Super clean hotel. Fabulous customer service. Everyone was so nice. Rooms and pool looked brand new. Really good breakfast and close to everything. Will definitely stay here again when we come to This town.

Conveniently located, this motel exceeded my expectations. The room was big and comfortable. There was an ample breakfast in a cozy room. The entire property was nicer than the average Best Western. The only negative was that we were charged up-front when we booked and I could find nothing on the website that mentioned this.

From the time we checked in the service was great. Everything was explained to help us with our time there and they even provided us with brochures informing us of all the things the town offered. It really did help us pick places to eat and sight see. We left early during the morning of our last day and they literally had my invoice emailed to be within a few hours. Very Kind and Professional Staff. The bathroom was really quite a nice size for 2 people getting dressed, brush your teeth, makeup, etc and the shower did have alot of pressure so that was a real plus in our book.

Visited RMNP in off season so hotel was quiet. Nice big room. Solid breakfast with good food choices and drinkable hotel coffee (most hotel coffee is lousy). Good location near downtown EP and many food options. Good value but I suspect price would be higher during busy summer season. Would definitely stay there again.

In town hiking and extremely pleased with all the hotel amenities and location in a serene town. Comfy bed and bedding in a clean modern room. Excellent breakfast with a large assortment of hot food, pancakes and cereal with toppings. Well maintained hotel and management.

Great, clean hotel. The breakfast was good and had more than your usual free breakfasts. The pool was really nice and clean, but whoever picked the tile did not think about safety. We saw at least four people slip and fall. The location is perfect for visiting RMNP.

We stayed here for a week of hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park. This hotel was the perfect distance to town for dinners and to several of the entrances at the park. We had a wonderful buffet breakfast everyday. Thoroughly enjoyable!

Please consider staying at the best Western Plus, it was perfect in every way. It was quiet, it was comfortable, it had all the amenities that anyone could want, an GREAT breakfast and everything worked great, nice TV, internet. . If you're not in your own home, this is the next place you would want to be!

We spent six days hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park, and returned to the hotel each night ready for a clean room, a hot shower, and a comfortable bed. This hotel satisfied our wishes and then some. The staff did an excellent job of refreshing our room each day, and each morning the hot breakfast sent us off ready to enjoy our hiking.

The room was big, bigger than average hotel room and very clean. Breakfast has a huge selection. Front desk very helpful, has maps for the park and local brochures. Location is very easy and centrally located to lots. Price is great for the area.

Easy to find the hotel on the Big Thompson Ave. Check in was easy. Room was clean and quiet throughout our 2 night stay. Larger than the average hotel room. Close to restaurants. Only a few miles from Rocky mountain National Park. Breakfast selection was very nice. We would recommend this hotel to friends.

Helpful staff. Very clean rooms and grounds. Awesome views. Close to town but still not to close. I will definitely make this my go to lodging place from now on. Rooms are super clean and laid out well. Highly recommend!!

The room and view were exceptional. The staff were extremely helpful and very professional. Will stay here every time we come to Estes Park, CO. Highly recommend this hotel for your use. The wildlife is stunning.

We had a great stay! Room was perfect! We had a bench outside of our room to enjoy with view & weather of Estes. Bed was just right. Breakfast was great, as there was many options to choose from & the breakfast staff was very friendly and accommodating. It was easy access to downtown Estes for shopping. It is fairly close to the golf course to see the elk in the evenings. We will definitely stay here again!

I love Best Western. Rooms are always clean! No drama! Very chill ppl at the front desk! Estes Park Silver Saddle was no exception! The room was lovely with a mountain view, as requested. The front desk ppl were quiet, respectful, and efficient! The building was well maintained! Bathroom was actually pretty (but the wallpaper was loose in some places)! Room was exactly as pictured! The beds were SO comfy, and the pillows were perfectly fluffy! They have a pool and a weight room, but we didn't have time to use them. They also have free breakfast every morning...eggs, bacon, sausage, fried potatoes, cereal, yogurt, fresh fruit, you can make your own waffles and pancakes, toast your own bread, there's sweet bread and muffins, juices, coffee, cream cheese, peanut butter, even sugar free maple syrup. Only thing I wasn't excited about was that the hotel says that we have to let housekeeping have a chance to get into our room from 8am to ..maybe 11am, but we came back at 2pm and they were still in our room! We sat out in the hallway for at least 15 minutes waiting for them to finish. It's okay though, because we loved our stay and appreciate the housekeepers! Only thing I could possibly beg of this location is to please put 2 bathrooms in each room for families! It is so hard for a family of 4 to share one bathroom!

I couldn't get until 4 p.m., which to me was unusual (and annoying). Some of the front desk staff are not very friendly. At first I was a little uneasy getting a room on the lower level, with it's own exit out of the backside of the hotel, but I have to admit it was convenient to be able to park right outside my room. My room was large and had a great armchair and all the usual BW amenities (microwave, safe, mini-fridge). Good shower and bed ok. Breakfast was a little above the basic BW, and it was nice that they provided the weekly entrees. My only gripe would be too much water in the oatmeal. I only ate it once during my stay, because it was too watery. I'm not sure if this is typical, but on the weekend they had a concierge! She was very helpful.

Updated,Clean large room with nice sitting area &lots of amenities for good price, bathroom was very large .we shared with inlaws and plenty of room to move around.The Breakfast had lots of health choices .

Nice, well kept Inn. The room was large , clean & nice. There were Elk most of time I looked in the back of part of the Inn. We had been traveling for a good bit & the laundry was clean & nice. I liked that the laundry room required a room key to enter because we could leave the washer & dryer going & knew that if anyone entered they would be using their key & the hotel would have a record of their entry. I would for sure stay here if I ever get the chance to go back! :-) Staff was kind & helpful!

We always stay at this Best Western in Estes. Always clean and friendly. Very close to all that we wanted to do. We really enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of hiking! The pool was even warm this year!

Chloe checked us in. She was pleasant and efficient. The other staff we encountered were all business and not at all personable. Our king room was smallish, but fine and comfortable. Breakfast was plentiful. The breakfast room is closed off for any use such as to sit and relax, except from 6:30 am - 9:30 am for breakfast. Most mornings during breakfast hours, Susie sits in the lobby and offers information about Estes Park and the Rocky Mountain National Park.

This property was pricey, reflecting the overall cost of Estes Park in high season. We were located in an annex building, a short walk from the main building. The side of the building where our end unit room was located, was facing the mountains, but unfortunately no windows that way. The room was clean, and good toiletries were provided. The beds were adequate, although the pillows were not the most comfortable and the blankets were thin. Our room had some maintenance issues with neither A/C nor the safe functional in the beginning, but they were dealt with swiftly upon asking. The A/C unit was quiet and efficient. The fridge was located in a separate area near the bathroom, which was good as you did not hear it going on and off. The pool and hot tub were nice, and the breakfast had various hot and cold items – both of these were located in the main building. Overall no major problems in this stay.

Had 3rd floor Balcony room, Beautiful Views of ESTES, Bed was very comfortable and the room are up to date with the latest fixtures, counters, carpet and furnishings. The Breakfast offers a complete line of choices with all foods fresh or just cooked. Very Very Clean Hotel Rooms and Breakfast Bar. Definitely would stay again

I would not stay here again. I made the reservation directly with Best Western. I asked for a roll a way bed and they said there was no charge and we would receive one as long as there was one available. Once we got to the hotel, they said there was a $20 +tax charge. They said I should have booked directly with the specific hotel and I would have known there was a charge. I informed them I booked directly with Best Western (not a third party). There was an odd smell to the room. My family liked the breakfast. Very disappointed.

Clean and functional although a bit outdated. Our room was clean and had adequate space. Bed and pillows comfortable and we were able to get the temperature adjusted to comfortable level once we got the curtains pushed back from the heating/cooling outlet. Decor could use an update.

Stayed here for three nights while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park - a short 15 minute drive away. The room, with two queen beds, was very comfortable for the four us. The bathroom layout easily allowed two people to get ready at the same time, as the toilet and shower are totally separate from the sink area. The kitchenette area was very nice with a larger than usual refrigerator, Keurig, etc. The complimentary breakfast had ample hot and cold options. You could have a full hearty breakfast of bacon/sausage, eggs, oatmeal, pancakes; waffles, toast, or something as simple as yogurt, fruit, and a bagel. Housekeeping services were excellent and it was super quiet all three nights. Bonus - one morning, we got up to find a whole herd of elk - including numerous babies - grazing right outside our window and around the hotel's back parking lot. As we walked to breakfast, we saw the rest of the herd all along the roadside across from the hotel! This added a truly authentic “mountain feel” to this lovely property!

This was the worst hotel experience we have ever had. Paid for a 2-bed King suite. Arrived and it had no view (not even of a trash can or parking lot let alone the RMNP). Worst customer service! We are on a family vacation in Colorado staying in Estes Park at the Best Western. We are cherishing this time before our son returns to college. We booked a two king bed suite and on their website showed views of the park with a balcony. We walked into our room to find that it doesn't have a balcony or a mountain view. But rather a window looking at a roof complete with composite singles and a huge vents. When I went down to the lobby to ask to be moved to the room we booked and paid top $$ (most expensive room on their site) for, the young sales clerk said that the room most certainly had a balcony. Thinking I may have missed the balcony, I texted my family and they confirmed that it had no balcony and sent me a picture (see below). I showed her the picture and she then said that she could give me another room without a suite for the same price or move me to a different room that would cost me $80 more or refund me one night. Knowing that she is not the manager and not making the rules/decisions I asked to speak to her manager. Well that was a big mistake. He spoke to me like I was an idiot. Bryan said I got what I reserved. When I calmly showed him what I reserved he said no that isn't what you reserved. Am I in the twilight zone? Anyways he then said “let me show you the other rooms. Sure…so we went and looked. Neither room option was satisfactory so I said thank you for showing me, I will take the 1 night credit. He said “that is not an option.” I responded in complete shock and said “the sales associate/clerk most certainly gave me that option before I spoke with you.” He went on saying “I don't know what you are trying to pull here, but your options are to keep your room, pay more for this room or move you to a standard room with no additional charge.” Excuse me? I booked a two king size bed suite with a balcony or Mountain View and we got a roof view. I can't even see a parking lot or street. It is a roof with a rain gutter and vent. He got very condescending and I was in complete shock. I have stayed at best westerns all over the USA for both business and pleasure. I have never been dissatisfied let alone spoke to like this. It is completely false advertising! See pictures of what we selected on their website (not a 3rd party) and what we got. We are on our third leg of this trip. We stayed in Denver in a Hyatt house (recommend) and in Boulder at a Hilton (recommend highly) and now are in Estes Park at the Best Western where we selected a suite with a Mountain View or balcony (those were the only options might I add) and we got neither! The behavior of the front desk team was unbelievable. I will NEVER ever recommend this place. Stay anywhere (even in your car) but this place! Despite the window view of the rooftop, the place was old, dingy, and smelled. It was dark and gloomy. Run away unless you want Bryan to tell you "this is what you reserved!" No SIR! Nowhere on your site does it list "2-king bed suite with a 100% complete obstructed view!" False advertising, gaslighting, bate and switch, breach of contract!

This hotel was a great base for our visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. The location couldn't be beat. We had less than 10 minutes to drive to reach either entrance from the Estes Park area. Our room was very big so we had plenty of space for the four or us to spread out. The room was very clean and we had a small fridge/freezer which was great for keeping water bottles cold. The view out the back was very nice. We were able to see the mountains and they had benches at every room to sit out and watch the sunset or just look at the scenery. Breakfast was very good. We were only able to take advantage of it one day because we had an early start the other day. The hotel did provide us with a to go breakfast (granola bar, apple and bottle of water) which was nice. We did not use the pool but it looked nice. The hotel is convenient to downtown Estes Park and RMNP. The people at the front desk were very helpful upon check-in and answering any questions we had. I would recommend this hotel to anyone who wants a short drive to the park and nice place to rest after a day of exploring RMNP.

I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the door the day we arrived - the room was huge! Everything was spotless as well, and the water pressure was fantastic. There is a separate sitting area, a desk, large TV, two tables for bags/suitcases, a closet, a minibar type area with sink/fridge + freezer, microwave, Keurig, and cabinets. My 6yo twins and I enjoyed the hot tub and pool each night. And breakfast? Holy cow- the room was huge with plenty of seating, and there was an assortment of hot foods, including pancake and waffle makers, and cereals/oatmeal. It is located just minutes from downtown, and there are several restaurants nearby, so location couldn't have been better. This hotel is one of the best in which I have ever stayed!

This is a nice and up to date property but the staff needs better training. We stayed three nights and at 8:30am on the morning of our check out, more than two hours before the posted check out time, a man on the housekeeping staff opened our room without knocking and without announcing himself. This is unacceptable at any hotel but especially at a flag hotel like this. I informed the front desk agent about this issue during checkout but he could not have cared less. All he could muster was “They aren't supposed to do that.” There are too many better options in Estes Park. We will stay elsewhere next time.

The lady at the front desk on the way out of breakfast was extremely helpful with the park. The breakfast was great! The room was really comfortable, quiet, and clean. The hotel was easy to find and get to, and well positioned for the park!

Would use this facility again. Breakfast was very good. Location was convenient. Our room was clean. Need to include media service like Netflix. Add additional lighting in hallways. Pool temperature could be warmer.

Clean and comfortable. Great mountain views from all directions. Breakfast was delicious with friendly staff. The mini fridge in the room had a separate freezer which was great for freezing ice packs. The one thing we weren't expecting was to be in a separate building from the rest of the hotel. This building did not have elevator access which made unloading a full vehicle a bit tiring. Toiletries were also very small so grab more from the maid cart or bring your own.

It is conveniently located. Staff was nice. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise. Room was comfortable. An elk even showed up in front of our room. There is a small gym which was a good surprise. We had stayed at Best Western hotels before. In Estes Park we were very pleased.

This property was one of the cleanest and nicest Best Westerns that I have stayed at. Upon arriving to our hotel, we saw a crowd outside and wandered to see what was happening. There were 2 Elk on property grazing outside of the hotel rooms.

The location was convenient to access downtown Estes. The staff provided great information on what to see. The hotel was clean and the staff were great! There was a shuttle that picked up in the parking lot which dropped off in the downtown area.

I am a weekly guest and have not had any issues so far. I have been coming here for a year. The staff is very friendly, welcoming and willing to help if needed I would recommend this hotel. The hot tub is great.

The Silver Saddle Inn was a great hotel for our wedding. They were able to accomidate us with a room block for the wedding, even though it took a few back and forth conversations to work it out with the manager. We really appriciate that they were able to put gift bags in the rooms for our guests and make them feel welcome!

This Best Western was really lovely to work with in Estes Park for a room block for our wedding in early Oct 2022. They offered such a wonderful block price for our guests and even helped with dispersing goodie bags when they checked in. They renovated recently as well and the additions and refurbished areas were really lovely and well done! My husband and I even stayed here ourselves for the rest of the week after our wedding for some well-deserved R&R after the wedding and really enjoyed it! We'll definitely be back for other stays in Estes!

Absolutely incredible staff, room, location, amenities. Surpassed all expectations and will definitely stay here in the future. Quiet heating, ceiling fan, tub, king sized very comfortable bed and breakfast. Enjoyed this hotel very much.

We booked this hotel while on a family vacation in Colorado. The morning of our reservation, we had an emergency and had to head home (10 hours away) as our mom had unexpectedly passed away. When I contacted the hotel, they denied to refund our the cost of our stay. I then communicated with Best Western Customer service directly. They showed no compassion, empathy, or understanding at all and also denied to issue a refund. I have canceled hotels for much less and never been denied a refund. We had multiple events schedule that day, including a zipline that was "non-refundable" yet they issued an immediate refund when they learned of our circumstance. I understand they have rules to follow and that is why I did not stop payment and just covered the charge but it speaks volumes of their business practices. My family will be going back to CO to finish our vacation that ended abruptly, 1 week early. Had we have been treated better, we would have stayed at this hotel but now we will find something elsewhere. I travel for business and will not authorize my staff or myself to stay at a Best Western ever again and I encourage others to do the same.

Loved having a fireplace in our room! So cozy in the mountains. We knew when we drove up that it was an older building. However, our room had been completely redone and was clean and comfortable. Found out from front desk staff that they update something at the property every year.

This could have been one of our best stays of our trip, but sadly the staff ruined it. As we travel with 2 grown-up daughters, who don't mind to share a queen-sized mattress, we always ask for an extra blanket and sheet, so each can have her own. At check-in, we were told that this was no problem, and they would send it up to our room. Some time later, when nothing had arrived, I went to the reception again. The same staff member was not there anymore, but the receptionist told me that they could not supply an extra sheet, as they didn't have any on the premises, and were fully booked (note that the 'Vacancies' sign was clearly posted outside). We heard from another staff member that they had sheets, but were not allowed to give one to us by the reception. Other than that, the room was spacious and clean, the beds fine, and a good breakfast was included.

We stayed here 6 nights in late august primarily to visit the RMNP. Great stay! Though not the Ritz, it was nevertheless an excellent choice and value. It was centrally located very near the restaurants, 3 minutes to a shopping center, 5 minutes to the center of Estes Park and about 10-15 minutes to the Park entrances. The hotel was very clean, relatively modern, and the rooms were spacious and very nice. They had microwaves, a small frig, Wi-Fi and tv. Ours had a balcony facing the rear with a very nice view (we saw a group of elk!). The hotel also had ample parking, a pool, gym, soda and snack machines and had a great and fulsome complimentary breakfast . The check in staff was very helpful and friendly. Perhaps the hotel's secret sauce was Suzy — she had a table near the reception area and had all the information that you needed about the National Park — she was wonderful and sent us to places in the park that few visitors knew about. Thank you Suzy!!! Excellent hotel , staff and value — highly recommended!!!

