Best Western Plus Hotel Suites-Greenville, Greenville

Very clean and spacious rooms with comfortable beds. Service at the hotel is very good. Staff is friendly and helpful. Breakfast selection is good with something for everyone. An excellent experience and generally priced reasonably. All the hotels in the area get extreme with their prices during peak weekends at the local university which is disappointing for the same room and services.

This is one of the quietest places we have stayed in years. The facility is very clean without an annoying scent. The beds were very comfortable. The air conditioner worked properly and quietly. While breakfast is my least favorite meal, my husband thoroughly enjoyed it. We were pulling our travel trailer in for repairs and were concerned about the parking. There is a service road by which you access the hotel and parking was available there as well in the lot our first night. The only caution I have about hotel's location is the entrance from Greenville Blvd; it is practically hidden. We learned to go through the shopping center to access the service road.

The staff at this hotel were EXTREMELY accommodating. We needed an early check in so my husband and his best man could get ready for our wedding. They made it happen. Our room was clean and fresh. We only stay at Best Western because we know we will always be satisfied. Thank you.

My family had an unexpected trip to Greenville because we had a family member in the local hospital. We stayed a couple nights at a hotel that was close to the hospital, but it really did not meet our needs. We stayed 5 nights at the Best Western +, and it was really a great experience. The staff was extremely helpful & very nice. The hotel was clean, and the breakfast was very satisfying. The location is great & convenient for getting around Greenville.

I visited this hotel on Thursday July 14th and left Sunday July 17th. I was in town for a fabulous Family Reunion and Kristina turned my happy ending into a not so happy ending. I received an arrival email from their corporate office saying we can't wait for your arrival and a quote for my 4 day stay. Once I arrived Cody quoted my price and I thought it was off but I was exhausted so I let it slide. I gave him my AARP card and it was discounted. Now fast forward to Saturday Night. I was going through my emails and I came across my arrival email and I asked Cody to quote my price again. I then showed him my email and there was about a $90.00 discrepancy. He mentioned that the associate Ashley who quoted set my reservations was no longer with the company. He stated that she quoted me the wrong prices. And who's fault is that!!....not mines. Anyway Cody suggested that I speak to the General Manager. He finally admitted afting giving me a million excuses that they had to honor my quoted arrival email. I spoke ti Krisrina around 10am on Monday Morning and explained my situation to her. She was not empathetic at all and never apologized once. They changed my daily prices without my knowledge/permission. Kristina needs retraining in Customer Service focusing on Empathy, Apology, and going Above and Beyond for your customers. Please do not stay at this hotel...they do not stand by their prices!! On top of that there was a knot of hair on my menu which was laying on the guest table. I would like to say that the ladies in the cafeteria were wonderful.

It was fine. Our flight was delayed so I called to make sure I would have the 2 queen suite I had paid in advance for. They assured me I would. I didn't. They had given it away and moved us to a king handicapped suite. Since there was just 2 of us, we made it work. Our key card had to be redone every single night. The staff was very nice and helpful. The breakfast had many options and was good. We were visiting family who didn't have enough room to put us all up so we really didn't spend much time at hotel, just sleeping and breakfast. Rooms were clean and comfortable.

The hotel is close to ECU and easy to find. The rooms are large and the mattresses are comfortable. Their reception area is modern and comfortable. The hotel is set a little off the Highway so it is quiet. For breakfast, I ate cereal and added nuts and dried fruit. They have fresh fruit available too. My daughter ate the scrambled eggs and sausage. In the lobby area, they have an all-day coffee station.

The hotel was fine, the rooms were comfortable. The room was clean, however the cleaning products Possibly had a lot of citrus material and was overwhelming. For people with allergies, asthma or chronic lung disease this can be triggering. I ended up taking a Zyrtec and buying some allergy eyedrops.

Stayed at this hotel several years ago. Decided to stay again. Check in was easy. All staff encountered were courteous. Room was clean and spacious. Breakfast left more to be desired. Served 6-9, we arrived at 8 and everything was picked over, counters unclean, trash overflowing. Pool looked clean and ready for warmer days. Parking lot well lit with ample spaces. Very conveniently located. Would stay here again.

Not worth the amount we paid for. I object to spending that amount for a total disregard to service your customer or providing accommodations that is equal to the expense. Unkempt breakfast area. Broken wall outlet. Terrible.

Room and hallway was clean and smelled sanitary. We used the coffeemaker in the room and it appeared to be brand new. Comfortable bed and pillows too. Microwave and fridge were convenient. Door at end of hall led to a small grassy area for pups.

The staff was fairly acceptable, but the motel was dated. The view out my window was a large construction site. We had people smoking next door to us, and it permeated the hallway. Overall, it was exponentially overpriced for a room in this city. We do not intend to go back.

I tried to use the fitness center tonight and my card didn't work, so I went to front desk and there was no one there, waited for about 20 minutes, rang the bell, called their number and no answer. I'm just glad I didn't have a real emergency

Stay was pleasant. Room was exactly as pictured, very clean. Beds were comfy. Room was large and very accessible for oyr families needs. Bathroom was clean and tidy. Air conditioning and heater worked exceptionally well, no musty or smells like we had at a previous hotel chain tge night before. Hotel staff were extremely helpful and kind. Overall the hotel itself was cozy and exceptionally clean and quiet for being in a college town on Halloween weekend. Very nice stay, highly recommend. We had a double queen suite with sofa bed and it was worth the rate.

The stay was great. I spoke with 3 different Employees during my communications. One by phone the night before my arrival, Matt I believe the mgr. He was great. Very nice. I was not able to arrive until after 1am and I called and spoke with an Ashley I believe to let her know I would be arriving after 1am and she was great and made a note that I was coming in late. When arrive the late night person was real friendly and checked me in quickly.

Great hotel with wonderful customer service. Located in a good location close to many good restaurants. The hotel is amazingly priced depending on what type of room you or your family need. I would recommend this hotel to friends and family.

We were traveling from daytona to greenville and we had to change our reservation due to the storms. We called on the 5th and the lady assured us that she had changed our reservation to the 7th. We get there on the 7th around 1055pm. We tried to check in too be told we didn't have a reservation. We told her it was changed to the 7th. She then very rudely told us that wasn't her problem and they were full. We asked her name and she refused to tell us. She didn't have a name tag on. We asked for a manager and she refused. I guess she got tired of us sitting there trying to figure out what our next step was, she called the manager and they told her to give us a room. So the front desk clerk called the house keeper at home to come in and make up the room.. i was like you got to b kidding me. So now the shift was changing. I went outside, to sit in mThe car. The housekeeper and front desk lady come out talking about us and how she wants to fight someone. And the housekeeper was complaining about being called in (i understand that) But if you are going to complain at least go away from the front of the building. Now.. when we got in our room it was after 1am. And this morning. Checking out, the front desk guy was not wearing a name tag. I don't understand why no one is wearing name tags. I know if an auditor would come in unannounced, they would be not be in compliance.

I had a good stay at the hotel. Nice lobby and good sized room. There are a few places to eat close I walked to a few of them. Close to the college. Seemed to be plenty of parking .Really liked my stay and will come back again.

We loved everything about our stay except the bed was uncomfortable. The hotel is extremely clean and smells wonderful. The breakfast has many options. The staff are very friendly and helpful. The location is great and in a safe area.

Really enjoyed my stay at the Best Western it's my second time at this hotel and it did not disappoint. Clean rooms, comfy beds, friendly staff and hot breakfast. Definitely my go to when I return to the area. It's also pet friendly which is a plus.

We were here for a baseball tournament. Just two nights but we enjoyed the little amount of time we had. Staff was friendly at check-in and at breakfast. I needed more shampoo for our room and they gladly grabbed me some extra. We didn't get a chance to use any amenities except for breakfast but the breakfast was enjoyable. Rooms are very large, clean and spacious which was great for all of our gear. Thanks again!

Despite the website saying that hotel staff and guests were required to wear masks and that the breakfast would take into account Covid precautions (ie social distancing, etc) none of these precaution were in place. There were signs outside the hotel reading that masks should be worn by guests and staff yet NO ONE was wearing masks and no social distance precautions were taking place. Additionally, the hotel adjusted the air conditioner so that it would not blow at full strength and the room would only get a cold as about 73 degrees even at night. The only was to remedy this was if you were handy with tools and happened to have pliers and could adjust the dials despite the hotel having removed the knobs. Also, the hotel has 2 floors with an ice machine in both but the 2nd floor machine was broken and staff did not seem concerned with it ever being fixed. While the room was mostly clean, there was a black soot on the sofa and the bottom of the tub was somewhat dirty.

The location of the hotel was within walking distance to eating places and the Hotel was beautifully managed and check in was on point and check out was a breeze I would definitely come to this hotel whenever I am in the area

This was essentially what you would expect from a Best Western. The room was clean and spacious. The front desk personnel when we checked in were very friendly (and overly apologetic that the ice machines were not working). There was no bedding in the room for the sofa bed so we had to request that, and go down to the desk to get it, but it was readily provided. There was an actual breakfast available in the breakfast room--the first time I have found that since before COVID. The breakfast room is very small, though--not really large enough for a breakfast rush. They also had all plastic utensils individually wrapped in plastic, which seemed odd and very time consuming. After all, that means that every utensil had been handled. Why not just provide the pre-packaged utensils?

This hotel was a standard hotel with a few of the “extras” not offered. We had a Jetted a tub room which was very nice, and the water was HOT. The sheets were older and “pilled” up so they were not as comfortable as they could have been. Otherwise, it was an average hotel and accommodations.

It is always wonderful to find that one place that feels like a home away from home. Best Western Greenville has given us a place just like that. A place to rest our heads and get a great nights' sleep. We have stayed here off and on for almost 17 years and they have kept up their quality tenfold.

Hotel staff were friendly, rooms were very clean, & beds very comfortable! Sofa bed was broken, check in person seemed not too happy to be there. She didn't even tell me where I could walk my dog. However, the maids were very nice. Will stay again

I enjoyed my stay. It felt safe even during covid. The room was very clean and the staff was very helpful. I highly recommend this location. The bed was very comfortable as well. I still Lysol'd the room down to be on the safe side but things were great with the stay.

