"A lot of good things and a couple tweaks needed"
This is a very nice new hotel in a good location. The staff were all very friendly and the hotel was quiet. Rooms are very large and clean. The only downside is that they have a strange phone system that I couldn't figure out how to use. I couldn't call the front desk. If you go there you'll see what I mean. The other thing is that they don't clean your room and refresh towels unless you ask them to. I wasn't told this on check in and as a result we ran out of towels. First-world problems, I know, but we paid a good price for the room and expected it to be serviced daily like most other hotels.

Cynthia and her team did an absolutely fantastic job making sure all of our needs were taken care of for our business meetings. The conference room worked great for our group of 20 and the staff did a great job attending to our needs. We had Cousins Maine Lobster for lunch each day for lunch which was a crowd pleaser! Thank you again to the wonderful staff and Cynthia at the Vib!
"The good, the ok and the bad"
My husband and I stayed for 5 nights in October visiting family and friends. The hotel opened only several months ago. The good: - The hotel is within minutes of walking to lots of restaurants, shops and supermarket. - It is new and modern. - We had a corner king room which is very spacious. The ok: - The bathroom door can only open 1/2 way. We had the same problem when we remodeled our home. Our contractor took down the door and cut it. Hopefully the door has been fixed. - There is no desk or table in the room. We weren't there to do any work so it was ok. - There are some bright lights on the outer wall of the hotel (i.e. the large Xs) that are on all night so our room is never totally dark which is ok for us. But it might bother others. Other rooms might not be affected as much. The bad: - The room has very little storage. The photo shows the only storage in the room is that rack around the mini fridge. If we stay one or two nights, we have no problem living out of our suitcase. But for 5 nights, we would like some drawers or closets to put our clothes/stuff. - Our room was very noisy. Since we had a corner room with windows on 2 walls, other rooms might be quieter. Due to its convenient location, there are traffic noise, public transportation noise, etc. - Wifi was unreliable. Overall, it was ok. But with so many options nearby, we will look for other options next time.
"More Stays."
I do believe I found a humble place to relax. The Staff was so very helpful and professional. Olivia helped me with my reservations and any questions I had during my stay. Excellent Customer Service! Thanks and I will be staying again. -Joe
"New look for a BW"
I was very shocked that this was a Best Western. The hotel was very clean, modern and bright. The mattress and pillows were very comfortable. The location was also in the heart of Tempe (shopping and food) - close to ASU. I would definitely stay again. There is a bar and lobster restaurant in the lobby. Just a note the train tracks are right next to the hotel and can be loud but not a deal breaker. Also, I chose this hotel because of its close location to the airport. Sky Harbor airport was only 10 minutes away
"Cheerful and Classy"
This is a beautiful hotel located in a fun part of town near the University. The staff is friendly and the room was very comfortable. The pool is also nice and in a good location for all day sun. I really enjoyed my stay at Vib!
"Great!"
Everyone here has been very well trained. It just opened and you can tell the staff respects their positions and are genuine towards guests. I had a great stay and was very comfortable. It is also close to shopping and food. The roof top isn't open yet but excited for when it is. I feel terrible because I was tired but the bartender who worked this saturday was super friendly and I enjoyed hanging at the bar with them.
"Bob Weir Concert goer"
came to see Bob Weir and the Wolf Bros at the celerity theater-- Friendly staff always greeted you when coming and leaving the hotel. Great location walking distance to Mill St bars and restaurant also ASU campus and "A" mountain a short waling distance. there is also a Whole Foods down the block
"Modern and very nice hotel!"
Very nice Best Western! We were pleasantly surprised. Nice bar area and coffee bar. Rooms were set up differently, it was almost like a studio apartment. Very clean and new! Wish the rooftop bar was open! Service was awesome, people were nice and happy. Customer service was excellent! Only negative was our view of a downtrodden Tempe neighborhood.
"Great choice for ASU stay"
Not too far away and very clean, friendly and positive energy. The Lobster BLT sandwich was an added bonus. Better hotel price than others. Suggest going. ASU family weekend. Will be back for another stay
"Amazing stay"
This was the first time using VIB though not a BW. We absolutely LOVED this hotel. The decor, the well designed room, the overall cleanliness of the facility is only overshadowed by the truly wonderful, attentive staff. A Very modern place with a great feel. CLEAN I truly liked NOT having the typical hotel carpet that always seems dirty. The small restaurant and bar area were perfect so as to not have to drive somewhere to get a bite to eat. There are several easy to walk to places close for full meals. The breakfast is not free as most BW have but a small counter area had a few choices(yogurt, breakfast sandwich, pastry, oatmeal). We would definitely stay here again.

"Spotless"
Cleanliness is HUGE for me when staying at a motel/hotel. This place was spotless. Coffee/breakfast bar, Maine Lobster fast food place in the lobby, lots of snacks available 24 hours. I didn't try the lounge on the roof, but it looks interesting. Many restaurants within a mile. Rooms were clean, beds comfy with built-in reading lights. I would definitely stay here again.

