Leprince Hotel Spa, BW Premier Collection

To drive to this hotel we had to go along what looked like a trams only road, but we were ok although I didn't find it easy locating the hotel reception. I had read that this hotel had some 'black' rooms which we didn't like the sound of, so I asked for a 'light' room. Very helpful Elise on reception directed me to the hotel (paid) parking and gave us a 'yellow' room which was great, very stylish and comfortable. The hotel shares a large building round a courtyard which also houses a couple of restaurants, a bar and small shops. We were very comfortable here and would certainly consider staying again when we are next in Le Mans.

This is a super hotel. We had a three night stay over New Year. The room was very comfortable, with a spacious bathroom and complimentary toiletries. You are able to control the temperature to suit which was most welcome. We had breakfast on New Years day, lots of choice and plentiful. The staff are very warm and welcoming, nothing is to much trouble for them. Excellent location and parking on site.

What a super stay! Right in the centre of town, close to the main square. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. The rooms are comfortable and well appointed with tea making. They also were happy for us to bring our small dog. We will definitely stay here on our way from UK to south west France. 8km off the A28

Le Mans was our first stop in France on the way to the Pyrenees, selected as we could visit the Le Mans 24 Hr Museum. We chose LP as it had good reviews, was in the centre of LM and had a secure car park. We enjoyed our stay there; the staff were welcoming and the breakfast selection was very good.

We stayed in a deluxe room. really good room, comfiest of beds. we prefer a ‘black' room to a yellow decor room so good to let them know if you have a preference lovely helpful staff. Secure parking at 10 euro's. We had there in room breakfast last year and it was awful we choose the buffet breakfast room this time which was much better. If in Le Mans , will definitely stay here again

We had a problem with our car and unexpectedly had to find a hotel in Le Mans. We stayed for three nights at Laprince. The Hotel is clean, quiet and very comfortable. However what I really want to praise are the staff. They were so helpful and understanding. Not only understanding that we didn't know how long we would be there but also speaking to the garage on my behalf as my French is poor and the garages English equally as bad. They made what could have been an even more stressful situation far more manageable. They were excellent.

Beautiful hotel, the rooms are very nice and clean. The staff are very friendly and professional. The breakfast was excellent. Enjoyed the stay immensely. We would highly recommend this hotel. It has great character. The is lots to enjoy beside the hotel.

This is a really lovely hotel with friendly staff. We only stayed one night and the room we stayed in had a unique style - I think all the rooms have different styles. The location next to the tram stop and Place de la Rebulique is great with plenty of restaurants nearby. It is only a 15 minute walk to the old town which is absolutely stunning. Staff in the hotel were very helpful providing maps and suggesting places to go.

Excellent location with on site parking (15 euros) in the city centre. The room was small but fine for one night. Very comfortable bed. The reception team were first class and recommended a restaurant which was close by. Would return.

Last weekend the 24 hours bike race was held in Le Mans. I therefore booked a room and invited a mate Brian from the UK, I went by van as the forecast weather was awful and Brian came by motorbike and unfortunately got VERY wet in UK and also in France. The room 109 was excellent for 2 singles the only problem was that the light was not sufficient ands we lost several items in the dark!! Service, reception, housekeeping was all top class and we were not charged for parking the motorbikes, VERY friendly staff!! Price, service, everything VERY good so an excellent stay, thanks all!!!!

LePrince did an excellent job for us & we were more than happy with every aspect of the hotel for the money. It has a good location, close to the Place Republique, & with plentiful secure on-site parking (€10 per night). The greeting could not have been more welcoming or efficient, the young lady who checked us in was absolutely superb & the reception team provided exemplary service throughout our stay. Our room was quite compact but with a pleasing modern decor. Beds were comfy, the shower had oomph & our rear facing room was quiet. Our sons room was rather dark, so if that's an issue (it would be for me), request a room with max natural light. Hot drink making facilities & a fridge were very welcome provisions for a family of serial tea drinkers, as was the reliable WiFi. The hotel is integrated into a shopping centre & has direct access into a terrific bar called Racines, in addition to an array of other buzzy bars, plus multiple good restaurants within walking distance. Don't miss a visit to the old Plantagenet part of town, it is astoundingly lovely, the cathedral, majestic & one of the largest in France. Le Mans circuit is a 20 minute drive from the hotel.

We really liked everything about the hotel. The location is right in the center of Le Mans with safe private parking right behind the hotel. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful, the design of the whole hotel end especially the rooms we really liked.