Overall the hotel was descent for the price. My only negative was that we were in a pet friendly room and there was fur everywhere. I have a small non shedding fur baby and I was concerned about the cleanliness of the floor. Other than that, the room was ok and they offer a bagged breakfast

I had recently stayed at this BestWestern, the staff is very friendly and quick. The rooms are very nice and clean, and it's very quiet and pleasing unlike other hotels in the area. I would definitely be staying here again!

Walk into the hotel, front desk person not wearing a mask ( same this am) and was not helpful. He said rooms are filled everyday ( he said they were busy, but that clearly is not the case). so we could not have a room that was not occupied the night before. Floors are slippery and if I was by myself, I would not have been able to get out of the tub. NO hand rails and no "lip" on one side of the tub. The swimming pool was green. They clearly don't understand the needs of 70 yrs up clients. I won't return.

We've stayed here a few times with nothing but excellent reviews. This time however, the morning we were checking out, we informed them we found bed bugs and showed them too. The reaction was... silence .... exactly! You would think they would be mortified and offer at the very least their sincere apologies. Nothing. No comps no long apologies. Even when I expressed my concern about the likelihood of us bringing these nasty bugs back to our home. I thought this was highly ignorant of them to belittle what I thought was a major big deal. And it is a very big deal. Despite being careful we now found these bugs in our home and will have to spend $$$$ to get them out. I am horrified.

We stayed at the Greenville BW Plus during a visit to ECU. The hotel is about 2 miles from the campus and is near drugstores, restaurants and other convenient locations for travelers. The hotel staff was very friendly. The rooms are modern, clean, and very spacious. As a family of 4, hotel rooms can get crowded, but we all fit nicely. The beds were especially comfortable, with fluffy pillows and clean linens. The free breakfast was presented well and was very good. Bravo Best Western!

Room was spacious and clean. Unfortunately, it was located right above the from door to the hotel, so noise was a bit of an issue. HVAC worked well. Did not stay for included breakfast, but spread looked "hotel familiar". Mary at check-in was very kind and very helpful. Kudos to her.

We had a great stay with the exception of the housekeeping staff. They were extremely loud slamming doors and yelling down the hall to each other, banging the vacuum walls and guest doors. Starting at 8:30am all the way until we checked out at 11:00.

Great stay. The room was what I expected. It was quiet and I was able to relax and to work. The location is near my job, restaurants, shopping, and attractions. I am always satisfied with my stay and try to choose this location when I need to stay overnight.

Although the exterior is not great, the inside looks & smells new!! The room was very clean & we slept well. Breakfast was busy, but the lady there kept it all refilled with a smile. The lady at the front desk was very helpful & friendly!!

Not a Pet friendly hotel as they say they are. I have never stayed at Pet friendly hotel that would not let you leave your pet in the room while we went out to dinner... I will not stay at another Best Western again...

Overall the hotel was clean and service was very friendly. It was a bit pricey, but that may have been due to the holiday timing. Very close to shopping areas and close to the highway. Great choice of stay.

The Best Western Plus is located on the highway as you leave Greenville to the north. It is somewhat isolated as nothing is within walking distance. That said, the hotel is quite nice, spacious rooms, functioning amenities, and cordial service. This property compares to a Comfort Suites or a suite at any property such as a Fairfield or a Holiday Inn Express. There are lots of lodging options in crowded Greenville and if you have a car and don't mind driving everywhere, certainly compare the BW Plus with other favorite options for the best price.

We started using BW in Greenville, NC when we moved our daughter into ECU in August. Staff members are always friendly. Rooms very clean. they are a pet friendly hotel which is awesome as our daughter wants to be able to see her dog when we visit

What great customer service! At check in we inquired about a restaurant and the front desk staff called and actually made a reservation for us per our request! Very friendly staff!! Lobby always had hot, fresh coffee!!

I was pleasantly surprised with the cleanliness, security, and quality of my stay at Best Western. Traveling alone, these were all important to me!. My guest room was comfortable and spacious and most of all was clean! I would rate a 5 if it were not for my disappointment in the price increases of the rooms during ECU's college weekend. For me, that was an issue and limited my experience. This isn't singling out Best Western, it is common practice apparently based on supply and demand. I would definitely stay here again based on my own experience this time and expectations! The location was great for me visiting my daughter with resources available all around for any of my needs!

Clean hotel, spacious rooms, nicely decorated. The cleaning ladies are mean, the front desk staff is not friendly and they harass you when it's close to checking out. Had to tell staff that I would prefer to pour and make my own waffle. Watch while other guest made the same request.

Room and bathroom were nice, modern, and clean and the bed was comfortable.Check-in and check-out were very quick. Lastly, breakfast was what you'd expect for an included breakfast. I did not use the pool or work-out room, but they looked nice.

Everything was great except the pool. The pool was SO dirty!!! When I let the person in the front know she did not seem very bothered by it. I explained that the only reason we picked this hotel was for the location and the pool. We didn't even get an apology. I could of stated at another location with great reviews without a pool for less money.

The exterior of the Hotel does not depict a true image of the interior. The room was very clean and comfortable with a lot of room. We had the 2 queen suite with a sleeper sofa with 3 adults and a dog and it was plenty of room. I suggest asking to stay in the rear of the building if you have a pet as it is perfect access to the doggie bags and side of the building you can take your pet to use the bathroom. Front desk gentlemen was very helpful and kind we even left a bag with a laptop that they called and advised us of and allow for us to arrange for it to be picked up.

This an attractive, well-maintained facility. There was coffee available in the lobby at all hours. The room was clean and quiet. The check-in and check-out was friendly, quick, and efficient. The breakfast was delicious and had a nice variety of choices. Very convenient to the ECU campus.

I chose this hotel due to good rating and pet friendly policy. Hotel was great, clean, had free breakfast and a pool. It covered all the things we were looking for and very close to ECU. Had a great stay and will be back.

This hotel is conveniently located on the outskirts of Greenville. We enjoyed our two night stay. The room was clean and beds were very comfortable. Only thing needed were a few mire towels and wash cloths but the front desk was able to help with that. The staff were very friendly and so polite. The hotel was clean in the lobby, the breakfast area was well done, the pool was very refreshing. We will stay here again.

Stayed on a weeknight. What I liked: 1. Courteous, friendly staff. I interacted with three. All were wonderful. 2. Pleasant, inviting lobby. 3. Complimentary snacks in the late afternoon. 4. Immaculate, spacious room. 5. Quiet. 6. Plenty of free parking. 7. Hotel is located at edge of shopping/restaurant district. Close to everything but also near freeway. 8. Super fast WiFi. What I didn't like: 1. I occupied an upper floor and would have felt safe opening a window at night for a little fresh air. But the window was locked into the closed position. 2. Would have been nice to disable the bathroom fan to enjoy a quiet, peaceful tub soak at the end of a long travel day. Would I return? Yes. Except for the lack of Starbucks in the lobby, my stay here rivaled my many stays at Marriott, but the price at BW was much better.

Good budget option. It's a newer hotel, nice lobby. Comfortable room. Close enough to restaurants driving. Friendly breakfast staff, decent options for a continental bkfast. For the class this hotelis a great choice. Would say here again.

This hotel is very nice. The room was clean and the front desk service was excellent. Breakfast was ok. We visit the area often because our children go to school at ECU. We would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is isolated and not located in an area with other hotels. We stay in Greenville several times a year and tried this hotel because of reviews. Hotel is okay but would not be our first choice. Rooms are note really suites, just large rooms. Our room was at the very end of the hallway, all the way at the back. We heard the back door slamming all night long, every time someone came in or out. Room was mostly clean except for the heavily stained sofa which was so bad we did not want to sit on it without a cover.

The rooms were clean and the service was great. The front desk clerk was very attentive and the complimentary breakfast was hot and fresh and they made sure the breakfast bar Stay full at all times even though the hotel was sold out that weekend

I don't always take time to write reviews, but I wanted to about this hotel in particular. I stay in Greenville about 4 times a year for travel volleyball and this is the first time we stayed with Best Western because it's about 8 minutes farther from our venue. WELL WORTH IT! The accommodations were clean, spacious and updated. Very impressed. The checkout was so organized and smooth. Very impressed. The free breakfast was amazing. High quality, clean, many options. The best eggs and the best waffle toppings I have ever seen at a hotel breakfast. Thank you for making our stay so comfortable!

Rooms are large, comfortable, clean and have all the amenities you need. Staff are friendly and helpful and an adequate breakfast is available - also a gym and pool! Near the airport but no noise from aircraft

Stayed here for two nights with my family and it was great being close enough to the airport, while also far enough away to not get any noise from the few planes flying in and out. Clean rooms and friendly staff made it an easy stay for us!

I stayed here 4 nights on business. It's in a good location and close to restaurants and shopping. The staff was friendly and the room was clean. Breakfast was basic and the only gripe would be getting out of the hotel. Traffic in front of and to the side of the hotel is insane during peak times, morning commute, lunch and evening commute. Otherwise a nice stay.

My husband and I stayed overnight to get finish our Christmas shopping. The room was very nice. The staff was kind and helpful. The decor was up to date. I felt the breakfast could have had more choices. Other than that a very enjoyable stay.

Was surprised to find this hotel was as good a value as some of the more expensive facilities. Room was clean had new furniture and well laid out. Morning breakfast was very good and well attended by the hostess.

Best Western's taken a beating over the years in terms of brand credibility. Especially vs. the Marriott's and Hilton's of the world. Even Holiday Inn has more brand credibility. So when our team's manager booked us here during a soccer trip, I was expecting meh. It was far from meh. The rooms are spacious and quiet, the facility clean and stocked, and the management and staff were amazing. Don't be afraid to book here because of the name. This particular property will surprise you.

Everything about this place was great . No problems at all with anything. Everything was exceptionally clean. The staff was very courteous and helpful for our entire stay. We always travel with our dog and had no problems whatsoever with this. Would definitely recommend and will continue to use.

We thoroughly enjoyed our night here. Beds were very comfortable and room was very spacious. Staff was also very friendly. If I had to list anything negative it would be that the breakfast area was a little crowded. However it would not discourage me from staying here again.

This was our second stay at the Best Western in Greenville. It's very wheelchair friendly and has great customer service! We stayed in a roll in shower room that worked out great. I was also able to roll under the sink and reach the faucet in the bathroom. I could even see myself in the mirror. I would definitely recommend this hotel to individuals with disabilities.

loved this place the rooms are amazing especially the room with the jetted tub RM 242. The only drawback are the noisy college kids and the walls are fairly thin. I wod think with a high scale hotel there would be less of the nonsense allowed that should be saved for the holiday inn on a Fri. and Sat. I pAid $290.00 for one night which should have been very relaxing.

