Lighthouse Suites, BW Signature Collection

I'm all about clean and location. This hotel gets the highest rating on both. I'm a Diamond Select member of BW and I have to say this hotel deserves its premiere title. Best Western overall is getting to be A better quality stay then most on its class and I believe it has one of the better loyalty programs.

This has to the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The bed is comfy and the staff are amazing. Short walk to beach. We will definitely return. Diana (I believe this was her name) at the front desk was so kind, friendly and accommodating - big shout out to her. She definitely made us feel right at home.

Thank you, Lighthouse, for making my son's 3rd birthday extra special! He was thrilled with the toy cars and absolutely loved the cake. He's still talking about our trip to the Outer Banks! Our king suite was cozy and comfortable, and the continental breakfast offered a nice variety of options, which we really enjoyed. This hotel is incredibly family-friendly. A special shoutout to Diane, who was so kind to my son- we truly appreciated her above and beyond service!<3:)

Pulled in Late at night. Hotel was well lit. Front clerk was very Friendly and courteous. Booked a 2 Queen suite and it was very spacious. Beds and pillows were soo comfortable we could have stayed in bed and lounged all vacation. Convenient location to beach and our destination. Had expected a fresh cooked breakfast like other Best Westerns. But it was still good with a lot of Variety. Great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved our weekend stay! Room very large, seating area very comfortable. King bed was firm, but in a good way. Very nice bedding, so comfy and smelled so nice. The bathroom is huge, oversized shower with extra jets. Room was clean, bright, smelled really nice. Entire hotel decor is very pleasant and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely return in future. Only a few negatives, the fridge in our room made annoying rumbles all night. We had no hand soap in bathroom, but I had a travel bar in my bag. The breakfast is lacking, it's mostly bagels, pop tarts, yogurt and microwave sandwiches. The coffee machine is really nice and makes delicious coffee. Overall this a great hotel in a beautiful location !

The lobby smelled so good on arrival. There was a sweet lady named Mary mopping the area. She does a great job & is very pleasant to talk with. Mary is also knowledgeable about the area & history of the Inn. She is an exemplary young lady. The rooms were clean& beds comfortable.

This is really great boutique inn. The rooms are very clean and really very cozy. Bathroom area is great and very bright. The lady who is in charge of our room has been great and friendly. Each morning as we leave for the day she has ask if our rooms are good and what do we need! Breakfast choices are small but adequate. Waffles are a change from only pancakes. Inn is within a lot of eateries and shopping.

What a delightful experience we had at the Lighthouse Suites in Emerald Isle! The hotel is clean and efficient and its decor. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and stay again.

This is our third stay at the Lighthouse Inn and they didn't disappoint. The moment we stepped into our immaculate suite, we felt at home. The staff was friendly, attentive and provided great service. While not beach front, it is close proximity to the beach which we enjoyed as well. Me and my family stayed her for the weekend in October 2024 and were amazed at this hotel! The hotel was spotless, the front desk workers made you feel like family, and the location was awesome. I would recommend staying at Lighthouse Suites!

The staff was wonderful. Texted me to make I was ok and still gonna arrive on time. The room was great. The bed was so comfy and after a long drive, I was able to relax without a problem. Breakfast the next morning was a great start to the day!! The views from the room and around the hotel were absolutely amazing! Beach was within walking distance. A nice breeze, and all the people were very welcoming! Will definitely go back for another stay very soon!!

The place is very clean quiet had no trouble parking close to all the restaurants and grocery store perfect location .Breakfast was good The pool was closed but it was raining anyway ..The front desk guy was very helpful and friendly gave me directions to different restaurants with great instructions and which restaurant to try with us being new to the area but everything was great ….we will return when checking out the staff was friendly I would recommend this hotel !!!!

The room is very nice, large with a bedroom and separate living room, very clean. Location is excellent. Emerald Isle is a beautiful spot, pristine and family oriented, with multiple water activities, beautiful beaches and trails, great for walking on the beach, fishing, water sports, walking on forest trails.

