Front Desk Guy was polite and with smiling face. He greeted me with warm welcome. Breakfast was awesome. Lady in breakfast was also nice. House keeper kept my room clean for my entire stay. I am going to recommend other for this hotel.

Where do I start? If you're down for nasty, this is the place for you! As always, when we check into a hotel, we always check the bed, sheets, etc. Upon pulling the comforter and sheets back, there was a blood stain on the sheet. Hotel refused to give us a new room, so instead the front desk clerk and head of housekeeping came up to the room to change the sheets..To make matters even worse, the lady blamed the "Mexican" housekeepers for not understanding English and suggested that they should've stayed at Taco Bell... Blatant racists on top of nastiness! Never again will I stay at this hotel the next time we decide to visit Holiday World...

We stayed for 3 nights with our family and the entire stay was exceptional. The indoor pool was amazing. The staff was very helpful to the fact that they even gave us extra towels. They seemed busy but they kept up their kind smile and were helpful to everyone. Also the breakfast was so delicious. I would definitely stay here again.

It was okay they advertised bluegrass an was looking for old time real bluegrass but it was a mix of everything for rock to crazy screaming there was some good group that played the real old time true bluegrass

This BW+ motel in Owensboro, KY. FINALLY someone figured out what a handicap accessible shower should look like. Most of them just give you a handle to help you get into a bathtub, This one had a walk-in/roll-in shower with an adjustable spout and a seat to sit on. The staff was excellent in making sure we got what we needed. The breakfast was out-of-this world. The beds were short enough that I didn't have to lift my wife up to get on it. Kudos to this BW

We were traveling back home and decided to stop for the night because it was getting late. Great night sleep, new hotel with great beds and spacious rooms. Had a great breakfast and were back on the road in the morning. Were glad to see that the hot breakfast was back in all it's glory. Had gloves to wear for safety but did not use covid as an excuses to give us a sub par breakfast. Would stay here again.

Very clean hotel. Beds were comfortable. The beds are a little higher than normal beds so for a short person, it was not easy to get on them. The room was extremely clean. Would definitely book here again.

During my stay as I'm waiting on my home to be finished , the staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was clean and nice. All hotels should model after this one. Accommodations were amazing. Overall exceeded my expectations

The front desk staff were very thorough even though there was a trainee. The breakfast was very nice and the cook very friendly and we wandered in at 8:03 and she had no problem with us grabbing a quick bite for the road and wished us safe travels. We didn't use the pool or gym.

The Best Western Owensboro is a newer modern facility the rooms are clean and modern and the staff is always wonderful! Food and drinks are close by at the steak house across the street. You can't go wrong staying here

Room smelled of smoke. Crumbs were in the drawers. The closet door was ripped off. They did offer a great breakfast. There was an indoor pool for the kids to enjoy. Pets are allowed. Good location to restaurants.

The website for this hotel states pets not accepted. My wife is allergic and has asthma and certain pets cause an attack. Upon checking in we were informed that virtually every room had a pet in it because there had been a dog show in town. We would not have known pets were accepted here except for the fact that there was a sign on the front desk stating pets weren't allowed in the breakfast area. We told her that on the website it stated pets weren't accepted. She told us they always accepted pets. The manager then said she found a room that hadn't had pets in it. My wife only had mild allergic reactions during our stay so we feel the room was either cleaned really well or there hadn't been a pet in it. The hotel itself is a nice hotel and the breakfast was a plus with a lot of offerings.

Very nice comfortable hotel stay. However was disappointed in shower water pressure. Needed a better shower head because shower was a sprinkle. Otherwise very happy with room and hotel. Close to restaurants and shopping.

We took a weekend get away and decided to stay at the Best Western Plus in Owensboro KY. Check in was quick and easy, the staff at the front desk was great! Our king bed was super soft, the pillows the same! Breakfast in the morning was amazing! We weren't expecting gravy and biscuits, sausage, scrambled eggs, and waffles! The stay was great and we definitely recommend staying here! The only thing we'd wish they'd change is the toilet paper! It's really rough, we had to go purchase some for our stay, but it was still a great stay!!!!

I am from New York and came here in Owensboro to visit a client of mine and stay for 3 nights and it was just awesome. The whole staff was very friendly and kind. Breakfast was also amazing. The rooms and hotel was very clean. Comfy beds and huge room. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

Stayed here on 4th of July with the price over $140 but it was worth it. The room was very big in compare to other hotels and very clean. The front desk and breakfast staff were really nice and kind. We also went to the pool and enjoyed a lot. It was a great stay. I definitely recommend staying here. One of the best choices in Owensboro with the newest built. Thank you for your great service. Would definitely stay here again no matter what the price is.

