    « Very helpful staff »

A very nice hotel. The rooms were clean, the jacuzzi was okay and breakfast was adequate. The staff were wonderful, cheerful, very helpful and went out of their way to make us feel comfortable. It was also very quiet at night.

    « Great Place!! »

This was a great place to stay. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly and breakfast was good. Only room for improvement would be the bed. It was way too hard for my liking. There was even a wedding reception going on and it was really quiet. I also liked the 24hr pool. Would stay at this location again!!

    « Good Value »

This is a decent hotel for the money. Everything was very nice except for the very low, round bowl toilets. Service was excellent, the room and bed was comfortable. This is a pet-friendly hotel, which can be good if you travel with a pet, not so good if you have pet allergies or dislike noisy dogs.

« Awesome Place to Stay »

Great place to stay. I have stayed here 3 times now and a member of my team has stayed there a couple times. More members from our company will be staying here going forward. It is right off the interstate so access is easy.

« Best Western Plus North Platte Inn & Suite »

Everything was as expected and in working order. We were disappointed with the Breakfast area as the selection was below what we expected from a Best Western Plus hotel. The room was large and provided enough space for the 3 people in the room.

« Bath tub is dangerous »

Shape of bath tub floor slants way too much for safe showering. Makes it difficult to feel steady and safe while standing in the tub. It also took too long to check in while employees stood around without asking if I needed help. This is why I try to stay at Hampton Inns.

    « Outstanding hotel »

We loved this Best Western. Of course we love all of them that's why we always stay with Best Western. But this hotel was incredible. I would love to stay there again for a longer period of time. One night just wasn't enough.

    « Rested but... »

The hotel was nice and all...just that I was double charged. Other than that, enjoyed the few hours I was there to rest. All good BW. Just hurry my refund, The breakfast was awesome...the lobby was welcoming and the staff was friendly and helpful.

« Excellent hotel to stay between Kansas City and Casper Wyoming »

The hotel is well looked after, has a happy hour (monday- Thursday), excellent fitness facility and friendly staff. The only drawback is that you need to drive to any dining establishment. I will stay there again.

« decent room but very thin walls »

The hotel room was nice but it had very thin walls. I could hear one neighbors TV over my own, could hear people talking in the hallway all night (which they sounded like they were having a blast which was great but since I had 13 hours of driving the next day I really needed some sleep), and the wind kept making the door to outside slam every time someone used it. The hotel staff was nice and the hotel is located right off of the highway. I was just surprised by how much I could hear everyone else conversations, coughs, tv shows, etc.

    « Great Happy Hour »

We were very surprised to have a complimentary Happy Hour when we arrived. It was great to have after a long days drive. The hotel was very clean and quiet. The breakfast items were a typical complimentary breakfast. This hotel is less than 1 year old. All the staff were helpful and caring.

    « So comfortable! »

These rooms and beds were the most comfortable we've had in years. They layout of the room worked so well for our family. One king and one queen bed did the trick!! And we weren't tripping over each other in the room either.

    5
« Cozy stop for our emergency stop »

We had an excellent stay for this being an emergency stopping place. The bed was very soft and the room was very clean. We got a little turned around because they have 2 wings and 2 sets of elevators. I'm always impressed with Best Western's breakfast. Today was no different. I was also impressed to see that they offered a gluten-free bagel. Only way take it one more step is to offer a dairy-free yogurt! Great price for the room.

    3
    « overnight »

Staff was unfriendly and did all they could to not help us or avoid us. Room was in fair condition. Pool area was busy and dirty with used/soiled towels and trash. for being a newer facility in the area there was promise of a decent place. We were disappointed.

« Fortunate to find a room at all »

It had been a long day with crane watching and travel. I arrived around dinner time to discover that getting a room in North Platte would be a challenge. The next day I discovered it was due to the railroad hiring many folks who were staying in the hotels while going through the hiring/training process. Thanks to the fact I am a loyalty member who has been staying in Best Western hotels lately they kindly gave me a big, big room for me, myself and I. The last room. I had a king, a queen and a sofa bed to choose from on the top floor. The room was very nice. The reason I didn't give the hotel a 5 star is due to the "manager's reception" that they have in the evening. Since there were many men who had probably been working very hard all day some of them took advantage of this free wine and beer a little too much. Being a solo woman I felt uncomfortable in the lobby and around the exit/entrances/lobby/elevator. Add to this that unlike CO, there is no restriction about smoking next to the exits/entrances to the buildings so I had to be careful about how I traversed the building. At one point there was a group of men arguing politics at the main entrance - not a great experience coming back from dinner. I waited to go down for breakfast until I assumed the men had gone to work and found it to be a much different scene. More family friendly.

« Great hotel and staff. »

our trips were a combination business/pleasure and we could not have asked for a better experience. My father uses a walker and the handicapped rooms and staff accommodated his needs perfectly. We used this hotel for a trip last June and this March.

    « all good , we'll be back »

very nice, pleasant staff, clean, all good, breakfast was fine, parking real good, well light outside, nice and quite in room, very important, close to shopping, food, gas, we'll be back next year as we pass through, thanks

    « Noisy »

This was a nice hotel but there were a lot of young teens partying near my room. I called the desk to ask them to go back in their rooms as they were yelling in the hallway. I had asked the desk at check in to put me somewhere away from noisy young folks. I wish hotels had a section for older quiet folks and a 30 and under section for the noisemakers.

« Overnight stop on way home »

Stopped here to stay overnight on way home to Denver. Staff at check in was very friendly and welcoming. The room was clean and well laid out. There was a mini fridge and microwave in room. There was 2 sinks one in bathroom and the other outside of it. Great for everyone to get ready in the morning. They have afternoon reception in the lobby with beer, wine, and snacks very nice. Breakfast was far from standard. They had bisquits and gravy, eggs, waffles, bacon, sausage, etc. Didn't use the indoor pool, hot tub, but looked very nice and was open 24 hrs. Will stay here again.

    « Back again »

As promised by management. Upon my arrival. I was greeted with a smile. Check in was a breeze. My status was honored. It has been a great pleasure to return with proper training in place. This property has all the amenities to make your travel a breeze. Will return.

« Great motel at great price »

We have stayed at this motel several times and always have a good experience. Rooms are clean, breakfast is good and they have a truck parking area for those who need more space to park. Will stay here again.

« Clean and updated, good for large families »

We had a good stay recently for 1 night with our 4 children. A big plus of this hotel is that they offer rooms with 2 beds AND a pull out queen. We actually had a king, a queen, and the pull out which was nice! The pool and fitness areas were really nice, the kids had a great time swimming. We loved that both rooms were open 24 hrs so we could swim early before we got back on the road. The breakfast was good, standard hotel breakfast with a mix of hot and cold options, and was well maintained. The staff was helpful and friendly. Our only complaint was that our room was not ready when we tried to check in around 4:30pm (which is already well past check in) and we were told to come back later. It was ready when we returned at 8pm, but the beds were sloppy and there was a visible stain on one comforter. Overall, a decently priced hotel, easy to find, with large rooms for big families.

    3
    « Ok »

Stayed in jacuzzi suite on NYE. This room is essentially 2 regular rooms without the dividing wall. 2 person Jacuzzi was in old bathroom space ( no toilet and sink outside room. No ambience to room. Bright lighting, tv that was incorrectly hooked up. Not what we were expecting

    3
« Could have been better »

Booked this property on line for it was pet friendly. There was NO mention of additional charges for having said pet in the room. A small animal and almost $30 fee? Would have been nice to know before hand. Other charge less. Checkin was smooth, checkout was smooth. Room was clean. Wifi worked as advertised. Staff was friendly and helpful. The floor was rather noisy.... being mainly a wood construction that's what happens. Floors creak and heavy walking resonates through the hall/rooms. Nice that they had an elevator. Breakfast was...... ah.....marginal. I'd happily pay for a better experience. Just sayin. Air conditioner was able to be placed on constant which was nice. Over all, it was okay.

