Je m’inscris The place was dirty, the internet was intermittently weak. It's apparently dog friendly which is fine, but dogs and their owners should be separated from guests that prefer sleeping over listening to incessantly barking dogs. We had a very poor nights sleep due to a barking puppy apparently left alone while the owners left to go to breakfast early. TV did not access typically viewed sporting channels.
the gentleman who checked us in was great the breakfast was great but could have a little more to offer and some of things used like cereal container should be replaced. The bedrooms need to be upgraded. Should have better tv service because it was difficult to get on
This was our 2nd time staying at Best Western. This time we were very dissatisfied. Our room smelled very bad due to the AC. The front of it was falling off. Looked like it had mold inside of it. The room was dusty and dirty. The bathroom door know was coming off the door. This was our grandkids FIRST time staying in a hotel and I hate that they had to stay in one that was this dirty.
The room floor was filthy. The bathroom door handle was hanging off and about to fall out of the door. The bathroom ceiling was rusted and moldy. The bathroom walls were dirty and damaged. The room smelled terribly of "deodorizer perfume". The AC didn't work properly.
Tried 3 different rooms with dead flies covering each bedspread. One room had a hand towel that was used as toilet paper. Disgusting. After 3 different rooms I refused to stay. Since I booked through Expedia the BW dump is refusing a refund.
Overall the room the room was clean and the breakfast was great! We found it to be relaxing. Very easy to access to the Internet.
Although this is an aging hotel, it was very clean and quiet. The rates are very reasonable and its location is very easy from I-40. There are three fuel stations located very close to the hotel and it is locted next to a Colton Steakhouse, which was very good. The decor is dated and is in need of replacing. We like being able to park directly in front of the room. The hotel replaced thier toilets with hi-rise ones which is good for senior citizens.
We recently stayed at the Best Western in Russelville, AR and the rooms were terrible . The beds were old and very uncomfortable and the air conditioner kept kicking off letting the room get extremely hot. They must be controlled by a master switch controlled by the hotel.
Poor attitudes in staff, rooms were disgusting, zero offers given to switch rooms, had to buy our own sheets and cleaning supplies, we all refused to use shower due to ceiling issues
Everything was better than expected. Especially appreciated the well lit parking lot. So wonderful to be greeted in a genuine friendly manner. My stay here was substantially better than much higher priced hotels.
The staff is great. It is an older inn. The bedding was clean and the beds were comfortable. The room had stains on the walls. I would rate the cleanliness a 5 out of 10. I would not choose to stay here again.
While it is an older hotel and a bit dated, my stay was great. The rooms were quiet and clean. The staff were great and it's close to many restaurants and gas stations. Easy access to highway. This hotel is affordable and well worth the stay.
The room appeared as though it had not been cleaned or at least not thoroughly. Our room had bug carcasses that were very large, bedsheets were more than a little damp and a blue pill was on the floor in the bathroom. Staff was helpful and quickly got us a new room and said they would be talking with cleaning staff. Second room was much cleaner but still not great. Water pressure was also not the best.
This is the best motel I have ever stayed in very quiet and clean close to places to eat I stay here when I make a trip to Oklahoma city the staff is excellent always will to help and answer any questions u may have
Great Hotel, Room was clean, Everything was in order. Bathroom was large and very clean. We asked for a main floor room and they were very accommodating. Front Desk was very helpful and friendly. We would stay here again when in the area.
Billing issues I made the reservations for myself Wife and our family and got my brother his own room when my brother arrive before us he paid for his room and then when we arrived we played for our room lo and behold whenever it hit our bank account both rooms were charged to my account and my brothers room was still charged to his account the “manager” said there was nothing she could do and that the owner would be in contact with me well here we are still haven't heard from anybody And also after sleeping in the bed on the part of the sheet that was tucked in was a nice little quarter size bloodstain we found this after we slept in the morning 1/10 never staying at the best Western in Russellville again lot better mom and pop hotels around
clean, everything in good working order, fabric surfaces in the rooms like the upholstered chairs and bedding feel damp and sticky, even with A/C running full blast. (The last time we stayed here the bed linens were placed on the beds WET. We didn't want to deal with wet linens after a long day of travel and long day of family reunion, so we put Do Not Disturb on our door) Breakfast was ok, could use a little more variety. Front desk service lady Mallory was extremely helpful sorting out some changes for us, Thank you Mallory! :) Have stayed before, will probably stay again.
The whole staff was very kind! Great breakfast service and I enjoyed the room as well. This was a work trip and the BW team made this a pleasant experience for me and my crew, everything was fast and efficient!
Nice room, but problems with room key card and coffee maker kept my review around the "6" mark. The front desk clerk was very courteous and accommodating when I had to return my room keycard for another, after just a couple of hours. The room was OK and the bed was great, but the in-room coffee maker didn't work. Overall, I thin this motel is a decent value, but they're missing a few fairly important details.
Not as nice as other best westerns. I woukdnt have wanted to stay here alone but overall decent. I saw no bugs. Carpet was old. Bathroom updated. Hot water good. Bed was not very comfy. I expected more.
staff wasn't as helpful as I'd hope. But the breakfast was good and the location was perfect. The amenities like long distance calling wasn't available and that was a stressful part of my trip that wasn't needed
Examine the mattress and bedding in the room before checking in. And if you still stay, check your bill before leaving the property. But be aware that trying to resolve overcharges, such as $90 for long distance phone charges, at the counter or with the manager may not work. As a travel writer we are on the road a lot. We often frequent Best Western properties. In posting reviews, I strive to find something good to say. This was one of our first bad experiences and it was also one of the worst issues encountered in years.
This place was terrible!! I cannot believe that BW let's them use their brand. The rooms need to be completely revamped. There was stuff (dirt, stains)on the walls and on the curtains and the carpet and the furniture is run down. We felt gross being in the rooms we were in. I say rooms because the first room had ants in it and we asked to be moved. I hoped the second would be better but less the ants, no! I would have left but it was late. It was so dirty that I refused to change into pj's or get into the bed under the covers. In the morning there was some sort of bug on the wall. If those were the best rooms I would hate to see the worst.
This hotel is very run down. The mattresses are not very comfortable. They are very old. Staff was very nice. Definitely didn't try the breakfast there. The entire hotel needs renovations. Great location though.
