Best Western Hotel Waukesha Grand, Pewaukee

Everyone was very nice and professional, the issue I had was with the room. No need to take a show just flush the toilet, it was spraying all over the place. The room was too small to have it as a two-queen bed. Two people could not walk around the room. The room was originally an adjoining room, the patch job on the wall looks like a 5-year-old did it. No way a professional would leave a wall like that. The refrigerator made an awful noise when it turned on, woke me up every time it turned on.

Everything went well. Close to our destination, friendly staff and finally more affordable! We didn't have the breakfast because we love the Dennys across the street. Omar is the best waiter ever! All in all, it was a great weekend!

We were very happy with our stay, especially the competent, caring staff. The rooms are updated and there is a nice pool indoors which unfortunately we had no time to enjoy. Great location, easy on/off highway. Highly recommend. Also noted a church group was there, playing guitar and singing softly with many children and it seemed the staff were very flexible and assisted all who needed. There is a small fee if you bring a pet, which is also a very nice feature

Room was clean, breakfast was very good (sausage, eggs, waffles, toast, bagels, etc.) and although we didn't get a chance to use it the pool looked very nice. The location right off of the freeway was helpful as well. We would definitely stay here again!

The room had a smell of stale smoke. Lighting was dim, this was with all lights on. Our tv remote was sticky and our tv service lost signal for a while. Overall, for the price, we were disappointed with our stay.

Room was fine for a hotel room. Staff was kind. There was a pool, exercise room, and conference room along with complimentary breakfast. The only confusing thing was the one way drive around but after going the wrong way the first time you remember.

We paid $99.67 AARP Senior Rate for 1 night stay 8/31/22. This was a single king bed room for 2 people. For the Milwaukee Metro Area, this is a good value compared to rates at other hotels. Milwaukee Metro Area charges higher rates then compared with other large Metro Areas in other States. We paid more than double this rate in September 2021 to stay at a hotel in Delafield, WI. We found Best Western Waukesha Grand to be cleaner than a lot of other hotels we have stayed at. The room was nice, spacious, with a nice bathroom, and plenty of towels. The toiletries they supply the room with are good quality. The pool and fitness room looked nice and clean, even though we did not use them. Did not bring swimsuits. The breakfast was good, lots of selections. Eggs, sausage, waffles, biscuits, gravy, yogurt, cereal, bagels, toast, fruit, muffins, anything you may want for breakfast. The area was kept very clean by the staffer, and she kept every thing filled. She did an excellent job. It was a nice stay. We will stay here again if we have to stay in Waukesha.

Once I walked into my room all I could smell is stale cigarette smoke, noticed stains on the satin pillows and runners. The walls also had some Knicks and dings that were very noticeable, so took photos to make sure I didn't grt charged with it. Not very bright in the room when it was dark. I feel like this could have been brought to staff due to them seeming friendly. I just didn't because I'm an introvert and don't care for confrontation if I can avoid it. I only used the room to sleep in and it did the job and the pillow with stains and the runner were taken off the bed. The smell of stale cigarette smoke just really stick to clothing. It may just been my room which was on the first floor. So maybe try the other two

Although not the newest of establishments, it was adequately clean. Desk person was very friendly and helpful. Good location near 94. Eating choices nearby were plentiful. Metro market walking distance. Three stays here now, price and location main reason, but no complaints.

Our family stayed here for the WI State Fair. Great location, easy 15 min to fairgrounds. Breakfast was great and the staff were outstanding. There is a strip mall located right next door so options for a quick bite.

clean hotel, easy check in, free breakfast and the lady who was maintaining the breakfast area was amazing. Nice, friendly, constantaly wiping down, picking up, restocking, rotating etc, all with a smile on her face!

We have stayed here many times before, but this is the first time we have not been able to check in early. The check in time is listed as 3:00p.m. We had reservations and tried to check in at 2:00, but were told that we had to wait until 3:00. We came back at 2:45 and still were unable to check in. At 3:00, they allowed us to check-in. There were multiple guests waiting to check in on that day. But yet on the next day, we saw people check in before 3:00. Don't understand this at all.

We were in town for a concert at Alpine Valley. Check-in was a breeze, rooms were clean and ready at 3pm. Bed was comfortable, staff were friendly, pool and hot tub were clean and in working order. All was good - no complaints.

Busy place...decent location. I found the bed to be way too soft ....but that seems to be how most chain type hotels are going. Breakfast was typical hotel morning fair...not a fan on powdered eggs but like a good boy I ate what was offered...Day mgr Kellie was great. Breakfast attendant was very attentive

This was a nice hotel. We had a nice Stay. It was clean and comfortable. The beds were comfortable and very nice shower. The breakfast was great with many choices. Very convenient parking and easy drive to the airport. Can't say anything bad about this hotel.

Kids playing games on computer and business travelers could not use it..Alarm clock had sticky " soda spill " mess all over it, Breakfast came out late and " hot " breakfast never showed up at all. Wake up calls worked.

Very clean hotel, including pool area, bed was very comfortable, ac worked great, breakfast was average hotel breakfast. Only con was drywall could have used repair was places that joints were falling apart in room and especially bathroom.

Staff was rude and did not clean room at all during my 4 day stay. When I Inquired about the room not being cleaned, the front desk staff said my business was not important to them. I will not stay here again

Great stay, pool was great. Staff was great at check in. We will defintly stay again. Lots of places to eat at in the area. parking lot kinda weird shaped but great. its close to freeway . had a beautiful pool and hot tub. looked very clean. patio is a nice addition to the property. front desk was great. had lots of information. the room was beautiful and nice and cool when we arrived. I loved the color scheme for rooms . all though the carpet by one of the night stands was super wet in the am. I did notify the desk at that point.

Our AC unit in room 308 sounded like an single propeller airplane winding up for take off. When we were checking out the fire alarm went off and the staff seemed untrained on what to do. We dropped our keys in the key return box and left. The shower head and water were nice.

Always awesome staff and a great place to stay. My go to spot when I am in the greater Milwaukee area. The breakfast is one of the best anywhere and they always accommodate my special requests to the best of their ability.

2nd time we've stayed at hotel. Came back to room in the evening and bedside table was soaking wet and bathroom floor was soaked too. Apparently came from above as there was a water stain on ceiling. Night clerk cleaned up the mess but said there were no other rooms available but offered to check us out at 10 P.M. at night with no suggestion as to where we could possibly stay. He also failed to report the problem to maintenance we discovered when we talked to the front desk in the morning. Also we discovered (after two days) that hotel room door would not lock from the outside. When you held key up to door it never lit up but door would open up anyway. You could lock it from inside, but door did not lock from outside so anyone could have come into our room during the day. Like I said, this was our 2nd visit the first one last summer was much better. I'll give the motel one more chance as I am staying there over Labor Day weekend.

It was a bed to sleep in and a bathroom to use. At check in the first staff told me she was working on clocking out and someone would be there shortly to help me. Finally, after waiting over 5 minutes the other staff came in and promptly clocked in and asked again if I was checking in. I said yes, he was efficient, however he did say my hotel # out loud which is a safety concern in such a small space with others around to hear. We got to the room and opened the door to see a mop inside. I have previously worked in hotels so I checked to see if the beds were made, shower curtain tucked, etc. They were so I just set the mop outside figuring housekeeping had forgotten it. About 15 minutes later without knocking at first, out door was trying to be opened. We had already put the extra safety lock on so the door couldn't actually open much. Finally a light knock and a man (not in any type of uniform) was saying housekeeping, had I been alone I wouldn't have opened the door. He said it wasn't clean, I asked if the room hadn't been cleaned, he corrected that the small part of floor hadn't been I told him that was fine and not to worry about it. These things added up to me that made the stay average at best.

I stay at this location for work every month. The breakfast is always full and the staff is awesome and friendly. Rooms are nice and beds are comfy. I can relax in the pool and hot tub as well as eat at the Roxy Bar and Grill that is just next door. I never have any issues when staying at this location right off of I94.

I always stay at this motel when I go to visit my Grand Children. Easy for me to Get to right off the Interstate. Don't have to do a lot of City Driving. There are several restaurants within the vicinity. And a Very Good Breakfast served right at the Motel. Very PLEASED WITH THE service AND will ALWAYS STAY HERE WHEN VISITING THE AREA OVERNIGHT.

We just spent a night at the Best Western Waukesha Grand and it was a nice experience. The property is clean and kept up. The lobby is inviting and the desk staff was friendly. Check in was easy. The rooms are standard mid-level, but clean and the fixtures seemed on the newer side. The beds were okay. The room came with the typical amenities: fridge, microwave, coffee maker, safe. The bathroom was clean and they provided plenty of towels. The pool area was nice. It was not too crowded. They also have a nice hot tub which is adjacent to the pool. This was great because the kids could swim and we could sit in the hot tub. They have a standard hotel breakfast: waffle machines, cereal, eggs, and so on. The dining area is pleasant: brightly lit and clean. The staff did a great job of cleaning and refreshing the breakfast area. The hotel is in a busier area, so there are options for dining and shopping. I'd recommend this property.

If you are looking for a good nights sleep, stay somewhere else. The heating/cooling systems don't regulate the temperature. We had four rooms and none of heating/cooling units worked properly. Loud noises from the highway, airplanes and other rooms also impacted all 10 guests sleep.

The room was clean. The hallways would benefit from a good vacuuming. The location was ideal--very close to Hwy 94. Getting into the parking lot was a little strange; there was no direct driveway. Good breakfast.

I enjoy staying here, it's got everything you need in a great location. There's a good size jacuzzi and pool my favorite part of the hotel honestly. There's a computer and printer as well next to it. The gym is small the equipment could be updated. Breakfast was great lots of options biscuits and gravy was the best part. The room was great everything I needed microwave, fridge, and a desk. I was pleased great stay .

Was a little surprised on the price I figured it was gonna be a low rate hotel but turned out to be a great hotel everything was clean and well put together staff was great and always asking if they could do more will be booking my future stays there when I'm in the area property is next to everything you need from fast food to grocery stores all within walking distance already booked my stay for next week

Lobby was nice. Breakfast options were meh. The biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were hard and stale and the eggs were cold and watery, but I heated them back up in my microwave in the room. The WiFi is AWFUL so I wouldn't suggest staying here if you plan on trying to work while here. The TV kept disconnecting from the service, my laptop wouldn't connect all the time, and when it did, it was SO SLOW, my phone was slow, just not worth it. When I was checking in, there was a large group of people coming in from the pool area screaming obscenities at each other, the person at the front desk said nothing to them about it. They were in the room across from mine and I could hear them screaming and yelling at each other through the doors. The front desk did move me to another room which I appreciated. But I wouldn't stay here for an extended amount of time.

I enjoyed my recent stay at this property. Staff were all terrific, Brian at the front desk was really pleasant. I typically don't eat the hotel breakfast but I make an exception with staying here as it is clean and very well presented. Biscuits and gravy were really good. So with that, I'll definitely be back. The phones didn't even work in the room. I tried calling customer service they said hotel would handle my issues. The hotel never did anything they never even contacted me after my complaints and never took anything serious. Not Happy. Can I repeat, not happy. Checked into hotel to learn that two different cards of mine were charged twice. Then to find out that our room doesn't have the cot as promised by customer relations. Then to be strong armed by Brian that we could rent a cot for 20 dollars per night when there was no charge to begin with. Then to see that the room was dirty had been used and not cleaned prior to our arrival. I am very very very upset. Mr. Brian could do absolutely nothing to help us nor did he even attempt to contact a manager on call. He said that "well I guess your kids will have to sleep on the floor" that my amounts could not be credited back to my cards. Both banks were charged the same amounts. He refused to contact the on call manager. He is absolutely useless and to top it off we waited over 25 minutes before he decided to do his job and come to the front desk. There were fuzz balls all over the bed, there was new clothing tags on the bed, there was even garbage in the garbage can, like seriously. Then to find out that no one in cx relations is even available today by phone I have to contact tomorrow. Further, I contacted my bank and they said you guys can credit my amounts back. I called cx care again and they assured I'd be credited back. Then to top it off, no one maintained cleanliness off pool. Floors constantly wet and dirty and same for pool windows. The pool was always yellow. To top it off an incident report was suppose to be filed because a large mirror was taped to the wall fell on to my mom hurting her. Your staff did not follow protocol. So many violations of safety. The owner never contacted me nor did the manager Kelly like cx care said they would. Overall stay: the shitiest hotel ever especially from coming out of town. All the staff is terrible. Not to mention it took 6 dollars to dry a small load of laundry and no rectifying it. Ohh we will have maintenance look at it! Yeah okay it's your tactic to Nicole and dime everyone

The room was comfortable. The coffee ever-flowing! The breakfast spread was impressive for these days of COVID. Unfortunately, it seemed they were short-staffed, leaving the hallways unvacuumed and rather cluttered. The front desk staff were always attentive and friendly -- KUDOS to them. The lady who kept the breakfast on the tables was friendly and jovial -- KUDOS to her!

My stay at the Best Western Hotel was awesome! It was my daughter's 10th birthday and we had a blast! From the front desk clerks, to the breakfast attendant, all the way down to the housekeeping staff everyone was awesome. Rooms were very clean, breakfast was fresh, hot, and delicious. They also had a nice selection. Everyone was very attentive and very pleasant and professional. I would definitely recommend this hotel and I will definitely be back myself! Great staff. It was wonderful to have a real breakfast in the morning. The breakfast consisted of homemade waffles, eggs, sausage , gravy, yogurt, toast, cereals, and fruit. Along with a choice of juices and coffee. This was the first time I had a real breakfast since COVID started in a hotel.

Found beg bugs 2 hours after getting there. I expected we'd get a refund since we weren't staying the night, nope! They refused to refund and would not contact the manager because they “didn't want to bother him.” They did not apologize either, they did not care at all and we had to find another hotel at 9:30pm. Next day I called corporate and they also refused to refund and said it's up to the manager. Stay away from this place and best western in general. Look at the reviews on their Facebook page, so many people have had experiences with bed bugs!

Came back after 5 years and will come again! Close to many activities in area and the indoor pool, exercise room, breakfast available and reasonable rates make this an ideal place to stop. Rooms had enough area to move about freely. The only negative would it being near a very small regional airport that has small planes.

Nice hotel, clean lots of food options near by. Comfortable beds, fridge and microwave in the room. Great staff, hot breakfast. All around a good hotel at a good price. The elevator might be the slowest I've ever seen and they have been without tv for over 45 days now. Hopefully that gets resolved soon.

We stayed here before an ortho appointment. My husband 2 weeks post op on crutches. When I booked I was told we would have a first floor room near front desk. Checked in and no on 2nd floor half way down. Never told when we booked that the tvs are down in whole hotel due to construction, no cable. Have asked for a shower chair and so far none delivered. Will never stay here again.

