Best Western Hotel Borger Inn, Borger

We went to Palo Dura Lighthouse and then got caught in a hale storm hence arrived very late. Our check in paper was already printed. Quick check in and got to the room. Room looked and was great..we slept well..

A very clean room and a great staff and I will let others know to give them a call also if they need a room ever. The staff stayed on top of things with a good breakfast every morning as well. Good job guys! Outstanding !

Check in with Glenda was quick and efficient. This room was clean and very quiet. While the bathroom was clean it appeared they were working on the floor base trim as it was all missing. If they are not working on it they should be. Nice bed and pillows. I would stay here again.

They sold my rooms that had been reserved for over a week. Then was told this is the best we can do. Tub wouldn't drain and they didn't fix it. Internet was nonexistent and zero cell service. Dontbook

Everything about this hotel would have been great if the door locks had worked. Every time you left you either had to prop your door open, or let it close and have to go ask someone at the front desk to come open it for you. Sometimes that could take a while if they were busy helping someone else. Just opening doors seemed to take up a lot of their time.

This is my go to hotel any time I am in Borger. I know there are issues with every business, and this hotel is no exception. However, even faced with the difficulties of the keys not working, the staff of this hotel always smile and never complain about the issues they have to face every day. I spoke to the front desk and asked what was going on with the keys, and they were apologetic and told me that since they were not only changing out the door locks to a touch key system, but changing companies that handle their door lock system, the company dropped their license (ID number) if you will, and this made it impossible to make keys. Although it was annoying to get the lady to open my door, she always did it with a smile and never once made me feel like they were bothered by it. I did not feel like it was a security issue since I know they always walk around and check on the safety of the hotel. As in life things happen beyond our control and this is what it seems happened there. I just thank all the staff for always smiling and making me feel like I am important to them.

Apparently this hotel has lost their license for their room keys. You have to ask the front desk folks to open your door for you every time. This is not only extremely inconvenient but a major safety issue. If the owner cannot take the time to keep his licenses than what is the point of operating a hotel. The staff were all very nice and as helpful as they could be.

Very disappointing that doors could not be unlocked with key due to "locks being changed". Staff recommended that I leave door unlocked if I had to leave. Bathroom unfinished during remodel. Very noisy and unable to rest.

This hotel is on the main drag in Borger but a little difficult to find--look for the Sonic next door. Best aspect of my stay was the friendly and helpful staff. Everyone seems sincerely eager to make your stay the best it can be. Another plus is the availability of a real hot breakfast with a wide variety of choices--the best breakfast procedure I've experienced since Covid. The rooms are just about what you would expect--aging layout but functional and reasonably clean. The front desk failed to notify housekeeping to service my room but the housekeeper made a quick appearance and saved the day. I would disagree with other reviewers who either ranked this place as awful or as great. It's acceptable, reasonably priced, but nothing special (other than the service) . There is a Hampton Inn and a Holiday Inn Express in town, which I suspect are a step above the Best Western.

As we checked it, we were immediately advised that their key machine was inoperable. At first, I thought this would be a huge problem. The staff was very quick to assist any time as we came and went from the hotel. We were given cards to call ahead so the doors would be open at our convenience when returning to the hotel. Also, I misplaced a personal cell phone at one point. I asked the front desk about any chance it had been turned in. It had not. The front desk clerk (Misty) did use her personal phone to call mine in an attempt to help me locate my phone. I thought this was very helpful of her to do so.

This is not your typical Best Western. This place is dated and needs a major renovation. The staff is very friendly and helpful they go above and beyond to accommodate you in the best way possible. However, I am giving three points just because of the friendly staff. But the facility it self, it's a 1 point. I am surprised that they passed Best Western criteria.

We were treated so very well by the front desk staff. The room rate was a great value and the staff was so friendly, courteous and helpful. Great Service. My only comment is the hotel is kinda hidden.

Family needed a place to stay while visiting for a graduation. This was the best place in town. Within walking distance to multiple fast food places and in the middle of town so you ain't far from anything.