    « Excellent Stay! »

My husband and I traveled with our dog from Grand Junction, CO. I was tired from driving. The appetizers and complimentary wine & beer was a great reward! Thank you for the wonderful experience! Great staff too!

« May be come back may be not »

Front desk personal was in a attitude I never experience before. EJ: No welcome words or how can I help you SR. I need to ask about the facility ej: Breakfast, Gim swimming pool etc. The check out personal was very professional.

« kid and pet friendly »

North Platte Inn & Suites was awesome! We had a large dog and three small kids (ages 8, 5 & 3). They were gracious with everyone and made us feel at home. When the kids spilled a drink, it was not a problem. Very family friendly.

    5
    « Great Stay »

This place is great. The staff is very welcoming. Its clean, its new, its wonderful. Very unexpected I didn't expect much but I was blown away with this hotel. Kids loved the pool, fitness center is great.

pleasantly surprised at the welcoming feeling you get when you enter. All staff were friendly and courteous and wanted to make sure our stay was a great experience and it was..best kept secret along I-80 in Nebraska..will definitely stay and recommend to all I know that travel that route...

    « Nice hotel »

Staff was great, efficient and friendly. Rooms have been remodeled and have added a new addition. I would stay at this hotel again. This hotel has a good location, right off the interstate and not far from downtown and the hospital.

« One of the better lodging experiences this year »

While driving from Denver to Sioux Falls we spent the night at the North Platte Best Western Inn Plus. We hadn't expected anything special when we stopped for the night, but both the service and accommodations were excellent.

    5
    « New Hotel »

This hotel was a pleasant surprise during our two night stay. They offer reward points for Best Western and IHG members. Friendly staff and great sleep on very cozy mattresses. We stayed on a quiet 3rd floor. 24 hour pool and hot tub. No complaints.

    4
« Clean Rooms, Friendly Staff, Hot Breakfast »

Just what we needed. Can't beat a clean room, friendly front desk staff that appreciated you and a hot breakfast of scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, biscuits and gravy, yogurt, sweet rolls, oj etc. Breakfast was served at 6:00am. They opened a bit earlier which helped us get back on the road. Only downside was the parking near the end of the long wing part of the hotel was very dark. Not lit up well.

    5
    « very nice »

great value at a great price the rooms are very clean and the staff has always been very helpful. I normally stay at a competitors hotel but because of the great price this is and the value of the rooms and staff I will now call on this place first. I plan on being back in this area soon and will stay with these folks many more times in the future.

    5
    « A great stay. »

We checked in around 6:30 pm after a long tiring day of driving and we were told there were free appetizers and drinks. It was great! The staff at this Best Western is focused on being friendly and giving great customer service. We will plan to stay here again.

« Pleasant Stay at BW - North Platte Inn & Suites »

We had a nice stay at the North Platte Inn & Suites after a long day on the road. The staff were friendly and professional. Internet/Wi-Fi was fast and reliable. Rooms were clean and quiet and beds comfortable for a good night's sleep. The breakfast featured hot and cold offerings and fresh fruit. We intend to return sometime and check out the railroad yards in North Platte and we'll definitely choose to stay there again.

    3
    « poor internet »

tv remote and internet didn't sync so you could not watch television without waiting for someone to come up and fix the connection and that could take as much as an hour or more before someone showed up

  • 5
« Great place to rest! »

Nice clean hotel with plenty of yard space to exercise the dogs, great staff at the front desk and breakfast room, very nice hotel! Quick and easy to find off the freeway, easy access for RVs or folks traveling with large trucks and trailers... Quiet and restful location!

    5
« Great time and stay »

We enjoyed ourselves. Staff was great and helpful. The hotel location and people were knowledgible. Easy to get around. Being there in the fall not all attractions were open. We did have a great time exploring.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

Great service. Great room. Great night's rest. Great high speed Wi-Fi/internet. Great Happy Hour with snacks. Great breakfast (could use Pancakes and French toast though). If in North Platte, NE, this is definitely the hotel to stay at. Or anywhere really.

    5
    « North Platte Experience »

Very clean and updated hotel. Staff is very professional and went the extra mile to fix a billing issue. Would stay there again. Would of liked to have been closer to restaurants and other places. Very quite location otherwise.

    5
    « Comfy and clean »

Super clean and modern accommodations , with beds that were the most comfortable of our 3 week road trip. I seriously considered stripping the bed to see what kind of mattress it was! The facility was almost booked with girls high school golf and yet we never heard a peep, so the walls must be soundproofed! Room price includes breakfast, but we left before breakfast was served(6:00am). Location right off highway was convenient for travelers . I would definitely stay here again while on a road trip.we didn't use any of the facilities or look for restaurants, but I heard another couple say they had a wonderful meal at Brothers restaurant, so there are options for meals nearby. The indoor pool area looked nice, not far from the lobby and next to the elevators.

    5
    « Beatuiful Best Western! »

We loved the property. Our room was handicap accessible and absolutely lovely and clean! The pool & Jacuzzi are opened 24/7 since this is a Best Western Plus. That was really cool and unexpected. Breakfast was lovely and fresh, constantly replenished. I HIGHLY recommend staying here, the value is excellent.

    1
« Disgusting bathroom musty room and dirty floors »

My bathroom floor was disgusting. When they came to "fix" it they brought a filthy mop and left more stuff on the floor and left stuff from the mop on the carpet and used a Kleenex to pick up stuff left behind. SO GROSS! Then my tv and coffee maker didn't work so I had to pull the dresser out to get the tv cables in the right slots and try to find the plug in for the coffee maker. The room was musty. I expect this from a $65 room, not a $130 room! The next night I stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Ogallala NE for the same price and it was impeccable and well vented. I would not stay here until they do a deep cleaning.

    5
« Great Place to Stay »

Professional staff. Great rooms. Quality breakfast. Easy access. Coffee on all the time. If you enjoy a nice quiet place with a staff concerned about your comfort...this is a great place. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

    5
    « Great hotel »

We stumbled upon this hotel as we were searching for a place to stay while driving through Nebraska. We were very pleased with the girls at the desk, the rooms and the breakfast was very good. All of the staff was cheerful and helpful. We searched specifically for a Best Western for our next night on our way home.

    4
« Great place after a long drive »

We were never so happy to pull into this place, after driving in the rain. It's pet friendly which was a plus. We enjoyed the stay, great breakfast, nice set up and a nice place to eat in the hotel. We would for sure stay again. It has microwave which was great. For just a overnight stay it was worked well.

  • 1
« This is a Best Western Minus, not a Plus »

This hotel very large and is poorly constructed. Our one king bed room was the size of a postage stamp, and one could hardly turn around in the bathroom (the room was much smaller than similar rooms at other BW+s). All the light bulbs were low wattage CFLs; room felt like a dungeon. The scrambled eggs at breakfast were frothy and nearly tasteless--poured out of a carton, I presume. The hotel is not a good value; room was as expensive as a room in Des Moines, but North Platte is not an expensive place.

