Best Western Plus Nagoya Sakae

Room quite big but not that clean. There is a stain on the sink right after we checked in. Besides, the room is not soundproof well, you still can hear outside noise since the hotel is in a busy street. They also don't provide drinking water, you will need to by it at a vending machine

We stayed at this hotel for one night in September 2025. I'm only writing this review now because I found the note with the names of the staff, who provided us with excellent and exceptionally kind assistance. We'd especially like to thank Ms. Rana for her helpfulness and kindness, and Mr. Skiller, who helped me find my cell phone after I lost it in a taxi. If I were to return to Nagoya, I would stay at this excellent hotel again, even just to thank them again.

Excellent location, a couple of minutes walk to Sakae Station and nearby department stores, restaurants and Donki. Convenience stores are nearby also along with McDonalds. A few stops, probably two stations away from Nagoya station. Staff were all courteous and helpful. Breakfast is okay, but has limited coffee option from their coffee machine. You can get room amenities from the area near the front desk. The room we booked was small but I was told I booked the standard double room, you can see from the photos here.

We are family of four from Singapore who stayed from 9th to 15th December.... We had two rooms 1306 and 1308,when my mum feedback to say that the room she got / 1306 was smaller than what she book for on internet. The manager claim that the room is actual room that she booked for. / The room next door 1308 that my cousin and brother stayed in actually bigger as my mum did some measurements/ Breakfast at ally was great with all the various dishes catered/ On the second last day , my mum enquired about private taxi arrangement to airport as we had four big bags. Hotel failed to be able to arranged, perhaps u might want to consider partnering with a private limo company to enhance guest experience... Regards, Nicholas Lim ( Singapore)
