Amazing customer service and pleasant staff! I always stay at this Best Western when I am in town. I have always been impressed. I would recommend this hotel highly. Check -in is always quick and organized.

Our smoke detector AND CO2 monitor started low-battery beeping at 1:30 in the morning. Maintenance was not available to resolve the issue, the staff had no batteries on site to replace with, and we were not offered to change rooms nor were we given a discount or refund. My husband had to remove both detectors from the ceiling to stop the repeating beeps. When I spoke with the front office staff in the morning I only received an “I'm sorry.”

Great breakfast buffet, new efficient, comfortable rooms with plenty of plugs & Internet connection. Great fitness center & indoor pool & hot tub. Conveniently located to Main Street restaurants & Pioneer Manor where my mom is.

This is our 2nd stay at this property. The afternoon reception clerk could not have been nicer when we checked in. We were put on the 2nd floor. Previously we were on the 3rd floor. Our 2nd floor room was clean, and smelled very fresh. (1) We will probably request a 3rd floor next time, because we heard the guest above us, every time they walked across the floor, talked, or shut a door. They were not loud…the floors must be very thin. (2) we would recommend to management that they check the hallways and public areas on weekends. We noticed trash on the floor in our hallway and near the elevator on the 2nd floor. It wasn't a lot, but was noticeable. (3) The breakfast was very nice, and had something for everyone. Our compliments to the staff. However, they are now advertising ‘omelets made to order', but the lady managing the breakfast buffet was busy making sure everything was filled on the buffet. Maybe the omelet staff person was elsewhere, because there wasn't anyone to make omelets. Of course we will be back, because …this is the nicest motel in Southwest Kansas.

There are not many options around Hugoton. I have never stayed in a Best Western and thought I would give this one a try. Overall the hotel is nice, and the employees are professional. There was only one issue, The accessible room I booked was small. There was not enough room to maneuver a wheelchair around. Also, the bed was way too high. As comfortable as it is, there is no way a person in a wheelchair could transfer to the bed. We had to remove the base and just sit the box springs right on the floor. It was still high, but we made it work. If a high bed is not a problem for you, this hotel is a solid choice.

I stayed 3 nights in this property in September. The hotel was full each night with various construction workers, which made parking a commodity. Nonetheless, my king room was spacious and clean, well furnished. I enjoyed the indoor saltwater swimming pool and hot tub, which incidentally is typically unoccupied between around noon to 4 pm. The breakfast offerings were exemplary with omelets made to order, and a wide selection of other items. Staff all seemed very pleasant and helpful. My only complaint was that housekeeping came right around 8 a.m. each day while I was preparing to head out for work, and thus my room did not get cleaned even once during my stay.

I grew up in Hugoton, Kansas, and was pleasantly surprised to find this addition to the town. It has been built since I left. We stayed one night in early August. The staff was extremely friendly and attentive. The place was immaculate. The breakfast was great, including an omelet bar. We stayed at a Best Western in Kansas City the next night, because of our great experience at this place. Unfortunately, our experience in Kansa City was just the opposite. I would recommend the Best Western in Hugoton to anyone traveling west. It would be first-class anywhere.

Really well run hotel. We stopped on our drive through Kansas. Accommodating staff, very clean - obviously well maintained. Comfortable beds - good climate control. Impressive breakfast - made to order omelets. Worth going out of your way. We would stay again.

We had a problem with the wrong credit card being charged. This was a two part blame, us and the new hire. Ridhie, was wonderful in getting this resolved. We will definitely be staying here again. The staff is top notch, it is clean and a very nice place to stay.

This Hotel has a very good breakfast and fantastic beds, and great service. The people that work there are very helpful and friendly. We were there for 4 days and 3 nights and it was wonderful. I would recommend this hotel very highly!!!

Loved how quiet the hotel was and how cheap it was compared to other places we stayed. Their breakfast was phenomenal and when we had problems with a smoke alarm in the room they moved us immediately and even brought the extra keys up to our room so I would not be inconvenienced to go downstairs at 1130 at night!