I used to travel a lot for work. I have stayed in many BW hotels. I was confident in having a nice stay. I was wrong. I booked a one room, 2 QUEEN bed room. When we got into the room I noticed the beds looked small. When sleeping my fiance and I couldn't even lay on our sides without hitting out knees, arms, etc. These are NOT queen beds. I have a queen and a full at home. It's the same size as the full. When checking in, I noticed a 'sign' that said their cable tv was not working. The fix to this was we could cancel our reservation free of charge. We were in town for a friends wedding, I already knew there were no other hotels near for our needed dates that had availability. So we stayed. I asked about a discount for our stay and the staff said "no, that's why we are offering free cancellation." Wow. Really glad I brought the kid's tablet and my computer otherwise they wouldnt have had ANYTHING to watch for 2 nights/3 days. This hotel has a pool and hot tub. The pool was cold. The kids "got used to it" but I was upset as it was too cold for me to swim. I went into the hot tub which was as hot as a hot shower. Not what you'd expect going into a hot tub. When showering (which my fiance refused to do because he said it looked gross), I noticed the edges of the shower had PAINTED OVER mold!!!!! This prompted me to look around which I noticed more around the edges of the tile, behind toilet, etc. I used to clean hotel rooms. This is UNACCEPTABLE. The floor in front of our TV (or paperweight during our stay), had a huge sticky spot on it. So disgusting! We had to put a towel down to avoid our foot sticking to the carpet everytime you walked past. Needless to say, we will NEVER stay at another BW again. Nor will I refer anyone to this location or any of their locations.

This place was horrible the front desk service was awful and then inform us that the internet and television didn't work.. They had my number they could have given me a courtesy call to tell me this instead they wait till I get there when it's too late to find alternative accommodations

The staff here at the Best Western Grand in Waukesha is what makes this place! A fully renovated hotel, clean and comfortable we felt very welcome. Kitchen staff in the breakfast room does their very bes. they're bustling around during busy times to make sure you have everything that you need. Pleasant conversation, willingness to give directions and a happy environment what more do you need! We had a wonderful visit and we hope that you do too. A side note, through no fault of their own the cable is out. They are working hard to fix it. They take a lot of grief for this And it is not their fault. Bring your own HDMI cable and attach it to your own laptop with apps and you will be fine.

I stayed at the Best Western in Pewaukee for 10 days, I arrived at 1 am weary from a long day of traveling. When I finally got to my room I was going to watch tv and get some sleep. When I turned the TV on there was no reception. I called down to the desk to ask whats up. Then the guy at the desk say " oh yeah I forgot to tell you the TV doesnt work and probably wont until Monday. Too tired to argue I went to sleep. The next day I spoke to Kelly at the front desk and she said that we were told that the Tv wasnt working and was given a chance to go to a different hotel. That was a boldfaced lie. I was never sent an email , text or told when I checked in that the tv wasnt working. When I asked for some money back for my severe inconvienence I again was told that I was told about this issue when I checked in. I dont like being called a liar. Needless to say the TV never worked in the 10 days I stayed there. I will never stay at a Best Western ever again.

I rated this hotel a two because it has declined. It use to be the best. This stay for 6 nights was a nightmare. Would have left but went thru Priceline. Beds were the worst ever!!! I had back pain an could not move hardly took muscle relaxers, Tylenol an ibuprofen. No discount an no attempt to make stay better!! No TV. Spectrum out for 4 weeks. Had room cleaned only one time an it wasn't a good job!!! No restock on toilet paper, etc. we were so disappointed this trip. Staff nice an front desk lady Kelly an kitchen breakfast lady Renee was nice an tried to help. Maintenance had to be called , shower would not work, pull up wouldn't pull up an if you got it up wouldn't go down!!! Last day they did fix it. !!! Stay at your own risk!!

Not too impressed with the hotel. It's old and not updated. The bathroom had mold around the shower enclosure. Upon check-in I was told the cable was out. I could have backed out of the reservation but nothing else was available so I wasn't left much of a choice. The room had stains along the ceiling. Walking thru the hall the odor of marijuana was extensive. The hotel staff wasn't surprised when I called to inform them.

We stayed in a Jacuzzi king suite. The hotel is well-maintained. The room itself was clean and well maintained. The bath and shower showed no signs of wear. The only inconvenience was no USB charging, which dates the hotel, but there were plenty of outlets. The complimentary breakfast exceeded our expectations with waffles, real eggs, sausage, cereal, etc. The main disappointment was the level of noise. It was a Friday night and we could hear TVs and conversation blaring from rooms as we went down the hall. At 3am I was woken by the room next door where it sounded like people talking. Perhaps it was poor noise insulation or just loud clientele.

I had a good experience at this hotel. It was quieter than the best western I stayed at right before coming to this hotel, even though there was a screaming child across the hall every day I was there, it was mainly blocked out. Thank goodness. It was clean and the staff were very friendly. Although there was no cable, you can't fault the hotel for such accidents happening. I was told right away about it. It was also the only hotel I've been at in the past two years that had a working pool AND hot tub.

No cable service, very high pricing ($300+) for a Saturday night stay and I don't know why. Very noisy in our room, several families with children were conversing in hall and going in and out of rooms. Talking loudly. Refrigerator did not work.

We checked in @9pm to be told the cable was out for the entire building. They would give a refund to cancel the stay but would not give a discount for the stay. I paid almost $800 for 2 nights. Not worth the price at all. Very disappointed.

We arrived for a family wedding on a Friday. While we weren't there to watch tv is was a shock to learn their cable had taken a lightening strike wasn't working for the foreseeable future. The rooms were clean and comfortable but could use a refresh. The breakfast buffet was average, coffee was good and there was a great breakfast place just down the block. The staff was friendly and helpful. I prefer a place that's a little more upscale, but this was inexpensive and perfectly acceptable where it counted.

The room smelled musty, the cable t.v. didn't work and the walls appeared to have extra plaster to cover up water issues. We stayed two nights and they didn't change the sheets and bring us clean towels after the first night. The only staff member that was friendly was the lady handling the breakfast food and cleanup.

I stayed for two nights and did not need to spend much time in the room. The hotel was crowded when I arrived on a Saturday, less so from Sunday to Monday. The lobby area was clean; the hallway rugs upstairs have seen better days. The room was musty so I kept the A/C running as much as possible. The bathroom was clean, but the tub really looked used and unappealing, and the shower handle was broken. There was no cable TV because of an equipment problem but there was wifi, so I didn't mind too much. Breakfast was OK and the staff in the breakfast room was very friendly and helpful.

When we checked in the front desk clerk said btw our TVs have been out for a few days and we will be out for a few more days. I asked if there were any other hotels in the area and he just said good luck everybody is sold out for the weekend. I asked if would adjust our bill because I reserved a room with a tv and he said that I would have to ask the manager and she only works Monday thru Friday 7am to 3pm. Other than that for the price the hotel was just ok.the carpets in the hallway was real dirty. And the front clerks were always standing at the front door smoking

This was fine for one night because I just needed a place to sleep and shower. Upon arriving, the front desk employee was outside smoking by the front doors. He asked if I was checking in and then told me “okay, I'll be right there”. He also told me the TVs in the rooms didn't work because they were having trouble with the cable. No apologies, just “BTW there's no TV” with a shrug. The elevator is S L O W. The room was musty, but cleared a bit when I cranked up the AC. I thought I had booked a standard King room, but wound up in an accessible Queen room. The hotel was PACKED so I didn't ask to change rooms. The shower looks a bit sketchy and stained and there are random stains on the ceiling and walls of the room. The mini fridge was a bonus though. The biggest issue was parking. I arrived back at the hotel around 10pm from the event that I was traveling here for and there wasn't a single space left. I called the front desk to see where I could park and not get towed. They said I could park next door at the battery store as long as I moved my car before they opened. I'm sorry, but that doesn't really seem like a solid plan. They do offer breakfast, but I did not make use of that. The hotel is absolutely stuffed to capacity with large groups of teenagers. Between that and trying to be cautious around groups of people I don't know because of Covid, I chose to skip the breakfast crowd. Anyway, this hotel is relatively clean and just fine for a one night stay where you don't need much. But, I am also glad that my stay was less than 24 hours.

Romms are nice, beds are comfortable, staff is outstanding. Right off the interstate so it's easy to find. Local grocery store and resturants within walking distance. I just love this place. I would recommend to anyone

Clean older property. Location is great, plenty of places to eat and shop within walking distance. Right off of I90 so there is easy access. The pool looked nice but we did not have time to use it. Continental breakfast was good with plenty of options.

We we forced to leave our home due to an ongoing power outage. Best western was the closest hotel with rooms available due to the outages and state fair. It worked out well for us a there was a bar and restaurant in walking distance. The only complaint is the rate seemed rather high. Not sure if rates were elevated due to the fairs going on but we thought it was pricey for a hotel with out an bar and restaurant on premises.

We ended up at the Waukesha Grand to meet up with friends, and as late registrants for the Oshkosh Air Show. It was easy in-and-out, spotless, beds and shower pressure were EXCELLENT, and the breakfast and 24-hour coffee-on-demand was wonderful. Pool and hot-tub were in great shape, and staff was pleasant and helpful.

It was ok. Need a better plan for safety of guests during storms/tornado warnings. Breakfast wasn't great and there were people outside pretty much tailgating the first couple of nights. Staff was really nice

Wife and I suffered numerous bug bites while in our room, especially evident in the morning after waking up (bed bugs ?) Heard another bug complaint while checking out from another guest from the 3rd floor. We notified Best Western Customer Service desk and Waukesha County Health Department after returning home in Arizona.

They gave someone the key to our hotel room.At 1:30 in the morning someone trying to come in our room. When I complained to the front desk they said there was nothing they could do about it. It was just a mistake. I call down to talk.to the Manger the next day they were not available.

I keep seeing and hearing ass about $20 when you stay at Best Western. We never received this. The beds were comfortable and the room was clean. It's not pleasant to walk out the front door and guests and staff are all smoking right there.

The rooms were very clean and quiet. Wi-Fi connection was great. Very large number of cable channels to select from. The tile around the pool and hot tub is very dangerous. It has no traction, so it is extremely slippery when wet. Use great caution if you use these amenities. The pool itself is wonderful, large for a hotel pool and the water temperature is perfect, not cold as you find in so many hotel pools.

This place, in spite of COVID, served a full buffet breakfast, including biscuits and gravy along with waffles and all the other fixings and usual stuff. The pool and hot tub were great and staff was friendly. Housekeeping even cleaned out room knowing that we were only staying two nights. We were not expecting cleaning the second day. Our family stayed one night here and had an awesome experience. The check in was quick and the staff was courteous. The lobby was welcoming and they had little trolleys for us to put our bags to wheel to the room. I love the fitness center and they even had a computer in the front lobby for those last minute work related tasks. The rooms were spacious, cool, and clean. They provided plenty of towels for our family without us requesting more compared to other hotels. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone needing a place to stay for a night or two.

The hotel was recommended for accommodating lodging of a wedding we were attending in the nearby area. It was exactly what we expected. Affordable rates, friendly staff, easy parking and nearby gas stations and a coffee stop. Just a short drive from downtown Waukesha and not too far from Milwaukee. The vending machines were stashed and accepted credit cards for late night snacking :) We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed the breakfast each day. The fitness center is small, but has the essentials to sneak in a quick refresh workout. Didn't get a chance to take advantage of the pool but it seemed clean and people looked like they were enjoying it :)

We are traveling across Wisconsin as part of the AVA (America's Walking Club) biennial convention. A pre-walk for the convention was held in Oconomowoc, just twenty miles from the Best Western Waukesha Grand Hotel in Pewaukee. From the moment we walked in the door of the hotel, we felt comfortable in the building and welcomed by the staff. The htel is well maintained, the staff is friendly, and the breakfast is back to what it was before COVID-19 struck. In addition, the hotel's location is just off the freeway, so easy to access.

We would not recommend this anyone except maybe our worst enemy! Like I have seen in other reviews (which probably won't even be posted), that we aren't the only ones that think the rooms stink like stale smoke or some horrible smell!! We switched our first room and second one was just as bad. We had to have housekeeping come to our room and clean the bathroom due to something splashed all over the mirror! She also had to do some other cleaning and wash the floors. That was really nice to see. In the bathroom sink if you ran the water more than 3 seconds it would fill up! There were bugs on the window sill, the caulking on all the walls and windows were cracking and paint was coming off!! It wasn't clean and i could go on and on, but don't want to take an hour to write everything down. We didn't even stay for breakfast, because we thought if our room wasn't clean, what about the food in the kitchen???? We ate at the Denny's close by. We traveled 5 hours for a family wedding we were attending, and if there would have been any other rooms available at a different hotel in the area, we would have been gone!!!!! I was promised a credit on our charge card for 25% off of our bill, and now I am fighting to get that. The apparently got mad at us when I called the Best Western Corporate offices to complain about the room and staff! The Corporate Offices after speaking with them and explaining our problem with the hotel, they offered us an additional 8,000 points which was really nice of them. When the Best Western we stayed at in Pewaukee learned of this, they decided they weren't going to give us a credit because of what Corporate gave us in points. That had absolutely NOTHING to do with where we stayed and Corporate apparently felt we deserved another 8,000 points in addition to the 5,000 we got from the hotel and the 25% discount on our bill. Now I find out they never issued the credit, but added an additional 25% to our charge card. Apparently they don't like people calling Corporate and complaining about their rooms. They act like kindergarteners!!! I have been on the phone for almost 2 hours with Corporate and my Charge Card Company trying to resolve this ridiculous problem with our 25% refund. They should not even be in business if that is the way they are going to act and treat their customers, who by the way are Best Western Members. NOT FOR LONG THOUGH!!!!!!!!!!!!! Never will stay at another Best Western Again!

I have traveled from coast to coast over the last 10 years. I traveled during Covid and this is one of my top 10 BW hotels. It was clean! Food service handling fantastic. I stayed for 25 days used the whole facility. Laundry area clean!! Lobby clean! Gym clean and good equipment choices, I'm handicapped and they were very accommodating and the building very suitable in all ways

I would not recommend this place at all. My wife and I stayed here after our wedding in the King Whirlpool Room. First was charged over what we were quoted. We were given a discount for 2 nights but full price for the 3rd. The room was very dusty to the point you could see it on common surfaces like the night stands, desk, tv stand. The whirlpool knobs kept falling off. The panels in front of the whirlpool were loose and coming apart. Our room was "cleaned" by housekeeping but all they did was pretty much replace the shampoo type items and make the bed. They did not even change the sheets because there was a slight stain in the exact spot from previous day. Front desk clerk also seemed annoyed when we asked for extra towels for the pool. If you have to stay here for a night on business i guess it's okay, other than that i would not recommend.

The worst smelling room I have stayed at. It smelled like an ash tray. I asked for a different room and they said they were all full. I asked if the hotel was non smoking and of course they said yes. I will never stay at a Best(worst) Western again. I would give a zero rating if it was allowed.

Nice room and very personable staff. I got in a little early and the desk assistant was more than happy to sign me in. The morning breakfast was very well prepared. The room was very clean with a refrigerator and wi-fi access. I had reserved severa rooms for other team mates and all were treated very well and checked in promptly.