Le Mans was our first stop on a three night drive to Portugal and was also our first time travelling with our 9 year old Labrador. We needed a dog friendly hotel with easy parking and this hotel absolutely delivered. This is a modern hotel which is part of the Best Western Group (not a plus generally). The car park was spacious and secure which was great. Check in was efficient and we arrived in our spacious room to find a dog bowl waiting for us. The room itself was slightly quirkily decorated but the air conditioning worked well which was a plus as it was close to 40 degrees and the shower room was also spacious with a particularly good shower. The service was friendly and helpful. Having taken our dog out for a late night stroll I wanted a Coke Zero. The receptionist told me that dogs were not allowed in the bar but she went and got my drink and brought it back to me which was very kind. Breakfast the next morning was good and again great service. Good service, good value for money and a comfortable bed. We couldn't ask for more.

Outstanding facilities in a superb location. A design hotel in the heart of the city. Staff extremely professional willing to help the guest . Rooms are beautiful and very confortable. Simply perfect!

Chose a modern hotel to literally stay overnight before driving to Bordeaux. We had no idea we would find a real gem. Immaculate, clean, black room (!) with easy parking. Staff were the best. So friendly and helpful and speak perfect English which was a bonus after a 12 hour drive. The square just off the hotel is full of superb cafes and restaurants - all so easy. Breakfast was superb. So much more than a continental buffet, all beautifully set out . Again lovely welcoming staff. Will def return and highly highly recommend .

This was our second visit to the hotel and our third visit will be in August 2022 in two months time. The hotel is fantastically located for walking around the town and has secure car parking. The staff are super friendly and the rooms which have lovely huge comfy beds are quirkily decorated!

The hotel is modern, well positioned and has attentive staff that looked after us during our one night stay. The hotel is located a short distance away from a selection of bars, restaurants and the towns square. The rooms are very spacious and have a modern dark aesthetic. The breakfast was a very standard continental breakfast that hosted all the usual items. I would return back to Leprince Hotel-Spa albeit only for short breaks.

This is our second stay at Leprince. We will be back again for stay number 3 in 8 weeks time! Perfectly located and central to the main town / five minute walk to the old town. Great to have secure car parking on site too.

Perfectly located, clean and friendly hotel. Centred in a wonderful location surrounded by vibrant bars and resteraunts. Only disappointment was the charge for parking our motorbike - never seen this before.

Smart centrally located hotel with very helpful and very friendly staff! Easy car parking and pet friendly. Located right in the heart of Le Mans and a few steps from a good variety of restaurants and shops, with its markets and a short walk to the Old City. Spacious King suite with furnished terrace; efficient air-con and good Wi-Fi. Unfortunately there was some late night time noise during our stay. Although the breakfast was good with some excellent coffee, the scrambled egg dish was nearly empty and staff were not able to replenish it! An omelette was kindly offered but too long to wait.... Overall we enjoyed our stay!

Cancelled my reservation I made 1 year ago- said the have a large group coming and I can rent the managers home for 500 euros a night!!! So unprofessional and Best Western cannot do anything to reprimand them. LeMans is fully booked for the 24 hours- where do I stay??

Top service - top location: the best!! Very friendly and supporting people at the reception, breakfast is very good and the rooms are very nice with its air-conditioning. and the location is the vey best with great bars and restaurants at walking distance. The place to be in Le Mans!!

We just spent 1 night at Leprince Hotel. We were really waiting for this night out, 1st from beginning of the year. At arrival, you realize the hotel is fresh renovated and building is looking like really new. We have been really impressed by the quality of the realization as from outside as inside. The internal stairs are just gorgeous (They should work on the lighting to empower the impact of the stairs lightly hidden behind a windows door. They should also review their welcome desk which is definitely too small and where people are gathered. This point will be a nightmare in during the rush hour. Regarding to the room, we have been lucky to get the 213 (Chambre Executive), with a wonderful sun lightening from the windows at entrance. The room is big enough for a couple for a night, well decorated (we appreciated the black ambiance) and really comfortable. Regarding to the service, this our only deception…and from the arrival to leaving. Due to the lack of space at the check-in desk, we have been able to listen all information from the previous client who was leaving (including her personal address…), but the most disappointing is the fact that the employee (which seems to be the director) don't even wait to finish with the previous client and he starts our check-in by loudly asking our name. Honestly, when you don't have the space required and no possibility to keep information confidential…just wait and do it one by one. Another negative point, is during our checkout, when the employee told us we should pay for 2 breakfast even if only one of us take it since he asked us the day before for it…but the day before he asked us if we would take the breakfast and only my wife said yes (I never take breakfast). By the way, the breakfast charged 15€ is miserably for this price (adding some pics), you will go the same (even better) for less on an IBIS hotel. We understand times are complicated due to COVID crisis but frankly is too expensive for what they serve. Anyway, this hotel is really beautiful, the price of the room is matching the quality of the room and it was a good stop in Le Mans but the service is definitely too poor regarding to the place. Let's hope they will improve it with experience…
