This hotel has the worst noise ever. Instead of paying for actual sound deadening, they put freaking white noise machines in the room and offer complimentary foam earplugs. I can't understand how they know it's a problem, but instead of addressing it, they just make it the guests problem.
The hotel was lovely from Start to finish! I'm very picky and fussy about cleanliness had zero issue at this hotel! The staff was great very welcoming and friendly! The services were great! The room we had was a king suit the bed was cozy and clean! The lobby was super cute lots of places to sit and relax beautiful fire place area. Loved that they offered a 24/7 coffee station with lots of choices the coffee was good! The breakfast was great lots of choices! They had the lobby decorated for fall/ Halloween which was tasty full done and cute! Felt homey. Lots of shopping and restaurants with in walking distance. 10/10! Would and will go back!
The room was set up well and it was very clean. Had a great stay. The breakfast had a great selection and was very well set up. I would definitely stay with them again the next time I travel to spokane. My thanks to all the staff for making our stay a good one
Rated this place 5 stars last time. But small room with broken window looking onto disgusting roof. Did not honor “early in” policy. To their credit, they did not charge me the “early in” fee either. Breakfast was great, hot, and good variety. Receptionist/concierge was helpful and understanding of predicament. Will stay here again, but will avoid room #212.
My wife & I Like The Best Western & The Service they provide. They are always Consistent & theirs never allot of "rifraf" during check in or during our stay a around the premises. A very safe & Peaceful atmosphere, which my wife & I always appreciate👍 🙏🏽
Best breakfast variety better even than Holiday Inns. Foods kept hot over hot water, preventing getting dried out. Foods are kept full right up until 10:00, unlike other hotels that are almost getting empty close to shutdown time. Even when teams came! Amazing. No evidence of dogs staying, no smells, fresh clean smells. Spa great, pool great. Employees were super sweet. Plenty of parking area & no charge to park! Security was really good. Fitness center one treadmill unusable, but other one worked & fortunately nobody ever was using it when I came to use it. We stayed two weeks. The stay was consistently super enjoyable the whole time. We loved coming back to it every night during our vacation in Spokane, visiting family. We will definable be staying again there every year we go back out. Highly highly recommend!
Beware of 3rd party reservations. I had gone to the hotel's website directly to make a reservation. I was quoted a total (including fees and taxes) of 190.00 for the following bight. I completed the non-refundable option and was immediately charged for the room. The following day i noticed the same room for 30.00 less than I had paid. I filed a very polite complaint to Best Western using their link to "match" prices and guaranteed lowest price. The response from BW Home office explained that because I had used a third party ( something called hotelplanner) which I was switched to from the BW website that they couldn't/wouldn't refund the difference. It will be a long time before I stay at another Best Western. There are plenty of hotels that offer the same services/amenities/prices as BW.
Other than the room not having soap to wash our hands and the breakfast staff the stay was great and had a good time with the family. I do feel beings that people come with children that there should be more than one highchair available, or booster seats especially with how high the tables are
Clean comfortable room and friendly staff. Breakfast is fresh and delicious. Plenty of parking. Lots of good places to eat in the area and shopping is close by. The pool & hot tub are clean and well maintained. This is a great place to stay in North Spokane.
The ADA mobility accessible room was pleasant and the beds very comfortable. The layout in the bathroom was awkward. There was no shelf or cabinet on which to place personal items. The sink/mirror, etc. was in the entryway area and was too high for a person in a wheelchair. The breakfast had many different items to meet anyone's dietary preferences. The hotel was located in an area near a major roadway but the neighborhood was quiet and pleasant.
The staff was super helpful and the room was clean and spacious. Beds were comfy and the air conditioning worked great. Had a nice couch to sit on and we will definitely stay there again when we are in Spokane. The location is great. Just about anything you are looking for is within a few minute drive.
This hotel was very pet unfriendly and as a result caused my husband to miss the main reason we made the trip. Price definitely did not reflect the standards of the room and was way too expensive. Only thing that ranked was the breakfast. It was a full breakfast.
Comfortable beds, rooms very clean and staff very friendly. I was having a medical procedure at nearby hospital and was hoping for a discounted rate. When I booked they said they applied one, but after looking online looks like it was the regular rate that showed online.
Great place to stay. Check in was a breeze. Room comfy and quiet. Plenty of parking. Breakfast was plentiful and there was room for everyone to sit and eat. The location is great for the retail area but about 20 minutes to Riverfront Park. Would recommend.
Thr staff was nice and friendly. The rooms were clean. My family enjoyed the 24hr pool and hot tub. There were a variety of breakfast options. We had two rooms one of them had a little issue with the bathtub being clogged. Staff took care of it and were very polite.
Very happy with 24 hour pool and hot tub and fitness center! Room was beautiful and clean, they have shampoo and body wash dispensers in the shower, instead of the little tiny bottles other hotels give you. The lobby was very clean and smelled very good. It was just a wonderful stay.
Over the moon with the place. Everything was clean, stocked and neat. Room appliances were in great working order and the staff was prompt and very friendly. Pool was terrific and getting something from the mini store was very easy. There's even charging for EV's in the back. Honestly, best stay I've had in a chain hotel in a long while.