Staff was very friendly and helpful. Hotel was clean and set up nicely. The breakfast was an added bonus. The food was fresh and delicious. Rooms were comfortable and nicely set up. Kids enjoyed being able to use the pool. Reservation for pool was a little constricting, but understand. However, in a way, it was nice that there were less people allowed at a time so the pool wasn't overly crowded.

When we checked in Saturday night, two people were hanging out in the lobby without masks on. The man looked rough and had an unlit cigarette hanging out of his mouth. Once we got into our room, my 16-yr-old daughter said, “There are some questionable people in this hotel.” When we left to go pick up food, the couple was still hanging out in the lobby area without masks. I thought they were both guests, but then I noticed the man going into the mechanical room. The next morning I saw him again, this time behind the front desk with a mask on, so he must be an employee. The maskless woman was in the lobby again as well. I'm not sure if she works there or not. In general, I noticed that the mask requirement was not being enforced among hotel guests. It was probably a 60/40 split. More guests had them on Sunday morning than Saturday night.

This is a place that is really cared for. If there is any problem simply address it and they will fix it asap. It's is great location close to several restaurants and stores. They have a great breakfast everyday and they keep it clean and stocked the entire time breakfast is served. They have a pool area and exercise area but I haven't used either. They also have a laundry area. They have vending machines and ice machines. The lobby is very nice with a comfortable place to sit in front of a tv and electric fireplace. Housekeeping is available everyday and they will check if you need anything. The rooms are very nice with comfortable beds, mini fridge, microwave, desk, ironing board, bathtub and shower, hair dryer, cable tv.

My husband and I wanted a night away after an emotional week. My mother passed away earlier in the month and we wanted a night away from all the reminders. All we wanted was a room with a king size bed and a whirlpool tub. The room we had was EXACTLY what we needed and wanted. The tub was perfect and the bed was VERY comfy ! This hotel was very clean and quiet...The bed was very comfy. Front desk was friendly . Fast checkin and checkout.They had a nice breakfast..with waffles,sausage eggs,fruit and other things to pick from

Room was fine as far as heating, amenities. BUt went to pull the extar cover and pillow from the closet and dust flew everywhere. It left a huge dust imprint on the sheets and could use it. Had to skae the bed sheets to get rid of it. Bathroom was not really clean around the tub either. Breakfast was decent except the biscuits for the gravy were ice cold! Right out of the fridge. Doughy, and had to heat them in a microwave as even with hot gravy they were ice cold.

I don't think I have unrealistic expectations but I expect to have a clean room. I usually stay at Hilton properties because that is the standard of room I expect. This was the closest to my work. It wasn't terrible but definitely not what I'm used to.

They were good clean rooms with good services available and located near anything you could need for a trip. I was able to be located near all the family members I was there to visit and pool area was clean and enjoyable.

Close to everything, clean, and quiet. No complaints about any of the usual things -- pillows and beds were good, water pressure in the shower was just right. If I had to find something to "criticize", it would be that I needed more counterspace in the bathroom for our family of three (first world problems!). But we made it work, and we will stay here again in the summer when we come back.

This hotel is a bit dated but nice. Staff are efficient, did not have any issues with them. Check in was quick. Wear a mask as it is required. They give military/veterans discount so be sure to ask at checking. You will not get the discount if you book on an external site.

Close to freeway, but still quiet, Hot breakfast and friendly staff. Was on business in Milwaukee which is only a twenty minute drive away. Convenient location without the city prices and parking fees.

The location was just what we needed. We needed a place that was easily accessible to Church and Chapel and St. Charles church in Hartland. The hotel staff was friendly and accommodating and the rooms were clean and comfortable. I would stay here again if I was in town.

Check in was smooth and friendly. Got to our 2nd floor room which was on the freeway side and had a musty bad odor. Easily moved across the hall. Still a little stale smelling but OK. Opened the window for fresh air. Room was clean, bed comfortable enough but no extra blanket and the blanket on the bed was too thin for comfortable sleeping. The ventilation system was pretty loud. Breakfast was adequate considering COVID limitations. Overheard the desk clerk politely asking a teenage girl to accept and wear a mask while she sat coughing in the lobby. Snippy girl was quite rude and refused. Then the mom, also not wearing a mask got all rude and said they didn't need to be wearing masks and she would report the clerk to Best Western. Totally out of line. The desk clerk was professional and doing her best to keep everyone safe. It was much appreciated.

The king bed was comfortable, sleep great! Room was good size room, had a desk, chair, lounge chair with ottoman, dresser and 2 night stands with plugs! The TV is a little small for the room. The light by the door turns the two night stand lights on, which is very nice. Overall the price was great. Also, has a pool. One disappointing thing is due to COVID19, breakfast options were VERY limited.

Property was good. Staff not following government edict to wear masks when in public places. Mostly, the staff wore masks but did not enforce the sign on the front door, requiring masks. Someone checking in and going on the elevator had no mask and the staff allowed her to check in. And when I checked out, the desk clerk did not have a mask on. Does not make me feel very safe.

Best Western Corporate has instructed us to hang the signs about wearing a mask in public areas. We have been instructed to suggest that masks be worn, but we are not to confront anyone for not wearing one. We are following our directive.

I do not understand how this place is possibly getting any good reviews. There was mold in the AC and in the bathroom! I was supposed to stay for 2 nights after Priceline recommended this place and had to leave at 1am with my 2 young children bc the mold and smell were so bad we couldn't sleep. They refused to refund us any of our money. Even for the second night when we didn't even make it through the whole first night. This place should be condemned! Seriously, do not stay here!

Given the price, this turned out to be a pretty decent place. It was clean, seemed pretty new. My visit was quite brief but I was very pleased overall. I didn't take advantage of much and being pandemic time, breakfast was nil, but can't complain.

Room was nice everything worked, served it's purpose. Breakfast was not even close to our last BW stay however. We realize this COVID thing has disrupted everything... but plastic wrapped pastry and food "bar" was it... the last BW in Clarksville TN... had a egg , cheese and sausage breakfast sandwich plus other goodies (see my review of our stay there on May 4, 2020) in a "grab and go" bag. One reason might have been that this one was less expensive? You get what you pay for. Still a clean and good hotel though.

loved the hotel in its self.. but upon arrival bed had long hair on it and also the bathroom floor.. and due to the pandemic I wanted to keep socal distance so didn't complain.. I just lysol the room and tried to relax

Check in was seamless....nothing to report. Rooms were clean. Hallways were dirty when we arrived, but next day vacuumed and cleaned up. Housekeeping worked hard during a very busy weekend. My wife and daughter had no trouble sleeping but I did. Beds not to my liking for sleeping, but were comfortable for them. TV, fridge, microwave in room. Bathroom was average hotel with hair dryer, tub/shower, ect. Adjoining rooms if you need them. Walls are thin....can hear people next door (or a group of giggling teen girls talking about boys (entertaining?). Pool looked clean. Work out room had treadmill, elliptical, free weights, and TV (small room). Hotel was good for the price....maybe had I had a King bed and room to spread out, I would have slept better.... Breakfast daily. Average with eggs, waffles, fruit, ect....

Our problem was the room, drink rings on the table surfaces, counter tops in the bathroom had stuff on them, hair in the bathroom floor and tub, shower head was absolutely terrible could have went to a truck stop for a better shower, the faucet was hanging off the wall, hallway noise could hear people walking by and every little noise, larger trash cans not sure why hotels do this but larger trash cans would be a good idea,,, remote the tv guide was all wrong so that was irritating couldn't get extra towels cause they didn't have any

We stayed in king whirlpool suite! Bed was awesome! Jacuzzi Tub was great! Pool area and hot tub were nice and clean. Plenty of room in our rooms. Team used breakfast area to play games and eat dinner. Hotel was very accommodating! Breakfast was lovely! Overall loved it

My only complaint is that they never have towels in by the pool and when you ask them to bring some in they only bring 5 or so even though they can see there is 10+ people in the pool. Staff are always friendly and facility is clean.

It was good experience other then the elevator broke saterday during the day and was not fixed. I had alot of luggage due to we was there for my daughter cheer competition. Otherwise it was a good stay. Food was good but they did serve biscuits and gravy both days it would be nice to have a different choice for the second day. Waffles was great.

When we arrived to our room I unpacked while my daughter ate her lunch. As I approached her I saw something scatter across her plate. I squashed it and felt a little uneasy as I wasn't sure what it is. I decided to look around the beds to make sure I didn't find more and when I opened the drawer to the nightstand (which is between the two queen beds) I was horrified to see at least 6-7 cockroaches scurrying around. I captured one alive and took the dead one downstairs to show the front desk. The man seemed in the least bit concerned and made me feel like I had brought them in with me! At my insistence I asked for another room on another floor and if I had the option to leave and go to another hotel I would have! In no way was I made to feel like this issue would be taken care of,therefore I would never ever stay there again! I work in customer service and when something like this happens you do whatever it takes to make the customer feel comfortable and happy with their stay! To think I spent money on a night of misery is very frustrating. My daughter couldn't sleep for fear she would have bugs crawling on her. I spoke with the front desk in the morning hoping to have a better outcome of my issue and to at least feel they would being a exterminator into the hotel but all I got was yeah I have gotten complaints about the worker from last night he is rude. So not only do they employ rude workers, they have cockroaches in the rooms. Look somewhere else if you want a clean comfortable hotel room! Also the pool water was freezing and in no way could you swim in it.

Me and my husband always comes to best western for our weekend or anniversary getaway. They are very respectful. If you need something they would help you. And I love the fact that the pool stay open til 11pm and opens @ 5:30. The breakfast is ok. I just wish they had scramble eggs and Turkey bacon or sausage. But overall a great hotel.

We have stayed at the Best Western Waukesha Grand three times in the last 2 years. We faced a long trip each time and knowing that we will have a safe, clean, comfortable place to lay our heads at the end of the day is priceless. We know once we get to Best Western Waukesha we will be taken care of! We appreciate the affordable price as we are on a budget. From the very first phone call contact to the last check out, the staff is always friendly and accomadating. Once by error of our own, we had to stay at another more expensive swanker hotel. They were not as comfortable, beds were not as nice, nor were they as friendly. We couldn't move our things to Best Western Waukesha fast enough. Breakfast is great and pool and all other accomadations are clean, beds are comfortable. I regularly recommend this hotel to my friends and family who travel to Waukesha. Thank you Kellie and the gang for making our stay in Waukesha a good one. Our travel weary bones appreciate it!

Stayed here for the Oshkosh EAA air venture 2019 and felt it was a good deal. Not to far to drive but still better priced vs. quality than you get closer. Had a good 4 night stay and can happily recommend to anybody with not to high demands of standard! Price worthy! The only negative was that the room was not cleaned 2 of the 4 days! I am pretty sure the cleaning staff was under manned. The clean up room note was gone but no cleaning inside. Day 3 we told the cleaner we met in corridor and room was perfect when we came home later in the evening. Cleaner looked somewhat embarrest! Never the less, good stay and good value!

Far from perfect but for the price it's probably the best one around. The staff here is very helpful. I always come here for many reasons: 1. Convenient - Its location is easy to get to, there's plenty of places to eat nearby and stores nearby. 2. Quiet - The building is kind of tucked away, it's kind of hard to find. The rooms are quiet, never hear people next door or below/above. Don't hear much noise from outside. 3. Inexpensive - There's a place a little cheaper a few miles away and it was dirty and noisy. This one is the best deal. The breakfast is pretty good. The food is fresh and there's plenty of options. 4. Clean - It's pretty clean for an older building. Rooms smell good. Bedding is clean. Towels are soft. Plenty of pillows. Mostly comfortable bed. Extra things to note: Room size is not too small. The double rooms have enough space. Desk, office chair, small table and two sitting chairs, mini fridge and microwave, ironing board, small closet like area. Bathroom is roomy. Room decor is kind of dated, makes it seem dark. The heat/ac is sometimes annoying. If it isn't one that has a digital control then it's not so bad. Bonus: there's a pool and hot tub, workout area, business center, vending and ice machines. If there's a problem the staff will help with any reasonable solution.

Modestly dated, but very well kept up hotel. Traveling into town after the midnight hour, I felt the staff went above board to make sure that this weary travel was safely accommodated. Similar to how a comfort food restaurant compares to a trendy restaurant, this hotel really hit the spot for me.

We had a weekend staycation here. Everything was fine---definitely very good for the class of hotel. Got a quiet, third floor room with comfortable beds and decent climate control. Area surrounding hotel is strip mall-ish (like much of the area.) Close to highway, so easy access to anywhere.

3rd time I have stayed here in the last 2 years. Nice room each time I have stayed here. The Breakfast was good and well stocked as each day there were many people eating the breakfast and the attendant was right on the spot with bringing more items out. The pool was nice, as it is indoors and well maintained. I would stay here again when I am in town and need a hotel. I recommend this hotel!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hotel is very easy to access. Room was not very clean. If I can see the dirt, then the housekeepers should be able to as well. The room itself was okay, although one of the beds needs to be changed as it was really saggy. The other bed was fine. There were a couple of interesting characters staying there smoking outside the door that I imagine may be longer term tenants. The hotel is next to a bar and restaurant which was really convenient for dinner. My main complaint was the room cleanliness.

First time at this hotel, we were very pleased. Staff very friendly, hotel very nice. Our room was very clean and quiet. Very nice breakfast layout. Close to highway but you cannot hear it. Restaurants close and easy to get to.

Very nice hotel in a nice location. Plenty of spots near by to eat and shop. Clean rooms. Bathroom was a little small. The entrance to the hotel is difficult to find because you have to go through other businesses to get there.

We booked this hotel because we were attending Homecoming at Carroll University. It was about a 10-15 drive from the campus. It is difficult to find where the actual front of this hotel is located and how to get there. You have to drive through several different business parking lots just to find the front door. It took us at least 10 minutes to check in. They had one person working the front desk and he was trying to fix a remote control for a guest. I had several Best Western Travel Cards that I wanted to apply to our reservation. After the long wait, he said he couldn't do it and to ask someone to do it in the morning. Thank goodness that we weren't in a hurry the next day. The front desk person was able to apply it for us. The rooms are very dark and dated. The closest consisted of a small rod with some hangers and a curtain to cover it up. Our room had signs that it had been painted, but not by professionals. The light switches were covered in paint and just didn't look good. We also found what appeared to be paint spots on out duvet. We were only there one night, but if I had booked another night, we would have stayed someplace else. We travel a lot and this particular Best Western really wasn't up to the standards of other Best Westerns.

Half of the already small parking lot was blocked off for construction of sorts. This made it very confusing and frustrating while trying to park or leave. The room was a bit dated and bed was worn. The water pressure in the shower was very disappointing. The washcloths were dirty. Will not be back. Can not recommend.

Great place to stay. Needed a night away. Hotel room with whirlpool was amazing. Location was conveniently located off of I 94. Close to shops and restaurants. Room was clean and quiet. Breakfast, pool and hot tub were all just extra nice amenities.

The hotel and staff do an fantastic job of taking care of their guests and the hotel property, definitely recommend. I would definitely stay at this hotel again, its a great location for those doing business near Pewaukee and wanting to access things to do in Milwaukee.