We stay here throughout the year and we love to stay at this hotel every time with our family when we come to visit my in-laws. We walked out of our room to go get breakfast and the first thing we could smell is how clean it was and it also shows. Due to the cronovirus the sit in free breakfast was closed luckily we were still blessed at the front desk given grab n go breakfast bags and my favorite hot coffee. Misty was working the front desk it was our first time being greeted by her she's so sweet and very friendly and she even talked with me for just a short period of time and was very helpful reassuring that her and staff is following everything they are supposed to do to keep it clean. The hotel was great! Was in town for a conference and called a week beforehand to book the rooms. Misty was very helpful and even got my coworker and myself a discount on both king rooms. Checkout went smoothly and without problems, hotel and rooms were clean. All amenities listed were present and in great shape. Beds were nice and comfortable. Great breakfast as well.

I am rating this hotel higher than I would normally have because of its nice staff. The lobby is modest and the rooms could use lots of renovation or upgrade, but the entire staff are extremely nice and are very accommodating. The front office girls and the lady that serves breakfast make you feel at home. This more than make up for the older aminities.

Every time I am in Borger I stay at this location. Every member of the staff is friendly and acknowledge me whenever they see me. The rooms are always clean and the custom breakfast is always served just right. I really love how the staff goes out of their way to make you feel like you are at home.

I've visited a lot of hotels in the area for work but this BW is the best I've been to. The rooms were clean upon arrival and cleaned regularly while we were there. Management is always friendly and helpful. Breakfast was fresh with many options and there was always a cook there to make fresh eggs which was a pleasant surprise! The pool/jacuzzi/exercise room were always clean and well maintained. During my two month stay I never had any problems. Staff was courteous and professional. Best hotel in town!

Well staying at most hotels across the country over the past several years I would rate this hotel best Western as an average 3.5 to 4. As to hotel staff, they were very friendly and outgoing. The housekeeping staff in my opinion only went as far as what they needed to do to get the job done, and really didn't go above and beyond. However when it came to the breakfast service I would give them a rating of 12 stars or more as they had someone to prepare eggs the way you like them each and every morning that I was there. Very rare!!!

The room was very clean and the staff was great to deal with, the girl at the front desk was such a gem. Such a pleasant time due to the weather turning bad. The breakfast was hot and had plenty of variety.

hotel staff is very friendly and made you feel like they cared with the conversation i had with them. the room i stayed in smelled like smoke. that was very disappointing. i would go back only because the hotel staff was great to talk to each time i came back to the hotel.

Nice place to stay. Staff was very nice, room was clean and quiet. Small laundry room ( 1 washer, 1 dryer). Fortunately it wasn't being used and we were able to wash a load of clothes for the remainder of our trip. Very convenient. We recommend this place and we will stay here again when in the area.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western Borger Inn and would definitely stay there again. From the time we got there until we left we were given friendly, efficient service. The complementary parking was convenient and the free wifi worked flawlessly. The room was quiet and very clean. The free breakfast had numerous choices and was quite good. This stay was a last minute, sudden stop decision and the young lady at check-in signed us in quickly with the same great price we would have gotten if we'd used our Best Western app and registered online (which we should have done). She also advised us of a great place to eat and checked to see if it was still open since we were arriving rather late. Truly, we were fortunate to find a value this great with service so good.

Great place to stay in Borger. I stayed for several weeks and I was very satisfied with my stay. Rooms are nice and breakfast is exceptional. The staff made me feel welcomed from the moment I walked in. Glenda the manager was very professional and courteous. Anabel is super friendly and was always there for anything I needed. They go out of their way to make sure you are satisfied with your stay. Employees like them make you feel right at home. I would definitely stay here again and recommend this hotel to anyone.

Friendly staff and convenient location. I stay here every time I come to Borger. Check in is quick and easy, rooms are large and comfortable and the pool is very nice when I have children along. Breakfast is always nice, too.

Annabell was friendly to work with, knowledgeable of policy, and helped us get our reservation done quickly. The lady that did "made to order" eggs for breakfast was super nice. The room and property overall was very clean. No issues with this location. Would stay there again!

We stayed here back in December. It was a nice hotel and was pleasantly surprised by the nice room we had. Wasn't as big as we like but very comfy beds, nice big TV, great cable, and the kids enjoyed the pool and hot tub. Breakfast had cooked to order eggs and a good variety of things to choose from. Coffee could have been better as it had coffee grounds in it but strong taste like I love.

