I am so glad we finally got to stay with Lighthouse Suites. We had a wonderful stay. The hotel is clean, neat, and guest oriented. We arrived close to 10p and the front door was locked and I had to press a bell for access inside. I LOVE this safety feature for the guest's! The entire staff we encountered were friendly and informative. And the owner of the hotel made omelets for his guests. The beach is a short walk away. And anything you may want is close by. Oh I should also add the beds are so comfortable!! I love that BW is revamping!!

Exceeded all expectations! Clean, convenient, and super cute! I chose to book here because the reviews were really good, and clearly they have earned every one of them. They take pride in their property and work hard to make sure everyone has a great experience! Jerry checked me in. He was professional, efficient, and kind. Diane was there the next morning… She was wonderful! She helped me understand the area and where I wanted to go. She knew where I should park. She knew where I should walk to get to the spot that I wanted on the beach. She knew I was going to a secluded area and I was nervous so she even texted to check on me to make sure I was OK. I can't say enough good! I would definitely book here again! And I'm very picky…

The suites are fantastic, the King Executive has a fabulous full walk-in shower and soaker tub combo, with Jack and Jill vanity in the bathroom. The location is prime due to quiet area yet walking distance to beach, shops and restaurants. Highly recommend!!

Excellent service, very friendly staff, rooms are nice and clean. The sitting area is a nice touch. It is a walkable distance from the beach without crossing any main road, and a beautiful beach access. Diane was extremely helpful and friendly throughout our entire stay.

This is a literally a box hotel. I was there while visiting family nearby. Clean. One day my tv modem was not working and was quickly rectified. Pool is a postage stamp but there is a water park next door (I never heard noise from the park in my room - though I was on the side on the opposite side of the hotel). This hotel has a reputation for its friendly staff and I found that to be 100% accurate.

Stayed here 3 nights for a trip to Emerald Isle in August 2026. There were 3 of us, including my 3yo son. Loved the suite set up as my son could sleep in his pack and play in the living room area and my husband and I could stay in the bedroom. Room was extremely clean and well-stocked. We did hear some noise from the hall and the room next to ours, but it wasn't too bad. Our room had an Oceanview which was nice, though it did mean we were over the pool and had some light coming in from that while trying to sleep, not too bad though. Bed was comfortable, shower was great, and we had plenty of room in the suite. Breakfast was great. Mostly basic items like toast, bagels, cereal, fruit, yogurt and a few microwavable sandwiches. They did have some special breakfasts 2 days that we were there: avocado toast and omelettes made to order. They had high chairs available in the breakfast room which is really great if you are travelling with small kids. Location was wonderful. Took us about 10 minutes to walk to the beach (probably more like 5 minutes if you aren't walking with a toddler). The public beach access nearby has showers and bathroom facilities which was nice and kept us from having to walk back to the hotel covered in sand (the hotel also has a foot wash station available). Very close to area restaurants and stores. We are already planning our trip here for next year. We loved our experience and my son hasn't stopped talking about the hotel since we left.

My husband had some business to attend to in Stella & we usually stay with friends. But, since one trip was last minute we decided to stay here for one night. So glad we did! Now, we have returned again for 2 nights. Easy walk to the beach, with so many great places to eat in very close proximity. Their focus is on your comfort and satisfaction. The staff was awesome. Informative, went above & beyond to be helpful. I left a special pillow & Amari & Diana made sure I got it mailed to me quickly. Diana even went on her own time to UPS to get it shipped. Diana also gave some really good recommendations for places to eat and things to do. Also, the rooms were clean, spacious and comfortable. The location was perfect with easy entry & exits. I would definitely recommend this hotel. You won't be sorry.

Have stayed a few times. Breakfast is always fresh, this last time had made to order omelets. Pool is small but refreshing after a day on the beach.

The hotel was really clean and the staff was super nice. They even gave us a gift for our anniversary, which was really sweet. They had nice breakfast options and just a quick walk to the beach as well! We had a great time!

The hotel changed my reservation on their end. Both Expedia and I believed I would be staying from June 21st - 23rd; however, the LightHouse Suites decided I would be staying from the 22nd - 24th. When I arrived on the 21st, they were fully booked, even though I had arranged my reservation in early February. They sent me down the street to the Hampton Inn and Suites. The internet did not work in the hotel room - only the lobby. The breakfast was fantastic and the amenities were nice.

The hotel was quiet, clean and conveniently placed! It was next door to a water park and within walking distance from restaurants and go carting. The people are polite and very accommodating. Breakfast was included which saved our family at least $100 per day.