I stayed here to start our vacation in Wisconsin. The hotel is about 30 min outside of Milwaukee. It's adjacent to a shopping center that includes a grocery store. Check in and out were relatively easy. The room was clean, relatively quiet and the beds were comfortable. There was a small cardio room as well. Breakfast was a bit lite, but was generally okay. For the price the amenities and stay were reasonable.

Checked in on a Sunday for a wedding. Knowing there were a block of rooms reserved ahead of time, there was only one worker at check-in with a line and nobody came to assist. room amenities were replenished upon arrival, but it did not appear that the floor was vacuumed at all. Bathroom was wiped down except the toilet, which should have been.

Guests were given keys to the room, at the proper check in time of 3:00, when the rooms were not even ready. We stood outside the door while the cleaning staff finished. Others arrived at their rooms to find the previous reservations belongings still in the room, uncleaned, at 3:00pm, check in time. Never give a guest a key to a room when it is not ready. All were told IN ADVANCE that rooms were ready. The Shower over Tub units are extremely dangerous, tight, not level and slippery. The breakfast service ended at 9:30 on a Sunday morning, and 9:30 meant 9:30, things were being covered up in front of guests, by very rude staff. We were awakened at 8:30 am to cleaning staff knocking on doors to announce themselves, and then continued to talk amongst themselves in the hallway, not actually getting much cleaning done. No wonder the rooms were not ready by late afternoon. If you have other options,in this area, please choose a different hotel.

Had a family birthday party followed by a Brewer game the next day. Location was perfect.Breakfast was great. Loved pool and hot tub. Had 3 rooms for my family and cousin and sister. Only bad thing is figuring out how to get in parking lot the 1sf time.

The hotel was ok. It was obvious that the hotel was undergoing renovations. The renovations were ok but the quality of the work was poor. Made the whole hotel feel like nobody really cared much (paint on door jambs, tub fixtures that were not installed properly, etc). I stayed here becsaue they allowed pets and the pet fee was reasonable.

The Best Western Waukesha Grand was a good place to stay on a recent trip to Wisconsin. Hotel was reasonably priced, clean, friendly staff, offered breakfast in the morning--simply had an all around good experience!

The location is super-convenient to I-94. But we found the beds uncomfortable, the room too cramped and the front desk “first impression” staff short on smiles and friendliness. The rooms were clean but dated. Breakfasts are starchy.

We have stayed at this location on other trips to Milwaukee area. We have always had a good night's stay. Location just off the interstate allows for easy access. The property has always been clean and a good value for our stays.

The hotel and refund were very clean which is important to me. The beds are very comfortable, the linens smelled fresh and clean, crisp. We both feel asleep within minutes of getting in bed and slept well for a good 8-9 hours! That really happens for us in a hotel. The hotel appeared to be pretty full but it was quiet. The room cooled off quickly with our cooling system in the room, which we love for sleep. We would definitely stay here again based on this experience.

We checked in Thursday and checked out Sunday morning. Overall the hotel was great, comfortable beds, great breakfast, microwave and mini fridge. The room was a little dated and could use a deep clean including walls. Our bathroom sink didn't drain very well. Other than that our stay was great.

This hotel is perfect for families like mine. Breakfast included and a pool are why we chose it. It was lean and comfortable. The person tending to our room the first part of our week was thorough. The person after that, not so much. They only made the beds and did not replace any towels or cups. They also forgot to give us a new ice bucket liner and toilet paper. We were sick of going to the desk so we went to the Dollar Store. Also, watch the refrigerator. We bought milk for the week and it froze. We tried several settings. It seems like it's freezing or off. Thank God the wine and beer were not as affected.

The location was ideal for our needs and the price was very reasonable. The breakfast was typical of chain hotels, and the staff kept it well-stocked. Staff was pleasant, efficient, and accommodating.

Rooms very comfortable and clean, great coffee and all the amenities for a light breakfast in the breakfast room were enough to get you started on the road again. The location is great, restaurant and bar in walking distance from the hotel.

The room was clean and comfortable, we stayed for 5 days. The breakfast is good, but it's the same breakfast everyday, so it got boring. The staff was nice, however, if your low on items like towels or toliet paper, they don't bring it up to your room, you have to go downstairs to the front desk to get it. Overall it was worth the money.

Place is dated. Was not impressed. Room could have been cleaner. Pictures look nice but place is pretty beat up. Door broke while we were there had to walk around and tub drain needed to be cleaned out it didn't drain properly. Very loud with traffic going by at night. Have stayed at hotels near the freeway before but this place had little soundproofing if any. Suspect most of the good reviews on here are fake from what we saw.

We stay here at least twice a month...staff are always friendly and helpful. Hotel is always very clean. Breakfast is good..gets a little crowded sometimes in the dining area, but nothing that can be done about that with all of the people who stay there. But there is always plenty of food available, never have to wait very long for anything to be refilled.

My room had ants in the bathroom. No hot water. Not enough water pressure to flush a kleenex. Outlets did not work.Mattress so old. Was like sleeping standing on your head. Had to get my sleeping bag and sleep on the floor. Did not unpack because of the ants. Bought bug spray and sprayed the room down good. When complained about the room. the response was. Yea that's how they are.Never stay here. You are throwing your money away. And the management does not care

Did you mention any of this during your stay, while you were still here? If you had, we would have had no problem at all moving you to a new room. We did go in after you left to check on the ant problem you mentioned. We did not find any ants at all in the room, and back in March it was too cold yet for ants. It is rather odd that you said there was ants all over, but yet you slept on the floor. As far as the Kleenex, you shouldn't be flushing those down the toilet anyways, it's bad for the plumbing!! The outlets do work, you need to have the light switch on by the entry door for the top outlets to work. They are set up that way so when you enter the room you can turn on the lights right there, and you don't have to get out of bed to turn them off when you want to go to sleep. And yes....we DO care. If you had mentioned this while you were here, and not after you left, we could have accommodated you.

The room was not bad bit they to pay close attention to the repairs of the room other wise the stay was good for the price I hope that next time that I stay there will different in a good way they have to do minor repairs

There are much quieter and better hotels down the road. This and the extended stay are the worst I have come across when traveling in the area. Prepared to get ripped off and your card illegally charged for extras. Here are 10 reasons you should skip spending a night here. First ) It's by the airport, freeway and a busy street. Will be bombarded with jets taking off/landing, sirens from Police, Fire trucks, EMS day and night. Second ) The fire alarm went off early morning here due to someone burning toast downstairs. Forced jump out of bed and run downstairs. Why would a system allow for something so simple to result in having to evacuate the whole building? Third ) Was charged a $1 Per night room Safe fee. I didn't use the safe nor request one. Like it or not you'll be paying a little extra for nothing as they sneak it on the bill. It won't show-up online with all the regular taxes and fees when you book. Fourth ) Parking is limited. Fifth ) The toilet, as some other reviews point out, will splash out when flushed. Have to jump back or risk getting baptized with your own urine. Your lucky if they even clean it. See pics. Sixth ) Cleanliness of the room is poor. Rug was very dirty. Kept my shoes by the bed as have no idea last time the rugs were cleaned. Kleenex stuffed behind the mattress, dirty toilet (pictured) and long hairs in the room looks like it hadn't been cleaned either. Clearly the sheets where not changed on the second bed in the room. Prepare to have to go back down and recheck to another room when you see just how dirty they leave the newly cleaned room you checked in to. Seventh ) Very, very cheap pillows. The throw pillows on the couch at my house offered more support. Eight ) Loud cleaning staff. Never stayed at a place that lets the cleaning staff watch TV while cleaning. Cranking it up so it can be heard in the hallway. Also in the room across from the one being cleaned with the door open. Might explain the poor job they do. The yelling in the hallway by the staff isn't very much appreciated and is unnecessary. Nine ) Think moving to the back of the hotel would limit the noise from the airport and freeway ? Nope! Plan on waking up at 4 AM if your there on garbage day. Lucky you they get the recyclables on the following morning at the same time. Count two days of loud dumpster banging and truck backing up beeping to rouse you from a peaceful slumber. Don't even have to set an alarm. Number Ten ) The best part of the stay is you never have to tip the cleaning staff. The hotel takes care of it for you. If you leave out any cans, wrappers or bags not in the garbage you will get hit with a $50 "room cleaning fee". Not trashing the room mind you. Just leaving them out on a desk or next to the garbage can. That's right if you don't do the maids job expect to find an extra charge on your credit card. No call, no email or notification. They sneak it on hoping you won't notice.

Mr Stone....this will be the LAST time you ever stay in our hotel. Please don't come back, if you do you will be refused a room. We have bent over backwards to help you, and literally RUN to try to please you. It took three housekeepers three hours to clean your room after you departed!! That is why you were charged the $50 cleaning fee, which should have been $150 for the effort we had to put in to get it back to rent-able condition. The room was blocked for 4 days because of the smell, and that was AFTER the carpet cleaning we had to do. You posted pictures....our walls are not white, that picture was not taken here. The picture of the toilet, that's not even what our toilets look like, you didn't take that picture here either. As far as your noise complaints...if it's so noisy here why do you keep coming back to stay and you stay for 3 or 4 nights each time? The hotel is by an airport, you will hear planes on occasion. We are right next to the expressway, which is why you hear police sirens, firetrucks and ambulances. You ALWAYS request a specific room, which is on the opposite end of our dumpster area. The $1 safe fee....we remove that if you request it. And yes....you DID trash the room.

Stayed here for a soccer tournament in town. Complimentary breakfast was quick and good. Beds were comfortable. The room was clean upon arrival. I would stay here again if traveling here again in the future.

Very nice Motel, clean and comfortable. Friendly and helpful staff, very good value. Great breakfast, plenty of options that were fresh and hot, breakfast area was kept nice and clean. Room had plenty of room, was comfortable and clean.

This is a very nice hotel with a winning staff. Kellie the manager greeted me at my car and immediately assisted me with my oxygen tank and luggage. She pushed them in the room and quickly plugged it in.The bed and pillows are comfortable, I don't have to bring one from home. The breakfast is abundant with various breads, waffles, oatmeal, biscuits and gravy, cereal, etc.

Messed up my reservations. Hotel could have been cleaner. Room was nice. The breakfast was good. The hallways where dirty, should have been vacuumed. the first night the front desk person wasn't very helpful. Pool area didn't have enough towels out for the swimmer.

We stayed for two straight weeks in this hotel and they never changed our bedsheets once. The water pressure was very weak. They charged an extra $1 per day for a “safe fee”. To me this should have been on the initial reservation. It's only $14 but it's the point of planning on a certain amount then upon checkout there's a hidden fee. Breakfast was ok. The room was also not very clean, dusty, etc. Lots of noise at night and people were smoking weed multiple nights on our floor. I would never go back to this faculty unless it was the absolute only option available.

Your room did not get cleaned every day because you had a 'Do Not Disturb' sign on your door for some of your stay. Staff is instructed to not bother anyone that has that sign up, or enter their room. If you had mentioned that you had trouble with low water pressure while you were here we could have addressed the issue and either fix it or move you to a different room for the remainder of your stay. We can't help if we aren't aware of any problems.

The hotel itself has the appearance of being very dated but its clean and comfortable - it does have a small fitness room but the equipment is very old and not working very well. When i received my bill there is now a mandatory charge for having a safe in your room !!! - even if you dont use it you must pay for the fact that it is there !!!! - this was not mentioned at check in or booking and it seems they are trying to advertise the room at a lower cost than you actually pay. Apparently this is now Best Western policy - so next time i will go elsewhere. No salt was used on the car park during snow - other business around them had fully cleared car park but it was a struggle to get out of the hotel car park and onto better roads

Stayed here for the night because we were in Waukesha for a party. The hotel was super clean, our room was awesome (we got a room with the in room spa tub) We did utilize the pool and hot tub. The free breakfast was great, nice options from waffles, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cereal, fruit, etc. We also went to the sports bar right next door for drinks and dinner; they had great food, live music and a fun bartender. We definitely will stay here again if we are in the area!

We had to pack up our things and leave from the first room we had. There was no hot water, the plastic piece off the tub faucet fell right into our hands, the roof and walls showed obvious signs of water damage that was spray painted over the top, stains on the carpeting, and the bed had two slumps on each side. The was also a lot of damage done to the outside fridge, counters and mirror frames. Due to no hot water we had to repack our things and move to another room that had cob webs coming from the ceiling to the wall over the bed, the water pressure was slow letting and by the residue left on the tub I can assume there is no water softner in the motel. Their is cable but no movie channels. The breakfast was nothing but pure sugar dried cereal, waffles (gosh knows what's in the batter), one kind of fruit-bananas, powdered eggs, gravy, and sausage. That's about it! A diabetic could eat nothing here for breakfast. I was very disappointed in my experience. The lack of quality, maintenance of the rooms, and cleanliness along with low quality food will keep me from ever coming back. For what you pay it's not worth it. I will send some pictures if I can but cob webs are hard to capture in lighting.

A very clean, friendly place to stay. We are always greeted with a smile. Have stayed here several times a year for the past eight or nine years and have never had a problem. Fast check in and always willing to make any changes you request if at all possible.

This hotel is very nice and the fact that it takes dogs is fabulous, it's close to our kids and we lived in Waukesha for 20 years and our family and friends have stayed and liked it. We would recommend it to others

The hotel and accommodations were as expected, good value, low thrills. I checked my statement a couple weeks after my stay, and saw a $250 charge. I called the hotel and was informed of a smoking charge from my room. I have never, and will never smoke a cigarette, so this couldn't be true. The manager couldn't have been more unhelpful, just re-stating the hotel policy of no smoking over and over. (I wasn't disputing policy, I was disputing that there were cigarette butts in the room) I ended up having to work with the credit card company to get the charge removed.

We had a room block of 15 rooms and at least 3 of them were not cleaned when we checked in (well after the check in time). Since the hotel was fully booked and it was late, we had no option but to keep the (dirty) rooms.

Needed to stay due to car repair, and the staff was very helpful, caring and professional in addressing our concerns. Beautiful facility, outstanding staff, and very nice rooms with excellent beds. Breakfast was excellent--hot as should be, cold as necessary.

I really enjoyed my time at the Best Western of Waukesha. It was centrally located for my conference at the Eagles Club and everyone was so accommodating. I really did enjoy the breakfast and the fact that coffee was available at all hours. I would definitely return to this Best Western. The staff were terrific.

I stayed one night on my way to meetings in Milwaukee. I was just 20 miles from downtown area so travel was reasonable. Accept various discount rates, government rates. Clean comfortable rooms, good breakfast with cold and hot options. Staff was professional and helpful.

Wanted a night away at a place with a pool and hot tub. Both were good at this hotel. One thing I would recommend is to consolidate the signage for the rules in the pool area. When one sign says "no glass bottles" and in another part of the room is posted "no food or drink", it seems a bit contradictory. Also, advice to the parents of the kids who liked to do cannonballs into the pool and screamed incessantly for no apparent reason, keep your brats at home next time! Other than that, beds were comfortable and breakfast included a good variety and good quality food.

