Je m’inscris Very nice hotel. Room was extremely clean. . Comfortable beds and pillows with large rooms. Convenient to restaurants and stores. Free cooked to order breakfast. Don't be put off by all the road construction, because this is a great place!
Have stayed at this BW + 10 plus times. Each and everyone of my stays have been very good. The hotel is starting to show its age, needs updating in some of the rooms that I have been in. Bed was comfortable but could use a new mattress. Even though the Main Street (Hwy 54) is under construction we had no issues with getting into or out of the hotel parking lot. The excellent restaurant next door, Pier 54, is closed. Several alternative restaurants are available directly across the highway from the hotel.
As a platinum member the rooms and service were unacceptable. No water given upon our arrival. We had 2 rooms and both rooms had ants and smelly odor. When we complained we were told that's all there were for us. I wouldn't recommend staying at this hotel.
Very clean, great staff and secure parking lot. The breakfast was great with cook to order eggs and the staff was very nice day and night.
Wonderful people. Great clean and quiet rooms, with a good breakfast for all. The bathroom could have been designed better (lighting especially) and the coffee in the room was bitter. But drip coffee is not for me no matter where I get it.
Spent one night here on a cross-country trip. The hotel is lovely. Well-appointed rooms, comfy beds, and very nice bathroom. We didn't eat the breakfast, but it sounded great - eggs to order is something you don't get very often with complimentary hotel breakfast. Was very impressed at how quiet our room was. We travel with two small dogs and they weren't woken up by any noises in the hall or from other rooms.
Riley, at check-in was super nice! Our room (103) was kind of small, but adequate for a night (very narrow and high ceilings and a bit dark for our taste); the bathroom was tiny. The lobby/breakfast are also very small but breakfast was great with made to order eggs...any way you want them. The A/C was not cooling quite enough for our taste, but the bed was very comfortable. Yes, we would stay again!
This was the best experience we have had at a hotel in the past few years. Extremely clean, staff was very friendly and the bed was the most comfortable we have slept on ever in any hotel during our travels! Will only stay here when we come back to Guymon!
The staff was extremely nice & helpful. The room was so clean, bed very comfy, and our pets were welcomed. Breakfast was awesome and filling. BW will be the only hotel for us from now on. Thank you BW for the awesome experience!
Rooms were generally fine, and clean. Having stayed at many Best Westerns I can say this is so far in years of travel the most unfriendly bunch. They were so bothered with everything and unhappy they had to fix their own system or a prior colleagues lack of effort. Generally made the whole stay unpleasant. Stay somewhere the staff cares you're ultimately paying their paycheck.
Great rooms and wonderful breakfast. The room we had was clean, well stocked, and sound proof. The lighting in the hall was subdued so you were not keep awake by bright light. For breakfast we had made to order omelets with plenty of sides to choose from. If you stay here, make sure to request an upper floor room.
The entire process was easy from online reservation to picking up my room keys. I stayed overnight on business and I was quiet pleased when I saw that the room was very clean, and the restroom was in great working order. It did have a closed up smell but I just sprayed some room freshener and all was good.
This was the 11th BW property on our 3-week trek and was very happy with the accommodations. The room was comfortable, and the breakfast was over the top as the eggs were cooked to order. The Front Desk staff was very cheerful and helpful.
The hotel sits back from the highway which makes it quiet. Friendly, competent front desk staff. Breakfast was very good with some prepared potatoes and meat and cooked to order eggs. Coffee was hot and flavorful. The breakfast area was kept clean.
This was a great BW. Great Breakfast, friendly staff. It was well kept considering it heavily used by longer term workers. The only issue we had was the level of lighting in the room and bathroom The made to order eggs was awesome
Exactly what you expect at a Best Western … clean, comfortable, courteous staff, hot breakfast to get you on your way. A little challenging to find if you're coming from the west like me, but that's what can happen if you don't have GPS!
By far one of the best days I've had at a hotel. This goes for any chain, such as Marriott, Hilton, etc. etc. Front desk customer service representative was so nice and the staff was super friendly. The rooms were cool down and extremely clean. I have nothing but great things to say about this particular best Western plus location. Extremely quiet hotel, excellent night sleep, and a more than solid continental breakfast. If you're ever going through guymon, this is the place you want to stay!
(2.5) The staff were nice! But, the hot tub is lukewarm, the pool was freezing, I feel like the temperature of the hot tub is what the pool temp should be. For some reason our room was super humid with the a/c on. 1 Night stay.
A top sport to stop. I don't think any room could have been any cleaner There was comfortable seating in the room and a very comfy bed. Parking was directly in front! The room had a kitchenette. I have never experienced as many outlets for electric and USB ports (very much appreciated). Breakfast had a lot of variety including a person to do made to order breakfast. Only issue was the dim lighting throughout the room making it difficult to read at night and to see in bathroom mirror.
All hotel employees were friendly and helpful. Our suite was clean and located close to everything we needed. This is the second time we have stayed at the Best Western Plus Hotel and Suites and had a nice stay. They had an excellent variety of complementary breakfast options, the made to order breakfast burrito was delicious!
Nice, spotless, great breakfast. Amazing staff. Much better experience than I have received in the last couple of years than Hilton or Marriott and at a much more attractive price point. Staff was amazing.
Had an exterior room and it made it very easy to get to our luggage and other items in the car. Breakfast was great! Breakfast burritos and fresh Pico! Staff was friendly and very helpful. Would stay again if in the area.
We stayed here one night on our way west, and a second night two weeks later on our home. Both times, the desk clerk was very cordial and friendly, getting us all set up very promptly. The property was clean and tidy and all in good shape. Best of all, not only did they offer a very nice hot breakfast, the cook on duty prepared eggs to order! We found that a very nice little bonus!
When we walked into this room, I thought, ahhh, perfect! Room 317 is very nice, it's a kind of a suite with a little living room area with a pull out couch. Beds are very comfortable. Big enough bathroom, everything clean. Coffee maker, microwave, fridge. Full hot breakfast, lots of choices, eggs cooked to order. Two problems here…our TV didn't work. My husband rebooted the cable box and then it was fine. I watched for awhile and then shut it off. At midnight I was sound asleep, freight train came through town, right in back of hotel, sounding its horn over and over for several minutes. I couldn't go back to sleep. Tried turning on the TV again, again, no signal. So I was up most of the night listening to road noise and wishing our room was across the hall. We were in room 317. If you stay here, get something on the even side of the hallway. Probably a lot less road noise. Overall, nice hotel but I didn't sleep well.
I called in the afternoon to book a hotel and told the person I would arrive late, some time after one am. I get to the hotel at 2am and they have no rooms available and ny room was never booked. We drove 8 hours and needed to drive 9 more to reach our destination. How ridiculous.
I left my ring on the dresser. I called them to check. They wouldn't check. They weren't super concerned. They did take down my number, but having no relationship with this location, I do not trust that they cared nor passed along the message to be on the lookout for my ring.
Hotel was clean and comfortable. However, bathroom had poor lighting..needs light bulbs replaced. Also, needs more usb ports. Otherwise, no problems. Pub 54 restaurant is located right next door...very convenient at the end of a long day's journey.
Traveling from AZ to NE with a friend, we first stopped at another hotel my friend had previously stayed at. I am SO glad that hotel had no vacancy. We made a stop to see room availability here and I was thrilled with our find. This BW hotel was clean, the staff was friendly, & breakfast with eggs cooked to order was great. I don't know if I'll ever travel thru the OK panhandle again, but this will be my first choice of a hotel stay if so. They give the hotel industry a good name!
Hotel was very clean and very comfortable. Door stuck in the bathroom and shower over shoots a bit to the floor but otherwise very nice. Great place to eat across the street as well. Round Top is the name and had great food for great prices!
I travel a lot for work. I'm pretty much in a different hotel every night. I was fortunate enough to find this hotel for 4-day layover. Most everyone is pleasant and professional the breakfast is absolutely amazing. The location is a nice quiet area that has a restaurant right across the parking lot
The staff is so friendly! The hotel rooms are very clean! My family of four were traveling to Arizona & stayed there on two different occasions. Our first stay we realized my daughter forgot her phone, but we were already miles away. I called the hotel and they were able to locate the phone and they held onto it as I stated we would be back that way on our way home. After our Arizona trip we returned to the hotel to stay another night and upon check in they gave us my daughters phone, we were so relieved. We also got to utilize the hot tub and pool this visit and that was very enjoyable!
