Best Western Paradise Hotel

Although I did book through trip advisor i would like let everyone know that this is an amzing little hotel. 3 floors of clean, spacious rooms. Nice, clean bathrooms with wall mounted shower essentials. The grounds are meticulously maintained, as are the pool and hot tub. Good size parking lot with street parking along side if you may be towing a trailer or boat. The town of Paradise has so much to offer and tons of natural beauty surrounding it. The staff goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is the best it can be. The Breakfast spread is top notch, providing a great meal to start your day. Hot food to a yogurt bar with everything in-between. The staff take really good care of their visitors. Raechel, who works the front desk during peak check in hours, is the sweetest most accommodating person. Definitely a very welcoming vibe after a long day of traveling. She makes check in enjoyable and easy. I hope you come across her on your visit. Check this little gem out.

I've stayed here before and loved it both times. Great rooms, clean throughout, very nice breakfast and wonderful staff.

very friendly and helpful. very clear and comfortable. I had made a mistake on my reservation which they fixed with no hassle. The room was very nice and comfortable. the breakfast was a surprise with options I not seen at other motels. didn't use the pool since it January but did notice it is rather small.

Staff was great and went out of their way to assist. Rooms were fairly large. Ours included a desk, living space and a king bed, hotel, amenities were typical. Breakfast provided included eggs biscuits, and gravy, waffles and traditional cold fair. Overall, I was in this area. I would stay here again.

I recently had a deeply distressing experience at the Best Western in Paradise that has left me thoroughly dissatisfied with the management's handling of guest concerns. I woke up one night to find a roach crawling on me while I was sleeping, which was both alarming and unacceptable. I immediately reported the incident to the front desk, expecting swift and decisive action. Unfortunately, the management's response was anything but that. Despite the severity of the situation, there was a notable lack of urgency in addressing the problem. When I followed up, the front desk staff displayed a dismissive attitude, showing little empathy or concern for my plight. This response made me feel that my concerns were being trivialized. There were no visible efforts to conduct a thorough inspection or implement pest control measures, which are basic expectations for maintaining a safe and habitable environment. This experience has highlighted significant gaps in the management's policies and procedures for handling such critical issues. As a guest, I expect prompt and effective action to ensure the well-being and comfort of all residents. Sadly, the Best Western in Paradise has fallen short of these expectations. I hope this review serves as a wake-up call for the management to improve their responsiveness and to take guest concerns more seriously. Until then, I cannot recommend the Best Western in Paradise to anyone looking for a reliable and caring place to stay.

Everything about this hotel was a delight. Front desk was welcoming, our rooms were spotless, beds were comfy, very quiet at night so we got good rest. Breakfast was one of the best I've had at any hotel. It was well worth the few extra miles, to experience this wonderful hotel. The awards on their walls, speak for themselves.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. Liked fhat the blanket was to heavy. It seemed perfect for the time of year. The layout of the room was very nice. The bathroom door would be better as a pocket door. But all good. Like the body wash, shampoos and conditioners were on the wall in large squeeze containers.

Everything was fantastic - don't get me wrong. The elevator was on the fritz and I can't blame that on anyone. It seemed to have a vendetta against me because it worked fine for my wife and kid, lol. Breakfast was great, the room was... well, roomy, and comfortable. It was upward of 110° in the area while we were there so the AC was much appreciated. It was also great to see so many CalFire workers staying at the hotel as they were working on fighting the Thompson Fire. Kudos to Best Western for opening up to them!

The property is what you expect at a Best Western, well maintained, clean and up to date. What stands out about this property is the helpful, professional and courteous staff. They are attentive and smiling. Think metropolitan accommodations with a small town vibe. An all around pleasant experience!

We had yo revisit our devastated property in Paradise. But where to stay? We chose The Best Western as their reputation is great. Yep! It was a clean, quiet, comfortable, and convenient stay. It made an unpleasant trip a bit more tolerable.