New hotel, standard BW , clean and efficient. It is far from Spokane downtown, but I was on my way north so it worked for me. Decent breakfast, super clean facilities. There are many restaurant options nearby, but not in the hotel, Staff was friendly and helpful. Would go back there if in the area.
The hotel is very clean. The staff is very helpful. All amenities are there that would be needed. Also, the breakfast was very good (which is not the case for all free hotel breakfasts). Lots of parking, as well. It was easy to walk to many food locations/restaurants nearby, which was nice as well.
The best part of BW+ was the staff. When I required assistance, or just needed to chat for a moment, the front desk was super-duper. The cleaning staff, marvelous busy bees, always with a smile. The pillows, way yes. The beds, wondrous. The air conditioning, record temps were no match those bad boys. The pool, kids loved it. The Wifi, no bueno.
Extremely disappointed. Room was ok. Check in staff arrogant unhelpful and borderline rude. Wifi very poor. Breakfast was a joke. I could have accepted the wifi and breakfast jokes in a cheaper hotel but the check in was so unforgivably bad
I would have highly recommended this hotel up until my check out. We booked two rooms for four days (well exceeding $1000). I had left a pillow and a bag of clothes in my hotel room. We returned less than two hours after check out and were told the housekeeper did not find any items in our room. The hotel offered to ship our items to us once found. My husband found our belongings in the hotel dumpster! When I confronted the manager, he said that the housekeeper thought the bag of clothing was garbage. Clearly, she's a liar. Her first answer was that she didn't find any items. And then when she was caught lying, she said she thought it was garbage. The manager only offered an insincere apology. The way this was handled is completely unacceptable! I am most disappointed in that I truly enjoyed my stay and would have stayed here again but the hotel staff cannot be trusted.
Lily & Jasmine provided the best customer service I've received in years -- across all business sectors! Over the weekend I needed last minute accommodations at a pet-friendly hotel. We had just subjected our home to several chemical bombs designed to eliminate mold, and we needed a safe place for us and our two dogs to sleep and breathe. At the time, my husband and I were in separate locations and I was trying to coordinate our arrival time and the uncertain duration of our stay. I bounced back and forth between talking with Lily and getting information about the hotel and talking to my husband about the state of the house and how long it will take for the place to be livable again. Our end date is still uncertain. However, over the course of at least four conversations, Lily was absolutely wonderful. She was exceedingly patient with me (without seeming like she was being patient with me--it was clear from her voice that she was smiling, not gritting her teeth. 🙂) Furthermore, she answered all my questions as if nothing gave her more pleasure and sounded delighted to hear from me every time I called. When my husband mistakenly checked us out a couple of days too soon, Jasmine came to the rescue and was able to re-book us right away. Finally, one of my favorite things, since we don't know each other, both Lily and Jasmine very respectfully referred to me as "Ms. Koenen" in every conversation. I particularly hate it when strangers use my first name as if we're long time friends, and this token of respect meant the world to me. I'm sure that you already know that they are amazing. Please also make sure that they gets a bonus and a raise for their outstanding work and attitude. Also, please know that the fact that all of the staff we interacted with were so great clearly speaks to the your phenomenal management practices. In a time where most people seem to do the minimum top get by, the staff here regularly goes above and beyond. They are so wonderful, my vocabulary is failing me --I just don't have powerful enough words to express my appreciation.
Staff are extremely friendly, professional and helpful. (Kudos to Kathy, the breakfast hostess). There are a lot of choices at breakfast and the food is hot. All-hour specialty coffee machine was appreciated day & night. The pool and jacuzzi (and those areas) were clean and had towels for the guests. The rooms are clean, large and comfortable. This hotel is convenient to local activities, shopping areas, restaurants, and more. Whenever we are in Spokane, Wa. THIS is the hotel we want to stay.
This location is great for parents whose students go to Whitworth. It's close, not only clean but 'fashionable' and includes a breakfast with a number of options. Very calm and soothing ambience.
Best Western Spokane North is a wonderful place to stay. It feels like home away from home. Staff are gracious and friendly and attentive. Breakfast is a feast every day. Coffee is excellent. Rooms are clean and comfortable. The overall feeling is that you are in a home like setting. Highly recommend!
The room was very spacious & well laid out however the actual washroom itself was very small which made assisting my disabled brother a bit difficult. Otherwise, all good.
It was our third stay in the past 3 months and the staff, room, parking, breakfast were outstanding.
It's just a skip to Whitworth University. Service is great. Very cofortable feeling. If you're lucky you may be able to get some "pet therapy" with some of their 4 legged guests.
This is a very clean and nice hotel. The breakfast was pretty good as well. Parking was easy. The only complaint was that the curtains don't close. There is a sheer curtain behind that can be adjusted only. We were on the first floor and car lights would shine in and the parking lot light. Neither of us got good sleep and it was a two queen room. Also, people could see in so not much privacy. Everything else was great. Would not recommend first floor front facing rooms.
Room had a very fragrant smell. Requested to switch rooms because the smell was so strong my friend in the next room found drug paraphernalia, heroin needles, and a drug kit in her room. The hotel concierge acted like it was no big deal. I didn't even offer her a discount.