Facility is excellent, The guess rooms outside of the main facility are the best with kitchen, direct vehicle access, etc. These exterior access room building is where we prefer to stay in. Walking distance restaurants. Breakfast facility and menu are some of the best we have experienced in our travels thru GuymonOK.
We traveled from Central Texas to Oklahoma for the 5 states Poker Run. This and the other hotels in the area raised the rates for just this weekend. When asked about it was told "you dont have to stay here, but we will not give you back the deposit for the rooms. Staff was extremely rude and very unhelpful anytime we asked a question we got back attitude as if we were disturbing their day. I wont be back to this location!
Hail storm on a new car not withstanding… The hotel is clean, neat and pet friendly. Setting is terrible. As we drove up to the entrance, we passed a bank of dumpsters that are right in back of a bar that is very close to the facility. Because of the location and the bar, driving in and out of the entrance is tight. One way portico. The people are nice and the complementary breakfast is good.
This is a nice clean place, and the included breakfast allowed you to order eggs to your preference, which is great. The room was spacious and very clean. Parking was a bit limited because I arrived late but otherwise it was fine.
Room was clean with everything I needed for my night's stay. I had problems with the internet, but I had another way to access the internet in my laptop so it wasn't a huge inconvenience. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful.
This was a very very nice room, clean and fresh smelling without scents that usually cause allergic reactions in motel rooms. There was a problem with the heater but it was solved. The staff was extremely pleasant and helpful. We would definitely stay here again.
We stopped on our way through after 12 hours of driving. We were happy with the check-in, the lobby, and our room although the drains were a bit sluggish. We investigated the fitness room, which was well-equipped and had a two person (Covid) restriction. The hot tub wasn't fully functional, but we did not make use of it. Their was a grill/pub across from the lobby that had really good food for really good prices. The breakfast hostess (very sweet lady) cooks your eggs to order, too! Just a pleasant, quiet stay. The motel is about 3 miles away from a WalMart in easy traffic…fyi.
This hotel has easy access and a convenient location. The rooms,, hallways and common areas were spotlessly clean. The free breakfast had many choices including made to order eggs and breakfast burritos. Cleaning was ongoing. The staff was helpful and polite.
I occasionally stay in Guymon OK and ALWAYS stay at the Best Western. The staff is always professional and courteous and the facility is always clean. Breakfast was very good quality and the staff accommodated my need to get one the road by makin to-go burritos.
After an extremely stressful all day and into the night drive, our hotel room provided a very needed time of refreshment and quiet rest. Highly recommend a room in building behind the main hotel. It allowed us to park right in front of our room for easy load/unload, and was well isolated from any road noise. We loved it!
Checked in without reservations, was quick and easy. Breakfast was hot with made to order burritos along with the usual cereals, yogurts etc. Felt safe leaving my truck in the parking lot, can't say that in a lot of places.
Because the internet and hot tub were out of order when we checked in the sweet girl at the desk (can't remember her name, we checked in the evening of August 10th) gave us a discount on our room because those two amenities were two of the reasons we chose BWP, (along with the great reviews). And Chef Vickie and her cooking was fabulous! She was so personable and was a lovely person to everyone. The room was very clean as was the entire hotel. On our trips to and from Colorado we will be staying at BWP Guymon from now on!
a very nice pet friendly hotel with outside rooms for parking in front of door. easy to load and unload car. and wheelchair ramps right by door. and easy access to walk your babies. without walking down the hallways with people complaining
The room was just fine. Clean and recently renovated. The pool was dirty (hair and bugs), hot tub was out of service. Internet (Wifi) was out for the last two nights of our stay. IP address error that should have easily been fixed. If you want a nice place to sleep, they have nice and clean rooms and a great breakfast, but for a Plus, they need to work on the amenities. Rated cleanliness low because of the nasty pool.
The staff is always caring that willing to go above and beyond to help. The staff that prepares breakfast is always nice and willing to go above and beyond to make sure you are taken care of and full. The font desk staff is always willing to give a recommendation on things to do around town and places to eat.
staff was friendly and helpful, breakfast was made to order and excellent. The room was comfortable and clean. If I'm ever in Guymon, OK I'll stay again! This hotel has a pub right next to it and offers you exterior rooms. We stayed in an interior room.
We stayed one night. Our only dissatisfaction was the floor noise from the guest above us at 4:45 am. If you are a light sleeper this may bother you. All our other experiences were excellent. The staff were friendly and helpful, the room was spacious and very comfortable, the room was quiet except for the floor noise above us, the bed was great, the bathroom had great hot water, and having a hot cooked breakfast by Vickie was appreciated. We would stay there again, just would request an upper floor room.
The room was clean, cool, and comfortable. The front desk was fast and friendly service- breakfast was wonderful and staff was great (both prepackaged and cooked to order options). Stopped in on a whim and were pleasantly surprised. Bar across the parking lot had good food too!
Checked in late for a overnight stay staff was quick helpful got us into our room in minutes The room was clean smelled fresh we had 2 queen with a sofa pull out for 3 adults 1 child & the beds were comfortable We didn't take advantage of the pool & spa but it looked inviting The breakfast was prepared while you wait because of covid restrictions it took just a few minutes to order and be served hot eggs & bacon which was a little bland but the coffee & juice was just perfect
We were pleasantly surprised with our stay. The room was current, very clean and spacious. Our pet loved it too! They put us in a kitchenette- loved their hospitality!!! We highly recommend this location for a warm friendly welcome.
We have had such good luck staying at Best Westerns during the past 2 years - and this one did not disappoint! The hotel & rooms were extremely clean with all the amenities we needed. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The room was very quiet which provided I with a good night's sleep - which we were in need of after a 700 mile day on the road! Will stay here again!
We had driven 11 hours and just wanted a place to rest. But we were pleased with the check in and then even more so the room. Considering the few number of towns nearby that have chain hotels, we were glad we choose this hotel.
Love all things here at this Best Western! It is a great facility. The staff are very friendly. The rooms are nice and clean and the temperature worked great. The breakfast was good. We will definitly stay again if in the area!
This is a great hotel for anyone passing thru the Oklahoma panhandle. I couldn't believe how awesome the breakfast was during covid times. Hot breakfast and the kitchen cooks right as you wait. Good value, safe and clean, good location and a breakfast you will love.
Nice place to stay for the night. Unfortunately the Pub was closed, which was one reason I chose it on Priceline. Nice staff working the night shift. The pool and hot tub was nice after a long drive. Clean room.
Carpeting in 209, handicap accessible room very dirty. Desk clerk at checkout was rude to my son about rules and rates. I had specified two small house dohs on making direct reservation myself via phone. She told my son, a professional engineer, we did not! Poor customer relations first time ever with BW!
After driving in the middle of nowhere and going through some pretty rustic towns, this hotel was a welcome surprise. The afternoon/evening desk clerk was so helpful. There is a restaurant on site called “The Pub.” We will go there next time we come through. Our room was immaculate. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable. We had a king room which had a kitchenette. These rooms are not in the same building, but a very nice option. We will definitely stay there again!!!
Front desk personnel was very friendly & helpful. The bed in rooms are comfortable, especially after driving all day. We've stayed here in the past & it's always been a good stay on our way to/from our main destination.
First night on our road trip - we quit staying at BW years ago after a bad experience, but decided to give this one a try, and we're not disappointed! Actually impressed, and may become loyal BE customers again. Reception staff was friendly, helpful, and efficient. Room & common areas were very clean. Bed was comfortable. Only not so perfect thing was the couch & chair were extremely hard. And breakfast was the icing on the cake. We thought we might get cold cereal and a muffin. Instead, we had a cooked to order breakfast. The attendant was great, making sure we knew our options, cooking them perfectly, then making sure we were happy with how they turned out. My burrito with eggs, hash browns, bacon, and cheese was delicious & hot. My husband's eggs were cooked perfectly and hot along with his bacon, hash browns and bagel. This will be our go to stop when traveling the Oklahoma panhandle!
Very clean and friendly staff. Especially during these times of Covid-19. Having stayed at other hotels, Best Western is the Best to stay at. The beds were super comfortable and also having to bring our pet with needed the 'pet-friendly' experience.
Wonderful stop on the way to the Grand Canyon for spring break The hotel is very clean and very friendly staff. Breakfast is very nice and great choices. Extra benefit is swindled up lady making eggs fresh any way you like. Scrambled , over easy, omelet or burrito. Just like being home. Highly recommend.
