Resumen de la reserva
The next day I left the hotel I found bed bug bites on different parts of my body. This might seem not too bad, but definitely very disgusting and total lack of care from the hotel staff. This policy should be changed to a daily room cleaning instead of only upon request.
Typical Best Western hotel but there was room for improvement. Overall, the room was fine. My only gripes would be housekeeping lacks attention to small details. Our toilet seat was cracked at the joint and very loose, by the end of our stay it had finished breaking. The trash cans were horribly dirty (not wiped out). Luckily they use liner bags but the inside of the can was so sticky it ripped the bag when trying to take it out, not to mention it had an odor. I attempted to rinse out with hot water but that was not enough. Needs a thorough cleaning or replacement of the dated metal cans. Coworker mentioned the trash cans were the same in their rooms. Edges of the tile floor in the bathroom area needed cleaned more thoroughly, particularly around toilet area. I really enjoyed the coffee machine in the lobby, it offered hot chocolate, latte and mocha as well. Breakfast was typical but very full, fresh and a large breakfast food to enjoy it. Lots of sitting area outside. It doesn't mention online however there is a microwave in the room, which is a luxury I have come to appreciate. Kcup compatible coffee makers in room, the laundry area was clean and a fair rate. The dryers didn't seem to dry very well, I had to redo one of my loads to get them dry. But for a fair rate of $1 I was happy to do so.
I travel a lot on business and enjoy staying here (at least 5 times) because of its consistency: Staff is friendly, the grounds are maintained and decorated in seasonal display, the public areas are clean, as are the rooms. Lovely huge courtyard with fire pit area, pool, spa, game and grass areas. I travel with my pet and there are always baggies in the stands placed strategically around the premises in grassy areas. Parking is good, and security makes the rounds. Breakfast buffet is varied and plentiful, and can be enjoyed until 930. A definite plus is the onsite restaurant- no need to drive out for a meal once checked in. Overall a very pleasant inn. Note: currently some renovation in some back units.
Loved our stay here!! Everything was perfect location, service, amenities, coffee and bed. We decided to stay at BW along our cross country road trip. Went BW in Cheyenne, Wyoming and changed our minds after that. This location however is the BEST!! Thank you BW in Burley Idaho we hope your location is recognized for its standards.
We arrived and had a bit of confusion where the actual front door was. We kept seeing signs for the Budget Motel. This was definitely a motel type of building. Driving around we located the front and checked in. The Budget Motel is a recently(?) acquired sister property, I believe that is further around the building. The motel experience was a bit different than what I was expecting but the room was updated and clean. Everything was in perfect order. The A/C/heat unit was quiet and worked well. The room was more spacious than I had originally expected. I slept very well and comfortably. Don't judge things by the first impressions sometimes. The breakfast was the usual fare but they has both strawberry and blueberry preserves for the waffles which was very tasty. The person handling the breakfast room was very attentive and kept everything neat of clean. I would stay here again if in the area.
Great location could be a fantastic place. The room was absolutely filthy The carpet is so old it should be pulled up and tossed in the garbage. It smelled like wet dog or dog urine had to spray suntan lotion that had coconut smell to eliminate some of the horrible smell. The tub backs up and what I don't understand is when the maids are cleaning why don't they report that so we can be alleviated. Could not take a shower in the morning before work because it was so disgusting and the hair all over the wall in the shower was another disgusting thing. There were no Kleenex in the Kleenex box the bathroom door had poop all over it smeared. Could not wait to check out of this room.
It was nice Phones in bathroom was gross but overall nice the conference room nice. The bar tenders were amazing. Friday night they had a one man band he was amazing. We got yelled at the band the next night. Not so good. But the food at the bar and the drinks at the bar was great. The bar tender was very accommodating and was amazing
The management booked an event for the same night that I was staying at the hotel. They gave no warning (email, text, message through app), thus care, to the guests that this event was going to have loud music and karaoke until 1:00am around the pool area; except one printed 8.5” x 11” sign that was on one end of the reception counter. I tried calling the reception desk multiple times around 11:30pm to inquire about the noise, because I did not see the sign at the opposite end of the counter from where I was checked in and nothing was said to me about the event either, only to receive a busy signal. I had to use my cell phone to find the phone number for the hotel and call them from it to find out what was going on. When my call was answered, all that I was told was that “there is a sign posted in the lobby”, no apology or attempt to show empathy or sympathy. The following morning, evidence of the event was strewn about the property; beer cans plastic cups, trash, and even a cooler and BW ice bucket. I was also not thanked at check in for being a rewards member, although the staff member that checked me in was friendly and polite. The hotel room itself was clean and in working condition.
Very nice Best Western. Room very comfortable and clean. We ate at the adjoining Perkins restaurant for dinner. The hotel gives 10% discount, and we didn't have to drive anywhere. Food was good enjoyed the pie. Breakfast included and it was good too. Outdoor pool and hot tub. Exterior nice with manicured lawns and plants.
Location was great closed to restaurants and shopping stores a lot of parking spots for semi trucks but most of best western have cdl discounts but not this one
Best Western Plus Burley had clean rooms and quick check in policy. They have a nice clean pool and hot tub and Perkins restaurant on site. The rooms actually get nice and dark which I appreciate many other hotel room windows let in a lot of light at night and I find it difficult to sleep. They had fresh baked cookies for us and they were great.
The front desk staff worked hard to accommodate our large (200 more or less) group. The convention staff were outstanding each and every day. The chef and her staff did an outstanding job on all our meals. Highly recommended for conventions.
I recently stayed for a couple of nights and had a very good experience with the hotel. Everything from the pre-check in, to the staff friendliness, room cleanliness and restaurant was very good. Close to the freeway but without a lot of freeway noise.
I absolutely love this hotel, we stay here yearly and I'm always impressed by its cleanliness and warm inviting vibe. It has great food, kind staff, a perfect hot tub and grass area that is perfect for family fun.
I stayed here on night two of a road trip. The room was large, comfortable, and had every amenity I needed. While I've experienced higher quality breakfast buffets, it was very good. The hotel has easy access to I-84, and numerous restaurants are nearby. If you have mobility issues, be aware that the property has only one elevator.
The front desk team - Shannon McGuire specifically - was exceedingly kind and thoughtful. I needed a quiet place to have a meeting and she took care to show me a business center that was very quiet. Thank you so much Shannon!
I have stayed at this facility numerous times over the past 20 years and always have had clean and well supplied rooms. they have been accommodating for persons with disabilities. The are very reasonably priced and they are easily accessible from the major Interstate highway and secondary highways. They have a good selection of hot and cold breakfast items that are nourishing and healthy, comparable to the Hilton and Marriott chains.
I booked a couple of rooms to go to the Haunted Mansions of Albion. This hotel was great. Aside from the pool, there was a volleyball court set up, a nice grassy area with picnic tables to visit on and a court to play shuffle board. Multiple places to visit including a gas outdoor fire pit.
The most comfortable bed I've ever slept in, including my own! Absolutely sparkling clean, fast internet and easy connection, wonderfully quiet. There is a population of grackles that nests in the trees and their sweet song was the perfect end to the day—request a room poolside if you want to enjoy them!
We take road trips all year and will never stay here again. I'm handicapped and the stay couldn't have been worse for me. Front desk person clueless and uninterested, had to find out if the room was ready myself and it was after check in, toilet didn't work and room was really run down, onsite restaurant doesn't deliver, my handicap room the farthest room from the restaurant, breakfast and office. At the price I paid this was a horrible experience.
The room was good size and very comfortable. The breakfast was very good. The only thing was they do not thank you for being a Best Western member. All others have in the past. They did a good job otherwise on check-in and out.
This is the nicest Best Western we have ever stayed in and we have stayed in many. Great staff, up-to-date amenities, terrific breakfast, clean rooms looking out onto courtyard and pool, and biscuits for our pup. We will definitely stay here again on our frequent cross country travels.
Was great place to stay. Staff was great. Amenities were great. Close to a lot of places in Burley. I the rooms were clean and well kept. They were close to food, if needed. Pool area was great and so was the gym.
We enjoyed our overnight stay in all respects. The room was clean, comfortable and convenient. The free breakfast offered many choices - either hot or cold. Food was good. We would definitely stay here again!
The room was nice with a comfortable bed and pillows. It has a small refrigerator with a microwave if you want to keep a quick snack. The Internet was poor, was force to use a hot spot to have a working Internet. The breakfast was sufficent nothing fancy miss having a potato with my eggs but there was waffles and pancakes with one different choice with the scramble eggs each day. First day had some kind of egg roll, 2nd day was sausage. They had biscuits with white gravy everyday. There is an onsite Perkins restaurant if you want a full breakfast and want to pay for it.
The place was not clean specifically the bathroom tub mirror and sink the fridge had leftover soda and candy the keurig machine was dirty it had coffee grounds those need to be rinsed out every once in a while I will say it did look newly renovated and the grounds were lovely also my husband asked about a military or senior discount and the front desk person said yes but it was not reflected on the bill good location though the Mexican restaurant next door was very good and the staff there was awesome
The hotel has everything you need - restaurant , bar, pool, outdoor recreation , picnic tables, patio, but also located nearby anything else you might want : restaurants - fast food chains and local and retail shops
From outward appearance this BW seems wonderful but we encountered a few things since I am picky.Very thin walls and we heard the man next door coughing and clearing his throat. Our sheets were old and pitted. It seemed odd how far back the TP was and that the shower gel/shampoo and conditioner were under water shooting at you. I found hairs on the floor in the bathroom along with a bug when we entered. There was some crud left behind on the bathroom counter behind the coffee maker we moved since we needed the bathroom counter space and not the coffee maker. My sister-in-law had a room by the housekeeping and she said the door was often banging. The room next to it 174 (?) had tons of bus in the windowsill. The good I would say was that the grounds were gorgeous, The staff friendly the pillows super large and nice for a king bed. The room had things I appreciated like a full length mirror and towel hooks outside the bathroom. The room looked nice on enter and the bed was made nice and crisp like the employee had taken time to make it look nice.
We stayed overnight on a road trip to WA from TX. The two BEST BWs we've ever stayed at are in Idaho, this being one of them. Quick and easy find right off the highway near gas and restaurants. Charming, cozy exterior and beautiful landscaping, including the back courtyard!! Rare to find a place as nice and inviting as this in today's world, especially at discount/rewards member prices. Room was very comfortable, cozy, quiet, clean, nice amenities. Lobby and interior was very nice as well! We left super early, before the breakfast room and Perkins opened, although the breakfast room looked really nice and great choices from other pictures on here (Perkins - great bonus btw, just wished it was open 24 hours!) Rare to find nice family restaurants attached to/within hotels anymore. Would definitely stay here again - overnight or a longer stay!
My wife and I stayed here on the way to visit her parents twenty-three years ago. Over these past years this has been our hotel of choice to stay at coming and going each summer. We know have three children and pets that enjoy the courtyard and swimming pool while she and I enjoy the bar/lounge services as we watch them enjoy the stay.
We stayed 3 nights and housekeeping only came once. The walls are super thin so we could hear the neighbors talking, coughing, and their alarm and TV at 5am. The bar/lounge needs to open earlier to take some strain off of Perkins as they were always packed and struggled to serve everyone in a timely manner.
Rooms are clean great locations, the staff are friendly, the breakfast changes every morning it's not the same thing over and over. The lounge is awesome enjoy happy hour. the fitness center is great and can't forget the pool and hot tub.
The personnel were very helpful. They were especially friendly and very caring. They were always willing to help any way possible. We were traveling with our pets and they were caring toward them. Friendly caring
Will be only staying at a Best Western hotel from now on! Everything was terrific! The staff was very helpful and friendly! Everything was clean and updated. Breakfast choices were wonderful! The most choices we have had it was great. Wi-Fi worked very well.
Hotel is close to yhe freeway, clean and priced right. Hotel room is clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water. There is a lounge and a restaurant. There is a hot tub and plenty of parking. Can't beat this hotel for the price!
Great! We were welcomed and thanked as part of the frequent guest program, got a bag of treats that included water and snack bars...and even snacks and a welcome note for the dogs! We choose Best Westerns because they are pet friendly and usually have rooms near the pet walk and this was no exception. I seldom eat breakfast, but this hotels offerings were great...I couldn't pass up the biscuit! I will definitely stay here again. The staff was exceptionally friendly, room sparkling clean, and great location close to the highway.
Was an OK room , but basically just a room , No breakfast , noisy folk coming in around 10 to 10:30 PM , rooms seem to be walled with rice paper ..Price seemed a little high for what we got .. Room was clean , no real problems ..
Staff was very friendly. Rooms were clean. Beds were comfy. Lounge was lively and enjoyable. Great location. We traveled in October, so unfortunately the outdoor pool isn't open, it is MT after all! Id definitely stay here again.
Clean and comfortable rooms, nice breakfast and exercise room. 2 Star design room access to the outside over looking a busy, loud road and parking lot, this is NOT a Hotel. Smoking allow directly outside rooms with smoking canisters located directly outside rooms. Pre-registration and request are ignored.
Love staying at this location. Happy staff, and close to the events we travel over there yearly for. The room is always clean and the beds are super comfy. It has a Perkins restaurant attached to it which gives you a discount for staying at the hotel.
Staff was friendly, very clean rooms and common areas. Inviting fall decor throughout the property with pumpkins. Hot tub was nice and warm and easy to walk to. The price was very affordable with my AARP rate.
Room was comfortable and reasonably clean, except bathroom floor could have been wet mopped, bed was awesome, shower was lovely, staff were outstanding, location great - lots of restaurants within walking distance. Overall a great stay.
This hotel had everything we would need for an overnight stay while on a road trip with our two large dogs. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff, bar and restaurant on site, LOTS of grassy areas with pet waste stations, parking for our pickup with trailer, one of the better free breakfasts, and pretty inexpensive. We called for a pet friendly room, and actually booked on the app since it was $30 cheaper than had he booked us over the phone. (We paid $145.39 - including the $20 pet fee… room rate was $116 on the app and $145 - plus tax and fees when I called)
Thid stop is one of our favorites. Immaculate grounds stuffed with red geraniums and pumpkins. Grass is perfect. Patio so pleasant I want to live here. Lobby is up to date and very roomy. Adjoining bar had great been and a fun snack menu. Perkins is also adjoining for meals. Pool is sparkling clean.
While not doing any traveling during covid, this was a trip to attend a grandson's wedding. We couldn't drive for hours and decided to stop in Burley for a hotel. We were so pleased to be able to find a room and the young woman at check-in noticed that my husband uses a cane and offered us a first floor room. It was a handicapped room near the lobby and breakfast room. It was such a wonderful surprise. We appreciated the care the staff showed us.
This Best Western is one of the nicest BW I have stayed. It has electric charging stations for your car (if so equipped,) a beautiful courtyard, with sand volleyball, shuffle board, ect. I didn't use the pool, but I'm sure it is equally as nice. Well appointed rooms with a microwave and small refrigerator
Very nice and would definitely stay again. Lobby on check in was clean and welcoming. Front desk staff were friendly and made check in a quick and pleasant experience. Our room although a bit dated was clean and comfortable. Perkins next door was a nice unexpected surprise. Walked over a couple of nights and they knocked off 10% for staying next door. Cleaning people were one a floor it seemed like so if anything was needed they were right there. Check out was a breeze.
Nice four night stay in Burley. Clean comfortable room and beds. Nice shower with soap and shampoo dispensers. AC was super cold. Elevator a plus. Internet worked great. Late check was really appreciated.
This place was immaculate everywhere we looked and clearly well-maintained. The property is beautiful with well-groomed lawns and flower beds, and a gorgeous large pool with hot tub. Breakfast was in a lovely room with lots of windows and many yummy options, hot & cold. (It was nice not to have it attached to the main lobby like so many other hotels.) The room was very clean and the beds were very comfortable. We would absolutely stay here again!
This hotel was in very nice shape for its age. I enjoyed my time there. The swimming pool was very inviting. They have a restaurant on site, but we did not go there. We found a nice restaurant on the snake river. I had a handicap room and it worked well for me. Clean room.
I stayed here for work and my stay was great! The staff was kind and helpful and my room was very nice. The pool was great too! I had my dog with me, so nice to find a pet friendly hotel. Definitely would book again!
For the price you pay this hotel is clean. The set up of the facility is nice. The staff was very kind. The only drawback was air conditioning needed charged. The room was boiling hot even through the cooler hours of the night. It was barely blowing cold air and was dirty.
Our first room assigned smelled like strong smoke upon opening the door so proceeded to front desk. After telling staff about the smoke the young man said the hotel was full and could not guarantee another room, as if it were our fault. The next room smelled better but was cramped. the plumbing was not up to date plus the bathroom toilet and tub were dirty. The breakfast and dining area was very nice and clean with lots of choices for breakfast including gluten free. The large pool was the nicest thing in this hotel. I could Not recommend this hotel for this price.
Breakfast was good and plentiful, pool area was fantastic. This is a great jumping off point to other destinations in Idaho and Utah. Easy access to freeway and restaurants for dinner. Two thumbs up for this Best Western!!
The property is great. We stay there just about every time we pass through. I did find a bra that was behind a chair in the corner our last stay, which in it and of itself isn't that big a deal, but it shows me they are not doing an extremely thorough job of cleaning. Who knows how long it was there. Still, that being said, it is a nice place to stay. The property is lovely.
The experience was great, right from the check in with a friendly staff to the layout of the pool, bar, breakfast area and the room was clean and a courteous maintenance staff. Highly recommend it and will be going back. Tip, Ask for a poolside room..
