SureStay by Best Western Camp Verde

Only stay here if you can make friends with someone there. I have been there more than once, if your room is on the second floor........Run Away.....about 30 stairs, more like a ladder. First floor is great.

I had one of the worst hotel experiences I've ever had. The room had no internet, despite this being advertised and essential. When I raised it, no solution or compensation was offered. Only after I was threatened by the receptionist did they finally offer me another room — but the internet there was equally poor and unusable. The situation escalated due to Elizabeth, who I later learned is also acting as the manager. She was extremely rude, aggressive, and completely unprofessional throughout. She refused to provide a manager, refused to give a complaint contact, and even threatened to call the police when I asked for the issue to be resolved. They did not contact me to extend my stay or attempt to charge my card. Instead, when I called them myself to arrange this, I was informed that my personal belongings had already been removed from the room without my consent. The way my belongings were handled showed a complete lack of respect. My clothes, which were neatly ironed, were crumpled and thrown into bags. My shoes were packed together with food items inside a plastic bag. See the pictures — this speaks for itself. I escalated the matter to head office, but no resolution or compensation was offered. The response was dismissive and lacked any accountability. There is clearly no proper management on site, and the same person responsible for the behaviour is effectively running the property. No apology. No accountability. Avoid this place.

Great location just a mile or so from town and you got 5+ fast food options within walking distance, the rooms are clean and spacious with a free complementary breakfast, milk/juice hot coffee, fresh fruit, make your own waffles, cereal,pastries ect. every morning, the staff is great, super friendly and very helpful if you have a question or need anything extra, the day/evening shift especially, matthew was very helpful and answered any questions or concerns i had, they also offer the best weekly rates in town I'd highly recommend over any of the other options camp verde has

Room not clean. Noisy hallways. Breakfast ok but coffee was no good or didn't always look like we should drink it. Worst of all, after we left we got a voicemail notifying us that we were being charged for a lamp we took. Outrageous. We argued that there wasn't a lamp on the desk and would dispute the charge. Called them out for fraudulence and they reversed the action but told us they didn't want us to stay there again. Gladly! Watch out.

Incredibly noisy. The hallway was an echo chamber. There are big gaps at the bottom of the doors. We could clearly hear the people next door conversing in normal voices. The breakfast was a joke. Nothing fresh. No cereal. No bread (but there was a toaster). No eggs. No juice. No milk. No …. Should be called the “Rust motel” not the Copper Hotel.

Given the other reviews, I thought this place would be OK for our 5 night stay. It was not. If you book online with a credit card, you won't be able to change the card later. None of the front desk staff was able to do this despite Best Western insisting it should be possible when I called. The internet didn't work in our room; we were informed by the front desk it's because this is a rural location. Many truck drivers who like to drink and smoke pot stay here and congregate near the back door smelling up the entire hallway going to all the second floor rooms. Not a pleasant experience and I didn't feel safe.

Cozy room with plenty of outlets and USB port. Bathtub and toilet room was very small and in need of updating / repairs. The stairs to the second floor are very steep, and there are no elevators on the property. So if you have trouble with stairs, make sure you get a room on the first floor. We paid extra for the breakfast, and only ate the first day. Breakfast consisted of bagels, cold cereal and Waffles. There were no eggs, biscuits and gravy, meat, juices or fruit.

Excellent staff and next to the highway , clean rooms and a safe place to stay. Quiet place food all around you, casino not far away with a bowling alley. Not too far from Sedona, Rates are reasonable, this will be my go to spot for now on. Rooms are very nice and clean.

Nice quiet hotel, very friendly staff both cleaning and registration. Tim very friendly. Some restaurants within walking distance. Both fast food and Dennys and nice Mexican place. Stayed here January 2024 for one night before heading to Sedona area. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable.