Beautiful hotel, CLEAN in every way. Beds were comfortable. Towels were white & felt new. The BREAKFAST was outstanding! This beautiful young woman is there to make eggs any way you want them. Omelets, over easy, scrambled, breakfast burrito & she delivers it to you at your table! Talk about making you feel at home. Besides she keeps everything else full on the buffet. Everyone was so friendly, it was totally our pleasure to stay there.
Very nice hotel with several different room options. Good location right on 54 but rooms are still quiet. Excellent bed for a good nights sleep. Pet friendly for your best friend. Great cooked to order breakfast. Will stay here again.
Really nice room, very comfortable and quiet. Great for the one night but would have been nice for longer I'm sure. Breakfast smelled great too bad we didn't make it down in time to eat. I will definitely remember this place next time we come to play at the casino
Stayed here for 1 night. The room was clean and well kept. Couch and chair were new as well. Front desk staff was awesome! Breakfast was the best I've had in a long time. No powdered egg here. Made to order fresh eggs or a burrito. Pan fried potatoes real sausage and bacon. Nice touch!
For a small town like Guymon, they have an exceptional high quality hotel in the Best Western. Conveniently located. Friendly staff. Exceptional service. Great breakfast with eggs cooked to order. They even helped me secure a banana late in the evening because I had some medicine that needed to be taken with food. Would defintely stay there again.
Eggs, bacon, sausage links, waffles, and cook-to-order breakfast burritos, what more could you ask for! Bed was comfortable, Jacuzzi jets were weak (no bubbles) in the suite so that is the only reason I gave my review 4 stars instead of 5!
We were fully pleased with our stay and very relieved it worked out so well after crossing the no-mans OK panhandle in the dark, wind, sleet and rain for two hours. The weather was terrilble which made the warm, modern, clean, comfortable, quiet room very much appreciated. The adjacent BW restaurant/bar was very convenient and good. (It has take out.) Breakfast was good in the hotel.
Courteous desk clerk. Made to order breakfast. Very nice place and very quiet. Our room was one of our nicest ever. It was a suite at a very good price. Room was at price normal for regular room. Pub next door.
This is an average branded hotel, but with the stairwell doors propped open, this is a serious concern in the event of a fire. A fire on the first floor could quickly fill the upper floors with smoke, as well as giving a path for a fire to follow.
Floors were not clean. Especially around the refrigerator and in the bathroom. Charged an excessive pet fee for a room that is very dated and in need of repairs. Staff was nice, but we won't go back because of the room conditions.
Very friendly staff, they have a pool and fitness center and fresh eggs for breakfast. It is a fairly new facility and will stay there again. Easy access off the highway and plenty of parking for any type of vehicle.
After being on the road all day, we were ready to relax. And that we did. The bed was very comfortable and we appreciated having the restaurant next door. However, around 9:30 the next morning, as we were preparing to leave, the housekeeper barged into the room without knocking and in doing so let our dog out. He was quickly grabbed and back into the room, but the housekeeper continued to try to enter. I had to forcefully shut the door to keep her out! We even had the Do Not Disturb sign on the door! It was unacceptable for her to walk in like that. That kind of left a black mark on our stay.
Great value! They have rooms with two queen beds plus pull out couch, perfect for our family of five. Clean, comfortable, and updated. The coffee was even pretty amazing. Wish we would have made it back on our trip back home.
My wife and I were driving from IL to AZ, and after 15 hours on the road, we were greeted by Lisa at the desk and she took care of us from there. Would absolutely stay in the jacuzzi king suite again!
We've stayed at other hotels in the area, and that one is the best. Best service, best breakfast, super comfy beds. If you have family at the university in Goodwell, they offer a discount. They even remember what room we like!
Hotel was very clean and well maintained, staff was very courteous and attentive. The rooms were very comfortable and well decorated. The restaurant has a wide variety of selections and my food was well prepared. Server was very pleasant.
We have stayed here many times on our way to and from Arizona. It is a good location. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They are pet friendly. The breakfast in the morning has a nice selection and made to order eggs! Will stay here again!
Nice motel with friendly people. Nice room with plenty of room and furniture to sit and visit or work. Room had fridge and microwave. Very good breakfast with eggs made to order. Only problem was congestion due to it's location and local building going on.
Nice motel and nice people. Good breakfast. Location not so great, too congested with lots of other things crammed in area, plus closed access road and construction of another motel going on. Nice sitting area in room we were staying in.
The room was clean, comfortable, and attractive with a sofa. I have stayed here before a few years ago and it's condition and the current condition and service appeared to be the same pleasant stay experience.
It was nice but they need to work on customer service for their guests. The hot tub was out of service during my stay. There continental breakfast was great, made to order breakfast burritos and fresh eggs. They had a wonderful yogurt parfait bowl also.
Good:Again the staff was accommodating and nice! The breakfast included cook to order eggs and other typical breakfast items you would received at an average complimentary breakfast. Lastly, the hotel allowed for an early check-in. Bad: At first, the room we reserved was the suite that included the couch, not the kitchenette option. However, we were placed in the suite with the kitchenette which made our space limited. The carpets in the room were dirty with stains, it was gross! Also, there was some sort of sticky candy on the shelves, clearly disregarded by the cleaning staff since it was in plain sight. Secondly, the water pressure in our bathroom was poor, so we ended up using the sink outside the bathroom. This was very inconvenient. During the evenings, the lighting was always very dim, even with all of the lamps on. Lastly, when trying to go to bed, the window AC unit blew directly at side of the bed. This cold air blowing made it uncomfortable, however, we needed the AC since it was a warm day/night. Therefore one person in our room did not have a good night sleep for 2 nights.
This hotel offered oversize rooms with 2 queen beds and a couch. It was very comfortable for our family. The front desk staff was very helpful. Breakfast was really a treat with made to order breakfast burritos and eggs.
Tried to charge me for 2 nights. I left early a.m. the next morning traveling cross country...have gas receipts to prove it. They stated: "there were clothes all over your room." wonder whose they were?!!!!
I was traveling with my elderly aunt that suffers from dementia. We were greeted by two very friendly and helpful young ladies, that checked us in. The hotel appeared to be clean, and had no unpleasant odors. Our room was on the third floor, at the end of the hallway. Our room was clean, beds and pillows were comfortable. We were tired from traveling, and hungry, so we walked next door (at the suggestion of the front desk) and enjoyed a nice quite dinner, at Pub 54. We came back to our room, rested. And decided we wanted to get into the hot tub and relax, so we changed into our swimwear and coverups. We went downstairs to the pool area, only to discover that the hot tub was a “cold tub”. As we walked past the front desk to go to our room, we inquired as to when it might be fixed. We were told that it would be fixed by the next day... but the same issue was encountered once again, the following evening, upon our return. We inquired when it might be working and were given a rather rude response, to our somewhat joking question of receiving a discount, since we paid $160 a night, and had not been able to use the hot tub, at all. We have not had a lot of experience with Best Western, but not real impressed, by this one.
My friends and i stayed here a couple days ago, the lady working at the front desk was very helpful. The rooms were clean. Nice pool area. We almost missed breakfast, but the lady working that morning ( her name was Brenda) made us some breakfast burritos right away. She was very polite and made sure we had plenty to eat since she was cleaning up and getting ready to close the breakfast area. Thank you again Brenda i hope you see this review.
My family and I stayed here and we really liked this hotel. Their rooms are very clean, the staff was very helpful. They have a great variety on their breakfast, the lady even makes breakfast burritos. We Will definitely stay here again.
I was excited about our suite, as it had 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa. We decided to turn in about 11pm and pulled the covers back to find a sock left in the sheets. Pulled the sheet all the way back and discovered dirt in the sheets (like clumps from someone's shoe) It was late and we were tired from our 12 hour drive so I just slept on top of the covers and alerted the front desk of our issue that morning at check out. The sock could have accidentally gotten mixed up in the laundry but the dirt? It made me think the sheets hadn't been changed since the last guest. It really soured the experience for me. The front desk clerk said she would issue me a discount if I wasn't a rewards member. I'm not holding my breath that anything will be done. The bathrooms are a little small for a room that sleeps 5. No separate vanity outside the bathroom. And there is an absence of available outlets in the room. The light in the bathroom came on intermittently and there was a lose tile in the bathroom just as you walked in. On a positive note, the bed was comfortable and until I found the sock and dirt, I was very pleased overall with the space in the room. We ate at the pub located in the same lot. Service was excellent and food was VERY good.
