Best Western Plus Rumford Falls

The very first thing my wife said as we entered the room and did a quick look around was “ this is the cleanest hotel we've ever been in.” That pretty much says it all. From start to finish everything was really good. Room, facilities, pool, breakfast, staff…. All good ! A good selection of meals close by within 4 to 8 minutes drive. Recommend Swift River suites and restaurant as well the The Lure Pub. Coupled with a ten minute drive to Black Mountain, it was a perfect place to stay.

We chose the Best Western Plus Rumford Falls due to the its proximity to multiple ski mountains, mainly to make a day trip to Saddleback, which is a little over an hour away. We were very pleased with the condition of the hotel and the care and friendliness of the staff at front desk and at breakfast. Booked a suite with 2 queen beds and a pullout sofa for our family of 4. It was very spacious! If you are sensitive to noise, you may want to request to stay on the third floor. Our room was second floor at the front of the building, directly above the lobby, and you could hear the lobby's music. It was very quiet and mellow and didn't bother us, but it was there. I witnessed two different people have issues with their reservation. I don't know if they used a third-party booking site or what. The staff seemed to take great care to resolve the issues. I booked on the Best Western website and had no problem at all. We will definitely return to the Best Western when we're back in the area.

The hotel staff demonstrated exceptional service, particularly the front desk associate who adeptly accommodated our group's last-minute reservation. Our party included a wheelchair user and canine companions, and the associate efficiently secured suitable rooms that met our specific needs. We were especially grateful when the staff promptly laundered a forgotten bed cover and arranged for its pickup by a local friend. The pool was a highlight, and the rooms were consistently clean and comfortable. We highly recommend this hotel and plan to return for future stays.

After a week on a backroads road trip, this hotel was a pleasant surprise! From the time we entered the hotel with the happy and competent desk clerk, to the room, it was excellent. The room was very spacious and well appointed, clean and quiet. Breakfast was the best we'd had all week, especially the cinnamon rolls and good coffee, and very cheerful attendant. All the staff was excellent! Great stay!

The Best Western Plus in Rumford is an EXCELLENT place to stay and I have stayed at many high end hotels to compare it to. My husband and I just stayed a week here. Location is also convenient. The manager here and her staff could not be nicer and more accommodating. The hotel is very clean. The beds and pillows are also very comfortable. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is delicious! They rotate different items every day, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, bagels, muffins, waffles. There is something for everyone here. The hotel also gets a lot of cable tv stations, much more than a lot of hotels. We cannot wait to come back and stay here again!!

We were completely satisfied with the Best Western Rumford Falls! This is a sparkling clean, modern hotel, with everything you need. It is not a luxury hotel, but the rooms are large and well appointed. The beds are very comfortable, we were given a variety of pillows, our room was quiet and dark at night, and everything worked perfectly. The breakfast options were varied, and the staff was warm and professional. We would stay here again in a heartbeat.

Nice location for skiing Sugarloaf and Sunday River. The breakfast was good for skiers! A Hot Tub was the only thing missing after our days of skiing! The Suites were very spacious and the bathroom was large as well! We enjoyed walking 1/2 mile to dinner at The Brick and Stone Tavern.

Very quiet and clean. We really enjoyed our stay. The staff was nice and the breakfast was good for those on the go or wanting to fill up. The trees were beautiful! They upgraded our room and gave us some snacks, too. This was my best experience at a Best Western. Thank you!

What a wonderful place to stay in Rumford Falls!! The community fathers came together to build a nice hotel for people to visit Rumford and they succeeded admirably with this Best Western Plus. When we visited, this hotel was just a little over 3 years old. Our check in was very smooth and efficient. The two ladies who assisted us were thorough and warmly welcoming. We had one of the 2 queen Suites on the top floor (6th floor). It was a very spacious room with 2 queen beds and a separate seating area with couch and another TV. There was also a mini-refrigerator in the room which we used quite a bit. The bathroom was (as expected) clean and modern and well-maintained. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. We had an issue with the door to our room, which would not close and lock when we left the room, and the lady at the front desk was able to move us with no trouble at all to the 2 queen suite immediately across the hall. We ate breakfast both mornings at the complimentary breakfast area. There are some cereals and some hot choices and some pastries as well. The attendant in the breakfast area was very helpful as well. I can enthusiastically recommend the Best Western Plus Rumford Falls and if I ever return to the area, will look forward to staying there again.

