Vīb Best Western Springfield

This hotel is in a great location. It has some nice basic conveniences for your stay. It is SUPER clean which is important to me. Parking is easy, and free. My problem was the noise from other rooms. YOU can hear the t.v.s on either side of your room and the people above you moving around. I did not eat there, but the food for lunch and breakfast looked good! There are lots of t.v.s in the lobby. There is a small, but clean workout room. It is very basic, but serves its purpose. The beds were comfortable, but due to the fact that I could not sleep because I could hear other guests due to the thin walls, I have to rate it lower.

The Vib is the only place we ever stay in Springfield, the beds are amazing, the room is always spotless, and the staff is friendly! We hope that we never have to stay anywhere else when we are in town!

Even though this hotel has a modern spin to it, it was overall very relaxing and comfortable. From the top notch, plush bedding and pillows, cleanliness, and warm staff, I'd recommend this hotel to anyone!

If you get the "signature room" you'll likely feel like you were just packed into a sardine can. You'll literally have to turn sideways to make it between the foot of the bed and wall and then the side of the bed as well. If a pillow fell from the bed, it would be touching the bed and wall at the same time. The bed was comfortable, but the room itself is cramped. It was clear that even the cleaning crew has problems cleaning between the bed and the wall with the dirt & debree that was still on the floor. The staff were nice, the bed was comfortable, but I'd stay somewhere I have room to turn around the next time I'm in Springfield.

Best Western has always provided a great place for me to relax and let someone else take care of me. The staff is always friendly and accommodating to whatever I need. It is great to have someone ready to make sure I have a great place to rest.

This is probably the nicest place I've stayed in and the rate was very reasonable. I'd definitely stay here again and would let others know about this place. They even had complimentary water for guests, which is nice on a warm day!

Gust services were very friendly and accommodating during my stay. The hotel was fresh, clean and modern. The gym full of new equipment and the laundry facilities were excellent. Definitely a nice place to visit on your next business trip to Springfield. Thank you Best Western and love the good Vib's. See you all in the future...

Hotel located in a nice area. The rooms are very tiny. and fairly clean. The floors needed to be mopped. The sleeper sofa wasn't cleaned and also small. Overall it would be a great place for a single person to unwind but not a family.

Live roaches were in my room. I got followed out to my car by a hotel worker (Preston?) To tell me "our hotel has never had roaches, so if you brought them with you, then you might want to clean yourself up.."

the employees were super nice, made me feel comfortable in the unfamiliar town. Loved the room, the bed was comfy. I loved the design of the room/bathroom. Sat in the lobby area and it was lovely. The wifi was quick and worked great for what I needed. Loved that I could work and still drink from whatever at the bar.

In town for family emergency. Vib gave us a discount. Room was clean beds was very comfortable. Staff was great. Only complaint bathroom is really small. The girls likes the fitness room. We enjoyed late night cocktails. They mints are great.

First time at VIB. I chose it due to the location of my work, I was pleasantly surprised. The staff all were helpful and pleasant and everything was clean. The restaurant on site was very convenient since the weather was terrible. I have already made my reservation for my next business trip.

WTF? Can they make KEYS that work? NO! Apparently not. Customer Service. What's that? Don't ask anyone here. And if needing ADA compliant— NOT RECOMMENDED Glad to be close to Mission Ballroom. But could they have cleared snow? Again, apparently not. This place SUCKS !!!

Rooms super small and showers have no privacy. You had to turn sideways to walk between the edge of the bed and the tv stand. The bathroom showers could be seen into from the main room and definitely not something you want with family with you. No breakfast included.

It is not equipped for a couple for a long stay. More focused for one per room, short stay. Not sure I would ever stay there again. Did not like the bathroom & shower viewable from the rest of the room.

Didnt think to write a review, as a stayed there a while back, but I remembered this and figured others should just be aware. Hotel had a very "hostel" type of appearance, which was unique. It was in a bit of a seedy area, based on some of the nearby establishments. Staff was nice. Major issue I saw was the glass restroom, where you can see someone taking a shower or using the toilet from the bed area- as in clear view (top of glass wall is not frosted in the slightest). The issue is, it's a surprise. This concept should not be present in rooms with two beds, as there could be multiple people staying there. I guess it's designed for couples. I stayed for business, so I was booked by our company. Sharing a room with friends or other business associates could have been pretty awkward, especially because it was so unexpected. For example, nobody would expect that if they pulled up the vinyl blind from the bed area they would be able to see their coworker showering! Shouldn't another set of vinyl blinds be on the inside of the restroom? Totally unnecessary concept, really. Consider completely frosting the bathroom and placing additional blinds inside the restroom and shower. Allow people to have complete privacy in such a private space.

The room was terribly cramped. I'm 6ft tall with a runners build and couldn't walk between the desk and bed without touching the bed. There are no closets and can only hang clothes on exposed hooks near the bed. In my case te ac/heat unit didn't work very well. The bathroom and shower were tiny no space for two people to be in the bathroom at once. The shower head and hot water were great. The shower wall is glazed glass so if someone is asleep once the light is turned on in the bathroom the light floods into the room directly on the sleeping area. Over all I'd say this was a poor experience for me and wouldn't stay there again. I was on the top floor and the external noise was a little louder than I expected. I should of known once I saw they provided ear plugs.

The ruins are small, the rooms are very noisy. I could overlook that if they would empty the trash when a guest checks out. I've stayed here 3 times and twice I've come into my room to find a full trash can from whoever stayed there before me.

Room was too small. 9 inches between foot of bed and HVAC unit. One person can get by for a night or two. You can stand in the living space and watch a second person use the toilet and shower. The area for clothes, sundry items, work space, etc is about 2 feet wide. I could not put on a shirt without knocking items over. OH, you have to lie in bed to watch TV. No mini fridge or microwave. It's been years since I stayed in a motel without both. New motel, built on the cheap.

Expected great things but not impressed. A New York City hotel room would seem large in comparison. Small rooms, no closet, transparent shower walls so light from the shower/bathroom shows in room,desk not really functional. Three-day reservation was messed up -- loud banging on door the first morning with shouting through the door that we had to get out because it was 15 minutes past check-out time. Good bed -- if just looking for a place to sleep, you will be satisfied.

I ended up here because of a fam emergency. The staff were so kind and went above and beyond to help me. The hotel was super clean, updated and safe. But the kindness is what I'll never forget. They were fantastic.

We stayed the night due to my daughter having surgery early the next morning and living farther away. I've never stayed in a Vib and this was a great first experience. The set up in the lobby and the decor in the room were great. The rainfall shower was an added bonus! We had a very quiet and easy stay.

A clean, friendly hotel with modern amenities. The USB ports and light dimmers were a nice and I especially liked being able to charge my electric car. Wish I could have stayed longer to enjoy the game system, fitness center and more evenings with live music!

The hotel is excellent in all respects. This should be the face of all future hotels in accommodations as well as staffing/service. The food preparation and the bar were really exceptional. The only aspect that was a bit of a negative was the traffic noise, but the location in the downtown area was perfect for accessing the events and restaurants that we wanted to visit.

This was the nicest Best Western hotel I have ever seen and it was the cleanest hotel (of any brand) that I have ever stayed at. The lights in the rooms have adjustable dimmers, which is very nice and something you do not see in other hotels...which makes it nice to leave a light very dim so that you can find your way to the bathroom if you wake up in the middle of the night.

I never would have considered a Best Western before. I researched where to stay close to our destination and found the Vib Best Western in Springfield. After reviewing photos and customer ratings I decided to book the overnight. I was pleasantly surprised at how sleek, modern, clean. Rooms were small, sleek, tidy with modern with concrete floors. Your plugs were provided. Hotel was nice. The staff were friendly and helpful And it was an excellent value ! Would definitely recommend for short stays.

My son and I stayed here while on a college tour. After a horrid experience at Holiday Inn in Jackson, MS, I was super nervous about another horrid experience. The hotel was CLEAN which is extremely important to me. The staff was super welcoming! The rooms were small and shower was a little unique but loved the cleanliness and staff. The only change I would make is to add a pool for the kiddos! I give it a 5 because you cannot beat cleanliness.

Clean hotel, no carpet so it didn't smell and good for people with allergies. Trendy features in room with lots of charging outlets, cool lighting and rainshower, no tub. Breakfast isn't included, but there is a restaurant in lobby with various hours offering made to order food and coffee. Hotel is located in a safe area with easy access to all major roads, but is not right on the highway which is nice. Many restaurants and ballpark are close.

