Best Western Franklin Town Center Hotel & Suites

We arrived on a Thursday night & left Saturday morning. We walked into a freezing room, AC was set at 61. Then we had to ask for a shower curtain. The toilet was nasty, somebody had a blowout & they didn't clean it! Then the hand towel rod was half out of the wall & the glass shelf was hanging down out of the wall. If you tried to set something on it, down it went to the floor. Also, the shower hose was busted & was spraying out of the side of the hose. Then breakfast- the bacon was soggy from water dripping on it. The gravy had a lot of water on the top from the condensation dripping on it. There was 1 biscuit remaining & it looked undercooked. I'm pretty laid back but these are items that are paid for with your room so I expected them to be up to standard. This was a handicap room on top of it, you'd think it would have been up to par! They need new management!

I am so sad to have had such a terrible experience. There was not internet during my stay, and I guess that is pretty normal for this property. We were staying here during a baseball tournament, so we had lots of downtime but I couldn't work in between games. We also had a shower that didn't work, a tub and sink that didn't drain. The staff was nice enough but these problems are just non-negotiable things.

This hotel is always clean and quiet There are a couple of trains over night but nothing to lose sleep over There's a decent local icehouse across the street vey walkable the food is good Hotel is a good value and breakfast is simple and fresh

We were going to use our aaa membership at checkout..when we checked out she said it was too late..she had already checked us out..I told her I talked to you earlier in the morning about aaa..she said she thought I was talking about something else..she beat us out of 10 % discount..she has red hair..red complected

A friend and I stayed there- she get up early in the morning and discovered her shower was inoperative- handle is just dangling loose. And toilet wasn't flushing properly. Hotel staff said they couldn't do anything, she called the next day and manager said "She should have requrested a different room"- really, after spending the night, change rooms to take a shower? And how the heck did anyone clean that room without noticing the shower didn't work at all and the toilet didn't flush?

The room was fine except for the sink stopper in the sink not working. The breakfast was bad, no bacon, no black tea, no fruit. The eggs were inedible and the biscuits were dry No sweet pastry. Do not recall if they had fruit juice.

TERRIBLE!!! kicked us out after 1 night even though we had a 2 night reservtion spoke to manager after the fact she said i only had 1 night reservation which was wrong...........filled out a survey waiting for corporate to call and fix it!!

Nice hotel. Lobby, halls and room was clean. Breakfast options were few. But they did offer a few hot options. No real complaints on this stay. Air conditioner worked amazingly!! Overall, I have to day it was a good stay, would recommend.

We were able to be as close a possible the The Ranch baseball fields as possible. This hotel was convenient. The staff were polite and helpful. The rooms were very clean. Will stay here whenever we are in Franklin.

I am a Elite rewards member and used my points for my stay and it was not billed correct, I was over charged. The manager Brittany attempted to resolve the issue but still it was not correct even though she claims it was. When I 1st checked in they stated I was paying $104 when I got to check out they said I was paying $116 then I was charged on my bank statement for $240. I will never stay here again and recommend that no else does neither. I'll rather drive from another city into town and pay high gas prices.

If you stay on a weekend when there is baseball being played, it is very noisy. Some baseball teams do not respect other guests. The parents let the kids run up and down the hall and be disrespectful to other guests. They take large amounts of food to be funny and then dump in the garbage. They were stealing from the pantry.

The staff was incredible. The Breakfast was excellant. The room was clean and well kept. We had a civil trial to attend at the courthouse, which is just across the street from the hotle in Franklin Texas. For a small town there was also good food nearby at reasonable priices.