The Best Western, was by far the best place I have stayed in the last couple of years. I plan on only staying at Best Western in the future. The food was excellent. The staff was very kind and welcoming. The rooms were awesome.
Four 2-story buildings surround courtyard pool, hot tub, sand volleyball, concrete patio, fire pit, chairs, picnic tables, lots of planted flowers. Hotel pictures good representation. Very clean; friendly staff; family-friendly summer Saturday night courtyard concerts (8:00-10:00pm). Very quiet before & after concert. Entire courtyard was festive and welcoming during concert. Elevator available for 2nd story.
We were very pleased with this Best Western! Staff was excellent as were the rooms and grounds. Nice pool and even a volleyball area! Lots of shopping and restaurant options within walking distance! Too bad so much construction going on main road. Don't let that deter you though from staying at this location!
This is half way between home and family and we always stay here. Have never been disappointed. Always clean and friendly! Great for family and work trips. Would highly recommend it for whatever reason your in the area.
We stayed two nights and so thankful we chose this hotel! Excellent service. Room decor was more like your own apartment than just another hotel. Beautiful decor throughout including the outdoor landscaping. Truly is more than just an overnight stay, but an experience. With outdoor evening entertainment in the courtyard. Free drinks, if you drink :). Continental breakfast was excellent. The fitness room equipment was top of the line. We used the Internet service area to look up local information. Just can't say enough about the cleanliness of this hotel. The only issue...not the hotel, but with the Perkins Restaurant, which is attached to the motel. The food was only a filler and too expensive even with our hotel the ten-percent discount you receive for being a hotel guest. Burley is a fun and busy town so there are many other excellent choices. The second night we ate at Golden Corral because Texas Roadhouse wait was just too long.
No water in pool the entire stay! Called ahead to ask for crib. No crib in room, had to ask again. We were given a room right next to the front parking lot, way too loud, kept the baby awake. Extremely Rude hotel staff when we asked to switch rooms. Would NOT stay here again.
Great value and the breakfast had great selections not just a couple of items. Very clean place, very quite. Do definitely reccomend best western burley ID for a top 10 place to stay, you wont be disappointed
Nice location close to gas stations and shopping, Friendly staff, very clean and comfortable rooms. Overall appearance of the hotel was nice well kept. Quiet-could not hear other guests. Breakfast was good.
Very clean and well maintained. Check in staff was friendly and helpful - even gave us a gift bag with water and snacks for being a Rewards member. They were re-doing the roof so gave us the option of moving to a different wing - which we did. Didn't really eat the breakfast but it looked good. Only one possible issue for anyone who is concerned about being able to see their car in the parking lot, The rooms are in a U-shape surrounding the pool and some of them do not face the parking lot. If that is important to you, request a room facing a parking area...
I enjoyed my stay at the Burley Best Western. It is a clean, comfortable, nice facility. Great breakfast options. Clean area for breakfast. Staff are very welcoming and friendly. There is a courtyard in the center of the room buildings that features a swimming pool and hot tub, volleyball area, fire pit. This Best Western welcomes pets and provides clean up bags and waste receptacles which is very helpful when traveling with a pet.
We stopped in Burly on our drive from Scottsdale to Seattle and wow the Best Western was a real treat. From check in, the rooms, dinner, breakfast all was simply excellent. The staff was awesome! When we make the return trip this for sure is where we will stay on our journey.
Stayed 1 night on cross country trip. Was given room immediately above lobby/ check in area. Very noisy, as were the neighbors in adjoining room. Noise level prevented sleep several times. Had to go and buy (!) earplugs to attempt to diminish noise. When I realized, shortly after check in, that we were given perhaps the worst room in the property, I asked the staff to switch, they could not accommodate the request. Breakfast, quality of room amenities are fine, but do not stay in any room off the lobby area or you will not be able to sleep.
Only stayed one night, was in town for work. They have rooms that u enter right from outside. Those are my favorite rooms!! Plenty of space, good size rooms. The shower & potty are seperate from the sink & counter both are spacious plenty of counter space. A/C unit worked well. Gas stations is a min walk away if needed & jus across the main road is shopping & restaurants.
Traveling from Pacific Northwest to Texas. Decided on Burley as a good first stop. Hotel is very close to I-84, restaurants and gas adjacent. Room was spotless, sheets smelled so clean I wanted to stay in bed all day. Shower had large bottles of shampoo, conditioner and bath wash so no skimpy bottles. Great breakfast open 4 hours so plenty of time to enjoy. Fire pit was lit for relaxing. I always stay Best Western and this has been one of our Best of the Best.
The room was comfortable and well stocked with towels and toiletries. Front desk staff was welcoming and helpful. I opted not to have breakfast but it was included with the nightly rate for those who traditionally do like to eat breakfast. Good value for the price!
Jaden was superb upon a late night, last minute check in. We were tired, weary travelers that had just had a horrible experience at a Best Western in SLC, on our way home, and were comforted by the professional, friendly and kind service provided by Jaden and staff at Burley's BW. (Would have rated 5 stars for sleep quality if it wasn't for the loud girls party going on all night below? beside? our room. Had to turn on the TV to drown them out.)
The hotel was clean, the staff were friendly, the breakfast was very good, the beds were comfortable, the shower was great, and the yard outside was great for a dog! We loved having the Perkins Pancake house right on site. We would definitely stay here again.
The Best Western in Burley was a real find. It was easy to find, clean, fast check-in/out and the breakfast was very nice and if you wanted more it was attached to a Perkins Restaurant. Highly recommend for a convenient place to stay where you can be very comfortable.
This is truly the crown jewel of the entire Best Western chain. You will not believe how amazing every aspect of this hotel is: the breakfast spread goes on and on, including make-it-yourself waffles and pancakes... yogurts, milk, muffins, condiments for your oatmeal, scrambled eggs, gravy and biscuits... what a feast! Every where you look, it is spotless. They were waxing the floors when we left. Ice machine, yes... fitness room with weights, machines and a water dispenser, yes... sprawling outdoor pool (seasonal), indeed. We had the Executive Suite with a balcony and the living room windows open for a breeze if it's not too chilly. Front desk staffers like Mackenzie and Alex will absolutely brighten your day. We cross the country twice a year and guess what, Twin Falls, this magnificent hotel stole us away forever. We cannot wait to return. Very, very good show, GM Shannon!
We were just trying to find a place to stay due to a canceled-flight-caused road trip. We made the reservation a few hours before. This place was delightful. Super quiet, resonably priced, cute psydo-Georgian architecture with rooms surrounded an enormous couryard that contained a volleyball court, dog area (so one can assume dog friendly), pool, hot tub, and patio with grills and a fire pit. The rooms were a bit dated, but clean and comfortable. The bathroom fixtures were a bit funky, but the shower was hot. The staff was helpful and they had a great breakfast room/service that was a bit beyond the standard. There is also an attached Perkins that was super quick and gave guests of the Inn 10% off. There is also a Chevron gas station and convient store on the other side of the property. We come this way occassionally so we're delighted to learn of this little gem of a property!
I've stayed here three times, as it's about the halfway point on a trip from my home to my parents' house. The most recent time was with my wife and dog. The hotel is pet friendly, and no limits on the size of the dogs. It's a good place to stay, and reasonably priced. I haven't had any issues with my rooms. My wife's allergies acted up in the pet-friendly room. While it smelled clean and everything that should have smelled like bleach did, I wonder about any deep-cleaning for pet allergies. It's a great place to spend a night.
Traveling from Washington to Utah and this was a great spot to stop and spend the night. Pet friendly, which is why I usually pick Best Western. Comfy king bed and larger than expected room. Modest extra charge for the dog. Staff was very friendly, restaurant (Perkins) on site and plenty of parking right off the interstate.
We had a need to stay in Burley Idaho We called for a late night arrival and they we so helpful and professional. We called to let them know we were going to be even later than expected and they we so cordial. A terrific room, super nice and all the things we needed inside.
We've stayed at this hotel frequently over the past 20 years. Well-maintained and convenient to dining and fuel options, its grounds are an oasis and its amenities well-suited to encouraging decompression after a long day of travel. Our room was quiet and easily accessible, everything worked, staff were almost universally pleasant, available, and helpful. We'll return.
Outstanding hotel. Great breakfast with a lot of hot food choices from pancakes, waffles, a hot egg sandwich to biscuits and gravy. I've never had a uncomfortable bed staying at any Best Western that's why they are my only choice for a hotel. Very friendly staff and always put a smile on my face. Extremely clean which makes me feel safe. BW always gives the best rate compared with other hotels. Very economical.
If your travels take you through Burley, Idaho and you're looking for a place to stay, THIS IS THE PLACE. It is a great choice for all. Family friendly with a pool, a hot tub, and a volleyball court in the center courtyard. Great for individuals too. There is a bar inside and an outside bar area. The included breakfast was well supplied with ample choices. It is pet friendly. Large parking lot for larger vehicles, and those towing trailers. But one of the most important aspects is the ABSOLUTELY WONDERFUL hospitality of the staff.
Didn't expect such a great experience! Really happy with the room cleanliness! Staff was great and the hotel was a wonderful find! Loved the layout and how the hotel appeared to be a hide-a-way! Clean pool and buildings
Very nice outdoor grounds. Pool, volleyball and shuffleboard. Quiet rooms. Nice breakfast. Pet friendly and great value. Guess I have to keep typing to review……….. not sure why I have to do a 200 letter review. Ok I have 175 need 25 more. Four more to go.
When I stayed in that room it was next to impossible to turn the water on in the bathtub to take a shower. The amenities were located in the dispenser on the wall and couldn't get them to work. One of the wash cloths appeared to have either make up or bled all over it that didn't wash out. Housekeeping door was located right next to my room and when the staff arrived early that morning of my check out they were standing outside the door talking as loudly as they possibly could. I asked them to quiet down and they didn't so I called the front desk and the front desk did nothing about it
Excellent hotel with nice amenities. Our king bed room on 2nd floor overlooking pool/hot tub area was very clean & comfy. Grounds seemed very nice with a clean pool (with a chair lift) & hot tub plus a fire pit & patio area. Breakfast buffet was a good free option. All staff was friendly & were quick to bring me some extra pillows. We would stay here again if in the area.
Honestly, the only negative thing is that it's in cattle country. For us city dwellers, walking out of the room and smelling manure from the nearby farms was a little surprising, but otherwise the rooms didn't have the smell. The property was relatively quiet. The staff was friendly.
One of the best hotels we have stayed in lately with our small dog. We were treated extremely well and had a great customer service experience. They have a great breakfast and open early (6am) so we could get on the road. The rooms were in great shape and clean and comfortable.
The hotel is very clean, staff are very friendly and helpful. Price of room is a very good value, but fluctuates with the supply and demand, but never outrageous like some of BW's competitors. Conveniently located near Interstate and has a choice of cafes around and nearby.
We loved our visit here. Our suite was perfect for our family needs. It had a seated table we enjoyed meals and played games at, a good sized refrigerator to store food, and a real freezer for our freezer packs. It seems a bit silly to obsess over the refrigerator, but it was so nice to have a small size functional one versus the mini sized ones we've had at other hotels. The balcony with patio furniture was a nice place to have morning coffee. The bed was really comfortable and the pillows too. I think it was our best sleep away from home yet. The pool was a favorite. I love a good outdoor pool and this one was nicely situated in a courtyard. The kiddy pool is fantastic for littles to splash about in. Our room was non smoking, but it did look like there was some cigarette burns on one area of the wall, so not sure if it used to be a smoking room in the past. The rest of the room was beautifully decorated and the layout felt spacious. Overall, great experience and we hope to visit again!
Great layout, very clean, very friendly staff. Everything you need is right on the property. Nice bar/lounge area, nice pool and grassy area with picnic tables. Nice outside area at the bar. Good restaurant on the property.
Great service from check in to check out. Rooms were clean fresh and front desk staff was very helpful. Lounge was clean and neat and food was very good but lounge staff was not as professional they are more interested it seems in locals.
Love the courtyard. Very clean and fresh. Pet friendly. Staff are prompt, courteous and professional. Located right off of freeway. Next to 2 gas stations.. Have stayed here before and will again. I recommend for anyone. Children and dogs playing in the courtyard. Pool, firepit bird house, volleyball net.
The hotel was decent however I felt their a few area that needed renovation like the guest bathrooms and laundry facilities. The other issue was the shampoo and conditioner holders in the bathroom were empty and I could tell they rarely restocked them.
the hotel and staff were very pleasant and helpful to our needs. I would return there again. comfortable rooms and amenities. Perkins restaurant was a great eating place and so convienant as it is right in the hotel.
Nice place but the mattress sagged & gave me severe back pain for the first time in years. Woman doing the breakfast serving was GREAT at customer service! Overheard another customer's spouse complaining to them of back pain from bed sagging 6/8/21. I have informed management of same as of 6/9/21. Dave Hiatt
We spent one night here while driving across the country. The place was immaculate- so important in this pandemic. The check in went smoothly and the complimentary breakfast was good- scrambled eggs, sausage and hash browns, plus lots of other goodies if the main dish didn't suit. The outdoo pool was large one and there were tables and chairs for drinks or if you brought takeout. The rooms all had direct outdoor access and there's no elevator.
Room we were in was dated and needed upgrading badly. Was very disappointed for the price we paid for each night. Definitely not “BW Plus” quality. Mold on the shower ceiling, microwave was on the bathroom counter by the sink...just not up to par.
I have found that the Best Western hotels are worth seeking out. The staff is usually very friendly. Burley was no exception. The only problem was the strength of the wifi (rather weak) and no ice in the ice machine. neither detract from the overall quality of my stay.
We spent one night at this hotel on a quick trip to Idaho. I was very impressed. The check in and check out process were very simple with pleasant front desk staff. The hotel is very clean. It was right off the highway with lots of stores restaurants and gas stations right there. We enjoyed a drink outside from the outside bar. Lots of seating outside so we could enjoy the beautiful weather. I would defintely recommend this hotel if you are traveling to Burley.
We did the pre check in and the room was ready when we arrived. It was on the ground floor as requested and we could park at the door of the room. Desk clerk was pleasant and efficient. Room was comfortable, clean, and roomy. Had all amenities and enough outlets to charge our devices. Breakfast was the usual fare with the assistant serving the coffee and hot food. She was very pleasant. Our experience here was so much better than at another chain that we stayed at the night before. Will check Best Western more often.
I stayed here with my husband on our way back from Arizona going to Alaska. Had a great time here rooms were clean and the bed was awesome. So anyway Kim the house cleaning supervisor was awesome we got all the way to Oregon when we realized I had left my surface pro in the room. Panic set in I was going to log in to do some payroll while in Bellevue, we called and spoke with Kaylee at the front desk and she found Kim for us. When Kim called us back to confirm our mailing address just couldn't believe how wonderful she was and got my surface pro in just days! Awesome customer service .
This visit was the fourth time I have stayed here and it is likely the last. There was a bar in the "courtyard" that was playing music. In the evening I called the front desk and they said they would ask them to turn it down. They actually turned it up. I called again and they said they couldn't do anything until ten o'clock. The music was still going after ten and I called again. About 10:30 it stopped, but there were people talking loudly until 11:30. At 3:30, more people were talking loudly. I hardly got any sleep. Except for the desk clerks, none of the other staff wore masks.
My wife and I recently spent 1 night here on a short road trip. I guess I had expected something more up to date but aside from the lobby/entrance which seemed newer and "brighter" the room we had seemed dated and in need of a bit of freshening. The staff with whom we interacted were all quite friendly and helpful. The location is very convenient to I-84 and parking was easy. My biggest complaint was noise. We were located across from the hot tub which was visited several times by very loud people. We were also given a room located in between several groups traveling together who got together in and out of their rooms and were quite loud. This went on into the evening. Breakfast was fine as was wifi. All in all it was not a great stay and I would most likely look elsewhere on a future trip.
Somehow we missed our off ramp to head north, probably talking too much LOL! What a nice surprise to stay at this large hotel/convention center that ended up feeling small and cozy from where we had a room. Room was great, as was bed and shower. We enjoyed having a large expanse of green lawn outside our room and view of the pool which remains covered at this time. The breakfast room was close by. Several food items were offered but we only had waffles. We would stay there again and highly recommend it. Other than staying here, we only ate at El Capital which you can walk to. Felt their food was exceptional.
This hotel has such a great staff! Irma and Shannon were very accommodating to me and my family. On top of that, the upstairs rooms from the lobby are BEAUTIFUL and so clean. The linens are the freshest I've ever had. They smell amazing! The hot tub is very clean and big. Breakfast is ok, better than continental. The regular breakfast girl is so sweet and always helpful with a smile. She is outgoing and fun to talk to. Her mom works there too and she is very polite and a hard worker. I highly recommend staying here.
My husband and I stayed at the best western not far from home! It was the perfect stay! The hot tub was wonderful while it was snowing, and the room was cozy! The staff is always willing to help and make sure you feel welcomed
We were exhausted while moving from E. Washington to S.E. Idaho and stopped for the night. The room was comfortable, the hotel was decorated for fall - the grounds were really pretty. Our dog was welcome for a small fee, which is terrific too! Had breakfast, which was served by a young lady who was very gracious. Because of the pandemic, the dining room was closed, so I took the food back to our room. Check-out time was easy as well. I recommend to anyone.
I'm order to access the eating area, one has to walk by the bar-I know it's hard to wear a mask & enjoy a beverage but when the bar is the only way to access the eating area then the bar should be blocked off- Patrons at the bar were not practicing social distancing. People wonder why the virus is spreading.