Excellent lodging for the price, Breakfast was better than most others in this market. Liked the fresh cooked to order eggs and breakfast items, Use caution in pool area dangerous very slick tile and water doesn't drain away very well..
Room was very spacious, clean, and beds were very comfortable. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Easy to find and has a very good restaurant (the Pub) right out front. I highly recommend this hotel.
We really enjoyed our stay. The rooms were very clean and comfortable. The location was close to everything we needed. We were on the go and didn't have much dealing with the staff, but they were friendly when we did. My only complaint would be the elevator, the elevator was terribly slow every time we attempted to use it.
I was charged a $200 smoking fee because I threw away an empty pack of cigarettes in the trash can in my room. The room smelled of smoke when I checked in, but since I'm a smoker myself, it didn't bother me, so I didn't say anything. The clerk saw me go outside multiple times to smoke, and she confirmed this when I called about the extra charge on my bill. She promised that a manager would call me back, but no one ever did, and when I've called since, they're always busy. Lesson learned, folks. Don't throw away your trash in the trash can at this hotel.
Great service, clean, comfortable, fantastic fresh cooked breakfast with made to order eggs. We travel with our dogs and always try to be responsible pet owners (i.e. pick up dog poop, always leashed outdoors, etc). We love getting the king kitchenette with drive up to the door parking. Restaurant next door with ok food. This trip we got a corner room with lots of grass for the pups. Wish there were more outdoor trash cans for pet waste disposal, but that's a minor point on an overall wonderful quick overnight stay. Good job to the whole team.
We met our daughter halfway to hang out, no wifi, no staff help, when we asked where to go during tornado, they thought this was a stupid question. However we did have to leave and go for cover at a school while we were there. tornado never touched down but we had 80mph straight line winds, which was very scary. I was extremely disappointed with them.
Clean, comfortable and great service. Breakfast was excellent. Helpful staff. Full kitchen in the rooms in the back. WiFi was down but so what! Ok, that's enough, but since TripAdvisor requires 200 words.......
I was chaperone for a 18-person school field trip and reserved 6 rooms. Pleasantly surprised that each room came with an extra sleeper-sofa bed. (Was not expecting.) The students who were sharing rooms were pleased. Breakfast was great with the made-to-order omelet or scrambled eggs. A/C had ability to be turned very low (cold room) which was nice. The only down side was the room did not have a lot of extra power outlets, so you have to unplug lamps if you need to charge more than one device.
I stayed here for a business trip. Check-in was easy, the employee at the front desk attentive and nice. The room itself was very clean, with a microwave, mini-fridge, and coffee maker. Really the only downside is that the bed was too stiff for me, as were the sofa and the lounge chair. Other than that, I didn't have any problems. No loud nice or anything.
Wow, what a wonderful breakfast at this hotel in Guymon, OK. Normally I do not comment on the free breakfasts at hotels because most of the food comes out of a package that is pre-made. We had made to order eggs. My husband always orders sunny side up and most cooks do not know how to prepare them or not well, anyway. His were perfectly made with several other options to eat as well. Even the fruit was fresh cut as well as whole fruit offered. Also, the venue was well decorated, clean, and large with laundry facilities, indoor pool, workout area, and a very nice restaurant and bar about 35 steps away. We will definitely stop here again during our travels. Well done Best Western Plus in Guymon, OK!!
Very clean and up to standard and then some. A lil pricey at $119 total even with our discounts for a place in the Oklahoma panhandle. Free breakfast had a large variety and fresh, and make to order eggs, bacon sausage potato patties, full meal deal. Very good. Room was spacious with chair couch and desk space with comfy office chair. large screen tv and King size bed was super comfy.
Nice and quiet. No truck or train noise once you were inside the hotel. Window unit was controlled by a wall thermostat, which kept the room cozy. Pet friendly environment with a dog walk area. Just what we needed after a long day of travel.
Talisa, and Karla made everything so easy. They were very nice and respectful. Wish there were many others like them! This is by far the best Best Western in the whole nation. Very friendly as well. Brenda is also very friendly during breakfast hours. Shes very fast and professional.
Highly recommend this hotel. All staff was so friendly and helpful! Felt like family. Our room was spacious, clean and cozy on a cold evening. Great breakfast - fresh fruit, biscuits and gravy, all other usual items plus made to order eggs! Inside halls and elevator- no stairs to climb. A nice pub/restaurant in walking distance. We will be back and recommend others anytime in the Guymon area!
We split up our drive from Arkansas to Colorado with an overnight stay here. Our room was very clean and the whole hotel was clean and well-managed. Best Western Plus is where I want to stay now. We traveled with dogs and paid a little extra but it was worth it to have them with us and they are indoor-trained so their was no issue whatsoever on their part or the hotel's part. We enjoyed a nice breakfast provided by the hotel the next morning and we were on our way!
I've stayed in a few of these Best Western Plus hotels this year. They aren't quite up to Hampton Inn or Holiday Inn Express hotels, but they're trying. My room was in an out building with an exterior entrance (rooms in the 400's). It was a handicap room with a small kitchenette. I didn't get the closet though with the bar only about 2.5 feet off the floor - won't be able to hang my pants up for sure. No desk in the room, just a table with 2 chairs to work from. It's quiet and the room heats up well on a cool night.
Stopped on our way to Dodge City. I must say we were pleasantly surprised. The bed was amazing, in fact, I checked the brand to remember for a future purchase. The breakfast was so good also. You will not be disappointed here.
On our journey from Delaware, we came into Guymon looking for a place to bed down for the night. Saw this property, went in and inquired as to pricing. Agreed upon a king bed stay and were pleased with our stay. We had driven from Memphis prior to stopping, so we were tired, but did enjoy going next door to the pub located there for a bite to eat before calling it a night. All in all, would make it a point to stay here again if we're ever in the neighborhood.
Stayed at this BW Plus recently on a trip out West. It is located convenient to the highway and has a pub restaurant next door. This hotel is definitely one of the nicer ones in town. It appeared new or almost new, nicely decorated and well maintained. Staff were courteous and helpful. Breakfast was very good and you can get eggs cooked to order, unusual at most lodgings that provide a complimentary breakfast with your stay. Beds were comfortably firm and the rooms nice. Overall very pleased with our stay.
I was at BW+ Guymon for one night: the room was very good, with a very comfortable bed and a spacious bathroom. Air conditioning was noisy, but insulation from outside noise was good.Breakfast was outstanding, with eggs and burritos made to order!Staff were friendly and helpful
Was very nice hotel very friendly staff. Breakfast was amazing very well set up. Overall hotel was great all staff was very friendly. Rooms very nice and comfortable bed was very cozy. Town nice little town.
The stay here was great, they were busy updating with new carpet. The crew working were very courteous to the people staying here. The room was very clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The breakfast was cooked to order. I would definitely stay here again
The only issue I had was the a.c. stopped working and when I called the front desk the lady was very rude the a.c. did not come on till about 9pm. When I had told the owner the next day about the issue she has the issue fix within mins. The owner of the hotel will go above and beyond for her guests just wish some of her staff would follow her example
Stayed here 3 times this year, love the "eggs cooked to order" that this location has for breakfast. The staff is always friendly and very accommodating. Wish the rooms were a little more quiet but the hotel can't help that the patrons are roudy.
I have stayed at this Best Western several times and have always been satisfied. The location is convenient and there is a restaurant within walking distance so a person doesn't have to drive around after having been on the road all day. The restaurant is Pub 54 and has good food and very friendly staff. The hotel also has friendly staff, is very clean, the breakfast is good, and the hotel rates are reasonable. The decor of the rooms could use a bit of updating but that doesn't stop me from staying there!!!!
Decent Price, A very pleasant staff, The hole hotel has just been remodeled, Traveled by motorcycle and staff allowed us to park bikes under overhang to keep out of rain. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.
This is by far one of the best hotels we have stayed in, have some amazing staff from front desk to specially Brenda the breakfast lady. She made our eggs and burritos fresh as requested and had a large selection of breakfast items, she was amazing with all the guests. I would suggest anyone looking for a hotel in Guymon Oklahoma, to stay at this Best western. The staff are so friendly and helpful and go out of their way to make sure you are well taken care of during your stay, thank you Best western staff for a memorable stay.
We enjoyed the breakfast during our stay and the breakfast attendant was so kind and welcoming to our family! Fresh eggs made to order...you don't find that anywhere else! We will definitely be back!!