Traveling west for work decided to stop here for the night. Checked in and immediately checked out after seeing the room. This place hasn't been touched up since around 1970. But that's not the whole problem the room smelled . The covers were stained in the beds. (Like don't even try to hide that you don't clean them) dead bug in fridge. Just nasty and don't go .
I was surprised that this best western was like a drive up motel, but the room was clean and comfortable, though a little dated. The breakfast was good and the motel staff was very friendly. We had two grandchildren with us, and the room was small, but still we were comfortable.
Our stay started on 05/29/2022 and ended 05/31/2022 two nights and things started off on a very high note Ms Sophie the young lady at the counter was an absolute joy very sweet very caring and very helpful she got us checked in right away and even spent the time to help us look up our rewards account that had not been used since 2015 and she made it work and got us able to log into our account next the room unbelievably clean yes it is an older hotel if you want up to date modern room this is not your place if you want a very clean room with very comfortable beds then you got it here we had a two queen bed room each bed had 4 pillows and they were not those old wore out smashed flat pillows these dudes has some life left in them lol so now that we have gotten a great clean room with great queen beds with amazing pillows and we wake up on the 30th after getting.a great nights rest we head up for breakfast holy cow now for choices 3 types cold cereal, make your own oatmeal bar, coffee which wife said was amazing don't drink the stuff Apple and orange juice and milk and now you have the best part waffles biscuits and gravy sausage patties scrambled eggs and all that is free with your amazingly clean and comfortable room with not flat pillows and now for another great surprise there is Ms Sophie with her beautiful smiling face there with sweet good morning and to offer any help needed and that was just day one we were going to check out and be on our way but why not stay one more night it's clean it has great fluffy pillows big comfortable beds and did I mention the cleaning staff they are just as sweet as Ms Sophie so after our 2 night we are going to go back and get a great breakfast bam Ms Sophie with a sweet good morning we get to talk to the hotel manager please forgive me I forget her name but she is just as sweet and helpful as Ms Sophie so if your going down I40 headed though Russellville Arkansas do your self your back and your mind a favor and book you a room at the Best Western INN your body with love you for it because the beds are comfortable and the pillows are Fluffy and you will be completely recharged after a good night's rest and a breakfast with so many choices you won't know where to start. I say the biscuits and gravy with some scrambled eggs and don't forget to tell Ms Sophie Paul sent you because you have 4 big Fluffy pillows on the bed
Only stayed one night while passing through town on our road trip. Handy for getting I to room by being able to park next to entry door of room. Excellent breakfast with good choices and great tasting food.
From the Moment you wake through the ft doors you are greater with a smile and know you picked the right place to stay till the moment you leave with have the warm FULL BREAKFAST they provide. Thank you for a wonderful stay.
Clean room. Good location and friendly staff. If you need a clean room to get some rest for a fair price this hotel fits the Bill. Trip advisor is telling me I only used 130 characters and I need at least 200 which is stupid but I'll just keep typing until I hit 200
The appearance and cleanliness of the motel is quite nice. Located central to many great places to eat. Very quiet despite being by the interstate, no road noise whatsoever. The young lady who checked us in recommended Colton's Steak House, which was right next door, and she was absolutely correct!!
Boards under mattress extended past mattress causing trip hazard and shin bone contact. Cable was disconnected and then pixilated. Ice machine nonfunctional. Room had unpleasant odor of cheap cleaning chemicals. Breakfast was horrible. Coffee and juices watered down. Advance request for floor room to accomidate wife's hip issues was not honored or corrected on request.
Nice stay, priced right and conveniently located. Only issue was the morning clerk(younger guy shaved or balding head) seems to have an issue with anyone of Hispanic or resembling color by his behavior. When I went in for breakfast(I was the only one in the dining area) he made it very clear he was watching me. Like I was someone off the street stealing food. A sign very clearly states, “do not take food from this area” however while I sat and ate I saw several people that resembled the clerks appearance take food out past him with no issue. I left and gathered our things, drove to the front and went in to check out. He was on his cell phone and made it very clear that I was interrupting him and just stared at me. Finally I explained I needed to check out. He half way pulled the phone from his ear and stated to put the key in the drop box. I asked for a receipt to which he seemed put out. He printed the receipt and handed it to me without a word and immediately went back to his phone call. Again, as my title states one bad apple because this definitely took what would have been a good stay in a clean room and otherwise friendly staff and ended it all on a sour note. Definitely NOT what I am used to from Best Western staff.
This hotel is excellent. Easy access right off of Interstate 40. Numerous restaurants within walking distance. Rooms were extremely clean and very comfortable. Front desk workers were wonderful. The pool must be closed for the summer as it was not open during our last couple of stays.
Good place to stay and only issue was the mattress which was a uncomfortable. Staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good and a nice room not all crowded. In a great location and close to many things to go and see and explore. Several different restaurants close by and easy to get in and out of Best Western and some close that you could walk to.
Let me start out by saying I am handicapped-wheelchair. Reservations made approximately 6 weeks in advance for handicapped, ground floor unit. Memphis Best Western; pathetic-checking in approximately 4:30PM, reservation not found, put in a room where wheelchair could not get in the bathroom. Changed room next day. Tried for 3 days to talk to manager, never there. WON'T go back. RUSSELLVILLE Best Wesrtern GREAT. Staff and unit were top-notch,looking forward to going back.
The front desk staff are rude and make you feel you are bothering them when you check-in and out. They ran out of food at breakfast at 8 am and no one was attempting to replenish it. My wife got a apple and it was bad. The hotel has a sign that it doesn't accept pets but we listened to a dog bark all night from a room above us.
I always stay at the Best Western due to great staff and clean rooms along with quite stay. I feel safe with the surroundings and can have my vehicle close to me with the outside door construction of the hotel.
Beg bug and bad staff. Noisey room, Door open to the outside. No parking when you get back to your room. once you make check in you can't get your money back. and they have bed bugs and won't give refund.
I hope that management shares these reviews with staff. Your people make the difference. Desk person was great. Unfortunately I don't remember her name but I know she is a p.e. teacher as well as a 10 year employee of best western. She was great. Super friendly! Also have to say housekeeping keeps the place clean At one point I saw an older woman on her hands and knees scrubbing the bathroom floor. Very well adapting to Covid 19 times. BW take care of your people because they are representing you very well. Great job ladies!!