Visited Emerald Isle for the first time and booked this hotel based on on-line reviews. The hotel did not disappoint! We booked the executive king room; the room was exceptionally clean and well appointed. The bathroom was huge with two sinks. The shower had a combination rain water shower head as well as four jets. In addition there was a separate bath tub. The king bed was comfortable as was the couch and chairs. There was also a desk and chair in the room. Hotel location worked well for us; the beach access was a quick 5 minutes walk or drive. There is a parking lot that charges $5/hour or $30/day from 8am-8pm and closes at sunset. Breakfast featured a variety of breakfast sandwiches, cereals and breads as well as a waffle maker. We were lucky to have a made to order omelet during their guest appreciation weekend. Will definitely book this gem again! Love this hotel and Emerald Island!

The location of this hotel was perfect. It was only an easy ten minute walk to get onto the sand. The employees were very nice, walking us outside to show us how to get to the beach and letting us know about restaurant options. The hotel is clean and welcoming. The continental breakfast was wonderful, with lots of options for food, juice, coffee, etc. The bedding was clean and comfortable and the thermostat was easy to use. The shower had hot water and good pressure. The only downside was that the TV did not work in the sitting area. I would highly recommend this hotel.

This hotel is absolutely beautiful the cleanliness is top notch. The customer service and staff is nothing short of amazing. Ms. Mary and Ms. Diane ensured our stay was great home away from home. The Lighthouse Suites must be the top- rated hotel in Emerald Isle! The location is fabulous - just a short walk to the beach. The members of the staff were amazing! Each person was kind, knowledgeable and served in a joyful manner. Our room was spacious, cleaned with excellence, spacious and very comfortable. The mattresses and pillows must be new because they were super comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed breakfast each morning. The breakfast area was thoroughly stocked with various options to appeal to any diet. We were fortunate to have the owner, Jerry, onsite cooking delicious omelets. It was my birthday and I was celebrated in such a fun and memorable way. I highly recommend that your next stay in Emerald Isle be with the Lighthouse Suites!

We are repeat visitors to Lighthouse Suites in Emerald Isle NC for good reason. When we arrive in the evening, Diane at the front desk accommodates us by placing a package in the freezer for us. After waking up refreshed in a cheery and immaculate room with a comfortable bed, we are greeted at breakfast by Dianna with a warm smile and curiosity about our incoming day. The highlight is followed by owner and host Jerry who personally prepares your customized omelet. This property has 25 rooms and it feels like you are personally being catered to during your stay here. I am looking forward to my next visit soon.

This was our first trip to Emerald Isle and wasn't sure where to stay. The Lighthouse Suites had good reviews and it did not disappoint. The location was excellent and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Out of season rates were very reasonable and the atmosphere was welcoming and inviting. We felt very safe and the friendly staff added to a most wonderful weekend!

We stayed for one night in December 2025 after urgently needing a room on Emerald Isle. I had called in advance and asked if we could get a suite to check in before the normal check in time, and they said yes. When we arrived around 2 PM, the attendant remembered our call. We quickly got into a suite on the ground floor. It was impeccably clean and quite large! We just needed to de-camp for the night so we could leave for home in the morning. We spent time in the living area reading and watching TV. For dinner, we drove just across the street to get sandwiches at Publix. The beds were extremely comfortable and the hotel itself was very nice and quiet. Some small concerns with the room that were not deal breakers, but important to know: When the shower runs, the sound of the water in the bedroom is quite loud. Similarly, when the air or heat comes on, it's loud. They are more like white noise than anything, but it is noticeable. The TVs are not of the best quality and the sound is not great. Other than these minor things, the room was very comfortable and the right size for a family of three. Because we needed to leave so early we did not take full advantage of the breakfast but grabbed some bagels, cereal, and muffins to go, which were perfectly fine. I can imagine this place being very popular in the summer as it is so clean and friendly. Would definitely come back to visit again.

We have stayed here before and decided this was the best place to stay for the Tucker/Southern beach wedding. We had seven rooms and all of our family and friends commented that this was the best hotel they had ever stayed in. The complimentary breakfast had a wide selection, and on this stay, Jerry was making delicious omelets for customer appreciation days. The hotel team works hard to keep the hotel clean and makes sure you have an enjoyable stay.

Lighthouse Suites was a great find in Emerald Isle! Love the location, very clean, comfortable bed, gigantic bathroom and the staff was friendly and helpful. They have a list printed for restaurants with non summer hours. You can get an early check in from 1-3hrs for $25 and if you need a late check out past 11am you can stay till 1 for $25. They also have a continental breakfast daily. You're about a 5-6 minute walk to the beach or you can drive down and park.