I like hotels that have breakfast included in your stay, but I love hotels that include a free HOT breakfast. It's so nice to just come down to the lobby and grab something hot for breakfast. Feels like I am at home - except no dishes to clean up. Oh yeah, and the 24/7 coffee, loved it!

Room was nice, clean, comfortable. Pool was clean. Didn't eat breakfast or use fitness center. We were there for Carroll University homecoming weekend. Took the college kids out for breakfast elsewhere. Found a nice trail 8 minutes away for a 3-mile run. Actual location so so, but nice hotel stay. Really the closest hotel to the university with the best rates. I would stay here again.

I stayed for 3 nights for work in the area. I had absolutely no complaints. The room was spacious and clean. The hotel was quiet despite being near a highway and a busy intersection and construction sites. The breakfast was delicious and had a great variety of foods. The bed was extremely comfortable and I slept better than I expected. Overall, it was a great stay.

Went to family reunion. Comfortable room. Excellent breakfast. Great service. Will stay over again. Right off the interstate. The check in and check out were effortless. Plenty of parking for everyone.

We have stayed at the BW Grand several times and had a nice stay. It is a good value for the price of the room. Service was good, breakfast was nice - typical hotel breakfast. We will definitely stay there again.

For the most part, this place as OK. Staff was friendly. Appearance of facility was good. Location was good. Biggest complaint was cleanliness of room. Bathroom was not cleaned properly and there was hair in the beds.

A fine visit, good breakfast, comfortable room. Computers in the Business Center did not work. The location was great for the activities we had in mind and we were within walking distance of restaurants and shopping.

We stayed here for three nights in September, 2018. The room was large and very clean. We used the pool and hot tub which were very clean and warm. I used the exercise room several days in a row. The exercise room has one treadmill, one elliptical and one exercise bike. It is small but clean and useable. The breakfast area was very clean and they restocked continually. The front desk staff worked to get us a room for extra nights when we had a family emergency. We walked our dog every morning and night and the area is safe. The room had a fridge and microwave. We stayed in the room next to the exit and we never heard anything. This was a good place to stay.

The staff was great. Bed was great. Good location off the highway with food in walking distance. We were on a motorcycle to attend an event in the Milwaukee area. They set up a tent with water, soap, buckets, sponges, rasgs and chamois. It was fantastic. Would stay again.

Rooms small but nice, some of staff friendly. Elevator SLOW. Breakfast is as expected. Bathtub extremely slick so be very VERY careful. We had to have a mat because no bars in tub. Could have gotten better rates on line. Walls thin can hear everything thru THE WALLS!!!!!!

I have stay here several times before and this has been the most disappointing visit. I planned a mini trip for the state fair with my family. First, problem i when to dinner and returned my key card didnt work. The night staff did fix that but, the toilet in my room didnt work. i had to go down to the lobby to use the bathroom. When I brought this the attention to the staff at the desk about the problem they thanked me but didnt brother to fix the problem or give me a different room and/ or refund a little of my money. I doubt i will return, again.

Noisy fridge, noisy toilet, bathroom door wouldn't close. Curtains on closet instead of doors. Could here people across the hall speaking. We paid Agodga for a king suite with a whirlpool and I had a printed confirmation but they would not honor it. Very disappointed.

Staff is friendly and accomodating. Breakfast is okay, they follow corporate and serve scrambled eggs and sausage daily. Previous years I had bacon once or twice, but not this time. Dining area is clean, coffee is always available. Room was nice. Next to elevator but not noisy at all. Clean, bathroom was spotless, big screen tv, comfy bed, lots of pillows. No closet in this room but wardrobe was plenty big for my clothes and luggage. Friendly housekeeping staff too. Pool was clean, lots of towels. I always stay here when I am in town.

Just what we needed for an overnight in the area. Nothing fancy but affordable, comfortable, friendly & helpful staff. Complete filling breakfast and physical fitness facilities ( inc. pool) to stretch after a day on the road.

We stayed at the Best Western Waukesha Grand for one night while we were attending a dog show at the Expo Center. The hotel is conveniently located off an interstate exit and about 1.5 miles from the fairgrounds. There is a bar/grill next door (walking distance) and a couple of fast food chain restaurants a very short drive away. The hotel lobby is bright and newly remodeled. The breakfast area was adequate with the usual Best Western fare. Our room needed some minor maintenance and carpet cleaning. We will stay here again next year.

Needed hotel for one night on route to Oshkosh. Beds were comfortable. Lots of sockets for plugging in equipment. Could have used some USB ports. Bathroom well equipped. Shower walls could have used a better scrub, some marks and hairs left on them. That was our only complaint. The rest of the room and beds were clean. Breakfast was the standard free buffet fare, quick and adequate.

I am always telling people I know about this hotel....it is always very clean, the people are wonderful and the amenities are great. We have never had any major issues and whatever the problem had been, was taken care of quickly and efficiently by the front desk staff. We always enjoy our stay here.

Hotel was very clean. The beds were very comfortable and the bedding was soft. The room was quiet (no hallway noise or adjoining room noise). The temperature was easy to control in the room. The breakfast had a wide variety of options.

This isn't the greatest Best Western I've stayed at but it was decent. Breakfast was average and the rooms were nice. The main desk was very friendly. Would I stay here again? Maybe, the cleanliness wasn't up to my standards but it wasn't dirty by any means.

This hotel is very nice and reasonable. Great location, attractive public rooms, comfortable and spacious bedrooms and bathrooms, attentive service, good breakfasts and comfortable bed. I stay here every week and prefer it over any other hotel in the area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

We took our great-grandson to visit the Milwaukee County Zoo. We sent half the day walking around and seeing all the animals at the zoo. We had to change our dates at the last minute. Fortunately I talked with Kellie at the Best Western Waukesha Grand and she was very helpful and handled the change for us and we were still able to get adjoining rooms. Thanks again to Kellie!

Nice hotel we stayed there to check out Les Pauls home town. The town was under construction. The Best Western was an average Best Western the employees were very friendly. We upgraded to a Jacuzzi room for my husband knee and back but didnt need to they had a wonderful and much more powerful whirlpool in pool area.

This hotel is priced right for the area. Lots of stores close by if you need something while traveling. Close to the interstate. Nice variety at breakfast.Very clean room and friendly staff. Pool was chilly and hot tub not so hot, but were clean. Need to ask about bonus points or snacks.

Stayed here for a work conference which was actually held at a nearby hotel. If the hotel was called simply the Best Western Waukesha, I would not complain. Adding GRAND in is completely unnecessary. It is nothing more than a regular old Best Western. The lobby is fine, clean. Nothing to knock your socks off. The room was a simple first floor one queen bed room. View was a parking lot. Decor a bit dated. But it was clean. The pool area is pleasant. Breakfast okay, Like I said, an average hotel. NOT GRAND. Just not necessary to add in "Grand" -- that's all I really have to say about this hotel. Not grand.

Stayed here a number of times. Have had good service from the staff, always pleased. Will likely stay again when in the area. Close to places we like to go such as family, shopping and good places to eat.

The hotel itself didn't seem very clean. The elevator buttons had grease on them that remained there for 24 hours. The decor was fine, the beds comfortable. I had issues with check out and a credit that was not posted to my bill. After being on hold twice with corporate (the hotel couldn't do anything they said), the final time for 30 minutes, I was told they were having technical difficulties and would call back. They never did. If corporate is so messed up, I'm not interested in this brand.

I have stayed here in the past and didn't have problems but this time there was a lot of people smoking in the non smoking rooms and a lot of loud noise up to midnight on one of my nights, very disappointing.

This is not where we usually stay when visiting family in the area, but another relative with pets was staying there so we gave it a try. When you first enter the hotel lobby, it is extremely, beautiful decorated. Accommodations in the room were fantastic and very comfortable. The Staff takes the time to get to know you by name and takes care of you like family.

Just what I needed at a reasonable price. Check in was fast, in spite of the fact that I did not book in advance. Overall, I was very satisfied with all aspects of my stay here. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you need a place in Waukesha.

All of the staff that we encounter very professional and courteous. Our room was very well decorated and clean. I cannot recall ever staying at a Best Western but will consider it in the future when we travel. My only negative thought was the amount of unattended children and their behaviors. I think it would have been appropriate for these staff to correct these children's Behavior as to not affect other guest service.

This is my second stay to this location. From the outside, it doesn't look like much but when you stay there toy will be pleasantly surprised. The rooms are smaller but very clean, fresh, and spacious for the room size. Beds are very comfortable. Breakfast was free and was a step above the average free breakfast. You had all the normal things....cold cereal, make your own waffle, pastries, and some hot breakfast stuff. What was amazing about the hot breakfast items was that it was fresh tasting. It didn't taste like it had been reheated or had been sitting out. I got seconds after about 30 minutes and it was just as delicious. They have a pool and hot tub which looked clean and well maintained although I didn't enjoy it this trip. The only complaint I had....and it's a reach....was the low flow shower head. It took longer to take a shower which was far from a problem. Definitely a well kept secret of you are looking for a nice, basic place to stay. Also, the staff was amazingly helpful.

The man at the reception desk was super nice and informative. Room is clean.Bedding looks inviting. Bathroom is clean and well stocked. Easy clean remote which I am thankful for as I wipe the touchables down with Sani wipes. Pool is simple and clean. Great for our quick stay ! If the elevator was quicker this would be 5 stars.

Overall very satisfied. A little noise at & A.M. in the hallway with the children even though we were on the top floor. Could be a bigger breakfast area and food choices. Very friendly check in staff. Good location for dinner restaurants.

Generally excellent, only a few small items of note (no shaving cream Sunday morning and no offer for a portable breakfast item just after breakfast closed and eventually a regrout will be needed in the bathroom at the base of the shower) that could be improved. For the rate it is a 9/10!!

The promoter got a special rate which Helped the vendors save a little money when doing a show out of town.Hotel was clean and the breakfast was early that I can actually enjoy it. In which most hotels have a later breakfast, I usually have to stop fast food on the way to the show.

We've stayed twice at the Best Western Grand. The staff is friendly, the rooms are nice, the beds are comfortable, the pool and hot tub were good, the breakfast was excellent. Very affordable. We will stay there again.

I highly recommend this clean, comfortable hotel. The people are extremely nice and courteous. In the morning they have a full breakfast until 9:30. It was delicious. The room is attractive and room. The internet worked. The best part for me were the pillows. They have soft and medium hard pillows. Slept like a log. Nice swimmomg pool, hot tub and workout room. I choose this hotel when I need to stay in Waueska.

I was still suffering a little from jet lag after a flight from the UK and when I was dropped at this hotel I knew it was going to be a great stay. The room was clean and comfortable with all the usual amenities and the reception staff person was most helpful. I had an excellent dinner at a nearby restaurant only 200 metres or so from the hotel. After a good nights sleep I found the free breakfast of fine quality with superb coffee. I would certainly recommend this hotel to others.

Comfortable, nice rooms. Staff is very friendly as well. Everything looks clean and the breakfast area looks nice. They are currently redoing the tile in the hotel but it looks very nice. I would stay here again but would check priceline due to finding a cheaper rate after booking through hotels.com

I only stayed for 1 night on business, but the staff was very attentive, the breakfast was good and the location was convenient to area businesses and tech parks. Access to internet was somewhat lacking, mainly with handheld, but that was the only issue.

The mattress was very bad. It kept pushing me to the middle and was very lumpy. Check-in was good and efficient.WIFI was good and the room was ok. The water in the shower was very soft and had difficulty getting the soap off me.

breakfast was exceptional but the room just gave off poor vibes like it didn't seem like it was cleaned very good. I don't know that I would stay at this location again...I don't like to complain so I wouldn't want to bother with that

I was so disappointed with this stay, not my first, but will be my last!! I was never informed, when making reservation, or nothing mentioned on web site, that the hotel pool and jacuzzi was closed!! The only reason I came was to to enjoy some rest, and relax at the pool and jacuzzi!! The outside door entranes were taped up( no entry), ice machine was broken!I asked for one of their jacuzzi rooms after I realized, after checking in and finding evrything was closed. but was refused a jacuzzi room. I was told NO discount!! Adios, Never Again!!

I'm sorry that you did not enjoy your stay, but thought I would fill you in on a couple of things. Back when you made your reservation we did not know that we would be retiling the floor around the pool and hot tub. There are many factors we have to consider when doing a job like that. One major one is ground temperature. Of course we cannot close the pool during the summer, our busiest time. We need to do this type of job before the ground freezes, and when our tiling crew is available. I'm sorry that you could not swim or use the hot tub during your stay, but we did have a memo posted at check-in, and we were allowing guests to cancel at no charge if they wished. The reason the outside entrances were taped off is because we tiled those areas too and we needed the tile to set before anyone could walk on it. We also had to tile the floors in the whirlpool rooms which is why they were not available for rent. I'm sorry that it didn't work out for you this time, but we tiled those areas to make them look nice for our guests. If we didn't keep things neat, clean, and updated would you continur to stay with us? Probably not.

Ive stayed here a few times before, just to get away from downtown , relax, and enjoy the hot tub & pool!! This time without being notified when making reservation, or not mention on web site, I was very disappointed to find out after checking in, the pool & hot tub was closed!! The outside doors were taped up ( no entrance), ice machine was broken. So my trip was ruined!! I asked for the jacuzzi room, but was refused!! My last trip here!!

I stay here every week for business and have never considered staying anywhere else. Great location close enough to Milwaukee for all of the events but far enough away to avoid the crowds. The staff are all friendly and attentive, the rooms are always clean room and the beds are very comfortable.

We stayed at the BW three nights for a wedding and also had to make reservations for several handicapped individuals. Kelly was most helpful in seeing that these guests were comfortable with their stay and having their needs met. She did a great job in giving us the planning assistance we needed. We enjoyed the breakfasts each day and those staff members attending to that area were also phenomenal! Unfortunately we were too busy to use the pool or workout room, but we checked them out anyways just to see what we were missing!! They were being enjoyed by others. Our room was very clean and the maids were attentive to our requests. The halls and exit area could use some updating/freshening.

This hotel is in the middle of everything, shopping, restaurants, grocery store, gas station, etc. I recommend Spring City restaurant, best bbq chicken wrap and onion rings iv'e ever had! Our room was clean and had all the amenities we needed. The elevator is a tad bit slow, but we didn't mind.

This BW offers clean, updated rooms with all necessary amenities at a great value. The beds are very comfortable for a relaxing,quiet night's sleep. The breakfast offers a wide variet of foods including a self-cook waffle station. Items are constantly refreshed and restocked. The staff we encountered was very friendly, professional and helpful!

We were very upset that there was NO mention of the additional pet policy that we could not leave our dog in the room when we lest the hotel, even though he was in a cage. It ruined out weekend and we decided to leave a day early because we were so upset.

