This hotel was a pleasant surprise and exceeded my expectations. The room was clean, comfortable and everything worked properly. The staff was friendly and helpful.
I have stayed at this property for about 14 years when I travel to Butner NC. This property seems to be declining in value. The lift no longer function, the automatic doors do not currently work. The property is not as clean as it used to be. I have to think the owner is….?
Great Stay I love staying at Bestwestern ... a Very pleasant front desk staff! Serving a decent hot breakfast The rooms are so quiet and clean!I definitely recommend this hotel.
Sam took great care of us with restaurant recommendations. I only drink decaf coffee, and theirs was fresh and full flavored (not weak as at most hotels)
Friendly and professional staff. Clean and safe place to stay. Good complimentary breakfast. Fitness center clean and good. Location is close to major Hwys and with plenty of restaurants .
This property was really nice ,Clean and well taken care .I recommended this property to every one .The front desk Clark who checked us in was very kind and polite .Breakfast was nice and fresh .
The hotel served its purpose as a shelter in the time of storm. The night clerk was pleasant. The dust in the entry area alerted me that it needed a little cleaning. The room which was 2 Queen Bed smelled similar to trip abroad. My eucalyptus spray could not battle the smell. None of the outlets worked so no charging of the devices occurred. We awoke early to continue our road trip and breathe the fresh air.
I think that if a hotel is multi-levels there should be some type of notification when you make reservations that there is NO ELEVATOR. There were no options offered or assistance with navigating the stairs for my husband. There is a lift but it is only if you are in a wheelchair. The bathroom was laughable. You could not sit on the toilet and open or close the door. The room was too small. The towels for the shower are not in the bathroom. They are out in the bedroom. The microwave and refrigerator are next to the bed. Breakfast was hardboiled eggs and dry sausage. The orange juice was sour. On a positive note, there were waffles that you could make.
The Best Western Butner Creedmoor Inn offered a convenient location off I 85, clean and adequate accommodations, and a complimentary breakfast. The site was conveniently located as we attended our granddaughter's basketball tournament hosted at nearby Falls Lake Academy.
We always use this hotel whenever we are passing thru. Rooms are always clean. They keep their hotel really clean from lobby to the room. Breakfast also has good variety to choose from and start your day with freshly brewed coffee.
We stayed here during our family wedding. Our whole group was taken care of by the staff. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms were very clean. The breakfast was also good. We would recommend this place to anyone. We would definitely stay here again.
The hotel is the best in town. Clean and convenient. Staff is good. We liked the breakfast options and breakfast attendant was very accommodating. The staff helped with our requests. The bed was made really well.
Everything was clean. We liked the fact that room was really clean including bedding and bathroom. Lobby looks great. Good varieties in breakfast. The staff is very friendly and helpful. We will be back when in the are next time.
The hotel is location off the interstate. Very clean hotel, huge lobby and friendly staff. The breakfast lady is really nice and keep on checking everything and kept cleaning the area when needed. It exceeds my expectation everytime I stay here.
BW I've been waiting to make this post to see if my frustration was just related to wedding stress. 3 weeks later, I can confirm that I'm still pissed. TLDR - don't book your wedding block here. The bottom line is that this is the worst hotel I've ever dealt with in my life. I've been in numerous weddings, travel regularly, and am generally an easy going person. From my first phone call with this hotel, I should've known something was wrong. Gender profiling. Rudeness. Lack of professionalism. Disorganization. The list keeps going. First off, scheduling a hotel room block should be the easiest part of wedding planning - that is, unless you choose this hotel. I called early this year, almost nine months in advance to set up a room block for my wedding. I was told on that first phone call that we would be financially responsible for all rooms that were left over from the block, which I thought was strange. It took months to actually set up the room block, and required me to actually come in to the hotel to discuss with someone directly because there were too many miscommunications via phone. Finally, the block was set up - should be good to go, or so I thought. The hotel repeatedly told me that I was not meeting my minimum requirements, even though I personally spoke to over 20 couples who all said they had booked rooms. I had to call EVERY one of my guests and write down their confirmation numbers, the amount of nights, and their names and then bring this spreadsheet to the hotel to ensure they had the guests bookings properly recorded - they did not. Almost every reservation had an error, causing myself and all of my guests unnecessary stress. Five rooms were booked under MY name, not their own, because people said they were in MY wedding block. This continued up through the night before my wedding. I came to the hotel to check in as I was staying there by myself the night before, and the reception person told me “please expect for your discounts not to be honored because you have had too many cancellations under your name and there aren't enough bookings”. This was a lie. While crying, I again had to pull out my spreadsheet with everyone's information on it, when I was just trying to relax on the night before my wedding. Second, don't even bother attempting to book a shuttle service for wedding guests. My wedding venue was less than 15 miles round trip from the hotel (7 miles each direction) and for four round trips before and after wedding (8 total) the charge was for $500 - which seems fair, until you consider that the bus only seats 10 people, and your guests would have to start arriving to the venue hours in advance to all get there in time for your ceremony. They said that they don't have a shuttle personally and that it comes from another hotel in Raleigh. Also, when asking for a confirmation, I was told that they don't give confirmations for shuttles, and that payment can be given once they arrive. So I'm supposed to leave it in their hands to make sure the shuttle is actually coming.. yeah right. Third, my guests were overcharged after the fact. The hotel promised a particular price upon booking over the phone, yet about a month before the wedding, I was speaking to the manager about something and he informed me that “due to blue ridge rock festival, the rates for the weekend will be increasing”. Excuse me? So my guests who already booked under the false information of a discounted room were going to be up charged for… a rock festival in another state… an hour away. Absurd. Fourth, the hotel was struck by lightening (one thing that shockingly wasn't their fault) and while the halls filled with smoke and power issues caused rooms to have broken appliances, lack of A/C, and more issues, no one from my group was given any discount or credit for their inconveniences. My father was electrocuted by his refrigerator while standing in his room, literally zapped. Fifth, the men who work at this hotel are incredibly condescending towards women. I was repeatedly told “calm down my dear” when questioning them about anything that seemed unusual. It was always an issue until I brought my husband into the hotel with me for a discussion about what the issue was. They didn't make eye contact with women who came with a man, only spoke to the men, and were overall not welcoming to women. I understand cultural differences but speaking to me like a child or unintelligent will not go over well for you. Sixth (yes there is more), the pool was absolutely vile. My family was having to clean the pool themselves in order to enjoy it, and were essentially ignored when requesting it be serviced/cleaned by staff. Seventh, just because this pissed me off so much. I came down for breakfast the morning of my wedding at 9:05 - five minutes late. I didn't want much, just a yogurt. The mini fridge was locked, so I asked the front desk if they would unlock it to give me a yogurt. They responded, “breakfast ended at 9”. So let me get this straight. I came here for my weekday wedding, when you had ZERO other bookings (confirmed by front desk) and I brought you nearly 30 rooms booked for not one, but FOUR nights, at your BS overpriced rates, and I can't have a YOGURT on my wedding day because I am five minutes late? I do not mean to sound entitled - I understand that breakfast ended, but I wasn't asking for a meal to be cooked. I asked for one disposable yogurt after being treated like absolute crap and being made cry the night before by these people. The manager apologized to us on our way out and assured us that we would have no additional charges, but it was a bit late for apologies when you guys literally made my life hell for the last 9 months dealing with this constant unprofessional attitude. The staff here should be replaced with all new ones from the bottom up, something seriously needs to change.