We stayed at this hotel and first was given a room that had no water tank for the toilet and then was changed to another room and stayed two nights. We were in town for our good friends granddaughter's wedding and did not spend too much time in the room. That same weekend a golf tournament for 12 to 18 year old was in progress and there were several young golfers in rooms around us. When we received our credit card statement, there was an extra $500.00 charge on it for which the front desk told me was for a broken television that had been broken by a golf ball, I explained that we do not play golf and do not even own golf balls or clubs. The next time I spoke with the hotel manager who then said that the damage was caused by something golf ball sized. Our good friends went to the hotel to get what proof they had and she was shown a very grainy picture of a television but would not produce a key audit or show her the television and that the charges would stand. I called customer service at corporate headquarters and explained the situation but did not receive any help from them and then was told we had been put on a DO NOT RENT list as if we would ever darken a Best Western door again. DO NOT STAY AT ANY BEST WESTERN AS YOU AMY HAVE EXTRA CHARGES!!!!
Ok so this is the second time I have stayed at this location, and it is a great hotel. The rooms are clean, and the beds are comfortable. I got to catch the soccer match between Mexico and Sweden. The breakfast is delicious with freshly made eggs, and a breakfast attendant that keeps the food items stocked. The front desk staff from morning to night all are excellent and knowledgeable about the surrounding area. I will continue to stay at this location anytime I travel to Guymon. Also the restaurant they have on site called Pub 54 was affordable and very good.. If you are travelling in the Oklahoma panhandle choose this hotel you will not regret it.
had a wonderful stay , slept very good, very clean , and staff is very nice didn't have any problems with the room , breakfast was amazing will be returning and recommending to my family and friends .
Really nice hotel. Very clean, comfortable beds and the rooms have room! You can stretch out and relax without having to lay on the bed. Swimming pool and a hot tub area attached to it. Exercise room was small but functional. Breakfast is served! A very nice breakfast to start your day off nice. Staff was very friendly. Only negative were the walls. Either to thin or just not enough sound proofing.
woke up to neighbor's snoring. possibly put other residents in rooms with vacant rooms between them. breakfast was fantastic and the room was very comfortable. Too bad the noise level was uncomfortable.
We have stayed here several times and it will always be our first choice. Very convenient location, the staff is always friendly and super helpful. The cooked to order eggs in the morning are great! Rooms are clean and well stocked with towels etc. When we needed a rollaway, they were there with it in about 15 mins. Beds are very comfortable, decent gym. Haven't tried it but the pool looks nice and that area is always clean as well. Again, always a good experience and definitely recommend.
This was the second time we have stayed in a BW+ hotel and it was just as wonderful as the first time! Great staff, good rates, very good rooms/beds and breakfast with fresh cooked eggs and much more. We'll definitely be looking for more BW+ hotels on our future road trips!
From the time we arrived we had the undivided attention of the lady checking us in. She had a smile that lit up a room. It only got better! The room was more than we had imagined it would be. You can tell the housekeeping staff take pride in their work.
We were very impressed with the Guymon Best Western! The room was beautiful, the bed and furnishings very comfortable, the staff very professional, friendly and helpful. We even had a staff person make eggs for our breakfast to our preference! I would definitely recommend this facility!
Staff was nice and bed was clean. Breakfast pretty good. Fitness center AWESOME..avoid the indoor pool, it is not heated and was miserable. Hot tub has no water jets, only air jets, so it.is pretty disappointing as well.
I have stayed at this facility several times and have never had any complaints. The only thing I would like to have improved is the bathroom lighting because it is not quite bright enough for applying cosmetics, but that is not a deal-breaker for me.
A modern hotel, nice room, and very friendly staff at this Best Western in Guymon. The king sized bed was very comfortable as were the pillows. No issues at all with the facilities in our 3rd floor room. The free breakfast was very good since the staff made eggs upon request - scrambled, over easy, sunny side up, whatever. And the coffee was very good. My only complaint was the cost for our toy poodle - $20, since we stayed at other hotels during our trip where dogs were free or just $10.
We stay here every chance we need to, whenever family isn't available to accommodate us. Staff is very friendly & knowledgeable, rooms are very clean & comfortable. Hotel is smoke-free, but if you are allergic to pets, request a pet-free room! Rewards members receive free bottle of water & pkg of cookies upon arrival and there is fresh water & fresh cookies available in the lobby 24/7. Breakfast ends early, but is HOT and good, lots of choices, and eggs are made to order if you ask. NOTE!!! Guymon has just voted to raise their hotel tax by another 5%, so I highly recommend that you check hotels in Liberal, KS, Woodward, OK or Dumas, TX, Dalhart, TX whichever route you're taking BEFORE booking anywhere in Guymon & decide if the rates WITH tax are worth the difference in miles.
This is our second stay at this particular Best Western. The entire staff from check in, breakfast staff, and maid service were extremely pleasant and efficient. Parking is easy. Hotel was extremely clean inside and out.
A bit high priced, but the room was clean, the bed comfortable. No complaints. Small pool and nice hot tub. Very large flat screen tv in the room was nice with lots of channels. Not much of a town that is in the middle of nowhere.
We stayed on our way from Nebraska to Albuquerque. The town is growing, and they are building more hotels, so there will be a lot of competition. The Best Western tried hard to please, but we felt the reviews built it up more than what we got. We were given a room on the first floor, and we could tell the carpet had a lot of use. Breakfast was good, but limited choice on the homemade omelet. We paid a lot for a good average stay. Next time we will probably go back to the Quality Inn next door. We personally get a better rate there, and the clerk was friendlier, though the breakfast doesn't have as many choices. Overall stay was fine, but will probably try a hotel in the town with a better rate next time, since we just pass through on a quick trip.
Overall, we had a pleasant stay. Our room was next to room with jetted tub. Our sleep was interrupted by another traveler using the jetted tub at 2:30 a.m. Better sound-proofing needed. Breakfast was slightly disappointing. At 7 a.m., cooked food was lukewarm and not that tasty. Had to settle on eating their store-bought yogurt and muffin from breakfast selections. Room was clean, comfortable and relatively spacious. (Stayed in a king suite.). Saved $11 per night by booking on-line through Triip Advisor.
Motel looks all clean and nice, but then, as soon as I hit the sheets, scratching started. First just the hand, and it looked innocuous, nothing much. Then I thought how sheet is a bit rough, probably because of flanel feel. Well, in the morning, I could see the velts. Now, a day later, half a dozen around the waist, three on fingers, two under a knee. All swollen. Best Western sure offers extra in return for double the rate of average motel in the area. I did check the sheets for the bed bugs, and did not see any. I did not check the headboards. Forgot about that. Could have also been leftover pets of somebody's pets (hotel is pets and pets' pets friendly), that is, fleas (apparently, they leave a line of bites). Anyway, see the pictures, and see what you want. Sure not room 318. By the way, if you do want a room less exposed to overnight train horns, take room not facing the main road. One thing, which, with benefit of hindsight, sure indicated that it was not the first time they heard it, was the reply of reception person when I notified her quietly in the morning that I got bites, but do not know from what, and that these were definitely not mosquitoes. She immediately replied with "Maybe you have got allergy"??!!! Such line to come out without even seeing anything, and despite just being told those were bites, points, velts around bites. And yes,I do not have excessive reaction to mosquito bites, jellyfish or similar Be a judge. Something is not right in this very shiny place, for sure. Now, after a day of washing (and drying at high heat) and spraying of myself, all my luggage and my car, I can just wait and see what happens.
Nice place to stay. Good location hot tub and pool exelent. Cooked to order eggs very nice, need more dad's to make them better. Cheese green chilies mushrooms. Staff was helpful and courteous. Best in town, need to be a little cheaper for that location.
So pleased with this hotel. The room was clean and well kept. The staff was super professional and nice. The fitness room was immaculate with well-maintained equipment and a dry sauna AND an indoor pool with hot tub. Will definitely stay here again.
The people are nice, and the hotel is clean and well-maintained. The breakfast is horrible. The bacon is the thinnest I have every seen and tasted like greased toilet paper. If you figure that decent if not a good breakfast is part of the price of the room, this hotel doesn't make the grade.
My charges were doubled booked on my credit card, had to call credit card company as promised call to resolve from hotel never happened, upon check in they stated could not print receipt due to computer issue but will email, it also has never arrived a bit scary to say the least, really took away from what would have been a good experience overall
we use this Best Western at Guymon ,Oklahoma on most trips to mid-west. easy in and out with our trailer. Always good to see the B W sign ! ,Fuel, food and sleep that is what we like about Guymon,OKlahoma.