Lesson Learned: For a good nights sleep do not plan to stay at a convention center hotel where other guests have no plans to sleep. If Burley Inn has a reception center it needs a place to contain the noise in the early hours of the morning.
The staff were welcoming and very helpful. From the easy early bird check in to express checkout the stay was pleasant and there were not any hassles. The room was roomy, clean and well decorated. They followed all the COVID rules. All in all the Inn was clean and well maintained. It is close to many choices for dining, many within easy walking distance.
We stayed here on a Saturday night last minute because no other hotels in were available in Twin Falls. No complaints really, three of the four of us woke up with headaches due to the hard pillows. But the room was basic and clean. Bathroom was really small, but was nice to have the sink outside so one could use the bathroom while another could wash up using the sink. The breakfast was much better here than all the 5 Marriott hotels we stayed in this week. They did have hot items like biscuits and gravy, microwaveable breakfast sandwiches, waffles, and pancakes. While the two attendants were busy nonstop helping everyone, it just gets too crowded this way. No fault of the hotel as this is the COVID-19 world we live in now, just takes so long to get everything. But again, their offerings was much better than everyone else. We did use the outdoor spa and kids used the outdoor pool. It worked, we enjoyed it, and prefer it to indoor pools.
The management and staff at this hotel went out of the way to accomodate our specific needs. We really appreciate the efforts. We were having trouble contacting BW reservations to use our accumulated points, and they helped us do that. The hotel also served a fresh, hot breakfast during the pandemic. We weren't allowed to serve ourselves, but they hired someone to prepare the food and serve us.
This is a beautiful property. We appreciated the pet friendly room being on the ground floor with the pet area right outside the door. The room was large and very clean. There is a bar/lounge that is very comfortable. It is closed on Sundays. They have a good selection for a small hotel. We enjoyed staying here for two nights and would stay here again. It was about 30 minutes to Shoshone Falls and the Twin Falls Costco.
Rented a good room 183. Room was ok. There was a big yellow stain on top blanket. Light nearest window didnt work. Asked for jet tub for Joel. Didnt work. I called front desk around 8:40pm ask how to work tub she stated she didnt know and said i had an attitude. I told her i agreed i did! She was ugly on the phone with every question I asked. She said she would send a maid?? I asked her to call because Joel was in the tub. She sent her to my room any ways!!!! Will not recommended if you have to pay out of your own pocket. Used to love this place. What happen?
This Best Western has been remodeled on the inside. The exterior isn't bad either with a fire pit, pool and hot tub it has quite a bit to offer. The breakfast is quite varied with a waffle maker, hot made to order when you press a button pancakes as well as eggs and bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy. Several types of cereal and pastries too.
We love to travel as family, including our dogs!! The Burley Inn is super pet friendly, they have dog treats at front desk. The doors facing the exterior are super convenient when traveling with pets and kids. The grassy area is nice to let our kids and dogs stretch their legs after a long day of traveling. The location is great right off the freeway and the Perkins restaurant was open late and they had great specials too. This will be a regular stop on future trips for sure!!
Stayed 3 nights and room was very clean, breakfast was great, Staff was amazing! They have a beautiful entry that has room for business meetings and GREAT WIFI! There is a beautiful gas fire pit out back that was fun to hang out by. A lounge with full bar and Tv's to watch the games and socialize.
I've stayed here for work and with my family … including my furry family members! The location is conveniently located off of the interstate which is great for traveling in Idaho. The kids love splashing around the pool in the summer. I always enjoy the comfortable and clean rooms. The on-site Perkins restaurant is perfect for a late-night dessert. The breakfast is always a hit and the service is always friendly and helpful. I recommend this hotel for business and for pleasure.
Nice hotel for a one night stay traveling home over the holidays. Clean rooms, friendly staff and beautiful outdoor sitting/eating areas. Breakfast was good and attendant was efficient, friendly and helpful. Will stay again when traveling from Denver to Washington State.
This is one of the nicest hotels in the BW chain. It has everything a traveler needs, a full restaurant, free breakfast and very helpful employees. And the rates for a hotel this nice are extremely reasonable. We'll always take time to stay at this hotel on our travels through south Idaho.
The service is good overall I liked the fast and friendly check in and out. They gave me a 10% off coupon to the bar or Perkins but i didn't use it. I would recommend this place to my family's and friends!
Doors are poorly insulated and the walls are not well insulated. A lot of noise from neighbor and lots of noise and outside air on exterior door. Could hear the neighbor talking as if they were in my room.
From the check in to the breakfast, we were very impressed and would definitely recommend this hotel to others! It was clean and comfortable and the breakfast buffet was one of the best we have encountered. The price was also very attractive. We will stay here again!
The rooms in this hotel are small but efficient. The bathroom is smaller but it was clean. The public areas of this property are very pleasant and inviting. It is a older facility but obviously there are constant updates being made. The breakfast was very good and offered a wide selection including freshly prepared fruit cups. Very friendly staff.
Polite desk, Perkins restaurant connected to Motel was excellent, nice bar also. The place was clean & friendly. Knowledgable about area. Close to freeway & any stores one might need for supplies while traveling.
The Best Western Plus in Burley, ID. is a hotel that gives you plenty of options. The surrounding area gives you a number of eating and shopping options. Especially, if you forgot to pack something at home or are just running low on toiletries and necessities. The hotel offers a wonderful complimentary breakfast. But it also has a bar with eating options as well as a whole other restaurants (Perkins, I believe) attached to the hotel. My room was part of a whole separate unit behind the main hotel and it was ideal. Very quiet with plenty of parking. The center courtyard was lovely. It has a gorgeous clock tower, a huge swimming pool and even a beach volleyball court. Hard to take advantage of in November, but hoping to make it back in the spring and/ or summer. The room was very clean and spacious. Plenty of room for my things without ever making me feel cramped. If you ever find yourself in Burley, ID., check out the Best Western Plus. You will be happy you did.
Beds! My favorite part of this hotel. The bed was so comfortable. I slept the entire night and that's pretty rare. Hotel was sold out for a big event, but the staff didn't miss a beat. I was very impressed. No complaints at all. Clean, comfortable, great breakfast. Just what I want.
We were very happy with our stay here. Nice place and pet friendly! We've come to depend almost entirely on Best Western when we travel with our dog. This property was very suitable for walking with lot of grassy areas.
If you are in need of a break while going through Burley, Idaho, stop at the Best Western Plus Burley Inn & Convention Center. From Jessica who checked us in, Brandy in the Lounge and Chelsey at Perkins, our stay was fantastic! The room was well appointed, clean and spacious. With our AARP discount, it as only a few dollars more than the Budget Inn next door. WELL worth the few extra $ to get a huge upgrade in cleanliness, perks and well, everything else!
This Best Western has always been our first stop on our trip to Arizona. We enjoy the restaurant that is attached to it and the hotels employees are extremely nice. It is easy access of the freeway too.
The staff was very accommodating to our request for a specific room. The room was quiet and spacious enough for one night. This was probably the fourth time we have stayed here and with exception, it has worked well for us. We will continue to use this BW when we are in the area
This was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I want one for my own! Hotel was comfortable. Didn't really use amenities like pool, hot tub, etc, as we arrived late and left early. But I sure got a good night's sleep!
$15 extra for the dog. They have AARP & AAA discounts. The M&M machine in the lobby went crazy on me. Nice big room, plenty of free parking. Too bad we were simply looking for a clean bed. There is a Perkins next door. They even gave us a card for a discount at Perkins or their The Spud Cellar Lounge. Parking lot is well lit. As tired as we were, we did have trouble finding the front lobby (hint, it faces the street).
Traveling through on Interstate 84 convenient location. Nice clean rooms. Secure property with a resteraunt on site and able to host a convention if you need that sort of option. Professional, friendly staff on site.
Best Western Plus Burley Inn & Convention Center was in a nice location, within a short walk to several places to eat (including Wendy's and Denny's). Our room was nicely furnished, 1 nice chair, a desk, comfortable bed, nice sheets, average towels. Full breakfast was good: scrambled eggs (maybe a little too dry), bacon, potatoes, gravy, breads for toast, muffins, cereal, fruit, coffee, tea, milk, juice. The dining room was nice and seating was comfortable. I would have rated this location higher except our room location was quite noisy with people coming and going (car alarms being set and unset). This hindered a good night of sleep.
This motel is located right where we need it when travelling from Denver to Portland. It is close to numerous restaurants so getting a meal is very simple. The staff are very helpful and friendly. The rooms are large and comfortable.
Great courtyard with volleyball and shuffleboard areas, nice pool and hot tub, putting in fire pit near office. Pet friendly and very nice yard area, pet area not secluded but separate from play areas. Highly recomend. Hot breakfast seemed to have something for everyone.
Being on the road through South Idaho, the "Burley Inn" is our favorite. Right off the freeway, check in and drive up to your door if you choose the exterior rooms. No packing luggage through check in and up elevators! No driving to the restaurant it's already here. The jacuzzi is new and outdoors with jets that hit toes to shoulders, hot too. Olympic size outdoor heated swimming pool. Complementary breakfast is exceptional! Overall this place is great for all the amenities plus convenience!
We could not be happier with this hotel. Comfortable bed, easy check-in and out. Very dog friendly. So easy for people with pets. Great location with restaurant next door. We will definitely use this hotel again when we are in the area.
Friendly and efficient staff, room good except for thin walls - ear plugs advisable. Comfortable beds. Perkins on site for dinner, food okay. Breakfast pretty good. Wifi okay but not very fast. Handy Chevron next door, Walmart & other restaurants nearby.
We stayed there twice on our trip to Washington. This is an older property that has been well maintained. The rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet. Bed was very comfortable. Breakfast is the usual motel food. How do they turn perfectly good eggs into motel eggs? It is almost a universal thing with free breakfasts. There is no elevator so plan accordingly.
Wish I could have rated this hotel one step higher than the scale. This hotel is outstanding! The staff, partially new, outdid itself. It was just down a short hallway to the Perkins Restaurant. And most of all, the hotel was laid out to surround the pool and open area. (See photos.) If this were not August, one could sit outside and gaze at the stars.
Everything was good. I just needed a place to sleep on a cross country drive. Staff didn't explain that overlooking the courtyard means next to the pool, which looked fun but was quite noisy until after 10 pm. Breakfast was available, but I didn't want to leave my dog to bark.
This hotel is always a great place to stay at! The rooms are very nice and bedding is always comfortable. Their onsite bar and restaurant is excellent. The pool and hot tub are very inviting! The staff is always friendly and attentive.
The hotel was clean, the staff was helpful and friendly, I was happy with the breakfast options and the internet was able to stay 'mostly' connected during peak times. The review requires an additional 37 characters....
This place is OK but could easily do better. Dude, get a life and get rid of the styrefoam and plastic. This is Idaho and it's time to think about the environment. Get rid of the plastic and styrefoam. Let's get in to dark sky lighting!
I was at the hotel for just one night however, I was welcomed like a long time friend and guest. The accommodations were excellent and the staff was friendly and helpful. the amenities were plentiful and readily available for use by all of the guests. The courtyard was beautifully maintained and relaxing. The lounge was inviting and the food and Drinks were great. I would recommend this Hotel to anyone who is staying in Burley.
Midway point on road trip from Las Vega to Vancouver, BC. After many hours of driving we were looking for a clean and comfortable place to lay our heads. We were not disappointed. The room was very well equipped with a fridge and microwave. Comfy beds. Good wifi. Amenities that we did not use on our short stay, like iron and ironing board would have been nice had we been there longer. The pool area looked inviting and well kept. The Perkins restaurant attached was a nice surprise and because we were registered at the hotel, we got a discount on our dinner. I would definitely stay here again.
Clean, friendly, knowledgable staff and service. Like in most Best Westerns where we have stayed, those who designed the beds tend to cater to tall guests. Also, Smucker's DOES make blackberry jam for the breakfast room--not just grape or mixed fruit.
Our stay was at Burley Convention Center in Burley Idaho. It was our second stay there because of the good location for our visiting, the excellent facilities and reasonable prices for such a nice place! Staff was always top notch as well.
They were very organized for our groups arrival with an outside table even! Room was clean and large. Rooms surround a nice pool and hot tub. And... The pool was crowded with families and kids includes unsupervised youngsters in the hot tub. Some got in a car and drove off so I wasn't sure they were even staying here. Wifi was finicky. Dropping out and weak signal.
Check in was fast and the front desk clerk was very friendly and accommodating. The room was beautiful. I wasn't too happy that the car was parked behind the building with not even any windows to look out and see it, but it seemed like a safe enough area. Breakfast was amazing, and check out was fast! Will definitely use this hotel chain again, although I doubt I'll be back to this particular one.
I would rate 4.5 stars. Why? The bad: The property is dated in terms of age and design. It is fully open, which is not the best in winter. The entrance and exit can be confusing. Breakfast options are somewhat limited. The good: Big pool. Pretty clean. Helpful frontdesk. Cheaper rate than comparables.
I lost contact both during a phone call and online, while trying to reserve a room. The staff still reserved a room for us. We got in late and were so relieved to have a room, and grateful for the staff's caring and thoughtful consideration.
Nice hotel right off the highway. Room faced pool. Bathroom was clean and up to date. Restaurant and lounge attached. Right next to gas station. Grounds were beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic. Volleyball net and other game to keep kids busy. Even with the pool just outside, the room was very quiet. Great place!
Good clean rooms, comfortable beds, lots of parking for cars and big trucks. Very friendly staff. We stay here every year for a sporting event we come too. There is a Perkins on the premises. Right off the freeway.
Stay here whenever we are visiting in the Burley area. Always clean and friendly staff. We brought our 14 yr. old grand daughter this trip so she really enjoyed the pool. Close to the freeway, eating places and gas.
Older hotel but still good location with excellent service . Rooms have been upgraded . Have stayed in this hotel over the last 30 years and it is still my choice in Burley. The Perkins next door is a handy choice too.
We stayed one night, check in and out was easy. The hotel is somewhat spread out around a central courtyard. Our room was comfortable and worked great for us. I really liked the Perkins restaurant attached to the hotel where we could just walk to dinner. The breakfast room and food were great. I had a great stay and I wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.
Very close to the freeway, it's a very nice place to go if you're planning a trip to that area. Unfortunately the pool is outside compared to most of other best western, so I didn't enjoy it but they have a nice breakfast.
Clean, adorable and super easy to get to. Many hotels and gas stations nearby and on a main road, but still quiet and safe. Great staff. Easy computer access to print my itinerary. Wait till you see the breakfast!!
We had a great stay ath the Best Western in Burley, ID. Even the dog was happy at this pet-friendly hotel. It was easy to get off and on the interstate and located right where we needed to go for our family wedding reception that we travelled out of state for.
Best Western is our family go to property when traveling. I must say I was quite disappointed by this one. The main lobby area seemed very nice, clean, new, etc., however we were in the back older buildings and they are really out dated. The walls were very thin...we heard the man snoring in the room next to us the whole night. The mattress are VERY old and was shaped like a hammock. It was a rough night. Our usual morning swim/hot tub was also a bummer...the hot tub had a strange smell and the water was a bit green. I am still a huge fan of the Best Western brand but this location is not my favorite.
Comfortable room, good location, OK breakfast. I didn't eat at the restaurant this trip, but the lounge menu didn't have anything that wouldn't give me indigestion- nothing but heavy bar food. The grounds are very attractive.
Very nice lobby. Bar attached. Also attached a Smitty's Restaurant. Very convenient, very nice. Coupons for happy hour and restaurant services. Free full hot breakfast with extensive choices for self serve or use your coupons and order off the restaurant menu using the discount coupons. Always perfect, with a nice remodel throughout.
Rooms are pretty small for price. High speed internet was very slow. Doors creaked as did bathroom faucet. Apparent that pets are allowed in rooms. Nice location and breakfast area. Lawn areas are nice but used as dog latrine so not comfortable letting kids play in them. Property is on the verge of being rundown. Multiple concrete repairs need to take place on sidewalks and stairways.
This is a great hotel overall I would highly recommend this hotel to everyone. Staff is awesome to work with and will treat you very well! The rooms are very clean and has lots of pillows (lol) Enjoy your stay.
It was my first trip to Idaho, and Burley represented well. It was located near my temporary place of work. I was warm, as well as well-fed and entertained. The cable/satellite system was more than adequate, and I had excellent internet speeds, for work as well as for play.
I travel to this area weekly and stay at the Best Western Burly 1-2 times per month. Always friendly staff, clean rooms and good breakfast. Rooms have small refrigerator and some have microwaves in them. There is a microwave in the lobby area to use as well. I find it very convenient while traveling.I am a female traveling alone for business and I always feel safe when staying there
Clean, newly renovated hotel and restaurant, great continental breakfast, ample convention areas, happy friendly staff. I usually have a hard time sleeping on hotel mattresses. The mattresses are very comfortable loved my stay.
We only stayed one night at the Burley Best Western Plus, but this place was so nice, it could have been a destination hotel. Our room was very clean and spacious, and the breakfast was a feast! Everything you could hope for and more; hot things were served nice and hot, and cold things were kept cool. The property has a good-sized pool and nice outdoor hot tub too - we will definitely stay there again whenever our travels take us through southern Idaho.
This facility and especially the staff made our several days of travel & stays an "excellent" experience. We will NOT again by-pass this facility and in fact will plan to go there. Adjacent services also make this a convenient stop. We too appreciated the "reasonable" rate.
This hotel was pleasant in decor in the waiting room. The room itself was okay, but what I didn't appreciate was the clanging and banging of the pipes all night. Hard to get any sleep. Don't stay on the first floor.
