Incredible value. Staff was fantastic and helpful. Great breakfast Highly recommend . Easy to find and close to shopping and local restaurants. Old town roseville is just steps away. Excellent hair and body care products. Great showers with good water pressure
My family usually stay at BW but this one was terrible, rude front desk and things broken in the room. When told management they could care less.
Great staff, great room, great service, great breakfast, great pool, great amenities!! Loved staying here, will definitely be returning!!
This hotel is great, the people were great, the breakfast was great. My overall experience was great.
Partying teenagers and ants in my room that attacked my pizza I had to change rooms at midnight just to find more kids bumping loud bass music directly next to me in the next room. The front desk did nothing to handle either issue. I had to knock on these doors and deal with it myself.
Fire alarm went off at 12am and they never stopped it or fixed it and wont give refund despite checking out at 3am
Good value. Premium cable channels and very nice breakfast. Friendly staff and clean a room. Very accommodating to our needs. There are places nearby to eat. Easy to find and not too far from the freeway.
Large, clean rooms. New TVs but not smart TVs. Good, quality breakfast. Everyone was so kind and friendly. Very accommodating. Some of the beds are lumpy tho. They were quick to move me to another room.
Several other guests were here for the tournament. I have had excellent service and I enjoyed breakfast very much, too. Our room was clean and comfortable. I would recommend this place. You are also very close to Placer County Fairgrounds. Very good customer service. We can't wait to go back and enjoy cookies. We are still here until tomorrow. Thank you!
Worst customer service ever at a Best Western. Front desk clerk isn't interested in helping the customer standing there trying to check in. Would rather take phone calls and ignore your presence. Took forever after doing a pre-check in. Still took over 30 minutes! Worst!
Great hotel, great prices, never have any issues with check in unlike other hotels like we have stayed at. Friendly staff, we feel safe in the area. Definitely plan to keep going to this location every time we travel
I wish I can but I can't do ZERO, but this location, especially its hotel manager Mr Singh, and front desk manager Baltreetno, deserves ZERO stars. This is the worse place I have stayed at, with the worse customer service. You wil lfeasted on by bed bugs and fleas if you stay here. They won't return your calls nor show any empathy. They offered a 25% reimbursement but that's not enough to cover the prescription ointment, over the counter medication, trauma from being feasted on by bugs, and the scars and black dots on my legs even after weeks since our stay at this location.
We arrived early and were invited to have breakfast while they cleaned a room so we could rest from our 20 hour train ride. We are elderly so a rest was so helpful. The staff was very friendly and polite.
The employees are very kind as we stay offend because my wife has Cancer and we need to be close to her doctors. We feel safe we have never had a problem with any other guest during our stay we have always received our room request.
Had to change rooms 3 times due to lack of cleanliness and ant infestation in 2 rooms. The baby's feet and hands were brown from crawling on the carpet. This can all be prevented with regular maintenance. I have never had this problem before.with Best Western.
Hotel was very noisy, could hear evening and especially a dog barking next door all night. Lots of trash left under the bed that my young kids found, people were smoking at the pool. It took way too long for them to get the dog to stop yapping and be when I talked to to the front desk in the morning they just said "sorry I can only offer 10% off" I didn't even ask for a discount. The breakfast and coffee in the lobby was great and every thing besides under the beds were clean
Room was great, bed was super comfortable. Only issue was cleaning crew was unattentive to us and did not stop by to clean room. Stayed a week and they only stopped by once to ask for cleaning and that was on my second day.
A very nice room & comfortable bed, but only one small draw to put clothes in. Breakfast was very good, plentiful and varied every day, with service that was exemplary. Front desk was always avail and helpful.
Staff at night just not helpful at all. Said they would get back to me because of an issue with keys, never did. This after other guests and the next day staff stated this was an ongoing issue. Being honest and upfront about it rather than giving guests the run around would help. I was on a trip for a memorial service across country and this was just an unecessary hassle,
great place for a random stay. walking distance to food & drinks. gas is across the street. indoor skydiving @ IFly is also walking distance. friendly staff, clean rooms, free hot breakfast, & easy to book.
Beware. This place is absolutely the worst place to stay at. I showed up at 3 pm and was told to wait for 30-40 minutes because my room wasn't cleaned yet. I had no problem with that; I understand that people can get behind, so I waited. After waiting another 20 or so minutes, I was told that my card had blocked my reservation and therefore it was cancelled. The front desk person said I wouldn't be charged, so I decided to find another hotel. At the other hotel, I was treated a thousand times better, and everything was okay. However, later that night at 10 pm, I was charged for the room! I tried calling to speak to someone that night, but the person who answered didn't seem to care at all. They pretty much didn't answer properly, and I had to repeat myself multiple times because they kept getting off the phone, walking away, and saying "mhm." I wasn't yelling or anything; I was very calm. It's been almost a week, and I still haven't received any help or a call about my refund. If I were you, I'd stay as far away from this place as possible. It's a 2-star hotel for a reason
The room itself was nice and clean. The system was not taking certain cards and I ended up having to use a personal card when the room was supposed to be paid by a business acct. Guests were lined up in the lobby to report issues, including not being able to use keys, and other people already in their rooms. I left a pair of pants hanging in the closet area of the hotel. Called about it when I realized on my way home. They claim that none were turned in. The young guy working when we checked in was amazing, other staff were a bit rude.
This place is so old I could probably kneel to reach the vanity at a decent level, and I'm only 5'9". The faucet on this sink is beyond ridiculous - handle does not fit the body - crazy jerry-rigged thing. The mattress was super thin, soft and lumpy. Front desk personnel is great and helpful - they just need a major remodel here. Way overdue for sure and it's apparent
Very nice large room. Room temperature was easy to control. Great water pressure for the shower. Bed was very comfortable. No traffic sounds so was very quiet. Close to shopping and there is a great variety of restaurants in the area.
these are the fantastic crew that brought the best service in my stay here at the Best Western even my second stay here the best service the first time was awesome, I will come back. thank you all for making my stay here safe, and it was the best place close by where my daughter works. keep providing the best service.
Had issues with the original room where the key card was not working at all, went back inside to the front desk and they switched my room and no more issues thank you for making it easy to switch my room
This is a motel, with outside corridors. As such, it gets noisy as people come and go, talking loudly in the parking lot. One of our bath towels was damp when we arrived and the carpet was so dirty that my socks were black from walking around in the room. The shower kept changing temperature while we showered. And the room above us had squeaky floors so we could hear them walking around.
The price was good. The location was decent. The staff's attitude and we're excellent. The gym was convenient for anyone to use instead of having to go out of the area to workout. There is not much to say for this facility had everything I needed and they did everything just right.
I bet only had three legs. We called you report it and they didn't do anything except for tell us maintenance would fix it. We had to sleep in a broken bed. Mind you we paid to stay here. When I requested housekeeping, we failed to get it maintenance. Didn't have a problem coming in the room without our knowledge and fixing the bed but no communication definitely feeling violated. food was not ready at the time they stated it would be, nor was the food available for us. When we asked for simple fruit we were ignored. Coffee was full of coffee, grains, and undrinkable. When I checked out, the gentleman refused to even look at me, or acknowledge the fact that our stay was not great. This is not someplace I recommend specially not for the price you pay. Sorry.
I nobody seems to know why the bill looks like it dose nobody know why a Sunday night is 280 dollars and a Saturday is only 160, I will tell you because of the fire a lot of Evacuees needed rooms so the jacked up the prices pretty crappy. The GM plays dum and doesn't know why they posed it so nobody could understand it
This is the place in Roseville if you are looking for a convenient location, up-to-date amenities and a friendly, courteous, and professional staff. We stayed here twice in two weeks because we were displaced due to a wildfire, and these folks really took care of us.
To avoid a long drive home after a late event, we booked a stay at the BW. The staff was extremely helpful getting us set up with our room and arrival details. The room was clean and well equipped. We were pleasantly surprised at how comfortable the bed was and what a great night's sleep we got. Breakfast was more than expected. Overall it was a good stay at a bargain price.
Chose this hotel because of positive experiences at other Best Westerns. I reserved online using a credit card, when checking in, I told the clerk I'd actually be paying cash at check out… it was then (and at checkout the next morning) rudely told no cash and they are not responsible for the website when I suggested the “no cash” policy be highlighted… I would have stayed elsewhere had I known. Room was nothing special… clean. Room was hot and stuffy since the AC was off. Took a while to cool down.
This hotel sees a high volume of traffic. It was tough just finding the entrance with all the 18-wheeler trucks parked outside. It seems that this level of business poses a bit of a challenge to cleaning and maintaining the property, though they do fairly well with it. This was our second time staying here, and the front desk staff are always helpful and friendly, as is the full time security on the premises. The room was adequately cleaned and maintained, but they doused it good with the scented cleaning chemicals they use, to the point where it aggravated our breathing overnight. If you have asthma or COPD, this can be a serious issue. Why they do not use less invasive chemicals, I don't know, but this is a fairly common problem we encounter. With the room being hot (the AC was turned off inside and we arrived late in the evening), and it still being hot outside, we didn't want to leave the door open to air the room out, so we cranked the AC and hoped for the best. The AC in this hotel is a little older than many and it lacks a thermostat, so it's just high or low, which meant by 3 a.m. it was roughly the equivalent of a walk-in fridge so I had to get up and turn it down. The room is basic but fine, and if you're on the second floor, it's pretty quiet, though a lot of guests are business guests, so they're up and active early in the morning. Breakfast is okay, with some decent options like tiny cheese omelets, bacon, and biscuits (and gravy, if you want). All in all, a decent place to stay in Roseville. It has its challenges, but it appears that staff and management are working to make it a good experience.
Staying at this motel is all about the price paid. I was satisfied with the customer experience for the nightly rate. This property is not the JW Marriott but on the other hand, I did not pay a JW Marriott price. I am a repeat customer and will return to this hotel when I return to Roseville for business.
Hello to anyone thinking of staying here I did on Aug,7,2022. This room was as terrible as they get. The room had a smell like sour milk and the bathtub had dried poop in it. We thought we would pay a little extra for a decent room. We where sadly mistaken. This is just one man's review take it or leave it. You have been warned.
A carefully remodeled motel at reasonable prices with no hidden fees, in Roseville. There was new paint everywhere inside and out as well as new carpeting. The breakfast area was spacious. I'll stay again!
My stay here is always great. My favorite thing is breakfast in the morning and coffee. The rooms are always so nice, clean and comfortable. We usually get a downstairs room which is always nice. Would definitely stay here again. Never have any issues really.
We stayed here passing through and we found the hotel to be satisfactory for passing through. It was a good location to the restaurants and other things in the area. We always typically choose best westerns as they are usually very reliable. It was a bit of an exercise to get up to the room and I will say that the design of it that anyone outside or in the pool you can hear perfectly which is not ideal
The room was spacious, clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and professional. There was plenty of parking. And the breakfast? An excellent selection of good food! And the price of the room was certainly reasonable. I would for sure stay here again.
Our room was filthy. We stayed for a dance convention and all the other dancers rooms were the same. I definitely would not recommend this Inn. The towels were also dirty and only two were given per room. If you wanted more towels you had to go ask for them at the front office. They ended up running out of wash clothes for the guests saying they were full and had too many requests.
The hotel is right next to a freeway so you hear the noise of the freeway all night long making sleeping incredibly difficult. The beds were clean however they were very uncomfortable. The hotel only gives you two towels as well so if you plan on going to the pool or showering and there's more than just yourself staying here bring your own towels
It's okay for the most part unless your a diamonds select member. why do I say this you ask? Because ever since I became a dimaonds select rewards member I have been treated so badly it's so not okay. I honest to go got treated better as a gold rewards member then I would being a diamond select rewards member. It's not okay!!!!
Stayed here recently with my daughter for a volleyball tournament. There was trash behind the dressers and fibers of clothes or something in the bathroom as well as dead dried up spiders. Looked to be like the floors had not been mopped well in a long time, socks worn for just a few minutes turned black from the carpet. The mini refrigerator did not work. This location is right next to the freeway and is very noisy. I would not stay here unless you cannot find somewhere else. Only two towels given the entire weekend and no housekeeping even though we requested it. No extra pillows or blankets to be found and nobody answers at the front desk when you call.
I will never stay in a Best Western again after this horrific experience. Complete filth even after I asked them to re-clean my room after checking. Half eaten food under bed. Used Q-Tips on floor. Stained sheets, hair, rust and mold in shower. Cleaning lady knocked on my door at one point holding a wadded up pile of visibly dirty towels (not folded) and asked if I wanted more towels. Just terrible, avoid this at all cost.
Best hotel by far. Definitely will be back thats for sure!! There breakfast is by far the best hotel that serves the biggest and enjoyable breakfast out there. And not to mention there customer service is A++++.
Moldy shower, no staff, did not meet expectations at all. The locks were old and rickety, check in took a long time due to one person in the lobby. Then when I called the front desk for help when the tv wasn't working he kept hanging up until he wasn't busy I'm assuming … not safe for a woman traveling alone to stay at this motel and they put me a room that faces the back of a bar across the parking lot . Needs to be updated and thoroughly cleaned.
I initially started to stay here for a local Volleyball tournament. After hearing the comments from other parents who checked in before me I changed my reservation ASAP. Several parents walked into their room and found filthy messes. Doors didn't lock, dirty sheets, large spider webs, trash and food debris in room behind furniture and beds. Actual fresh fruit under beds, indicating room had never been properly cleaned or inspected. Actual pictures were shared of all of this with and a large dead rat outside with trash and rubber gloves all over parking lot. My kids stayed their with their dad and had rooms next to them fighting, cursing and screaming all night. When they called front dest to complain, nobody answered. Their room smelled of moldy material and sweaty socks. Several questionable folks in parking lot were smoking weed and parting as well. Hotel did nothing. I don't recommend staying here at all!
Cleanliness of the room disgusting, quality of food disgusting, amenities, like internet, appliances not working properly hallways dirty and people smoking in areas that are supposed to be free of disgusting cigarettes smell.
We arrived late with two kids, the room next to us partied until 3am, our beds were noisy and broken, the room smelled of cigarettes and pot, and the shower was so gross my 10 year old son was grossed out.
Fantastic crew! Most helpful and caring hotel by far! Andi and Jose are the best and of course Raj himself. Thank you for all that you guys do!!! We appreciate everything! Definitely will be back if ever need be!
Check in employee was very nice and accommodating but I asked for a different card to be charged than they had on file and they charged both cards. This has still not been fixed. Check out employee was very unprofessional and rude! Room was absolutely DISGUSTING! Smelled like an old ashtray. Bathroom floor had a large amount of dirt and hair all over it. Headboards with layers of dust. I asked for another room as I had both of my kids with me, they said they were sold out but would give me a discount, 8$ off! Absolute nightmare of a hotel!
I had put in my reservation online in notes to have extra towels & regular coffee packets in the room for my wife and they fulfilled my requests, they were very courteous and helpful and knowledgeable
First of all, I had made reservations through a different booking company and had my printed confirmation in hand when I went to the counter after the desk clerk told my husband we had no reservation. I showed the printed confirmation to the desk clerk and she insisted that they had no reservation for us through that particular booking company, but that it "does happen sometimes that they don't notify us of the reservation". It was quite the hassle; especially since we had driven quite a distance to get to Roseville. Finally, the girl told me I could get a room (even though we supposedly already booked one) and she gave me a reduced rate (which was lower than what I would have paid through that other booking company). I wish I had gotten her name but forgot to with all of the problems we had checking in. We went to dinner, came back, and our keys didn't work so I went back to the front desk to let them know. The desk clerk was a new person and looked terribly confused when I told her what went on. Then some man who may or may not have been an authority figure, came up and said "You have two dogs in your room!" I acknowledged that we did. He said "You must pay for them!" I told him both of my dogs were service animals so the charge is waived. The man, who obviously wanted to make my stay at the hotel more difficult, proceeded to tell me to provide proof, which I told him I would. The girl who checked us in was in the back room and heard what was going on and told the man that she had already obtained all of the information needed upon checking in and helped me get replacement keys. The man, whomever he is or thinks he is, interjected himself in my original conversation and has a negative attitude. The room is your typical dive room. The room smelled musty. Very uncomfortable staying there and we will not be back. Oh yes, and I was still charged by the booking company for my stay even though I had already paid with another credit card. It took over 3 weeks to get my money refunded through the booking company even though the Best Western had been paid twice for the same dirty room that we stayed in. We will never go back and the man who was behind the counter should either take a social skills class or get into another business because he's rude and not helpful at all. The reason why I gave the establishment a "poor" rating instead of "terrible" is because the girl who checked us in. She was very professional, courteous, and helpful.
If I could rate a 0 I would. I called days before my arrival to ask for a late check out. I was advised I can stay until 3 for a $50 charge. I was extremely pleased as my family had a busy day ahead. We left Saturday morning and came back shortly before 1 to find we were locked out of our room. Going to the office were your staff Katy was working advised she checked me out at noon. I tried explaining of my previous accommodations and asked repeatedly for Katy to check the notes. She ignored me me refused saying "notes on file disappear once checked out" she gave me access and said "be out by 3" We go to our room to pack and change and within the hour Katy is at our door rudely demanding we leave. I asked for her manager, she said I can call the number on the business card, which was for the front desk. My children are watching as she is confrontational. As we are leaving security is banging on our door. I go to the office to get my final printed receipt where again Katy is rude and stating there is no such thing as a printed receipt. The entire time there is a "manager" standing behind allowing this employee to speak to my family in such a manner. I had to ask for the manager to provide my receipt. Again the entire time this employee is non stop talking rudely and making comments to my family and proceeded to come around the counter clapping her hands in our faces in a condescending way. My family has stayed at many hotels and I am absolutely disgusted how we were treated here. We will never come back.