    5
    « room with a balcony »

We stayed in the tower and had a double queen room with a balcony. The desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. The afternoon we arrived there was a wine and beer affair in the breakfast area. That was fun to attend even though neither of us drink. The snacks were delightful. Breakfast the next morning was plentiful with both hot and cold foods. Hotel is easy to find and located near numerous restaurants.

    5
    « Very nice »

This was our first Best Western Plus stay. The room was very nice and clean. The pool was well kept and fine for water exercises. There was a good breakfast with a nice variety. We would stay here again.

    5
« Phenomenal and wonderful motel! »

We love staying here every time we travel this way! Motel is great! Rooms are excellent! Clean! Comfortable beds! Love the amenities! Quiet!!!!! Nice! Breakfast is absolutely the best!! Everything you could want! Staff is wonderful, friendly and helpful! We take our two dogs as well! Never a problem! Staff is friendly with them! Love the 24 hr per day pool hours!! Pool is clean and hot tub very nice!

    2
    « Don't stay at NP »

Rooms are too small for BW Plus standards. The Plus must be for price. Bathroom had hair on the floor and flies in the room. Check-in didn't know how to handle the Reward Gift Card and never tried to resolve. Didn't receive my Elite package at check-in.

    3
    « Business Stay »

The room could have been cleaner, but overall a good stay. The breakfast was good and the rooms were nice, however not the cleanest I have been in. The check in person was amazing and did a great job. Overall a good place to stay.

    5
    « Overall Best Value »

Excellent hotel (3 star) for the money. We "Pricelined" it for $85 which came out to $105 after tax. The rooms were clean and up to date. The pool and spa were open 24/7 (a lot of pools aren't by the way). The staff was friendly and the continental breakfast was better than most for quality and selection. The business center had unlimited color printing. The room also had a mini fridge and microwave which are amenities that aren't a given anymore especially in 4 and 5 star hotel rooms. Basically, I was able to conduct all of the business that I needed to because there wasn't a FedEx Office anywhere near by. I fed the kids a wonderful breakfast. The kids and I were able to play in the pool and spa until our heart's content late at night. The beds were comfortable and the soap and shampoo were nice quality as well. A super comfortable and affordable stay especially for North Platte, Nebraska.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

We really appreciated the quality of the room that we stayed in...it was a bit pricey though for the time of night we arrived (2:00 a.m.) ....Fantastic Breakfast and very friendly breakfast servers... The front desk staff was accomodating too

    5
« Great Comfort in North Platte »

Arrived late at night and was greeted and checked in by a wide awake attendant. Our hotel room was clean, easily accessible, and comfortable. The hotel offered a limited but good breakfast. We would definitely stay in this hotel again.

    3
« Decent road side hotel »

I had planned to stay in the Hampton Inn for my 2nd night of this west coast road trip but when we arrived at 11:30PM it was fully booked for separate bed rooms so I travelled across the road to sleep here. It was cheaper than the Hampton but I did notice a very slight difference in cleanliness and the pleasantness of the room design. The beds however were great and breakfast was pretty good.

« Perfect for a stop over or staying a while »

I came in tired with dogs - staff so very helpful and approachable. Room was great, comfortable and clean. Water, coffee everywhere - I like this. I have nothing but good to say and it was affordable! Bed comfortable - just a bit hard for me, but I know I am not the typical person when it come to beds - I like them very very, soft.

« BW North Platte, NE »

The staff was very helpful when registering and checking into the hotel. Room was very nice and roomy. Clean. Hotel is located close to interstate as well as many places to eat. No issues with the hotel itself, just disrepectful other guests that were loud in middle of the night. Had many selections for breakfast. All around good experience.

    5
    « Nice Hotel »

We checked in before 3 pm and they had a room for us. The front staff was extremely nice. The rooms were nicely decorated and very clean. It is close to I-80. Great restaurants close by. We would stay here again.

    5
    « Big Thanks »

The front desk staff and housekeeping staff are extremely kind and responsive. They sent me items left in our room very quickly and were very nice when I called. The hotel is also nice and the breakfast good and the staff attentive there as well. Definitely a good place to stop!

    5
    « great stay »

Saw this hotel had a good review and rate so chose it over a few differnet choices. It was modern and clean. Room was nice but if u have pet allergies request floor where no pets allowed since they are pet friendly. The breakfast was great, nice variety and attentive staff. There is also a nice pool and gm. On one review stated free beer, wine and snacks. This during happy hour 5 to 7pm only so plan to arrive on time. All in all a great facility.

    « Retirees »

This hotel has a brand new part(14 mos old) in what they call the "Tower". The other part has been remodeled but is not as nice as the new part. We were put in room 113 in the older part and you could tell it was old, even though it was supposedly updated. The bathroom floor was stained and the tub faucet was not clean. I asked Kendall, who was working the front desk, to check the bathroom. She indicated that it was not acceptable and she offered to move us to the Tower side, which we gladly accepted. We really appreciated Kendall accommodating us. She was very helpful and friendly. I would recommend that you request a room in the Tower. We also appreciated the two hour management reception, in which they offered free wine and beer, along with many snacks. Angie was the hostess and she was very friendly and efficient. Angie also worked the breakfast the following morning. She and the other woman did an excellent job maintaining the food offerings. They provided a good, hot breakfast with omelets, sausage and bacon, biscuits and gravy, etc. Thus was an above average breakfast. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you are staying in North Platte!

    4
    « A decent hotel. »

This hotel had free internet and breakfast which I think are pretty standard anymore. The is a pool, but it's not very big. Trailer parking area was very rough, but easily accessible. The room was fine except the curtains that didn't close and put me on display to anyone walking by.

    4
« Best Western Plus North Platte »

This was a very nice hotel and looks new. But it seems they are cutting too many corners on the cost of the amenities provided such as toilet paper and facial tissue. For the price charged for the room, they could have provided much better paper products.

    4
    « Standard Best Western »

Standard Best Western (that's a good thing). Lobby was updated and clean, rooms were clean. Breakfast area was well stocked and there was plenty of seating. We had a 2 queen and the air conditioner blew directly at the closest bed. We were only using 1 queen so it didn't impact us, but if we had to use the one closest to the window it would have been unpleasant.

    5
« Great service, clean stay »

While travelling cross-country, stayed the night at the BW North Platte. Clean place, good service. We enjoyed the pool and the breakfast. Thanks to the North Platte staff for making it work for our family.

This is a exceptionally nice hotel. The check in staff and the staff in the breakfast area are very. The breakfast was delicious. My room was very well decorated and the bed was very comfortable. I would stay there again.

« End of road trip »

This was our second visit at a Best Western plus hotel in as many days. The first hotel in Moline, IL was a decent stay, large room and fairly priced. This hotel was higher by $47.49 with no additional charges added differently than the last Best Western Plus, and the room was half the size. Not to mention the room was furthest from the entrance and on the second floor. The breakfast was decent and the room was clean and smelled okay. Two of the receptionist seemed to be having a mild altercation before and during our checking in. So pleasantries were minimal. As with the previous Best Western Plus, google had the directions screwed up and made it a journey to locate. Best things; This hotel was clean and quiet.

    « Home base for eclipse 2017 »

Stayed at BW N Platte for the eclipse. Room was expensive for this special event but that's expected. Staff was friendly and very helpful. Room in new section was in great shape and fairly quiet. Exercise equipment was in good shape and clean. Happy hour 6-8 pm was fun and libations well stocked.

My only complaint was a barking dog that had to be walked past our door multiple times. Not the hotels fault. Next time, I will probably avoid pets allowed hotels. Otherwise, the family suite was as pictured.