Loved the breakfast, indoor pool, convenience to town and the rooms were clean and very comfortable! We loved the view from our room and the balcony was worth the upgrade. We will be back to stay in the future!

This hotel far exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, service, amenities, and quality of complimentary breakfast! The hotel staff were warm, welcoming and very accommodating! The room was attractive and inviting. I really liked the access to a hydration station for filling water bottles.

Treated great, felt appreciated. Room was clean and quite. The hotel was kept clean and all the staff I saw was cleaning and was very polite and smiled. The location was great, just up the hill from the busy downtown area. Only minutes from Rock Mountain National Park.

We accidentally booked our air bnb one night shorter than intended. The host recommended the Best Western and for the price we just booked it, no questions asked. I was genuinely impressed with the quality to price ratio. The breakfast was fantastic and service was mostly wonderful. Max was very helpful and nice. If we decide to stay in Estes Park again, we will definitely stay here.

Stayed at this Inn for two nights. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast area was clean and well maintained. Choices for breakfast was very good. We also use the pool which was also nice. Rooms are clean. Wifi also worked great.

Newly renovated, nice clean hotel. Very quiet and comfortable. I showed up 2 hours before check in with a migraine from driving and inquired about my room. I was initially turned away but got a call 30 minutes later that I could check in. I greatly appreciated that! The room was very spacious with a sitting area in the room and on the patio. Beautiful view from our room. Approximately 15 min drive to RMNP.

This best western has a newer section and an older sections probably based on room selections. Room is clean and Beds are comfortable. Loved the freezer/fridge and microwave. Separate tub /toilet and sink. Hot Breakfast is great with variety to choose. Attentive staff at breakfast to clean up areas.

Ever since my first stay here I have absolutely loved this place. It is so clean - the housekeeping do a great job. It's a pretty straight shot into the park (take the fall river entrance, bear lake is always backed up) Also close to Safeway and the Estes Park Mountain Shop. The microwave and fridge save you some coin on dining and give options.

The Best Western Silver Saddle offered a convenient location, an oversize room, and an excellent breakfast, all for a reasonable price. Breakfast was ready promptly at 6:30 a.m. and offered many choices. Can't overstate how much we appreciated having two chairs in our room; too often we find nowhere to sit.

Very nicely remodeled, very clean and quiet. I booked a room with a King and a lovely view from the balcony. The balcony walls are half walls, so not very private, but a hotel is not where I want to spend my time in my beautiful home-away-from-home of Estes. The bathroom was awesome. Great shower/tub, everything was very clean. No parking problems. Friendly staff. It was pricey, but I booked a little last-minute. A few minutes from everything....Lake Estes, RMNP entrance, downtown, Safeway, etc.

If you want a clean room and a place to shower and sleep then this place is what you will like. There are no bells and whistles. For the 2 nights we were here it worked. The soaps and shampoos were not the same brands. The room was weird in that there was one section with the bed, then the bathroom and kitchenette area then another section with 1 chair and a desk. Don't pay extra for a mountain view. It was a view of other places to stay located on the mountain. Not very pretty. It was also at the back of the room where there was 1 chair. If traveling with someone they can't sit back there with you.

We booked this property primarily because of the prepared breakfast. We researched other properties and found that while kitchens were available in the units, we would need to purchase and prepare breakfast. This wasn't of interest to us as we wanted to get into Rocky Mountain National Park quickly in the morning to avoid the crowds. The breakfast was wonderful! Great options and good tasting. Our room (a king suite) was one of the better rooms we have had at Best Westerns. We also had a balcony which we enjoyed after dinner watching the sunset. The bathroom was large and having 2 televisions enabled us to watch whatever we wanted after the sun went down.

Our room was in the back of the facility and was clean, quiet and comfortable. Good location only 5-minute drive to the heart of the town for dining and shopping and about 15 miles to the entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Only negative was the lack of information at check-in or posted in the room that housekeeping was provided only upon request.

We had to cancel our reservations 48 hours ahead due to a medical emergency and an ER stay. We could not continue our trip. We were told that there would be no refund. I assumed we would lose our first night but hoped for a refund for the rest of the stay. We called the hotel and were told that we would be charged for our complete stay even though the subsequent days would have been covered under their 72 hour cancellation policy. I tried to get a hold of the Best Western corporate office but have had no success.

Nice property a bit out of town on the main road - Big Thompson. Very clean room with all the usual BW amenities. We declined the first room we were given because the window opened into a hallway and we wanted fresh outdoor air. After being offered more expensive rooms, the front desk person finally found a room with an outside window at the price we had booked. Touch and go for a bit but it all worked out.

We booked a last minute trip. Very scared since we never stayed at a Best Western. This place changed our minds. The room was super nice and clean. Staff was very friendly. Breakfast was tasty and fresh. The staff was awesome.

First time staying here, would definitely return. The rooms are large with a nice balcony. The beds are large and comfortable. Very clean hotel. The breakfast was excellent with a large variety of hot and cold items.

The room was very old and dirty and the bathroom fan makes a horrible noise every time you turn on the light. The air conditioner ran all the time but the room was still very hot. Be aware that they charge you a 50 fee at check in for amenities. There are no amenities at this hotel that aren't free.

This was the perfect location to stay in Estes Park. The hotel is located very near to the city center we drive to everyday for picking up snacks/supplies, while being only 10 min from the Park entrance. The comfortable room, good amenities including a pool to relax and optimal driving distance made this a superb stay. Highly recommended!

This hotel was pleasant. It's close to all major events in Estes. We stayed in a room with a balcony facing the mountains, but didn't get to enjoy it much, our neighbors on the first floor were busy enjoying their pot stash. It would be nice if there was some food delivery nearby after long days in town. We enjoyed several local restaurants. I would also suggest a change in the breakfast menu from day to day, our 4 night stay didn't allow for any diversity in food. Hot tub was full each night and when we tried to use it in the day it was full of chemicals. I am sure this hotel is better off season.

We moved here from another hotel in Estes Park because we decided to stay in town another night. When we went to our room, we saw that the entire wing of the hotel was handicapped accessible. I was really irritated since we didn't need an accessible room and the ones we've stayed in before never seemed to be clean at all. HOW WRONG I WAS! This room was spacious, immaculately clean, and the bathroom was sparkling. Breakfast was fabulous! I highly recommend this hotel! Even though it's not right downtown, I really think that's a plus!

Room was large, updated( even had beautiful wainscoting around the ceilings) bedding, floors, furniture, bathroom were all very clean, easy access from parking, close to downtown Estes Park, excellent breakfast available. Would rate it as equal to the famous Biltmore Inn hotel in Asheville, NC!

good stay except my credit card was charged for our room immediately upon booking which has never happened in over 50 years of staying at hotels. I am always charged at check out. This is not a good policy for this hotel. We visit Estes Park Colorado a couple of times a year and will not stay here again because of this policy.

Convenient location, clean room, plentiful breakfast, quiet sleep, reliable internet. Friendly check-in and check-out. Nice sitting area to recover from a strenuous hike. Appreciated the availability of a refrigerator. Would stay here again.

Breakfast was an unexpected highlight with more options than I have seen at any hotel property. Pool was great with towels provided. Beds were comfortable and place was clean. Convenient location. We had a memorable stay all around and will visit again!

One of the best places to stay while in Estes Park. Great facility and rooms... mostly new and upgraded, very nice and clean! The staff at this location are great people and willing to help with anything we needed. This is our family's new 'go-to' place while visiting the area.

Visited Estes Park for the first time to attend a wedding. Property is walking distance to lake. Had a Mountain View room with a decent size covered patio/balcony. Rooms were recently built/renovated and spacious (2x queen). Friendly staff. Parking can be a little limited when hotel is full but wasn't a problem overall.

I attended a wedding in the area and stayed here with 2 young children. The hotel was renovated, room was very clean, and breakfast was excellent!! Try the green pepper chili. This was an excellent value. The view from room 321 was great and you will se Elk walking by daily.

This is one of the best hotels I've stayed at. Extremely clean and quiet and had an absolutely stunning view from the back patio of our hotel room. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone going to Estes Park.

We stayed in an oversized 2 queen room. It was perfect for a family of 4. The staff was very nice. The continental breakfast had so much to choose from. Hotel was very clean. Perfect location to downtown and Estes Park.

My family and I stayed here for four nights in mid-June. We have nothing but good to say about it. The room was updated and clean, the staff was friendly, the pool area was nice and clean, and the breakfast area was clean and well stocked with a good selection of foods. Plus, we absolutely loved our little balcony and the view it gave us. We sat out there nightly and fully enjoyed it. What also made this hotel special were the little extras like a ceiling fan in our room and having access to filtered water near the ice machine. We will be back; this place is exceptional. .

This establishment is better described as a resort. The rooms are immaculate, quite clean. They have real, hot brealfast. Internet is fast. Indoor pool. Location near food and shopping. Easy to get to any park entrance and very close to Lumpy Ridge and Cow Creek trails.

We arrived late at 9pm with two heavy suitcases in hand. Initial welcome was good, we informed the receptionist it was our honeymoon and asked if there was a possibility of an upgrade. We had stayed at 10 other hotels during our travels around the US prior to this which all did so including our hire car company. Our receptionist looked at his computer and then informed us we could if we paid for it. So there was a room available but wanted to charge us extra for just one night at the place. Really disappointing, as expected we declined. He then allocated us a room in a separated annex to the hotel building which we had to claim a lot of stairs with our heavy cases. He did not inform us about this and we had to drive the car far from the building to find our room. He did not offer us any assistance with our cases. Such a disappointing night. We stayed at a best western in Bozeman which offered us a free upgrade no problem with excellent service. What a difference Estes park was! I do not recommend.

Very old and dated rooms. Not impressed. Our room was in a separate, off the side behind another building. A little sketchy. Not worth the $280. Staying at a different BW last night in Colorado Springs for less money and much cleaner and new. Location was about 10-15 mins from RMNP.

The gentleman checking us in (June 8th) was a delight and very helpful. The indoor pool was the cleanest I have ever seen and I travel a lot. Breakfast was good and the room was big. We were in room 204 and had a great view.

This hotel was very clean and comfortable. The location was just outside of downtown but convenient. The breakfast room was clean and there were many hot and cold options for breakfast. The front desk staff were seemed new but fine. Susie is the welcome hostess and is full of ideas and advice on sights, restaurants and RMNP.

This hotel was one of the finest my wife and I have stayed at over the past 4 years , and we have stayed in some very nice ones. Dollar for dollar this was hard to beat. The staff was outstanding, knowledgable about the area and made some great dining choices for us. Beds were awesome and the pillow numbers were great. Perfectly located with easy access to everything in town. Not staying here would be a mistake.

This hotel is so clean and everything is brand new in the rooms. Staff are so friendly and informative about best places to eat and visit. So close to Rocky Mountain National Park and The Stanley Hotel.

Our room was a nice size with a gas fireplace, very comfortable king size bed with a table and chair The bathroom was spotless and the water pressure of shower was strong. The hot/cold buffet breakfast was excellent! So many options. Delicious scrambled eggs, green Chile sauce option, bacon, biscuits and sausage and waffles. Assorted Cereals, fruit, muffins, juices

Made the decision to stay here over the weekend and glad I did. As other posts have stated this Best Western has gone through a remodel, and I was very impressed. The whole property from the lobby, pool area, breakfast room, hotel room and property were very nice and new. My room was updated very nicely and comfortable and included all the amenities I needed. Bed was so comfortable and one thing that caught my eye was the small fridge was actually a separate freezer/ fridge so if you're staying awhile, you have room to stock up on food. The views of the mountains were fantastic and nice sidewalk in front of the property that you can get a nice walk in and admire the views. Breakfast was great with a lot of hot/cold fresh items and nicely maintained. Haven't seen this good of a breakfast buffet in a long time. Short driving distance to town and all the attractions and plenty of places to walk nearby. I recommend the trail around Estes Lake. Kudos to the great staff to.

This is the best hotel experience I have ever had. The staff was speedy, caring, and helpful! The rooms were spotless. The views were amazing. (we watched the snow fall with the mountains in the background from the comfort of our room). The front desk clerk even helped me find the best location to watch the sunset and the view was breathtaking!

The property is located near Lake Estes with excellent mountain views. Room was large with lovely decor. Pool and hot tub were comfortable. Breakfast was very good. An incredible elk herd was nearby. A wonderful restaurant was moments away.

I am not sure if this particular BW is newer, but it did seem that it was new or newly remodeled. The room was terrific, two queens - extremely CLEAN, one of the cleanest hotel rooms I have stayed in over the last many years! It was also well stocked and everything was set up conveniently. Internet worked great at all times, and the pool was kept well. The breakfast exceeded our expectations - and I think it was due to the variety and the kind staff that were present each morning. The traditional breakfast bar of waffles, bagels, toast, english muffins...but also 2-3 varieties of yogurt available (with toppings available - for waffles or yogurt), coffee, creamers, cereal, milk. apples & oranges each day (always looked fresh and tasted good), juices (via machine or in box/cup)....it was very clean and well kept. The front desk staff were very helpful. The proximity to Estes Park was perfect - you could walk if needed, we usually drove (a lot of public parking in Estes) - and the drive was very quick, AND quick drive to Rocky Mountain National Park.

We enjoyed a spring break getaway. Nice to get out and see what Estes Park has to offer. They have nice shops and many trails to hike. Enjoyed our time in mountains. You cant forget rocky mountain national park breath taking views. What a beautiful place.

This place is great. The pool area is very well cared for. The breakfast options are delicious. They had some pork with green chilis that was tasty over eggs. We enjoyed our stay and the balcony view. The only reason I gave it a 4 instead of a 5 was that there was a pair of socks left on the floor from the previous stay. They were quick to remove them while we were at dinner, so all was well!

We stayed for two nights with five kids. The hotel was VERY clean! The pool and hot tub area so we're VERY clean. We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the property. The breakfast was wonderful. There where plenty of options to please all family members.

Amazing staff, so kind and the place was so clean. Once we were in the room and settled, front desk staff called and said they were bringing extra towels for the family. It was service like this that will make us return. Totally worth the price.

Super clean! Everything looks brand new! Service was excellent! This will be the place we stay in Estes Park from now on. The room was quiet, with a very nice view overlooking the lake and the valley.

Room was great, stayed two nights, asked for garbage to be taken out and towels. No one ever came. Bedroom TV only worked with about half of all channels. Called front desk, no one ever came. I know that Covid has taken a toll on all of us, but that's not an excuse for poor service.

We had to upgrade upon check-in to larger room in order to accommodate # of children, which was odd. We stay at a lot of hotels and that's the 1st time they made a fuss about how many people the room sleeps (our kids are small), especially when the hotel was mostly unoccupied. Great central location. Close enough to hear the local elk herd bugling, and they were out! Not a ton of breakfast food options but enough to keep the kids happy. Good water pressure, lots of towels, nice pool and hot tub, recently remodeled. We had to take our own trash out a couple times due to rooms not being serviced but not a huge deal. Room upgrade was not a terrible thing but ran an extra $140 for 2 nights.

Best Western Silver Saddle was just remodeled and has brand new rooms with high quality amenities. We could not have been more pleased and surprised at the comfort, convenience and value. It is also close to everything.

Hotel was clean, rooms were nice and staff was friendly. There is a woman, Susie ,who helps with planning your outings. She was very nice to talk to and very helpful in planning our days. The only negative about this hotel was it was about 1 mile from town and if you didn't want to drive getting an Uber was impossible. Would definitely recommend this hotel especially if you like a less rustic place than some of the other options in the area.

First it's very unusual to see a hotel room with two king beds! -that caught my eye as we are a couple traveling with an adult son. So I reserved the 2 King Bed suite- Assumed two beds in one room with a separate sitting or living area —-I was pleasantly surprised to find two separate bedrooms each with a king bed & the separate sitting area! Plus a double balcony w Mountain View's Rooms were updated clean and a free hot breakfast! Good location on lake Estes & close to town( not walking)

Tim at the front desk was helpful in a proactive way, making us aware of a great upgrade and providing us information about the area. We had a great view of the Rockies and the location was just a couple of miles from the main part of Estes Park.

Booked the King Mountain View with balcony. First room they put me in had a stucco wall view so I asked to move. They accommodated me. The Mountain View is minimal. You also have a view of the parking lot, garbage cans, condos, houses, yard equipment and cars. One morning, we actually saw a small herd of elk in parking lot. Beautiful indoor pool and hot tub. However, the pool was entirely too cold the first two nights we stayed. Seemed it was warming up by third night but still too cold since they advertised heated pool. The room itself was nice and new. There is only comfortable seating for one in this room. One of us had to use the computer chair. Also, it's hard for the AC to get sleeping are cool without freezing the sitting area. Best part of this stay, is the nice lady who sits in the lobby in the morning, helping give tourist information about this area. She was great!

We first stayed at this hotel at random over a decade ago and have stayed here many times since. The hotel is incredibly clean. The rooms include fridge and microwave which saves big time and $$ compared to dining out. It is located close to the shopping and although it is on the far side from the park, we have never failed to get a parking spot up there. The staff is excellent and the breakfast is a real hot breakfast, not some tray of donuts. The recent remodel has only improved things, including the new indoor pool. Also, they have AC, which isn't essential, but many places in Estes don't. Overall a great stay and a great value.

We are Best Western rewards members and received a room upgrade. The room we were in, 221, was large and very clean. It has a balcony and a wonderful view. Breakfast was very satisfying. Hot items were prepared and served by staff (this may be a COVID adjustment). The staff were helpful and friendly.

