Resumen de la reserva
Very nice hotel, very clean and friendly staff. This was our first time at this hotel and was very pleased with our overall experience for the weekend. We would definitely stay at this hotel again if we traveled to Bridgewater..
Overnight in the Bridgewater area. We stayed here while checking out a couple of attractions in the area, including Lunenburg. The staff here are friendly and accommodating. This location serves one of the better included breakfast packages. A unique feature is the small display of Glenn Murray memorabilia in the main lobby. The location is a bit off the beaten track as it is outside the city in a commercial/ industrial area. This is not too bad as it is easy to get around. We stumbled across a very well done Veteran's Memorial Park which honours those who served. I suggest a visit while in the area.
Very nice property with friendly and efficient staff. Pet friendly. The complimentary breakfast was excellent. Room was very clean and well maintained. Close proximity to shopping and tourist attractions. Large parking area and plenty of space to walk dogs.
The location was not the greatest. Not walking distance to much of anything, but a short drive into the town. However, the hotel itself was very clean, modern, quiet. Plenty of (free) parking available, and the staff were friendly and helpful. In all of our travels, these rooms had the MOST comfy beds! Strong shower too...
We booked this hotel for one night .....My husband, myself, and two 16 year old grandchildren. The hotel is in a great location....close to shopping and restaurants. It is clean and lovely and the staff are friendly and helpful. A hot breakfast with a good selection is included in the price of the room. Our room had two queen beds which were very comfortable. The room was very quiet and we all slept comfortably. We took advantage of the pool and the grandkids enjoyed the slide. Overall I would definitely recommend this hotel You won't be disappointed.
Loved this location, after a busy day in the city, we decided to stop here on the way home. They have room service, a waterslide in the pool and I loved it! The food was great in the restaurant, I ordered a stirfry and it reminded me of pad thai, the breakfast was good too!
Great hotel, all new and fresh.Excellent for families with water slide and hot breakfast included. Wonderful price for what you get.I would recommend this hotel for everyone. Across from mall and restaurants in walking distance
Wanted to stay in Bridgewater for a Medical Appointment and spend time in Lunenburg area to celebrate our anniversary. At check in I asked for a Quiet room and a possibility for a King which they were happy to provide for no extra cost.
We stayed at this Best Western and were very pleased. The staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was clean. The breakfast was very good. The exercise room was well equipped. The facility had a very good restaurant.
Nice rooms, comfy bed, good breakfast and always great service. The meal we had Saturday night was okay, a little pricey for what we got but OK. The highlight was the special drink of the week a Blueberry Gin Fizz tasty but not too sweet
Stayed 2 nights for a family wedding & everything was held at the hotel it was a execelent facility for the event, staff were very friendly, helpful & accomadating. The staff not only treated us well but they welcomed & spoiled our dog as well. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone very clean, friendly staff, and they are pet friendly with a lovely walking trail behind the hotel
We attended a wedding at this hotel and all aspects of our stay and the wedding was amazing. The breakfast is wonderful with lots of cold and hot choices. The restaurant food is amazing. The rooms are really modern and clean. The staff are so helpful and nice. Good value and I would never hesitate going again. Plus if you have kids the pool and slide is awesome! The kids loved the slide.
Rooms are very clean and comfortable, service is very good, close to everything and even nice walking trails. The food in the restuarant is good and lots of options. The free breakfast also provides alot og options. Staff are very attentive
I booked 2, 2 queen rooms for 4 days. Rooms are spacious and clean and beds are comfortable. I enjoyed the large saltwater pool. We found the location great for heading out to attractions in the area. There are many restaurants nearby as well as well-known retailers. The staff are extremely helpful and very welcoming. The wifi is slow. I would recommend earlier breakfasts as the breakfast area was very busy nearer the end. Breakfast times had been extended for summer but even more time might be helpful.
I met up with a friend for a girl's catch up session. We sat on the shaded patio and enjoyed a delicious homemade cheesecake and ice cream. Great service and a welcoming atmosphere. Good service is always a reflection of good management. Keep up the good work!
great place to spend night or nights ,great people and helpful. were great in letting us know about area and taxi service also.food was great and great rooms also.every thing so clean and air conditioning was great .
Anyone wishing to explore Nova Scotia's gorgeous South Shore would be hard pressed to find a better place to call home than the Bridgewater area. As long-time travellers, my husband and I have stayed in literally hundreds of accommodations of every variety all over North America and Western Europe. Many don't even come close to the high standards offered at this lovely hotel near Bridgewater. Upon arrival, we were impressed by the beautifully kept grounds and cleanliness of the parking area. The lobby is airy and spacious, the check-in desk easily accessible and we were greeted very warmly. Our room was exactly as hoped and contained all the ammenities we'd asked for. Thanks, Tina. During our 18 night stay, there were no nasty surprises and those great first impressions remained consistent every day throughout the hotel. Staff is well trained, cheerful and always happy to be of help. This is a very clean, well-run hotel! It's near all the places we came to the South Shore to visit--Lunenburg (world heritage sight), charming villages (Mahone Bay, etc.), many spectacular ocean beaches, myriad restaurants featuring the ocean's bounty, and the friendliest of people. On top of all that, there's a good sized, well-kept, indoor swimming pool which opens at 6 am every day. Another bonus--huge, in our opinion--is the hotel's restaurant, "Twenty Severn South". It serves the very best food in the entire Bridgewater area! Lunch or dinner there is always a treat. WHAT MORE COULD WE HAVE ASKED FOR?? Do stay there!
Great location,Great experience and Fantastic staff !! The walking trail behind the hotel was an added bonus ! We enjoyed the 80 ft. slide and salt water pool it was very relaxing. The grounds of the hotel were very appealing !!
Stopped in on the holiday Monday for supper. Nice clean restaurant, and healthy menu. Chose the beef pot roast with new potatoes roasted, and grilled asparagus. The beef was very tender and tasty. Well presented, and tasty. Even the coffee was very nice. Would definitely stop in here again. Excellent and timely service.
This hotel is very well maintained and has wonderful amenities. The staff are very professional and friendly. The cost may be a bit more than other hotels in the area but well worth the extra expense.
Overall great place. Very clean. Food was excellent. Breakfast was complementary and was always well stocked and hot. Pool was a little cold for my LO but nice for a quick dip. Elevator was a little slow considering there was only 3 floors. We took the stairs a lot when we could.
An easy accessible motel close to the Trans Canada ....the grounds are so pretty and welcoming with their immaculately groomed flower beds and hanging baskets. A hiking trail leads right behind the hotel. The staff is just so naturally friendly and helpful. Very helpful when we asked for directions. The diffused water in the lobby was a hit with us...just what we needed after spending a hot day in Lunenburg and White Point Beach. Comfortable beds....enough choice on the menu for us and a good breakfast.
Motel catches your eye upon driving in. Fantastic landscaping, sits on large lot. Pleasant exterior appeal. Inside lobby wide open bright. Staff warm and friendly. Room cozy comfortable fairly large. Excellent homemade food in on site restaurant ;although long wait to be fed. Excellent stay would definitely stay there again. Little pricey but time of year summer to be expected.
The breakfast (included) was great. Staff was very friendly. The room was fine, standard hotel room. The not so great: despite being only 8 years old, this hotel is showing its age and poor craftsmanship. Mould in small areas of the bathroom, uneven tiling on the floor and shower walls... The pool was pretty cloudy when we went in - blech. Strangely, there are no outlets to be found anywhere. Biggest pet peeve in an otherwise good hotel: because what inevitably happens? I plug in to a hidden corner of the room, and then leave my charger behind. It costs over $50 to replace both parts of an iPhone charger. When we called the hotel "no one could find it" despite I could perfectly describe exactly where to find it. It is unfortunate that such a minor thing can leave such a bad taste in my mouth considering the other interactions with staff were excellent, but clearly the cleaning staff picked up my charger and pocketed it. I know typically they keep what they find, but when we call and ask about it, it should be returned. We would have been happy to pay to have it mailed to us.
I went to the patio to have a late supper and listen to the musical entertainment. It was excellent! Had a nice drink, and their cheese burger poutine. Very good! I really enjoyed the music and found out they have it every Monday evening in summer, usually 6:00 - 9:00pm. A very nice addition to the hotel! Staff was very friendly and great service! You really can't go wrong with a Best Western! Note: I live in the area now, so no need to stay at the hotel overnight, but have in the past and found it perfect!
This hotel was very helpful and accommodating. We had booked three nights stay in a king room. However when we arrived we needed a two queen room because my wife had got pneumonia and running a fever of 40C. The staff were able to move is into a double Queen room and indicated anything we needed they would be more than will to get for us. My wife was sleeping strange hours and they were very accommodating not to bother us to clean the room. We ended up staying nine days because my wife was too weak to move. There breakfast was great every morning which was held in the restaurant and the same restaurant serves good food. They also accommodate my wife by cooking food that appealed to her. Great staff, great location, clean and some of the most accommodating staff I have ever encountered. Looking for a great place to stay on the south shore of Nova Scotia stay here.
Appreciated the early check-in. Hotel is well appointed and staff is very friendly. We have stayed a few times at this location and we always enjoy it. Any problems have always been addressed to our satisfaction. Restaurant is very good as well.