« Very nice and clean »

I was very impressed with this hotel! It was nice and clean, staff was very nice. The rooms were big and bathroom had everything you could need. The only odd thing was how the cleaning staff had to put carts in the hallway by my room. It was a bit crowded.

« Wild west girls weekend! »

We stayed here to see the sites in the North Platte area. The hotel was much nicer than we expected. It has been remodeled and is very up-to-date. They had a lot to choose from on the breakfast bar. The rooms were very clean. It would have been nice if they hit stamps at the front desk to send postcards. I would recommend this as a great place to stay.

Room was excellent - had 2 queens with bunk beds. Grandson loved having his own room. Had no issues with check in or check out. Only issue we had was one room key didn't work. would definitely recommend

    « Five Stars!!! »

I have stayed in a lot of Best Westerns, but this is absolutely the most modern and comfortable one I've been in to date. The decor was fabulous and the rooms were both spacious and amazingly comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful, and while I didn't get a chance to use the pool, I believe it was open 24/7, which is nice for those coming in late who still want to relax and swim. Excellent hotel!

« Nice room rude staff »

First words from desk clerk on check-in: Do you have a reservation? Never said hello, asked how our trip was etc. I was going to overlook that , because it was a clean, modern and comfortable room. Then housekeeping started knocking at 8am, give or take. That was fine. We didn't have the do not disturb sign out. Nor did we put it out. They were cleaning the rooms around ours. The third time someone knocked, I was seriously annoyed. This hotel could use some method of allowing housekeeping to know specifically when rooms are empty. It is unfair that the cleaners have to be in this situation. Imo, this is a one off, but it will also lead me to think twice about where we stay the next time we stop at North Platte

We we're traveling to Minnesota for our son's wedding. Checked in around midnight which took probably 20 minutes. Other than that, great hotel, good sleep and satisfying breakfast. BW have definitely stepped it up!

« Nice, average for BW »

The hotel is modern and very nice by external appearance. Check in/out clerks were friendly and polite. The breakfast had a variety to chose from and well stocked. Breakfast attendants were very nice and accommodating. Now for the disappointment. We give an overall 3 due to cleanliness. Cleaning wasn't the best in room and the common areas. This was such a disappointment based on the fact that this was a newer hotel. We can only think that ins matter of time it will look run down. Pool was FREEZING! Hot tub was cool and not hot! We have been traveling for 32 days and are frequent guests at Best Westerns, but disappointed with this one. If you don't mind minimal cleaning, but nice decor this one would work. If you expect exceptional cleanliness and beautiful decor you may want to shop around.

Stay at this motel often and never had a bad experience. Staff is always willing to help and if you need anything extra they go out of their way to help out. Restaurants real close to location which is ideal for me to walk to dinner.

    « Very nice hotel »

This is a very nice, modern hotel. The bed was great. Felt like my Tempur-pedic at home. The rooms were quiet. The free breakfast was typical fare, but the area was kept stocked and cleaned. There were only 2 floors but there were 2 elevators, so we never had to wait around for an elevator. I would stay here again.

    « Wonderful staff! »

My mother, brother and I were traveling for a funeral. Our reservation somehow ended up being for a hearing impaired room, not a wheelchair accessible room. We arrive late in the evening, the hotel was relatively full, but the front desk clerk really took the time to help us get the room we needed to be comfortable on our journey. She walked me though all the available wheelchair accessible rooms, remembered to grab a roll-away bed because the room that best suited our needs didn't have quite enough sleeping space, and really went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. I didn't get her name, but I can't thank her enough for the effort she made on our behalf during our journey.

    « Great Breakfast »

We stayed here on our trip west. The rooms are clean and well appointed. Pet friendly also!! Check in was a bit of a mess. They had one person and a bunch of people trying to check in. The breakfast was one of the BEST free breakfasts. Full breakfast!! Not just some prepackaged danish or bagels. Hot food and plenty of it.

Catherine's knowledge of the things to do in the area was helpful in our selection local things to visit while in the area. Kendall's resourcefulness in supplying 2 "AA" batteries for my temporary use was amazing when she took them from the lobby remote. Great staff and great accommodations.

Superb hosts and service. Quiet and spotless room, very large beds, very good linens, microwave and fridge, good business centre, excellent breakfast and plenty of it. The room even had tea which was wonderful (especially for non coffee drinkers). Would certainly recommend this hotel to anyone and would certainly stay there again

    « Excellent choice »

I read mixed reviews and I am a very picky traveler. I got a great deal through Priceline for $109 a night. 2 moms driving from Montana to Houston with 4 kids. I wasn't sure what to expect. Rooms were modern, decorated well and clean. Mattress were a little "blah" but above average for hotel class. Breakfast was excellent. Most important, we arrived at 1am after 15 hours on the road and they had everything ready including room keys. Took us less than 3 minutes to check in. Waffles, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, cereal, breads, yogurt and fruit for breakfast. The price of the other name brand hotels in the area were $179+ a night. We made a great choice!

« Good Hotel, But Pricey for What You Get »

We just came off a month-long road trip across the US and we stayed in 20 different hotels in that span. As far as the quality of the hotel, I'd say this one was dead-solid average but it was oddly one of the pricier hotels we stayed at. For some reason, hotels in North Platte, NE, (not a particularly interesting town) are quite pricey... at least when we stayed there. This was one of the few hotels in North Platte with decent ratings, so we reluctantly booked it. I was hoping there was something special about it for the price but there wasn't. It's decidedly average. Certainly nothing wrong with it, but nothing special either. Just very average and not a particularly good value for the price. Having said all that, staff was friendly and rooms were nice and clean with all the usual amenities. The room was fine, just a bit pricey for what you get.

Accomodated the 5 people in my party well. 3 adults and 2 children. Loved the beer, wine and appetizers from 5-7 pm. And free! How wonderful. Will be staying there again for a night in one week. Happens to be a halfway meeting place for family.

    « Very nice »

We stayed here for one night while on a road trip. The staff was very nice and ready to help. The breakfast staff went out of their way to make sure you had everything you wanted. Breakfast selections were above average and there was also a wine and appetizer selection the night we checked in. The room was nice and the beds comfortable. The only issue we had was the shower curtain was too short so water escaped no matter what we did. It would run under the bathroom door and make a puddle. We were able to solve the problem by shoving a towel up against the door on the floor to catch the water. Overall, a very nice experience.

    « Family vacation trip »

Our family was passing though North Platte on our way to the Rapid City South Dakota area and the Best Western Plus was a great stopping point. We were traveling with a family group of 9 hand had both a suite and a standard room. The hotel was very clean, the staff was responsive and professional. The breakfast selection was great and temperature appropriate. Conveniently located off the interstate and plenty of restaurant options for dinner within close proximity.

    « Overpriced and disappointed »

As a Rewards member this is the worst Best Western I've seen. The hallways and doors had paint scraped off apparently by the staff pushing laundry tubs against them. The staff were yelling at each other in the halls @ 7 am "Wanna go to Walmart on Break? " King bed was jammed into a small room. Breakfast room was dirty. Staff brought out a bowl from the kitchen of scrambled eggs to refill the dish, but they were cold. She said she only had half an hour before she could leave. We couldn't get out of there fast enough either. The price was very high also.

Passed through for a night. Great room - got a free upgrade upon arrival. Excellent customer service from the moment i booked the room obmver the phone to the moment we checked out. Hot breakfast in the morning. Newer hotel, very clean and 24 hour pool was a plus for the kids.