We stayed 1 night on our cross country road trip. There was a bug (thankfully dead) in the bathroom. The pool was closed but still full of green water. This was by far the worst best western we've ever stayed in, but it was a place to rest.
Everything was alright. Staff was very friendly and professional . Room was a little out dated but bed bug free. Breakfast was pretty awful. And I feel like I overpaid. Check in and out was easy and fast.
Love to travel with my job. I always stay at BW when possible. They are always convenient, clean and great value. I always tell my friends and teammates to stay at BW if they can. The reward system is wonderful, and the front desk can look up my reward points . BW Plus is fabulous.
Quality hotel. Good value for the money. Clean, quiet, up to date rooms. Next door to a restaurant that serves the best blackened salmon on Earth. Convenient, on Arkansas 7 one block south of Interstate 40 but not at all noisy. I've stayed there before and will stay there again.
My stay away from home is always an issue with bad hotels that do not clean and smell bad. The Best Western at Russellville AR is not that way and has a pleasant experience with my stay every time. I look for no other place to stay.
#8 of 8 of Hotel/motel on our 2019 road trip. We just needed an inexpensive place to spend the night on our way back to Tulsa. Convenient to I-40, clean, good breakfast. We met the owners checking in, an older couple, seemed like a Ma & Pa operation who take pride in doing the best with what they have. I rated this a "5" in the sense of comparing to other similar motels we have stayed at. Most first floor lower tier motel room, (in my experience) always seem to have a musty smell to them. Not this one. I would stay here again if circumstances called for a stop in Russellville, AR, Less the part where I left my personal pillow in the room.
Rooms were old but clean. Very close to the highway. Breakfast was adequate--but no peanut butter, yogurt, and a lot of toppings for oatmeal and waffles were empty. They have no smoking rooms available.
I booked a room at this motel through Priceline on a spur of the moment trip. It was a good location and a good price so I jumped on it. How bad could it be? The power was out when I checked in at 4 p.m. (Not their fault, and it came back on while I was standing there.), so they could not check my reservation. They never checked my ID which had never happened at a check-in in my experience. The room wasn't horrible. Typical Best Western room that had not been updated in years. It was clean but the bed was horribly uncomfortable. However, I never had hot water the entire stay. Apparently, several rooms around mine did not have hot water. When staying in Russellville again, I will pay a little more for another hotel in the area.
This motel is conveniently located to main roadways and several dining options. The room was clean with good internet connection. For me the bed was not so comfortable (I have a bad back). The room rate was reasonable and my AARP discount helped.
Came to Russellville for a high school fishing tournament. Reserved room 2 1/2 weeks in advance only to find out once we arrive they gave our room away. They stated it was because we did not put a credit card down- which they did not ask for. They did have a room, an inside room. Remind you we are here for a fishing tournament so we have our bass boat. This hotel was chosen because they have boat hookups. Never have we seen boat hookups that you had to drop your boat in a parking place and park your truck in another. Horrible experience and will not come back
Booked our room in advance and check in was quick even though lady never even checked my ID which everyone always does. Unloaded my kids and baggage, went to room and opened door only to find someone else already occupying the room. I was very shocked and embarrassed. Walked back down to desk to tell them someone was in the room and they seemed surprised but not terribly apologetic. Stood there for not sure how long while the elderly couple in charge tried to find us a room. Never was given an explanation on what happened but no rooms were available for us even though I had reserved a room online. We have stayed here once before with no issues. We were offered a smoking room but we are not smokers and that is not an option for us. Lady at front desk was on phone with owner and we were told that this owner also owns 2 other hotels in Russellville one being the Fairfield Inn and we were told to go there and they would have a room for us. I was grateful to have a room to go to but we were charged the Fairfield price and not the Best Western price. I was not in the mood to argue but neither hotel will get our business again.
I've been told they don't want to employee people who need a second chance. Not fair. Wonder if any of owners or management have ever needed a second chance? More than likely because most of us have. Guess they haven't.
When you decide to have breakfast at Best Western you expect that they have all the spices and condiments For said buffet. Nope, not this one! The guy at the front desk just laughed when I asked him where this and that was. "If it's not there were out he says". Someone obviously isn't staying on the ball. OM&M operations, management, in maintenance are all things that need to be kept up with at all times. And they were someone's beard shavings In my sink when I first checked into my room. Like I said someone's not keeping their eye on the ball.
This place is one of the worst hotels I stayed at! The first room. Room 152, had a broken deadbolt lock, hardly working a/c unit and carpet floors your feet stick to and an undersized toilet. Rick at the front desk moved me to 155. It is 3am and the air conditioner wont cool the room. The knobs are also broken on it. Just found that out. The carpet is sticky and have to wear shoes to walk aroud. The toilet is made for a very small person, so good luck doing your bisiness. After driving 1,200 miles. I am too tired to move to another room considering I have to be up on a couple hours to drive. The front desk person is no help at all. I will talk to Corporate and file a complaint when that department gets there in the morming. I expected better being a Diamond Select member with Best Western.
This hotel is a little dated but a great place to stay. The rooms are always clean and comfortable the check in and they check out are always easy. The staff is always helpful if anything is needed. Aa
Room is clean but old. Door lock did not work. Noisy during the day.Pool is next door in a parking lot. Managers and staff were not very helpful or friendly, confused about reservations. It is in a very convenient location close to highway, College, and restaurants.
Room was comfortable. Property is showing its age and needs an update. Staff was friendly and courteous. Complimentary breakfast was adequate but I have had bettter. Would recommend this for an overnight stay bu not for an extended stay.
When we arrived, the room I was given was about 90 degrees inside and after a few tries, we finally got a room with AC. The next morning I advised them about the tub drain that needed unstopped. When we arrived back after being gone for 10 hours, the tub was still running very slow, and housekeeping had not done anything in the room.
We were passing through on our way to Florida and we just needed a quiet place to stay - well at about 11pm the people next door start yelling and we politely asked them to stop. They kind of went uhhh we just got here like that doesn't mean you need to yell! Then for another hour door slams proceed. So if you want to not sleep stay here. Also when we went to breakfast the chocolate chips were all gone at 7 am- like they hadn't even stocked them that morning. And the biscuits were freezer burnt. All in all a disappointing breakfast.