This hotel is pretty OK, the rooms are on the smaller side there was no real desk to work at. Downstairs in the lobby there were always people at the bar and sitting around eating and drinking. My room was mostly clean, with the exception of my trash having used feminine products in them when I arrived. Had to go downstairs and ask for trash bags to empty it myself. The shower is nice, rainfall showerhead even though it's very, cozy? The whole room is fairly small I don't spend a ton of time in mine because I work all day when I'm out of town so that's all right. The real issue is the noise , they know it's noisy there were two sets of earplugs on the bedside table. The outside noise is crazy loud. But the inside noise is just as bad. You can hear everything through the walls, I was woken up at least two days out of four by someone's phone alarm in the rooms next-door because I could hear it that clearly. The bed was fairly comfortable and overall the hotel isn't bad I would probably stay again, hopefully with out having to take my own trash out.

After using Airbnb for my last few stays in Springfield, this was a great alternative as it was just a one night stay. Staff and amenities were above Standard and if you just want a quick bite to eat, then the Wheelhouse that adjoins to the Hotel, is an alternative to eating out. Food is great and reasonably priced for "Hotel" Food and a great array of Beers on Tap and a good Wine Selection too.

I stay at a lot of hotels travelling for pleasure and this is the first time I have entered a room and said out loud…”Cool Room”. Check-in was quick and easy, Natosha was a pleasure to talk to about the property. Room is very comfortable, nicely appointed, bright, and the bed was extremely comfortable. Granted this is a boutique kind of room and they used every inch of space to create a room for sleeping and little otherwise. I've stayed in much smaller rooms and this one was about right for a place to sleep and use your laptop. If I needed a place to spread things out and work for a few days the setup would not be optimal. The only negative for me and I discussed this with Natosha when I checked out was the rain shower. Because the shower stall is small, women might have issues with shaving or not wanting to get their hair wet…almost impossible to avoid the “rain” unless you shut the shower off. Otherwise I like the concept and am looking forward to BW having more properties like this throughout the US.

Stayed in this place because of its closeness to where I had a relative in the hospital. Rude and extremely unfriendly employees, ants on the walls, bedside table, & on my bed; baby cockroach on the desk. Reported it to housekeeping, thinking they would spray or something.....nope. Head of housekeeping said that she would tell maintenance about it when she seen them THE NEXT DAY. That's just 1 bad story. The ONLY good thing I can say was that the beds were surprisingly soft and very comfortable. I wont stay here again though. I will choose any other Best Western location.

Nice newer hotel. Staff was great and nice location. The issue was the main entrance since there were two exterior doors not aligned with the inner sliding door. For a walking person no problem. For my wife in a wheelchair it was difficult.

I was coming to Springfield on business and my client booked me at this hotel. From the moment I entered the hotel to the point I left, it was a fantastic experience!! I have travelled around the world and honestly didn't expext the hotel to be as great as it was. Vib is a new brand from Best Western...similar in many ways to Marriott's "aloft" brand. A very clean, vibrant feel to the hotel. The rooms are a little smaller but very nicely designed with a bed that was extremely comfortable! I was especially surprised by the food service on the main floor...fantastic and reasonably priced. The staff were all very polite and very service oriented. Overall, a great experienced and would not hesitate to stay at this hotel again.

This hotel was a great! We only needed it for 1 night and didn't have any issues. The room was a bit small, but that didn't bother us at all. We were only there to shower, change and sleep! All of the staff was very friendly! I loved the coffee bar and the little gifts they had for purchase.

Room was clean, the bar downstairs has a cool vibe. The rooms are very modern, the shower surround is pretty cool too. The lighting in the bathroom is on point as well. I would highly recommend booking here to anyone.

My partner and I recently stayed at the Vib for three nights. The experience we had was simply outstanding! The room we were assigned was small, yet had everything we needed. It was perfectly clean. The decor throughout the entire building was tasteful and trendy. The restaurant and bar was an excellent place to hang out. The fusion themed menu was unique, yet DELICIOUS and affordable. The servers are what made the atmosphere so special. We had dinner there one night, lunch the next day, ad a quick cocktail the next evening. All three servers were REMARKABLE! They were all so personable, fun and efficient. ANY dining establishment would be lucky to have them on their roster. We travel a lot and have come to the conclusion that it's tough for one place to tick ALL the hospitality boxes. This one did. BRAVO!

Spent a lot of money to stay here. NOISY!!! Traffic sounds…cars, motorcycles ambulances came into the room as if our windows were open. I complained to the staff and they said all rooms were like that!

The bar/lounge and the friendly servers is what makes this place. A great place to have a night cap or kill time if waiting. Rooms are clean and modern, minimalist style but provides everything needed.

Forget everything you've ever known about the best western name. This hotel is a true gem that shines among all options in the area. From from the lobby bistro bar to the rain shower bathrooms and the cushy king beds taking a break here is sure to never disappoint.

The entire place feels like a hospital, including the uncomfortable rooms. Shower is miserable, room is extremely small, you can hear every noise from other rooms and hall. The curtains don't block light so the room was lit up even in the middle of the night, making it impossible to sleep in late. The TV is mounted in the corner of the room so it's super awkward to try to watch TV in the bed and there's no where else to sit except the hard plastic chair in the corner that you literally can't sit in due to space. If you can ignore all of that, just wait until you use the restroom and everyone can hear and smell everything you're doing!

From the time I checked into VIB hotel it was amazing, the staff was friendly, and everything was so neat and clean! Didn't have any problems with anything! I advise anyone that's traveling make the VIB your Stay!!

Good cop/bad cop regarding the front desk. Snubbed when asking for the internet rate; however, helpful when I explained my phone was dead. The "good cop" immediately provided me with a charger kit. The TV remote did not work. Brought it to the front desk and "bad cop" informed me the batteries were good and it should work. "Good cop" offered to take a look. He returned and it worked that evening. The next morning it did not. The restaurant and bar are EXCELLENT in quality and service.

Very friendly staff. Nice hotel, modern, clean. I would recommend as a solo stay or couples. Or with someone you don't mind seeing nakey. ;-) I say this because the shower wall is also part of the bedroom wall and it is mostly see thru. The bed was comfortable and again everything was nice and clean. The room was small but, something I didn't notice until I left, is that there is drawers under the bed for your clothes/storage. There was not a closet but did have some hangers on the wall. The bad: this location had a lot of noise outside. I'm not sure what was going on but several times through the night I heard firetrucks/ambulances and also road noise. I could also hear a lot of noise going on in the hallway as well. Then again, it was a Saturday night and there was a party going on at the bar downstairs. I'm guessing some of those people were staying on the same floor. Overall, if this hotel was in a different location that wasn't so noisy, I would stay again.

Hotel was easy to find, well lit. Parking lot and entire property felt safe and secure. Hotel is very nice. Staff was super friendly. Everything was very up to date. Lobby had some great amenities allowing you to get out of your room but not ha e to leave the comfort of the hotel. Would definitely stay again.

I didn't mind the overall European style hotel however the shower was too small and had no choice but to always stand under the rain shower or use the wand with one hand as there was no way to turn the wand towards myself.

This property is a must stay if in Springfield. I will be on the lookout for more in the future. Overall I loved everything about it. Our room was small but worked well. Im sure they have bigger rooms. Great food and bar! Very nice large lounge area. There was live music, a gaming area for the kids and a great work out area. Staff was super!

This is the top of the line when it comes to Best Western hotels. The building was very modern, so were the rooms. I actually have never seen a hotel of this style before. Highly recommend staying here!

We were put up here by one of our vendors for a trade show and were expecting a typical BW…we were blown away by the upgrades! Great mattress, soft sheets, mood lighting, awesome shower, great amenities, Vibe of a Vegas hotel. Really enjoyed our stay. Not your typical BW.

The VIB Hotel is a great place to stay, we always stay at this property when we are in Springfield visiting family, or sometimes just for a little get-away or sometimes when just passing thru. It is very clean, the staff are are always friendly and helpful. It is always neat and clean and the beds and pillows are the most comfortable ever! We also injoy having the little bar and restaurant right there in the hotel.

Rooms are very modern and clean. Lobby is nice and open with lots of seating. There is heavy vehicle traffic on the surrounding streets, and I also experienced noisy guests at 1:00AM because my room was adjacent to the elevator. I'm not sure if I'll be back for a third stay.

Loved the modern feel of the lobby and common areas. Staff could use more training since we were given the wrong bill. Room was clean and bedding very comfortable with light dimmers. The downside was A/C was noisy, furniture configuration odd and did not like the shower.

