Best Western Plus DeRidder Inn & Suites

My aunt who lives in DeRidder told me that this hotel was the best place to stay and she was not wrong. Very clean, staff was kind and accommodating for me and my fiance to have rooms far away from each other the night before our wedding, and the breakfast was great tasting and had a large selection. Perfect place to stay.

BW in DeRidder is an excellent place to stay. It's clean, safe, well maintained, friendly and professional staff. I would highly recommend BW when you're visiting DeRidder when looking for a quick overnight trip or extended stay!

i would not stay at any best western again. they do not care about what your needs are. i was a evacuee and had my pets with me. they would not allow my pets in the build so while the rest of my family was in the room i was trying to get sleep in my vehicle so i could keep the pets cool and out of harms way

I really couldn't find one bad thing about our stay. Truly from reservation to check in, comfort, and checking out, everything was A+. Management must great work environment as each staff member seemed happy, helpful, professional, and thorough. The staff members seemed proud of their place of work. That says a lot and creates an outstanding experience for the customer.

Stayed 3 nights the rooms were good and clean ,mattress was very comfortable and I have a bad back . The staff was great and very helpful. The breakfast was very good the person running it kept it clean and everything filled up . Best of all it is close to everything and nice Walmart right next door . We had a large group there for my daughters wedding and everyone felt the same nice place to stay will stay again for sure .

Didn't have hot water it was cold and got a lame excuse it was because of the city's water. had to ask for my Diamond elite water and snack at the front counter when registering. was told they would call me to tell what was the problem with the water and never did. just slip a note along with my invoice in the middle of the night. not a great experience for $192 and some change

Customer service was absolutely terrible. After they messed up my 2 night stay by having us check out at 11 to check back into a different room at 3 they acted like it was my fault. We begged them they just said sorry sir. My wife and I had to get ready in the car for the wedding we were in.

The meals were fine.. the room was ok. It would probably receive a 3-4 but due to this incident - safety is far more important than a meal. **DO NOT allow them to place you in rooms that does not have security cameras. Room 228 and near by rooms (226 . Etc) does not have a camera. Someone tried to enter our room one evening but we had a safety latch on it. We heard something as we watched television but dismissed the noise until we found our door was ajar up to we're the latch. We called front desk and they advised they would check the cameras and never called back. The next day we spoke to them in person and they said they walked the floor and did not see anything and there are no security cameras in the that area. Question: why would you send two women to a room with no security cameras on it and the hotel was not in full capacity. Next stay in Leesville or Lake Charles and bringing my own security latch with us the next time. Unacceptable!!!

Rebecca is the Breakfast Server at this location. She was very upbeat and cheerful. On the last day of our stay, my family of six was the last to make in to breakfast right before closing. She made sure that we had enough to eat and drink. She even prepare some fresh food for us to enjoy! Thank you for your professionalism and courtesy!

Checkout is early (11:00) the pool doesn't open until 10. We asked for late checkout 12 or 1 so we could shower. At 11:01, you will be charged another night! Clerk refused to call manager with request

Just want to thank Rebecca (breakfast server) at the Best Western in Deridder, Louisiana. She was so friendly & upbeat every morning while we ate our breakfast. She greeted us every morning with a smile & asking us “Do you want a biscuit?!”

Enjoyed the hotel, staff very kind and helpful. Very good breakfast, will come back again. Good location to go to resturants. Right next to Wal-Mart is a plus. Plenty to do in and around the city. A visit to Toledo Bend is recommened.

I was greeted by a very nice staff member. She was friendly and very helpful.The rooms were well appointed and very clean. Love the coffee maker, fridge and microwave oven. Located in a nice area next door to Walmart.

Staff was super friendly and helpful. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Hotel is near all food and shopping locations. We only stayed for 2 nights during our trip to DeRidder LA for a family wedding. I would definitely stay again at this location.

