Best Western Plus Hotel Parkside Inn & Suites, Olney

This was a family trip. The employees at this hotel are extremely friendly and helpful. From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, every employee was over the top nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable. We enjoy the complimentary coffee provided in the lobby. It is a pleasant place to sit and visit with friends. The breakfast was delicious. I would definitely stay at this location again.

The staff, the location, the modern decor that reflects the history of the local community and unique locations throughout the area was remarkable. Nicest best western plus I have stayed in to date, and I frequently stay in these when I travel for work or pleasure.

Our stay was great. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. My 6'4" husband loved the shower. Everything was very clean. Wonderful breakfast. Staff was kind and friendly. We would definitely stay here again.

My first stay was this week and I was not disappointed. EVERYTHING was fantastic. All areas I visited were clean and pleasantly decorated, the staff was efficient and friendly. The breakfast buffet was vast and tasty. You won't be disappointed. Enjoy!

This is a very nice hotel. The staff are always very courteous and helpful. The breakfast is great. Delicious and lots of variety. The ladies in there take pride in their job and it shows. Would recommend!

Our stay was very nice. The staff were friendly & efficient. Our room was clean & comfortable. Our room was near the elevator which was a bit noisy at night. We made coffee in the room since we are cautious dining around others due to COVID.

This was the nicest hotel breakfast I have ever encountered. Clean. Fresh. And the selection included just about everything….waffles, eggs, bacon, biscuits, gravy, sausage, toast, bagels, pancakes, cereal, muffins, yogurt, several juices and milk plus coffee.

The hotel is clean and modern. Breakfast starts super early which is great. The breakfast room was always full and the food was fresh. Employees were friendly and always willing to help. This hotel has some of the most comfortable beds and pillows.

Due to unexpected home issues, we needed a hotel close to where we were staying originally. I was able to walk in and get just what I needed. The entire staff is excellent. The hotel is very clean and you have access to pretty much anything you need.

I would stay here again over other higher-brand hotels in larger cities. The hotel is clean and fresh. My room was extremely comfortable with all items in working order and a nice little view out the back window. I don't know much about birds or bird watching, but there were species flying around out back that I hadn't seen before, and they were beautiful. The hotel is right across from the City Park, is close to shopping areas (if you need to grab anything while in town), and several restaurant options.

Although located in a small town, this hotel beats out the best of major market places. The STAFF were so =very nice ( a small town plus ) and accommodating. They did everything to make our stay enjoyable and WELCOMING. The hotel is 3 years old but we thought it was just opening because everything...everything... was clean, bright, shiny, and in working order. Even the grout in the public areas on the floor tile was clean....a small detail but absolutely essential to judge the quality of maintenance. We just happen to visit another major brand hotel and it was rundown and dirty. We had chosen the BEST...and BEST WESTERN PLUS is a true statement for this winner. PS....AND the breakfast food quality was also BEST...with great variety ....not just your ordinary breakfast.

The hotel staff made this stay enjoyable along with great amenities and clean rooms and common areas. The breakfast had many choices, including gluten free and non-dairy, and an employee in charge of the breakfast who went above and beyond. All-in-all one of the best hotel experiences I've had.

Great place to stay. Staff is super friendly and very knowledgeable about the area. Food was decent with a nice variety. Had meat, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Wifi needs to be reconnected after midnight.

This was a gathering for a family funeral, and what a welcoming and hospitable location we found here! The entire hotel from lobby to guest rooms was kept in spotless condition and very comfortably accommodated our large family during our difficult time. The staff consistently went above and beyond to assist us in any way they could, and the amenities provided the perfect "home away from home" for us. Would definitely recommend this location for any future stay!

Stayed before and was a pleasant experience. This time had a barking dog in the room next to us. Went to sleep, woke up through the night and woke up early to the dog barking. When we spoke to the front desk in the morning the response was “Wow, that would be annoying “.

We stayed at this hotel several nights to go to a funeral. New, clean and nice building. Very friendly and helpful staff. By far the best hotel in the area. We highly recommend it. Has free breakfast also. And pool and fitness center.