Hot tub and complete hot breakfast! I wish all hotels were as true as this one. The website is not deceiving. The town is small but the local pizza place delivers. The country mart next door is nice to shop.

We had a large family staying at this hotel for a funeral and all of the staff was very caring towards us. It was very sweet. They also passed a lot of messages and even held on to my nephews suit so that we could pick it up later. Great place to stay and breakfast was great, even though it was limited. Great place to stay.

The hotel was clean and quiet. Bed was comfortably firm. They had breakfast that looked really good, but we didn't have it, because we we seeing family. It is a very nice hotel, especially for the area. Plus it is right on the highway.

We recently stayed at this hotel for a concert in town. The staff were amazing and super nice. I travel quite a bit and this is one of the best experiences i have had. I have absolutely no complaints regarding this hotel.

A nice newer hotel for a small SW Kansas town. We've driven by for a few years, and we were familiar with the location of the property. We traveled to the area for a funeral of a family member. All was well with the exception of one of our two beds. The sheets of one bed definitely did not look clean and/or fresh. The other bed was in proper condition, luckily I was traveling with my wife and we just needed one bed. I have let the property know of my disappointment, and hopefully they will improve before you stay. Staff was kind and courteous, room was clean with the exception of the one bed. We would stay again, but we will check the sheets before hopping in bed.

Fairly new pretty nice but only two pillows on my king bed. Staff said they recently changed number of pillows per bed. It is Not what you see on their website. See the photo, I have not touched the bed.

Given the COVID protocol, hotel manager graciously answered my questions and personally took my reservation. Rooms were clean and beautifully appointed. There were obvous signs thoughout the lobby area that extrac care was being taken regarding cleanliness and sanitation. Worth the stop in every way.

Staff were all so friendly and efficient. Great breakfast and happy hour offerings. They let our family use the breakfast room to visit. Only complaint was it seemed the walls were very thin, you could hear everything from your neighbor's room.

I stayed one night for business. The lobby appeared clean and smelled pleasant. The room was clean and also smelled nice. The thermostat was very easy to adjust which was nice because I usually get cold in hotels and was able to adjust the temperature to my comfort level with ease. The bed was large, clean, and comfortable with plenty of pillows. I arrived with 10 minutes left for the happy hour tacos. There was just enough left for me and they were actually pretty good. They offered all the typical toppings and a free soda or beer. Even though they were getting ready to take it down they did not rush me and made sure I had everything I needed. The staff was very nice and friendly. Angie helped check me in and made sure to explain everything thoroughly and made sure i had no additional questions. She was in a very pleasant mood as well. When I left the following morning i accidentally locked myself out of my vehicle, with my cell phone inside. Staff was very helpful and quick to assist in contacting law enforcement to help unlock it. They also offered free breakfast but I did not have any. It looked like typical hotel breakfast spread, cereal, oatmeal, toast, there were two hot plates but did not see what was in them.

Someone is working their @#$ off trying to make this a great property, in the middle of noiwhere. On Friday night, I was offered a free beer and free fajitas made to order at check-in. In the morning, made to order crepes as part of the breakfast bar. The room was nicely decorated and the bed perfect. BUT YOU CAN'T SLEEP HERE. THE WALLS ARE LIKE PAPER. I HEARD EVERY SNORT, SNIFFLE, GAS ATTACK, AND SNORE FROM THE GENTLEMAN IN THE ROOM ADJACENT. At 5:00 AM, his alarm went off, and he went through a literally ten-minute coughing fit. This property is almost entirely business-traveler oriented. I can't imagine why anybody would spend as much money as someone did on this place, and cheap up on the single most important factor to guests who have to get up in the morning and take care of business. Wish it were otherwise. I would happily stay here again, BUT...

I was working in a near by town. Got there a day early. This was the closest Best Western to the town that I was working in. I made my reservation around 3:00 pm. I checked in around 4:00 pm. Check in was less than 5 minutes. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. everything was great.