We traveled in from Arkansas to watch our nephew's graduation in Lake Charles,and didn't want to stay in lake Charles, too crowded and noisy. I would highly recommend this hotel to stay in with your family. It is kid friendly too !!!

I stayed here nearly two weeks, the staff was awesome, the AC and heat worked well. the room was cleaned regularly. There are not a lot of choices in Deridder LA, This is the place to stay. Also it fills up quickly, so book early.

Staff was friendly, hotel was clean and comfortable. Good location for shopping and restaurants. I will stay there whenever I'm in this area. Breakfast options were good and everything was fresh and stocked well.

This hotel is consistently the best in town. Whenever I'm visiting Deridder, I make it a point to make my reservation early as they are always busy. The service and cleanliness of this hotel is always top notch and because of this consistency they will always have my business. Thanks team for always going above and beyond for your guests.

I chose this hotel as it promised a modified breakfast and child breakfast. There are no hot items available or proteins. Only fresh fruit is an orange that I had to ask for at the front desk. No dry cereal preboxed.. Only oatmeal packets. Food choice is a bagel, bread, small yogurt, oatmeal, hot chocolate, juice, coffee. Nothing for children really. Asked desk for cereal and they said they don't have any. They have a brown bag sitting ay the desk with orange, protein bar and small muffin in it and didn't offer it. Had to ask what's in the bag? Upon checking in front desk not friendly either.

Stayed at this hotel for a travel nurse assignment. After staying at the hotel a few days, I noticed bug bites on my legs. Searched the room and found small bed bugs. Informed hotel staff and wanted to switch rooms, the manager informed me that I could switch rooms but I would be charged more due to the hotel only having king beds available. Spoke with the general manager regarding the issue. Everyone was extremely rude. The staff was not empathetic at all and very cold. The manager acted like he did not like travel nurses and said he did not want travel nurses to stay in the hotel. I informed him, I just wanted to stay in a different room for a cheaper rate or wanted my money back. He told me the best thing to do was for me to get out of the hotel and he would give me half of my money back after first saying that he wouldn't give me any at all. He said that he did not believe they were bed bugs. Because of the rudeness of the hotel management, I contacted the local health department. After their investigation, they confirmed bed bugs. The hotel lied and said no one had complained to them regarding the bed bugs to the health department officials. The hotel has tried to coverup everything and not take responsibility for their issue with bed bugs. DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL!! Go elsewhere especially if you're a nurse! I do not want anyone else to go through this and that's solely why I have done everything to try to prevent this happening to anyone else!

BW at DeRidder, LA was a great place to stay, The facility was very clean and inviting. The rooms are well decorated with vibrant colors and convenient amenities. (Coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator) . Our room had two queen beds and one of the best things was that both sides of the beds had a nightstand. So you could put your personal items on your side. An optimal addition would be a light and electrical outlet on it or close by. Definitely recommended..

This is a perfect place to stay if visiting DeRidder LA. Friendly staff, clean rooms and great location near a wonderful city park. We were visiting for a High School Reunion and Best Western offered everything we needed to make the stay comfortable.

Best Western has been my place of stay when I come to the Deridder LA area. The rooms have always been comfortable and well kept. I was glad to see that even during the pandemic the hotel did not completely shut down its breakfast area...though dine-in seating was not allowed. Guest could still line up, get some food and go back to their rooms.

Very clean, quiet, staff super friendly and professional. Uniforms were clean. We stayed 2 days in May and 2 days in September of this year for our family reunions. Walmart and other shopping stores in walking distance. Overall great experience. I would return again.

The Best Western in DeRidder, LA was very clean and the staff were all helpful. We stayed for 2 nights while visiting family and were very satisfied with our choice of hotel. Previously we stayed at another hotel chain and the BW was definitely a better choice. I would recommend this hotel if you are looking for one in DeRidder.