We stayed here for a wedding and the entire experience from start to finish was a nightmare . The staff was NOT friendly nor accommodating and every request we made seemed like a burden. Check in and out took 20-25 minutes which is the longest I've ever experienced at a hotel especially for check out. During check out , the woman working the front desk barely even spoke to us. She never said good morning or asked us how our stay was. When we got to our room, it was incredibly hot . It was 98 degrees that day and the air condition was not on so it took hours for the room to cool down . Nothing about the hotel or the staff was welcoming. There were several other guests that were part of the wedding block that had the same experience. It was incredibly disappointing given the price we paid for the rooms.
My husband stayed there for a family wedding nearby, which brought almost 30 room rentals. It was over 100 degrees outside, and they didn't run the air conditioning in the public area of the hotel, the TVs didn't work in many rooms; they wouldn't provide extra towels; the pool closed at dusk; the bride, who brought in all of this business had requested an extra hour for check out and was denied; the hotel got struck by lightening, and someone's phone sparked and started smoking and the staff kept saying there was no problem, go back to your room. It's dated and run down. It was the least accommodating hotel experience he's ever had, and we've stayed in a lot of hotels. The management and staff didn't seem to care about the customer's satisfaction in any way whatsoever.
Enjoyed my stay..hotel is super clean. I love that that there is no carpet in any of the rooms so even if the floor feels clean when walking. Easily the best place to stay if you're going to be in the Creedmoor area. I recommend booking directly with the hotel to get the best deals.
No working elevator, pool Closed, refrigerator in room not working, wall sockets not working, sink not draining, rude staff, paid more money for a child to sleep on a air mattress that was brought from home.
Avoid if possible. The bed was hard felt like I was sleeping on a wood board. Bathroom very small. The continental breakfast was below average fruit was old not a good selection of pastry. The orange juice tasted old. The whole breakfast just limited to nothing. The chairs to sit on in the breakfast area were very old hard and sunk in the middle as if your bottom was going to sink in and drop right on the floor. All the chairs were like that at each table very uncomfortable due to limited padding on the chairs. The back of your thighs will feel the pressure. The price they are charging is not worth it and they know it. They need better upgrades then hardwood floors in the room. Hotel just pieced together to take people money.
This hotel is delight to stay at. The employees are pleasant and courteous. The room was very nice and clean. Overall very good experience. We will stay here again. Extremely well kept spacious lobby and amazingly clean rooms.
Great hotel. Staff is awesome from front desk to housekeeping. Very clean hotel. Breakfast lady is very nice and keep all items in stock. Our room was cleaned daily. Staff care about the guests and their needs.
Great staff. I stay couple of weekends here due to work and they always make sure I get the room that I like. Rooms and lobby always clean. The whole team keep the hotel and rooms well maintained. They offer much better breakfast than some of the other hotels I have stayed. Breakfast attendant keep the area well stocked and cleaned.
Picked this hotel due to it being highest rated in town. Owners are cutting costs. No Internet 2nd night but the owners private wifi was still up....hmm. Breakfast pickings bad, very slim pickings and what was there was poor quality. Lobby and dining room temp kept very hot to save money I'm guessing. Dining area dark, no TV, really old uncomfortable chairs. Most hotel's upon arrival set the AC in your room so you are refreshed. Not here. Almost 80 in my room upon arrival. Signs on doors and in lobby threatening to fine you$350 if you smoke in room or too close to the building outside! I don't smoke but c'mon. Just petty. Plenty of ridiculous plexiglass shields in lobby cause COVID can't go around! Overall a depressing place to stay. Horrible bed. Killed my back.
This property was exceptionally clean, modern and amazingly comfortable. It was a safe haven while traveling on the road. Amir was kind and helpful when I ran into a spot of trouble. My stay was perfect. The hot breakfast was tasty and filling. Lovely spacious lobby, comfortable bed and a great handicapped accessible shower. Thank you for a lovely stay.
When we pick a hotel room for our baseball group, we make sure they have free breakfast to help make our mornings run smoother. We all got downstairs to get breakfast and the front desk lady says that due to Covid, they weren't offering breakfast. The last 7 hotels I have stayed in were offering breakfast. I am not sure why this hotel was still not offering breakfast.
Had a great stay at this Best Western. It was extremely clean, and the bed was very comfortable. Service was excellent, with quick check in and easy check out. I also enjoyed the hot breakfast. Would stay here again.
TV did not work very loud noise coming fro. somewhere and the girl on night duty could not fix, She called the manager who said he would give us a refund but I guess he changed his mind because when I checked my bank account nothing had been refunded. Also asked the person at check-out if my refund had been done and she said yes
I needed a hotel in an area where there were not many and some of lesser quality. The BW was the best option and surprised me on the cleanliness, pleasant staff and overall amenities. I would definitely stay there again when ever I am in that area.
I am a traveling medical professional and Best Western was the only hotel nearby. Motels have proven not to be very safe when traveling alone. I was surprised when cash was the only acceptable form of payment for weekly stays. This was the first in 15 years to not have an option to use my Visa. I was surprised when that rate did not include toiletries, coffee or breakfast. It was the most I ever paid for a weekly stay. That was OK. The most important issue was a place to stay so I could work for 13 weeks. I left after completing the contract. Two months later I was requested by the hospital to return. I called Best Western and Sam said everything would be the same. Surprises continued--I travel with glue traps and roaches and other bugs were captured on the traps. The bugs were entering from the bottom of the door which was approximately an inch or two from the floor. A few days after mentioning that, my weekly rate increased by $100.00. Absolutely extortion. While I continued to stay 4 more weeks, the noise was unbearable. Many nights I was awakened by loud noises or music. I didn't complain for fear my rate would increase again. I left one week of completing the assignment due to sleep deprivation. Additionally, the handicapped parking spaces were occupied by vehicles without a placard. In my opinion, anyone who does that has a character flaw.
Very accommodating, friendly, courteous and professional staff! Could not ask for a better experience anywhere! Clean, good location, and excellent service. Samantha and all the staff went above and beyond to make our stay most enjoyable! Good location. Would highly recommend to anyone and wouldn't think of staying anywhere else in this area. They treat you like family!! A++
They clean twice a week, you have to walk your towels to the front desk to get clean ones very nasty hotel, the front desk want to you want you can do and not do on the room, can't have me visitors, can't cook don't waste your time to come to that hotel.
Our family group - both bride and groom - stayed at the hotel Oct 30-Nov 1, 2020 and it was excellent! My husband and I met with Samantha last fall when we were booking Carlee Farm for the wedding venue and seeking a hotel for our guests. From that day forward, Samantha, the manager was extremely helpful, organized and readily available to assist with anything we needed before, during and after the wedding. Samantha went above and beyond to keep the bridal party happy and on schedule. The hotel is very clean and quiet. I highly recommend using the Best Western Butner/Creedmore for your wedding groups or individual stay. Remember to ask for Samantha!
Samantha was very courteous and professional. Very very clean hotel would recommend. The hotel appears to have been recently renovated and looks excellent. Very conveniently located off the interstate.