Most guests get rather upset when they are in a room next to a room where our guests have a dog and that dog barks constantly for hours because the guests left the dog alone in the room. If you had booked your reservation directly with the hotel we would have told you that at the time that you booked, but you booked through an online travel agent. If you clicked on where it says 'pet policy' you would have seen the rules regarding our pet policy, or if you called us ahead of time with any questions we could have cleared that up for you. Called several times to discuss extra charge on our credit card, spoke with the manager "Kelly" on 08/29/17 1:05pm, 08/31/17 11:25am, 09/06/17 1:20pm, left message for her 09/18/17 3:00pm, each time she was going to check with the owner to see if we could receive refund for a "no show" when our employee was actually in another room at their hotel-oversight on our part; however, each time she said she would talk to the owner as we had stayed with them multiple times and spent a great deal of money at their establishment, would be a repeat customer courtesy. She would never call back and followup or have an answer. She had no idea what I was talking about every time I called her. Talked to her again on 10/4/17 9:30am and she still didn't have an answer or know what I was talking about. Then said owner said no to refund, then said she hadn't heard back from him and that is why she has not responded to my numerous calls? Let her know that she should not tell customers she is going to do something if she has no intention of following through on her words. Thanked her for her time and she hung up on me. Not so much about the $100.00, more about being unprofessional and rude.

Regardless of reviews regarding hotel that I stay with I believe every one has bit of different experience. I will add here the appreciation to the entire staff everyone was very helpful from making reservation on the last minute to giving me room on the 1st floor to helping me with a choice of a nice resturant. I would like to compliment your entire staff for being so professional. With smile on their faces, they have been really very impressive in their service. And I would like to revisit your hotel for this outstanding experience.

Check is was smooth, Beds were very comfortable, the hot tub and pool area was clean. The breakfast was delicious, they kept up on restocking as an extended family was staying for a wedding and took up the entire breakfast area, they offered other areas for us to enjoy our breakfast.

This is my favorite hotel to stay at when I'm in the area. Main lobby area is very nicely decorated, staff is very good, and friendly. The rooms are nice, and beds are very comfortable. The continental breakfast has a wide variety of items, and is very good.

Our room was clean and the staff was friendly. The breakfast area was very crowded because the hotel was at capacity. Breakfast attendants were very good about keeping food available. We had dogs with us and were given a first floor room. There were several places to walk the dogs behind the hotel. The only complaint we have is that the upstairs neighbors were easily heard.

I really like the area that the hotel is in. The staff that we interacted with were friendly and helpful. The area is nice with good food and entertainment within walking distance. I would definitely come back.

The new upgrades to this hotel make it look fresh and appealing. Staff is friendly, breakfast has many choices, and the location is perfect--close to highways, Milwaukee, and other fun cities. There is an indoor pool and hot tub, which are smallish, but did the job for what we wanted. The only negative I would say is our room had a view of a wall, but I wasn't there for the view. We needed a place to sleep while we took advantage of what all the Milwaukee area has to offer.

Good value for your bucks. Conveniently located near the highway and inside a mall, with plenty of options. Relatively affordable. There's a nice swimming pool and hot bath, although the whole space is a little too warm. We could have used more help from one person in the sfatt (with the crib and luggage) but overall pretty friendly and helpful staff. A sign says dairy free options are available at breakfast, but as far as we could tell there were few or not clearly labelled.

We were visiting our granddaughter who attends UWWaukesha We were there to see her play volleyball and this hotel was very convenient to her and the school. Amenities, services, room and breakfast were great. We will stay there again when we visit.

The stay as always was good but the bath tub in the Handicap room could be much lower for easier access. The coffee in the room is good but the coffee in the breakfast area is bad and bitter so they should have the same coffee as in the rooms.

The staff were attentive and friendly. The pool water was very cold and really not "heated" to much. To cold for my husband and I to go swimming. The whirlpool was a much better experience, the timer button is a bit far from the whirlpool, but that is a minor complaint. We had our dog with us and had no trouble with staff having a pet room.

Had a great experience all-around here. Decided to stay overnight after spending the day at Mukwanugo county park with friends. Again, Best Western did not let us down! Room clean, bed and pillows comfy. Felt safe. Quiet, even with a full house. No problem having our dog, either. Evening manager was busy, but stayed helpful and organized. Helped us out with a small problem and said he would be filing a maintenance check for the next day. Parking lot uses every possible bit of space to its best advantage on a small piece of property.

We had a cancellation in our group, BW staff were great to change reservations and help us out. Room was quiet and very nice. We had some difficulties with the A/C and we got the solution very quickly. Very clean room, comfy beds. We really did appreciate the location for our events. We did have a bit of confusion at checkout as we split the room but it was taken care quite efficiently.

I was in town for an event and the location of the hotel was ideal. Check-in staff person was very nice. There are also restaurants and a bar/grill nearby. The room was nice, bed comfortable, and the plumbing worked well (always important). Breakfast was average but typical of this standard of hotel. I had no major issues and would come back.

The people at the front desk were very nice and explained everything. The lobby looked nice. The kind bed was very comfortable. When I went to take a shower, I grabbed one towels and undid it and found two BROWN stains that WERE NOT mine. I was disgusted afterwards I couldn't use any of the other towels because I didn't trust it. Good thing I brought a towel with. I tried to watch a movie with the wifi and it was not very good and very slow. Also at check out the front desk women was very nice.

This place is amazing not a single complaint. well, the elevator is slow but thats not enough to ruin the experience. I went with two friends and my significant other and they even put our rooms right across from each other.

I was in the area for an extended time period for my job. Able to get reasonable price. Staff was friendly and helpful. Rooms were a good size so that I didn't feel closed in. Staff always greeted me when I came and left the motel. It was located close to the place where I was working. Also close to places like Walgreens a small strip mall and some restaurants.

We had a good night, but our primary reason for the stay was to use the pool. It was a bit too cool for the males to enjoy. We sat poolside and used the hot tub. The shower had a leaky head, that sprayed water about. The sound levels were pretty good, and the room was comfortable. The fridge and microwave were nice items to have available.

Good hotel to stay in Hartland, WI area. Good amenities and good location near highway. But they can improve elevator service. It took long time to wait for an elevator. Otherwise, no issues with this hotel.

We went there because of a nightly rate given to us. Come to find out they jack up the rate if you have 4 people (even though the room is two queen beds). We were woken up by a fire alarm at 6:30 in the morning. When we went down to breakfast, we waited 20 minutes for the hot food to come out and then it was immediately gone again. When we finally did eat the food, it was terrible. The bacon tasted like paper and the eggs were terrible. The breakfast staff never said a word about anything to us.

This hotel is conveniently located off of the expressway 94 in Pewaukee/Waukesha, WI. The front desk was welcoming and very helpful in answering questions. I was traveling by myself headed to a work reunion. The room was super clean, great amenities. They had a hot tub and pool, which unfortunately did not have time to take advantage of. There was a continental breakfast, which was great. I asked if I could leave my rental car there for the rest of the day, as I was being picked up by friends for the event. No problem. I would definitely go back when I'm in the area.

We had two guest rooms. Both were similar, clean, comfortable beds. our sleep was interrupted a few times by a noisy semi truck with a cooling system running close to our room Breakfast was presented well with several choices. Good Value for the purpose of our trip which was planned as a leisure trip.

East access to highway. Clean and quiet room. Walking distance shopping and food. OK breakfast. Some bright decor would make it more cheerful, as the colors were a bit drab. Carpeting is clean, but nearing end of use.

The hotel is in a good location for the activities we do and family that we visit. Great restaurant almost next door. Good breakfast at the hotel. Rooms are clean & quiet. Staff is very friendly. Have stayed here several times before.

Rooms were very nice. Staff was very courteous and prompt with requests. It was a little tricky finding the entrance to the motel as it is set back from the main road a ways. Large selection of breakfast items and they were quickly replenished when there was a large rush.

Guy that checked me in offered 2 queen rooms, one on 3rd floor another on 1st. Took 1st and it smelled like smoke. Went back and asked for 3rd floor and even though no one else had checked in tried to put me in a king with a roller bed. Had to profusely argue until he gave me the 3rd floor queen

The reason you were offered a king and a rollaway upon wanting to switch rooms was because you were in the first room for a bit before you decided that you wanted to switch, we were full that evening, and our housekeepers had left so there was nobody available to clean the first room that you were in. We had a cancellation for a king room and it was the only extra room that we had available, so that it why it was offered to you. If we didn't have to clean the first room you were in because of occupancy, we could have checked someone else into it and offered you another two queen room. I'm sorry for any inconvenience and I hope the rest of your vacation was a success.

We choose the "Best Western Waukesha Grand, Pewaukee, WISCONSIN" hotel for a reasonable lower priced, one-night stay after an evening ball game at Miller Park. The hotel is about 15 miles directly west of the ball park on I-94, so a very easy drive in/out for a game. Overall I found this property to be reasonably well maintained; it is a small-ish property with an equally small (one-way traffic around the building) parking lot. The room was clean and comfortable with a better than average sized fridge and a microwave. No issues with any traffic noise or other sleep challenges. In general what you would expect from a entry-level BW property. Breakfast service is also what you would expect, waffles, oats, sausage, eggs, muffins, pastry, fruit, yogurt, coffee, juice, milk, etc. During our stay (1st Fl - Rm 109) we had a slight musty smell in the room which may have been to the severe rainfall over the prior 2-3 weeks. Try a 2nd floor room.

This is a clean and comfortable hotel with a friendly staff. We stayed because we were attending the Waukesha County Fair. The fairgrounds are about a mile away and there are a lot of restaurants in the area. It is also right off the expressway which was convenient.

Check in was smooth. Room was a bit cramped but clean. Plastic patch around shower. Bath tile installed with gaps an defects. Breakfast was was busy but good. The breakfast staff person was really hustling. Getting to the parking lot and navigating the parking lot was a challenge for our small SUV. Hot tub not working Friday Saturday Sunday Monday. Disappointing because it is one amenity we like to use when traveling. Staff did discount our stay for the inconvenience.

Reserved a room here because it was close to our destination and was at a reasonable price compared to the others in the area. The room was comfortable with no issues with AC/heat, TV, large refrigerator, cleanliness, etc...

My husband and I stayed here while in town for a wedding. While the location isn't very scenic, we found it to be a convenient home base for the Waukesha area. We often stay in Best Westerns and this one met our expectations-- clean and comfy. Also, we found it to be a bargain compared to other hotels in the area. We were very satisfied.

I typically look for BW hotels when possible as I know what to expect, they are typically reasonably priced, and the rewards system does add up. This was no exception. The hotel was clean and comfortable. Staff were pleasant and efficient. The breakfast is the same as any other BW, providing a nice mix of hot and cold items. I can't say anything was exceptional, but no problems either.

Nice hotel for the money. You can see they are continuing to make upgrades. No real complaints but would note it is easy to see from the highway but since the entrance is in a strip mall parking lot it is a little difficult to get to until you realize how the parking lot is set up. I will stay here again.

Carpet in hallway was wet, sticky and musty smelling. The maintenance stance effort to fix it just made my stay worse with noise that lasted through the night into the morning and blew the smell into my room.

some updates done, newer tile floor and décor. Needs All carpeting replaced as it was heavy staining in the hallways. Nice pool and hot Tub. Beds very comfortable.. was told the mattresses had just been replaced. Rate was good , under $100.00 weeknight for 2 queen beds. 20-25 minutes to downtown Milwaukee during non rush hour.

The stay at this hotel worked out nice to go to the Milwaukee Brewer game. It was neat and clean for family activities. A group of teen baseball players and basketball players stayed. All were quiet and respectable and well chaperoned. I would recommend it as a great place to stay for the price paid.

Title says it all!! Never stayed at a place that was like this and certain employee thinks he was above the law. Besides that the continental breakfast was good and rooms were quite but no ice machines on all floors

Very comfy bed, good location. Good restaurant next door makes it very convenient to grab a bite to eat and bring it back to hotel. They accept pets which makes it very convenient for us. The hotel staff doesn't slam doors and wake you up in the morning. Love the convenience of a fridge and microwave in the room. I think this hotel offers very good value for the money and we will definitely stay here again.

Great value and location. With Summerfest and limited hotel options the Best Western had both a great price and availability. Breakfast was fine and highway access easy. Can use park and ride to easily get to Summerfest.

The hotel is about 25 minutes outside of Milwaukee. The property was clean and quite. Our party said that the beds were the most comfortable we had ever slept on at a hotel. We enjoyed the hot tub after a busy day at Summerfest. The breakfast was outstanding. Hot, well stocked and a nice variety.

This hotel greatly exceeded my expectations. Staff was very friendly and professional. The room was freshly, professionally redecorated and very clean, There was a wide variety of breakfast items. I found my new resting place.

Extremely nice and quiet hotel for under $100! Staff was helpful, the breakfast was huge with scrambled eggs, sausage, and biscuits & gravy along with all the other "hotel" breakfast foods. They even had Almond milk for a choice. Will stay here again.

Met my expectations. Couldn't find it at first and had to call for exit number on I-94. Large room, very comfy bed. Great breakfast. Staff was very helpful. Slow elevator - lol - but we weren't in a hurry.

The front desk staff was very pleasant and helpful. The breakfast was scheduled to open at 5:30 am but because they had guests that had early morning shifts at the US Open they had the breakfast ready before 5 am so a nice surprise. The rooms were the basic Best Western rooms and were nice and clean. Location was easy access to the highway and walking distance to the local diner.

The hotel was very clean, the room was very functional and clean, and the hotel staff was very accommodating. The continental breakfast was decent and the food area was kept very clean, The location was easy to find off the x-way. We would recommend this hotel.

Worth every dollar I was totally satisfied with my stay. The amenities were awesome. The service was excellent. The location was Perfect with central location to some good restaurants. The gym was slightly less desirable but overall great stay.

This is a basic beside the highway hotel with just the basics although they do provide breakfast here. The staff is friendly the hotel is clean but the plumbing didn't work very well. The toilet was slow flushing and the shower didn't really shower.

The staff and room were excellent. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. The only hotel with squishy soft pillows. The manager Kelly is professional and friendly. The hotel has breakfasr and offers a variety of options. The pool is full size opened until midnight. There is also a small fitness room.

my husband and I stay at this hotel a couple of weekends a month while we visit family and friends. It is always clean and comfortable. The staff is always friendly and helpful. We have never had a bad stay here, and have been staying here for over 4 years now.

A short drive to downtown Waukesha - which is a charming town to stroll, shop and dine in. The downtown riverside area is a great place to take a break. We will stay at the BW WG again when we visit family in the area.

We have been going to this hotel one weekend a year for a golf trip and I sometimes wonder why. It is close to where we golf and that is the best I can say about it. Looks like no upgrades in the rooms in a LONG time. Beds are fine, breakfast is nothing special. Internet functioned, slowly.

Nothing here is the same as it was just two years ago. In the last two years we've painted all the rooms, gotten new furniture for all of our guest rooms including beds, replaced the hallway carpeting, upgraded the bathrooms by adding granite counter tops, added tile to the entrance-ways of each guest room, re-tiled all of the bathrooms, gotten new tables and chairs for our breakfast room, and replaced all of the furniture in our lobby. And....just this last week we replaced the computer chairs in the guest rooms. We've made ALL of these changes, but we still have kept our rates low. I think we've done very well. I'm sorry that you and your group couldn't golf while you were here due to the weather, but you guys all seemed pretty happy while you were here. THAT'S why you keep coming back. The TV remote was disgusting and the sheets on the bed were as well. The night staff was decent and really tried to make the most out of our stay. The morning staff could care less if you were at the hotel. Spent most of the time outside smoking cigarettes next to the main entrance exit. Breakfast was dismal. I would not recommend staying here.