Stayed three nights here. Everything was great except when we first arrived, the room was very musty. The ac wasn't on. I had bought my Lysol and Clorox wipes. These rooms were supposed to be cleaned extra well because of Covid. I sprayed Lysol the minute I walked in. Everything else appeared to be ok until my sister folds her cover back and there is what appeared to be a squished bug in the sheets. And what also appeared to be old blood. So apparently even during Covid these sheets were not changed. We went to the front desk a nd complained and got new sheets and also a new comforter. The next day I had all new sheets on my bed and my sisters bed also had new sheets. We have stayed there a few times before with no problems. I would suggest pulling those covers back and checking sheets. The back door was hard to get open so people would just prop it open to keep from having to deal with it. Overall the hotel was clean but housekeeping could use improvement.

Management didn't even speak the Morning I checked out. She walked by and just looked at me and said nothing. Beds were terrible and the fence was busted and broken down and the front desk night clerk was very unfriendly

Stayed at this hotel for one night full price $159! Mold odors in walls even when they switched me in another room! It was 50 degrees so I've started the heating and major smoke dust came out with a discussed smell that actually made my smoke detector go off! I close the heater and was tol by Morgan the manager that it was « normal » since the heating system was not clean! Took a shower and wipe my face with the first towel on the rack a brown stain on the towel « like you know » if I could add a photo here I would! The answer it's normal ... we clean our towels with bleach and a cram color can o occur! What the!? So whatever happened at this place that gross you out... it's normal!

Rooms were clean and comfortable. The only down fall was the back entrance wouldn't work with our key in the evening so we had to go all the way through the front when our room was right by the back entrance. I guess this is for safety reasons.

I've stayed here several times and encountered the same issue every time. The cleaning staff don't respect customer wishes. Let me clarify, when I say "wishes" I mean the little tag you hang on the door that states do not disturb. EVERY morning I am awaken by a loud knock on the door and someone yelling "housekeeping". Check out is at 11am. Why are you knocking on my door between 8am-9am? The front desk crew needs to make them aware of who has checked out OR they need to simply follow the DND hangtag if a customer uses it. I've addressed my concerns and have yet to get a response from them. P. S. The young lady who manages the breakfast area is awesome!

I stayed a few nights when visiting friends at Fort Polk and will definitely stay there again when I visit them again! The staff are super nice and friendly. I had opportunity to speak with Regina during breakfast, which by the way, is an excellent breakfast included in the stay. The rooms are clean and comfortable. My room was by the elevator but was still nice and quiet, which is a definite plus!

I traveled to DeRidder for a business trip. The hotel was easy to find and had plenty of parking. The front desk person was friendly and efficient and check in was easy. The king room was very large with plenty of space.

My stay here was great. Everything was excellent. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Clean!!! I had no problems at all. My next timer thru, I will stay again. Friendly staff. Great breakfast. Overall you have excellent service!!!

Staff was always available and friendly. Breakfast was great and the attendant was always ready to serve. The Hotel is very clean but we noticed a management issue with housekeeping. Needs training!!!!

Clean hotel and courteous staff. Beds were comfortable and room was very clean. Check in was fast and easy. Definitely plan on staying at a Best Western in the future. I would recommend Best Western for your hotel needs.

Everything is good here staff makes u feel at home and the breakfast is amazing. I come through DeRidder very rarely but I always stay at my bestwestern. The rooms and beds are always clean quiet and comfortable.

Please stop making powdered eggs, it makes the mornings a hell of a lot better when you can eat a real egg that comes out of a shell before going to work. That's all I'm saying! P.S.: Real bacon would also be pleasant as well.

I was very satisfied with the service and condition of this hotel. People were more than willing to help with making one feel at home. This was a business trip for 5 weeks stay, if I must come back, this is where I will stay again.

I give this place a 4 star over all. Pretty clean and quiet. Good service. The breakfast surprised me at the variety and the attendant working was really nice and made us feel comfortable.Food was good with the many different things to choose from. Check in staff unfriendly and tv didn't work in room. Beds were a little hard but not horrible. Clean room. Decent location. Good hotel for a smaller town. Nice to have a full breakfast in morning that's included.