Clean rooms & comfortable beds. Well kept and inviting common areas. The restaurant was terrific, both food and service. Great parking. Close to everywhere we were going. Even a nice little area out back with a view and a place to stroll. All the staff were very friendly. Prices were right in line too. I would "recommend & return".
My family was passing through on our vacation. We were surprised to find this Best Western was very large and modern. It was definitely a Plus! We didn't visit the pool but I noticed a multi-level slide going into the pool area. Breakfast was adequate. The french toast sticks were nice but the scrambled eggs were dry and burned.
We have stayed here previously and the service has always been good, rooms are clean and comfortable. The dining room offers some great dinner choices and a wonderful, extensive hot and cold breakfast.
Trust me. This is the best around in the town. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and friendly staff. It is not the Park Hyatt but considering the location I and population of a small town, it exceeded my expectations. It is close to a Cinaplex so we went to a movie and it is conveniently located near a Walmart and grocery story either Sobeys or Atlantic Superstore. Didn't get a chance to try breakfast but did enjoy the cocktails. There is no fridge but they do have a coffee station in the room. No laundry facilities on site either.
We ran into tire issues on our car and stopped at the B/W Bridgewater Hotel at about 1:30 AM and were checked in. The following morning the front office woman called the hotel's maintenance man who brought from the shop a portable air tank and aired up the tire and suggested a good tire shop and the directions to the store. Because we had to stay a little longer beyond the normal hotel check-out time and the front desk said don't worry about that time.
my wife and i just spent the weekend in bridgewater nova scotia at the best western plus hotel and convention centre, along with our fur baby tia rose, the hotel was great the food was excellent everything was clean and fresh . the management and staff were beyond accommodating , they met you with a smile and hello and could not do enough for us to make our stay fun and relaxing .
My wife and I spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. Clean, comfortable, peaceful. The hotel's restaurant, "27 South Restaurant & Lounge" was excellent too! The staff, including Tina and the front desk agents were wonderful. Whenever we return to Bridgewater for overnight stays, this is the place where we will stay.
Staff were top notch, fun to talk to. Restaurant was very good, food was great. Breakfast choice got a little repetitive after a week, maybe some waffles would have helped. The facilities were extremely clean. Beds were excellent. I WILL be staying there on my next trip, no reservations!
Great location and easy access just off highway, very friendly and helpful staff. This hotel had the best included breakfast ever!!! Bed was super comfortable and room was very clean. Highly recommend if you are in this area.
Had three nights here and was blown away by how good the staff were. Natasha on check in was lovely and really knowledgeable about where to explore. We took her advice and went to Lunenburg and spent a whole day there ! Rest of the staff including the restaurant was great too. Food at night was really nice and the free breakfast was really good. Room was really comfortable, beds comfy and bathroom clean and modern. Was so impressed with the place I tracked down the General Manager to tell her how good her staff were. Cannot recommend this place highly enough, it's a great place to use as a base to explore.
Clean and awesome room with very comfortable beds. The service was above average with caring and friendly staff willing to help you in anyway possible. Location was excellent and near the main highway for an easy exit. Walking trails in the back of the hotel which ran all along the local river. This hotel was also close to most main attractions with about an hour drive to many of the tourist areas. I highly recommend this hotel if your in Nova Scotia south shore area to visit. Also, there is many stores and malls to shop close by to this hotel. Breakfast was above average with lots of different choice for commuters. Excellent Place to Stay !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
good, clean, comfortable stay, would stay there again. Felt that accomodations were fresh, and clean. check in friendly, and size of room was good. I would suggest that the mattress on the bed be replaced, but overall it was good.
Close to the main roads ,very clean for a high traffic spot.Had a king room, best sleep on the road for a while.Good parking close to all doors, staff very good.Great place to eat and buffett breaksfast above average.Same old prob everywhere you go,the magnetic room "keys" never seem to work twice in a row so back to the front to be reprogrammed if you leave
Had a 1 night stay for a local event. Hotel room was great. Very quiet and the bed and pillows were amazing. All staff were very friendly and professional. Overall a great stay. I would definitely stay here again.
This Best Western always has everything I need for a comfortable stay for business. Great service, comfortable rooms, good wifi and a nice fitness room. Very conveniently located, just off the highway but with restaurants and a few stores close by.
I have stayed at this hotel several nights and its a great place to stay. The staff are amazing, the rooms a spacious and clean, they do have a small fitness room which i use. The hotel is also located beside the Lahave River, which has a great walking and bilking trail, which I've also use many times. The restaurant is also very good, food is excallant.
Glen still has his game on!! My wife and I have stayed here on numerous occasions the last few years and have been greatly impressed. The rooms are immaculate, the dining is devine, and all the staff are exceptional ! Our last visit wasn't for pleasure, and the staff went beyond their means to make us comfortable. Our thanks is a raving review for all of you. Well done.
Nice place to stay when you are away from home. The pool is second to none and the rooms leave nothing to desire. The breakfast was very good and did I say free. Parking is a1 and easy to get to. Don't miss a chance to stay here.
Enjoyed a one-night getaway with kids. The pool is beautiful - salt water. A hot-tub would be a nice addition. The slide is fast and fun -- kids loved it. Would definitely recommend and return in warmer weather and take advantage of trail.
Tasteful and comfortable for hotel if you need to stay in Bridgewater. The restaurant provided tasty and somewhat original variations on typical family dining fare. The room was comfortable clean and attractively low key in its decor.
Our night at the BW Plus was great. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. The staff were very helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant, and were not disappointed with the quality of the food or the attentiveness of the staff (Kayla). Breakfast in the morning was a real treat after eating the normal "free breakfast" at many other hotels over the years. We won't hesitate to stay there again any time we are in the Bridgewater area.
Stayed here once before and had same experience. All good. Clean, friendly and great restaurant. Menu is above par. Even if I wanted to find something nit picky, not sure there is anything to find. Front desk is very social.
This is an amazing hotel with great customer service, excellent food in the restaurant, clean, new, well maintained, attentive to guests needs, reasonably priced, excellent convention centre. Plenty of parking and there is shopping across the street, Second to none. Owner/manager is hands on and great community people. There is also an excellent tribute to Glen Murrayf rom Bridgewater of his Boston Bruins days.
Large quiet rooms. Very clean. Hot buffet breakfast was good. Pool was nice. Close to many businesses. Restaurant Bar was good as well. Close to many local attractions. Very close to it all! Very close to highway, golf course and walking paths. Large executive suites are nice with desk.
My sister ,and my mum and me came here for a volleyball tournament and the staff checked us in fast and with a smile on their face. i found that the rooms were very clean and nice.i loved and is still loving staying here. you should really come here and have a great time .
Excellent staff, friendly & accommodating. Rooms are clean & comfortable. Only complaint is the rooms are not very soundproof. Could hear conversations in other rooms quite clearly through the bathroom vents.
Was here for a family members wedding. The rooms are clean, modern, and quiet. Food was good and the staff seemed friendly! Only complaints I would have are that the fridge was shut off when we got to the room and the internet kept kicking us off. All In all I would stay here again.
My son, his basketball team, coaches, other parents and I stayed at the Bridgewater Best Western on the weekend to attend a local tournament. The BW staff were very welcoming on checkin and served many of us dinner very quickly on Friday evening in the restaurant. The food and service were both excellent. Highlight Fish Tacos! Rooms very comfortable and clean. Complimentary breakfast was piping hot and they even opened 30 minutes early to accommodate the boys early morning schedule. Sometimes hotels are a little apprehensive with a crowd of energetic young men but the staff here were lovely and very kind.
we had breakfast there last it was excellent, this year I booked a table of 10 people all family members,in support of my wife,it is a excellent location, the staff is friendly, and the rooms is very clean.
Excellent stay for new years eve celebration. Rooms were very quiet. There wasn't any disturbance from noise of neighboring rooms. Beds were very comfortable so received a good nights sleep. Dance floor should be a little bigger, it was very crowed but the music was excellent.
Over all its a great place to stay, the rooms are large and updated. The pool is not heated and great if you are a Polar Bear. There is a really cool water slide that makes you forget how cold the pool is.
We lost our power on Christmas Day. We were able to get a room at the Best Western Plus. What could have been an extremely cold and miserable 3 days, turned into 3 very warm and comfortable 3 days while we waited for our power to be restored. If that were to happen again, that is the place to go to.
Very comfortable, clean, fresh smelling and quiet room. Staff was very accommodating and knowledgeable. Walking trail runs from hotel down along the LaHave River and across bridge to older part of town, very nice walk.
We stayed here during a school tournament and it was lovely! The hotel is new and clean with modern yet comfortable finishes. The staff was helpful and gave suggestions on where to pick up the items we needed for our stay and kept a close eye on the hallways to make sure the kids ( and adults!) were not making too much noise and that the doors were kept closed. We had a noise group across the hallway but it was only a minute from the time I called the front desk until someone came up and got the people to close their door and keep the noise down. The breakfast the next morning was a complete hot meal and the food was very good with tons of variety. Overall, I wonder stay and I shall use this hotel the next time I am in Bridgewater. Thank you!
Great helpful staff at the reception , the lounge and restaurant personnel are always smiling and joyful . The breakfast is nice and hot with a decent selection , great coffee . The Restaurant menu is somewhat small but the food is great .