We only stayed for two nights but it was a first class visit. The room was excellent and the breakfast was terrific. Would definitely stay here again. The staff were very helpful and a good tip about which park entrance to use was given by the check in person.

We needed an accessible room. The room was thoughtfully decorated and had everything we needed. The room was clean and my husband enjoyed the breakfast provided every morning. Elk came right into the parking lot outside our room. If we visit Estes Park again we will be happy to stay here.

Beautiful, new hotel in Estes Park—just a 3 minute drive from downtown. Clean, comfortable rooms with attentive owners and staff. Indoor pool was great fun for our grandchildren. COVID-safe breakfast served by staff was hot and tasty. Snow-covered mountains and the Big Thompson river could be seen from our patio.

The delicious breakfast and courteous staff who served it was really good at the Silver Saddle BW in Estes Park. There was an employee named "Susie" who was really helpful sharing information with us about the hiking trails located in Rocky Mountain Park. The Front Desk Manager, "Bryan" was extremely kind and patient with us. Bryan identified us as Platinum Members and gave us an up-grade without us having to even ask for it. This same Front Desk Manager Bryan calmly and politely answered our many questions. These two people, the excellent House-Keeping staff who cleaned our room each day and close proximity to the National Park are why we highly recommend and will return to the Silver Saddle Hotel in Estes Park.

Very Nice Hotel!!! New upgrades make this a marvelous place to stay while in Estes Park.. Best and cleanest hotel in town. Rooms are spotless and well maintained. We stay here every year we come to Estes (except 2020 due to covid pandemic). We consider it our Colorado home for a few days.

After researching many hotels in Estes Park, we decided to stay at the Best Western since it received good reviews and is part of a large chain of hotels. While many independently owned hotels are very nice, it can be a dicy decision in smaller places like Estes Park. We have had great experiences with most of the Best Westerns we have stayed in so when we arrived, we were not disappointed. The front desk promptly serviced us and gave us our room key. There was plenty of parking and room access was easy. They do have an indoor pool which we did not use. The room was of sufficient size, updated and very clean. Free breakfast was included in the morning and we took advantage of that each day. The breakfast selection was typical and average but enough to get you started for the day.....good but not great. The room had a small refrigerator in it so we were able to buy some food in advance that we needed to bring with us to Rocky Mountain National Park. Overall a very pleasant experience and highly recommend it.

I've been staying at the Silver Saddle the past 35 years. With upgrades happening every year, each visit is a fresh experience with up to date accommodations. The indoor pool and hot tub are beautiful. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Breakfast has an array of warm and cold options. Great location with a stunning view of the mountains.

We have stayed at many Best Westerns and this was THE best! Better breakfast than normal - 5 hot choices. Beautiful dining area. The entire facility was obviously renovated recently. Lovely! The staff were friendly and courteous. One of the best services they provide is Sue (?). the woman who provides tourists with info about the local area and Rocky Mountain National Park. She is fabulous! She is organized and so kind. She recommended the Wild Basin and the Ouzel Falls hike. Wow! It was beyond anything we could have hoped for. It made our whole trip!

Room we got are oddly setup. Got the 2 king separateroom beds with Mountain View. The living room was so oddly furnished with w single chairs, office table and chair, tv with no window. Worst room ever stayed in BWand we paid extra for that. We were about to switch but the front desk were already showing signs of unfriendly ness and were short when asking about RMNP, which is the main reason we were there.

Overall our stay was good. The room was clean and comfortable with everything in working order. The rooms looked recently remodeled. The wifi could be improved. I ended up disconnecting and just using my cellular service to get better speeds. The breakfast start time (7:00am) was a disappointment. We had reservations to be somewhere at 7:00am so were not able to have breakfast here before heading out. Given that this hotel is in a location where many people head out early, this late breakfast start time was a surprise. It would have been nice to have this noted on the website or something so that we could have been aware and planned accordingly or chosen a different hotel. We travel a lot and most places we have started have had their breakfast start around 6:00am. It is also important to know that the front desk is only staffed from 7:00am-6:00pm. You need to call and make arrangements if you are arriving after 6:00pm. This was also not noted on the website anywhere so came as a surprise.

Hotel is newly renovated with additional renovations appearing to be in process. It was well located to RMNP which is why we stayed here. Facility was clean. Room was nice. WiFi was awful. Not a huge deal in the grand scheme because we spent most of the time at the park, but is was annoying with two children with IPads that needed WiFi. I spent 40 minutes on the phone with the WiFi support without success. I know it is a first world problem but when you spend close to 300/night on a hotel, the WiFi should work. It is an expectation. We stayed 2 nights. The hotel had hot bar breakfast items served by an employee which was fine. The breakfast itself was good. However, the gentlemen was less than friendly and the first morning he served he wasn't even masked. I am sure he is vaxed, but it kind of defeats the purpose of having an employee serve the breakfast in my opinion. The second morning he was equally as unenthusiastic but he was masked. I imagine another guest said something or complained.

Newly renovated, and impeccably clean. The rooms were great, spacious, and above my expectations. Staff was friendly. Pool area and hot tub were wonderful, clean, plenty of towels provided, with large open windows for View. Hot breakfast each morning and a great location.

It appears they are in the final stages of remodeling. It was very clean, the staff was very nice and I enjoyed everything about the stay. The hotel was also very close to everything in Estes Park. If I had any complaint it was the hash browns and breakfast. I would come back to this hotel again.

Nice Best Western. Great location. The room was spotless. The breakfast was decent. It was probably better than the two stars it is rated. The Wifi worked great. The indoor pool area looked fine but we didn't use it.

Great place to stay! Nice room, with comfortable beds, clean/updated bathroom. Breakfast is included- food was good. Accessible water bottle filling station. Nice view from balcony overlooking mountains. Very short and easy drive to downtown Estes Park and RMNP.

Great front desk staff, he got us into a room early. Within minutes we stashed our stuff and were on to explore the town. The room was very clean and comfortable, beds were fantastic . Nice linens and towels. Good coffee and breakfast to get us and grandkids going for the day. Pool area very nice, had a nice swim after breakfast before starting our day. Highly recommend.

Pros: Fantastic room! There were 2 kings beds which were very comfortable. The room was very spacious, extremely clean, had a microwave, fridge, and coffee maker, and a beautiful view of the mountains. The entrance to our room was from the outside which made loading and unloading our car very easy. Breakfast was delicious with eggs, sausage, hash browns, waffles, yogurt, oatmeal, fruit and a few other options. The hotel was close to downtown which had many restaurants and shops and close to the RMNP entrance. Cons: Staff really needs to be friendlier. I wouldn't say anyone was particularly rude, but I did not feel welcomed at all. No smiles and just gave us the information we needed and we were on our way. The guy who was serving the hot food at breakfast did not smile or offer a “good morning” but just asked what I wanted to eat. Also be aware that the front desk is only open 7am to 7pm. Fortunately we didn't have any issues that needed attention but I have never seen a hotel that had their front desk open for that short amount of time. We had to check out before 7am so we're not able to get any breakfast to take with us. For as much as we paid for the room we should have been able to at least have a muffin or something to take along. I also didn't like that my credit card was charged when I booked the room, several weeks before we even arrived. I did not realize when booking that this was going to happen. The website said there was still a free cancellation policy but I didn't understand why the entire stay was charged before we even arrived.

There was ongoing construction when we were there, which caused a few issues. Main lobby or atrium area seems to be under construction as well as the laundry room, which we were unable to use. I did need to take an antihistamine the first day due to dust, and halls smelled funny, probably from paint. The hotel was still functioning despite that, and our room was great...very large with 2 kings, closet, larger mini fridge, etc. and looked like it had been renovated. Our view out the back was also great, because our room had a small balcony. If you look down, it's the back parking lot, but if you look straight out, there is the mountain side. The breakfast was great! They had hot food and cold food, so you could get sausage and eggs, or eat cereal or yogurt. Things needing minor tweaks besides finishing construction? I noticed the pool and laundry have 9 o.m. closure times...generally, Estes Park seemed like a very early morning place, although I wonder if the timed entry system for RMNP might change that, but personally I think laundry should be at least until midnight if not 24 hours, and pool until at least 10. I agree with other posters that check in was strange. They call you in your day if arrival to check you in, want to know your arrival time, etc. We were driving in a remote area and we kept dropping the call but the guy kept insisting we call back, which was a bit stressful. Ultimately, we got reception and did the telephonic check in. They left me my room card outside the office since the office closed at 7, and it worked out fine. The next morning you have to come by and check-in, in person because the first keycard expires in 24 hours. Shuttles were still not operating due to Covid, and we had our own car, so I can't speak to getting to RMNP without a car from here. There is no restaurant on site, but you can walk to a few from the hotel.

This property had beautiful rooms with balconies that had breathtaking views of the Rocky Mountains. The staff was so helpful and I loved that this property had two kings in one room. The WIFI was super fast which was great because my mobile service was spotty.

We stayed for 3 nights while visiting the area and felt comfortable at the hotel. We had a 2 king bed room that had everything we needed. The room was spotless and clean. The room had a small microwave, refrigerator, coffee dispenser, a desk and a small table with 2 chairs. Beds were comfy and the bathroom spacious. The breakfast was a staff served meal of waffles, eggs, potatoes and sausage. They also had guest grab and go yogurt, hard boiled eggs, juice, milk, cereal, muffins and apples. Coffee bar too. Everything was very delicious. There's also an indoor pool onsite which my 5 year old loved. The parts of the stay that I would've liked to see change are the cleaning schedule. I was told upon arrival that due to covid they're not offering housekeeping unless you ask for it. That didn't bother me so much because I don't necessarily need our room cleaned daily, but I did need to go to the front desk several times for trash bags, tissue etc. I was traveling with a 5 year old and so we ate in the room several times so we had a lot of trash. It was a pain having to go to the front desk over and over again. Also, the staff didn't seem very welcoming. I saw other reviews mentioning the same thing so glad to see it wasn't just me and my family. However, all the housekeeping and maintenance team always had smiles on their faces and said hello when walking the property. So did the lady at the door during breakfast. She was very pleasant, greeting everyone as they started their day. I would stay again because overall we were extremely comfortable and the hotel had what we needed.

Estes Park is a great area, but it has some dingy hotels. This Best Western is a diamond in the rough. The rooms and property are immaculate. No smoking anywhere on property and no pets. The fridge and microwave are a game-changer. Restaurants in Estes Park tend to be busy and expensive, and this lets you skip them and just go to the grocery store or bring a bunch of food with you. Not the closest to the park, but that has never been a problem for us.

It has a great location and the best Western brand is generally reliable. It is important to know that the reception is staffed from 7 AM to 7 PM and after 7 PM you have to call and make arrangements to check in. The front desk staff is indifferent to not particularly welcoming. They have a good breakfast which is a plus -the rooms are generally clean but even though we had been told that the rooms are not cleaned during the Covid pandemic and we put a privacy sign on our door, every day at 8:15 Housekeeping would make a loud knock to check if we needed the room to be cleaned. They need to work on this. There seems to be some sort of remodeling going on and there is evidence of construction materials and random mattresses lying in open store rooms that you pass on the way to your room. This is not a big deal but again it takes away from the professionalism expected . Overall as we were pretty much spending just spending most of the day at Rocky Mountain national Park it was an acceptable stay

Property located outside of downtown area so easy to enter and leave but very close to park entrance and shops. Our room was oversized with a separate area for the sink and shower along with a side area for the refrigerator and coffee maker. Lovely to have the extra room. Plenty of parking and the view of the ,out rains was spectacular. The hot tub was large and good and hot a really treat after hiking. Breakfast was good and adhered to restrictions. We have traveled throughout Colorado and Utah for the past five years traveling to National Parks and I must say Best Western is always the focus of our travel itinerary. Silver Saddle in Estes Park is outstanding. We actually have stayed here 3 times in the past 10 years. Location is outstanding and it is in the process of a complete renovation that is almost finished. Great value for the money and the breakfast is top notch.

My wife is quite picky on cleanliness, and she remarked that our room looked like it had been deep cleaned. The pool was larger than most plus the hot tub was nice as well. The hotel is updating carpet and the front desk area but this did not bother our stay. Convenient to downtown Estes Park with enough parking available. Would use this inn again!

We made a last minute reservation here after driving through RMNP. Office staff was very helpful. We did not stay in the main hotel. We stayed in one of the buildings out back. We had a reserved parking spot! Our room was clean, quiet and rather large. Enjoyed our stay. We slept in so we did not get breakfast in the morning.

The second room we had booked was not ready and check-in, even though it had been cleaned. When I asked them to call hose keeping to verify the room was ready, the desk clerk merely said that is not the we operate. Later, when my wife commented that the staff did not consider the customers best interests, the manager said, "Why don't you leave" and as my wife walked away, he said" Don't come back" In 40 years of staying in hotels, I have NEVER been treated this way.

Pros: Our room had car-to-room design—no interior hall to navigate, clean, well-maintained, good-sized room, pleasant lighting, decent wifi. Cons: no comforter or blanket so bed seemed cool, not cozy. Room coffee poor, forgettable bagged breakfast, dining room closed. Had to pay for our two nights in full at time of reservation, plus $50 refundable extra when checking in in case we damaged something. No room service unless you ask. We would stay here again.

It was a last minute decision to stay the night and the front desk was able to accomodate our desire to stay. It appeared that the hotel was under renovation (maybe the rooms that face the mountains) but we checked in after 5pm and checked out before 8am, so we experienced no noise. I have a feeling we might have been the only people staying at the hotel, so it was quiet. We were given our grab and go breakfast upon check-in. For those that seem put off by this, I don't think you can really judge a hotel by the included breakfast - it is never spectacular. This one has a granola bar, juice, muffin, apple and a fruit cup. The room was clean and spacious and good lighting. We could open the window for a little mountain breeze. Very convenient location. Right now, the town is sort of sleepy and needs visitors if you are interested!!!

This property is currently undergoing an expansion/remodel project. My wife and I spent 2 nights there and had one of the best stays at any BW properties we have stayed at.. The new look and new rooms are great. Limited services are expected with Covid but they make every effort to accomadate every need. Looking forward to return. They are looking for remodel completion in early sprinh.

Judging by previous reviews, I am not the only one with a very low opinion of this place. I wish I had read before I booked. The staff were very cold if not downright rude. When I was booking just a couple of days before, the website read that breakfast was included and it was one reason I booked there. Other places I stayed in Colorado made adjustments that were reasonable. The man checking me in said that they were giving out breakfast bags at check in and nothing would be offered in the morning. When I asked what was in the bag and he told me, I said that I cannot eat most of what was in the bag. He said that there was nothing he could do about it, and I asked to speak to the manager. I asked the manager if there was an alternative or choice as to what was in the bag and he said no, they were all the same and there was no choice, that was what they had, and that if I couldn't eat it, it wasn't his problem and there were plenty of restaurants I could go to . I asked if there might be an adjustment to the price and he said no, as they were giving mer breakfast even if I could not eat it. (He was not giving me anything. I had paid with the intention of having some sort of choice). I asked him how he would feel if I offered him something to eat that he could not eat, and told him that was it, take it or leave it. Again, he said that was it and no adjustment could be made. I asked him if he was a Christian as he certainly was not acting like one. He said that he was the manager. When I asked who owned the business he refused to tell me. Bad enough, right? I then called Best Western home offices, explained the situation and was put on hold for about five or six minutes. The BW person said he talked to Tim, whoever he is, he is not the manager, and said that I was free to leave, but there would be no adjustment or refund. I guess I should be grateful that I will not be held for ransom. Free to leave. Wow, just as long as I leave my money. Incredible that I would be told that I "was free to leave". I will certainly never return there and will never assume in the future that because a lodging is a Best Western it who be good. This is the worst I have ever been treated by a hotel or motel. So much for service, just give us the money. But I was free to leave. Not only bad service but an idiotic thing to say.

I paid full price for this hotel. On their website it said breakfast included but because of “COVID” then they can only provide you a crappy to go bag. Also, no room cleaning unless you request it, and zero amenities! But guess what? price doesn't change! (While the other hotels allow you to use their amenities and have hot breakfast serve to your room!) Does this mean the hotel is taking advantage from the COVID situation? YOU SHOULD BE ASHAMED! I saw housekeeping didn't wear a mask or gloves when they made up the room so what a “PRETEND-to-be-safe hotel” . I have been a customer of best western for long time but now I totally changed my mind. Stay somewhere else and AVOID this chain! Also this hotel is under construction that didn't mention on their website!!

They lied about their amenities being open and blamed it on COVID despite all the other hotels in the area having open amenities. I tried to cancel on the day of my check in and they refused. I have a complaint filed with the BBB.

We stayed in a room with King-size bed. Room was nice, clean and a/c well-functioning. I love that there is a mounted lamp on each side of the bed for easy reading. The bathroom both has a overhead shower and a hand-held shower, but you have to be careful not to spill water because there is no raised tile to hold water in. Coffee maker and refrigerator are provided and came in handy. Complimentary shampoo/conditioner/lotion, body and facial bar and shower still provided. Due to Covid precautions, the breakfast is in a grab and go bag which includes apple fruit, granola bar, blueberry muffin, mixed fruit, spoon and napkin. Currently, they are having renovation on the parking lot so there is limited space.