I love this hotel — especially Diana and Christian! They are very nice people, easy to talk to, and they really know their guests. They always take the time to entertain you, answer your questions, and help with anything you need. Tabitha was also wonderful! Even though I only spoke with her over the phone when I booked our room, she was so helpful and kind. The manager is super cool too. She explained everything clearly and even found us another room so we could extend our stay without any hassle. Whenever we needed something, she personally took the time to help me and my husband. The guy who cooks the fresh omelettes is also very friendly! The room was perfect — spacious and clean. If you need anything, the staff provides it right away. Since my husband works the night shift, I told them not to disturb us during the day. They respected that completely and even left what we needed in a bag hanging on the doorknob. Even without a “Do Not Disturb” sign, they truly listened and cared. 10 out of 10! We will definitely come back here. Guests here are truly treated as valued customers.

Just recently returned from a wonderful stay at Lighthouse Suites Emerald Isle, NC. Upon our arrival we were very warmly greeted by Jerry, whose ( ever present) graciousness and hospitality provided the perfect start to our stay. Those same qualities were evident in every staff member. (Jerry's warm humor also always kept us smiling. He's the best!) Our suite was perfect for the 3 of us - as adult siblings, it gave us just the right amount of space and was very nicely furnished. I rarely write reviews, but felt compelled to do in this instance and would highly recommend staying here.

My daughter and I came to stay a night for her 6th birthday. Not only is this the cleanest hotel I've ever been in, but the rooms are incredible as well! The sweet manager,Mary, took it upon herself to make this THE BEST hotel stay for us. She went out of her way and gave my daughter a birthday surprise this morning after breakfast with a small birthday cake, music and a little gift. My daughter said this is the best birthday ever! VERY clean hotel, definitely one of the cleanest I've ever stayed in. The staff was super nice and helpful, the owner even made us fresh omelets for breakfast which is apparently a random act of kindness on his behalf but it just so happened he did it both mornings we were there. It's also conveniently located to the beach, grocery stores, restaurants, etc. 5 out of 5, 100% would stay here again!

Pleasant staff, comfortable rooms and bedding. Separate living room seating areas were an added bonus. We paid the extra $25 fee to check in early after a long and stressful drive. That was a good option. All areas clean. Pool was clean and warm with comfortable furnishings. Requested towels and washcloths and was given immediately without hesitation. Breakfast was heat and serve but options were great. Hot waffles were delicious. Would have liked to stay an extra night. I would definitely stay there again.

Beach vacations are my son's favorite kind and I am always on the lookout for places that are close to the beach without being crowded and noisy. This location checked all the boxes. The rooms and inn as a whole were very clean. There are decent breakfast options, very close to the beach, and the staff was very helpful and friendly.

Tried to make a reservation here for 3 nights. We are moving to Emerald Isle and needed a few nights upon our arrival until our house was ready to move into. My husband is a cancer survivor and we have a registered emotional support animal (dog - old, chill, had him for over 10 years). while most hotels in the state honor ESAs this hotel refused to let us bring our animal. What a disgrace. We would never support a place that does not value the importance of the service provided by our emotional support dog. disgusting.

We rely on Trip Advisor reviews for hotels and restaurants, but this time we were misled. After staying at the Lighthouse Suites for two nights, we believe the glowing reviews are solicited or fabricated. To share a few…Reviews say the third floor rooms have amazing views. Nope. You look at a street or a Mobil home community and a water park. Reviews say breakfast is delicious with lots of choices. Nope. Yogurt and cereal were safest bets. One review says the pool was closed but they enjoyed all the other amenities. Nope, there aren't any other amenities. The hotel is very clean. The walls are very thin. And if you show up an hour and twenty minutes before check in time, you will be offered a “$25.00 plus tax” early check in. No thank you.

We had a wonderful stay with our family for a 5 night stay. Beds were comfy rooms were clean. Staff was super friendly. Breakfast was great and location was perfect for a quick walk to the beach or if you rented golf carts, we were near a lot of of popular attractions and restaurants.
The staff was super friendly!! Dawn the housekeeper even took time to help us find a local consignment/thrift shop. The rooms were very clean and nice, we had the room with the separate living room. Hotel was directly beside a water park which I would recommend for families. Also, there was a sidewalk with short walk to public beach access if you can walk a block or two maybe not for elderly or folks who have a hard time getting around. There was also a really good pizza shop with delicious subs and then a slushie type bar that we visited on our walk back from the beach. Enjoyed lunch in the lobby. Breakfast was nice as well. Simple but good and everything you'd need. Dianna upon checkout was just the sweetest and is going to print our pictures off for the memory wall. We went for a girls trip and had a great time. Dawn and Dianna were excellent representatives of the hotel. Thanks for helping make our trip comfortable!
All the staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean, spacious and comfortable. We were in town to plan our Fall wedding. Diana was so helpful and contacted their event coordinator to meet with us. Shari went out of her way and meet with us on her day off. She was so knowledgeable and gave us so much helpful information about what was available for beach weddings. All the attention we received was very much appreciated. Looking forward to returning soon.

