Perfect clean place! Drop and go kinda atmosphere but place to also sit outside. Our room was small but efficient.. the only thing I recommended was an extra luggage stand. We weren't there long enough to unpack so that would have been handy but no complaints overall! I would definitely go again!

Clean, modern, and close to beach..

Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 day stay at The Atlantic. Our room was very clean, newly renovated (very nice) and accessible to all of the surrounding area. Close to the boardwalk and restaurant and having a breakfast/lunch restaurant located in the hotel was also very convenient. Looking forward to staying here again soon.

Prime location, decent rooms. They provide this cute little tote bag and beach tags. Free parking. Bed mostly comfortable. Only minor issue was draping that allowed for other guests/ employees to see into the room. Also walls seem thin, can easily hear those outside and next adjacent rooms. Will book here again when staying in OC.

This location is fantastic. It was a short walk to an amazing restaurant, Capo Estrada's. We had breakfast every day at Brendan's Café. There was a soft ocean breeze and the service was excellent. Every day we walk to the boardwalk and went to the beach it was a fantastic value and an incredible location. Next time I'll jump in the pool, but I didn't really have time for it. The Beach called me. The room itself was totally renovated The shower was spotless and the water pressure was excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the air conditioning was perfect. The smart television was able to stream everything that I wanted to watch at the end of the day. I will stay here again.

Great hotel. Super close to the boardwalk. Very clean rooms. My only complaint is that it would be nice if there were more room around the pool for additional chairs. The service, the employees and the stay were great. This was my second time staying here. Exactly what you need for a stay down the shore. Also, I appreciated the beach tags that were included with the stay. Thank you!

This is our 2nd year staying here now and we love it. The pool is nice and clean. The rooms are clean and comfortable. I really enjoyed the little coffee maker addition this year. We also enjoy Brenda's Cafe. Plus can't beat the location to the beach and boards.

If I could give this place zero stars I would. Worst hotel I've ever stayed in. The staff was rude and unprofessional. The room had clumps of hair hanging from the lamps, stained sheets, dirt on the floor. Don't even think about showing up a second early. Even with everyone checked out from their stay and more than half the parking lot open, they still will not give you your complimentary beach passes and won't let you park in the lot. I've gotten to many hotels early and always received my passes even tho I couldn't get in the room. Had to pay extra for parking and to get on the beach. Also, once you park don't move your car. Or you'll have to park in a second parking lot blocks away that no one will verbally warn you about. Extremely inconvenient for families with little children. We also had a broken chair in the room that my son fell off of and almost hit his head on the metal of the bed bc the back was almost completely off. Very unsafe and a lawsuit ready to happen. They'll pretend for days there's no manager on duty when trying to speak to someone. Gave all my information for someone to call me after I left and it's been a week no one's called me and no one answers the phone. I would never recommend this place to anyone. Especially families with little children. Do yourself a favor and stay any where else. It'll save you a lot of headaches .

We just arrived home from our stay at the Atlantic. We were very pleased with our stay this week, the comforts of the room and the quality service. The pool area in the courtyard offered privacy from the outside, it was clean and had a great seating area in the courtyard with tables and chairs that was very inviting. There is a great Mexican restaurant connected to the hotel called Brenda's. The service there was very friendly…we went in one day 15 minutes before closing time and they invited us in where we enjoyed the freshest meal we had all week…freshly made tortillas and salsa and an amazing authentic Mexican flan and ice cream. There's a great coffee place called Holidays right across the street with hot and iced coffee flavors and fresh baked goods each morning. Sundae's ice cream just two doors down from the coffee shop that we visited a handful of times during the week with great vibes and great ice cream and water ice.. Parking in the rear and a short walk to the boardwalk. The hotel offered complimentary beach tags for the week. Everyone was friendly and accommodating all week long. TY Atlantic BW Sig. Series. ❤️

We had a great stay at The Atlantic! The room was exceptionally clean, and it's in a perfect location—just a short walk to the boardwalk and the beach, which made everything so convenient. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming throughout our stay, and the pool was very clean and well maintained, making it a great place to relax after a day at the beach. The only small downside was that the bathroom door didn't have a lock, which made things a little challenging with our curious two-year-old, who kept opening it at the worst possible times. Other than that minor issue, we had a wonderful experience and would definitely stay here again!