Rooms were clean, beds were comfortable, breakfast was hot and ready early enough for us to eat and get on with our day. Location was convenient as well, lots of great shopping and dining options right across the way.
My entire stay here at the Spokane location was peaceful and pleasant, to say the least. A nice big lot to park my tanker. Easy access to the Hotel. Staff who treats you with respect and appreciation. Lilly you are totally awesome. Thank you. Also comfortable beds and nice breakfast. 5 star+
Great hotel, but too expensive for what it is. We stay at a lot of hotels and this one was great, but nothing better than other places that are cheaper. We got a double queen room and it was over $200 for one night.
Our stay at this north Best Western location was amazing. The staff member Jesse who was working was so beyond awesome and friendly yet firm. He was very helpful and very accommodating. The rooms were clean, everything was in great order. The pool and hot tub were clean and stocked with towels. The fitness center was clean and awesome. We'll definitely be visiting again!
Our stay was very comfortable, cozy, and warm! The staff had just made cookies and put enough for us ( plus an extra) in a welcome bag. Very thoughtful of them. Everyone we saw that worked for the hotel was so helpful and friendly!
Clean rooms, Caring staff, good breakfasts with plenty of choice, coffee all day for weary travelers, pet friendly, clean pool and hot tub, staff try's to accommodate early check in and late check outs
Rooms are large, well-designed, and spotlessly clean. The included breakfast buffet has a god selection that opens at 6:00 am and is kept freshly stocked. Staff are gracious and responsive to any requests we have about our room. This is our go-to hotel in Spokane.
Very friendly and welcoming staff and environment! My first experience here was in October 2022, and we have returned 2 more times since then. The first time as a solo traveling petite female and again with our family of 4- very comfortable beds and very efficient AC, accommodated a late check out and breakfast stragglers after a late night out at an event. I felt safe here, most of the surrounding businesses close early enough that foot traffic stops nearby earlier in the night. There is however a 24hr gas several few blocks west that is busy at all hours of night- I was uncomfortable in this mart for a late night stop for water. The hotel parking lot is super brightly lit at night, every entry was well lit- we used the pool too and it's a comfortable setup! Our second stay, my son forgot his headphones in our room, we stayed the next night with the wedding party's hotel and came by the following day and they were there waiting for us! We will continue to use on our trips to Spokane!
Typically, I stay at Marriott properties because of of points. However, this hotel was closer to the college we were visiting, so I booked it. Honestly, not expecting a lot. Wow - was I surprised! The customer service from start to finish was excellent! Our room was sparkling clean, beds were so comfortable, wifi was fast, and the complimentary breakfast was delicious! This was a wonderful find! We will stay again when visiting the Northern Spokane area!
We can always count on this BW to be consistent with our expectations! From check-in to room cleanliness and other facilities, this team always delivers. Stayed here once for business, all other stays have been for family visits.
Loved this hotel! It was clean and nice, had very friendly staff, free espresso machine, free breakfast and nice pool! We got stuck with another hotel the night before that was about the same price, and that one was a dive compared to this one. This place was one of the nicest I've been to in a while
I called the morning off as a BW member and receive a very accomadaring room for my family and dog. We arrived the room was a good size I believe it was an executive queen room as it has a couch. The room was very clean and welcoming no complaints on my stay
I stay in hotels about 200+ days a year. I used to stay at this hotel years ago, but then it went downhill, so I stopped staying there. After a couple of years, I decided to try it again and was pleasantly surprised at how much it improved! Breakfast is really good ( just wish bacon selection was everyday, not just 2 days a week ;-) and the Coffee/Cappuccino machine is excellent. "Necha" at the Front Desk is amazing! Only downside is that there are some sketchy people in the area around the hotel, it could use a security guard or some sort of security system. My car window was smashed in and everything was stolen from it a few years ago. Also, it's priced a bit high... higher than the Davenport Hotel a good deal of the time. Those are the only improvements I can think of. Everything else is really good.
My husband and I and our dog "Koda" spent 3 months here while we were repairing our home due to water damage. The stay, the staff, the amenities were all great! Housekeeping, was very, very good. Kitchen staff always put out a great breakfast. The best part of our stay was the entire staff. They were always accommodating to any requests. Allison, Kathy, Maribella, Chrystal, Brady, KiKi, (forgive me if not getting everyone in here). This hotel and staff are very pet friendly and Koda never complained because she received a cookie or two each day from someone there. The next best thing about our stay, was the cookies for the guests at the front desk every night at 7PM. Warm and fulfilling. We think Lily at the front desk is one of the warmest and nicest people you will ever meet. She always had a smile on her face. Heck, everybody did. It seemed everyone enjoyed working there. Thank you everyone for making our stay most enjoyable! We do want to make the owners aware of some noise issues though. We had a room on the bottom floor next to the stairs and it was quite noisy as was the sounds coming from the floor above. It seemed like when anyone walked up the stairs or across the floor, the floor boards were very loud.
I am 19 and stayed at this location on my way to Billings 3 days ago. I showed my ID and checked in. The hotel was fine. On the way back after an 9 hour drive I tried to check in and was told that they I had to be 21. Odd that this policy was not in effect 2 days prior. The policy is also not listed on that location's website. The policy is also not a Best Western policy according to customer relations. In the absence of a policy I wonder if my complexion was the problem. Maybe it was some misunderstanding but it felt like something else. I didn't make a fuss, just left. Can't let people bring you down. Guess I'll drive straight home. 5 more hours on the road feels safer than this hotel. Hope it's safe for you. Good luck.--asked my dad to write this while I drove home.