VIB was awesome and exceeded my expectations- definitely not what I had originally thought of a Best Western! The hotel is really nice and the staff is so friendly. I would definitely recommend this hotel!
"Beautiful New hotel in Tempe"
We were moving our daughter into her dorms at Arizona State University and stayed at the Best Western VIB. Everyone was beyond helpful, super nice and very attentive during our whole stay. They made sure we were comfortable and everything was handled during our stay so that we could focus on moving her in. Best hospitality and stay we have had in a long time. It's a gorgeous new hotel and super comfortable. Thank you Best Western VIB Tempe, we will definitely be back!!
"A Tempe hidden gem"
From the amazingly decorated rooms to the wonderful service from all the staff (incl front desk, housekeepers, coffee stand staff, etc), this hotel can't be beat! I completely enjoyed my stay and appreciated how clean and well designed the rooms were! I liked how they have RoomCast to screen share from my devices, free Wifi, wireless and wired chargers, and clothes steamer. Additionally I like how convenient the free Orbit Venus shuttle to downtown Tempe and Mill Ave was literally right outside the hotel doors. Same thing for the Tempe Streetcar as well. And then the Light Rail is only a few blocks away. The rooftop deck is partially done but it gave amazing views of the surrounding areas. I would definitely stay here again and recommend others to this hotel!
"Brand New Hotel - Great Place to Stay"
The staff was exceptionally helpful and courteous. A minor issue, was resolved super fast. Checking in and checking out was a breeze. The room was well organized and clean. Definitely a great place to stay.
"Love Vib Hotel!"
We loved staying at the new Vib Hotel in Tempe. It was very clean, the staff were all friendly and helpful, the rooms were comfortable and lots of parking. They have electric car charging stations, nice pool, restaurant and cafe in a comfortable lounge/ check in area. It is walking distance (even in the heat) to a grocery store, restaurants, ASU Campus, Tempe Town Center and more.
"Great Hotel"
The rooms were clean and the staff was friendly. If you haven't tried it yet, Cousin's Maine Lobster is delicious and conveniently located in the hotel lobby! If I ever have the chance to stay in Tempe again, we will definitely be booking with Vib!
"Stopped for the night"
Stopped for the night after a long ride from Texas, staff were super friendly and quite nice. The hotel is located near the ASU campus which is a plus if you wanna hit the night life . Room was comfortable and suited all our needs! A lot of reviews talk of noise and other negative happenings. All that we experienced was good so no complaints here, restaurant and bar in the lobby and again walking distance to shops and night life. Would definitely stay again, affordable and comfortable and friendly staff gets two thumbs up in my book!
"Luv Modern Design—Overall Comfort Came Up Short"
We booked a reservation at Vib for 4 nights in June because the modern design and decor is appealing to us. Plenty of seating areas for reading electronic device and/or socializing. Staff was very courteous and conversational. Hotel was very clean and in a convenient area for restaurants. Our room had its challenges and in hind sight we should have selected a larger room on opposite of hotel — perhaps that would've minimized the noise and comfortably accommodated two people with large suitcases in tow from extended road trip. The limited maneuvering space and assorted interior/exterior noise were a challenge. Whoever chose the noisy A/C units for the hotel should be fired because it repeatedly woke us up all through the night and compromised our quality of sleep. The hotel resides in the ASU campus area (which we didn't mind) and train tracks are close to hotel. The trains do not blow the horns however the engine rumble is apparent. Late evening/early morning street noise from motorcycles and sports cars were reliable. The king sized bed was comfortable, yet so close to the wall that I had to turn and shuffle sideways to maneuver around it. (I'm 5-5 and 118 lbs.) There is one sink with limited counter space for toiletries. Food is available for purchase at the restaurant in the lobby. I'm not discouraging patrons from choosing this hotel. If you prefer a modern decor, want restaurants within walking distance, and are traveling light then give it a try. We should have been more selective with room size and location.
"Staycation"
The room was okay. Corner room with views of construction. Desk shelf was under TV and sitting at the desk shelf, the chair was too small. Elbows were close to shoulder level to work on computer. Couch was comfortable, but had to be moved to the food of the bed to watch TV.
"Great, modern place"
Exactly what we needed. Facility was new, clean and modern. Centrally located, everything was close by. Tempe town lake right around the corner and Mill Ave bridge is always so pretty. All the staff were so helpful and kind, we never wanted for anthing.

"Very nice new hotel"
Hotel is perfect for location, blocks away from Mill Ave and a quick scooter ride to Tempe Town Lake. Room was cozy and modern. View kinda sucled, but we weren't there for the view thankfully. Room kinda echoed when laying in bed, tho my husband said he couldn't tell. Has a mini fridge and coffee maker. Downfalls... nonice machine on 3rd floor. There should be one, I think they just haven't gotten it put in yet. We were excited to check out the roof top pool and bar, but they didn't have it open yet. Hotel has only been open a month so I guess those things were still in the works. Staff was awesome. Little Cafe in lobby, we didn't use, but smiled good, along with Maine Lobster. I'll have to check those out next time.
"Modern Hotel"
This hotel is really clean and has nice modern finishes/ updates. There is wireless phone charging, fast Wi-Fi and they provide a steamer instead of an iron which is much more convenient while traveling. Also a great location to the airport and places of interest in the area.