The kids loved the pool, breakfast buffet was wonderful, staff are very friendly and attentive. Room clean and comfortable, lots of towels including pool towels. We had a very pleasant stay and highly recommend staying here, we will certainly return.
great hotel, great staff had an issue with dogs in room next to me barking , but reception found thier owner and sorted it out bit of a mix up with bill when i checked out as they over charged me but again i talked to a different staff member and she sorted it out check your bill closely before checking out
Room was very nice. The restaurant has amazing food. Best chowder I had in Nova Scotia. Great location to area stores. If you haven't stayed here or if you're in the area you need to stay at this hotel.
Had a wonderful stay at this hotel. Staff were welcoming and very helpful. Rooms were comfortable and clean with great décor. The breakfast was wonderful and the restaurant had a large variety of choices and the food was very good. I would highly recommend this hotel!
The Best Western Plus in Bridgewater definitely stands out from any other hotel I've stayed at. From the moment you walk in, you can sense the genuine hospitality of the staff. They were very welcoming and personal, and didn't seem like "robots" working behind the counter. The rooms were amazing, the up-to-date style and warm atmosphere made for a very enjoyable stay. The restaurant, pool (and waterslide), gym facilities, and hot continental breakfast we're just an added bonus that made staying here not just a place to sleep but a place to relax and get in that self care that everyone seems to be lacking nowadays! Honestly, I would go out of my way to stay here again!
We stay here every year to attend the Coldwell Banker dance. We are always pleased with our stay; this time we had a free upgrade which was very nice. Beds are comfortable, rooms clean and staff friendly.
Friendly staff, free breakfast, clean rooms, comfortable beds, high speed internet that my work laptop could actually connect to, and a really nice pool (albeit, a bit cold). Zero complaints - will stay here again in the future.
It's a beautiful brand new hotel & a great restaurant with excellent food & service, clean rooms & hot breakfast! I would recommend it to anyone and I will defently be back. We were very happy with our stay.
reaally great home away from home. Decent accomodation- nice rooms, nice restaurant with really great food, great service, great pool, good parking and location. The best part was the genuine fabulously friendly staff. We will definitely stay there again when we go back
We appreciate a bright, clean place to stay. Staff were very friendly and helpful. Great complete hot breakfast. Best Western "Plus"is our Hotel of choice. We have stayed at sites in Moncton NB, Halifax and Bridgewater during the past year.
We spent a night at this hotel in room 119. It is located on the ground floor next to the engine room and because of the noise of the machinery coming on and going off we had a very disturbed night. When we mentioned this to the receptionist on checking out she said had we complained we could have been moved to another room. She clearly failed to realise that packing up and moving to another room would have only increased the disturbance we experienced. We are extremely unlikely ever to stay at this hotel again. At all costs, avoid room 119.
I sleep at this hotel every month and i have nothing but the best service, beds are comfy as well as pillows, food is great, a little pricey, but it's pricey everywhere you go, looking fowward to my next stay!!!!!!
Came for our daughter wedding. Good rooms, food, pool are outstanding. I used laundry for 1.25 per load. beautiful lounge and entrance. staff friendly and helpfu Will definitely stay next time when visiting Bridgewater. Thank for an excellent service.
Went to visit family & new great grandson. Room was very comfortable. Had great meal at restaurant with family Friday night. Had disability room & we were both impressed with it. The shower, the bars, the lowered closet, etc.
Stayed here for a wedding on October 14th, 2017. Had an excellent time as the reception was on site. Friendly staff and immaculate room. The only thing I would change is that there was no fan in the bathroom. Other than that, everything was perfect!
Love the hockey theme... Great place worth every penny. Great staff. Great breakfast. Would rwcomend to friends. Room was an upgrade suit. Clean and comfortable. Breakfast was good. Eggs french toast sausage and all the other goods of a free breakfast
This hotel was really well located to visit nearby towns and attractions. We used this hotel for 2 nights while visiting Lunenburg and Mahone Bay, both just a short drive away. Also, some great restaurants in Bridgewater, including 27 South in the hotel, although we explored the restaurants in town. The pool and water slide were fun for this stay as well. The pool wasn't crowded and the water slide was great for both the kids and myself as I entertained the other guests by shooting out and making a huge splash. Free breakfast included in the stay was a bonus, but fairly standard. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful in recommending restaurants and nearby attractions. Also a great golf course Osprey Ridge is less than 10 minutes away.
Will definitely be staying here again. Comfy beds, clean rooms and friendly and helpful service! Great pool area although a hot tub would be an added bonus. Lounge/bar area and staff were very friendly and the food was delicious!
This was our second time at this hotel. It's a very nice hotel, in a good location. Restaurants and shopping are across the street. It's about a 5 minute drive to centre of town. Lobby, amenities, and rooms are very clean. Hot buffet breakfast is excellent. Staff are very friendly and helpful.
My husband and I stayed here for 4 nights during our stay in the Bridgewater area. Our room was very clean and the beds were HEAVENLY to sleep in.Felt so rested in the morning, did not want to get out of bed because it was so cosy and comfy ( i have joint pain issues). The staff are EXCELLENT, very friendly and helpful. The restaurant is a good place to eat if you should decide to eat at the hotel.Definately would stay there again.
Very nice BestWestern, loved my stay, good spot and great service. Restaurant is very nice also, good menu. Nice staff, very polite and caring! Room was nice and like new, very clean, nothing bad to say !
I stay at Best Western out of habit, consistent quality, good beds, decent breakfast. I booked into this one at Bridgewater expecting the same and got it. And more. I had just settled into my room and figuring out what was next when the phone rang. It was the manager checking to see if everything was ok. What a nice touch! I have never had that happen before and I felt like it mattered if everything was ok in my room. Thank you Best Western at Bridgewater!
Excellent service. Staff could not be more helpful and friendly as is the norm for Nova Scotia people. The hotel is new so the ammenities are up to date. Slide pool and awesome breakfast included. Beds were super comfortable and cleaning staff very respectful of the late hours for a wedding party.
As usual our stay at the Best Western Plus Bridgewater was excellent. The pool is great, food is great and very pleasant staff. Very Clean rooms. Comfortable and spacious. I have stayed there many times and each time is excellent.
We stayed at the Best Western Plus in Bridgewater on our vacation and were very pleased. The staff treats you like a prefered customer and make sure you are pleased .They are efficient and friendly. the rooms are excellent, new furniture.A news paper in the morning etc. like hotels used to be before the number one thing became the profit of the place. The serve a full breakfast which was excellent. We would not hesitate to recommend this hotel to anyone and will definitely stay there again if we are travelling in the area.
This is the 4th time staying at this hotel in the last year and as usual the stay was excellent. It was nice to see all the staff again and I really felt at home here. My son loves this place and loves all the staff to a point that he feels comfortable enough to walk behind the desk and hang out with them (he's 2). They go out of their way to help us out and are genuine and friendly. Again, the restaurant is top notch, some great food here. My only complaint is that I had to leave lol, but we will be back. See you all again soon.
SEriously, a dirty bathroom, dirty carpet. I asked for a ground floor as we had. A pet, they put us on second floor and said there were no. Ground floor rooms. I found out she lied, the place was empty on our arrival so I checked, there were two available. MY sixth sense told me she was lying. Our room was soiled, and we were placed so far from the elevator and convenience for walking a pet was so long for us.
The staff was friendly and organized. They made sure we felt welcome with our dog, Simon. We were given a main floor room close to the side exit. The room was clean and smelled fresh. The pool was very inviting, especially at night. The food we ordered from the restaurant was delicious. We enjoyed our stay very much.
Very pleased with confidence and manner of staff. They were very accommodating and very pleasant. Food was excellent in restaurant . Rooms were very clean and plenty of supplies and towels were on hand.
this is a very clean hotel, with very friendly and helpful staff, and it was a bonus to discover we had a room with a whirlpool beside the bed! It was awesome!!!! will definitely stay here again! The staff was informative and helped me out while I was using their laundry facility, which was the least expensive one on our trip. Breakfast was good with lots available to choose from. We stayed for two nights making it easy to travel to nearby places like Lunenburg and Mahone Bay.
The check in went flawlessly. The studio king guest room was awesome. The quality and quantity of the food in the restaurant was exceptional. Breakfast was another great experience. This is the one hotel I ask work to stay at every time I am in the area.
Got a upgrade into a suite wonderful as both my husband and I could watch or just read our books in different rooms. Swimming pool a good size lots of tables and chairs around. The breakfast was very good plenty to choose from but sad to say I never sow the pancakes or waffles. Staff very helpful in all areas.
Stayed one night after visiting Lunenburg with family. Nice new hotel. Room was nice and a decent size. Staff was friendly. Pool had a large water slide and kids loved it. Great continental breakfast but recommend going early because seating is limited.
Nice hotel, clean, well managed, friendly staff. The buffet breakfast is good and is in the restaurant. Front desk staff are very helpful...they sell stamps and will post your mail for you. The hotel is across the road from Walmart, Canadian tire and a few other places. The pool is okay but parents seem oblivious to the "no diving" signs when it comes to their kids. Also not the place for a huge (6') inflatable ring. Supper in the restaurant was a disappointment.. we returned the chicken soup that was inedible...the seafood chowder was tasty, lot of seafood but very watery.
