Held my business meeting here with my team. Very clean facility and were able to address any issues we had. Will definitely come back! The General manager Kristina was the best! Very communicative throughout the whole process. My team also enjoyed there stay and said they would love to come back

I really enjoyed my stay and would recommend the hotel to others. The cleaning staff are very accommodating and thorough. The people at the front desk are friendly. The breakfast is delicious. And the room came with a small private patio.

Door to the outside secure 24/7. Homeless, let all their friends in around midnight so there's a lot of noise at that time of night. if you call for assistance to the front desk, they will not answer their phone. So if you go to the front desk, you find the staff sitting in the lobby just hanging out with their friend

I came to town to go see Kevin Smith do an engagement at his theater. I decided to stay here, even though it was an 11-minute drive from the cinema, and I'm usually more of an IHG girl. I was not disappointed with my choice. The accommodations are modern and updated. The room was comfortable, clean, and spacious. The only thing I could nitpick about is the exterior door nearest my room had the locking mechanism removed, so no guest key was required to enter the building. It is pretty isolated and dark in that part of the parking lot, so that was a bit creepy. But overall, my stay was great.

Not a good experience. For almost $300 for a one-night stay, I would have expected a better room. The "barn door" on the bathroom stinks (no privacy). The room smelled bad, and the breakfast was less than mediocre. When we tried to call to let the hotel know that we'd be arriving late for check-in, nobody answered the phone (we tried 3 times).

Our experience with this hotel was just awful! Housekeeping did not clean our room, make the bed or replenish towels, washcloths and hand towels until our third day there. There wasn't a luggage rack in the room, so our suitcases were placed on the floor instead. When we asked the front desk for a luggage rack, the front desk agent told us “We will look into it.”

The room had a very odd burning chemical smell at check in. If it hadn't been so late and with two young children, I would have asked to move. We kept the balcony door open until we had to lock it to go to sleep. It was slightly better by day 2, but you could still smell it. It wasn't the air conditioner/heater either. On check out day, the maid just opened the door without knocking at 9:00am. Check out is 11am. At 10am she was outside our door listening. She then knocked to see if we were out. We were still taking trips to the car with luggage and getting the kids ready. We still had over an hour until check out time. We felt a bit stalked and uncomfortable like they wanted us out immediately. Not the best way to make guests feel welcomed. I told the front desk when I checked out (at 10:30) and he could have cared less. They need a system to notify the cleaning crew when guest have checked out other than stalking them.

We enjoyed our stay. The staff was extremely friendly, breakfast options were good, the air conditioning was quiet and consistent - didn't kick on and off, and there was room to park our truck and trailer! We'd stay again.

booked a birthday trip here for their pool for 3 days and pool was closed the entire time mid August. room smelled funky. breakfast offered was not it(make ur own waffles) and the selection for breakfast looked like it had been there a few days

I was pleasantly surprised. The hotel was spotless and quiet. The bed was extremely comfortable. The breakfast is complementary and had everything:make-your-own waffles and pancakes, bacon, sausage, cereal,yogurt, etc.

What most people don't realise is that what makes or brakes a hotel experience is the reception team. The receptionist at Middletown Hub went above and beyond in ensure that me and my partner felt welcome. Being our first time in this particular hotel, she explained the amenities and things that we can see end explore within the vicinity. When we checked out, it was early in the morning (around 5:30am). She went out of our way to make me and my partner a cup of coffee each for the road. Great service!

My wife and I enjoyed our one-night stay here. We were looking for a quiet, clean, safe room, hopefully at a reasonable price. The Hub Middleton delivered in spades! The room had a couple minor issues that the Best Western's feedback process seems very interested in understanding and correcting. It is refreshing to stay in a great room that is managed by a company that really seems to care about how its customer feels. We will return.

Chose this property for beach proximity and pool pics looked beautiful. And it was… but…IT WAS CLOSED! When questioned front desk we were told “because workers are working on it”. Then tried gas grill but it would not light yet we could smell the gas. Front desk said “there's no workers here”. Gas fire pit same, wouldn't light. Again, “there's no workers here”! Lastly, before going in for the night, we noticed that the exterior doors to hotel were unlocked so anyone could walk in without key card. We thought this was a little sketchy. What did front desk say…”they're unlocked for the workers!” Lol, WHAT WORKERS?! So basically the outside was beautiful but we didn't get to enjoy any of it. Bummer! Front desk staff useless and rude. Cleaning staff couldn't have been friendlier! Room was clean but has a very strong air freshener smell. Found deodorizer crystal packets stuffed in a/c vent. I popped them out and put them outside for the night, pooped back in when leaving. Too strong to smell all night. Mattress was very firm. Shower amazing…crazy water pressure! Breakfast…ick but we are foodies. Lastly, we had the small room with just one bed. All good but the air from a/c is right in the face of the person on that wall and vent is not adjustable. I put desk chair and a pillow in front to divert air and it was fine. For a hotel in Monmouth County @ $150 a night, we got what we paid for!