Decor, staff and rooms were nice. Walls are paper thin. Can clearly hear conversations in the next room. Room do not have door sweeps and the noise from hallways is too much. Noise until 12:30 am. Make matters worse shower handle in our room was stripped. No one available to fix it. I was on crutches with a broken foot, not very convenient to go down the hall to another room to shower. Pet peeve, side entry door did not allow reentry with key card. Having only one entry is difficult for people with mobility issues. Will not stay there again.

The staff really made my stay great at this hotel. I had forgotten a few items and they were easy to obtain from the front desk. I really enjoyed the freshly made omelet as well! The assistance from the front desk on checkout was outstanding as well as we had to leave a day early.

Stayed here for a funeral. Had not been in Hugoton in about 20 years so it was great to have a nice place to stay in town. Don't know anything about the other motels in town, but had a good experience here.

Very clean and up to date with good amenities. Staff is friendly. Stayed in a king suit that is spacious with fridge and microwave. I wasn't crazy about the bathroom set up but it did not change my view of my stay.

Very quaint little hotel, seeing quiet a few of these popping up in the rural areas of Kansas. Very clean and modern in design. The hotel has three stories and is located in the business area of the town. There is a pool and a gym. The hotel provides a continental breakfast for its guests. The room was well laid out and well lit, though there was a floor lamp that 1) was rather short for a floor lamp and 2) didn't seem to have an on switch. I looked for a wall switch for this one, but couldn't locate it. I'm certain it had a switch, I just couldn't locate it. Regardless, the room didn't really need it. The bed was average, slightly too hard for my taste, but it provided a good night sleep. There was Dish TV and free WiFi which was nice. The room had a lot of mirrors: a large mirror on the wall behind the floor lamp, mirrored closet doors and a massive bathroom mirror. The room also had a microwave, a coffee maker, and a fridge. Had I stayed more than one night there, I would have probably used these. The same goes for the pool and the gym. The room also had ample seating between the small desk attached the dresser/TV stand and a guest chair with a little table next to it. It also had a raised padded table that I used for the suitcase stand. All and all if was pleasant stay and would stay there again.

Surprised by the quality of service, cleanliness, and overall hotel quality. Definitely a top rated hotel in southwest Kansas. Cannot think of anything negative to say. Made to order omelet was a plus.

The hotel on the whole was fine for the cost. Sadly, we were placed in a room on the side where transport trucks are allowed to park overnight, one of these trucks ran all night, and they are not quiet.

Sometimes you don't expect much from these small town motels. But, this one gave me a great surprise. Upon check-in we were met by a friendly smile and welcome, given a nice gift bag and cookies. The room was comfortable and clean. We got a great night sleep. However I wish motels would get rid of those window AC units and go to a central type heat and AC. Only to keep the air from blowing directly on a person when they turn on and off. The breakfast was fantastic. They had the normal fare but also had an eggs to order station. Checkout is easy and fast. Great motel able to rival larger hotels in larger markets.

This was an excellent choice for staying en route to New Mexico. The room was spacious and the morning breakfast was good. It was clean and had everything we needed. The omelet at breakfast was a real treat.

It is all true. And all here in this tiny town. The hotel and amenities are way better than you would expect in this less than populated area - maybe they are right about "if you build it, they will come." Hotel was just about full when we stayed mid-week in August. Hotel seems brand new (though about 3 years old). Good sized rooms, comfy breakfast area with many choices. Cookies and coffee in the lobby. The happy hour "snack" was spaghetti and garlic bread. Multiple fast food choices just down the street.

This hotel in a remote part of Kansas, has everything to make an overnight stay quite enjoyable. The facility is well kept, the staff is both efficient and friendly. They have a drink/ snack in the evening served in an area off the lobby. Everyone treats you as if you are family. The rooms are well organized and comfortable. AND, they have an individual making individual omelets at the morning breakfast. That alone makes for a tasty breakfast. The entire are is well presented and maintained in a meticulous fashion. I would highly recommend this hotel.