Staff was cold/non-caring when asked a question! Our Television didn't work for 1 night & was not fixed until 2nd night. Was told keys were made for 1 night only. But we paid for (2)?? Very unprofessional
Shower head loose and TV was blurry with dots in picture. Reported problems 2 days and no one came to repair problems. Worst customer service I've ever had. Showers just a tray with curtain and have no grab bars or a place to put your soap on
No Housekeeping one day had to go for towels. Two Friends was bit by bed bugs and a report was made. The keys did not work after we came back from bowling. I would not recommend this hotel. The check in process was very long.
The room smelled terrible you could tell the carpets had not been cleaned. There was a light bulb out over the sink. The beds were supported by cheap metal frames and sank in the middle when laid upon. The only reason we stayed was lack of availabilty in any other surrounding hotel that could accomadate our family. For nearly $500 one would expect at the bare minumum a clean room and a sturdy bed.
I have stayed here many times. We always feel safe and appreciate the security they have on site. The breakfast is always hot and very good. There is a large pool that our grandkids would love when summer comes. I come often for Dr. appointments.
Make sure they don't put you by the swimming pool since it's next the a busy highway! You won't be able to sleep at all! I asked them to change the room but, the front desk refused to do so! It was horrible.
Very nice clean room with comfortable beds and clean pool! Had a delicious breakfast with a lot of options. The only issue I had was the tv wasn't coming in clear. I called them but they couldn't fix it. But over all very nice friendly hotel.
Not the cleanest. Found kibble on the floor and the carpet was wet. Room smelled strange and the carpet and bath need to be replaced. Seemed a lot of money ($150/ ivy to) to pay for an old Motel 6-type of property.
Sheets were not clean or weren't changed from previous guest. When front desk was called for clean sheets we were given Attitude and received no service. The shower/tub was disgusting and there was build up of dirt and who knows what else in the corners of the floor of the bathroom. Worst hotel experience I've ever had.
I was very disappointed with this stay. Thankfully it was only one night. The bed was horrible. Hard, lumpy and you can feel the springs coming through. This place is old and dingy. Would never stay here again.
Worst hotel in Roseville with management that doesn't care about the accuracy of your reservation or having rooms clean upon arrival. One room smelled of cat urine, another room had blood on the bedding, the owner/manager stated if we didn't like we didn't need to stay there.
Shema front desk lady decided it was okay to yell at me cuss at me talk over me the whole time I was on the phone trying to sort out a problem did they caused they told me before I left for a business meeting did I was good for the day then they proceeded to wake my guest up and ruin the rest of our stay
Watch to make sure you are billed correctly and rates change daily. Also, Manager Shaima Salimi should not be in customer service, very unfriendly and not compassionate to fire evacuees. $179.00 for the last day, this hotel is not worth $179.00 at all.
5 out of 10 rooms booked for our youth basketball tournament had broken AC unit in 100°+ weather. Some were able to switch find but other were not. We were told to find another hotel at 11pm due to not being able to produce me rooms with working units. Very disappointing.
I had a problem of getting dbl chgd, tho they corrected it quickly. The pool and breakfast is amazing! Also if you get a chance, there's an awesome restaurant/lounge right next door. I didn't find it til the last day. Almond Tree Lounge.
This place needs a complete renovation and owners that give a craps about what they let their customers stay in for the price they have them pay. Dirty!! They also need new housekeepers! The woman owner is unfriendly and walks around like her craps dont stink even though her business ethic does. Dirty floors, stained bedding and sheets with holes in them. The best part was the springs in my back because the "anthing you want -$5 hooker" beat the mattress to death! Just dont!! Dont stay here its disgusting.
Extremely dirty, smelly and sketchy. Not a safe place. Just don't…. I tried to read other reviews end they seemed adequate enough for a one night stay while traveling. However, we ended up looking at the room and leaving to go stay somewhere else. The floors had not been cleaned at all. The bathroom had visible dirt in the shower, toilet and door. There was a blood stain on the carpet…. It smelled like a mix of smoke and some other horrendous smell. Oh and the beds at backwards sheets on and brown stains on the blankets… Our door to our room also didn't shut all the way so we really had to slam it and then use the deadlock to make sure no one would come in. The security guard was also super sketch and looked into our car like 5 times. Looked like he was scouting out electronics. Oh and they will take everyone's drivers licenses at the front office at check in which we have never done at any best western before. I travel all over CA and use Best Westerns but this one was extra sketchy from the get go. They will also make you wear mask regardless if you are vaccinated. I have a feeling they will be a pain with trying to get our money back after leaving despite how gross the room was.
This is the worst place in the world. Dirty dirty dirty. Manager and front desk staff should find an other form of employment. Rude. I have never been treated as badly as they treated myself. Oh yeah bed bugs!! Do not stay here. My daughter received over 100 bed bug bites that has taken over 1 month to clear up. Do not stay here!!
The only bright spot in our stay were the two clerks that were there at check in. Daryl and Anastasia. I needed them twice. Once to have the toilet seat tightened and once to replace the TV that didn't work. The bed cover was dirty. I wouldn't Book this Hotel again.
Office costumer service has a lack of care. They forgot to write in my rm service 4 next day so I had to clean my own rm out. I was there for 7night. They didnt have fresh linens to give me so all I got for 2 of us was 1 set of towels, No soup an 1 set of shampoo an conditioner. You have to get it from front desk. That's embarrassing getting your toiletries, towels handed to you in the front with other guest around. The Security guards is why we stayed. They provide a very safe stay and constant watch of property and parking lot. Good guys!
The location is great, our room was good, pretty spacious. Slightly noisy if you open windows due to nearby freeway. There are some modifications due to COVID such as closed pool & grab & go breakfast.
Bathroom floor dirty, hear doors slamming all night of other rooms, fridge made knocking noise - couldn't use it because we had to unplug it so we didn't have to deal with noise. Husband got bit by something in the room and the area of his leg looks horrible.
Do not waste your time unless you like staying in a stained toilet and smelly room with dirty sheets that looked like they haven't been changed , I let front desk know of the issue and she said she's sorry people dont follow the no smoking rule so I was screwed on having a dirty ghetto rooom and worse $120
Let's start with subpar locks in a shady area of the hotel. I was asked to step outside when I requested that guest put a mask on while getting breakfast. I asked why they don't follow the protocols for the county and the signs that they have up in their lobby. The answer was we don't like people yelling at us. I was told I can wait while she served the people in front of me. One guess was a damn near in tears and thought everybody was angry at him because of the poor attitude of the management. Rude eye rolling the full nine. I'm actually going to look at getting a refund at least partially through my insurance. For what they charge is sickening they're taking advantage of people. Best Western has an internal resolution policy and all I was offered was in an early checkout! Not even an apology. this place is asking for it I swear.Homeless people are everywhere. The rudest manager and a hotel clerk that actually threw sheets at a guest who was begging for his room to be clean. Best Western has an internal resolution policy which means the people who own the hotel would have to fix the problems they know they have which makes no sense. Pool was advertised as open but not available. Had to change rooms because of issues with first initial room and was offered zero compensation except being able to check out early on a business trip that was pre-planned. Guess that's their game. This is Roseville and not a prime location so why they think they can get away with this I don't understand. Place was broken down ice machine was dirty.
Front desk was Patient and friendly and very helpful they had variety of teas and coffee at the time I checked in so that was something extra I liked. The room was clean the bed was wonderful. Plenty of hot water. I will stay there in my next trip
Tucked away and clean. Huge room with cozy feel and bathroom amenities. I was able to book the room right away with no Hassle and pleasantly surpris a by the size and amenities available to me in the room.
Staying the the area for several weeks and this hotel was the cleanest by far and great value for the money . Staff are all very good and professional . Rooms are spotless and housekeeping is there for any needs . Safe . Quiet . No trouble in the area .
I have returned to this hotel multiple times because the price is good in the rooms are clean, if you're in the area I highly recommend staying there. Their staff is friendly and the surrounding area of the hotel is nice and clean.
Great location for access to anything around Roseville and eastern Sacramento. Near restaurants and shopping. Facility is older but well maintained. Everything in our room was in working order. Room as clean and pleasant. I will be glad when BW can bring back their hot breakfast. The grab-n-go breakfast leaves a lot to be desired. Little variety and mostly pre-packaged food items (flavored oatmeal, breakfast bar). The motel is next to I-80 and some rooms can be a noisy.
This location is in one of the busier demographics of the Roseville area - and it stays fairly busy / at capacity - however the all the staff members are courteous and realistic. Facilities are clean and management is loyal to its patrons. Highly recommend! (All the women are very kind on the eyes as well - although that may be a coincidence)
So my wife and I lost our home to the paradise fire and have been homeless since. We got a lil homeless assistance and decided to stay here which was a big mistake. The rooms were dirty under the beds and they kicked my pregnant wife and I out a half hour before checkout after we already confirmed and paid for another night with a pre paid visa gift card that we received to help pay for the room. When we called they said sure come on in and sign the paper then like I said a half hr before checkout they call us to say we have to leave at checkout. We asked why and they said it was due to the traffic we had. I went to the office to ask for the manager so I can explain that the two guys who show up to pick me up is my boss and fellow Co worker. I have seizures and cant drive so they give me rides to and from jobs. I got this job by luck. We are from butte but are here for this job. I fix sprinkler systems and I get calls all thru out the day and night and because I was picked up twice within the same night they said i had to much trsffic which is a joke cause these guys have crack heads with rooms here sliding drugs out of most these rooms. I asked to speak to management and she said that they were not here and that it was non negotiable and final. I asked the house keeps and they told me the manager was here and in the office. So the lady was either the manager or a employee who lied to a customer. I cant get my money back cause its a non refundable non transferable card so the money is gone. Do you want to trust a place that treats ppl like that, throws a pregnant girl on the streets and lies to them about who is the person to talk to. I wont ever stay in this place again and id think about sleeping in your car or even a bush. We are still sitting in the heat 2 hrs later looking for housing for the night
We stayed in this hotel for a week during the pandemic and we have to say that, regarding the facilities, in general terms it is a good value hotel. Rooms are clean, quiet motel surroundings with a lot of restaurants to choose from, no noise inside the room from the close highway, AC blows cold, nice bed linen, comfy pillows(3 per bed), microwave and quite big fridge working well,... However, more specifically and due to the specials circumstances because of the COVID disease, there are some aspects that made us lower down our rating from 4 to 3: - Employees were sometimes not wearing face masks plus the order was not being enforced in regards to customers. Which is more important, we saw maids entering the rooms without face mask. - Breakfast to go in bags were not as good as they should be, because although they were good at the beginning (milk, oatmeal, cereals, yoghurt, piece of fruit, little muffin, cereal bar) at the end of our week we were given less things, no cereal, no milk for instance, bottle of water instead. On top of that, they were closing at 9am straight. One day they refused to give me my breakfast because I asked for it at 5 minutes past 9. - Finally, nobody told us that we should have asked for room service the day before to clean our room. So we waited in vain for someone to clean our room. Actually we had to take out the trash ourselves. Summarizing, as I said in the subject, it is a good value hotel that it is just adapting to the new circumstances, I hope they do so rather sooner than later.
The desk staff was not helpful and verging on rude. The room was fine, but the other guests made me uncomfortable as they smoked on the balcony outside our room and hung around in the hallways. The pool was nice and we enjoyed that amenity being available.
I've been staying at this same hotel for years. Unfortunately I won't be going back. Simple reason, bed bugs but it goes beyond that. The confrontational nature, and lack of concern leads me to believe that they really don't care. If you are looking for a clean reasonable place to stay, this ain't it keep looking
Stayed 3 diffrent rooms 3 times ,1 upstairs 2 downstairs.same experiences.fuzzy to static tv lines going on off most tv channels.and if you like to stay nice cool in summer not the place for you.acs barely keep room comfortable if have large double bed room.roseville ,ca 95 to 110 average summer temps.too bad great location and fair prices.
Where to start lol. Well as you can see in the pictures the rooms disgusting, dirty pillows hairy and stained sheets. They didn't give us any discount only changed or room .The breakfast they offer is in a bag.we had our car break down, needed a little time to get out only till like 1230/1 to get a rental and they wouldn't let us stay past 12 . over all trash we should Of just camped and it was almost 100$ with taxes etc. (it also smelled) the lady at the dest also said “if you find a bra in the room lmk a lady said she left one in there.” Lmfao what a sh** show don't make the same mistake as us.
The GM Sheena is real brave on the phone. The rudest person I have ever dealt with. You would not talk to me like that to my face. Unless, you want to lose your front teeth. You will be hearing from me. You can count on it.
I prefer 3-4 star hotels because their standards are usually higher, but this specific hotel had the best pet policy/fees so we chose this one. I slept great, bed was really comfy and pillows were soft! However, there were stains on just about every thing. I've worked at a hotel, so I know stains don't always come out when they're washed, but those typically don't get used if that's the case. The shower curtain has lots of black stains from maybe hair dye? The top of the tile was SUPER dirty. The wall also had black spots (not mold, just real dirty). The shower did have great water pressure though. 2 of our pillow cases also had stains on them. As did the curtain for the window. The final con of the room was this weird piece of wood that was sticking straight out of the bed frame, my husband ran into it when walking up to the bed. All things associated with a 2 star hotel, but stereotypes can be broken. Without the stains, dirt in the shower and the wood, we enjoyed our stay.
If you came here trying to watch the last days of college basketball, then you would have been disappointed. The staff was very pleasant, but the building is antiquated and in need of a face lift. If you have to leave before breakfast is served, then there is no provision made for you. I wouldn't waste my money here again.
Room was nice size. Bed was comfortable and room was in good shape. Breakfast was outstanding - plenty of hot options. Ample parking. Staff was exceptional. Plenty of food and shopping close by. Had a small workout room and laundry on site.
Very nice the service was excellent, check was a breeze cause of the pre check service I received a day earlier and the staff was super friendly & nice I had a business meeting that ran over and I called to let them know I wasn't going to be out by 12 and they said no worries which made my stay even better!!
We went to see the Antique Trove next door. Very large hotel with great staff. Clean rooms. lots of parking. 2 story hotel, multi buildings, no elevator. Close to restaurants, shopping, Roseville Galleria.
Check in staff Brandon was AWESOME. We had a late check in and all we wanted to get to our room and sleep. The bed was super comfortable and clean. Room was super clean and quiet. Also the free breakfast they offer was AMAZING. Waffles, eggs, biscuits and gravy. Not to mention a variety of cold breakfast or quick options (muffins, bagels etc).
Can I was there it was a great day. Everything was perfect. I couldn't complain at all actually exceeded my expectations. But the second time it was beyond bad. I was going out on a date. And ended up late. I'll just because of arguing with the front desk girl to check me into a room that was out of service.
I was visiting the Roseville area because of my need to be close to an ailing relative and needed a comfortable, quieter place to stay for an extended stay of unknown duration. I found this hotel to be clean, comfortable, in a great location (Trader Joe's is down the road; also a Whole Foods, Sprout's and many restaurants and stores nearby). The Best Western staff was very friendly, professional and welcoming. The breakfast exceeded my expectation. It was well laid out and offered a variety of options (cereals, hot food like eggs and bacon, fruit, waffles) with toppings. The room was updated with a comfortable bed and great water pressure (and hot water) in the shower. I also liked having a decent sized refrigerator along with the microwave in the room. I did not notice the traffic noise though the hotel is located close to the freeway. The stay really met my needs and I definitely recommend it for the reasonable price.
I have stayed here a few times over the years. Location is good, price is no bad. It is an older property that needs some updating. The rooms and bathrooms were clean but the carpets need cleaning as my white socks did not stay white. Breakfast is a plus as the selection exceeds most other Hotel Beakfasts. They have hot food, eggs, bacon, sausage, potatoes and the usual waffles and other cold items. The Front Desk staff were friendly and welcomed you. Overall not a bad stay
This is one of the older BW motels but has been well maintained. Ample parking available around each of the separate buildings. Breakfast is the standard BW breakfast. Traffic noise was OK considering the close location to I-80. Convenient freeway access and close to shopping. Very friendly and helpful staff.
On November 13, 2019, I wrote a review about my October 26. 2019 stay at the Roseville Inn in Roseville, California (see One Bad Apple Spoils The Bunch) and gave the hotel a one-star rating. During the beginnings of the incident that happened that day that compelled me to give the hotel a terrible review on Trip Advisor, I called Best Western's customer service and requested for the hotel manager, Ms. Shaima Salimi, to call me when she became available. A few weeks passed with no call from Ms. Salimi. I read her response to my complaint on Trip Advisor. Her apology for “not exceeding [my] expectations“ is not sincere. Copying and pasting a standard apologetic response truly made me feel that Ms. Salimi does not care about the poor experience. I will not accept her excuse that it “was a busy weekend for us” as a defense or justification. I would have appreciated if she would have offered an explanation to clarify the accounts in relation to what happened. Her excuse is removing herself from the circumstances and not owning it. It's an alibi to get herself out of mistakes that happened. I then called and spoke with Ms. Salimi. After familiarizing her about my stay at her hotel, she then recalled who I was. She began by saying she didn't appreciate the review I gave her hotel on Trip Advisor. She elaborated that her employees were trying to find a guest room based on some specifics I had made when I was reserving the room. I couldn't refute or discuss anything with her because she wasn't allowing me to speak at all. She implied that I had involved other guests by “bothering” them to what was happening. During the phone call I sensed a lot of exasperation in her tone. I was very disappointed with the content of her response. I was even more disappointed to hear her version of my complaint was not an accurate reflection of what happened. I have no idea what her front desk clerks told her about the situation. However, whatever they told her I find is deceitful and dishonest when, in fact, it was herself that was being liberal with unfounded information. She would not acknowledge that mistakes were made. If Ms. Salimi had acted in a good faith effort to address and remedy the situation, I would have considered updating my terrible review to at least a very good review on Trip Advisor. But she didn't. It's important for Ms. Salimi to remember that feedback is not a personal attack, but more of a reflection on how guests experience a hotel's service. Ms. Salimi should accept the feedback and learn from the key points.