Everytime i stay here at this location i am amazed at the cleanliness and the great caring staff. Annabell, Rebecca, Glenda, and Silvia are amazing. The housekeeping staff kept my room clean and breakfast was awesome.

Ok so here is the down side parts: Bed kind of too soft, toilet running all night, not too loudly at least. Off set these by: Lots of HOT water, Great water pressure, killer shower head, Quiet room, Delightful Front Desk person (Annabelle!) good breakfast made to order, good pricing.

Tiny town that my wife is from. When visiting, we will stay here almost exclusively! Great breakfast with fresh to cook eggs. They have a couple good places to eat- Plaza (Mexican) is always worth it. Jessie's pizza delivers and is good. A Sonic and Braum's are at the hotel doorstep and a convenience store is across the street

Was into to visit family had a late check in, but still an easy check in it was a quiet stay in a clean room all and all pleasant and will probably stay again for future family gatherings when in Borger

The hotel is set back from the road so reduces any traffic noise to virtually none! The check in clerk was very efficient and friendly. The room itself was clean and well appointed as was the bathroom. There was a problem with the TV but this was rectified very quickly with a call to the front desk. The breakfast was more than adequate, eggs can be cooked to your requirements if you wish. We found the hotel very quiet and no disturbances at all.

Very pleasant experience. Very nice, well maintained room. Pleasant desk clerk. Eggs cooked to order in breakfast area by equally pleasant lady. And at a price I'd have expected 20 years ago. If I'm in the area again for an overnight stay, it'll be here.

Stay was great. Excellent service except Check out. Stood at the counter for over 5 minutes just to check out other than that everything was excellent. Check in lady was extremely helpful and the breakfast lady is an excellent cook.

This is a basic Best Western hotel with a basic continental breakfast with the option of an employee to cook you an egg any way you would like. All employees were friendly. Small town in the middle of the Panhandle but nice stay for the night.

The staff is very helpful, and the custom made eggs for breakfast is unique. Hash Brown patties as well - I haven't seen this option at any other hotel I've stayed in, and I stay in a lot of hotels for business trips. Great service !

I booked a room here for my dad who was visiting for a night. He always chooses to stay at this hotel. The breakfast was wonderful and the staff is awesome and accommodating to my request on the room size and location. The room was clean and comfortable. This BW location is unquestionably one of the better I've stayed at (Diamond member - seen several). Very reasonable rates for the area. Fresh made breakfast by staff is greatly appreciated (and they change up the menu too. :) If you're staying in Borger Tx..... stay here.

We had a death in the family and the staff at this location was not only great at setting up our reservations, but took the time to show that they actually cared about us.. They actually sent flowers to the family.. We greatly recommend you stay at this hotel not only for the clean room but also for the great staff..

Clean, quiet hotel. Respectful and courteous staff. Breakfast cooked for you (eggs, any style) bacon and hashbrowns hot and ready to load on your plate. Many choices of pastry and bagles, yogurt, juice, etc. The coffee was freshly made. Wonderful!!

A very nice place to stay when traveling through northwest Texas. Clean, spacious rooms. All staff was pleasant and courteous. Nice selection of breakfast items, with eggs cooked to order on weekends.

There is not much to see in this area of the great state of Texas. If you like flat land, baron cattle country, and feed lots for the thousands of head of cattle brought to this region, more power to you. This is the ultimate area to drill for oil and gas.

Very friendly staff. Was on a motorcycle & could not lock it. The lady at the front desk offered to let me park by front door so she could watch it while I slept. Very comfortable room. Convient location with plenty of places to eat close by. Definitely would recommend someone to stay here.

This is the fourth time I've stayed here in recent months. The staff is incredibly helpful, friendly, and professional. The rooms are always clean and well maintained. In town visiting our daughter in college. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. Good recommendations for dinner. Room was clean. Cleaning staff was on it! Everytime we came back to the room it had been cleaned again. Nice but a little over the top. Bed had a divet in the middle kept rolling to the center. Had breakfast which was nice but the bacon was the thinnest I'd ever seen. Still tasty though. Overall a good stay.