Great location within walking distance to public beach. The staff were amazing - extremely helpful and on top of everything. Breakfast was excellent and staff make extras such as avocado toast. Very family friendly. We highly recommend it.

We were only there for one night, but if you're planning to spend time in Emerald Isle, this is the perfect location, and it was a great hotel. Seems very new, and was very clean. Mary, at the front desk, was very nice and very helpful. The room was great, everything worked, and we both slept very well. They have a breakfast, which was pretty basic, but it did have make your own waffles, microwavable breakfast sandwiches and breakfast bowls. Wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

We had a wonderful night stay! The staff was friendly and helpful. The room/suite was large, comfortable and clean. The breakfast was plentiful with many options and waffles! This was a jewel topping off our first visit to the Island. We would definitely put on top of our list to stay again.

Hotel was clean and comfortable! The staff was very friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach where you will find volleyball court restrooms and free parking. Local shopping and dining within walking distance. 3 miles from the Emerald Isle pier.

Beautiful and clean and close to the beach. Amazing staff and location! The suite was amazing! Shower to die for! Third floor offers views of the ocean! .25 walk to ocean public access. Quaint and clean breakfast area. We will definitely be back soon!

We had the most amazing stay at the Lighthouse Suites with our Vintage Church family for a marriage retreat. The hotel was beautiful, cozy, clean, and the staff went above and beyond for us! Very accommodating with our larger church group. The staff were warm with great attitudes. One of the couples in our marriage retreat group happened to have their first year anniversary this weekend, and the staff celebrated the occasion with a small cake and candles. These are the things that set it apart.

Just a really nice place to stay. Reasonably priced, clean, we have been before and we will go again. Very clean and tremendous customer service. Close to the beach also. Kind of a small scale building, but that's probably how they can have such good custom customer service.
Beautiful hotel that is so clean, comfortable and friendly staff. Delicious and well stocked continental breakfast. We so enjoyed our stay and will be choosing this hotel again when we come back to Carteret County. Best hotel in the county!!
Booking app booked the wrong date and it was “non refundable” but the front desk receptionist quickly made a new reservation for the night I needed and canceled the other incorrect reservation and even though it was initially “non refundable”, they refunded my money.

Lighthouse Inn was amazing! We came for a couples retreat and they were amazing hosts! The hotel felt very clean and new. Very calm and relaxing decor. The beds were comfortable. The staff was incredibly friendly! It was a short walk to the beach.

I agree with all of the positive comments about how clean the property is, how helpful the staff is and how comfortable the beds are. Our bonus was finding an EV charger right next to the hotel! This is a terrific convenience for anyone driving an electric vehicle to Emerald Isle.

What a beautiful place. It was very nice and well maintained. The people at the front desk were very friendly and helpful. If we needed anything it was taken care of very promptly. The bed was very comfortable, it's the best I've slept in a long time. The breakfast selection was good and breakfast room was so nice and bright.

Wonderful hotel with friendly staff! Rooms were great and breakfast was perfect! This was our first time visiting Emerald Isle and we will definitely return! Hotel was a close walk to the beach and the nearby restaurants had a great selection. Can't wait to return in the summer and enjoy the pool.

Nice, newly remodeled and super helpful front desk staff. Our room was very large, very clean and very reasonable. Reasonable rates, 3 minute walk to beach. We did a hiking trail near by that was fun. Seasonal pool and they may have beach cruiser bikes for rent/borrow, ask at front desk. If you have kids, or you just like water parks, there is one right next door. We highly recommend this comfy boutique hotel and a shout out to Sherry at the front desk, super helpful!

Great place to stay, very clean super nice admin checked us in and gave us some ideas for things to do during our stay. Our kiddos loved the breakfast! Pool was closed for the season but that was not a concern with the other amenities on site. Thanks for the stay!

We love this little boutique hotel in Emerald Isle,NC. Staff are always fantastic to work with, greeting guests with a smile. This hotel is very clean and well cared for. They also offer a nice continental breakfast. We stay here anytime we visit in the off season.

I'm all about clean and location. This hotel gets the highest rating on both. I'm a Diamond Select member of BW and I have to say this hotel deserves its premiere title. Best Western overall is getting to be A better quality stay then most on its class and I believe it has one of the better loyalty programs.

This has to the cleanest hotel we have ever stayed in. The bed is comfy and the staff are amazing. Short walk to beach. We will definitely return. Pulled in Late at night. Hotel was well lit. Front clerk was very Friendly and courteous. Booked a 2 Queen suite and it was very spacious. Beds and pillows were soo comfortable we could have stayed in bed and lounged all vacation. Convenient location to beach and our destination. Had expected a fresh cooked breakfast like other Best Westerns. But it was still good with a lot of Variety. Great stay. Wish we could have stayed longer.

