.

I had a mediocre stay at best at this hotel. I have stayed at Best Western Hotel's all over Oklahoma First of all I had (5) reward cards to use so I checked in using all 5 came to a total of $125.00, the room was only $118.45. Got the receipt Sunday showed a credit of $6.55, then on Monday checked my incidental card account and shows the charged $18.45. Called and talked to the front desk and they said I only had 4, BW Rewards said all 5 had been used. Wasn't much but who knows how many times they have done this. They finally credited my $18.45 back. I wouldn't say they made it right but at least I got back my money that shouldn't of been taken in the first place. Second, the front desk didn't know how to do the cards, she tried contact who I assume was the manager's which didn't answer she was busy and frustrated with no help. There was other minor things but those can't be helped. Don't think I could stay here again even though my kids liked it.

This is the best hotel to stay in while in Stillwater! Whether you are moving your kids in or out of college, this place is incredible. The beds are comfortable and the breakfast is yummy. Always great!!

The breakfast was really good, and different everyday, with lots of choices. The rooms were nice and clean, with a friendly decor. The staff was outstanding and so helpful. A great overall experience, I've stayed here before, and I will stay here again.

This is the second year that I have stayed at this hotel. Their staff is very courteous and helpful. The breakfast is very fresh, hot and delicious. The rooms are spacious and clean. I would recommend.

If you plan to stay in Stillwater, stay at this hotel, the Best Western Cimmaron. They have a great staff and are very helpful when asked anything. I also enjoy the breakfast menu that they provide. It is also close to resturants and shopping.

Ran into no issues at all, was actually very comfortable, pleasantly surprised at discovering the 4th floor bar. Some younger guests, likely college athletes, seem to not have been acculturated to acceptable behavior at hotels, but this was not even a nuisance, just odd.

I would not recommend this hotel to anyone as the noise level in the room next to me was horrible and I called downstairs 3 times and did not get any results. Did not have hot water the first night and the clerk said the maintenance man said the hot water valve was turned off.

Wonderful hotel. Beautiful rooms and very close to OSU football stadium and campus. Breakfast was an added bonus! The only thing that stopped this from being a perfect score was that all the pillows were very plump and not what we usually have thinner pillows. We will be back!

I am a government employee with special rates and tax exempt (I stay at this Hotel 5 -6 times per year for past four years) The staff are very friendly and do a great job of giving me a ground floor room (when possible) also check-in and out is very smooth. Most important is staff getting the billing and room rate correct. There is a Motel in OKC that all Ok. Corp. Comm. employee's are bannded from because they could not get billing correct!

The property is tucked aside away from the main streets of Stillwater. HOWEVER, that is my only issue - a clean comfortable room at a reasonable price, with a great breakfast in the morning. Oh, AND I was able to pick up the NHL playoffs on the cable system - too many hotels exclude the channels that offer hockey!

Excellent except shower head in husband's room 311 had scalding water only and maintenance came and fixed within 30 minutes and we were able to attend our legal seminar at OSU on time. Clean, large rooms, breakfast had real plates, bedspread not too heavy. Excellent stay for one night!

Room was showing a bit of wear...shower grout needed attention as did the shower faucet (came off in hand) but overall room was clean and served it's purpose. You can't beat the close proximity to OSU Campus!

Our first time staying at the Best Western Cimarron. Loved the location--close to OSU and our college kids! Loved the decor, and the hot breakfast was good. The room was nice, however, ours was a little noisy in the morning as it was close to a rear exit. Was disappointed that checkout was 11:00am and was only able to get a Noon late checkout when we really needed 12:30pm.

It is such a pleasure to stay at the Cimarron in Stillwater. We come up for football games and parent's weekend and would not consider staying anywhere else. They welcome us as old friends and we truly feel the warmth and caring from start to finish. The breakfast buffet is amazing. The staff goes out of their way to prepare new recipes so there is always a new dish to try.

We stayed at the Cimarron Hotel and Suites last weekend while in Stillwater for a wedding. The staff were all very courteous. The rooms are quite large and very clean. The breakfast each day was very good and offers a nice selection. I would definitely stay here again without hesitation.

