Our room was clean and the breakfast was very nice. The only issue we had is the bed was very lumpy, the blanket very scratchy and there was no bottom sheet. A couple of changes would definitely make it 5 star. The staff was friendly and accommodating.
We didn't plan to stay in Brazil but the weather was nasty and we wanted to get off the road. We got the last room for the night and what a surprise. It was a big spacious room. Granted it was a king suite but it was spacious compared to some we have stayed in. There was a Renaissance Fair and an Apple Festival going on. We were fortunate to get a room at all. The room was very clean. The bathroom was spotless. We had a king suite, it had a small stove and sink in addition to the fridge. There were no pans but if you had your own, this would be an idea stay for anyone on special diets, or need the freedom to prepare a meal in the room. I particularly appreciated the large table, with comfortable chairs. There is a food truck parked on the location and we picked up dinner and ate in the room. We had a difficult day and it was raining out so being able to relax and eat in our room in a comfortable setting was just perfect. Another factor that I appreciated was there was no furniture with fabric. Everything was either wood or a vinyl fabric covering. No fabric to collect funk from previous guests. I wish more hotels would use this model. The bed was a little worn but it was okay, the only complaint was the sheets were less than comfortable. An upgrade in sheets would be appreciated. We slept okay except for the emergency vehicle that went by and woke us up in the middle of the night. But overall we slept well, and woke up feeling refreshed. Breakfast was good, nothing to brag about but nothing to complain about either. Except the coffee. PLEASE filter the water. So much chlorine in the water that we couldn't drink the coffee it was so bad. Good thing we used our own bottled water for our first cup in the room!
We always stay at this Best Western due to the locality and the cleanliness and service. We have never been disappointed in the quality of the hotel. A great place to stay for a warm atmosphere and clean rooms. Personable staff and a warm breakfast to start your day.
Best Western was/is like the proverbial box of chocolates- you NEVER KNOW what you will get. When they changed their branding to Best Western Blue for run of the mill BW's and Best Western PLUS for the better ones, it was a slight improvement- BUT THIS HOTEL IS NO PLUS, I assure you. It's like they took all the furniture from their worst BW and placed it here. Internet was a disaster, speeds between 0.29 and 12 MBPS, worse than dial up. The furniture in the room is falling apart (see photos) one cushion looks like someone urinated on it and no one cleaned it up. Totally DISGUSTING. The bathroom is spartan and the mirror looks like it has mold in it. Not a single USB port exists in this room and the poor workspace is anything but, there isn't a single electrical socket anywhere near the table to work on. The pictures will tell you everything you need to know about this place- it is not a PLUS property. I've stayed at BLUE properties that were far cleaner and better than this dump. Steer clear unless you like living in broken furniture and un-clean conditions.
This place is great you'll enjoy the breakfast and the quietness of the hotel no interstate noise at all. Breakfast is great they have biscuits and gravy not found at many other places. Pool is not up but no problem it was outside and to hot during our stay. Staff are all friendly and polite.
Very clean room, we visited family and were very happy the two days were free using 40,000 points I had accumulated from work. I am now retired and likely will not be able to save points for another free stay. This was a one time thing but will always remember it fondly.
For me, on a return trip to SoCal, I choose my stay locations based mostly on driving distance. Coming from the BW in Hubbard, the Best Western Plus Covered Bridge Inn was a little over 400 miles, which is perfect for me. The facility is about half a mile off the freeway, right past the Burger King. NOTE: The only entrance to the parking lot is off the State Road. My GPS had me turn at the four-way stop which takes you to a dilapidated looking Roadway Inn. I turned around in their parking lot and found the right entrance. Check-in was interesting. The two people covering the desk has absolutely no personality. None. I tried to engage and got one-word responses. Same in the morning when checking out. Not rude, just not interested. Thought I fell into an episode of the Stepford Wifes. However, they were efficient so no worries. The room was very clean and functional. I was very close to the elevator but never heard it, nor any neighbors. I choose to leave early so did not partake in the "free" breakfast, but the room was full, so I am guessing it's pretty good. Overall, a nice stay. I don't expect to be in the area again but would have no problem staying here if life takes me in this direction.
We enjoy the service staff, and the cleanliness of the room. Everything was perfect, the breakfast was a full setup with pancakes, eggs, biscuits/gravy sausage, and different kinds of coffees/lattes
Check in staff was very friendly. The hotel was immaculate. Wifi was strong and easy to use without jumping through login hoops. Breakfast doesnt start until 7, so if you leave early, plan ahead. Coffee and beverages available in the lobby 24 hours was a big plus.
We stayed here as we moved our elderly sister from PA to OK and jt was an ideal place after a long day of truck loading and driving. The rooms were very clean and quiet, the staff was exceptionally helpful (even made sure a card I needed to mail made it to the mailbox), and breakfast was varied and excellent. I'd highly recommend this as an economical, wonderful hotel!
I never have received a free night after staying 2 nights. A clerk told me to call Best Western, I haven't done that yet.
We really liked this hotel. We were here for a combined eclipse and ISU visit trip. Staff was really great, breakfast was good. Did not notice much noise from truck stop nearby. There is a food truck in the parking lot that was amazing. Would stay again.
Our family of four visited from NJ on April 4. The front desk employee, a young gentleman, is very nice and professional. The room is clean, sizable and quiet. The full breakfast is good to to start a day. This is a very comfortable hotel to stay. I will recommend to my friends.
This facility is a value both in price and amenity features. It offers an excellent full breakfast, a gym with cardio and weight training equipment, and offers accessible wi-fi. What more do you need?
Nice low key hotel close to I-70. Quiet. Breakfast is very average, but decent. New exercise room and laundry. Whole facility has been repainted recently. Two restaurants nearby, Iron Skillet at the truck stop across the street, Family Table across the intersection. Burger King adjoining parking lot. Friendly staff.
Compared to other properties where I have stayed, this one seems to lack any type of noise reduction in the walls. The occupant of the room next door could be heard watching tv and talking. The staff member when we checked in was nice but not too with it; the staff member when we checked out was not friendly.
The room was small for a disabled room. It was very noisy which made it difficult to sleep. There wasn't much in the area. The breakfast was okay, but could have included real oatmeal and more fruit other than apples.
Room was stale smelling, one bed was not very clean , it had a black foot print in the sheets, I was too tired to care after driving nearly 800 miles from Louisiana to attend my grandmother's funeral locally, so slept in the other bed. Sheets were itchy, crunchy feeling.
Disappointing that there was no cancellation option if travel unforeseen delays meant missing the stay at this hotel. The bathroom towels were thread bare and the mattresses were worn and broken down on the edges
The good: Check in was a breeze. Breakfast offered plenty of hot and cold choices. The employee kept all items replenished quickly and also made sure tables were clean as soon as guests left. Room was clean and beds were comfortable. Bathroom provided the soap/shower items in the on-the-wall containers, which we like. Fridge and microwave worked as they should. There were gas stations, fast food and a restaurant nearby. The not-so-good: We arrived a bit late on our first nite there (around 8p), and didn't realize the tv didn't work until a bit later. We didn't think there was a need to report it then, as figured nobody was on site to fix. There was no instruction sheet, which is typically in a hotel room, so we didn't know if we were just 'missing something'. When we went down for breakfast at 7a, I stopped at the front desk to inform them. When I told the employee, she said "did you notify the front desk?" Um .. that's what I'm doing now. She wrote the info down and we assumed we would hear there was a solution to the issue. When we returned to the room that afternoon, we could tell nobody had been there and the tv still wouldn't work (more than saying "Direct TV" on the screen. Back to the front desk I went, The young man working was very apologetic and came up to the room to look at it, but couldn't figure out the issue. He came back a second time with batteries to see if it was the remote. Nope. He contacted his manager via email and she suggested we unplug everything and try again - we did - but no luck. He offered to give us another room, but what a pain - for all involved. We thought there would be another tv available that they could swap out. But, no again. The employee was very kind and did his best for a resolution, but we still ended up with no tv for 3 nites. I was hopeful that we would receive a minimal room credit, but that didn't happen either. Unfortunately, the walls in the room were VERY thin. On one side, we heard a loud tv and on the other side we heard every word the guests said - most of them of the 4-letter unflattering variety. Aside from the tv issue, the stay was good and prices, as a Rewards Member, were very reasonable, as we had a special multi-nite stay price. I would have rated our stay higher, if not for the TV issue. It was located within a decent driving distance to many covered bridges.
It was $164 to stay 1 night in the hotel, there are no amenities because it's all closed down for whatever reason. Breakfast was canned gravy, a bag of mini donuts on a tray and generic pop tarts. For the price you would think you'd have at least one positive thing to say but unfortunately that's not the case, housekeeping forgot the clipboard in my room after it was “cleaned” however the room didn't really look very clean to begin with, everything was covered in dust but old dust if that makes sense.. (like it's been there a while) there was no hotel size lotion or anything like that, there wasn't even an extra roll of toilet paper just the 1/2 roll on the holder.
The Staff was friendly. The room was nice, comfortable bed. Pet Friendly hotel. Ask for first floor and was accommodated. Easily accessible from the highway. Great restaurant in walking distance. Nice place.
Better to stay here than in Terre Haute. Same standard room you would get in Terre Haute when you move your kid into school but you won't pay the big dollars. The only issue I had was there was no desk in the room. Otherwise, it is just 15 minutes from Terre Haute. Very comfortable bed and good water pressure in the shower.
Always clean when I stay. Always friendly and helpful. Prices are fair and consistent. No pool is helped by the staff being friendly and competent. We arrived quite late and Jonathon was unperturbed by this. Quickly had us in our room and we were able to get some rest before we began our day.
I was forced to make a stop thanks to my truck having troubles. The staff was so kind and helpful. I had my 4 year old with me and felt safe and at ease. Breakfast was amazing and the room was very clean.