The Telephone check in was a bit surprising but the Attendant response was immediately... The staff was very friendly - the location was convenient to everything ease of access to highways, shopping and restaurants

The hotel was EXCELLENT, Greeted immediately by the Front Desk, Quick Check in, Room was big and what I really liked is the lights in the ceiling that lit up the entire room. So many places are dim and yellow lights. So this is a nice touch. Everything you need is in the room, from bathroom stuff, to mini fridge, and microwave. They even have FREE breakfast (which many don't do due to Covid SMH Will STAY again!

Booked this Best Western for a overnight stay on a business trip, staff was super nice! Room was clean, stayed on the third floor and nice and quiet! And breakfast was fantastic! Liked the way they had it set up! As they had a lady with gloves and mask and you went up and told her what you wanted and she would fix the plate for you and hand it over, which was a great way to be safe! Price was good, easy to get in and out of, several places to eat around there.

In light of recent events, I am not on the road as I once was, 15 nights since March versus 3 days a week in normal times, but I decided to take a weekend trip down to this area for a bit of a mental health break. I booked here initially as I had some travel cards to use and this made for a convenient stop for the night. I was greeted to a clean lobby and friendly staff. Check-in went smoothly and I was soon up to the room. The bed was comfortable and I had an enjoyable relaxing evening. Unlike many hotels, this one is still offering a full breakfast offering, with the added benefit of being served up for you. That makes it sound like a premium service versus a way to meet health guidelines, right? All in all, I was very happy with this choice for my first visit to Owensboro. I have some events on my future calendar that will bring me to the area and this hotel will be my first choice on those upcoming visits.

Hotel is in a great location close to restaurants. The hotel it self looks brand new and the room was clean and the staff was friendly. I have stayed in multiple hotels and this one ranks with the best of them. I would stay here again if in the area

I love Best Western. This was a very comfortable stay. The staff was very nice and very helpful, very kind. Our room was spacious and clean and very contemporary. The had a very nice lobby and had a swimming pool available. I would highly recommend them.

Had a weekend getaway with my husband. Hotel was very nice, clean and pretty. Front desk staff was very nice and courteous during check in and check out. We live here in Owensboro, but needed some alone time. We would definitely stay here again.

We always stay here when we visit Owensboro, since they opened. Great location. Everyone is so friendly. Great breakfast and the rooms are really nice. Very comfortable beds and pillows. Shower is great too.

Great double bed room 101 to stay in on first floor. Very clean room & bathroom. Quiet & peaceful. Front desk clerk was very polite & helpful. We would stay here again. Very pleasant experience. Our 2 small dogs came with us, $25 extra charge for each to stay with us. Breakfast was included the next morning.

Super nice facility and great service. One thing that I would recommend changing is getting away from "blue lights". All of the lighting was super white, so to speak, because of the blue light spectrum. It does not lend itself to a totally relaxing atmosphere. For example, the clock light lit up the room and was not pleasant to look at when the room was dark.

In town for a youth football tournament and the staff was very accommodating. We were offered use of the dining area for a team dinner during our stay and to celebrate one of the boys birthdays, it was amazing!

wanted to go for a motorcycle ride. BW had a "stay 2 nights get 3rd stay free" going on so i picked a location that had a BW and road there. I had called the BW reservation # an hour or so before to make sure they had a room. Check in was fast and easy. Motel was newer so everything was in good working order. A nice steak house was within walking distance.

