Stayed one night, then stayed on our return trip due to the snow. Both times the rooms were clean. Second night the TV didn't work. When reported no one came to fix it. Told the morning clerk about it, Nicole. She was nice and told us to report it to online reservations. It wasn't bad for an overnight stay, pricing was good. Edit: Also, we were just discounted for the TV not working.
In the first morning I turned on the water in the shower - after 15 minutes of waiting, the water was no higher than 40 degrees. After work I complained to the front desk and the worker said it was ok since a lot of people go to shower at the same time. At 4:30 AM? Only 10 cars in front of the hotel? The next day after work, the water did not get warmer. The same guy is on the front desk and he advised me to check out of the hotel right now and move to another one! After my request to contact the owner, the owner ordered me to be moved to another room. We checked 3 rooms. In the first two, in general, there is no water at all. Only in the third the water was OK. Bottom line: the service is absolutely unacceptable, the workers are arrogant and rude. Breakfast is cheap and poor quality. The Hotel is also called Best Western, but the credit card says Quality Inn - which created an additional problem for the expanse report. DO NOT STAY in Kokomo Best Western.
My experience with this Hotel was beyond appalling! My family and I were treated like refugees from a third world country and then refused service at this location when I asked the woman “Minty” at the front desk why was one room one price and our second room was a different price. She said that she didn't feel “comfortable “ with us staying at her hotel!! I couldn't believe my ears! After speaking with other people that live in the area I was informed that this location has had multiple law suits against them, I am not surprised with the treatment that I received! I have never been treated like this in my life! The absolute worst experience of discrimination that I have ever experienced!!
Booked this hotel on the road, about an hour out. For some reason, all the hotels in Kokomo were booking up fast, so went with this one because I thought the Motel 6 would be bad. I wish I had saved the almost $150 more I spent for two nights. I'll give them credit...they are trying. New, comfy beds, new paint job in the room, and new fixtures. But paint on the new curtains? Paint splatters in the new sink? The tub should have been replaced, very old and outdated. But someone dumped yellow paint in the bottom and it was never cleaned out! Seriously? I just went through a kitchen remodel and I know what it takes to clean. Our room had not been deep-cleaned after remodel. Plaster dust on shelves...our bags white on the bottom for mistakenly think we could use the surface. No towel racks. The windows were filthy, a razor blade left after scraping. Now for the fun part. We booked for two nights because we have been on the road for two weeks. We wanted a good nights sleep. The racket began at midnight with the couple in the next room having a 'knock down, drag out' of monumental proportions. Screaming in the hall, slamming doors, throwing things against the walls. Other visitors were talking in the hall about the noise level. Then, I guess the reason for no hotel rooms returned for the night. Many college-aged people returned, using the elevator across from our room. Extremely loud, running up and down the hall. Someone even knocked on our door with filthy language. When my husband called the front desk, she was annoyed. The second time, she was really annoyed, told him she had already been up to the second floor and no one was there. He told her they were there. She arrived, told the group gathered outside our door that she had a second complaint and that they needed to go to their rooms. And then the couple next door began again. Don't stay here! These hotels need to take their customers seriously, and provide a good service. For over $100 a night, I expected much more!
Hi. DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T STAY HERE! Just stayed here on 5/11/21 and it's nasty, smells like rot and is heavily under construction. I was willing to put up with it because when I checked in using my CLC card the clerk promised me that they would give me points and now they say they won't. I also woke up with a bite on my hand and sideburn which I'm assuming is from a bed bug.
It turns out we'd stayed here 5 years ago, and from what I remember, this was a decent hotel then and is still a decent hotel. The staff was pleasent, breakfast good, the room clean, although the bathroom area a little small for more than one person.
I did not stay here and thank god I didn't!! The hotel manger Mindy I spoke to to change my reservation was completely RUDE I called on Tuesday to change my reservation from Thursday to Friday. And spoke to a gentleman he couldn't find my reservation by my name but with my confirmation He did find it. He told me he change my reservation from Thursday to Friday and that it was all taken care of on my husband's deployment date got pushed back so today Thursday I called to change it to Saturday instead of Friday Mindy made me aware that the reservation was never changed. And that I was supposed to be arriving today. He did find it. As I explained to her that I spoken to somebody at the front desk on Tuesday at 3:30 they told me that they change the reservation and that it wasn't in 24 hours because my reservation should've been for Friday not for Thursday any longer. At this point I became very upset, I asked to speak to a manager and she said that she was the manager. My husband is deployed I have three kids and I'm having to figure out a hotel room now for Saturday and have to pay for a hotel room for Thursday when I will not be staying there. She finally agreed to cancel my reservation for Thursday night but I would be BLACK LISTED for any future stays as I explained that that was perfectly fine and that I would not want to be staying at her hotel she said good and I said back I will be making a review on your guises poor customer service that is when she said I am no longer canceling your reservation and you will be charge and blacklisted for future I then explained to her that I will be calling corporate and she told me to do what I needed to do and hung up on me. I then called back 15 times I was either hung up on or gentleman answered pretending he was in a room being 300 and that I needed to call the front desk that he was just a guest staying at the hotel that happened five times finally I contacted Choice, after spending one hour and 15 minutes on the phone Carlos explain to me that she was the only person who could authorize the cancellation since it was now for Thursday and not change to Friday I then explained that it was supposed to be Friday and that they never changed it. So then I began to get even more upset. I three-way called all three of us together and she said that she never told me I was blacklisted I was more than welcome to come stay the night tonight at the hotel but that if I caused any disruption or was rude to any employee I would be escorted off the premises. I then explained that we live 2 1/2 hours away and I was already having to drive there on Saturday and I was not going to drive there on Thursday for no reason when I was not needing to stay. She told me that I was wasting her time and I needed to stop calling and that I would be charged whether I showed up or not. Neither of the employees at the quality Inn and suites in Kokomo were helpful and neither was Carlos with choice management through the one 800 number I will be contacting headquarters as I've grown up in hotels my entire life and my family owns one themselves. I want everybody to know how rude this woman is and disrespectful.I have never had such bad service in my entire life with a hotel especially choice we typically always stay at choice hotels because like I said my parents on one and I work in one and I know that things are being are able to be changed she just chose not to after I said I would leave a review on her website. I will make sure that the same review is supposed to touch all traveling websites choice hotel I have never had such bad service in my entire life. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!
first of all it was not a Fairfield Inn . It was a quality Inn. it was deceiiving Quality Inn was under construction . It is not what we booked on line we booked a room under Fairfield Inn Marriott . caller the company we booked with and told them what happened and ask for a refund we have not heard back as of yet . So discussed we the whole process .