I stayed in this Best Western for a week as I was in Hugoton working. Ashly checked me in and was very professional and helped me attach this stay to my rewards number. The hotel main area is nicely decorated and very clean. My room was also very clean and nicely decorated. The mattress was comfy and there were a ton of pillows ( I bring my own pillow, so I didn't try them. They did feel like nice pillows just from picking them up though). The breakfast in the morning was very nice and more than adequate. In addition to the standard bagels, toast and biscuits.. with gravy, there was an omelet bar with a nice lady named Alicia making delicious omelets. There were also scrambled eggs, hash brown, sausage, cereal.. lets face it, you aren't going hungry here! In the evenings there was water, soda and BEER! yes I said beer! You were allowed to take one. Elena , another very nice lady, was in charge of that. There were also snacks at night. Some nights it was soup, or crackers with meat, or hot dogs.. one night there was chicken fettuccini. There was a nice gym inside with an eliptical machine and a treadmill. Also a universal work out machine. I did not go in the pool or the spa, but it looked nice. Both are indoors. Overall I would say this is a great clean place with super nice staff! The only negative thing I can say is the internet is bad. I could not even open my yahoo mail.. I could get on facebook, but anything that needed to open could not. They do have a computer to use in their business center if needed.

After a day of driving, the sun was setting and I was looking for a place to bed down. A Best Western appeared and I decided this was the place. I was quickly checked in (no reservation) and had a great nights sleep and a breakfast to get me going in the morning. I also learned the Hugoton is named after the French author, Victor Hugo, who penned Les Miserables, The Hunchback of Notre Dame and many others. The manager also advised on restaurants in town.

They're the only modern hotel in the town so honestly, they could get away with being mediocre but that was by far one of my best stays at a hotel. The hotel was beautiful and pristine but it was the customer service that really impressed me. Whatever you guys are doing, it's really working. I would recommend this hotel definitely!

Best Hotel in town! Great Breakfast and friendly staff. They make you omelettes how you want them with a variety of different ingredients. Used the grill they had to cook some steaks for dinner one night. Sat in the hot tub to relax after working all day.

This is probably the best "Best Western" we ever stayed at! The Staff were very friendly and helpful. You can tell easily that they are sincere and not being nice because they have to. They even cooked made to order omelets for you. There was tip jar at the cooks station but it was well worth a couple bucks to get away from those horrendous scrambled eggs that all motels serve. This is a relatively new Best Western so accommodations were perfect. Very reasonably priced. Located a bit off the freeway but worth the small diversion. Car navigation may not find Hugoton, had to use phone to find it. One of the best policies of this location is no pets allowed EVER! I always wonder how many animals slept in my bed, the four legged kind anyway.

We were in Hugoton for school activities. The employees are very friendly and helpful. The beds were very comfortable. Trees were good choices for breakfast. Have stayed here before and will be staying again.

This hotel is a class act among the Best Western line up. The room was nicely sized with great shower. Pool & fitness center looked good but we did not use them. Location is on east side of town on the main east/west highway, but access to anywhere in town is easy. The breakfast was above average with nice omelets made on site. Front desk check out person seemed unsure how to handle a point stay, but probably just new.

Try dealing with front desk directly to get best discounts. Angie, who checked us in, recommended an excellent restaurant. She was extremely helpful. Hot tub and pool were perfect temperatures. Room was very clean and comfortable and quiet. Breakfast was incredible. Omelets made to order and wide variety of food choices. And, best of all, it was included in our room rate.

Needed a place to stay on long road trip to Santa Fe and Hugoton offered a Best Western Plus. After a long day on the road the hotel was a welcome surprise. A beautiful property, well appointed and professional.

This is an awesome place to stay when visiting the Cimarron Grasslands. The staff were very friendly and helpful from check-in and explaining any policies they have as well as your bill to the staff running the breakfast bar in the morning making eggs to order and making sure the tables and area are stocked and clean.

Hotel was much better than expected. All of the facilities were clean, the staff was very nice. Cooked to order breakfast, laundry available, very comfortable. I did not use the health facilities or pool, but they looked very nice also.