This hotel is conveniently located right off I-70 at an exit with several truck stops. We did not hear truck noise. The price we paid was very reasonable and the room was clean. But, the wifi was not functional even after we reported the problem. We have newer devices and have not encountered difficulties at other hotels. The exercise room was closed. This should have been noted on the website. Breakfast included cereal, some donuts, bread, eggs, bacon, and tater tots. The pancake and yogurt machines were broken. Overall, the stay was adequate, but don't expect wifi or a workout area.
Very nice property for the price we paid $100. Very clean, very friendly people. Comfy bed with lots of pillows. Had a small fridge and a microwave. Lobby looked fresh and clean. Did not try the breakfast. Parking was well lit and safe.
Rooms were clean, no sign of bugs under the mattress or bedding. Breakfast was typical, not the worse I've had. Staff was super friendly and helpful. My reservation on rating comes from the fact that nowhere during the booking process told me that the pool and hot tub were unavailable. Extremely disappointing! We're in the middle of June, they should be a given...
Booked a cpl rooms for my wedding party, then thought to talk to a manager about possible group rate for my wedding party from out of town. While waiting for her to respond via email or phone I was left with no choice but to go ahead and book additional rooms. Now the room rate had gone up 80% from what I could've booked them for before talking to manager. When I informed the manager about this while booking again, all I got was, I'm sorry but nothing I can do. Here's 20% off. Due to their incompetence and lack of communication it cost us substantially more to stay here.
Stayed with my fiancé and our dog. They were wonderful there. Made sure we had a room in the area we asked for. Only problem I have with the place is that they said they plan on quitting allowing pets to stay. My dog goes with us on a majority of our trips, so we have to find hotels that accept pets. There aren't a lot of places that allow you to have dogs.
Room was clean, price is good, bed was comfortable, location was safe, front desk personnel were all professional and friendly. I didn't have time to get breakfast but it smelled great. They have a fitness center. I would stay here again.
Excellent stay! My only issue was customers who smoked didn't follow hotel rules so the fire alarm went off at 2am and at 4am my room was filled with cigarette smoke smell. Hotel staff QUICKLY solved all of these problems.
$245 to stay at this hotel way over priced ! Were not able to use these so called points to lower cost of overpriced stay that we were told we could do. After traveling 12plus hours to reach this destination we were committed to staying here and way to tired to travel around looking for a more affordable hotel in the dark!
We stayed here during the Covered Bridge Festival. Price was higher than normal of course. Room 204's bed was like sleeping on a board. The room was clean. We couldn't get the TV to work. But that's ok since the walls are thin. We listened to our neighbors all night.
No marked handicap parking. No ice machine. Elevator access on room floors were very tight. Bed was very comfortable but couch needed new cushions. Did not care for wall mounted amenities in bathroom, could not tell if they were filled until you used them. Sink drain was plugged slow to drain.
Great place to stay. Clean, excellent customer service. Breakfast was great too. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are in the area. Rate was reasonable compared to others in the area. Was very quiet and convenient to the highway.
Amazing staff, super clean. Traveling a 20 hour drive with a 7 month old. Needed a room last minute once she had enough and glad we chose this one! Breakfast was amazing!! Pillows sucked. They were awful lol. But that's the only complaint I had.
This was, by far, the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. Our 11-year-old son even commented how it was the cleanest hotel we've ever stayed in. Staff were super kind and helpful. Exceeded expectations!
This Covered Bridge Inn Best Western was clean and quiet. It was at a great location. They had a nice breakfast. Everyone was very friendly. We stayed one night. Our room had a refrigerator but no freezer. I had some frozen items I wanted to keep frozen. We will definitely stay here again.
Stayed one night here. The property is slightly more than 500 feet from I-70, so noise from the interstate was negligible. Room entrances are indoors. My room was clean with good wi-fi. Breakfast was a mix of hot foods and fruit. All in all, this property was in-line with what one would expect from a BW Plus.
Our rooms were very clean, had all amenities that we needed, and the beds were very comfortable. Staff was helpful and so nice. There was a good variety of breakfast items at any time of service and coffee was great. We were there five nights and would definitely stay again!!
Always great customer service. Friendly staff. Clean rooms. Breakfast isn't terrible. It fills the hunger void. Beds are a little firm, but pillows are super soft. Rooms cool/heat as they should. Shampoo, conditioner and soap included. Nice hot showers.
Hotel was spotless. Staff were very helpful. Ben checked me in and was so kind! Also, they gave my dog a pet goodie bag which was such a great surprise! The location was very convenient. Even though I was traveling alone, I felt safe and secure. And they put my room away from the front desk or heavy traffic areas which was great so my dog wasn't disturbed. I will definitely stay here again!
My wife and I checked into this Inn while on a road trip from the SW to the NE U.S. We arrived very late at night. We first checked into the Hilton Garden Inn at Terre Haute but the conditions of the room were deplorable, and we left within 30 minutes of check-in (see my review of that awful experience). Our experience at this Inn was first-rate. The Inn was easily accessible from the highway. Parking was plentiful and well-lit. The night staff was friendly and helpful. The property and the room were clean and well-kept. The beds were comfortable. Although the hotel appeared full, the room was very quiet. Breakfast was more than adequate. The price was very reasonable. All things considered it was a really nice stay. I recommend with no reservations. I asked my travel agent to replace Hilton with Best Western on my preferred hotel list for business and professional travel.
We had an issue after we checked out--the day after we checked out, we received an additional $50 charge on our bill for "ruined linen/deep cleaning". It took three phone calls to the hotel to reach the manager, who explained that my "husband left a note apologizing for his wife 'getting sick'." I explained to the hotel manager that I did NOT get sick and that MY husband did not leave any notes to that effect. It appears that either the room number was in error or the date of arrival/departure was in error because it was not us. While we were finally able to resolve the $50 charge--the hotel reversed the charge because I am a gold member--the manager still did not believe me when I told her that it wasn't us who left behind the mess. She further stated that my record will show that, if we ever stay at their hotel again, the room will have to be inspected prior to our departure. I appreciate the fact that the credit was issued, but I do not appreciate the "black mark" on my record, especially when we did nothing to deserve it. We were NOT the ones who left behind the mess. In addition to the previously stated issue, we also had a problem with someone smoking in one of the rooms around us--the smell of cigarette smoke was quite strong in our room and started up around 8:30 p.m. I called down to the front desk, and the clerk brought up a can of air freshener spray and also tried to figure out where the smoke was coming from. She was a great help in trying to address the problem. Additionally, someone had their TV on quite loud until around 3:30 a.m. In spite of these problems, the hotel was a great place to stay. At the end of a long day, it offers rest and refreshment, and the people were extremely friendly and welcoming.
Needed a place to stay for a quick night during vacation travels. A very clean room. Efficient and quick check in. Didn't experience the breakfast due to getting in the road quick but would definitely stay here again. No complaint whatsoever.
The bed was rock hard, which some like. If you're used to a soft mattress, avoid this place- I got virtually no sleep. Skimpy gym. Hot breakfast had scrambled eggs and sausage with other breakfast items. Terrible tv channel selections. I will not stay here again.
Good hotel fair pricing will Fair breakfast Near the interstate friendly stuff pet friendly clean facility comfortable bathroom easy parking motorcycle friendly restaurants close by or garbage overall good hotel for the money
We were very pleased with every aspect of staying here. Very clean, staff was caring. Restaurants within walking distance. Breakfast was plentiful, lots of choices. It was well kept. It was super clean and we felt very safe.
I reserved a room with a king size bed and a sofa bed. Upon arrival I was told my room was given to someone else and the room they gave me did not have a sofa bed but instead a kitchenette. I was not in need of a kitchenette I needed the sofa bed. I was told someone else checked in before me and said they needed the sofa bed so they switched them to my room. No apology was given, no compensation was given, I still paid for the king room with a sofa bed. Even after speaking with the manager Melissa the next morning who was very rude and unapologetic. I expect to get the room I reserved and if the rooms needed to be switched why I didn't at least have the same amount of sleeping space. If a kitchenette was a need it wasn't usable, there weren't any pots, pans, utensils or plates. The coffee maker was in the bathroom because there wasn't space in the kitchenette due to having no counter space. The door to our room didn't latch properly and could just be pushed open without the key. This was suppose to have been a newly renovated room, the bed clothes were old and the lamps had rust on them. I would not recommend staying here.
We had a very pleasant stay in Brazil. There was ample parking for our oversized van. The desk clerk was very personable and welcoming. Our room was very clean and quiet. There was a variety of breakfast items to consider. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area.
Very professional staff. Clean and well maintained rooms. Actually a smoke free room that didn't smell like a old biker bar. Nice layout throughout the hotel. Large gravel lot out back for tractor trailers and rv's.
We have always been happy with the service and cleanliness of this hotel. The breakfast area is clean and there is a nice variety for everyone. We usually arrive late at night and always feel safe. Check in and check out were fast. We used the fitness center and it had everything we needed to do our streaming workouts, like weights, bench, etc. The fitness center was very clean. Everyone is always pleasant. Definitely recommend this hotel and Best Western Plus overall.
We have stayed at this hotel on 2 different occasions. They have done some updating which is nice. Our room was clean which is HUGE to me! The beds are a bit hard, some of the washcloths were brownish and the walls are super thin.
The room was clean with no trace of smoke. The parking lot is not well illuminated, but the desk clerk stated crime was not a problem. The hotel is a bit noisy, possibly due to not much insulation in the walls. The hot breakfast is very good. I will probably stay there again.
top notch, the staff was nice and helpful, friendly and eager to chip in to make stay comfortable, i will go back there first chance i get. I did notice the elevator needed upgrade as it was slow. but i did use stairs with no problem.