We loved staying at the BW!! It was perfect to visit our Mother- Great Grandmother! We will be doing it again in the future! We enjoyed the morning breakfast! And my grand daughters enjoyed swimming in the pool!

You can't get better than this hotel. The staff are friendly, the rooms are clean, the beds are comfortable, and the breakfast is amazing. We enjoyed the pool, fitness center, and the fire pit outside (briefly because it was cold outside when we stayed).

Overall great stay! The hotel still feels brand new even though it's been open 2 years. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast the first morning was a little then due to the high volume of hunters staying there, but no issues the following morning. We appreciated them opening breakfast early for us!!

We were in the area for a funeral and we so pleased to find such a gem of a hotel. It was clean, comfortable and the staff were all very friendly. The breakfast was hot, fresh and the selection great.

The Best Western place is a great place to stay, clean and nice, beds are comfortable and they have an amazing breakfast and huge area for seating. We were in town for the weekend for our sons wedding. Made for a nice weekend. Was nice to come back and have a nice clean comfortable room to stay in. Highly recommend.

Everyone from the front desk, to housekeeping was excellent! The rooms are beautifully done, the linens are great for this price range hotel. I highly recommend this property for business, or pleasure.

We were in town for a college visit. The hotel was very clean and well kept. Breakfast was great with good options and very fresh. The shower head was higher than most hotel showers which is great for tall guests.

Pubic hair everywhere. Pretty much says it all. Internet worked periodically. Tub backed up during shower................yuck. Opened sugar packets under the edge of the bed. Alarm clock went off at 540 in the morning. The screen was broke so we could not turn it off. It was plugged in behind the wood on the wall. We could not even unplug it. The girl at the desk when we called to ask how had no answers.

This is the best Hotel with in 50 miles of Olney. Off the highway, everything in the is done quite nice, clean and spacious room with a large bathroom, large TV, frig and microwave. Comfortable bed with quality sheets.

EXCELLENT staff, very helpful and attentive. The whole place was very Clean. The pool was OPEN. I was on the road for 11 days and the two night i spent here were the best sleeping of the trip. The bed was epic!

What a great place to stay while vising family in Olney, IL. This new lodging option was a real breath of fresh air and will definitely be used again and again. It was over the top clean and comfortable with great amenities. The staff couldn't have been nicer. Kudos!

In town for softball tournament. Hotel is clean. Indoor pool open. Free breakfast and decent tasting. Staff friendly. Adequate parking. Nearby restaurants. Outdoor patio seating. 3 floors in this hotel.

I never expected to have a hotel experience as I had at the new Best Western Plus Parkside Inn & Suites in Olney. It was great and I was impressed from the minute I entered. The facility is new and even had the "new construction" smell. The lobby is lovely, welcoming, and extremely well-appointed. The guest room was large with two queen beds, a comfortable chair and ottoman, a desk and chair, and ample storage space. The bathroom was large with a walk-in shower and the best mirror lighting you could hope for in any motel or hotel bathroom. High ceilings added to the overall appearance of spaciousness. And the view! Wow. After a very long day of driving through five states and Atlanta, Chattanooga, and Nashville, the view was the perfect relaxation I needed. The breakfast was extensive and fresh, with an aid on premises replenishing the choices. The adjoining breakfast area was large with very nice table seating. It was an impressive place and a great stay. I will be back!

The staff was very friendly and helpful; when we had any questions, they were happy to help. The room was very clean. The hotel is fairly new and is up to date. Also, even though we were close to the elevator, the hotel was quiet. We would love to stay here again when we are in the area.

My son & I stayed for 1 night. The hotel is so new & clean. The pool was big & just the right temp. Looking out the windows in the pool area, you did not even know you were in town because you could see a field, a pond & a barn. Very quite hotel & peaceful!! Loved the walk in huge shower!!! Would definitely stay again!!

I travel for work in Albion and happen to stumble upon this great place!!! SO happy I did. Great service, Fantastic warm staff, great breakfast and snacks...I look forward to my stay again next week!!

Beautiful place, they sell sleep! Amazing staff! The whole team there is amazing! From the front desk staff, to kitchen staff, to the house keepers, including the GM - Just Amazing people! Could not get better then them.