We found this hotel to be very comfortable and well kept. The courtyard where the pool is located has beautiful landscaping and flowers. It was a quiet area, like a park setting. The lobby was beautiful, very welcoming. Our rooms coming and going on our trip were clean, smelled fresh, quiet, the AC was cool. We were very pleased with our stay. The Perkins restaurant was very convenient since we were on a Trike pulling little trailer and didn't want to drive anywhere. We felt that the staff we dealt with were very friendly.
My husband and our dog were traveling from Oregon to Iowa, driving. We were going to see family in Iowa. We stay at Best Westerns Plus if we can. We stayed at 4 of out of 6 nights on our trips to and fro. We wrote great reviews for all the ones we stayed at! Except this one! It was a plus, so we had certain expectations. And first time in many stays over the years that we were very upset. First off, the front part is new addition and it looks very nice... lobby and breakfast room... nice staircase upstairs... first impressions were good. Older lady got us set up and she was very nice and friendly. We had our dog, so she made sure we were in the dog wing. Which we understand. However, were pretty appalled by rest of hotel and our room. right behind the front was a nicely kept garden, grassy area, swim pool area with pagoda. The rooms however were pretty bad. It was obviously an old motel that they kept all the old rooms and tried to fix them up. 2 stories like a motel. the grounds around the outside of it were dirty... trash laying around. The room we had was ok. Felt dirty. Furniture was standard Best Western , and nice. the Bed was comfy and it looked nice enough. But the doors was so dirty and old... had hand prints on it, and floor, rug felt dirty. We have been in a lot of BWs and other hotels with your dogs and never felt it was dirty in case you are thinking cause it was a dog room. Tub and sinks were clean, and linen was fine. But over all felt not clean. I am not fussy person but had expectations for a BW Plus. I guess they make it a plus because of the new front. There are rooms there I imagine were nicer. But probably reserved for convention guests. We would have been ok except for one pretty nasty incident. We got into our room and there was a small yippie dog barking behind our room in another room. Of course it made our dog want to bark. We waited an hour and it never stopped barking. So we figured someone left it I their room as it was dinner time. We called the front desk and reported it. The young woman who answered said she was pretty sure she knew the room and would look into it. We took a walk, came back and it was still barking. So we went up to the lobby. The young woman we had talked to was sitting out on a bench with a young man. I went in... and she came in. The older lady who helped us check in was busy. You need to know I am 71, white haired and usually my husband I get along with the desk people. But this was not the case here. I asked about the barking dog. She said there was nothing she could do as the night watchman was not there until 9. We like to go to bed and read around 9 as we had early up in the morning. We asked if we could move rooms... She said she had one dog room left on the 2nd floor. That was ok with us, but she was reluctant to change us. She asked us to give her 15 minutes and then she would move us if it was not resolved. I was confused as to how she would resolve it, and asked and she just smiled. I said well we know there is a policy that people can not leave dogs in rooms unattended. She said "well not this one" and just stared at me, like, too bad too sad. We have been in many hotels and never let our dog in the room alone for fear she would bark. We worked around weather and put her in the car if we could, otherwise we ordered in. This young woman was rude about it all. I was pretty upset as was my husband. We did go back to room, telling her if the dog doesn't stop soon we want to move rooms. she said she would deal with it and let us know. She never called us to check on it. However the dog had stopped by the time we got back. I think she knew the people, person in the room and took care of it. But we never heard from her about it. She was very suspicious acting about it all. Never heard one word of apology or anything like that.... she just acted surly and like I was unkind to expect people not to leave dogs in rooms.... anyway... we just went to bed and got out of there as fast as we could in the morning. I see other people are complaining about the rooms that are motel like too. We are just disappointed that this was considered a PLUS ?
We had stayed here before and our stay was pleasant. However, even though we are Reward Members and made our reservation eight months in advance, we were stuck in the most rundown section that was reserved for guests with dogs. The clerk very reluctantly allowed us to change to a more comfortable and quiet room.
Needed a two-queen room while traveling, and this Best Western plus fit the bill without breaking the bank. Super easy check in and out, comfortable room, and a really nice property. From the back it's not impressive, but on the other side it all fronts a courtyard with a pool, volleyball, shuffleboard, etc. And is really nice. The kids thought it was a fancy resort! And we were all very impressed with the breakfast, lots of variety!
The building with the check-in lobby looks a very nice hotel, from the front parking lot, the rest of the building is hidden by trees. They direct you around to one of the side parking lots, where you will be seeing two floors of doors. In my book, if the doors face to an exterior walkway, this is a motel. The rooms, are actually nice, nothing fancy, but nice. They are also VERY loud when people are unloading their coolers and stuff from their vehicles outside your door. If you need a nice motel for your family, this is a solid choice; if traveling on business, go elsewhere. The food at the lobby bar comes from the Perkins next door, and is quite good.
After the desk clerk took 1/2 hr to check us in (IT ignorance) things improved. This is an older property but has been updated and has a great location. It has a Perkins restaurant attached and a gas station next door. All in all, not bad!
I stay here at least 4 nights per year, often more. This always means another sleepless night because of the noise from other guests and the parking lot. On every occasion, I've asked to be moved to a quite room but am always given the same excuse "we're booked full and there are no other rooms" which doesn't make sense when I have arrived at 5pm or earlier, before many other guests have checked in. The breakfast is standard cheap hotel powdered eggs, hard fruit, stale pastries, and weak coffee. There's not a fresh ingredient to be had. Inside the rooms, there are noisy hvac units as well as a noisy mini-fridge. Expect car headlights shining in the room in the middle of the night if your room is on the first floor. Other guest (often all-male line crews) boisterously make their ways to their rooms when the hotel bar, the Spud Cellar closes for the evening. This happens just a couple of hours before they fire up their diesel rigs to loudly idle for a while, in the parking lot right outside your room's door--usually the parking lot parade starts around 6am or earlier. Rooms are stocked with wet wipes to clean your remote control (a thoughtful touch? for those who don't want to think about why). The hotel also supplies wall-mounted dial soap and dial shampoo dispensers in the showers.
While staying at this hotel during a recent work related stay I found this hotel to be charming the staff to be helpful and very pleasant and the pool is amazing !! I had a very pleasant stay! I would recommend this hotel!
This property is very convenient for travelers. Everything about this BW is top shelf: Clean, friendly and well appointed. It is also pet friendly. It is also a throw back to an era when a hotel property offered full services: Restaurant, lounge and large common area and nicely kept grounds.
Great little hotel. Rooms appear recently updated with bedding etc. comfy bed and quiet rooms. I like the choice of complimentary breakfast or on site Perkins. Conference area was really nice and clean. Would def stay here again.
We stayed one night here on our way to Boise. The hotel appearance and cleanliness is great. We liked the pool area, breakfast selection and ease of check in and out. But our room had a huge gap all around the door. You could see outside!! A large wolf spider was climbing up the wall by our bed!! We felt that the door issue really should have been fixed. The TV reception was horrible. It would come in and out on every channel. This was also evident in the breakfast area. We liked the close restaurant area and getting a discount there for our meal. The bed was very comfortable and our room was great except for the door and the TV. This hotel was packed when we stayed with a lot of local contractors and road workers. Would stay here again but I would expect these issues to be corrected for the price we paid.
This is an older motor inn style hotel that has been remodeled. The room was clean and updated. The grounds and outdoor pool was nicely landscaped. My only complaint was the tv didn't work. I counted 40 channels that were not working and those that were working would cut in and out.
This property itself is very well maintained. The staff is courteous and helpful. The rooms are nice, very comfortable and quiet. The morning breakfast is pretty good and has a wide variety of foods to choose from. The gardens around the pool are lovely. However the pool was way too cold to swim in. I did ask someone to report this and the next day the pool was a few degrees warmer but not comfortable enough to swim. Also it needed a good clean. The jets on the hot tub were not working at all. We were somewhat disappointed as we like to spend a few days swimming and sunning when we come here. Over all it is a nice little oasis for business or pleasure.
Stay one night but took advantage of the pool for two days just relaxing. Dog friendly which was important for me. Great staff, clean rooms, and convenient location. I will definitely stay here again.
Great and friendly staff. Clean and well maintained rooms and grounds. Rooms are nice, breakfast had many options. Very friendly staff. Fridge and hanging storage were nice. Plenty of parking and close to town.
The room Had a flying insects and the desk brought us bug spray. Whole family living in window curtains. Late T night no place else to go. The toilet had a crack in the seat and door is crumbling at the bottom. The beds are comfortable. The breakfast was ok .there was no mat in tub. Dangerous. The shower curtain had strings hanging out they left two 3/4 used rolls of toilet paper.
They went above and beyond for my elderly father and myself. We're still definitely stay here again!! The housing and front desk staff were absolutely outstanding!! I would recommend this place for everyone!!
I called to request a special type room ... upon arrival, I was told they had to shuffle and that room wasn't available. They did not have my Rewards number - and tried to blame the travel agency ... yet, it came up on the website, so I know my number was attached to the reservation. Got to the room ... it's on the courtyard side - noise from all those using the pool, wonderful. Opened the door, and had to kick dead bugs out - I see daylight around the bottom, top and latch side of the door ... guess I'll be dealing with bugs all 4 nights. Then to my undelight, it's a little cube refrigerator with no shelves ... I had gastric surgery a few months ago - I don't eat out anymore. Oh - then I found NO microwave. The uncaring people that man the front desk stated I could microwave in the lobby. Wonderful ... I can carry cold food to the lobby, cook it in a microwave that I have no idea how clean it is ... only to carry it back to my room and have it cool off to eat cold food anyway. The room is SO small, I had to move furniture to use the ironing board (which had to be stowed each time after use.) As I sit here at the desk - actually excited because the chair raised up - - the chair is sinking so my shoulders are now about level with the desk. Oh .. and the air conditioning appears to be set at whatever it wants ... I requested 60 because I have food in bags with ice that cannot fit in the fridge, so the cooler the better ... and the a/c works a couple minutes, then shuts off. Checking the room temp with an infrared thermometer (carried for work) it's only cooling to about 67 at the unit ... 70 degrees at the back of the room. SO wish I had stayed at the Hampton in Twin Falls and driven round trip daily. Cannot say I recommend this hotel for a business trip.
A good hotel to stay in Burley, very close to the high-way. Rooms and other facilities are US average standard. Downsides are: room size rather small, noisy blowing air condition, traffic noise from the close high-way as well from the room neighbor. Average breakfast offer. Upside is a nice swimming pool.
We only stayed one night as we spent the weekend driving around Idaho. We arrived at 2pm, instead of 4pm and received an eye roll because we were early, which I found a little rude. They did have a room for us and were pleasant after we explained we were on our way to City of Rocks and we could come back. The room was updated and clean and faced a beautiful courtyard. The beds were really lumpy and uncomfortable and there was a giant crack where the door didn't fit all of the way into the frame, so we could hear every noise out in the beautiful courtyard. The room amenities were great. Wifi was fast and there were plenty of pillows, blankets, and towels. The breakfast served as part of our stay was fantastic. Overall, I think we paid a little too much for what we got and would probably not stay here again because the beds were so uncomfortable, but I understand being comfortable is subjective and it is probably fine for some people. Other than our initial contact, the staff was pleasant and polite.
This Best Western Plus costs a bit more, but is so worth it. the rooms are very comfortable and well set up. The breakfast is amazing. There were so many choices, the eggs and bacon were great with salsa and cheese there to put on your breakfast. And there was fruit and whip cream you could put on your waffle or pancakes. We felt really pampered.
We were in town for a 50th Wedding Anniversary party. Our whole family stayed at this hotel and had a great experience. We appreciated the room darkened curtains after a late-night arrival. We really enjoyed the breakfast offered with multiple choices to make everyone happy. The children enjoyed using the pool. The grounds are lovely and reminded us all that it is Spring. Each of the front desk employees we dealt with were courteous and helpful, even when we needed to extend our stay for another night. The woman responsible for the breakfast area worked quickly and was kept quite busy during the entire breakfast period. We appreciated the extra effort during the holiday weekend.
This is a good place to stay, but there are some trade-offs. Hopefully these observations will help in your decision whether to stay there or not. - The room (single king bed) was smaller than we expected. - The bathroom was smaller still. - The room had a refrigerator but you need to go to the front desk to use a microwave. - The bed was quite comfortable. - We didn't swim, but there is a large outdoor pool surrounded by the hotel buildings; sort of a courtyard. Looked very nice. - Most, if not all, rooms have an outside entrance. You don't walk through halls to get to breakfast. Take a jacket if it is winter or raining! - The staff is helpful. - Breakfast is in a large, dedicated room near the front desk. Food selection was good. This was among the best breakfast experiences we've had in a hotel like this. We'd rate it 3.5, but will choose 3 because of the room size.
We stopped here on our trip and was pleasantly surprised with this Best Western. First off, it was extremely clean and very up to date. There was a courtyard, pool, shuffleboard and volley ball court. We stopped in the lounge and enjoyed our late night drink. Perkins Restaurant is connected to it which makes it perfect for dinner. The breakfast was very good and the staff were very helpful. I would recommend staying at this hotel.
A great motel with first class amenities very convenient for travelers. The front desk personnel were extremely friendly and accommodating. A bar is available and a Perkins restaurant is also part of the motel. Great room with very comfortable beds.
Unfortunately the room was dirty. The odor in the room was a problem. Due to the time frame of my business trip I could not look for something else. Woke in the AM to prepare for business trip. The shower was completely inoperable. the handle to turn the shower on completely came off. So no shower. which also means the shower has been broken for a long time. That means the shower has not been cleaned for even longer. Gross. I advise looking elsewhere.
The location is handy to restaurants and freeway. The facility is aging and the rooms need upgrades especially in the bathrooms. Suggest lowering the beds so seniors can get into them. Suggest installing safety bars in the showers and replacing arm chair with a recliner.
The hotel in Burley is fairly large right off Interstate 84. The check-in was easy. The room was nicely furnished and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent as is usually the case in Best Western Plus hotel. Parking was adequate, the hotel is next to the Burley convention center. Re-paving of the entrance was occurring at 8:30 on a Monday evening, so access was more difficult and no sign was posted. Easy to access by driving around back. The Perkins next door gives 10% discount for hotel guests. This hotel was $100 for the same room 30 miles east at a Comfort Inn was priced at $135.
Always a pleasure to stay at this location. All the employees I met were courteous and helpful. Room was just fine. Room was always made up perfectly. Only issue is having to use a minimum 200 characters to write this review!
This is a great hotel. The rooms overlook a beautiful courtyard with pool and volleyball court. Lots of parking and places to run the dogs. They also have an outdoor faucet so we refilled the water jug before heading back into the desert.
Reasonable price. Pet friendly. Hot complimentary breakfast. Friendly staff and restarant discount. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Good internet connection. Everything we needed and nothing we didn't. Great stay.
There aren't many options out this way, but it is conveniently near the I-84 & I-86 junction for traffic headed West to Boise, South to Salt Lake City or East to Pocatello. The onsite Perkins restaurant is a nice convenience. The pool is outdoors only, making it seasonal. Staff is very nice and helpful. Rooms are adequate and accessible to abundant free parking. The included breakfast is excellent.
Very smooth check in, a nice room, a comfortable bed, and friendly staff. What more could you ask for? I would stay here again. It is conveniently located right off the interstate, and is also close to local amenities.
We spent the night in Burley and had a good stay at the Best Western. Mot impressive was the breakfast--excellent selection, cleanliness and food preparation. The location is easy to get to and we walked to a nearby restaurant for dinner.
Bathroom is a little small, but still a comfortable room with a good selection for breakfast. Ate at the restaurant for dinner both times-and senior portions and selections were good. Have stayed here several times and will stay again.
Friendly staff great clean rooms I stay here as often as I can. Close to shopping Good restaurant on site and also near by. The beds are comfortable and rival my own bed at home. Has Directv in the rooms and Wifi is pretty good
As far as Best Western goes, this place was pretty middle of the road. Wi Fi didn't work well at all, but most everything else was fine. There's plenty of services around the area, so you should be close to anything you want.
I love coming here to stay! The beds are comfortable and staff is amazing! I was beyond excited about the hot tub! Totally worth every penny for my room. I always stop here and my expectations are always met. This is my favorite hotel.
Good price, easy access to the room, quiet, comfortable bed, very clean. Great breakfast in the morning, including scrambled eggs, pancakes, waffles, fresh fruit, bacon, sausages, etc. etc. I was there in the winter, but the outdoor pool looked very nice.
We stayed here after a long day at Craters of the Moon. It was a nice place with easy parking and very comfortable. There was a gym. It's kind of cool because the breakfast is actually served at the attached Perkins. You can sit at a table, choose from a variety of options, and have the wait staff bring it to order.
The hotel is very clean and comfortable. The thing I didn't enjoy was outside entrances to all the rooms and the breakfast is so far away. In the winter it's cold out and the walk is long. Staff was great and breakfast was very good, just not very convenient to get to.
Good and comfortable stay, pleasant staff. Nothing bad to say, just the lounge food wasn't that good. Nice to have the choice of either a sit down breakfast or one from the "included" breakfast option bar.
Best place to stay anywhere along I-84. I first stayed in 2015 and since then make it a point to stay here every time I'm traveling. Thanks for everything you have done. Great Job!!!!!!! Hope to see you again soon.