This place was terrible from the start, I should have trusted my gut and walked away at check-in! The ladies at the check-in desk gossiped about co-workers while they were checking me in. There were kids smoking weed outside their room, which happened to be next door to my room, and they didn't not care as I walked by with a child. The breakfast options were terrible and made in a terrible manner. The shower water pressure was the worst I've ever had at a Best Western! There were stains on the towels, and when my husband took them to the front desk to exchange for clean towels the front desk clerk looked like it was not surprising at all that the towels were dirty, like we were the weird ones for expecting clean towels in our room. We could hear the people in the room next door all night long. The parking area was not very well lit. Everything was just bad!
This property tries but unfortunately misses the mark. Registration went smoothly with a friendly efficient staff. The rooms, especially along the Interstate 80 side, were exceptionally noisy. Cosmetically attractive. Carpet, bedding wall covering but look closely and you'll discover 40 years worth a rot and abuse. Cracked tiles, chipped paint, patched over dry rot. Huge bathroom counter but with only one sink. Toilet paper like very cheap tissue paper (bring your own),mattresses have passed their prime, pathetic television and a noisy heating/cooling unit. Compared with other local properties competitive rate but know what you're getting for your $$$.
We have really enjoy our stays at Best Western Hotels, and they have become our go to hotel of choice. However…..On 10/26/2019 after a long drive from Oakdale, California my wife and I arrived at the Best Western Roseville Inn in Roseville, California. Angela and Taylor were two ladies working the front desk. At approximately 3:30 p.m. we arrived and I identified myself to the front desk clerk, Angela, and as already having reserved a room. Angela, stated the hotel did not have any rooms available. I immediately felt an unsettling feeling. My wife's chronic back pain was throbbing and we'd just spent all day in the car, including a long delay in heavy traffic coming through Sacramento. I informed Angela that I had booked the room back in early October with a credit card to guarantee the reservation. I even showed her a hard copy printout of my reservation. I asked her why there weren't any rooms available. She stated she didn't know why. A hotel is supposed to check their bookings in the morning so they can pre-assign its rooms. It's readily apparent this wasn't done. I asked if she knew the problem was because there weren't enough housekeeping staff to service all the rooms. Angela said she didn't know. I asked her if she could call housekeeping by way of a two-way hand held radio and find out if there were any rooms available. Angela said they were not in possession of any radios to do so. The no-available room problem I had could have easily been avoided if the front desk agents had reliable communication to know if any rooms were or were not available. She then suggested that we could go to the Best Western Plus on the other side of Highway 80. I stated that was not acceptable because a hotel should never send us packing particularly when we have a record of our booking. I am a long time Best Western Reward's program member which is supposed to be less likely that I would be “walked” (arrange for accommodations of equal or better grade) to another property. It's pretty pathetic considering how long ago we made the reservations. We were very dissatisfied. I am justifiably angry at how this was handled. The law of contract is clear about imposing duties on hotels. A room reservation is a contract, which a hotel is legally obligated to honor. I then asked to speak to the hotel manager, Ms. Shaima Salimi. Angela stated that Ms. Salimi was not available. I then advised Angela to grant me the first guest room that became available. As I waited for the first room to become available, travelers were still coming in to rent rooms. Some of the travelers were being turned away and told there were no rooms available. Some were even told they could try the Best Western Plus on the other side of Highway 80. After a while, I began to notice that some of the travelers were being checked into rooms. I asked a guest as she was leaving the lobby if she had been assigned a room. She said she had. I then approached Angela and reminded her that I specifically had advised her that I was to be granted the first available room. I told her I saw that it seemed other travelers were being given preference over my request, especially as being a long time rewards member, to be granted the first room that became available. The other front desk clerk, Taylor, stated the room that was just assigned was a “special” room, which indicated it was a handicap room. I approached the woman who just left the lobby if her room was a special or handicap room. She said it was not. At this point, my patience was taken to a new high. Taylor had deliberately lied to me. I approached Taylor and informed her that she had not been truthful with me. She said nothing in her defense. I then demanded I was to be given the next room. One hour later at about 4:30 p.m., I contacted and spoke with a Best Western customer service agent and complained about the entire situation my wife and I were going through. After complaining in detail, the agent apologized for the bad disservice. The agent suggested if I wanted to seek compensation. I told him absolutely yes! He stated he would follow up with my complaint by contacting the hotel manger, Shaima Salimi, and for her to contact me. Another half hour went by when we were finally given a room. We will not be returning back to the Best Western Roseville Inn. This was the worst experience we've ever had a Best Western hotel. This horrible experience makes me wonder if Shaima Salimi has any educational degrees in Hospitality and Event Management. I strongly believe a reservation is a binding contract consisting of mutual promises. An agreement by a hotel to provide the accommodation at the quoted rate, and the client agrees to pay constitutes a binding contract. As of this writing, 11/04/2019, I have not received a response from the Shaima Salimi.
We have stayed at this location many times over the years while attending an annual regional show. The quality of the overall experience has deteriorated with the rooms being dirty, smelly, and not well maintained. The grounds are nice, but we felt generally unsafe. Hate that what was once a favorable location is no longer our go to.
So it was easy to get to and staff was friendly. The breakfast was great and hot. I would come back again . The only issue was when going over the pet policy which we have filled out at other pet friendly Bedt Western Hotels it made reference to a blanket for the bed being provided the staff seemed unfamiliar with the policy or what was provided .
20 rooms so we got a reduced rate which was important for a large family. Hotel is convenient to everything. Galleria mall up the street, lots of restaurant choices. Close to the freeway but not too close.
The hotel appeared good on first look. Room was less than expected in clean. There seemed to be a lot of men hanging outside of their trucks smoking outside of the rooms. Do not get a room in the building next to the pool. Found a person sleeping in truck with trash outside of vehicle. One person to check all guests in at 5:00 PM. Line up of 4 guests. Intranet was very poor.
The room location was next to the freeway - extremely noisy. Shower was not working... I reported the problem, but no-one arrived to fix the issue. Breakfast was well stocked and was very good. Check-in was easy and comfortable.
This hotel is loud, outdated, and not friendly if you book online. The room they put us in was the worst for parking and noise level. They actually told it it was better not to book online! The best part of the room was the large shower even though there was no place to put the soap except on the floor!
Dirty rooms, outdated, smell like weed and smoke , in my room. Only one washer/ dryer available. They knew 5 teams were staying at the hotel and didn't prepared and organized for this. Stay away from this dirty and motel!!!!!
We traveled with a soccer team and unfortunately had to stay at this hotel. Staff was super unfriendly. Multiple rooms were foul smelling. Lots of fighting in rooms around the hotel. A family found bugs in the room and had to leave. Find another hotel if you can.
I would be reluctant to spend another night here. The room is not very clean. Lumpy mattress. Towels are not replaced without asking for them. The tv reception is so bad that the tv is not watchable. The shower head pressure is too hard & not adjustable. The breakfast is terrible. Not much choice if you don't want carbs. The noise is awful in the room. Train and slamming doors constantly.
The staff was very friendly upon arrival. The beds were among the most comfortable we've slept in. Breakfast was a big surprise! Different types of omelettes, waffles, fresh fruit, yogurt, cereal, bacon, hashbrowns, etc.
BW Roseville is centrally located near the Galleria and close to the freeway. It has a full-on, restaurant-variety daily breakfast with food to go if you're on the run. Wonderful, helpful staff, good parking and near the freeway but surprisingly quiet. I stay here every year with my aged Mother for 10 days, and the staff is always cheerful and accommodating to all our requests/needs. I really enjoy this hotel.
It was a pleasent stay, The rooms were clean and comfortable. The staff were all very kind. For the price you cant beat the quality We are planning our next stay at thr Roseville Best Western Thanks to all the wonderful staff they work very hard to make your stay enjoyable
The rooms are very clean and comfortable and the staff is very helpful! It hardly felt like a hotel room. Vicki was extremely helpful, courteous, and prompt! I will be staying at this Best Western again.
This was the worst experience I've ever had a Best Western hotel. Mainly because the staff was both rude and indifferent to our concerns and requests. Things didn't work and we got no help in getting them fixed. The staff was rude when we checked in and remained unpleasant.
First they wouldn't take my $20 gift card because i didn't have the print out but had the numbers on my phone. I've been to other locations that take the number. took pretty long to check in at 11:30pm, could not connect my tablet to the wifi, said it wasn't a secure connection, shower area had a stained curtain.
Quite honestly I didn't know what to think when I drove to the Motel. There was 1 ambulance and 3 cop cars. I quickly found it was a medical emergency. Tanya was on duty. She was polite, professional & humorous. The room was totally cool spacious, excellent A.C., quiet. Just alot nicer than expected. When vending machine did not dispense my soda Tanya and the lady working with her gave me two! I believe the staff really care about your stay with them. Ps. Two days later my wife came with me and it eas perfect. Bigger room !
We stayed at The Best Western Roseville Inn for a Jehovah's Witness Convention and were very happy with our stay. The rooms were nice and clean, the staff very friendly and the breakfast was great! We would definitely stay here again.
Front desk staff was efficient and polite at both check-in and check-out. Lots of choices at breakfast. Quiet room, clean. Overall, a very nice stay. Easy, short distance to where I needed to go over the weekend. No loud guests, noise from other rooms or from the parking lot. Important to me: there are bath mats in the shower/tub.
Enjoyed our stay here, rooms were clean, staff efficient and helpful, and it's always great to have a nice breakfast included in room price. Also enjoyed having Trader Joe's, Grocery Outlet and Lorenzo's Mexican Restaurant close by. Look forward to our next stay here. Thank you!
high-speed internet? more like no internet at all. Could not connect to the WiFi with several devices. Drove 4 hours for a wedding and we had a deal for the wedding party to be in the same general area. We were spread throughout three different buildings. Pretty pathetic considering how long ago we made the reservations. Blood was found on towels when we checked in and a lighter and ashes was in the corner of my NON SMOKING room. very dissatisfied.
Although I had trouble with my room assignment. The front desk went above and beyond to accomadate me. I I've been assigned a room that was already occupied and then upon reassignment was assigned a room that the air conditioning didn't work the girl working the front desk above and beyond to get me situated and comfortable definitely her Hospitality was the highlight of the trip
If you don't have GPS, good luck finding this place. When you call, asking for directions, don't. Take exit 103, Douglas street, and go to the Arco station. They will help you much better than the Motel staff.
We came to Sacramento for a Convention of Jehovah's Witnesses. The quality of the place is great. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. The price was great. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. All in all very satisfied. Thank You Best Western! Scott M.
The worst hotel I have ever not stayed at. Ended up leaving, front desk staff was horrible, rude, and the place had homeless ppl right next to the ro ok m they gave me. Wouldn't hive .e another room, so we left. I do not reccomend this hotel.
Really enjoyed the stay here at Best Western. Close to many shopping areas and about 5 min away from a Peets. Only 20 min from downtown Sacramento. Room was comfortable and clean. Nice big refrigerator. Staff was friendly and accommodating. The complimentary breakfast was also good.
There is no housekeeping after 6pm when we check in and found our white sheets stained we got a room change but the door couldn't be opened, and then another room change which was ok but not the best.
noisy because property line is freeway. had no hot water at sink . Lots of construction workers and truckers stay here and we did notice lots of tweekers. rooms have bad odor and customer service sucks
Everything my spouse and I needed was available, including a toothbrush he forgot to pack. The bathroom could use one or two more towel racks, I think. Air conditioning and/or fan option was available in the room. Everything was in working order.
Professional, courteous and understanding to my last minute reservation and unexpected hospital visit, Im from San Bruno and were in the area for a wedding and my son in law became ill, he's from Wisconsin and required surgery, I eventually made it to the wedding with the relief that my reservation was covered
On June 1, 2019, my employee and I checked into room 120 at the Best Western at 220 Harding in Roseville CA. We always do a check for bedbugs and roaches as we are in hotel rooms frequently, not wanting to take vermin home. We found none of these, but did find a used syringe between the mattress and box spring in the bed closest to the window. I immediately called the front desk and was asked to take a picture and bring it to her. I have the pictures available. We were switched to room 165. No bugs or syringes were found in this room. I am asking that the room be comped based on this incident. We stay at this property over 20 times a year, I am. A diamond member. I have emailed the management 2 times since Sunday, giving at least 24 hours between emails. No reply has been made. I have also contacted best western directly through their facebook page. I received an automated reply. Not only is the issue being ignored, I am being ignored. I am justifiably angry at how this has been handled. I have an update. I was charged full price for the room. I was offered half off my next stay. I should have left and gone elsewhere, but up until this incident, I was always treated as a valued customer. Now I know better. Shellie Chapman
I was most impressed with the cleanliness. Most hotels are just ok clean to pass but this hotel clearly takes pride their excellent cleanliness. I very much appreciate this as I stay more than just one night and it is my temporary home.
Everything about Best Western - Roseville Inn was great and the staff - especially Vicky, were all so helpful. The rooms were clean, the wifi was great, the weather didn't cooperate so we didn't check out the pool area, the breakfast was also excellent, had a wide variety of choices to choose from and it was always hot. Will stay here again when in the area!!
They accommodated my need for a quiet room. Check in was very pleasant. Staff was very nice. Breakfast waffles always good. Would love to have more plant-based options. Room was nice and quiet. Enjoyed the stay!
Let's see, bathroom so small you had to go all the way inside and stand by shower to close door which missed toilet by inches. Toilet ran all night, complained next day and still same problem. Had to use trash can to fill tank with water to flush #2. House cleaning came about 4 p.m. in afternoon. When they did come, that night pulling sheets back, my son found a long black hair under his pillow and I found one on the sheet at the bottom of my bed, disgusting, but at lease it was from someone's head. Walked into room and had slight cigarette smell, I hate smoking. Walked outside and people smoke on second level so unless window closed you smell that too. Walk down the stairs and see butts on the ground. Layout of property is multiple buildings, reminds me of something like section 8 housing. Front desk people were nice but rather have rude people and clean, working rooms. I would spend an extra $10-20 night and go elsewhere.
My family and I had been traveling all day and my one year old son was getting very fussy being in the car the original place that we had booked could not accommodate us so we decided to stay at the Best Western roseville inn .when we got there there hotel clerk Vicky was wonderful she helped check me in gave me a wonderful Room and even gave me a goody bag for my very upset toddler who is very happy to finally be out of the car over all it was a great experience and a highly recommended location.
Great place to stay in business or placer with the family very close to a varied stores and shopping malls as well great restaurants If you need place close to all this attractions please stay here is very nice place and the location is great,
I have really enjoyed my stays at Bestwestern Hotels, and they have become my go to hotel of choice. I really like that Bestwestern is pretty much everywhere I travel. The Bestwestern has always provided me clean rooms and lots of amenities. People and families traveling and on the go for business or recreation will really appreciate this. Among the services Bestwestern offers is a daily breakfast which really saves you time before getting on the road. Bestwestern Breakfast serves up lots options to get your day started. The overall appearance of Bestwestern and the cleanliness and the amenities the my offer make the stays at Bestwestern very pleasant.
This is the most guest friendly hotel you could ask for. My stay here was excellent. As a senior, I appreciiate the courtesy, friendliness and not the least service I was given here. This was like home away from home.
My family and I came in late and were looking for a hotel that we can get a room quick and easy at an affordable price. We sure did choose the right place not only was it affordable it was very convenient very close to the Freeway entrance. When we first walked in the door (( Melanie and Vicki )) greeted us with a big smiles, I'm sure they both could tell we were very tired because We were in and out of there extremely quick they were both very professional and kind I've never been so happy with the hotels customer service and support from any worker that needs two employees. If I was the boss I would definitely promote Vicki and Melanie to be managers, that's if they aren't already. The rooms are very clean and breakfast was delicious.
Im always pleased with the Bestwestern brand. Nice beds, spacious rms. Good breakfast, and ample parking. This was a great location for the job we were working on. We sleep during the day and I have no complaints about the noise levels during the day. I'd stay here again, and in fact, I already have a future reservation.
These people did everything they could to make me happy they are very personable Vicki Anna and Tony we're very helpful and down to earth.I highly recommend this place it's clean , and comfortable, so be sure on your next trip to Roseville just stay here you won't regret it
I travel all the time...this was the dirtiest place I have ever encountered. I booked online and nobody could figure out how to look up my registration which was not really a big deal but did take them 45 minutes to get me checked in. When I finally got to my room it took 3 separate people to get the room key to work. The grounds of the hotel looked as if nobody ever picked up the trash that was constantly blowing out of the dumpsters. The room had one working light and continually ran out of hot water.
Great place! Close to fwy ,shopping and food . Very friendly staff, clean and quiet. After a very long drive from Orange County this was exactly what I needed. I would highly recommend this establishment !!
Definitely noise all night. (Sound system, people yelling) late at night too like we fell asleep probably at like midnight. Hammer under the bed and socks too (obviously didn't clean well) Room wasn't ready at check-in. Front desk staff was rude during check in. There's a work project truck picking people up in the parking lot. Both sets of room keys we had didn't work. We used a key once to get in and it never worked again. They gave me trouble when trying to even get the second set of keys.