This is one of the best hotels I have stayed in. The rooms were clean,large,and very nice. The staff was very nice and caring witch is always a great thing. The breakfast was quite good as well .If in Stillwater ok. this is the to stay.

We'll definitely stay here again. The staff is terrific, and the rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is in a great location near many popular restaurants. We had a family event, with several of us staying in the rooms here, and everyone was pleased.

We are currently staying here for a 2 day baseball tournament. The staff has been so friendly, the rooms are clean, the shower with the body jets was a nice touch, and the kids love the pool. Half of the pool is 3 feet (both ends) and the middle is 4 ft. This is great for my young kids. The hot tub was nice as well. But the biggest surprise was the complimentary breakfast. We were going to skip it, thinking it would just be your normal bread items. But, they had scrambled eggs, bacon, fresh waffles, sausage, fruit, assorted cereals, a juice bar, etc. I have been pleasantly surprised (as I haven't stayed at a Best Western in years) and look forward to returning next year.

Arrived late & tired, without a reservation, and was so blessed by smiling, helpful Andrew at the front desk who made me feel welcome & found a room that fit my needs. My room (#201 I think?) was beautiful & I instantly wished I didn't have to leave before dawn because it was the kind of room you'd rather linger in than rush off. Spacious, spotless with flat screen TV, fridge/micro. Free wifi with great signal. Slept well on super comfortable bed with lovely linens & lots of pillows. Abundant supply of fat, fluffy towels. Even though I had to leave very early, breakfast was already set up. Reed & Johnny were equally as smiling & helpful at check out as Andrew had been at check in. Would definitely stay here again.

The staff was friendly and the room very clean. Looks like they had renovated recently. Wasn't too hip on the western décor, but given where we were (close proximity to OSU campus) I guess it fit. The only complaint I had was something to do with the TV and the sound settings kept popping up. Could not get to the menu to get it to stop. Other than that it was fine.

Ok, fine, this is the only Best Western and it is the closest accommodation to campus, since the Atherton Hotel is closed and it is ON campus. The Best Western Plus is a wonderful place. It was quiet, except for outside noises that the hotel had no control of. The breakfast has hot protein ( eggs, bacon, sausage). The front staff was very friendly. I loved it. I would stay here again.

We came for a wedding and this was the perfect place to be able to unwind and relax. Large rooms, clean and quiet. The bed was great, but I did find the pillows to be hard for me, I Like feathers, but my husband found the pillows great. This is close to the University and all the activities. Also close to shopping and easy way to get to the interstate highway. It was a pleasure to stay here. Would come again if out this way. We live in Far Eastern section of Oklahoma.

This is a very clean, nice hotel to stay at in Stillwater Texas.It had all the amenities that we needed. Although, it was a little difficult to find as it is not on the main highway, it was in a great location. It is within walking distance to the OSU campus. I will stay here again.

Clean room, good breakfast, and great customer service - not to mention mid afternoon cookies, delicious. Hotel hallways had a pleasant smell and room was clean to include fresh towels and toiletries.

The staff was friendly and took good care of us. I asked for a quiet place for an online meeting I was due to have before check in time. When we arrived, they already had a room ready for us to move right into to. Breakfast was hot and very good. Comfortable sleeping. Quiet. Clean. This is where we will stay when we go to Stillwater.

This hotel has an obvious and large front entry so you know where to enter off North Husband Street. It is well lit and the hallways are wide. I had a first floor room and it was lovely. IT was quite except for loud noises from the neighborhood, but that was not the fault of the hotel. The breakfast is good- you get hot eggs and biscuits, sausage, hard boiled eggs, coffee, tea, juice and milk. I think there were whole fresh fruit and other continental items, I would stay here again.

I also pick this hotel for my travel in this area twice a year. Always a good experience. Perfect location. All the options I need. I always look for a Best Western when looking for a hotel because of this one in Stillwater!

Always stay at Best Western. Close to business and conference headquarters at the Wes Watkins Center. Make sure you clean the iron good before you use it.. The staff is always friendly and will meet your needs when possible. The convenience to restaurants and shopping is a major plus.