Clean, comfortable rooms. Wonderful staff who made us feel very welcome. Located close to many stores and restaurants. We will definitely be returning to the Best Western Plus in Bridgewater for our next staycation.
Brand new hotel with exceptional facilities. All you can ask about service quality and hospitality. No doubt that this hotel is located very conveniently close to most attractions like Lunenburg, Peggy's Cove and so many others.
Overall experience at they Best Western chain has been consistently positive and of good value. Some of the highlights were the inclusion of a good hot breakfast, convenient locations, amenities and high quality sleep surfaces and generally spacious rooms.
Great hotel! The kids really enjoyed the swimming pool, as it was very large. Staff very friendly and helpful. Rooms were large and clean. The breakfast items were very good and plentiful. I would definitely recommend this hotel.
We stayed 2 nights for our 6th wedding anniversary. Breakfast was hands down the best hotel breakfast I've had. Staff were friendly & approachable. Location was central (easily able to visit other popular towns in that area). Bed was comfortable and room was clean and modern!
Great new and very clean hotel with friendly and helpful staff. Nice pool, and fitness center. Lots of free parking. Close to highway and minutes from downtown area. Complementary hot breakfast was excellent.
Enjoyed our 2 night stay at this newer location. Pool looked like a lot of fun for kids; but did not have time to try. Requested and got our request for top floor quiet room facing the back green space. Very quiet. Comfortable beds.
Its situation outside town near a commercial center does not give this hotel any scenic appeal. However, its cleanliness and large rooms with comfy beds amply make up for this. Breakfast is buffet-style and somewhat above average. The rooms are well equipped with a real desk, drawers, a chair, an armchair, TV etc. There's also gear to make coffee. The noise isolation for noise coming from neighbouring rooms or from the hallway is bad. We could literally follow every word of the conversation next door. This is not ideal for light sleepers ....
So far the Best Western chain does not disappoint. We reserve a ourselves a Standard King which I'm pretty sure got upgraded to a suite upon arrival since it had a kitchenette, pullout couch, pocket doors separating the bedroom from the living room and a HUGE bathroom (pretty sure room 318 is the biggest room on the 3rd floor since we checked the floor plan). Otherwise, I'm very impressed with the standard category at this hotel. The bed could be a bit more pillow-toppy (as I think it use to be but is seeing some wear with butt groves and dips) but that's just a personal preference, here. The front desk agents' service was great, the breakfast was more then adequate with a built-it-yourself yogurt bar, hash browns, pancakes (this might alter to waffles some mornings?), eggs, ham (also may be bacon or sausages on other mornings?) a slow cooker of beans, bagels, bread for toasts, muffins, some baked sweet loaf, fruits, tea and coffee and juices. Everything was to temperature and the refills were timely! A job well done one the kitchen staff. I admit, I do love the breakfast part or the best westerns. All in all we have no real complaint since we were already pretty happy with the upgrade. We will most definitely return if we do Riverfest again next year.
We have stayed at the Bridgewater Best Western several times in the past and have enjoyed every stay. It's friendly staff and clean atmosphere made our stay very comfortable. The restaurant is by far one of the best in the area with a wide selection to fit anyones taste. We have never been disappointed with the food or service. We were treated so well by everyone we almost hated to go back home.
Beautiful hotel with outstanding service. The front desk staff are always friendly and welcoming. As a woman traveling alone service, comfort and security are important. I always enjoy my stay in Bridgewater.
This hotel was a pleasure to stay at. It's well maintained, clean, spacious and comfortable. The room was tidy and clean, the shower was great. The view from our room was pretty, overlooked the outdoor cafe/garden. The bed was definitely sleep inducing and the sheets were so soft! The amenities were a wonderful compliment to our stay. Hot buffet breakfast in the morning was satisfying.
We stayed here Aug. 11 and 12/17 and were very pleased. Our King suite was very spacious and clean. The bed was really comfortable. The staff here from reception, to restaurant and housecleaning were all friendly and knowledgeable. The complimentary hot breakfast was much better than I expected with cereals and hot options available with great selection. I was very impressed by our overall experience and would not hesitate to stay again. The pool looked lovely with an adults only time from 10-11 PM. The restaurant served excellent food with large portions, a little expensive but still great. They have a lounge to sit back and have a drink.
Hi Again: My wife and I had the opportunity to stay in this hotel for one night on our way back to Halifax, NS to catch our flight home. The room we stayed in was awesome, and the beds were soo comfortable. This hotel offered a free buffet HOT breakfast and didn't disappoint. There were lots of nice coffees, and different Hot egg dishes with sausages, muffins, various breads, bagels, etc. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, and courteous. The rooms were very clean, spacious, and had a nice size TV which was great. We would definitely highly recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to stay in the Bridgewater area and definitely will be back. Thank You
Called in here for lunch. As I'm on holiday from England, I was taken to try Poucine. Food was good, staff very friendly. This was one of my first meals here in Canada . And quite happy to go there again
I enjoyed my stay at the hotel very much. Staff was very helpful and the property had a great saltwater pool and fitness room. It was a good place to stay and use as base to explode areas around Nova Scotia.
Overall the hotel accomodations, ammeneties, staff & food was great. I would totally recommend it & will definitely stay at the Best Western again. The room was very clean & beds were very comfortable as well.
Staff was beyond great!!! Free breakfast was good, other then the bruised bananas, rooms were clean, pool was clean, fairly new hotel, and about a 10 minute drive from downtown bridgewater, but only a 5 minute walk from walmart, canadian tire and a boston pizza. The only complaint, and this is the only complaint, is the free internet sucks....kept kicking us off every 5 minutes, otherwise, we were spoiled with this location.
This pet friendly, property was exceptionally well cared for. We thought it was new and very surprised when staff told us it was eight years old. It was obvious everyone took great pride in the facility and their work. Each staff member we encountered was warm, friendly and helpful, when needed. Our room and bedding were very comfortable. They offered an excellent breakfast with many choices provided in a true restaurant setting. Hands down the best breakfast experience out of 25 hotels we stayed at during our extended road trip. We look forward to staying here on our next visit to the area.
Clean room, comfortable beds/pillows, shower curtain fresh; sheets crisp and clean, but should have duvet covers, not just flat sheets on duvet. Beautiful pool - kids spent hours going on water slide. Gym area great and overlooks pool through glass windows (convenient for watching my teens/pre-teens in pool). Free breakfast excellent selection in nice restaurant area. Staff very friendly and helpful. Quick check in and check out. Would certainly stay again.
I thought this place was new, not 8 years old! It was very well-kept and clean. The staff were very polite and courteous and helpful. I would recommend staying here and not hesitate doing so again. Great place.
We have been visiting Bridgewater, NS for the past 6 years each summer for Camp Visiting Day. This was our first time staying at the Best Western Plus. All the Staff, from the Front Desk to the Breakfast Staff were nothing but fantastic! The Indoor Pool (with a kids slide) was great, especially the KIDS FREE HOUR which I thoroughly enjoyed! More Hotel Pools should offer this! The Pool Towels were a little small. Over-all our best stay in Bridgewater these past years...we look forward to returning next year!
We stayed one night on our way home from the Digby area. Our king suite was clean & a great size. The bed was comfortable & our girls enjoyed the pool. Breakfast was really nice.. lots of selection.. I really enjoyed the "make your own yogourt parfait" bar. My only complaint was the wifi... very poor & constantly kicking off. All in all, we enjoyed our stay & would absolutely return. Thanks also to the friendly staff at check in.
I would have no problem staying there again, I find all the Best Western to be very clean and have enjoyed my stay each time. The continental breakfast had sufficant food choices to pick from each morning. The coffee was always hot and fresh
We arrived exhausted from 6 days road tripping with two young boys and the amazingly warm receptionist gave us a complimentary upgrade to a suit so we could all have some of our own space for the night. It was such a kind gesture. The room was lovely and clean as was the entire facility. We had a great stay. The free breakfast buffet was above average with a lot of great hot options. Was a great stop after a day exploring the south shore.
This hotel must be one of the best in Nova Scotia. Everything about it was beautifully maintained. The front desk personnel were very pleasant and helpful. The room was a good size and the beds were extremely comfortable. I wish the duvet was not on the bed. It was too warm for the summer months. The breakfast was the best continental one we had on our 11 day trip.
I was greeted by an extremely friendly and helpful front desk person who called me when I checked into my room to make sure everything was okay. The rooms are typical of a Best Western and are super clean. The service of staff in dining room and desk was consistently fabulous. The buffet breakfast that is part of your room was served with hot and cold options. Very good selection and quite good. In the foyer every day fresh flavoured water and coffee was offered. What was neat was everyday the water flavour changed. Nice touch. The overall cleanliness of the hotel was great. Their biggest asset though is their staff. All very helpful and welcoming.