This Hotel was highly recommended to me by the folks at the local Ford Dealership. I was on a road trip that resulted in having some car troubles and I needed to stay the night. This hotel is soo nice. The lobby was holiday decorated and music playing overhead. Warm and inviting. Friendly staff from the Front Desk to the Cleaning Staff.... all would say hello as I walked by. A swimming Pool, Volley Ball Court and out side sitting areas are just a few of the amenities. The restaurant next door has great food. Room was very nice, much nicer than I expected! Definitely would stay there again if my travels take me that way again!
I have stayed in several hotels in small towns while traveling for business. It's not always easy to find a comfortable hotel that is affordable. Best Western Burley in makes that choice easy. Thank you Best Western!
I have stayed many times for ski trips to Pommerel Ski area well as trips to AZ to see the grand kids. I have never been disappointed. Clean and comfortable rooms, great amenities and friendly staff. Worth the money to stay here.
Employees were very professional, polite and friendly. Check in was quickly accomplished. Beds were very comfortable with plenty of pillows. Room was very clean with internet, Cable TV, and working refrigerator. Location was just off interstate with plenty of places to eat and shop. Breakfast provided many choices and was one of the best we have had on the road. Very clean dining area.
Best western in Burley Idaho was great. The staff was great and food is good. Rooms are big too. Having a bar attached to the hotel is a great amenity. Great bar staff and food. I will definitely be staying here when in the area again.
We stayed here one night on our way through. The hotel was a pleasant surprise for the reasonable rate. The room was clean and quiet and the breakfast was substantial. Glad we found it. Would stay again.
Nice staff, clean and comfortable room with updated furnishings. The only drawback is that we had to access our rooms from outside like a motel rather than through interior corridors and it was cold and snowing..
Great stay at this lovely hotel. Was very nice and cozy..... the hotel was clean and the beds were nice.... the people that helped us were very friendly and helpful since we are from out of town. I am excited to stay again!
The hotel was great. It worked out really well for our football team. The staff made sure that we were all on one floor and adults were placed in strategic places for proper supervision. They staff allowed us to use the breakfast area for a late team dinner when nothing else in the area was open. Very helpful.
We stayed for one night during a cross country road trip. Although not impressive from the outside, the hotel offers comfortable beds and better than average breakfast choices for a terrific price. The staff is very personable and helpful, something very welcome when you're road weary.
The Marriott next door was full (their rooms are priced the same as this BW hotel), so we took a chance on this BW property. It was clean. The property was built in 1969, and it really hasn't been updated substantially, e.g., lack of centrally-located elevators, having to traverse the grounds for an ice machine, a VERY small bathroom, a VERY thin room door (that could easily be kicked through), etc. The staff was nice and helpful. Breakfast was typical, HOWEVER, the sausage links tasted & looked like they were day(s) old, just re-heated. Bottom line, for the same price, I'd take the Marriott next door (or 30 miles away in Twin Falls, if they're available), but would use this BW if the Marriott was unavailable.
I told the manager of the hotel that I had stayed in Best Western Hotels all over the world, from Bahrain and all over the US, and this one was without a doubt the best. The breakfast bar and the Perkins Restaurant was wonderful. If I return to that area for work I will stay there again without a doubt.
very nice, great towels, bed comfy, bar / lounge on property good place to relax and has a good happy hour, very decent restaurant attached, no noise but close to freeway exit and gas/fast food places
We stayed at this hotel in 2016 on our way to Washington. The staff was friendly and we were especially happy that is was a pet friendly hotel. The stay was nice so when we travelled that way again this year, we made our reservations there. This time we weren't as pleased. The location is close to the freeway, so very easy to get to. However, having been there was eight or nine months before we noticed that the construction the was going on last year was still in process- wit not much progress. The soda machine that was broken last year was still not working (or not working again). The staff was still nice and the rooms were OK. We were just a little disappointed with our choice this time.
Wonderful hotel to stay at while on an adventure to go to Haunted Mansions at Albion. Clean and friendly and loved that our dog got to come on the trip!! Although dog friendly, you wouldn't know it, very, very clean.
My hubby and I always stay here when we visit family in Burley. The rooms have always been clean. Beds are quite comfortable. Spacious rooms. The staff are very friendly and courteous. You get a great breakfast along with your room. Everything from biscuits and gravy, scrambled eggs, bacon, sausage to cereals, waffles. That is just to name some of them. The eating area is kept clean. There is a TV to watch the news while you eat. Convenient to get to. Close to stores and eating places. Perkins is right there at the hotel to eat plus you get 10% off with eating there.
As typical, this best western offers a great stay away from home. It makes my work very easy. The hotel staff is excellent! As well as all the amenities, I would go out of my way to stay here. If in town , try the spud cellar lounge, great food, atmosphere, and great service.
Stayed while traveling. Had a decent room on the courtyard side which was quiet. The landscaping in that area was very pleasant. Motel is located near the interstate. Check-in was fast and friendly. There is a Perkins restaurant attached to the motel which we used for breakfast though there is free breakfast from the motel. Room was clean, beds comfortable.
My husband and I had just driven into a sudden October snowstorm and needed to get off the road. We stayed at the Burley Best Western. It had absolutely everything we needed, restaurant, breakfast and service dog amenities. The staff is friendly and rooms are well appointed and clean. They even have a lovely heated pool. Breakfast was the best that I've ever had at a hotel chain. We will definitely stay here again!
I have stayed at this facility many times and the staff has been amazing. The conference facilities are really nice and the support staff for events go out of their way to make sure the event goes smoothly. The rooms are clean and comfortable.
This is a very good hotel to stop at. Easy off and on Freeway, with most anything you might need close by. Restaurant attached to hotel. Very convenient. They take pets although I didn't have one and easy access to the rooms.
We were put in a room between the stairs and the maids laundry! It was noisy all night long! The maids quarters Had a lot of banging on the walls slamming of doors. The room smelled foul and the Internet speed was lacking. The breakfast the next morning was gross. The eggs were undercooked the biscuits and gravy was crunchy.
This is a nicely remodeled hotel in a very convenient location. The quality and variety of the free breakfast is on par with the best you can get at at hotel. Additionally, there is plenty of parking available near the rooms for easy access.
We were greeted by professional and friendly staff. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. This is a very nice hotel, we will be staying here again and I would recommend choosing this Best Western. The staff was very friendly and pleasant, they were very genuine with the conversation they were having with us.
Just way to much of a hike in price just because of it being parents weekend it should be illegal to hike the rates on crapy hotels just because there are no new amenities the beds need to be removed the staff was fine I'm just a little disappointed in being ripped off
The hotel, staff, and setting was exceptional. The food was from the Perkins restaurant attached and I would not recommend it. We stayed in the lounge and ordered drinks and appetizers. The nachos were not edible.
The hotel site was clean and inviting from the grounds to the front lobby, which also carried into the room. The Queen bed room was larger than most rooms of that size and was very clean . The beds were comfortable as well as the pillows provided. The hotel has an onsite Restaurant and Lounge which makes it handy for overnight stays while traveling. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel.
This isn't the best hotel I've stayed at but wasn't the worse. Bed was comfortable and room decently clean. When I arrived at my room, my bed was torn apart and the carpet was wet of cleaner. The room was clean though so I put the sheets on and threw towels on the floor. I was tired.
Traveling back to home and this was a great place after 11 hours on the road. Much better than the last hotel I stayed in. I stayed in a couple of nice quality inns and another private hotel and the best western was better than all of them.
This is my favorite Best Western Hotel. I recommend it highly. Check in and out are a breeze. The staff is warm, friendly, and helpful; the rooms are spotless; the beds, comfortable, and breakfast is delightful: decent coffee, juice that is not watered down, real eggs, assorted pastries, bacon or sausage, biscuits and gravy; it's hard to choose. I have stayed here many times and recommend it to my friends who are traveling through Idaho.
This is a great hotel. The staff is very friendly, competent and professional. The room was clean and comfortable. The location is excellent in terms of local services. It was a good value for the service received.
We have s stayed in this BW probably a half dozen times and each time they have been working on improving it. This time, it was putting in an in-ground hot tub. The restaurant had new management and kitchen help--sorely needed at our last visit. We find the location of this BW convenient to the highway and not far from the park at the other end of town.
Fine, clean property with nice attentive staff. However, if you need internet service during your stay, you will be better off choosing another hotel. You are able to log on to their "provider", but forget about checking email, browsing, clicking a link or God forbid streaming!
So we stay at a lot of Best Westerns so we're pretty familiar with the difference between a BW and a BW+. We didn't think the room we had was of BW+ caliber (standard BW small room with door outside to parked vehicles). If you're looking for a room to stretch out in, these are not them (we had a standard king room). What does make the hotel a PLUS is likely the amenities. The restaurant attached to the property is good (you get 10% discount if you show a room key), there are lots of amenities for families: pool, volleyball court, shuffleboard, picnic area as well as fitness center, laundry ...etc. Stayed here because we had plans to visit City of Rocks.
Room was very nice with separate vanity area, closet, comfortable chair with ottoman. My only issue were the pillows. There were plenty, but all were beyond retirement age (lumpy ). Other than that problem, the place was wonderful. I will stay there again.
this is an ideal location for meetings is spacious and elegant and even when is on the side of the high way room and meeting rooms are quiet -love the courtyard and the pool setting in case you are traveling with kids.
I've noticed that most of the Best Westerns are changing to The Plus logo. I was used to the blue and yellow but I'll live. Our stay at the Burley Inn was nice. The room was clean, well appointed, and the staff friendly. The Plus part does not apply to the WiFi. I've had trouble with all the Best Westerns I've stayed in. Either you can't connect, won't let you log in, dumps you out or, like the last time, the bandwidth was too small and slow. Took forever to get in (kept timing out) and then you couldn't do anything. Recommend the hotel not the technology. Tech support get your act together.
Amazing place. We had 7 rooms for my wife and me, our 4 sons and their wives, and our 16 grandchildren. Arrival and departure dates were complicated, but staff worked everything out so there was no difficulty or inconvenience. The beautiful courtyard was a lifesaver for our family -- it was like having a small city park on site for our grandkids. We used a conference room for a family reunion dinner, served up by the attached Perkins. A perfect evening for us. I never could have imagined such a great place for all of us (aged 3 to 71).
Staff are very friendly, and very helpful. Rooms were clean and beds are comfortable. The restaurant offered a 10% discount as a hotel guest. Food was great, and the waitress was very friendly. The hotel is convenient and well managed. We were traveling from Oregon to New Mexico, and the hotel was convenient for us. I have always liked staying at the Best Western.
This is a fairly large facility. The staff was indifferent when I checked in and staff relations remained the same throughout my stay. The room seemed "stuffy" and not quite clean. No major dirt or dust, just not a clean feel. Breakfast was scheduled to start at 6:00am. Items began trickling in at 6:00 and continued to trickle in until about 6:10. Coffee ran out at least once during the time I was there. This place does not deserve to be classed as a BW Plus. I will go elsewhere next time.
Every part of the stay was excellent. And the staff were all very friendly and helpful. Have stayed there multiple nights and will definitely stay there again, any time I'm traveling near Burley Idaho!!!
Surprisingly, I've found myself traveling in Idaho several times in the past year. Each time I was near Burley, I stayed here. The hotel is generally clean and well kept. The staff is pleasant, upbeat, and helpful. There are many food options nearby and options for emergency shopping if you forget something. Have had a positive experience every time.
Stopped here on way moving cross country. Last stop on way to Utah. Good eats next door at Perkins Restaurant. Pool looked inviting-didn't make it in. Plenty of parking for a moving truck/trailer. I would stay here again
We stayed for one night while traveling through the area. We were pleased with everything. The grounds are very nice with a nice pool, many comfortable lounge chairs. Service was very good. Everything was clean.
Clean rooms, friendly staff, Perkins Restaurant on site, easy access to freeway and gas stations. The grounds and swimming pool are well maintained and pretty to look at. Good value on guest rooms and restaurant has fast service and classic breakfast lunch and dinner.
Staff was very friendly and helpful. One of the staff members saw a guest with a dog in part of the hotel that dogs were not suppose to be and was very polite and told her she would have to be moved to another part of the hotel as the floor the guest was on was all hypoallergenic. I didn't see the outcome but it was nice that she was looking out for those who have allergies. Also great check in (Thanks Tiffany) and she helped us find a wonderful place to eat (Stevo's). Some of the breakfast food was cold but the staff member in the breakfast area was on top of things and made things better and then took the time to let us know he had fixed the issue. We appreciated that!
My husband and I were very very very pleased with our stay at Best Western. Our room was always fixed up straightened and cleaned every day and every morning the breakfast was awesome! The people are always helpful. And the service was super!
This was a nice clean comfortable place to stay. We were headed home from Colorado Springs the room was cool on a hot day the bed was comfortable and the breakfast the next morning was one of the best. We wish we would have stayed here on the way to Colorado with our grandkids. Bacon eggs biscuits gravy fruit muffins many drink choices. Even sprinkles and chocolate chips and whips cream. The grounds were beautiful with an outdoor pool.
Great hotel-clean-updated-easy parking-access to shopping and restaurants-staff was professional-A/C worked great during this hot summer! The fitness center was nice and clean and I had it all to myself-
Family Reunion. We drove up from Arizona and we were exhausted when we arrived. The room was immaculate and the beds were the most comfortable I have slept in away from home. I was shocked how quiet the room was in spite of it being located new the major traffic routes and facing the pool area (which in itself was large and refreshing). The breakfast was again a most pleasant surprise-- hot and bountiful! I have got to find a reason to stay at your establishment again. Well done, Innkeeper!
My husband, daughter and I stayed in this motel for 1 night. We arrived quite late (12:30 am) and to our dismay we found the tile floor of the bathroom and sink area was all dirty. There were dirty shoe prints and dirt all over the floor as if it was not washed from the last guests. Also the toilet bowl still had a ring in it, the shower curtain had a stain on it, the walls by the sink were scratched and in poor repair and the cabinets were marked up. The bathroom floor boards were dirty and they did not look like they were cleaned for a while. The caulking around the tub needs to be replaced as well. The one good thing were the bed sheets. They were white and clean. However since the cleaning of the room was not very good I am skeptical of how "clean" the beds are.
One of the better BW. hotels. Very clean and updated. Very pleasant and accommodating staff. Could not say anything bad about this BW. Grounds and hotel is Impeccable, very pleasant stay , lounge on premises , big bang for your buck.
The hotel grounds are quite nice. The room was comfortable and the staff were helpful. It's kind of tricky to get into the parking lot, especially if you're heading north on Overland Road. The continental breakfast was minimal but there's a Perkins attached.
We stopped here for 1 night on the way home from Central Idaho. The hotel is all outdoor entrances to the rooms and we had one facing the outdoor pool on the first floor courtyard. The room is on the smallish side and we found it was mostly clean, however on the floor around the bedsides we found non-vacuumed carpet with food debris. Gross. The complimentary breakfast buffet was surprisingly well-stocked with many food items hot and cold and fairly extensive. The location is right off I-84 and easily accessible with many fast food restaurants around the area but not much else.
We had a room on the ground floor by the swimming pool. The room was very well kept, tastefully decorated, and had everything we needed. It was surprisingly quiet. The airconditioning did a very good job at keeping the room cool. The pool is surrounded by greenery and nice shade trees which makes it most pleasing. The breakfast included in the room rate was very adequate and perhaps a step above similar included breakfasts at other facilities. We had dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel. It is a simple facility that offers a good value - tasty, well presented meals at a very low price. And their pies are very nice. They offer the pies to go which in the past we have taken advantage of. I stayed at the hotel the first time in the 70s in connection with a family reunion in Oakley. It was lovely then and it has remained lovely over the years as the owners/managers keep it up to date and an overall good value.
It was an enjoyable stay. Great room, awesome customer service and they were pretty funny. Fast check in and the AC worked wonderfully. Next time I'm in Twin Falls I will definitely be staying here again.
TV worked but, was not watchable. Antenna service it appeared. Bed was horribly uncomfortable. A/C was noisy. Make sure you go to the counter and get your receipt before you leave. It won't get emailed to you and you can't retrieve it from the website.
It's a great place to stay overnight however there's hotel rooms in twin falls, which is only half hour away and their quality is par to the Burley Inn, with the bonus of much better discounted prices for the rooms.
The only negative thing I have to say about this hotel is that the television reception was not good at all. The rooms are a bit on the small side but other than that everything was nice. I was able to park very close to my room which made it very easy to unload thinginto and out of my room.
After 13 hours of driving it was a pleasant surprise to open the door to a clean smart room with plenty of space and amenities. I was able to get a quick dip in the pool and then get some dinner before retiring. it was overall a great experience , I even phoned home about it.
Overall my expectations were good. I wish the pool would have been open later and the bathroom for four people was inconvenient to get ready in (not enough space). The room was quiet and clean. Breakfast was satisfying.
We had a helpful guy get us a room and we enjoyed how nice the room was. We went here for our wedding night and it was a great experience to have such helpful people. The staff were very kind when talking to us.
This is an older hotel that has been well maintained and upgraded. My room was comfortable and clean, but not what I expected as a Best Western Plus. The bed was comfortable, but not a pillow top mattress that I expected. The bathroom was well-maintained, but very small due to it being an older hotel.
A very nice motel, with great food served in Bar or Restaurant. Reasonable price. The only drawback is no elevator, but they said one would be completed within next week. Nice area to spend a few nights.
When we go east through Idaho on I-84 we usually stay at the Holiday Inn Express in Twin Falls, but it was pricey this June. So we went a little further east on I-84 to the Best Western Plus in Burley. Whereas Twin Falls is quite a ways off the interstate, this hotel is right on the interstate. It is very nice, as nice as a Holiday Inn Express. In fact, the breakfast was better than at a Holiday Inn Express. The biscuits and scrambled eggs were tasty, there was plenty of variety, including fresh fruit, and the coffee was really good. My husband and I had a king room, and the bed was very comfortable. The room had bright lighting, for which I was grateful, and ample power outlets. The staff were friendly and professional, and the whole place was really clean and well-kept-up. I really enjoyed staying at this hotel, and I definitely recommend it to other travelers.