If you need to stay in Spokane for a trip recommend you all go here! Environment is really nice! Staff is awesome and breakfast is yummy! Indoor pool is great for the kids…. Oh and not to forget about fresh baked chocolate chip cookies at 7pm theee best!
Friendly staff. Pool and fitness center are in good condition. Breakfast is typical breakfast buffet, so not my personal favorite but works in a pinch. Good location to North Spokane activities that are nearby.
The staff @ BW is awesome! The hotel is clean, comfortable, and stylish! The staff is very welcoming and knowledgeable. We were able to relax and enjoy our stay. We were there because of emergency with our home, and were tired and stressed out. The rooms were super clean and the beds comfortable. Our questions were answered quickly. Breakfast was a buffet, with hot/cold cereals, yogurt, eggs, waffles, muffins, biscuits qnd fresh fruit ( there was more ). Everything was kept at the correct temperature and items were filled up as they got low. Overall a wonderful stay. Please congratulate the staff, I am sorry I forgot their names, they deserve recognition.
The staff was polite and responsive. This hotel has great amenities (breakfast, fitness room, indoor pool and hot tub. Clean Hotel. Well decorated lobby, sitting area, and room. I loved the 24/7 pool and hot tub! The price was a little high, but I have no complaints.
We spent a very enjoyable 18 hours at this property. The staff was friendly and had some great local recommendations. The Fitness center and pool exceeded expectations and the warm cookies at check-in were a NICE touch.
I will definitely stay here again. The price was right and the rooms are nice. Breakfast included with options for gluten-free and dairy-free. The kids loved the pool and hot tub was just right. Pool towels provided.
Came into town to visit family and celebrate a birthday. The location worked great for us and has easy access to dining and shopping. Room was clean and spacious and the area felt very safe. The only bad experience we had was with the breakfast.
Great location, walking distance to everything, safe and well lit parking, awesome staff GM-Cami is very accommodating and is always there, HK is great, clean rooms, bed is comfortable, rooms are well insulated (noise is muffled), breakfast is always available on time, well attended and refilled, will sure comeback to this hotel if/when in the area.
Everything was top notch, from check-in to the cleanliness of the room and the selection variety and quality of breakfast. Very quite stay and all hotel staff were very friendly and courteous. Pool and fitness facility was well maintained and a joy to top of the esperience.
The hotel is located in what appears to be an older section of town but was full of nearby places to shop and eat. The roads are very busy around it. The hotel itself was getting new siding installed. The contractor finished at 6pm and was not a hindrance to sleeping. The very bright floodlights for the parking lot were more of a minor issue. The staff greeting was good, and we were promised fresh bake cookies at 7pm sharp. Upon entry into the room, the smell of stale cigarette smoke was very strong. I called the desk and was assured it was a non-smoking hotel, maybe so, but it still stank. We opened the window and aired it out. The room had standard amenities, but the carpet had not been cleaned for some time. Later I would find that walking on it stained my socks. The elevator must have come from a theme park. The ride was slow, and it always ended with a jolt or two. Hopefully that will get fixed. We went to get our fresh cookies and they were not ready as promised. They finally came out at 7:30 and the nice lady wrapped up 3 cookies for each of us just for being patient. We had been up and travelled for over 30 hours to get here so it was appreciated. The breakfast was good and was fully available until closing. Some BW locations we would later find let the food run out before closing time. To be fair, it looked like this place was undergoing improvements and will be a better hotel in the future. Make sure to hold on the elevator ride.
Amazing Customer Service, pet Friendly, Clean, and AWESOME BREAKFAST!!!!! While driving across country Best Western Motels became the one place my family could count on for a wonderful experience, Breakfast, and safe nights sleep. Would recommend everytime, and has become our 1st choice when needing a place to stay!
My friend and I stayed at this hotel for one night on October 13. The lobby looks clean and new and we were checked in quickly. The room was spacious and clean. The bedding was very nice (I hate worn out bedding and cheap thin blankets). The breakfast was the standard hotel breakfast fare, but not bad. The price was average. The location was handy as it was not far to most of the stores we were interested in shopping at. The same lady processed our check in and check out (Cami Aguayo) and she was so sweet and kind and took interest in what we were doing there. Friendly staff is such an asset at a hotel I believe. We very much enjoyed our stay in this hotel and if we are back in the area we would stay here again.
Everything was good about our stay here. No complaints at all. Room was clean and WiFi was excellent. We would definitly stay here again. Apparently I have to have a minimum of 200 characters to submit my review which I find annoying so I am just typing to fill in the numbers.
Highly recommended hotel. Staff are friendly and nice. Pet friendly. Rooms are big, bed are comfy. Breakfast is available, with waffle maker! Pool and jacuzzi is ooen 24/7. Washer and dryer for 2.00 per use. Fresh baked cookies by the reception desk daily is delish!