This Hotel room was exactly as shown on the website. BEAUTIFULLY decorated from carpet to walls, to beds/furniture! I just loved the colors of everything! Awesome turquoisey accent wall, Orange at foot of bed, Awesome carpet choices and colors! Made reservations online ahead of time/signed up with free BW Rewards and saved about $8 on rate. Traveling to Owensboro to visit family! My room had a walk in shower, which was nice. Granite counters. A plentiful breakfast from 6-9am that had *everything* you could possibly want, from eggs, sausage links, bacon, Belgian waffles, toast/bagels/muffins, Cereal, butter, jellies, peanut butter, cinnamon, whip cream, fruit, juices, coffees, teas - everything!...except water! haha... I asked for a water, and the sweet lady there was apologetic and said she forgot and would put some out tomorrow! Huge eating area, and I was the only one down there at 8:00am! But, since I am a picky polly and want full disclosure from others, I will let you know of the ONLY things that were NOT perfect! : Air Freshener in Lobby - Too Strong/Not necessary. 2 of us went 'Whoa' as soon as we walked in. I do not like strong scents. Something to consider for people with allergies, or who get migraines, etc. It is new, spotless. Let the new smell do the talking! Beds - I stayed in Room 225. Bed closest to the window felt like it was sloping towards the door, and that I may roll out in the night! Strange..but I thought I have this 2nd bed here..let me try it... thankfully, bed closest to the bathroom felt normal & perfect! However--- the beds are SO TALL, that I could barely get into it (and avoided getting back up, afterwards, because I didn't want to hoist myself back in it again!). I am 5'6 with long legs, and I couldn't help thinking that this would definitely be an issue with elderly people, or short people. There would be No way, without a step stool. Otherwise, they were very soft and comfortable. There is just no lounging in the bed, because it takes effort to get IN it for me. Pillows - A bit too thick for my liking.. but they were nice & squishy, so they did mash. Generous, with 4 per bed!! Shower curtain - Small pencil eraser size stain at eye level that looked like blood? Toilet -- SUPER LOUDDDDDD!! I even avoided flushing after 11pm, fearful of disturbing any one next door! Refrigerator - Loudly Cutting on and off all night, kept me awake/woke me up (light sleeper) until finally at 2:30am, I got up and thought to unplug it, before making the climb back into my tall bed and then sleeping like a log until 5:30am when I awoke to people leaving their rooms/letting their doors close loudly in the hall. Door - This is a new hotel, and has obviously settled, because my deadbolt in Room 225 would not lock/line up, until I leaned into my door when locking OR unlocking. I alerted front desk of this upon leaving. So - as I stated, those little things were just *little* and I had a very enjoyable stay in a spotless room. I was very happy with the cleanliness and would stay here again without hesitation!

Stayed in room 102. The energy efficient toilets are so loud when you flush, literally would wake anyone sleeping in the other room! Elevator service closet backs up to this room. Every time the elevator was used you could hear it. High ceilings and tile floors in hallway so very noisy when people were in hall talking or checking in and out. Hotel is very modern and clean. Breakfast was what you would expect but hot food was very salty. Conveniently located near restaurants, shopping and interstate.

The room was beautifully decorated and very clean. The staff were all very courteous and friendly. And we really enjoyed the breakfast every morning. The hotel is also centrally located around tons of restaurants and retail stores.

Has everything you expect and shiny new and clean. Great Check-in Experience. First time we got a mobile pre-registration, and it was great. We were able to do that the day before check-in. Super large and nice breakfast area with anything you could want.

This is a new property and the employees are great and treat you like family. Restaurants close by within walking distance. If I'm in area again, I will definitely stay here. Room rate and breakfast was awesome!

The people at front desk was friendly and helpful.The rooms are really nice. I will definitly stay there again. The bed was comfortable and had good nights sleep. I would recommend this hotel to everyone. It was great. The breakfast bar was really good.

Our third visit here and will definitely be back! Clean, spotless rooms and an amazing staff! No joke! We travel to Owensboro to visit my sister and have stayed here! We will return and gladly stay more often if necessary!

This is outside of the downtown area but a very close drive to it. We easily got to Fetta Pizza and the Bluegrass Hall of Fame and also a Kroger from this hotel. Breakfast is included. Free wifi. The lobby is nicely done with places for groups traveling together to sit. The bed was comfortable. Our room contained one king bed. The room looked like it was meant to hold two queens so we had lots of room to walk around.

We stayed here for a family birthday over a holiday weekend. The breakfast was substantial and they never ran out of popular items. The room was very clean and tastefully decorated. They only replaced the towels left on the floor to save on the water. Friendly and helpful desk service. A delightful trip and stay in the hotel. Variety of food choices nearby. Had a beautiful view of the farm behind the hotel.

The hotel was in a great location and very clean. It was about 25 miles from Holiday World which was very convenient. There are plenty of stores and restaurants in the area. The Free Breakfast was very good

Stayed 2 nights for a family wedding. Lobby is extremely welcoming. rooms were clean, beds are the newer high mattresses, which could be a problem for short or elderly people. Breakfast had a selction of hot and cold food. My only complaint were the powdered eggs, they are terrible from the smell to the taste. For the cost of the room real eggs or even egg beaters would be my choice.

This hotel is brand new and tastefully decorated. It is kept very clean, and it was such a pleasure to have such a nice room. The bed was one of the most comfortable we have ever slept in! The breakfast had great variety for its offerings, and the hotel manager went out of her way to serve our group. The pool is small, but nice to have available too. We highly recommend this hotel!

The hotel was nice and comfortable. We only stayed one night but did have a hot water issue the next morning.....it took awhile for the water to heat but once it did all was good. I did report it to front desk. You could hear the hall noise too well for my liking.