Service and room excellent. Food hot and ready at 6. Offered and polite. Recommend places to eat. Room was very clean and quiet. On 1st floor. Was able to park vehicle right outside of room. Will stay here again.
Wonderful breakfast - many hot & cold options. Older motel, so rooms open to outside, but we were able to park our car right by the room for very easy unloading & loading. Very close to some good restaurants, very close to the main highway (I-40). We will stay here again.
It was a well maintained an cleaned, the updated rooms were fancy like the the real expensive hotels. The bed was the most amazing, so comfortable an relaxing. That made it hard for me two leave. Friendly staff as well
I stayed here while on a business trip. For the money it's not a bad place to stay. It is a bit dated, but the rooms are always clean and everything works. If your just looking for a good night of sleep this is good.
I love this hotel. It has the best breakfast of any hotel that I have stayed in within the last few weeks. The staff is wonderful..I would recommend this hotel to any driver who wants all the comfort of home and its amenities while simultaneously feeling that you are still taken care of any business that you are doing.
This is a great stop for me. It is convenient for me to stop here. I have never stayed for breakfast, but the rooms are always clean and check in is easy. It is also close to some great places to eat.
Overall my experience was fine. My only complaint was the comfort of the furniture, bed, chairs, etc. Bed was hard as was the chairs. Pillows were way to soft. Other than that the room was clean. Breakfast was good. Check out /in process was good.
When you ask for a ground floor room and you get a second-story room placed above all of the handicap parking where you can't see or park your motorcycle, this is a problem. I was put into room 230 which had a problem with the air conditioning which never seemed to go above low speed and seemed to keep the room cool after running all night long. The continental breakfast was just awesome, I really loved how hot it was in that room. It was almost as hot in there as it was in my room half the night.
As far as the hotel, a little older, but was clean. Breakfast is ok, all other employees seemed to be fine. I'm a diamond elite member and have at Best Westerns throughout the South. I will never stay here again, Shirley the manager is rude, if you have a problem she will get to when she can and usually you will have to call back at least once. The hotel is fine, I will not be back
Finished an 800 mile drive from SC and the room was very comfortable. Would stay again in the future. The room offered a nice table and chairs to eat dinner. Very nice feature. Very convenient to I 40.
The staff was excellent. The room was neat and clean with a comfortable bed. The location was convienient from the interstate. I highly recommend this Best Western if you need a hotel in the Russellville, AR area.
My experience at this property was absolutely excellent from start to finish. The staff at check in were very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and quiet. Breakfast was huge with a wide selection of choices. And checkout was a breeze. Also, the location is right on AR 7, convenient to many of the great scenic roads. Add in the great room rate and can't say enough good things about this hotel. Highly recommended!!!
excellent parking, breakfast, and gorgeous bed for sleeping. i would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs an excellent night of rest after a long day on the road. I plan on staying at this hotel every chance I get when I am in the area.
We don't have that many Best Westerns in the East but out West we look for them. We've never had a bad experience with them. This is again a great choice. Holiday weekend and we didn't have reservations because our vaca was cut short because of the tropical disterbance in the gulf that will effect us at our home. We got a great rate and love the room. There was also a restaurant next door that we walked to.
Stayed here on a Saturday night:) Heard nothing from other guests throughout the night:) We sleep well often by how other adults act who are also quests of the property:) Price was fair$72:) Room was CLEAN, good job housekeeping and management:) Never felt cramped in room, everything two people could want for a short stay:) Yes, it is an older hotel, yet, they do a good job keeping it up. Breakfast is much like any other Western hotel stay. Is it IHOP quality, no, but if your looking for that, go pay and get it?? They have just about everything you could want for a breakfast on a run and go and of fair quality:) Plenty of hot morning shower water:) Felt safe and employees were hospitable:)
The staff was very friendly and we had an easy check in. The room was clean but needs updating. The heater made so much noise we left it off all night. We were in town the end of April so we were ok with it turned off. The table lamp next to me would not come on. We had room 211 which is at the top of the stairs so it was a bit noisy when other guest were checking out. The hotel is close enough to restaurants to walk which makes it nice, and two filling stations across the street.
We have stayed here many times I have never experienced anything like this before. I forgot my blood pressure machine. I called as soon as I thought of it 1:30p.m. the day we checked out. I asked if the could go to room 112 look under the sink and get my kit. I was told that when a housekeeper came by the would ask if they found it. I left my number, but never got a call back. After 4 calls I asked my daughter who lives in Russellville to go see if they had found it. Didn't get any results, so she drove around to room 112 the man and woman was outside. She explained what had happed they went in and looked under the sink and brought it back to my daughter. This should never have happened. I really appreciate the nice people in that room , But will probably be using another place next time. We have always liked staying when Ms. Dicey worked there she was very helpful. The ones working Sat. afternoon April 6 and Sun. April 7 that I talked to on the phone was not. Sincerely B. F.
Everything I have come to expect from Best Western, especially pleased with the personable owners! I expect cleanliness and this Best Western certainly lived up to my expectations. So nice knowing we will have a wonderful breakfast to start the next day.
Will stay again, nice friendly staff. Courteous and helpful. Right off the interstate, easy access off and back on. Like I said I will stay at this location again, as I do travel quite a bit. Thank you
It's a typical hotel with a breezeway, which means stuffy rooms, noisy A/C and people walking back and forth outside your room. The whole floor shakes when people walk around in the adjacent rooms. That being said, the room was clean and the beds were comfortable, staff were friendly and breakfast was ok.
I like the Best Western chain and the reason I stayed in this hotel was because there was no answer at the America's Best Value Inn (nextdoor) when I rang the night service doorbell 2X's. The Arkansas Tech nursing student behind the counter was very polite, very capable, and smart. The room, however, was very tired looking: the color palette was yellow and browns (ick), the carpeting was well worn and dirty looking, the mirror frame over the sink was coming apart, and the shower stall looked like something out of the '80's. There was a metal post outside which supports the upper deck of rooms that had been bent by a car or truck. The comp breakfast had canned fruit cocktail instead of fresh fruit, malted waffles + waffle maker, juices, coffee, tea, dried looking scrambled eggs, cereals, and the ubiquitous overly sweet pastries. The hotel is located off of I40 and is down the street from Arkansas Tech. The hotel area for this exit in Russellville is visually chaotic with all of the neon and lighted signs for the hotels and businesses that are on top of one another. Only positive I can give this hotel is that I slept well even though the bed coverings did not keep me warm.