Had a great stay in Hugoton, Kansas. Great breakfast they even made homemade omelets. Also like that they had the local paper. The employee at the desk told me all about the restaurants in town and directed me to a great library.

This was the third or fourth time we have stayed at this particular BW. This time the floor of our shower was absolutely filthy. I'm not sure the lady that came to the room was actually the manager, she was not dressed like a professional and pretended she couldn't understand English. She repeatedly asked what I wanted her to do. She took $20 off of our room and lost our business. There are other choices in town for lodging.

This was a typical BW. The bed was comfy but internet service was poor to non-existent. Possibly due to misconfiguration. Comfy pillows and bed. Omelette bar at breakfast was a nice touch. Warm biscuits would have been nice instead of cold.

I enjoyed a very quiet room, though the hotel was busy. The room held a comfortable atmosphere, where I experienced a sense of security and enjoyed some really great sleep. (I often have trouble with finding a comfortable pillow, but not here.) I would have loved to stay a couple more days, but had to get back home to work.

We were tired during our drive to east coast and crashed at this BW late at night. The receptionist was very helpful and everything was smooth. Since we had booked in, they were waiting for us. The room was neat, clean, comfy, had the needful. The stay was uneventful, and quiet. The checkout was fast (express) and hassle free.

Very comfortable bed, clean room, friendly staff - very nice place to stay. I gave it four stars because it was a bit off the beaten path for us, anyway. But well worth it!! The breakfast was extraordinary - fresh made omelets, how you want them, bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy - Best we have had in a long time!

Every staff member at this facility was helpful and grateful we chose this location for our stay. Everyone felt very appreciated, because they went above and beyond to make our stay pleasant. Very nice newer hotel with clean, quiet rooms. This is what we have come to expect. The surprise was at breakfast....we rounded the corner and her was a lovely lady making fresh omelets to order as well as "over easy" and scrambled. What a treat!

We were there for a funeral and we needed everything to go perfect and it did. I noticed the hotel was very clean and inviting as soon as I entered. The front desk was extremely helpful in answering my questions. The breakfast in the morning was excellent and the staff was so kind. This hotel was a very pleasant surprise. It was very clean and the staff were very friendly. Easy check-in and check-out. Bed was comfortable, soft but not too soft. Nice linens on the bed. Large room with couch, chairs, desk, dresser, and TV. also small refrigerator and microwave. There was a great breakfast bar with everything you could want including a made to order omelet bar. Hotel seemed fairly new. clerk at front desk said Hugoton was a quiet place but the town is starting to grow.

This was a very nice hotel for a reasonable price. Everything seemed new, clean and modern. Breakfast was really good and the staff was ultra accommodating. The "hometown" hospitality was outstanding.

This hotel is relatively new. The staff is excellent. I stayed about 3 weeks there this past year because of business in Hugoton. I had a peaceful sleep and an opportunity to work out in their exercise room. The pool is small but nice and only needs a bit of cleaning on the tiles to keep it tip top. I frequently had made to order omelettes there by Alicia and they were perfect. I recommend this hotel for your stay in Southwest Kansas.

Finally a nice, clean, modern place to stay in Hugoton! Stayed at the Best Western Plus last night. Staff were courteous and the queen bed suite we had was comfy. Beds were comfy. Went down to breakfast and it was a nice breakfast bar. My only complaint was that the coffee was warm, not hot. That is a minor thing. Will definitely stay there again!

On our way home to Topeka from Albuquerque, Hugoton was half way. So we stopped there for the night and found accommodations far better than we could have hoped for. Very quiet, comfy, new. We ate downtown at Los Agaves and had excellent food. (The biscuits and gravy at breakfast wasn't good. Should have had the person there fix me an omelet to taste.)

This was a beautiful place to stay and very well located for food and shopping! It was clean and had a great breakfast. We enjoyed our time there very much! The pool was very chlorinated, but it was nice sized and the hot tub was hot and in good working order. However, I don't appreciated having to write such a long review!

it is right of the highway and felt new and fresh and clean! lovely views of vast farmlands. Perfect location to have a place to stay, not much around there. Staff were nice. Lots of fast food close by.