This is a nice hotel, and I have stayed there quite a few times. This time we came as a family. All was well, except the mattress that was in the pull out sofa. It was kind of twin bed mattress and we hardly could open the sofa. Once we opened it, the mattress was very lumpy and the frame was all out of kilter. My daughter, being a small person, made do, as she was able to sleep curled op on the upper part. This really should be rectified. Other than that, the hotel was great.

The hotel was clean and the location was convenient to visiting friends at ECU. The staff members were helpful and friendly. Free parking and wifi. There was a relatively large fridge and microwave in the room. The toiletries (shampoo, conditioner) in the bathrooms were too small, just enough for one person.

The hotel is GREAT!! The rooms are CLEAN and the staff is phenomenal!! The atmosphere all around is awesome! Its a small hotel, but thats what we like..Its just great!! Its convenient to ECU where our child is so this works for us!!

Fabulous hotel. Staff was professional & friendly. Rooms were clean and quiet. Value was terrific. Was a last minute decision to stop and see family overnight. Suite was more than enough for our family of 4. Will certainly return when visiting them.

My youngest daughter and I came down from New York to visit my oldest daughter. Wanted that 'Hotel' experience and Best Western did not disappoint! Stayed four days, three nights and it was worth every penny!

Had to do a quick reservation for my brother's funeral. Traveling with family dog.i love staying here because they have great acceptance for my dog, Jazzy. Jazzy loves it here because there is plenty of room for him to exercise. My wife and I love it because it is very convenient and close to my relatives that live close by.

Stayed here with our family of 5 for a tour of ECU. Room was good, with 2 beds & a sofa bed. Free breakfast was fine, along with afternoon snacks that were served—popcorn, pretzels, lemonade. Outdoor pool & fitness room were nice perks. Cons: our bathroom floor flooded from the upstairs showers; no linens provided for sofa bed so had to call to request them.

After a long day of traveling 3am to 2pm ( I had a flight cancellation on American American Airlines), I arrived at Greenville Airport mentally and physically exhausted, expecting the shuttle to be waiting and discovered it was not. Upon contacting the hotel and after speaking to Kristy the Manager, she heard the anxiety in my voice and within 10 minutes was at the airport to personally pick me up and bring me to the hotel. Upon her arriving I was immediately greeted and checked in at the front by the wonderful and smiling Sharde while Kristy, again, personally went to check if my room was completely ready. Within 5 minutes she gave me the approval that my room was indeed ready and all of my request, (away from the elevator, extra pillows, and extra towels) were all fulfilled. As I was only staying for one night and not familiar with the area I needed to order food and Sharde recommended I order from Bamboo Garden since they delivered and as she stated "very good". As a native New Yorker and access to some of the best Chinese restaurants I was a little skeptical, however I am pleased to say the food was EXTREMELY good! Also I was in need of an adult beverage and pleased to discover the"ABC Wine & Spirits" store was only 10 minutes walking distance from the hotel as well as a nearby strip mall and CVS. Overall, my room far surpassed my expectations; everything has a modern designe, spacious (I had a king size bed) and extremely clean. At the beginning of the evening the hotel had a some snacks in the lobby for guest and I sat poolside that evening listening to music and enjoying the night air. (The pool closes at 10pm) The next morning I almost missed breakfast 10am cut off, however the breakfast care taker assisted me in making a really delicious waffle ( my skills are not that great :) ) and I was able to have breakfast poolside and then take a wonderful swim before checking out. As I think back about my stay it was really enjoyable and I'm definitely going to be staying there in my future visits. Please tell Kristy and Sharde, Keely says hello and thank you for the lovely service...they definitely know how to provide outstanding customer service.

The rooms were very clean! The staff when we checked were very patient, we checked in late and one of their shifts were over but she helped us! The bed was comfortable! The room we had slept 6 very comfortably!

Super clean, quiet hotel. Hotel staff was very pleasent. The rooms were large. The breakfast had a good selection with a large area to eat. The outdoor swimming pool was very nice with areas to sit. Recommended for travel teams to stay here, very close to surrounding colleges.

I had arrived in Greenville two days prior to a family outing at the Outer Banks, and I had unfortunately booked a room through Booking.Com at a sub-standard motel. After we returned to Greenville, my daughter and I had to stay one night prior to leaving from PGV. We chose Best Western Plus Suites. And, we certainly chose wisely. The only bad part was that I booked one room through Booking.Com and was forced to pay a higher price than I should have (I was traveling on a budget). I would highly recommend the Best Western in Greenville, NC, as an excellent place to call home while in Greenville, The front desk staff was wonderful, the hotel and our room were exceptionally clean. The room was so comfortable!! When I visit Greenville in the future, I will definitely call directly to the Best Western Plus Suites because it is an outstanding "home away from home"!!

I was super impressed by this hotel, our room looked like it had been well maintained and it was clean. The staff were friendly and as we checked in we could smell freshly popped popcorn which was being served for an afternoon snack (cookies were also being served!) Our rate included breakfast, however we did not get to sample as we had a prior arrangement. The property was located near a number of dining options and the mall was a short drive away. Great hotel for a stay in Greenville or any nearby location.

Excellent room and we enjoyed our stay completely. I have to say the room was perfect . . . and I use that word advisedly. I found the room to be so far above that which I expected that I actually went on a brief defect hunt looking for something wrong but I couldn't find a thing wrong -- not even one bit of chipped paint. How does BWP do it? Ya know I could go on and on but that would be unnecessary. This is a great find and one of the best places we have stayed in quite a while.

Attractive appearance outside. Open, bright entrance with plenty of room to bring in luggage. Clean kitchen area, lobby, halls, and room. Large rooms with comfortable bed. Sofa bed in room. Internet connectivity was good.Good selection of breakfast items. Did wish they had pancakes but instead had waffles.Friendly, professional staff. In the afternoon, Monday thru Thursday there are snacks in the lobby. Great restful stay for family getting together.

We came to Greenville to visit our son who is in college at ECU. His apartment happened to be right across the street from this hotel. We were greeted and checked in with no problem. We booked a suite as our other son was going to stay with us and we had our daughter too. The room was clean and the beds were comfortable. I love it when hotels provide each person with two pillows. We used the pull out couch and had to ask for linens for it but that didn't take long. Breakfast was great! Overall we enjoyed our stay there. Will definitely book again!

We stayed here on previous Fossil Hunting trips and are always impressed by the high quality service and rooms. We had comfortable beds - sofabed plus two queens, and a quiet night. Rooms are large, and bathroom is large and well lit. The Breakfast service is superior to more costly chain hotels, offering real eggs and sausage, and a variety of other goodies.

I travel in from Maryland 2 to 3 times a month because my Mom lives in Grimesland and goes to Vidant Hospital several times month. Best Western Plus is such a wonderful place to stay. I usually bring my Mom to the hotel with to stay until I leave to go back home after her treatments/appointments. The staff have been so wonderful, the hotel is above clean, the rooms are so spacious, and the beds are nice to sleep in. This has Best Western Plus in Greenville, has become my home away from home. Also, the breakfast is always good, nice and hot.

Our family met in Greenville on Friday and stayed here so we could attend a family reunion the next day. Check in was fast, friendly, and efficient. The room was large , the bed was very comfortable, there was a larger size refrigerator, and it was spotlessly clean. We are breakfast the next morning and there was a good selection and a nice eating area. There was plenty of parking and it was well lit. A very good experience.

Our family lost a loved one and there wasn't room at the residence to all stay together, so we had 5 rooms and were able to get within close proximity of one another. The motel was pet friendly and very clean! Breakfast was better than expected and the sitting area allowed us to visit with family that we don't get to see very often. The rooms are nice, roomy and comfortable. The staff is extremely friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend!

Clean, newer modern hotel. Appeared business oriented, but we stayed while on vacation. Large rooms, some snacks at night, workout room, outdoor pool, quiet. Good location, easy to get to. Staff was helpful, friendly. We looked online and got a good rate, that front desk couldn't match, but we simply paid online and checked in.

We stayed here based on the enthusiastic reviews on this site. Things got off to a bad start. We arrived in town before the stated check in time, and stopped to see if by chance our room was available. No one was behind the front desk, but a woman yelled loudly and unpleasantly from across the room without any greeting “what do you want.” When I told her, she again without moving, asking my name or anything else, yelled back “We have no rooms ready. Come back after 3 o'clock.” She was so hostile and unwelcoming that I would have cancelled my reservation if the cancellation period had not expired. When I returned at check-in time, someone else was at the desk, and she was pleasant and efficient. I'm not sure what I expected from the rave reviews about the decor, but I didn't expect an older property showing its age spiffed up with some new tile and a few other updates. Both the lobby and the breakfast room are smaller than most. Our “suite” was the one room variety. It was nearly impossible to see the tv from the couch, but we didn't watch the tv much anyway. The bed was very comfortable, though, and the couch was in better condition than I expected. Breakfast was pretty bare bones. The hot tray had a signs saying “sausage” and “scrambled eggs” but no sausage. The attendant said “we don't have sausage.” There was not much selection of anything else. I would not rush to return.

Dear JJTOH - We have addressed with the staff member the welcome you received in the morning. We do apologize for this and do not understand how it could have happened as we do not treat our guests this way. Our hotel has been completely remodeled in 2017 with more upgrades and items than you mention. We even expanded our kitchen area to accommodate more guests. Our rooms are the largest in the city as to why they are called suites. Our breakfast has been expanded as well in the past year and we are sorry you did not enjoy it. Our hot items vary daily with sausage or bacon and always scrambled eggs.

Very clean hotel with friendly staff! Bed was comfortable and room was large. Convenient to intersate, many stores and eating places. We were very happy with our experience and will be staying again!!

The hotel is easy access to all things ECU. The rooms are clean and beds are comfortable. If i had to say anything negative it would be 1) It is very difficult to make a Left hand turn leaving the hotel. 2) Breakfast is lack luster, the lady was microwaving the bacon at the breakfast bar while guest were waiting to use the microwave. OJ is watery and be 1st in line to get a plain bagel before they are gone and not replenished. I'm not a sweet bagel girls so I was very disappointed. But other than that everything else was good.