Always a great experience with this hotel. The staff is wonderful. The setup of rooms are good. Love the separate bedrooms and the beds are phenomenal. The bathrooms are nice and the showers are fantastic. Always enjoy our stay each time we visit.

This was our fourth stay at the Lighthouse. The hotel was clean as it has always been. Courteous and knowledgeable staff to handle and attend to our needs. Very quiet location. Hotel lobby very clean and all amenities worked perfectly in the room. Bed was firm but not too firm. Room was very clean.

Entire staff were kind, friendly and accommodating! Room was spacious, clean and comfortable. Short walk to the beach! Impressed by the breakfast bar…. everything was individually boxed/wrapped and waffles with fruit were yummy! Would definitely recommend!

The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed during our stay. The rooms are extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable I would like to have it at home 😊 Location is nice as we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. I enjoyed sitting by the pool relaxing and reading my book in the sun. We will definitely be staying again.

Just a real cozy and wonderful room. Staff were super friendly. Everything smelled clean in the whole hotel. Great location for a weekend away. Breakfast was quick and painless. Quick little 10 minutes wander to the beach for ones beach needs.

The customer service is exceptional. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the rooms are spacious. It was a short walk to the public beach access point and passed coffee and pizza on your way. Basic continental breakfast included. Sufficient parking for our vehicle and a quick drive to grocery and activities. Sadly the pool was out of commission for our stay but those things are beyond our control. I would absolutely stay here again!

This hotel is my all-time favorite. This was my second stay. It's clean, cozy and modern. Your staff is just as amazing as the accommodations. The two that I remember by name is Diana and Mary. Please thank Diana for taking our picture for your wall. This made us feel special!

We had a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Inn. The rooms were super clean, spacious, upgraded and tastefully decorated. And, all within a couple minutes walk to the beach. Small hotel with an elevator which was a plus. Complimentary breakfast was decent as well. Great stay!

I had an incredible experience at this hotel for my son's 12th birthday weekend. The hospitality was exceptional—the hotel clerk surprised my son with a birthday cake and sang "Happy Birthday," creating a memory he will cherish forever. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and there was so much to do in the surrounding area. Overall, it was a wonderful stay and made my son's birthday truly special. Highly recommend!

Possibly the cleanest hotel I have stayed at! Location is great for shopping and a short walk to the beach - and no dealing with the traffic on the island. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free and safe parking. Suites have a separate living room and bedroom and large bathroom.

Always clean and staff always seeks to provide the very best stay! We love coming here 3-4 times each year. It is close to the beach and businesses we visit and just a short walk to enjoy the ocean. Anytime we've needed anything the staff has done their very best to help.

We were only there for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was extremely clean, and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The suite was a very nice size and had a small fridge and coffee maker. It's in a great location. They had a convenient pantry for grabbing a bottle of water if you needed one.

The hotel as a whole was very clean, room was super clean! The staff was so nice and helpful with any questions we had or anything we needed. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast is small but you do have several options, including waffles. This hotel is only about a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. We had the pool pretty much to our self. Rooms were clean and it was a quiet and family oriented place. Wish the TVs were a little more updated but it was great stay. My grandson loved the pool and all was extra clean. We would definitely stay again.

The Lighthouse Inn is a short walk to the beach and they have a large pool. The hotel room was a good size with a large sitting area with a sofa, chair and tv. The bedroom was spacious and also had a tv. The room was clean and comfy. Many restaurants are close by. Continental breakfast was included.

Comfortable beds, everything smells new and clean, great breakfast with many options, and excellent location with only 7 minute walk to the beach. Beachy vibe decor, our 2-queen bed suite was simple and perfect. Great shower, fridge was nice for snacks and leftovers. Pool was great. Staff were friendly!

This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The pool was small but never busy and very clean. Not very far from the beach you can walk to it or drive down to the paid parking lot. The breakfast is a little more than your standard continental breakfast and it does end at 9:30 am. They always had fresh coffee out. The beds were comfy and pillows too. Would definitely stay here again

Beds were comfy but high. Plenty of room in the suite to spread out. Water pressure was good. Quiet area at night. Breakfast area was clean, open and inviting. Used the area to play games later in the day. Staff were always available and courteous. Convenient walk to the beach and a quick trip to Publix and restaurants.