I booked my room based on customer reviews. I even paid a much higher rate per night because the reviews made it seem worth it. The room is ok. Quiet. But nothing special considering what I expect for this level. The bathroom is small, and this certainly an older hotel. The beds aren't very comfy, just flat. We are living with COVID limitations, so we understood the standard buffet breakfast was not available. They had “Grab and Go” bags that each guest could pick up. So, I went to get ours. Not what I could have expected. It was a paper lunch bag which contained: A bottle of water Store brand fruit and grain bar Store brand coffee stick (donut like thing) Snack pack of pudding Store brand little cinnamon roll thing is little Debbie/ pecan wheel No milk or juice No fruit. I guess I would have thought they'd have something sort of breakfast. Muffin Oatmeal or individual cereals maybe we could choose from I did like the location since there a lots of restaurants close by. I would not stay again at this rate. It was probably 70.00 a night over priced. It may have just been the weekend I chose to stay. Maybe it's normally much less expensive. My personal opinion about the hotel is based on the rate I paid in comparison to other hotels I've stayed in near to the location.
Best Western Butner Creedmoor Inn exceeded all expectations. The hotel staff went out of their way to accommodate our team while working in the area. Rooms were clean and comfortable and well maintained. I would highly recommend this hotel.
My family and I stayed overnight for a baseball tournament. The hotel lobby is very nice. The room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was average hotel food-not great and limited selection. We have never stayed at a hotel that asks the children's ages and actually charge you a fee. BE WARNED! We were not happy about that at all, especially since we checked in late. My 14 year-old only showered, went to sleep, had a light breakfast because of his game that morning.
Best Western Butner Creedmoor Inn inspires confidence from the reservation desk all the way through your stay. The rooms are clean and well prepared, the bedding clean and fresh and amenities are the best in the area. Sleep in a peaceful setting at night and start your day with a great hot breakfast included in the price. The management is friendly, professional, and visible in the day to day operation of the facility. Choosing this facility is a "no brainer" when business or pleasure brings you to this geographical area. You'll be glad you did.
A very nice stay. Clean, good location pleasant and knowledgeable employees, especially Samantha. We were in the area for an event at the Carolina theater and chose this location accordingly. We were about 20 minutes away and it all worked out fine. Would choose again.
I had a one night stay reserved for an event I was attending. The event ended earlier than anticipated. When I went to checkin, I asked if I can cancel my stay without incurring fees or charges. To my surprise, the young lady (Samantha) at the from desk said I could. She cancelled my reservation right away. This is the best customer service I have experienced with any hotel. Best Western Creedmoor will continue to get my business. Thank you, Samantha!
I'm a long time BW customer often staying at BW during business travel. I've come to expect comfortable, clean rooms and courteous staff as routine. A routine that makes it difficult to tell one BW from another. That consistency is what has made me a long time customer. Butner Creedmoor Inn is the exception. Yes, the hotel was clean and the room comfortable. On the other hand the staff... Samantha and Julius provide a small town B&B feel to the BW routine. My thanks to you and all the staff. Anytime I'm traveling through RDU airport I will be staying with you.
Samantha was the best. Always friendly, pleasant and always went above and beyond for us. She made our stay pleasant, relaxing & worth while, even if something else about our stay (room, etc.) Wasn't 100% she made it right.
Samantha and the entire team are one of the most helpful and friendliest group of humans I have encountered in all of my travels. They have always gone above and beyond to ensure that everything was absolutely perfect during my stays with them. They are always happy and bubbly! This team should be considered the poster child for professionalism, hospitality, and just all around good vibes! The property is always kept clean and welcoming. Location is well located and peaceful.
Love the rooms, amenities and customer service. Beautiful lobby, breakfast area, and swimming pool. You are right in the middle of small town with access to Raleigh, Durham and I-85 highway. Perfect location!!
I called today to make my reservation and Samantha was awesome! Very friendly and informative! She even took note that I was traveling with my mother and gave us a room on the bottom floor, I thought that was so nice of her! It's just nice to talk to people who seem to care and go the extra mile! Thank you again! Ms. Gray
We recently spent 1 night here while traveling. We used Best Western points for a room that would have been $129. I gave a rating of 1 star because it was very very basic. Example - no extra towels, cups, coffee, etc. Breakfast was so basic, we left hungry - soggy French toast sticks, lukewarm flat “egg” rounds. Little Debbie pecan rolls & a couple English Muffins & pieces of bread, & cereal. The reason that I didn't give 0 stars is because the hotel was very clean. I spoke with the manager in am, and to her credit she was very apologetic and stressed it was a basic hotel. She offered to return my points. Kudos to her fir taking ownership. Overall - not worth $129 for basic amenities.
arrived in a tiny little town called Creedmore on a Saturday afternoon to be greeted by an exceptionally friendly receptionist who went above and beyond to cater for our requests... cannot make any complaints about this hotel...
This Best Western has very friendly & informative receptionists. It is a very quiet location; and the facility is very clean; with a sumptuous breakfast. My only complaint is that the in-room coffee is terrible. They need to offer something like Starbucks or Peets coffee !
This hotel is the best in town!!!! It's the only one I would ever stay at in Creedmoor. The staff is amazingly pleasant. The hotel is clean, updated, and well kept. I will recommend this hotel to my family and friends who live out of town :)
Everything in general was great. The room, staff members, delicious breakfast. The cleanness of the room was very important for me and this place is on point. Lining, the carpet, bathrooms very organized.
We have been going here for over 6 years, best place to stay in town, staff always friendly and helpful, will continue to stay at this location. Breakfast is always good, better than most other places I have stayed.
This is a hidden gem worth searching for. Located in an out of the way location and not obvious. Rooms, lobby, grounds and building were very clean. Outstanding breakfast to be free. Personnel are very accommodating and friendly.
This is by far the best and nicest local option. Will definitely return. Staff is knowledgeable and always willing to help. Security in this area is a concern but NOT here. Always felt safe and I had no concerns when my wife was coming and going alone any time of day.
Our company stays almost weekly at Best Western in Creedmoor, NC because we have one of our company's locations nearby. They make it very easy for us to reserve rooms for our employees and are super friendly and accommodating to our needs. They are so nice and flexible to work with and the rooms are always clean and fresh.
After a bad experience arriving in Creedmoor , NC had to lock for a different hotel , since The first minute that I walked in at the Best Western I was welcome very professionally by the manager on duty ( Samantha ) , I was given a tour at my request, want to make shore that my stay in the area to be as good as possible, I travel true North America a lot and stay in a lot of different places , these one is on my top ratings , very clean, all the staff are very friendly, very quiet and good breakfast, will strongly recommend. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Staying at this hotel was a wonderful experience...Very clean, staff was very helpful and greeted us with a smile....Samantha was great and even sent us a personal thank you....This hotel is located just outside Durham and right off I 85.
I stay here often when in town for business and find the staff incredibly hospitable and the guest rooms and common areas are impeccably clean. I would not hesitate to recommend the Best Western Butner Creedmoor to anyone looking for a reasonably priced, clean and convenient hotel.
The Best Western in Butner is the best hotel in Town!!! The staff and owners are amazing! We have utilized their meeting room for almost a year and they are so pleasant to work with! It's always clean and setup for our needs!! They truly serve their customers on the standard of excellence!!!! Check them out by checking in!!!!
Our employees have been staying at Best Western Creedmoor for several years and absolutely love staying there!!! We couldn't ask for better service. The rooms are always clean and they accommodate any needs we have!! I would recommend them to anyone staying in the Butner/Creedmoor area.
For a hotel that was not busy at all I was upset that they charged me $20.00 to checkin only 2 hours early. I have never been charged for checking in early at a Best Western nor any other hotel. There were plenty of rooms available so having to pay to have our room cleaned early was an extra charge not needed in my opinion. The breakfast was below average: the biscuits were hard, the eggs dry, and the sausage hard. I was not please with my stay.