My wife and I just spent a week on the southern shore of Nova Scotia, during which we stayed at the Best Western in Bridgewater. As we were arriving, my wife asked " What's the difference between a regular Best Western and Best Western Plus ? " After spending 5 days there , the answer is simple : Plus stands for Tina and her wonderful staff !! I'm not talking about isolated instances of staff members going the extra mile - everyone went out of their way to ensure that our stay was pleasurable and all our needs fulfilled. A little late for breakfast ? No problem - everything's still hot and we'll get you a little something. On another occasion, we had picked up take out food at one of the local restaurants but had no plates or cutlery. Not only were they happy to provide plates etc but brought them directly to our room ! During our stay , we bumped into Tina quite a few times as she oversaw various areas of the hotel. Every encounter with Tina put on full display why the staff were as attentive and genuine in all our dealings during our stay - because that's exactly how Tina is, and she leads by example. Thanks to Tina and her team in Bridgewater - beautiful facility, well equipped, spotless - but the service topped everything. See you again next year !! PS - Rita loves the souvenir you gave her.
Excellent hotel with a great staff who were helpful in every aspect. Thank you!!! You will enjoy your stay at the Best Western Plus. There is a swimming pool and many places nearby to visit. The location is great with a trail behind the hotel and a beautiful garden gazebo to enjoy evenings on.
Friendly staff and exceptional customer service. Very clean hotel and an amazing breakfast selection - one of the best breakfasts we've had at a Best Western. A great hotel that we will highly recommend !!
We spent 2 days at this hotel while visiting family in the Bridgewater area. The property was clean and well-maintained. Staff were friendly and helpful. Buffet breakfast was plentiful and tasty. I particularly appreciated the walking trail at the back of the property, leading to an established river trail, a great way to start the day! A special shout-out to staff member Janet who located my favourite t-shirt among the lost items, left behind in the room when I packed quickly, and sent it to me via expedited mail. Much appreciated.
Great place to stay when travelling the south shore of Nova Scotia, fairly new hotel, room is clean and beds are comfy, especially after several stays in the B&B. Breakfast items are good and could be better when compare to other Best Western Plus.
We spent two nights at this hotel. Location was great and easy to find. Even though it is off the main road it was very quite. Staff was very friendly, room was clean and specious. Beds were comfortable. Good restaurant off the Lobby, we ate dinner there twice.
Great comfortable rooms, Friendly staff and great food. Chriss and Jodie made it a home from home and gave us a laugh to look forward to after a hard days work. Thank you girls for your naturaly friendly nature you should both get a raise in pay !
Staff were very warm and friendly, and the rooms were very clean with comfortable beds. We ate in the restaurant and the food was delicious. Also, if you like Swiss Chalet or fast food places, they are near by. The grandchildren loved the pool/slide and they had wonderful time. Thank you for a great weekend !!!
My daughter and family stayed at this hotel as we were going on an Oak Island tour near by. Breakfast was great, kids enjoyed the poor and the beds were very comfortable. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and recommend it to anyone else who might be vacationing in the area.
Great place to stay and a great deal. Breakfast was awesome and the rooms were clean.Had great internet service. Staff was friendly and all around just a great place to stay for the price. Will stay there again in the future.
Pleasant staff, clean rooms, comfortable beds and a great restaurant! Over the past few years we have tried a number of items from the dinner menu and have never been disappointed. They offer a great hot breakfast buffet, free with your room. The only negative thing on this visit was that the shower drain was very slow and by the time you finished your shower, you were standing in an inch of water. I mentioned it when I checked out and the girl at front desk said that she would have it looked at.
We really enjoyed all aspects of our stay at this Best Western from check-in to departure. We will definitely stay again at this location. The pleasant staff at the front desk and in the restaurant/bar were very helpful and also very knowledgeable about the area attractions.
Located just outside Bridgewater, NS, adjacent to Hwy 103 ( but very quiet), this hotel is located in one of the prime beauty spots of Nova Scotia. Limitless day trip adventures possible using this location. We were pleasantly surprised by the very good food at the on site restaurant, and breakfast had plenty of choice for every taste. Staff were very friendly and helpful, but then this is Nova Scotia.
Stayed for business in early June. Nice hotel, comfortable rooms, friendly staff. Not a big fan of the breakfast - went down twice and both times the meat was overcooked ham - almost as though it was leftovers. The restaurant, however, is great. Had dinner there one evening and the food was outstanding. Great service as well.
I was very pleased with our stay at the Best Western Plus Bridgewater, Nova Scotia. I would definitely recommend this hotel to anyone. Super friendly service, great value, delicious breakfast, very clean rooms and comfortable beds, conveniently located close to the mall, restaurants and 10 minutes or so from ball fields.
This hotel is fairly new. Rooms and décor are very nice. Nice pool, fitness center, and hot buffet breakfast. Friendly, helpful staff. Good location; close to restaurants and shopping. Fairly close to Lunenburg, Mahone Bay or Chester, or to Rissers Beach.
This hotel which we stayed at for business was excellent. When we got up in the morning they were preparing faciliies for the provencial election which did nothing to disturb us.I would recommend this hotel to anyone needing a hotel in this area as the staff where wonderful and everything was first class.
From check-in to check-out, this was a top quality hotel. Bridgewater is off the path of major tourist attractions, but it is close enough to enjoy those attractions minus their crowds. We slept comfortably and drove to the attractions within half hour.
Lovely hotel, very nice staff. EXCELLENT breakfast buffet with nice little omelets and REAL ham. The other surprise was EXCELLENT coffee and very large mugs! Sweet way to start the day! If staying overnight in Bridgewater again, I'd definitely return to this hotel.
We had a great experience at this Hotel. My Daughter loved the pool, and the breakfast. The beds and pillows we super comfy. The hotel was very clean, and the staff was great! We would definitely stay here again.
We arrived this May, early evening- at arrival we were greeted as if we were family. This hotel is spotless, beautifully decorated, amazing staff and food. The rooms were excellent and the beds were so comfortable. We will certainly use this hotel again.
The Best Western Plus in Bridgewater,NS is the best place to stay when visiting the south shore of Nova Scotia this summer on a vacation or a business trip . The owners the staff the waitress staff in the fabulous restaurant are one in a million. They will make your stay and your meals the best experience around the south shore.
We stayed 20 and 21 May/17 for the Legion convention. Rooms are nicely furnished and beds are comfortable. A small thing, but wish real glasses/coffee mugs could be provided, really dislike the plastic/styrofoam provided. Small but nice dinning room with very friendly/efficient staff. Food is very good at a reasonable price, (breakfast is included). Nice pool with waterslide. There is a beautiful hiking trail at the back which decends to the LaHave river, but be careful, the tics are out!
We had a relaxing 8 day stay while visiting family. Room was clean, quiet except for a Saturday night when four neighbouring rooms were a bit loud. Excellent breakfast buffet. Pool was a little cool. Staff were very friendly.
Best spot in Bridgewater. Close to other restaurants and stores. Walmart is across the road, yet it's in a rural setting so not too noisy. Staff very friendly and prompt service. Food great and the free breakfast was nice! Would return!
Friendly staff, clean hotel, comfortable rooms. Only issue is a hundred dollar charge to your credit card which is refunded after departure. No issue with the charge, but was not told about it when reservation was booked or upon check in,and it did not show on my receipt. I found out through online banking.
We weren't planning a night in a hotel, and now we are really glad we stayed. The room was very clean and comfortable, and the service was outstanding! A very pleasant stay. We felt pampered. Our stay could not be improved in any way.
Front desk staff were wonderful and welcoming during our stop over stay. The beds were excellent and had a great sleep. The location was just off the highway making access desirable and easy to access.
This hotel is newly built, cleanly kept, and walking distance to some amenities and only 2 minutes from town center. -- Nice place for resting after a days travel. Rooms are spacious and beds are comfortable. This hotel is close to TransCanada highway but distant from noise. Great selection of items for their 'included' breakfast..
I just stayed at this hotel for the 3rd time, this time my son and I were there for 7 nights. I can not put in to words how great my experience has been on every one of my stays. All the ladies at the front desk, restaurant, housekeeping, etc are second to none. All of the staff was so accomodating and really made this stay a memorable one. I know my son definitely enjoyed interacting with all the staff, and it was hard to leave. I consider this a home away from home when I am in Nova Scotia. I look forward to the next time we are there. The restaurant has the best food I have ever had. The Bacon Jam burger was indescribable, just so good. PS - Thank you for the valet parking of my son's tricycle ;)
This hotel was so clean, comfortable and the staff were extremely friendly and helpful. The breakfast staff were so accommodating to me, due to the fact that i could only eat certain foods. Also the front desk staff were to accommodating to my needs, with helping me find certain organizations.
Down on business , i loved the hotel. I had super and breakfeast and it was realy good. The best complementery breakfest i ever had in any hotels. Real frendly staff . Nice big tv at the fitness center.
The front desk staff were friendly and helpful at check-in and check-out as well as providing directions to restaurants. In retrospect, we probably should have eaten in the onsite dining room and had the special because the wait for a table was very long at Swiss Chalet. The breakfast room attendant was very pleasant and did a great job replenishing food and keeping the tables wiped off. The breakfast food was excellent and well presented. The housekeeping staff were friendly when we met them in the halls. Generally a very welcoming place to stay. Our only complaint was the noise created by a hockey team (aged 10 to 12 approx.) that seemed to be staying on the third floor above us but used our corridor to run through. When we were checking in, we overheard the front desk staff discuss noise levels after 10 pm with the coaching staff who said that would not be a problem as the team had a 9:30 curfew. Wish that were true because it was quite noisy until 11 pm and we were about to report this to the front desk if it had carried on much longer. We were assured by the front desk at check-in that our room was located away from the team.