This hotel is great. The have wonderful staff members that are very friendly. We enjoyed our stay very much. All rooms overlook the courtyard where there is an outdoor pool and nice volleyball set up. We were traveling with our black lap and she was very comfortable.
We had to find a hotel late in the evening and had no reservation (our boat trailer burst two tires on the freeway near Burley). We also had out dog with us. I was worried we would not be able to find a good hotel that would accept pets on such short notice. I was pleasantly surprised when I called the Burley Best Western and they immediately got me a room and at a very reasonable rate. We arrived a few hours later and found a very receptive and caring front desk staff. Our room was very nice and clean. Our dog loved all the grass and we had a very enjoyable overnight stay even though our day had not gone as planned. I highly recommend this hotel.
Conveniently located off of I-84 but not so close that you hear highway traffic all night long. Multiple dining options withing walking distance of the hotel. All though the weather was poor during my stay, it appeared that the hotel had a great courtyard with outdoor activities.
My husband and I were in the process of moving from Wenatchee, WA to Henderson, NV and stayed at this property two weeks in a row during our move. The property is beautifully cared for, the rooms are wonderful and well decorated. The pool and courtyard are gorgeous and include sand volleyball, picnic tables and lots of furniture around the pool. The lounge was great - good prices and friendly staff. There is a Perkins as part of the hotel and the food was great and reasonably priced. Two gas stations, Taco Bell and Subway right next door as well. We would stay here again in a minute!
We always look for Best Western hotels because we typically can count on good service and comfortable rooms. We also like the fact they are typically pet friendly because our black lab likes to accompany us on road trips and breakfast is included!
Tyler was awesome at checkin!! I loved the bed, best I have slept in a while and the shampoo and conditioner dispenser was awesome! There is just never enough soap in the little bottles!! I will definitely recommend to my friends!!
Our room was very quiet including the air conditioner/heater. The breakfast area was large and kept very well supplied with one employee dedicated to doing so. Upon taking our things out of the room refrigerator, we discovered that everything, including medication was frozen. I told the person at the front desk and they seemed genuinely concerned, wrote down the room number and said they would pass that information on to other staff.
In search of a pet-friendly hotel on a very long drive to Denver. Our initial room was not to our liking so we were re-roomed immediately and courteously. The rooms were clean and modernized. The hotel was under renovation. So we some basics were missing. For instance, we couldn't find a working ice machine. The pool was drained and was being repaired/maintained. All in all, not that important for our stay. Great customer service with the potential, upon completion, for an additional star!
This is an older location but very well kept up. Friendly staff. Typical BW breakfast although they were 15 min late setting it up in the morning. Since we were interested in getting an early start , this was a minor inconvenience.
Everything was clean inside and outside. Had a coffee pot, a refrigerator , TV and soap containers on the wall. We had a king size bed and it was comfortable Only a single sink but desk and wifi. We were able to get a first floor room. Had a full hot breckfast in a nice clean room. The hotel was easy to find.
Great value for money. The rooms& bathrooms looked like they'd been recently renovated. They were large, and clean, and the bed very comfortable. The hotel is close to the freeway, so perfect for a stop-over on our road trip, and most importantly, they take dogs. We'll stay there again next time.
The staff are excellent! The check in process was quick and efficient even though the computer was slow. The room was very nice. Everything was clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very plentiful with lots of variety. We always stay here when traveling as it is our halfway point.
Love BW and always reserve rooms ahead when traveling. Arived later than expected and was welcomed with open arms and caring hearts. Got to our room and evertything was perfect. I walked to the front Perkins and ordered our dinner and even got a discount!!! Everything was more than expected. Thank You BW...
The staff, the room, the food, the facility all deserve a six star out of five rating, They went above and beyond. I am physically disabled and walk short distances with a walker. The disabled room met all my needs and was spotless. The breakfast was great! The Perkins Restaurant was wonderful. The area is safe. This staff is wonderful! All this at the lowest price I have found in a week on the road.
Quick and clean were the words to discribe this location. A bit overpriced for the season and location. More a motel than hotel with all the rooms exit to outside. Causes you to hear every sound outside VERY clearly. This includes your neighbors when the choose to chat outside your room at 3am and those early risers rolling their bags along the pavement at 5am.
This hotel is great at providing everything you need at an affordable cost. The bed's are great and so is the breakfast. That's all I need. The complimentary toiletries are not provided, but are instead in a dispenser that they refill between guests. I guess it's eco-friendly and more economical. That was probably the only thing out of the ordinary, which i appreciate.
The staff was excellent and the conference facilities were well set-up and staffed. I had a pet-friendly room that was easily accessible for my dogs and there was plenty of room around the hotel for walks and playing fetch. The dogs were happy and so was I!
I liked that it was easy to access the outside immediately from your hotel door!!! There were lots of nice grassy areas to walk dogs. Thank you for that! The hotel staff was very friendly and available to help!
Excellent service, very good location, i would like to stay again in the best western every time I'm out of the town, I personal recommended this hotel, they have very good service, and they have good breakfast
They totally remodeled this hotel a couple years ago. It was nice then, but now it has beds and bedding that are extremely comfy and cozy. They have nice furnishings, great Internet service and allow pets. The Spud Cellar is the lounge and it has several Tvs, outside area with table and chairs and lots of room inside. Just off the lobby it's all wood and glass and has a menu from attached Perkins till 11 p.m. excellent choice to stay and quiet.Outdoor large pool in center courtyard which is assessing from bar, lobby, lounge and rooms.Price is very comparable also.
The location was great. Near the freeway and good places to eat. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The service was excellent and helped. Breakfast was good. My room was clean, slightly outdated, but it was fine. The only issue was staying in room 143. The room had a door that connected to the adjacent room and any sounds from my neighbor next door could be heard. Otherwise the motel was adequate.
Left Salt Lake City late and was headed to Boise. Was tired and decided to get off the interstate at exit 208 to get a cup of coffee at the Perkins I saw advertised along the way. To my surprise there was a Best Western Plus at that offramp. I decided, rather than coffee I would just check in for the night. What a pleasant surprise: a beautiful place and the most friendly people in the world. Tiffany at the front desk couldn't have been more helpful. I was given a discount coupon to Perkins and ended up having supper. The food and service was great. The room was modern and well appointed and to my surprise the free breakfast was a lot better than average. I shall make it a point to stop there again in the future.
I happened to stay at the Burley Inn last Friday night. Great room and friendly people. Two packs of coffee so that I could have one in the evening and still have one left for the next morning. The room was surprisingly well decorated, the looby very attractive and the courtyard beautifully landscaped even though fall is just around the corner. Breakfast the next morning at the Perkins restaurant was a wonderful way to finish my stay in Burley although th eselection of fresh fruit was disappointing..
Do Not Stay Here! We were woke up in the early morning hours by a barking dog in the room next us. When I brought it to the staff's attention they were very nice but I was informed that it is the hotel owners dog and that nothing could be done about it! Nice job Hotel owner, you do not know the first thing about the hospitality business! Nothing says "enjoyable stay" like a yapping dog locked in a hotel room all day. I feel bad because the staff that do the real work were very nice but they are hindered by an inconsiderate owner.
Everything about the Conference, in a small community, was well planned and the hotel exceeded my expectations. The Internet in the Conference Room worked fine, it didn't in the hotel room. The black ring in the bathtub was offsetting.
This was a pleasure trip and Best Western lives up to their name. Room was very clean and staff always willing to help with guest needs. The breakfast was excellent and staff were friendly and greeted you with a smile. I will use this hotel again.
Was quite disappointed---far from the quality of Best Western Plus's that we have stayed in. Beds were uncomfortable and staff not all that hospitable. The lobby was quite nice---too bad they didn't pay as much attention to the guest rooms.
A great place to stay in Burley Idaho. The staff was nice, the place was clean and safe. Ample parking and a great restaurant attached that was open late. The bathroom in our unit was small but the room was large and very comfortable. At the present there is no elevator on the property so if the lower rooms are full and you need an elevator that could be a problem.
Our room was very comfortable and quiet. The temperature was easy to control and the cycling noise was minimal. The bed was cozy with lots of pillow options. We were given a 10 % discount to an attached Perkins for our dinner. The continental breakfast was typical, but the breakfast room was nice and very spacious.
Unfortunately we were not able to enjoy many amenities of the establishment. We stopped in the middle of the night for our stay. However, we were impressed with convenience to the interstate, very clean, parking for our vehicle with trailer and the fact they were dog friendly.
We found the BW a good value for an over night on our road trip to Canada. Rooms were clean and adequate, friendly service and a good breakfast. We did have a problem with double billing but hope it is in the process of being resolved.
The staff and service are great and very helpful. We stay here often on our trips between OR, CO and OH. It is an older motel with mid size rooms. The ADA rooms are fine with plenty of room to get around. They have a Perkins restaurant on sight and a separate full bar. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is well stocked and in its own separate room over looking the pool and grounds.
Great facility and friendly staff. Our room was clean and well decorated. Very modern. The beds were awesome! I am a light sleeper, but was surprised with how quite this facility was. The breakfast was simple. Was very disappointed in the waffles. Very "cake like" and soaked up the syrup. Nasty taste. The breakfast selection was limited. The front staff was helpful. I would stay here again.
The room was large and comfortable and the staff extremely helpful and friendly. The room amenities were good and the restaurant on site was excellent with a variety of good quality food. Check-in and checkout were simple and efficient and the wifi was fairly fsat.
Very nice hotel. Rooms are always clean and staff is always helpful. Like it here because the have a lounge and restaurant on site so you don't have to drive anymore. But there are plenty of other restaurants close by.
Comfortable and practical for a few days stay. I would stay here again if I return. Very easy access to stores and the freeway. Place is clean and lobby employees were helpful an informative to my questions.
Although it was an older motel, the rooms were nicely remodeled and CLEAN, the staff was extremely helpful and friendly and the breakfast was FANTASTIC! A bonus was that the shower had good water pressure and plenty of hot water! This trip was a quick trip so we didn't have a chance to swim in the well kept outdoor pool or play volleyball. Maybe next time but we all wished that we could have stayed longer.
Anytime we pass through Idaho we stay here. Friendly staff, really nice rooms, comfortable beds, good breakfast and quiet. And it is pet friendly. The courtyard is a nice place to walk our dog or to go out and sit.
This was the last stay on our recent trip to Oregon and we booked it on the phone as we driving on I-84 when we just couldn't go any farther. The staff and room was great..and the free breakfast was really nice with lots of options to eat and drink. This is probably one of the best options in the area for travelers.
Our stay here was very pleasant. Property was clean and well-maintained, though there were a few signs of wear here and there. Bed was very comfortable. Our room had a fridge and microwave, though we didn't end up needing them. Best part of the stay, though, was breakfast. They have one of the best hotel breakfasts I've encountered -- some hot dishes, waffles, and even a pancake-making machine. Lots of choices, including a wide selection of yogurt, breakfast cereals, and juices. We filled up to the point where we didn't need lunch until mid-afternoon! I'd definitely stay here again.
The grounds were beautiful with a huge outdoor pool! The lounge was set-up like a well appointed hotel bar and had a lovely outdoor patio area to boot. Can't say enough of how much I enjoyed my overnight stay!
This property was great. Nice workout room, pool and volleyball court. Very quiet. The property itself was very pretty and very nice. Staff was super helpful and nice. Room was great and clean. I would definitely stay there again.
The building, grounds and rooms were all well taken care of. Even though this isn't in a big city, the staff was professional and helpful. Breakfast offered a good variety of choices and was nicely presented. This is a good option for a stop along I-84.
I am very grateful for places with truck parking. This hotel can accommodate trucks. The breakfast was hot and had a vast selection of products. The rooms were clean, ac cold and the shower was hot. It was a great place to stay.
This is a wonderful place to stay and it is dog friendly! Beautiful place to walk around for a stroll or to walk your pet. Variety on breakfast items. Staff was very helpful and very friendly too. Nice quiet area and it was non-smoking which was wonderful!
Very clean, staff excellent to work with. My room was right up the stairs from the lobby and bar... which was quite noisy. Conference rooms were a little outdated but I understand they will be renovated soon. Catering/food was great. Being attached to Perkins restaurant is nice - however the bar and food service part are separate so there were multiple receipts... of which one I did not receive, much to my boss's dismay. If it's possible to retrieve receipts from May 18, 2016, please advise?
The hotel was very nice and the service was excellent. The room was nice and the bed was very comfortable. There is a Perkins restaurant connected to the building and the food was very good. The free breakfast was also very good. I will stay at this location in the future.
I almost cancelled my reservation based on some negative reviews I read here, but I'm glad I didn't. It was better than I expected. I was pleased by the cleanliness of our rooms, I liked the breakfast, only one fly sneaked in our room, there were no other insects in the room, and the bed was fine. Yes, I didn't prefer the pillows and the fridge froze my carrots, but it was okay. It was likely the best option for us in Burley. I liked that it was close to City of Rocks, our destination. We enjoyed the pool and staying up late watching a movie in our room.
We've stayed here twice now and really like the place. Very clean and comfortable rooms, fridge with freezer, good dog walking space, friendly staff. Great stop between the coast and Colorado, although a bit pricey.
Nice clean property just off the highway, have stayed a few times. Quiet and comfortable room. Free internet. Attached restaurant (perkins) not the best, but after a day on the road it saves more driving.
The lobby and courtyard are large and beautifully decorated and landscaped. Curved staircase to second floor impressive until you have to lug several heavy suitcases upstairs to the second floor. If you are older you might want to insist on the first floor. Rooms large and well equipped except missing a microwave. I like a hot tea first thing in the morning. Staff recommended I use the in room coffee pot or go downstairs and use the microwave. Well, the coffee pot heats water of course but it tastes like coffee. And I'm not going to go downstairs in my pj's. Come on! A new beautiful hotel was built with no elevator or microwaves!! Really Best Western? Seems like those two things are a necessity and would improve PR. The Bed appears soft and comfy at first, but does get pretty hard by morning on older hip bones. I do like that all is very clean.
Great for Kids. The pool has this huge section that is only 2 feet deep and is separated from the rest of the pool with little wall, and then the deep end goes all the way to 9 feet deep. We went with a group and it was perfect to hang out in the courtyard area between our rooms and swim. We also had our dog with us so the courtyard style was ideal.
Room was nice, nice furnishings. Bed was super comfy. Internet worked great. Lighting in sink/bath area was very dim. Walls are very thin, I could hear every word the neighbors said. No elevator, so if they put you on the upper floor, you have to lug your suitcases up two flights of stairs. Not a bad place to stay if the neighbors are quiet (good luck with that - it seems that no one has any consideration for anyone else these days), and if you need a workout carrying your bags upstairs. Oh, and bring your own light bulbs!
Very quaint, comfortable, clean, beautiful grounds, nice clean outdoor pool and awesome breakfast. Staff were friendly and helpful. We ordered dinner from Perkins restaurant right next door. No delivery service so we picked it up. Great value for the money. The pool closes right at 10pm, the manager came by at 945pm to warn everyone. Breakfast was very impressive with plenty of seating.
We stayed at this hotel because for some reason prices the day we were headed to Boise and planned on staying in Twin Falls, the hotel prices were just a lot higher than I wanted to pay! So we stayed in this hotel that has a very stunning lobby with a curved staircase that was very pretty. The room was clean and had a separate sink area that makes it easier for us to get ready. The discount on the restaurant next door was a perk and the food was really good there, kind of like a Shari's but better. (about the only thing open after 10pm too!) Great stay, wished we could have had time for the pool/hot tub, it was HUGE and clean and had the perfect spot in the sun! Oh, did I mention the sand volleyball court that was nicely raked! Would have been fun- will know for next time!
This is a great hotel. Looks like the 60's on the outside, but is great on the inside. Decent pool. Needs a hot tub. Is not raising prices to ridiculous rates like other Best Westerns in the west this summer.
This was a very pleasant place to stay. Easy off and back onto the freeway with a gas station right next door. Breakfast was very nice and the breakfast room was very clean. The grounds were well kept and all of the room faced the inner grounds which kept down the noise and gave a pleasant venue to look out on. I like the fact that the toilet and shower where in a separate room from the sink and mirror. Very much enjoyed our stay and would recommend this Best Western to anyone traveling in that area.
This is our first stop from Seattle to Boston. After driving for over ten hours and lots of desert...a cozy bed and clean room is welcomed. We got here too late for the pool. It closes at 10pm. They take pets. We brought two cats. Good Mexican in walking distance. Gas station next door. Right off interstate. Parking free and well lit.
Stopped here on our way to Utah as the rates in Twin Falls were high. Easy access, nice courtyard, renovated 2 years ago. HOWEVER, the bed was the worst my husband and I had in our 2 weeks on the road. Small breakfast area with limited choices. Doubt I will stay there again.
The hotel itself is great - it has a beautiful courtyard, pool. Friendly, welcoming check in staff. A great area for kids to play, which there were many. I have stayed twice and both times it is a busy place in the summer. It is a larger, older but very well kept property, so can get groups staying at it, like both time I was there. The room was small, but clean and the AC was great after a long day of driving! Breakfast was great, a lot of choices, but a small room. They used to have tables outside for the breakfast, but have removed those so it is crowded and a bit cutthroat to get a table. I unfortunately had loud neighbours so my stay this time was not very restful - but they were not partying they were simply talking in their room and outside. It was a section where you parked right by your door. It kept me up until they went to bed (even with earplugs) at 1am, then they got up at 6am. I was in a 100 (ground) level room to the left if you are looking from the office.