Very clean, strong wifi, delicious breakfast, elevator. We were traveling through on our way home. Easy to find off major highway. Hotel appears to be rather new. Nice breakfast seating area. Hallways new carpet and clean.
I walked into the lobby and was greeted with a welcoming smile and the clerk asked how may I help you. Check in was a breeze, I was informed about where the elevator was, and the time of the breakfast in the morning. Nice lobby, good layout for bringing in luggage. My room was spotlessly clean, nice tv with a guide to search for channels. Internet was quick enough for what I needed to do on my phone. Bathroom had liquid soaps and shampoo/conditioner which was super easy to use. Would definitely stay here again on the next trip that way.
We came here last year for a family visit and it was good. We came back again this January and it was even better! There was a little incident before and they were renovating a portion of the building, but apparently they continued throughout. Everything seemed new and updated. The bathroom is very large which I appreciated. The beds were extremely comfortable and we slept very well. The breakfast was more than expected-with waffle maker, eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy. The entire hotel was super clean and fresh! The front desk people were efficient and even the workers we encountered on the elevator couldn't have been more polite or friendly. There were not a lot of people here as January is not a busy time, but the hotel was quiet and we felt safe-Covid-wise. This hotel is in an area with a couple of truck stops so you would think maybe the hotel wouldn't be much or would not cater to families, but this is definitely a step above what you might expect. This is a hidden gem and I think if you were to go east 50 miles toward Indianapolis, you would have to pay at least $40 more a night.
This was our third time staying at this Best Western. Good price. Always very welcoming at check in. Quiet and clean rooms. Always a good breakfast buffet. Will definitely stay again when passing through.
I'm a travel nurse and stay here several nights a month. The rooms are always very clean and the staff is very friendly and helpful. I never have any complaints. I was surprised to find such a nice hotel in such a rural area and a very good price!
Nice, clean hotel with amazing staff (super friendly and helpful). Breakfast was decent. The beds were very firm and uncomfortable (which made us sore) and it was noisy, so we all slept poorly unfortunately.
This property is fresh, clean and up to date. And the prices are terrific. I don't think you will finder a better run property anywhere in the area. And none for this price. I highly recommend this hotel.
I like the soap, shampoo & conditioner dispensers. Most hotels give you a little sliver of soap so I usually take my own but I didn't need to at Best Western. The coffee and coffee pot was a delightful touch. The bed was very comfortable and I had a peaceful sleep.
Dogs barking most of the night, tv's playing at loud volume - maybe to drown out the dog barking; stomping walkers pacing back and forth on upper floors, and poor internet that seems to be the accepted norm for this location.
Stopped after a long drive, and happy we did. From check-in to checkout, this place is by far one of the better hotels in the Best Western chain. If I could give it 10 stars, I would. Very clean, very comfortable, and very comfortable. And to complete our stay, a wonderful full breakfast bar. Great job staff in Brazil Best Western plus.
The most horrendous service I have ever received from any corporation in my entire life. I booked a room for one night in this facility. The initial room I walked into was an absolute SAUNA. I genuinely could not breathe in the room from the second I walked in. I got extremely hot, sweaty, and claustrophobic. I put my orange juice in the fridge and tried to turn down the temperature but nothing happened and it was absolutely unbearable in the room. I went back down to the front desk and informed them of the issue and they changed my room without an issue. The next morning I get ready to leave and realize I had left my juice in the room. I went back to the room and tried to get in with the card key, thinking maybe the room was still linked and I could grab it. I could not enter the room so I went to the front desk and informed them that I needed someone to go get my juice for me. Three young children, out of uniform, went back to the room to retrieve the juice for me. A few days later I see a second charge on my card. I figure that they accidentally charged me for both rooms, so I called them to situate things. They inform me that I was given a $150 fee for smoking in the room. I am not a smoker and did not smoke in the room. The manager claims that she has “video evidence of me going back into the room and walking around the building” but also admitted that I could not enter the room and that their staff had to enter it for me. The General Manager has hung up on me and refuses to speak with me. I have gotten nowhere and have been wrongfully charged $150.
Pretty lobby, prompt/friendly staff, great breakfast, overall clean, but the beds were hard; leaving us with backaches. They were in a remodel, so perhaps mattresses were new and will soften with time.
Only 1 night but the Hotel & Staff were Amazing - We had a room on the top floor and it was quite nice and the beds confortable - Parking areas had plenty of lighting - We checked hotel ratings & prices on line and were fine with the prices online but when I went into the hotel I was able to get the room for a good $10.00 less than the online prices - If in the area would stay again
The property well kept but that's where the good news ends. We were given a handicap room where the elevator butts up against the front wall of the room. For hours we heard the doors open and close. Then we were subjected to hearing them go up and down for hours. When that noise went down we were able to get a couple hours sleep until the occupants in the next room began yelling at each other for hours. The desk personnel was no help. Then wanting to shower, there was no hot water. Went back to the desk and was told in that particular room they had given us, the "hot" setting was really the cold setting AND the "cold" setting was really the hot setting. Why weren't we told that when we checked in? Finally about 7:30am, cigarette smoke started filtering into our room. I was told that it was people outside. I went outside and there was no one in sight. I used a gift certificate from HOTELs.com for $100 which is not reimbursable. to say it was bad is an understatement.
Slow check in, incorrect rate for what we booked, missing LIGHT BULBS from the lamps, wires exposed in the walls, poor quality breakfast, no hair dryer in the room. Ice machines mot working. Drink machines empty. Will mot stay again.
Rooms are nice, well decorated, clean, desk staff was very friendly!! Only two complaints: 1. It is very noise, will request a room on top floor next time. 2. The bed is really hard. Not sure if all rooms have same bed??
A value priced hotel that exceeded our expectation. Clean, modern, and well staffed. We had no complaints and will plan to return. The property had some areas under renovation, but currently does not affect the hotel function.
Michelle and her staff go above and beyond to make your stay enjoyable. Room are very clean, all the amenities anyone could ask for. Awesome breakfast bar. One of the things I love most about this hotel is that its pet friendly. My Ruby is treated just like family. Thanks Michelle and staff, I wouldnt wanna stay anywhere else.
While staying at this hotel, they had construction going on, on my floor until almost 10pm. The front desk said that there was nothing they could do. They said the crew is just trying to finish. Well they didn't finish… they were hammering away by 8am the next morning. I got no sleep.
We had a wonderful experience staying at the Best Western in Brazil! We highly recommend staying here! Great breakfast included with your stay! We were traveling and needed a place to stay and this is the place we chose! We got a great price and it was exactly what we needed for just staying one night while we traveled to Missouri to help our son move in his apartment so he can go to college.
A great little hotel while on the road. The room was nice, and comfortable. The staff was great and very accommodating. The price was very reasonable. If I'm in the area, I'll happily stay there again.
I rely on BW's being pet friendly typically and this one was no exception. Be aware that every BW sets their own policy so you aren't suprised when the pet fee is PER pet. This hotel was very clean, the staff friendly and accommodating. This BW even had breakfast buffet which was a nice change.
We've stayed at thiss property many times. I've always given this hotel a good review. I made a reservation for two nights. I called the night before our arrival to ask if we could check in early. Ryan said "no problem" as long as housekeeping has cleaned the room. We checked in at 12:50 and was told after we were issued our room keys that there was NOW an early check in fee of $25. Why weren't we told this when we asked Ryan the night before? The other hotels have never had a fee attached to early check ins or late check out. They were just happy to have us there. The room was fine. except on our second day - the internet wouldn't stay connected, despite our many trips to the front counter to ask for help. we knew the guests in the 2 rooms across from us and they also couldn't stay online. We all kept getting kicked off after 10 seconds. We're looking for other hotels now for our next trip to this area.
Needed a room to stay for a couple of nights to visit family in the area. Had tried to book at this Best Western before but could not get a room. Really enjoyed our stay. Everything was clean and the breakfast was very good as far as taste and selection of food.
Even in the COVID era, there is not excuse for failing to change sheets in between guests. To make it even worse, I was here 5 nights and didn't notice the huge fresh blood stain on the sheet until the 5th night.
It's clean and comfortable, the staff were so friendly and helpful, and for us it was pretty quiet. We had read some reviews about the noise level being “unacceptable” because the walls and floors are not insulated well enough. So, prior to our arrival I called to ask for a secluded room because we were bringing our small dog who would most likely bark at every little noise. When we arrived, not only were we given a double dog bowl, some dog food and plastic waste bags, we were given a room towards the end of the hall on the top floor. We were also thanked for the warning of bringing a barky dog. It turns out it was quiet enough to not cause our dog to bark at all. The only noise that bothered me was being able to hear the person next-door snoring. I am quite a light sleeper, but it did not bother my husband nor the dog. The only other noises that were a slight problem came from being so close to the truckstop and the highway.
Maintain the air units. The noise caused by the incessant dripping from the unit above onto ours literally kept both us and our toddler from sleep and naptime for two days and nights. White noise and running the air couldn't drown it. It was like a clock keeping inconsistent time tapping on our window 24/7, but worse at night. Have you ever dealt with a toddler who hasn't slept or napped well? While you haven't either? Around 97 family members you haven't seen in 2 years at a reunion? Less than optimal. We notified the front desk first thing the first morning and they refused to move us and the issue was never even attempted to be resolved. We weren't the only room dealing with this either as I later learned from other family members staying there. We were given 10% off the cost of one of the rooms we booked and paid for. We got a hotel for more than 10% sleep. More like 90% sleep, 10% shower and get ready. After and before a long road trip, rest is paramount. On the plus side, it was the cleanest hotel we've stayed in recently (more than even 4 star properties) and the staff were all very friendly. Breakfast was generic, but at least offered which isn't the norm again still. Sheets were scratchy, pillows lumpy, bed hard like a futon, and I missed having anything comfy like a comforter.