Hotel stay, the sink faucet head turn 360 degrees was a little hard to find the hot and cold. They're items left underneath the bed from previous guests. The carpet seemed a little dirty or stained. The bed seemed a little uncomfortable.
We pulled into Roseville about 9:30 at night after a very long day on the road. I was ready to just check in and get to bed. Thanks to the efficient, polite, and helpful desk staff, that was exactly what happened. A great night sleep and woke to a sufficient, hot breakfast. We were able to return to the road, well rested and happy. Thanks!
Pros: the rooms are huge! You could fit 12 rollaway beds in a room it's so big. Also, I paid for a queen and got a king bed. Breakfast doesn't cost money. It's a roof over your head. Cons: everything else. The rooms are dark and cavelike. There is no shelf in the shower to set your soap or razor and the grout dirt was scary. Check-in was soooooo slow. Breakfast was.... well all I can say is that it was free and you get what you pay for. Because the rooms are so big, the tv is 75 feet from the bed. Wouldn't stay here again.
Had a blast with my friends and family! Breakfast was amazing! Very clean! Staff was so polite. Spoke with a staff member Desiree and she helped us out with locations to visit while in the area! Went above and beyond to accommodate us! Great service!
When I arrived I was greeted by a young lady named Desiree! She was very polite and respectful. Desiree made my family and I feel very welcome! I will totally recommend this location to friends and family!
If I could select a rating lower than the first bubble being a 1, I would've. First time in the room, which was Thursday, half of the front of bathroom door is broken where a mirror is attached. Maint man comes and never comes back, only states that he knows and he will remind the desk. Take a shower and the base of shower creeks every step you take. Cleanliness of room is well below standard and that is not even having the highest standard out there might I add. There was barely any toilet paper on the roll, no spare rooms anywhere in the room. I had to have my son call down to the desk and ask for TP while I was in restroom. There was hair in the shower, on the shower mat, and some black substance on a so called "clean towel" that was laying over the dirty mat over the side of the tub. There is mold forming in the bathroom as well. Also, the grass little section by the pool has so much faces from animals that you could not walk normal and not step in something. Love that hotel is per friendly, even though we did not bring ours, but you must have some standards in regards to tour guests. And if your guests are not going to clean up after their own animals, that responsibility is now on the staff of this establishment. I can go on and on about the interior of the room and what not but I will end this by saying the front desk clerk Nicki (may be mispelled) is very rude and needs help with customer service. When someone is speaking to you and trying to explain something to you,it is disrespectful and also unprofessional to cut them off. Also, one should never assume a complaint has not been made by continually saying you've been at the desk all night and have received no calls from my room. Correct, because i complained the first night and nothing was done about it. Now I am bringing it back to your attention and you will not even let me finish a complete sentence/statement. That was the icing on the cake!! Worst establishment we have stayed at and we have stayed at several. Go somewhere guys. I do NOT suggest this BW in roseville on Harding Blvd. I took a video of my claims of the door and the hair and dirtiness but it will only show the picture. If manager or anyone is actually concerned, I can show video as proof to anyone.
Great place to stay away from home, great location close to fwy an shopping mall, nice room's close to good restaurants easy access from the freeway I look forward to stay in my next business trip Thank you,all
I should say ,it was a very pleasant stay that helped up to spend a very relaxing 3 nights & 4 days when we were looking a round for a new house..... So it was so much relaxing at night when we needed to unwind after a long day jumping from a house to another, The location is unique...
Clean, quiet safe hotel within walking distance of restaurants and stores. Staff is very friendly. Management is available and ready to listen. Rooms are great price and clean. Jacuzzi rooms equipped with flatscreen TV, microwave and fridge. Free wifi. Breakfast is normal hotel breakfast. But in the evening they put out the BEST cookies for guest. My stepson likes to watch the big trucks pass by on freeway. Daniel & Carolyn
The staff is great and rooms are clean and always ready at check in. If you need a good place to stay I highly suggest giving this place a stay. The suite I stay in regularly is awesome with a whirlpool for a nice relaxing dip!
I've been a fan of Best Western for years, but never experienced the poor quality like that of the Best Western Roseville, CA. We booked two nights well in advance, but on arrival were told that the only available room was upstairs (NO ELEVATOR!!!) and far from the parking lot and next to a noisy freeway. When we got to the room the key was every difficult to open, and we were given no instructions that it required a special trick to use it. On the way to the room we passed a disgusting looking pool (dingy green water and questionable things laying on the bottom) and walked on a walkway that looked like several people had puked on it. Inside the room is very dark. The TV remote control only works if you stand directly front of the TV and very close to it. The shower water would not turn on, and we had to call a service guy to turn it on for us. We booked this place because we are traveling with a dog. There is a large grass space to walk dogs and dispensers for poop bags, which are all empty. We could not leave fast enough, and would never consider staying a second night as we had planned. This is a very black mark on the usually great Best Western brand. DO NOT STAY AT THIS PLACE!!!
I've stayed here several times before and will stay here again. This is a very large property. All the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast area is large and offers a good selection.
When I pulled into the parking lot I thought I had made a big mistake. This is in a bad part of town and there is a lot of garbage around the site. When we checked in we found it to be clean and comfortable. We were on the side that doesn't back up to the freeway, so I imagine our room was a little more quiet. There was a slight smell in the room—maybe from the air freshener they used, but it was nothing we couldn't tolerate. Staff was courteous and the hot breakfast was ready by six am for early travelers which was nice. If using the pool is important to you look for somewhere else as the pool is very green with algae. We wouldn't normally have booked something like this, but everything in Roseville was booked for some kind of special event. This suited what we needed.
I have been coming to Best Western Roseville every 6 months for 3 years. I have never been disappointed. This motel, located in the heart of Roseville just minutes from the infamous Roseville Galleria and minutes from the freeway (without the noise). It is a friendly place with a genial, efficient and helpful staff with a home-town atmosphere. It offers a full and satisfying breakfast and sports a large, welcoming pool, ice machines in every building, and self-serve laundry services. Since moving out of the country, I've been coming here for the past 3 years. The staff is outgoing, friendly and attentive to guests' needs. Josephine, head of Housekeeping, runs a tight, efficient crew, immediately responsive to room requests. Maintenance crew Carlos and Jesus cheerfully helped me with moving luggage and furniture. Front desk professionals Nikki, Stephanie, Yolanda & Gaby kept track of my online order deliveries and responded quickly to any questions or requests. My experience with BW Roseville reminds me of "Cheers" where everybody knows your name. They care for their patrons, and it shows.
this is a terrible place I stayed at a lot of Best Westerns But this was the worst place.Every thing was broken The toilet The microwave The bathroom was filthy WiFi did not work This place needs a lot of fixing
My husband and I stayed 3 nights while visiting family in the area. The hotel is located next to a main road with easy access to freeways. Check-in was smooth and staff were friendly. The main office is in a separate building from the hotel rooms. Rooms have outside doors with parking in front, and there are no elevators to the 2nd floors of each wing. The concerns started once we got in the room, I checked the bed for bugs, which I do in every hotel as a frequent traveler. I found two condoms in their wrappers under the mattress, and the mattress cover was dirty and obviously not cleaned or replaced in awhile. The sheets were clean, and there were no signs of bugs. We could have asked for another room, but let it slide. The room decor was very basic with good sink counter space, a separate room for tub and toilet, larger than normal hotel fridge, microwave, and large flat screen tv. The AC and free wi fi worked well, and the shower head was great. The toilet seat was loose and needed fixing, but otherwise the room seemed well maintained. The bed was comfortable and overall we slept well, although you could hear the sound of people thumping in the room overhead. The parking lot seemed a bit sketchy with not enough lighting at night and people coming and going. Many of the guests in our section seemed to be construction workers with their business trucks outside which you could hear starting up early in the AM. Free breakfast was good with breads, eggs, sausage, bacon, fruit, yogurt, coffee, etc. We were gone all day and came back at 10:30 PM for night #2 to discover that our room had not been cleaned, so we had to go to the front office to get new towels. Desk staff said they would talk to the cleaning personnel the next day. When we returned the next day at 10 PM for night #3, the key cards wouldn't work so I waited with our stuff outside the door while my husband once again went to the office, this time to get new cards. When we got in the room, it had only been partially serviced...fresh towels and soap, but the bed had not been made up. We did alert the manager before leaving to all of the issues and were offered extra points on our loyalty account. Overall I was very disappointed with this Best Western. When we visit the Sacramento/Roseville area again we will stay elsewhere.
The breakfast bar had a large selection during our stay. Fresh fruit. Fresh Waffles, Bagels, muffins, scrambled eggs, bacon, hasbrowns, pastries, yogurt, cereal, oatmeal, coco, coffee, fruit juice. Even though the hotel was full there was always enough breakfast each morning. The room and bathroom were asthetic except for the carpet being a little worn. The in room refrigerator seemed new as well as the furniture and counter tops. The sheets were clean and fresh looking. Our A/C was not excessively noisy but it did not keep the room a constant temp as I would have liked. Sometimes during the night the room felt warm, when the AC kicked on the room turned cold. We were unable to get two beds for our stay, so we asked for an extra blanket and there was no problem with our request. Though I never met our maid she did an excellent job cleaning the room and putting the king bed back together. The pillows were square, there were four on the king bed. The office staff were polite and helpful when I made inquires. The hotel was close to the freeway. Trader Joe's was nearby, and we walked to the nearby restaurants for dinner twice during our five day four night stay. The negative things I mentioned were not that bad. If I could have I would have given four and one-half stars. Obviously, there is nothing like you own bed at home.
beds were comfortable and nice, large fridge in the room, showers were powerful, all staff was very friendly and accommodating, responsive, good full breakfast, wifi in the room. Only challenge was the floor above was very squeaky as the guest walked around. Have a small gym for workouts
The staff is helpful and the rates are very reasonable for a comfy night on the way into the mountains. Room service helped us with extra towels. We extended our stay at the last minute to two nights and received the same low rate. We had several rooms for extended family with both room types; King and 2 Queens. The 2 Queen rooms were on the 2nd floor, far West side of property and the King was downstairs facing the lobby. The 2 Queens had better/newer AC units and super big refrigerators with good freezer, while the King fridge didn't work very well. Breakfast is what you would expect, with plenty of choices between waffles, bacon, eggs, yogurt, hard-boiled eggs, fresh fruit, english muffins, pastries, peanut butter, juices, etc. We got our coffee at Starbucks as usual, because we don't care for the diner coffee.
looks crappy from outside and was a different hotel at some time but has been bought by best western but has been renovated inside of the rooms. bf was ok but need yogurt. there is another bw just 2 mile away on the other side of the hwy 80
Wanting a quiet room and an upgrade for being a Best Western member, we were offered a suite on a bottom floor upon arriving. We don't like people above us so were offered a quiet room where business travelers stay. After a long hot day, we decided to freshen up but found no toiletries. Then we noticed one of the pillows was askew and there was no tablet next to the phone by the pen. We called the office and someone immediately came with a notepad and toiletries. When we mentioned the pillow, she noticed it had no pillow case. We were given another room on the other side of the building and compensation for each night of our two day visit because of the inconvenience. The next day we left after breakfast and visited with friends until returning 12 hours later. Our room was open and being at the top of the stairs, all the people who filled the rest of the building had access to all our belongings for over twelve hours. After closing the door to the office to tell the staff, we returned to discover our keys no longer worked. Another visit to the office. Finally, we returned for the evening to find no toiletries: no soap to wash our hands, no soap for the next day's shower, no lotion, no shampoo. Another call to the office. The next day at checking out, we told the manager about the open door. Because we were compensated for the first inconvenience, we were told that was all they could do. Now we wonder about future visits and the security we wish to have and the inconvenience of having to redo keys and get toiletries and have rooms made up appropriately.
The girl at check in was great for our 3 day stay. I have a disabled wife who has a hard time getting about. As a result, we only asmed to have the room cleaned once and did not eat their breakfast. On checkout morning, my wife was having a hard time getting her bloid sugar down. I called for a late check out and was tol 12 noon. at 1202 they were knocking at my door. We were all packed up with everything by the door. I explained I was taking everthing down, but my wife was going slowly. I was all packed up by 1220 and walked into the lobby to grab a cup of coffee. There I was scolded by a girl at the front desk, who gave me a minute by minute rundown of my trangression and then charged me $50. Was I late, yes. House keeping wad no where near our room. Also, the scolding and skowl were unprofessional.
We are part of a skating team and traveled to Sacramento for a regional competition. We were able to get a good price, but had a bad experience here. 1st night discovered the sheets were dirty and when I called down to front desk to get clean ones, Nikki or Nicole brought up damp ones that I was then expected to put on the bed myself. I realize this is not a luxury place, but was not expecting that I would have to change the sheets myself. When I asked for dry ones she became very impatient, and rude and brought me 2 fitted sheets and said that the issue would not be resolved that night. No apology from her or the clerk I talked to the next morning. We will not be back at this hotel next year for Regionals. This place left us with a bad unwelcome feeling. It's too bad, because had even one clerk or manager apologized, we would have returned next summer. The low price cannot make up for dirty sheets and really poor customer service.
This place was very clean and it was apparent that everyone was working hard to keep it clean but I had a few problems. I had very recently had both of my knees replaced and I had reserved a two bed handicapped room on line. as I was traveling with my adult grandson. When I got here I was told that the handicapped rooms had only one queen bed so we were assigned a room with two queen beds. Using a cane I couldn't get to the room alone because of the high steps and no handrail. It was very frustrating as well as irritating. They could easily put some wrought iron handrails by a few of the steps to make it easier on everyone. Because of the low price and the decent breakfast I would stay here again but only because my knees will heal and I won't have the steps problem.
This was a great hotel but their response to a fight in the parking lot at 2 am was slow and I never got back to sleep. If you leave a hotel exhausted you either had a great party or the folks next door were having one.
We have stayed here in the past, and keep coming back when we're in Citrus Heights. That says it all! The rooms are pretty quiet, everything works properly, breakfast is well-rounded, restaurants and shopping are within a 5 minute drive. Easy access from Interstate 80.
Nikki and Ylonda were amazing, fun, kind! They really making a total stranger feel like they came home! The room was clean, comfortable and the bed was a cloud. Breakfast delicious and hot food stayed hot. So good and yummy.
We stayed for a week in the hotel, the rooms have a good size and are clean. The staff is very friendly, and breakfast is included in the room rate as well as the Swimmingpool and gym which is also available as well.
I picked the Roseville Inn because of both price and proximity to business meetings I had in Roseville. The proximity was as I expected, the value I received wasn't! Frankly, I was surprised at the quality of the facility. I knew the hotel was older and at the price point I didn't expect an updated, spotless room or any amenities. I was pleasantly surprised! The lobby area is very nicely finished, bright and roomy. Breakfast was good, coffee was excellent. The greeting I received upon check in was warm and welcoming. The room was also a surprise, very clean, comfortable bed, good pillows and a nice powerful shower. Every touch-point was of higher quality than I expected. I'll be back again! Good work!
I like the location and the room was clean and comfortable. The lobby was clean and comfortable as well the breakfast area. The staff was very polite and accommodating as well. I would stay here again for business or even leisure time.
my husband is somewhat handicapped. we always request a 1st floor room. some BW will not guarantee a 1st floor room which then presents a problem but they always manage to work it out to our satisfaction.
I have always been treated to the Great Guest Service from this property. Michelle and her team always go out of their way to help and accommodate. Desiree , Niki, Maria and there intire Front Desk Staff as well as Housekeeping seem to always be there to help. Great staff and obviously excellent training.
I have stayed at this location every time I have a project in the Sacramento area. The entire staff is welcoming, friendly and most important, attentive to any needs that I may have. Nikki, at the front reception, is always friendly, and knows my name on site! A wonderful change from the norm of people just going to work to make a buck!! If you forget something simple as TOOTHPASTE, they take care of it in short order. My recommendation speaks for itself. Thank you to all of the employees that care about the consumer.
We were travelling from Wyoming to the Bay area for work. We had gone through Truckee during a mild snow storm and were tired of travelling. I noticed this Best Western and decided to stop in and see if they had any CLC rooms available. Even though travelling conditions were not the greatest, they still had vacant rooms and we were able to stop. The staff was friendly and helpful, the hotel was easy to get into and out of from the Interstate, and the bed was extremely comfortable.
Remodeled room. Comfortable bed. Only about a mile from the Galleria and all the shops and restaurants around there. Great full breakfast. Waffles, biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs (artificial, but not bad), and plenty of bread/pastries. Could use more fresh fruit and yogurt, and even hard boiled eggs. Would definitely recommend.
Visited the motel for 2 weeks on business with 8 rooms. The rooms were great clean and spacious. Great flatscreen TV's fridge and microwave s in every room. The housekeeping was nice and fantastic. The sales personnel Nancy Smith and general Mgr Michelle made the stay very pleasant as they were so nice and concerned if you were a happy guest. Would definitely sty here again.
Ive been coming to the best western on harding blvd in Roseville ca for 8 months on business, and have had nothing but excellent customer service due to the night shift manager Nikki. If there's ever any problem with our rooms or reservations she addresses them immediately and has a solution to our problem. Keep up the great work Nikki!