We stayed here in 2017 and I rated it very highly. Not so this time. Right now, the hotel is undergoing a major renovation project. There is no mention of this on their website. Parking is very limited due to a large area that is gated off for construction work. Instead of a hot breakfast they are issuing to-go bags that are certainly nothing to get your day started off right. We stayed for 5 nights at the beginning of our trip and 2 nights at the end. There is no housekeeping at all. There isn't even a decent place to throw out your accumulated trash. I realize the claim is that this is due to Covid-19 but other hotels we stayed at during our 16-day western trip did much better than this. The office is closed from 7:00PM until 7:00AM. Our first stay was in an oversized double queen room and it was fine. Our second stay was in a king suite and it was tiny and uncomfortable. I'm hoping that once the construction is complete this hotel will once again deserve a better review. But I believe that the fact that there is currently a large renovation project underway that it should be made known before booking. With that said, I realize that these are challenging times for the travel industry. I wish them well and would stay here again once things normalize.

Minutes from the entrance of Rocky Mountain National park, shuttle stops at the hotel for a ride into the downtown area. Lake Front Street, one block east of the hotel, will take you to Lake Estes with a wonderful path around the Lake for a morning or evening walk. The hotel is in the middle of a large renovation but o did not experience any inconvience or problems because of it. They are providing breakfast bags instead of breakfast room due to Covid and bag needs to be picked up before 6:30pm evening before.

The front desk isn't open after 7pm which is a bit of an inconvenience. The desk staff was unhelpful. Construction was a much bigger nuisance than they led us to believe. We had problems with the room. Below the quality I expected. I won't stay there in the future. There are many better options nearby that provide better experiences.

The good: the room was big and it had air conditioning. The bad: the entire property is under construction, the rooms are outdated, walls are paper thin, half the parking spots are lost to construction equipment, many room outlets don't work, and there is no elevator. The biggest offense may be their covid response: in lieu of the breakfast buffet they are giving out breakfast "bags" with items that most people don't want to eat. When asked about coffee, they said they couldn't put a pot out "because of covid." However, we've seen coffee pots out in other Best Westerns in Colorado no less (or at least behind the desk). This Best Western is not up to par with the brand name!

When we booked the room we were not told about all the construction going on had the pool closed and no breakfast (just a bag of snacks for each person. Below are pictures of the motel. The last one is a sign on the shuttle we rode which was a big lie. Wouldn't recommend to anyone.

No amenities open. Tried blaming covid but every other hotel had pools/gyms open. It was really because of construction. Our only window was totally blocked by a construction trailer. It was like having a room in the basement. Paid way too much for what they offered. Will never stay here again, and recommend everyone avoid it! Plenty of other options.

The facilities were excellent! Very nice room amenities with good air conditioner. I enjoyed the daily happy hour with complementary foods. We enjoyed it almost daily. The staff was excellent in all spaces.

I can see they are somehow moving the positive reviews to the top of the Tripadvisor feed but please take time to review the 1-star comments as they are the most recent. When I booked our five-night reservation in late June, I called the hotel directly to do so. They said NOTHING about, and I am not kidding, MAJOR construction all over the hotel. Nor did they mention their very vague cancellation policy which I still cannot decipher. A couple days before our scheduled arrival, I looked at Tripadvisor to see at some recent reviews and found several very unhappy travelers who posted honest and extremely negative comments about their experience concerning the construction and, more importantly, the attitude of the manager. Seeing this, I called them to see if I could cancel at least part of our stay but was told our room would not be impacted by the construction and, oh, we were not able to cancel because we were outside their very vague window of cancellation. I also asked about the amenities they supposedly offer onsite such as pool, fitness center, hot breakfast and housekeeping but was told they were all closed or canceled due to Covid. Of course, this was not mentioned when I booked the room. We were traveling with another family and when they and my husband arrived at the property, they found half the place covered in scaffolding and the manager very defensive and dismissive. Although the building where our room was located was not directly in the midst of construction, the other family's was in a building that was undergoing extensive renovation. They were told the construction would start at 7:00a.m. and go through the day. Wow, that's so enjoyable and relaxing. This was unacceptable to my husband and our friends so they left and found another hotel in the area that could accommodate them. I am still stunned by the lack of transparency with the manager and on their website - I understand it's tough times right now but it would go a long way if they were honest and upfront, especially when you are paying a premium for a hotel that currently offers no 'extras'. We will dispute this reservation and hopefully get some resolution but, in the meantime, anyone considering a stay there should look elsewhere. Very, very disappointed.

THE OFFICE IS ONLY OPEN 7:30AM-6:30PM! Gen Mgr. Cory Blackman, was curt at best, as if we were interrupting him. Then,no shampoo.Frustrating,but not a big deal.There were hairs in the shower.Go to the front desk for shampoo,discuss changing rooms and to get vending that is in the office building.Office was locked with a note on the door with hours,no number to call.Followed a sign for vending in our building which led downstairs to what was a disarray of storage items.Literally only 7 bags of snacks.Tried to call the front desk.The recording gave a number in case of emergency. I did not consider shampoo/hair in the tub to be an emergency.We got a blanket from the car and put that on the bed to sleep on because we weren't feeling the cleanliness at that point. I called Best Western Customer Care. The gentleman who answered was professional and courteous. He let the manager know of my issues. The manager responded via email, telling me I was wrong, that there was someone on property to take care of issues. I asked how I would have known. No reply back. Contacted BW Customer Care again who curtly said, "You will get no compensation from us!During this time of Covid, we wanted a place we knew had very high standards. I realize BWs are independently owned, however if the Best Western Corporate Customer Care does not have a problem with an owner running a BW like this,then we were not willing to risk going to another BW for the rest of our 2 week stay.

Beware that the construction project is far more extensive than the website lets on. Everything except for the room and the lobby is under heavy construction. I definitely would have stayed elsewhere had I known the extent of the work being done, especially at the high price point and rigid cancellation policy. There was nowhere for my children to play. Wait until after the rennovations are complete to stay here!

Had to fight to cancel reservation upon arrival by filing complaint with Best Western corporate. Manager was defensive about construction and said they are not required to list construction on website. When I called corporate there were no construction notes on their location. There should be now. This hotel is a mess!

When our resv. was made it was not revealed that the hotel was under construction. Very noisy with hammering, drills and heavy machinery moving and beeping. Due to virus no room service. no amenities.

A classic bait and switch situation. The bw website lures you in with nice images of a pool and decent looking bw. When you arrive you are met with a full blown construction zone. Pool closed until further notice. No daily housekeeping unless you specifically ask for it, which condition is buried in a letter they give you. Inexplicably they do not tell you this when you check in. The complimentary hot breakfast is non existent.

We were arriving a day earlier than planned. I called the hotel enroute to see if we could come in a day early. Even though the office would be closed when we arrived the employee made sure we were able to get in our room. The 1st thing I noticed in the room was a letter addressing COVID-19 and what they were doing it address it. Our breakfast bags were also in our room. The room was the nicest I have been in. Two king beds, plenty of room, recently remodeled. Even though there was construction going on it did not affect our stay.

This motel is undergoing extensive renovations. The construction people and staff were very accommodating. It didn't impact our stay at all. The promised breakfast was a sack with an orange or apple, a granola bar, an Otis spunkmeyer muffin, and choice of apple juice or orange juice. We thought this was probably the best they could do while dealing with the COVID-19 issues. The rooms were sanitized and every other room was vacant due to being sanitized for 24 hrs, then rotated into service. Oh yes, the beds were great, the showers hot after long days in RMNP!

We came down for our anniversary and no one let us know that they were under construction. Bagged breakfasts. We did not stay 2 nights. Went elsewhere with a pool and actual breakfast. They lied to us and said it was against county regulations to have a pool open. BS. We asked another motel and they said they can serve breakfast just not buffet style and their pool was open. I wish they told me this when we called to make the reservation. We are out 300$. The other hotel was friendlier anyways. and there was not construction going on at the hotel at 8 am like the best western.

We are yearly visitors to Estes Park and have always stayed at this Inn because of the cleanliness and great breakfast. We arrived to MAJOR construction and bagged breakfast sacks that were horrible. We understand that due to COVID-19, they could not provide the usual self-serve hot breakfast, but a sack breakfast was not worth it at all. They could have offered reduced room rates in light of this change. The construction was not communicated to us at all and we would have definitely chose to stay elsewhere. Kind of sneaking in my opinion.

Double the price of other hotels in area, staff is rude, invoicing system setup scams customers. They Do charge a security deposit and entire stay before check in and return the security deposit 7-10 days after check out. Beds are stiff and uncomfortable and checkout is at 10. I used gift cards for a $30 savings and their system adjusts to charge the same, price doesnt change! When i asked the staff about the giftcards i used and they pointed out that they were used but i didnt pay $30 less and then they got rude. Asked to speak to a manager and never saw him. Two other employees were sent to make me understand the charges. I will never refer this hotel again. Terrible service great looking hotel NO amenities at this time but charge hi dollar for what they dont offer. Very dirty and an eyesore from the road with a crane in the parking lot. Stay at Murphys Resort the hottub is awesome or the craigs lodge its way cool and not too expensive. So many other places deserve customers unlike this place the, best west.

This hotel is clean and comfortable with large rooms that have all the expected amenities. The free breakfast is also among the best that i've had at any hotel. The Hotel is on a hill on the east side of town and gives a view of some of the surrounding mountain peaks.

The room was clean and well appointed. Service was excellent. Breakfast was was the best I have ever had at a motel in 40 years of work and travel. Location was easy to find and access to highway was easy to use. I highly recommend this Best Western facility.

Incredible views, large immaculate rooms, very accommodating staff,and a delicious breakfast. Our stay at the BW in beautiful Estes Park could not have been better! Excellent in every way. Location near town was also great!

Room had been recently remodeled and unlike some remodeled where there is new carpeting and bed, it was obvious this had a complete remodel to the point that the room looked new. Room was very nice and larger than most for a room with 2 queens. Breakfast was a notch above what you would expect for a hotel in this classification.

Great room, breakfast, overall service was excellent. We've stayed here twice and it will always be our first choice when we go to Estes Park, CO. The location is perfect and the rooms are always clean.

We have stayed in the Best Western Plus in Bryce in May so I chose this hotel in Estes Park and was not disappointed. The hotel is convenient, clean, and offers a friendly concierge who helped us plan our daily excursions to Rocky Mountain National Park and the area. The manager was very nice and allowed us an extra hour for checking out (but we only needed 30 min). The fireplace was an added treat when we came in from a cold hike. We would stay here again!

We took one of the last 5 rooms available on the day we checked in. It was a little more than we wanted to pay but it was worth it. This is a very nice hotel. The room was spacious, spotless and quite. The staff were helpful. They had a nice breakfast too.

We stopped by for just one night while visiting Rocky. Not a great facility but just the fact that it's so centrally located and with nothing else available we went for it. They did use physical keys which was a surprise. Breakfast wasn't bad and they did offer parking.

Perfect location. Delighted they offered two king size beds. Nice room with ceiling fan and air conditioning Level parking lot. Quick and convenient breakfast with plenty of options. Will definitely book again as we frequent Estes Park often.

We stayed here, based on the reviews or the cleanliness and found it to be very clean. The location was great, the free breakfast was great, and the room was good size. Even though it is the old motor lodge style, it was updated with parking at your front door. The rooms were quiet. The mattresses need to be replaced with updated mattresses. Felt like the old "box springs" style and didn't get much rest. We stayed Thursday night at $200 per night, which we felt was way overpriced for the property, but then found out the price almost doubled for Friday and Saturday. But, in checking, it was one of the less expensive hotels in the area...so, we left town early and drove to Longmont, Co., about an hour away and spent our money there, while staying in a $120 suite at the Holiday Inn.

Highly recommend this property. Having just stayed at the Ritz Vail prior to Estes Park (3 bedroom suite-4 nights)...we were very pleased with this property/value. Quiet...central location and easy access to downtown and RMNP. We will stay here on our next visit.

I know Estes Park is right at the entrance of Rocky Mountain National park, but we stayed in other towns close to parks and other tourist attractions and their rooms were much more reasonable. The room we got had no view, only window looked out to the parking lot. It cost even more to get a mountain view. Also, the room was so small, we could barely walk around the bed.

One of the best Best Western hotels I have stayed at. Great location & very convenient to downtown and Rocky Mountain National Park. The rooms were spacious, very clean & beds extremely comfortable. Staff was great. Breakfast was delicious! My only complaint was checkout was at 10:00 am rather than 11:00 am. Will definitely recommend to family & friends and will stay here again when in Estes Park.

We continue to visit this hotel whenever visiting Estes Park, Colorado. The rooms are clean, the support staff is very cordial/helpful, the breakfast is more than adequate, and it is a great value for the money.

Was great location, easy to get in and out of. Easy location to enjoy a lot of Colorado Mountains. The breakfast staff did a great job with the food and the cleanliness. Thank you for a great experience.

We stayed just one night. It was terrific. Very quiet rooms, good tv reception, terrific breakfast, clean rooms and terrific new showers. A delightful experience with a great view of the mountains from at least the annex rooms. Would definitely stay here again.

I would be happy with this two-star motel if it had a two-star price. But it has a three-star price. The room was clean and comfortable. The highway location is nothing special, although we were surprised to some elk on the other side of the highway. The reception person treated me like a nuisance, rather than a customer. She ran my credit card a second time to cover "incidentals", even though there was no minibar. Then she asked to see my drivers license, and then she put my license under the counter and collected my license's personal information on Best Western's database, WITHOUT my permission. Lastly, the tiny portable hot tub had filthy water, and the "heated" pool wasn't heated.

We stayed at this BW for 3 nights. The property is little older but well maintained. It is certainly overpriced though for what you get, but it was August, so what can you do. The last evening we stayed there, we came back to the property in the evening and could not get the AC to come on. We noticed that the maid had opened one of the windows and left it open. Our room was getting warm and stuffy, so I tried shutting the window to see if that would trigger the AC. Still no AC. By this time, we were in our PJs and in bed. I didn't feel safe leaving the window open all night, so we just suffered with the hot room. The next morning I explained the situation to the front desk and asked if we could get a partial refund. They just stared at me and said, “no, you should have called us last night”. The staff said that IF the window is open, the AC will not come on. There's a button in the sill that restricts the AC from coming on. HOW WOULD ANYONE KNOW THIS??? There are no signs explaining this in the room. I'm guessing that the maid left BOTH windows open (which I was unaware of) and that was what caused our AC to not come on. So even after spending over $600 there and discussing our frustration, they would not consider even a partial refund. SO, watch yourselves! The customer is NOT always right here at BW Estes Park nor are they given any consideration.

My husband and I stayed here for four nights and loved how close it was to everything. Only a mile from the visitor center at which you can get on the river walk trail to downtown, the trail to lake Estes and catch a shuttle to the National Park. The hotel was clean and comfortable, rooms are nice size and good hot breakfast every morning.

Wonderful place. Easy to locate. Right price for area. Playground for kids included. Quiet. This is an old building BUT everything is up-to-date. Even enough plug-ins for everyones electronics. Only potential negative is their requirement for pre-payment.

Hotel wonderful! Near activities and restaurants. Room spacious and exceptionally clean. Great breakfast. Cleaning crew and staff helpful and timely. We enjoyed our three nights there and best hotel of our two week trip! Would recommend highly!

Upon entering the lobby and our room, I knew I was experiencing a clean, newly decorated and new concept for Best Western. Large rooms, very well designed and clean. All the amenities were perfect, breakfast was plentiful, and well planned. Immediately had the front desk make reservations for our next stop with BW.

Our room was huge, even with two beds. It was also spotless,along with the bathroom. My problem was with the front desk clerks upon checking in. One was helping a guest with a problem when another arrived and began doing something on the computer. Despite my obvious waiting, when another guest came in, the second clerk asked if he could help him! That's when I lost it - after waiting at least 10 minutes, he simply tried to wait on a new arrival. However about that time the first clerk finished with his problem child and waited on me, finally. He had t.o be the slowest human in Colorado! It took him forever to register me, but then I had to get directions to my room. He told me it was on the south side - Yeah, right! This was my first trip to Estes Park, and while I am very good with directions, I could not have begun to tell south from east, west,or north! Fortunately the room was great, but these clerks and their attitudes turned me off for this motel and Best Western. I'll spend my money elsewhere in the future.

Everything about this place is odd... we were on first floor corner room 156 we immediately noticed an adjoining room with only a key lock on our side and no bolt mechanism to keep someone out. The a/c didn't work in the middle of August!! We headed for pool and hot tub no pool towels in sight! Out door hot tub is older than dirt with barely functional jets. Went to front desk for towels and asked how to access indoor hot tub that can be seen through glass near the pool. We had to check out a seperate key and return after use. Only one room at a time has access with hundreds on site! We asked for the closest restroom so we didnt have to go all the way back to our room. Yet another key was needed to use an on site restroom needing check out and return! WTH!! Asked desk about adjoining room they claim only a storage area and no security on our side was needed. Really?? Really...??? This place is loud, low level stay for Estes and definitely like being in the Twilight Zone!! Never Again!! DO NOT RECOMMEND!!

Good location, great staff, very clean- cleanest hotel bathroom I've seen in years. Clean breakfast room with good selection of food. Staff were very helpful and knowledgeable when asked about the town and the park.

We are Estes locals: for overflow, out of town family company recently, we reserved 2 nights at Best Western Silver Saddle for our daughter's family. Our granddaughter was on crutches from recent knee surgery, so we got the family of 4 a handicapped room near the breakfast room. They (and we) are world travelers: for thoughtful, clean, not snobby or pretentious, but focused on human-level comfort, this was a fantastic stay. Pool, easy-access shower, AC, good food, and all else: A+.

We stayed 4 nights here about a mile from the visitor center. The Hotel staff were spot on and the Hot Breakfast was very good and the Coffee awesome. They had eggs, Bacon, Hash Brown wedges, Home style potatoes, sausage links, Sausage patties,(not all at one time it was different each morning) bread for toast, muffins, Pancake maker, 2 waffle makers that were delicious. Oatmeal and fresh fruit, watermelon, melon and cantaloupe, apples and oranges and juice milk and yogurt. Very Very good and the staff kept it stocked!!