The hotel appearence was pleasent, Staff were friendly and informative, and the beds were really comfortable. Only part that I did not like was that the pool was out of service. Other than that, I would highly recommend.
Apart from the renovation to improve an already great property, it was a great stopping place. I will stay again if in the area, clean rooms, great breakfast even though limited seating (covid stuff). Attendant was friendly and helpful.
The staff at the hotel were very pleasant and welcoming. The hotel was under some construction, but it didn't effect our stay. The breakfast bar had a variety of options for everyone. Rooms were clean and prices were affordable.
They are in the process of remodeling. My room was pretty good. There were no USB ports. Internet was horrible. Worked sometimes, and sometimes it didn't. It was slow when it worked. A/C worked well. Bed was comfortable and there were enough pillows. Staff were all very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was ok. They still do not have any place to sit and eat. Tables lined up against the wall and chairs all removed. Enough of this nonsense!! Get things back to normal. Other hotels have, you can too. The walls seem paper thin and I could easily hear people in the hall, dogs barking (they accept pets), water flowing in the pipes in the walls, etc. TV was good with lots of channels to choose from. Direct TV.
Tried to give this place every opportunity, but it just is not good. First of all, it really is not close to restaurants... fast food, okay. Your options are pretty much Burger King, maybe Iron Skillet when it's open, and Subway was closed. It's a sad little highway stop without much going on. That said, it's hard to find pet friendly hotels (that allow more than service animals and don't have weight restrictions). Check-in was fine and we got into our room. The air to the room made a rattling noise and the WiFi worked nowhere on the property. I asked about this at the front desk and was told that they were renovating - not sure what that has to do with their wifi. Bed was comfortable, though I could hear a screaming baby through the walls at 1 AM (and after), so not a lot of sleep was gotten. I would steer clear of this one, particularly at the high price point it cost me.
Warm showers, breakfast, comfortable beds are all part of the amnesties offered here. Had no issues with check-in and noise was at a minimum. It's a short walk to local restaurants as well in case you're all worn out from a long day of driving. Wouldn't see a reason not to stop here for a night of rest.
Drove cross country and needed a convenient, clean and quiet stop. This is the place and at a great price. Gas and fast food are close by. Front desk was very accommodating. Beds, towels and sheets very clean.
Trying to get home on I-70, but conditions were too bad to try to keep driving. My daughter found this was the closest hotel to us with good reviews. Found it to be very clean with cheerful staff. All this while keeping the 8” of snow cleared from all the people trudging through drifts and into the building. The bed was nice and firm and there were several pillows which is always appreciated. Cute towels too!
Fair at best—could Hear snoring in room next door and had to call that room to wake up the patron—-walls thin and too noisy from internal source. Understanding the situation with Covid-19 but breakfast was poor quality
I was very pleased with our stay - the room was so clean and the seal on the door was a nice touch to let us know no one had been in our room since it was cleaned and honestly it was the cleanest room overall I have stayed in in a very long time.... Staff was great
The management was particularly helpful and friendly, the hotel and rooms were very clean, and the price was extremely fair and reasonable. I would recommend this hotel to anyone visiting Brazil or a nearby town.
Nice clean Best Western. Typical quality you can expect from the Best Western chain. Easy access from highway with multiple restaurants near by. Safe well lite parking lot. Extra steps taken to ensure cleanliness during the CV-19 outbreak.
First and foremost, I am a Best Western fan so after driving 12 hours and seeing exit 23 had a Best Western I didn't think twice. The lady at the front desk was nice and checked us in quickly. I went to the bathroom and noticed that the toilet was not as clean as I would've liked it but the tub was filthy. I was so tired that I told myself I would address it in the morning. But then my daughter went to get in her bed and there was hair in the bed. I packed up our things and went down and asked for a different room. This one was cleaner but still had a ring around the tub. I had cleaning spray so cleaned it myself. My only other complaint is the walls are thin, I could hear the tv blasting early in the morning. Beds were comfortable, I don't think this location is a good representative of Best Western. I've stayed at many and this has been my only bad experience.
This hotel has an excellent location which is easily accessible from nearby freeways. There is a good continental breakfast. The rooms are clean and the beds were comfortable. The staff were both friendly and efficient in dealing with our stay. The price point is very reasonable. However the tv reception could be better. There were only a few HD channels to choose from.
Friendly and kind nights staff and Morning staff. Breakfast was good and stocked frequently. It was a nice. It was a nice variety for a quick breakfast, both hot and cold options. The room was nicely decorated and very clean. The pillow top mattress were extremely comfortable. Great nights stay!
Staff is super friendly and helpful!!! Rooms were clean and comfortable. Having breakfast made and ready by 6 a.m. was awesome for us early morning workers. My only disappointment was that the eggs were cold and rubbery
There are alot of positives about this hotel but I could not get a good night's sleep because of the noise, and since that is the purpose of staying in a hotel, I had to downgrade my rating. But let's start with the positives, pretty new hotel, rooms are very clean with all the amenities (coffee maker, shampoo, conditioner, lotion, minifridge, room darkening curtains). Front desk ladies were excellent, very friendly and helpful with suggestions. Wifi worked good. Free breakfast offered but I did not try it. There is only one downside....but it's a pretty big downside if the hotel is full. The walls are so thin, you could hear your neighbors talking. And I'm not referring to that muffled sound (I could deal with that), I could actually hear the words and conversation! I did try to turn on the A/C for some white noise (but the A/C ran very quietly which is actually a positive comment). Unfortunately for me, (who had to get up early in the morning) they talked till 11 pm. I couldn't change rooms because the hotel was completely full but it still wouldn't have solved the problem of hearing your neighbors unless I could be guaranteed someone next door who wasn't watching tv or talking. Fortunately the hotel is a decent distance from the freeway because you can hear the semi-trucks driving by, but it's not bad. In all other respects, this is a very nice hotel but I had to lower my rating because of not getting the rest I would have expected.
Return customer of many years but time for a remodel. Breakfast was mediochre, room was not clean. Staff was very friendly and breakfast area was very clean. Will come back but there is definite room for improvement.
nice hotel close to the covered bridge area -- the gift bag for reward members was a nice surprise -- pet friendly - did not have any issues-- adequate breakfast and friendly staff -- would stay here again
Meh... Next year I think we'll try somewhere else. Customer service was very good & I was very pleased they had different flavored creamers which was a great surprise. Down side... Pillows were horrible! They were lumpy, wonky shaped & hard. The fridge wasn't cold at all, didn't have all the tv channels that were listed & room door was hard to fully close. It didn't latch on it's own like normal. You had to make sure you pulled/pushed it closed all the way or you end up walking away like we did a couple times with it still open.
there were towels in our room, but the tub and sink didn't look like they had been cleaned. There was no soap, shampoo, conditioner, or lotion in the room, which led me to believe that it hadn't been entirely cleaned.
This location isn't over the top on anything, but it is very comfortable and convenient. The hotel was clean and quiet from road noise. What the breakfast lacks in options, it makes up for in quality. One of the breakfast staff saw me walking up to fix my plate and quickly grabbed a new pan of fresh bacon to make sure that I could have all I wanted. I will stay here again.
What a great value. I have certainly paid a lot more and got a lot less. Very clean hotel. Helpful staff. Great breakfast. Close to the interstate. Dining options close by. Would definitely stay here again.
I liked this Hotel because it is right off of I-70 and right next to the Petro.Room was very Clean and quiet and on the third floor.Room facing South had great views of Countryside. The check in was fast.
I will first admit this hotel is located on the corner where I grew up. I LOVE the corn and the peacefulness. But it is also a clean, well managed and friendly place to stay. Breakfast bar is yummy with someone always present. Highly recommend!! Be sure to check out family diner across the road!!
We arrived late after a day of driving. The first thing I noticed was human excretions on the burgundy satin bedspread. Why would the cleaning staff not notice that? Gross. I took the bedspread off. In the morning, I find the tub has not been scrubbed and there is mold on the shower curtain. There is even mold on the ceiling. Gross. I complained at check out and was told the owner would get back to me. Never did. The walls are thin, too. Poor baby next door was crying all night. I will never stay here again.
From check-in to check-out we were very pleased with the service, cleanliness, and the thoughtfulness of the staff. Plus it was a great value for a stay, especially considering that breakfast is included..
Good location. Very helpful and friendly staff. Room was comforable and clean. Bed was comfortable which afforded a good night's sleep. I would recommend this hotel if you are travelling through this area.
I had an event East of here in Cloverdale, IN. I wanted a nicer hotel so stayed here. It is a 25-ish minute drive, but it is an easy drive. The hotel is newer, and in great condition. Enjoyed the stay here. Rooms are big, beds soft. The breakfast is fine. As any included breakfast is. Though the coffee was delicious, so be sure to grab a cup. The hotel doesn't have a lot around it is the only weakness. No good restaurants. Since we were driving a fair bit to get here from Cloverdale, we just ate on the way. Not a ton of options for a nice sit down, but if you are traveling Friday or Saturday check out Honeysuckle Hill Bee-Stro. Very small place, but delicious. Back to the hotel now... Staff was great, no road noise while sleeping. So definitely a good place a to stay. Enjoy!
At first glance, our room seemed to be very nice, clean and up-to-date. For the most part, it was. However, the shower curtain was very stained with mildew (pink/reddish) and I noticed an odor, as well. The tub and toilet were not thoroughly clean (rings); was informed by woman at the desk that it was due to well water. We stayed only one night and did not report anything until checkout. We'd probably stay here again, *if the bathroom cleanliness issues are taken care of.
What a nice hotel, located in a industrial area, not great views from the window. The room was very nice. The breakfast area was well stocked and a lady was on duty to make sure you could find everything.