We always stay here for a conference we attend twice a year. Even when the hotel is filled to capacity, the staff are nice and things seem to go off without any problems. Check-in can take quite a while at certain times. Only con was the awful coffee they served every day with breakfast. I wish they made more of an effort to serve good coffee so I didn't have to purchase some elsewhere. Breakfast was better than a lot of hot continental breakfasts tastewise but they did not offer many choices.

This Best Western is very good for the typical Best Western hotel. The rooms are great, the bathroom fixtures and set ups a very high class, and the exercise center is modern. I have stayed at this hotel, while on several work trips during the past few years. Other than a few minor issues that were resolved in the past few years (no towels in exercise center, no printer paper, front desk issues), I highly recommend this hotel. On my most recent stay in 2016, I experienced poor attentiveness by those working the front desk area. Because of this, I had to rate as "very good", but not "excellent".

We were very happy with the accommodations, much better that what we have had at other hotels. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the staff was very courteous and helpful. We will definitely recommend this hotel to any one that is looking to stay in Stillwater, OK.

We had two rooms because we wanted to be close to campus. It's just a short couple of block walk from the football stadium. Driving distance to other main areas of Stillwater is very convenient. The hotel is lovely and clean with its cowboy/western decor without being too cutesy. It has some very nice artwork and furnishings. Rooms were very clean. Beds are on the soft side but felt like quality mattresses. Breakfast is the usual continental bacon, sausage, eggs, waffle, etc....It was good for what it is and included in room price. We will certainly stay here again when we're in the area.

This hotel had staff that seemed indifferent at times. Check-in and check-out times are unreasonable. Policy regarding alerting hotel guests about smoking occurring in rooms needs revision. The entire hotel should not be disturbed due to one room's guests smoking.

Great hotel and great location to the college, within walking distance to the football and basketball stadiums, also a great complementary breakfast with many options, very friendly staff who was very helpful

My photo group stays here every year and have yet to be disappointed. Bed is excellent. Free WiFi is a plus. Breakfast bar includes hot items such as bacon and scrambled eggs. New this year is a sausage and egg muffin.

Decor was beautiful, bed very comfortable, and overall I expected only the "basics" but found it to be a very well furnished/decorated hotel with many more amenities than I expected in a Best Western. Very pleasantly surprised with the quality of this hotel

The hotel itself was roomy, clean, pet friendly (nightly fee) and had free parking.The room was spacious and cute. It had a very comfy bed. There was a counter top/cabinet area with a coffee maker, microwave and fridge. The bathroom had everything we could need, and the front desk had even more if you forgot anything. We were there 3 nights and the hot water was plentiful. The breakfast area is really roomy, with a variety of things to chose from. If you want to take food up to your room the front desk is really nice and will provide you with a tray. In the evening there are yummy cookies downstairs along with coffee and various teas. If we return to Stillwater this is where you can find us!

We stayed here for 4 nights during the week while visiting family. Hotel was very quiet and only a few other guests. Loved that this was pet friendly as we like to take our dog with us as much as possible. Great breakfast, always cookies available in the lobby, friendly and helpful staff. Our child got sick one of the nights and we needed new bedding. Don't think it was 5 minutes after we called and someone was there to change the sheets.

Have stayed here four times, usually during the week. Found the hotel with very few guests and quiet. Staff very courteous. Room for four is spacious. Breakfast is well presented and a good variety. Our children always enjoy the pool and we the hot tub.

I decided on this location in February and reserved the room then because of how close to the Oklahoma State University campus it is. The bonus was the friendly staff, one of whom had the same class and instructor that I did this past spring. She is so nice (sorry I lost the paper with your name) and friendly. The room was clean and the sheets and towels were nice. The elevator is shall we say somewhat slow but functional. The frig and microwave a nice bonus. The fresh cookies at check in great as was the fresh fruit. Panera next door was a convenient choice for dinner and a short walk thru the well lit parking lots adjoining the two properties. The pool and hottub area were clean and there were plenty of towels available. The hotel's location was also awesome as the weather was nice enough to walk to my graduation. Thank you to the hard working staff of the Best Western Plus in Stillwater, Oklahoma State University.