Nice hotel, updated and quiet area. Walmart next door for last minute items needed. Refreshing clean pool, and good exercise room for guest use. Would recommend this hotel for travels or for longer stays in the near area. Breakfast attendant (Rebecca) made sure you was happy with the breakfast meal.

I had a Wonderful stay. The staff was Awesome. I was there for the weekend. Everyone made me feel welcome. I will definitely be staying there again. The room was clean and very spacious. The price was worth every penny.

Very customer centric staff, clean hotel and very well kept rooms. Fast check-in, courteous staff that go above and beyond and hotel is centrally located close to all amenities with ample free parking.

We have stayed at this hotel previously and this stay was well below the standard previously set. First we waited quite a while for the desk clerk to get off of the phone to check us in. She apologized after the call but still I don't think a guest standing in front of you should have to be the one placed on hold especially since check in is usually so brief. Then we went to our room 115 and it stunk of mold so strongly that we could not enter the room. We went back to the desk clerk to ask to change rooms and again waited for her to get off of the phone for quite a while. She eventually found us another room which still had an odor to it but one which was much more bearable. The next day the breakfast was below standard and inedible. We have enjoyed the breakfast previously but this time it was bad. For checkout, I only waited a couple of moments. I have recommended this hotel to host guests for our family reunion but I can no longer recommend it. It has gone down hill.

Mold on walls and obvious leak in room above on ceiling. Strong mildew smell in room. I asked for extra bath towel and was told you have to turn one in to get extra, but we each needed two towels. Then we said we would bring one in and were told they didn't have any towels. I am not sure what was going on? This used to be a great place to stay, now I will be looking for a AirBNB or maybe going to Ft Polk area.

I had to switch rooms twice. One because I was I given a preference of the type of Room that I would like. Also the faucet in the bathroom/shower was not working at all. The hotel only had 1 hot water heater. The manager was wonderful to work with. There was also a very nice front desk lady named Pauline. She was absolutely wonderful to work with as well.

Have stayed at this hotel many times over the past several years. The front desk has always been very accommodating when our group has needed to gather for a quick meeting, or when there has been any issue with the room. Rooms are clean, breakfast area is clean and the food is consistent. Overall the stays I have had at the Best Western DeRidder have been pleasant.

I had a nice stay here. The staff was friendly and the rooms were clean. They have a good breakfast that was included in the room rate. Centrally located to get to area attractions and shopping, restaurants and more.

Very clean rooms. Very clean Hotel. It does have a pool. Breakfast was really really good. Check-in and check-out was easy. The staff was friendly. I would stay here again if I was in the area. We stayed at another Best Western that was not very good but this one is. I highly recommend staying here. The only issue we had was the beds were a little hard for us.

Usually in smalls towns, hotels take a turn for then worst. When visiting small towns tonsee family, we usually have to come prepared to do our own cleaning because management or staff lacks to keep it up. Well, that was not the case for this hotel. Accessible room, very clean, comfortable queen beds, good wifi. Breakfast was doable. I did not get a chance to visit the pool but whatever they are doing to stay this nice after many years, please keep doing it. We kept having to extend days once we were there and we enjoyed our full stay. Staff was very approachable and great. The staff that was there for the mid july month, great work, keep it up!

Excellent Hotel Staff service. I recommend this hotel for anyone traveling/visiting the Deridder area. Ease of access and comfortable room. Pool and Excercise Room. Felt Safe. Park and Walmart in walking distance.