I was staying in Owensboro KY for the first time for a dog show. I chose the Best Western even though it was further away from the venue. I am glad I did. It was very clean and the staff was friendly and helpful. If I return to Owensboro, I will be staying at the Best Western again.

We stayed one night at this hotel during a trip to Holiday World. First off, the outside and inside of this hotel is extremely clean, well kept, and beautifully decorated/landscaped. The lady who checked us in was super friendly and welcoming. We got to our room and it was probably one of the cleanest and most well lit hotel rooms I've ever seen. I'm very particular about where I stay and the cleanliness of the place and this hotel did not disappoint in the least bit. We had breakfast downstairs the next morning and both agreed that it was extremely good for a complimentary hotel breakfast. Lots of great choices, well stocked, and again, everything was super clean! The attendant was also very friendly and attentive. Coffee was delicious! They offer express check-out so when we were ready to take off we left the room keys on the nightstand and breezed right out the door. We plan on getting season passes to Holiday World next year and we plan on staying at this hotel every time we're up there. Would recommend it to anyone!

We were there for an overnight volleyball tournament. I would recommend this hotel to any I have stayed in the past. It has been opened no more than a year. It is very clean, nice staff and a good breakfast. It is central to several restaurants and activities In Owensboro.

Great place, friendly staff and very very clean (most important when traveling).Would recommend. Breakfast lacked, had to stop for a biscuit after leaving. First time staying at a Best Western Plus, glad to see chain is being revived.

Excellent room. Very friendly and nice people. Super friendly staff. I even left note in room telling them thank you. But do need step stool to get on bed. I am old and short with artificial knees. That was hard the bed us up to middle of my hip. And my husband did fall in a hole in their front yard. But he is ok. Just couldn't see hole cause grass grown over it. But he is fine we will be more careful from now on. But thank you for the awesome stay

This was my first time staying at a Best Western Plus. I was very satisfied with the room and service. The hotel seems very new. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and the location was convenient. It is located off a major street which has many restaurant options. I will definitely be staying here again!

Best Choice. Fairly new, property looks nice and a very good experience. Well worth it, I will be back there. All the restaurants, stores, and anything else you could be looking for is there. Most in walking distance.

Good evening! As I write this review, I'm reminded of a truly exceptional and Well kept property! And this Best Western Plus Is Just That! From the moment you walk in your are surrounded by a very modern and upscale decor, Not over the top just clean and inviting. My Desk clerk could see I had a long evening traveling From Trenton NJ/Trexlertown Pa. It was almost midnight. And had to be up at 6am the following Morning. The room was large and nicely laid out. Huge bathroom. Nice comfortable chair. Bed was up high and super comfortable and supportive. Pillows soft and scrunchable! Yes the hotel is brand new! But there efforts keep it that way! A awoke to one of the best complimentary breakfasts I've ever gotten from a property. The Owners Tammy & and her spouse work very hard. And even Tammy herself was doing housekeeping. I needed to clean up my rental car and Tammy nicely loaned me a bottle of windex and a roll of paper towels and no charge! How nice! The shower head accidentally broke off. And the owner was there in minutes to bring a new one and more towels. And apologized for the inconvenience. My housekeeper I Think her name was Krista Was incredible! And always did a awesome job at cleaning the room. The location was outstandingly as well near the mall. And just off the Wendell Ford Expressway. One minor problem, Was hardly the owners fault. On Sat evening a ball team. Kids little league came in and kids where running up and down the halls and slamming doors. The young lady at the desk was very kind calling patents and asking the kids to be more respectful. I finally asked one of the kids where there parents where? They where downstairs talking. I told them the where be wild and needed to calm down, Or we could all go down stairs and have a talk with there parents! This calm things down and I could get to sleep, Kids will be kids. You can't blame the kids. Just the parents not supervising and letting them be wild! It really was a absolutely amazing stay. Don't you dare miss this one! My wife and I will be returning hopefully in July! ThankYou Again for your hospitality! This is my new home in Owensboro Ky when coming back to my home state! Absolutely beautiful both inside and out. This is a fairly new place and EVERYTHING has been done right! Friendly people in a wonderful atmosphere. The room was clean, bright nicely laid out and comfortable. Good wi-fi. Excellent breakfast. Easy checkin and out. Can't say enough nice things about this stay! Would stop here again in a heartbeat. HIGHLY recommend. Lots of nice restaurants in walking distance. All in all a great experience. WAY TO GO!