Clean room, comfortable bed and room with perfect temperature. Nice breakfast. The lady helping with breakfast was super kind and kept breakfast area and tables clean. The desk workers were also very nice and helpful. They have snacks and water/drinks for sale

Fairly standard hotel experience, clean and new. The people were friendly and helpful, especially Gail & Angel at the front desk and Pam at breakfast. The ceilings are high but you can still hear the people walking in the room above. Also, for being so new I was surprised at the shallow steps in the stairwell- careful walking down! The pool is a little small, my family of five was more than enough for the space. It was sufficient for our family's visit to the area- we appreciated that breakfast was included and the 24/7 tea & coffee bar was great. Also there were laundry facilities at a much better price than the nearby laundromat. All-in-all I would recommend it.

This was a great stay, very clean, spacious rooms, comfy beds (though we did need a comforter to pad the sofa bed). We were very Road weary and had a nightmare stay in another hotel which was old, dirty and very outdated so this place was a pearl! We also were happy to find a Church within a few minutes of the hotel to celebrate Sunday Mass. The breakfast options were very nice but what stood out was the excellent service the sweet lady offered, bustling around to make sure that everyone was taken care of. The desk clerks were very accommodating. If we are ever up this way again, I would definitely stay here.

Excellent room , feels new, very clean, lovely staff. Better than expected , thought it was going be bare minimum being so far out in the middle of Maine. Complete opposite. Good size room for our family of 5. Locals were friendly. Breakfast was better than expected

We very much enjoyed our stay. The hotel is beautifully decorated; the interior design is quite pleasing. Our room on the first floor made it easy for us to take our dog outside. The room was large and very comfortable. We very much appreciated the room darkening shades. The bathroom was very spacious and well stocked with towels and toiletries. The built-in nightlight was a welcomed addition. Breakfast featured a variety of hot and cold foods. The hotel's location is ideal; right across the road from Rumford Falls and the visitor information center. The part-time employee at the front desk (although she always seemed to be on duty!) and Pam in the breakfast area are exceptional employees; friendly, professional, helpful. We absolutely would recommend the Best Western Plus in Rumford to anyone visiting this beautiful part of Maine.

We were delighted to finally experience this much needed hotel in the Rumford/Mexico area. It really is a lovely facility with adequate parking, centrally located, a small pool, fitness center, and fire pit area. The staff could not be nicer. Every one was friendly and helpful. Very clean and inviting. Hot and cold breakfast options in a comfortable seating area. They had gluten free options which was such a surprise. We will definitely be back.

Good and helpful staff. Solid breakfast and very clean pool. No security in the parking area, but I found the hotel safe with cameras at doors and deliveries to the desk.

Decided to stay here vs the resort inns of Bethel (attended a wedding at one of the ski venues). Very much worth the extra 15 minute drive to and from venue to stay in a clean, quiet room. Hotel is around 2 years old everything is still very clean and in great shape. You can tell they stay on top of things. Internet worked well. Staff was friendly. Very satisfied.

Our family was flooded out with no power from our home. This was an excellent stay in our time of need. The staff and rooms were amazing and I can't thank them enough for making us feel as welcome as they did when we needed it most.

Beyond impressed with staff and lobby decor for rural Maine. I love Rumford's industrial mill town setting with waterfalls. Eric at the desk gave great advice on where to see waterfalling on both sides. Better amenities than I could have expected, nice salt pool and little fitness center. Excellent buffet breakfast, loved their open faced egg, cheese, bacon bagels. No light blocking curtains! Why would any hotel designer not include these in a modern hotel is beyond me. I wish I could figure out their strategy for not do so. Whyyyyy??? Otherwise I loved the place and especially the people all super friendly and going out of their way to help. Even got a call I left my phone charger :) Thanks Rumford Best Western Team!

This Best Western was the best I have stayed at. The staff are very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean. Indoor pool is a plus especially during the cooler weather. Beautiful park and waterfall across the street. Breakfast free in the morning and there is a great selection of hot and cold foods. Highly recommend this if you are in the area and need a place to stay.

The amenities were clean and the staff was friendly! Every encounter with a variety of staff was pleasant! They were friendly and helpful! Very short walk to the falls. Convenient to everything in town. Great continental breakfast, food was delicious and fresh.

This hotel is fabulous! The staff is very friendly and are willing to make you feel at home. The hotel is 1 year old and beautiful. Sarah, the person who takes care of the breakfast area was so nice and helpful. The manager spoke to us after we checked in and made us feel welcome. He also spoke with us the next morning. Everyone we spoke with was proud of this establishment. I would highly recommend staying there.