The Best Western Plus in Hugoton, KS is by far the best darn value in the area. From it's modern decor, to the 'made to order' eggs for breakfast you can't ask for anything more. If you're thinking of staying in Hugoton or in the surrounding area you should definitely give it a try, you won't be disappointed

5 stars.. Beds are comfortable, Rooms very clean, staff very helpful. Nice pool & hot tub( handy-cap accessible lifts) .Great breakfast area, Good food. Pleasant place to stay, so stop in when in this area. You will not be disappointed.

We were in Hougoton, Ks for a track meet. Loved having a place to stay local, no traveling to Liberal or Guymon. . The place was very clean and rooms were spacious. All the personnel were helpful. Breakfast was great. Love the fresh omelettes. Will be staying again.

The entire staff, both front desk and housekeeping, were fantastic and friendly. They really knew how to make someone feel welcomed at their facility. Having cookies and coffee out all day for guests is a really nice touch. The rooms were also very clean, and the pool was relaxing. I'd like to thank the maintenance man again. We had an electrical issue in our room (no lights or outlets worked in 1/2 of our room) and the maintenance man came down on Easter Sunday to fix it. We know he didn't have to and that we could have simply moved rooms, but it made us smile to know he was willing to come down anyways.

Had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western Plus Stevens County Inn, Hugoton, KS..... Was very pleasantly surprised at how modern the hotel was....very nice rooms, full amenities and the breakfast is second to none, including made to order eggs! You normally won't find such a treasure in the more remote areas of the country so doing so is a bonus. Make sure to book a room here when you need one, you'll not be disappointed

I have stayed at this BW in Hugoton several times over the last few months, and each time it has been a pleasant experience. The staff is friendly and the hotel is quiet. It is a newer hotel and the rooms are well appointed. One of the best features is the full breakfast, with made-to-order omelets. The food/eating area is kept immaculate by an attentive server. Great hotel in a small town.

We were snow bound in Clayton New Mexico on our way to Taos. We were extremely fortunate to find a room at the Best Western. The employees worked very hard to clear the parking lot and walks during the storm. Front office staff was great in suggesting restaurants. Breakfast staff the next morning not only provided a bountiful breakfast but also gave everyone a note with phone numbers for weather information in the 4 state area. We will certainly stay here again when in this area .

Hidden well decorated hotel in the middle of virtually nowhere. Great stop over point regardless of the direction of your travel. Avoid big town. This place is nice. Definitely take a street view room.

I was surprised to find a really good hotel in a very small town in southwestern Kansas. It was clean, comfortable, modern, and the beds were very comfortable. The staff were competent but not overly friendly. The view from our room was ------ well it is western kansas so there isn't much to see but the prairie has its own beauty. The breakfast was excellent with eggs made to order and a nice selection of cereals and pastries. Two thumbs up from me!

Very nice & comfortable place to stay. Staff was very nice & rooms very clean. The only downside was room on the traffic side. Big trucks slowing down at night are pretty loud. May not be able to hear if fan is on, but it was necessary to have on. Breakfast was great!

Hotel was clean, comfortable but the free breakfast was the biggest surprise. Usual items but also a person making made to order omelets. Coffee & cookies always available was also a treat. Staff was very friendly on all shifts.

After passing through several small towns and seeing no motels that we cared to stay in we came to Hugoton with fear and trepidation. Things looked less than promising until we asked at a gas station and the attendant suggested a new motel out in the edge of town. It was the nearly new Best Western Plus! And it is wonderful! The people working there are pleasant and helpful. The rooms are great. The bed was excellent. It was spotlessly clean. And in the morning there is a lady who makes omlets to order in the large breakfast area. It was 5-Star quality and service. After suffering "sticker shock" at some Holiday Inn Express sites during this trip through Colorado, Kansas, and Iowa the price of less than $100 was welcome news. I'm tired of hearing prices of $170 or $140 for motels that may not be as nice as this one in locations not so different than this one so I applaud the owners for offering high quality at an acceptable price.