I booked this hotel as a points program member, on the website 5000 points for one night or $149, I chose points and was very disappointed that nothing was mentioned upon check in or out about charges other than for taxes and fees ie pet fees, which I was prepared to pay. Instead, I was charged the full price for the room and my 5000 points were taken as well, I wouldn't pay this much for one night at a subpar hotel with little to offer other than breakfast, a filthy room with pet urine stains on the carpet and cigarette burns, as a member I expect more. I have stayed for far less points at other chains and they didn't charge me on top of taking my points. I will not be utilizing this chain moving forward.

The towels were not very clean and my partner and I experienced some hives on our bodies. The rest is fine, I have always stayed in this hotel network and have never had a problem like this. It was really a surprise for me.

The entire trip was a good one. The hotel was well stocked, clean and relaxing. Staff and guests were friendly, helpful and respectful. The breakfast was well stocked and the expectations were exceeded.

This hotel stands strong after the town of Paradise burned. All newly remodeled inside. It is clean and quiet. Dogs are allowed and never an issue. The breakfast options are plentiful and fresh. There are a few lakes nearby. Good for day trip to Marysville and Oroville. The staff is polite and attentive. You can always find someone at front desk even during late night hours. The pool is silly small, but good to lounge around. Again, praise to the staff.

I often stay in Best Western Hotels, and find that some are older, poorly maintained or are in a bad location. This hotel was perfect for a visit to Butte County. It served as a base for a lot of sightseeing road trips to various nearby attractions. Hotel seemed newly remodeled, with great amenities such as the pool and breakfast. It was clean, quiet and staff was extremely helpful.

Nice new hotel in really good shape. Other than the elevator not working it was fine. Breakfast choices were not great, but they were adequate. I would recommend this hotel for anyone needing to stay in the area.

Excellent place to stay. Friendly staff, quiet location and it was really clean. I seriously have no complaints. I'll definitely stay there again should work place me in the area. I hope more people will come through and support Paradise.

Easy check-in. Happy with the size of 2 queen-sized bedrooms. Beds and linens of high quality. Free breakfast is well stocked with hot and cold options and great coffee. The staff is very pleasant and professional. Quiet location with ample parking. Nice workout room and well-kept pool/spa area.

We had a great stay and our pup was welcomed, always a plus. The rooms are very nice, with easy USB charging connections built into the headboard. The room is big enough and I like that the vanity/sink is outside of the restroom. The chair and ottoman were not the most comfy but they did the job. The bed was very comfortable but very high (we are tall and it was a reach for us!) Breakfast had a decent variety of choices, but could use a few more choices that are diabetic friendly. All in all, a great stay. We'll stay again if we need to be in the area.

Very easy check in and wonderful and helpful staff. Also nice picturesque surroundings. The room was very clean from bathroom to the clean floor. The bed was firm and I woke up without the usual backache

Each time we visit the Paradise area, we stay at this hotel. Everything about our stay was excellent. From their warm smiling faces, clean rooms and great breakfast. We enjoyed the hot tub and their beds are so comfortable. We can't get enough of this place!

We stayed for a quick overnight after a wedding in Magalia. Good location, new, pretty property. Traveled with an ADA req. Couple and they said the room was the best handicapped room they've ever stayed at. Good rate. Would definitely stay again.

Incredibly helpful staff at every level of service. Very clean. Hot tub and pool weren't available, but the spacious tub worked instead. Beds are high for short people but very comfortable. Lots of selections for breakfast.

Pretty typical for a best western. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was a decent size and the air conditioner worked well. The blackout shades did a great job of keeping the room dark. The breakfast was decent. The bedding was clean, but the floor was dirty: obviously it had not been vacuumed/swept/mopped after the previous guest. There were chunks of dirt and crumbs on the carpet and on the floor in front of the vanity area.

Daughter's graduation form Chico State. All other hotels in Chico were price-gauging parents, so decided to stay at Best Western in Paradise. The town was ravaged by fire recently, so we were expecting the hotel to be in need of repair. We were wrong! They did a great job rebounding. The room was clean and had 2 sinks in the main part of the room (perfect since there were 3 of us). Great amenities that worked well, soft water in the shower. Beds were super comfy. Nice breakfast choices, friendly & helpful staff. Easy 15 minute drive to Chico State campus. Highly recommend!

