Best Western Plus Hotel Saint Peter, Saint Peter

The bed frame was broken, so when you satt on the bed to get in, you were alomost sitiing on the floor. and the room was very dirty. The floor and counter had a sticky substance on it. The toilet paper holder was broke/missing.

We were only in town for 1 night but our room, the amenities, and staff were all great. We will definitely stay there again when we're in the area! We were going to stay closer to our venue but so glad we came to Best Western.

You will not get what you expected for the price you pay. They make this hotel look wonderful but it is not what it seems. The breakfast was horrible, the hot tub was broken and the parking lot was full of snow and ice. They had time to make it safer for guests.

Stayed for 3 nights. Hotel is only 2 years old so it's modern. I thought it was a little too expensive even with a discount for the block of rooms for a wedding, but the other hotel available was not pet friendly and I had my little dog. Breakfast was suitable with a variety of items and the area was very clean. I heard a lot of sounds from the room above me so the hotel didn't seem to be properly sound proofed. Staff was very accommodating and assisted in recharging the lock on the door when my key stopped working. It took a little while to get this done but that was not the fault of the hotel. All in all, it was a good stay although it was more expensive than I expected.

Hotel stay x 1 night in August '21; was put in an ADA room. Next morning, I noticed the front of the bathrooms toilet was soiled (clearly, not from me). I took a pix, and showed it to the young man at the front desk. His response (lack thereof) was as disappointing as the soiled toilet. He looked at the picture in disgust, but didn't apologize and didn't offer/provide any customer service recovery (just kept clicking his keyboard). You could also hear all the road traffic noise. What a disappointment!!! The only upside, the whole wheat bread (breakfast) was really good. I asked about the brand, the hotel staff couldn't tell me, except that it came from Sysco.

Mary, I apologize for the issues you encountered during your stay with us, I'll personally address both the housekeeping issue you encountered, and the lack of apology you received from the front desk agent. I hope that you give us another chance in the future, and we can improve upon this experience of our hotel and give you the true Best Western Plus St Peter experience. Also, our bread is from Baker's Source, shipped by Sysco.

Great hotel, nice amenities and pet friendly! Breakfast needs to be better, but overall great stay! If you get a chance check out the local winery and distillery in town, it was great! 10 minutes from Mankato and right off the hwy

What a wonderful place to stay to get away from the cities. The lobby is nicely updated, the rooms were big, spacious and we loved the hardwood floors. The bathrooms were clean with plenty of space, a very nice sized shower. The breakfast was your typical BW breakfast, some cereal, eggs, yogurts, fruits but it was very delicious. The pool, albeit a little small was very clean and looked updated, along with a nice hottub. We will definitely be back when we want to get away from Minneapolis.

Clean hotel with hardwood floors in rooms which I liked. There were at least two sports teams staying here and yet heard no noise in our room and breakfast was kept stocked. Breakfast was wrapped muffins, toast/bagel, cereal/oatmeal, and then biscuits you could heat up in microwave with gravy in a warmer.

Stayed here four nights and will be back for another next week. Excellent property!!! Quiet, extremely comfortable room, walking trail and trail next to the lake nearby, even a dog park up the hill. Pool and hot tub were great, and all alone given the pandemic. Breakfast choices were good to microwave in the room.

My friend and I stayed here during a very busy weekend (wedding and graduation!). The only rooms available were ADA rooms. **Because we didn't see any other rooms, this rating might improve if other rooms don't have the same problem!** Pros: Very clean, comfortable bed, great water pressure, very friendly staff Cons: Shower design was atrocious. The entire bathroom, and I do mean the ENTIRE bathroom, flooded every time we showered. We went through multiple towels just trying to soak up the water. There wasn't something wrong with it--the curtain was simply five inches too short and there was absolutely nothing, not even a slight grade, to prevent the water from reaching six feet away. Because the nozzle was on the far wall, you couldn't even change the direction to help keep it in the shower. Noise level: also atrocious. We could hear every word of every conversation, even low voices, from the connecting room. The room had no rug (I assume to be ADA-compliant), and absolutely everything echoed. We got intimate details about how the people next to us wanted to raise their kids. And I feel badly for them, because I watched TV until midnight and I know they could hear every word as well. Add carpet in the ADA rooms and/or increase the wall insulation! Ultimately, the hotel felt like an IKEA. Everything was pretty, clean, and minimalist, and when you look closer, the quality just isn't there. I'd stay there again because it was so clean, but I would NOT get an ADA room.