We loved our weekend stay! Room very large, seating area very comfortable. King bed was firm, but in a good way. Very nice bedding, so comfy and smelled so nice. The bathroom is huge, oversized shower with extra jets. Room was clean, bright, smelled really nice. Entire hotel decor is very pleasant and comfortable. Staff friendly and helpful. We will definitely return in future. Only a few negatives, the fridge in our room made annoying rumbles all night. We had no hand soap in bathroom, but I had a travel bar in my bag. The breakfast is lacking, it's mostly bagels, pop tarts, yogurt and microwave sandwiches. The coffee machine is really nice and makes delicious coffee. Overall this a great hotel in a beautiful location !
The lobby smelled so good on arrival. There was a sweet lady named Mary mopping the area. She does a great job & is very pleasant to talk with. Mary is also knowledgeable about the area & history of the Inn. She is an exemplary young lady. The rooms were clean& beds comfortable.
This is really great boutique inn. The rooms are very clean and really very cozy. Bathroom area is great and very bright. The lady who is in charge of our room has been great and friendly. Each morning as we leave for the day she has ask if our rooms are good and what do we need! Breakfast choices are small but adequate. Waffles are a change from only pancakes. Inn is within a lot of eateries and shopping.
What a delightful experience we had at the Lighthouse Suites in Emerald Isle! The hotel is clean and efficient and its decor. The staff was extremely welcoming and helpful. Would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends and stay again.
This is our third stay at the Lighthouse Inn and they didn't disappoint. The moment we stepped into our immaculate suite, we felt at home. The staff was friendly, attentive and provided great service. While not beach front, it is close proximity to the beach which we enjoyed as well. Me and my family stayed her for the weekend in October 2024 and were amazed at this hotel! The hotel was spotless, the front desk workers made you feel like family, and the location was awesome. I would recommend staying at Lighthouse Suites!
The staff was wonderful. Texted me to make I was ok and still gonna arrive on time. The room was great. The bed was so comfy and after a long drive, I was able to relax without a problem. Breakfast the next morning was a great start to the day!! The views from the room and around the hotel were absolutely amazing! Beach was within walking distance. A nice breeze, and all the people were very welcoming! Will definitely go back for another stay very soon!!
The place is very clean quiet had no trouble parking close to all the restaurants and grocery store perfect location .Breakfast was good The pool was closed but it was raining anyway ..The front desk guy was very helpful and friendly gave me directions to different restaurants with great instructions and which restaurant to try with us being new to the area but everything was great ….we will return when checking out the staff was friendly I would recommend this hotel !!!!

The room is very nice, large with a bedroom and separate living room, very clean. Location is excellent. Emerald Isle is a beautiful spot, pristine and family oriented, with multiple water activities, beautiful beaches and trails, great for walking on the beach, fishing, water sports, walking on forest trails.

This was our fourth stay at the Lighthouse. The hotel was clean as it has always been. Courteous and knowledgeable staff to handle and attend to our needs. Very quiet location. Hotel lobby very clean and all amenities worked perfectly in the room. Bed was firm but not too firm. Room was very clean.

The staff was very friendly and helpful with everything we needed during our stay. The rooms are extremely clean and the bed was so comfortable I would like to have it at home ? Location is nice as we were able to walk almost everywhere we wanted to go. I enjoyed sitting by the pool relaxing and reading my book in the sun. We will definitely be staying again.
Just a real cozy and wonderful room. Staff were super friendly. Everything smelled clean in the whole hotel. Great location for a weekend away. Breakfast was quick and painless. Quick little 10 minutes wander to the beach for ones beach needs.
The customer service is exceptional. The hotel is clean, comfortable and the rooms are spacious. It was a short walk to the public beach access point and passed coffee and pizza on your way. Basic continental breakfast included. Sufficient parking for our vehicle and a quick drive to grocery and activities. Sadly the pool was out of commission for our stay but those things are beyond our control. I would absolutely stay here again!

I had an incredible experience at this hotel for my son's 12th birthday weekend. Possibly the cleanest hotel I have stayed at! Location is great for shopping and a short walk to the beach - and no dealing with the traffic on the island. Staff is very friendly and helpful. Free and safe parking. Suites have a separate living room and bedroom and large bathroom.

Great and friendly staff that were very accommodating for us and our 3 kids. Good location that is close to shops and a short walk to the beach. Rooms were clean. Breakfast is microwave meals, which is not for everyone, but worked well for our family.