Excellent experience! It was a great experience with staff & cost! Loved the humor if Staff. I forget my clothing after I departed and the staff contacted me so I could retrieve the items. Grateful for the personal touch & meal was terrific!
Fire alarm went off 02:45, alarm was in the room and oh sooo loud. Evacuated through closest exit. Walked around to lobby and no staff anywhere to answer questions. Finally 1 showed up. False alarm. Lost much needed test as truck driver.
I have stayed at this hotel a few times. The room is clean and it's a relatively quiet hotel. But I have 2 complaints. The coffee makers are not clean. The water reservoirs have white specks in them. In addition, on my return visit, I tried to check out (since I was not offered express check out AGAIN) and the clerk was busy setting up breakfast. I ended up telling him to please email or text my receipt, of which he did neither. Did not say thank you for staying with us... nothing. I'm a Gold Plus member. Not great treatment. Hope things will improve next time I stay.
The bed in my room was very hard, so hard that I didn't sleep a wink. Because of the arthritis in my shoulders, the hard bed put me in pain. My workers also reported the beds were harder than they liked. The manager did let me out of the 10 day reservation I had made for 2 rooms.
Mrs Elva is a kind, helpful and amazing person. The hotel very, very, super clean. Housekeeping Emily and Cody work hard. Room very large, very clean. Bathroom very clean. Wifi works very good. Breakfast outstanding. Paking lot safe. I gave AVERAGE, because the acoustic of the rooms and windows is very bad. I heard the noise of the road and the next room all night. And this is not the fault of the staff, but the owner's
Good front desk on check in. Smelled fresh, and had a great room. Eveything was clean and ready. Small problem, new hotels are built so cheap couldnt help but hear TV from next room. Not loud but I have really good hearing. Sure would like hashbrowns with breakfast. Even told the front desk how to prepare them easily. Would stay here again.
Clean room. Neutral smell. Shower was great with good water pressure. Hot water. Good breakfast. Pet friendly with grassy areas to walk them. $20 per pet per night. That's the highest we paid for 6 nights in 6 different cities in 3 1/2 weeks. Beds and pillows were hard, so for someone who likes hard beds they would like them. No grab bars in bathroom. Low toilet.
All was good or average except for the breakfast selection, which was a little on the poor side. People were good. Evening front desk person was very pleasant and helpful. Was a little concerned that all of the doors going to the stairways were blocked open even though each door had a sign which said "fire door do not block open" on it.
Husband and I stayed two nights to attend a family wedding. The location was perfectly located just off I-70 at a busy truck stop refueling center, but there was no problem with noise at all. Our room was spacious and clean; the beds and pillows were very comfortable. We're so glad we booked this hotel, as we think it was the absolute best choice in the area.
A real refreshing change in staying in a motel. Service was the best, from Check in to check out. Staff was friendly, rooms clean and kept up and breakfast was excellent. Will plan to use Best Western Plus again in the future.
This hotel is supposed to be 100% no smoking. Evidently someone in a room near my room was smoking in their bathroom with the fan on. That filled my room with the smell of their second hand smoke. It was like putting my face in an ash tray. I also thought there was a chance the hotel was on fire. This happened many times during my stay. I called the front desk at least 4 times and complained. No offer to change rooms for me or give me a little money back. The next morning I complained at the front desk. The lady was apologetic and was saying they were going to fine the person $1,000. I asked for a little money off my bill but she couldn't do that. I called a corporate number and all they could do was give me a few points on a rewards program and upgrade my status. What a joke! They want your money and won't give any back if they cannot provide the service promised! I stay at many hotels and even if it was a smoking property I've never had anything like this happen and be so annoying!!
Clean, soft bedding, pleasant and helpful staff. Yummy breakfast. Good variety of foods. The smell in the hotel so senchious and delightful. Price is great for the stay. I recommend this hotel if your in the area. Restaurants are just a few feet away. Loved it.
Room was spacious and clean. All the employees I came in contact with were very friendly. They have an elevator to reach the upper floors. The breakfast was great with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy, along with hot coffee, tea, and hot chocolate that are served around the clock. Breakfast also had oatmeal (instant) and some pastries and different types of breads. It is conveniently located about a half mile off Interstate 70. I would highly recommend this hotel.
This was the first time that I have stayed at a Best western in quite some time. I was very pleased with this hotel from the desk clerk to the cleanliness of the room. Breakfast in the morning was average but good.
One of the nicest and well kept hotels I've ever stayed at. I've stayed at a lot more expensive hotels and this one is just as good as them but for a lot less! Bathroom and room were very nice and clean. The free breakfast in the morning was fresh and warm both mornings, everytime they ran out of something, they would bring more of it out. It snowed a lot while we were there, and they kept the parking lot pretty clear, or as clear as they could possibly keep it. Overall we will be staying again.
Lovely property. But first things first ~ kudos to John at the front desk. Friendly & efficient, he placed me in the "just right" room and check-in was quick & EZ which is much welcomed after a long day on the road. Big YAY for automatic front doors and covered entrance so I was able to unload luggage without getting wet. Room was sparkling clean w/fridge, micro & flat screen TV. Free wifi w/ample signal strength. Bed was super comfortable with triple sheeting and lots of fat, fluffy pillows. Easily accessible bedside & desk outlets for charging electronics. Close enough to the interstate to be convenient but far enough off to be fairly quiet. Didn't partake of continental but it looked inviting and was well tended. My only issues were small and hardly worth mentioning: wasn't recognized as BW Diamond Select Rewards member (usually offered free water/snack &/or 250 free points,) wasn't offered Express Checkout (which saves a few minutes when rushed in the morning,) and although the shower water was plenty warm, it never really got hot. Still, these were mere trifles. All in all, a great room at a great price and definitely my first choice in this area :-)
Really enjoyed over night stay in Best Western Plus Covered Bridge Inn. Very pleasing and helpful staff. Also had a good assortment of breakfast items with eggs, sausage, and potatoes or waffles. Juice, coffee, milk and cereal. Enjoyed in door pool and fitness area.
I recommend this hotel the stay and staff was awesome. It was in walking distance of restaurants. The hotel was clean, smelled fresh. Non-smoking. I loved my experience. If you are looking to stay with your family or business i will recommend this hotel.
The entire hotel was very clean and well kept. When we checked in we asked for a quiet room, as we are light sleepers. We were given a room by the road, next to the truck stop that seemed a bit noisy. We went to the front desk and requested a different/ quieter room. Our request was quickly and nicely granted. The breakfast was good and I was impressed that as soon as someone left their breakfast spot an attendant immediately cleaned the table for the next user.
We have been coming to this Best Western for 3 years for the Covered Bridge Festival. The staff is very friendly and always ready to help. The rooms are always clean and they have a good breakfast and keep it stocked. On the weekends they have more to choose from. The decor is wonderful and if you are looking for a place to have lunch or dinner the The Family Table is next door and it is awesome too!
Friendly and helpful with festival activities. Clean tidy rooms and staff was very accommodating. Close to interstate, and lots of places for gas and food at our exit. We ate at Family Table and food and service there was a must. Great home cooking
The hotel was clean Rooms were not noisy. Breakfast was tasty and breakfast lady friendly. Desk help very friendly and helpful. Convenient location to interstate. Close to gas stations. Price comparable to other hotels.
This is a newer property. Everything was clean and well maintained. The room was large and well appointed. Staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good with not a lot of choices. This was a good place to stop for the night.
Loved it the points rrally helped staued 2 nigjts in ny 1 indiana and 1 in arizona awsome place to stay breakfast outstanding huge beds in room coffee dont know what more to say but it was awsome thank you
3rd stay at this property. Very clean, excellent staff. Rooms good with refrigerator and microwave. Nice breakfast. Great location. Elevator out of service this trip for entire stay. Would stay again.
Very nice hotel. Stay here frequently, Rooms are always nice and clean, Staff is friendly and helpful, Breakfast was good, not a lot of variety. Only downside some of the guests were somewhat noisy late evening and early morning. Overall great hotel!
Stayed here because it sits almost directly between Terre Haute and Lincoln Park. Upon arrival we were greeted as reward members with water and goodies. Rooms were clean and up to date. Only compliant is we had a few flys in the room and the walls were rather thin. Otherwise this place is awesome and staff was great!
Upon arrival, we were very pleased with the hotel. It is nice and clean. However later, we noticed how noisy the hotel was. We could hear conversations in the hallway clearly and every time the elevator arrived to the third floor, we could hear the dinging of the bell. Later, the gentleman in the adjoining room called home and put his family on speaker phone. We could hear both sides of the conversation. If not for the noise, I would have rated this hotel highly.
The hotel was a nice surprise at the end of the first day of driving on our vacation. No complaints about our stay there. After an initial glitch when the desk clerk could not locate our reservation, everything went well. The room was very nice, room and bathroom were clean, and breakfast was above average for a free hotel breakfast. The room was quiet, and check-out was quick and easy.
I was surprised how nice this place was as it is in a small community near the interstate. The place was pristine. It sparkled. Nicely decorated and very clean. The reception staff were very welcoming. The room was quiet. The breakfast room was very attractive. Breakfast was about what you would expect at a BW. Would certainly stay there again.
We stayed at this Best Western three days last week while visiting in indiana. The service was great, staff was friendly, and helpful. Everything was clean and first rate. If we travel back that way we would definitely stay there again. Everything was great-nothing to complain about. Wait a minute - no biscuits and gravy during the week for breakfast. Guess it's a cultural thing - we're from Louisiana. Excellent place to stay. David W.
We stayed here for 4 nights as our daughter's home in Clay City, Indiana was being remodeled. We have stayed here many times over the years when circumstance required even though we have family 12 minutes away. We are always satisfied with our room service and overall experience here. The folks are wonderful and do everything they can to take care of you.