I travel a LOT and while in Sacramento I prefer to stay in the Roseville area-every restaurant you could need, fabulous shopping and easy to reach the hi-ways! This place is big with large parking area. 3 buildings, outdoor pool area looks nice. Everything looks very neat. Rooms are big with very clean bathrooms! Very nice big and fluffy towels! Carpet isn't bad and rooms looks modern.? Good tv with flat screen and lots of channels. The management and front desk people ( Michelle, Nancy, especially) we're so professional and people friendly! Maria was super nice and Desiree was so professional! Josephine in housekeeping was also. They also had security at night-makes you feel safe. We had only one problem, a night supervisor was very abrasive and had a couple of confrontations with some in our party-??we had several rooms and she acted like we children standing outside our doors! She even yelled at them! Her name was Nikki I think-but it was quite disturbing! We were there over Super Bowl weekend and there was a lot of people hanging around outside their doors ! I'm surprised this person could act that way considering how seamless everything else was! Really like this motel and would go back! Exercise room and hot breakfast. Pet friendly.
The Check-In went smoothly but some of my friends that I brought in from the Airport had to spend time till the Front Desk found their Reservation. The Staff at the Front Desk were very helpful. Room were nice and clean expect for the carpets. My white cat had black feet. They have a nice breakfast with a great selection. Check-Out was a breeze and accurate. WiFi in the rooms was good.
We needed a place to crash while visiting my mom in Roseville. The rate for a room at this Best Western was too good to pass up. We were greeted by the most friendly gal at the front desk. No elevator so getting luggage up the stairs was rough but the room was clean and had been recently updated. The next morning we went down for the complimentary breakfast and we were impressed. All fresh food, including hot delicious eggs, bacon, etc. Hard boiled eggs and oatmeal were available. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely return next time we're in Roseville.
This is just a motel as expected. The rooms are separated in three buildings and separated from the front office and breakfast area so it is not very convenient. IMO the room and furnishing is quite plain and basic for a best western. Great location and the breakfast is pretty good.
Room was very nice with carpet and furniture clearly recently upgraded. Had refrigerator, microwave, table, chairs, and king bed. Room was quiet except for distant railroad "whistles" occasionally. Lots of fast food around, and Costco about 2 miles up the road to the east and Galleria. Looks like they contract out to railroad workers (saw trucks and workers around the property) but they were quiet. Breakfast was standard, just OK. We would stay here again.
As we checked in, the staff was very unprofessional and threatened to call the police on our group if we made any noise past curfew. I told them we would follow their rules and they kept going on about problems with other groups.
We have visited this Best Western before. The rooms have been upgraded and are nicer than before. Breakfast has also been changed so that they are serving a HOT breakfast. A really good change! People seem to be "upgraded" as well. Much nicer than before.
Front office made sure I got my GW points, they were very helpful. Parking lot is clean. The fridge was so quiet and heat/cool system ran well and was quiet too. Near shopping and restaurants. The bedding seemed new and towels were fluffy.
I was in the area for the New Year eve weekend to visit some friends in the area. I found the price for the room and location were perfect. The hotel staff were very prompt and friendly when I came to check-in. I found the Hotel room to be clean and everything function properly.
I and my husband like to stay in the Best Western hotels because they are always nice. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the service is nice and the personal are polite. The hotels have convenient location. We had stayed in different locations in California and had always had a good rest.
Hotel was attractive and clean. Rooms were comfortable and pleasant. Everything worked well. Staff were courteous and very helpful. Would definitely stay here again and recommend the hotel to friends.
The staff was friendly and helpful. Close to restaurants and shopping. Nearby the family that we were visiting so we only had breakfast and slept at the hotel. Many selections for breakfast and quick to fix any issues.
Terrific quality and service for reasonable price. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who needs to stay overnight in the area. Its location, cleanliness, quiet, excellent breakfast, fast internet, ample refrigerator, and polite and helpful personnel are exceptional.
Very noisy, freeway in your ear at all times, even "quietest" rooms. Inconsistent maid service, bed aleays made but towels were always forgotten. Very loud late at night guests that seemed to ve impervious to fellow hotel guests trying to sleep. Security/police were called and respinded.
House was under construction needed a room for a few nights And Desiree was very helpful and accomadted all my needs , room prices were very affordable and location is next to everything I need Walmart dollar store you name it I appreciate the stay
I always stay at this location when I come to the Sacramento area. The staff is very professional. The rooms are always clean, and have a small refer and microwave in the room which is really appreciated.
this is on fantastic hotel. The price is right for a great room and the breakfast exceeds my expectations. Close to Gallaria mall and lots of great places to eat. I stay here at least once a month. Tried may otter hotels in this is the on I always pick because of value for my dollar
EVERYTHING about my stay was absolutely perfect! All staff that I had contact with were very friendly, pleasant, courteous, and helpful...they were outstanding. I highly recommend this facility to everybody.
This is one of the best places my crew and myself have found in a long time. the staff are great and the rooms are very nice for the $. We will only stay here when working in Roseville. Good breakfast and clean dinning. Very quite place to stay
After my CI Travel Department for Homeland Security pick this hotel location out for me that was close to my sites I wanted to work at while assisting FEMA as a Surge Capacity Force Disability Integration Advisor, I was told that it had a two star rating for hotel overall market rating and I was a little skeptical about my stay. After checking in with the friendly reception staff, I was in for a surprise; the room setup itself and display was beautiful along with the shower awesome and the food accommodating along with a very cool and funny reception desk staff with Desiree and Maria along with the rest of the house cleaning and food preparers. A hotel like this alone would cost easy $130 a night, but was "A STEAL", that I look forward to coming back again. Terrence Gibbs USCIS.
We will never stay here again. If you do, take ear plugs, special tools to fix problems and cleaning supplies for the room. This was the second experience with this hotel and should have learned the first time.
I am a traveling safety service technician and my territory is the entire state of California. I spent well over 250 days per year on the road and I stay primarily at Best Westerns. I always get a comfortable clean room for a good value of the dollar. Best Western Roseville has exceeded my expectations because of the level of fantastic customer service!!! The room was warm and welcoming, bed comfy. I slept well!!
The room was a good size and the bedroom area was okay. The bathroom was extremely small and very dirty. The floor tile grout didn't look like it had been cleaned in years. There was dirty in the corners of the floor and in the corners of the bathroom counter. The bed frame on one bed stuck out so far from the mattress (but under the bedskirt) that my daughter got a gash in her ankle. We were on the first floor and there seemed to be a party and traffic going on upstairs all night long. We got very little sleep. The front desk staff apologized for the noise when we checked out. There were so many people in the breakfast area that we could barely get any coffee. We skipped breakfast.
Staff very friendly, clean rooms and would definitely recommend this hotel. A group of 100 people stayed at this hotel and it was a great experience for everyone. If you are traveling and need a place to rest, stay here!
Not only is the hotel close to my family, it has all the requirements of a travel destination; Nice dining, and local attractions. The staff is excellent, the rooms are quiet. There are many attractions nearby, as there are shops for any need.
Don't want to waste you money on a uncomfortable bed, Hard pillows, Small room, no breakfast and the list goes on. Stay at Best Western and get your moneys worth Everything will meet your standards and you will have a hot Breakfest!
The room was nice. The bathroom could use a better cleaning. The queen bed was comfortable. The locating was easy on and off the freeway. There are plenty of places close by to eat. I will stay at this hotel again when in the area.
Spacious, clean quite room. Check-in & check-out staff friendly and knowledgeable. Food delivery available--VERY DELICIOUS!! Lots to choose from for breakfast counters. Easy access on and off the freeway.
My stay at best western was amazing. I was on a leisure trip and just wanted something clean and safe. I checked out a few other hotels in the area & didn't feel safe. As I walked in the lobby I was immediately greeted by Maria & Nikki they were both great at their jobs. Look like they enjoyed what they do they were very helpful and kno their surroundings. I asked for recommendations for food &they knew every restaurant in town. Lol. They were great ¬ to mention the rooms look very clean and the bed was off the hook soo comfortable I didn't wnt to leave. For that I rate this place the best
Very friendly staff, well kept grassy areas, a very pet friendly hotel. Very handy location, easy freeway access, close to shopping and lots of restaurants nearby and down the road and across the freeway with easy crossings. Next door to great antiques and collectibles , the ANTIQUE TROVE.
Michele and Desiree are always a delight in the mornings. The breakfast crew is quick and clean. My room is kept in tip top shape thanks to the wonderful housekeeping services. At check in Patrica and Rajesh always have snacks and a smile to share.
This is a very nice hotel. the room was spacious and the bed was comfortable. The hotel staff is friendly & courteous. Breakfast offers a variety of choices from cereal to waffles. Housekeeping did w great job cleaning & restocking daily.
Just a business trip, one night on the road, Best Westerns are where I stay most of the time now. Tried severals others, but the Best Westerns are more consistent from city to city. I've stayed in more expensive, and you get nothing more, and I've stayed in cheaper and you get cheaper.
The floor mopped in bathroom. The shower matt was dirty with urine stains. Sheets smelled like they were musty. I did report these incidents they did apologize and would correct them. Otherwise every thing else was fine. CHandford
Clean refurbished room w/refrigerator and microwave. No usb phone chargers. Good free breakfast. Minimal sundries. Freeway noise. Trash not removed. PORN channel not locked so kids could watch. PORN channels have no place in a family hotel.
I would always recommend this location, and will stay there again next time. Easy access to everything. The breakfast was wonderful, plenty of food. Very friendly staff and helpful too. This hotel made my stay great!
Building sits next to I-80 freeway and you get a lot of freeway noise in the room at night. Rooms are old and need to be remodeled. Carpet is old and crusty. I rented three rooms for myself and employees and all three were in the same condition. Breakfast was below average at best.
Place was nice and remodeled. It is just not a good feeling to see private security walking around - the need for it I mean. Area was a little sketchy but hotel was nice. Clean room hot shower appreciated.
The Roseville Inn is not luxurious but it will do in a pinch. There are no elevators, and all the doors face the outside, so be sure to specify if you need a lower-floor room when you book. The rooms do have refrigerators and microwaves, which is nice, because there is a Trader Joe's not too far away and having a place to stash some snacks without having them go bad is nice. The refrigerator is especially convenient for breakfast needs because I can say without a doubt that the breakfast experience at the Best Western in Roseville was by far the worst experience I've ever had with complimentary hotel breakfasts. The orange juice was watered down, and everything else looked inedible. I did not hear one person talking about how great the breakfast was. If anything, people just looked bewildered by the lack of choice. The door to our room was a problem. It was very sticky, so much so that we had to kick it to make it open going into the room, and tug with all our weight to open it from the inside. I mentioned this to the management so hopefully they've fixed it by now! Also, I-80 runs right behind the hotel. There's a lot of freeway noise, so you may want to ask for a room that is close to the office.
when these rooms are built, they know to within an inch where the beds are going - and yet they often put an outlet in the wall, centered where the mattress pushes up against it... there are two plugs in it with the wires that come out the back bent down sharply where the mattress is pushed up against them... this is EXACTLY why they make RIGHT-ANGLE PLUGS, as eventually without right-angle plugs the stress of the wires being bent down so sharply will crack the outer insulation, and then if the exposed inner wires touch they may spark or heat up before they blow the circuit-breaker - and what do they have crammed right into them should that ever happen? a MATTRESS! i have found this insanity in numerous hotels and i found it in this one - IN A NEWLY REMODELED ROOM - and it is NEVER fixed... i am always thanked for bringing it to managemant's attention and then they do nothing to fix it... BASIC FIRE-PREVENTION 101...
The entire staff and facility A plus rating AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA+++++++++++++++ Kind and helpful . This is the best hotel that I Charles Rackley age 57, that have been to. Hands down all the employees extremely helpful willing to whatever it takes to make sure that you're a happy customer.
Thank you for the nice quiet hotel room wish I could have got a chance to use the pool.. will definitely stay there again when I'm working in the area! Excellent staff very helpful. Will recommend to other employees!!
Overall it was a great visited. While there were some minor problems the staff worked to correct them as soon as possible. I rate the staff as a 10 and the facility as an 8. The breakfast bar was always good and well stocked.
I stay at Best Western Roseville Inn because of work, Michele has always been phenomenal and goes over the top every time to make sure my stay is a great one! The rooms are always clean and breakfast is always great! I chose to stay here every week because of the great experience!
Had a wonderful check in with Miss Maria P. She was so hospitable!! Great quiet property. Breakfast was awesome.. Housekeeping needs to sanitize walls.. only complaint.. Besides that we had a great stay!!!
Just need a room for the night? This one comes recommended. It's clean, free parking in front of your door (get a room on the first floor if you have baggage or just don't feel like climbing up stairs) and breakfast is quick and free. What more can you ask for from a budget hotel?
Have been staying at this hotel over a few months now, when I'm back and forth on business our customer site is close by The hotel for its price is perfect, staff is pleasant, rooms are just what you need for sleep, breakfast is always a plus
Even knowing that this hotel was old, we expected better of the rooms. The "old" mold in the bathroom was horrible!, The mold/musty smell was horrible too. I wonder what was in the carpet that made this smell so bad.
Rooms are very comfortable and cleaned daily. Nikki, Desiree, and Yolanda at the front desk have been very helpful in accommodating our needs, which have exceeded our expectations. We will continue to bring our business to the Best western in Roseville ca due to there outstanding customer service provided by there entire facility staff.
We got this hotel for a soccer tournament,,,,we did not personally pick it, I believe the coach did but I can guarantee that we wont be staying there again. We had a non smoking room that smelled like weed the minute we walked in and the bathroom had a bad odor as well. I guess its not a non smoking hotel as people were smoking in the walkway in front of the rooms. The girls went to the front desk to ask for additional shampoo because I had two girls with long hair and the shampoo will barely wash one of theirs and the guy at the front desk said they didn't have any more,,,,really? He gave them bar soap to wash their hair...YUCK. The only thing that would bring us back would be the breakfast which was really nice!
This was an older property. Room " looked" fine. However... Floor was filthy as evidenced by blackened feet and socks and dirt/hair present in bathroom corners. Gross. TV out. Card keys not working 3x
Even though it was only one night, it was a nice stay. It is close to the freeway, but we didn't hear it, we ran the a/c (it was hot here!) and that blocked it out. I couldn't get a bottom floor room, so the staff offered to carry my luggage up the stairs. I called when we were leaving and someone came up to carry the luggage down. I liked the bed too.
With the exception of room cleanliness, this hotel is great. No cleaning occurs behind furniture, which is pretty gross. Luckily, we couldn't see it unless we looked behind the furniture. We also had black feet all week due to dirty carpeting. Also, only one ashtray and one trash can...asked for evtra ones of each. All other wonderful aspects made up for these weaknesses. Will stay here again, but will ask for room problems to be addressed next time.
My wife and I decided to try Best Western and was pleasantly surprised at the breakfast buffet. Probably the best we've had for any stay in the past . The room was ok but there was a sticky spot on the carpet which was irritating and when my wife went to use the toilet the whole toilet seat came off. When she took a shower there was no place to put the soap so ended up laying on the back of the toilet and when she went to hang up her towel on the wall rack it fell off the wall. Other than the cleanliness and maintenance issues the room was spacious, no problems with the TV though the internet kept kicking us off...
Not the best area. Pool was dirty. No spa/workout room. There was a building next to the pool being worked on so maybe it will be in there. Make sure to go get your extra towels for the pool because they won't bring them to you.
It's such a bonus to find a great place to stay that's dog friendly! Since our dog adopted us we take him on all of our trips. Room was clean, staff was friendly, and breakfast was satisfying. The pet area was grass and was large.
Needs improvement. The breakfast did not have diabetic friendly foods. The pool needed service it was a bit gross. The hotel office staff was friendly and helpful. The other occupants were very unruly and I felt that I had to guard my vehicle each night to make sure that one of the many wandering vagrants did not take anything. But the office staff was helpful.
BW Roseville Inn is in a convenient location to the 80frwy and to good restaurants, car repair, stores, etc. I Primarily selected this location because it is close to visiting family that live in Roseville.
Front desk was nice and check in was quick. Room and bathroom were clean. Comfortable bed. Fast wifi to stream my tv shows. Close to freeway. Enjoyed my stay and I will come again. I checked out early in morning so I missed breakfast.
I stay at this best western for good reason it's great . The rooms are clean ,remodel , air conditioner works well and internet runs at 50 mb . I travel a lot say in many hotel other best western that I had stay at are not as nice
Best hotel ive stayed in years and the room was so beautiful updated decor i cant say any bad thing's i have stayed in many hotels and always hated something or something was dirty this hotel checked all boxes the breakfast was so amazing i felt like i was at a restaurant fully stocked they had everything u can imagine to eat even lunch items .great room service the beds were like a feather heaven slept better than at home.i spent 2nights 3 days the pool was so GREAT clean u must try this best Western out in Roseville ca on Harding Blvd i found a diamond and everything we needed was so close uber drove us cost 5$ to get to downtown to the nightlife and arrived in 1 min i had tge best vacation because of best western
We had no complaints about this hotel. It was clean and quiet. Our only issue was the dining area for breakfast is MUCH too small for a hotel of this size. Both days we were there (weekdays during the summer) the breakfast area was packed and many people had to take their food back to their rooms to eat.
This was a nice place to stay even with lots of other nice folks. Quiet at night even though in the busy city on main drag. I don't use the pools anymore, but it looked good, and I had a room on the other side by choice. I missed an elevator but had help taking suitcase up 12 outside stairs. Taking case down was a "piece of cake". And I enjoyed the outside and need the exercise. I'm thinking of going back on October 28th. for a reunion party at a home in Roseville. Reasonable prices.