We stayed two nights at this hotel when we came up for a show at the nearby PNC Arts Center. The room was small, but very clean and modern. It was well designed so that we had plenty of room for our stuff, and had a microwave and mini fridge. There is a small private balcony for each room, which provided a nice place to sit. Unfortunately the pool was closed while we were there. Staff was helpful and knowledgeable. The breakfast bar was pretty typical, but was well tended. We would definitely return to this hotel if we're back in the area.

Had a disappointing stay! Our first room needed to be changed because our toilet was broken. We were 4 in a room and we always had to call in more towels, our room was cleaned and NO towels were given, once when we called for some we were told they were in the dryer and then had to call a second time to get some. Our shower door would not close. Walls are not sound proof and you can hear everything from rooms next door. We were not told about pool being closed until check in. We had an issue at check out and the girl at front desk told us the manager doesn't work on weekends and to call back on Monday.

This hotel is very clean, the staff is very friendly & knowledgeable. The free breakfast is very hot and has an array of items from yogurts, bagels, pastries, cereal, fruit, hot breakfast items, make your own waffles/pancakes, coffee, juice.

My review isn't about the hotel it's about the staff. First they gave us a room with with people already accupying the room. Once that situation was fixed the stay was good. Until i forgot my engagement ring and two other rings in the room. when i realized i left it i called and they claim they didn't find anything and really won't help with at all acting like o left behind a toy instead of my engagement ring. I am angry and heartbroken. I told them exactly where i left my rings.

We needed a place to stay for a family funeral and The Hub was conveniently located. The service was excellent and everyone was so kind. Best sleep of my life. Our room was clean, cozy, and had the perfect amount of storage for our stay.

We stayed at the HUB for 10 days between Christmas & the 1st week in January. we stayed in a double queen on the first floor. Room was large, clean & comfortable. Contrary to other reviews I read, the first floor was not noisy & the internet worked great! I work remotely & worked a full 40 hour week during my stay with no internet issues or interruptions. The manager, Tyler, was friendly and more than helpful with any request we had! Free breakfast was great & the entire hotel was spotless! Cannot wait to return in the summer to enjoy the outdoor amenities!

Review says it all. Nice building and staff, clean and modern. Try to avoid staying on the first floor or near the garbage pickup area, it's really noisy in the morning. There's a basketball court inexplicably near several first floor rooms as well that's close enough to make annoying noise. And a greenskeeper brought a leafblower up to my window at like 8 am. No thank you! There's bad cell reception in the area and the wifi sucked, so beware of that as well. It's probably the best option in the area, and as a place to lay your head, it's fine. But there are problems too. Definitely no luxury spa.

Lovely clean hotel. Luxurious bedding. Delicious free breakfast with nothing in short supply. Thick terry robe in bathroom was lovely after showering. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Easy check in.

My first night to check-in 10/10/2022 I was greeted by a super friendly desk clerk. Wish I had gotten his name he was awesome. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. If I ever have to travel to Middletown, NJ again I would stay at The Hub.

Fresh look of building as well as decor & furniture! I wouldve though I was in a chic hotel in NYC but with a beach twist! Loved every minute from cleanliness to staff they surpassed all! Will 100% be coming back here year to year!

Hotel was great, staff was knowledgeable & gave us many great recommendations on where to eat! Room was clean and bed was comfy! Front desk staff and house keeping are super nice. They helped me with everything and was so pleasant to deal with! Sadly we are just passing through but if we're ever in the area this is where we'll stay!

Stayed there after concert at PNC It was perfect as the room was renovated and very clean. Also convenient to the shore if you intend on spending a day at the beach after enjoying an evening at a concert. The free breakfast also had a good variety of items and was decent. All in all, a pleasant stay. We did not try the pool but looked good.

The renovation at The Hub is gorgeous. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. Pool/grill area are resort quality. Housekeeping staff keeps the entire location spotless. The meeting room was perfect for our family reunion. It was a short drive to the shore. Tyler and his staff are top of line. This location is a 10 in my book.