We had a great stay. We decided to spend some time swimming so we called the front desk to certify the pool hours be for I got myself and 4 kids dressed and to the pool.we go down to swim and it's closed due to some wind the night be for. the pool staff was very blunt and almost annoyed that we wanted to swim, and told us they would be at least 2 hours. But the manager was there and almost beat us back to the room with a coupon for 1 dozen cookies at the cafe(huge fresh warm chocolate chip). She was so apologetic and gave us a no hassle late check out so we could still enjoy swimming once the pool was clean. It only took about 20 minutes for them to have the pool clean and the front desk called us to let us know the pool was ready. We will be going back rates were good, rooms were clean and Breakfast yummy. And we had a nice treat for our 5 hour drive home.
Half way point on our trip. Very pleasant experience. Motel was clean, comfortable and convenient. Staff was very nice, bed were excellent. Perkins attached to the property open until midnight was very convenient.
Best Western normally has beds that are comfortable. The beds here were even better than usual. Very comfortable bed. Went right to sleep and slept all night. Like I was at home in my own bed. This was also a convenient location.
This is an older motel with outside entrances to the rooms. Makes it easy to park and take your bags inside. I generally avoid these because of security but the doors had multiple locks and I did feel safe. The wi-fi worked well, there was a restaurant next door and check-in and check-out was efficient. They offer a buffet breakfast but I didn't check it out. My only real complaint was the ironing board had no pad, only a thin cover so I used a towel for padding. This is probably the first time in ten years I've used an ironing board but a couple of my blouses had gotten pretty wrinkled in my bag so needed to touch them up!
When you need to go on the road, it sets your mind at ease to know that there is a place to stay that will meet all your requirements at the end of a long and tiring drive. The Burley Inn Best Western Plus is such a place. It's great staying there. Super comfortable mattress, great pillows, and a wonderful hot breakfast in the morning to make sure that you don't go back on the road hungry. I almost wish I didn't have to leave. A++
Our room was an Executive King. The entry way of the room was very large. The bathroom next to it was so small the door just missed the toilet seat. A person of any size would have difficulty moving around. There was dried soap on the counter top, the white enamel around the drain was not clean and the wood was chipped. The beds were comfortable with good bedding. The TV reception was grainy. Excellent breakfast and staff.
Room was nice and comfortable. Breakfast was one of the best that I have had at a Best Western. My partner thought there was going to be a jacuzzi spa when she booked the room but it was swimming pool only so she was not happy about that/.
We made a quick trip to Idaho for a family wedding. I was able to get a room with just a few days notice. The room was a "Pet friendly" one and the front desk clerk explained that they always ask if that is OK due to allergies. In fact, I think the room was extra clean because of that concern. It was great.
Hotel property overall was really nice. Rooms were very comfortable and clean, property was very nice, breakfast was above average, and staff was super friendly. Not a single complaint here besides the wet hay smell of Idaho.
Stayed to visit family. Hotel was great. Check-in staff was very friendly and helpful. Electricity went out in the complete hotel for about 4 hours in the middle of the night. Went to check with the front desk and they didn't seem real concerned that we had oxygen tanks that worked on electric and we were having problems. I was a little upset and didn't get much sleep. Hotel is very nice though.
Rooms were clean and comfortable and the pool and lawn area were beautiful. The staff was very friendly and helpful at check-in. And breakfast was very good. Not sure what happened, but as we were walking over to the restaurant for dinner, the power went out. Hotel and restaurant staff didn't seem to know how to respond to customers who were trying to check in to the hotel or pay their bills with credit cards at the restaurant. Would stay again if passing through the area again.
Pleasant stay, nice hotel, clean, helpful staff. During checkin, they were helpful getting me taken care of when I was not feeling well. I especially appreciated the easy check in and out. I will stay again if traveling through the area.
I checked into my room, was on the first floor able to park right by my room. Brought all our stuff in was getting ready for the pool & a man came in our room using a key card. He was very nice felt bad they had booked him in the same room. I right away locked the door with dead bolt called the front desk to make sure they turned his key card off because I am a single mother traveling with 2 children. They took care of it promptly. When checking out told the staff again what happened they felt awful! & understood how unsafe that could have been. I left the hotel feeling overall taken care of & happy.
I didn't stay here, just walked around to stretch my legs. It has a normal boring look from outside, but inside is a really nice courtyard with a pool, watered lawn ( cools things down, this is hot territory), and a carefully maintained volleyball put.
After 12 hours on the road we were so happy we had reservations at this hotel, and very pleasantly surprised! Such a beautiful lobby and friendly staff. Stylish, clean, and comfortable room and bed, and pet friendly!
We had been traveiling over 500 miles and were ready for a stop. It was a nice surprise to be next to a very nice restaurant. The next surprise was that wine was available from the Motel Bar. Yes, it was nice to sit back, enjoy a good meal and sip our wine.
This is an older style, drive to your door, motel with two floors and it is a fairly large, sprawling complex. If you don't have a ground floor room you get to lug your bags up stairs. The lobby is large and welcoming and they have recycling containers for cans and plastic just out the back of this room. Our room was fine, with a king size bed and room for an easy chair and ottoman beside it. They had the typical row of furnishings on the opposite wall from the bed and ottoman that included the desk, a dresser (with good size flat screen TV on top) and a wardrobe cabinet. I've seen this size room, layout hundreds of times. They had two sanitizing wipes in the room - one on the nightstand and one by the remote that impressed me as I've not seen this before. The bed was very comfortable with smooth, silky sheets. I didn't want to get out of bed! The bathroom area was nicely done and appeared to have been recently remodeled with nice cabinetry and tile that even had decorative metal inserts. I also noticed some decorative woodwork above the entryway that separates the bedroom from the bathroom - it seemed to really class things up. There was space in the bathroom area for a luggage rack. I liked the immediate very hot water. We did have trouble with the shower, as the curtain had broken snaps and that made it difficult to avoid getting water all over the floor. They could use more light in the vanity area - I was thankful I didn't need to apply any makeup. I seem to be on a roll of bad internet. I just don't know why, in this day and age, we have to deal with such poor internet. Maybe Burley just doesn't have any decent providers since it is in way eastern Idaho?? Breakfast had abundant choices. What stood out were the REAL scrambled eggs and plenty of bread/waffle toppings to choose from. They had cinnamon sugar which I don't ever see. One small note - they gave us a goody bag as Diamond Select members which was much appreciated. However, there was a note in the bag telling us we could get a free cookie from the Perkins (which is connected to the hotel). Well, the Perkins is being remodeled. I mentioned to the hotel staff that they should eliminate the note about the free cookie for the time being. We went ahead and bought our cookies at a Subway. Dining nearby - another reviewer recommended the Mexican restaurant nearby (El Caporal) and I have to concur. It is a short walking distance on the same side of the road as the hotel. The prices were very fair for what you got. We loved the complementary dessert they included, a flat sopapilla with honey and a huge dollop of whipped topping.
No elevator. No shampoo. Bed was like a trampoline. Not sure who's big idea it was to use "dinner-size mint" or "marshmallow-sized" pillows, but when I book a king-size bed, I expect adult-sized pillows. The room was clean. No microwave. I think all the resources were spent on the lobby and lounge. Breakfast was average. Overpriced hotel.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Burley, Idaho on a quick trip to Utah. The front desk staff was very helpful in accommodating our visit and acted in a professional manner. Our room was clean and comfortable. Even the roll-away bed was comfortable.
I recently stayed at the Best Western in Burley, ID and was extremely pleased with my room. It was quiet and the bed was very comfortable. Breakfast was included with the room and had a nice variety of food. The staff was very friendly and helpful too!
Beautiful facility, right off I-84 easy on and off. Perkins on the premises, has lounge nice and quiet. Pool right out the door. Front desk clerk was nice and helpful. Room had two queen beds, flat screen TV, fridge but no microwave. Shopping and eateries close by.
Stayed here as part of our 2 week trip in the northwest. The hotel was clean, attractive and room was very nice--large, comfortable and handicap friendly. Quiet, breakfast had large selection of both hot and cold items in a separate breakfast room. Area does not have many choices for eating out at night
Our room was not ready at 6:00 PM and they had our family wait in the lobby. The staff was very rude and the room was dirty. The coffee maker didn't work and they told us to go to the lobby for coffee. IF I could give them a negative score I would
We spend a night at Best Western Burley Inn on our way to Yellowstone National park. We arrived late, the staff at the front desk was nice. However, the room was at the first floor, though it was not bad, but we weren't able to open the window curtain due to direct view from outside for anyone walking by. The complementary breakfast with waffles, eggs, breads, juice and coffee were actually really good.
I recently stayed at your Inn and I was very satisfied from the room, bed, food, amenities and your staff were helpful and went out of their way to make my stay a great one. As a manager, I appreciate great service and I encourage my employees to treat every customers with respect and helpfulness and I can say that all your staff made me feel welcome and like I was part of the family! Keep up the good work and kudos to who ever trained your staff! Great service is greatly appreciated when I am on the road and I will recommend your Inn to our company. Thank you all, for all you do! Victor
The Burley Best Western is conveniently located right off the freeway; across the street from shopping and good local restaurants. We have stayed here before, usually in the main part of the hotel, this time we were in an outer access room which had been recently remodeled and very, very nice amenities.
My wife and I stayed at this property two nights. This property is an outside entrance motel, no inside hall corridors. We could hear the occupants next door snoring through the walls. On one weekend night, we were awaken by cars reving their engines on the road/gas station right next to the Motel. It was very annoying. Not a place to get restful sleep.
Had to stop soon, my bones were as tired as they get. So we do a search and find another beautiful Best Western Plus Motel in Burley, Idaho, the best place for a needed rest. Like the one in Kingman, AZ this one had beautiful, spacious, and CLEAN comfortable rooms that allowed pets. Again I can't tell you how nice the breakfast was. What a nice start for another day of travel on the way to our home in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho.
I never have a problem with this place. Every time I stop in Burley, I stay here. Always satisfied. Clean, quiet, friendly, and comfortable. There is food nearby. Mostly fast food, but the Mexican place next door does a pretty good meal (and, I don't mean the Taco Bell.) I'm glad I get to travel to Idaho again so I can stay here.
We chose Burley as our overnight stop because we prefer the smaller towns on this road trip. Pleasantly surprised by the large hotel, with a grassy courtyard in the center. We were traveling with our small dog, so this hotel was a great dog-friendly overnight. Came in when it was dark, and found that the signage on the many hotel wings and buildings was not easy to read, so it took some extra effort to find our room, but once we did, we found plenty of parking very close by. Super comfortable beds, lots of easy dining options nearby (our favorite fast food while on the road is Subway, which is right next door). Overall, a refreshing night's sleep on a long journey home.
We stay here often on our trips between OR and CO. It is an older motel with mid size rooms. The ADA rooms are fine with plenty of room to get around. They have a Perkins restaurant on sight and a separate full bar. The complimentary breakfast in the morning is well stocked and in its own separate room over looking the pool and grounds.
This is a very pleasant place to rest on a long trip. Rooms are clean and quiet and the staff is very friendly. We particularly enjoyed the restaurant on site and had a fine meal. Try the fried dill pickles.
This was my husband's favorite place we stayed in on our travels this vaka. The bed was really comfy. It was clean, it smelled genuinely descent, not chemical to squelch the stink. I was surprised that our room was not in a main building, we had to walk from where our car was parked to the room's outdoor entrance. There were quite a few rooms, on two levels that were outdoor entrances. Some of them would have involved a LOT of walking and steps, so communicate your needs to get what you want when booking room. The breakfast room was back in the other building. The breakfast was probably the best we had provided at a motel. Not a whole lot different from average fare, but a little beyond that, went the extra step, good fruit. It is an older remodeled business, and it was done fairly well. No problem with noise, got a good nights sleep.
The hotel is located a short distance off of the freeway making it easy to get there and back. It is located near a couple of restaurants, gas stations, Walmart, and some shopping. The lobby is nice, modern, updated and welcoming. It is very clean. The rooms are standard rooms. Our stay was in a double queen. There is a TV, desk, a small cupboard to hang your clothes, an Iron and ironing board. The coffee pot is still located in the bathroom -(is that sanitary?) No microwave or small refrigerator that you find in other hotels. The bed was surprisingly comfortable - soft and bouncy. Pillows were a bit fluffy. I'm glad I brought my own. The hotel is non-smoking. The internet was accessed by a password and seemed to be reliable. They also give you a 10% off voucher to the Perkins restaurant on the property. There is an outdoor courtyard with a pool. The pool did not have water in it - I would assume that April 22-24 might be too cold to swim and may be the reason the pool was empty. Breakfast was great. It is in a separate room accessed from the outside. Menu: scrambled eggs, biscuits, sausage, gravy, waffles and fixings, a pancake machine, fruit, breads and pastries, cereal, juice, milk, and coffee (probably not a complete list). The room was not overly crowded. Customer service - not pleasant. Checking in was fine. They asked if it was ok that I was on the 2nd floor. I appreciated being asked. I stayed there while attending a wedding in Rupert. I decided to stay an extra night. Looked up online what the price would be - The hotel's website said $88. I went downstairs to see if I could stay an extra night and what the cost would be. The attendant said $97. I showed her the price online and she told me that was only if I booked online. I said that is what I would do-she told me I would have to check out and then check back in later and move rooms. She tried to tell me that I was already getting a good deal because my Friday night stay was $103 so I was getting a $6 discount already. I originally booked my stay on their website. She would not honor the price difference. All she had to do was extend my stay on the computer and re-swipe my key card. Not wanting to change rooms and knowing that I would not be back to the hotel until late in the night. I told her just to extend me the room one extra night. I usually stay at the Hampton Inn in Burley but all rooms were booked that weekend. I will probably go back there. I've never experienced that kind of service when asking for an extended stay.
This is an older motel with medium-sized rooms, but our room was very clean. The staff was helpful and friendly.. The breakfast was perfect, with the breakfast room large and very well maintained/serviced. The food was full-breakfast style and good.
The Beds were very comfy, the Breakfast Buffet was loaded with great options.I would recommend friends and family to stay here when coming thru Burley Idaho. the time we spent here was comfortable, they had a very friendly staff and were accommodating to our needs as a large group. Thank you .
Of all the places I have stayed, including other Plus Best Westerns, This is the Best in all ways--loved it! Everyone was friendly, very clean, and having Perkins, which was also very clean, friendly & good food, right there with out having to go outside was great.
Traveling and got in close to midnight. This was no problem for the front desk at all. Good service. Room was clean and quiet. Nothing special to list but that is a good thing. We got a good nights sleep and had a decent breakfast the next morning before hitting the road again
It was a nice place for a getaway. We stayed three nights and two full days. We were going to go and stay in Twin Fall, but opted to go back to Burley. We checked back into the Best Western Plus. Our rooms were clean. The amenities are close, like food, gas, shopping, and easy access to I84. We would stay at the Best Western Plus again.
This was a very excellent hotel to stay at, they had plenty of parking for our truck and trailer, they were very friendly and treated us great. They were very accommodating to our dog. The room was clean and pleasant. they have a outside entrances so you are not stuck in hallways. Would recommend this hotel and will stay again.
Found on Internet on AARP site. We're expecting standard hotel experience. BY Burley exceeded our expectations. Nice grounds, very nice room, pet friendly, good breakfast. Overall great place, we'd stop again in a minute.
This Best Western PLUS Burley Inn is in a nice location and was perfect for an overnight stay for us. Our room was nice and clean, the restaurant close-by, and the full breakfast was very good with several hot and cold items to choose from. We would have liked to have stayed longer and would like to return again another time.
The check in process was slow but the lobby was nice so it helped make the waiting bearable. It has a beautiful courtyard with well maintained grounds. The sand for the volleyball court was clean. The room was comfortable and clean. Nice breakfast. We enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
I was expecting a typical hotel when we stopped for the night at this Best Western but when we checked in I was immediately impressed. The courtyard is gorgeous, the lobby is beautiful. The complimentary breakfast was filling. The staff was helpful. I will definitely stay at this hotel if I end up in the area again.
friendly staff, clean, comfortable room, good breakfast...quiet...everything was very good..location was great with restaurant (Perkins) and gas station next door...would highly recommend...reasonably priced
Newly and beautifully renovated. I love it. Great people, great pool, great full complimentary breakfast, great wifi, great clean rooms, great management etc. etc. etc. All of those greats and more add up to a "great" stay. Loved it. I think you will as well. If traveling along I-84 stop here on purpose!!
Half way home from vacation - great stopping point. Could have spent more time in town,, but just interested in a meal ad sleep. Internet could have been better. Room was nice and comfy, service good or better. Attached Perkins was a good value for dinner and did not have to deal with wind
Very nice setting. Breakfast at Perkins was a big treat. Every staff member I asked help from gave it without hesitation and with enthusiasm. I even had help catching my cat. I would stay here again if I am in the area.
Great hotel for the price. Older hotel but very well maintained. The hot breakfast was very good and well cared for. 2 employees kept up with the busy morning. Bed was great, room was comfortable. Bathroom was small but clean and functional. Enjoyed the M&M's in the lobby.