The hotel was very clean, but the noise made it difficult to sleep. The front desk staff was too busy having a personal conversation to check me in. I could hear the tv from a neighbors room like it was in my room and the noise from people walking upstairs was atrocious.
When I couldn't get a room at my usual spot, I reserved here, and WOW! So much quieter than where I normally stay. I wish I had realized there was a pool--I love to swim at the end of the day. The room was big and airy, and I LOVED having a desk to work at and a couch to relax on! I will be back!
We enjoyed our stay here except for the construction that was going on. The windows and siding were being replaced which kind of ruined things. But that being said, it is a nice facility and the staff is great.
I was visiting on a business purposes and had to stay for 30+ days. The location is good. Only problem was internet. Rest all 5 star rating. Room, gym, swimming pool, parking space, the cookies they give out at 7pm and 24/7 coffee.
Construction going on until 6pm everyday and our room was having the windows replaced. Strange smell in our room like nothing we have ever smelled before. Front desk acted like they could care less. We have stayed in several Best Western hotels on this trip and this the worst. If this was my first stay, I would never stay at a Best Western again.
Helpful staff...especially reception who cheerfully helped us out with a document printing. Clean and comfortable room. Breakfast was fine. Trouble-free internet. Everything we would expect from a Best Western.
I stayed at Best Western Plus for a total of 6 days- 5 nights. I loved the fact that their pool & fitness is 24hrs, staff super friendly and breakfast was delicious. As soon as I walked in through the lobby the place smelled clean! Rooms were extremely clean as well- I will definitely be back in the near future!
Repeat customer at this facility. The nightly room cost is too high for the service and facilities. The customer service has declined significantly in the last 4 months. The breakfast service only had coffee as a beverage and if you came later then there was not fully availability of breakfast items. I stayed for two nights and was not informed my room would not be serviced on evening of day 1 after being gone all day. I had to go to front desk to get fresh towels and amenities. (No offer to bring them to room). Garbage cans in room too small to hold trash for multiple days. I ended up taking room trash out to hotel dumpster that was overflowing. Such as shame since this hotel was my go to place to stay and play pickleball.
The hotel is in a very convenient area to many amenities. Hotel very clean. The front desk staff are very nice and helpful. Breakfast was awful. Room was very clean, and everything worked except for coffee maker.
This hotel in the northern Spokane area was great for our family. The staff are very friendly and accommodating, the rooms spacious and clean, and you have to love the fresh baked cookies at night! The hotel breakfast is good, if slightly limited in choices (some hot items, pastries, cereal, and fruit and yogurt). There is a coffee/tea bar and ice water available 24/7 for the guests. We would definitely stay here again.
I can't remember when booking that the room would be made up every third day. Card requesting towels was displayed but ignored. The elevator was down for 2 days. No notice given that fire alarm testing would be taking place. Staff was friendly. Room was big but some design programming was not well thought of.
The hotel location is on the northern side of downtown Spokane, making for a great base of support to access with the northeastern areas of Washington state. You don't have to deal with rush hour traffic to find restaurants, and retail stores in general, but yet touching base with that kind of shopping to run back up to the camping/picnicing/hiking/sightseeing areas couldn't be easier.
The Best Western was conveniently located within walking distance of several places to eat and go to a grocery store. This made it really easy for my sport's team to get food vs. having to load the team up in the van and drive. It was quiet and very clean and had great customer service.
First, I had to wait more than 20 mins and had to SEARCH the hotel to find someone to check me in. When the guy finally arrived, he seemed "stoned" and when I told him how long I had waited, he just sort of laughed.... The room was very dirty, with filth and dead bugs in the window sills. This was once a decent hotel, not anymore... On 1 occasion, my car window was shattered and on another occasion, someone was shot while I was staying there...AVOID.
For my first knee surgery I made a reservation for a handicap room for march 9 – 10 2021 at Best Western on Newport Hwy. in Spokane, Washington. Got there, no handicap available, so I let them put us in a regular room with the promise of having a handicap the next night (night of surgery). My sister got very upset with them so they made sure the second night was a handicap room. Dec. 27, 2021, I called to reserve a room for another surgery, explained it was for another knee replacement and they made the reservation for a handicap room. They called me on Jan 7 and asked if I was coming in and I explained the reservation was for Jan. 27! They corrected their records. The night before leaving to drive the 2 hrs. into Spokane I called to confirm that we had reservations for a HANDICAP room. They said yes. When we got there, they said they didn't have a handicap available. I got my money back and will never go there again. This left me running around Spokane looking for a room the night before surgery! Doesn't the ADA say Disabled people have the right to equal treatment as everyone else? My advice: Don't believe this Best Western when they promise a handicap room. (Sad but true)
My stay was fantastic from check in to breakfast. I was pleased with the cleanliness and how beautiful the hotel was. The lobby was spacious with plenty of room to eat breakfast. The room had a beautiful view of the Spokane.
It was a great place for 100s of us to stay. All of had a great experience. We will be back next year. The only issues was the high perfume smell. We turned on the exhaust fan and air fan and it cleared it out in a few hours.
When as a guest stuck in a pickle, the staff here went above and beyond to make my travels less stressful. The lobby is comforting with living plants, fresh baked cookies in the evening, and a great dog pit stop area around the property. There are plenty of restaurant options near by - even walking distance. Love the sinks on the outside of the shower/toilet - really helps when 2 people are trying to get ready, with lots of light and mirrors!