Thank you for staying with us and your review. We are sorry you found our OJ to be watery and difficulty making a left turn from hotel. I suggest using the service road to exit - it's much easier to get out that way and safer. Our bagels are plain and blueberry most days but that varies depending on the stock supplier. Bacon is a hot item on most days and sometimes we have to run 2 microwaves to keep it filled!! Come see us again soon!

Rooms are clean and comfortable. New updates to lobby and rooms are lovely and inviting. Front desk staff a bit aloof. Prices have gone up since renovations but worth the trade off for comfort and quiet rooms on back hall.

Hotel made our son's graduation weekend perfect. Location was perfect. Hotel was extremely clean. We had 2 rooms which they gave us right next to each other. we needed extra blankets and pillows for the pull-out sofa and they were available and delivered to our room at 11:30PM. All staff was friendly and helpful. Definitely would stay here again.

More expensive than I prefer, but at least it's not over-priced, considering the quality. It's very conveniently located to the airport, so that is very nice. The lady at the front desk was quite helpful in getting me a small discount, but it seems stupid that the staff on duty can't do anything & so make you get on the internet for any discounts.

Dear Shawn - I believe you are referring to online specials only that we do not have access to or available at the hotel. I believe that might be why Tasha suggested you look online since they are only available if you book online. Those specials online are limited and we are glad you were able to get one to accommodate your budget.

We were here with a soccer tournament, And even though the hotel was pretty full and there were a lot of people, the staff was so nice and kept up with every request. We Would definitely stay there again.

Our room was extremely clean and very comfortable. Everyone from the front desk, to the cleaning staff, to the nice lady in the breakfast area were very helpful and friendly. It was also very quiet, no door slams, etc. We choose this hotel mainly for the location being close to our destination and because of the positive reviews. We will definitely stay here again in the future.

The staff made this stay memorable. I had a fee self inflicted issues with my room and both times staff was responsive, friendly, and helpful. The evening front desk girl on 10-17-17 gets all the credit for making this stay so nice. I wish I could remember her name. Rooms and Hotel were clean and comfortable.The breakfast was clean, fresh, and had a nice selection of hot and cold food. I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Greenville. .

Seems like hotel was recently re-done....very up to date & clean. Room was SPACIOUS. Slept really well. Staff was nice. Breakfast had a variety, but wasn't very good (how do you manage to ruin scrambled eggs?). Breakfast tables were dirty. Lobby & breakfast areas were newly updated.

Thank you for staying with us and noticing all of our remodeling we have done in the past year. We apologize you did not care for our breakfast. Not sure what time you were in the area or if things were being replinished or what, but hope if you come again you will enjoy it more. We have expanded the breakfast over the past year as well with sausage, scrambled eggs and bacon.

Would stay here again if the need arises. The staff at this Hotel are top notch. If we can tell anybody about this place we will surly speak fondly of the Hotel and and staff at the Best Western in Greenville, NC.

The Desk Clerk treated me like family. The cleaning crew was very engaging and helped get us in our room before normal Check In time. We were very tired and had been traveling all day. Our pet was traveling with us and they made sure we had a room close to an exit for him.

We enjoyed out stay while visiting our daughter at ECU. While the area claims to be pet-friendly that is limited to having a small dog less than 20 pounds. We had a hard time finding a hotel to accommodate our 60 pound lab, but found BW. The rooms were clean and the breakfast was good with lots of selection. The room was clean and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We will be back, with our dog (and kids)!

If only all BW were this pulled together!! I wouldn't stay anywhere else! Beautifully decorated, nice carpet, beds are So comfortable!, Clean Clean Clean!!! The Receptionist, night and daytime, were very helpful and friendly. Fresh free coffee upon arrival was waiting in the lobby.

Our room was a suite, large and well appointed. The front desk staff is very friendly and professional. Ample parking. Breakfast is hot and well prepared by the morning staff. Location is central to the hospital, shopping and many restaurants. Room rates are very reasonable for Greenville.

Being put out of our home due to a fire, we looked for recommendations through TA. The Best Western closest and rated well. We spent 7 very comfortable nights with them. The staff were all very courteous and helpful. The facility shows signs of recent renovation and upgrades. Our room was nicely decorated and had a very comfortable bed with all the desirable amenities. Breakfast was "spot on" with waffles, fresh eggs, bacon, sausage, various breads and drinks. Thanks BW for a great place to stay.

I was very pleased when I received an unexpected call from a hotel employee hours prior to check-in to check in with me before I arrived. The morning of check-out, housekeeping came by to see if we needed any service that morning. Nice. The room was nicer than expected. I didn't know pets were allowed at the hotel so I was concerned that the room would have a pet smell. That was not the case. No pet smells. Our room had some minor housekeeping issues: a leftover wire hanger on the floor and a Gatorade bottle cap on the floor in between the beds. It let me know that the room was not vacuumed when it was cleaned. And the door to the room was open when we checked in. We figured it was an oversight...maybe because of the rushed cleaning job...?

The room door is left open for us to do a final check of the cleaning for that day and should have been closed and locked before you arrived and entered. We do apologize for that and the Gatorade cap and hanger left in the room - That must have been an oversight by our cleaning staff. Rooms are vacuumed each day when they are cleaned as that is a part of the cleaning guidelines. We hope you will stay with us again.

We have stayed in this Best Western more than 5 times in the past year, when we visited our son and his family. It's a great value, is clean and has a friendly staff. The complimentary breakfast is pretty good and has a nice variety of things to choose from. The room is nice and the bed is comfortable. The bathroom is clean and large. Plenty of free parking, also.

The hotel is much nicer than it appears from the exterior. Our room was clean and spacious. It was quiet at night, and had a decent breakfast. The staff was nice and we got the room location that we requested. I would have given it 5 stars except that our room was too warm. The temperature was on 77 when we arrived and just would not cool enough even though the ac kept kicking on.

Love the location! Close to ECU! Staff is always very friendly! Very clean all around. Breakfast is always good! Pool area is a great place to relax. Like that there is a place to do laundry. It's quiet!

Dropping off my oldest child for her first year at ECU. Have had a couple of times to stay at the BW in Greenville and each time it has been a pleasurable experience. Good value, fantastic location to ECU campus and facilities and great complimentary breakfast. Always try to stay there while in town.

Wonderful Staff and clean rooms and close proximity to ECU. Breakfast is included which is always a plus!! I have stayed at this hotel several times over the last year and I have always been very pleased with the experience. Me and my husband are new business owners in Greenville and have not quite relocated yet, so on the busy weekends we always stay here for many reasons! The moment you walk in the door you will always find a welcoming smile and an attentive staff ready to check you in and meet all your needs! The decor is warm and welcoming throughout the entire building. The pool is always clean and relaxing and it's a great place to gather and meet with fellow patrons at the hotel. We have stayed in both the suites and regular rooms and all the beds are super clean and comfortable!!! I can not stress that enough! The owner has definitely gone out of his way to make this hotel one of the best in Greenville hands down!

Found bugs on the first night there on the sofa bed. They changed my room . The next room the AC broke it needed to be replaced. Instead of changing my room again they told me it needed to be fixed and it would take 1 1/2 hours. Went to dinner and came back at 9pm and it still wasnt done. When you open the sofa bed to use they are dirty and full of crumbs and food. Internet is horrible! Customers and staff stand right out front of door to smoke so you have to walk through it. Will never stay here again. I would rather stay 1/2 hour away from ECU where my son is attending than stay there again!

We apologize for the delay in repairing your AC unit and replacing the compressor part. It did take us a while to get the part and have it installed. We have had a lot of rain recently and when that happens in our city we tend to see some water bugs trying to find a dry place. We did not find any of those upon our inspection of the room and did spray for preventive measures.

This hotel is consistently the same. The rooms are clean, the breakfast (although varies) is available during the hours posted. The seasonal pool is a bonus with kids. Staff is friendly, helpful and always kind.

Overall great experience. The location felt safe for a woman traveling alone. Great access to conveniences and different restaurants. The staff gave me a few restaurant choices and were super friendly & helpful.

We stay there every time we go to Greenville, 3/4 times a year. It's clean and updated, rooms are well appointed spacious suites and comfortable. I think the free breakfast is great. Location is convenient to ECU

Have stayed at a few locations in Greenville in past years. So glad to have found this Best Western Plus Suites-Greenville. It's clean, quiet and has a great staff. I didn't utilize, but also has a pool, fitness room and breakfast.

On our way to South Carolina we decided to stop. It was very convenient being just off the highway. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast the next day got is off to a good start. We would definitely stay here again.

I have never been dissatisfied with Beat Western or the location I stayed at. But my check in experience was not so friendly. I will go back simply because everyone has a bad day. Loved the updated rooms.

This hotel was very nice and in a convenient place to the grocery store, park, mall, etc. It sits in a quiet area off the road and you could even walk to several places if you wanted to. My favorite foods were near --chinese and icecream

We only stayed for a night but the room was perfect for a family of four. Two full beds and a couch allowed us to spread our luggage out. The pool area was pretty nice and the breakfast was good. Staff was friendly and I would definitely book again if I was ever back in the area.

Stayed at this hotel on business. Happy with the free hot breakfast and very friendly staff. Conveniently placed rooms all along the hallway. Neat rooms with well places office furniture. The televisions had a wide variety of channels. Only real issue is the parking totally fills up of their are alot of guests. All parking is gone. The staff tries to accommodate but I ended parting my rental car off site and walking back. Still a nice hotel.

Hotel is very clean and the staff is awesome. Ended up needing an extra night and the front desk was more than accomodating. Great for ECU or Pitt Community College visits. Great value in a good area and it even has a nice pool on site.

First of all they called me kindly called me at 5PM to see if I was still coming. I thought that was a very nice touch. When I arrived, we'd been traveling for several hours in 100 degree temps without A/C in the car and the front desk staff was very sympathetic and quickly got us into our room so that we could cool off. I didn't get names but both people at the front desk were wonderful. One checked us in while the other went online to find us phone numbers for local rental car agencies so we could get a car with A/C for the weekend. Our room was spacious, clean, smelled great and nicely decorated. As we were leaving out on the first evening, the front desk had warm cookies. On the 2nd day we went to breakfast and came back to our room to find a nice handwritten note from the cleaning lady. She'd come in to clean our room and I'd left my purse on the unmade bed. Her note explained that since we'd left personal items on the bed she didn't make it up but would gladly return if we needed it changed. What a nice personal touch! The pool was very nice too. No chlorine smell and it was crystal clear. We decided to extend our stay for a day and the front desk gladly extended our group room rate. The breakfast bar closes @ 9AM on weekdays. I arrived a 9:30 and the lady, who manages the breakfast area, told me that she would leave it up until I finished. That hotel staff treated me like family, actually better than some of my family. I live 5 hours away from Greensville and I really felt like I was on vacation. I can't wait to stay there again!