We were only there for one night but wish we could have stayed longer. The hotel was extremely clean, and quiet and the beds were comfortable. The suite was a very nice size and had a small fridge and coffee maker. It's in a great location. They had a convenient pantry for grabbing a bottle of water if you needed one.

The hotel as a whole was very clean, room was super clean! The staff was so nice and helpful with any questions we had or anything we needed. The bed and pillows are very comfortable. The breakfast is small but you do have several options, including waffles. This hotel is only about a 5-10 min walk to the beach. Would definitely stay here again.

Great place. We had the pool pretty much to our self. Rooms were clean and it was a quiet and family oriented place. Wish the TVs were a little more updated but it was great stay. My grandson loved the pool and all was extra clean. We would definitely stay again.

The Lighthouse Inn is a short walk to the beach and they have a large pool. The hotel room was a good size with a large sitting area with a sofa, chair and tv. The bedroom was spacious and also had a tv. The room was clean and comfy. Many restaurants are close by. Continental breakfast was included.

Comfortable beds, everything smells new and clean, great breakfast with many options, and excellent location with only 7 minute walk to the beach. Beachy vibe decor, our 2-queen bed suite was simple and perfect. Great shower, fridge was nice for snacks and leftovers. Pool was great. Staff were friendly!

This was the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in. The pool was small but never busy and very clean. Not very far from the beach you can walk to it or drive down to the paid parking lot. The breakfast is a little more than your standard continental breakfast and it does end at 9:30 am. They always had fresh coffee out. The beds were comfy and pillows too. Would definitely stay here again
Beds were comfy but high. Plenty of room in the suite to spread out. Water pressure was good. Quiet area at night. Breakfast area was clean, open and inviting. Used the area to play games later in the day. Staff were always available and courteous. Convenient walk to the beach and a quick trip to Publix and restaurants.

Great place to stay on Bogue Banks/in Emerald Isle. Friendly staff, great location, “new feeling.” Reasonably priced, clean, breakfast included makes it a great alternative to renting a worn-out house. Walk to the beach, or shopping and eating, and kid attraction. Highly recommend and will be back!

I described my experience has extraordinary. It is the cleanest hotel I've ever been in!!! The attention was amazing, the space of our room was great, the bathroom was impeccable, the bed was incredibly comfortable and the pillows were fluffy. 10/10. I highly recommend you this incredible hotel.
We found everything at Lighthouse Suites to be beautiful, pleasant, and clean. The room was nicer than I had expected and very comfortable. The only negative I could say is the room did not have a full length mirror to check yourself before leaving the room. The hotel is not large it is a mid-sized hotel (in my estimation) which created a calm and peaceful environment. This is the perfect place for a relaxing get-away. The staff was very nice and quickly attended to any request made. Each one of the staff we encounter exuded southern charm. The owner was extremely nice, and helpful to give recommendations for accessing the beach, directions to The Point (a recommended site for viewing the sunset), and The Pier (restaurants where you can sit outside to eat while viewing the ocean). He took the time to talk with us answering our questions and even explained some history of the island. My daughter had a birthday during our 5 night stay and the owner / staff went above and beyond to make it a special occasion. Also, Sunday was Mothers day and one of the staff members came into the dining area at breakfast carring a bouquet of red roses. She greeted every woman and gave each a rose. I highly recommend this lovely and charming hotel. I can't wait to visit again.

My wife and I got the deluxe king and it was amazing! We decided to take a last minute trip to the coast and it's a short walk from the beach and there is plenty to do. My wife and I loved and and if we are back in the area will definitely stay again! Staff was very friendly and accommodating.

My sister and I needed a place to stay while passing through on a road trip, and we couldn't have found a better place! Donna checked us in and was so helpful, she made a great lasting impression on us. She provided us with traveling advice and we couldn't be more thankful! Would definitely stay again!
very nice and clean. Super friendly faces to greet you at the desk. The breakfast was nice with lots of choices. Our room was very nice and clean with lots of room. Will return for short stays when needed. The whole place was clean and welcoming.
Everything was quite & quaint. We're use to staying at big hotels/resorts but it was for only 1 day so we chose something smaller & this was perfect. Not being oceanfront didn't even bother me at all as I usually go oceanfront at beach. The quietness was nice for a change. Might consider a weeks vacation here. I didn't like that it does not have a gym , pool was small & my pillow was a little on hard side but nothing that would keep me from coming back.
The staff Dianna and Mary were exceptional. Friendly and very professional They were very helpful ,giving us important information and also solving our problems quickly.we can recommend those 2 ladies anytime The breakfast was very good with a nice selection
The staff could not have been any more perfect. The place is immaculately clean. When we asked to be moved to a king size bed, they were very accommodating. I highly highly highly recommend this place. It is close to the ocean as well. The breakfast was great.
So glad we booked here! The size of the rooms are huge and perfect for families with 2 TV's and a separate living area. The hotel was very clean and friendly staff. It's walking distance to the beach, eateries and shops. We had a great experience and we will definitely be back!