It has been some time since we have stayed at this Best Western. This particular time, we booked through a third party site instead of directly with Best Western. The price for the overnight stay was the best we were able to find. When we arrived we were given a room that was not what we normally request when staying at the Best Western. Hence we asked if there was a room available that was a king rather than two queens. I try to make sure and not take a room that has two beds if we don't need it. The representative was hesitant to do so. However, after getting the 3rd party on the line and then confirming that there was a room available, we were allowed to switch rooms. We were so very appreciative of them working with us. We wouldn't have minded staying in the two double queen rooms, but were so very pleased they worked with us. The room was clean and the bed super comfortable with plenty of pillows. We had a microwave and fridge which really came in handy. Their breakfast was better than most, but about the same as most Best Western Plus properties. There was more than enough to meet different palates and the coffee was great. They young lady serving breakfast was friendly and very accommodating letting us know we had plenty of time to eat as the breakfast is open until 9:30 am. Check out was a breeze as well. We turned in our cards and were able to leave. We also felt the parking area was safe and convenient. The property is located next door to a Walt-Mart which is super convenient. We will definitely stay here again the next time we are DeRidder. Thank you for a welcoming and comforting experience.

Stay was very pleasant. Hotel had good location, was clean and quiet. No hassles. The breakfast was very nice and staff was extremely helpful. Enjoyed the exercise room and would have enjoyed the pool if it would have been open. Wrong season for that. Would recommend to anyone needing a place to stay.

I think luxurious is a real stretch. It is probably the best option in town, but it's an okay economy hotel. The breakfast has improved, but this town lacks real breakfast options. It's fitness room is token, but it's very close to the town's park with a good walking/jogging trail. The hotel is also next door to Walmart which is helpful for emergency or longer stay needs.

Good stay. Convenient to where we needed to go. Clean rooms, No view. Plenty of eateries near by. With tax and service charges paid $103/night which I consider good. Had an unpleasant issue with the commercial 800 number advertised for Best Western, where the personnel tried to tack on another $15 for "live" phone service aide. When I asked about booking by internet, she said I would still be charged for website maintenance. Hung up with them and called the hotel direct with local number and had no issue.

This hotel is the best option if you are staying in DeRidder. It could be better but it could also be worse. The staff is friendly and helpful. They let my husband use kitchen area to study while it was closed and he needed a quiet place.

Hotel is very nice and rooms are modern up to date and well maintained. Staff very nice and friendly. Breakfast was fresh andhad a nice variety of selection of items to choose from. Enjoyed our stay. Would definitely return

The morning staff is dreadful with their super attitudes. However the grounds are well maintained. I was told by the night staff that the pool would be available for swimming. The next morning as the kids and I are getting ready to go in the front desk receptionist tells me with an attitude, "it's closed"!... I was completely caught off guard and felt lied to.

I have to admit that I was very impressed and surprised by this property . I have stayed at Marriott brands about 170 night so far this year and I have to say this hotel I would rate higher than a few of those . Everything was clean and beds were comfortable . Staff was very friendly , parking area was clean and well lit . I have absolutely no complaints and would definitely stay here again .

My stay at this hotel was very enjoyable. My room was clean and quiet. I had a very restful night's sleep both nights. The location of the hotel was very convenient as well. I was able to visit with friends and family which was the purpose of this stay in DeRidder, LA.

Checking in was very nice with the afternoon/evening clerk who had just come on duty. She was very polite and cheerful even through all of the bad that followed. Our rooms were on the second floor. My mother had a broken knee cap and the stairs were really not an option but....the elevator was broken. The very nice clerk found my Mom and Aunt a room on the ground floor. We walked in.....the room had not been cleaned. The beds were unmade, trash sitting everywhere. I went back to the front desk. All of the housekeeping was suppose to have been done BEFORE 3:00 PM and housekeeping was no longer on site. Again, the clerk found another room, this one with one king. I ushered my family into the new room and found....a bed without linens and nothing had been replaced in the bathroom. Again I headed to the front desk and requested all of the missing items. By now, the nice clerk has called her boss who has called the cleaning crew to come back in and one of them helped gather up all of the items that we needed. I was still not sure that the room has actually been cleaned. The only PLUS to the evening was that my 2nd floor room appeared to be pristine. The following morning over breakfast, which was fine (and we had a very nice hostess in the lounge), my aunt told me that they had no shower curtain. I had missed this in trying to get the second room ready so....back to the front desk to encounter the very grumpy and unpleasant morning clerk or manager. I explained about the situation of the previous night and told her that I had missed the fact that there was NO shower curtain. She immediately became defensive telling me that she could not do anything about the shower curtain. I very calmly explained to her that as we were checking out at that time, I was no longer concerned with NOT having a shower curtain. I was just letting her know that we did NOT steal it!!!!! All I received from this person was a blank stare. It is a sad state that this motel is the best in DeRidder and that I might actually have to stay there again.