This was a nice hotel for an overnighter. Room very nice and clean. The location so easy to find from the interstate and priced reasonable. Wonderful restaurant is right next door. The staff is wonderful.
Very comfortable, clean easy to checkin and out. I have to use more characters so I will keep typing for awhile. I have to us another 77. Who has this much to say, it was good isn't that enough said.!!
I have stayed here several times and the staff have been very friendly and accommodating each time. Decent rooms, decent amenities, comfortable beds and decent complementary breakfast. It's not difficult to get a boat in and out of the parking lots and there are external electrical outlets for recharging batteries. The hotel is located at an intersection that is a little difficult to navigate. But, other than that, it's a fine hotel for a fair price with good dining options close-by.
Older hotel good for a quick stop. Bathroom was very small. Bed was hard like a rock. There are 3 gas station very close. Also plenty of restaurants. Coltons, Dixie old cafe, waffle house and Ruby Tuesday pretty selection among fast food.
Spent the night in a clean room in a quite location. The front desk clerks were really nice and welcoming. The room was nicely decorated and nothing jumped out as negative. I noticed when I hocked my phone up that the cord for the lamp had wires that were no longer covered by the at the plug by the outer cord. Could be a shock hazard and will become one if not fixed. I worst thing about the room was the bed. That mattress needs to be removed and burnt. You could feel the springs I think I counted all on my side of the bed. After finally falling asleep we woke up wishing we had slept on the floor. Maybe other rooms are better but I used AARP discount and saved some but for $80 a night I want a nicer mattress.
Checkin and checkout clerk were friendly. Do not expect a good breakfast. Food was cold and selection was poor. Per an electronic message I received I thought I was receiving a free night stat with Best Western Rewards. After I checked in and got settled in my room the desk clerk called and informed me I would be paying the full amount for the room. I was disappointed in the outcome.
Great Place to bed down for a night or longer..Great breakfast, very comfortable beds..We always stay at a Best Western if there is one in the town we at..Very clean and quiet to see at..Large Flat screen TV's to watch. Clean bathrooms with soap and shampoo if needed..
This motel is comfortable and quite. Accept for the tv going off while we were watching it,We did not have any problems. It was very clean. They even have a man that cleans the breakfast tables after people leave. The bed was very comfortable. We could not hear the interstate from our room.
Hotel is badly in need of updating. Staff was friendly, but few as there are few guests staying there these days. You can do a lot better for about the same price at other hotels in the area. It's adequate if you're just looking for a safe place to spend the night, but for the price, I'd expect a lot more.
Conveniently located. Fair price. Restaurants in walking distance. Pool and spa. Breakfast. All pluses. We stay there and travel up pig trail for the day and then back to hotel. Or to Mount Magazine for the day. Good home base for taking day trips in the area
The main issue was the desk clerk at check in. He did not want to do anything said someone else would take care of everything later when we were trying to use a reward voucher to pay for our stay. We checked in and went to our room and were not impressed with the dates room or the service. So we decided to check out and go to a way nicer hotel around the corner for only 8 more dollars a night. Luckily we checked out because when I came back the next morning to speak to someone about the vouchers and being billed for the room on my card they said the night clerk should have taken care of this because if not it could not be put on later so I was going to be billed on my card. Luckily she straightened this out and did not charge my card or take the voucher money. I thank the morning staff for straightening this issue out for me and want to say she was extremely nice and helpful.
Great place to use as home base as you ride the Ozarks. Very motorcycle friendly. They offered buckets, hose and rags for the bikes daily. Plenty of gas and restaurants in the area. Great rides for a 100 miles in any direction. Russellville is in a dry county, so you need to plan ahead.
It was a enjoyable stay. Clean and friendly staff and rooms. would stay there again. Beds were comfortable. After long day of riding, pulled in and had rooms available. Restaurant next door is good. Breakfast was good.
Old tired hotel with outside entrances, Jacuzzi tubs in rooms that have been disconnected and disabled, bed has trench in it on phone side. Fox News plays in breakfast room and you can't change the channel.
Very good staff the room was clean I really enjoyed my experience restaurant right next-door convenient very convenient I would stay there again it was a business trip I drive a truck for Bluebell Cramer's and we stay there when we go to Memphis and come back to broken arrow enjoyed it very much. There again thank you
This BW hotel is very nice. Doors are on the outside not through the lobby which I normally don't like but it worked out well for us. This county is dry (not the hotel's fault) just make sure you know that when booking. Everything is nice and clean. Breakfast is really good and the BW Reward program is good.
Great place to stay if your in the area. It's close to several restaurants and right off the freeway. The staff are always very friendly and happy to help. I travel through the area several times a year and always stop here.
From wet floors to finding a man already in the bed to itchy bug bites...get the picture. The night clerk was very helpful as we tried to work out the problem and it wasn't his fault that no one noted the room should have been out of order or that someone failed to show the man in the bed had checked in, just gave him a key. Not sure what the insects were, just know the bites itch.
It was a very spacious room and I loved the bed it was like sleeping at home. Only stayed 1 night but a very good experience. Everything was clean and had plenty of towels and even a coffee machine in the room.
Helpful staff. Gave great directions and was so nice and friendly. Room was good. Easy on and off access to the highway. Breakfast was good. Good choices and variety. The pillows were excellent! Best pillows and bed ever!
Every one was very helpful with giving directions from were to get food to the closest dollar store to pick up things for a funeral. I would definitely recommend it to anyone that needs to stay in that area. And if I have to stay again I would.
My wife and I were traveling to Oklahoma for my sister's funeral. We stopped in North Little Rock and found out from the visitors center that the best place for us to stop overnight was in Russellville. We had a good experience, slept well, and had a good breakfast at your Best Western. It was such a good experience, we chose to stay in the Best Western when we reached our destination in Oklahoma.
Area and rooms were clean and welcoming. Staff was friendly and helpful. Restaurant next store was excellent. Breakfast was one of the best we have had at a hotel. If we are ever in Russellville, we will be back!