The facility is the nicest Best Western I've stayed at. Very nice clean rooms and the staff is very helpful and friendly. The breakfast buffet is excellent with great. Voices from biscuits gravy, waffles to eggs bacon yogurts variety of juices to hot fresh coffee.
The room was clean and spacious. The location was quiet, no traffic noise. Room had great amenities, nice big fridge and a microwave. The hot tub was out of order during our stay but the kids had a great time in the pool. Breakfast was great, and the dining room was very clean.
Lots of dog friendly hotels are either too expensive or cheap and dirty. This was a nicer stay than i expected. I had to take my husband to a surgery and couldn't leave our dogs home (3 hours away). The hotel was perfect for an overnight rest for all of us before his appointment and i didn't have to worry about the pets.
The only bad thing was the food made me sick . The people were great , room great . Well the price was a little steep for one night 215.00 for one night . This was my first time To Spokane . I would probably look for a better bang for my money.
excellent service with a nice breakfast location is perfect, just a hop from many stores and restaurants but quiet and off the busy street, this was our first stay here and we were very pleasantly pleased
GREAT Location... we can stay here, and go anywhere we need to go. It is "Pet Friendly", so our fur-baby can come with us....they even have snacks for them, as you walk in the Front door !! Their breakfast is very nice, and pretty much something for everyone.
Very friendly staff and extremely clean and quiet. Great hot breakfast, and actually good tasting coffee. Was surprised that you could not hear the traffic of the city during the night. And can't hear people in adjoining rooms or floors above.
We came to Spokane to bring Christmas presents to family and our stay at the Best Western hotel was exemplary. Thank you for a very enjoyable stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The restaurants in the area are varied so we had a great choice of food to eat.
Superb room--comfortable bed--top notch bedding. Breakfast was excellent. Close to nice shops--easy access to freeways. Very quiet. Will stay here whenever in Spokane! Staff was very welcoming. Loved the hot cookies at night!
Excellent hotel Very clean and fabulous staff that went out of their way to ensure we had a great stay! Would definitely stay here again. Loved that they had different pillows for different type of sleepers. Bed were comfy and rooms were very clean.
It is a nice pet friendly hotel. It was clean and located near shopping and fast food restaurants. The continental breakfast was terrible. The waffles were like rubber with no flavor. The eggs were cold and they had a poor selection of breads/muffins and yogurts. We had to take the kids somewhere else to eat afterwards :( They have a nice pool area and workout room which we enjoyed,
Close proximity to family. restaurants and shopping within walking distance. location just of highway 2 very convenient easy access to north town shopping mall Friendly staff lobby is open and inviting
In Spokane for a nephew's wedding. Have 2 brothers who live there. This location was great, close to the brothers. Great access to the wedding venue. The room was excellent. The lobby was clean and service was great. The daily breakfast was the best, Great selection of hot and cold items. Coffee was fresh throughout the day. Used the hot tub once and the fitness room a couple of times. All in all a great experience and would definitely stay again and highly recommend.
Nice hotel with good people. Found my room clean and comfortable. Breakfast was nice and sufficient. I left my laptop computer in the room when I checked out. The hotel called to let me know and we arranged for them to forward it to my home. Well the routing got so mixed up, at no fault of the hotel, but with both of us working to find out where the laptop was resulted in it finally being returned to the hotel one month later. What was so great is that they were just as excited to find it as I was. It showed me real concern for the customer and effort to recover my laptop. It was a pleasure working with the GM and FOM (Cami & Alisia) and their sincere efforts on my behalf. My laptop was received by me with expedited delivery. My wife and I have recently discovered "Best Western Plus" hotels and will be staying there when we travel when possible. Thank you, Chris M
Standard rooms for a low-end motel in a loud, industrial area. Poor mask compliance from staff and guests. There is a sign indicating mandatory masks in indoor public spaces as you enter the lobby (as of Sept. 2021), but no compliance from most staff and guests. Terrifying experience for anyone with respiratory challenges (e.g., asthma) or in a vulnerable group (e.g., children, elderly).
After stay at another BW Plus property in the area that was TERRIBLE, cleanliness was far below minimum expectations, the BW Plus Spokane North totally restored our faith in the BW Plus brand. We stayed less than 12 hours but from the moment we walked through the door we knew it was going to be a completely different experience. From the care and attention at check in and especially the cleanliness of the lobby, breakfast area and of course the room. I would absolutely recommend this property.
The staff here is so friendly. They fully feed you breakfast to start off your day. They do have GF, Gluten Free breakfast options. I highly recommend. Close to shopping, restaurants and so much more. Great location depending on what you are in Spokane for.
First, the hotel is a nice hotel in the north end of Spokane, Decent pool, good breakfast, nice rooms. But my compaint is about the people who are staying here. If the state of Washington has 60% vaccination rate I would expect 40% of the people coming into the hotel to have masks on, but there were more like 10-20% max. So there are a lot of people staying there that are not vaccinated and not willing to wear a mask. I know the hotel can't do much about it, but it goes to show you how different cities are taking this pandemic. Spokane has a lot of people who never wear masks inside establishments even though they are not vaccinated. This tells me that there are a lot of people here who could care less about anyone other than themselves.