The hotel was exceptional in all respects. The room was immaculate, nicely furnished and comfortable. The bed was better than at home. The continental breakfast was great, they offered everything you could want to start your day. Staff was nice and always helpful. Beautiful hotel, with amenities, comfort and a great location all for a very fair price.

The room were clean, breakfast was very good and motel location was close to my destination. The big, big concern is that my room was located under a bar which was terribly noise until in the morning hours - I could not sleep and I thing it is terrible that a motel would build a bar on the top floor of the motel- the very worst place for it to be.

I stayed at the BW Cimarron for two nights over the Thanksgiving break and I had never been there before so I figured I'd try it. The grounds and the lobby are impressive, but my room itself did not match the hotel's ground and lobby vibe. The room was mostly clean – cobwebs in lower and upper corners, and was appointed with the usual appliances ( flat-screen tv, mini fridge, microwave, hairdryer, coffee & maker, etc). What stuck out was there was only one chair at the desk – no other chair, loveseat - nothing. Since only me, it was workable, but still noticeable in comparison to other hotels of similar class I've experienced. The bathroom was modern and paralleled the hotel's Cimarron vibe ( brown/bronze/cinnamon )... The thermostat was slow to respond and the ‘constant on' fan never worked. The bed was comfortable, but for this caliber hotel, I expected an even more comfortable mattress. Wifi connected easily and worked as expected. Check-in was fast and throughout my stay the staff was friendly and helpful. Business center equipped with two Win 7 machine and a printer. The pool / spa were nice – especially since they're indoor. The continental breakfast was slightly above average. The hotel was in walking distance of OSU , restaurants and some shops. The onsite bar would have been a neat option to explore, but it was closed and/or dead during my stay. (Not really hotel fault here – small town culture doesn't party much on sacred holidays)… I've stayed at many hotels in the Stillwater area, over the years. Not sure how this one is ranked #3. Maybe proximity to OSU gives it an edge? But hotel compared to hotel – it's like the Fairfield Inn or the Wydham - just not as good (IMHO). That said, I would stay again – mostly just sleep there and maybe partake of some breakfast… If I was the BWC – maybe see if you can make the rooms a little more livable by adding a chair/ottoman or small loveseat…

Good hotel, central location. Needs a bar close :) but other than that, everything was as expected. The breakfast is nothing fancy but as expected. The facilities looked well kept and clean and the staff was friendly.

This hotel is always a pleasant experience and the price is excellent. It is very close to the conference facilities. The employees are very professional, yet personable. We don't even consider staying at other hotels.

Enjoyed our stay even though it was only one night. Beds were very comfortable and room was very large and very clean. Breakfast buffet had a good variety of food. Will definitely stay there again when we go to Stillwater.

Dirty towel left in bathroom, handle fell off the shower and all for just $135.00 a night. I would recommend going down the road. Desk clerk friendly, but the bartender was not. Breakfast on the other hand was good. Still not worth the money.

I've stayed here 4-5 times while visiting my son on campus. The front desk and staff are very nice and accommodating. Rooms are spacious and clean with refrigerators, microwave ovens and coffee makers. Free breakfast with plentiful choices. Location is just blocks from campus. Many restaurants within walking or short driving distance. Will definitely return.

Started on the road October 30, 2015 from New Braunfels, TX to Stillwater,OK, for the Big 12 Cross Country meet. Got caught in the horrible weather that flooded the IH-35 corridor. We called the hotel and told them our situation and would be arriving late. We arrived after 18 hours on the road (7.5 hour normal trip). Arrived at 7:30 am. Just enough time to shower, sleep two hours and go see the race. As we were leaving to the race, the clerk informed us that they saw the Weather Channel and felt bad about our situation. They let us stay the night at a reduced rate. They could not have been more gracious. We thought we were hosed and this place came through. The room was nice, the free breakfast was good, and the proximity to the OSU campus was very convenient. This is my go-to place when I travel to Stillwater. Saying Thank you to these folks seems insufficient. We'll be back

Clean spacious rooms- nicely decorated hotel with a western vibe. Nice tiled bathrooms with bronze fixtures. Refrigerator, microwave, in room safe. I got a great deal on Hotels.com for $90 a night. Will definitely return if I come back for business.