Booked a room for traveling salesman... the job got done a day earlier than expected. They still charged for the extra night. We will not be using this facility again nor recommend for any other travelers we have visiting the area.

We apologize that we failed to meet your expectations. The hotel check-out time is 11 am and check-in time is 3 pm. Unfortunately, the sales person checked out around 2:30 pm, and after housekeeping was finished for the day.

Very nice new facility with a superb caring and helping staff. Rooms are clean and neat, with nice styles in furnishings. Breakfast is nice using individually wrapped items to avoid covid problems. Overall a very nice place to stay.

We enjoyed everything except the noise level. Above us were a very noisy group of workers that apparently do not sleep as the next morning when I finally fell asleep was awoken by yelling downstairs because the boss was mad that some didn't show up to work yes I hear that from our room... But without that it would've been perfect!

We apologize for the noisy disruptive guest incidents that occurred during your stay. We try to prevent excessive noise by having quiet hours each day starting at 9 pm, but it seems we failed in this area. Thank you for bringing it to our attention, and we will try to do better in the future.

They ladies at the front desk am and pm shifts. where so helpful and understanding. they went above and beyond to accommodate my family over the weekend. rooms are very clean and super comfortable beds . Love it !

Great clean hotel with super helpful staff. Rooms are very comfortable. Relaxing backyard seating area on paved concrete. One of the nicer gym setups I have seen in hotels. I visit the area often and Best Western Parkside is by far my preferred hotel. They are currently building a convention hall to accommodate weddings and so on so it's only getting better. Staff will bend over backwards to make sure you are well taken of.

My favorite thing was the cleanliness and decor. Most hotels use clashing patterns and colors. This was beautiful hotel. It was quiet so I was able to sleep well.I will stay here again on my future trips.

This is a new hotel in Olney, Il. It is priced higher than most hotels in the area most likely because it is new. It was very clean and quiet. Their is a park across the street but the sitting areas are filled with birds and bird poop. :( There are a few uncovered tables. The staff is very nice and are observing Covid-19 protocol by wearing masks and providing hand sanitzer. We did not notice any staff temperature checks or cleaning. Housekeeping is on a "request" basis--rooms are not cleaned during your stay unless it is requested to keep personal interaction at a minimum. Masks are strongly encouraged (not required) due to a recent outbreak of the virus in the area. We did not feel unsafe regarding Covid-19; but were unaware of the recent outbreak in Olney prior to our visit. The interior and design of the hotel is very nice. It is very quiet even with all the construction workers in the area/staying at the hotel. The parking lot seems too small for the amount of rooms, and even when it was not full; parking was disappointing. Be aware that Olney is small town and restaurant options are limited even without the dine-in/pickup restrictions of Covid-19. Monicals Pizza is good but available only as pickup. All in all, it is presently a nice, clean, quiet hotel to stay at while in the Olney area. We will definitely consider it for any future stays in the area.

This is a new, very clean, and welcoming hotel. It is a great location. The Olney City Park is across the street making it a great chose for all events you want to attend in that location. It has a great pool and fitness center as well. I recommend this hotel very highly. Very COMFORTABLE beds!!!

Clean, clean, clean!! No carpeting, tile and laminate flooring which is so much cleaner. Nice graphic pattern on the wall in the bathroom. Big, filed shower. Friendly, helpful staff, pool was sparkling and heated, grandkids had a lot of fun. Glass containers in the lobby of ice water and infused water (cucumber and strawberry). A lot of options for breakfast including gluten free options.

I hadn't stayed at a BW in 30 years, but WOW! The hotel itself was sparkling clean, the room was tasteful and comfortable, and Jamie at the front desk was spectacular! She knew us by name THE NEXT MORNING! The breakfast staff was helpful and friendly, too. HIGHLY recommend this property. If I'm even remotely in the area, we will stay here for sure.

Bill checked us in and was super pleasant and very welcoming. I don't usually remember peoples names unless they make a great impression! The room was spotless. The breakfast was well stocked, the beds were comfortable and choice of pillow. It was if I was sleeping at home. You can tell everything was carefully selected! Only thing to watch out for if you are trying to find it at night it is hard to find as it is not right on the road. I am old and have a hard time seeing at night! I would give it a 10!!!!