We have stayed here several times, and we always go back. It is in perfect condition with unbelievably comfortable rooms which provide a great place to refresh and unwind after a day of sightseeing in Estes Park and the nearby Rocky Mountain National Park.

Recently stayed at this hotel, room was spacious and clean with the most comfy bed I have ever had in a hotel. Staff were pleasant and nothing was too much trouble. If in the area again would definitely stay here.

I had given up on Best Western earlier this year but thought I'd try a BW Plus. This is the nicest, cleanest hotel, well run hotels I have ever stayed at across the Country. The manager Cory should receive an award for his work. Great attention to details, right down to sweeping the sidewalks.

A very nice location. Breakfast was good. I've never been a fan of rooms opening to the outside. Just my preference. The fitness room is average, but the real downside for this location was the fact that we were told that we had to cancel 3 days in advance in order to preserve 36,000 points. That is tough to do when weather plays a role. That was the negative that I took from this location.

Two couples wanted to spend a couple of days in the Estes Park area and found this motel to be a good choice. It offers an excellent breakfast, very clean and neat facility with proximity to downtown, as well as easy access to the National Park.

We hade a good stay here. The room was clean and nice. The pool and yacuzzi vas excellent. The breakfast was also very good. In all a good and clean establishment. I can easily recommend this hotel. The surroundings, the mountains are spectacular as always.

Our family has stayed at the Silver Saddle Best Western Plus for more than twenty years. We have always had a wonderful stay, thanks to the super clean rooms, friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfasts, and more. The fitness room is clean and has a good selection of exercise equipment. We never hesitate to recommend the Silver Saddle and always look forward to our visits there.

You can read through my other reviews and see that I RARELY leave anything other than positive reviews. I've only left negative reviews on two or three other extreme occasions, but I have never been treated this poorly. I can see from the other reviews of this hotel that I'm not alone. First of all, this place looks like a Motel 6, an old Motel 6. For what they charge, and from the misleading pictures they post, I was expecting something a lot nicer. I wish I could tell you what the rooms are like, but we didn't make it that far. After booking this hotel a month in advance, we received a call around Noon on the day we were supposed to check in informing us that the type of room we booked was no longer available. We had been placed in a much smaller room. We were disappointed by this, but they let us change our reservation from 3 nights to 1 night so we could find somewhere else to stay the other 2 nights. Not at all ideal, but whatever. We arrived at our hotel around 4:30pm to check in for 1 night. The front desk clerk took my ID and credit card and checked us in. She even put room keys up on the counter. I noticed that the paperwork they had me signing for the room still said 3 nights. I pointed out the error, and the desk clerk went to go speak to a supervisor. The supervisor comes up, takes the room keys off the counter, and says, "you need to find somewhere else to stay". I was surprised and confused and tried to explain the mistake on the paperwork, but he just kept repeating over and over again, "you need to leave, we can't accommodate you". After asking why several times, he finally explained that the room type we had been moved to couldn't accommodate the number of people in our party (we have 4 kids). I explained that we had initially booked a larger room for that purpose, but they hadn't honored our reservation. He claimed that we had only booked the room for two adults, which is a lie. I even double checked our initial booking online to confirm it. As a large family, we know we won't fit in a typical hotel room, so we always list out 2 adults and 4 kids when reserving a room so we'll be able to select from the biggest rooms and suites. We did so when making this reservation, which is how we booked our original room with two king beds and a sofa sleeper. So basically, this hotel screwed up. They didn't hold our reservation, tried to give us a smaller room, then told us we had too many people for that room, then tried to blame that on us. As I type this out, it's actually kind of hilarious, but I was not amused at the time. This manager/supervisor knew that every hotel in Estes Park had been booked for weeks. He knew we were screwed, but he didn't care. He offered no help. Thankfully, my wife miraculously found an Embassy Suites about 30 miles away that was infinitely better than this drive up hotel/motel - and the Embassy Suites was cheaper, LOL! Please read all these negative reviews and do yourself a favor. Avoid this place.

Driving past this place, it looks like a very modest hotel with just a few rooms. But the more you explore, the more you discover. The property slopes down in the back, so there's a whole other row of rooms that are also at ground level but invisible from the front. And there's also a two-story wing hidden on one side behind some trees. So there are actually quite a few rooms. The location is great - just a short drive from all the shops and restaurants in Estes Park. I suspect the general manager crosses over the line from "attention to detail" into "control freak" because there's not a molecule out of place on the entire property. The maintenance inside and out is impeccable. Most if not all rooms have a nice view of some mountains. I appreciated that the window in my room was openable. Who doesn't want to let in the cool mountain air at night? The breakfast was great. My room rate was on the high side, but I stayed on a holiday weekend, and I booked relatively last minute, so that's what I get. Given how good the stay was, I still feel like I got a decent value. It seems the staff is working hard to do things right, and they're succeeding, so I would definitely return to this property. A few mild criticisms: 1) A 10:00 a.m. checkout time is really aggressive. Given the location, many guests would be leaving early anyway to do outdoor activities, so such an early time seems unnecessary to me. 2) Again, because many Estes Park visitors are up and out early, starting the breakfast a half hour earlier (and perhaps also ending it that much sooner) might be a good idea. 3) Hotels have to have policies, and these need to be communicated to guests. But the signs, cameras, and such make the property feel a bit less friendly and welcoming than it could. Most hotels manage to get their points across while avoiding this.

I'm elderly with poor vision and booked a room for a week by mistake at this motel. I was trying to book at winter park. Almost immediately I realized my error and tried to cancel through hotels.com . They contacted the motel and were told that they are very strict on the cancellation policy, so I called them myself and explained about my vision. I saw that they were completely booked except for this one room and asked if they booked the room in the next two days if they would consider refunding me at least part of the money ( $2000.00). They were very rude and insistent that they wouldn't even try to help me out and basically too bad. I've never seen customer service like this . So I'm out $2000 due to poor vision and a very costly mistake. They could have at least tried to book the room in the busiest season of the year. Incredible.

After having a poor experience at a neighbouring hotel, we decided to see whether any rooms were available at the Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn. When my partner explained our predicament to the gentleman on reception, he could not have been more helpful. The hotel was almost fully booked, but he found a room/suite for us that would have accommodated a larger family, which we accepted. The room/suite was fabulous, fully-equipped, and of an excellent standard, with high-speed internet access. The lovely view of the mountains was a bonus. The gentleman on reception provided us with information on – and directions to – the best restaurants and went out of his way to answer all of our queries and ensure that all our needs were met. We could not fault the service and quality of this hotel and would definitely stay again.

Clean rooms, good breakfast, helpful and friendly staff. Convenient location. Free shuttle service available from the front door. We were there over the 4th, and you could view the fireworks perfectly on the lake from your hotel room deck, without having to fight the crowd.

We had a BLAST!! So clean, pretty, well decorated and excellent staff!! The breakfast is amazing! The best hot breakfast I have ever had in a hotel! The beds are comfortable, the town is beautiful! You won't be disappointed!!

I've been at other BWs a long time ago and wasn't impressed, but when looking at trying to find something convenient in Estes, affordable but yet not a scary dump, and with another party that was leaving early (so we couldn't get a vrbo together) we decided to give this one a try. We were in a 2Q room. On the lower mountain side (back parking lot) which we had front door parking for our room. View of the mountains in the morning sunrises was great to see. The room itself was clean and much larger than a 2Q most other hotels, there was a nice halfwall separating the beds from a sitting area. Safe in room. Bathroom nicely laid out with plenty of hot water. The hot breakfast was very good and great selections for a filling start before a day of hiking (pancakes, waffles, Sausage, hash Browns, bacon, eggs, yogurts, muffins, flavored breads, 2 choices of coffee). Although the price was higher than I would have liked, it was on par with everything else avail in sold out peak Estes summer season (and holiday week). Staff was always greeting friendly and helpful.

We stayed here 3 nights while visiting Rocky Mountain National Park. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. The room was large enough for three adults. They had a hot breakfast with make your own waffles or pancakes, cereal, fresh fruit, bacon or sausage, eggs and potatoes. The containers were always filled and the area kept clean. I would recommend this hotel. The one thing you have to be aware of is that the check out time is 10:00 am. I did not know this until another guest told me.

Nice hotel in Estes Park, walking distance from city center and busstop into the RM NP. Rooms are clean and spacious. Breakfast is very good with fresh fruit, yoghurt and waffles. If you want a tea or coffee in the evening, staff will get it for you from the breakfast room

Found to be professionally managed, lobby was clean and attractive. Front Desk personnel were professional, courteous and friendly. Room had been updated and was comfortable and clean. The continental breakfast offered had a variety of food items all of which were warm and fresh unlike other places I have been. Overall a very good stay well worth the price.

Upon driving up, we were a little concerned. Part of the design looks like the old time motels, which too often were not very nice. We could not have been more wrong. Our room and the whole property in general was clean and well-maintained. The entire staff we encountered was friendly and helpful. We travel quite a bit, and I do not remember the last time we had such a totally pleasant stay anywhere. And, of course, it is located in what has come to be one of our favorite destinations in the beautiful town of Estes Park.

HORRIBLE customer service by the hotel and Expedia!!! Be warned! I booked a night at this hotel. I realized immediately that I booked the wrong date. I called the hotel within 1 hour to correct the date. The person at the front desk refused to help me make this change. He told me that Expedia did not like for them to change their reservations. So I then called Expedia. They told me that they could not make any changes without the hotel manager's approval. The manager was not available so they would have to call me back. For the next few days I was on the phone with Expedia for at least one hour at a time (their hold times are horrible). I also called the manager of the hotel (Cory) and left a voice mail message and got no response. Today I finally got through to the manager and he says that since I called 1 hour after I book the room, that I could not cancel it. Meanwhile, when you book a reservation through Expedia, it tells you not to call the hotel right away because it will take some time for them to receive it. This all sounds like a setup! I called the hotel less than one hour after I booked the reservation and simply wanted to change it for the next day. I was refused this change and Expedia did not help in any way.

The ac was not working in the room. It was brought to the staffs attention twice and they could care less about the issue. I asked if the room rate could be dropped a little since the ac was broken and made for a horrible nights sleep and the response was no. They offered another couple a lower rate to stay there as a walk in then I paid.

The Silver Saddle Inn was a great place to stay on a birthday trip for my Mom who had never been to Estes before. Very convenient location a little ways from the bustle of downtown Estes. The room was very nice and clean and the hot breakfast each morning was an added perk. We enjoyed a field of elk one afternoon, right outside our door.

This hotel was so nice. The rooms are spacios. Loved the chair and ottoman. We were on the 2nd floor of the further back building that offered great view. I especially loved the wide porch area. Breajfast was amazing. The beds were comfortable.

I didnt know they had a pool til I got there!! The evening manager was very nice and gave us a sorta nice room.It could be a killer nice place but the whole bathroom needed replacing and the whole place needed a facelift! But the price was nice only about 100 a nite!!!

Excellent stay. Guest oriented. I'll be back. Looking for and will be needing a Tuesday night stay for the summer. I volunteer in the National Park. Would like to pay less, but understand the tourist season. Will stay when possible. Excellent Visit!

We stayed in a 2 queen room from one night. The room was huge, clean, quite, and seemed newly updated. Breakfast had a ton of options and was tasty. Only one little hiccup...When we checked in we were given someone elses paperwork to fill out (i said something about that not being my name but she still proceed to have me fill it out), so our keys did not work for the room we were given. We then went back to the lobby to have them correct that, got into our room, a few hours later we got 2 calls asking if we were going to check in because they were closing soon and to come back and fill out the correct paperwork. We reminded the lady that we had already checked in hours ago and that she had given us different room (she just changed our room number to whosoever name was on the original paperwork I filled out). Well fast forward a couple more hours while we were sleeping, the person who was originally suppose to have that room tried to get into our room, the lady at the front desk had forgotten again. She seemed a bit disorganized. Not a big deal, just a bit frustrating to deal with the same issue so many times.

My husband and I stayed here while we were in town for a wedding. This is a great little hotel. Very quiet (despite being fairly full), clean, recently updated. The staff was very friendly. Breakfast was above average as far as free breakfast situations go, with waffles, pancakes, scrambled eggs, potatoes, and sausage/bacon daily, plus oatmeal with toppings, various breads/muffins, fruit, dry cereal, and yogurt. The breakfast room was spacious and clean and breakfast attendants were attentive. There was a sign that indicated that gluten friendly and dairy free options were available on request also. The hotel is located along the main road through Estes Park in an area with several other hotels, just minutes from the shopping/dining area of town. Rates were very reasonable, room was a decent size and had a mini fridge and microwave, as well as a coffee maker. Would definitely stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here one night on our visit to Rocky Mountain National Park. Though the rooms are small they were very clean. I even asked the front desk what they used to make their bathrooms shine so. The included breakfast was delicious and offered fresh fruit, oatmeal with all kinds of toppings,eggs, sausage, bacon, sweet rolls, muffins, etc.We recommend this hotel.

We enjoyed our one night stay at this great hotel. The room was perfect and I wished we had more time to stay longer! The service was great. The breakfast the next day was very good, a lot of choices. We're got a lot of tips on what to see while we were there.

I wish all hotels in this category could be as good as BW Silver Saddle. This is simply a very good place to stay. Friendly staff, very good breakfast, excellent views from the room - the list goes on. The room was excellent; big, clean, modern, fast wifi and with all facilities we expected. A small thing like lots of electric sockets for my gadgets is a true differentiator. The hotel seems new and appears fresh. Highly recommended.

Very clean, friendly nice hotel, had a nice breakfast and a beautiful view. The check in is not open 24 hours, so plan accordingly and they were nice enough to call and let us know that. It is located less than a 1/4 mile to Estes Park Visitor Center and the Elk were everywhere!

Although a bit dated, this was one of the most pleasant stays I've had. The location is good with views available from some rooms. The staff was friendly and accommodating. I'm planning to return in the fall.

This is a nice clean room that was very comfortable. The staff was very helpful and the breakfast was very good. Good value for the money!!PS. Turn right out of the hotel and go down about 1/4 of a mile for some of the best pizza you will have.

Only spent one night here, but it was really comfortable and absolutely everything was included. The room had a great TV, refrigerator, coffee maker, plenty of plugs for electronics and a large bathroom. Very quiet on the property, even with a major road in front of the hotel. The breakfast was very good--actual eggs that were really tasty and all the fixings to make a great breakfast burrito.

The staff were great. Breakfast was very good. Room was clean and beds comfortable. Rates were reasonable. We stayed in a "family suite", which was an odd shaped and a little dark room. Can't recommend this particular room, but the hotel was very nice. Overall, we enjoyed our stay.

So the story here is that in our opinion we paid way too much for this room, probably bad timing because we arrived at Estes Park on the last Saturday and the last day of September and there was not much accomodation left. In all the travel books that we had studied we were under the impression that the nightly rates pretty much change come the 1st of October. So to have that particular room we were told that we had to book for 2 nights which meant that we had to pay the same rate for Saturday the 30th September even though Sunday was the 1st of October. So of course the next day there were vacancies everywhere and we were locked into 2 nights. Anyway we will certainly not make that mistake again! In saying all that we did have a nice little room, easy parking, a nice breakfast and Wifi.

People were kind making reservations staff were very helpful. Made it easy to reserve room. Quick to get email for reservation. Greetings at breakfast. Called me to make arrangements for late arrival. Thanks everyone

Due to the very affordable price, we were not expecting much from this hotel. We were pleasantly surprised with how nice this place is. The rooms are upscale, very nicely appointed and exceptionally clean. The complimentary buffet style breakfast the next morning was also notably above average, with a variety of breakfast choices. The dining area is clean and comfortable. Best of all was the coffee. They even served French Roast, (my favorite)!If you are looking for a budget friendly hotel that doesn't compromise on quality, this Best Western has to be the best deal in Estes Park.

This was the absolutely the cleanest hotel/motel I have every stayed in. The beds were so comfortable. The tub in the bathroom was so very clean. The bathroom itself was spotless. The staff was so helpful tried finding us somewhere good to eat but all the restaurants closed at 9 so we had to have McDonalds for supper. The breakfast was delicious and it was so cozy eating it by the fireplace. Dining area was clean as could be also. Check in was a breeze. Cannot say enough about this motel. Will definitely stay again.

I was pleased they offered two king sized beds in a room. Staff wasn't the friendliest, but not a big deal. Overall, nice clean room with good service. Based on what else is in town I would stay here again.

Looking at other peoples bad reviews of places to stay, we didn't want anything to complain about when we came back to our motel from a long day of hiking in the park, or waking up for another one. We spent nine hours getting here and vacations are hard to come by. We didn't come here for stress. Best Western came through on that. It may have been a little more to spend than other places, but we had no complaints. My wife was happy and that's all that mattered. Big breakfast selection, guests were all happy and talking to each other, bathroom was huge, another plus, beds were comfortable, big tv, ceiling fan...

Breakfast was included. the hotel is located at Big Thompson Ave and has ample free parking spaces available. downtown is close, but too far for walking. can recommend it for anyone staying in Estes Park

We stayed two nights at this property and highly recommend it! Our room was at the very back of the property with great views of the mountains. The room was very clean and the beds exceptionally comfortable. The staff behind the front desk were super nice and friendly and the breakfast was very good! We would definitely stay here again.

It's what you expect of a Best Western, good value, nice room, comfortable bed, lots of space. Good parking outside the room, breakfast minimal with not great cooked offering. No restaurant or bar :( so had to go driving again to find dinner. Overall it's what BW's do and it's okay, no real issues.