Has everything you need. Very easy check in. Staff very friendly and gave tons of info. Room was on the smaller side. But very well set up and modern. Clean, quite and comfortable. Great Bed, good towels and just a good vibe in the room. Lobby has a really good restaurant & Bar with good food and pricing. Has guest laundry room that is free. Young lady at front desk offered laundry soap. Great Hotel, would stay here again, hope to see more BW's like this one.

Hotel was a concept hotel and quite interesting to stay in. Food was healthy options so not for fried food fans. Definitely worth staying for the experience. Also very close to tons of shopping places

We traveled up to Springfield from Brownsville Texas and stayed at the VIB Best Western on Sunshine St. First let me say that the outside appearance of the hotel is ultra modern. Check in was a breeze with courteous staff. The Lobby is clean and modern , very open plan concept. The rooms was totally updated with all the latest furnishings. Even the bathroom was sleek and full of style. This is Best Westerns Best IDea EVER. We most definitely will be staying here again. If anyone is staying in Springfield for any reason this hotel should be your first choice!

Very clean, nicely appointed but a little small. Very comfortable beds. Staff was efficient and friendly. Shower is a little small. Nicely located. Close to shopping and restaurants. Good parking. The continental breakfast was basic but nice considering COVID and all. Good coffee.

Room was easy to book. Clean. Very small compared to other places we've stayed. Just very noisy. Tile floors in rooms didn't help with noise. Rain shower head would have been nicer with more water pressure. Little weird having shower glass facing bedroom. Overall it was acceptable. The noise factor is the only reason for low marks. Staff was very friendly! Place was pretty clean too. Breakfast was limited so we did not get a chance to eat.

Small but effective rooms. Great use of space! There are two options for water flow in shower. Staff goes above and beyond. The Wheelhouse restaurant was a hidden gem!!!! Food is a Thai/Korean/Mexican infusion and it was amazing! Loved this née concept hotel for Best Western brands!

The Vib Best Western hotel in Springfield, Missouri is a very modern hotel that surpasses most others in terms of facility upkeep, modern amenities, and socializing opportunities. The rooms have a modern feel, and nothing in the building is going to leave you thinking facility upkeep is lacking. However, I do a lot of travel as an attorney and I like to start my day with a complimentary hot breakfast, the day's newspaper, and the news streaming on a tv. For the price you will pay at the Vib Best Western of Springfield, this certainly would help justify the surprising cost as opposed to more renowned places to stay (such as Hilton, etc). Here, there was no hot breakfast; rather, when you wake and proceed to the lobby you can expect to see a table with a few granola bars and a couple muffins strewn across it. I suspect the strategy is to prevent families from lodging here to abstain from children and elderly destroying the "Vibe" of modern youth; however, as a young professional this lack of amenities so accustom to the Best Western name will also prevent me, a millennial attorney, from also booking another stay at a Vib Best Western. In summary, the establishment is spectacular, and if you hate a warm breakfast and prefer to pay more for a room that has less amenities than those surrounding renowned establishments, this is the place for you.

Smaller hotel rooms for economy, but smart planning and very functional. Food is good at the restaurant. Everything is tidy and clean. Front door needs to be replaced/redesigned. Single wide door and offset with respect to the interior lobby door. Incredibly challenging for carts or wheelchairs.

The motel was very nice and clean. Hotel staff was very friendly. They have a bar and restaurant downstairs. It was very close to lot of things as far as food, shopping and entertainment. I will definitely be staying here again.

We arrived late evening and were greeted by Eden. We've been traveling since May second and by far Eden was the the nicest, sweetest hotel hostess of the trip. She was bubbly and friendly and as a bonus she gave us great room rate. We loved the hotel room with really comfortable beds and clean towels. We were checked out by Brooke and she also was also a pleasure to do business with. A win and a win! Noisey? Most hotels are located near major roads and highways or airports just accept it and go to bed.

Awful highway noise worst I have ever experienced! Hotel is cheaply built next to highway and staff doesn't warn you or care. If you stay don't get room next to highway! They were rude and stupid plus not empathetic! Will never stay again at a best western!

I would highly recommend staying. I was comfortable the entire stay. Atmosphere/ambiance was great. Guest services was phenomenal. Vib Best Western brings a superb level of comfort with awesome prices. I would definitely stay again.

While the decor is great the room was small. The desk is shoved at the foot between the bed and the wall. This iss where I spend most of my time while in the room. The staff is great except for a member of the night staff who goes around question and acting self entitled. Very uncouth. Also in all the stay was acceptable.

The room was tiny to say the least. No closet, just a couple of hooks & hangers on the wall beside the bed and no laundry bag. We heard traffic all night long so we didn't hardly get any sleep. The view out of our window was a strip club so cars were in and out all night. The shower was a little awkward, as it is glass and see-through and it is visible from the entire room and is right beside the bed. It did have a rain shower in it which was pretty cool. Other than that the only positive thing I can say is the bed was super comfortable and the staff was very friendly. Definitely not worth $150.

The location and orientation of the Vib means that if you have a western-facing room you will have a hard time sleeping. The hotel is situated next to a major intersection and it's as if every incel in Springfield with a lift kit, glasspack mufflers, and truck nuts loves to rev as loud as they can at the Glenstone and Sunshine crossing at all hours of the night. The hotel cannot necessarily help this, but crotch rockets and rolling coal 30 feet from the hotel are not what one thinks when a property is described as an "urban boutique hotel". This is a 3-star location with tiny rooms and -- as noted by other reviewers -- thin walls and loud neighbors. As long as you know what you're getting into and are a very sound sleeper then you will be fine.

Very happy we decided to stay here. Showers are super relaxing. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Rooms were very modern and comfortable. Breakfast was grab and go but it was always full with a variety of items.

Overall the hotel is awesome but I upgraded to a corner king room and the floor had not been swept in a VERY long time. It got all over the bed. It was gross but I survived. The front desk customer service was amazing!

To start this trip off a sign was given to me which I didn't respond to. Talked with front desk by phone and the lady was so rude and disrespectful. I'm sure the reviews of other guests were correct. This associate should be shown the door because she is surely in the wrong line of work. The walls of these rooms do hold back noise. I was continuously woke up. I checked on some of the noises and they were from people all the way done at the end of the hall. I would of sworn they were just outside my door. Then after 2a things were quiet enough to fall back asleep to be woke at 6a when people were leaving and I guess checking out. If a pin drops you will hear it.

This hotel has zero regard for people health or safety. - First- The the state of Missouri, and City of Springfield where this hotel is located is under mask mandate due to Covid, and in addition the hotel had a sign on their door stating "Masks are Required". However Multiple EMPLOYEES WERE NOT WEARING MASKS, to include maids, the cooks in the kitchen, and even the bartender serving people food and drinks. In addition most guest i encountered in the hotel were without masks but never did a staff member ask the guests to please put a mask on. -Second- I typically use the stairs because i like the exercise which is a good thing for me considering this "new" hotel had one of its 2 elevators out of service causing long wait times. An on one of my multiple trips up the stairwell i found that people were smoking in the stairwell. the odor was so strong that i could smell it from my room (granted my room was next to the stairwell door). -Third- My room had not been properly cleaned which was evident by the dirty used towel in the shower when i checked in. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone unless it was the only option.

This hotel is super cute and clean! Probably one of the most comfortable beds I have ever slept in! I travel a lot for work and usually avoid Best Westerns but I will be looking for more like this in the future!

My stay was absolutely outstanding. The staff was very pleasant and the food was great. The lounge was well kept and very reasonably priced. Their mango Chile margarita was awesome and went very well with the fish tacos. My room was very clean and functional. The shower was amazing and the beds extremely comfortable.

What a great hotel. After 16.5 hours on the road it was easy to check in and they accommodated my request with no questions asked. The room was so nice, loved the rain shower, and the beds were extremely comfy. The staff was knowledgeable and in light of breakfast needing to be modified, grab and go was easy and they had a nice variety. I would 100% stay here again and tell friends. The rooms had a sticker on the door showing it was clean, yes I had wipes and wiped down high touch surfaces but it was very clean already. I had to preteens with me and they enjoyed it too. Lastly I loved how well lit the parking lot was! I only had one night there but very glad I went with this hotel.

Hotel was nice and very clean. Customer service was pleasant and we got our reservations quickly. Lounge/restaurant area was relaxing. Service was great and staff were very accommodating. My daughter enjoyed the little gaming area which is definitely a plus for a parent! Room was clean and a bit small, but it was only a Queen bed and honestly enjoyed the stay. Bed was comfortable, and I loved the shower! I'd definitely like to stay here again in the future!