This was my first stay. I was attending my mom's funeral. I remember the check-in experience made me feel a little better. He gave us a complimentary snack and bottle of water when he heard why we were there. The made to order eggs were made the way I liked them (well done). I will consider staying at Best Western when I travel again. I couldn't thank you all more for the experience of my stay.

Clean hotel. You've got to have that, or the rest isn't worth it. Breakfast was very good. The young lady will cook your eggs any way you want. Just certain days I think. But even when she doesn't, the breakfast is pretty good.

Spent several nights here, the beds are comfortable and the breakfast is better than most. You can have fresh eggs cooked to order. Now the downside the carpet was very worn out, the a/c kept turning off and on and struggle to keep temperature and was very noisy. The tv would cut out for a couple of minutes every night, the fitness center equipment was old and worn out to the point that it is not even worth trying to use.

Only place I will stay when I go to Borger! Very polite staff, breakfast with fresh eggs cooked how ever you want them and lots of other choices. The rooms are always clean quite and comfortable. Good location tucked a little ways off the road behind trees and a Sonic really knock the traffic noise down. Only draw back is the road its on is super busy, how ever it puts you close to everything Borger has to offer so its a fair trade.

My family stays at the best western in Borger many times year (my daughter plays college basketball) and we love it there. The breakfast is awesome love the real eggs. I visit Borger often for business and I normally stay at another local property on this visit a co worker was staying at the Best Western so I decided to stay there as well. Best decision I have made I will never stay any where else. The Property is in Perfect Condition very modern and extremely clean. The staff is top notch. And the breakfast is so good.

I was impressed by all of the staff within the hotel, the front desk was very friendly and extremely helpful! The maid made sure my room was spotless throughout my whole stay. They also just refurnished their rooms and make it feel like a warming place as of how you'd feel at your own home! It has some excellent amenities including the delicious eggs to order! I will absolutely be coming back to stay here again. Thanks for the great stay!

Stay here weekly, they have remodeled over the last year and rooms are great. Service and Breakfast have always been the best in town. Eggs are made like to want for breakfast and location has some fast food adjacent.

We really enjoyed our stay at this hotel. Very friendly staff, Comfortable beds, very clean rooms. Breakfast had a really good variety. When we walked in, we knew right away we were going to stay at a clean hotel. I needed to use their fax machine and the manager was very helpful. ON my recent trip to Borger, Texas for work I stayed at the Best Western. Everyone on staff was so friendly and helpful as I was staying on business. The front desk clerk helped me find every place in Borger. The price was excellent and the rooms were very clean. Breakfast was always hot and on time everyday. Every time I am here on business there is no doubt this is where I will be staying.

Priced right the staff was warm and welcoming. The room was clean, bed was comfortable oh and the breakfast had plenty of variety. I will definitely be staying here next time I have work to do in Borger.

I had a great stay here, staff was very friendly and my room was excellent! Staff went out of their way to make sure all my needs were met. It didn't feel like I was staying at a hotel, it felt like I was home! I will definitely come back and stay here again!

Front desk was very friendly and accommodating! Bed/pillows were so very comfortable and I slept so soundly! I only wanted a muffing/bagel/coffee for breakfast, and it was good. The attendant repeatedly asked me if I wanted eggs, or waffles or anything else that she could fix for me. Thanks for the stay!

The best Western is very nice clean establishment the front desk clerk Glynda is very sweet and very charming. Her smile is quite infectious. The rooms are newly update very modern. My family was having a reunion and there was not enough room at my family's house. So even though the hotel was almost full, they gave me a great rate and a great room. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the housekeeping staff is friendly, and Kal and Nuvia are great. Plus the breakfast lady was awesome.. She makes eggs either over easy or scrambled in front of you, and the breakfast is always stocked. I will always stay at this hotel when I need a place to stay in Borger.

This is on a rise behind the Sonic and Braum's ice cream shop, so it requires a little bit of navigation the first time into the parking lot. But that shouldn't be a deterrent. This is a well-maintained, clean, and comfortable place. They messed up the online reservation, but that was quickly corrected. Personal service at check-in, and staff assistance during the long breakfast hours helped give a human touch. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The rooms were comfortable and spacious. This is a good place to stay!