Amazing stay! I stayed here for a business trip and was not expecting a hotel this great. The decor was so nice. Loved the design on the rooms. Great cable and wifi. So clean and very nice. I wish I had time to use the fitness center, it looked so nice.

I have stayed at hotels and inns around the world, and this lovely, new, non-smoking hotel was my favorite. It had an ambience of warmth, total comfort, and friendliness. My daughter (who is a flight attendant) and I, stayed an extra day just to enjoy our immaculate room, the wonderful breakfast and the accommodating staff.

Veery nice, clean comfortable place to stay. Used to stay in Flora or Newron due to lack of clean, comfortable hotel rooms. This new hotel is clean, bright, and has the most friendly, caring staff. Breakfast area bright and cheery. Great selection of breakfast items. Hotel conveniently located near city park and Olney Central College. I highly recommend Best Western Parkside Inn and Suites in Olney.

Nice rooms, helpful friendly people, very good full breakfast. The breakfast included eggs, sausage,ham, cereals, fruit, pancakes and waffles, and many choices of beverages. Beds were comfortable. Coffee all day. Great tasting infused water. Close parking. Very nice 2 day stay.

My family and I stayed here Thanksgiving night with our small dog. A few times a year, we travel to see relatives in Albion and usually stay at the Super 8 in Grayville. This place makes the extra miles to Albion more than worth it. So clean and new. The staff was absolutely wonderful and so caring. So nice to see people taking pride in their work. Keep it up!

Beautiful, new construction hotel. Rooms are modern and very clean. Hotel staff was friendly and hotel common areas were clean. Continental breakfast had many options. Coffee was always full and hot. Exercise room is clean and offers free weights and bands.

We visit my elderly mother in Albion a few times a year, and need our own space. The Grayville Super 8 is closer for us, but they only have double beds. This new motel in Olney is very nice, has queen beds, limited allowance for a dog, well-equipped with pool and fitness room, and beautiful. I think we'll be driving the extra 15 miles back-and-forth going forward.

Stayed in hotel because there wasn't room for us at family's house. Nice and clean room, comfortable bed, hot shower and amazing breakfast. No fault of the hotel, had some loud walking people in room above us and being by the stairs we could hear people coming and going in the middle of the night.

What a welcome upgrade to Olney lodging! The other hotel/motels have been there for years & look it! We moved from Olney many years ago & haven't often stayed in a motel/hotel there but BW now offers a very modern, clean, attractive choice! Thanks for investing in Olney! (Now if there were only some better restaurant options....)

It's under a year old. The room roofs have to be 14 ft high... Room was spotless. The check-in was fast. I even got a gift for my dog Tobie. There was a $30 charge. No problem. Check out was fast and friendly.

This is a newer facility with all the bells and whistles. Beautiful lobby and breakfast area and the rooms were amazing! Very large bathroom and guest room. Some features of the room: Microwave, refrigerator, large, LED TV, DirectTV satellite provider, under the bed lighting, plenty of power and data ports, high-speed internet, iron and ironing board. The beds were among some of the softest ever!

Wonderful stay! Beautiful new, clean hotel in Olney. Open lobby with fire feature, spacious check in area, pantry to buy snacks. Free hearty, delicious breakfast with pancakes, waffles, biscuits and gravy, sausage and bacon, oatmeal with all the fixings. Scrambled eggs, yogurt, cinnamon toast, muffins, Bagels, fresh fruit and coffee, juices and flavored waters. The beds are comfortable with upscale linens. Donna and Megan were very helpful, as well as all the staff we encountered. Just a wonderful stay while we enjoyed the Harvestfest at Berryville Vineyards!

It's worth going a few extra miles to experience this brand new hotel. Wonderful staff and brand new features. The "backyard" features a great patio with firepit, Indoor swimming pool, exercise room, computer work area and meeting room in addition to welcoming lobby area. Breakfast area with dedicated dining room. Warm and welcoming staff.

Great new hotel for Olney. Great location across from the park. Nice breakfast buffet with many choices for different tastes. No carpet in the room which makes it easier to keep clean but it did have an echo since carpet will absorb sound. We will definitely be back.