I like this little hotel. It has an indoor pool and a small fitness center which helps after a long drive. It also has real eggs, cooked anyway you like them. There are still some food weaknesses, such as the yogurt has sugar or corn-syrup added, the waffle syrup is corn syrup instead of 100% maple. But most people don't notice it. It's a nice stay in the plains.
Staff at Guymon Best Western were terrific. Check-in and out a breeze. Pet friendly - wonderful. Someone made eggs fresh every morning! Where do you get that these days? Room was clean and spacious. We'll be back.
I didn't expect this fine Best Western Plus in such an out of the way place as Rte 54 in Guymon,Oklahoma. The manager was very helpful and efficient. The entire staff reflected her competence and graciousness. Next time I plan to stay a few days to learn more about the history and people of that very unique expanse of grasslands.
Super place to spend the night or nights! Front desk very helpful and good breakfast(eggs cooked to order with a big smile!) very nice suite rooms, comfy beds and good restaurant right next door. Very clean and excellent decor. Very much like staying in an expensive hotel, but very reasonable. Thank you!
Pleasantly surprised with cleanliness and layout of room. Even though we arrived very late due to weather delay, staff was very friendly and helpful. Will definetely stay again on our way cross country.
The experience through making the reservation and the stay itself was extremely pleasurable. Very friendly and professional staff which makes being away from home that much easier. I would highly recommend anyone to stay at this facility as it has all you need and more.
I called the hotel directly to book the room last minute. The lady who I spoke to was very friendly and helpful. The staff at check in was also very friendly. Our room was extremely clean and comfy. It was great to have a hot breakfast in the morning. Having someone cook fresh eggs to order was amazing!
Nice place to stay Excellent service friendly service great breakfast If you're ever in Guymon are just driving through stop by best western and stay the night trust me you will love it The lady in the breakfast area she will cook your eggs anyway you like
Clean, friendly, quiet. Everything we hope for when looking for a hotel when we are traveling. Well done! I don't recall his name but the gentleman at check-in was very warm and accommodating! Wish we found ourselves in Guymon more often to be able to stay here more regularly!
Very nice, clean and pleasant hotel in Guymon. Rooms were oversized and comfortable. Felt very safe. Nice little pub within walking distance with oversized pours on wine, but interesting enough does not consider Shiner a local beer.
I've stayed a this property on several occasions, it's clean and comfortable. Location is relatively easy to find. The staff is always helpful and friendly. What really sets this property apart is their breakfast. They off eggs to order.
One of the best Best Westerns!! The Hotel was very clean and well managed. Pool and spa were nice and clean. Great value and friendly staff. Good location. Will absolutely stay here again if in the area!
AC too damn loud and the AC too close to the bed AC runs 50 percent of the time when its hot so the noise is bad for sleeping AC too damn loud and AC too close to the bed; can't sleep when it running at Mach 1
Very conveniently located to where we needed to be at OPSU. The hotel is nice looking on the outside and the rooms were very nice and clean. The staff was super friendly and very efficient. We've stayed 3 times here and all were the same - very pleasant. The rooms are fairly well updated, the only "complaint" is that the pillows are not very comfortable but the beds are. Breakfast is very good - cooked to order eggs were wonderful. Definitely recommend this property.
We have stayed in a best Western plus in the past. This hotel did not seem up to that standard. So, we were rather disappointed. The facility was clean, the staff was friendly and the breakfast had an interesting twist to it. The woman who managed the breakfast bar cooked eggs to order. The bathroom had a very strange arrangement. The toilet was the first thing you virtually ran into when you walked into the bathroom.
Stopped here on the way home from a trip out West. The hotel was clean and comfortable and felt safe. The staff was friendly and helpful. (Even let a little girl swim for a few minutes after hours since she was still on mountain time.) Breakfast was good and had plenty of choices.
Very nice for the price and area. The mattress was perfect and the room was clean and quiet. Lots of channels, including premiums on the tv. I think all of the rooms may be suite-like with an actual seating/conversation area. Breakfast was good with waffles, bacon, sausage, potatoes and eggs cooked to order plus all the normal cereals, muffins, fruit, etc.
Traveling through Oklahoma headed to Kansas. Made a great night for rest. Front desk was amazing and helpful and breakfast was amazing in the morning. The room was very clean and wifi was easy to access for my kiddos. Will stay there again.
Stayed at the BW+ in Guymon, OK on our way to Quad-Cities in IL. I always choose BW hotels when I travel because there are no surprises when you arrive. They are always clean, convenient and usually centrally located to restaurants and shops. We enjoyed our stay at BW, Guyman and would recommend this hotel to everyone.
As an employee of best western, it's always so great to be able to go a different best westerns and receive amazing customer service. Erick was so great with adjusting our rooms and being so awesome with helping out everyone from the family get a room regardless of the time they arrived. Highly recommend for anyone passing through and needing a place to stay!
This is a very nice, clean Best Western Hotel with rooms at a great price. It has very nice rooms and an excellent breakfast. It is also within walking distance to other restaurants. The front staff were very friendly and helpful. Overall a a bargain value.
We like BW hotels because they are nicer than many others that accept pets. The breakfast in Guymon was excellent. Fresh cooked eggs at your request. Very quiet place to sleep and nice area to walk our dog.
We got stuck in Guymon , due to road closures .We were able to get a room here and it worked out nice for us for the one night. The hotel was fine , check in was easy. About 75% of the town was out of power so finding a place to eat was very limited .. We left early to get on the road , breakfast was ready and they will make your eggs to order. The rest was the standard breakfast food you see yogurt, toast ,cereal fruit etc...
I was extremely impressed with the lobby décor and cleanliness. The staff was wonderful and polite the whole weekend. Pool was out of order the whole weekend which bummed the kids. Breakfast had a good variety of fruit, waffles, fruit toppings, oatmeal & toppings, and made to order eggs to eat with hash browns and sausage. Pub 54 food was great with also a great staff and WONDERFUL Happy Hour specials!
A little noisy from upstairs. Breakfast isn't the best, biscuits are cold sausage patties are 20yrs old and cold. But the rooms are great and the staff very pleasant. The lady that makes your eggs to order does a awesome job.
I highly recommend this hotel. Comfortable king size beds, friendly staff, decent bathroom lighting, and hot breakfast. We will continue to stay at this hotel when we travel to the Midwest to see family.
Quality of the entire building is remarkable. Even the workmanship of the stair wells. They cut no corners. I was told there are improvements constantly being made. I thought the place was brand new. I would definitely watch to stay at more Best Western locations if they are like this.
Great staff. Wonderful made to order breakfast items. Caring & attentive staff. Spring break trip stopover coming home from the mountains. Needed a break and was delighted by every aspect of this experience. Staff even recommended wonderful place to eat on the evening of our arrival.
Stayed here last night, and was thoroughly impressed. With best western you can star in one that's so-so, and another that's terrific. This was one of the nicest I've been to in a long time. Very clean, spacious rooms, great breakfast. I was very surprised to see such a nice hotel in this area, and was pleasantly surprised. Definitely would stay here again. Service was great also.
We were given room 106 an ADA room when hotel was almost full. While a comfortable room with sofa and huge Bath, I do not think it is ADA compliment as to placement of furnishings. There is not 32 inches of clearance passing the mini-frig and too large desk in the narrow space entering living area. If you are given this room, you will probably have to have staff rearrange and remove frig. This was reported to staff at desk on early am on 11/19.
The hotel has a nice feel. The front desk clerk was very nice. They have a snack pack for elite members. The exercise facility had a sauna but was not in working order. The treadmill was light weight and the incline function was not working. The hot tub was awesome. The pool looked nice but small. Breakfast was typical with the exception of the fresh cooked eggs. Nice! The biggest challenge was the noise factor. I could hear the TV in the room next to me as well as the people walking above me. The floor squeaked quite a bit in my room as well. I will say that none of this bothered me enough to keep me from going back. I will return. There was no parking for large vehicles or trailers.
Our stay in Guymon was very comfortable. The hotel staff was pleasant, professional and welcoming. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was good. It was a nice touch to have the eggs for your breakfast prepared to your liking.
For a mobility enabled room it was perfect for my needs. I don't use a wheelchair, but for those that do; it would probably fit your needs. The bed was exceptionally comfortable for me. The staff was really helpful when I was trying to get my Kindle on the hotel wifi.