    « NASTY ROOM. »

The room in the motel is very nasty . The bed sheet were nasty and had to be changed at 9:45 at night before i could even go to bed. The floors had not been vacuumed in who knows how long, when i walked across the carpet in my socks they were black. The bathroom floor had not been cleaned in who knows how long, there were bugs in the corners, and a plastic cup under the cabinet from a previous persons stay. the room had not been dusted in several days. There was a tube of chap stick between the bed and night stand from a previous person and something spilled down the side of the night stand that had not been wiped off. all the mirrors in the room were dusty and streaked.

We were upgraded to one of the new suites that they have with a 1 king bed and 1 queen. The room was spacious and the beds were comfortable. There wasn't noise so we were able to sleep well. It was clean and the staff were friendly. They offered free internet, a wonderful free breakfast and comfort.

We have been unimpressed with Best Westerns in the past as they appear stuck in the 90s but this newer Best Western Plus was way better than we expected. Bright, modern, and clean in and out. Managers reception in the evening with free food/drinks. Great little pool and comfortable rooms. Overall it was a great experience.

    « Comfortable »

We stayed one night just passing through. While the rooms were clean and comfortable, the hallways looked as though they hadn't been vacuumed. The breakfast was good and the attendants cheerful and helpful. The bottom sheets felt very old, thin, rough and worn.

    « Over night stay »

Check in was good. Staff very friendly and helpful. The room on the other hand was uncomfortable, the bed wasn't comfortable, the air conditioning didn't work very well over night. I wouldn't stay here again, j would rather drive further for a better value.

People at the desk were incredibly kind and went out of their way to accommodate our famiy of 5. We arrived late and mentioned we wanted to order pizza - the man at the desk wrote down the number to a couple of places for us. Our room was clean and huge. Our 3 young children were SO excited to have space to run and get out some energy. Especially our 8 month old - this is the only place on our trip that I felt comfortable enough to put him on the floor tol crawl. Great experience!!

« Horrible Pillows, But Otherwise Okay »

This looks to be a new hotel. There's a lovely lobby with modern furnishings and a wall-size fountain. The receptionist wasn't the friendliest in the world and didn't instruct me which elevator to take (there are two elevators on opposite sides of the building which would have been nice to know since I took the wrong one), but check-in was otherwise uneventful. My room was clean, but HOT when I entered (I guess that's the green thing to do these days.) Sleep-wise, I wasn't impressed: the mattress was hard and the pillows were horrible....the cheapest fiberfill imaginable. My neck ached by the end of two nights. What the room did have, which I greatly appreciated, were lots of easy to access plug-ins to charge computers and cell phones. Breakfast was pretty good for a chain hotel in this price range: cereal, scrambled eggs, bacon, waffles, fresh fruit. No complaints there. There's also a pool, workout room, and small store where you can buy water, candy, Tylenol, etc. The hotel is conveniently located right off the interstate near a lot of chain restaurants, fast food places, and a Walmart. Overall, the hotel was much nicer than I expected for the price I paid, but the hard mattress and terrible pillows might keep me from coming back.

« Not bad. Nothing too good either. »

Well, it's relatively clean. Some foreign hair in the bathroom but that's about it. Beds are rock hard. Rooms are average size. Parking can suck if it's close to full. Overpriced for what it is. And because TripAdvisor says I have to add more characters, I'm writing this sentence for no reason.

This hotel was right off of I80. Very easy to find. It had nice rooms for a great price. The hotel seems to be rather new - about a year old. Our suite had 2 queens and sofa sleeper making it perfect for our family of 6. Breakfast was on par with other free breakfasts - good enough to get your day going and on your way.

    « It's Like a Marriott in Quality »

This Best Western is like a Marriott in quality. The lobby and one section of it is quite new while the rest is a makeover of a previous hotel. Everything was in order. This location was not yet on the search engines so it was hard to find and had to call another Best Western for the phone number and directions. The staff was very helpful. The morning we were there, this hotel was going through an internal inspection by Best Western corporate. Recommended.

My wife and I stayed here for one evening and had a very pleasant evening. The hotel is very nice, clean and comfortable. Rooms had all the amenities we look for in a room and very spacious. The hotel is close to several eating establishments. The breakfast buffet was very well stocked with both hot and cold food and spacious area. They had an elevator which us old folks like. Our room also had a balcony, which we did not use because of the cold weather. We did not use the pool area, but looked nice. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Had to make a last minute trip to North Platte to visit my father-in-law. Decided to use Hotwire as the rooms were a bit cheaper going that route. The winning motel was the Best Western Plus and I am so glad that we had the opportunity to stay here. This Best Western was comfortable, very clean, TV channels were plentiful, had a small fridge to keep our water cold and the breakfast lineup was really nice. « The remodeling of this motel was well done. »

This motel has been remodeled of late and for the most part it was well done. The carpeting in our room was a bit tired. The room size was on the small size including the bathroom. « A bit overpriced »

While moving cross country I stopped here for the evening. I checked in at around 0130. I was greeted by a gentlemen who checked me in to a room. The room was alright, but had some flaws. The faucet wasn't secured, and there were stains on the floor of the bathroom. I normally don't care about these, but at $93 a night (about $15 less than what I paid in Vegas the night before at a competing chain) I would've expected a little more quality. The redeeming quality is the comfort of the bed, free wifi, and an awesome selection of tv channels.

« Pretty New, but housekeeping is suspect... »

This Best Western is about one year old (according to the desk person when we checked in). You can still smell the nice new carpet smell. Room was fine, beds were ] comfortable, the shower was nice. The breakfast is wonderful with scrambled eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, waffles, rolls, cereal, juices, etc. The breakfast attendant was friendly. The pool area is nice -- open 24 hours -- and the hot tub is wonderful: good temperature, and forceful jets. The air handling equipment is super loud in the pool area, so you can't hold a conversation, but the great hot tub makes up for that. My only problem is I don't think the room was completely cleaned before we checked in. The beds were made, but the bathroom had used soap and shampoo in the shower area, and the tub was still wet from whoever took a shower in there earlier in the day. New soaps and shampoo bottles were placed on the bathroom vanity. So, clearly a housekeeping person was in the room -- they just didn't finish their job. We arrived so late, and the beds seemed clean, we didn't complain, and just went to sleep.

« Nice, but bit disappointed »

Beautiful, new hotel with very friendly staff. Great beds helped give restful sleep. However, bit disappointed that the bathroom tub and floor were sticky & dirty and heavy dust on lamps near beds. I would have shared this information with staff but they never asked how the room or stay was. They need to list how to tap into TV pay-per-view in the notebook with amenities located in each of the rooms or with sign near the TV. I called the desk and told it was not available there but found out the next morning they do offer it. l was also disappointed that there was no evening reception with snacks of drinks. I understand they were waiting on liquor license, but wish they would have offered snacks and nonalcoholic drinks. The morning breakfast is filled with lots or choices and tasted yummy! Hotel is worth the price, just needs a few corrections and training updates with staff. Will definitely stay there again.

« LOUD hotel. DECENT breakfast. »

This is your run-of-the-mill off the highway affair, so let me get to the distinctiveness of this spot. FIRST. The pro is that the breakfast is mad+decent, and they stay open later than the 10:00 end time (I've been to places where at 10:01, everything is taken back). But the CON is that this is a banquet place, meaning its LOUD. I believe there were several weddings happening the night I stayed there, meaning I heard open-bar-infused conversations well into the night. My advice? Stay far away from the conference room area, but come for breakfast!

« water leaking from room above »

When I went to take a shower in the morning, the shower in the room above was running and water was leaking rapidly from the ceiling. When I reported it to the front desk there was no concern for my experience. No apology, no offer for a different room if we weren't ready to go. Poorly trained person at the front desk.