Rooms are very clean and well maintained, breakfast was great! Hotel staff very friendly and caring. I stay here when i am in the area and wish all hotels were this nice for the price. It has been recently remodeled and beds and furnishings are new.
Checking in was fine. As a diamond member of BW I expect to be offered an upgrade or provided with water and snacks. I was disappointed. The room was fine although the tv stand was broken so the tv leaned to the left. Tv itself worked fine with a good selection if channels. The tub had jacuzzi jets that did not seem to work and the heat lamp also failed to work. I reported the tv issue and the heat lamp issue to the office. I was offered another room but declined. Suggested both be repaired after we checked out. The room is sparse, king bed a square table two chairs, no desk or desk chair. Outlets in both lamps for chargers. Breakfast was good, better than some other BW's we stayed in. Make your own waffles, 3 cereals, one without sugar, bagels, muffins and bread. Toaster did not toast my bagel. No alternative milk like soy or almond as we had in Texas Best Westerns. We used our own. I would stay here again, hopefully some sprucing up and some minor repairs would make this an "A" rated hotel. This property has to compete with Days Inn, Hampton Inn and Fairfield so they should make that effort.
I had to stay in Russellville Best Western multiple nights and several times over the past few months. Right off the Highway, this Hotel is recently remodeled, clean, spacious rooms. Very friendly staff and a great selection for free breakfast in the morning.
My motorcycle club spent the weekend of 10/28-10/30 in Russellville exploring the area. Best Western was a perfect base camp. It's right on Hwy 7 and just a block from I-40. There are great restaurants and convenience stores within walking distance. The staff was helpful and the rooms spacious and clean,
the BW is not bad for what it is nice, clean, but a little expensive and always terrible parking from all the boats in the parking lot and people taking up multiple spaces. I usually am traveling alone on this trip and try to stay in Forrest city and save 35$ but depending on what you like this is close to a steak house and waffle house with 2 gas stations close by and easy access to I-40
After checking with trip advisor we decided to give this hotel a try on our way back home. yes, it is dated but over all it was well worth the money and in a great location close to the interstate. The only complaint I would mention is that our bathroom had one of the big huge tubs with the jets and it was kind of hard to get into and I don't think I would bathe in it. They need to take the time and money to remodel the bathrooms.
This is an older hotel and you can tell in the appearance. The check in staff were very nice and professional. The entry doors are entered from the outside, so not as secure as other hotels that require room keys to enter the hallways. They do have micro fridge and microwave. The location is convenient to I-40 and there are restaurants in the vicinity.
Stayed here based on reviews, but the room we stayed in needed some work. The latch bar on the door was literally coming off (all the screws were popping out), and there were some spots in the bathroom that needed some attention. The bed and pillows were pretty awful. And there was definitely some questionable clientele. A kid in the room next to us, kept opening their door a crack and peeking at us while we were unloading, and there was a large group of questionable looking construction workers just down from us. This is honestly the only time I've every felt uncomfortable in a hotel before.
I really appreciated that for an older facility they have gone out of their way to keep things updated and very clean. Very satisfied. The staff was very professional. I needed a place to sleep during the days and it was very quiet and undisturbed.
This is a well run hotel with clean rooms, courteous helpful staff and a great breakfast. These employees care about the comfort of their guests and hotel. I stayed two nights and the employees were all friendly and helpful. I would definitely stay here again.
Not a fancy hotel for sure, but everything in the room worked. Cold air, hot shower, no plumbing issues. Could use new beds, but I slept fine. Staff was excellent. Breakfast was great. It was clean. Now I'm just adding words to make review longer since there's a minimum of 200 words.
A group of about 50 of us B'ers gathered for a rally and a few rides in the beautiful countryside of the Ozarks. The Best Western was chosen as our base location, and a better choice could not have been made. The hotel was clean, well-lit (to watch over the bikes) and the staff - especially Shirley - were outstanding. Will definitely stay here again in the next few months.
This hotel cares only about money. I made a reservation for a Saturday night, however early Saturday morning I went into labor and of course did not make my reservation. I also forgot to call and cancel my reservation due to being in labor all morning. The next day, Sunday my husband told me there was a charge on our card. Then I realized my mistake of not canceling. So I called the hotel immediately and explained what happened. The girl I talked to assured me the charge on my card was just a hold and they would not actually charge my card if I never showed up. A few days later I realized they did indeed charge my card. So I called back. I talked to two different ladies on the phone. Neither of them were sorry or helpful about my situation. I was very upset most of all with their attitude toward me. Like I was making up a story to get out of paying. I would have settled for "I'm sorry mam but this is our policy and unfortunately we are not allowed to make any exceptions, even for emergency." But they barely mumbled "I'm sorry" one of them didn't apologize at all! I will never go there and I would recommend if you make a reservation, don't have any kind of medical emergency and forget to cancel your hotel reservation!
Dycie was the front desk person at both check out and check in. She has the best customer service skills that I've seen in ages. Friendly, personable and efficient. Bed was amazing. We spoke of wanting to buy one like it. Room was immaculate. Highly recommend
The Hotel was clean, the staff friendly and professional. The internet could have been better, but it was able to let me do what I had to do. The facility was an easy off an on to the highway as well.
Everything about this motel was excellent. Great room, it was very clean and comfortable. Restaurants within walking distance. Very nice pool. We really enjoyed our stay. I would highly recommend this motel.
We can always count on Best Western for a clean room, good service and a multiple selection for breakfast. We try to find a Best Western when we travel and have often been disappointed when we have had to stay somewhere else. we recommend Best Western to all our friends and family.
Excellent experience talking and meeting the owners. Mr Shirley has found a great new career in the Hotel industry. All were extremely helpful and kind. This BW will always be on my list to stay not only from staff experience, but also the value and cleanliness inside and out.
The options were good for this motel with active outside pool and lovely looking property. I arrived at the breakfast bar around 8:30 AM, but they did not restock the breakfast bar once it was depleted.....get there early or choose another food product from the remaining. Our bed made the worst sound when laying upon it at first, but stopped when you stayed on it. We would recommend it due to the price, but if you wake after 9:00AM, plan to find your breakfast somewhere else. Other than that it was a pleasant stay.