Work trip. Stayed at hotel. Great staff good bed and breakfast was good minus the waffle machine was broken. Very convenient to walk across the street to the icehouse and get a bite to eat or play a game of pool. Overall great trip

The staff at this location are so friendly and helpful. The site was very clean and well maintained. I've stayed twice in the last month and m planning future trips now. The Breakfast was perfect for me since I needed to grab and go each morning

The manager Britney needs to be FIRED!!!! She is the least professional manager I have ever run across. When I tried to inform her of a few problems I had while at the hotel (dead roach in room and only 2 pillows for a King size bed. I need pillows to support my back as I hurt my back in Desert Storm ) She asked me why did I stay at her hotel again.This was after the last time I reported the staff for sleeping on duty and not informing another guest upstairs that they were a nuisance and creating a noise issue. After asking the front desk staff to do this 4 times the staff still did not do this. The manager Britney said she didn't care if I reported her actions to the BestWestern Management because the hotel was privately owned by a member of the local community and they would support her. It is very hard to believe that businesses treat injured Veterans this way. Shame on the Owners and Shame on Britney!!!

There is no other choice in Franklin TX. This hotel is everything a hotel should be. I hope you get Missy at check in. She's an absolute delight. Clean, comfortable rooms with a lovely decor. Highly recommend!

If you're staying in or around Franklin, Tx, this. Best Western is the best choice. Friendly staff, affordable rates, clean rooms, and Doc's Ice House across the street. Great place to stay the night or for longer. The breakfast is excellent and the amenities include a pool and workout room.

Paying almost 200 dollars a night to have the night manager follow our kids around who was there for a baseball showcase, telling them she was going to kick them out. One of our kids had bed bugs and had a video to prove it the lady said not sure what kind of bug that is calling our kids a liar. EXCUSE ME IF THEIR ARE BUGS IN THE BED IN THE ROOM THAT IS AN ISSUE PERIOD!!!! OUR FIRST TRIP WAS AMAZING THIS ONE WAS A NIGHTMARE!!!

We had a baseball tournament in this town and stayed at the Best Western. The room was clean when we arrived, but there were zero towels. We immediately called and asked to have them and were told that we could come get them ourselves! Their excuse of course is “due to covid” they can't come to the rooms. Apparently they can come to the rooms to deliver the bill overnight though. :). We also asked for a one hour extension the next day (until noon) and were rudely told that they already had two people requesting a late check-out so they can't do anymore...hmmm. If you are wanting clean moderate hotel this will do, if you want good customer service, find another hotel.

We went for a baseball tournament in franklin. Everything was perfect and it was a great experience. We had a bunch of our kids there staying with us as well. Would never go to another hotel again when we visit franklin. Thank you for the experience

Bathroom was not clean; dirty towels on bathroom floor; no amenities; no breakfast; hard to get extra pillows and blankets for sofa bed. Night staff was rude and not helpful at all. Very disappointed.

I have to admit I wasn't overly excited about a Best Western because I usually stay in higher end properties. But I was very pleasantly surprised! The hotel was comparable to those in every category. the public spaces were modern and clean. But the guest rooms were my main concern. But I walked in and thought WOW! nice furnishings, bedding, and wonderful bathroom space. would for sure recommend and stay at this property again!

Friendly staff and clean rooms. Breakfast was actually better than expected, waffles, eggs, bacon, sausage and good coffee. Pretty nice hotel for a small town. Will be back as this place is just 5 mins from my son's house.

Staff doesn't care if their is a noise problem. Both night we stayed it was loud and sounded like a dinosaur walking about us all night. They said its just the weekend you choose to stayed here. We travel a lot and never have been treated like this.

Carly, Brittany, Ana, Shirley, Sam and Kalynn are awesome. I love these folks. They treat me and the guys like gold. This place is great and quiet. Get treated like family and stay here off the beaten path!

Hotel was nice, would stay again even though they do need new sheets they were sliding off the mattress. On Sunday the hotel was booked but they do need to be better prepared with breakfast ready for the large amount of people that were staying. But overall great hotel would stay again.!

Great rooms, easy check in, nice jacuzzi room! Was a wonderful relaxing stay. Associates are very kind and helping! It was valentines weekend and my wife and I ended up having to make a business trip and they made our valentines weekend as relaxing as possible!

I was in Franklin to do genealogy research, not knowing that Robertson County has zero genealogically significant records earlier than 1903, which was a disappointment. However, we were extremely pleased with both this hotel experience and dining experience at a nearby cafe (The Pioneer). Surprisingly great finds in what turned out to be a disappointing trip. They might not have made up for it, but they sure soothed the wounds. Thank you to both.