« Out of controll madness »

We were given a room on the ground floor by random and it seemed to be perfect until we brought in our luggage. The whole lobby was full of food and people and the conference room was gearing up for the night. From 4pm til 1am people of all ages were RUNNING up and down the hall in front of our room talking loud or yelling .The later it got the drunker they got and there was no respect for other patrons staying here.I am all for a good time and this hotel had plenty of meeting areas for this behavior as well as a convention room. so there were no excuses. The management should have taken responsibility and kept order in my opinion.I have stayed with BW many times and this was a total fail in what I expect from them.If they host conventions then the convention goers need to use the public spaces provided to party and allow others to enjoy their quiet night out too.I also think the public areas should be for everyone and not filled up with food for a convention for a private party. Also why didn't the convention goers get put in the same block of rooms. We were placed in the middle of the madness which made for a stressful night to say the least

We enjoyed staying at this hotel with a large pool. The room was large and it had very comfortable beds. The internet was quick and easy to access. The price was consistent with other hotels in the area. I recommend this hotel to any traveler.

We were over-whelmed with how wonderful this hotel is! The beds were absolutely the best we have ever slept in, and the breakfast was fantastic! Everyone was so very pleasant and cheerful; which made this a wonderful experience. Thank you to all..... we will definitely make this location our favorite and let others know too.

My Husband & I arrived here late on a Sunday night & stayed here for just an overnight to sleep on our long trip out west The hotel seemed nice, cozy & fairly new or updated On our way to our room in another wing , upper level of the hotel We noticed the humid temperature change .. much different from the air conditioned main lobby area When entering our room .. it had not been cleaned .. lights on .. towels & bedding tossed about We tried to call the front desk from our cell phone to advise them but no answer I myself went down to straighten it out while my Husband waited up in the far wing with all of our luggage ( all camping equipment & luggage for two weeks we didn't want to leave in the truck bed overnight nor haul it all down to the front desk again) The front desk clerk set us up with another room - I also questioned why that entire wing including the elevator was so humid & clearly not air conditioned ... his reply was there's a storm coming in !! But the main lobby was cool & air conditioned ! We entered the new room, situated out luggage Removed our shoes to realize the entire carpet from the door to our bed in front of the bathroom was soaked ?!!! We called the front desk again to advise them of the situation Not wanting to pack up & move everything again we decided to stay in this room Strange happenings for a hotel that looked very nice We've had good luck in the past with best western & we are rewards members But this one ... not sure the cause of those events ? We will continue to stay in best western hotels .. except that one.

    « Paper thin walls »

Stopped here late on my way out west. I was tired and need a place to crash. It's super clean and the staff was friendly. The walls were so thin!! When the room next to me had their tv on it sounded like it was in my room! I just wanted to sleep. They had their tv on late and early. It wasn't even that loud, I could hear every move they made. If you're a light sleeper go to another hotel.... There are plenty in the area.

    « Spacious but.... »

We picked this hotel based on reviews and we are a little puzzled. We were moving cross country and needed a place to crash after driving as much as we could. I called to reserve a room and was given a price and description of the room. We checked in and noticed the room was quite large. It was the king/queen suite. We placed our luggage down, weary from our travels, then we noticed the beds looked like they were slept in. The sheets were halfway out. Then we noticed a giant spider in the bathroom. I promptly asked for another room and was given one next to it. This room had an unfolded sheet in the closet floor and a coffee (blood) stain on the floor by the door. Okay, so third time is a charm right? We were given third room and this one was okay, and we were too tired to try anymore. I think housekeeping is just sloppy, since these sheets were not tucked in all the way. Also, there were curly hairs on the toilet seat. Oh yes, and lastly, a lot of the room doors are left open by the latch for some reason. Seemed a little strange.

We stand in this Inn over night on our trip across country. Very nice place to stay, beautiful inside nice pool and full dinning. The free breakfast in the morning is ordered by a menu card. The only problem is you can not get eggs to order.

    « Not a glowing review... »

After driving 10 hours we just wanted a nice, clean, comfortable room to relax in and get a good night's sleep. We had made a reservation a few months ago. Upon arrival the room appeared very nice. We were tired so had an early dinner and retired to bed early. At 11:16 PM the phone rings. It is the front desk asking if we are part of the Roger ***** party. No, we were not. Now wide awake, it took some time to get back to sleep. We had another long day of driving ahead of us so had already planned to get up early, shower, grab a quick bite and head out. I went to shower to find no shower curtain!!! Since we didn't have time to wait for one, we had to take a sponge bath the best we could. On the way down for breakfast we noticed a cart with dirty linens left in the hallway. Also in the hallway further down was a roll-away cot which had actually been left there from the day before. The hotel in itself is very nice, but we did not reserve a room without a shower nor did we ask for a 11:16PM wake-up call. It also appears they may have some staff issues as well since items were not put away, just left in the hall. They did comp us for part of the room, but we still went away feeling very let down considering the premium we paid for this room.

« New and very nice »

Could still smell fresh paint. I have spent $50 more a night on hotels this nice and still had to buy my breakfast! So glad I stayed at BW instead of Comfort Inn which would have cost me $15 more a night. I didn't know that if I booked it thru trip advisor that I'd would had received a gift card. Bummer Very friendly staff ... Fresh, quiet and clean. I thought beds were very comfy and slept great. Plenty of parking too. Very pleasant stay!!! I would definitely go back there.

« Better options in North Platte »

The bed was uncomfortable, the room was small and did not have a fridge or microwave. The bathroom was disappointing and not very clean. Very basic for the price. The staff was pleasant and courteous.

    « Convenient and clean »

We were barely in our room, so I can't speak for the entirety of the hotel. The lobby and reception were clean and updated. The desk staff was very pleasant and our check in was quick. The hotel appears to have a new section and an older section. Our room was in the older section. It was clean and of adequate size. The room has TWO sinks ? one in the shower/toilet area and one outside the area. Great for a family or small party to get ready easily. One of my most common comments is whether the air conditioner works well and / or is easily adjusted. Well, this room had the wall thermostat but the old ?window? a/c unit. We adjusted the a/c before leaving for the evening with the intention the room would be chilled by the time we got back. Unfortunately, the room was not cooler. We then adjusted the temperature and the fan setting. I slept closest to the a/c unit and was actually cold. So, the unit chilled the space immediately in front of it but not the whole room. Breakfast is served in the lobby. We left before it was open, so no comment other than I would have loved a cup of fresh coffee before leaving! In all, this is a great, reasonably priced, easy access stop on the I-80 corridor.

« Good stop across country »

Stayed here on the drive across country. Conveniently located near the freeway. Room was small but comfortable. Military rate was great. Pet fee was higher than other hotels. I would stay there again.

« clean room very nice stay!! »

the hotel is on the quieter side of town. dining options are across the highway. spacious lobby, small exercise room. adequate breakfast. Very clean rooms. I'm not a fan of low flow showers but everyone is doing that these days. Nicely appointed rooms. Love the train pic on the wall.