This hotel has good quality for the price, includes breakfast, which was very nice! Lobby was clean and up to date. All employees that we encountered were very nice and helpful. It is within walking distance to a Sonic and Braums which was convenient after a long day of driving.

The clerk, Erick, who checked us in was fantastic! I had requested a ground floor, but none were available. Erick carried our luggage up the stairs for us. There is no elevator. The AC wouldn't come when we got to our room. Reported it and it was turned on immediately. Apparently, they turn the room amenities off at the front desk when the room isn't reserved. Fantastic service.

Clean rooms, comfortable beds, relatively quiet. I stayed here for 5 weeks for work. The staff was very accommodating. 4 nights a week, ( mon- thurs) they serve dinner. This was nice after a hard 12 hour day. Breakfast was boring but was better than nothing. On the weekends get breakfast early because they run out of everything and don't restock any items. Pool and hot tub was nice, with a toasty sauna. I would stay her again.

The rooms are clean, roomy and comfortable! The pool and spa are clean but ice cold! The girl at the front desk on night shift is real nice and helpful.... Excellent service and accommodations overall and the breakfast is hard to beat in a restaurant setting! Been there before and will go again the next time the opportunity arises. The staff was helpful in giving directions for places in the community we needed to visit.

Pet friendly. The rooms were very clean and nice. At 1st they were giving us a room upstairs but when my husband asked if they had an elevator, and they do not, he asked if it was possible to get a room on the lower level, due to our back issues, and the front desk very kindly obliged us. The rooms are very clean and nice. The shower head in our room was awesome (room 108 if you are into that sort of stuff). There was a bit of renovations going on near the lobby, but nothing that made it uncomfortable.

I will always stay at this hotel while in Borger, it is clean and comfortable and the most affordable. The motel next to it is not at all desirable, and the two others down the road are way overpriced. I will not mention the name but the new hotel across the way, the staff was very rude, they have lost a customer, and The Best Western now has a loyal customer. The best western will be my first choice from now on. This hotel is nice and clean with a great breakfast!

This is a very nice hotel. I stayed while out of town for work. I stay in a lot of hotels. Some of them are not so nice. Being on the road a lot it's hard to feel at home. This hotel really helped me enjoy my stay. I Enjoyed the breakfast. The people were friendly. It was a nice hotel.

we stayed one night at the Borger Inn last month. Since the tourist season is over, we saw few tourists but the hotel is obviously very popular with workers in the area. Our little SUV looked somewhat out of place between the big working rigs. We came away with a real appreciation of why it is a very busy place. The service was very good, the room was spacious, clean and well appointed. The bed was very comfortable towels in the bathroom were really nice. But, the crowning touch was breakfast. We had choices such as biscuits & gravy, fresh fruit, sausages, cereal, pastries and all the other normal choices. The special touch was eggs cooked to order. We definitely feel that we got our money's worth stopping at the Borger Inn. If & when we are back in the area, we know exactly where we plan to spend the night.

Please be careful in the pool area it is very slick! The tile in bathroom is the same tile so please be careful. Staff is friendly and helpful. Have stayed at the hotel several times, but if tile in pool area is not changed i will not stay at this hotel any more.

very good service. some confusion about the rate? We will be back in the future. Thanks especially to the front desk and breakfast staff.Very clean and no hassels. I would come back again. They are making it better daily. Love the new parking facilities.

Centrally located in the Panhandle of Texas (that is, North of I-40), and close to the Southern edge of town. There are several popular places to eat next door, and a steak and BBQ place nearby, popular with the locals.

Pros: even in a room facing the Sonic, it was very quiet in this hotel. Never heard any of my neighbors. FANTASTIC breakfast - eggs cooked to order with real bacon and hashbrowns. Staff were SUPER friendly. Wifi worked well. Cons: the hotel is in need of renovations. The sheets, bedding, curtains were all newer, but the flooring and hardware (sink, shower stall, tiolet, etc) were in need of updates.

Beautiful Clean Room, everything you need coffee available in room, hair dryer, refrig, micro wave, iron. Walking distance to fast food, near by park for pets. Drug store close. Dollar General. Would recommend to others.