We enjoyed staying at this hotel! Just one side block back from the beach and boardwalk, it was a perfect location! The hotel room has clearly been renovated because it looked like new. It was well thought out with a welcoming ambiance, the bed was comfortable, the shower amazing, and the whole of the room and bathroom were spotless! The value for what we received was 5/5. We hope to stay here again!

Room was always clean and maintained well. Everything works well. Don't like walking through room service doing laundry and moving laundry out of the way so I can get outside but I understand it's the design of the building. It's their job and they're good at it but maybe something can be done about that in the future. Other than that I love staying there. Clean, maintained and close to the beach.

Room exceptionally clean and AC kept it a crisp cool. Cute little breakfast or lunch bistro below had tasty food. Recommend .

Updated motel vibe. Perfect location. Half a block (only separation from the boardwalk is the parking lot and public parking lot) to the beach. Across the street is the ice cream shop, bike rental and cafe's. Well maintained decent sized pool. Modern and trending updates. Only wish they had a little fire pit by the pool, since they have a nice lounge area with patio chairs and sofas by the pool which is perfect for lounging after dinner in the evenings. Easy check in and check out. Staff was accommodating.

Great establish. Seconds from the boardwalk. The bathroom door was barn style and did not lock but everything else was perfect.

This is a much delayed review regarding our very positive experience at The Atlantic in August of 2025. After having stayed at the Forum every year for the past 20 years, we were forced to book at a different hotel, when the Forum was very unaccommodating to our needs. As a result, The Atlantic is our new 'Go To' place in OC. We booked 4 rooms at the Atlantic for 2 nights last August for our extended family. A special shout out to Hatixhe at the front desk for her assistance at the time of booking and during our stay. The rooms were renovated and well appointed. Nice big shower and sink area. Two comfortable queen beds. The location cannot be beat. Same block as the boardwalk with easy walking to boardwalk restaurants, shops, and attractions. The parking lot is small and not the easiest to always maneuver. But, even though the hotel was fully booked, we were always able to find a spot (there is an overflow lot about a block away, but we never had to use it). [Note: There is one down side to the parking situation here; Because of limited parking, they don't allow you to park in the lot until your room is ready and you must exit the lot as soon as you check out.] We found all of the staff to be very helpful and friendly. One of the rooms had a problem with the desk chair (the back was somewhat loose). We texted the front desk, and within an hour the maintenance staff was at the room with a brand new chair. You can't beat that for service. Even though the weather was not great during our stay (the beach/ocean was off limits due to strong rip currents and we had to walk the boards and swim in the pool between periods of rain), we still enjoyed our stay at The Atlantic and our time together as a family. We will be back again.

The rooms were beautiful. It's a block from the boardwalk. You can walk to George's for breakfast with minimal effort. The staff is courteous and polite.

My husband and I experienced the best accommodation to fit our stay. Very nice and quick response in providing the best service. We felt like a valued customer. Looking forward to another great experience!!!

Overall we loved the room, beds were comfortable and we had good quality sleep. Loved the big open shower and the sliding door to the bathroom. The pool was really nice but they advertise it's heated but it sure didn't feel like it but we still enjoyed it. Felt like there wasn't enough parking but we managed. It's a very short walk from the hotel to the beach and boardwalk which was a plus. They also had a very nice little coffee shop attached to the restaurant. We ate there once it was very good. Coffee was not offered in the room nor did they have it in the lobby. This would be a nice addition to the rooms if they could add it. Most places offer 24/7 coffee. We enjoyed our first trip to Ocean City and hope to be back soon.

Rising from the ashes of the Pavilion motel, The Atlantic by Best Western did not disappoint. The rooms are clean modern and inviting. Definitely will go again.

Rooms have been newly remodeled. Everything is clean and new. Beds are comfortable. The pool is clean and heated. They've added a like breakfast restaurant with coffee which is very convenient. The parking is easy. The access to the beach and boardwalk is super convenient.