It's a very nice hotel. The service was great Very friendly staff. They always had a smile and greeted everyone as they came in the door. Breakfast was hot and fresh. The rooms where clean and everything in working condition. The room was a little pricey.

It's your typical hotel. The a/c didn't work too efficiently. Had a hot nights sleep. The staff was supper friendly and helpful. They made the average hotel above average. Not many choices in Franklin so I'd say this is a good solid choice.

Stayed here for almost a month while in town for work. Had large king sized room on the first floor. Ended up working nights while down and had no issues with getting rest. Service was great and accommodating to my work schedule. The folks here did great!

Stayed in town for a baseball tourney - same reason probably as all the other guests based on how many kids in uniforms we saw at the hotel. Breakfast area is small, with very little seating for everyone prepping for their early morning games. No other issues - room was clean, parking was easy, 5 minute drive to the fields was appreciated.

Clean room comfortable the bed pillows are small It is next to the train tracks. Elevator was out of order. Franklin does not have many options but this one is fine. Location is on the Main Street close to local restaurants. Five minutes from the ball fields. Nice not to have to drive two hours back to Houston

This Best Western was impressive and a surprise to find in a small town of only 2 major hotels. It was very clean, service was excellent and there were wonderful small touches such as a freshly cleaned remote in the room. I would highly recommend this hotel if you are in the Franklin, TX area.

Our room had a view of the courthouse square, all lit up for Christmas. Very cozy. The only issue I had was with the food: they had biscuits, but no gravy to go with it. At most Best Westerns, they'll offer gravy. A little disappointed, but I'd still wholeheartedly recommend this place.

Had a very nice stay while I was working in the area. Motel has just been renovated new comfortable beds. New carpet. New TV's. In room refrigerators leave a little to be desired. Great staff. What I don't like about it is this survey making me write a certain number of characters.

The staff was courteous and helpful, the rooms were very clean, and included a hot breakfast with a large variety of choices. Very good value! I've stayed in more expensive hotels that weren't near this nice!

Not only is there one great hotel in tiny (pop. 1,200) Franklin, Texas, but there are two, owned by the same man who has a high standard of expectation coupled with a big smile for everyone. He recently renovated the Best Western and it is in tip-top shape with caring employees, delicious breakfasts, a gym and a pool. Highly recommend this hotel for your next trip to Robertson County, Texas.

The hotel was clean and the staff was courteous and helpful. The location was great. The location was in an excellent spot for the event I was attending. The staff was very helpful, room was clean and everything worked.

Hotel was very nicely renovated. Rooms and bathrooms were large and spacious. Hotel is set in a quiet town with just enough eateries around for down time during my son's baseball tournament. Franklin is a very quaint and scenic town.

Staff was very cheerful and helpful. Hotel is very clean and well maintained . The beds were comfortable and the amenities were good. Over all great stay. The check in and check out process was easy and quick. We will be back for sure.

Stayed here for an overnight hunting trip. No complaints. Room was very clean, breakfast was very good. Check out was easy. Would stay here again. Little sport bar across the street I would try next time I am there.

Nice hotel located centrally located in Franklin, Texas. Good value and clean accommodations. Staff is very friendly. Nice breakfast offered. Excellent choice for families. Easy booking and competitive rates.

Whatever you do, STAY ELSEWHERE!! They never cleaned room. Checkout is 11am and they will only allow 2 people a late checkout for the whole hotel. Rooms are WORN and gross. I will never stay here again! Would rather stay in another town and drive than ever stay here again. Staff is unhelpful! Whole hotel has an awful smell. Also, if you think you'll be able to sleep...think again. There is a train right outside that runs all night blaring horn. SEVERELY OVERPRICED

Temper your high hopes of lavish accommodations. This is a very simple, very basic hotel. It is clean, the staff are very nice and the rooms have microwaves and refrigerators. Don't expect to get full off the continental breakfast it definitely left us wanting more.