This hotel is clean and modern and the staff is fantastic. Our room, however, was less than ideal for more than one person. It was incredibly small, and the shower had glass walls which presented two problems: 1) no privacy, and 2) when you turn on a light in the bathroom the whole hotel room lights up. If you have an early riser that likes to get ready before everyone else, it's not going to happen without waking everyone up unless you shower in the dark. If you're traveling alone, this is obviously not an issue. Any other traveling scenario, however, this is a huge design flaw that makes for a less than ideal stay. Another issue we had was that the heat/air was incredibly loud and rattled all night long. This problem might have been unique to our room, but it definitely needed addressed.

The room was a little small but I was very impressed from the comforters to the service. They also had a tv and game station downstairs for teens which is marvelous to most tired parents and they had no problem giving the kids a custom breakfast bag with their choice muffins etc...

As a couple in our mid 60s, we're not the typical demographic that this hotel would normally cater to. It is modern European (think Ikea) but was clean, convenient, & safe. The bed was very comfy. Since it was close to a major intersection, there were emergency vehicles during the night so adjusting the fan to continuous helped. The shower was small-a bigger person would have difficulty with it. I also really like a strong stream of water but knowing that this was an energy saving model, understood the waterfall shower. Overall it was a great experience and we'll stay again!

Stayed here for over a month, and it's my favorite hotel. The staff are helpful and kind, the hotel is very clean and covid safe, and the gym is awesome. The Wheelhouse restaurant serves amazing food and drinks, and the employees are so welcoming and cool! The restaurant bar is a great place to meet interesting people, because it's inside the large, modern lobby. I met and fell in love with my honey there, and can't wait to go back today to see all my friends!!! 5-stars from me!

Nice new hotel in a great location for visiting Springfield MO. The lobby is "trendy" with a small cafe and a bar. If you're not comfortable walking through this type of area to get to the elevators, then you might not like the location. My only issue was the glass shower that stuck out into the bed area. It was a bit cramped and not good for anyone who wants a bit more privacy.

European decor, very clean! Due to Covid, no hot breakfast, but they did offer fruit, breakfast foods prepackaged and coffee. Very pleasant employees! The area where located less desirable, no pretty sites, but overall great stay!

Vib Best Western was amazing! I'm so glad we chose to stay here on our trip. The staff was extremely friendly, check in/out was smooth, and this was one of the comfiest beds I've ever slept on. The king room was cozy and the rain shower was neat, too. And you can't beat the price!

Efficient, contemporary, and comfortable rooms. I understand that this is a newer property and it obviously incorporates some features into the room that you don't find in older properties, like numerous USB ports, touch lighting at the headboard of the bed, Keurig coffee maker in room, safe, etc. etc.

The room exceeded our expectations. Very clean and upscale. We will definitely be staying here again. The only issue that we had was the noise coming from the room above ours in the morning, very loud stomping sounds from walking around.

Hotel was new, clean, with very comfortable and no carpet. Great price. Perfect! Until we took a shower... The hot water was only warm, at best. We showered in solid hot water and were still cold afterwards. Hotel was new and clean but the run down looking strip club across the parking lot looked shady. Contrary to what the pics show, the shower isn't not see through. It's frosted and only shows a silhouette from the room side. In case anyone else was wondering!

The Vib Best Western is part of the new wave of smaller, modern looking hotels that offer smaller, compact rooms that offer all the function of their larger, bigger sister hotels. The room was clean, fresh and filled with necessities for a comfortable stay. However the location of this hotel is terrible based on how close it is to the street and the fact the street is 1/2 block from a main intersection which is used by all emergency vehicles. Last night it sounded like there was a major crisis as I heard sirens all night. Second negative of the new style hotel are built with poor quality materials and the sound from room to room is loud. The fact that they could have used better sound blocking windows and walls was evident. The positive parts of the hotel is the great lobby, clean, bright, friendly staff and a great food venue with a bar that gives guest a full service hotel feel. Good gym and good open spaces. Bed was supper comfortable and the addition of a Kurig in each room is a bonus over the badly needed updated coffee machine from history. First time I had a good cup of Joe in a hotel room ever. Price was great but the location lends itself to lots of road noise, other guest noise and a long night.

We loved our overnight stay at the VIB during our week long road trip. It really stood out from all the other hotels that we stayed in along the way. Hotel staff was great. Check in was easy. Very modern and comfortable room! Loved the whole "vibe" of this hotel.

We discovered this hotel during the Covid-19 shut down and fell in love the minute we walked in the door! We will stay here every time we are in Springfield! Staff is so friendly and accommodating! Our room was spacious, comfortable and beautifully decorated!

I had significant doubts before I checked in. I am pleased to report the staff and my stay was great. I am very satisfied. Very clean, perfect for single travlers or couples, even small family. We went out of our way to visit this hotel since it is the only of the Best Western brand in the US! Modern, urban, minimal feel this is an excellent hotel with excellent service and staff. Rooms are smaller European style but plenty big for our family of 5. Beds were amazing! TWo Gaming stations in the lobby where our son played xBox. Free parking. Great small workout room. Restaurant in lobby (was not open when we were here due to COVID)

My wife and i stayed here on night. The room was small with no sitting area or chairs other than a desk chair. However, the room did meet our needs and we had all we needed. Clean, neat, comfortable and the hotel appeared to be well cared for and all in good working order. We would stay here again as the location is convenient to where we wanted to be.

Rooms were clean. Great caring staff. Very customer oriented atmosphere. Great location. Easy to walk for dining or entertainment. The only barrier was that we were still in a semi lock down state so could not use all amenities. Will stay again in the near future.

The hotel was very neat and modern. The bar and restaurant was a relaxing atmosphere and alot if variety on the menu. The only complaints were we could here everything going on in the room above us, the street noise, and there was a tissue (wadded up kleenex that wasnt ours) in the clean towels . The staff was very nice

I picked this hotel because it was the newest property close to Battlefield Mall. It's definitely a different vibe than some hotels. Very industrial. Check in went smoothly although the desk is just kind of stuck over in the corner of the restaurant and bar, which I thought was odd. Rooms are small, which was ok for just my 18 year old son and I but a family would be super cramped. I liked not having carpet and everything was clean. I had read reviews about the shower being exposed to the rest of the room, but it looks like they fixed that with a shade you can pull down. The glass shower wall is actually the wall next to the bed. Could have been awkward with my son without the shade. The bathroom is pretty small with not a lot of counter space. Beds looked like they were going to be really soft and comfortable, but they slept pretty hard. My only real complaint is the walls must have absolutely no insulation in them because you can hear every single noise from the surrounding rooms. Every toilet flush, every shower running, every cough and sneeze. I got a good rate on the room and it was convenient to everything. Not sure I would pick this one again, but for one night it was fine.

Everything about the look and feel of the place, as well as the staff was great. My only complaint was excessive noise from the street. We could hear every vehicle all night. The staff was excellent, the corner room was discounted, so i can't really complain, but in the interest of making a better experience, some major sound proofing is in order!

When exploring hotels the things people most look for are the quality and price. I can tell you right now that VIB is all that and above! The employees are not only truly kind but are very helpful with anything you need. The place is clean and perfect for that comfort outside of home! We all know nothing is better than the comfort of your own home but VIB makes that possible! Short stay or long stay I fully recommend this hotel for the family, business trip, and etc. Accessible to Springfield attractions and amazing food right in the lobby with The Wheelhouse!

We stay here every time we visit Springfield, it is a great value and the hotel is new, clean and nicely decorated. The wheelhouse is a great restaurant/bar inside the hotel and we've never had any issues with checkin our out. We usually get to check in early which is a huge convienence. Love the Vib and would stay in other cities!

Very clean. Nice people working there. Small Restaurant employees were very nice too. We had a medical appointment and the weather turned sleet/ice/freezing rain, easy access to entrance and personnel were very good to get us right in

Absolutely horrible. The glass shower enclosure IS the wall between the tiny room and the bathroom and there is NO fan. If you like doing acrobatics, you're in luck. You must be spry to get around the bed. AC/heat is on one side at the foot of the bed so one person stays cold, one hot. They could have szz as bed some money by not putting in a bathroom door. I mean, really, what's the point. If the lights on in the bathroom, the whole room is lit up. If you don't care a lick about privacy while you're in the bathroom, this is the place for you!

I traveled to Springfield for business. I loved my stay at the Vib. The staff was wonderful. The food from The Wheelhouse was outstanding. I highly recommend anyone traveling to Springfield to stay at the Vib.

I'm local here in Springfield and got the opportunity to stay here for a night! I was super impressed after walking through the door! It has an amazingly modern and luxurious feel to the hotel and the lobby is great! The Wheelhouse restaurant in the lobby is a sweet addition as well! The rooms are very nice! Beds are soo comfortable and the shower is awesome! I would absolutely recommend this hotel to anybody traveling to Springfield, or if you're local and need a night away! 5/5! Will definitely be staying here again soon!

