Best Western Plus McPherson

The staff were amazing helping me replace lost screw out of my glasses with ease. Attentive to any concerns or queries we had. The room was lovely really clean and had lots of all the additional amenities you need. Nothing was too much for them when asked.

Very clean well maintained hotel with modern amenities. Staff was professional, courteous, and friendly. Beds were comfortable. Shower was clean. Breakfast was hot and had lots of options. Would certainly recomend staying here and will stay here again.

We stayed 4 nights. We had a great stay! Breakfast was very good with a variety of choices. Very nice and helpful staff! Close to shopping and eateries! The kids enjoyed going swimming! * Not the hotel's fault.... but one thing that was a little bothersome was when the trash truck made so much noise one morning at 6:20 AM banging around the large trash bins behind the hotel.

Best place to stay! Hotel and staff were amazing! Breakfast was hot and had a good variety! The hotel was very clean and the staff kept it that way! I definitely will be staying here again. We were very comfortable and felt at home here! Family oriented.

Very accommodating. Has an adequate example of all the amenities one could want. Breakfast was delicious, free flow yogurt, nutella, water bottles, grab and go breakfasts, cookies. Pool was small but clean and a good time. Gym was a liability-free 50lb dumbell limit type, but adequate for a light workout. Availability of workout bands was nice.

A huge improvement over the former BestWestern hotel in McPherson and my last stays in Wichita. And very reasonably priced, WITH NO ATTEMPTS AT HIDDEN ADD-ON CHARGES. I needed to stay over unexpectedly, and desk personnel on all shifts were extremely helpful and accommodating. In particular, breakfast was a notably better experience than at other BestWesterns on recent stays.

This property is conveniently located, offers spacious rooms for a value price, and the staff understands how to create an exceptional guest experience. I stayed here multiple times and will continue to do so.

This Best Western is one of the newest and nicest Best Western hotels - it still smells brand new! We had a great time there - wonderful beds, delicious breakfast, and excellent service. Please take it from us: this hotel is at 200 NORTH Champlin Street in McPherson, not 200 Champlin Street! Turn NORTH on Champlin off US 56 and US 81 Business and it will be right there on your right! If you follow Google you will end up SOUTH of US 56 in the middle of the Walmart parking lot, right next to Freddy's Burgers! This hotel is definitely worth finding!

The breakfast was decent. There was a very large selection which was great, and it was presented well, but the eggs were watery. It was still the best part of our stay, though. The king "suite" was just a double room with a couch instead of a second bed. It wasn't much of a suite but would still suit our needs, so while a bit disappointed in the cost of it, it was still okay. I've stayed in far nicer hotels for far less money, though, so did feel like the room was overpriced. The bathroom of our room was disgustingly filthy. It appeared that some parts had not been cleaned in months. There were pubic hairs and either vomit or poop all over the inside of the toilet. There was also what appeared to be pee all around the base of the toilet. The floor around the base was so gross, it left the rag completely stained yellowish brown. It looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. The floor of the shower was also either dirty or stained and that the door area of the shower also looked like it hadn't been cleaned in months. It was very grimy with hair and brown stuff that looked like it had been there for a long time. While the rest of the room appeared clean, the complete disregard for the bathroom made me question the cleanliness of the rest of the room. When we pulled the sofa bed out to prepare it, there were no sheets on it despite the fact that I had booked the room as having three of us staying in it. Still, I figured they were just in a closet, so not a huge deal. However, as we looked around the room, there was no bedding to be found. I went down to the front desk to get bedding for it. The front desk person was waiting on someone when I got there and I overheard her telling them that they had sheets for the sofa bed, but no blankets. This was disappointing since they knew these rooms were going to need bedding for the sofa beds and since that is what I was there for as well. The person in front of me said that they would go to Walmart to buy a blanket and the hotel staff member did not offer to deduct that cost from the room stay, which I personally thought they should do. We were given one fitted sheet and one top sheet. We made up the sofa bed with the sheets and took the bedspread off of the bed for him to use as a blanket, as the bed had both this and an actual blanket. It was thin, but being a bedspread, we thought it would be warm enough to use. We were wrong. He told us in the morning that he was actually up most of the night freezing.