Great weekend trip. I went to see Incubus on 8/6 at PNC and the Hub was right near by. We got to stop at Outbacks for drinks right next door. The Hub offers free breakfast and the beds were sooooo comfortable. Tyler, the GM, even let me check out late since I was a little hungover. I will definitely be back for my next concert.

Everything was clean and tidy. A really nice outdoors around the pool including a spotless grill and seating area. A nice breakfast. Will definitely stay there again. The surrounding area was nice as well not crazy traffic and an Outback Steakhouse next door

Great weekend getaway, newly renovated with many perks! Free breakfast, cute robes & friendly staff! Beds were very comfortable as well as cleanliness being held at its highest! Highly recommend booking pool view room & or even the suite as all the rooms are spacious & well appointed!

The room was clean, beautiful, and classy. You can tell that it was newly renovated. The tile is really pretty. The bed was very comfortable and it had a cute patio outside. The breakfast was great with both hot and cold food options. It was well stocked and the dining room was clean. The staff were really helpful whenever I needed anything. They were really sensitive when there were multiple guests there to make sure that everybody got equal attention. Great stay.

Updated property. Extremely clean. Staff Excellent. Walls very thin so u can hear conversations. Breakfast very good. Also very ckean- fresh food- well attended by nice staff. Pool area also quite nice w a seating area & barbecue. Close to shore points.

Very nice location 1 mins to the bus stop to downtown 5 mins walk to the shopping mall 5 mins drive to the train station heading to NY Penn station Room and staff are great that beyond The breakfast is nice too. you can make your own waffles, Fun! Except the wifi is not very stable if you come here for business trip this may be a big concern

At the time of booking we were not made aware that the location was undergoing renovations. It made our first impression very poor. Many times in the morning we were woken up by foot steps from the roof. Our room had many issues. Our rug was a tripping hazard, our tv was grainy. The hotel entrances were not secure. Anyone could get into the hotel. Breakfast was not fully served during the hours of stated operation. If you didn't get there early enough there was hardly any selection for the rest of the breakfast period. The only plus was the comfortable beds, and the AC. Would not recommend staying here.

This is a re-model of an old Howard Johnson. The plan seems to have been ambitious, but the execution leaves opportunity for improvement. At first glance it looks lovely. The bathrobes are luxurious - really comfy to an extreme. But no good towel for shampoo, only 2 bath towels in room, no tissues for 2 days, ??? who tested this plan out? Bed is also comfy - but too close to the side wall if you want to feel like an up-scale boutique place. It doesn't work for this very experienced road warrior. Rooms have no surface to put luggage on, so bending over to the floor to get things, or lifting the luggage from floor to bed or (white!) chair becomes the norm. Some set-up at the breakfast room is awkward. Not so bad if you drink coffee, terrible if you like tea or cocoa. No bath tubs, showers only. Shower head is to high up it is impossible to adjust the water flow. Shower stall is only 27.5 inches deep, so those tall people who can reach the shower head will bang their elbows if they try to move normally.

The hub is in a great location in middletown nj close to the beach and shopping very clean rooms great staff good breakfast outback steak house swimming pool and gym worth a stay with them very happy with this lovation

stayed Friday evening and Saturday evening as part of a nearby Craft show event. Overall a good experience. Redecorated Rooms were quiet and comfortable. Only negative was the broken coffee maker at the breakfast bar.

Stayed here while visiting family in the area, and really couldn't have enjoyed my stay more. There was a small shop in the lobby with lots of snacks and drinks which really came in handy! Can't wait to visit again!

We stayed here while our son was competing at the middletown sports complex. It's close in proximity and looks like it has been recently updated however there are people who live there full time with their families, it's like low income housing of some kind, kids running through the halls and loud people in the rooms with paper thin walls. They advertise free breakfast but all they gave us was a corn muffin and a juice. Theres better locally.

I stayed at this hotel for business and had a pleasant experience. I am surprised this is a Quality Inn. It seems that they just went through renovations. Very beautiful lobby/ rooms. Clean, friendly staff and reasonable rates. Would come back!

Room is clean and very friendly to pet, staff were friendly and right next to Outback. Although we really don't like the bed it's too hard for me and my husband. We woke up with back pain and neck pain. The coffee maker inside the room needs washing. Overall the place is between average to very good.

I like this hotel a lot. They have remodelled some since I last visited. It's so quiet and clean. The staff have always been helpful in directions to places I need to get to on my visit. Because I use a cane, I asked about the availablity of a room near a door and they accomodated me with no trouble.