Truly the nicest staff that we have ever encountered at a hotel. Not just friendly because it was their job, bur genuinely kind and friendly. From the front desk staff, breakfast and housekeeping staff, they all loved our dog and treated him like he was their own. I cannot say enough about how welcome we felt here. The hotel was new and roomy, clean and well appointed. The room was large, very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was included and was quite good with a selection of hot and cold items. Lovely setting across from Rumford Falls. Easy walk to view them.

The hotel is very new from 2022 and kept in excellent condition. We recommend this hotel because: 1. Warm and sincere welcome from all staff 2. Lovely room and very comfortable beds 3. Excellent safe Wi-Fi 4. Very high level of cleanliness in the breakfast area and good selection of food 5. Very good advice about local restaurants (superb meal - thank you) Altogether a really lovely stay!

Second time I have stayed at this location in a year. The first time was when they opened, this time was for an American Legion event. It keeps getting better. They have a tight team of employees all dedicated to ensuring your stay was great......and it was. Kudos, hope to be back soon.

I had a great stay at the Rumford Best Western for business. I stayed 4 nights and enjoyed a full breakfast, clean Fitness Center, wonderful room and bathroom. I'd highly recommend. Exactly what you expect when traveling for work, even in rural Maine!

We stayed 2 nights with 3 kids ages 1, 6 and 10. Loved the breakfast & salt water pool. Room was very clean and a large fridge. Kids really enjoyed there stay and being able to watch morning cartoons. We will be back for sure!

This new hotel is clean, affordable and stuffed with courteous staff. I have stayed three times for four days each. Any problems are corrected promptly. The staff are friendly and happy to give local guidance.

All around 100% recommend Price, location and cleanliness! Great customer service over phone prior to visit. Best Western has come a long way! As nice as the Sheraton and Marriott properties. Impressive!

This hotel is 25 minutes form Sunday River. We choose a kitchenette as we had our 3 grandchildren with us. The was plenty of room to move around and the larger refrigerator, countertop, and sink made it easy to prep ski lunches. The hotel is very clean and the beds are comfy. The indoor pool was a great hit with the littles after a full day of skiing. Breakfast is a typical buffet with many options.

Came to Rumford to watch my father retire after many years of working, his employers made it a surprise party so staying at the Best Western made it doable for me and my family, extremely convenient and very close to everything!! The breakfast was excellent!!

I reserved 2 rooms which included Continental breakfast. Breakfast was served 6-10 am. We arrived for breakfast at 8:20 am to find the serving trays were completely empty. I asked the attenant; she resonded that its all gone. Only cold cereal was offered. The attendant stated that they run out of food all of the time. I paid a lot for those 2 rooms and expected breakfast but was sadly disappointed.

It's nice to finally have a hotel near my family when they can not accommodate everyone that's visiting. Very friendly staff, and a great little breakfast. Something worth noting, there's not much to do in the area after 9pm, so plan accordingly!

We stayed here for a work party in town. The staff is very welcoming and they are dedicated to making your stay as good as possible. The "hot" breakfast was a nice touch. I look forward to future stays here!

This was nice clean hotel. They had a list of restaurants in town to try as well as a list of activities occurring. There was hot coffee available during the day and evening. A plus with us! Would stay here again.

We were there for a reunion. Good breakfast selection. Excellent WiFi that allowed me to live stream. Staff was friendly and helpful. Very Clean throughout the facility. Didn't use it, but the salt water pool looked inviting. Wished we had planned for that!

This hotel was, by far, the best of the 4 other hotels I stayed at during my recent 4-night trip to New England. The room was quiet, the bed was VERY comfortable, and the climate control system maintained the perfect temperature. Overall, an EXCELLENT experience!

We stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. We were very please with everything from the minute we got there to the time we left. Friendly staff, beautiful hotel, brand new. The bed was comfortable, the shower was perfect. the breakfast was good. there was a good verity of things to choose from. All in all I couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

Breakfast was not ideal. Poor selections and poor quality did not meet the standard of full breakfast. Offered poorly cooked hash browns. Muffins donuts and make your own pancakes. Cold cereal, one kind of juice. Not worth paying for

Everything needed to be cleaned from desk to the leftover feces in the toilet. The place looked new. This hotel needs to teach staff how to clean rooms The front desk lady was very nice but appeared to be the only one working

Our stay at the new hotel in Rumford was very positive. Once their pool is open, visitors will be even more happy. The location is great, near downtown food options. The Falls are across the street and another nice place to hang out during your stay.

Stoped here while traveling to bar Bar harbor . New hotel, but the cleaning crew needs to be trained. Bathroom floors dirty, hair in the shower. Complained to front desk on checkout. Was told we are not the first to complain about the cleanliness