Check in desk employee was not knowledgeable; problems with not understanding how free reward point stays function, charged extra fee, that required a call BW Rewards to solve on our return after a 3 wk road trip. Breakfast was chaotic, due to staffing problems, I guessing. No refilling of empty food during breakfast peak hr...the one employee did not know what to do, I assume.
This hotel was really comfortable and clean. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room had a light smell of old smoke, it didn't bother me, but it was obviously there. Breakfast was ok, not great, not terrible.
I would like to compliment Best Western on their superior service, especially during this covid time. October 2020 my mom called and advised me her and dad were both positive, this was 1200 miles away. I stayed at Best Western in North Platte NE for almost 7 weeks. The service was superior. I recently had to go back again to help my mom as my dad passed away. I again stayed at Best Western during my travels and they were superior. One hotel (Hampton) had no soap, pool broken, etc. Best Western not only had all amentities, still provided my Award member water and cookie, the breakfast was full of variety and healthy choices, the customer service was spot on, and the rooms were super clean and comfortable, this stay was at Spokane North in Washington State. THank you for your superior service during a very difficult time in my family's life. Susan M.
People don't listen. Over charged and refused to correct. Don't return calls. “Loose reservations”. This hotel has the worse and most incompetent staff I've ever experienced. We're here to fight fires and we're treated like crap. Our credit cards were over charged and some reservations were “lost”. Unacceptable. Staff and managers are completely incompetent.
One of the nice things was that the pool and spa were open 24hours, we came late and were still able to enjoy as much as we wanted! Also the lady at the front desk let us upgrade to a larger room with no hassle! Really good service and breakfast was yummy!!!
Comfortable, clean place to stay. Have made it our go to place to stay when we visit family in this area. Great variety of dine-in and grab and go items for breakfast and the fresh cookies are also appreciated.
If I could rate them a 0 for customer service, I would! We booked a reservation and had to cancel due to illness. The associate said it would be no charge and canceled the whole reservation and put it in my mothers name for one night on Saturday. The front desk associate Iliana said she could not honor everything we confirmed the day before. And because the associate was "new" they could not stick by their word. She didn't want her coworker to get in trouble so she did not want to report it higher. If you make a mistake in customer service the customer should not suffer the misunderstanding.
The staff was great. The room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast was wonderful, the choices of food were perfect. I know that with COVID things have been not normal. It was nice to see things normal, yet very clean.
Rooms were large, clean and comfortable. There was a Chuck E. Cheese close by that we took the kids to for supper and a little evening entertainment. Enjoyed the pool and slept well in the comfortable beds. There was plenty of room to set up our toddler's pack- n- play. In the morning even though the waffle makers were out of order there was still plenty of options for kids and adults alike:) Definitely would stay here again.
Ran out of all breakfast and never refilled anything for the last entire hour. Breakfast attendant nowhere to be seen. Pool area was also unkempt and not attended to. Had to go to front desk for towels
Friendly staff, excellent cleanliness, indoor swimming pool, nicely decorated, good breakfast. Also, comfortable bed, great pillows and good water pressure. Location was perfect for visiting family in Mead and Chattaroy. Lots of restaurants and shopping nearby.
The staff is amazing. The facility is clean and fresh. The swimming pool area is nice and we enjoyed the attached patio. Even with some Covid restrictions the stay was amazing. We have stayed here several times and will come back again.
Room and its general amenities were OK but bathroom/vanity floor was filthy. When spilled water was wiped up with tissue, the tissue was gray with dirt. Bare feet stuck to the bathroom/vanity floor. Not up to standards for a Best Western +.
Highly recommend staying, friendly staff and full accommodations for all your needs. Close to many restaurants and shops. Excellent breakfast included. Rooms was good size and very clean. Pool was ready for the kids.
Would highly recommend this if you are planning to visit the Spokane area. The staff is wonderful and the rooms were very clean and felt like home. The hotel had really great breakfast options as well.
We've stayed at this Best Western several times since the first of the year (2021). Each time we stay we discover a bit more. First, we really appreciate that they have gone back to the traditional breakfast buffet where you can graze and pick your own meal at your leisure. I understand why they were doing the breakfast in a bag, but it is just not the same. Second, having also recently stayed at another nearby hotel, I really noticed how much larger, spacious and better appointed the rooms are at this Best Western. That said, there is striking variance in the single king bed rooms. One of the single king bed rooms is actually tiny and located right next to the elevator. However, the most recent king room we had was very spacious with super lighting (I think it is room x26, depending on the floor you are on). We really appreciate the large counter space around the sink that is located outside of the toilet/tub room. very nice. Definitely consider this property if you are staying in North Spokane.
Looking for a nice quiet and clean place to stay when you're going to be in Spokane for a few days? The Spokane North Best Western Plus is perfect! Nice and clean, great breakfast, well-appointed rooms and far enough off the highways and freeways to give a restful nights' sleep - all in a ll a great place to stay.
VERY CLEAN, the small details from the pillows to the toiletries made it feel like I was in the comfort of my own home. Decor was very pleasant and calming, not sterile feeling. Breakfast options were outstanding even with Covid restrictions. Great place to stay!!!