You could not find a smaller room. Anywhere. The shower wall IS the wall between the room and bathroom and it's glass. There's no fan in the bathroom. Everyone can hear and see everything. So, if someone is trying to sleep, and someone turns the bathroom light on...VIOLA!...the whole room is an interrogation room. You can see right into the whole bathroom through the shower. I questioned why they even put a door on the bathroom. The ac/heat unit is on one side, and you have to do acrobatics to get around it to the other side of the bed. Someone freezes, the other sweats. There's about 6inches of space to get around the foot and far side of the bed. There's nowhere to sit, unless you want to sit at the squished in office chair which is directly behind the bed. Very, very strange. If you are a private person and sharing this room, you may very well succumb to a panic attack. Whoever designed this should find a different line of work. It was clean, but hey, so are freshly delivered ports-potty's. The lobby is like a warehouse including concrete unfinished floors. There is a bar like restaurant and there were half a dozen people eating what smelled like tasty food. The free breakfast I saw was a few bananas and possibly cereal. I drank a glass of OJ and cup of coffee, which were good. I did not sleep a wink, and highly DO NOT recommend this hotel.

Make sure you don't leave anything at the hotel. They ship it back without providing any kind of tracking (I paid for tracking and ins) Now I have to spend hours trying to track down my package, which will be virtually impossible without a tracking number. Rooms are small and the street noise is loud...walls are thin, could hear snoring from next door

Was definitely surprised with my stay here. Traveling for business and practically every other hotel in Springfield was booked. This one had availability so I figured I would give it a try! I had never heard of Vib by Best Western before - I am glad I've now had the experience. The hotel is essentially brand new. It is extremely modern, inside and out!! The lobby and restaurant area is beautiful and a fun lay out. They have a tablet work station in the lobby to assist with travel checkin and business they also have a couple of TVs and gaming console stations for your use. A fire place and lounge area is right next to the bar! The fitness center wasn't too big but it still had the majority of the necessities. Rooms are very nice, again, modern. Cool lighting! The beds were comfy with ample room. Shower had the rainfall head which is a nice touch! Staff was friendly and accommodating. I definitely recommend checking out this new hotel. You won't be disappointed!

I found this motel online and reserved a room because it said it was new. I did not check the reviews on TripAdvisor first. We checked in on November 12. There were hairs & dirt, on the shower floor, bathroom is large, but the shower very small. We wanted ice and found on the ice bucket chewed gum that someone had placed on the lid. We could not stand the glaring inverted Fluorescent Tube neon yellow "L" light in the room, from ceiling to floor. There was a 2" hook to hang our clothes. We called front desk to come see the room condition. He came, took photos, said this was the first time he had ever seen chewed gum stuck on ice bucket. He said he would send the photos to the manager. He offered us another room. He said "ALL” of the rooms had the inverted Fluorescent Tube neon yellow "L" in corner, this was not relaxing for us. We asked for a refund, he understood, it was given. If you want to relax this is not for you. Extremely modern, a counter to plug electronics in is the main function, no lighting to read magazine, etc.

1) The basic king room is not practical for two people. Counter space consists of a desk area that is a little deeper than a magazine's length, 6 hangers on a couple of wall hooks that are too low for long clothes (I used the bathroom towel hook and shower rod), two under bed drawers, a small bench that I guess you could put one suitcase on, and two wire baskets. The bottom basket doesn't pull out because it is blocked by the bench. The bench is under the clothes hooks so your clothes would hang into your suitcase if you put it there. The room has one chair. 2) I wanted to notify staff when I left for the day that the room was available for cleaning. The door tag seemed to mistakenly have two tags stuck together, with "No Thanks" (privacy) on the outsides and "Yes Please" on the inside. I peeled them apart and hung it with the "Yes Please" side showing. Apparently I wasn't supposed to do that, because while I was gone the tag was replaced on the doorknob with another stuck-together one, with "No Thanks" on both sides. My room didn't get cleaned.

My husband and I stayed here for the first time. We were very pleased to see such an active “community” area when we first walked in. The food at the bar was great. Wonderful hospitality. The rooms were extremely clean and so well designed for space efficiency. It was a fun treat!

We had a wonderful room with a lot of space and amenities. The room and bath were exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We really enjoyed our stay with the only exception being our room faced the busy street of Sunshine. We could hear every car, truck, motorcycle and siren. When I told the manager about it she said they are contacting the contractor about more insulation in the windows. If they get those fixed there are no complaints at all from us. The lady who checked us in was exceptionally helpful and friendly.

This hotel is beautiful! Very clean, I am super impressed. I work at a hotel as well so I'm very very picky when it comes to me staying at other hotels. I have no complaints about my room. The hotel is most certainly geared towards a younger crowd but was perfect for what my husband and I was staying for. The room is a little small but I don't see any issues with that as long as your not staying for an extended period of time. Drawers under the bed for your clothes which is super nice not having a big bulky dresser in the way. The shower is amazing. Nothing to worry about, you can not see into the shower from the room. They think of everything, very impressed with the shampoo, conditioner and body wash pumps in the shower instead of little bottles. They have a vanity kit which includes cotton swabs, pads and a nail file. I could go on and on about how much I love this place. When i first walked in it was a little confusing because the bar area is the main focus and front desk is very little area. No complaints from me though! We loved it and will be back in the future!

No privacy in the bathroom, due to it being glass! You can hear every tinkle in there! Wake everyone up at night if you go in there and turn on the light. Hated this new room concept. Always liked Best Western Plus, will never stay in a VIB again.

This hotel is for "hipsters". It's all designed around social mingling and technology. No separate entrance for guests apart from restaurant so it's crowded. No overhang for inclement weather when arriving. No night stands for each side of bed or none at all. Limited space so don't bring a lot of luggage.Our toilet was not working and we were not 'comped' or discounted for inconvenience of moving . Had to ask for that. Then, only received rate for smaller room.

Really impressed! The look and feel is very industrial/high tech, but at the same time, very comfortable. The bed and pillows were wonderful. Loved the rainfall shower. At first glance, I thought the set up was odd, but soon fell in love. The bar downstairs had very friendly staff. Will definitely stay again.

Every aspect of my stay was phenomenal!! The appearance of the hotel, inside and out, is more trendy loft/apartment than hotel. The lounge/ downstairs and mezzanine is a very inviting area to meet other guests and new friends! The rooms are extremely modern and very very comfortable. I must say, the bed is more comfortable than mine at home. I travel often for work and I will most certainly go out of my way to find a Vib hotel on all my upcoming trips. I couldn't be happier with my stay. A++++

It was an unplanned trip, to visit a friend in the hospital. Very stressful to find a hotel so late and at a reasonable rate. Wish I had more time to enjou the room and hotel but really just there for 5 hours of sleep. Room was clean, modern, and I love the garment steamers. Didn't use, but would have for a work trip.

The hotel was very nice and modern, the King bed room is very small, honestly only 1 person could be in there. The bathroom was weird as the shower was all glass and you could see thru while showering and going to the bathroom. It would be weird to share with a friend and child.

Love the environment, staff and experience. Comfortable bed. Clean, modern and inviting on all levels. I will stay here during mybtrips to Springfield going forward which is 25 nights a year. Don't dismiss this property or you are missing out.

This is a fabulous hotel. When I come to Springfield I always stay here. The rooms are so modern and nice, and the lobby/restaurant is so warm and inviting. I couldn't ask for anything more on my weekend stays.

The modern styling of the room makes it tiny and cramped. The service was terrible at best. None of the amenities were available of functional. It was very noisy and I hope you enjoy showering in cold water with an audience.

I loved this place. It's pretty new. The front desk gentleman, (Seth I think), brought up towels within 2 minutes of me asking at 3am! The morning lady was really nice too. She asked me about my stay. Very conversational. Overall, amazing place. Will stay again.

We booked last minute on Labor Day weekend so the hotel being busy was expected. We didn't mind the smaller room as we got in late and we were leaving in the morning. What we didn't expect was to hear our next door neighbors when we got in our room. Then again at 230am. Also lots of hall traffic noise at that hour. Young people getting in from something would be a guess. Then the next morning around 7am heard the neighbors on the other side discussing there plans for the day. I would just request a room away from the others, if possible. I didn't know to do this. It is a nice hotel and I hate to leave this review. But I also like my sleep.