Went with a group of close girlfriends on a road trip. Booked a Room At Best Western Plus in Owensboro. We had the best experience here. The Pool is Amazing and the Staff went out of their way to make our Stay comfortable and hassel Free. Made recommendations of places to Eat as well as Great places for Cocktails. Without hesitation, I can say that my stay at this property exceeded any of my experiences in the last 400 motel stays I've had in the last three years. The room was perfect. I was especially impressed with the full-room lighting as opposed to having to work around the typical lighting patterns normally found in motels. There are dozens of dining options within minutes of the location. Everything was first class: my room, the overall facility, the staff, and the location. Worth every penny!!!!!

My wife and I stayed here for two nights this past week. We were in town for family business, not for leisure, so we didn't want to spend a lot of money. This place wasn't the cheapest in town, but looked like it would be one of the best values for money. It turns out that was correct. This hotel is very new, and appears to be very well maintained so far. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. The room was very comfortable. My only complaint is that we heard a bit of noise from other rooms both nights. It was noticeable, but certainly not unbearable. Lastly, the breakfast was pretty good. The staff did an excellent job of keeping the breakfast area clean and fully stocked. I would definitely stay here again.

Had not stayed at this hotel before before, but did because usual locations were already booked. Would make this my first choice on next trip to this town. Room and best were excellent. Breakfast was "the usual" but good. No complaints

We checked in and were greeted by Lois, who is a good asset to this hotel. She was friendly and held conversation with us while checking in. The room was great as well! Obviously this is a new place, so everything was in great shape. Bed was comfy, room was really clean, shower was great. Kuerig coffee maker with all types of creamer in the lobby was an added bonus! Breakfast was great, offering sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, and the usual continental stuff. Check-out was just as pleasant as check-in. If going to Owensboro again, this is where we will stay again.

Let me preface this with noting that I have stayed in at least 30+ hotels around the United States including other Best Westerns and this one was by far the worst customer service experience I've ever had. My husband and I decided to book my in-laws a room as a Valentine's Day surprise since they had decided to visit from Evansville. We had just moved into a new home that night and they were in town to see the new house and help us get situated. The hotel itself is new and decent, so we decided to give it a shot - that's the only upside. Our in-laws invited our kids (their grandchildren ages 7 and 4) to come and swim with them at the hotel pool. We arrived and were greeted. I was asked if I needed service. I told the lady at the desk we did not and we were meeting my in-laws in the lobby. She persisted to ask several questions that came off as interrogation. I was polite and responded, and shortly after my in-laws arrived to give us their room key so we could go change our kids into their swimsuits. We went upstairs and spent no longer than five whole minutes in the room just getting our kids dressed. Naturally, they were excited. My oldest son, I might mention, has Autism and sometimes when he gets excited he yells, jumps, or dances. He did do this in the room a few times but we quieted him down and again - we were in the room no longer than 5 minutes. After 3 minutes, the front desk called and said there was a noise complaint from an older couple staying nearby. My husband apologized and by this time, everyone had settled down. We exited the room, walked down the hall, and took the elevator down to the first floor. Upon arrival, the same woman asks what room we were in and promptly informs us, in front of everyone in the lobby, that they have “Already received two complaints and if they get any others they will cancel the room and all money will be lost and we will be forced to vacate the premises.” So, we apologized again and went to the pool. I decided to try to find a public downstairs restroom to change my children in when we left because the staff was so rude. I felt like we would get kicked out and lose our money all because my kids, one with autism, were a little excited for a five minute time span. This was also around 7pm, not late at all. Now that I've had this experience, I can say I will never book this hotel again, I will not recommend it to friends, and I will never book another Best Western nationally. Any place that's going to treat me and my children like we are somehow inferior will not have the privilege of getting my money. PS: Did I mention that the housekeeper walked in on my father-in-law while he was using the restroom the next morning too?

Our stay was amazing! Staff was very courteous upon check-in and informed us she would make chocolate chip cookies if requested! She gave clear instructions and directions. The pool was amazing, the beds were even better! Best nights sleep we've had in a long time!

We stayed at the Best Western Plus, it was great, just recently built so very beautiful. Within a short walk was several well know national restaurans. Located close to the highway bypass around Owensboro but no noise from it or any traffic overflow near the hotel. Very friendly at welcome desk and a large area for several guest to visit with out being constricting. The free breakfast and it's area is one of the top places n food choices in memory of places we stayed. We thought we got a great price for the quality of our stay

As i entered the beautiful lobby a nice young lady named Yasmín greeted me and the continued to check me in, informed me off all of their services and amenities the hotel had. I was giving my key and headed to my room, my first impression of the room was amazing, nice clean beds, nicely decorated bathroom and night stands.