From check-in to departure, everything about my stay was great! The employees were friendly, the rooms were clean, the hotel was located within a few minutes of everything I needed. It was so nice to see the town of Paradise coming back from the damages of the 2018 Campfire.

This hotel was very nice, clean and the workers were pleasant. My only issue is it is hard for short people or the elderly to sit to eat breakfast or to get into bed as the beds are higher than a normal bed and some of the chairs were the tall ones.

The room and the service was outstanding! We had to take care of family business and we got this hotel short notice. The hotel was clean and everyone went out of their way to make us feel at home. I will be staying at this location again!

If you want a clean, well decorated room, along with excellent customer service from EVERYONE working at the location, that is doggy friendly and you'd like actual breakfast options (not just a bag with 3 items you DON'T want), then stay here. Don't waste your time staying anywhere else, it's worth it!

Wanda, Josh and the whole BW Team were super kind + helpful! They made sure my family had everything they needed. I was surprised with the abundance of healthy breakfast options fully stocked in the am.

This is a good hotel that, compared with other similar hotels in the area, is very reasonably priced. Good value for the money. This may be the only available hotel in Paradise, CA at the time, so it is great that this option is available for those who want to stay in Paradise.

I normally stay at Marriott Hotels, but Paradise Best Western was excellent! The reception was great at check in, my room was clean and cozy. The hotel is a little out there, but I will drive out again, it is worth it!

This hotel is the only one Standing in Paradise so it's convenient, clean and reasonable. Walls are thin as usual can hear neighbors Tv, conversations etc Still under Covid restrictions so minimal continental breakfast choices

Good hotel environment but problems with maid service. Room had king bed, desk and recliner and was very functional. Breakfast was continental but well supplied with very good coffee. The maid service is under staffed and not supervised.

The hotel looks new. Everything was fine except we found a previous guests women's tank top in our bed after we had slept overnight. We doubt the room was cleaned very well. The mattress was also extremely firm causing a back ache in the morning and very poor sleep.

Very close to my worksite. As I had to leave very early the next morning, the nite crew hat hot coffee ready for us in the lobby, and I thought that was very nice. I expect to be staying at this hotel in the future.

It's not a hotel from Las Vegas Nevada. It's a hotel in California. You can check in and you can check out but you'll never want to leave. I am in the process of moving to Paradise California and the people here made me feel welcomed. After I checked in turn and started for the elevator I heard Wanda say to me, welcome home.

The staff was outstanding, modified breakfast but still appreciated and the hotel is beautiful. What a beautiful place in a town that had so much devastation that will rise again like the Phoenix. Will be back

Clean and convenient, friendly and helpful staff. Pool and exercise room are not yet functional. Rooms look like they get a lot of use but are roomy and functional. Blackout curtains! YEAH! since we often have to work at night and sleep in the day. Some better sound isolation between rooms would be nice but it was quiet enough once the earlier risers had left. Great location if you are working in the Paradise area. Ace hardware just a couple blocks away.

My Wife and I have stayed that this Best Western Hotel for over 25 years. We have always enjoyed the location, service, cleanliness and delicious breakfast. Most of this has not changed. However, some wear and tear is starting to show. We had to switch rooms this time as our usual room consisted of well worn sheets. My wife always checks for bed bugs when we enter a hotel room. She didn't find any bugs but did notice that the sheets had black marks on them and were very worn, They looked very old. The room we switched at least had once of the beds with newer sheets. I'm still recommending the hotel for other reasons (as listed above) but am thinking of checking out other, newer locations.

We drive from Boise to AZ and need a place to stay with our dog. Clean remodeled rooms. Restaurant on property. Nothing fancy but good food. Breakfast included and dog fee only $10. Gas station next door. Great stopover for us. Microwave and fridge in room which is great as we can heat up food.

New facility, or at least it appears very new. Rooms are large and tastefully decorated. WiFi was adequate. Cable channels limited but this is rural California so not a big media market. Breakfast was excellent. Staff was courteous and friendly but did not know much about local attractions nor was there a brochure rack about local attractions.