Good size room w comfortable bed. But limited extra blankets, no tissues, toilet seat didn't stay up and breakfast was very anemic. Price was the highest in area. So the major issue is that $140. Is a lot to spend in this area for this area at this time of year.
In Butner the selection is not that large, and I feel that this Best Western was the best of the bunch. Staff was very friendly and the bed was comfortable for a one night stay. I would not recommend staying in Butner for an extended period of time.
Prior to our arrival and due to the aftermath of Hurricane Florence, Manager "Samantha" contacted me to learn if I would still be able to keep my reservation. She further informed me that should I have any difficulties in making it there there would be no cancellation fee imposed. We arrived and Julius kindly checked me in. The facility was very clean, including our room. While this is a two level/floor motel there is no elevator, but there is a lift for the handicapped. After a quiet and comfortable night's rest we enjoyed a satisfying complimentary breakfast. The food items were neatly arranged and all parts of the breakfast area were extremely clean. Note, many hotels have more offerings for breakfast, but they will be very hard pressed to surpass the quality we enjoyed and at the price we paid ~ terrific value. In departing I got to meet the manager, Samantha. She asked more than once if we had a pleasant stay. If more Best Westerns had this level service I would visit more of them!
We stayed last weekend because it was close to Veno Oasi where my daughter was getting married. Samantha, the manager, was stellar from start to finish. She helped everyone with their rooms and stayed in touch with me for the eight months before the wedding. She was always so positive and accommodating. This Best Western has recently been renovated and everything was clean and shiny. The suite was spacious and we rented the conference room for a hospitality suite. Everyone went out of their way to make the weekend special for our guests! If you are staying in this area, this is the hotel for you.
This is an $85 room on a good day. Don't know why they would think this a $175 room. Should have passed on it! Vinyl floors gave a sense of coldness to the room. Appeared to have been redecorated recently but still lacking in appearance for a room at that price.
If you're looking to stay outside of Durham this place is great! Very friendly staff, nice rooms, fitnesa center, outsoor pool and free breakfast, all that you could ask for. Would stay here again if in the area!
We love staying at the Best Western Butner Creedmoor Inn! The staff are always incredible, especially Samantha, who goes the extra mile to be sure you have everything you need. I have never experienced the level of service we receive from her from ANY other hotel chain. She is definitely an asset to this business!
I used this hotel to reserve a block of room for my Wedding out of town guests. The staff was very friendly and helpful on my end blocking rooms and my family LOVED the hotel. They complimented the renovations and comfort.
The hotel is fantastic! It is very clean! My mother, daughter and I stay here every time we visit my nephew. The staff is wonderful! Great breakfast! Quick check in and out. Love it! The employees always remember us and take great care of us. Like visiting family there as well.
I loved the friendly front desk, and appearance of hotel. They were so accommodating. Breakfast was delicious, with a large selection of hot and cold items. We wIll definitely stay at Best Western, Creedmoor again!
We frequently stay at Best Western but what a mistake this was. The room was like a jail cell but was bigger. The floor was hard, cold linoleum, the beds were incredibly hard, the bed linens were minimal and thread bare. And it was weirdly uncomfortable because the hotel obviously had a contract with some work crews. When we got there it was after 4 and their shift was done and they were hanging around the outside and in the lobby in work clothes watching the women. My husband said not to go any where in the hotel alone. And usually BW has a nice comp breakfast. Not this one. The bathrm set up was strange. The toilet and tub was in a small room bit the sink was immediately to your right as one walked in. As u stood in front of the sink washing your face, etc, if the door opened it would totally side swipe you. Our cost with BW membership and AAA membership was in the $130's. Needless we fled there early the next morning.
Samantha is amazing. I called to block rooms and she goes above and beyond to help you and answer all your questions. Def contact her for any needs!!!! Amazing customer service. Spelled everything out in detail, answered questions that I didn't even think of. GREAT!!!
I stayed at this hotel recently as part of a wedding party. It was an excellent value for the money - a clean, quiet comfortable hotel with a friendly and professional staff. I would definitely recommend this hotel, and will stay there again when I am in the area.
This Best Western location offered a clean room with all amenities working, good customer service & easy checkout. The location was least than 10 minutes from my meeting location at the hospital. My stay was enjoyable!
Stayed here along with about 20 family and friends for a wedding in the area. Very clean and nice. Recently updated rooms. Wonderful staff, Sam was amazing in helping us plan a private party there and went out of her way to assist specific rooon requests. All of the staff, Julius, the breakfast hostess and cleaning and maintenance staff were friendly, helpful and cheerful, something you don't often encounter. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area.
Had an old style feel, no elevator, just a chair lift. But a staircase leading to the upstairs rooms was nice had an eloquent feel. Breakfast nook in the corner for morning breakfast. Room was superb. Laminate floors comfortable bed with ample lighting. Was comfortable. Almost like home
The staff is rude, the rooms are out dated and old. This place is garbage. If you go here you're sure to experience hell. The room was dirty, the shower was broken and they hold on to their towel like they're handing out gold bars. There are cheaper places near by, or better yet cheaper and more friendly, well maintained places near the air port
If you want the best there is in a motel and you are not planning to go to Creedmore, change your plans. The Best Western in Creedmore is where you will experience G Heaven on Earth. The entire staff under the angelic manager, Samantha, will treat you to a heavenly experience. They exude the type of warmth and love (yes love) that you only get from family. . . and it is GENUINE. They anticipate your needs before you even realize that you want something. The lobby, rooms, pool and outside areas are beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. Book your stay and you will be in Heaven! Marjorie E.
Great place to stay..I stay here at every week for business and nothing but first class service..Very clean staff are very polite...Always looking forward to my next stay..Would never expect to find a hotel this great in such a small area?? If your ever near by you should stop in.. Willie Thomas
whenever we stay at Best Western Creedmoor, NC they are always very wonderful hosts. Samantha and Julius always very happy to welcome us. It is very nice to be remembered by name. They make sure what ever we need it. Always go that extra mile to see that we are happy. All the staff is very pleasant and friendly. Breakfast area always clean and great food. The room is always clean and they make sure everything is comfortable. It is our home away from home and we wouldn't go anywhere else. It is a short drive away from the Medical Facilities we need to go to. your what type of trip reason is not available in choices. It is not business, it is Medical
Sam and Samantha greeted me by my 1st name and gave me and my children exceptional attention, the pool was nice and clean . Samantha personally call me to let me know I have left a piece of jewelry in the Room and let me know that she can save it until I have the opportunity to come and pick it up. Now that's what I'm talking about!
The Best Western Butner Creedmoor Inn was a wonderful place to stay for our daughter wedding weekend. I worked with Samantha to arrange the needed rooms to include booking the meeting room for the rehearsal dinner. Samantha was amazing. She helped with so many details to include rooms for the bridal party, some out of town guest and some of the groomsmen. The staff was so nice and went out of their way to make our special weekend amazing. I would highly recommend this hotel. It is conveniently located just off I-85 and is a quick drive into Raleigh.
We booked this hotel for our wedding party and guest. The whole experience was amazing! The entire staff was so courteous and willing to to what it took to make the weekend great. The rehearsal dinner was in the meeting room and it went off beautifully. I have to say a special thanks to Samantha. She was so professional and helped make the bride and groom's dreams come true. I would highly recommend this hotel to all travelers.