The restaurant attached to this hotel serves breakfast,lunch and dinner.They even have a relaxing atmosphere with a bar and a family area for kids.The staff is fabulous and proud of the menu. I ordered blueberry pancakes made from scratch!!!(not a mix) with maple syrup and bacon.I was sad when I ate the last bite.They have all fresh ingredients.The coffee is fresh barista worthy. Now the hotel,a new product for Best Western and I will tell you ,out of all my travel in the U.S this year,my stay at Vib was my favorite.The materials used in the hotel gives you a clean and spotless room!A comfortable crisp room is what everyone wants to walk into.

So I guess this is supposed to be the new, younger crowd type of stay. A family would go into cabin fever mode! My only wish is that the architect/designer had to have spent a week in it. You turn around and hit your elbow on something.... This has the square footage of a Microtel. The bathroom is a joke also. Sink crammed into a corner with little counter space. Shower? another joke. Guess you might say, I was pretty happy with my stay.

This place was a very nice surprise find on my recent trip to Springfield. Super East-Central location, very clean and well appointed rooms with a Modern European “vibe”! I loved the Boho feel to the morning menu!

The room was incredibly small, with zero water pressure from the waterfall shower head. It was new and clean, but it's obvious by the food and music playing that they are aiming at millenials/hipsters, and not seasoned travellers.

Really liked the feel of the hotel. Very modern, sleek, and upbeat. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The rooms are small and more than one person might be uncomfortable. The amenities are a cut above so if you like to be pampered, this is the place for you.

This is a classic design example of form over function. The hotel is clean, colorful and modern, but the king bed room layout is the most crowded and impractical I've seen in many years. There is barely room between the walls and the side and foot of the bed to walk. The desk space is only about one foot deep, and there is almost no place to put luggage or hang clothes. The glass shower walls are open to the rest of the room. There was no refrigerator in the room. Breakfast is not included in the room rate. In summary, I was really looking forward to staying here, but greatly disappointed in the room layout and lack of space. I would not stay there again, or recommend it to others.

This hotel lives up to the hype! So out of character for Springfield and not your typical “cookie cutter” hotel. The staff was great. The restaurant/checkin experience is unique. While the rooms are small they are amazing! Keurig, clean and comfortable. One of the nicest workout rooms. The only thing I didn't like was the shower. The handheld was nice but I'm not a fan of the rain shower head in the ceiling. I like the simple traditional shower head. Great stay and will definitely be staying again!

Had a great time in Springfield, the hotel and staff were a big part of our enjoyment. Coming back to the hotel after a day of sightseeing was very relaxing. Breakfast in the morning was a great start to our day.

I travel to Springfield Mo for business once a month and have being doing so for over 12 years. I have stayed at most of the hotels in town. Now I choose Vib in Springfield every time I go! The rooms are absolutely amazing, the restaurant is delicious and the staff is the friendly staff in town!

this is a new style hotel where the rooms are smaller and geared towards the younger traveler who uses the room to sleep and not hang out in. the beds were great and I'm not used to such a tight space. also, the shower is all glass even into the room which can be a little disconcerting at first but there is frosting. the hotel let us use the mezzanine for a poker game and the bar stayed open later than normal. didn't try the food so cant say how it was.

This hotel is very new and has an extremely modern decor. The rooms are very nice with all of the latest furnishings. The lobby/restaurant area is equally modern and very open with high ceilings and plenty of natural light.

This hotel far exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, customer service, amenities, and the building itself is so modern and beautiful. We will definitely be staying here for all of our future trips to this area. On top of the beautiful hotel, the restaurant in the lobby has amazing food and very friendly staff.

We booked trough Priceline ‘s Express Deal. So we were a little apprehensive of what to expect but were pleasantly surprised with Vib. It is a nice little boutique hotel. PROS: Location, clean and modern lines, restaurant in lobby (food smelled delicious and guest seemed to enjoy it!), had different board games in the lobby for the kids and family to play with, even had a PS4 in one of the several TVs; sexy European rooms, rooms were very clean and neat, bed was mega comfortable, front desk was very accommodating and helpful, gym was small but nice, superb customer service!!! CONS: rooms were very small, more convenient for couples or a solo business trip, no Pool

I love the feel of the hotel and it was extremely clean. The room was really small and the shower so small that it was comfortable to use. Simply a poor design. But given choices at this price point, this is the best option. Note: There is a strip club on the parking lot.

VIB is an excellent hotel. Their staff always greet you with a smile and make you feel welcomed. The rooms at this hotel are clean. Love the style of the rooms and the beds are extremely comfortable. Since the first time I stayed here I no longer stay anywhere else.

Where to start. The good. Hotel was clean, very modern, and what staff I came in contact with were all friendly and helpful. The in house restaurant, the Wheelhouse, is a food truck moved indoors. That being said, the food is delicious, interesting, and all locally sourced. I would recommend eating there for a quick bite. The not so good. The rooms are very small and pretty basic for the $179 a night I paid. This is not a family hotel, the main reason being is that the shower is kind of frosted glass that is visible from the room. I would of not felt comfortable taking a shower if I'd of had kids staying in the room. The hotel is on busy street, engine noise, and drag racing motorcycles until 2 am make it hard to sleep. This would be a great hotel for young couples in town for a concert, or bar hopping with friends.

The hotel is new and very modern and sleek. Very close to alot of restaurants. Great showers! Loved the room colors. The food options were good. No free breakfast at this location though. Safe area. I would stay here again.

Came here from Kansas City and Trevor checked me in. He was above and beyond accommodating to my ridiculous request the entire night. Hard to find decent service these days but this guy was fantastic. Next time I stay in Springfield for business i'll be staying at VIB and asking for Mr. Trevor. Thanks again VIB team.

In town for an event with family and decided to try this new hotel. It's extremely updated, modern, and really fun. When I saw my teenagers eyes light up I knew I had done a good job of picking. There's actually a video game system in the lobby that patrons are free to play. The restaurant it's small but cute and our breakfast was delicious. Very farm to table. The cost was reasonable for the security, cleanliness, and modern feel. I highly recommend!

This ViB Best Western was a super clean and friendly hotel. Fresh friendly modern surroundings with excellent staff. The place is SUPER CLEAN, yes I said super clean. When was the last time you couls say that about a hotel?

We were rented the smallest room I have ever seen. The amenities were zero. The shower was made for a child and the 'closet' consisted of two hooks with small hangers on them! This room was the size of a bedroom in a camping trailer. It was miserable

Great hotel. Close to hospital, MSU campus and an easy drive to just about anywhere in Springfield. The Wheelhouse restaurant in the lobby is exceptional - really outstanding. The rooms are a little funky and non-traditional. My only complaint is with the soap/shampoo/conditioner dispensers in the shower (no bathtubs). Also, you can take care of your wife (if you know what I mean) but don't yell too loud at the kids, because noise does travel in the halls of this hotel! This is a great property and we will definitely stay there again.

Clean, clean, clean room. The bed was amazingly comfortable. They had FOUR pillows each bed. Loved the shower. The staff were all professional and polite. Did I mention how clean the place is??? The price per night was good. The only drawback was the traffic noise but I could easily sleep.

If you can handle hanging your clothes on the wall, or the shower not being totally private, draping your towels on anything you can find, squeezing by the ends of the beds (you have to move the chair) with your suitcase since there's nowhere else for luggage, putting your own shower items on the floor since there's nowhere in the shower to place anything including a facecloth, then you'll love the Wheelhouse restaurant, the hotel staff, the newness of everything and the fun, modern theme of the lobby. The food is excellent!

We were staying at a hotel nearby that were experiencing safety issues and I was no longer comfortable staying there with my sons. I saw the sign for Vib and gave them a call. Jeff, the manager, took my call and was MOST accommodating in every way, even searching to find me the best price. My sons and I were AMAZED at the kindness of the staff and their willingness to help. The cleanliness was top rated and was a hotel we snuggled into, not carefully removing the comforter for fear of what it carried. I will most DEFINITELY plan to stay at VIB on our return trips to Springfield! I WAS a bit uncomfortable in the shower that was slightly transparent to the rest of the room, and I expected breakfast to be included, but I could never complain. A very modern, clean, safe environment that we thoroughly enjoyed. We are already looking forward to another stay!

The beds were some of the best I have slept on, the rooms were very nice. We would have preferred to know about the glass shower that is open to the room. Probably not describing it correctly, but it is a glass enclosed shower with a design on the bottom & open at the top. Very modernisitic looking however I was with husband & my BFF. We had to leave the room while she showered. You truly couldn't have seen anything, but she was self conscious about it. The hotel is very modern & looks like they thought of everything. I did think the food was pretty expensive & my husband said it was a really good breakfast. Breakfast is not included in your stay. We thought it was when we booked. Staff was excellent.