However, we do sincerely apologize for the shower and noise issues you elaborated on. Yes, ADA rooms definitely present a serious challenge for those reasons you mentioned. If you stay again, hopefully we can assign you to a regular room, which would have a normal tub or shower, and would also not have the connecting doors, as only the ADA rooms have those connecting doors -- that would probably minimize the noise issue as well. Also, thank you for your insight in realizing that with us being sold out we wouldn't have had any other rooms to move you to -- but if the availability had been there, we certainly would have tried. We hope you'll give us another chance whenever your travels bring you back to St Peter. Thank you -

The hotel rooms were very nice - clean and updated. Nice to not have carpet in the rooms Hallways and lobby looked nice and clean. The continental breakfast set up was great with a lot of options along with a grab and go option. Recently renovated! The hotel staff were very friendly.

Great stay, professional staff, clean and comfortable rooms. Breakfast was lacking though compared to other Best Westerns. Weekend getaway to visit Patricks on 3rd and Third St tavern. Will definitely stay there again

Stayed for business, This place was so clean and nice it was incredible relaxing place to come to after a hard day and to be able to bring a large "Boss dog" without any issues was so nice. Definitely would go out of my way or drive farther to stay here again.

This is a very nice hotel that was a pleasure to stay at. In addition to clean and comfortable guest rooms the hotel also has an EV charger on site so I was able to charge my vehicle to full without having to go in to town to charge there. Had no issues at all with my stay.

This is the place to stay when coming to St. Peter, MN. Hotel is new and very clean, the hotel employees are wearing masks and doing their best following covid rules. Rooms are clean and well put together. Staff is friendly and very accommodating and knowledgeable about the area. Highly recommend this hotel.

This is an up to date hotel. It had a nice common area. Rooms are nice sized with comfortable beds. Staff were polite and helpful. Lots of common amenities. Price was fair maybe a little high. Only slight negative was highway out front was noticable. Grounds were clean, very clean.

The hotel is newer and very nice. The double queen room was very spacious. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest as I found a few hairs in the shower but overall the room was good. Right next to a gas station, right off the main highway but not super noisy in the rooms.

Great place to stay. Very clean. With Covid on the mind, we felt very safe . Friendly staff , updated room with all amenities. Great location, easy in, easy out. Suite was very nice! Televisions in both rooms. Very comfortable bed. We will definitely stay here again!

The staff was great! Helpful and very friendly. They had to fix my reservation because I messed it up when I booked it. They were thankfully able to get me a handicap accessible room. The room was clean and comfortable. Will definitely stay again if in the area.

A new hotel well managed. It's only a 15-minute drive to Mankato so you don't necessarily have to look for a hotel in Mankato. Both two major hotels in St. Peter have the same if not better values than many hotels in Mankato (personal opinion) since I've tried many hotels in the greater Mankato area. Services in Mankato are great, but St. Peter is a place with additional quietness and conveniences also.

Newer hotel that is very clean and modern. Great rooms, fitness center and breakfast. Staff was great - courteous, attentive and efficient. I stay at a lot of hotels for my work - this was a very nice surprise. Don't stay at Best Westerns often - but need to!

Clean, fresh and new. Not many rooms if any have a tub and a shower so state your preference, tubs are not deep. Complimentary breakfast is wonderful serving in a very clean and specious area. Beds are very comfortable. Like many new Hotels no carpeting. I would for sure come back.

This brand new hotel on highway 169 is St. Peter is lovely. Outstanding front desk staff, clean, nice rooms, ample parking, and very pet welcoming. Not just pet friendly, but pet welcoming! Great place to stay!