This best western is really a great deal. They have a complete breakfast with made to order egg dishes. It is also located right next to a restaurant which makes eating out easy. It is also walking distance to a Mexican bakery and just blocks from a great Mexican restaurant. The room was large and had numerous extras such as microwave and direct TV.
this has been a stop on my trips for a few years, hope to stay here in the future . the new BW sign hard to spot , like old things. wish the summer program worked like it was explained ,made reservation the way i was asked.800#
This was a nice Best Western. The room and the lobby were very clean, the staff was friendly, the breakfast was good, it was quiet from outside noise. The only two complaints I had were that: A. I had no cell phone reception inside the room or in the lobby, I had to go outside, which certainly isn't the hotel's fault, but it is strange; and B. The noise from floor to floor was a little more than I am used to in hotels (I could hear the person upstairs walking around and flushing the toilet and watching tv - not words, just muffled noise. It was not a big deal for me at all, but might be for some people. I really appreciated that they are pet friendly and that the hotel is "traditional-style," meaning you have to walk through the lobby to get to any of the rooms, rather than rooms that open directly to the outside. I would definitely stay here again, if traveling through the area. There is also a good restaurant right next door.
On a recent geocaching road trip we stayed here. Very nice room, and comfortable bed, staff was accompanying and pleasant. The morning breakfast was sufficient for ou needs. Always appreciate fresh fruit. Check out was quick and easy.
I stayed at this hotel for onre night while traveling through Guymon. I found the hotel to be completely adequate with a big room, workspace, decent bathroom, and overall very clean. Staff I interacted with were all very professional and nice. Breakfast was great. Overall I would certainly stay here again and recommend it to anyone going to Guymon.
The room was clean and comfortable. We really enjoyed the breakfast, which included custom cooked eggs. All of the staff was very professional. We felt like this was a good value for the money. We would recommend Best Western to our friends.
This BW PLUS hotel was very good from the moment we arrived. We were greeted at the counter and they had a room on the top floor as we had requested. The room was large and very clean. The WIFI was fast. The breakfast was hot and good.
We stayed here in the way to Colorado & it was the right choice for us.. Good bed, large room with desk, sitting area, microwave & fridge!! Needed extra pillows and had no trouble getting them! Breakfast was better than most hotel breakfast, in this price range. Eggs cooked to order, biscuits & gravy very good!!
Stayed one night and were very satisfied. Rooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast area was clean and well organized. Complimentary breakfast also had a lady cooking eggs to your preference, rather than just scrambled in a chafing dish; a nice touch. Overall, we were very pleased with our stay here.
Probably my only complaint was that the gym was hot and the treadmill noise. The room was great, the beds extremely comfortable and the breakfast was one of the best I've eaten in a hotel. My father and I ended up sleeping in because it was so comfortable. They have someone prepare eggs to order which is definitely unusual for a hotel. Highly recommend.
I don't know what to tell you when every thing was to our satisfaction the people there were very conciderit and espescially the breckfast when they cooked our eggs to order the only best western hotel that has ever offered that maybe that's something to pass on to other best western hotels.
This is a very nice hotel. The staff is really friendly an professional. Reasonable priced rooms. Very clean a very nice place to stay after driving all day. We were going to stay at Holiday Inn, but this was easier to find. Very glad that we did. We will be staying here again if we are in the area.
We were traveling through and needed a place for the night. We have had mixed luck with BW in the past, but decided to give this a try. It was clean, beds were comfortable. The staff was very helpful. The breakfast was a bit better than average, including eggs to order.
Location is good, very clean, great and helpful staff. I was able to work out before I went to work that day. Free wifi and great free breakfast. Room was very clean, sheet were crisp and smelled good. My room was by the by the work out room, pool and ice machine, I never heard anything outside my room.
Property seemed to have been newly renovated. Hotel staff was helpful and friendly as we were just passing through and needed directions. Hotel is located right next time some restaurants. Breakfast was standard affair that did offer are to order eggs. WiFi was a little sketchy, connections kept dropping off. Rooms seemed a little noisy as we could hear other guests however it could have just been a noisy night.
Needed an a place to rest during our roadtrip. We were so pleasantly surprised at this hotel. It had a great lobby and the hotel itself appeared to be new or remodeled. The room was a mini suite and was very clean. Nice showers and great beds. We would definitely stay again! The free breakfast was a nice added bonus!
we have used this stop several times in past trips,we like to stay at this location. additional parking for those with trailers would be helpful . we managed OK this time, and were told plans were in the works. wished all our stops looked out for there customers .
The hotel was a very convenient area for a great night stay. We would recommend this hotel to anyone. We had a nice night and very quiet and peaceful. I have nothing but good things to say about the hotel and staff.
Nicely updated with all the things one would want when traveling. Property signs were being changed to reflect the new BW "badging" while we were there. Breakfast good and plenty - with eggs-made-to-order on certain days. Desk staff that checked us in was quick and efficient and friendly. Restaurant on site for lunch/dinner.
We had a good stay at the Best Western in Guymon. The location was convenient to the highway but not noisy where we were. The suite style rooms were perfectly adequate and had everything that we needed. The hotel staff was courteous and helpful. The property and rooms were clean. Breakfast included made-to-order eggs which is a nice bonus. The other breakfast fare was fresh and good for a free continental style breakfast. Recommended ++
As a Diamond Member, I've stayed at Best Western properties around the world. This Best Western ranks among the best of the properties located in larger cities in both the U.S. and throughout the world. I highly recommend this property.
Elena checked us in and was as happy as can be despite the late hour. We asked for a rollaway and we're giving one promptly. For a blink and you'll miss it town this is a solid place to stop. Beds were comfy, room didn't smell, breakfast was good. Coffee was great. It wasn't sludge.
Stopped on long trip to Midwest. Comfortable, spacious, clean, and good value for price of $95. Took advice of another TA recommendation and got an even numbered room. 208 was in center of hall facing the back. Breakfast better than average and nice to have eggs cooked to order rather than the usual hard scrambled eggs. Bathroom kind of a tight squeeze for two at the vanity with where the commode is placed but we made it work. Tile was discolored around area where it joins tub but more of a cosmetic issue. Had a good night's rest.
Place was a little worn around the seams but okay, until the herd of elephants checked in above us late at night. After 45 minutes of stomping and slamming I called the front desk and told them to quiet the elephants down or move them. It settled down after that. Understand the Holiday Inn Express is quite nice so next trip will be staying there instead.
We were driving from Flagstaff to Minnesota and chose this hotel as a good stopping point along the way. Little did I know when my husband chose this place that getting there meant multiple hours of driving on a two lane highway. To top that off, Oklahoma and Texas were having severe weather conditions. Neither of these things have anything to do with the hotel review except my rattled anxious state may be affecting my thoughts on the hotel. When we finally arrived we were greeted professionally and check-in went well. We had planned on washing a load of clothes when we got there but the laundry room was closed by the time we got there. The room was spacious and had a sitting area. The hotel is a bit older but it isn't bad for a small town. Given the location it is hard to determine whether to evaluate it based on location or hotel itself. I will do location. If the hotel was in a larger area I would have higher expectations. The room was quiet, the bed comfortable. The bathroom has sheets of granite around tub/shower area. The bottom of one sheet near front of tub indicates water damage behind it but that is really a bigger problem for the hotel than guest. For guest it is just a cosmetic issue. The TV is on the small side, as is the pool. The big plus is the free breakfast. They have a cook that will make an omelette or fry an egg or two for you. My stomach was thrilled to have a real egg rather than the fake eggs most of the competitors use. They have free wifi though we had trouble connecting. If I cared, or if I wasn't exhausted I would have gone to the front desk and asked for help. I am sure she would have assisted.
During our 3 day 1400 mile trip to locate various small towns, our group stayed at the Best Western in Guymon. The rooms and service was excellent. Very friendly staff and a wonderful breakfast. "Eggs to order" what a treat.
After driving 300 miles in the Oklahoma rain, we checked in with ease and found a comfortable and quite room on the 3rd floor. This Best Western Plus is in the Panhandle, clean and nice and front desk is friendly. We would stay again.
Surprisingly good place to stay in a small town. Clean, quiet, spacious room with great TV service and large HD TV. Friendly, accommodating staff. An extra touch at breakfast was that they made eggs to order. I'd definitely stay there again.
We love staying at this hotel in Guymon OK. The rooms, the staff, and breakfast are all wonderful. It is clean, beautiful and comfortable and a wonderful value for the price. And it is pet friendly~ YAY!!!!