We had previously stayed at Lamplighter Inn & other hotels while coming down for Greater Ozarks Open bowling tournament every year. We really liked the design of the new hotel & the location of where it is compared to what we do while we are there

Great hotel, for today's travelers. Clean, modern and great beds. Greeted immediately and wanted to know if we had any additional needs. Hotel lobby was busy with guests enjoying the atmosphere. Smell of foid from Wheel House restaraunt was wonderful. Very clean from elevators to hallways. Love all the room's modern amenities. Bed was very comfortable and shower was very warm with the raindrop shower heads. Great in room coffee bar. Will be back for sure. Had to change our reservations becauae of impending snowstorm. No problem.

First class- modern and hip. Has all of the necessary items one would need for a stay. There is no pool or spa but that didn't matter to us on this stay. King size room was small but well laid out. We will be back.

This was my first time to stay at the Vib since their opening. It's very convenient for work and is so nice. It's modern, clean, pretty, comfortable and overall just a great place to stay. The Wheelhouse that serves food here was sooo good. Everything I tried was delicious.

First room I was in, the bed was NOT clean. Multiple nasty hairs! They switched rooms and issued a $10 voucher. We got 2 sodas before we left when we checked out, voucher was not showing so I told the cashier what had happened and there should be a credit on our room. I looked at my bank account 5 days later and I was charged more than what my reservation confirmation (that I have in writing and it did include their taxes and fees) shows and that 5th day after being gone, my account showed I was also charged for my drinks that were purchased because of the voucher. I felt like they were taking care of things appropriately when I had the problem the first day, but 5 days later seeing all the overcharges gave me no faith in this company. She issued the credit for the drinks when I called, but made no attempt to correct the original room charge. Also, make sure your with your spouse or someone you're very comfortable with since you can see straight into the bathroom (including the toilet) from the shower, which is all glass and is part of the room wall.

Great place!! Our room was perfect. Staff was friendly, helpful during our stay. Exercise room is amazing, the lobby looks great as well. We are looking forward to another stay there. Definitely worth the night away.

We had a really great time here! My boyfriend surprised me with a night at VIB. We really enjoyed the environment and our room was wonderful. It's not just your average plain hotel, this one is really cool!

My wife and I stayed here in December. It was a great experience all around. The staff was very polite and helpful. Room had everything we needed. WiFi was the best I've had. We were able to stream Netflix no problem. I would suggest this property for anyone looking for an affordable hotel.

My husband and I stayed here for Valentine's Day. Perfect location and perfect room. The hotel was very clean and inviting. The front desk staff was amazing. This will be the place I stay when I'm in Springfield. Very satisfied!

The modern, green, and clean touches were much appreciated. Love the floors - the "ick" factor regarding hotel carpets is eliminated, and I wish other hotels would follow suit. Felt very comfortable with the room and its preparation for guests. Décor is boutique and unique - really different! Loved the local touches in the pictures. Great utilization of space and function. The Asian flair at the restaurant was very tasty. Unbeatable location. And, plenty of USB ports. At last! A hotel that "gets it" and delivers on all counts.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time when visiting family and the hotel is very impressive. The modern style was very cool to see in Springfield. The rooms are a little smaller than other hotels that we've stayed at but that was very minor compared to all of the other amenities that we enjoyed while staying there. The location to everything was awesome, very easy to get just about anywhere in town!

I live in the city but have stayed here. Being a local I know its in a good location, middle of town, five minutes from mall and maybe ten to downtown. I have done everything from eat at the restaurant (time and time again SO good) in the lobby to workout in the gym and it was all honestly just great!! People say in the review the showers are 'see through' but its bad at all in my opinion, who ever you're staying with would have to be looking for whatever they would see. The room sizes are small but I didn't have any problem storying clothes and camera gear! Will be back again and again.

I hate to post negative reviews but this is a nice clean, new modern hotel But the rooms are the smallest I have ever seen. No closets for clothes. New but small and cheap. Not set up at all for business traveler. Floors are concrete or vinyl plank. Service was good but just a small cheap hotel priced above market. My advice is to just pass on this one.

The Vib Best Western in Springfield is a new hotel and exceeded expectations. The décor, lobby, staff and rooms were better than expected. There are healthy food choices at the restaurant and the bar has large screen TVs for watching sports. Rooms are nicely decorated and spacious.

no one at front desk the 2 days we were there except morning of checkout. Waited 10 minutes then had to ask bar employee where Not a family orientated hotel. No microwave's in room to warm anything up.

I don't even know where to begin. It's technically a 2-star hotel on Google, but it is way better than any other 2-star I've stayed at. We'd been driving 13 hours across the country and purposely pushed on so we could stay here and we have no regrets. Price was comparable to others around it. The lobby is really nice and clean. Even the lobby bathroom smells like a spa. The room was nice and Wi-Fi was fast. The walls are pretty soundproof. After all that travel, the waterfall shower and SUPER comfy bed were godsends. The staff was friendly and the food was good. Breakfast isn't included but is very reasonably priced for the quality. I didn't want to leave.

Everything was excellent! Staff was friendly even those working on the floor. The room was wonderful. Very modern and sleek. The bed was comfortable, slept like a baby. And bonus they have a restaurant down by the lobby area. There were board games to play as well.

This hotel is not for everyone. Best for single travelers. If you like new concepts and modernism this hotel is for you. VIBe is an appropriate name. Bed was SUPER comfortable. Bathroom concept very unusual but cool nonetheless. All glass shower, partially opaque centered to room. If traveling as couple, room will get brighter as partial see thru into actual room. Some will like, others will not. Good use of smaller space. No closets, just storage bins. Lobby eatery/cafe is open, modern and friendly space.

-One of the coolest looking hotels I have stayed in! It has a very modern feel with a vibrant touch! -Fantastic staff! They were all very helpful and friendly; I even got a tour! -Cool pictures of different places in Springfield are hung throughout the hotel. -I had a corner room and there was plenty of room for a one night stay. The room's decor and design felt futuristic, and my room had a great view. The shower took a bit of getting used to as it feels exposed to the room, but the overall feel of the room made up for it. -The Wheelhouse restaurant in the lobby makes an excellent breakfast! I will be back! Oh, and I loved the Xbox station.

Room is great shower is great overall experience was great each time I've been. The beds and pillows are by far the best! Everyone smiles and helps. Place is clean and simply the top hotel I've stayed at.

Our room was incredibly small and cramped. Much much smaller than any standard room we've stayed in the US and we travel a lot. Luckily we did not have full size suitcases, but even still with two of us using 24" carry-on bags, we could not access our stuff at the same time unless we put the dirty suitcases on the bed. And we could only utilize four of the hangers on the wall (no closet) since the lower ones were far too close to the ground (about 18") and the bench (about 10") on which I presume we were suppose to put out luggage. They provided a steam wrinkle remover, perhaps with this problem in mind, but that is just extra work, not time saving or added convenience. The bathroom has only about 12-15" or so of counter space and there are no hooks or ledge of any kind to put your shower things on. The water pressure was like a soft rain, which is nice and relaxing, but not good for rinsing off soap. Basically,the room layout and function doesn't deeply consider human factors the way other hotels do. Rather than turning to say, wow wasn't that clever, we were constantly trying to figure out how to get by. Instead of staying the night we left at 2am after the event we were attending finished up and we just drove home. Honestly, we just didn't feel like waking up there the next day and trying to get ready in that weird cramped space. I went back and read other reviews after and I see that the hotel recommends things like - "hang out in the lobby," and "send your kids downstairs to play video games while you shower," but I'm not sure any of these solution solve the problems we had of just being two people trying to get ready for an event (nor are they entirely safe if you ask me, but having little ones was a decade ago for me, perhaps times have changed).

Overall this is a nice hotel. I travel to Springfield often for basketball games and have stayed at a few different hotels, this time decided to try the Vib. There are Pros and Cons! Pros: The staff was amazing, very friendly and welcoming. Bed was extremely comfortable, very modern decor and feel. Food at the open restaurant was very good and not expensive. Alot of usb plugs all over. Love the steamer instead of iron, really protects clothes. Location is great, very close to Battlefield Mall and restaurants. Cons: Very difficult to travel with children because the top of the shower is see-through. i really don't want my above average height children getting a shock seeing their parent in the shower or on the commode. This can be fixed if the hotel covers the top with the opaque covering they use at the bottom. Room is small but adequate, do miss not having a closet. Overall, this is the direction of most hotels now and really the pros outweigh the cons.