I had the worst experience ever staying here. What hotel allows the start to not be behind desk every day no one on second shift wasn't at the desk but in lobby with boyfriend nightly this happened . The previous manager had this place amazing new lady she's to arrogant and the owner needs to fire her and her racist staff you can tell she only caters to certain races that's why this place will not strive because she's not into building a diverse team- I will never stay at this BWP again stayed three days and will never stay again my pillow case had black dots don stains all Over them bed skirts was filthy shower had black foot marks inside felt very uncomfortable while staying here breakafast lady feel Soory for her she said manager lazy don't want to get her help I will take my busy elsewhere choose another hotel the entire housekeeping staff you can tell they not trained in taking care the guests rooms no service after asking two days for service dirty rooms they would not clean my room my wife asked for and had hair on them my wife went to Walmart and purchased her on if I was the owner I would fire the entire staff and get another better crew in

Room was very clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good, make sure you go early for freshness. Location was perfect and very quiet. Close to several stores and restaurants. Great place to stay.

Lori made our stay extremely comfortable! It was a very stressful time and everything was going bad. Lori fixed everything and was such a blessing helping us out. She was very caring with us and definitely the best customer service I have experienced in a very long time. Thank you Lori for all you did!

Staff needs to greet guests on arrival...not continue to have private conversations. The Breakfast Area needs to have an attendant keeping things re-stocked and to clean the area as needed. The staff also needs to wear clean clothes and/or nametags (and no dirty bunny slippers and unprofessional hoodies)...Training is needed at this facility on how to conduct themselves in the hospitality industry

The breakfast was wonderful. The hotel was clean. The staff was all kind and patient! But do not plan on getting a good night's sleep, most especially on the north end of the hotel. The loud trains kept me up all through the night. This hotel cost more than other Best Western's we have been to, so not being able to recharge was disappointing.

Rooms were dirty, carpets dirty, dust on everything rust on showers and hand rails. Ice machine broken on 1st floor, was told I had to go to 3rd floor for ice. Very disappointed with the Best Western Plus of McPherson Kansas. I stayed in Best Western Plus in Arkansas and Kearney Nebraska and both were very clean and friendly. Will not recommend this motel I. McPherson.

clean nice rooms and the staff is wonderful I will stay there again. They have a bice variety of breakfast to choose from and a nice dining room as well the staff will help you if you need it. They also have persanol things if you forget them and a little snack area.

This is long but suffice to say I highly recommend this BW property! Kudos to Amber & Steven at the front desk who were both warmly welcoming, cheerful & helpful. Steven even offered to help me load my luggage onto a cart & was genuinely concerned when one of the latches on my tonneau wasn't working correctly. Next morning he helped me again, pushing the cart through the front doors for me! Grounds are nicely manicured & the outdoor pool looked inviting. Lovely, sleek & modern lobby. Automatic front doors, several luggage carts, zippy elevators. My room was spacious & spotless with microwave, fridge w/freezer section & in-room Keurig coffee. Especially appreciated desk & bedside table lamps with easily accessible electrical outlets & USB ports for charging phone, tablet, laptop. Free wifi with ample signal to check weather & routing for the rest of the trip. Great water pressure & generous supply of bright white towels. I slept well on very comfortable bed with nice linens & fat, fluffy pillows. Next morning, the receipt had been slipped under the door which made checkout a breeze. Grabbed a bite from a large selection of hot & cold choices at the very well tended continental. Left out feeling refreshed & already looking forward to the next time my travels bring me through McPherson.

If I had to sum it up with one word. Outstanding!!!!! Room 410 view and very clea... Steven and Laurie. Was professional and super friendly. You need people like them representing your hotel. Outstanding!!!!! Rooms large and clean. Will be back!!!

Great value. Very clean. Pleasant staff. Good breakfast. The only problem was it was pouring rain and the parking is quite a ways from the entrance otherwise it was great. We will definitely stay here again when we come to see our college granddaughter.

The hotel was very clean. The continental breakfast had a good variety to choose from. Eggs two different ways, waffles, breakfast sandwiches, etc. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Only complaint is they only have one working elevator.

First time at Best Western plus and McPherson. From the minute you step inside Best Western you'll be happy. Very clean and staff was very friendly. The rooms are Great! Over all my stay was a great experience. When in McPherson I will be staying here. Thank you, Christine

Everything was great about the Hotel, the overall facility is very nice, so where the rooms, the staff was pleasant to deal with, the price was very affordable and the breakfast was good. I would definitely stay at this location again.

A new motel and a very welcoming place. The front desk person was sure to make us feel welcomed with our choice of freshly baked cookies. The breakfast room was one of the best stoked with nice choices of breakfast menu items and very clean.