We had a great time staying here! Fast checking in and out, very clean and I was very pleased with the patio area and morning breakfast! I am definitely coming back for a weekend solo getaway. Not over crowded. Just wish the pool was open later.

Wonderful staff! So friendly and nice. Breakfast was excellent. Pool was great. My husband and enjoyed our get a way night. So glad we stayed here. Hotel was nicly decorated. Employees took real pride in their jobs and you could tell.

Good Front desk service. Good choices for breakfast good coffee . The parking lot is a maze of curbs which need to become more visible. The rooms were very clean. Of course they should be the place has only been open for four months.( too young for any mould to have started growing)

Exterior and interior building very clean. Front desk attendant very friendly and helpful. Large selection of food available for breakfast. Rooms smelled like new carpet. Furniture very tasteful and clean.

My husband and I stopped at Olney, IL on our way home from Springfield. As a youngster, this is the route taken from Murfreesboro, TN, to Rock Island, IL, each year to visit his grandparents. We decided to stay the night at the Best Western. Had just opened in May, and we were beyond pleased with the staff and the room. Dalton was helpful, advising where we might eat (try HV's Diner down the road - awesome food). The room was clean and comfortable, and really like the layout of the bathroom. Tall shower head is a must. Location was great, right on the main highway, and close to downtown.

New building in a town that needed a new hotel. Friendly staff; lots of options for breakfast; staff working breakfast are very helpful. Had a queen suite room that was larger than normal with a large bathroom.

We stayed 2 nights at the BWP in Olney Il. Our suite was pristine. Wi-fi connect easy, 2 great TVs w/ multiple channels, extremely clean, beautiful decor, bed was very soft and comfy, great pool, cozy area to sit outside with a fire pit, the lobby area was relaxing, the complimentary breakfast was wonderful, all staff welcoming, kind and accommodating. Located directly across from the city park with an accessible trail to take a nice walk.. loved our stay

Great place. New and employees very helpful. We even got upgraded because we booked handicap by mistake and they needed it. Breakfast was very good and included. Housekeeping did a great job. Will stay here again next year.

I've watched this hotel being built and Olney definitely needed an upper class hotel. This is one beautiful business. Rooms are large, high ceilings, nice amenities, everything works as it should. Breakfast is more than adequate, hot sausage, gravy and eggs. Highly recommend this establishment to everyone!

The rooms are nice and comfortable, with top notch amenities! The bathroom is luxurious and the bed is comfortable. The room has a large mini fridge, and big screen tv, with DirecTV service. The lobby is open and welcoming, and the breakfast is your typical hot breakfast. While I didn't use the pool, it looked great.

I stayed at the hotel for one night last weekend as I was meeting movers to pack up my belongings because we are moving. I felt like I was in a resort when I walked into the main lobby. The entire hotel is absolutely gorgeous. The room was great down to the towel monkey hanging in the bathroom and the note left on the night stand from the 3 Musketeers Housekeeping staff. The breakfast staff and front desk staff were also very friendly and accommodating. Great job Best Western Plus Parkside Suites.

My wife and I were traveling to visit relatives near Olney, IL. The choice of hotel appeared limited to older, somewhat run down motels. Then we discovered the new Park Side Best Western. I called their direct number and spoke with Whitney, a very pleasant Front Desk Manager. The facility wasn't open, but she said it would soo. She took my number and called the next day to say they were open for business. We booked a king, first floor room. I should mention that I'm a Lifetime Titanium in the new Marriott BonVoy, so I'm a frequent stayer and used to Marriott Style rooms and staff. I was blown away at the BW. The room was a nice as any Marriott room, clean, neat, well decorated, comfortable bed, etc. The staff were so helpful - from my first call to check in with Donna to breakfast with Bill, everybody was overly helpful. The lobby layout was super, a separate side room for breakfast, so the lobby stayed neat and available to meet and greet. The food was likewise, very good, plentiful presented in a nice layout. Overall a five plus for a small town hotel that's comparable to a big city full service Marriott or Hilton. We'll stay there many more times.