« Disappointing for the price »

Stopped here for one night while traveling from Chicago to Boulder. We were simply looking for a safe, good night sleep with a clean bathroom. For $140 on hotels.com we also expected internet and assumed a working TV. On the positive side, the parking lot did have good lighting and the beds were comfortable. On the night we stayed the cable TV and internet were not working. Although this was an annoyance, we would have given management a pass except the toilet leaked water on the bathroom floor and had a strange pink ring. At the price point of $140, these three strikes (no working internet, no working TV and leaky unclean toilet) were unacceptable in my view. Breakfast did not improve my opinion of our stay when the eggs and biscuits were cold. There are better options at better prices for staying in North Platte

    « 90 day stay...July-Oct. »

We travel with my husbands work and we average a 90 day stay in each town we go too. This hotel is gorgeous. I believe it was recently refurbished. The rooms are newly remodeled and the lobby area is beyond beautiful. Housekeeping is up to par, I've seen one girl work extended hours just to make sure the guests are in clean rooms each day. I believe she is the supervisor of Housekeeping. Been here a month now, and have seen a lot of behind the scenes. They go above and beyond to make you comfortable. Front desk staff is very friendly and accommodating. Helpful with needs regarding business faxing, sightseeing, local eateries, and directions to outlying areas. I give this hotel a 5 star rating with a 3 star pricing. We've enjoyed their hospitality and plan to seek out a Best Western Plus in the next town/state we are assigned.

« An Average Choice for a Hotel. »

We stopped here for the night in the middle of a four day road trip. We didn't arrive until about 10:00 p.m. and after dropping our luggage in the room, went looking for snacks and drinks. We could only find a soda machine. Off the lobby was an alcove with a window to the lobby desk area. They had a few shelves with an assortment of snacks and a refridgerator with drinks. The items that we selected were rather pricey so I have to assume the same applied to most all of what was available. The room was quite average but was clean and comfortable. The Continental breakfast had a good selection and the food tasted good.

« Looks nice, but not as great as it looks »

We had to get 3 different set of key cards before we could get into our room because the first 2 would not work. On the 3rd set the front desk guy said these should work, the last set was broke. So, why give them to us in the first place?! Our room was on the 4th floor so it wasn't like we could just walk down the hallway to the front desk. Our A/C unit was so loud that we finally shut it off at 1 am because no one could sleep, and then everyone was getting too warm. We decided to not leave as early to head for home because everyone was too tired from not sleeping in the loud/warm room, so we tried to sleep for an extra hour. But, then we were awakened by a barking dog in the hallway before 7 am! Facility looks nice, but definitely not worth the $160. Other family had issue with their rooms not being cleaned, staff did not really seem to care about issues. Pretty much just said oh, ok. Breakfast was ok, but could only use 1 waffle maker at a time bc it would trip a breaker. Really? Fix it, you know it's a problem and you have hundreds of guests every day for breakfast.

    « Very disappointed »

We are traveling from California to Illinois and decided to try Best Western's. The first couple we tried were great properties. when looking to stop in North Platte we had a few options and the best Western was $170 a night but it looked really nice so I thought why not. The rooms are bigger and we are traveling with 3 teenagers. When I checked in and went to room both beds were unmade and a can of air freshener was on floor. After going back front desk said that was 4th time it had happened that day. So we were given another room which upon first inspection looked clean. But soon realized there was only a 1/4 roll of toilet paper and no bedding for sofa. After asking for these things (10:30 at night) it took awhile(about 45 min) to get them and we were needing to get to sleep as we still have a 12 hour drive tomorrow. This is a beautiful property with alot of potential but seems it is not managed right. I felt like front desk staff were bothered by our request for things that should be already been supplied. Breakfast was good, lots of choices. I really feel this could be a great property with better management. I felt like a burden to the staff of 2 at front desk and I was only asking for things that should be already been supplied. When checking out the ladies at front desk were very apologetic and sweet and adjusted my room price.

We checked in and got to our room to find dirty wet towels on back of bathroom door. Couldn't get on Internet, guy who came to get wet towels got us online. They were taken over by Best Western but are still on Ramada system. There was "No do not disturb" sign, kids were running up and down hallways till after 11 pm. Bill says ramada not best western. No hot water in shower, had to turn it all the way and it only got warm

    « Oops - Big mistake »

I am not a big fan of Best Westerns, but since this was a Plus, I had hope. There was someone else`s underwear in the corner of our room. The sink was dirty, stains on the comforter - clearly someone didn't clean the room thoroughly. The sheets were stiff and starchy.

    « Very good choice »

The rooms were clean, and employees were friendly. The pool was the most crowded thing I have ever scene, but it was a Friday night in NP. The following nights were much less crowdedicated. Definitely where we will stay again in NP.

« Comfortable and well organized »

Stayed here twice during a road trip to and from Omaha. The staff was efficient and friendly on both visits. Breakfast is only available until 930 instead of 10 like most BWs I've stayed at. We arrived after midnight on our first stay but still had a quick and efficient check in. Missed breakfast that time but we were impressed with it on our second stay. Well organized and constantly refilled, the breakfast offerings were standard for BW but very well done. Comfortable beds in both rooms and nice showers, too. This property is sandwiched between car dealerships and you can access the parking lot through either. The hotel is convenient for local attractions, too. If you are travelling with train enthusiasts, make time to visit the rail yard where you can watch the biggest train depot in the US at work from the Golden Spike tower. If your party includes little kids, try to make time to visit Cody Park for rides and cheap ice cream cones. We stayed at 3 different BWs on this road trip and North Platte was my favorite.

    « Clean and Modern »

Our room was clean and modern; however we had a couple of issues. It was raining hard the night we arrived and our window was leaking. We chose to stay in the room but wished we had moved as it was very damp in our room. When we showered in the morning we ended up with a lake in the bathroom no matter how we adjusted the shower curtain. We talked to the front desk about both issues plus the fact that our bill was slightly higher than the amount confirmed on-line. They adjusted our bill without a question to accommodate for all the issues. Breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

« Adequate Best Western Hotel »

We arrived late to the hotel and when we went in check-in for our rooms there was not a clerk on duty. We waited at least 10 minutes to check in as the clerk was helping someone with their television. Both our rooms did not have a television that worked. According to the clerk on duty this happens quite a lot. They were nice to give a a discount on our rooms because of lack of television. The hotel is right off of Interste 80. They do serve a continiental breakfast which is nice. They have the typical offerings of bacon and scrambled eggs and self-serve waffles. The rooms are small and adequate. They did seem to be upgraded. They definitely need more staff in order to maintain check-ins efficiently.

« Clean, Quiet and comfortable »

The hotel staff made sure we received a very quiet room as we were traveling very late at night. The hotel is clean and the beds were amazing. The lay out of the hotel is very pleasant and private. Easy in and out. Nicely priced not too terribly expensive.

    4
    « Very accommodating! »

I'll start off with the good since there was a lot more of that bad. Check in and check out went great with cheery nice people behind the desk. You would be amazed at how many hotels fail at just that! Loved the room! 2 comfortable queen beds and a very quiet room with good-working A/C. I think the best thing was that there was an extra sink outside of the bathroom. Perfect when there are 2 women getting ready in the morning! Breakfast was typical self service. I'd had better and worse. It's free and 1 less meal having to eat out. The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was because the bathroom floor looked like it hadn't been mopped. Something spilled or urine close to the toilet?? Checked in too late to complain. Normally I would have and probably would have still had I not been happy with everything else. Just goes to show you the difference good customer service can do! We'd stay again.

    « Good stop »

Nice place to stop while driving cross country. Impressed by the lobby and they were dog friendly. Very comfortable beds. Clean hot tub and pool. Wouldn't have minded a little more grass to walk the dogs, but that was minor. The area around the hotel wasn't anything special, but that also was not important. We enjoyed our stay.