This is such a wonderful clean place. The employees are so sweet and go out of their way to make you happy. We love staying here every time we come to visit. They make sure we have plenty of towels as well as know where to go for anything we need. Thank you
We stayed there for a baseball tournament. Hotel was clean and updated with a good pool and breakfast! Samantha goes above and beyond to make sure your stay is perfect. She is a blessing to your hotel.
I have stayed here for over 10 years. I have stayed in each season and the hotel has not disappointed us. The staff has been great each visit even through the remodels staff made the accommodation's very pleasant. We have seen the hotel go through the different ownerships without a problem.
Due to a mistake in previous hotel reservations, we had to make new hotel reservations at another hotel at the last minute. Fortunately BW was able to accommodate us with two hotel rooms. The gentleman who checked us in was very professional and polite. On Saturday, Samantha who worked at the desk was also very helpful. We had a small incident which she jumped in right away to help us with. She provided pool towels and room towels to my girls as often as they needed them, and always with a smile. She provided information about ordering pizza and she even called our room to see if we needed anything else before she finished her shift. While my girls sat in the eating area on their phones and tablets, I sat in the lobby and got a chance to converse with Samantha. She was professional, polite and personable all at the same time. While in the lobby, I noticed how courteous she was to all of the guests, whether checking in, making inquiries, etc. I was surprised to see her again on Sunday when we were checking out! Samantha made our short stay at BW one of the best hotel visits I've had in quite awhile. You have an awesome employee in Samantha. You do realize that BW, don't you??? Oh, and by the way, my mother and my sister who stayed in another room thought she was great too.
Stayed here 1 night, sleeping was good, Internet was strong, Breakfast had to many carbs for those who are diabetic but did have some protein. Breakfast staff was the only person we saw in the morning, no one was at the desk for the key return.
I always stay at this hotel when traveling to visit my sister. The staff is extremely helpful and pleasant to talk with! The renovation of the hotel has come a long way. The pool area is very beautiful.
Julian and Samantha are fabulous!! They keep the hotel safe, clean and they are very hospitable!! I have stayed at this hotel many times and the staff is the same which speaks volume! They care about each person that walks through the door!
Butner, N.C, ( just North of Durham) was not the place we planned on staying during a recent road trip. However, we were so glad we made this stop. While there are only the usual fuel and fast food stops at this exit, this BW Hotel is a 'gem'. Clean & quiet, a professional courteous staff is at your service. We were only there for a good nights rest and that's exactly what we got ! There is a nice pool, fitness room and breakfast if you need it. So if your ever looking for nice place to 'lay your head', stay at this beautiful BW in Butner.
Staff are wonderful, especially Samatha at front desk! From arranging the stay, checking in and out Samatha made out stay a wonderful experience! The rooms were clean and the food for breakfast was good! Over all our stay was a great experience!
Samantha went out of her way to make our stay wonderful. She left a note and treat for our daughter when she overheard her birthday was coming up. She cleaned the bride's room when we left it a mess after getting ready and made little touches happen to give it romance.
Our family stayed here from June 4 - June 9, 2017. Our home is recently behind on construction and this week was our kids' last week of school. We don't have any family in the local area and our nearest relatives are 60 miles away but we didn't want to commute due to the end of grade tests this week. The staff at Best Western were so understanding, helpful and professional with us. Julius booked us late Saturday evening and Samantha checked us in that Sunday afternoon. I think Samantha could see the distress I was in and she was extremely comforting. Once we were checked in, she actually called our room before she ended her shift to check on us! They have great continental breakfast with a waffle maker in the dining area so my kids ate very well every morning before school. Ms. Carolyn runs the breakfast and dining area and she always greeted everyone every morning. There is a nice pool outside and for families like ours that may require a few days to stay, there is a laundry room to wash clothes. Sanitation and service is A+ here and I recommend this hotel and staff to anyone in the Creedmoor area!
The beds were dirty and very uncomfortable, worst bed I've ever slept on in my life. I paid extra to stay here, but my family stayed in the cheaper one across the street. It was better. The shower whistled very loudly entire shower and they are very greedy with their towels. The pool is tiny and the staff was rude. Skip it
I have Stage 4 lung cancer. Several people suggested I look into medical marijuana. I discussed this along with other things with the receptionist. I thought we had a pleasant conversation. I have never purchased, owned or used medical marijuana. I was surprised to receive a $100 charge to my credit card. When I contacted the Creedmoor Hotel they indicated the charge was for using medical marijuana. I told them I do not use medical marijuana. They refused to issue a credit, thus requiring me to file a dispute with the credit card company. I am also seeking legal council regarding filing a criminal complaint. I've learned that it is impossible to reason with irrational (or insane) people. I is best just to stay aware. It would be wise to avoid the Best Western in Creedmoor, North Carolina.
The Staff was friendly, caring, and helpful. My room was one of the renovated ones. It was pleasing and had all the comforts of home. The bed was comfy and best of all... no bedbugs! The hotel is located near the highway exit and in walking distance to spirits, snacks, and restaurants. We woke up in time for the self-serve breakfast bar. It was very good...lots of choices. The things I liked best were the Staff, the comfortable lobby, and the wrap around parking lot... safe for a morning walk/jog. The thing I liked least about our visit was that the air conditioning vent rattled the first night. We figured it out the next day... problem solved. The ice cream machine was out of order. It was going to be repaired or replaced. The front desk had ice cream sandwiches available, if you really had a craving. One of the things I liked the most was the local pizza place. Their food was delicious, service friendly, and they were only a 5-8 minute drive from the Inn. All in all, I would return in a minute for a visit.
We stay here every year and are very pleased with the accommodations, they just renovated the 1st floor so the rooms were clean, and look good, only trouble was the toilet, the new one they put in did not work properly, other than that will stay there again.
Staff is wonderful! Very clean and beds are comfortable. We stay every month and are thankful not to have anything to worry about when we check in. We even got moved to our favorite room this past trip!
Excellent and Warm reception area. You'll think I'm crazy, but lighting is everything. For my husband and I on travel trips, we stay in a different hotel every night so when I walk into a lobby or room that has rediculous flourescent lighting I am grieved, perplexed and not relaxed at all. NOT SO with the Creedmoor Best Western. I walked into the most relaxed and serene lighted lobby. So grateful for the extra effort taken to create an enjoyable atmostphere when first arriving.
The new management team (husband and wife) remind you of owners of a boutique hotel in Europe or staff in big city Marriott or Ritz Carlton. The rooms are rooms (clean and well appointed) but the warm genuine welcoming feeling that Samantha displayed at arrival and departure is what you'll remember
I was in town for reasons I wish i was not! The staff was very kind and sympathetic to the reason for my visit. The room was wonderful, staff was wonderful and they made a not so pleasant visit to town a wonderful experience. Thank you so much. Will visit again!
There are only a handful of hotels in the nearby area and this is the best one. It's still not great and I think a bit overpriced for what you get. Except for price it's comfortable, clean and safe. A good breakfast and the staff was very friendly.
The room was very clean, and very comfortable. The staff knew that i would not make breakfast, so they fixed me a bag to take with me that morning; This is one of the best rooms i have stayed at. Not to mention the staff.