The parking lot was a little small, we were pulling a trailer. we found a place to park with little trouble. rooms were nice and clean, bed was good, had a king room nice bath room. we will stay again if we go east.
The family drove 2/3 of the way across the country staying in hotels just one night to sleep and shower, so I can't comment on anything else the hotel has to offer. I picked hotels that were lower priced but had at least a 3 or 4 rating out of 5. We stayed at 8 different places and this hotel was average. I did not book in advance though I checked prices the day before. We were in a room in no time at the same price I saw yesterday. The A/C was on when we got to the room and it did not smell. They could have done better with cleaning. The corners and nooks and crannies were dusty and had cobwebs. The bathroom was small and had some damage. The room size was ok. It was an outside room entrance. I woke up with a sore back which does happen from time to time (the beds can't please everyone) They had a great selection of cold and hot food for breakfast unlike some others. I wouldn't avoid the hotel as I wasn't expecting more, but I wonder what others in town were like.
Nice Hotel and staff. Breakfast was the best part of our stay, especially since the staff went out of the way to prepare it earlier than normal for our group. The location is ideal with several restaurants within walking distance.
The desk clerk had everything together, and had us in our room in two minutes. Very friendly and considerate, too. Although Cracker Barrel is a short walk away, you should consider driving the short drive downtown to eat at Stoby's or have coffee at Penny University Coffee or Midtown Coffee.
I have stayed at this Best Western numerous times and have always had a good experience. The staff is helpful and friendly and the rooms clean. The mattresses are recently installed and very comfortable. Wireless works well and the property is close to a variety of restaurants. Will definitely stay again.
Extremely clean rooms, friendly staff, excellent breakfast, and wonderful customer service. Rented two rooms for my family and enjoyed the stay very much. Amazing how many necessities were neatly arranged in each room. Would definitely recommend this and if the need to travel comes again will book my stay here.
We just bought a bike at a local dealer in the area and need to spend the night before our trip home the parking lot was nice and bright kept a good eye on the bike. The room was clean the bathroom was clean as well. Slept very good, went to check out had breakfast which was not that great they had potatoes which was cold, eggs sausage but everything was not good. Don't get me wrong I ate lol. All in all a great place to stay safe and clean.
This is our second night in a BW on this road trip (first night we stayed in Tennessee) because my husband is a fan ( and we are a member of the ride rewards program). I am used to Marriot and Hilton but I am quickly falling in love with best western. This is in a great location. Right off the interstate. Lots of restaurants down the street and a couple within walking distance (Colton's steakhouse and the Dixie cafe--the friendly front desk clerk recommended Coltons to another guest in front of me. Unfortunately, we had already eaten elsewhere but that is another review!) Because we were in a truck towing a 15 foot trailer, my husband wanted a room overlooking our vehicle. She happily obliged. We received the corner room in the second floor and it was perfect. Well lit parking lot and a truck parking lot with plenty of room. There were 2 semi trucks parked there when we arrived and room for more. It was also well lit parking area. This is a motel style establishment so we were happy to be near our vehicle since we were towing a motorcycle we had just purchased. There were other bikers here so hubby felt comfortable leaving bike outside overnight. Seemed to be a good area ( we got recommendation from the bike dealer as well) King bed was good--a little firm for my taste but we had a good night sleep so I can't complain. Bathroom was good. Sink and small counter space outside of the tub/shower area. Most importantly, it appeared CLEAN!!!! It even had the remote in a bag that said it was sanitized. That was a nice touch. Breakfast was just ok. They did have a make your own waffle station (I didn't try this) along with watery eggs, sausage (I didn't like), and bland potatoes. I didn't like what I tried so I ate oatmeal instead. It was not the best free breakfast I have ever had. But it was free so I can't complain too much. Front desk clerk was really nice and friendly and I wish I could remember her name--Amanda/Audrey or something with an A. Overall, this is a very good motel and we would definitely stay here again. The only reason it is not 5 star rating is due to the breakfast and I love my breakfast!
Our motorcycle group of 12 bikes recently made our annual trip to Arkansas to ride the beautiful and motorcycle friendly roads of the Ozarks. We spent 2 nights here as our base. I can't say enough good things about this hotel. The are certainly motorcycle friendly, rooms were well appointed and clean. The front staff was very friendly and attentive to our needs. Fresh cookies before bedtime in the lobby and a great hot breakfast each morning. Will definitely stay here in the future!
I booked my room through the 1-800 Best Western number and used my points. When I checked in, I told the front desk that I was using points and she made a copy of my rewards card. When I checked out she charged my personal credit card that they had on file. They could not process a credit until a manager came in after the weekend. They said they had no record of it being a rewards reservation. I will have to wait days for the credit to show up. Just glad I saw the charges to my card before I left the state. I also used a free night with Hotels.Com in conjunction with this stay and they did the same thing--Charged to my personal credit card. BEWARE of this motel. There are plenty of other motels in the same area.
We were in town for the RussVegas Half Marathon, and enjoyed our stay at this hotel. My friend, who was doing the race with me, slept well, which is not always the case, so bonus on that! The ladies at the front desk were able to point us to a restaurant with outdoor seating and a view of the water. And we got a beautiful view of the sunset, so kudos on that! I would like to remark on how beautifully the housekeeping was done. Nice attention to detail, and a lot of special touches. Great race day breakfast, too! My only minimal complaint was that the Wi-Fi was spotty in my room, at the far reaches of the hotel. No big deal. I would definitely stay here again.
Some people do not like to stay at motels but I kinda like having my car right outside my door for easy access. This was a very safe environment. Parking lot was full but still plenty of parking. Right next to Colton's Steak house and within walking distance of other eating places. They are upgrading the rooms and beds. Sorry to say we did not get an upgraded bed, it was not that great. The room was clean. The towels were hardly big enough to dry a grown man's butt, but they were better than the Day's Inn that are dried a 5000 degrees and are rough and scratchy. The greeting staff was great! Very helpful with directions to Ark Tech university(only 3 blocks away). We would stay here again and hope all the beds have been upgraded.
If you are coming to this area for a fishing trip the hotel is built to accommodate boats. There are outlets by every room. The parking can be tight but the front desk clerk offered to move me to the easiest spot to have a boat at the hotel. Rooms are clean and bed is comfortable. Walking distance to several places to eat.