I was going to Kansas with my family ( 5 family members) and when we arrive they only gave us 3 towels. When I went to a different room there was a pee stain on the toilet and I seen several brown spots on the bed that I had to sleep in. there were other problems too. The AC wasn't too good either sleeping was hard because it was just hot.

The hotel is very nice overall. The front desk staff was friendly. Our room definitely could have been cleaner, though. The bathroom shower was not very clean and one of the shower doors had come out of the track. There was a lot of dust on the furniture in the room. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was lacking most of the hot food when we were there. Apparently a large group had been there earlier. There were some eggs left but my husband said they were not hot enough.

We always stay here when visiting friends in McPherson and have never been disappointed. The rooms are very clean, the manager and staff are friendly, and the hot breakfast is complete. There's also fresh baked cookies at the front desk.

Beautiful new hotel. Front desk very nice. Handicapped room with great shower- couldn't use-NO hot water!!! Ants everywhere in bathroom.... Spoke with desk...no help. She would have moved us but with wheelchair and gear.. Disappointed

Property was fairly new, exceptionally clean and well kept. The staff was friendly, helpful and professional. Housekeeping was efficient and very nice and polite. Breakfast was fantastic. Mary and Wendy we exceptionally attentive to our needs and requests.

The front desk attendant was very polite and friendly when checking in, my room was extremely clean and comfortable. I was happy to see that they still offered a full breakfast considering a lot of hotels offer limited items due to COVID still. I will definitely stay here again when traveling to McPherson in the future.

I've been coming to McPherson for over 40 years to visit friends there and have stayed at just about every property there and this is my favorite place to stay. This has been my 4th or 5th stay here and everything still seems so fresh and new.

Nice hotel and beds were comfortable. Quiet. Maybe clean up garbage outside by parking lot. Pricing was good & cookies at check in were awesome. We have not been through this area before, but would stay again if coming through. Breakfast had alot of choices too

From check in to check out Amber was great to deal with. She went out of her way to help me in my time of need. Room was great. Breakfast way better that most. Location was good also. Only drawback was the guy that worked the desk had a chip on his shoulder, so I just avoided him!

New last year. Stayed for 4 nights. Check in and out went very fast. Staff was very friendly. Rooms were very nice with a very large TV, desk with chair, and another chair. Large breakfast area with lots of chairs. Best value in Mcpherson.

Now this is what a Best Western Hotel is supposed to be like!!! So many good things to say about this place. My wife and I arrived around 10 pm and Amber checked us in. She offered us some food and drink, so we both grabbed a yogurt and banana. The room was nice and clean and the bed was very comfortable. The next morning we had a hot and very delicious breakfast. The staff greated us and were very polite. The owner, managers and staff are to be commended. Staff - five out of five stars 5☆ Hotel - 5 ☆ Food - 5 ☆ Room - 5 ☆ If all Best Westerns were this good, I'd only stay in Best Westerns. This place sets the bar high for competing hotels!

We were traveling to Colorado and stayed at the Best Western Plus in McPherson, Kansas. The motel is outstanding!! Our room was excellent including the bedding and blackout curtain. Service was exceptional as well. Amber is a member of the staff who was especially helpful and courteous. We were there during the week of Christmas and it was fully decorated with a fire in the fireplace. If you are wondering whether to book at stay at this motel, the answer is yes!

Everything is clean and new. The staff is very caring. The breakfast has a good variety. I have stayed at many places in McPherson for over 40 years and this is my newest favorite place to stay and will remain so for a long time if they keep it up like it is.

The whole reason I chose Best Western was their breakfast options. There is a very limited breakfast, and is being blamed on the supplier. If I had known it was going to be like this, I would have chose another location.

I didn't expect such a great quality stay in such a small town in the middle of nowhere seemingly. I loved the location and thought the price was fair. extremely clean and convenient in location. Many stores nearby and about 3 minute drive from the center of town.

I have been visiting McPherson every year for over 40 years to see friends. I have stayed at nearly every motel in town and this will become my new favorite place to stay when I come here. Everything is brand new and top notch, including the staff and service.

I stayed in old BW in this area for over a decade until it declined, then was not BW. Tried other good BW in the area that are also good in Park City & Salina KS, however, this is slightly more central. This is an amazing replacement. Fresh new rooms, more modern with up to date business friendly bedside tables. BIG HD TV! Thank you BW for restoring your image in McPherson KS