I have not stayed at a Best Western for 15 years. This one was very close to OSU, and had several restaurants within a few blocks. It was quiet, included free, limited breakfast, checkin in and out was fast, but still appears to be a budget style hotel.

Though I was only here one night, everything from check-in to check-out was delightful. In addition, the buffet breakfast in the morning was fresh and nicely presented. I want to make a special mention to the front desk clerk, Kate Ellis, who was especially accommodating! She was efficient and very helpful. It was her sincerity and attentiveness that made me want to write this review. My only concern, and I brought this to the attention of Kate, was that the shower doors lacked a handle for sliding them open from the inside. I am very sure she passed on my concerns as she was so thorough in every detail.

The hotel desk did not outline their checkout times or give a bill for express check out. When asked the desk did not know the policy and then the manager charged 49.99 for the extra hours time on two rooms!

Booked a room for the night before my husbands shoulder surgery since this location was only a few minutes away from the hospital. We arrived around 7pm and check in was fast and efficient. They had cookies on the counter and bottles of water in a cooler in the lounge area for guests which was a nice touch. This hotel only has one elevator so if a lot of people are waiting it seems like it takes forever to get to your room. Our room was on the 3rd floor and it was very spacious and modern. It had a queen bed with work desk and a good size flat screen TV. I liked the fact that the sleeping area was a little separate from the bathroom and it made it feel like two rooms. Room was quite and I didn't hear any sounds from other rooms or the hall which was helpful since we had to get up early! The bathroom was big enough to actually be functional and not like you were in a hole in the wall! The room also had a small fridge and I put my water bottles that I brought from home in it but they never got cold even after adjusting the temp way down. The bed was not that comfortable to sleep in and it was a rough night. I will say it was a good stay even with those minor issues. I didn't say anything about the fridge because we checked out very early the next morning but I hope the next person does. I was able to grab a muffin on the way out as they had some of the breakfast items out for guests which was great and I was thankful for while I was stuck at the hospital for hours! Now this hotel is in a great location near plenty of places to eat and shop and if I get to stay again I will visit the bar that is supposed to be on the 4th floor.

This hotel exceeded my expectations. It is within walking distance of the OSU campus, and close to dining (including Eskimo Joe's). The breakfast was excellent. Rooms were modern, clean and quiet. The staff was friendly and competent. Great value.

Stayed a single night during a home football game. Great Staff and enjoyable guest. The breakfast allowed for all types of diets ranging from traditional breakfast food to fruits. The lounge allowed for great relaxing.

Hotel has everything going for it except ONE THING, read on. Beautiful hotel! Room was spacious and beds super comfortable. Luxury bathroom. Excellent breakfast. However, there was a big problem with noise. Do not stay in rooms 325 or 327 as they are directly below the 4th floor bar that stays open until 11 p.m. After midnight noise stopped, but before then it was impossible to sleep with all the chairs scooting across the floor & people walking back and forth. Sounded like a heard of elephants! Did not find out about this until after we checked in and when we complained, staff did nothing about it. They should not rent these rooms unless people check in after 11 p.m. I cannot understand how this place could put people in rooms with so much noise. At first I thought there was someone fighting in the neighboring room, but later found out it was just that a bar was directly above our room on the 3rd floor. Not sure how noise level is in other rooms. But beware.

Great place to stay when visiting my daughter at OSU. The room I was in was spacious, clean and appealing. Staff was polite, professional and helpful. I only stayed for one evening and spent most of my time at the college campus, but the location was convienent for me and its right next door to Panera Bread which is another perk for a healthy meal or snack option.

I had a delightful experience at this hotel. It was clean, very modern, quiet, close to the convention center and very reasonable on rates. Staff were friendly and helpful. Breakfast was hot and good. It was easy to drive to and to park.