Basic, clean hotel. Need better lighting in rooms. What we didn't like was the smokers congregating at entrance. Having to enter hotel through a cloud of smoke very unpleasant. Also the noise level of theses same smokers very loud in room (and we were on third floor). Complained once past midnight with no action taken. So probably not a problem during weekdays but avoid weekends, especially if a function is going on. Complimentary breakfast adequate at best.
A new hotel with clean comfortable rooms and ample parking. The staff are friendly and helpful. The restaurant is good, however breakfast needs work. The biggest downside was coming back to the hotel late in the evening and having to wade through a haze of cigarette smoke from all of the smokers standing in front of the front doors smoking.
The spouse and I stay here every November for our anniversary, lovely room, exceptional staff and we keep coming back because of it. Best hotel I've stayed in on the south shore. Everything was crisp, clean, the pool area was fantastic.
we stayed here for my sons wedding ,and other wedding guests stayed as well,,beautiful clean large rooms ,very comfortable beds and friendly staff and beautiful buffet breakfast . Every one of our group enjoyed our stay so much ,it sure was the best choice of a hotel to stay ,wish we could do it all over again .Our memories are gold from your hotel... gold stars to you !!!
Staff throughout were personable and professional. As most folks attest, the rooms are large and comfortable. Beds and linens provided good sleep quality. One oddity is we heard conversations from an adjacent room. Not sure if it was the bathroom ventilation system or the high ceilings. This ended up not being much of a problem as we were tired enough to sleep through. The most impressive encounter came after my stay. During check-in, I provided a BW Travel Card earned through previous BW stays. The Front Desk person acknowledged it and we conversed a bit about it's value. With Express Check-Out, I failed to examine the bill. My fault. I realized after viewing credit card transactions days later the Travel Card had not been applied, but value was now $0. I mentioned this in a survey BW sent. To my surprise, the Bridgewater GM (Joanne) contacted me proactively, investigated and took care of it. Given that I should have caught the error before leaving, I'm just so amazed at this fine level of service. Even without this incident, you can be confident this BW is an excellent choice for this part of Nova Scotia. I'd definitely stay again.
Outstanding friendly staff and so helpful. Beautiful Rooms, clean and fresh. Good location within walking distance of major shopping. Beautiful trail on the property. Would love to come back someday. Did I say pool and slide...
This hotel is very good. Customer service is great and the facilities are pretty nice. Pool is a pretty good size and there is a big water slide that the kids really enjoy. Wish it had a hot tub but I guess you can't have everything.
One of the better hotels in this part of NS with complete amenities required for long term stay traveller like me. The hotel staff is simply amazing! Their restaurant has some real nice dishes up their sleeves especially the desserts. Would want to comeback and relive the memories again
I stay here periodically for business. It's a little out of the way for where I need to be, but the rooms are consistent, facilities are ok to good, and a hot breakfast is included. There are also some chain restaurants not far away, and Bridgewater is a quick drive away, if you're looking for something to do in the evening. Conveniently located just off the highway.
The best of the Best Western that I ever stayed. The service, value, sleep Quality, Cleanliness, rooms and location are excellent. We enjoyed very much if anybody go to eastern Canada should stay in this hotel.
The room was quiet, the bed very comfortable and the dinner in the restaurant was above average. Reception staff were helpful. I had a US dollar gift card and they applied it to my room even though I had mistakenly paid in advance on line.
We were two couples and three kids (9,12,16). Both of our rooms were clean and modern. The beds were very comfortable! This is a hotel that pays attention to small details that add a special and memorable the to your stay: the bathroom products, the blue and white pool towels, the full breakfast buffet in the morning with plenty of variety including vegan options. We all enjoyed our stay in this hotel. The pool and water slide was a huge hit with the kids and the fact that it closed later (10pm) was a bonus. We got to visit Lunenburg which was a 20 minute drive from the hotel and Grand Pré which was 1.5 hours from the hotel. Great family stay!!
We were travelling from Halifax across to the Bay of Fundy and stayed here for a night. The hotel was clean and the staff were great! The restaurant in this hotel has great food and the put on the complementary breakfast and it was really top notch. The sound proofing was not great but all else was great! The drive from there to Middleton is very pretty and the roads are great!
The hotel is reasonable new and very clean. We had a double queen which was spacious enough for 2 of us and clean. The morning breakfast is good - your standard continental breakfast. It was centrally located for trips to Chester, Luenburg etc.
Always clean, beautiful rooms, friendly staff. No issues with noise. Good breakfast selection. My third stay at this hotel and never any issues. I highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Bridgewater area.
Very good hotel, much better than the old, run of the mill, Best Western Motels. They have done a good job of upgrading their service. I will seriously consider using Best Western Plus, in the future.
Ok we've been on vacation. Stayed at several hotels before this one. But the beds here are wonderful. Clean room. Clean bath and floors. Friendly staff. This is definitely a hotel to stay at if you are in the area.
This is a wonderful hotel. It had the most comfy bed. The room was very clean. Very quiet, we got lots of rest! The staff is warm and friendly. The breakfast was the best, such a wide selection of hot and cold items. We ate outside on the patio on a sunny saturday morning. The hotel is easy to fine and within close driving distance to restaurants, banks, etc. Would not hesitate to recommend this place to other travellers! You will be very happy with this choice.
We had a terrific couple of nights at this hotel. We were given a free upgrade to a king size suite and the bed was very comfortable. The free breakfast was great. They had something for everyone including fresh fruit and yogurt to scrambled eggs and ham. Very clean breakfast area and food was replenished throughout the morning. I was very impressed with the attention to detail as most places that have breakfast included usually offer a continental breakfast. Kudos to the friendly staff at Best western in Bridgewater!
Clean affordable hotel -- great beds friendly staff -- Breakfast included is a bonus -- Have used for sports groups Excellent location close to all amenities and just off highway. Restaurant on site . Pool and Fitness centre great for Families
This hotel is located on the beautiful south shore of Nova Scotia. The room was clean and spacious, the bed was very comfortable, the staff was helpful, courteous, and so nice! I enjoyed the in-room Wi-Fi and the free breakfast.
What a jewel of a place in Bridgewater NS. Home away from home! Great staff, fantastic breakfast, fresh eggs with honey baked ham on a bagel, fresh fruit, yogurt, excellent coffee, large comfortable clean room, and a lovely restaurant and bar! A huge thank you to the team that makes this place what it is! I'm a traveller and stay in a wide variety of accommodations, yours is a keeper! Thank you! Keep up the great work!
We were able to get a nice room here for $79.00 + tax which included a really great breakfast. But what I found to be the highlight was the staff. A young woman from the Phillipines was at the front desk. She'd only been working for less than a week. Her name was Jane and she was so helpful, friendly and a real asset to the hotel.
The beds are comfortable. You are given several choices of pillows, and rooms are clean. The restaurant meals that we ordered at supper time were delicious. The pool area is spacious and lots of room to lounge around.
Stayed @ the Best Western in Bridgewater for 2 nights for a Ball Tournament in Liverpool. We found it to be a great value for the price we paid, would certainly stay here again if in the area. Front Desk were able to accommodate a request we had on changing to the same room for both nights (originally had to book different rooms) Everything about the hotel, rooms & common areas seemed clean & well looked after, Breakfast Buffet was a treat & hit the spot! The Kids enjoyed the pool & waterside, can't think of anything I would have changed about our stay.
The staff was courteous and helpful. The hotel is very clean, the lawn is beautifully manicured. The room was very spacious...I had a corner suite. The restaurant's food is very good, staff very courteous. Full hot breakfast included in room price - buffet style. I would definitely return for leisure, the region is beautiful.
I would highly recommend this hotel! Great price for the quality of the hotel! Very spacious, clean rooms with all the extras and great staff who are very eager to help! Too bad it's so close to where we live - we'd be staying more often!!
Best option in Bridgewater, although location is not central and you need a car to get anywhere. Clean and very friendly, decent restaurant with a well stocked complimentary hot breakfast. Loved the access to a coin operated washer and dryer. Fun pool for kids.
My room was very clean, like that they give you a new remote with a case so you feel clean using it. However, my shower curtain was quite ripped and looked very unappealing. In addition, the breakfast layout was terrible. They definitely need more space to ensure people aren't tripping over one another. Overall the hotel staff was very friendly and professional and it was a clean place to stay.
Stayed at the Bridgewater BW for one night on short notice. We were travelling in the area at a busy time, and on short notice a "business class" room with a king bed was available. Check in & out were efficient and painless. We received a CAA rate which was not cheap, but the room was worth every penny. Room was immaculate and well appointed. Beds, linens, towels and such are good quality and very comfy. The room rate included an excellent buffet style breakfast with plentiful and satisfying choices. The pool area was busy being enjoyed by many families with children, and there is an hour of adult time before then pool closes. We had dinner at the on site restaurant as well and the food and service were great and of good value. The location is close to some shopping and other restaurant options. I would most certainly recommend this place to others travelling in the area.
Stayed here over night on our way to Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, very clean and friendly hotel. Loved the large pool had a water slide for children looked like fun. The room was very large and the beds very comfortable. Would recommend this hotel.