It was my first time but diffinitely not my last visit. Most of my family had stayed here at least once before. Now I know what the rave was all about. Family reunions for us are very special and where we stayed made all the difference. Hope that I'm speaking for all 45 plus of us! Great job! Best Western Plus comes highly recommended!...and hot Chocolate Chip Cookies to you all!

Stayed for ECU orientation. Good location. Room was clean with exception of stained comforter and a few areas that could have been wiped down. Didn't like cleaning staff standing outside the front entrance smoking while we were unloading and checking in. Left form in room requesting blankets while we were out and housekeeping left a note stating she didn't see request until she was done with room?? We got from front desk which was not a problem. Room was quiet. Breakfast was fine.

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Very clean, sanitation rating was 100. You don't see that often. Room, bathroom, and breakfast dining area were all clean. Breakfast bar was aldo very good. All staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Had a double queen room suite. Also had a sofa that pulled out into a queen bed. All 3 were very comfortable. Location is great also. Walgreens located about a half block from hotel. Restaurants and gas station close by. The only problem we encountered, which I forgot to mention when leaving, was we didn't particularly care for the duvets on the beds. They were very nice, but the comforter inside of the duvet cover, kept sliding down inside the duvet. The weight all slid to the bottom and caused the duvet to keep sliding off the bed. I would definitely recommend this hotel. Will be my place to stay when I make my annual visit to Greenville, NC.

We stayed here two nights to attend a wedding. The hotel is very nice and appears new. The entire staff was extremely friendly and very service focused. The location was very convenient to the wedding location. We recommend taking a side trip to Washington which is a historic river town.We would definitely stay at this hotel again.

The housekeeper's have stolen some expensive property, and the management seem to not care. Nothing was done about it even corporate was called and we were told there is nothing they can do because it is independent owned.

Hotel was generally clean. Great front desk staff. Very noisy could hear hallway noises very clearly. I had a problem with flushing the toilet which resolved late night. Breakfast included both hot and cold items had a wide variety of items.

The Best Western Plus Suites in Greenville, NC is a great place to stay. I recently had a great 3 night stay there and everything was wonderful. My room was a comfortable, large, king size bed with a pullout sofa bed. The bed was so comfortable, I slept like a baby. The room was very clean and neat. Their continental breakfast has such a large variety, it was like eating at home. The staff was so friendly and helpful. Stay at the Best Western, you'll love it

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Our room was spacious and clean. It comfortably fit our family of 5. The pull out sofa bed had a thicker mattress than most and our kids enjoyed sleeping on it. The small frig and microwave really help with cutting costs on eating out along with the free breakfast. We took advantage of the pool as well. The area was quiet. The staff were friendly and helpful especially housekeeping. We have family in this town and will definitely stay here again.

The staff was very wonderful. The bed was very comfortable. I was traveling with my mom and my two year old son. The staff was very accommodating. The room was very nice and comfortable. I was there during when there was a baseball tournament. Although the hotel was filled to capacity, the staff made sure to accommodate everyone's needs. The location was great. Close enough to everything without being in the middle of everything.

This hotel in general is pretty nice, the hotel is clean and staff are friendly. The breakfast has lots of options and is well presented. MY only minor complaint is the comforter with was very lumpy, all of the stuffing was gathered at the bottom of the comforter and would not stay up on the bed. In general a good hotel when you find their best rate.

Overall it was a good hotel to stay in. Maids need to be mindful while cleaning to stop letting the door hit the bracket on the door, it's annoying the constant banging after a long drive and you're trying to rest.

Stayed one night while my child attended college orientation. The front desk staff was very friendly and quick to get check in completed. Popcorn and some goodies where there around 5:00 which was nice as I was starving at check in. The room was clean, quiet and the bed slept well. Breakfast was good with homemade waffles, bacon eggs and other continental fare. Checkout was quick and simple. Very impressed with staff and accommodations.

Another great stay in Greenville. I was able to reserve the room in the morning and check in early for my Sunday stay. Love this hotel! The hotel is in a perfect location near East Carolina University. It's not where all the traffic is.

We are that little hidden gem away from the in town hustle and bustle and close to ECU. ECU parents and fans love to stay with us since we are so close and convenient to campus. We hope you will choose us each time you are staying in Greenville.

This was my 5th or 6th stay at this property. As always it met my expectations. The hotel is located on the edge of Greenville but close to all points of interest including convention center. It is clean and comfortable with a pleasant hot breakfast beginning at 6 AM. Also a snack of meat balls, nibblets and cookies along with beer if wanted on Monday through Thursday evenings at 5 PM. Pool is available during warm months of year and is always kept in clean working condition. Room have comfortable beds and staff is very friendly and helpful.

i have not stayed at a best western for many years and was quite surprised with their standards. all aspects of the hotel were up to my standards except breakfast which needed to add a few items. i would recommend.

Our breakfast has greatly expanded over the past year to include healthy items and even made to order waffles, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage. The suite was large, with a sitting area and desk, and the bed was very comfortable. Wi-Fi was good. But for what they charged for this room, I would not call it a good value. The room had some maintenance issues, including a leaky toilet that kept turning on and off all night and disturbed us. They had bought decent TV's but there is a lousy signal coming into it. All the channels were fuzzy analog standard-definition. I'd expect that in a cheap hotel but this place is certainly not cheap. No bottled water in the room, which is another nice touch they have overlooked. Finally, the breakfast was very low end, processed, pre-cooked and sad, except for the waffles you cook yourself. Breakfast room is small and crowded.

If there is ever an issue with something in your room it should be reported to the front desk so we can repair it immediately if possible. If not, we put in a work order to have it completed when parts arrive or if we have too we can relocate the guests to another room if one is available. Our tv's are 43 inches and were purchased in 2016 and we have cable in all rooms, this could have been resolved with a call to the front desk. Bottled water is in the kitchen in the refrigerator during breakfast hours for our guests. Our breakfast room is rather large and roomy with a bar that seats approximately 15 additional people when our tables of 15 are full. We are sorry you were not pleased with your stay with us.

I was in town with family visiting my daughter at East Carolina University. She decided to stay for summer classes. She was happy to get out of the dorm and stay at this very clean hotel with me. Our room had two beds and a sofa. Great space and very clean. Next overnight visit, I will definitely stay here again!

Horrible horrible customer service! No one is ever at the front desk, they want you to ring a bell ALL THE TIME! The general manager is rude and seems uneducated. The rooms are nice and clean but they have a BED BUG PROBLEM. I wouldn't give them a whole star if that was a choice!

Dear williamgford: We do not believe you are responding to the correct hotel. Please check and see if you reviewed the wrong property?

The only problem which seems to be consistent is the business center printer always runs out of cartridges. The first time, was ok but to return weeks later and the same issue to occur. I think, they may want to consider replacing the printer and investing in laser which would allow, business travelers less frustration of having to find locations to print - last minute paperwork. Also CLC travelers should be able to accumulate some reward points as reward member, even though they are direct billing clients.

Room was very clean. Staff was courteous. Great location and is close to ECU which is convenient, Bed was very comfortable. The cleaning staff needs to pay attention and adjust the mattress pad. It had moved down and was a little lumpy but was a simple fix. Overall experience was very good. I would definitely recommend this hotel.

The rooms were clean and spacious. They had the amenities that we needed (fridge, microwave). What made this hotel so incredible was the staff. Everyone was friendly, helpful and polite. They went out of their way to make sure we were comfortable and asked us several times if they could do anything for us. NeNe at the front desk was so helpful when we discovered that we forgot something that we really needed. Even the cleaning staff was friendly and polite! I will definitely stay here again!

Over priced for the amenities.The pool is outdoors and unavailable. The breakfast had items out of order each day. Unable to get the same room rate as previous visit. I would have expected the adjustment to be in my folio.

Stayed here without a reservation and the front desk was very helpful! This hotel was close to dining. The rooms were clean and the hotel itself was very nice. Great rate for this area. The room was large and the bed was comfortable. The bathroom was very clean and the room was quiet (even for a 1st floor room).

Whenever my wife and I visit Greenville, we stay at the Greenville Best Western. Manager Kristy Krisp is blessed to have an outstanding staff of truly caring professionals who go above and beyond. I made the mistake of booking with a 3rd party in order to "save" a few dollars, and my reservation was never confirmed with Best Western. Imagine being on the road 8hrs and wanting to check in to your room and it was never booked! after wasting an hour and a half with this incompetent 3rd party ( Expedia.com), rooms were almost gone, so Staff Ashish Naik and Nene Harris took matters in their own hands to secure our room before the Best Western Sold out and told me their concern was that we get our room and checked in, and that they will sort out the mess later with Expedia. The rooms are always well tended, comfortable beds and a really nice complimentary breakfast in the morning. Thank you all for righting a wrong and making our stay at the Greenville Best Western an excellent experience!

I stayed at this hotel for a business trip in the area. The room was clean, big and newly remodeled. My reason for not giving this a 5 star is that I was in an adjoining room and I could hear everything going on in the room next to me. Also, one of the staff members was resting her head on a table in the breakfast area and then moved over to a couch in the lobby while people were trying to eat the breakfast. At first I thought it was a guest until I saw her later with a mop.

We wish you would have called the front desk and we would have addressed that with the guest next to you and asked them to quiet down. This is not pleasant to experience that when you are trying to enjoy your stay. The woman at the front desk was so helpful and kind. We were exhausted from our drive, she was able to let us check in early!! Very friendly and helpful from check in to check out. Clean and comfortable room. Will definitely stay there again when visiting my son at ECU. HIGHLY recommend.

My husband and I stayed here for 2 nights while our house plumbing was being worked on. We were tired and inconvenienced with a plumber that didn't show up the first day, ANYWAY, that being said, the hotel staff was very helpful and kind, the next morning the breakfast was AMAZING both days! Cheesy, moist homemade scrambled eggs, sausage, belgium waffle, and delicious coffee! We were very pleased with our stay. The beds are comfy, the room spacious, and the shower wonderful! Our only complaint was that there were no blankets on the beds nor was there one in the closet, you have to ask for one....we ended up turning up the heat instead of waiting....we were tired. Blankets should be provided in each room as a convenience and comfort to the guests. We definitely will recommend this hotel for guests, friends, and relatives in the future!