Poor security, open restaurant and bar in the lobby. Rooms are extremely small. And loud! The shower is just strange, cant believe they would put that in a hotel room. No pool or hot tub. Guess we should've looked closer before we booked! A lot of people say it's a modern feel, this day and age they can come up with something better!!

The rooms were comfortable,a little different from your typical hotel room,no closet ,one nightstand but lots of plugs and USB ports . The steamer instead of an iron was great and the dispensers in the shower with your shampoo.conditioner and body wash was a plus . There is no carpet so the sound carries a little more,but overall I would stay again

This relatively new hotel has a sleek lobby and new furnishings and new deli type restaurant. Very clean great location staff friendly. My room was very nice but small,i am sure there are bigger ones. The hotel could be a bit quieter but that probably is how it was built . All in all for the area a very nice 3.5 star hotel that i would recommend for business or personal use . The fitness area is very nice as welll. very open lobby.

I have stayed in several hotels during my vacations and travel. ViB Best Western was by far, the most up to date and modern hotel. The location was fabulous, easy to travel to with lots of options for food and shopping close by. The bar and grill part was very clean, open, and could feel the positive environment as soon as I walked through the doors.

completely dissatisfied with the service and amenities the hotel provided for us. We received a bloody comforter when we asked for extra blankets and pillows. The room was advertised as a king suite and the bed was at most a queen sized bed. False information.

Vib (long "i" , so pronounced VIBE), is a really neat modern approach to hotels. The lobby is fun, contemporary, well lit, and exciting. There are game stations all around, really cool bar and eatery, and a cool vibrant "vibe". The rooms are reasonable in rate, small is size, configured a bit awkwardly in some places, but really modern and different. The bed was extremely comfortable and they have a steamer instead of an iron which we really appreciate. Staff was really nice and really enjoyed our stay at a great vaue.

This is a great hotel. The lobby is well designed and set-up as a meeting, connecting area. The Wheelhouse cafe in the lobby is a great place to eat with a healthy menu. As other reviewers have said, the rooms are small with a glass shower that is exposed to the sleeping/work area of the room. I like the concept and would recommend this hotel.

Concept is just weird! Bathroom sink takes 10 minutes to drain, extremely low water pressure in shower. Speaking of shower...it is open to the room, so NO PRIVACY in bathroom. The glass shower is one of the walls of the room, so don't share a room with someone if you don't want them to watch you shower and use the restroom. Small rooms and very minimal design.

Very modern style. Rooms are very small. Nightstand on one side of bed only. Showers are very see through so if privacy is needed everyone but the person showering needs to leave the room. Also to feel privacy on the commode you need to shut the shower curtain. One of the nights we were there was the restaurant grand opening, the place was so crowded and loud it was difficult to get through to the elevator to go to your room and due to the size of our group (4 rooms) we couldn't all fit in any one room to visit so we had to hang out in the crowded lobby. the manager did offer to set us up with table and chairs in the workout room for quiet. Overall a decent stay but for this 50 something, it will be the only time we stay.

The rooms are very small. The service was subpar. The bed was comfy. Don't get a balcony room due to the traffic noise from Sunshine Street. You can see into the bathroom from the bed, I prefer more privacy.

I only require a clean hotel room. Everything else to me is extra. I hope this stays this clean. It is brand spanking new. Other than the walls being paper thin & hearing my neighbor pee, I loved it. I'm glad a hotel has finally grabbed the European style of things. It was tight quarters & perfect for what a hotel stay should be.

I traveled a lot around the world for business , and I've been almost everywhere Europe , Asia , Africa , but most of my travel is here in USA etc ... and i stayed in the finest , beautiful and sexiest hotels , and never been discriminated or underestimated based on my skin color or the way I look ,on October 1st 2018 I had to go to Springfield Missouri to visit some clients there and conduct business for 3 days , and I booked my entire stay at the VIB Best Western since it is a fairly new hotel , even though I'm a Hilton honor member , I choose to stay away from hiltons since they have only double tree in Springfield , what I found was that this place stinks, specially the staff at the wheelhouse bar/restaurant they have on site . One afternoon I decided to drink coffe down at the lobby , I approached the counter of the bar and I asked the bartender to give me a latte , he replied , do you want a 16 OZ or a 20 OZ , I said I need the 12 OZ only , then he said we don't have it , and I asked him with a smile in my face , How long have you been working here ? , he replied since we opened , than I asked him again how come you don't know if you do or you do not have a 12OZ coffe size since it is written in your menu , he answer was I'm not a coffee guy , with an attitude , when he handed me the coffe I paid him with a 20% gratuity on top , that he didn't appreciate it and with sarcasm said ( gracias ) assuming that I'm Hispanic , because I look so . Later that night my wife got hungry and she wanted a salad , I called from the room and I ordered a salad for her , and I asked politely to add a piece of bread with it , the guy on the phone named Michael said we don't have it , than I said how come you don't have rolls and you make sandwiches??? He couldn't say a word because he didn't have an answer !! So I said don't worry just bring me a piece of bread you can charge me for it , 10 minutes later he brought the food to the room , and I asked him where is my receipt because it was going to be charged to the room , he replied : I don't have it , he went downstairs and he called my room back to let me know what was the total .he said the total is $ xx I was shocked to pay that for a salad and a piece of bread and just being curious, I asked him how much did you guys charge me for the bread , and he said $5 for a small tiny little piece of bread , I never paid that in the most luxurious hotels around the world even in my home city Orlando Florida where we receive 60 million visitors a year from all over the glob . This will be my first and last time that I will come back here , and I won't recommend this place to anyone period .

This location is not like any other Best Westerns I have stayed in. It is very sleek and modern. It has a huge lobby with a bar/dining area. The gym is fabulous! The only negative is the shower in the room. It was a great shower, but you can see thru it into the room and vice versa. It has a pattern on it, but you still can see thru it. Other than that- I would highly recommend this location. The stay is amazing and will go above and beyond to help you out.

Hotel is super nice, sustainable, eco friendly, smart hotel. Price could have been less for area. Pastries and dessert not very good. Guy cooking the food at the Wheelhouse was dirty and pounding food into his head while he prepared breakfast. GM of hotel needs to raise standards for people preparing your food. However, the front desk staff and ladies checking people out at the Wheelhouse were very nice and friendly. The hotel is super clean and lobby inviting.

I'm 82 yrs. old. Don't travel much anymore, but always looking for a new place to eat. So anticipated a good experience on Thursday, Sept. 27th, 2018. The lobby was crowded. Need more tables, for sure. Staff friendly, smiling, young, nice looking. Ordered the fried rice with vegetables. Food was tepid upon arrival at my table. So what happens from there? After a few bites, it was nearly cold. In fact, a couple pieces of broccoli were cold. I'm a resident of Springfield, Mo. Hundreds of restaurants. No need to return to the VIB. Sorry.

Looked for a reasonable overnight hotel....saw this NEW BW and gave it a try. Great price first off with BW membership. Hotel is very unique....good bar and food in the lobby. Very modern. Awesome friendly service from the staff at all levels. Very excited about their own new hotel. Rooms are a bit small, but it is the Euro look and feel. Very contempory and fun. Only VIB hotel in the Country right now. Recommend that you stay. Fun!

This hotel is newly opened as of the time of this review. The check-in process was a bit slow, however, it was most likely due to the newness of the staff. The food in the lobby is outstanding. The Wheelhouse Street Faire has great Mexican fusion tacos and so forth. Rooms are efficient and clean.

What a cool hotel. I was in town for work and needed a place to stay for one night. I stumbled across Vib on a third party site for a good price and decided to give it a try. It is always worrisome to stay in a new hotel with no reviews, but I was glad I did. It is pretty close to downtown Springfield. When I pulled into the parking lot, I was surprised to see how modern the hotel looked from the outside and how it felt so different than anything in the are. Upon entering the hotel was beautiful. I checked in with no issues and the fantastic young lady explained everything the hotel had to offer, from the gym, restaurant to the room specifics. The room was crazy cool. It had super modern lighting, wood look floors, and a shower that was glass and encroached into the room. It was an all around cool experience. I was in town for work, but would love to take my wife on a getaway just to check out the hotel. The restaurant seemed pretty cool and I noticed several people come in just for drinks and dinner, not even staying at the hotel. I had a dinner meeting scheduled elsewhere otherwise would have checked it out. I did stop and have a beer at the bar before heading up. The only odd part of the hotel was that it overlooked the back of a strip club, but was a good distance from the hotel. Nothing really to see but drunks stumbling out. Overall it was quiet, the staff friendly and the ambiance was great. Will definitely stay here again and would love to check out the food and gym next time.