I stayed here with my family for 2 nights this August and it was great. The room was clean and smelled good, not stuffy. The beds were comfy too. The pool is big and the waterside is fun! There was a wedding going on that weekend and you wouldn't of known. Was not loud at all. Was a great stay and next time I'm out there i will definitely stay here.
Very satisfied with this hotel and all that it had to offer.Very clean and great beds. No complaints about this hotel at all. I would recommend this to anyone going to Bridgewater..Very close to many attractions and shopping centers..Walking distance to a Tim Hortons..Nice quiet area and a great nights sleep..
The hotel is beautiful right from the entrance into the dining room. Staff were very atentive and made our meal that much more enjoyable with thier knowledge of wines. The food is awesome in taste, presentation and temp and the atmosphere is great for intimate dinners as well as lunches with the gang. Well be going back :)
Travelling near Mahone Bay or Lunenburg? Stay in Bridgewater. Hotel staff were excellent, wonderful clean and upscale rooms, pool facility and great onsite restaurant - above average fresh breakfast choices - made onsite. Great place to stay when touring the South Shore of Nova Scotia!
this hotel is a must stay for families, staff is great, breakfast is awesome, the pool and slide are great as well-reasonable price the hotel rooms are clean, only thing the rooms need are an in- room safe or safety deposit box-----.
Excellent hotel. Staff very friendly, rooms clean and comfortable. Breakfast fantastic! Prices are reasonable too. Only "complaints": pool is a little cold, and it is tough to find this place at night. They are NORTH of Highway 103!
This hotel was fabulous. We both loved it. Great friendly staff, good hot breakfast, guest laundry facility, very comfy bed and nice big bathroom. It was such a nice room we wished we had stayed more than 2 nights. Its very easy to get in and out of. We did several day trips from the hotel.
We really enjoy staying here. Haven't had a bad experience yet. The staff is nice and breakfast is amazing. The pool and hot tub are good too. I would definitely recommend this to a friend. We stayed in the jacuzzi room and it was awesome! Would definitely book that room again.
Staff and amenities were excellent. Location is great and close to walking trails and restaurants. Pool and water slide were the main reason we chose this hotel. Our grandchildren absolutely loved it.Only negative was the options and quality of the food at the buffet breakfast.
Friendly staff, nice rooms, a great pool, and a buffet breakfast. This is all good. The location? Not so good. Across from a Walmart and nothing else. It doesn't really matter because the town of Bridgewater is pathetic. Good news? Twenty minute drive to Lunenberg.
Chose to stay here after a leisurely drive on the coast road. The hotel is very easy to locate from the highway. We were greeted by friendly, helpful staff and our room was very nice and clean also. We did use the pool. Complimentary breakfast was awesome, with a good selection to tempt you. Again friendly staff to help you in any way.
I was there for three nights in early July including Canada Day. Pros Overall a good hotel in a nice area with easy access from the highway. Room was clean, modern, minibar, tv etc...but did not have a microwave. Bathroom large with tube/shower all the usual amenities. Does have a nice restaurant that is open throughout the day. The swimming pool is good one at least to relax in. Staff very friendly and helpful. Cons Breakfast buffet was medium quality, had fresh juices but the cooked food was just bland (eggs, sausages, etc). Internet and cable both broke down the 3rd day, no scheduled repairs until after I left.
The staff at this Hotel are magic, so helpful and obliging. It is a relatively new Hotel, the room, food was of a good quality and very reasonable. Huge car park, easy access into Bridgewater and would recommend to travellers .
Room for 4 adults very clean comfortable beds and pillows We decided to eat in the hotel restaurant and we were very happy with the meals .Wings were great ,good size and very tasty .Men had Pork Shanks and were very pleased with the meal.Good pool
We stayed here for two nights during a trip to Nova Scotia. They supplied soya milk as requested...always a bonus! The beds were comfortable and the meals in the restaurant were good. Plenty of choice at breakfast with proper cutlery and crockery.
This hotel has the most amazing staff - so incredibly kind and helpful. I wish all hotels could see how this amazing team works. All our questions were answered knowledgeably and promptly by the front desk. They kitchen staff also packed breakfast for us as we had to leave early to catch a ferry. Would recommend without hesitation.
Stayed here in late June 2016 for one night. The lobby was lovely and bright, the staff were very friendly and the room was very nice. It seemed like a brand new hotel although it has been open for a few years. Very clean and fresh looking.
We stayed 6 nights in this hotel. Very friendly staff. Room was very clean. An excellent hot breakfast in a very nice dining area. The hotel is very convenient being close to Hwy 103, a Walmart, Canadian Tire and Staples and Swiss Chalet and Boston Pizza restaurants. A couple of events took place while we were there (Prom night, wedding) and we were concerned about late night noise but there was no problem at all. I think the hotel makes sure all is quiet at a reasonable hour. At the back of the hotel is a switch back path which winds down to a hiking trail beside the LaHave River. We really loved this. The glass railed rear hotel deck looks over the path and can be a wonderful quiet spot to sit in the evening.
Lovely room and staff. The restaurant food was very good. My wife and I enjoyed our two night stay there while going to my aunt's 75th birthday celebration near Newburne. Had a great supper meal and the breakfast was nice also.
The hotel was a base for us to stay on our vacation. The room was very clean and very quite. Breakfast was good and the in-house restaurant is a must try. The town of Bridgewater doesn't have much for tourists but we did enjoy sitting by the river and watching the ducks .
All was excellent!! Never have issues with Best Western. This hotel was in a great location. There were lots of the things to do and see in the local area. Would recommend this and all Best western hotels to the traveling public.
Convenient location just off the highway. Meeting room was good although a bit crowded. Service was excellent. Breakfast buffet was included, typical scrambled egg potato etc. Just average. Boiled eggs would be nice?? Our group had supper in the restaurant and the food was excellent!
Stayed for 2 nights. Not much in Bridgewater but nice drive to Lunenburg and Mahone Bay where there were good restaurants and interesting shopping. Historically preserved houses and B & Bs really attractive. Probably would stay in a B and B for a holiday visit but Best Western was fine.
The hotel is well looked after, with highly competent and helpful staff. Rooms are large enough and well equipped for a couple. Free WiFi and breakfast was also included in price which increased proportion of quality versus price. We will go again to this area for its breath-taking beauty and this will be where we shall stay. There was absolutely nothing to complain about. Highly recommended to our friends.
This property is the BEST hotel in the area. The accommodations are new, beautiful and clean. The staff was so friendly, welcoming and helpful. I would definitely stay here again if in this area. I typically do not consider Best Western hotels, but if all were like this one, I would stay there!
we were looking for quick getaway that was not to far away from home, a two hour drive. we checked in after 5 pm and the staff was very polite and helpful. the room was very clean. I booked a room with a jacuzzi tub which was awesome after a long day. took a swim in the pool and sat in the hot tub for a bit. pool does come equipped with a large slide that would be great for kids.the pool also has adult only hours if you are looking for a peaceful late night swim. We took adavantage of the bar and restaurant both nights. Breakfast in the morning was not to die for but it was decent. was a little disappointed that bacon was not served. over all its a great place to stay and located close to all your shopping needs and within travelling distance if you are looking to do coastal community sight seeing.
This past week the Halifax Boys' Honour Choir had the privilege of staying at the Best Western Plus in Bridgewater while on tour in Nova Scotia's South Shore. Our stay was nothing short of exceptional! Our rooms were spotless and spacious, Breakfast was spectacular with a great selection of food and the kitchen employees worked tirelessly to ensure there was no shortage of food for a large group. The boys absolutely loved the pool with the big slide. I can not say enough about the wonderful hospitality shown from the hotel employees from the moment we arrived. I would be re-missed if I didn't share a special THANK YOU to Tina Grace who ensured every detail of our stay was wonderful, (the boys truly enjoyed the little chocolates placed on their pillows upon our arrival :-) ), and secondly Kathleen at the front desk who always had a nice smile on her face and was always happy to accommodate with any situation at any time. There are hotels and then there is the Best Western Plus in Bridgewater. Hats of to the wonderful employees! Performing for the Atlantic Region Mayors who were also on-site was a special treat the boys won't forget anytime soon. Kind regards, Earl Leslie Representative Halifax Boys' Honour Choir
Highly recommended hotel at an affordable price. The rooms are nice, quiet, spacious and new. Great service and a great breakfast included in the rate. Close to the highway and other Amenities like gas stations , Restos coffee shops. Would definitely recommend to a friend.
This is a complete great hotel. It is not in a major city but near (Not road noise close) the South Shore main highway. Best Hotel in the Bridgewater area. Nice building, grounds with trails behind building, sleeping rooms, breakfast, and restaurant.
we used this hotel as a home base for the night while touring the area. Easy to get to and clean. Stayed in a business queen room and it was a good size. odd things about the room was that the bed was shoved close to the air conditioner in a big room also when you turn off the hall light it turns off rhe bedside lights completly. i would stay here again but would request a room on the backside of the hotel as the road is a little noisy
It is a very nice hotel, friendly staff, great food and all the modern amenities as well as close to a shopping area (walking distance). The meals at the restaurant on site caters to everyone regardless of food restrictions, etc. Very relaxing atmosphere and great for business, couples, and family.
we were booked as a team and rates were significantly reduced after the group booking dates closed, and some were able to secure rates $50 per night cheaper. Because the rooms were all booked, there was no way to even find alternate rates.