We love staying here when we are in the area to move our son back and forth from college. We usually get there before regular check-in time, but our room is always ready. Only two more trips and we will be done.
This Brazil, Indiana Best Western hotel was excellent. Clean, well appointed, and quiet. The service was excellent and the staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was OK....not outstanding but about as expected for this type of hotel.
Great sleep. Mattress was perfect. Bathroom was big enough for my wife to use. Tv needs more channels. Easy control of the cooling & heating unit. Service was great. Easy on & off the interstate. ????????????????
Check in slow, desk clerk a senior lady(we in same age bracket) who liked to visit. Okay with this but had to wait 20 minutes while she and the elder resident to be had to try and out do each other with all their aches and pains and past surgeries in detail. Had our billing wrong and claimed no way to correct? Able to get it fixed the next morning with different clerk in just a jiff. Lousy water pressure, not enough to even wash off soap. By truck stop, very noisy all night, Room ok but worn a lot for a newer motel, not up to a plus level. Breakfast same as most, nothing too exciting.
This Best Western was very good! Very comfortable bed and the room overall was very good. The staff I encountered were very courteous and friendly. The breakfast was very good and there was a nice selection of breakfast items to choose from. Would recommend to everyone!!!
Traveling to Indy on business. Convention in city so I stopped early at the Comfort P,us. Very nice clean room at a fair price. This location was pretty new. The night desk person was very nice and helpful. They served a normal hotel breakfast. I would stay here again.
Clean comfortable friendly place with comfortable beds and pillows. Dog friendly. Very friendly staff! Homemade yummy breakfast with crisp bacon and good scrambled eggs. Great coffee, hot cocoa and tea available 24 hours along with water. Only downside was it was noisy at night with paper thin walls. Heard the neighbors tv all night long with voices and hallway doors slamming. Would stay again tho...
SO happy to stay here. We make a trip to Lena/Brazil every 6 months and have always stayed in Indianapolis. This was wonderful. Spacious room, very clean. Breakfast was great. Bacon and eggs, bagels muffins yogurt, biscuits and gravy, coffee and juices. Large clean bathrooms. (Pantene Shampoo/Conditioner products for those who need to know.) There are truckstop style gas stations/fast food restaurants and ample parking for those vehicles nearby. This hotel is right off I-70. This is VERY quiet... no traffic noises which was surprising! They were able to accommodate my request for a room close to parking. We had a few special requests and they met each and every one. Will absolutely stay here again. See you in 6 months!
Last minute stop heading home from Missouri caught in a winter storm. Was surprised to find such a nice hotel in the area. The lady at the desk was very nice and helpful. The hotel is beautiful, rooms are good size, tastefully decorated and very clean. Breakfast was very good as well with eggs, bacon, biscuits and gravy as well as a variety of cereals, breads, yogurts, fruit etc. I would definitely recommend this hotel
Staff is very friendly. Check-in and check-out were not an issue. Facility is located right off the interstate and easy to get to, but is not well light at night. Beds and pillows are NOT comfortable. Rooms are clean and are of average size.
This a very clean, easily accessible, well lit parking lot and hotel. Wonderful breakfast buffet with multiple choices. Super friendly and helpful staff. Close to several resteraunts, interstate and gas stations.
I travel this route on a regular basis and found this hotel for my last two trips. Staff is top notch and the rooms etc are the best you will find in this price range which is very resonable for what you are getting. Also great location for someone who wants a nice safe, quiet location for rest on a long trip. I will return everytime I am on this route.
Overall a nice, clean , and quiet hotel. The receptionist at the front desk was very helpful. The guest room was a little small but sufficient, it could also use a some better lighting. The restroom was nice and clean I would choose it again if I am in the area!
We stayed here 11-03-17 to 11-05-17. The staff were very friendly and the breakfast was good. That was the only thing good about this hotel. If you are wanting comfort and a good nights sleep then this isn't the place for you. When I first plopped down on the bed it felt like I was plopping down on the floor. At first I thought I was setting on the box spring. Nope, it was the hard as rock mattress! Then when it came to trying to sleep the walls are paper thin! The guests to the right of us were a little loud and we could hear EVERYTHING late into the night! Still tossing and turning all night trying to get comfortable. Morning rolls around we hear the guests to the left of us talking and moving around. I asked the next morning could we be moved. Manage said no and the guests on both sides to us would be gone. It still didn't make a difference, now we had to deal with a fussy kid until it feel asleep. By the time I left there I felt like someone had beat me all over my body and I was sleep deprived. NEVER AGAIN!!!
The Best Western in Brazil, Indiana was a great stay. The hotel was very clean and the lobby was inviting. The desk clerk was happy and welcoming. Our room was clean, bedding was updated, and the bathroom was very clean. The breakfast was great and well presented. As in other reviews, the walls are a bit thin and the neighbors were pretty loud. They were part of a wedding the next day and we could hear a lot of their plans and their excitement. Otherwise, it was a very good hotel.
Had to go out of town for 2 weeks and the Best Western Plus accommodated me extremely well. I can't complain about anythi g but the bed. But hey I'm picky about my beds so that one shouldn't count. The breakfast was excellent, and as early as I had to be up was always on time for serving us early birds. The building looked brand new and rooms followed suit. I will stay there again!
Nice place. Good breakfast. Clean and friendly. Walls a bit thin. Rates very high during Cov bridge festival. Water damage to 3rd floor hallways, need fixing cosmetically. Beds quite hard. Need extra blankets in rooms.
This is a wonderful Best Western. Having stayed here previously, I knew the decor was lovely, but I was really impressed with the comfortable mattress and the thick plush towels. I'd recommend this to any travelers for its easy access and courteous attendants.
Very Friendly & Helpful staff. Breakfast was good & tasteful. Very clean. Bed was a bit on the firm side but slept fine. Price was higher than usual but comparable due to covered bridge festivals. Good location.
We enjoyed our stay. Room was clean and staff was warm and friendly. The manager does an outstanding job in making sure her guest needs are taken care of. Check in and check out was smooth. I would recommend this hotel to anyone that needs a good night sleep. Beds are comfortable and pillows are perfect for my taste.
My family and I enjoyed our stay. We would recommend this hotel to all travelers. The hotel is right off the highway very convenient for those of us crossing the country on the interstate highway system.
Value for travelers. Only 2 restaurants in immediate area. 2 fast-food joints. Areas clean. Rooms clean. Beds comfortable. Helpful staff. Busy, but quiet. Convenient location. Would recommend to most road travelers.
Isn't it strange that the first review I see, is sharing with readers the problem they had with the management. Hmmm This is not the place to stay. Maybe the owners should change management. Also, Best Western (corporate) you are getting a bad reputation!! I will never stay at another Best Western due to my experience with this hotel/motel/inn. Like other reviewers, I had problems with the management. I was quoted a price for my group (we contracted for 12 rooms) for $89.00 per room and when we arrived the price was $159.00 per room. We arrived at 9:30pm and there was nothing we could do but pay the price. The manager refused to talk to me beyond letting me know she can't do anything and this ($159.00 was the price- take it or leave). She said she did not quote me the original price and she would not honor it (I was quoted by an employee who no longer worked at this hotel), even though I had an e-mail stating the price of the room at $89.00 per room per night. I was told to take it up with the corporate office, which I did and they said they could not do anything. I have vowed to update potential patrons to stay away from this hotel, which is my suggestion if you are thinking about staying at Best Western Covered Bridge. Bad management, bad customer service-- recommendation-- do not stay here.
They didn't honor my discount coupon I received by staying at this and other BW"S earlier this year. More important Every time I called about it the Manager was either not there or not avilable. This hotel was one of our favorites and we have used it 4 times this year and 2 times the past 2 years. But No Manager + NO Discount = Not anymore!!!! By the way the BW in Loveland Colorado didn't honor another BW discount coupon we had earned by staying frequently at BW hotels.
This hotel was very comfortable, well appointed and beautifully decorated. We had 2 queen-size beds, fridge, microwave, table and 2 chairs. We are always happy to see that we have a table with chairs because we love to play cards in the evenings after dinner. We could walk to the Family Diner which is always a plus!! Comfy mattress and pillows. Lots of plugs for our electronics.
Needed to stop on the way back to Toledo from a very long motorcycle trip. Sign on highway noted a Best Western. I thought that would due. To my surprise, it was a very nice hotel, and thought it would be much more expensive. They let me park my bike near the front entrance, for security. Whole place was very clean and neat. Room was large with couch. Had a very upscale appearance all the way around. Included breakfast was pretty good, not just donuts. Place even has an elevator. I would definitely stay there again even if i have to drive an extra hour.
I gave the wrong review of this hotel. This review was for the hotel: BEST WESTERN TRUMAN INN in Independence, MO Covered Bridge Inn was excellent in all areas. Clean, helpful and very easy to find! Vickie Nagel
Do not stay at this hotel....There was MOLD in our room as well as a variety of other stains. The room was generally unclean and the shower head was clogged due to lime buildup! It seemed like the room had been neglected for a while and only select items were cleaned. I was informed I would receive a call from management about the issues, however I have yet to receive a call. To be honest I have far better nights of sleep while deployed in combat!
I was completely surprised at this jewel! We wound up extending our stay due to the staff friendliness, hotel cleanliness and location to our family. Elva has remarkable customer service! Each am she greeted my toddler granddaughter with a smile and warm greeting. I had a issue with how I booked when I tried to extend and Elva and the manager had it cleared up quickly. Breakfast is typical of a continental menu. Several options for all palates. Cleaning staff does a great job cleaning the rooms and engaging with the guests. I saved this as a favorite for future visits
I would totally recommend this hotel. Very nice. Good breakfast. And a GREAT price!!! No pool or hot tub tho. The hotel is right by I 70. Easy on and off. There is a McDonald's and Burger King right there too for something quick to eat or drink.