We have stayed multiple times at the Best Western Plus in Guymon, and it has always been a good experience. One of the best features is that one lady cooks eggs to order in the breakfast area, and she always cooks them to perfection! All of the employees are friendly, everything is clean and welcoming. We will plan to stay here again!
The bed is comfortable. The room is spacious with a couch. The breakfast has made to order eggs. My husband and I have stayed here for personal business three times this year and our room has always been clean and the staff is courteous. We keep coming back to this hotel. The hotel in Hugoton, KS is newer with nice decor but the price and breakfast are not as good as in Guymon.
They service is very good for the money. Clean, and helpful. The location is very good for anywhere in the city. We stayed there for the Five State ride in May an really enjoy the breakfast at the hotel. They have a restaurant on site just out side the hotel. If you want to have a few beers you don't have far to walk.
The remodel was really nice - didn't think the hotel needed it, but when we went back this year it was one of the first things we noticed!!! It was a nice surprise. Will stay again when we go back to Guymon, OK
Nice place to stay in Guymon. My room was clean and large with 2 queen beds, a couch, chair and coffee table. The staff are friendly. Breakfast is typical but fresh eggs cook to order are available. Could use some fresh fruit for breakfast.
As I drove into Guymon, the skies were black and it was pouring rain. The first hotel I passed, a Holiday Inn, had cars lined up to get under the awning. The second hotel: I pulled in, but just didn't quite feel right, so I went on to the third, a Best Western. And lucky me! It was a very nice and comfortable hotel. Good bed. Very clean. Lovely staff. Oh, and the price was great!
We chose this hotel because of the reviews on TripAdvisor. Called 2 hotels in town to check availability and pricing. This one beat the other's price. The staff was professional and courteous. The hotel was very, very nice. The room was large with a seating area. (Sofa & chair) There was a refrigerator and microwave. Beds were very comfortable. The best was the made to order eggs for breakfast. Felt very safe here. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
This is the second time we have stayed here and it is exceptionally nice. Clean and quiet with nice rooms. Not enough outlets for our electronics, especially between the beds. None even by the beds. Other than that a great room.
Really nice experience overall. Friendly staff. Lobby and breakfast area are bright and well decorated. Fresh finishes throughout. Room had high ceilings with three lights. (A really nice change from dimly lit lamp-only rooms.) Hot breakfast includes eggs cooked to order. There were also "mix ins" of walnuts, raisins and chocolate chips for the oatmeal or yogurt. Room had a really comfortable pillow top bed and a nice TV with lots of DirecTV channels; the remote worked well, which isn't always the case in every hotel. The double-pane sealed windows reduced noise. A train went by a couple of times, but any place in town will hear it. (Maybe try the even numbered rooms which face away from silos/track). Mini-fridge has freezer compartment, so we were able to refreeze our freezer packs for cooler. Only two minor disappointments. All the pillows were about the same with lumps of foam and were way to firm for us. Try the pillows before bedtime and ask for one if you want a softer fiber-filled pillow. Internet service (wifi) bogged down between 9 and 10 p.m. and essentially came to a halt. I ended up tethering my PC to my cellphone and using my own data network. (With so many people streaming video content these days, you have to implement rate limits on each connection.)
After a long day on the road, we found this pleasant surprise -- a nicely furnished new motel with reasonable prices. Its right on U.S. 54. We got a first floor room that had great decor. We felt welcomed with a complimentary package of crackers and a bottle of water. There is a nice pool and fitness room. Staff are friendly and they have a great breakfast with made to order items. There is a steak house across the parking lot with great specials.
We are new to Best Western....and were very impressed with the BEST experience. The hotel was very nice and quiet . The BEST was the breakfast with fresh cooked eggs "as you like 'em". ..nice touch!!! The Margarita Steak House next door is also a nice feature (after driving all day) and the food was great as was the WINE!
Great Stay in a clean hotel. Breakfast was a bit more than most other hotels. Eggs to order were great and the selection of sausage and bacon, Hash browns, bagels etc. were great. Front desk staff was very professional and friendly. Definitely would stay there again.
We stayed here for 1 night and were extremely impressed. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. They served made to order eggs for Breakfast and offered various items including waffles, bagels, bacon, sausage and hash browns. Coffee was also very good. Upon arrival we were greeted professionally by the staff. We were very impressed since it is in a small town.
We arrived at the Fuymon, Ok. bw in the evening and our room was ready. The counter desk clerk, niando, was pleasant, efficient and very helpful. We travel with a cat and they put us in a very easy, accessible room near the elevator. She gave us a great rate and snacks to take to our room. Good, cheerful service is difficult to find anymore. This young lady is a credit to herself & good training.
Nice motel for the price, I had a King suite, beds were hard, but the room was clean and satisfactory. Bath room was clean. The morning breakfast was a full breakfast and even had someone cook your eggs to order. Nice surprise, no powdered eggs. Good job!
Accessible, clean, quiet motel with good warm breakfast, intelligent and helpful staff. I was caught in a blizzard and initially the place was full. The staff was helpful when I had to alter my plans. The place is older but solid. The restaurant was about fifty yards away; the food was good and the service great. All in all, it is a good place to be snowed in.
Stayed one night on way to ski vacation in New Mexico. Waited to check in for several minutes while a flyer was being made/printed for someone from an adjacent restaurant. Probably should have made the flyer wait as we were all standing around waiting for some assistance after a day on the road. Got room 110 and the tv had no sound. Maintenace switched the tv and it was fine after that. The biggest problem was the noise. Our room was below what sounded like an earthquake every 3 or 4 minutes. Not sure what's up there but avoid the area if possible. Would have rated higher if not for these problems as the hotel was clean and nice overall.
Guymon is located conveniently at a cross road. Many travelers stop here when passing through. The hotel room was quiet and clean. I could hear trains passing by sometimes. Breakfast was the usual experience, with the added plus of the possibility of eggs to order. A recommended one night stay.
The hotel is clean, and back off of highway, so minimal truck noise. The breakfast they cook your eggs to order. Real Eggs, not powdered! Hostess was very friendly and seemed to genuine and concerned with doing a good job. Would stay here again if in area
Friendly staff - good breakfast - clean rooms. We had driven for 12 hours and the staff got us checked in right away. They are pet friendly which is a plus for our family. The breakfast was excellent with made to order eggs. More than your average breakfast buffet.
Probably the best Best Western I've ever seen. Immaculate rooms, all suites. Granite countertops, ample room and made to order breakfast. And, with no negotiating the front desk staff gave me a significantly lower room price because I was a walk-in after 10pm. Great stay.
Very friendly and courteous staff. Clean hotel. Great breakfast choices including eggs made to order. Would definitely stay again (but would NOT go back to the Chinese restaurant across the street-ICK!)
This is an older hotel but clean and well kept. The beds were comfortable with linen similar to a HIE hotel. Not as quiet as some hotels, we could hear someone snoring in a nearby room and a couple arguing on the floor above. Complementary breakfast was just so so. Handicapped parking is way off to the side. Would be okay to stay here again if traveling through.
In Guymon, OK for just a 1 night's stay for business. This Best Western Plus was perfect for me. Inexpensive - it was only me and I'm not interested in paying lots for just a few hours sleep, clean - place is only a couple of years old and still appears brand new, nice staff, good breakfast, everything. Shares parking lot with newest steakhouse in the area too!
Best hotel in Guymon!!! stayed here on the way to missouri cuz it was a half way poi9nt from phoenix, and it sjust awesome. super clean, super friendly, great breakfast, speedy and efficient internet service. I LOVE best westerns and this was an amazing hotel. no complaints at all :)
Someone had changed the tv out and left the old tv on couch and they did not clean floor when they were done. There was not any coffee creamer on coffee tray.Over all the stay was pleasant and we will probably stay again..
I stayed here one night during the week for business. The staff at the desk was very friendly and helpful. We were given water and a snack upon arrival. That was a welcomed treat after an almost all day drive. The room that I got was a king and it was very large. There was a sitting area with a couch and chair. The hotel is conveniently located on the east side of town on one of the main highways so it is easy to get to.
Stayed here on the last night of a ten day road trip. Found the rooms clean, bed comfortable, attendant very helpful and polite. Even though they were having a truck show in town did not hear a lot of noise of coming and going during the night. Breakfast was very nice, the breakfast attendant was friendly and willing to help with anything. Great place to stay.
After traveling a week with some bad hospitality service, it was nice to happen on this motel, we came in late but got a good rate, comfortable bed, and good breakfast. The lady taking care of breakfast area was fabulous. She fixed eggs to order and kept the area clean and supplied.