We spent one night at the Roseville Inn. The kids loved the pool and swam for an hour before bed and another couple of hours in the morning before check-out. The rooms were clean and quiet. The buffet breakfast was a step above the usual. Besides the bacon, scrambled eggs, potatoes, waffles, cereal, etc., there was a bowl of fresh berries to put on the waffles. Whipped cream, too! The children were delighted! The only thing not so great is the location is not in the best part of town. In spite of that, we enjoyed our stay.
as soon as we walked into the front office Michele and Desiree greeted us with laughter and smiles. we received our gift bag and tons of information on the areas fun activities. the pool is a nice crystal blue that shines all day. they have afternoon snacks every day and the breakfast has such a large verity of foods to choose from. we loved that the air conditioner was left on for us so the room was nice and cool as we walked in.we will be for sure the next time we are in Roseville.
I was there from 7/10/17 - 7/13/17 Check in was slow but Kayla was dealing with a customer that apparently did not have a credit card...understandable... Reservation was for bottom floor as I have COPD...that did not show up on there computer but Kayla fixed it... Breakfast...eggs were cold...I would suggest cooking smaller portions and putting them out more often... ...overall...breakfast...room...staff...9+ I'll be back next month... ...and months after that
This is your standard, modern chain hotel. Fixtures were modern and beds were comfortable. We had to park across a field and around the pool from a motel room because there are not enough spots in the lot, though.
I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the rooms. The breakfast buffet was delicious and the Staff was very helpful in accommodating all of our needs. I would definitely recommend this Hotel to anyone staying in or around the area.
Nice place to stay over on over way to the Shivananda Yoga Ashram in Grass Valley. Comfortable beds and nice rooms. Breakfast selection was really nice with some healthy options for vegetarians. Friendly staff too!
Uhaul was ok here! The staff went out of their way to accommodate my special circumstances. I had to wait for my apartment to open up, and my U-Haul was safe and secure right outside my room. I brought my pet puppy and that was not a problem either.
Very nice rooms for the prices. Has a great breakfast with make your own waffles. Staff very helpful. Lots of food options around and not to far from the Roseville Gallaria mall. Have other trips planed to the area and will be staying here from now on. Have tried many other hotels in area this one is the best for the money.
The place was nice and updated. It looks more modern and like you are walking into a higher end hotel. We showed up late to check in and the night lady was very nice and helpful. It stared off to be a good stay. I can not believe the rooms were so nice.
Overall very satisfied. Staff was very accomodating in every respect. Rooms are dated and air comnditioner was very noisy. Breakfast was nice and choices were adequate. The hotel was quiet as far as traffic was concerened and close to freeway access.
The staff was helpful & friendly and the beds were extremely comfortable. There was a delicious full breakfast with something for everyone. Since we were there for a family function we didn't stay long at our room, but next time I'll take time to enjoy their beautiful pool.
I love the fact that they have wonderful breal fast and love that they have both refrigerator and microwave so we can keep our drinks cold overnight and able to warm up food in the middle of the night when you have munchies.
We experienced a mixed crowd of guests. Families with kids, workers for various construction projects, and just tourists. The room was average quality with tv, fridge, and microwave. The bed was slightly lumpy, but I found it to be very comfortable. Good nights rest. I think we were in room #127 and the 2nd lock on the door did not fully engage-slight worry. The bathroom was average, but i loved the high showerhead that poured down on me. I am quite tall and get tired of stooping in the shower. I think we forgot to ask for non-smoking so we ended up in a smoking room. Was not super overpowering. The breakfast was the best on our week long trip. Toast, waffles, fresh potatoes, scrambled eggs, large sausage links, choice of fruits and cereal. And, of course peanut butter in those little packages. :) The driveway into the property is a little hard to find. During our stay there were several workers washing the walks in front of the rooms and gardening. I felt the place was taken care of and clean. Motel is near to the freeways and easy to head up the 5 to the indian casino for some entertainment. I would stay here again, but might look around too.
Not too keen on the location, had been a little better on this stay. Breakfast bar was meh.... Folks at the desk were nice. thats all Very noisy outside. Above us, sounds like a party all night. You can hear every foot step
While I was there it was under construction, I tripped on a unidentified drop in the concrete and almost killed myself. They were rude. I was thrown a upgraded room, which was stinky, and dirty. There were cops all over for some drug deal going and repeatedly came there. Not recommended at all. The pool was creepy too and not heated.
it is close to HWY but sleep very good anyway. Staff did everything they could to get our room ready faster but they was all booked up the night before and was working as fast as they could, it was a very hot day, so we understood. The maids cleaning room we felt bad for them because of the heat they was soaked through with sweat.
Enjoyed a good quality stay at a reasonable rate. It was close to where we needed to be and there were good, local restaurants nearby that were shared by hotel staff as alternatives to some of the chains that are located everywhere.
When we arrived at 2:30am, as we had told them we would, they had given our room away. They fixed up a room in an area that was being renovated. It was okay, but upsetting because we booked there so we could have a better experience. The room was okay. The facilities were not great. The workout room was tiny and so was the pool. It shares a parking lot with Tahoe Joe's, which is a fairly nice upscale restaurant. Also, the water park is a block away. Just call before you go to see if they are under construction.
i like the property there is grassy areas and places are in walking distance. the rooms are comfortable and have been updated. the breakfast is huge and not just muffins. its a buffet with hot foods. great price
The rooms have been updated since our last stay here. New beds, furniture, TV's etc. Excellent upgrades. A hot breakfast is served from 6am - 9am. The menu varies a bit each day, but scrambled eggs are a staple with biscuits and gravy on morning or link sausage and potatoes the next. Waffles are available every morning. Nice way to start your day. I recommend the Roseville Inn and will stay there the next time we are in town.
The room needed to be updated and was old fashion, the carpet was nice. And staff was excellent and very friendly . The outside of hotel was very nice . Breakfast was good and had some good fruit , overall the hotel was nice .
Concern are noted in this survey. No need to continue repeat myself. Your nighttime staff need work on being more professional with guest. My wife and I will find other lodging in the near future. Thank you
Choose this hotel for travel to sacramento, ca. you will not be disappointed. The staff will assure your stay is comfortable and if by chance you need extras, they will provide. The property is in a suitable location, fifteen miles from airport and ten miles from downtown
Motel is in extreme need of complete demolition with replacement with new enclosed units. Entry door had visible rust at bottom. Bathroom door would not close. Large cracks on bathroom wall. One guest had placed shoes outside of door - a sign to welcome solicitation by street walkers. We cut short our stay and re-booked at Holiday Inn Express in Roseville.
This Best Western is the best value in the area. No over the top glitz, just plain good value. Stayed here for granddaughter's graduation in Lincoln. Easy access to airport, graduation site and daughter's home.
Had a few issues with housekeeping, they were corrected PERFECTLY by front desk. Breakfast was EXCELLENT and it changed each of the three days we were there. There were freshly made cookies and popcorn each of the evenings and the chocolate chip cookies were especially good. There was also coffee in lobby....decaf too......and there were sufficient tables in the "dining" room....
I was pleasantly surprised that this hotel has been kept up and remodeled. I would not hesitate to stay there again. We stayed two nights and everything was great. All of the staff were very friendly and helpful.
This hotel is ideal for business and family trips due to the location and proximity to a major urban areas, lakes, mountain, & shopping. Breakfast venue is pretty good but is limited for the vegetarian. Beds are very comfortable. Room amenity are sufficient (TV, microwave, coffee maker, refrigerator, ironing board). Ask for suite which is larger room size with a Jacuzzi and small kitchenette. There is a outdoor pool and plenty of parking for all type of vehicles including buses and semi trucks. The staff are super friendly and professional. Check in and check out is very convenient.
hotel staff was courteous, rooms clean, but our bed had a broken spring, that would be my only complaint, I would stay there again, but be sure to speak up and ask for a different room if bed was not comfortable.
Give the choice to select non-smoking vs. smoking room when booking online. Every time I reserve rooms online I get a nonsmoking. If a person wants a smoking room they normally have to special request this. Needless to say I received a smoking room with the non smoking rooms sold out. The room was absolutely disgusting. The carpet made our sock black. We had to wear slippers in the shower. There were dirt/dust balls stiuck on the popcorn ceiling. Not to mention the horrific smell of smoke in the room. We even bought disinfectant deordorizer sprays which didn't help at all. We checked out the next day and rechecked in to another hotel. The staff was very nice hence the rating of a 5.
My stay at the Best Western off Rocklin Road was excellent. From the moment I walked into reception, until the morning I left, every thing was great. They gave me great advice about a great place to eat, and things to do in the area, as I had arrived before 2 pm. The staff was great, very friendly and the room was very clean. I walked over to the pool which looked very inviting, very clean. But I did not have a suit for swimming. All in all it was a great experience. Highly recommend this motel to any traveler.
The staff was good and very helpful. We arrived late and we're very tired. When we pulled the bedding back the bottom sheet was disgusting!! Pubic hair and other gross stains made me nauseaous!!! I called the desk and the night shift staff immediately went to housekeeping to get us clean sheets which he brought to us. My husband and I stripped the whole bed and even the mattress cover was unacceptable. Too late to get a clean mattress cover. We made up the bed and went to sleep in a less than comfortable, lumpy mattress. Does one get an old, crumby room just because they get a bit of a discount on Expedia????!!!!
my husband could not sleep on his side due to indention's and lumps, he got out of bed to inspect problem, found blood stain on side of mattress, he then lifted mattress and found a LARGE blood stain, and splatters.(whoever bled this much died) This mattress is a bio hazard and should have been disposed of properly, but instead was just turned over. cleaning personnel had to have known of blood since there was plenty on side of bed to have seen when sheets changed
So glad we stayed at this hotel. From our check in to our check out 2 days later the entire staff were so amazing. Tasteful clean room, good selection for breakfast and afternoon cookies. Quiet location as well.
This is an okay place. It's in a quiet area has a great pool and was close to the conference we were attending. The breakfast was probably one of the worst out of all the best westerns we've stayed at.... The room was clean and the staff polite
Although we only live an hour and a half away, since we would be out late, we chose to stay at a motel. We have always had good experiences with Best Western over the years and this was no exception. The room was clean, attractive with a very good bed, nice TV, which we didn't have time to use, and a breakfast with good selections, all of which added up to a comfortable experience overall. We would be happy to stay there again if we were in the area as it is close to the freeway and to our destination.
We have traveled between Oregon and California numerous times over the last 9 years. It is a challenge to find a pet friendly motel which actually has a good area to walk the dogs. This is the best we have found to date. The large grass area was close to our room and was kept mowed and clean. The other great feature was the breakfast each morning. Lots of tasty choices and varied day to day. Having said that, the motel is old and could use a major overhaul as noted by other reviewers. No complaints, however, about the cleanliness. And we were willing to overlook any cosmetic issues due to the super friendly, helpful staff and perfect dog area.
This was our second time to use this hotel in the past three years. The overall experience was very good both times. We would definitely choose this hotel again, on our next visit to Roseville. The complementary breakfast featured a wide variety of items - I especially liked the fresh fruit.
I reported a clogged toilet and after three hours when I went down to the lobby to check on the status of maintenance I was handed a plunger!! On top of that the whole atmosphere felt unsafe. I would not recommend staying here. Spend the extra $10-20 someplace else!
Staff very helpful, rooms clean and newly remodeled. Breakfast every morning was a plus. Located near hwy 80 and shopping. I will stay here again when back in town . Almost forgot to mention the nice new flat screen television.
The people who work here are very nice, but the rooms are in desperate need of work. The beds are very hard, the rooms lack enough outlets for two people to charge their phones at the same time, and things need to be repaired and updated. The floorboards in the bathroom were disintegrating and broken.
Noxious smell in room, dirty sheets, cracked tile in bathroom weird smell from heater . Just an old hotel that needs updating. Best western needs to do a better and more consistent job with keeping their hotels clean
This is a very clean hotel with nice rooms and friendly staff. We had two problems with our stay. The first was a bed that seemed to be broken on one side. There was just one person sleeping in that bed, and sleeping on the other side of the bed solved that problem. The other problem was that we had noisy people above us both of the nights of our stay. Noise until well past 3 AM. Other than these two things, our stay was outstanding!
This is a really nice motel , clean comfortable room, bed was exceptionally comfortable especially it being a king size bed.i didn't experience any unnecessary noise, it was very quiet. The breakfast was very good. Will stay here again
I do recommend this place to stay. However if you shop around you will find cheaper accommodations in the area with a nicer location. The room at this Best Western are fairly nice, clean and they have an awesome breakfast in the morning. Could use some upgrades to room as well as the outside of the building including the pool.o
Wonderful peaceful stay Excellent service Desk staff housekeeping Comfy beds Tasty breakfast daily eggs baconsausage. Bisquits n gravy Great location close to Gallaria Mall movie theater all freeways highway 5 80 50 Quite serene
High quality bedding, very clean and professional. Had my dog with me and they accommodated me -- big field across from my room. Good breakfast. Near to freeway-easy to get to and to park. Walkable restaurants nearby.
Pay close attention to the pictures people have posted. This is an older hotel with more of a "Motel" layout. I stayed here by myself and had I realized the rooms were detached from the office I would've stayed elsewhere. Especially being a solo female traveler. If you just need a night or 2 then this is a good place as long as you don't pau more than $90/night. Definitely not worth more than that. Always look on Groupon for better deals. Room was clean and came with a fridge and microwave which is a plus. Close to freeway but I didn't hear any cars. Blow dryer was ridiculously loud so I felt bad using it after 11pm. Neighborhood is fine and I wouldn't be concerned about any car theft, but just because its Roseville, doesn't mean to leave valuables in plain sight. Breakfast quality could definitely improve. The yogurt in the frdige was a little cooler than room temp and was going to expire in less than a week so I passed on that. Fruit was fresh buy juice in juice machine was a little stale. I would stay here again with another person and with an alternative option for breakfast.
Cheap Hotel, cheap quality, questionable location. Hotel had fire alarms "chirping" throughout the area keeping our party up on multiple nights, even after was brought to their attention. Bathroom had broken and attempted repairs on fixtures. Felt like when rooms were cleaned all was done was bed being made and dumping a gallon of Lysol in the room.
Given a smoking room and it was extreme smoke smell. I was alone and had no way to know the rooms were separate from the hotel so did not feel comfortable. The hotel is older and the rooms showed wear. I would not stay here again. The breakfast was average. I would not reccommend this hotel.
i stay here a lot and enjoy the staff and how they remember your needs and always have a smile. they have a great breakfast and the rooms are much larger than expected. the hotel is pet friendly and is close to food places and the freeway. plus there are fun activities right down the road at the mall or sports center
The room was nice and peaceful. The bed was great. The staff was the best I ever had. For breakfast, they had sausage, eggs, wallfuls, cereal, toast, bagels. muffins, juice and coffee. Good location. close to many stores and resturants.
A great place to stay. Clean, friendly staff, and a location close to restaurants and most everything you'd want to do 15 miles east of Sacramento. Easy access off and then back on to I-80. Our review would be Excellent if it weren't for the mattress. Let's just say, we've slept on better.
Great customer service the staff at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. There names were Nikki, Maria, Desiree and Michele I Have been staying here for the last 3 weeks during the weekday. Would recommend this place to anybody looking for a good price, clean room, and a secure parking lot.
Loved this motel. My room was large and clean. Staff was very friendly. Good breakfast . Fair price. Lots of parking and a great dog area since I did bring a dog. Mini fridge and microwave though I did not not them. Still nice to have. Right at downtown so dining and shopping was easy. I really enjoyed this location and plan to return. Thank you !!
Room smelled very strong of cigarette smoke , which was not pleasant , and this is supposed to be a smoke free establishment , no compensation was offered in the morning checkout . The front desk check in person was at the end of his shift and was not real friendly through the check in process.
Front desk rep was professional and accommodated my request for a ground floor room because I was with my 80-year old parents and there was no elevator. The room smells clean, well-appointed and has all the necessary amenities. We were very comfortable and free breakfast helps so we don't have far to walk for a morning meal. I was impressed.
I try to find a Best Western Hotel along the 80 or 5 hwys in Calif. They are consistently, clean, spacious and offer breakfast, WIFI . The staff is helpful and friendly. The rooms are clean and nicely decorated, fluffy towels and Jacuzzi tubs. Bedding is fresh and pillows are comfortable and don't smell ! Good value for an affordable price.
A friendly, helpful and attentive staff. They accepted and kept track of numerous packages for my long-term stay from out of the country on 3 different occasions. Any issues were promptly addressed. Rooms have been nicely upgraded recently. Great location near Roseville Galleria.
excellent pricing for construction workers staying away from home or just anyone traveling...great location, many choices for food close by and shopping....rooms are large, clean, nice....great staff and breakfast is good. Also if you need to leave before 6 am to work they make arrangements to have some food for you...internet is slow but its also FREE..
This was in the best location for my trip to visit Family. This is a pet friendly hotel, and I saw a few pets but did not hear them. The Staff were attentive and friendly. The breakfast time frame could be a bit longer on the weekends.
the rooms were clean, friendly service through out the hotel in all departments, and a nice breakfast in the morning. the pool closes a little early but that's OK due to the weather getting colder ... we will be back to this hotel and many other best westerns
We were pleasantly surprised. We used our rewards points to pay for this room and were a little apprehensive about the quality of the property as the amount of points required was the lowest I've ever seen. lean, comfortable, friendly and a breakfast to boot. The location was great for easy access to freeway and walking distance to a good restaurant.
Crazy traffic in Sacramento area made it easy to miss this place. Barely saw it in time to get off freeway. Nice place however and reasonably priced. Large room well appointed. There was a good sports bar within walking distance that had great sliders. Breakfast about the same as all motels, not the best.