The 2 gentleman at the front desk at the time of check in were very friendly and took the time to answer questions re the whereabouts of the elk etc. Our room was was lovely and accommodated us 4 gals comfortably as we celebrated the birthday of one of our good friends. The complimentary breakfast was very good also:) Great hotel, cool town, good eats and drinks, and beautiful scenery with tons of wildlife. Can't wait to go back.

Good location, 10 min drive to Rocky Mountain Park and 5 min, from center of town. It is a very small town so everything is close. Grocery store, restaurants, shops, etc. Room was the usual size with 2 queen beds. Lots of pillows, but too big and uncomfortable for me. Balcony with chairs was a plus with nice views. Playground on the back, free parking and great WiFi. Breakfast buffet was very plentiful with some hot choices and the regular waffles and cereals. Hotel was clean with a pool, and staff was very nice and helpful. There's a small kitchenette in the room with a micro-fridge, but has no dishes, glasses or silverware.

One of the nicest hotels we have stayed at. The staff were very helpful and professional. Our room had a gas fire place and an amazing bed. Almost every evening on the way to the hotel from Rocky Mountain National Park we would have to stop so elk could cross the road next to the hotel. We could be in the park within about 10 minutes of leaving the hotel. We will stay here again on our next trip to Estes Park.

We stayed two nights but our first was short - - woke at 3:45 a.m. to water on the bathroom floor. There were a couple of things going on and the person we called to advise was very accommodating and cheerful. The room and bathroom were very clean. The fireplace and outside seating on the balcony were nice touches. The large rolling laundry carts while we were trying to nap were a little noisy. Without giving you TMI I should mention that the toilets have a "jet assisted" flushing system so you might want to keep that in mind. That's all I'm going to say about that.

We stayed for 2 nights at this Best Western while in town for my brothers wedding in Estes Park. The accommodations were great, clean rooms , very comfortable beds and the handicapped accessible bathroom was well equipped for my mother. The breakfast was delicious and offered a good variety. This hotel also in a very convenient location to the shops and Rocky Mtn entrances. Very enjoyable stay and beautiful views and friendly staff. I would give it high reviews and definitely stay again if ever in Estes Park.

Very nice hotel, clean rooms with newly remodeled bathroom. Continental breakfast included. Friendly and caring staff. Nice heated pool. We encountered huge elks strolling through hotel parking at evenings, that was awesome for us big city people.

Average lodging in a rustic location near Rocky Mountains. Nice option for Complimentary local shuttle service into local town for Thursday Farmer Market and local handcrafted shoppes. Inn is designed in 2 separate types of lodging -main building motel like design and separate outlaying cabin/motel like housing. Sparse lounge and dining area that provides registration, open internet business desk area, small dining for complimentary standard breakfast. Housekeeping and landscaping & building maintenance is good. Surprised that there is no garbage cans in accessible ice room and locations and that there is replacement room card fee. Employees are pleasant and accessible.

We do a trip to Estes Park every year, we usually stay in a cabin, but decided that with all the activities we plan for 2 days it might be nice to stay somewhere with complimentary breakfast for a faster start in the morning. Not a good experience with Best Western Plus multiple issues and the BREAKFAST the reason for booking a room instead of a cabin was HORRIBLE!!!

The hotel has a helpful and courteous staff with clean rooms. Although the property is showing some years in terms of style/decor, the staff more than makes up for the room feel. Note, the hotel is "motel" style where your room door opens to the parking lot. The hotel includes a hot breakfast each morning with your stay. One example of a great staff member is Susie, the breakfast greeter, who also provides knowledgeable tips and suggestions for visiting nearby Rocky Mountain National Park. Her suggestions saved us time and allowed us to skip the usual question line with rangers at one of the park visitor centers. Thanks Susie! We enjoyed our visit to Rocky Mtn National Park and the Best Western Silver Saddle Inn.

The room was spotless. Great breakfast. Have stayed the same place for 25+ years. Staff is very friendly. View from balcony awesome. Beds are extremely comfortable. Have taken many friends and family members to this hotels.

My wife and I spent the week of August 13 at the Silver Saddle. We were pleased with the accommodations. The room and entire Inn were very clean and well maintained. The free breakfast was good with a wide selection of choices. The Inn is located at a stop on one of Estes Park's free shuttles. We even saw elk from our balcony on the last morning of our stay. We will definitely stay at the Silver Saddle when we return to Estes Park.

We recently stayed 3 nights at BW Silver Saddle Inn at Estes Park. I had researched hotels, motels and lodges until I was sick. I saw Silver Saddle Inn but didn't want to pay $$. We left for our 13 hour drive and Trip Advisor said to call hotel direct for better prices. I decided this was our best choice for lodging. I called and the man answering had nights available and was very nice, I also did get a better price calling direct. We arrived and same friendly check-in. Also explained the town, area map and everything about the hotel... I HAVE NEVER in my 58 years of trips and hotel stays been to a cleaner hotel. Our room was very clean and also cleaned by the time we got back each day. The breakfast got us going early and served a lot of people and was continuously restocked, tables and floors were clean they had hot food, cereals, and fruits were served. There was a lady in the lobby each morning to answer local questions and things to do. Our room was on third floor with a Mountain View. I never saw one piece of trash or paper anywhere on the grounds, lobby or pool area. My husband was very sick during the night before we left. I did not realize check-out was 10am instead of 11am. I called and the front desk and they gave us an extra hour to check-out. This was very much appreciated as we were still trying to figure out if he could travel or stay another night. The only complaint I could have was we could not find a trash can on the grounds anywhere - later realizing it was probably because of bears or other wildlife. It was nice coming back each day after being tired and exhausted. There was also comfortable chairs/lobby area on our floor and many benches outside to sit and look at the mountains and enjoy the cooler evening air. I REPEAT - in my 58 years of travels I have never stayed at a cleaner and friendly hotel. Great job Silver Saddle ?????? I would highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are ever in the Estes Park area. The Richardson's..

The desk staff was brusque in regards to the fact that I used Expedia to book my stay (which is required by the company I work for). I realize that many hotels do NOT give points when a 3rd party is used for the booking, but I've never had a hotel display such a rude manner in regards to it. The breakfast was average - a little better than some I've had... but average to most hotels. Estes Park didn't start out as a tourist town. Hit the safeway for any grocery needs.

The hotel is situated a little outside (about 5 min by car) the city center of Estes Park on the way for the Rocky Mountains NP. We stayed 3 nights while visiting the Rocky Mountains NP and we really enjoyed it. Our room was clean, quite large and with a very comfortable bed. Breakfast buffet was nice. The hotel also has a hetaed external pool, a small kiosk and few computers to be used in the lobby. Staff was really polite and helped us to find stores and plan our daily trips in the park. I would strongly recommend this hotel.

Stayed here in July 2018 for two nights. Everything was nice, including helpful staff and a decent budget chain breakfast. They did post a "concierge" at the entrance to the breakfast area, although I think she was more there to make sure no one snuck too much food out. The location was fine, although getting closer to RMNP might be more convenient, depending on your needs. Would stay here again.

Nice hotel. Wifi actually works well unlike typical hotel wifi. Decent breakfast. Friendly staff. Nice pool. Great hot tub. The hotel is located about a mile from down town Estes so there isn't a ton of traffic and it's nice and quite at the hotel and pool area.

We had a room with a balcony and Mountain View's. The room was large and very clean. The fireplace was a nice surprise. The staff was very friendly and helpful. We had to leave super early before breakfast one morning and they packed us a breakfast bag the evening before so we wouldn't miss out.

I recently stayed with my family at this hotel and we had an wonderful experience. From the first moment of check-in until departure the entire staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The hot breakfast there is delicious, The staff keeps the eating area spotless and the food is very tasty. Saved us lots of time so that we could start our hikes that much sooner in the am. One of the best meal selections we have had at a hotel breakfast!! The location is good. Very close to the downtown Estes Park and close to the entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. If you can upgrade to the room with the mountain patio, that is an excellent choice and the room is very large. Very comfy beds too!! Keep up the quality of this Best Western,We hope to be back soon.

The location was very close to all the activities, the downtown and RMNP. The room was quiet and clean. They offered a breakfast buffet with many hot or cold choices including fresh fruit. The staff was very welcoming.

Hotel is in a very good location. Just minutes to downtown. Minutes to the entry of Rocky Mount national Park. Very clean, good facilities and very warm staff. Breakfast was very delicious and very impressive selection of items. I would definitely consider staying here again.

Great location about a minute from downtown, 5 minutes from Rocky Mountain National Park. Our room was bigger than I expected, super clean, and very pleasant staff. Breakfast was good, kids enjoyed the pool, and there were elk in the parking lot the day we left. We had no complaints all around! We'll be back!

Place is very well maintained and cared for. First class employees. Breakfast is top notch. Perfect location... Your hotel search in Estes Park should be over. I am actually a harsh hotel critic.... So this is odd for me to leave a hotel so pleased.

A great place to stay the rooms have plenty of room and more furniture than you expect. The staff members were all very helpful. It's a place you will enjoy staying at. It's located just far enough out of downtown to give you access to everything. This was our second time to stay at this Hotel in the last 8 years and have been well pleased.

Staff was excellent and always helpfull. Room was kept clean everyday. Very good location to National Park and downtown shopping area. Located on route for free shuttle service. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

I originally booked a 2 queen bed room, but after a week long road trip with two teenagers we needed more room. Called the day before our arrival to see if they had a 3 queen bed room available for our two night stay. The front desk person indicated 3 bed rooms normally need a 3 night minimum stay, but he will check with the manager. The manager let us have the 3 queen beds room for our two night stay. It was like a mini suite, Two beds in one room and the 3rd bed in it's own room. We will definitely stay at this hotel again if we go back to Estes Park.

Beautiful veiw of the mountains, close to downtown shopping. Wish check in was a little earlier and check out was a little later. With kids they like to get up and go swimming before you leave and with a 10 am check out it was hard being the pool opens at 9

Nice beds, clean rooms and nice people. Good breakfast. Well priced and worth the drive out of town a little. Cool little playground , close to everything you eant to be near. We stayed after unfortunate issues with camping so it saved our trip.

We stayed here two nights while visiting RMNP. The location to the park is very convenient as well as to the town of Estes. The bed was super comfy and the free breakfast was good. I would stay here again.

My husband and I stayed here for 5 nights in early June and were very happy with our choice. The room we had was a large comfortable room with high ceilings and bow windows. The breakfast each morning was nicely done and was replenished often so the eggs and sides were always hot. It was convenient to town and Rocky Mountain National Park. The staff we met were very helpful and everyone went out of there way for us. We definitely enjoyed our stay.

This hotel was comfortable, clean and quiet. I stayed here with my three teenage children while we were hiking at Rocky Mountain National Park. The hotel is about a mile walk to the Estes Park Visitor Center where you can get a shuttle to Rocky Mountain National Park. The room we stayed in was very nice. The breakfast was very good each day.

We have stayed at another hotel in Estes for years but with different ownership, this time it wasn't where we wanted to be. We were attracted to the Silver Saddle Inn because of its clean pleasant appearance from the highway. We were very pleased with the rate and oh so pleasantly surprised by our accommodations. We had a wonderful clean room with a beautiful view. Plus, we had a bench right outside our room for enjoying the view. The staff were so friendly and helpful. Everyone that we had contact with was pleasant and glad to help. The breakfast was delicious and well served. We would recommend this hotel for anyone who wants comfort, view, and ease of getting into downtown. You will be glad you did!

Our room was very comfortable and clean. Staff was helpful and mostly friendly. And the included breakfast was much better than what I have come to expect from similar hotels. Our room was quiet, but it was also on the end of the building and next to what appeared to be a vacant room, so we weren't sharing walls with other guests. We heard from other family members staying at the same property that they could very clearly hear conversations and hairdryers in the adjoining room.

We stayed at this newly renovated hotel. The receptionist was very helpful and friendly. Our room was on the small building on the first floor and it was a very big room with 2 comfortable beds, a large bathroom and some extra space where the refrigerator was. The vieuw was amazing, what a beautiful area. Next morning when we arrived in the breakfastroom, it was almost empty (we were late), but we had some good food because it didn't ran out of food. The only regret I had was that we only spent 1 night at this place.

We stayed at the Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn at Estes Park Colorado. Its located right on the main highway, so very easy to find. It was a short drive from restaurants and places we wanted to go. The room was clean, comfortable and well-cared for. We had a nice breakfast--more than just a continental type--at the hotel each day we were there. We were at the back of the building, so it was nice and quiet. We would stay there if we go to the area again.

This property is well maintained and has friendly helpful staff is close to everything. You get a hot breakfast with lots of choices. I plan to stay here again and would recommend it to others. Reasonable price for a comfy stay.

Our king room was very clean. The breakfast had more than expected with fruit, cereal, green chili, toast, juice, and more. Very comfortable for visiting RMNP. Several places such as a distillery within walking distance.

My son stayed here this past week for 2 nights. He had been hiking and camping and became ill with a sinus infection. He needed to get out of the elements and get some good sleep. Well that he got! A clean room and friendly staff. When I called to make the last minute reservation the woman was helpful and friendly. Very smooth for this nervous mama. Within 2 days my son was a new man! Refreshed and had plenty of their delicious breakfast. Thank you all for his wonderful stay!

A very nice place to stay; it was not within walking distance to town, but we had a car so there was no problem. Rooms were spacious; breakfast was excellent - there were a variety of options. My only complaint is there needed to be more outlets to charge electronic devices.

I met here with close family friends to celebrate the life of one of our family members who was originally from England. Our dear departed friend claimed Colorado as her home state and particularly loved Estes Park and the National Park. As emotional and important as this was to all of us present, this hotel seemed to make it their highest priority to help make it as comfortable and memorable as possible. The rooms were comfortable and clean, the staff were helpful and friendly. The conference rooms offered a selection of sizes to accommodate any group and we found one that fit our needs just right. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting for any reason, business or pleasure. It's central location offers easy access to all area shops, restaurants, and activities.

Hotel is not in the main part of Estes Park, but only a few minutes from center of town by car. Facility is attractive and well maintained. Rooms were very clean and nicely furnished. Breakfast was very good. Fitness room was sparse and only accessible from 6:30 AM to 10 PM, but a lot of hiking awaits in nearby Rocky Mountain National Park.

Stayed here for 2 nights while touring Estes Park and Rocky Mountain National Park. Smooth check in. Facility is older, but room has been remodeled. Clean and comfortable, with a wonderful at-home ambience. Full hot breakfast included with many options. I would definitely stay here again!

This hotel is perched on hotel row about a half mile from downtown Estes Park; there is a walking/biking path, but driving is infinitely preferable if you want to shop and look around. The hotel management here is very precise and, perhaps, a bit idiosyncratic--there are rules for everything, and systems put in place to prevent you breaking them. For instance, you must check out a separate key to the fitness room if you want to work out, and return it once you are done. This is to prevent anyone under 18 from using the fitness room, in which further rules are posted. All the rules and precision, while a bit constricting, do make this property very clean and well maintained. That spirit of precision also guides the appearance and offerings in the breakfast room, which is pristine and bountiful: pancakes, waffles, eggs with cheese, hash browns, several cereals, and even a touch of the local--green pork chili. As far as the rooms are concerned, there are several different floor plans, but all three that I saw have gas fireplaces, which is a real comfort in the cold mountain evenings and mornings. Many rooms have balconies that overlook the valley below. This is a truly nice place to stay!

The staff we encountered were great - at check-in, the breakfast area, and housekeeping. My issue is with how they charge your credit card MONTHS in advance for the full amount of the reservation. I decided to cancel my original reservation even with my BW Rewards member benefits, and rebooked using credit card points...what followed was a nasty surprise on my statement afterward. The only winner was Mastercard, which profited $20 off a "free cancellation" due to foreign exchange differentials. I contacted the manager about this, as well as customer service, and they were indifferent. When we arrived and during our stay, the hotel looked to be about 1/3 occupied, and they gave us a very dark room on the ground floor, tucked in a corner. I asked for a brighter room and the manager said it would be an extra charge for a larger room with a view. Instead of trying to make us happy by offering a complimentary upgrade (those rooms were sitting empty anyway), they refused to budge and now I'm annoyed enough to spend time writing this review.

We've stayed here maybe 4 times over the past few years. It has been consistently very clean, beds are comfortable, the temperature of the room is easy to control, and updated flat-screen t.v. Our rooms have always had an ironing board, hairdryer, Pantene shower products, coffee maker, and refrigerator. This time that we stayed, we were able to experience their new breakfast area. It was really well-stocked and decorated very nicely. The staff really seems to care about your experience here. We are platinum for life at Marriott and Hilton and stay in their hotels over 200 nights a year. This Best Western Plus in Estes Park compares much higher than most of our experiences at the major chains. Highly recommend!

This hotel was great. very clean, we'll decorated and comfortable. great location. very friendly staff. Bill even called me to see if we needed special late check in. The breakfast was wonderful: fresh scrambled eggs (not powdered) , sausage, bacon, waffles, muffins and much more. lots of variety. The rate was more than fair. As you can tell I highly recommend this property.

Our room was frigid at 1 am. Got out of bed and turned the heat up, but it wouldn't respond. Heat registers were cold, no air coming out of the other unit. The temperature outside was in the 20s, and the winds were gusting to above 50 MPH. I could feel the cold drafts from the window and door area. In the morning, I could see that there was a sizable gap in the weatherstripping at the bottom of the door to the outside. In the morning, we informed management of the problem. The manager said that if I had notified him right away (in the middle of the night) he could have compensated us. No apology, nothing. I guess they have a central system where they can control the heat in the rooms, and our room was set for 66 degrees, which didn't work because of the cold breezes wafting through the room. They did give control back to us for our second nights stay. obviously they were responsible for our discomfort on the first night, but the manager simply did not care.