« North Platte has a new Best Western »

We tried to stay here last November but they were still under construction. We booked this for the July 4th holiday weekend and it's a newer hotel, so we were satisfied with most everything. The exception is that the breakfast area setup and layout needs to be improved. Because everything except coffee is all in one long, straight line, we waited about 15 minutes to get breakfast (not even for a waffle, only for eggs and toast). Because there was only one waffle machine, to move forward in the line, everyone was forced to wait for each guest to make a waffle! We''ve never seen this type of situation at another Best Western, even at peak breakfast times on busy weekends. SUGGESTION: The waffle machine needs to be in another area to allow guests to access the rest of the food without waiting for others to make waffles. The hotel was full; apparently there was a wedding and there were two booth tables that stayed the entire breakfast time (in a group). This caused some families to sit at the bar, and the line for breakfast was very long (20 people) until right before the end of the scheduled breakfast time. Whoever monitors your surveys and TripAdvisor, please change the layout so you don't have people waiting in line when the hotel is full as it was for us on July 2-3, 2016. I hope this is helpful. Thanks.

« clean, modern, fantastic hotel experience for our family »

this is a wonderful modern hotel right off the interstate in North Platte. Our family of 4 stayed here one night in the middle of a cross country road trip. We were very happy with this hotel. Our room (and the hotel in general) was very clean and spacious. We liked the fact that regular room options included a king / queen combo. It isn't often that we find a room layout giving us 2 beds including a king, without having to pay for a "suite upgrade". The room also included a mini fridge and microwave. The pool & fitness room is open 24 hours a day which is plus when you have a later evening arrival. The morning breakfast was adequate with enough variety to please everyone: eggs, meat, waffles, yogurt & granola, cereal, fruit, etc. North Platte is a common overnight point for us when we travel, and this will now be our "go-to" hotel in the area.

    « D & G »

Stayed here for two nights, room is spacious, clean. Ref, and micro worked well, bed was comfortable. Bathroom was small, but OK, could have had more hot water for the shower in the morning. But both nights were sold out and that may have been the issue. Breakfast was very good and choices and selection were good. Would stay again if in the area again.

« clean and modern but overpriced »

Stayed in a "suite" with a queen bed, a king bed, and a couch. Room was clean and appeared to be quite new. They take dogs, but charge an extra $30 and the room was not cheap to begin with. Apparently, this used to be a Ramada property, but they added a new section and became a Best Western. We made a last minute reservation. It stormed that night--we were on the second floor and the a/c unit loudly vibrated all night--my husband had to put something heavy on it to somewhat quiet the noise. Breakfast room is nice. Our shower head was too high to reach to adjust (You need to be over 6 feet to reach it). The faucet in the bathroom ran too close to the basin.

    « Modern, clean, comfortable »

Our family stayed 1 night on our way to Colorado. Very nice hotel. Modern, clean. Rooms were decent sized and we appreciated the 2 queen beds instead of doubles offered at many hotels. The beds were extra comfy memory foam, I wanted to take it home with me! Free breakfast was typical but good...scrambled eggs, bacon, make your own waffles etc. Didn't use the pool area but it looked fine. Front desk person was friendly at check in. All in all it is a nice, newer, comfortable hotel and I would stay there again.

Busy weekend in the area so prices were higher than normal. Nebraskaland days, reunions, and weddings. First room was still in process of being cleaned, so we had to wait for another. Woken up by drunk ppl yelling around 4 am. Otherwise clean and updated. Good breakfast in the morning.

Internet was terrible, very small bathroom.Room was way down side of hotel, had to walk a long ways to lobby to get cart, then a quarter of the way back down hall to room, pushing cart full of suitcases. Felt because we had a pet we were being punished. I stayed calm and just got up the next morning and checked out, didn't even take time for breakfast, went to Dunkin Donuts.

    « Very good but... »

Very nice property, good location (quiet enough to open window most of night), great pool, satisfying breakfast. Joanne in dining area was so friendly and helpful. Only downside, check in team was 'putting up' with us. One gentleman, who did actual check in was sort of friendly, the other gentleman was gruff. I always consider these people to be the face of the hotel I'm visiting and expect good, if not great, customer interaction and support. Room are comfortable and freshly painted. Pillows are horrible! Brick-like, bring you're own if you can!

A very nice hotel with nice décor and clean rooms. Enjoyed the great Jacuzzi after a long days drive. Disappointed with the breakfast as many items they were out of by 7:30 am. The girl attendant said they had a busy weekend and did order enough. We were there on a Tue morning. Overall it was a nice stay and will return as we travel thru that area a couple times a year.

« Decent Price, Nice Property, So-so Breakfast and Internet »

This was our first stop on a three week trip, that would eventually include 5 BW properties. Like the others, this one has a so-so 'free' breakfast, and slow internet. The price was reasonable for a late spring, early summer trip, and was very typical of BW properties.

The room and public areas were all clean and met our needs but the incredibly loud bathroom and room ventilation fans were really distracting. The breakfast was the usual plentiful Best Western breakfast but the scrambled eggs were not hot - barely warm. On the whole, we would return and were gratified by the manager's response to our Best Western review.

« BEST HOTEL IN NORTH PLATTE »

This new hotel has it all and then some. Where do I begin? The spacious and extremely clean rooms with the most comfortable beds I have ever slept on in a hotel. Free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel, including your room. The hotel is equipped with a swimming pool and hot tub and state of the art exercise room that is open 24 hours. The hot breakfast served every morning is far better than eating at the dives that the city has to offer. Eggs and bacon or sausage patties are served every day without fail. If that is not enough there is biscuits and gravy and a waffle maker. For the health nuts like my wife they have oatmeal with a topping bar for your oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs and fresh fruit. All you could ask fro a complimentary breakfast and then some. Included are all the breakfast juices one could ask for. If this is not enough, the BEST feature of this hotel is the exceptionally friendly staff. From the breakfast servers, to the front desk personnel and the room cleaners, They are all friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. The one thing that put our entire stay was the General Manager was out in the mornings asking and making sure that everyone was taken care of at breakfast. There is no other option for me that I would remotely recommend in North Platte as I have stayed in 8 hotels in this city and i will NEVER stay anywhere but the Best Western from now on!

    « Lie! »

The sign says Best Western. All the towels are marked with their label, the wi-fi is from them, but the staff will tell you they are not a Best Western. Yet. As such I couldn't use my rewards card because they are still a Ramada Inn. A cool thing they have here is the robot working the front desk when you walk in. He had to be a robot. No one is that nearly catatonic and still functional. Service wise he's not too impressive either. Came by the room cause we had a problem with the TV, asked about the wi-fi since we couldn't get into it. Gave us instructions on how to do it, but still no luck. He just shrugged and left. We had to figure it out on our own. Is this a horrid thing? No. The rooms are clean, well kept. I just picked the wrong night to be here. I showed up on the night the drunk college age kids are here. Sleep? No, it's party time. Roam the hall and be as loud as you want because you are the only people here. Complained to the night clerk, he claims he had called the cops on them twice, then why are they still there and still loud?!?!?

    « Better than home!! »

Great place. Location is right off of I-80 and US 83 with a big sign that is easy to see. Check in was a breeze and Tim was full of info. He told us places to eat and we chose Whiskey Creek about a half mile away. Great choice! The motel just had a ten million dollar renovation - everything is new and clean. Fantastic pool and fitness center and the nicest breakfast area with a great free breakfast! The beds were so comfortable and a nice size room with refrig/freezer and microwave. There was an extra counter with good lighting outside the bathroom. I loved the layout of the place, the wide staircase, the easy parking close to our room, big nice carts to load suitcases on that were easy to roll to the room, wide hallways, quiet AC/heater, quiet location, the great price, and the airy brightness of the place. One of the best places I have stayed.