My bed was very uncomfortable. The mattress made my back hurt after sleeping on it. When I checked out the front desk tried charging me a surcharge on my final bill. They said expedia doesn't inform people of this charge. I've never heard of this before.

We had a great stay at this hotel. Very reasonable price. Beds were super. The breakfast here was the best I have eaten at any hotel serving a free breakfast. Would recommend this hotel if you are staying in DeRidder.

The room stunk of mold and mildew. The maid walked in unannounced while I was half dressed in the middle of the afternoon after they had already been in there and made the bed. And there was no hot water on the second morning .

The rooms at DeRidder Best Western Plus are very well decorated and probably tops in the area. Great Breakfast and courteous staff. The location is across the street from Double D's Steakhouse and walking distance to Steamboat Bill's and Mexican and Chinese restaurants. Wal Mart is litterally next door. Great location!

Truly enjoyed my stay at Best Western. The front desk receptionist was the sweetest thing!!! She was so friendly over the phone when we called looking for a room and that's the reason we chose to stay. She was even nicer in person. Everyone was so friendly and nice including the room service attendants. They went out of their way for us and we sure do appreciate it.

Thank you for making our stay in DeRidder comfortable. From the lady who was so kind and patient during our check-in to the lady who was making sure our breakfast was satisfactory, everyone seemed to go out of their way to make sure our time spent there was pleasant.

The staff was great. The elevator broke on Saturday night and when we left on Monday it was still broken. Apparently they have no one on call to work on it on weekends and nights. We kept having to login to the internet. It was fast when we had it.

Lobby reminded me of an international customs checkpoint... Room had some climate issues. 2 AC's in the room; 1 on cool and 1 on heat. Had a jacuzzi in the room; low pressure jets. Microwave overheated. Water pressure in the shower was highly insufficient.

We were very tired when we arrived at 1 a.m., so we didn't take much in. We did notice that the door seems to have been forced at some point. The room was very quiet, so that made up for it. They had both hot and cold food at the breakfast room. The room was quiet, but the view was not great.

Not a good experience.Elevator out for two days. Carpet in room was firty, needs to be shampooed. Business center printer not working properly. Towels not availy, told by staff that towels were not available because of late checkouts.

This location was used by a number of grads of DeRidder High School for class reunions (55 - 59). The room were comfortable, provided a comfortable environment and the usual amenities. The breakfast bar was amply supplied and the hostess was very pleasant. The front desk was helpful and generally able to address all questions. Check in and check out went quickly and smoothly. Due to planned programs for the reunion, I did not use the exercise equipment. However, it appeared well equipped and clean. I was not impressed with the furniture and décor of the lobby, it did not look inviting. This is my only negative remark about the facility. I would stay there again on a future trip to DeRidder. In fact, my brother is planning a visit and I recommended the Best Western to him.

I was extremely satisfied with my stay at the hotel. Staff very friendly and anxious to assist in any way possible. I would definitely recommend this motel to anyone needing a place to stay for the night.

Facility is very updated and extremely well cared for. Rooms were nice and big and spacious. Will stay there on other trips back in to DeRidder. Also next to Doube D Steakhouse and Steamboat Bills for dining experiences.

Overall a consistent experience in the times I've stayed at the BW in DeRidder. Staff is very cordial and the quality of the rooms and amenities is nice. The location of the hotel is very convenient for business travelers working at the paper mill. The hotel is convenient to local shopping and restaurants.