Another great stay at Bestwestern Tarboro!!! Very friendly staff front desk, housekeeping, and breakfast crew. Wifi is amazingly fast. Guest room amenities were abundant. Clean linens in room very refreshing. This hotel has done it again for another welcoming stay!!!

Hotel very convenient to ECU. Room (except for bathroom) and hotel nice, finishing with some renovations. Our room had poor water pressure in the shower, a leaky bathroom faucet, and toilet stopped up. The toilet was repaired, but nothing done about the shower. I did not report the leaky faucet. Hot breakfast and friendly staff. Prices high due to homecoming weekend.

Had to purchase the refundable rate, for each room for each night, which made it the room lose some of its quality for value ratio. Found socks underneath the pull out couch. Also, wish there had been more bananas at breakfast and hot chocolate at the coffee/tea counters.

All of our rooms are suites and are the same - either a King Size suite with a queen size sleeper sofa including a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, 43 inch tv, pillowtop mattress, and more. We apologize for you finding some socks. And apparently the day you stayed our bananas were running out. Please come and stay with us again soon.

So far so good. I have to admit that we mostly stay at Choice Hotels because we can get free stays... We were fortunate to find this deal online and for less than $99 we had a wonderful stay at a newer Best Western Plus in Greenville NC that is very close to my home and safely away from all of the flooding. The room has 2 Queen beds and a sleeper sofa. The room has been updated with 7 tables, an LG tv, a thermostat for heating and cooling, a small fridge and microwave. The dining area has a large selection and there is always fresh coffee and a faux fireplace with cozy high back chairs. The WiFi is good and the staff is very friendly and courteous.

We stayed here for my daughter's move in to ECU in August. This is a very nice hotel. We will definitely stay here again. From the moment I checked-in until the moment I checked-out, I was thoroughly impressed. The staff, the amenities, the decor, the comfort...all were excellent. The rooms were extremely large, the breakfast was actually scrumptious, the mattress was the most comfortable I've ever experienced. Even though all rooms were rented, noise wasn't a problem at all. Very impressed with the size of the room and the comfort of the bed. Great pillows. The bathrooms are clean and modern. Coffee and tea all day long. A nice little get to gether from 5 - 7 with cookies, popcorn, lemonade and 2 beers per person if you want. Enjoyed meeting other travelers. Breakfast was really good. The attendant kept everything replesnished, very efficient and nice. The housekeeping staff was excellent and extremely friendly and very helpful.

We have been staying at this college for the past 6 years while visiting our children at ECU. It's a great hotel and convenient to the college. There is not too much traffic near the hotel. This hotel is not near all the restaurants on Greenville Blvd but I find it convenient to the college.

We are glad you stayed with us while visiting your children at ECU. We love being so close to the college for parents and students and football games. We are a few miles from all the hustle and bustle of Greenville Blvd and hope you were able to enjoy some of the restaurants on the blvd.

We were visiting the Greenville area as our son is a ongoing student at East Carolina University. This is are second stay at the facility and we will continue to use this hotel in future visits. Our only suggestion is a better breakfast selection and fresh fruit.

We have expanded our breakfast recently to include scrambled eggs, bacon and occasionally sausage. Fresh fruit is usually there each day unless we were out and awaiting our weekly shipment.

It was a very pleasant place to stay. The staff is super! We were only there for one night, but liked the amenities. We needed few extra towels and they deliver them to your room. Maybe they could have a supply of earplugs foOne of us snor guests.

Stayed two nights, clean and quiet. They honored our room request to be "far from the madding crowds." :) Front desk people were really very nice. Especially Mia in the morning. Such a sweet lady to meet at 0530 getting breakfast ready for everyone! Nice way to start the day and I hope the management appreciates her.

I recently stayed here with my husband and three children ages 1, 2, and 5. Everything was wonderful. The hotel is very clean and has some of the nicest staff I have ever come across. EVERYONE, from the front desk to the cleaning staff to the wait staff, is so extremely kind. On our last night there, I experienced a medical emergency having to take our only vehicle and leave my husband and children at the hotel. Very worried about my husband having to deal with all three children AND pack/check out by 11, I called the front desk and explained to them my situation. Without hesitation, they were extremely generous in extending our checkout time so that other family members were able to get there to assist my husband with the children and get to the hospital. We will definitely be staying here again when we visit Greenville.

Quality hotel with attentive and pleasant staff. Good selection for breakfast. 24 hour coffee was bonus. Location is easy to find and central to all areas of the city. Hall noise can be a little problematic, especially when it is a home game for ECU! We will stay there again on our next trip to Greenville. Exiting from the hotel can be a little challenging due to the traffic on both highways bordering the property.

I believe that the Best Western offers a good value. The rooms are comfortable. The location has easy access to Downtown and the University with an abundance of restaurants nearby. I have stayed at this location on several occasions and found it consistently very good.

Shower head was bad and never repaired. Fleas in room. Was offered another room if we paid 70.00 extra. residence in adjoining room was very noisy to late night. We never had so much problems in any other hotel!

We sincerely apologize for your shower head not being repaired and that you were offered another room at an increased rate. That has been addressed with the staff member. We have inspected the room and can't find any fleas, but are spraying the room as a precaution. I can assure you that no pets have stayed in the room in which you resided during your stay.

Excellent accommodations for a fair price near my family in Greenville. Complimentary Breakfast was good. Beds were comfortable. Location on the East-side of Greenville was important to me. We were able to check-in early since we arrived earlier than expected.

Made a last minute reservation and was pleasantly surprised by the friendly staff and size of the rooms! I guess all rooms are suites so lots of space to sit and get work done and then relax on the comfortable bed. Front desk very helpful with directions and getting around town so I can get oriented. Will come back on my return trips for sure.

I hosted a 50th Birthday Party here and it was great. The staff, specifically Alexis provided me with access to the room upon my arrival and was extremely accommodating if I need more tables and/or extra tablecloths, etc.. She checked in on me on several occasions to make sure everything was o.k. Additionally, we had rooms reserved for an overnight stay after the party. They were clean and the AC worked great. The Jacuzzi suite was exceptional! Thanks for a memorable event and overnight stay

Great stay, good food, good Managers reception every afternoon. The entire staff made our stay nice. They worked hard to assist in every way. We had 13 Little League Baseball players plus parents and grandparents for 7 nights....no problems, no complaints. The kids enjoyed the pool and great breakfast everyday.

Not knowing the Greenville area at all, we weren't sure about which hotel was best for our visit to ECU for orientation. Turns out this was a great choice. Our room was clean and much bigger than expected-especially for the price. Breakfast was decent (great coffee choices!) We were able to enjoy the outdoor pool. Staff was pleasant. Our only complaint was the dryer definitely needs to be looked at-we were up until 1 am drying a normal sized load-not fun! That needs to be addressed. Other than that it was a very nice visit for our family and we would definitely stay again next time we are in the Greenville area.

Rooms felt very clean and fresh; lobby area is inviting; staff is pleasant. Didn't get a chance to enjoy breakfast as my stay was too short, but will try next time. Overall great stay and highly recommend!

We stayed at the Best Western in Greenville on our way to the Swan Quarter ferry to the Outer Banks. It was a busy weekend in Greenville so it was a little chaotic when we arrived. This was the only problem I had with this hotel. We arrived late (10:30) and there was only one lady at the check in desk. She was trying to do everything. (let people in, make cookies, check people in, solve computer problem, answer the phone ) on a busy night. She was very apologetic for the issues and did well handling all this. The room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfortable. Breakfast was ready on time nicely presented and the normal hotel breakfast. As we arrived late and left early we didn't use any pools. The cost was a little high but with a gift card made it reasonable.

Dear xbarge - thank you for reviewing your stay with us. We are so glad you enjoyed the beds and breakfast. We were swamped that evening and it was extremely busy. Glad Nene was able to multitask and handle everything with ease. The computers were acting up that evening - that always throws a monkey wrench in the smooth processes we usually have. Room good, location good, clean overall, beds comfy, bathrooms clean and smelled fresh. Food, was just the opposite, Breakfast at 8 am, no eggs, bacon, waffle iron was broke, had a few bananas, and some toast out. coffee was cold, apple juice, no water. Cracker barrel just down the street, had breakfast there.

Jerry - The demand for our hot items is great. We try to keep them stocked the entire 4 hour period, but sometimes we can't get them made fast enough. There is usually a pitcher of water if there are no bottles of water. As I am told, everything was replenished that morning many times. We are saddened that when you arrived for breakfast, our staff was in the middle of making more eggs and bacon.

In Greenville to help my son move and needed a place to stay. This place was not too far from his new place and reasonably priced. The suite I had was a decent size, the beds were comfortable, and I liked having a refrigerator and microwave in the room. The staff was friendly and I would return again when visiting.

I am beyond happy with this hotel. All the staff is amazing... Nene at the front desk even had treats for our puppy and was so helpful. We travel a lot for baseball with my son and hotels are just ok but this was way beyond our expectations. The room was large, laid out well and very clean. The pool was clean and cool and well basically we couldn't be happier with our stay.

I have not stayed at a BEST WESTERN in decades. It was clean, easy to get to, and had very nice staff. The food was good, and the staff was exceptionally helpful and treated our party well!!! I would recommend this hotel WITHOUT QUESTION!

When I first came up to the hotel, I noticed it was on the outskirt of the city, on your way in/out. Getting past the location however I came to realize that it was close to restaurants and shops. We had to stay here under sad circumstances (funeral) however the staff here treated us with such courtesy that it made this difficult time easier to deal with. First off we had an issue with reservations. I had accidentally booked the room for the wrong date, they were very understandable and said helped us take care of it. The hotel itself is clean and has a great breakfast area with a pancake maker. The rooms are spacious and clean. The beds were comfortable. The only con I have is that the signs were not in the correct places for instance, there was a sign stating the pool was next to the fitness center when actually it was near the breakfast area. They need to redo some of their signs. Besides that very nice place and I know I wouldn't mind staying here again.

Thank you for staying with us recently and we appreciate your review of your stay with us. We are very close to the city center with all the hustle and bustle of the city of Greenville and restaurants and shopping. We do have a sign that instructs guests to exit by the fitness center to go to the pool. However, we most often get the request of where the pool is at the front desk and direct them to a short cut by the breakfast area. We hope you will stay with us next time you are in town.