Never disappointed when my family and I come to stay here. It's the only hotel we like to go to in spokane for the price and the rooms are nicer than the fancier hotels. I would recommend this hotel over all the other ones in spokane.
I got into town around 10 pm; the front desk staff pulled up my confirmation quickly, got keys made, and efficiently informed me of all service changes due to covid precautions. My room was very clean and as a self-proclaimed germophobe, this REALLY matters to me. Breakfast was more of an order-what-you-want style versus buffet due to covid but it was quick and hot food was still being served so I could get a yummy bagel sandwich! Very pleased with my stay!
This was one of the best hotel's my family has stayed in. It was extremely clean which as a Mom I really appreciate it knowing my family will be in a clean environment. The staff have done an amazing job with COVID guidelines. The beds were comfy and we got our gym reservation right away. Our family had a great Staycation.
The staff were very helpful for my daughter and I as we got everything settled and left quickly because of the blizzard. Staff all had smiles and offers of help. I was very impressed because we met people who became very stressed during the day. Thank you so much to the team at the hotel.
Our room was clean and comfortable and quiet. Nesha was especially helpful at check in. She answered all our questions and was very accommodating for all our dietary requests for breakfast. The eating area was full of light, convenient and comfortable. We would certainly stay agaiin.
This hotel may be a few miles off the freeway, but it miles ahead of the competition in terms of cleanliness and excellence in our opinion. The room was sparkling clean and spacious. The in-room amenities were nice and the morning breakfast options were plentiful. We'd stay here again in a heartbeat.,
This facility was extremely clean and tidy. Each staff member we dealt with could not have been more pleasant. Due to Covid, breakfast was in a to-go bag with many options available. Warm cookies in the lobby each day and a full-service coffee bar available in the lobby.
Had booked the Room through Snaptravel Paid $150 for the Room was told that was a great deal come to find out they only charge 113 for the Room I checked in on September 19th at a little bit after 3 was asked for ID and debit card my confirmation email had told me the only needed my ID so I gave them my ID and debit card and when I checked out on September 20th at 11:00 a.m. got home and checked my bank account statements to find out I had been charged 3 × 2 times by Best Western self and one time by the snap travel agency on a side note it was also supposed to be a look Winter through the agency I use and was not ended up being a Best Western plus which does not bother us beings how we enjoyed our stay but in very frustrated with how they handle finances Display count is used for certain things only therefore we only have an allotted amount of money say back for this now I have multiple Overdraft charges today at roughly 2:30 p.m. young lady had inform me when I called that they were able to refund the charges on their end so I said OK and thank you got off the phone looked at my bank account and notice that she only reversed one of the Best Western charges there should not be 1 single charge on my count for Best Western it was already paid in advance through snap travel I really hope that they can fix this issue.
We were very comfortable and enjoyed the wonderful customer service. The rooms and lobby were clean and updated. Loved the hand sanitizer in many places including the elevator! Felt safe. All employees were attentive and friendly. They sometimes went above and beyond what we would normally expect. The grab and go breakfast worked out well in place of the self service breakfast. The only thing is that we would have loved seconds of the breakfast sandwich if offered. Parking was easy and plentiful. Overall wonderful experience and we will be back if our travels bring us this way again.
I received kind & friendly assistance with my room, location information, my need for directions, printout of directions from staff, breakfast was great every morning, got assistance in my room with tv issue, I was very comfortable & made to feel at ease & comfortable.
Even amid the restrictions of Covid this was the an awesome place to stay. The staff is super friendly and go out of their way to take care of your needs. Rooms are very clean and comfortable. I highly recommend staying here!
We drove in and made a reservation. I wanted to see the hotel before we booked. It was very quiet and restful inside with a welcoming entry with couches and flowers. The staff were so nice and helpful. The room was comfortable , great beds, and dark curtains. The location is near so many restaurants but is very quiet inside the hotel. Handy to have fridge and microwave. We had to have breakfast in our room because of COVID. It was good and plenty. Good coffee downstairs. And very reasonably priced. We stayed an extra night.
Check in was quick, took only 5 mins. We booked a huge room & we loved it! The room was clean & fuss free. The breakfast was pretty basic but enough to fill our stomach for our road trip ahead. Overall it was pleasant stay :)
The staff was willing to do whatever I needed while I was helping my daughter move out of her dorm room due to Covid 19. The staff was friendly and very helpful during a stressful moment and we felt safe staying there.
This hotel is a gold nugget! The service and cleanliness of the hotel was impeccable. The hotel was warm and the staff was eager to help me in any way. My room smelled so clean when I walked in. There were 2 flat screen TV's. One in the sitting area, and one at my bed. There was a real home feeling. This hotel truly cares and you can feel it! Danielle went above and beyond to meet and exceed all my needs! Thanks again Danielle!
If you are visiting Whitworth University or somewhere on the north side of Spokane, this is a great choice. There are plenty of restaurants and stores nearby. Downtown is just minutes away. We booked our next stay before we even checked out.
This place was very affordable and service was top notch. They even let me check in little early. The breakfast was great and fresh Belgian waffles are great. Staff was helpful in with recommending restaurant in area after long day of traveling.