This is our teams 3rd stay at this hotel . They have always taken good care of us . This hotel meets our travel team requirements of hot breakfast , pool with hot tub and clean comfortable room with friendly staff. The entrance is a little difficult to see .

Good service, only thing is not clean very much. Driver way is not very convenient. Brakefirst need add soybean milk.and air inside Aisle need be flowing . Smoking area need covered , protected from rain.

The hotel had a updated & fresh look, it was clean & well maintained. The staff was nice. I felt it was a great value as well. We have stayed there before and would continue to stay at this hotel anytime we are in the Milwaukee area.

We live local and decided to have a night away from our children. Kids running in the hallways, playing with remote control cars, in the hallways. I was actually run into with the car, no apology, and no parents around. Our room was entered by housekeeping twice before 9 am. They don't knock! They open the door, and then tap on the door as they are entering. Checkout is 11am!! After being woken twice, we just packed up and went home. I was in my own home by 9:30 am. I wasn't happy! I'm also a platinum member, but no one seems to care. There's no recognition from the staff.

I travel 50 weeks of the year for work, so when it comes to comfort & cleanliness I am very fussy. This place was soft on the eye. Hot tub very nice, pool very nice, bed was comfortable. Staff were pleasant. Only complaint was they would begin to pick up breakfast food before 9:30am. also I think they could offer to serve breakfast until at least until 10:30am on the week ends. Also can't forget Brian at the front desk was very pleasant, polite & helpful.

I rushed to Waukesha to be with my sick college daughter. We retreated to the Best Western for two nights and it was so perfect. Recently redecorated rooms. Very nice and helpful staff. Not a fancy breakfast but very well stocked with hot and cold offerings. And blissfully quiet. Just a really great find for the price. Highly recommended.

Hotel is right next to the highway but you wouldn't know it because so well insulated you don't even hear noise in hallway slept like a baby. Staff is very friendly and lots of different kinds of foods located around the hotel within walking distance. Very clean.

I was in town for a funeral and wanted to be close to friends. I chose to stay in Waukesha because it was central to shopping, dining and my friends. The bed was more comfortable than I was expecting. I only stayed the 1 night and I didnt use any of the amenities. It is very close to I94 however it is also close to the Waukesha airport so I suggest that if you are a light sleeper to not get a room on the north side of the hotel.

Stayed at the same hotel (because of the very comfy bed), we were pleasantly surprised that our small pet was also welcome (for an additional fee). Our dog seemed to also enjoy the hotel. Breakfast should be prepared with a little more TLC because it was better last time we visited!

Very nice, super clean. The location is convenient, with restaurants and strip malls around. I don't like the little square pillows on the bed, though. I've seen these before in hotels recently--is this a trend now? What is that about? Why do people like this?

This place is a clean and nice relaxing place if your on the road like i am. the staff are so nice and will help you if you need something. the breakfast is Nice and has a good selection to choose from. the pools are very nice and clean and also, the property was super clean and pleasing to the eyes.

We stay here often as we visit family and friends in the area. We have always had a great experience. Of course there have been minor "glitches" at times but the hotel staff take care of things right away and there has never been anything serious or out of line. I don't even look at other hotels in the area to stay at..this is the place!

We stayed here in June and loved our stay. This time we did not like it at all! Last time we were here, others in our group liked their rooms when they were not on the first floor, but those on the first said their rooms were gross. We ended up on the first floor this time and understood what they meant- our room was really gross. It was stinky, the carpet was damp, dirty, and very lumpy. The lumps were so big in places- it was almost like the carpet was laid over various things that were laying on the ground. The room itself was not very clean, and was damp. We did not walk on the carpet without shoes. The breakfast trays/bins were still mostly empty and was still hardly serviced. Very frustrating. It's a shame what a difference staying on a different floor can make your experience. Not planning on ever returning!

Great access to anything in Waukesha county and surrounding area. Super complimentary breakfast. Staff young but accommodating. Everything was excellent! Clean and comfortable rooms with great beds. Wonderful breakfast and staff, nice pool area and easy access to I -94. The Spring Grill and the Rox Bar (in the same building ) which is a short walk away from the motel is a definite must to visit if you stay at the Best Western. The restaurant is very reasonable and great for a family. The bar there is so much fun! I kept it short and simple but highly recommend this place!

We had needs that were willingly met. However, I DO recommend that BW get recliners for their rooms. There are many people my age who NEED recliners in which to sleep. They CANNOT sleep In a bed. We found that to be a draw back and had to not go to BW on the rest of our trip/

Hotel staff were efficient and nice but not overly so. Hotel room was clean and what you would expect from this level of hotels. The hotel is in the back of a shopping center and a little hard to find from the road. It is right off the interstate exit.

Best rooms in town - excellent service, clean, wonderful beds, nice breakfast! We stay here every 6 weeks for the weekend and never have a bad room or experience. The carpet in our room was wet, sticky and dirty. We told the man at the front desk as we were going out, and when we returned, he said they checked it, but it didn't feel wet. He also said they put a huge fan in the room. First of all, there is no way that someone could touch that carpet and not feel how wet it was. It was so disgusting that we couldn't walk without shoes on. Secondly, why would they put a fan in if it wasn't wet? The next morning we told the woman at the front desk and she instantly knew which room we were in. She said the AC unit upstairs was leaking. This hotel knew they had a problem with the room, let us stay in that room, tried to hide the problem and charge us full price. Luckily, we got a discount, but we will never stay here again.

The beds were very comfortable with 3 to 4 pillows with different softness. Great water pressure in the shower with plenty of hot water. The staff was very helpful in adding one additional day stay without any trouble. The only thing to complain about was the toilet was very noisy when flushed. It was a little difficult to get to the hotel - had to drive through another parking lot.

The hotel has an awkward entrance through fast food restaurants that make it easy to miss. Our rooms smelled of smoke residue. The mattress was extremely bouncy and the pillows flat - all need to be replaced. The A/C did work well and cooled the room down. Breakfast was blah - the biscuits and gravy weren't very good, and the biscuits were in a basket covered by a towel, and with no tongs.

As far as our entrance, we share a driveway with a few neighboring businesses, but it's a straight shot back to the hotel. I'm wondering if you were bypassing our driveway and coming through the parking lot of the mall next door possibly? Did you happen to mention that your room smelled like smoke after you checked in? If so, we would have been more than happy to move you to a different room right away. Yes, we are a nonsmoking hotel, but some guests still choose to ignore the rules and smoke in their rooms anyways. The tongs for the biscuits are right next to them on top of the bread rack, I'm sorry you missed them.

Good value for the location, but the staff could be more responsive. Do not use the Please make up room sign as they will ignore it and treat it as a do not disturb. Even though all the staff we ran into spoke perfect English, when we put out the sign for cleaning, it was ignored. The reason management gave us was that the staff did not read English, The sign has a picture of a person cleaning the room on that side, and is a different color, What? They are color blind and can't see pictures either? Also when it was made up the next day one would think that they were also a bit vindictive as the room was given only the most cursory cleaning with no TP refill though we were running low. Parking is VERY tight, so do not expect to park anything large. AC was extremely loud.

I'm sorry that you had a difficult time getting your room cleaned by our housekeeping staff, but I personally looked at the sign on your door several times during your stay with us. Yes, the sign is two sided, but unless you attach it the proper way the sign can flip back and forth when entering and leaving the room. Also, only allowing a 30 to 60 minute window for the housekeepers to clean your room can make things a bit difficult. My housekeepers are not vindictive, and insulting my staff in the manner you did is extremely tacky. We did our best to please you, but no matter what we did nothing was good enough. I'm sorry that you didn't enjoy your stay with us, but things could have been better with your cooperation as well.

I was super happy with my stay. The room was clean and the bed was very comfy. Staff was friendly and efficient even though they were swamped with three wedding blocks. Free breakfast had a good variety of hot and cold options. There were some small cosmetic things that could be fixed but for the rate I would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel needs updates. The couch in the lobby was dirty. I went to ask for conditioner and the front desk clerk tried to help me but all he had was a half used bottle. The maid did not understand what I wanted and brought me lotion. The shower H and C were backwards and hard to shut off at all. The towel bar was falling off. Our room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Pool is micro sized. Breakfast was fine.

I hadn't stayed in BW in a very long time, and would happily recommend this property again. The rooms were spacious, beds comfortable, and clean. The breakfast was very generous, with many options, and the internet was fast, both were free.

Second time at this hotel and again Kelly, the assistant manager was fantastic. We could not get our TV to work when we got to our room. Kelly came into our room and fixed the problem herself. Breakfast room is spacious and has a large array of foods to choose from and the friendly staff kept everything clean and well stocked. It is conveniently located right off the interstate with plenty of restaurants and a grocery store in walking distance.

We stayed at this property two years ago, and liked it, so stayed again this weekend. I won't be back. It was nothing egregious, just a lack of attention to details that makes you wonder what else has been missed. A friend arrived before we did and waited 20 minutes for someone to come to the front desk, despite using the courtesy phone and even calling the hotel number on her cell phone. When we arrived, I only had to wait a few minutes for the clerk I'd walked past as I entered to finish his cigarette and hurry in to wait on me. When we opened the door to our room, we were greeted by a huge roaring. Inside, an industrial-strength blow dryer was pointed into the room and the a/c was on full blast. This was a pet-friendly room and, while I appreciate that it appears they are attending to cleaning, it made us feel like we were walking into something "in progress," not a room that was ready for us (and this was 9:00pm). The bed spread and pillows were rumpled and the bathroom garbage had not been emptied, which furthered that feeling. I unplugged the big dryer and wheeled it out into the hallway, and re-spread the bed. Last visit, the lobby sported white leather (or maybe faux leather, I don't know) sofa. This time, it was a rather grimy and grubby white plush. Recommendation -- if you're going to go with something non-wipable, don't get white! The front entrance was Smoker Central. I appreciate that the hotel is non-smoking, but having to walk through the cloud of smoke to get in and out was ridiculous. Create a smoker's patio or something. Otherwise, this is an older property and that shows, but it really is very solid and, compared to more modern construction, I appreciate how quiet it is in the room. We just felt like the details that we appreciated last time -- super cleanliness, the unusual lobby design, the great staff -- had become pretty shabby and careless.

This a no-frills hotel. You get a clean, comfortable room for a decent price! They offer free wi-fi and breakfast in the morning. They have a pool, hot tub and small fitness center. Everything you will need for a business trip or a quick family get-away!

We stayed at this hotel while in town for a concert at Alpine Valley. Customer service at the front desk was wonderful and accommodating to early check-in. Definitely poor parking. Overall, I would stay at this hotel again.

I was in the area on business, it was not my first choice, but it was a nice alternative. The parking pretty much sucks, but this whole area the parking is just....F'ed up. If you have a trailer I advise you to park on the backside somewhere because you will not be able to park by the main entrance. The hotel itself is clean, the breakfast was nice as well. I did not check out anything else that the hotel has to offer like the pool or the exercise room. The WiFi is nice. LOL. The room was under $100, before taxes. Not sure what final cost will be.probably around $110.

I would recommend this hotel hands down! They were helpful on the phone for making a reservation and the location is convenient along the interstate and close to Milwaukee and Johnson Creek. The room was immaculately clean and the bed plush and comfy. Good coffee and breakfast selections in the morning. Rate was very reasonable. But the best thing was the exceptional service from Tammie at the front desk. She was efficient and cheerful and went above and beyond to help me with my travel plans. I inquired about directions and travel time to Ten Chimneys the next day..she looked it up online and even printed it off for me. Then when I asked about a place to eat, she was able to guide me to a local grille that fit my needs and even called ahead for me to be sure they had what I was looking for. Vey nice!!

It was a simple hotel. Room was clean and the bedding kept clean. Didn't realize the airport runway passes next to the hotel so you could hear planes taking off and landing. Cool to see and did not disturb sleep because no flights scheduled during sleep hours. Breakfast was OK. The layout and seating seemed tight and there were a lot of people there so it was crowded, but it was free. Pool and hot tub were nice to relax in after our adventures for the day.

Entry and hallways were clean. Staff at desk were very helpful. Cleaning staff not so much. Friendly, but little or no English. Some areas(by the pool, vending machines, computers) were understandably messy. You would need help there 24/7 to pick up after some people. Driving to the hotel and parking can be a pain, but doable. Many food places/gas stations within walking distance. The room was clean and comfortable. A/C worked fine. Water was hot and good pressure. TV, mini-fridge and microwave were up to date and functional. I wasn't able to get my own breakfast, so I can't comment on the breakfast area or selection. But what I had someone bring to the room was excellent. Scrambled eggs, sausage links, waffles, yogurt and orange juice were all good. Price is a little more than I usually pay, but the area dictated the higher price. I checked lower price hotels in the area and they all had terrible reviews. I would recommend this to anyone. And yes, the elevator doors are slow to close. It will also go up instead of going down. So if you're in that big of a hurry, use the stairs.

You can see this hotel clearly from the highway but when you try to take a side street to get there - you can't seem to do it! That's because you actually have to zig zag your way through the adjacent strip mall in order to get to the hotel. THAT was pretty strange but ALL was forgiven when we slept in the MOST comfortable bed ever! We had a king and I didn't even notice my husband rolling himself into a taco during the night - my side of the bed didn't even flinch. It was the best sleep I've had in a long time. Enough with the bed! The room was very clean, the corridor a bit shabby near the elevator but after you see people coming and going with coffee and breakfast, you understand why. The staff was efficient with easy check in/check out. Best Western should do a better job of explaining how to find the hotel on the hotel sites though! We WILL stay there again. It's very convenient, clean and a good deal for the money - especially when you consider the ample lobby breakfast they offer in the morning. (Recommend changing the coffee to another brand, though)

The place was good, descent rooms, nice breakfast. The staff was friendly and helpful. We never used the pool, so I couldn't tell you about that. Parking was a little confusing, maybe because it was one way. One end of the building didn't have building access from the back side, so you did have to walk around.

I stayed at the BW Waukesha Grand for business in July, 2016. For the price in the Milwaukee suburbs this hotel was a good deal. My room was large, clean and appeared to be remodeled in recent past. All the standard mid range amenities like flat screen TV, chair and I had a comfortable King bed. My room also had a small refrigerator and microwave. Breakfast was good with pastries, cereal and yogurt. I really enjoyed the eggs, sausage and biscuits with gravy. There is an indoor pool and fitness room. There are a number of restaurants and fast food within walking distance. Parking is OK but it is one way around the building. Watch the signs or risk going the wrong way and causing someone to back up. Some questionable decisions were made during my stay that caused me to be less then pleased, one being the parking lot repaving causing a parking hassle and my room being without any television due to cable replacement from when I got back to hotel at 5 pm until I got back the next day. Basically I was told when I called about it that they replaced the box and wouldn't be back until tomorrow to activate it. No warning it would happen or notification that people would be in my room during my absence. Overall a good stay for the price.