Great hotel. Breakfast is real whole food and made to order omeletts. Great bedding and modern clean look. Friendly staff. Centrally located to many small rural towns in South Western Kansas. We will stay here again.

We stayed here for a family function and it is a new hotel the room was very nice and very comfortable beds. The breakfast was one of the best I have ever had they would make you a egg omlet how ever you wanted it, one thing that would of been nice is a high chair for my grand baby.

We arrived at this establishment around 2am exhausted and needing a place to sleep. We had a quick check in and friendly service. The room was beautiful and very clean. The air conditioning worked well in the room and then breakfast in the AM was top notch! Thanks BWPlus!

I booked a room at the Best Western Plus in Hugoton, KS through the Best Western.com website. The website claims that Best Western hotels are pet friendly. And I assumed that was for all Best Western hotels. When we arrived, I told the woman at check in and she said they didn't allow dogs. I said I was unaware of that when I booked the room. She then asked if my dogs were housebroken and I said they were. She said she loved dogs too and she then said I could take them to my room. We put the dogs in the bathroom for the duration of our stay and cleaned up after them when we took them outside for walks. I was unaware that I'd been charged a $200 fee when I went to pay my Visa card statement. I called the manager to ask for a refund and she declined. I was told that Ms. Escobar, the front desk person changed her story about what she told me. She lied and said she told me that only service dogs were allowed. That was never discussed. Why is there a difference between allowing service dogs and pets? Dogs are dogs and the service dog owners don't get charged for their animals. This hotel is also supposed to be smoke free but there was an employee smoking on the premises as I smelled it when we were coming in from the side entrance.

We were very happy with this motel. The price was reasonable. The breakfast was excellent. The rooms were newer, clean and comfortable. Was satisfied with Best Western quality and if the price is right, will stay again.

Friendly and helpful staff. GM was training and teaching staff when I arrived. Check in by Samantha was quick and painless. The room was new and comfortable. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again. Cheers!

The hotel is new. Lobby is inviting. Rooms are clean and pleasant. Bedding very comfortable. Recommend for all types of travel. Staff helpful. Cookies, coffee and tea in the lobby. Can't go wrong with this hotel. Breakfast had a lot of variety.

Awesome little gem. The staff was staff and the décor was what you expect from BW . The room was very clean and large. Pool was nice. Standard BW breakfast selection so you know what to expect in the morning. Great place to stop and break up a long trip.

Motel was newly renovated. Noise is a problem as all the hall floors on the first floor are tile and the sound carries. Service was good and breakfast was good. Best accommodations available in the area

Wonderful caring staff who went out of their way making sure we had a great week. Everything was extremely clean and the Breakfast was always hot and fresh. Staff asked if we needed anything any time we saw them. One of the best I have stayed at through out the years.

We were taking a diagonal route which took us through very rural areas. After a long day of driving, this hotel was a true gem in the middle of many miles of fields. Yet, I would be very pleased to have found this hotel anywhere else. It would be worth re-routing a trip to stop here!

This hotel is one of the nicest hotels I have stayed at in a rural community. My wife and I travel all over the country and have stayed in hundreds of hotels. It is rare to find a hotel this nice in a small community like Hugoton. We were in town for a wedding and they let us have a late check out because the wedding was in the afternoon. They also had coffee and cookies available all day. My only critique would is, it would be nice to have a few more hot breakfast items options in the morning.

Newly opened hotel and everything is really nice. The staff were all very friendly. We enjoyed the indoor pool and hot tub - although we thought it was odd they put the switch to turn on the hot tub on the opposite side of the room. I didn't try the breakfast. My only negatives are that I ended up in a room without a bathtub (which may be because I asked for a room near my family members that were staying there) and it was louder than I expected overnight.

The staff was very friendly. The hotel was brand new & therefore nice. There were only a few people at the hotel, yet the room next to us was occupied. Of course, the occupants were very loud into the night. Breakfast the first morning was not acceptable and we had to eat out, but the 2nd morning it was really good. We really enjoyed the fitness center, pool, and hot tub.