I have stayed at the Best Western Plus, Greenville, NC numerous times for work in the past few months and the customer service is fantastic!!!!! If you ever visit the Greenville area please stay there

We was not expecting such a good room and extras. The room was a suite. The breakfast was a full one not a continental. I had access to a printer thru the Wi-Fi service. The couch and seat were comfortable and the bed was adequately comfortable.

Friendly staff, great accommodations, quiet and CLEAN. Traveled with other family in multiple rooms for a wedding and staff was able to group our rooms near others in our party when we checked in even though we didn't request that in advance.

hotel was located very near our sporting event. Very clean, well kept hotel. Staff very friendly and helpful. the pool was nice feature for the boys to play in after their day of competition. We used the laundry machines..they were very convenient. I would stay there again.

Glad we could accommodate your team for your sporting event. Our hotel is located close to many area fields and venues for sports teams, making it a great location for everyone to stay and play. Also glad the boys could play in the pool. Hope you will stay with us again.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus on our way to Maryland. We stopped here because of our great experience with the Great Western Sweetgrass in Charleston and we are happy we did. This is a lovely quiet hotel. The rooms are very comfortable, the check in is efficient and the service is great. In addition they welcomed our Golden Retriever Reese. Best Western is my new go to Hotel on the road. We will stop here on the way back too.

We stayed here while attending orientation at ECU. Not knowing anything about Greenville or the hotels there I had no idea what to expect. We were hopeful because the hotel had good reviews. Nene checked us in upon arrival. She was fantastic!! She is friendly, personable and makes a great first impression for the hotel. Great customer service! The rooms are clean, beds were comfortable and the breakfast was good. We will definitely stay there again.

I was in town for the birth of my first grandchild and Kristy Crisp and her staff was able to get me a room with a king bed. Room was very clean and I felt safe coming in and out at all hours! The rooms with king beds also have a large sitting area with a couch that pulls out into a bed. Room had microwave and mini fridge.

I stayed here on a business trip and it was a good experience. This is a newer and well maintained property centrally located in Greenville. The price was very reasonable so I was concerned the place would be a disappointment - but it wasn't. If back in town, I would stay here again.

Roll out the red carpet--we're here! Seriously, we were made to feel like kings and queens in the large, well- cleaned & maintained rooms with lots of extra furniture for hanging out, working, and, of course, sleeping/napping; in the other open and airy surroundings (lounge, breakfast room, workout facility, etc.); amongst the friendly smiles and attention from the staff; and with the scrumptious breakfasts, fresh-baked cookies, and happy-hour appetizers and drinks (including three different kinds of beer). We would highly recommend a stay at the Best Western Plus Suites of Greenville, NC.

The hotel was convenient to where we were going to, staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the entire property was clean and well maintained. Although there is a sign in the room stating they will replace any forgotten toiletry item--they will NOT. Just looks good but no truth to that claim. I was disapointed at their lack of helpfulness and service

Scott - We do apologize for you not being able to get the comb you requested. We were actually waiting on our shipment of those to arrive. We have the following amenities we offer: comb, shaving cream, razors, toothbrush, toothpaste, sewing kits, makeup removers and deodorant. Any of those should be available to each guest when requested with the exception of when they are out and have been ordered as the comb was. We hope you will give us another chance to get your business and provide you with the service you expect.

We stayed in room #110. Nice sized room. Had a couch and table. Was very clean. Has a pool. Very pleasant staff. Have a nice breakfast buffet, however, there was a very unfriendly lady working it. Forks ran out, eggs ran out. She was uttering out loud and slamming cabinets the whole time. She got an attitude when a lady asked if there were any more eggs and said, I'm trying to get them ma'am. When another lady asked for a fork, that is when we heard her say, they think I can do everything. Oh well, I guess everyone has a bad day. The motel itself is nice and we would stay here again.

We however, are not happy about your experience in the breakfast area and do sincerely apologize for this staff members rudeness on the day of your visit. This is not typically her work behavior and we have addressed it with her. She apologizes as well, clearly she was having a bad day and our guests should not be the recipient. The town is busy,alot of restaurants & shops in area.Clean hotel. Nice size room & nice size bathroom. NeNe at front desk is awesome!! I love to see such a happy staff member,makes everyone else happy!! She even came into the breakfast area to say good morning to everyone!! Can't say enough about her!! Breakfast was good & had oatmeal made.A/C was aliitle loud & could get cold,but not bad.

This hotel is clean, rooms are spacious, beds were very comfortable, great customer service and a good breakfast that accommodated everyone's taste. Best Western Plus has always and will continue to be our first choice to stay from the very first time we stayed there about a year and a half ago. It is clean, and has every amenity to make the stay enjoyable. All of the staff and employees are very courteous and helpful to your needs if necessary . As a road warrior I stay in lots of hotels and this is one of my favorites. They pay attention!! The rest of the hotels in Greenville seem to be really expensive, this one is soooo reasonable!! The rooms seem more then just clean, the staff is wonderful. The hotel is in the process of updating the property (not sure why it's great) but construction does not get in the way. They have snacks in the lobby 5-7, warm cookies (if they are out and you have a craving - no problem they will make you more, computer and printer access, great breakfasts. What more can I say but stay here. You'll be happy you did!!

Stayed here for two nights. Very clean room which is super important to us. The comforters on the bed seemed a little worn but clean. The bed was very comfortable. If you're looking for upscale amenities you won't find it here but the price is very reasonable for the room. The usual problems of loud noises of other guests was drowned out by the fan you could turn on in the room. Very friendly staff and easy parking.

thank you for reviewing your stay at our hotel. Our hotel is under new ownership and we are remodeling most all aspects of the property from rooms to lobby to restrooms and more. Duvets on the beds are being replaced this year but have not arrived yet. We look forward to the new top triple sheet design with bed scarves. We hope you come again and see that enhancement.

First time trying Best Western, pleasantly surprised. Clean room, plenty of parking, breakfast included, friendly front desk staff both at check-in and check-out. Located close to ECU so very convenient to attend events. Just a little hard to pull out from hotel at peak times since you have to cross several lanes of traffic.

We are only 1.2 miles from ECU and that makes our property convenient for most people visiting the campus or their college student. Traffic is a little heavy during the morning rush hour to work and at 5 pm - most times I recommend going up the service road to leave with less traffic.

This hotel is very nice, close to all activities in Greenville, nice breakfast and worth the money. The bed was comfortable, the room was clean. The breakfast is a plus for the money. This was our first time at a Best Western Plus and we would definitely stay again.

We had the pleasure of staying at several Best Westerns in April 2016. Although there wasn't really anything to do, tourist-wise, in the Greenville,NC area, we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. the staff were very helpful and friendly and went out of their way to be of assistance. The room was lovely and quiet - although the college boys did slam their doors many times in the night.

A very comfortable, clean stay. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel is located close to the ECU campus, and next door to some student housing. I found the rate to be affordable and a great value. Breakfast was included which is always a plus!

The room was very spacious and clean. There was plenty of hot water. The breakfast food was decent with many options. There was also coffee offered all day and light appetizers offered in the early evening in the lobby. The staff were nice and courteous.However the internet was not free and slow.

My stay here has always been top notch. It's a very clean hotel. The employees have always been very courteous, friendly and helpful. It's located in a more quiet area of Greenville. The free breakfast is pretty good, quite a few choices. They could use a waffle maker! It's a really nice place to stay, but they do usually book up very early, if there is an event.

Great hotel close to ECU campus, rooms were comfortable and nice. Breakfast was decent, managers reception on week days was nice. Staff was very responsive to all issues as we had an issue with our toilet and they were right up to fix.

I stayed here for a work trip one night. I had the flu and had been driving four hours so I was ready to hit the bed, hard. When I walked and saw construction, I cringed. I was pleasantly surprised to find I got a very peaceful sleep. The mattress rivals those found at Marriot or Hilton hotels. Very spacious room with a sitting area, microwave and mini fridge. Amenities included makeup remover wipes which I appreciated. Breakfast served in the morning. Can't beat it for a work trip! Would highly recommend.

Staff was overall extremely helpful, nice people who went out of their way to assist. We'll stay again for sure, it was a very pleasant experience. Although a little hard to find and access, it was well worth the effort. Rooms are spacious, clean and comfortable.

My husband and I stayed here for 1 night while traveling and it was a great experience & actually our best hotel experience we have had. The staff is so friendly & welcoming and the hotel itself is very nice. Our room had 1 king size bed and was so spacious. It had a couch, coffee table, mini fridge and microwave a desk, dressers and a flatscreen with many channel selections. The bed was so comfy I didn't want to leave! The complimentary breakfast in the morning had a big selection and was delicious. The staff up kept the breakfast area constantly and a kind staff member even came to our table and disposed of our dishes for us. We would stay here again in a heartbeat- We highly recommend this hotel!

I called the hotel in advance because I knew my arrival would be before check-in time. The desk clerk couldn't have been nicer or more helpful. I stayed at the hotel for 5 days and every employee I encountered was friendly and accommodating! The management is wonderful. It's clean, quiet, in a convenient location and they have a manager's reception. I'm returning to the area in 2 weeks and I can't imagine staying anywhere else-- it's the best all around!!

This over night stay was a last minute, late night decision. Upon arrival the staff was immensely helpful, efficient, and friendly. The room was very comfortable and my girlfriend was extremely impressed. She has traveled a lot and said that this was one of the nicest hotels/rooms that she has stayed in. I will be returning to this location again for any overnight stays in the Greenville NC area.

Enjoyed our stay. Clean room and very friendly staff. Price was comparable and staff was extremely polite and friendly. Convenient to East Carolina University and points around Greenville, NC. Would recommend it to others.

Huge room. Reasonbale value for money. Breakfat was terrible. Mattress was saggy and sheets seemed a little thread bare. I would have given the hotel a three rating, but since cost was srelatively low, I gave it a four.

Glad you thought our hotel was a value for the money. Our last remodel was in 2012, however now in 2016 we are taking it to a new level. With new ownership we are extremely excited about the vast amount of remodeling happening now. It is going to be beautiful.