It was an older lady staff .. she is not friendly. She acts like she doesnt like her job.She rushes people out of breakfast. She speaks to some guess but ignores others. They need to get more of a variety of breakfast food. The younger lady that is a manager i believe is AWESOME now she knows customer service!! Friendly staff by the name of Juious. It was overall ok
Very impressed by the hotel and staff. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. Staff were very friendly and very hospitable. The room and bed were comfortable. I had no issues sleeping. Breakfast was adequate. I would stay here again.
We were here for 2 nights to attend a wedding. Everyone is very friendly. Check in and out was quick. Breakfast was as good or better then most hotels in this range. Rooms were clean and comfortable with micro and refrig. Free wifi. It was very quiet. Glad we chose Best Western. Thanks to the staff of this hotel
I just stayed here for a Duke game and I was really happy with how clean the rooms were! They make the beds tight which I love and the towels and sheets are good quality. Breakfast was included, the coffee was strong and the staff was friendly & helpful... I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in the area!
We use this hotel regularly when we travel to Creedmoor for business. The staff are eager to please and always go the extra mile to ensure that we are comfortable, the rooms are clean and great food places are only minutes away. The location is excellent with easy access to I85 (to Durham) and Hwy 50 (to Raleigh).
The staff was very friendly at the desk.. The room, while small, was clean and well appointed. The complimentary breakfast was well stocked and the food was well prepared. I would highly recommend this property to anyone who want a good room at a great value.
We always stay here when we are in creedmoor. very convenient location close to I85 and food choices. This location does have a small pool, workout room, and lots of parking. The staff is nice and works with your situation. The breakfast in the morning is Hot and they do have some choices. If you are here for a while, you will get bored of it since it does not change. That's about my only issue with this location.
Stayed over two weeks at the best western, excellent room service, breakfast is also excellent and I'm always impressed by the polite and very professional staff as this is my third time I stayed here. Overall, very impressed and I would recommend this place to family and friends in the area
The room was extremely dirty especially the corners in the bathroom. The fridge in room has a loud humming noise. When I complained about the room cleanliness, I was countered by saying at least the towels and linens were clean.
unhappy about price for a smoking room, because nonsmoking room was unavailable. They could have offered a discounted price for the smoking room. I couldn't sleep in the room due to the smell of smoke. For this area I didn't know that it would cost so much. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to any one that would stay in this area, maybe a nonsmoking room would have been better for me I don't know.
Front desk staff were very caring and helpful! Went to a wedding and checked in around 11pm- very friendly and made late check-in super easy! We accidently overslept and ended up checking out around 12:30, all the staff were very understanding and let us take our time! Overall- very impressed. Would recommend staying here to family and friends in the area!
I recently had shoulder surgery so my arm is in a sling. The very cheerful and very nice young lady who checked me in insisted on personally moving our luggage from the car to our room even though my wife and I could have done so. Every time we passed through the lobby she greeted us with a big smile. She even offered us homemade cookies. She really made our stay pleasant. The room was also very clean and well equipped, and the breakfast was good. I will definitely use this hotel again if the opportunity comes up.
A beautiful and very unique hotel, clean and comfortable. My compliments to the team, the level of customer service from all of their team was outstanding without exception. On arrival, I was greeted by Manalaikah, who even gave me a welcome package with snacks and water. From that moment on each member of their team I encountered was so helpful and they all had a smile on their face – sadly this is not common these days, which makes their service level STAND OUT EVEN MORE. I haven't walked by or pass by a single member of staff without them acknowledging my presence with a friendly smile, a hello or an enquiry as to whether they could be of assistance – I am very impressed. Highly recommended.
I was given a call prior to my checked in informing me that my special request would be fulfilled by the hotel, well done. Upon arrival was greeted by Samantha and was even given a welcome package containing a bottle of water and some snacks. The hotel also provided a welcome cup of wine in the lobby. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Breakfast was ready at 6am, we ate the hot breakfast and left the hotel fully satisfied that morning.
Staff friendly and helpful. Very clean. I would recommend this Hotel. Other hotel in the area are not up to standards. Convenient to I/85 north. No elevator but has lift for luggage. Please request first floor if you have trouble climbing stairs.
Me and my wife had the opportunity to stay here over night while traveling to DC on vacation. The front desk staff was very friendly and accomm- odating. We found the rooms to be very clean and very comfortable. They also serve a very nice complimentary breakfast. When we went down for breakfast that morning we had a small misunderstanding about breakfast time with a staff member, which was quickly corrected by the lady at the front desk who made sure we had breakfast and was happy. The manage- ment team called and followed up to make Sure everything was ok. Hats off to Malika and Sam. We really appreciate your kindness. Take care Ricks family. We traveled on August 20, 2016.
The check in process was very easy. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Very easy to find, right off of I-85 with plenty of restaurants in the area.I recommend staying here on your next trip. Its where i'll be staying on my next trip to the Creedmoor area
Best B.W. We have ever stayed in cause the room was super clean, comfortable bed and nice bedding, and a wonderful breakfast. It has been a long time since we have been provided with a great breakfast that included sausages, eggs, pumpkin-spice waffles, juices and other additional food items. All staff were so upbeat and positive. Staff made us feel so welcome and just very nice folks.
We have stayed at many hotels, motels, and condos; nowhere have we been treated with such congeniality, service, and effort to make our visit as pleasant as possible, from check-in to check-out, from first visit to the last. We visit the area frequently and we would never consider checking in anywhere else. The owners and desk staff know our names and are always pleased to see us, not just for our business but because they genuinly like their customers. There are good restaurants nearby, especially a little place called Pizzamia, great bruchetta. Of course, a good, hot breakfast is always served at the Creedmore Inn. If you are in the area or traveling on I85, you can't go wrong at the Creedmore Inn. A+ service, good prices, and clean, pleasant rooms. See you soon, Samantha. Save 119 for us. Patsy O., Georgia
We stayed the night while driving into DC, after experiencing some bad weather. I'll start by saying this hotel is a slight bit dated but it is clean. Also the young lady at the front desk was very courteous and very professional. What I didn't like was the treatment we received from one of the staff members. They offer a continental breakfast and we overslept almost missing breakfast, but the young lady at the front desk when we called down held some cereal, coffee and a couple of Bagels for us which was very nice. Soon as we sat down in the dining area which is open to all guests, an over zealous woman/employee started vacuuming the the dining room. Now it wasn't bad enough that the vacuum was loud but She had the nerve to come to our table vacuuming all under our table and around our feet. Is that or is that not rude? Than I guess she decided that we were in her way because she stopped vacuuming and asked us Could we come back a little later after she was done. And no I'm not making this up nor am I exagg- erating. I am dead serious. My wife was dead serious too, she went right to the front desk and opened it right up. The girl at the front said she would handle it, the manager was out of town. The manager called the end of the week and apologized. This is what he said.. We have sent that employee home for a week without pay. When she comes back we will retrain her. We are giving you a credit to your credit card. Now all of that Sounds absolutely wonderful until i found out the credit is for a whopping $10 dollars, on a $115 dollar bill. What am I missing? I guess he wasn't that sorry. And I highly doubt they followed through on the corrective action for the employee. Either way, I won't be back. The one star is for the girl at the front desk And to write the review. I'll probably call the DM just because. This happened in August but I reported it to C/S and I was giving them time to get back to me before posting my review.