Me and a friend went to Sacramento area to go to a concert at Thunder Valley Casino Stayed at this Best Western hotel lastnight, the staff was great the room was nice and clean, the breakfast this morning was great they had waffles, sausage, eggs ,cereal, muffins, croissants, and, fruit, juices, coffee all kinds of stuff it was an awesome breakfast. The staff is very friendly and the check-in and check-out was a breeze. The only problem I had was when the staff at the front desk told us there was a shuttle available at the other property across the freeway to take us to the casino for a concert she told us to call this number I called on several occasions was told that the shuttle is only available if there was a shuttle driver I would think they would have a shuttle driver on a Friday night because they were busy I called that number several times and was told that the shuttle driver was also the maintenance man and that he wasn't available to take anyone anywhere with the shuttle, I felt well for a shuttle if you're not going to have it running especially on a Friday night when I'm sure lots of people wanted to go places and not have to drive
Second time at this Best Western and happy that the experience was exactly the same and excellent.. Will do it again next year. This has been the only Best Western that was happy to take my reward points. Also, the front parking lot accommodates my Jeep and a long trailer. The bed is the the best and got a great sleep for my long travel day.
After they complete the Remodel of this facility the rooms will be excellent. But for the time being, they are just passable. The lobby and breakfast area are clean and the staff seem to be friendly and outgoing.
I've stayed at this property numerous times over the past few years. In my opinion, it continues to go downhill. Appears some rooms are occupied full time by less than desirable individuals. People who sit outside their room and smoke cigarettes for hours on end, dressed poorly. Rooms are somewhat dated and bathroom floor, baseboards etc. are filthy. It is a shame as this location is desirable and the grounds are quite nice for those of us who travel with our pets. My Yorkshire terrier is cleaner than some of the tenants for sure.
The hotel is clean and the staff is friendly. The hotel is old but has been adequately updated. My only problem was I have a crushed pelvis and the accessible room was not very well equipped for showering. The cost is fair for amenities.
The room was immaculate, the service was excellent. The location right off the freeway and within 10 miles of Folsom Lake made it a very convenient place to stay. The room was roomy with room for our dog to sleep comfortable also.
Breakfast - The hot food wasn't ready in time so we didn't get the whole variety. The shower curtain kept opening so maybe a stronger magnet. The noise at the swimming pool wasn't too noticeable because it closed at a decent time.
The only complaint is that there were bugs crawling in and out of the Ice machine closest to the pool..... But for the price, you get what you pay for and the customer service was great!!! Location is perfect, easy access to Hwy 80, plenty of places to shop or eat. I'll definitely stay again, beats Motel 6 and their outrageous prices. No comparison, thank you Best Western for being my go to hotel/motel.
Rooms were clean and neat. Restaurants are close by as well as Trader Joe's. Shopping mall was about a mile away. We missed the exit to this motel so traveled at least 15-20 miles past due to highway construction.
Staff was very friendly We did not have a wait to check in or out.. I loved that we did not hear people walking by all night. Very quiet even though we were very near the freeway. I would stay here again anytime I come to Roseville.
This hotel was pretty decent. Some things were outdated. The room we happen to get was a smoking room, which I requested at booking a non-smoking. We were so tired, we didn't ask to switch. Our fault, so I do not hold the hotel accountable. Other than that, the hotel was decent.
Carpet was filthy, lighting was horrible, phone didn't work so great, beds were too firm, and noise from outside permeated the room too easily. The free breakfast was lacking-microwaved breakfast sausage, flavorless scrambled eggs. Had to grab bread from a case that wasn't anywhere near the toaster, plastic utensils were very flimsy. Check-in went smoothly as did check out. Bedding was clean.
When ever I need a place to stay during my work days this is always my place to be and stay having that home feeling the workers there are all kind as family would be and the rooms are cleaned neatly and well maintained
was disappointed because it was a Best Western, on the other side of 80 at the Best Western Suite an was very happy. will never stay here again. The last night saw baby roaches right outside of my door, i'm sure looking to come into the room. i was glad i was leaving in the morning, i didn't to take any with me.
My husband stayed here several nights while playing in a softball tournament nearby. We are BW Rewards members so always try to stay at a BW. This one met his expectations. They are usually reliable for comfort, good breakfast and comfortable beds. That matters to him. I was not along this time but he said I would have liked it for the décor which usually matters to me.
I chose this location because it was cheaper than the 200 dollar hotels near the event in Lincoln I was going to.We were there to celebrate our 15 year anniversary. The pictures of the inside online looked nicer than reality. The paintjob was pretty poor and there were dents everywhere on the walls. The rooms inside were pretty spacious and the bed was bouncy. Showers worked fine and it was nice there was a fridge. I wish there was an extra blanket. The outside looked like a Motel 6. There were several rooms being remodeled and some of the people walking around looked like they lived there. The breakfast was excellent. Lots of choices and extras. I loved the waffles with whipped cream and berries. They also had burritos and breakfast sandwiches. The usuals were there too. This is a wonderful place to stay for travelers. I wouldn't come here for romance but it can work.
Love to stay there...has everything we need at a fair price. Only problem was a broken bathroom fan that we thought was going to take off and not enough towels. Took our dirty towels and didn't bring any back until after we called,. Otherwise fine.
The rooms were clean, well stocked and housekeeping was very accommodating. The breakfast had a variety and very good! The staff was friendly and accommodating at every question we had. We left there and left an important item behind. I called that day and one gentleman, Maui, went to the room, got the item and then fed-ex'd it to us. Maybe that is standard but when we forget something that is important then to have somebody take the effort to make sure we get it back- well, that is special to us, not standard these days. Definitely recommend this place to others!
I stayed at the Roseville Inn a few years ago, and only a very competitive price made me return. I was pleased and will go back again in the future. The hotel is newly remodeled (almost complete) and has lots of good features currently. The neighborhood has upgraded and thus the sketchy neighbors and site wanderers from the past have disappeared. The grounds are attractive, the rooms now have standard jacuzzi baths, the beds are great, the breakfast is better than most Best Westerns, the parking is ample, most things worked in my room, the staff is helpful and pleasant to talk to, the wi-fi is better than many competitors—lots of improvements. One challenge is that with all the remodeling, some still going on, energy seems to be directed there rather than upkeep of rooms. For example, in my room the new bath fixtures did not work well, the sink stopper was broken, the shower head leaked, etc. I still got clean with hot water and the leakage should be a management concern, so I was O.K. The breakfast area had some problems of missing items (ran out, or didn't arrive on time), but the quality was good (when present!). All in all, this will be my new go-to option when in the Sacramento area, unless the price escalates above quality when the renovation is completed.
We stayed 3 nights for a softball tournament. The freeway is right on top of the property so it is a bit noisy. Other than that, we had a pleasant stay. Room was clean, very close to Galleria shopping & eateries. Pool was clean and not too busy. In room mini fridge and micro. Free internet & morning breakfast w/lots of choices. We would stay again when in the area.
It's kind of scary when you read property reviews with one and five star headings - it makes you wonder a bit. My belief is that the management needs to select a four to six week window - close the hotel and complete the renovations. Everything at the moment is less than satisfactory with renovation work actively taking place at a usually premium hotel brand. Good Points: AC was noisy but kept the room cool; Beds were in good shape; New vanity and faucets; New carpet; Short comings: Room dark due to burnt out lights - 3 out of 7 in the room burnt out; Toilet did not have the typical seal after cleaning; Toilet paper - not folded to a point as per hotel industry standard practice; Grout lines in the shower tile showed dirt; Base board beside the toilet had paint lifting off due to an earlier plumbing issue; At the end of the day this property has potential, and management needs to cut to the chase, complete the renovations and then open up for business. Currently they are trying to have the best of both worlds (completing the renovations while staying open) and this simply doesn't provide what should be goal one - a positive guest experience.
Hotel is a nice older hotel with remodeled rooms, good wifi, and a good breakfast. This stay would have been much higher in rating if it wasn't for being refused a 2PM checkout (the first time that has happened to me in 30 years of business travel) and was told that we would have to pay full rate....I happen to have my 16 year old daughter with me, so this is/was a major inconvenience since I had a 11AM meeting and would have liked to come back, change, pick her up and go-bad!
I highly suggest this hotel to anyone staying in the area, i met the new manager and shes great, she was very helpful and kind. I loved my stay at this hotel, the rooms are very nice and clean. The breakfast was very good, one of the best breakfast i have had at a hotel. The pool was Huge and very clean. The parking lots where very clean unlike other hotels.
Homeless person in the pool, Smokers sitting on the stairways with cigarette butts everywhere, trash (coffee cups/paper) in the parking lot. The breakfast buffet was a complete joke. I'm pretty easy going on motel stays but this one was a complete mess. The rooms were fine but the rest of the place poor. People ate what they could get off the buffet breakfast sitting in the lobby. The Motel staff (I watched) did nothing to correct anything.
This Best Western is in a somewhat bad neighborhood but the rooms are clean and comfy. Great air conditioner and nice pool. I was traveling with a youth softball team and the staff were very understanding when I needed a late checkout on our last day to keep the girls in the air conditioning.
It was a total night mare for myself and my guest being locked out our rooms after a long day. Especially for my guest who stayed there for more then one night. It was very un call for. I will never stay at your Hotel again. The desk employees were not able to help me and I couldn't get help by phone I had to go in and get my bill taken care of for wrong charges. I still feel I've been over charged and I will be taking care of it when I receive my statement.
My stay might have been better if I stayed in a room closer to the office. We had homeless outside our door, I did not feel safe. Also our carpet was extremely dirty and although I was told it was a nonsmoking room it smelled of smoke. The staff was very nice and professional.
There was an oder as if someone peed on the wall by the ironing board and no one ever cleaned it. Otherwise the room was very nice for the price. Could use more shade at the pool. Two umbrellas and one was used all day be a homeless woman.
We were traveling from Boise to LA with my daughter's two cats. The cats can make it at max about 8-9 hours before a meltdown. I found this listing online as a "true" pet-friendly hotel (most say that, but then tell you only dogs). I mention that to only say I didn't check out the location, type of hotel, etc. Pros: The staff at check-in was really nice. It was 100+ degrees, we had been traveling 9+ hours with two cats and were checking in about an hour early. Plus, "please it would be so helpful to be on the bottom floor" (there was no elevator). The employee literally ran around finding a clean room for us and got us checked in asap. The hotel was old, but the room was overall very clean, including linens and towels and the wifi and wall AC unit (altho noisy) worked great. And, last - the price was very good. Cons: This was an old-style motel where the doors open to the outside instead of a hallway. While it made unloading/loading of cat cages easier, it presented a lot more logistical issues to cat owners should they dart outside (the cats were fine with a bit of pre-planning). If I wasn't traveling with cats - not a big deal! Also, it was LOUD!! First there was construction going on just feet away from our unit until about 6-6:30pm. We were getting tired of it and the cats were freaking out when thankfully it stopped. Then, as I mentioned earlier - I didn't fully check out this location. We were in a room at the back of the property and were literally feet from a freeway. It was really noisy all night long. The bed was fine for my daughter, but being used to memory foam, it felt hard as a brick to me. And, a few of the cable channels worked, but most wouldn't work. So, I would recommend this hotel #1) without a pet who could dart out the door #2) do NOT stay at the back of the property and #3) find out what's up with their cable! (We had so many other things going on, we didn't even want maintenance coming to the door so we just dealt.)
Not a new place, but nice and clean. Has been updated not too long ago, apparently. Pretty good breakfast, large pool, friendly staff, located near lots of eating and shopping. Good value for its price, we thought.
Love the room. Best night sleep we had in a very long time. Will stay here again. Only thing is no Pool. But rooms are great. Staff was great. Going to stay here next year. Love the area. Was close to everything.
This is where we usually stay when we go to Roseville. For the price it is a good place to stay. It is close to everything we need to do on our trip. Very centrally located. Free breakfast. WiFi. No elevator. Rooms are clean, staff is friendly and professional.
Location was convenient for us. Bed frame was extended and we hit our shins on it. Breakfast was OK, but on Monday it was less than desirable. No fruit. AC was not sufficient for our room. It was hot in the evening when we tried to relax and sleep.
I would not stay here. There were issues with the locks on the bathroom door, mold on the bathroom shower wall and when a little wet you could really smell the mold. The air conditioner did not work properly, it did not cool the room down AT ALL. There was an uncomfortable lump on the mattress. I would suggest to anyone that is thinking of staying here, find another hotel. The design of the hotel is weird and the parking is bad.
Received 2nd floor when I reserved 1st, cockroach on bathroom floor, malfunctioning faucet gave scalding water, limited TV channels, Furniture to big blocking window & curtains, A/C did not cool room sufficiently, no meat for breakfast.
went there for Grandsons graduation every thing was good. /room was very confortable We had a great stay and cleaning crew was very nice considering we were in at different hours enjoyed the breakfast and crew was very friendly and helpful The Motel is close to sons house so it was convenient
Great front desk folks very accommodating, room was very dark, bathtub was very slippery and the exhaust fan in room #214 did not do a very good job, tv had a lot of checker board chanels, water was very hot & a lot of pressure
Poor internet and closed off stairs were the main reason for checking out early. Odor in the room did not help. Front Desk did not seem concerned with why I was checking out early....... It would have helped if I had been informed of no internet or minimal stair access at check in.
Has everything you need to be within the budget. It was great service, great place. Also has a pool but was too cold. Pool looked clean. Safe area. They had ice machine at convenient locations. Can't beat it for the price.
The staff was great, the breakfast good, very clean room. I liked that they served coffee all day. The building was old an set up more like motel. Drive to room and enter from outside. Many of the hotel neighbors smoking outside.
rooms were spread out with some guest in one building and others in another...tv had bad reception and limited channels to watch..Shower was ok. Overall experience not terrible but certainly not great either.
When in the Roseville area, visiting family we always stay at the Roseville Inn. It is conveniently located to shopping and restaurants. The rooms are clean and odor free. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The room rates are reasonable and includes breakfast. Breakfast is very good and includes made to order waffles, scrambled eggs, cereals, pastries, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, milk and juices. The breakfast area is staffed with helpful people who can guide you through the waffle making process. I recommend the Roseville Inn and will stay there again.
It's an older motel that is apparently being slowly remodeled. Not the most modern, but clean and comfortable and competitive rates with good location just off the freeway but far enough to keep road noise to a manageable level.
Nice place clean well kept but older. Pet friendly for additional 10 dollar fee. Breakfast better than most, good assortment. Have stayed here on other occasions. Would I recommend this hotel....Yes, not fancy but clean and nice.
this was my first time at this location and everything was ok until I seen ghetto dirty cockroaches crawling on the roof. it was already late and couldn't find another hotel. I did call the front desk and let them know. When I check out I let them know at the front desk and the front desk person unwittingly let me know that hey do have a roach problem and they would let the exterminator know when he came later that day since he was scheduled to be there. needless to say I will not be staying there again.
I have been here at the Roseville Inn for two nights but last evening i was shocked to see posted inconspicuoiusly on a wall near the parking area near my room a noitice that all vehicles parked there after 8AM the following morning would be towed at owners' expense. The signs were not posted before 3PM and none of the four people I talked to who's checked in later had been informed at the desk. There are parking spaces for at least 40 vehicles on the two sides of this building. The only other places to park are around the other buildings - and this AM all spaces are full. I have a heavy ice chest to carry and carrying it over 100 yards will probably damage my 788-year-old back severely. The desk clerk last evening assured me that indeed I would be towed - even though I suggested a lawsuit might be necessary if they impounded my truck and camper. THIS IS BY FAR THE SHABBIEST TREATMENT I HAVE EVER RECEIVED AT ANY OF THE DOZENS OF BEST WESTERN MOTELS I'VE VISITED. ( AND NO DECAF COFFEE AVAILABLE THIS MORNING). Needless to say I'll never visit theRoseville Inn again and I advise others to stay away also.
We were treated poorly by the check in and check out staff. The room smelled of dog. Bathroom fixtures were falling off the wall. Window screen was bent, so we could not open the window without flies coming in. The TV stand would not hold the TV straight. The requested delivery of a bill never happened. No manager or assistant manager was on site when I wanted to share my concerns.
Staff was very friendly, helpful and accommodating, however hotel itself needs a facelift. Pool was dirty and needed some work. Also, very close to route 80 so if you are not use to road noise you may want to bring earplugs.
We booked online through Hotwire and they gave us a one bed for 2 adults and 2 kids. BW staff was quick to fix even though they were full. Taylor the front desk clerk was fantastic trying to track down a roll away bed - with no luck bc they were full. She was able to call other people and give them our king suite for 2 beds. The breakfast was great- hot eggs, frozen sandwich and burritos, fresh fruit, cereal, yogurt, and an assortment of breads, and make your own waffles , juice, milk, and coffee. Limited seating- however large groups were sitting and talking - not eating/were finished. The downfall was it was a non smoking room however we could smell the smoke from near by rooms outside our door- only in the room briefly when the outside door opened and closed. The front building was under construction. Overall good experience.
The Hotel itself was pretty nice. It was clean and comfortable. The comfort of the beds at Best Western to our experience is superior. There is not many places that we stay with a refreshing good night's sleep as with Best Western Hotels.
Stay here for weeks through the year for past 8 yrs and always find the staff helpful, Pleasent and easy to work with. The facility is always upgrading and is clean. My work crew also chooses to stay here and always come back for great service and good location close to all needs.
My boyfirend and I booked this Best Western literally at the last minute. I had booked a night online, but had booked for the wrong night! Upon my phone call to this Best Western as we were driving on the highway, the front desk clerk assured me that he was able to change my reservation to that same evening without any problem. I have stayed at this location before and have always been impressed with the cleanliness and comfort of the rooms. If I could have taken the bed home, I would have!