I had a two night stay in March 2024. The Lighthouse Suites are super clean and they look brand new! The staff is friendly and accommodating! They offered me an umbrella and extra towels to dry off chairs being used in a wedding. Thank you!⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

The Lighthouse Suites is a small, quaint, very clean, comfortable and welcoming place. This place is in the middle of the tourist section of Emerald Isle with many different venues and restaurants near by that are within walking distance. The staff was polite, friendly, professional and willing to go the extra mile to make sure we are happy with our stay. I would recommend staying here when you are looking for a place to stay.

This is one of the best places I've stayed. Everything is so new and fresh and absolutely beautiful! The rooms were very nice with comfy beds and pillows. I can't wait to bring the whole family out in the near future. It was a very relaxing stay.

Nice, clean rooms and extremely polite staff. We were welcomed with a thoughtful handwritten note and bag with waters and snack in our room. Room was a suite with sitting area separated from bedroom. Coastal decor perfect the location. Breakfast options included pastries, yogurts and even microwaveable breakfast sandwiches. Small hotel but very nice.

The bed is so comfortable! Everything was wonderful. But the best part was the staff! Everyone was so friendly and welcoming. Any time I had a question, the staff was so happy to help. One of the staff even remembered me from my last visit! I liked that. The facility was clean and comfortable. And the breakfast offerings were great!

I am really pleased with this stay! BW may be a budget hotel, but this felt like a boutique spot. It was relatively small overall, but the rooms were a great size. Ours had two TVs, microwave, small fridge, couch, accent chair and renovated bathroom. I've paid more for hotel rooms that were *far less* nice. We only stayed one night, but it was a really nice getaway. Everything looked clean, the breakfast was small but had a good number of options and the staff was friendly. It's also about a 5 minute walk from the beach and a 5 minute drive from the pier.

Everything was clean, fresh, and modern. Very pleasant staff. Easy walk to the beach. Quiet neighborhood setting. Definitely recommend. Breakfast consists of cold options, heat-n-eat choices, packaged pastries and waffles. I went to Publix down the street for a stash of fresh fruit.

very nice place to stay, build in 2022 the Hotel is worth an extended in the future. Quick check-in, ample parking, public beach access in walking distance. Wifi is fast and breakfast offers a good selection to get a good start into the day.

The BW Lighthouse Inn and Suites is an excellent hotel. The spacious rooms were decorated simply and lovely. This was the very first time I did not feel compelled to use sanitizing wipes in a hotel room! Everything was super clean. The beds were comfortable and the linens were soft. The sitting area was perfect for reading and having a snack with the help of the mini fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The breakfast was excellent because healthy options were provided. You can't beat a fresh fruit cup every morning and a sunny clean dining area! You can't have an excellent hotel without an above average staff! Every staff member was friendly and accommodating. We will definitely return and will recommend this hotel to others.

The hotel was very accommodating. We extended our vacation and we needed a hotel room for a few days. Diana at the front desk was most helpful and applied our room to our Best Western account and got us a room right away as one was ready and it was off season. The hotel was lovely, clean and smelled good too. The room was spacious and was decorated beautifully. The breakfast area was clean and the breakfast was very good.

This is probably the cleanest hotel I've ever stayed in, and the staff were all fiendly and professional staff. Okay reason for not giving five stars is that all of the pillows were too fluffy - need some firm ones in the room, too.

Great spot! We had a wonderful stay during Labor Day weekend. Easy access to the beach. Stag. Was cordial and kind. Easy access to other restaurants and amenities. Didn't feel crowded. And the beach was spot on.

The accommodations are very comfortable, clean and quiet. The location is right on Emerald Drive after you come across the bridge. The separate living room had a TV , fridge, microwave and Keurig for coffee. For those who aren't ready to go to bed it provides an area to stay up and keep from disturbing the sleepers. The self serve continental breakfast was perfect for our needs. I would definitely stay here again.