Great place to stay on Bogue Banks/in Emerald Isle. Friendly staff, great location, “new feeling.” Reasonably priced, clean, breakfast included makes it a great alternative to renting a worn-out house. Walk to the beach, or shopping and eating, and kid attraction. Highly recommend and will be back!

Wonderful stay - wish it could have been longer, but was on business. Every detail attended too from service to room to amenities to breakfast to the staff! And very reasonable rate for this time of year. Security and overall appearance and condition of the property was five-star! I would recommend this location to anyone going to the coast. I described my experience has extraordinary. It is the cleanest hotel I've ever been in!!! The attention was amazing, the space of our room was great, the bathroom was impeccable, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. 10/10. I highly recommend you this incredible hotel.

We found everything at Lighthouse Suites to be beautiful, pleasant, and clean. The room was nicer than I had expected and very comfortable. The only negative I could say is the room did not have a full length mirror to check yourself before leaving the room. The hotel is not large it is a mid-sized hotel (in my estimation) which created a calm and peaceful environment. This is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. The staff was very nice and quickly attended to any request made. Each one of the staff we encounter exuded southern charm. The owner was extremely nice, and helpful to give recommendations for accessing the beach, directions to The Point (a recommended site for viewing the sunset), and The Pier (restaurants where you can sit outside to eat while viewing the ocean). He took the time to talk with us answering our questions and even explained some history of the island. My daughter had a birthday during our 5 night stay and the owner / staff went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. Also, Sunday was Mothers day and one of the staff members came into the dining area at breakfast carring a bouquet of red roses. She greeted every woman and gave each a rose. I highly recommend this lovely and charming hotel. I can't wait to visit again.

Beautiful peaceful place... the best home away from home feeling when you come thru the doors...rooms are super spacious... bathroom is awesome... pillows are a lil to soft for my comfort but that's my opinion... will visit again

My wife and I got the deluxe king and it was amazing! We decided to take a last minute trip to the coast and it's a short walk from the beach and there is plenty to do. My wife and I loved and and if we are back in the area will definitely stay again! Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

My sister and I needed a place to stay while passing through on a road trip, and we couldn't have found a better place! Everything was quite & quaint. We're use to staying at big hotels/resorts but it was for only 1 day so we chose something smaller & this was perfect. Not being oceanfront didn't even bother me at all as I usually go oceanfront at beach. The quietness was nice for a change. Might consider a weeks vacation here. I didn't like that it does not have a gym , pool was small & my pillow was a little on hard side but nothing that would keep me from coming back.

The staff could not have been any more perfect. The place is immaculately clean. When we asked to be moved to a king size bed, they were very accommodating. I highly highly highly recommend this place. It is close to the ocean as well. The breakfast was great.

I had a two night stay in March 2024. The Lighthouse Suites are super clean and they look brand new! The staff is friendly and accommodating! They offered me an umbrella and extra towels to dry off chairs being used in a wedding. Thank you!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Lighthouse Suites is a small, quaint, very clean, comfortable and welcoming place. This place is in the middle of the tourist section of Emerald Isle with many different venues and restaurants near by that are within walking distance. The staff was polite, friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we are happy with our stay. I would recommend staying here when you are looking for a place to stay.

This is one of the best places I've stayed. Everything is so new and fresh and absolutely beautiful! The rooms were very nice with comfy beds and pillows. I can't wait to bring the whole family out in the near future. It was a very relaxing stay.

The bed is so comfortable! Everything was wonderful. But the best part was the staff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Any time I had a question, the staff was so happy to help. One of the staff even remembered me from my last visit! I liked that. The facility was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast offerings were great!