Wanda was incredible, tending to our every need and request. Rooms were clean, breakfast better than average. Bed comfy, extra pillows provided when requested and help with our boarding passes. Stayed there before and will again.

Just spent 4 nites with this location. Staffb was great and location is pet friendly. Highly recommend!! Great breakfast and access to highway. Can fill up quickly so make reservations in advance. Will book again when in area.

Enjoyed this hotel while visiting family nearby. Room was quite comfortable for single traveler, breakfasts were quite nice and staff was very friendly and accommodating of my family visiting with providing a late check out on last day of stay.

This Best Western is very clean. Newly renovated, great decor, large hot breakfast with many choices, friendly staff & all around great atmosphere! Would highly recommend this hotel. Location is great, short distance to shopping & food. Bowling Alley next door for entertainment.

Rooms are clean, staff is friendly, excellent services. We will come back on our next vacation. My nephew was married to a wonderful woman and families on both sides stayed at this hotel. I heard everyone liked their stay at this hotel.

Nice change while attending a granddaughter masters graduation ar Chico state. Great breakfast, clean rooms and super parking. Desk help very knowledgeable and friendly. Very close to Chico. I would recommend this hotel .

The hotel in Paradise, Ca. is very pretty on the outside and clean, well equipped rooms inside. Breakfast had lots of delicious choices. Staff was professional and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel and would stay here again.

The hotel staff was super nice, the room was clean. Didn't have a problem finding parking. Distance to Cal State Chico was fine, easy to find which the pool could be a little bigger. Family was overall happy with our stay.

We enjoyed our family time in Paradise and the Best Western was very nice. I would stay there again in the future. The staff was wonderful as well as our room. The breakfast was also very good. Check in and check out was fast and correct.

There was a big bike ride in Chico that many of the guests were in town for. The staff went out of their way to cater to the cyclists' needs - even providing "to go bags" in the morning for riders who were leaving before breakfast. And the staff started preparing breakfast early so riders could have a good breakfast before taking off. They were awesome!

Nice clean hotel in the Paradise area. Comfy beds with soft sheets. Personable attentive hotel staff. Excellent Blueberry Belgian Waffles in the complimentary breakfast. Pool always looks gorgeous with the hot summer weather.

Pleasant experience, clean, good breakfast, all in all very nice and comfortable bed , staff polite. Only stayed one night, travel for my job and spend most of the time in hotels so it's nice when things are clean and comfortable.

We walked in on short notice and were treated as if we had planned a great stay. It added to all our help and accommodation to a wedding of very important people in our lives. We did not have to worry about a thing, when our personal plans changed and we had to be available. Thank you Best Western in Paradise. I love you.

Very comfortable bed, very clean room. The staff was very accommodating as we had our dog with us. They put us near an exit for quick potty runs outside. The hotel is right next to a large, open field and our pup loved it! Easy parking. The pool and hot tub was closed for the season and it's a bit small, but overall, everything was great!

Rooms were clean & friendly people. The breakfast offering could have been a little better but considering how many places even offer a breakfast these days I guess it was about par. The cell phone connection was pretty bad. Overall it wasn't a bad stay.

Chowchilla FFA stayed the night in Paradise this last Friday night before the Chico State Field Day. The motels in Chico fill up very quickly for this weekend. We were very pleasantly surprised on this motel, very high quality and a perfect distance to both Butte College and Chico State.

I made a reservation with no problem. On arrival, my check in was fast and easy. The overall cost was fair and the quality of the services very happy with. Friendly staff members and dedicated to there jobs, I could tell that by the way of how the hotel kept, very nice and clean. The room was well kept and stocked with towels everything needed for a comfortable stay . I found the beds to be very comfortable and clean. Free Wi-Fi and breakfast in the morning or coffee in the room,and did I mention a pool? Tom Bidet could learn a thing or two about quality. Sincerely a very happy customer

This place has been recently renovated. My room was spacious, quiet, clean,very nicely arranged and offered a frig and microwave. The staff was warm and responsive and were practically kind in accommodating an unexpected change in my schedule.

we just spent 2 nights in Paradise, Ca. There's really only 2 worthwhile hotels to stay at, the Best Western and the Ponderosa. We spent one night in each. The Best Western is our choice. clean rooms, the queen beds had 4 pillows each ( I love that). The breakfast was above average. nice showers, clean, comfortable, good service. better dollar value. We stayed on a Monday night, parking lot was 75% full.