Pleasant experience on check-in once arrived. Using GPS directions led to closed street that I asked directions a t a gas station and found out that I was quite close. Check GPS directions and consult map to find good route.

This is a fairly decent hotel with and excellent hot breakfast. We have been here before. This trip had a major drawback. They replaced the front parking lot. Not resurfaced, but replaced. The sawed up and removed the asphalt. The spread new asphalt and rolled it down. We were not notified before arrival and there was no notice until work started a 6:30 AM. This early noisy start occurred each day of work. There are a VERY limited number of parking spots in the rear of the property. We had to guess and park in lots of nearby other business. We never were told that this was OK, we jut did it. Also has one very slow elevator. 8+ seconds for the door to close and button pushing does not help

Checking in was very poor. They had no idea when rooms would be available. Most hotels have rooms ready shortly before check in time, this one was later and personal had no idea what was going on. Had a lot of couples behind us waiting to also check in. Everyone there was getting very upset with the service. Breakfast was terrible. Have had better at all hotels that I have stayed at. No towels in the pool area.

First, our check-in time starts at 3pm. You needed four rooms, and you arrived three hours early. We had two of them clean when you arrived, and the other two were finished within ten minutes of your arrival. This was not 'shortly before check-in time'. For future reference, if you are going to arrive three hours before check-in time you may want to call ahead as a courtesy. Your rooms would be ready upon your arrival and your check-in experience will be less frustrating as well. We had a King Room on the third floor. The room was a good size and the bed was extremely comfortable! There was a refrigerator and microwave in our room, plus a upholstered chair and a desk chair. The tv was large and had a very good picture. Breakfast was good with plenty of choices, and the coffee was probably the best coffee we have ever had at a hotel breakfast - my husband and I both commented at the same time about how good it was! The pool area was open and bright with large door/windows all around two sides, and seemed very clean. The hot tub didn't seem as hot as most hot tubs are, but it didn't bother anyone in our group. One thing visitors might want to know was that the elevator was SUPER SLOW! Not a big deal except in the morning when you are getting ready to go out for the day, and others are trying to get downstairs with their things to check out. The staff was very friendly and helpful, especially Kellie who was working on the Friday we checked in. She was over the top nice and we were joking with her because she played along with our banter and made us feel extremely welcome. All in all a very good place to stay!

We were very surprised at our rooms! We had 2 connecting double queen bed rooms, and they were very clean, beds comfortable with lots of pillows, decent bathrooms, & pretty good service. I think the breakfast area is way too cramped and they run out of things too quickly, and the elevators run on Jamaica time (way too slow!). We would probably visit again though, as we were very satisfied over all.

This is a nice hotel located close to the interstate. Very quiet inside with no noise coming in from the interstate. The staff in friendly and the breakfast area is CLEAN and looks nice. Breakfast options aren't numerous but the food that was provided was hot and fresh.

The room was good. Our only complaint was that the metal bar on the door that manually blocks intruders from entering was broken. The breakfast was decent as hotel breakfasts go. Not especially healthy, but my standards are unrealistic there. The juice dispenser was out of order both mornings.

A little tough getting to the place - potholes & bumps in access road. Good value for the money. Near the interstate with easy on/off. We checked in early without any hassles. Comfortable, clean& quiet room.

Thankyou for your review. So you know for your next hotel visit, if you call down to the front desk we are always happy to assist with any issues that you may be having. I checked your room after you left that day, and the reason the TV didn't work was because the light strip was unplugged from the outlet. Also, the top set of outlets in the wall plugs will not work if the light switch by the door is turned off. They are set up that way so our guests can open the door, turn on the switch, and all the lights in the room turn on. I wish you would have called down to the front desk so we could have assisted you with those issues while you were here. We can't help if we aren't aware that there's an issue. As far as the hot water, the water heater 'reset switch' popped off that morning. We were notified quickly of the issue and the hot water was up and running within 15 or 20 minutes. I'm sorry that you folks didn't enjoy your stay with us, but if we were made aware of the issue while you were here we could have helped make your stay a more enjoyable one. We have stayed at this hotel several times in the past. We hesitated to stay again, as the hotel needed some updating. But, when we checked the hotel on the interent, we noticed the hotel had some updating, so we decided to give it another try. The stay didn't start out well, as the clerk who checked us in gave us a different price for the room than what we were quoted. Unfortunately, he wasn't as helpful as he could have been, nor was he offering a solution to our problem. Fortunately, one of the managers (Kellie) happened by and offered to help. Kellie carefully listened to our concerns, helped us where she could and arranged for us to talk to the head manager in the morning, which we did. The manager also listened to our concerned, was very fair and honored our quote. Our hotel stay ended up being fantastic. The hotel lobby has been remoded and looks great. The rooms have new bedding and were recently painted. The hotel is very clean and well maintained. The hottub was perfect; hot, clean and relaxing. The pool was also very clean and refreshing. The breakfast area was very popular, as the food was good. Waffles, fresh fruit, yogart, breads, biscuits and gravy, sausage and eggs. The hotel staff was very friendly, even the clerk who checked us in. I paid attention to how the hotel staff interacted with other guests, and they seemed to genuinely care about their guests. We will definitely stay at this hotel again

The hotel was clean, well stocked, and the staff was great. We checked in at 1 am on a Friday and they were nice enough to let us have a 12:30 check out the following morning, even though they were booked solid for the rest of the weekend. The continental breakfast was nice as well.

The desk clerk who checked us in was lukewarm in his service. The hot tub was lukewarm as was the water for my in room shower. The eggs and sausage was lukewarm. The room itself was in good condition. The bed was also comfortable.

Little minor maintenance issues like shower handle installed upside down and curtain falling off the wall. Air is either on or off, so that makes it hard to maintain a temp, but it wasn't too bad. Overall very clean room.

We stayed at the Waukesha Grand on Friday night Had a terrible experience. 1st couldn't find me in the system, toilet ran all night, clump of hair stuck to the faucet in the bathroom. used the pool and the railings were very loose. then in the morning no food, person could not keep up with all the guests. person did not show up that was to do the breakfast. when the day shift person came on, the night person ran out the door, not bothering to help catch up. many upset people besides me, had to go some where else for breakfast. We do flea markets thru the year and like the location, would have to pay more but location. now may have to stay some where else.

The primary reason we selected the Best Western Grand was because it was a pet friendly hotel. We couldn't leave the pet unattended in the room but the weather allowed us to keep her in the car with the windows rolled down bit when we attended the events. It is located near restaurants, grocery stores & a pharmacy, all within walking distance. A breakfast was served that included a nice variety of selections & eggs, sausages or bacon & biscuits & gravy. all was delicious.

Great location, plenty of choices of places to eat and things to do. Good people here taking care of you at this hotel. it was quiet in my room even though there is a main highway really close to this property.

Not luxurious, but quiet and clean. I have paid more money to stay in places that weren't as nice. Entrance and parking lot not real visible upon first approach. My only problem was spotty wi-fi in my room.

We called 1 hour before our arrival to ask if we could check in early. Kellie at the front desk was very friendly and said it would not be a problem. We arrived and Kellie was there to greet us, we thanked her for letting us check in early as we were here to attend the funeral of my husband's sister. She was sympathetic and said if there was anything she could do to just let her know. The day of the funeral the weather was miserable and she even offered to borrow us a couple of umbrellas. She went above and beyond and we sent her a glowing review via Best Western also. We did have a little time to use the pool and spa which were fantastic, all hotel indoor heated pools should take lessons from them...the water was perfect. The breakfast had a great selection of hot and cold items. We will absolutely stay here again.

We booked early and got a great price for two nights during Easter weekend. It is located just off the interstate and was close to our family gathering. The room appeared to be newly renovated and had plenty of space. The breakfast offered many options which was a nice way to start each day. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. Not a GRAND hotel. Needs major updating, has odor in rooms. The pool and hot tub looked like that was a nice area. Didn't use. Staff could be little more friendly and communicate better. Best part is there a options of places to eat close by.

Clean, Comfortable room for us! Except for the Microwave not working, but didn't try to use until right before we checked out. Pool and Spa was clean! Beds were very comfortable, we slept well! Staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was plentiful and many varieties of breakfast food! Relaxing and enjoyable.

I need to go to Waukesha for business a few times a year. I stayed at other modestly priced hotels in the area and this one fits my needs the best.. I usually arrive late and the check in process is fast as is the check out. I really appreciate that.

A little cluttered in parts of the hallway because of the repairs they are doing, but we had no other problems. Like to stay her for sports at Center Court because it is only 5 minutes away from hotel. Eating places right next door and grocery store within walking distance. Great location

Was a nice hotel. Parking was a little confusing for being behind the hotel. Breakfast was good and the breakfast area was clean. Check in service was good. Heater could have put out a little more heat. Was a very cold night outside.

Disgusting stains on windows should have been cleaned. Water stained ceiling was disgusting and is need of repair. Stucco on walls was applied poorly and was chipping off in several places. There was no telephone book in the room. Guest directory stated breakfast to be served until 10:00, but staff told us 9:30. Check-in took over 10 minutes with no waiting in line. There is a tip jar for the employees; really? Biscuits for the biscuits and gravy were almost as hard as a rock. Gravy for the biscuits and gravy was cool at best (probably against FDA code). Even though I am a Diamond member, I was not provided with Express Check-Out and no newspaper.

Stayed here for 2 nights. At check in, we saw a small handwritten sign on the front desk stating there was construction on the 3rd floor. We were given a room on the first floor so no problem, right? Wrong. All day long there was a loud constant drone. We were told that they were removing tile and could not tell me when they would be done. We have a small dog who was freaking out because of the noise (we paid extra for him to stay) and 2 children who needed to nap in the room. We finally had to leave. We came back later in the afternoon and the noise was still going on. In the future, it might be a good idea to post on your website that you have construction going on. We would not have stayed there had we known.

Extremely friendly and caring staff efficient breakfast staff kept things fresh and warm close to on and off highway ramps easy access to many amenities. We have stayed here twice in the past 4 months. Would come back here next trip also.

Stayed for one night during a basketball tournament at Center Court. Beds were average, room was clean, ample towels and comfortable room. Our refrigerator made a loud noise but we didn't need it so I just unplugged it. Breakfast eggs were terrible but the sausage and biscuits were fine. Pool and hot tub were nice but lots of chlorine. Better safe than sorry I guess. Would stay again for the price. No Bugs. Enjoy!

This Best Western is a great option for the area. Close to my family, shopping and restaurants. Staff friendly and very helpful. Clean with a great breakfast. This makes for my second stay and will stay again. My father left behind a health moniter, and the staff went out of their way to contact me so that I could return and retrieve it.

Stayed one night while visting a friend who suggested this hotel. Check in was quick and pleasant. Room seemed ok could have probably used a little more cleaning but nothing that was disgusting. Kellie at the front desk was very helpful with getting us info on ant questions we had. Room heater was an older model and the low heat button didn't work so we put it on high and adjusted the temp which worked ok. Nice breakfast in the morning with good selection. Would stay again but only for quick getaways.

I stay at this hotel once a year, its minutes from the expo center, where I go to the Feargounds. I like how its close to freeway, theres restaurants & bars within walking distance, even a pick and save grocery store. Plus they have a pool, jacuzzi, and gym. I love there breakfst in the morning, waffles, eggs, bacon, pasteries, juice and coffee. I enjoyed my stay, as I do ever year!!

My husband and I stole away here for an evening away after moving heaven and earth to get child care and transportation covered. Happy to say all the work was worth it. Friendly greeting on check in, the clerk was even able to help me find my rewards number in the system! Kind gesture. Room was a whirlpool suite, perfect for some R&R. It was adequate size with all kinds of amenities, nice size refrigerator and microwave. In the morning, up early enough for breakfast, we headed to dining area for continental breakfast. Holy moly! The choices, freshness and amounts of food available were spectacular! I started with biscuits and gravy with sausage. Yum! Great coffee machine made super fresh coffee, regular and decaf available at the touch of a button. Beyond what I indulged in, there were fresh waffles, cereals, breakfast breads, eggs and fruits available. Renee was a superwoman making sure things were always stocked which was quite a challenge with the amount of people cycling through. V. J. was making the desk in the morning and literally jumped when I stepped to the counter to ask for a late checkout. Awesome hotel, wonderful staff, we'll be back!

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting family nearby. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Service was okay. Basically good for the price. The traffic noise, if you stay in the rooms on the south side of the hotel, pretty much goes away at night. The problem came on our 3rd night there. A group of young men, who I assume were staying at the hotel, were outside in the parking lot just below our window. They were standing around the bed of a pick up drinking, yelling and urinating in the lot. The noise was ridiculous. I called the front desk and asked them to do something about it. The response from the associate was "I can't see anything on the security camera" but that he would "look into it". Nothing happened. I thought about calling the cops but decided to put in ear plugs and let it go. I still would have given them a 3 as a rating except for their response to my complaint. I took the time to fill out the Best Western survey, and commented on the noise issue, I received a response email. Apparently in the survey I said it was Tuesday night instead of Monday night that this happened. Rather than asking me for clarification the response from their 'customer service' was, "You weren't even in our hotel on Tuesday night so you must have been talking about another hotel". That response from their "customer service" is what got them a 2 rating here on Trip Advisor. Would I stay here again? Probably not.

I asked you if it was possible that you had us confused with another hotel because you were not here on that Tuesday evening. Also, I looked into the matter further, and there were no other complaints from any other guests that evening. I also looked over our security camera footage and saw nothing 3 floors down below your room. That is why I asked if you had my hotel possible confused with another. This is a hotel with real value for your money. Rating hotels should be star ratings in a category, such as a five star hotel in the mid price category. This hotel is in the Hampton Inn, Holiday Express market, but less expensive. I paid $80 Friday night for four people with breakfast. A really good deal. Its on the far west side of Milwaukee and right off I -90. Lots of inexpensive restaurants nearby. A good place for an overnight that does not break the bank. This is a solid four star hotel in the mid price category.

Stayed a week in this hotel with my son while on business in the area. We had a room on the third floor that was really quiet. We were pulling a cargo trailer and there was room on site to park it. Breakfast was early, 5:30 am. We liked that as we were able to get an early start to our day. Our room was large and comfortable. Definitely will stay here again.

Most often the only noise you will ever hear is the children running in the hall to get to the pool, but you remember how excited you were as a child when there was a pool to swim in...lol. Very very average. Pleasant staff, so-so breakfast. Rooms are bland but serviceable. Entrance of hotel is tricky to get to via the freeway (it is not obvious). It is bare bones but does the job for an affordable price. I did not use the pool, but it was well kept.

I chanced upon this hotel as we needed a place to stay somewhere close to Milwaukee and on the way to Minneapolis. The room was a very pleasant surprise, just lovely! We were exhausted by the time we pulled in and the most wonderful surprise were all the restaurants within walking distance. The staff was extremely friendly and it was a great value for the price.