I am really pleased with this stay! BW may be a budget hotel, but this felt like a boutique spot. It was relatively small overall, but the rooms were a great size. Ours had two TVs, microwave, small fridge, couch, accent chair and renovated bathroom. I've paid more for hotel rooms that were *far less* nice. We only stayed one night, but it was a really nice getaway. Everything looked clean, the breakfast was small but had a good number of options and the staff was friendly. It's also about a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute drive from the pier.

Everything was clean, fresh, and modern. Very pleasant staff. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood setting. Definitely recommend. Breakfast consists of cold options, heat-n-eat choices, packaged pastries and waffles. I went to Publix down the street for a stash of fresh fruit.

very nice place to stay, build in 2022 the Hotel is worth an extended in the future. Quick check-in, ample parking, public beach access in walking distance. Wifi is fast and breakfast offers a good selection to get a good start into the day.

The BW Lighthouse Inn and Suites is an excellent hotel. The spacious rooms were decorated simply and lovely. This was the very first time I did not feel compelled to use sanitizing wipes in a hotel room! Everything was super clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft. The sitting area was perfect for reading and having a snack with the help of the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The breakfast was excellent because healthy options were provided. You can't beat a fresh fruit cup every morning and a sunny clean dining area! You can't have an excellent hotel without an above average staff! Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return and will recommend this hotel to others.

Staff was very accommodating. They truly wanted to be sure we felt welcomed and had everything we needed. From attentiveness at breakfast, to the bikes we signed out for a ride around the island. We will be back for sure.

The hotel was very accommodating. We extended our vacation and we needed a hotel room for a few days. Diana at the front desk was most helpful and applied our room to our Best Western account and got us a room right away as one was ready and it was off season. The hotel was lovely, clean and smelled good too. The room was spacious and was decorated beautifully. The breakfast area was clean and the breakfast was very good.

Best Stay in Emerald Isle This has become our home away from home. The rooms are light, airy and comfortable. Located steps away from the beach and shops! Now about the service - this is one of the the best is southern hospitality. Diana and Mary will take very good care of you - trust me! They are very friendly and really strive to make your stay perfect. They are simply good people ❤️ Yes, there are plenty of things to do and great restaurants, food trucks, beach concerts, etc. but the best is to just relax and enjoy your stay. Kindness goes a long way!

This is probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, and the staff were all fiendly and professional staff. Okay reason for not giving five stars is that all of the pillows were too fluffy - need some firm ones in the room, too.

Got early check in fromDianna, she gave me a gift because of my Diamond Elite status too. Great staff, bed and pillows were so good, I slept very well. Very clean Hotel, with good coffee and breakfast. Great location to beach and seafood restaurants. Nice pool too. I highly recommend!

Great spot! We had a wonderful stay during Labor Day weekend. Easy access to the beach. Stag. Was cordial and kind. Easy access to other restaurants and amenities. Didn't feel crowded. And the beach was spot on.

The accommodations are very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location is right on Emerald Drive after you come across the bridge. The separate living room had a TV , fridge, microwave and Keurig for coffee. For those who aren't ready to go to bed it provides an area to stay up and keep from disturbing the sleepers. The self serve continental breakfast was perfect for our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is extremely clean and very family friendly. The staff is great. Ms Donna on the night shift is the best. She made the family feel like we were staying at one of our relatives. She gave us tips on were to eat and things to do. We were playing cards in the breakfast area when Ms Donna brought over goody bag she decorated by hand. The next morning on of the guest turned 8 and there was a goody for her with staff member Dianna had Happy Birthday playing in the breakfast area. I heard the Ms Donna decorated the bag and even pays for the fancy ribbons herself. The bag is filled with snacks the hotel provides. The bags are such a nice and friendly gesture The room are very spacious even for a family of four adults. The hotel is two blocks from the beach and a water park is across the street. We will return

The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was beyond amazing. It was my daughter's 8th birthday and when Dianna from the front desk found out, she went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special. She put a birthday song on the speaker at breakfast so everyone could sing to her and then even gave her a little gift in a very cute hand decorated bag. Not only did this make my daughter's day, but I was in tears just out of the pure generosity everyone showed. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in area. You will not be disappointed.