I enjoyed my one night stay at this hotel. The young ladies who checked me in and out were friendly and efficient. I had reserved a king room and was given an accessible room. Decor was quite nice, bed was comfortable, bathroom was very large and likely not representative of typical room. Breakfast was the same "hot breakfast" you get at many hotels nowadays and it was just fine. My only issue with this stay was that I couldn't make the room as dark as I'd have liked when I hit the sack. That being said I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Very clean hotel and friendly staff. The only negative is poor fitness center. However, it was better than my last visit. Close to my job when I travel to the local area. Good option for local stay. Nothing else to add.

This hotel is primarily used by construction/logging professionals. Hotel is relatively clean, offers a free little breakfast consisting of packaged frozen sausage patties, scrambled eggs (typically a little dry as they've been on the steam table a bit, but edible), hash browns, coffee, juice, waffles, a limited fruit supply, and the normal yogurt and pastries. Beds are comfortable and it's pretty quiet. Staff is nice, though sometimes distracted. Not the best you've stayed in, but definitely not the worst...and hotels in DeRidder are limited. Staying here or in Leesville are really your best options in my opinion.

Our stay at the Best Wester Plus Deridder was absolutely wonderful. We came in for a wedding. From the time we arrived until we checked out, the staff was professional, polite, and pleasant. If I ever go back to DeRidder, Louisiana I will definitely stay at the Best Western Plus Deridder Inn & Suites

staff were friendly and outgoing, very close to my job and things close to do in the area. hotel was quiet and very clean and nice rooms. I enjoyed my stay and recommend it to others I will definitely be back when I work in the area again.

Small town, not a lot of places to stay, but the best western sets its self apart from the rest! Friendly helpful staff, beautiful furnishings and decor, and centrally located. Will be back again when I come to visit my family again.

Clean, friendly staff, pool, workout room, free WiFi, next lot over contains large WalMart so convenient for purchasing items. There is not a traffic or noise problem. Nonsuite rooms are large compared to comparable hotels.

Clean hotel, always have had a good experience with the staff and amenities. I travel for business quite often and stay in DeRidder when I am in the area. More often than not I choose the Best Western because of its location and consistent quality.

First of all, the front desk staff are so helpful and nice. Me and my husband are OCD when it comes to our rooms. We do a thorough inspection upon arrival. This room was immaculate. We were very impressed. The breakfast buffet was no exception. The young lady that was working was very sweet. Everything was so organized and clean. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.!!

When I pulled into the property, the grounds were very clean and kept up. When checking in the gentlemen at the front desk was professional and helpful. The only complaint that I have is that the moment I walked into my room, it was very hot. I immediately "turned on" the AC being it was off. Fortunately it cooled off rather fast. Upon checking out, the girl at the front desk was very friendly and professional. I would stay here again.

Stuck in an elevator with my pregnant daughter for almost an hour with no lights or air. They did not have an emergency release on the elevator to get us out nor did they have a key onsite so had to wait until they found one to borrow from the hospital. I left my number for the owner to call and discuss what happened and I never once received a call. They never once checked on us after the event either and still charged us for one of the nights we stayed. TV was snowy, internet slow and AC took hours to cool off the room.

Alicia was wonderful. Kristine was great as well. Alicia was able to get my hot water issue fixed right away. Kristine was awesome at check-in. She was quick and was able to answer my questions i had about the area. I had a really good stay at this hotel. I did not have to go far to walk to Wal-Mart. I will be back in the near future.

Always clean and well mannered staff, quick to help if there are any issues. Convenience is good, and rooms are comfortable. I've stayed at this hotel a number of times and have not had any issues. Convenient to many restaurants and shopping in the area, as well as business I visit.

Was in town on business and stayed here due to location and rating. Room was nice and clean and the bathroom was very clean, one of my pet peeves. Had great nights sleep and the price was reasonable. Hotel is located right by Wal-Mart and several food locations which make it easier to shop and eat.

breakfast was good and had good selection and loved the pancake machine location is near other business and good front desk workers and the housekeeping people were nice and friendly i would def stay again here in the future .only downfall is the mattress on kingsize bed which i found just a bit to firm for my back .

