Herning City Hotel, Sure Hotel Collection by Best Western

Hotel immediately off of walking street in town with multiple restaurants . Room clean and very pleasant . Good secure outside bicycle storage . Bathroom clean and bright . Breakfast was very good with many food choices , hot and cold . Staff very nice but a bit difficult to check in at appointed time because no one was available to let us into the reception area or to check us in to the hotel . Obviously a staff shortage

We found this hotel as a perfectly located in the town centre. Clean and cosy. Excellent breakfast served. Variety of fruits and vegetable available as well typical danish pastry served. The staff was always ready to help you with a smile on the face.

Tiny room, barely big enough for one narrow single bed and a small armoire.. No air conditioning or fan. The bed's head end is placed up against a double shelf, making it practically impossible to sit up comfortably. No drinking glass is provided in the bathroom; a paper cup will have to do. Breakfast was a pretty good spread, on a par with other Danish hotels, with the exception of the "orange juice," which tasted like flavored water. The staff is pleasant but too often missing in action. At one point I stood at the front desk and dinged the bell 10 times over five or six minutes; finally and coincidentally, the front desk clerk arrived from outside, carrying supermarket bags, having evidently abandoned her post to go grocery shopping. Herning is a small town with a sleepy, lethargic feel, and the hotel reflects it.

I spent 2 nights at Herninh City hotel for my business teip in Denmark. I would say this is a great experience to stay, the hotel is in the center of Herning City. Locations is the best as I can find many restaurant, shops nearby. Even though it is really quiet in the evening. Staffs were very kind and friendly. The hotel is not big but it was really efficient for my stay, there is a small bar located on at the lobby. I stayed on the 2nd floor and the room is quite spacious and clean. Breakfast was also good, typically Dansih food. I really enjoyed. So far great, and it is recommended.

We stopped over for one night and the hotel served perfectly our needs. Good value, clean and quite. This hotel is now called Herning City Hotel and no longer Corona Hotel, apparently planed pre pandemic ;) Location: right in the city center, next to the pedestrian zone. Free parking next to hotel Rooms: room had a good size w a sizeable bathroom (shower). The room was functional, good bed& lighting and recently renovated. It was quite at night, windows could be opened. Decorations was new and solid. Breakfast: a small buffet, which was a bit limited. However, it was served in a very inviting, bright breakfast room. Good start to the day.

The hotel is simple, cozy and in the center of Herning, within walking distance to everything. The staff is very friendly and very professional. Breakfast is decent and the wifi works perfectly. Very funny password :)