Decided to bring my granddaughter to stay here as a treat for march break. They have a pool and water slide, the reason we choose this hotel. Terribly disappointed that the pool water was so cold. The hot tub jets seemed to not work properly. The waterside was good, although the water has a timer. If the time is up, the water just stops flowing and you have to go to the opposite side of the slide to press the button. Hotel is clean, typical room, close to Walmart, Swiss Chalet, Boston Pizza and Tims. Would not not stay here again, we came for pool/water slide but too cold.
Each and every staff member was friendly and helpful. They engaged me in conversation and offered suggestions where able. The food was exceptional and the room as so very clean. I witnessed the restaurant staff assisting a frail elderly gentleman to and from the washroom in a respectful manner.
The fact that I had on a DND sign, duty manager, Kyla [--], entered our room without consent.. They stated that it was procedure if they smelled smoke. The problem I have with this is they waited for us to go outside and while we were gone to have a cigarette, which was about 10-12 minutes and we even passed her in the hallway, she have every opportunity to address us directly she choose to enter our room and take pictures..Which is clear to me that they invaded our Privacy..Shameful, considering that will all the fire safety equipment they have in place and in every room any indication of fire would have activated any of those provisions.....Rita Hill
The interior is very dark with all the browns. The staff were very friendly. Not really that imptessed with supper at the restraunt. The wirpool tub had a list of what you couldnt do but no list of how to run it
This hotel is fairly new. the staff is very friendly. the location is close to the highway so perfect if you have an early start the next day. This was my first time at this location and it will definitely be my go-to hotel while in this area. The food at the restaurant was good and the service was great.
I stayed here last night. Booking was fast, check-in was friendly, room and bedding were also fine and comfortable. I was on the 2nd floor and there was slight noise but not sure whether it was from the hallway, another room or the front exterior. I ordered room service and it was quick, reasonably priced and taste good. I did not have their free morning continental breakfast, although it was offered. The place still looks new and modern. Free wifi was available and worked fine.
We found this hotel as a base for a volleyball tournament and only wish we could have spent longer enjoying the facilities. Great pool, nice bar and restaurant and one of the best free breakfasts I've had. Lots of hot choice and the breakfast potatoes were amazing. Great choice of hotel - Best Eestren has certainly upped their game here!
This hotel fells and looks like brand new. Pool is nice, Gym is complete and Service is superb. If you geet stuck in a Blizzard and you want to eat something, their restaurant is perfect. The food was always good and fresh. Everyone treat you like a king and everything is always Clean.
Great hotel with great staff! This is my second visit to this property and both times have been great. From check in to check out everything was perfect. Thank you Logan for the early check in. Unbeatable value for the money.
I came here for some time out after spending weeks on end working. I thought it was an amazing experience for me. the staff were friendly. Place was very clean and welcoming. Enjoyed my time here and will be back again soon.
Our first visit here, property is fairly new and very clean. Staff were friendly and polite. The meals were well made. The drinks seemed a little "thin" but with a different mixing technique that could be corrected :). Overall we liked the room and enjoyed the stay very much. I would recommend the property for all.
I have stayed here several times on business. The hotel is modern and clean and up to date. This is my favorite hotel to stay in in the Bridgewater area - after having stayed at other properties. They have a restaurant here as well. Food is ok. Nothing special, but the hotel itself is great.
Really exited for my visit here in early April. Will write a full review once I've visited and came back. Staying with a big group with 10 rooms all together. Exited to go swimming in the pool, hot tub, use the water slide. Also ready to eat your breakfast (hope the food is better than its reviews are :) )
The staff were friendly competent and made us feel welcome from arrival to departure. There was a hot and cold breakfast buffet included. We ate at the restaurant both evenings and enjoyed great food and excellent service at reasonable prices. There was a pool with a water slide which was great for families with young children. The rooms were large and well maintained .The rooms next to the pool could be a bit noisy but closed at 9.00P.M.
The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Wanted to get into the gym earlier than the posted hours....not a problem at all. Also needed a late check out time, the front desk obliged willingly and free of charge. Beds are very comfy. Will stay here again
Service was excellent, Room was nice and clean, food was excellent. Location is really handy and easy to get to. Stay would have been perfect except for front desk allowing another guest access to our room at 5:30 in the morning.
We stayed for a week over Christmas while visiting nearby family. The hotel is fairly new, well-located just off the highway, very accesible. Handicapped parking right by the front door, friendly & helpful front desk staff, lovely big room with comfy beds (feather duvets!!)...the little restaurant on main floor serves breakfast buffet, totally loaded with eggs, omelettes, that really yummy local ham, french toast, hashbrowns, great fruit salad - it's all there. Overall very happy with the room, it was quiet and good sized. Only complaint was the pool area...the pool itself was quite cold, the hot tub (when we got there) was full of a family with young kids (even though it was clearly posted no kids under 12). After they left we got in to the hottub and half the jets were detached and the water was unbelievably murky. Got out of there pretty quick. The worst of it was the tiles in the entire pool area - deadly when wet!!!
very nice room , clean and comfortable beds , very quiet , breakfast very good , egg omelette delicious , coffee good , nice vase of flowers on tables dining room clean . . very good internet service. cleaning ladies very kind and front desk ladies very friendly . Very fast check in and out. very good water pressure . close to stores and places to eat and very close to highway 103 .
Everything was perfect food was amazing Pool fun staff top notch very friendly Very clean Tina Grace is very professional and fun at the same time Definitely going back just because everything was above expectation
If you are visiting Bridgewater, this is a great place to stay. The property is well maintained, all of the staff was so friendly and the room was spacious and immaculate. The cable and wi-fi worked great, and the hotel also has a great restaurant/lounge located inside. This hotel also has a gym and a pool and laundry facilities. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting the area, whether its a business, family, or couples trip.
The staff couldn't be any friendlier. The meal we had in the onsite restaurant was delicious. The breakfast the next day was every bit as good. This hotel was easy to find. The beds and cleanliness of the room was exceptional.
Very clean and great pool for kids as it has a great slid. Not much to do in the off season in the area. Your are close to Lunenburg and Peggy"s Cove. Beautiful place to visit. People in the area are extremely pleasant. If you are in a hurry, this is not the place for you. Enjoy
Stayed here on October 23rd with 3 others. Hotel was nice and comfy. Newly renovated with flooring and fixtures. Breakfast was good and the place was clean. We have nothing bad to report about this place. Staff was friencly.
The Best Western Plus in Bridgewater didn't disappoint, first time I stayed at this facility, quite modern, rooms spacious, bed very comfortable, the hot breakfast was very enjoyable, with real eggs both scrambled and omelette style, ham, sausages, toast, yogurt, juice, coffee, etc. Also was upgraded to whirlpool spa in my room.
Was in bridgewater for 1 night. Hotel is nice inside and out. Very close to everything, food, shopping, highway. Hotel is clean and staff were friendly and helpful, My wife forgot something in our room when we checked out, i called the hotel they found it and had it shipped to me. All went well. Pool area was very nice, water slide is one of the best ive been on at a hotel. Hot tub was nice and hot. Good selection hot breakfast. Overall had a very good stay and would go again if i was in the area.
I have never been to this part of Nova Scotia before and traveling alone on business, it was nice to see friendly faces and helpful people. The room was ace. Well impressed too with the wait staff at the restaurant. Breakfast was included, but I slept in... must have needed it. Thanks
A little further from mid town than some might like but it's a great location for shops and alternate eateries. Our room was very clean with 2 queen beds and a decent sized bathroom. The walls are thin, but aren't they always in these types of hotels. The restaurant is open until 9.45pm and the bar until 11pm - just what you need after a hard days work or travel!
This hotel is like having a little bit of home with you . It is in the best possible location for exploring eastern Nova Scotia. Have stayed twice this year !!!! Will return again . Bedding especially pillows need to be updated .
The hotel is in a good location to the highway and shopping. Not by the water. The beds are harder than what I like, pillows a little lumpy but quality bedding. Room was clean, staff friendly and accommodating. Restaurant was good. Hot breakfast had a good variety, 2 different kinds of eggs, nice roasted/pan fried potatoes, fruit salad one morning and all the other typical offerings.
Located out-of-town, this is a pretty generic hotel. Clean but with thin walls and floors. Breakfast is shown as 6.30--9.00 but what this actually means is they put the breakfast out at 6.30 and leave it until 9.00; avoid this and do yourself a favour with the McDonald's in the Walmart over the road or the Tim Hortons the other side of the highway junction.
Great Hotel. Very new, Great Restaurant, Great free Breakfast, Nice Bar. I have tried to stay at the Best western Hotels in the States. As far as I am concerned, they are in the lower end of hotels in the states. The Best Western in Bridgewater is on the top of the best that I have stayed in the states. Shopping center across the street, Boston pizza next door. Looking forward to my next stay. Everybody that was employed there while we stay was more than helpful. Thank you Best Western Bridgewater. You made our stay great.
This hotel was very expensive compared to other hotels that we stayed at in Nova Scotia and not the quality that we are used to at Best Western Hotels. The hotel is further away from Halifax than expected and parking is a challenge. We eventually realized that there was more parking in the back but no one told us and it wasn't obvious. The breakfast room was a lovely setting, however, staff couldn't keep up to demands.