Our room was great! The room was big, the bed was super cozy, and the view was perfect! The bathroom was AMAZING, particularly the shower. The BEST shower EVER! There was a rain shower water head and 4 jets….all I can say is WOW! The continental breakfast was perfect! The front desk staff were very pleasant and inviting. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will continue to go back.

My family and myself stayed here on 9/15 for our anniversary. Beautiful and clean . It's not too far from beach. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. Rooms was clean and smell nice. Hotel was a good deal if you looking for somewhere nice close to the beach and like 30 minutes away from the aquarium.

This is a wonderful up-scale Best Western property. We loved the 2-room suites with a2 TVs ( one in the bedroom and one in the living room area). The hotel is a short walk to the beach and to shops. There is a Waterpark next to the hotel. The hotel staff was gracious and very helpful. I only have two complaints. We could not enjoy coffee in our room. The cord to the coffee maker was too short to reach the outlet. We had to move it to the coffee table, but even after plugging it in, we could not get it to work. My other issue was the breakfast. We appreciated that the hotel offered breakfast, but I was a bit disappointed with the selection. I expected at least a few hot options such as eggs and bacon. Unfortunately the only options were prepackaged breakfast bowls and sandwiches, prepackaged muffins and yogurt. There is only one microwave in the breakfast area, so a line quickly forms as people had to wait to heat up their microwave breakfast. Despite those two minor issues, we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel very close to the beach.

This hotel is conveniently located on Emerald Isle. I was pleasantly surprised to see the room has a cozy sitting area with a tv, as well as a tv in the separate bedroom. All stays include breakfast, something for everyone - hot & cold cereal, pop tarts, bagels, croissant sausage egg & cheese, granola bars... AND our room was very clean!

We arrived early and our room was ready! We were delighted to see some roses, heart shaped towel and Happy 30th Anniversary sign on our bed. Dianna was just delightful. From check in and throughout our entire stay. She even put avocado toast on the breakfast continental breakfast choices since we talked about it. Our room was clean with nicely updated furnishings. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. She recommended a great place for lunch and just made sure we didn't need anything. We met the owners in the morning and they were so nice and friendly. They recommended another Best Western in the area we were traveling to next. We will stay here again and highly recommend. This location is close to grocery stores, shops and restaurants.

The appearance of the building as you arrive was simply awesome. It fits the area just perfectly. Once inside you feel as if you are at a five star resort. The staff was engaging but not bothersome and ready with any assistance we needed. The room was simple but nicely arranged and color coordinated. Clean doesn't come close to describing how "clean" this place is. The bed was loaded with extremely white comfortable pillows, sheets and spreads. The mattress was a little to soft for me, but I never sleep good away from my bed at home. The owner, Jerry and I had a very nice conversation and found that we have some friends in common. I felt wolcomed and the experience couldn't have been better. Will gladly stay again when back in Emerald Isle.

Started out with a poor experience by trying to book on air b n b and reservation was never accepted/ignored. Called the hotel though and the experience was very positive - spoke to Jerry (the same person hosting the air b n b listing) and he guided me to booking the best room to meet my needs. The staff on site were both very pleasant - and most importantly, the room met my requests of being quiet & spacious and it was very clean. The towels are served in bags, the toilet paper/tissues/cups/etc. could use an upgrade - but for what it is, this property delivered very well and we would return.

Lovely boutique hotel! Friendly, accommodating staff. They worked with me a little on my rate, as I had just ditched my previous hotel b/c it was nasty and had bugs and no way I could sleep there. Hotel is very clean, suites are spacious, continental breakfast is fine....all I really cared about was good coffee. Bed is extremely comfortable. Quite, relaxing and lovely place to stay

This place filled our needs just right. It was very clean, the breakfast was good. This location was perfect to all the places that were on my list of things to see and do. Staff was nice and knowledgeable about places to see and where to eat. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, depending on your age, you could do it faster. The grounds were clean, and looked well kept. Would love to visit the area again, and would definitely stay here again.
