SureStay by Best Western McAlester

The rooms are clean & comfortable, full of all amenities you would need. The staff is friendly & helpful, from the minute you arrive to when you leave. The breakfast was delicious & full of variety! The staff in the dining room was very friendly. We love coming to this hotel!

I loved about everything at this Best Western! The staff was great! Friendly, Cheery and Helpful. Loved the breakfast... I love bagels and seldom can I even find bagels at a hotel breakfast. Absolutely loved the TWO luggage racks - so nice not to have to use the bed, desk or chair for the second suitcase! Room was clean and neat. Breakfast area and lobby was very clean as well! Thank you McAlester staff... I had a very restful and comfortable stay!

First impression on the outside was its ok. Not to bad, definitely painted recently. I couldn't check in early but was able to check in at 2:30pm. First thing I noticed when I walked in the room was the smell. It all came from the bathroom. Wasn't really a bad smell but it smelled really old and outdated like they covered the smell with chemicals. Not sure if someone previously smoked in here or what but it was not to my liking. This was a suite by the way. I figured this should be the nicest room of all. Stains in the carpet but the room looked fairly clean so I didn't mind. The issue I had was when I ordered some pizza as soon as I opened the box 4 flies landed directly on my pizza. That kinda annoyed me. Then it was 100 degrees outside and that A/C unit was barely cooling the room. Room didn't cool down until sunset. Ive traveled all over the country and stayed at numerous hotels this probably was one of my least favorite. it is a small town and options are limited around here. Best thing here is the truck parking in front of the hotel, other than that I wouldn't pay $100 a night for this. I would rather sleep in my car next time

Very satisfied with my stay and as someone who travels a lot Best Western hotels are the best for consistency from one location to another regarding cleanliness and quality of the hotel. Cleanliness is my biggest expectation and I was satisfied with Best Western of McAlester. Great breakfast options and a larger than normal eating area so there's plenty of room.

We were passing through on our way to Texas. The room was comfortable and clean. The entire facility was nicely maintained and the desk attendant was friendly and helpful. The price was reasonable for the area. We definitely would recommend it.

If your looking for a hotel this is the one. I'm very picky about where I stay and this hotel was better than I expected. Clean rooms and comfy bed. I will definitely book again when I come to visit my family.

Rooms have gone downhill. We have stayed there in previous years and were pleased. This stay, the paint in our was in bad shape as was the carpeting. The a/c unit made constant noise and the bathroom fan was worse. We will not be returning.

It seems hotels disappoint more than satisfy these days. Not so for this hotel. What a relief to finally have professional and friendly staff who made us feel valued. The property was well-kept and well-lit. The room was clean and spacious. Everything worked as it should. The bed and pillows were comfortable. The towels were a good quality. The refrigerator/freezer was top notch and served our needs well. The "free pet" policy was a huge plus! We will definitely stay here again.

After fifteen days on the road from Houston to Washington, DC, I've had plenty of stayovers. Best Western Inn in McAlester was one of the most pleasant. The staff was helpful, rooms clean and breakfast great.

Good location along US 69. Room was good size and clean. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Good selection for breakfast. Will definitely consider this facility on future trips when passing through McAlester.

The service was ok, and rooms were a bit above average. The check in lady was friendly, but did not receive a small token or gift for being a Diamond Club member. First time ever to not receive a gatorade of a bottled water

We enjoyed our stay here more than at the WinStar Hotel and Resort. Staff was very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. Our room was clean, accessible, and peaceful. We will definitely be returning when we have more time to explore the area.

Our family of three spent two nights here. This is an old style motel, where every room has a outside door and you can park your car by your door. I like that. The room was well-furnished and clean. Even though it is old school, nothing appeared to be old. The place was quiet. The beds were good. The bathroom was good, including the soap and shampoo. Reception was friendly. Breakfast was OK. We had a good stay.