My stay was welcome and i was somewhat valued as a customer Although i almost died from a food allergy it was great rooms, internet and friendly staff be careful on what you select really have to pay attention most is not labeled food wise but again friendly staff and great rooms take your family stay here
Once again, the entire staff of this hotel was professional and helpful. The reception team was accommodating, the grounds looked nice, and the room was clean and comfortable. I only wish I could have checked in before Three PM. But that is a minor detail. Thanks Again.
well to start;Customer service was so enjoyable. Taylor made me feel like I was truly an guest who belonged there and not some body just off the street!! Maria was so friendly during check-in. Maui had everything I would aspect from an Manager and was so informative. the entire room was clean and was smelling great!! I was feeling like I was sleeping on Clouds; I was comfortable! the Breakfast was clearly everything and more from what expected! Again this was one of the best times I have had at Best western. Trk driver I am and been living out Motels more then I am at home it seems like,,I know an good stay and know an bad stay;; THIS WAS THE BEST! (JBK Auto Transport Lead driver A,moreno)
Needed last minute easy stay. It was great. Everything was at least 9 out of 10. Very nice lobby with 24 coffee. Very helpful staff. Breakfast staff was super. Excellent internet. Will probably be back there next week.
The beds were lumpy and uncomfortable. We booked the room for 3 people but the room was setup with towels for 2 people. The TV picture was poor and the channel selection was minimal. The breakfasts selection was ok. The staff is nice enough but the hotel seems to be unorganized when it comes to preparing a room that has been booked ahead of time.
I usually stay at best Western when I travel I made this reservation late at night while traveling they held my reservation with out a credit card and they were very efficient on checking me into my room so I could go to sleep. In the morning the staff was very personal and made you feel at home. Usually breakfast at Best Western is you get your food sit and eat. The staff was friendly accommodating I felt like I was a guest at a friends house. I defiantly recommend this hotel.
I ususally stay at this hotel when in Roseville. Only for one night. As hotels go it is ok. I think the rooms need upgrading. It was not an original Best Western so I feel it does lack in the Best Western quality. Staff was very helpful and very accommodating.
Staff was friendly and helpful and the hotel was a very good value. We needed help making a room change through Hotwire and the desk clerk was very helpful in getting our situation resolved. We were very satisfied with our stay here.
This is probably one of the shadiest hotel/motel I've ever stayed in! I thought for a quick overnight stay, Best Western isn't so bad...well...now I know better!!! Our room reeked of cigarette, it was horrible! They couldn't transfer me to another room because they were fully booked that night. They offered a spray, which really just made it worst since we had to deal with the smoke and the chemical smell. I should have read the reviews prior to staying, which I normally do. They offered to book me in another hotel, and I really should have taken that option! If she had elaborated more, I would have moved!!! Go to Holiday Inn or Marriott for almost the same price.
The cheapest tv channel selection any motel will furnish, especially for a hundred dollars a night. I stayed in room 131, the gap in the door was large enough for rats to come and go. The attitude of the hotel staff is terrible, they hate their jobs and agree the owners are cheap.
The staff at this hotel have treated me great every time I've come. They keep it clean, the maintenance staff is courteous, it's comfortable and a great price for the area. The area around it isn't the best ... but I would still recommend this hotel if you have business in the area. I will continue to stay here on my visits.
Overall rooms are nice, staff is friendly and good location. Just had issue with late check-out. Check out time is 11 am, if you want to check out later the best they can do is noon. Also smoking and non-smoking rooms are back to back and side to side so the smell of smoke will drift into your room even if you are in a non-smoking room. But they will offer to come into your room and spray to remove the scent.
We stay at BW hotels consistently and usually find them to be consistently clean and enjoyable..... this was as aweful. Rhe neighborhood is very sketchy and the property overall is I nd of run down. Right next to the freeway and very loud. We were supposed to be in a double queen nonsmoking room, t :) ey gave us #261. It was at the far back corner of the property right next to the freeway. The whole building looked like it should be demolishe. Lots of sketchy caracters smoking on the balconies. When we got to our room it smelled awful and we all had burning eyes and throats and started hacking immediately. Not only did it smell, but the furniture was bad mismatched ugly stuff that looked like it hadnt been cleaned or replaced since the 70s, and it was chipped, stained, looked chewed on... just gross. The outside of the door had a nonsmoking plaque, but the inside had. A red lable that said, " this is a smoking room and contIns chemicals and tobacco residue that may be harmful..." so we call the dront desk and they said it was nonsmoking, when we told them the lables didnt match they offered to move us to a different room. The second room was next to the lobby, room 112. A million times better, looked more updated and smelled clean. Upon closer inspection, it did have dust on the blinds, corners, etc, dirt buildup all around the tiles and floors, a crack in the sink, and they forgot to restock towels and washcloths in the bathroom, so there were only 2 for 4 of us. The sheets were wrinkled like they hadn't been folded properly. Overall I seriously questioned if housekeeping knew what they were doing. Breakfast was lacking. No fresh fruit, the hot items consisted of microwaveable burritos and eggs sandwiches, eggs, and make your own waffles. Also had yogurt, hardboiled eggs, toast. Overall, it felt like a sinking ship trying to save themselves.... it has been ghetto too long to recover enough to meet BW standards. The only positives were the friendly staff and that they switched our rooms. But seriously, the first building needs to be demolished. Places like this attract characters that create an environment that is not family friendly. We were traveling with two small children and one on the way, so we realize that it effects our expectations, but I would never recommend this property and am surprised it can even keep the BW name.
Staff was professional, courteous and helpful. The room was comfortable. The price was excellent compared to other hotels. Good location, easy access to freeways. Internet worked perfect. We stayed 5 days and were very comfortable. The breakfast wasn't up to standard but an easy fix.
I have always enjoyed Best Western Hotels. Again your entire staff was courteous, professional, and accommodating. I was travelling with my elderly mother who enjoys travelling and meeting new people. She was treated very well by your entire staff.
We stopped on the way to Stanford. The asphalt in the parking lot looked old and dirty. Several rooms on the second floor had mattresses leaning against the balcony. The overall ambience had vibes of a weekly/monthly rental type motel. Office had a solid metal door with no view into the lobby. Office was so dark, I could hear voices but could not see who was in there. I closed the door and we left feeling we had landed in the bad end of town. Never even checked in. Very surprised that this was actually a Best Western property!
The room appeared clean but a lot of dust in an around doors windows etc. Bed very uncomfortable. Bums come in for breakfasts. The price is fair but still high for the accmodations. There are not many motel in the area so they are able to get max. price for there rooms
Amazing hotel. Staff is very helpful and kind. The breakfast is amazing and delicious. coffee is served 24/7. The rooms are big and roomy and you'll most likely get two double beds. The room has everything coffee pot, blow dryer, ironing board, fridge, microwAve and much more.
Sketchy characters loitering on balcony and in lot, could not locate remote in my room, no shampoo--had to wash hair with hand soap, first room they assigned to me had not been cleaned, and worst of all: I had bed bug bites after my stay. Disgusting. Front desk staff was very nice though.
My husband and I came to this hotel to get away and we had so much fun! our room had a Jacuzzi tub in the bathroom and the free breakfast in the morning was great! we loved this hotel and all of the employees were so nice!
Not in that great of a location. Not a whole lot to do in walking distance. But compared to the other hotels in the area, it's definitely one of the better ones. Depending on what day of the week it is, it's usually fairly quiet.
Well.... Bed comfy. Very noisy due to freeway and heater in room. Weak WIFI. Did not stay for breakfast due to them not bring out hot entrees until 1.5 hrs laster. Slow check in, but very sweet girl at desk. Didn't like the porn on the TV since we had our grandchildren with us. We told the desk and they were not aware that it was on.
Good value, kind staff and COMFY BED! The eggs at breakfast were not good at all. Also, when you request a late check-out, housekeeping may not get the memo. They entered my room, I was not happy with that...
The Hotel is under construction with building supplys in the parkinglot and areas flagged off. The staff were great to work with at check in and check out. They alliowed me to change rooms when I discovered the WIFI was not working too.
Older worn out property, unclean rooms without one light bulb bright enough to read by. Stains on the bedspread, feces on the front of the toilet, cracks in the ceiling, sticky doors that will not shut without slamming, my room and others as apparent being awaken by the headboard backing against the wall. Sink faucet with no control from hot to cold settings. Will not stay here again.
The room was clean, with plenty of space but the fan in the bathroom was loud and would wake up my partner when I did my business in the middle of the night and in the morning. Pillows were soft and generous and we had a one room with the bathroom in the middle of two beds and in between were the sinks , felt like two bedrooms. The cost of the room came with two drinks at the bar too, which was great after a long days drive. Two drinks and some free chips, then I was able to walk to our room without a problem and no relaxed. The breakfast was was hot , with eggs and sausage, but no bacon, with plenty of carbs and coffee, too. Yogurt, apple juice, orange juice and milk were also available with cereal, oatmeal and potatoes to get you through the morning. I think I saw some apples and oranges too, but I get not have any.
the breakfast staff Christina was exceptional and the front desk staff Taylor very courtious and helpfull tor our 3 day stay. I have a new reservation already booked for the near future. Cant wait to come back and relax. The complimentary breakfast was great too.
This hotel is going thru a renovation. Wait until it is finished or you might be put in one of the rooms that need renovating. The breakfast is average, grounds need cleaning up, staff is great though.
There are 2 BW's close to each other in Roseville. This one was the least expensive of the two and it shows in a couple of ways. Cable tv was the worst by Best Western standards and the beds were little more than cloth covered springs. My wife and I were bouncing all over the place whenever we moved, they were so bad.
The hotel is in a nice spot , rooms need updating for electronics and lighting. Staff was always helpful and courteous...breakfast needs improving. I have stayed here several times , it has a good price for the short stays . I would not recommend for a long time stay...due to the rooms needing upgrading
Every week I spend the night at the Best Western in Roseville. Every stay is relaxing and pleasant. The staff is very nice and accommodating. Taylor, the receptionist and hotel clerk is always pleasant and friendly. She knows all the best places to eat and who delivers. Marissa, the manager is very pleasant and very accommodating as well. Once the hotel was booked solid and I didn't have a reservation, Marissa was still able to find me a room. Once I left my sweatshirt that was a gift from someone and Josephine the housekeeping manager saved it for me until I returned the following week. Needless to say the staff is great and friendly..
Going to Roseville and need comfort? This is the place. 3-days of peace and comfort. Close to almost anything you could want. The room was spacious and comfortable. Microwave and refrigerator included as well as free easy to log in WiFi.
my sister and I were on a fun trip to sacramento and roseville, when we got to roseville we looked up Best Western knowing we would have luck in finding a hotel. When we got there and checked in the front desk clerk was very cheerful and welcoming. We checked in for one night but when we checked out our room and realized the place was very clean crisp white sheets, coffee and bathtub that was useable and free internet we called front desk and booked another night. breakfast both mornings were full of good food, all fresh. We felt like a million bucks since the previous night we were forced to stay at the lexington hotel in sacramento and it was a poor choice but it was late and we felt stuck. I give best western a 10!!
Room was really nice and roomy, although a/c -heater unit did not work very well, room a bit stuffy at times. Furnishings and amenities excellent. Easy access from highway, good neighborhood with lots of restaurant choices. Breakfast choices pretty good. Only real complaint was no ice in ice machine both days I was there.
Room was large enough to do work in the evenings - a desk and a table to use w/ two oversized chairs and an office chair; in room hot tub/shower combo was very relaxing - kinda tight space for the tub, but it works; bed was comfy and w/ the ac set low, the blankets/comforter were just the amount of warm.
So I am a little bit picky about my hotel rooms and with all of the reviews I read AFTER I had already booked my room made me very nervous! When I pulled up I thought to myself, oh man I wish I would have read the reviews first!!! BUT I WAS WRONG! The rooms were quite nice and very clean.. so let me tell you first about what happened.... We pulled up and went to check in. We were about a half hour early for our 3:00 check in, but I wasnt going to be back to the hotel again until 10pm and I REALLY wanted to get checked in early. The nice young lady at the counter informed me that they werent checking anyone in right now because their washing machine broke and housekeeping was at the laundry mat trying to get towels and sheets washed. At first I thought to myself, here we go!! She asked me if I could wait just a minute while she checked to see if a room was clean and available. When she came back she informed me that there werent any rooms cleaned yet, but she really wanted to accommodate me to get checked in so I wouldnt have to do it so late at night. She asked if I would mind getting checked in, getting my keys and being able to put my belongings in the room but not be in there until it was cleaned. This was PERFECT for me because I really just needed to do just that. Get checked in and leave again. So she got us checked in and we went to our room which was number 105 located across from the main lobby area. We walked in and it was actually quite clean for being "dirty". We set out belongings down and housekeeping was right there at our door to get things done. We left and came back later that night. We walked in to a beautiful looking room! The amenities were actually quite modern! The beds were soft and comfortable, there were alot of pillows on the bed that were quite comfortable as well. The bathroom was very clean. Everything was in nice working order. I would definitely stay here again. I felt nice and safe and that was my biggest concern. The breakfast had a few problems but overall it was pretty good! They had make your own waffles(which they happened to be out of the cooking spray so they took it away and didnt bring it back), cereal and milk, muffins, bagels, toast, breakfast burritos, sausage mcmuffin type things, fruit, orange juice, coffee***SUPER WEAK COFFEE though. Overall everything was very very good.
This hotel is perhaps the worst to stay in not only in Roseville, but the entire state of California. After making reservations 6 months in advance, we did not have the rooms we asked for, which was one room with a queen bed, and another room with two queen beds-- we instead received each room with one queen bed. We then had no choice but to stay in the rooms, and lo and behold, we had BEDBUGS in one of the rooms. When we reported this, the man at the front desk was nonchalant and didn't care about the issue. This hotel is filth since not only were there BEDBUGS in the sheets, but the sheets had hair and didn't appear to have been washed. May I repeat, there were BEDBUGS in our room, and who knows how many others had them that went unnoticed. You could stay here if you want, just remember to bring a hazmat suit to sleep in. Horrible hotel and employees.
The people in the area seemed like they were people that lived in the hotel, very loud, changed rooms twice due to it smelling like cigarettes. The second room had a broken window, didn't feel safe. Asked for a refund and it was denied. Don't waste your time or money there.
The hotel has all needed ammenities-good clean rooms and beds, ample breakfast excellent and helpful staff who went out of their way to help us as we had left clothes in the room and had to call the hotel back to hold them until we returned for the pick-up,
Rooms were clean and the staff was extremely courteous and professional. The front desk representative Taylor went above and beyond her customer service duties to make sure my stay was pleasant. Can't wait to come back!!
We approached the staff with complaints with the way in which they handled the guests. It was obvious they staff were using the broken coffee maker to fuel their early morning fun time. The new girl was the only personnel that cared. When approaching the desk the gentleman did not even stand up from his chair or put his phone down when he greeted you.
This room had potential dangerous electrical problems that despite several notifications to the staff the issues were ignored. There was no GFCI protective electrical receptacle in the bath / sink area which is in violation of the Uniform Building and National electrical codes.
This motel was certainly adequate. albeit a bit funky. For under $100 the brekfast was not great and the furnishings out dated. However the staff was great and the bed clean, new and comfortable. Not worth more than $79.
This Best Western is very old and is not well kept. If I could have changed in the middle of our stay, I would have. I had three rooms and none of them were much to write home about. Carpets were very dirty, keys didn't work many nights, no coffee pots in some of our rooms, hair dryer didn't work. Poor quality.
Recommend this hotel get major renovations , toilet not flushing, brown sewer residue backed up in shower tub, wireless service was down, air conditioner not cooling at all stale breakfast items being served
Breakfast was just frozen sandwiches to warm up in one microwave/TV remotes and TV broken/ Shower didn't work/ front desk hotel answering folks were rude to callers and put callers on hold for up to 10 minutes. The exterior was nice and the room decor was nice also. Vending machines were extremely limited. I would not stay here again.
Staff very helpful for us untech old folks not familiar with the area. They phoned family for us when my hearing aid broke & couldn't hear on cell phone and also provided directions. Room was clean and comfortable. Appreciated the breakfast foods, saved time hunting for cafe.
My husband and I were visiting family in gold country (Auburn, CA) and decided to stay nearer I-5 for the sake of convenience. This decision was also based on the very tempting price of staying at the Roseville Inn. We were happily greeted by the check-in staff upon arrival, after a long drive. The room that we stayed in for 8 nights was #142 and was clean, thoughtfully arranged, and had both a very comfortable king sized bed as well as a king sized bathtub. It's oval and is great for soaking. The only really sad element on this property is the lack of a hot tub next to the outside pool. The pool is not heated, even during the temps of 100 degrees in September, the water was never really warm enough in the pool to enjoy...it would have been great, though, to jump in the pool to cool off, then switch to a hot tub to take off the chill. The hotel location is super convenient to the Roseville Mall, the Antique Mall, and the Bar & Grill next door. Don't miss out on the weekend breakfast @ the Bar & Grill...great food and endless champagne or Mimosas!
The room was filthy and smelled. The carpet was stained throughout the room. I would not have believed the this was a Best Western had there not been the sign. Stay away from this place like the plague. FILTHY...FILTHY....FLITHY!!!!
I'm not sure why so many horrible reviews. Ok, it's not the greatest, it's average, but definitely not horrible. Taylor at the front desk was great! Rooms were average, bed was comfortable, and the room seemed clean. Nice pool area, free wifi, free parking, and free continental breakfast. Our room was $89 for a Saturday night, which seemed average for that particular area. The hotel is located on Harding, which is a busy street, but the hotel seemed quiet, and was convenient, and close to shopping and restaurants. Probably wouldn't stay again, but only because there are nicer hotels for only a little more in the area.