Hotel is in like new shape, always smells clean, prices reasonable, easy commute to Indy, Terry haute, breakfasts items always have great choices, love the manager, everything looks like the first time it opened, can't wait til pool opens
The exterior was cared for and the Interior was clean. The Front Desk check in was quick & easy. The room was comfortable and the staff that I worked met was nice and quick to respond to request for more towels. The price didn't break the bank and the Breakfast was Great.
She is always so happy to see us when we arrive late at checking in to hotel we have tipped her $50.00 for being a bright young lady. Every time we are here she is working hard in making things perfect like the breakfast buffet. Everything nice and straight and clean.. I think her name is Ashley my husband found her name on receipt when we cheacked out with her very nice girl she needs an advance in pay.. just pointing out a good worker you have and we love staying at this hotel except for the rough sheets everything is swell we will be back again for covered bridge festival and hope too see Ashley again.. thank you Mary and Ben Howerton
convenient and a pleasant place to stay. I recommend it. The staff was very friendly and made you feel as if you knew them. The rooms are clean and the breakfast was to my liking. The motel says Brazil , In. but it is actually located just off the interstate. I did hear a big truck in the night but not the fault of the Hotel. We have stayed here once before and would stay again if in the area.
Nice room, nice bathroom but need grab bars for seniors.person above my room pounded all night. Construction people stay here. Close to a large truck stop. Very handy for I70. Several miles to Brazil's restaurants.
We made reservations online and was not disappointed when we got there. They are always polite and curtious and there is always a good breakfast.. The staff is very helpful, we needed a shower chair and they provided one. How cool is that?
We have stayed here before and keep coming back. Rooms are reasonably priced and larger than most Best Western. The facility is fairly new and nicely maintained. The staff all seemed to genuinely want you to have a pleasant stay. We had dealing with front desk, breakfast staff, and people that clean the rooms. We will be back.
Easy access from highway, good restaurants in area, reasonable breakfast, rooms clean and good size. Check in staff wonderful and friendly, morning staff seemed very tired and when asked a polite reasonable question overreacted, scary!
It is a very clean, well maintained property and offers good value for your money. The only problem was that the beds were very uncomfortable. The staff was very courteous and helpful and friendly. I would recommend staying here without hesitation.
This was where we decided to stop after a long drive. When we walked in we were greeted by a very pleasant and smiling desk clerk. She was very patient while I fumbled around looking for what I needed and kept a light conversation going. She explained everything we needed to know very clearly and concisely. The rooms were decent size and clean. The breakfast was good and had a decent variety. We were very pleased with the value for our dollars.
My husband and I stayed here during a 6500 mile trip across the US to sightsee and visit family. The first thing you need to know is that the hotel is NOT in the town of Brazil. We made the mistake of thinking it was and chose our route accordingly, meaning we had to drive quite out of our way in a Midwest thunderstorm – NOT fun. It is situated on a busy intersection just off I-70, so if you're sensitive to road noise, you might want to rethink it. The second thing is – while it's called the “Covered Bridge Inn” due to its proximity to the covered bridges of Parke County (worth seeing!), the staff has no information or knowledge of these bridges. However, it was clean and comfortable, and the folks behind the desk are friendly.
The updating of the BW's were so nice that we booked only BW's on our trip to Michigan. Nice and comfortable rooms that were clean, comfortable with good mattresses and nice size rooms. If BW continues this image we will book only BW, if possible, on our trips.
I would have rated this hotel a 4 except for their customer service. I'm not sure if the staff or management believes that they are part of the Best Western family. My wife and I stayed at 2 previous Best Western hotels on our trip and had a smooth check in because the staff said I was a Best Western Club member. At this Best Western on June 30 I had to show my credit card, ID, etc. upon check in. Upon checkout my wife went to turn in our card keys and request a copy of our bill. Staff told her they would not print her out a bill because we had reserved our room through a 3rd party. When my wife came to the car and told me that I said tell them that I reserved our room through the Best Western web site. She returned again and said the staff had called the manager and he said not to print a copy of our bill because we had booked through a 3rd party not directly through them. They said we had to call Best Western to get a copy of our bill. My wife said she was treated like a 2nd class citizen. Later that day I called Best Western Corporate and said ARE you Best Western? Do you see my club membership along with my 3 different hotel stays? He said yes and he would call the hotel to have them email me a copy of our bill. He placed me on hold but when he returned he said they will not send you a copy of your bill without approval from the manager. The Best Western representative said he would fill out a complaint form for me. After 10:00 that night I received an email copy of our bill. If you book your reservation with this hotel through the Best Western web site and are a Best Western Club member be aware that this hotel views that as a 3rd party site such as Expedia or Travelocity. They only give receipts if you bill with them directly. Why they call themselves Best Western is beyond me. I will NOT stay at this hotel again.
After 300+ miles on the motorcycles, we arrived at the hotel. Less than a 1/4 mile from the interstate, middle of nowhere, was cautious. Surprised by what we had. Very clean and updated rooms, quiet AC-where we had to wonder if it was running. We find it hard to sleep in motel beds, but beds were comfortable and fell right asleep. This was a shot in the dark pick, and exceeded expectations.
Fairly new place I believe. Very clean and comfortable. Decent free breakfast. Good prices compared to others in the area and NO tourism tax on the room. Easy on/off relative to the interstate. Only drawback is the lack of good restaurant selection close by.
I stayed at this hotel twice within a week. Took a short trip to Michigan and this was the almost half way point of my trip. This hotel is convenient to the interstate, has food close by, is quiet despite being busy, is clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly as well. Wish I could tell you about the breakfast, but I did not partake either day. I would recommend this hotel and I will be staying here again.
The staff here is very friendly and helpful. The accessible room I have been in twice now has one problem that probably cannot be fixed; it is next to the elevator. The hotel is across the street from a popular truck stop, and the elevator is operated all time of day and night and can disturb sleep. I discussed with the staff the fact that the accessible shower, being so tall, has an inadequate shower curtain. I suggested they post a sign instructing those using that room to ask for extra towels and place them along the entire length of the shower stall so the floor does not flood. The hot breakfast is a boon to early risers and is served at 6 a.m.
Staff was excellent. Local Restaurants within walking distance. Will return next time business allows. Hotel sits beside a lake that is loaded with geese. Patio for every room that allows you to sit outside and enjoy mother nature. Very unique setting.
My wife and I used the Best Western in Brazil, in. on our way back from New York. The appearance of the hotel was very nice. The room was very clean and nicely furnished. The staff were helpful and friendly. The hot breakfast was one of the best that we have had in our travels. I would highly recommend this hotel.
From check in to check out I would recommend anyone to stay here.the clean rooms and friendly staff are all top notch.this is only best western I'll stay in for problems I had at some others and I stay here every time I get I chance
Went to Depauw Mom's Weekend for my daughter's sorority. This was 25 minutes away. Clean rooms, comfortable beds and great staff. The breakfast was hot and the lady overseeing the food was so attentive. Really enjoyed my stay.
great hotel and the night clerk friendly and made the checkin and out so pleasant and fast and this hotel was great had plenty of parking since I was driving an big food truck. friendly and professional people
I was taking my son turkey hunting and we needed a place to stay, so we decided to try the BW Covered Bridge Inn. When we went in we were treated by a friendly staff it was very nice inside the lobby. Check in was fine and then we went to the room and I was pleasantly surprised how nice it was. The room was very clean, beds and pillows were very comfortable and the bathroom was very clean and neat. The room was very nice and my son and I enjoyed it and had a good night sleep. Plenty of free parking, not much around the Inn other than a couple of truck stops and a Burger King. I would recommend the use of this Inn!
I save the best western would of been good except the staff was rude they need to understand the customer service is very important in this line of business the rooms were wonderful everything was fine the beds were just staff
This was our second visit, place is clean, staff was very friendly. Hotel is right off the interstate and easy to find. Breakfast was ok but nothing was outstanding. I had an 8' cargo trailer and car and we had no problem parking
We stayed here one night on our way to Kansas City. Very nice hotel, clean, comfortable bed and friendly staff, especially the woman who checked us in. Breakfast was the usual BW fare. There were only 2 dinner options near the hotel. Suggest you go to Family Table (recommended by the staff at check-in) which is across the parking lot and not the restaurant at the truck stop across the street. Prices were extremely low, food was home-cooked and servers were friendly.
I stayed here on business the last two weeks. This is a very nice motel and very clean. It smells so good when you walk into the lobby. I don't know what they use but it is nice. Adequate parking and easy access to the interstate. Breakfast is good too with plenty of hot items.
This is a nice , new, well run facility with a couple of glitches. The front door needs to be repaired. It makes a horrible noise when sliding open and first floor rooms near it hear that each time. If you have a pet know you'll have to be on the first floor and will get the associated lobby and breakfast area noise that goes with that. Construction is typical of a lower end hotel. Nicely decorated but walls are thin (could hear snoring in next room) and you'll hear people walking in the room above you. Book 3rd floor if you don't have pets. Nice features... There is an elevator to get to 2nd and 3rd floor rooms. Also entire hotel is non-smoking.
Walls were very dusty. So dusty the people before use wrote the word "dust" on the wall in the dust. When the lamp by the left side of the bed was turned on, you could really see it. But, other than that, it's a pretty nice hotel. Will stay again. Very nice staff
Great place to stay for a family! Clean room and kind employees! One of the best free breakfasts I have ever had! This Best Western feels safe and comfortable, it has easy access to the main roads and I will stay again!