I've stayed at this hotel multiple times and it just gets better each time. On this most recent trip a small snow storm dropped 3-4 inches of snow. The next morning I noticed my car had a cleared path to it. Wow, they shoveled paths to the cars in the early morning! The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. Some have a nice view of Twin Sisters and Longs Peak mountains. Breakfast is always fresh and tasty.

From their online reservation help to our checkout, this Best Western gets my 5 stars, I would give more if I could. The lobby was inviting, Bill at the front desk check-in was awesome, and there's a little shop with goodies in there too. Our room was clean and fresh, with easy access from our car (room 235). The breakfast buffet is great, with hot and cold items, enough choices for all diets and tastes. Ask for a late checkout, as it's 10 a.m. normally

This little hotel is in a harder spot to find - our room was around back, which was hard a first, but the room was clean and comfortable. It is a basic hotel, but with easy access to the parking lot. I enjoyed being so close to town, but not in downtown. Pricing was what I would expect. We had a great time and a cozy stay.

We just recently visited Estes for my birthday weekend. (We visit Estes as frequently as we can). The hotel is in a great location. We actually used our diamond member points, so we did not have to pay for the room, so I have no complaints. We went during a time that wasn't busy at all, actually I believe we may have been the only people staying there. We never saw anyone else. The room was clean and bed was comfortable and perfectly fine especially for a room that was paid for with points. Staff was friendly. However, if I had been paying for the room I would definitely ask for an upper level room with a view of the mountains and the upper rooms have balconies. Our room on the lower level was directly in front of the sheds and trash dumpsters ( room 159 I believe) ( again, I was not about to complain and ask for another room since we were using points, but once I realized that no one else was there, I wish I would have :)). If you enjoy sitting out on a deck to enjoy the views, ask for an upper level facing the mountains because some of the rooms will have incredible views. We did at least face the mountains & wasn't a big deal. I've attached a picture.

55 years ago I worked at the E. P. Chalet on Mary's Lake. This December I attended a destination wedding in E.P. It was interesting to see so much activity in Estes Park in the off season. The Best Western Plus building has been there for many years, it has been well maintained, and remodeled, the rooms and public areas were immaculate. The off season crew were locals, very professionally managed.

The service was outstanding. Check in was fast, friendly, and convenient. The staff was most helpful. The rooms were very clean and up to date. Really enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this location. Thanks for a great experience.

This hotel is very comfortable with very friendly helpful staff. Breakfast is exceptional. not far from shops and restaurants. Love that it had fridge and microwave. nice interior.. Cant think of anything else but great hotel.

This hotel was very nice. The room was well furnished and decorated. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I used the laundry services while here. The washer/dryer area was nice and clean. The breakfast was a full hot breakfast. We will stay here if we visit the area again. The location was just down the street from the gate to Rocky Moutain National Park. We had no problem getting there,

Very good location close to everything yet, quite and about a mile or so from the heart of the downtown. All around a very clean, cozy, friendly boutique like hotel. The staff were very accommodating, friendly and hospitable

We have stayed at the Silver Saddle Best Western several times and it has always been excellent. Now, with their new breakfast area and breakfast selections it is better than ever. The rooms are always spotlessly clean, the front counter folks most friendly and helpful and it's in a great location. Our group of 16 had a great stay.

This hotel was cozy and the staff warm and friendly. Our room was very nice, clean and the bed comfortable. The breakfast of eggs scrambled with cheese we topped with pork green chili... yum! Breakfast included fruit, pancakes, yogurt, cereals and more.

This hotel was great and only a few miles from the Rocky Mountain National Park entrance. We had room 229 which was perfect, spacious and no close neighbors so very quiet. The free breakfast was everything you need. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Stores were close by as well.

One of the best breakfast I have had in a hotel. The hotel was clean and the staff was very friendly. Room was very nice with DirectTV, I had access to the same TV channels I have at home. If I need to stay in Estes Park again, this is where I am staying.

I've probably stayed at three dozen Best Westerns, and this ranks among my top three or four. Great mountain views, amply sized room with two king beds, courteous and friendly staff and a very attractive looking property overall. It is also conveniently located near town. There's no question that if I'm back to Estes Park, this will be my primary option for my next stay.

This was an great hotel. The staff, location and room were all exceptional. Close to downtown and Rocky Mt. National Forest. Nature was all around in the form of elk in the parking lot and waking up to 12 inches of snow. Loved it!

Clean, clean, clean! Comfortable bed, great staff, and the breakfast green chile was amazing. Would highly recommend this place to anyone staying in the area. The only downside was that the hot tub was down for repair.

Excellent Motel. We loved the breakfast selection of items and it allowed us to get up and go about touring the park and town so easily. The rooms were outstanding and clean. The view from the room was as good as it gets. We did find very few outdoor trash bins available but understand this as bears tend to roam around areas of Estes Park and can sometimes make a mess. We have stayed at this hotel three years in a room as we tour the Rocky Mountain National Park in the fall.

Outstanding staff. They were welcoming, helpful, and offered helpful suggestions about dining location and places to visit. Well maintained rooms and facilities. The furniture had a modern clean appearance. The breakfast was of high quality. Truly a wonderful experience.

Estes Park is full of lodging but I would highly recommend the Silver Saddle. The check-in experience made me feel like a valued guest, the room was comfortable, clean and had all amenities we needed and breakfast was very nice. Check out was also efficient and I commend Bill Hanks of hotel staff with his courteous, friendly approach to welcome guests and make them feel cared about.

This Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn was very welcoming with pleasant, helpful employees and spacious clean rooms. Loved the fireplace in our room and the big window with a mountain view! Great location and the grounds are well kept. Continental Breakfast was served in a bright, cozy room and had the standard selections.

We stayed for one night; the room was clean, quiet and comfortable with a spacious bathroom. Breakfast offered plenty of selection. The front desk staff were friendly and helpful. Good location close to town and not far from RMNP.

This hotel has a policy of charging the full stay in advance - we booked in July for an October stay. In addition, they have a 3 day cancellation policy. As it turned out, we had to cancel the last night of our stay due to prediction of the first winter storm with upwards of 10+ inches of snow expected. Since we are from Texas and do not have snow tires, we cancelled our last nights stay so we could get ahead of the storm. Upon cancellation, we were advised that since we did not cancel prior to the 3 day requirement that we would be charged for the cancelled night. Upon some negotiation, the GM agreed to refund half the night's cost. We as senior citizens think we should have gotten the full refund since we cannot predict the weather especially when making reservations in July. I have been a Platinum member with BW hotels for a number of years and have never had a hotel first, bill me for full stay months in advance, and second have a 3 day in advance cancellation requirement. While this hotel was well kept, the room was extremely small - we had to remove the ironing board from the closet in order to put up the suitcase holder for a suitcase. In closing, we will look elsewhere for lodging the next time we visit Steamboat and advise future visitors to be aware of this hotels policies before booking here.

You cannot go wrong with a friendly courteous staff and extrodinary clean rooms. We odered a king size room for an overnight stay, we recieved a room with two king beds and a gas fireplace. Thier rate was the "Best " in town. The room was impeccably clean! I wil go there again and it will be my first choice.

Pleasant hotel with attentive staff. Hotel has been modernized and fully updated. Baths are well done with great showers. Beds are excellent. Breakfast offers lots of choices and eggs are really cooked, not powdered eggs. Good coffee to start your day. Easy drive to Rocky Mountain State Park and town of Estes.

We had Pre booked a night, they gave us an upgrade. Good breakfast included, good service, room was in great shape, self service laundry is very limited. Location is not close to downtown so you need to drive for restaurants.

I really love staying here every year, just wish we didn't have to pay upfront and also the cancel days were 3 days ahead of time coming instead of 6 p.m. the day of like other hotels. If you stay in suite you have to cancel one month ahead of time. The price is higher than any other hotel we have ever stayed in too. We stay 15 to 30 days a year at other places and no place has been that high.

Staff was very nice. Room was a nice size with a fireplace, balcony and mountain view. Very pretty. Room was very clean, beds comfy and bathroom size was very nice. Easy to get to and close enough to alot of activities in and out of town. Price was a little on the high side but it was fall fest weekend and the hotels were in high demand.

I usually do not expect much from hotels located near national parks. But, this hotel was a nice surprise for us.The hotel is modern, comfortable and clean. We stayed here for three nights recently and would highly recommend that you consider it for your visit to Estes Park. The hotel is near the town visitor center and a close drive to shops and restaurants in Estes.The layout of the rooms is unusual, so if you need have mobility issues, I suggest talking to the hotel to see how they can accommodate your needs. The hotel staff are helpful and friendly. Our first night at the hotel we were amazed to see elks in the yard behind the hotel. Yes, elks!

Hotel was ok. Only concern was...if you get a handicapped room...be sure you request main building. I had to go outside and walk quite a distance for breakfast. Fun thing...an elk was right outside our room door. Location is very nice for park

Probably would stay again. But the bed was not very comfortable. And the view from our room was the back of an other building. That was disappointing. Estes is such a beautiful place. Every thing else was lovely.

This motel offered easy access to Estes Park, sitting next to the lake and easy highway entry. The staff were friendly. Breakfast was offered in their dining room, but we did not partake. We needed to leave before they started serving. The room was decorated nicely and very clean. No option of pillow type resulting in a sore neck. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to any type of traveler.

Great, friendly welcome. Just what you need after a drive. Rooms were clean, functional and comfortable. Staff were able to help with any questions about the area. one was an ex ranger from the park, so knowledgeable. Breakfast was the usual for this chain, but well cooked and plenty of it. Would recommend this hotel as a base. It is a few minutes drive out of the town, but that is no problem at all. It is close enough to the park to be able to get there as early as you like.

Drove to Estes Park with no reservations or ideas of where to stay. Stoped in to BW to ask about rates and was impressed with the friendly staff at the desk. Really worked hard to fully answer my questions and direct me around town. Room rates were affordable too!

We just got home from Estes Park. I can not say enough about the Best Western Silver Saddle Inn. We had a two king bed room on the third floor with a view. I am incredibly picky and a germ freak. I have never stayed at a nicer, cleaner motel! No detail was missed in designing and maintaining this motel. Even the hallways were pristine. Top quality all the way. The best bed and super comfortable. Staff was incredibly nice, the breakfast room and food were wonderful. Location was great! We will stay here again when we return. Thank you Best Western Plus Silver Saddle Inn for making us so comfortable so that we could enjoy Estes Park. God's Country.

This is a good Best Western. There breakfast I liked and it was a cut above other hotel breakfasts. The room was clean with nice amenities and a comfortable bed and nice pillows. I would stay here if I wanted to get away with friends or was traveling with kids

This hotel is close to the entrance to RMNP. We had a double king room which was roomy and comfy beds. Breakfast had the routine oatmeal, sausage,eggs,waffles. There is a laundry which was useful. There are several resturants in the area but no chain other than McDonalds. It is within 2 blocks of the Stanley Hotel. We just took pictures and visited the gift shop but worth the trip. Safeway grocery is great for deli items and groceries as well as Starbuck coffee. I would stay here again. Trailridge in RMNP is beautiful but not for the faint-hearted.

The Staff was pleasant and helpful but the bed was very uncomfortable and the Hot Tub was not working. It seemed to be somewhat outdated, but the breakfast was up to standard for most of the Best Western Inn's.

Our three night stay turned into 6 because we loved the place that much! Upon arrival, Bill got us checked in quickly, offered us cookies and coffee and let us know he was very knowledgeable of the area and RMNP. We were hungry and tired from our long day of driving so he gave us some great restaurant suggestions. Room faced the back lot on first floor so not much of a view but very private and room was updated and spotless. Breakfast was good and staff was quick to replenish items and very nice as well. I think we saw manager Corey almost ever day around the property and he was always friendly. After our stay we headed to Frisco to our next hotel, but we were honestly so sad to leave Estes Park that we cancelled our stay when we arrived and drove back 2 hrs! I made online reservations and called the hotel right away to make sure we'd have a room. Corey answered and knew it was me right away and said he had a room for us. When we got back he had our keys ready right away and our new room faced the lot but had great sunset view. We felt at home our entire stay. Other things I liked was being able to do our laundry on premises and walk down to the lake every night to watch the elk. Fantastic location, clean updated rooms, amd best staff we've ever encountered. Thank you for making our first visit here so wonderful!

We selected the Best Western Silver Saddle because it was one of the few hotels that would allow us to stay for only one night. We were very happy with our choice! This hotel had amazingly friendly and courteous staff who went out of their way to make us feel welcomed. They were able to switch us to a suite upon arrival, which was perfect for our family. The room was very clean and comfortable with a great view. Would definitely come back!

Great location in the Colorado Rockies, beautiful, clean rooms, friendly staff and easy access to the amenities. The breakfast service is really well done and the dining room is nicely decorated. Our balcony faced the mountains, the view was excellent all day.

This hotel is in an excellent location with a very good view. It is extremely clean and efficiently run by friendly staff. This is our 4th time to stay here and we always enjoy this hotel. We have tried others but keep coming back to this one!

A very nice stay from check in to check out. Check in was fast and smooth. Room seemed to be recently remolded. Hallway looked to have new carpet. The hotel crew was even seen to be cleaning the picture frames on the walls. Pool was on the small size but acceptable. The complimentary breakfast was very good. There was fruit, cereal, oatmeal, yogurt, hard boiled eggs, scrambled eggs, sausage, hash browns, pancakes, bread/muffins, coffee and juice. And yes you are asked, in your room's hotel book, not take breakfast items with you. We were allowed to take our coffee and tea with us. Personnel were all friendly and helpful. Local shuttle stops right out front of the hotel.

We stayed here for two nights on Labor Day weekend. We got it last minute. The man at front desk, Bill, was extremely friendly and helpful. The room was extremely clean and comfortable. We had two queens and four people. The breakfast was more than adequate with hot and cold items. This motel is about 2 miles from Estes Park. Close drive to everything. Would definitely stay here again!

The location of this hotel is perfect. It's away from the hustle and bustle of Estes Park but still very close. The staff is extremely friendly, customer focused and helpful. We were there for five nights, but only had breakfast twice since were out pre-dawn to start some of our longer hikes IN RMNP. Breakfast starts at 6:30AM and it was very good. Housekeeping was excellent and the grounds maintenance was always being attended to, even well into the evening. Everyone here was always pleasant. we will surely stay here again the next time we're in town.

I'm thinking this hotel had a recent makeover. If not, then they're doing very well. I frequently stay in Estes Park before and after backpacking trips in RMNP and the hotels range from bad to a couple of really good places. This is one of the best. The rooms and bathrooms are super clean and very comfortable. I got an extra spacious room because there was nothing else left and there is certainly plenty of room. I'll be staying here again on my next jaunt up to RMNP.

Excellent stay at the Best Western Silver Saddle Inn. Beautiful, immaculate property, quiet, friendly people. After a day of hiking at high altitude, it's a most welcome restful place. Recommended to all.

This hotel is slightly outside of downtown Estes Park, but still close to Rocky Mtn National Park. Excellent, clean, hotel. Breakfast is the nicest we've seen at any hotel (scrambled eggs with cheese, sausage links, mini waffle maker, pancake machine, cereals, yogurt, bagels, etc). My husband said coffee wasn't great. Had cookies in lobby in afternoon. We had a room behind office in it's own little corridor. It was very quiet & comfortable. Had a microwave & refrigerator in room, along with a coffee pot. Front desk staff friendly. (This isn't about the hotel, but just wanted to give some warning-food expensive in Estes Park. $25-30 for a steak or decent meal (per person) other than burgers or sandwiches.) Would stay here again.

Apparently, this establishment has one goal in mind, making money! Customer service is absolute worst we've encountered! Desk staff & manager are giving a HORRIBLE impression of Estes Park to travelers! We're from Colorado & come to Estes Park at least several times per year. We usually stay on the west side of town, where the nicest hotels are located along the beautiful Fall River. This last trip was a total spur of the moment trip & we decided to spend the night. We stopped at this Best Western to book a one night stay, BIG mistake! Because so many hotels were advertising No Vacancy, we decided to book here so we would at least have a room. The whole booking encounter seemed a little strange, but we wanted to make sure we were able to get a room. When we left the office, WE DIDN'T EVEN DRIVE TO THE ROOM, we agreed the whole experience seemed strange and We decided to drive up Fall River where we usually stay & try our luck at finding a last minute vacancy. The most beautiful hotels in Estes Park are located along the beautiful Fall River, Nestled in trees. You really could pick any hotel along the river and be guaranteed to have the absolute best stay! We decided to try our luck & hoped to find a last minute cancellation. While most hotels along the river strip had no vacancy, we lucked out by stopping at Boulder Brook. We were greeted by Susan, who was so warm & friendly, professional & genuinely wanted to accommodate our last minute request! She promptly found us a cabin at their sister property, Streamside on Fall River! The cost for the cutest studio cabin w/ kitchenette & covered patio w/ BBQ grill, lots of privacy, even a hammock, was surprisingly comparable to the Best Western subpar, no view room! The time it took to leave the Best Western (didn't even drive to the room, we knew it had no view) and drove up to the west side & found the beautiful cabin at Streamside on Fall River, was LITERALLY MINUTES! Once Susan told us about the vacancy & told us the rate (surprisingly comparable to the 'nothing special' room @ BW) we immediately called Best Western to cancel our reservation, the experience immediately escalated to unbelievable! Best Western is TRUELY doing a HUGE disservice to the beautiful town of Estes Park! Our POLITE request to cancel our reservation, as we had come up the river & got lucky to find a vacancy, was met with THE NASTYIST customer service we've EVER encountered! Perhaps they were upset that we lucked out & found a cabin? My husband & I both spoke w/ the person who booked the room minutes earlier & also spoke to the manager, WE WERE MET W/ NASTY, MEAN, UNPROFESSIONAL, HORRIBLE treatment! They ABSOLUTELY REFUSED TO CANCEL OUR RESERVATION, even though we had booked it, literally minutes earlier, we knew that they watched us leave the property, as we were parked right in front, we DID NOT EVEN DRIVE TO THE ROOM, we NEVER ENTERED THE ROOM! We immediately left the property and arrived at Boulder Brook minutes later. We have very discerning tastes & good customer service is EVERYTHING! NEVER have we stayed anywhere that did not honor at least 24 hours for cancellation, even Susan, the wonderful helper who found our new cabin, was shocked at the treatment we received and also that they did not offer 24 hours to cancel! The Best Western is painting a horrible picture of the beautiful Estes Park! People please, if you're looking for quiet beauty nestled in the trees, hearing the river, seeing wildlife (we had a resident chipmunk & saw turkeys strolling about), only dollars difference in price mind you, please don't sell yourself short! Skip Best Western and the like! Take the beautiful drive up Fall River and stay! Treat yourself! You may be quite surprised to find that you will pay a comparable amount to stay at a location that is not even CLOSE to being a fraction as nice as a property along the river. I honestly don't see how anyone could possibly give the Best Western a positive rating, those guests have apparently never stayed somewhere better than subpar, low end hotel chains. WHAT THE HECK WERE WE THINKING?! In our effort to find a room, we almost subjected ourselves to what would've surely been the worst hotel experience ever! This place needs Anthony Melchiorri from Hotel Impossible!