This is our 3rd year coming up for our end of the summer family vacation. Rooms are top notch. Location is great. A two minute walk to the beach and boardwalk but also central to food and shopping. Most within a 10 min walk. Also a great new coffee shop across the street and a bike rental place less than 30seconds away. The pool is alway clean and well maintained and Brenda's restaurant is our fav place for breakfast. Will be booking soon for next summer.

My husband and I stayed here for one overnight, and it was such a nice surprise because we tend to be super picky when it comes to lodging. The Atlantic was clean, comfortable, quiet, reasonably priced, and the decor was modern and minimalist. Couldn't ask for more. Planning another family weekend in OCNJ for next year and will definitely be looking to stay here again.

Nice clean hotel. We stayed for one night. The hotel has a great location. We had free parking and 2 beach tags. Our room was available to us early, so that was very nice. I was pleasantly surprised.

We really enjoyed our short stay at The Atlantic. The room was recently renovated and was clean, bright and well done. The linens and bedding were clean and fresh, the bathroom and shower were amazing, and the water pressure/ shower head were perfect. We had breakfast at the restaurant (Brenda's) and that was excellent as well. The standard coffee was not great but they have cafe drinks that were better. Location was stellar, although we recommend heading to 1st Street for the beach because the beach near 8th is short and gets packed quickly.

This hotel is completely mismanaged. I had gift cards from best western that I asked them to apply to my bill on four occasions. They said it would be applied and they never did. TV worked 50 percent of the time and phone in room was not operational. I am currently dealing with best western to get credit for the best western gift cards. Have sent two emails to hotel with gift cards attached and got no response. I would never stay at this hotel again.

Housekeeping were friendly, helpful, and efficient with service every day. The beds were very comfortable and the decor is modern. Steps from the boardwalk but quiet in the rooms. Loved our stay.

We had a grad party in town and needed it for 1 night. The Atlantic/BW did not disappoint. Great service, great location and exceptional rooms. I read a lot of reviews before booking. It was a little pricey, but totally worth it! I know we will stay again, hopefully longer.

We needed to sneak away to a beach location for a few days and found this gem that we will be returning too next year. First, the location is perfect. You make a right out of the hotel onto 8th street and a couple minutes later you're on the boardwalk or the beach. The rooms are very nicely done. The A/C is amazingly cold. Perfect after a day in the sun. The bedding feels like you're sleeping on a cloud. Four perfect pillows for each bed. There is a large smart tv, a tall mini-fridge that worked great! There is a room phone and a wall sconce for lighting between the two beds in the room we were in. There is a desk setup with a chair if you're so inclined to work instead of enjoy the shore. There is an open area for you to hang clothing. The rooms are very simple which is all you need sometimes. The bathroom door is a sliding barn door which was nice. The shower was very nice and spacious. Shower head water flow was spot on. The bathroom comes with a blow dryer. The Pool is placed perfectly so that most of the day, It is in the sun. Pool is available from 9am-9pm. You can enter by steps and a handrail in the shallow end or by the ladder at the deep end which is 8' deep. There is plenty of seating and lounge chairs around the pool. Outside of the pool area is a sitting area or a courtyard so to speak with patio tables and chairs with umbrellas as well as patio couches and coffee tables. We played Yahtzee at the courtyard. The hotel has three levels. The top two floors can be accessed by many different stairways or by one very small elevator. Attached to the hotel is Brenda's Cafe. We had breakfast there every morning and lunch once and I definitely recommend. I mean why not? You don't have to leave the property or drive anywhere. Now, tbh, if the food was not good, I would not have even mentioned Brenda's Cafe. If all you need in the morning is coffee or lattes, right across the street from the hotel is Holiday Coffee serving La Colombe in cold brew, lattes and I would also presume hot coffee too but we just got the cold brew with caramel and left a little space for the half and half. If some biking is what you need, on the diagonal corner of the hotel is bicycle rental for the whole family including surreys. Overall, I really couldn't be happier to have stayed at The Atlantic. Looking forward to staying again next year and making It a full week.

We had a short two night stay and found the rooms well appointed. Our room was small but the new renovations made great use of the space. The king bed was comfortable, but we wished for softer feather pillows. Hotel reception desk was welcoming and helpful. Tons of free parking and a great location. Enjoyed our time there.