Best hotel in long time and I've stayed all over country. Prior to booking, they offered to clean carpet just to make sure I was comfortable there. All the air units had just been completely cleaned. Air quality was very good which is important to me. Of course, everything else was clean. Inside lobby there was cool water and two bottles of some beverage (didn't pay attention but looked like could have been wine) also available for free. I had to wait for a family member and sat in lobby for few minutes where there was a television on which made it give a home-like atmosphere. Normally, a TV would be annoying to me but this was set just right. Coffee, and warm beverages available 24/7. Free breakfast was adequate. The owners are wanting to update a few things. I'd definitely keep the beautiful chandelier hanging at bottom of staircase. Honestly, the only thing I saw was the entrance to the outdoor pool was awkward since there was no entrance directly from hotel into to pool area but had to go outside and around building.
You could not ask to be treated better here. The staff are pleasant and so eager to help you enjoy your stay. For the traveling business person, this location met all of my needs, and I was able to get my work complete in the care of their attentive and delightful employees. I highly recommend this location to any weary traveler.
I cannot say enough about this hotel, as well as the amazing staff and management. From the moment you walk in the door, until you check out, you are greeted by the most attentive staff. They genuinely care about your experience, they want to know how they can make your stay the best and they go above and beyond. The price is great, the hotel is clean and I truly feel at home whenever I stay. I have numerous choices of places to stay when I am in the area but there is no way I would stay anywhere but here.
Very clean not to bad prices very nice staff there. We are happy with our stay here every time we come. Now since the new owners too fixing up outside nice. The inside few changes. Looking forward to the other new changes they will make.
I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Best Western in Creedmoor/Butner area of North Carolina! All of the staff are excellent there. The first person I came in contact with was J., checking in late at night, but he was very pleasant and welcoming. He also had the ability to make me feel safe, as I was traveling alone, and also just moved to the area. Next, was Carol, "M," and the lovely owners Sam and wife, "M." I do not want to spell their names wrong, but all of the staff were excellent. I also met a wonderful family, with whom I had breakfast with and made friends with. I am so happy to be staying in Creedmoor, NC and this hotel stay was one of the best of my life experiences. Let me point out...it is not about the amentities of a hotel, but the staff that make a stay one to compliment on trip advisor. Thank you!!
I was attending a wedding at Vino Oasi and stayed here for the weekend. The room was great, clean, neat, everything I could ask for. The beds were very comfortable. The staff was great, very friendly and welcoming. We returned late one evening and my friend wanted a glass of milk. Everything had already closed in town but the night desk clerk got her some milk from the kitchen. It was those little things that made a great weekend even better. While they don't have an elevator, they do have a wheelchair lift that you can use if needed, although you can't get the cart on it. When I arrived, the desk clerk helped me to carry my stuff to my room. I was very pleased and would stay there again if i ever needed to.
Hotel was clean and comfortable got agood nights sleep. Breakfast at the hotel was good. Front desk staff were friendly and helpful recommended stay if your in the area..The science center is 12 miles away and is awesome for young children.
Our experience was excellent with everything, good services, location and food. The front desk was really nice. I will stay there in future. We stayed with my family. The hotel is clean, breakfast is excellent, the room size is good, the bathroom is a little small.
I used to stay at the Hilton in Henderson NC. They were not ADA compliant. I tried to stay at another place and found the Best Western in Creedmoor NC. The customer service is one of the best I have ever experienced. The service is great and the room is very clean. These people go out of their way to be ADA compliant. I will stay at this Hotel in the future. I have already booked a room on my return to home. This place has everything from Food to Gas in the close proximity of the Hotel. Much better than the Hilton in Henderson.
The hotel staff was excellent, the room was clean and the stay was very affordable! I brought my 6 year old daughter with me to visit family, she loved the pool! Everybody was was friendly and very courteous!! I would highly recommend this hotel!! The owners have done an excellent job with this hotel! They were very professional and courteous!! We will definitely be back when in the area again!!
My son and I stay in the Creedmoor area quite often to attend baseball tournaments. This location is very convenient as it is only about 5 minutes from the local athletic park. The quality for the price is excellent and the staff has always been very accommodating and efficient.
I have stayed at this hotel several times in the past 5 years while attending my family reunion. The staff is always friendly and accommodating. The overall room was great, but the pillows were flat and the shower stall needed to be replaced - especially compared to the rest of the room, which was good. We had what looked like a brand new TV, but each time you turned it off, it lost its HDMI/cable connection, which was annoying.
We used this hotel for a mission trip for our youth. The hotel staff made sure we had everything we needed. The pool was a nice break after a hard days work. The front desk was friendly and check in and check out went very smoothly.
Hotel employees were very nice and attentive. Home cooking restaurant 1 block away. Small grocery store and pharmacy nearby. Easy access to I-85. Beds are comfortable and the breakfast was fresh and delicious.
I haven't stayed at a Best Western in over a year. Maybe they've all improved their breakfast, but I found this one to be especially good. Wider variety than I expected. Room was clean. Bed comfortable. Pool closes surprisingly early. 8:30 p.m. when we were there. Hard to get settled in and have quality pool time that early, especially with Daylight Saving Time.
I have stayed here several times before in pass 2 years. I think the new owners are trying to fix it up. Outside looks great and the door now works. It looks like few new items were changed in lobby nice appearance
stayed there for a family reunion in the area. i was greatly satisfied with hotel. staff was super nice, rooms was ready 2hours before check in time clean and smelled fresh. i was so pleased that i booked my room for next year at check out.
loved the place staff was very nice rooms were clean would def come back here again. maids were very nice and friendly did an excellent job cleaning the rooms front desk was very helpful with information about the area
Service exceptional, room and hallways extremely clean, breakfast good and exercise equipment at this location. I do wish that all Best Western rooms would have better quality pillows not just this particular location. No noise from the room. Great location for access to Duke and North Carolina universities.
We were visiting for a softball tournament. The rooms were adequate, nothing extra special but clean and comfortable. The stand out point for this hotel was the staff. Check in staff was very kind and helpful, even able to accommodate early check in for 4 rooms with no questions asked. I had several conversations with the manager (not for room issues) and she was very helpful, polite and kind. Would recommend this hotel if ever traveling to this area again!
We went to the area because we were visiting family in Oxford. We arrived very tired because our flight was delayed but when we arrived late in the evening our keys were ready and our papers were ready to sign as well. That made it very quick and easy for us. We stayed in one of the suites which was very clean and spacious. The towels were fresh and clean and the staff was very attentive. I was very happy with my stay and will be back.
The new management is great! Our children had a great time, family friendly, and very clean. The employees were so welcoming, and friendly. Everyone was so accommodating. We could not have asked for a better time. Management brought our children ice cream by the pool, and even went out and bought pool toys (per our 6 year olds request.) I HIGHLY recommend staying here- worth every penny!!
This property is located convenient to I-85. The facility is relatively modern and is situated away from road noise. Furnishings are updated and the rooms are clean. Internet is reliable and channel selection adequate. If there was an elevator, I was not aware of it and so had to carry luggage to the second floor. The desk clerk was friendly and helpful. The parking lot is well let and secluded from other businesses.
We were looking for accommodations near Camp Butner and this was an excellent choice. We are already thinking about booking this hotel for next May's events. It is close to the interstate and there are good restaurants nearby.
I travel 4 days a week for work, and I am very happy to have found this location. It will be my go-to whenever I'm near Durham now. Very nice, super-clean rooms, friendly and knowledgeable front desk and staff, plus they offer a complimentary breakfast, which I appreciate in the busy mornings. The pool looks lovely as well. During my stay, I chatted with one of the managers (very friendly, helpful, and conscientious guy), and the hotel is under new management. They're definitely customer-focused, and I found everyone to be genuinely welcoming and professional at the same time. It makes such a nice difference -- especially when you travel as much as I have to. Short of it: Highly Recommend!