What a terrific hotel. The staff was warm, helpful and welcoming, never tiring of questions asked. The room was great! Shower wonderful and bed comfortable and very clean. We would return. We grabbed a light dinner in the lounge/bar and was welcomed by Jody, smiling and warm with suggestions for dinner. The restaurant adjacent to them does offer a full menu if you're hungrier. The grounds were well groomed and many amenities offered.
Overnight stay with two small dogs, appreciated the hospitality and the room location. Very nice breakfast set up. Clean rooms. Attached restaurant, Perkins. Comfortable Best Western, but not sure why they have a Plus.
Let me tell you my story and how The Best Western Plus and it's amazing staff helped me out tremendously. I am from a small town in Nevada, but I attend college in Montana. I went home for a week to visit my family since I didn't have a spring break because I went to Nationals in Missouri with my college basketball team during that time. Going home was great and seeing my family was even better. The day I had to leave I decided to stay in Twin Falls Idaho with one of my old high school friends and I planned on leaving about 4 in the morning to head back to college(about 7 more hours to go). As soon as I got on the road a HUGE snow storm hit me! I am driving a 2015 dodge dart so if you can imagine, this car is not made for this type of weather. The highway was so terrible you couldn't even see the other side of the road. To make it worse I was right behind a semi that slid off the road and almost hit me trying to gain traction. I was on the road for about an hour and it snowed about 5 inches in that time. I knew I had to find the nearest exit because my nerves were going through the roof by how terrified I was. Luckily I BARELY found an exit and it was to Burley Idaho which I have only been to a few times in my life so I am not familiar with the town at all. I pulled into a Hotel parking lot which was by a gas station and got some water and was trying to figure out what I should do. Really just trying to calm myself down from the adrenaline rush I just experienced. Being in college I definitely didn't have the money to stay in a nice hotel like this so basically I was stranded. I had a winter coat in my back seat so the best thing I could think of was to just get some sleep in my car and hope the storm passes. Woke up about 8 am and it was still snowing as hard as it was earlier that morning. There was about a foot and few inches of snow on the ground. My phone was dead and would not charge. I decided to go into the hotel to call my mom and let her know what was going on as I knew she would be worried because she has not heard from me. The front desk over heard my story and let me come sit in the lobby so I could charge my phone and do some classes on my laptop because I was missing class that day. The Sales Manager, Cammon Wutzke, also somewhat heard what I said asked what was going on and took the time to listen to my long story. Being so considerate he took me to the Perkins restaurant that is connected to the hotel and gave me a free meal from there. I felt so blessed that someone was so nice to help this silly little college girl out. To top that off he looked up the weather to where I was going and even called some of his family who lives in Montana to see if it was safe enough for me to drive. It obviously wasn't so the hotel staff got me a nice hotel room right next door and I couldn't be more grateful. I understand these reviews should be about how the hotel looks and it cleanliness and what not, but I honestly don't know what I would do if the staff at the Best Western Plus did not help me out. Amazing people that genuinely care about their customers. I would recommend anyone to come to this hotel if you want to feel welcomed and comfortable. These people barely knew my name and treated me like family. I would like to say thank you to the staff of The Best Western Plus and especially Cammon Wutzke for taking care of me.
I was very impressed with this hotel stay. Excellent customer service, good value, modern rooms, tasty breakfast. i would highly recommend this hotel for anyone passing thru Burley Idaho. The bed was comfortable, easy to operate thermostat, friendly staff. and helpful. The breakfast had multiple options for eating and this would be a great stop for a family.
I have stayed at this hotel in the past and enjoyed my visit. However this time we were sharing this location with a extremely large youth group. The people next door kept us awake till 12:30, paper thin walls. Next time we check out the Fairfield Inn.
This USED to be our go-to place to stay when in the Burley, Idaho area. They are still pet friendly but no longer smoker friendly. After visiting family, we came back to find ants in our bathroom. In December! Called the front desk and was told he had nothing to help us get rid of them. When we checked out a couple days later, the front desk knew nothing about the ants.
Just checked in and the room is so clean! Hand sanitizer near the phone and remote, love that! Great bed. Coffee maker, hair dryer, iron and board, fridge and clock. No microwave tho. Restaurant amd gas station next door. Easy to get to and close to freeway. Staff was super checking us in. Well lit outside parking. Would stay again!
The only hotel we had parking at our unit and which had a restaurant Perkins attached to the hotel. The walk to the main area was quite far away from our room on cold evening and morning. The room was huge with nice lounge chair and everything neat and clean. Very friendly staff helped us. Perkins served good homestyle country cooking. We also tried their famous pie for dessert. Dog Friendly
We stayed in two rooms for one night while on our way to visit Pomerelle Mountain Resort. The hotel is conveniently located off I-84 and just 28 miles from the resort. We liked that the hotel offers complimentary: buffet breakfast (hot & cold), all day coffee/tea, M&Ms - even though there were restaurant and bar/lounge on site. The hotel's remodeled rooms are clean and well equipped with flat screen TV, many outlets for charging our numerous devices, free wifi, refrigerator, comfortable beds and bright lighting. The hotel's main building which houses the lobby/check in and other public areas are located next to a gas station and close to fast food and other restaurants and shopping. The rooms are in a separate U-shaped building behind and thus set away from the road and businesses - the layout makes the rooms quieter than expected. However, because it's a separate building, you have to go outside to get to the rooms. The doors to each room are outside (no enclosed, interior lobby) and face the pool area which was closed when we visited. Parking is outdoors and behind the rooms. Staff is very friendly.
Clean, elegant motel, not hotel. Hotels are indoors. This was more like a motor lodge, but with a really nice fancy lobby. Decent price. Comfortable rooms with comforters on bed. Bathtubs. Awwww. Great breakfast. Also no elevator.
I enjoyed my stay at the Burley Best Western Inn. Its rooms were a little dated and the TV was in some zoom in mode on the cable, but it was clean and comfortable and close to some great tasty restaurants. I was recommended a Mexican food place on the complex there close by and it was amazingly flavorful with good service. I would go back again.
I was in Burley for a fire academy and stayed here. It was very clean, comfortable, the staff was very friendly, and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. It was nice that it was walking distance to restaurants and there was even a small lounge in the lobby. I will definitely stay here again next year.
Burley's Best Western does a great job of offering a convenient location for travelers along Hwy 84. Terrific amenities for families, or the commuter who needs an overnight lodging. The rooms are clean, spacious, reasonably priced and close to fast food restaurants, as well as a Perkins on-site. The rooms offer comfortable beds, free wi-fi, separate dressing areas from the bathroom and access to a variety of TV programming. It's close to the Frwy off-ramp, but the noise level is non-existent in the rooms. I'd recommend this to anyone seeking a good, moderately priced motel that reflects yers of good care and maintenance.
I crashed my car near Burley, Idaho and the tow truck took me and my little sister to the Best Western PLUS Burley Inn. It was a stressful situation but the staff helped us a lot. The General manager gave us a complimentary hotel room for the night and hot continental breakfast in the morning. The front desk worker Garrett was very friendly even in my stressed state. The beds were comfy and warm. Overall, the management and staff made this experience exceptional and they helped us in one of the most stressful situations I have ever been in.
We've stayed here many times and have always been satisfied with our time here. They added a great breakfast (included) since last time we were here. Very easy access to and from the highway, and there's a good Mexican restaurant within walking distance, El Corporal. In room wifi was good, rooms are very clean and comfortable.
Great location off the freeway. Great value. Enjoyed the (included) breakfasts. The staff at both the check-in desk and the Perkins Restaurant were very friendly and cordial. Since our stay was in January and it was very cold, we enjoyed the very warm (hot) water for showers and baths and the courtesy coffee/hot chocolate bar.
No pool or hot tub available as manager told us they are not compliant with disability access and shut down. Internet is like a gerbil on a wheel. Slowwwwwww doesn't begin to describe it so be prepared. Most uncomfortable beds I've slept on in three countries in the past year.
Nice hotel, and very nice staff. We had plenty of parking -- this is a great location for a personal get away or retreat. We arrived late and the staff were helpful in checking us in quickly, so we could go to our room and then look for something to eat.
I'm easy to please, however...this was a Murphy's Law Experience. Didn't get my wake up call, no clock in the room, coffee pot was missing the packet holder (no coffee) Somehow I was in a handicap room... I did go to breakfast and it was really good.
I have stayed at Burley Inn many times. It is always a pleasure to return. The beds are comfortable, rooms are clean and quiet. The remodel looks great !!! I recently purchased pillows from them for home use - They are that comfortable. The current front desk manager Shannon is almost the best ever.
Was very tired..traveled 850 miles in snow, sleet and slick roads...so please with the service when we checked in! Would definitely recommend for business or pleasure to others. The first night of our trip we stayed at Best Western in Flag City, California and was equally pleased!
I recently attended a company christmas party at the Best Western and I was just appalled to hear the General Manager complaining to a fellow attendee that the food couldn't have been very good because there was so much chaos in the kitchen, as a customer based company employee I couldn't believe the General Manager of the Best Western was complaining to a customer that the food must not have been good because of what happened in the kitchen, when do you ever have a conversation with a customer where you immediately start making excuses for the food maybe being not as good as it could have been, if I was the chef or banquet manager I would have been outraged, but then I hear they fired the new banquet manager after only a month so maybe he or she heard and did complain. I thought the food was great and so was the service.
It has been updated so the rooms are nice. I didn't like the fact that our room had outside access(should have research that more thoroughly). Beds are soft but firm, pillows are full. The bathroom was very small. Walls were pretty thin. The breakfast was excellent.
Staff seemed unconcerned with issues. There was a question of price that was handled well but after that it was down hill. All calls to the front desk went with oh sorry, and no offers to help remedy the situation.
I'm a truck driver so I tend do be limited in where I can stay, meaning I need to have space to park my rig. This place is clean, quiet, the service is great, the rooms are nice and I can park my truck in their lot. The Mexican place next door (not the Taco Bell) serves a pretty descent meal. Every time I'm in Burley I stay here.
This is my third stay at the Best Western Burley Inn. Garrett is the best front desk clerk I've encountered in a very long time. He is courteous, friendly and helpful. Burley is a halfway destination point for me so I plan to stay there as long as I need to make this particular trip. There is trailer parking on-site, a Perkins restaurant, a bar and a couple fuel stations. A very convenient place.
We always are pleased staying here. This trip we were able to check in early when we arrived in town, which was nice. The staff are very friendly and helpful. Was a little surprised the breakfast buffet was changed. That was what I enjoyed when staying here. But it was just as good with a few things missing.
Stayed one night for a conference, staff was all extremely helpful and accommodating to last minute needs and changes. Tara and Breanna gave the extra effort to make sure things went perfectly. The food was delicious. Everything ran like a machine.
This hotel is conveniently located off of I-84. It is an older property which has had attempts to upgrade. Rooms are small but clean. Our room had a refrigerator but no microwave. The bed was interesting as the sheets were threadbare and wrinkled and wouldn't stay in place as it appeared king size sheets were used on a queen bed with no mattress pad. The mattress was soft and not the most comfortable for my back. The breakfast room was what you would expect and staff was friendly. We ate dinner at the adjacent Perkins which was nothing special and would look for something else on a future visit. Not sure how this property qualifies as a Best Western Plus other than for its size and meeting rooms.
Our room was clean but with small water closet. the breakfast buffet was pretty standard with scrambled eggs, link sausage, biscuits & Gravy, make your own waffles, cereal, pastries, fruit, and juices.
Traveling from the east coast to the west coast and decided to stop here in Burley and not continue on to Twin Falls do to the reviews of this hotel. I think I am closing in on 150 reviews on trip advisor and I have to say this is by far the worst hotel experience I have ever had.The front desk person was not professional. They bar had obviously local belligerent drunks watching Thursday Night Football. The food in the bar was terrible Perkins restaurant from next door. The water in the shower I had to jimmy rig to get it to turn on. I don't know what else to say but this place is simply worth passing by. The beds are very comfortable but the experience is not.
The room, facilities, staff and restaurant were all very good. This is an excellent place to hold a conference. The location is central to State-wide meetings. The staff was always polite and efficient.
The last two times I have stayed at Best Western properties, the service and welcome has been outstanding. The room was clean and well appointed. The internet was helpful; and easy to use. The staff is outstanding in their service and welcoming.
Once you check in, there is no need to go anywhere else. There is a lounge and restaurant attached! Perfect setup when traveling. The hotel and restaurant staff are a top shelf group. Parking is very easy, even with a truck and trailer.
We selected the Best Western in Burley ID for several reasons: we had had several recent good experiences with Best Western Plus hotels; TripAdvisor reviews; we had driven about as far as we could stand to that day. Normally we prefer hotels whose rooms open into an interior hallway, but after we checked in we found that it was the kind where the room opens to the parking lot. Nevertheless, we enjoyed our stay in the room. The 'Plus' in Best Western Plus is evidently awarded to new facilities that are newly constructed or recently renovated. Our room had new furniture in the sleeping area and new finishes and fixtures in the bathroom. The breakfast room was spacious and the hot and cold food selections were above average. But there is one flaw in the design of the breakfast room - a door to the outside opens directly into the breakfast room. Whenever anyone enters or leaves thru that door, the nearest 7 or 8 tables are unfortunately reminded of the weather outside. There should at least be a vestibule. In spite of this, we would stay again at this hotel.
This BW property deserves its Plus rating. Quality throughout the facility from the reception area to the room. Only complaint -- stopper on the sink was out of order. I find this more and more often, that attention to detail is lacking and many motels. It is like it is the guest's job to identify and report the problem.
The Best Western Plus in Burley, ID is the best choice for lodging in the area. The rooms were excellent, breakfast was excellent, and the staff did everything possible to make all of us welcome and comfortable. I will definitely make this hotel my choice in the future.
This hotel is a 10 in every way. The hotel lobby is newly renovated and gorgeous. The hotel rooms are very nicely appointed with large flat screen TV's and very comfortable beds. The breakfast room is newly remodeled as well and is very clean and modern and the food and service is excellent. The hotel staff is extremely friendly and always had a smile and a hello. The outside courtyard area is so beautifully landscaped with a relaxing pool area. You can't ask for anything more.
Hundreds of Beautiful Geraniums in full Bloom even in Late October, trees around the pool were beautiful as were the well manicured lawns. Was treated like a Diamond Member! Lobby area is fantastic, desk top computer, comfy chairs, fire place, coffee, great area to relax.
Everything was great here. I especially enjoyed the beautifully manicured grounds. Absolutely gorgeous in the middle of idaho's desert. The beds were nice and comfy too. I REALLY liked the recent upgrades; the new furniture, linens etc. The water pressure in the shower was VERY relaxing. I will be timing my trip in the future so I can stop at this particular hotel.
If you need a quiet nights sleep off I 84, stop in at Burleys Best Western. The best breakfast I have had at any Best Western and I've been to many. Nice easy access for large trucks, and has a Perkins Restaurant on site.
Comfortable; nothing special in roadside accommodations. Dog friendly. A night by the side of the interstate in an improbable location, to visit La Plaza Restaurant in Buhl, ID, on the way to Las Vegas (It ain't happening in Burley)
Nice lobby & grounds, pleasant reception staff. We were only there for one night, and we were quite comfortable. The room was smallish, but again it was a short stay and we weren't having a dance party. Wifi worked just fine. Breakfast was good & plentiful.
We have stayed at this location in the past, and planned our most current trip around staying here as we were heading to California. The staff is efficient, courteous and friendly. Rooms are extremely clean and comfortable as well as pleasing to the senses. Breakfast is above average and the location is easily accessible. Thanks again, for a great stay!
I was disappointed in the level of helpfulness provided by the two front desk employees. There was no willingness to provide help with anything including assistance with future reservations or suggestions about use of a microwave somewhere on the premises.
I was pleasantly surprised by this property. Dog friendly, staff congenial and rooms large, clean and comfortable. It was nice to have access to the restaurant also. We arrived late evening and were able to get a salad and sandwich. The food was convenient and decent.
I attended a convention at this hotel. While the section of the hotel that I stayed in was the "motor lodge" section the room was clean and comfortable. I enjoyed very much the comfortable mattress in my room and I slept quite well. During the convention the service staff was outstanding in accommodating the needs of the attendees. What was particularly impressive was the a/v equipment provided by the hotel. There were no problems with the mikes and the sound system. The banquet and breakfast meals served by the hotel were decent and I never heard any of the attendees complain about portion size.
My recent stay at Best Western for a Writer's Conference went smoothly. The service and room accommodations were ideal. Several times staff members helped hang signs or provide pencil sharpeners. I heard of no problems and plan to stay there again if I am in the Burley area.
The room was just great, clean and comfortable. It was actually also very quiet and located in a great spot. Nearby restaurants, WalMart and gas stations on the premises. Had a really nice hot breakfast with lots of cold items to satisfy anyone. The pool was very nice, even though an outdoor with a very cozy and nice fitness center that I made good use of. I actually walked downtown from there, takes about 45 minutes. Would definitely stay there again.
Desk clerk at check in was very pleasant and helpful. As a diamond member we received our gift bag and was able to check in early with out a hitch. Lovely room, beautiful grounds, very comfortable bed, nice furnishings. The place is huge and was full with 2 conventions and a couple of baseball teams. No problems with anything, very quiet comfortable night. All the amenities you could need. Breakfast was excellent. Dinner at the adjoining Perkins restaurant was adequate. Very clean, comfortable, pleasant surroundings. We would stay there again in a heartbeat. Price was very reasonable for the quality.
We arrived at 2am and checked out at 8am so we didn't get much of a stay in this hotel. What I did observe is that the water was hot, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was helpful, and the inner courtyard with pool & volleyball courts was BEAUTIFUL.