We had a litany of issues with the hotel. The major one was with the plumbing. The sink leak was so bad that all the towels were wet, we discovered this upon check in. This was fixed in 10 minutes. The shower handle fell off while bating my 5 year old, he wasn't thrilled with hot water in the face. The toiled gurgled all night, which made for a pleasant aroma. When I complained about this to the front desk they said try not to use the bathroom as the humidity is causing problems. Please use the bathroom across the street at the next hotel if you need to use it.. When we asked to speak to the manager. THEY SAID WE ARENT ALLOWED TO CALL HIM ON HIS DAY OFF!!!!!

Condition of the hotel is poor. Faulty plumbing (shower, sink, and toilet). Staff didn't care to fix issues, didn't offer any compensation but rather told us to use a bathroom across the street… when we asked for the manager they said he couldn't be contacted on his day off… this place is a dump run by people that don't understand the meaning of ‘hospitality'.

I was scheduled to stay 1 night with my severely special needs daughter. My daughter was really struggling so we were unable to make it to the room. I returned the keys and the beach badges and explained we wouldn't be staying. They called me and told me I was getting a full refund and told me they were so sorry I had to go thru that. Such understanding people. I highly recommend. Plus if you have a special needs child and they are able to handle a hotel, give this group your business because they truly are good people.

The room was clean. The staff was friendly. We grabbed the room last minute and check in was expedient. The front desk clerk offered my son a stuffed fish upon check-in. The only thing I wished we could've enjoyed was the pool which unfortunately closed at 9 as soon as we were about to enjoy it. We only stayed one night so we didn't have a chance to enjoy the pool the next day. We wished it was more affordable so we could stay more than one night. Overall, though our experience was great.

Recently renovated motel was a pleasant surprise. Rooms were clean. Bathroom was spacious, shower had good water pressure and temperature. Short walk to beach and boardwalk. Air conditioners could use an upgrade and a coffee maker is a must. Will return in the Fall.

Everything was perfect!!! the water pressure was my favorite part but some other amazing this were that it was so close to the beach and the boardwalk, the pool was really nice to chill, the beds were very clean and comfortable, would 100% recommend!

This was our senior trip with 36 seniors. The hotel was wonderful- rooms are newly redone. Housekeeping daily. Great location, one block from the boardwalk walk and beach. A courtyard and pool. The staff was very responsive to any requests.

Room was a great room and very comfortable hotel to stay in and would definitely come back the hotel is walking distance from the boardwalk and walking distance from a lot of other places depending on what u are really looking for it was definitely a good stay

Room & bathroom were recently renovated - very nice / clean (5 Stars). Room rate was best advertised (inc resort fee) by all hotels for our stay (although unclear why a resort fee while out of season with no services available). Outdoor Community space is nice / clean. Plenty of parking. Convenient/ easy walk to boardwalk. This hotel worked well for our getaway with grandchildren. Suggestions: Instructions on how to open & lock keyless entry. Bring along your TV app logons to sign into Netflix etc. We would definitely stay again.

Upon arrival the door said Closed. We called the emergency number and were told a code to open the room door. The door would not open and I called and was told to use some force to open it and it takes 3 hard tries. Tv had no volume and not staff to help. Next day a man was sent to look at issues. Never felt safe with no staff on grounds. No coffee pot. Noise coming from heat unit. Called Best Western Customer service and was given ticket number as the price I was charged is more then the price listed for Sunday night. Already home and called again asking for some points or price adjustment due to all the issues. Choice Priviledge takes care of this right away. Worse experience in over 30 years of traveling multiple times a year. My friend said she is leaving a review and will never return to this hotel. Not impressed with Best Western either as that is who I booked from.

Old hotel recently renovated half - hearted, nothing signature about it, very small room with nearly nothing in it but a bad smell, bath room ridiculously small, window not to open, air condition not effective and blowing right into bed, no breakfast, no coffee, no coffemaker, baseless snippy and somehow hostile woman at checkin, at least free parking and super location just steps from the nice boardwalk. Don' t miss Hobbyhorse Ice Cream!