We always enjoy our stay here. This is our favorite hotel in the area. The only issue we had this time was, I had my elderly parents with me, who needed a handicap accessible room because my mom uses a walker. The room was great but it was so far from the elevator. Handicap rooms need to be closer to the elevator. I hope they take that into consideration in the future. Other than that this hotel is a keeper!

This Best Western is the best place to stay when visiting East Carolina University. We've had four years of wonderful visits. The staff is helpful in a great North Carolinian manner. The hotel is convenient to campus and local apartments where students stay. We will miss this hotel after graduation this year.

Hotel is undergoing some renovations to make it even better. We stayed in town for the weekend for a soccer tournament. The location was very convenient to downtown Greenville as well as East Carolina University. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Bedding comfortable. Make sure you take your keycard everywhere. All doors (including front lobby) was locked after dark. That was a little unsettling at first, but then we realized it was for our safety. Breakfast could use some improvement.

Very clean hotel and great location. Very quiet. We had a king suite with microwave and fridge. Would definitely recommend this hotel.Has a nice free breakfast with scrambled eggs and bacon. Very quick check in and staff was nice. Even free cookies at desk!

Lovely property, beautiful lobby, Natalie checked me in warmly and efficiently. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. Our recent stay at BW Plus was just as pleasant as the first time we ever visited . Everyone was very courteous and willing to make our stay the most enjoyable as possible. We will stay at BW Plus again when make our trip back to Greenville NC as we visit the children and grandchildren. The rooms are always very clean and the fact that BW Plus is a non smoking facility tops the charts. Would recommend this hotel to anyone.

We chose this hotel for its location. We arrived early and they let us check in early which we appreciated since it was a long ride from NH. Unfortunately this is the only pleasant experience we had, it went down hill from there. Prior to booking I checked if this was a pet free property due to being highly allergic to pet dander. Once we got there we were told they allow pets but only in certain rooms. I explained my situation and was assured that the room they were giving us was not ever occupied with a pet. However, I was unable to sleep through the night since I was having trouble breathing and needed to use my inhaler. The room was not the cleanest, the sheets looked stained but it was actually the mattress pad and the sheets were so thin the stain showed through. The towel racks were rusty and there was a black substance on the bathroom doorway. The windows also needed a good cleaning. Based on the poor housekeeping I'm not surprised that my allergies were in full force. To make matters worse, our vehicle was hit in the parking lot and whoever hit it took off. We went inside and asked the clerk to review the security camera footage and were told the manager would be back and he could review it. When we spoke with the manager (Ashish Naik) he told us he hadn't looked at the footage yet, however someone took the time to remove the debris from the hit in the parking lot. Fortunately we took pictures. A few minutes later he stated he doesn't need to look at the footage that he knows who hit us and they left a number to call but that the person was 45 min away and he wasn't sure when they would be able to come back. At that point we insisted on the police being called. Ashish told us there was no need to call the police since the person that hit us already filed a report and to wait for them to come back. We again insisted on the police to be called. Once the police arrived we found out that the person that hit us was a staff member or the relative of a staff member and that a report had not yet been filed. This is very poor customer service, instead of trying to hide things every effort should have been made by Mr. Naik to assist us, instead we were being lied to. All this occurred Christmas Eve and we had driven from NH to spend Christmas with our daughter and didn't want to deal with trying to get a refund and switching hotels but we will never stay there again. Accidents happen, all we were looking for was honesty and that is not what we received at this property.

I have heard about this incident in our office and to clarify Ashish was providing information to you that was provided to him regarding the accident in the parking lot. Unfortunately, he was given false information about the report being filed and has apologized for that error. Regarding your sheets and other issues in your room - please know that a phone call to the front desk would have resulted in resolution of this issue as promptly as possible. The pet issue you had with dander - I'm not sure how that occurred in your room as the pet friendly rooms are at the very end of the hall on the first floor and dogs come and go out of the end entrance. We do apologize for this issue you had as well.

Employees were very pleasant, Hotel was clean. Room was clean. Best part was it was real quiet. Breakfast was good, Very convenient to have every morning on the way out. The hotel was secured after dark, You needed your room key to enter.

Stayed overnight during one of our many visits to ECU. Good location on Greenville Blvd. Close to all the shopping but not in the middle of it all. Bathrooms have been nicely remodeled in a modern tile and décor. Plentiful hot breakfast. Friendly staff.

I visited my son at ECU, and looked at a lot of hotels. Some are very low priced, and wouldn't want to stay there anyway, and a couple like Hilton are too expensive for Greenville, NC. I found the stay at the BW Plus to be pleasant, rooms are very large, with a sitting room, bed was comfortable, bathroom was big, had a refrigerator and microwave, a coffee maker. The location was OK, one of the only hotels in that area of town. Close enough to all the restaurants, Campus and bars.

The room had a broken drain, broken shower head, broken door handle, no wash cloths, vacuuming at 8:30 PM, are ya kiddin' me? They were supposed to fix my door while I was working, I arrived 7 hours later and the parts were laying in the hallway, amidst metal fragments. The repair man said someone tried to break into the room over the weekend, and boogered up the lock. Rather than repair it, they waited until I got in bed and then called and told me I needed to change rooms, in case the door wouldn't work and I would be locked in, or out of my room.

I had a long week. Stayed at 3 different hotels and this one is always my favorite. They are doing renovation so I understand if there is a little more noise or some congestion in the hallways but there wasn't. Looks like the construction crew is very mindful of guests and this week I even saw a young lady laying the tile in the guest entry!! She was nice and apologized for the mess which was minimal anyway. They are a little particular about vacuuming the hallways to keep clean which is good and bad because its always clean, but takes a while to finish. Apparently there will be new paint and lights coming in soon so excited to see what their 2 year renovation will look like!! I never eat the breakfast there because I am always on the go but the coffee is quite good. I like the snacks at the managers reception also.

Unbeknownst to me this hotel is remodeling bathrooms on one side of the 2nd floor. I checked in at 4:30 and specifically asked for a quiet room to be able to work and sleep without disturbance. Despite this the front desk clerk assigned me across one of the rooms that was being remodeled. The contractors were yelling to each other down the hall, and they had their tools & materials in the hallway with numerous tripping obstacles. I moved some of these out of the way. I complained multiple times to the front desk who appeared to do nothing to stop this construction-site behavior. I can only conclude that this contractor was simply awarded the job and no one from the hotel was managing or disciplining them for their disruptive behavior. Furthermore I had one of the rooms that had been remodeled with tile in the shower stall and the work was very sloppy. The rest of the stay was rather disappointing. The suite rooms are large and furnished like a suite should be, but when I laid down on the king size bed I sunk down into a depression left from a whale or other large size mammal. Fortunately the other side of the mattress was still supportive. I was shocked to discover that the maid had left used toiletries (body lotion & shampoo) without replacing them. I was able to use travel toiletries that I had brought with me to overcome that one. Also, there was no clock radio in the room and the front desk clerk had to bring one up. I went to wash my hands and then I discovered that the hot and cold water lines had been reversed for the single lever control. In the morning the scrambled eggs were served burned and the coffee area was unkempt. Glad I don't have to live here and deal with this low quality service. This hotel is rated #2 for Greenville but next time its the Hampton for sure.

The basics were OK - clean, comfortable bed and the nicest most helpful staff. They accommodated an early check in, and provided us with all the information we asked for. However, the hotel needs an upgrade as it is getting old and tired. Our taps on the vanity were wobbly, the sheer curtains in our room were hanging off their tracks, the air conditioning was noisy and too cold, and the fridge motor was like a jet engine in the room. Also the plumbing was very noisy so we were wide awake as soon as our neighbours were - around 5.30 am! Breakfast was among the worst we've had on this month long driving trip. Everything was plastic, processed and pre packaged. There were a couple of very old apples and mandarins but no other fruit of any sort. And of course, there was the ever present paper plates and bowls and plastic knives forks and spoons - more junk to toss into landfill!

Our property was recently sold and we are currently on a 2 year complete renovation plan which is very costly and being done in phases. Currently, our bathrooms have been remodeled with tile and granite and the processes will continue throughout the entire room and common area of the property. Our breakfast was just upgraded to include hot items as they have been requested by guests for over a year now. We use paper products that are biodegradable in the landfills in an effort to be GREEN as well as the fact that we are not considered a restaurant and do not have the space or size of a restaurant grade dishwasher. Hope you will stay again over the next 2 years as our remodel continues. We are absolutely looking forward to all the changes to modernize our property completely. Very nice motel with large suite. Room was very pleasant, clean and neat. Plenty of hot water for the morning bath. Quiet but convenient to street and restaurants. Free snacks (and beer if you want) at night, good breakfast choices in the morning.

I have stayed at the Best Western in Greenville quite a few times since 2001, when our daughter studied at ECU, and later, as she continued to live in Greenville after graduation. I have always liked the hotel very much. The rooms are a very good size, and the beds are wonderful. The ECU campus is just minutes away, and there are plenty of restaurants and fast food places nearby. Staff is friendly and accommodating. Our daughter recently moved to the western part of the state, and we went to Greenville to help her with the move. We stayed at the Best Western once again, and it was very pleasant, even though they were busy due to a baseball tournament. I actually felt sad at check-out, as I had been coming to the hotel for so many years. However, my granddaughter will visit an ECU open house in October, and is very interested in the University. So, maybe we will be back!

Great motel. The rooms and bathroom are spacious. There is an elevator even though it is only 2 stories. Rooms and bathroom are clean. Beds are very comfortable. Staff are very friendly and helpful. My one complaint is that the only luggage cart available had flat tires and a maintenance staff member walked by and affirmed there was a flat tire but did nothing about it. They serve a good breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon and sausage links. They also have a pancake maker. You push a button and it makes a one pancake and when done comes out in the right side onto your plate. The attendant was having trouble with the maker as it kept saying to out in a new bag even though it had been replaced. Pancakes were good but a little tough.

We have been staying at the Best Western for the past 5 years when we visit our children at ECU. We love staying at the hotel and the hotel staff are very nice. Recently we met Brittany and Alexis. I miss Taylor, they told me she left and has moved on. The hotel is always ready for us on a game day weekend! Go pirates!!

I have staying at this hotel many times now since my daughter enrolled at ECU this past August. It is close to campus and has totally met our needs. The extra space in the rooms are the perfect size when you have 4 people walking around.

Stayed here twice now in the past 2 months.. Love everything about this hotel from the friendliness, convenience, amenities, the cost, cleanliness. Great to know when we are in the area again without question this is where we will always stay.