This hotel is extremely clean and very family friendly. The staff is great. Ms Donna on the night shift is the best. She made the family feel like we were staying at one of our relatives. She gave us tips on were to eat and things to do. We were playing cards in the breakfast area when Ms Donna brought over goody bag she decorated by hand. The next morning on of the guest turned 8 and there was a goody for her with staff member Dianna had Happy Birthday playing in the breakfast area. I heard the Ms Donna decorated the bag and even pays for the fancy ribbons herself. The bag is filled with snacks the hotel provides. The bags are such a nice and friendly gesture The room are very spacious even for a family of four adults. The hotel is two blocks from the beach and a water park is across the street. We will return
The hotel was absolutely fantastic. The room was very clean, the beds were comfortable, the staff was beyond amazing. It was my daughter's 8th birthday and when Dianna from the front desk found out, she went above and beyond to make my daughter feel special. She put a birthday song on the speaker at breakfast so everyone could sing to her and then even gave her a little gift in a very cute hand decorated bag. Not only did this make my daughter's day, but I was in tears just out of the pure generosity everyone showed. I highly highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in area. You will not be disappointed.

Our room was great! The room was big, the bed was super cozy, and the view was perfect! The bathroom was AMAZING, particularly the shower. The BEST shower EVER! There was a rain shower water head and 4 jets….all I can say is WOW! The continental breakfast was perfect! The front desk staff were very pleasant and inviting. We certainly enjoyed our stay and will continue to go back.
My family and myself stayed here on 9/15 for our anniversary. Beautiful and clean . It's not too far from beach. Staff was friendly and helpful when we had questions. Rooms was clean and smell nice. Hotel was a good deal if you looking for somewhere nice close to the beach and like 30 minutes away from the aquarium.

This is a wonderful up-scale Best Western property. We loved the 2-room suites with a2 TVs ( one in the bedroom and one in the living room area). The hotel is a short walk to the beach and to shops. There is a Waterpark next to the hotel. The hotel staff was gracious and very helpful. I only have two complaints. We could not enjoy coffee in our room. The cord to the coffee maker was too short to reach the outlet. We had to move it to the coffee table, but even after plugging it in, we could not get it to work. My other issue was the breakfast. We appreciated that the hotel offered breakfast, but I was a bit disappointed with the selection. I expected at least a few hot options such as eggs and bacon. Unfortunately the only options were prepackaged breakfast bowls and sandwiches, prepackaged muffins and yogurt. There is only one microwave in the breakfast area, so a line quickly forms as people had to wait to heat up their microwave breakfast. Despite those two minor issues, we would definitely stay here again and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a nice hotel very close to the beach.

This hotel is conveniently located on Emerald Isle. I was pleasantly surprised to see the room has a cozy sitting area with a tv, as well as a tv in the separate bedroom. All stays include breakfast, something for everyone - hot & cold cereal, pop tarts, bagels, croissant sausage egg & cheese, granola bars... AND our room was very clean!

We arrived early and our room was ready! We were delighted to see some roses, heart shaped towel and Happy 30th Anniversary sign on our bed. Dianna was just delightful. From check in and throughout our entire stay. She even put avocado toast on the breakfast continental breakfast choices since we talked about it. Our room was clean with nicely updated furnishings. The bed and pillows were very comfortable. She recommended a great place for lunch and just made sure we didn't need anything. We met the owners in the morning and they were so nice and friendly. They recommended another Best Western in the area we were traveling to next. We will stay here again and highly recommend. This location is close to grocery stores, shops and restaurants.

The appearance of the building as you arrive was simply awesome. It fits the area just perfectly. Once inside you feel as if you are at a five star resort. The staff was engaging but not bothersome and ready with any assistance we needed. The room was simple but nicely arranged and color coordinated. Clean doesn't come close to describing how "clean" this place is. The bed was loaded with extremely white comfortable pillows, sheets and spreads. The mattress was a little to soft for me, but I never sleep good away from my bed at home. The owner, Jerry and I had a very nice conversation and found that we have some friends in common. I felt wolcomed and the experience couldn't have been better. Will gladly stay again when back in Emerald Isle.

Started out with a poor experience by trying to book on air b n b and reservation was never accepted/ignored. Called the hotel though and the experience was very positive - spoke to Jerry (the same person hosting the air b n b listing) and he guided me to booking the best room to meet my needs. The staff on site were both very pleasant - and most importantly, the room met my requests of being quiet & spacious and it was very clean. The towels are served in bags, the toilet paper/tissues/cups/etc. could use an upgrade - but for what it is, this property delivered very well and we would return.

Lovely boutique hotel! Friendly, accommodating staff. They worked with me a little on my rate, as I had just ditched my previous hotel b/c it was nasty and had bugs and no way I could sleep there. Hotel is very clean, suites are spacious, continental breakfast is fine....all I really cared about was good coffee. Bed is extremely comfortable. Quite, relaxing and lovely place to stay

This place filled our needs just right. It was very clean, the breakfast was good. This location was perfect to all the places that were on my list of things to see and do. Staff was nice and knowledgeable about places to see and where to eat. It was less than a 10 minute walk to the beach, depending on your age, you could do it faster. The grounds were clean, and looked well kept. Would love to visit the area again, and would definitely stay here again.