We stayed at Best Western in DeRidder, LA as a group with a baseball team for a tournament. It was a nice place to stay and convenient location to where we needed to go. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff was really helpful and nice.

Not bad other than...When making my reservations online the bill with taxes and other fees was $314. When my husband checked us in we were charged $320. I understand this does not seem like much but I am unclear as to why the difference. And also there was a break in across the hall from our room.

Hotel manager refused to meet with customers regarding room complaints and rooms had locks that did not work. A room was broken into and 2 teenage boys attacked. Hotel manager rates her own hotel on their website to inflate the rating and takes down any unfavorable comments.

Very clean, nice staff, what more could you want. I liked that it was centrally located, close to food and stores. It was also just down the street from the job we were doing. The rooms were clean, comfortable and in very good shape. The staff was very nice and helpful.

I booked the jacuzzi suite. When we arrived, we noticed the heat wasn't working and the ambient temperature outside was 40 deg f. We notified the desk. I was called and offered another room (without jacuzzi) or a 15% discount on the room and they would try to repair the heat. I chose to stay in the room. A repairman came the following morning and was able to change out one of the units and heat was restored. The mattress was old and the springs twanged when you rolled over. The control knob on the jacuzzi was broken off. The bathroom was dimly lit and the sink and counter were very small. Don't spend the extra $ for the "nice" room.

This hotel was a pleasant surprise to us for it's quality, cleanliness and good hot breakfast in a small country town. The staff was extremely friendly. The granite bathroom counter, granite desk, granite table & granite TV stand was elegant & very surprising. The bath always had hot water & the beds were extremely comfortable and the climate control was great. The mini fridge, microwave & free Wifi were also a nice amenity. A+++

Our stay at this hotel was wonderful. Service was excellent and very friendly. Rooms were clean and very spacious. Also the location of the hotel was very accommodating, close to many different restaurants and right next door to Walmart, very convenient.

I booked this a room here for 3 nights in September during a business trip to the area. I was told by my colleagues in the area that this is the best hotel in town, so that's how I ended up here. I wasn't expecting much (I haven't stayed in a Best Western in forever), but I was pleasantly surprised with the quality here. The service was excellent, and my room was big and clean and really nice. I had free wifi at a reasonable speed, and there's even a small continental breakfast in the morning. The shower pressure was very good (important for those of us with long thick hair! hah). It took a bit of adjusting to learn how to make the shower hot (the controls were a bit weird in my room), but after my first shower, I had it down. It was easy to park here too, and it's right next to a Walmart, which made it convenient for me to walk or drive right over there to pick up stuff I needed during my trip. Overall, I would definitely recommend you stay here if you find yourself in the area.

I stayed here a few years ago for 3 months. I recently stayed here again for 1 night. The people are generally friendly and the rooms are fairly nice. Beds are not the best, I had to sleep on the couch while here for 3 months, couch was very comfortable. Breakfast is all right, nothing real fancy, but its hot and it fills you up.

Awesome service from staff and management. They offered us a discount and made sure we had everything we needed.. They had no problem with us posting our own security on the property for the reason we were there. Even guest in others rooms told us they felt very safe in this hotel. The pool area was also well kept up, and the food was fresh.

Room quality was good, probably the best in DeRidder. Somehow the clerk who took my reservation over the phone (I had called the hotel.) got the wrong date for the reservation. The clerk who checked us in corrected the mistake quickly and cheerfully. Could not have asked for better treatment.

My first time staying here and I will come back if I'm in this area again. Room was clean and comfortable. The bed was great. The breakfast area was neat and clean. Food was fresh and warm quite tasty as well..

This Hotel is the BEST in DeRidder! The front desk staff was so helpful and always smiling. They made sure we all felt at home at their hotel. Shonna in the breakfast was wonderful to. I will be back to this hotel for sure.