I really have to send some praise out for this particular Best Western in Estes Park. My husband used to work for a luxury hotel chain so we were able to stay at high end hotels very cheaply for years. But now, we are on our own and I worried about finding hotels we would be happy with. I've stayed at 3 Best Westerns now and am so pleased with them all! As for this one in particular, the room was spacious, the beds were comfortable, and I was so pleased at how quiet the hotel was. My son enjoyed the pool as well. Having free wifi and breakfast included really adds a great value to this hotel. Customer Service was fantastic here. Our flights into Denver were delayed so I had called to let them know we would be later than expected. The gentleman kindly greeted me by name upon my arrival and let me know he had been keeping an eye out for us, which was so sweet. Every interaction with employees at the front desk was especially pleasant. The icing on the cake was this -- my son had left his iPad charging in the hotel and we forgot it as we checked out of the hotel. They quickly left us a message to let us know that they had it at the desk for us, however, we were without cell phone reception for a few days. Once I had called, they kindly verified our mailing address and shipped it to us via priority mail. It was packaged carefully and arrived safely. Truly very thankful for such great care! THANK YOU BEST WESTERN!!

We were extremely happy with the service. very friendly staff and smiles were abundant. The room which was a family suit was simply amazing. The cleanliness was outstanding. Wonderful updated and family owned business. And breakfast provided was amazing :) It was a full breakfast, no continental breakfast with simply cereal, breads, a few fruits and coffee. This breakfast was a made to order. OUTSTANDING place to stay if in Estes Park, Colorado.

We loved our stay at this place. Our only concern would be how loud the air conditioning unit was but ear plugs helped us work that out. The breakfast was wonderful! The staff was great! The location to Estes Park and RMNP is perfect!

Horrible front desk service! Ratings are not accurate. I switched from another hotel to this one because of the higher customer ratings.. a mistake I will not make again. Breakfast was good, rooms ok - got stuck in the annex building,

it is a really great place to live in. the room is very clean and big.And i think i will bw here agian when i have my next trip. This hotel located near rocky mountain national park, it is really convenient and really close to the entrance. We are really happy to live in here for a great price compared with other inns which are not as good as best western plus.

This was a very nice hotel and was very happy with our stay until we left and I discovered that I had left two sweaters in a drawer there. I called and the first day nothing had been found. Called the second day and 1 sweater has been found which seems very odd to me since they were folded together but one is more expensive than the other so you can guess which one is still missing. I called again the third day and questioned how 1 could be found but not the other. I told them I would wait 24 hrs before posting my review regarding this matter hoping the other one would turn up. Nothing so far and what do you take on vacation but your favorite clothes. I really did like this Best Western and I am a gold member so we do stay a lot with this chain but not very happy at this point with the results of this matter. Hopefully this matter turns out for the better and it was all just a misunderstanding or misplaced somewhere on the property and I will update this review if that happens but at this point I'm still missing a sweater.

After many years staying at the Silver Saddle Inn, it's never disappoints. This is the nicest, cleanest and most we'll run properties we have ever stayed in. The hotel is constantly updating and adding amenities. This year a new breakfast room was enlarged and remodeled and is very well appointed. When Cory and the staff saw us pulling up, we were greeted warmly with our paperwork waiting. If you want to stay at the best in Estes Park, this is the place.

Had a last minute opportunity to go hiking in Rocky Mountain National Park and were able to get a reservation at the Silver Saddle Inn in Estes Park. We had a great experience. The hotel was clean and breakfast very good. I especially want to thank Bill at the front desk for his hiking tips, as we were able to summit Mt Chapin on his advise. All in all, a very nice, family friendly place! Highly recommend!!

My family stayed at the Best Western in Estes Park during our family vacation. I called the hotel on my way to the airport to see if we could get a second floor balcony room and was told that they would see what they could do. No problem. I hung up and within minutes my phone rang. The hotel called me back and said that they had a cancellation and they could accommodate my request but there would be an additional charge. I confirmed that we would now have a room with a balcony and was told yes. I agreed to the additional charge since we would have a balcony. We arrived at the hotel late in evening and had our key taped to the lobby door. When we got to our room there was no balcony. I talked to the front desk the following morning and was told that they never stated that we would have a balcony. My whole family heard the manager say that we would have a balcony since the phone call in my car was on Bluetooth. I honestly could care less if we have a balcony or not, but I am SO upset that I was charged for something I did not receive and lied to. Horrible management and customer service!

Rooms were nice but nothing special. Hit or miss with service when you go to the front desk. You will either get someone amazing to help you or someone who wants you out of there as quickly as possibly. Try to go during off seasons otherwise you will pay quite a bit

My daughter and I stayed here recently for two nights, what a great choice we made, out of the many hotels in Estes Park. The room was beautiful, updated and immaculately clean. The staff was so helpful. The breakfast that is included is a delicious buffet, with hot foods as well as the lighter side. The green chili was amazing. I knew I was in Colorado when I saw green chili on the buffet. A great value for room and breakfast. Will definitely spread the word. Love that the trail to walk around Lake Estes is right around the corner. We took advantage and walked it both days. Elk on the path, beautiful!

Right on interstate 34! Nice welcome from Cory at the desk. We had a room on the first floor tucked back in! Hard to find parking to get comfortably to it! Room was big and comfortable and breakfast had a lot of options! When I first made the reservations I registered for 3 days. I was told that I would be charged for one day, but when my Discover bill came in I was charged for all three days which was $600 some dollars! That is a lot to pay before you get there. So I cancelled three days and only stayed one and got my two days refunded! This I was shocked at the original charge and would be careful in registrating!

We continue to come back to this hotel year after year. The staff are friendly, the breakfasts is great, the rooms are clean and have amazing mountain views. It is very close to the entrance of the Rocky Mountain National Park...very convenient.

Just a few minutes from RMNP, and absolutely spotless. Clean rooms, great service, lovely grounds. I usually stay Marriott or IHG for business, but this BW has me rethinking my choices. Highly recommended.

We stayed here for 3 nights while in Estes Park for a family wedding. The room was clean, large and well cared for. The beds were comfy and housekeeping was accomodating with extra requests. Breakfast was average, the hot items could use some improvement, but overall it was okay. The pool was nice, but got very deep (8' 6" I think) There is a rope where it starts to slope from the 4 foot area, but I was glad I was in the pool with my kids, because a few times they got too close and it dropped quickly.

Was a beautiful hotel, comfortable, clean, and great breakfast. You have to try the breakfast sausage green chilli. Evening check-in gentleman was super kind and helpful. He even tried to call and check on us because we were late. My only complaint is the price.

Pool was nice. It was also great they had a temporary hot tub installed while their permanent one was being renovated. Breakfast was good too. Nice location far enough away from downtown to be out of the traffic but near enough for convenience. The free shuttle bus that stops in from of the Silver Saddle made for convenient runs into EP.

This is a really nice Inn. The breakfast is delicious and the rooms are clean and spacious. The service is great! Ask for Suzie. She'll tell you the best things to do while staying in Estes. She made our trip!

What an unexpected surprise this motel was. I didn't know what to expect from a Best Western in the middle of the mountains but I was pleasantly surprised. Our room was large, spacious and exceptionally clean. The beds were comfortable and the room was updated. The views from our balcony were beautiful. I would definitely stay here again.

My Diamond status wasn't acknowledged at check-in. The rooms were clean, but pretty basic for the price. Parking could be difficult; some of the spots are really too small to accommodate most cars. The location is not within walking distance of downtown or most restaurants. One also has to drive through downtown to get to the National Park, so I wouldn't say it has a great location for the town. When our toilet backed up, I called the front desk and let it ring 20 times times two, and no one answered. I had to personally schlep it up to the front desk, and inform the man there of the problem. I understand that he may have been helping another customer at the time, but the polite thing to do in such circumstances is to pick up the phone and say "I'll be with you in a moment. Could you hold please?". Basically, this is not what I expect when paying over $200 a night for a standard room.

Have stayed here several times and keep coming back. Nice rooms, quiet, well-furnished, clean; staff friendly and helpful; excellent breakfast. A little expensive (Estes is a tourist town) but worth it. Be sure to book in advance during summer season.

I can't say enough good things about this place. Obviously recently refurbished because everything looks new, from the carpet and everything in the bathroom, to the 55 inch Samsung. Fireplace, windows that open, heated pool, free breakfast, what more could you want at the gateway to Rocky Mountain Park? Incredible views from the balcony of our 2nd floor room. I'll be back!

Although the style of the exterior reflects the age of the hotel, it has been updated. We had a wonderful stay for 2 nights. The staff are very friendly, the room was clean & comfortable, the views incredible, location was convenient. Will definitely stay here again!

We loved this hotel! It has a great outdoor pool. The breakfast was wonderful! Lots of options. Management was so helpful and friendly with all our questions about Estes park. The beds were very comfortable-- and room was so clean. The fridge even has a separate freezer. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here! Would definitely stay here again!

BW Plus do a very nice job.this hotel has been updated and in good condition. The staff at the BW Plus are all very helpful and go out of their way to provide good service. I would recommend this to others

This BW is very close to the eastern entrance of Rocky Mountain National Park. There is easy access to park shuttles. Breakfast was very good. The bed was great. The room rates seemed to be a little high, but the breakfast compensated for the difference.

All I can say is my overall experience was great the staff was very nice and the breakfast was really good. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that was wanting to go to Estes Park for a fun getaway.

Bring your own pillow because this place seems to only have hard and big pillows. Walls are thin especially for sound transfer from upper level guests to your room. So recommend to run the HVAC all night for white noise. Breakfast is average. Location is convenient all around the lake, so you can take a walk along the road path. Clean hotel rooms. But just not the great experience you might expect for the $$$ paid

This hotel is close to town, has spectacular mountain views, a very helpful service staff, comfortable beds and a free breakfast.I recommend this hotel for anyone who needs a convenient, comfortable place to stay in Estes Park.

This is an amazingly clean well taken care of hotel motel we were very impressed with every aspect including the staff we will definitely recommend you to anyone traveling into Estes great location easy to get into town and like you said a lot of pride in this place

My family and I stay at hotels all of the time and I have never been treated so rudely by a front desk person. Traveling with small kids can be a challenge and he could have cared less. I will not be staying at a best western anytime soon.

I honestly wasn't excited about staying in a hotel with outdoor corridors - it had been along time since we stayed in a hotel like that. However; I was pleasantly surprised. Our unit was newer and had plenty of space.

The staff was very helpful for hikes at the park and for restaurants in town. The hotel was in a great location with beautiful views. We really enjoyed the breakfast including the waffles and pancakes.

Very comfortable room, good location, and perfect place for looking at Rocky Mountain National park. The breakfast was very good and included Hot items and fresh fruit. The other items came along with the breakfast.

We just spent 6 nights at the Best Western in Estes Park, CO. The hotel is in a great location and has wonderful views of the mountains. The room was very clean and the beds very comfortable. Their continental breakfast was always good, and they kept it well stocked and very clean. Every member of their staff I came in contact with was extremely nice and helpful. We would without a doubt stay here again.

We found this hotel two years ago and stayed 1 night, this time we stayed 3 nights. They have a very caring staff, they take pride in their work! All were polite and clean, clean, clean. Very accommodating! Only drawback, if there really was one, would be that it's not quite close enough to town for me.

Very impressed with the friendliness of the staff. Impressed with the comfort of bed, the decor and bathroom are outdated but overall very good room in Estes Park. Breakfast room was very nice, clean and plenty of seating. Good choice of foods, especially the fresh fruit! Since purpose of visit was to go to RMNP, this was an excellent location and good place to put up your feet!

Most places were already booked so we chose to stay at this Best Western, which is not normally my first choice when travelling. However, we were very impressed with the quality, cleanliness and comfort of the entire hotel. The price was affordable. The hotel was within reach to all that Estes has to offer. And a huge plus was the patio attached to our room. We could sit out on this patio and find a beautiful view of the Rocky Mountains. Our patio also overlooked the children's playground. We could sit comfortably on the patio while the kids played below. I can only highly recommend this property.

We had an excellent experience here with beautiful mountain views from the balcony! Very clean, easy check in and check out. The staff was really friendly and we enjoyed the free breakfast. I would definitely stay again :)

We stayed here 2 nights while we visited Rocky Mountain National Park. It was a great location near all the shops & restaurants in Estes Park and about 4 miles from the entrance to the park. We had a beautiful room on the second floor in the back with a patio overlooking the snow capped mountains. The room was spacious, clean and had a stone fireplace. The outdoor heated pool was lovely; a nice way to relax after visiting the park! Would highly recommend this hotel if in the area.

I mistakenly double-booked two hotel stays in two different parts of the state. Since a military family member recently returned to Colorado Springs, we wanted to keep the reservation down there. Noticing, at the last minute, the reservation was still not cancelled, I contacted this hotel willing to pay a one night penalty, for my mistake. The General Manager would not budge and is charging my account for the full stay amount. I understand the importance of policies. I work in a field that evaluates and proposes compromise daily. I travel a good bit and as a result I will not EVER book or stay at a Best Western hotel, in the future. Thanks for nothing, Best Western Silver Saddle!

Our family of seven stayed in a suite at the Silver Saddle. It had 3 queen beds, a small sitting area, a kitchenette, and was nice and clean. Enjoyed watching elk roaming around on a neighboring property.

Nice sized rooms, well-maintained, faultlessly clean, very comfortable bedding that seemed new. Very quiet (lower floor on back). Parking was never a problem there. Very good breakfast. Staff was all very nice, friendly, had good recommendations for local restaurants. I'd stay there again.

We always enjoy our relaxing and professional stay at the Silver Saddle Best Western in Estes Park, Colorado. The rooms are always clean and relaxing. The breakfast and hot and the dining room is keep tight. We enjoy putting up our feet and relaxing on the balcony over looking the beautiful Rocky Mountains after a hard days work at the Estes Park Wool Market each year.

There was a mix up in reservations and the manager displayed a poor attitude in trying to resolve the problem. Also he was observed to be unaccommodating to an elderly couple that requested a ground level room due to an obvious disability. His poor attitude overshadowed any enjoyment we could have experienced.

This hotel has been remodeled and they did a first rate job. For a hotel breakfast, they had good variety. They even had a pancake making machine. The room was very clean, no car parking in front so it was quiet, and the view was wonderful. The staff gave restaurant reviews that were informative. This is a seasonal resort area so expect to pay more than usual.

Great location in Estes Park. Convenient to Rocky Mountain National Park. Breakfast had many selections. The staff was helpful with directions. Our room was very comfortable. Coffee was available in the room. There is also a coin operated laundry for guests.

My family recently stayed at the Best Western Plus in Estes park Colorado. Mr. Cory Blackman was very helpful and informative. He checked us in and gave us points and tips for our trip. The breakfast was wonderful !!! Our room was very clean and my boys loved the pool. Location was very close to town abt 1 mile or so from downtown. I would recommend this hotel.

Very clean and updated. Great location and entrance to Rocky Mountain National Park. Very Quiet. Beds are very comfortable. This is a very good choice for a family stay. The room includes a full hot breakfast saving the cost of a meal.

Very nice hotel in a great location. The room was very nicely furnished and comfortable. Probably one of the best BW's I have stayed at over the years. Highly recommend staying here if visiting the Rockies.

Basic hotel with luxury prices. Good breakfast and helpful staff. Many rules for guests to follow. Was disappointed with amenities overall. Had to block out light from front window. Hot tub broken.. Host and hostess helped with tourist information.

The customer service was top notch and the rooms are super clean and spacious, we stayed 4 in a room with two king size beds and it was perfect. Everything is very close to drive to. The coffee and free breakfast was an extra bonus. Ample parking and quiet space.

Nice clean hotel rooms very small bathroom but still clean. no place to eat if you arrive looking for a meal but there are places round about you can travel too. The main point is that the rooms were clean

From check in to check out, the entire experience at this motel was great. Comfortable, spacious room and beds, terrific view of the mountains, friendly staff. Only thing lacking was green tea, which I'm accustomed to having @ breakfast. No deal breaker- the breakfast was always good and well staffed. Very well run hotel.