I was pleasantly surprised with this property. Front desk staff, Seimko, was pleasant, professional and went above and beyond to address all my needs. This hotel was clean, quiet, and very comfortable.
Can't say enough for the staff extremely nice! They ran out of quarters at the front desk and the Manger, was going to give me some out of his car now that's going above and beyond! Rooms are nice and updated clean and smell nice! breakfast was great and couldn't be happier with my stay!
Great staff, friendly and disabled veterans welcomed. Clean and the staff where very nice and went out of their way to help make our stay very pleasant. Hot coffee always fresh. Great breakfast. Comfortable beds.
This is my third time staying at the Best Western in Creedmoor since Aug 2015. My daughter attends University at Chapel Hill and this Best Western allows me to come visit her throughout the year without breaking the bank. With less than 15 min drive to Durham, and only 20 min to Campus, I am never in a hurry during morning rush hour. The building itself is new construction and the rooms have a colorfully modern theme. In short, the rooms are clean, the staff is well trained, and the new management always greets me by last name (a wonderfully personal touch to know the places you frequent and patronize actually remember you). I honestly can not see myself staying anywhere else during my daughters next 3 years at Chapel Hill.
Room 113 had a TERRIBLE basement smell and it made me feel sick. We did not ask for another room nor complain because we were there to sleep, wake and go, after 8 hours of driving. It was far from worth the $99. we prepaid. I would have asked for a new room but my husband was exhausted so we sucked it up. I will not stay at Best Western again after that experience. I usually do not complain but this hotel needs to clean the air in there for health reasons!
My son and I stopped here instead of staying in Durham. Since we had a car with us, we were able to get into Durham pretty quickly. We stayed the night and got a room with double beds which was clean and comfortable. The night staff was exceptionally polite, friendly and helpful. We got in late and asked for extra towels which were brought up right away. The beds were comfortable and I slept well. We had a nice hot breakfast in the morning which was free and we were on our way. Overall - a great stay I had no complaints. I will be sure to check out more of this chain when traveling.
Traveling down I-85 from New York, took a break and decided to stay here. Hotel was nice and and clean, had a good night's sleep. Opted to skip breakfast and headed into Durham in the morning- was a 10-15 min drive. Overall recommended, clean, good rate and friendly staff. Would stay again.
Not very happy at check in. Had reserved smoke free room but was booked in smoking room. Told it was $20 to switch and this is common when discount websites don't specify. Big issue was a $150 incidental charge required to charge to my credit card since reservation was made thru Trip Advisor and my card was not on file. Charge was to be reversed at check out. 40 years of travel and have never heard of this. 2 hours later to inform home office had authorized them to waive $150 deposit. Still to mad to check to see if final bill was more or less than what was quoted by Trip Advisor.
The room was clean and comfortable. The beds were kind of lumpy and while I had no problem sleeping my wife did have a problem. The complimentary breakfast was very food with a great variety. The staff was very professional and courteous.
The staff was excellent. The room was clean and furnished well. Our room face the front of the building which gave nice light during the day. The reception area was spacious and nicely set-up with a couch and Flat screen TV. The breakfast area was well stocked and kept very clean. The overall appearance of the entire Best Western was very good. I would recommend this hotel. The only downside was the pull out sofa bed which needed a new mattress.
Stayed for one night for Thanksgiving. We stay here whenever we come to town since it's close to family. The hotel is always clean and the check in always quick. Hotel offers free wi-fi and a hot breakfast. We've never had a bad stay here.
The hotel was very new looking. Everything was clean and stylish. The bathroom (tub - toilet room) was pretty small. The sink & mirror area was separate, which has some advantages. The bedroom was comfy and quiet and had mw & fridge. The fitness center had good quality equipment, but not much of it - 1 treadmill, 1 exercise bike & 1 combo weight pulley thing. I had no problem, though, because I was the only 1 in the center. Staff was pleasant and helpful
Stayed for one night while in town for a funeral. The hotel was very reasonably priced, clean, and the front desk staff friendly. Our room was certainly adequate, with a mini-fridge and microwave as well as coffee maker. The bathroom was very tiny, and the sink/mirror were located across from the bathroom, which is good when two people are getting up and ready at once. The color scheme of the room was very odd, though. The walls were painted a pale yellow-green with a deep teal accent wall, and the bedding and curtains had colors of rust and gold. Very strange. The lobby and breakfast area were fine, and the small pool looked pretty nice, too, though we didn't get to use it. On check-out, we had to wait at an unattended front desk while the front desk clerk, who was also tending to the breakfast area, was vacuuming! Talk about multi-tasking!
UPDATE! The manager, Mr. Patel called my husband this morning to apologize for the $150.00 smoking charge. Apparently, it should have been an adjacent room. He is also going to refund the charge. We were very pleased that he personally called to take care of the situation. He said he wants to have a good relationship with all of his customers. In today's world people don't seen to offer customer service any more. We will continue to stay at this Best Western. It is the cleanest, safest and most convenient to everything. It is off of the mail road so you don't get a lot of "road" noise. Thank you Mr. Patel for your fine customer service!!!
Beware of the smoking Smoking Scam - We were charged $150.00 two days after we checked out of the hotel for "smoking in the room". Called person working and she said I had to talk to manager Mr. Patel which I will be doing tomorrow. Called bank and Disputed Transaction!! BEWARE!!!
TV service should have been fixed before renting the room front desk said we'll call the cable man at 9:00 pm i don't think so. But the room was super clean. Ask front desk for extra towels had to have the room number. But didn't need the room number when the TV was out. Overall had a great stay. Locked down pool area just wanted set down and have a place to talk. Not outside in the smoking area beside the front door were people enter the hotel. Maybe a few tables and chairs outside. Would have been nice! Thanks next year we'll do it once more. Let's see if they look into this little COMMENT!!
Had to stay here on a business trip. Room appeared nice and clean. Bathroom was in okay shape. They do have a small outdoor pool that was open. Front desk staff in the morning could have been more friendly but all in all it was a good experience.
The rooms are clean, the staff is very helpful and cordial, the internet works and the breakfast was good, and the rates are competitive. I will stay there again. I was there for a competition being held at Camp Butner. The evening before the match, I got together with some friends for an impromptu party for about 45 people. We purchased beverages and snacks for people to join us in the breakfast area. We were all quite orderly. Afterward, the night staff person helped us clean up and get everything orderly. He was gracious and helpful.
The front staff was friendly, but after that the stay went downhill. The room was stale smelling upon entry. The towels and washcloths had seen better days, The sink and shower did not drain well. The bed linens were dull from years of usage. This hotel is a great bargain, if you are not looking for quality. This hotel also placed unwarranted charges on my credit card and started they would not remove them until the next business day. Very Disappointing.
It doesn't look so amazing on the outside, although compared to the hotel next to it it looks like the Taj Mahal. The lobby, though, is beautiful, with a grand staircase and a gorgeous pool just outside. The room was excellent even by Best Western standards. The internet was spotty & weak. My check-in was quick, although not as cheerful as usual and there was no one at the desk for check-out. I'll stay here again, but I hope they boost their Wi-Fi range.
This was a very nice hotel. The staff was friendly, the rooms were clean, and the food was good. I would highly recommend. The hotel was a little out of the way, but still close enough to Durham and Chapel Hill.