Great stay ! Friendly upbeat desk staff. Helped me find dinner and were great to the dogs. Spotlessly clean and comfortable. Great fresh, hot breakfast. Asked about dog excercise area and staff was great. Then I met the maintenance man. Ruined my morning. Obviously he does not like dogs.

My Husband I stayed at this hotel. Staff is very friendly, helpful and kind. We stayed in the king room. It was a wow. Lovely room tastefully decorated.. Very clean. Bed was very comfortable bathroom has a large shower, with nice glass doors. Mirror is large with built in lights. Towels are large and fluffy. There is a wall mirror on the wall. The room has refrigerator with freezer on top. Also microwave and coffee maker. Super nice breakfast with a lovely lounge to eat in.

My family and I were on our trip to Minneapolis so we decided to stay in St Peter and we were so happy and I was so tired so it worked out really well. My Kids love the swimming pool and the staff were super friendly. kids love the swimming pool and the staff were super friendly It is very clean and modern. It was fantastic! Highly recommend!

The staff at the hotel went above and beyond on our recent stay for parents hospital care and parents funeral . They were very accommodating on our room request and location as we wanted our son and his family near our room. Most members of staff knew our names after a few days.

The new Best Western in St. Peter is absolutely stunning! The rooms are spacious and beautiful. Staff was extremely welcoming from the moment I stepped into the lobby. Bed was comfortable and the bathroom was clean and spacious. Breakfast was warm and plentiful. I highly recommend this Best Western when staying in the Mankato area.

Clean hotel, nice rooms, friendly staff, good breakfast! Only issue was the pool floor was VERY slippery, so we kind of had to skate across the floor after my 2 yr old fell and hit his head, but he was ok. Besides that, it was a great place to stay!

First Best Western I have stayed in years! Great service and the brand new building and decor was excellent. It was very easy to find and makes use want to go back to St. Peter again. We will definitely stay there again.

cook did not show up for work! Front desk clerk could not keep up with trying to do both jobs. Where the heck was the manager??? we were expecting much better breakfast experience. I guess best western is not what it used to be

Our stay was very nice and comfortable. Pool floor slippery, it could use a little texture to make it less slippery. The breakfast was good and plenty of variety to choose from. We will stay here again.

This property is so new that the "fragrance" of fresh paint and new drywall was still in the air during our recent stay. As a consequence, everything is bright, shiny and working to perfection. The room decor is modern, beds and pillows comfy, floors tile (no carpet), USB outlets galore and bathroom the brightest, most modern we've experienced as seasoned Best Western travelers. Even the mini fridge has the convenience of a separate freezer compartment, just like a full size fridge. Breakfast is provided in a variety of hot and cold items and the breakfast area seating is ample. The staff is eager to assist and makes guests feel right at home from the time they check in until departure. Because of the value we received, we are glad we made the decision to stop here and would return in the future without any hesitation.

Very nice, new, clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. The flooring is laminate so you can really tell if it is clean. The decor was nice. The breakfast area was large enough for everyone. The waffles were good

This is a nicely appointed newer facility. That said, I found the room ventilation to be very inadequate. I returned to my room on the second day and everything felt damp. The vanity lighting in the bathroom is quite dim making shaving difficult. Street noise from Highway was quite noticeable. Both evenings I was well aware of the footsteps from the guests in the room above me. Overall this place looks nicer than it is in reality.

new, clean rooms, sofa bed needs improved certainly not for adult to sleep on. Rooms nice size with small fridge, microwave and stove top in suite. Pool very nice, breakfast adequate. Very pleasant stay. Cute little town

It is a great hotel, with a good breakfast and very friendly staff. Good location to the highway, and only a mile and half from a great park. Also very quiet and enjoyable. Jesse at the front desk was a great help. And very willing to help.

I was driving thru town with the kids to the cities and the guy at the gas station said there is a new hotel in town just up the street. Holy cow, Wow, it is a beautiful new property with a pool and spa that is super cool. The kids loved it. The breakfast was great, the rooms were upscale and the bed was super comfy!