We stayed here one night on our way from Tennessee to Oklahoma. We were able to park our car right outside the room. The room was clean and spacious. The bed had plenty of pillows. The complimentary breakfast was outstanding: fresh fruit, waffles, scrambled eggs, biscuits and gravy; and very good coffee. Checkout was fast and easy. Unfortunately, I left my wedding band on the bathroom sink and was an hour down the road before noticing. I called and they quickly went down to the room. It had fallen off the sink and was on the floor in a corner. They crawled all over the floor and found it and immediately called me back. We turned around and they had it safely secured behind the front desk. Oh, and there were lots of restaurants within walking distance from the hotel for dinner. Definitely would stay here again (only not to leave anything behind).
The motel is of older version, but all was in excellent condition. The bed was very comfortable and all room items were in good shape. The staff was very pleasant and helpful. I would stay here again.
The staff at the BW (Russellville, Arkansas) was phenomenal. They were very courteous, and showed genuine concern for the wishes/desires of their guests. I couldn't have asked for a better hotel experience. I am very much impressed with BW's employees, the cleanliness of the rooms, and (of course) the "free" breakfast!
This was a decent hotel conveniently located off I-40. Hotel room was very basic. Clean and comfortable. The staff was very nice. Restaurants and convenience store right next door for easy walking. Overall it was a good deal for the price in my opinion.
We have found THE hotel for us!! As soon as we entered the lobby Keaton greeted us with a smile. He was so helpful in making sure we were able to use the three $25.00 coupons we had for our stay. It was kind of difficult figuring out exactly how to do it but he kept at it till he was successful! He was so polite. The hotel lobby and breakfast room were tastefully furnished as was our room. Our room was big, clean and comfortable. The beds were very comfortable also. The next morning at breakfast the lady that was keeping things clean was very nice and helpful. I had to get up from my breakfast for a few minutes and it got cool so she offered to microwave it for me. Unfortunately there is not a microwave in the breakfast room. There is a full hot breakfast - scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles and of course coffee. There is also oatmeal you can make, pastries, yogurt, fresh fruit and cereals. You would pay $10.00 for such a breakfast at a restaurant. This is definitely our go to place when we are staying in Russellville.
Enjoyed 5 night stay on business trip. The rooms were nice and the staff very courteous. The breakfast was good and breakfast room always clean. The hotel was conveniently located close to restaurants and the highway. I would definitely stay again.
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay at the Best Western in Russellville. Older hotel but completely remodeled, clean rooms, good hot breakfast. Wendy at the front desk was very nice and was able to answer our questions about the city and where to eat. Great value. Would definitely stay here again.
Very clean rooms, well maintained property. Friendly, helpful staff. A good hot breakfast to start your day. The owners have done a fantastic job with the remodeling of this property. Nice restaurants close by. Ask for the list.
We went to Russellville AR to pick up our new trike at Russellville Honda, and the best western was very convenient for us stay, the motel is an older motel but nice, the rooms were newly painted and looked nice. they have a large breakfast area and several breakfast items all was good. Good stay
This hotel is a nice place to stay. We love the convenience of the location and ease of access while traveling on highway 40 to Oklahoma. We will definitely being staying here again as we travel this route at least once per year sometimes more.
Well located property. Hotel is older, I'd guess 70's but upgrades are well done and room is comfortable and modern. Bed was comfy price very good. BW always has good breakfasts with protein items so that was nice. Great place come visit!
The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the breakfast was better than most. I can recommend the room itself. But I made the reservation over two months so I could get a bottom floor. When we got to the motel we were told we could not have a bottom floor room. Why make a reservation if you cannot get what you ask for? I have stayed at several Best Western Motels before and I have always got what I asked for when I made reservations well in advance. Because of the callous attitude of the staff I probably will not stay at this Best Western again.
Made reservations 2 months in advance. Requested ground floor room due to wife's disability. When we arrived we were told that ground floor rooms were a first come basis. Desk clerk was arrogant, and didn't seem concerned with wifes disability. Will never stay at best western again. Do not have this problem with any Wyndham Motels
If staying in this town, get a reservation!!!!!!. All hotels full. This was recommended by one of the others. Outside entrance, two floors. Rooms updated but still 1950's motel. Let's just say we should have drove on to Conway to a Marriot hotel. Could not get TV to stay on. Looked for quarter slot! Could not get window air to stay on either. Cheap rate but you get what you pay for. Front desk young man friendly.
this hotel was very good however the beds are hard as a board!! didn't get alot of sleep. it is however in a great location next to several good eating places. easy to get to off the hi-way. the front desk clerk was very friendly.
First room door wouldn't latch, had to move. Hotel provided hair dryer tripped the breaker. Breakfast was low quality. There was a slight smoke odor in non-smoking room. Pillows were also of low quality.
no resv. made just need a room for the night. Tried several other places first no luck, this was recommended by one of the others. Newly renovated so very clean but is an all rooms outside access only
I had a great room which was very clean, nearly new furnishings, with a well maintained exterior. The motel was well located with several nearby restaurants. The staff was very helpful and friendly. I made a reservation without a credit card. I was with friends on a motorcycle trip and the motel advertises Motorcycle Friendly. A great place where all the rooms were filled and I never heard another guest. Highly recommend this place.
We have stayed at this motel once a year for an annual motorcycle rally held by our club. It is a real nice place for the price. The rooms are spacious & the beds are very comfortable. It is nice & quiet as well. The staff is very pleasant.
No complaints, the room was clean and quiet. We were pleasantly surprised to get a room with a king and queen sized bed. We were here as a family and had the pool to ourselves. The only negative thing was that it is located in a dry county.
I can't believe how much they charged a night for this room. When I pulled up here, if I hadn't been so tired and already paid for this room, I would have drove on. Luckily the room wasn't quite as bad as the outside looked. The bed was horrible and in desperate need of an update. I checked out around 1 a.m. because I drive for a living and had to get back on the road. To check out, I had to stand outside behind bullet proof glass and ring a buzzer for assistance with checking out. Will not go back!
They are putting a layer of rock over the walkways resulting in sticky areas you have to step over. Also they started working at 6:30 in the morning waking us up with hammering. May want to wait awhile before you stay there. Front desk was helpful when we arrived. Breakfast was a little better than normal for this type hotel.