We had a terrific stay at this hotel. The breakfast every morning was good.... the staff was always friendly and helpful .... and the hotel is new and clean....if you are traveling to Paradise CA stay here!

I was visiting my grand babies for our Christmas. The staff and hotel were perfect. The beds were comfortable and I had plenty of pillows. Thank you so much for making our stay so comfortable and being so helpful.

Outstanding place to stay. The staff really takes care of your needs. Didn't care for the breakfast though. They could do better with fresh fruits, pastries, cereals, better teas and other hot/cold beverages.

Hotel staff was friendly, knowledgeable and fun to deal with. Hotel room was clean and well kept. The setting of the hotel is absolutely beautiful. There are benches outside where you can sit and enjoy the views.

Presented voucher or gift card as printed and presented to clerk on duty They did not even know how to process this card.. It is very counter productive for me and my family to be promised a loyalty to Best western when earned voucher is not even used. I have never before had this experience at any Best Western. We have used Best Western for 13+ years as our Go to Motel but if this is not resolved in some matter I might change my loyalty.

Hotel has recently been taken over by Best Western. Staff was nice! Appears to have been revamped recently - all new paint, room appointments - and very clean. Did not use the pool/hot tub, but they look good. Breakfast was good, internet works well. Fitness center could use some updated equipment. Was very excited to find a Best Western in Paradise! When we initially looked, we didn't see any actual brands/chains as options, but found it had been taken over through comments!

This hotel is very nice and it's location worked well for us. The breakfast was great and convenient. Room was clean, bed was not comfortable. Service was excellent and staff was friendly. Restaurants are close by and are reasonable.

Looks like they just renovated recently. Beautiful hotel. Very clean. Breakfast had a good selection. Eggs, sausage, waffle maker, biscuits and gravy, bagels, cereal. Plenty of parking. Room was plenty big. Beds were very comfortable.

The paradise Lodge is now Best Western. Its been going through lots of renovation which is all complete now. It has completely new Lobby and breakfast Area. The Exercised room is much larger compare to previous one. The Guest rooms been completely renovated. The hot breakfast, Wifi, parking are all free. I enjoyed the hot tub and pool very much. Will come back soon.

Really nice hotel . It's clean , rooms are big and nice . The swimming pool and the hot tub were really clean and that spa area is really nice . The Wifi is fast everywhere on the property. After one month in motels all around california , Oregon and Washington this one was the best one for the price .

There are very few hotels in Paradise, CA. This is probably the best among them, but that's not saying much. The place is undergoing refurbishing, and the mess is understandable, but what isn't is why the walls are so thin, and with all that land, the pool is so small. (Don't be fooled by the picture on Hotels.com!) Also, WHY is breakfast only served until 9am? And, finally, WHY is there nowhere to plug in electronic devices?? They have updated the rooms and yet forgotten that people now need to recharge phones, tablets, etc. The pluses: there is a microwave and a fridge with very small freezer in the room.

We booked several nights here due to a horse show nearby. We'd stayed there previously ....but no one mentioned the remodel ...apparently there is an ownership change. There were workers all over the ground floor and it could be quite busy. Not very comfortable as a result. The upper floors were completed and quiet. The remodel seems to be mainly cosmetic (painting etc) but our room was clean, quiet, and had free wi-fi as well as a small frig and microwave. There is a sense of "work in process" with the staff people. Breakfast was free. The gym needs some maintenance. Overall a good stay but check for remodeling...and the local roadwork.

Bathroom and hottub leave a little to be desired but everything else is all new nice friendly clean and quiet. Not the easiest to get to from the main interstate but nice place for under $100. 00 a night.