Easy place to find, right off the highway. Check-in was fast and friendly. The property was 4 years old and still felt new. The rooms were adequate in size and well laid out. The bath was a little small but very clean. It also had no assist bars in the shower. The bed felt a little hard and the pillows were fat useless lumps. Breakfast was okay and very well cared for by two ladies. The place had two negatives: the walls were very thin and we could hear a conversation in the next room. Next, the place was located at a "dry exit".......it was necessary to drive 4 miles north to Brazil to get an alcoholic drink. WiFi was a little slow.
My family stayed in this hotel for 9 nights and absolutely loved it. The staff was super friendly and just all around a great experience. The only issue i would say it the 20$ a night pet fee kinda pricey but the staff and room made up for it. All in all a great place.
Terrible service. Dishonest manager. Quoted one rate for our group of 12 rooms and raised the nightly rate 90% when we arrived. Best Western (corporate office) was useless. Do not stay at this hotel. You will be disappointed
Scratchy sheets and towels. T paper like sandpaper. Pillows were hard. Breakfast was good. Choices were normal. Our room shared a wall with the elevator shaft. Very noisy. Seemed to be a nice new hotel. Finishes were very nice. Staff should have notified the ADA room location. Would never have booked the room.
When I made a reservation I was unaware of "Festival" prices which I found out at check out it was DOUBLE what the normal rate was. When I called about it they basically told me it was my fault for not asking. I don't recomend this hotel.
Great hotel with a hot breakfast. Would stay here again. The only complaint I had was that the walls are thin. You can hear everything that your neighbors are doing. Overall great place . It is a newer hotel and the warms were big. Front desk was helpful in any questions you may have.
Hotel was clean, staff was great, breakfast was typical "free breakfast". The only complaint was the mattress. It was very soft, sagging and worn. It felt like I was going to roll off the mattress. I knew the hotel was fully booked so I did not mention it to staff until we checked out.
Stayed here when we went to Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. Hotel is only 3 years old, so everything is still very modern, fresh and clean. Room was very comfortable. Bed and pillows were quite comfortable. Breakfast was very good. They had pancakes, sausage gravy & biscuits, bacon, scrambled eggs. There was yogurt, cold & hot cereals, fresh fruit, bagels and assorted mini muffins. Hotel is just off the interstate. East to get to. There are places to eat nearby. The front desk personnel were very friendly and helpful.
Stayed here for a getaway weekend to Parke County Covered Bridge Festival. Was not too far away. Easy to get to. Is a newer hotel, so everything is still very fresh and clean. Room was comfortable. Breakfast was good.
Actually very well situated for Bridgeton and Mansfield and even Rockville! The hotel is very clean and very well maintained. Couldn't be happier with the free continental breakfast either. Awesome selection and quite tasty! Good choice all around!
We stay every year at this Best Western for the covered Bridge festival. We like the location and the service we receive. The staff is very accommodating and the facility is always neat and clean. We love the convenience of the location and the breakfast is great. You can always count on a good experience
This is a great place to stay. The room is always clean. The breakfast is always fresh. The staff is always friendly, very efficient and eager to help. We received a warm welcome from the manager right at the entrance to the hotel. Best night sleep in a very long time. Beds and pillows are very comfortable. I would recommend this location if you are staying in Brazil Indiana. It is very convenient to the highway.
I brought 43 people to the Best Western during the Covered Bridge Festival and was very pleased with the hotel and service. I would use this hotel again. There are also a couple restaurants within walking distance which is nice (Iron Skillet, Family Table and Subway) Family Table was very good.
We have stayed here multiple times when we travel to the Covered Bridge Festival in Parke County, Indiana. The hotel location is perfect. It is very clean. Breakfast is great. Staff very courteous and helpful. We plan to stay here again next year.
The hotel its-self was great, including the front desk attendant, who check us in. She held her self amazingly, considering she had a line of people wanting rooms or to check into their rooms. Not to mention the telephone constantly ringing. There was another woman behind the desk with Heather,I believe it may have been the hotel manager. This lady didn't lift a finger to help the desk attendant out. Myself and other guests couldn't believe this woman didn't even attempt to help out.. I felt really bad for the Front Desk Worker, and applaud her for keeping herself together and doing a fantastic job. Thank you! Western Driver
This looks like a new or freshly decorated hotel. Room was clean and attractive. Staff at front desk were pleasant and outgoing. Breakfast was very good with a wide range of choices. Our only reservation was that our room on the first floor was noisy. Ordinary steps and movements by the people in the room above us could be heard clearly through the ceiling. If you book here, we recommend that you request a room on an upper floor.
Indiana is known for it's covered bridges, so it's no wonder that the Brazil, Indiana Best Western would have 'covered bridge' in the name. We have come to really enjoy the Best Western Plus brand. We are Hilton and Hampton Inn people and one can feel the competition with these hotels; daily fresh sheets, fridge, coffee makers and microwaves are all standard. BW Plus doesn't provide those trendy perfumed pretty-pretty shampoos and soaps, but we bring our own anyway. Soon will be the annual covered bridge festival and if you are here for that give this place a bash. There's antique booths all over this area during the festival; so go get your fill of handmade items and kitsch as well. The people at this hotel are fantastic, wonderful folks. Checkout is 11 am but that can be extended to noon for those wanting to stay up late. Hot breakfast is served from 6 am-10:00 am, different than other Best Westerns which cap it off at 9 am. And they have bacon (YUM!!) as well as the standard sausage, eggs and pancakes. Didn't see a waffle iron but hey, who needs waffles when there's BACON! Book on Best Western Rewards for a veterans discount. Ask about AAA as well as AARP. Another upside? You can tell your friends you went to Brazil!
The Covered Bridge Inn was great. It met all our needs. The staff was terrific. Room was quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was excellent. We would definitely stay there again. The decor of the hotel was beautiful. There was a small exercise room which was adequate for our needs,
I booked this property for one night on our way to another property. I was very pleasantly surprised as I had not stayed at a Best Western for decades. This hotel exceeded my expectations. It is located very close to I-70 but was very quiet. The check-in was friendly and efficient. The room clean and beds comfortable. The real surprise was the breakfast -- well stocked and a cut above the other free breakfasts I have had in similar hotels. I visit this area periodically and would not hesitate to book this property again.
My family stayed here on the way back from a trip out west. It was really late at night when we checked in and we were exhausted. We had reserved two rooms and were happy that they were next to each other on the main floor. We had to use the pull out sofa in one of the rooms. It was brand new and it was quite obvious because someone hadn't even bothered to remove the plastic from the mattress. My kids said the pull out sofa wasn't comfortable. I was surprised that they didn't think it was, since it really hadn't had much of a chance to be broken in already. There were no blankets for the pull out sofa bed so I had to go to the front desk and ask for one. The lady working didn't know what kind of blanket to give me. I told her that all that was in the room for the sofa bed were sheets. She ended up giving me an extra sheet to be used as a blanket. The king bed that we slept on was super hard and hot to sleep on. You could feel yourself sweating into the mattress below. Turns out there isn't any kind of mattress pad or protector on the mattress. The only thing between you and the bare mattress is a thin sheet. We were so tired that we didn't have a hard time falling asleep despite the uncomfortable beds. Breakfast in the morning was adequate, nothing special, just your average hotel breakfast. Overall this place was pretty nice. I really think they should go through all the rooms and remove the plastic from the sofa beds. Someone's little one could find this and bad things could possibly happen. Also, there really should be some kind of barrier on the mattresses before you put the sheets on, over time, these brand new mattresses are going to be full of yuck from people sweating, body fluids,etc..
We had stayed there before and chose to stay there again. It is a surprise to find such a nice facility next to a corn field. The staff is always nice. Rooms are always comfortable and very clean. We will stay there again when in the area.
The walls are not very well insulated. In the evening, I could hear the conversation in the room on one side and when I was utilizing the bathroom the next morning, I could hear the woman on the other side singing.
Nice convenient, quiet hotel with pleasant staff. Rooms clean and comfortable. Walls are thin yet fortunately I had quiet folks on each side of room. Internet not great. It disconnected frequently requiring reconnecting process and waiting for reconnection to complete. Breakfast offerings were minimal and not many healthy options (e.g., boiled eggs, plain non-fat yogurt). No newspapers available either. Would stay again though if in area and can't get a decent room in Indianapolis.
While moving from Pennsylvania to California, my husband and I stopped in Indiana overnight. While the hotel was new and nice, the walls were thin and we could hear our neighbor's TV and talking until 1AM. The Staff were nice. The general area is very uncomfortable for LGBT people. I would not choose to stay here again.
We just stayed one night that was enough. The girl who check us in was not very friendly she had to change some stuff so our friends could get there points for this stay she acted like it was such a bother. The place is new only opened 3 years she said the pool was not finished yet what!!! after 3 years also the keys did not want to work all the time. our friends stool leaked so they had to get towels to wrap around the bottom. she did not call maintenance. The cable was awful a lot of static. would not recommend this place until they worked out the bugs. Oh by the way the walls are very thin could here someone going to the bathroom next door.
Very clean, friendly staff! Offered me an apple when I checked in because I was so hungry! Had no real problems, would stay again! Good value for the money. Had an issue with teh TV reception, and they were right up there and fixed it, no problem!
The staff and accommodations exceeded our expectations! Little things like putting the wall mirror opposite the closet mirror door so we could use them together, and the kindness when we asked for plates and forks to eat the dessert we brought with us. It reminded me of the wonderful experiences we had in Ireland. truly customer oriented!
The only thing makes this joint a plus is it's relatively new. Too many things wrong can't list them all. Requested 1st floor rm on the best western site. No record I was told even tho it's rite on my email confirmation, and 1st floor is reserved for pet "friendly". WHAT? Got 3rd floor. "You don't have to walk far" OK if the elevator would just get here. Guess all those construction guys coming out of 1st floor rooms this morning had pets! EXTREME road noise, had room on the front, huge petro station rite across st. big trucks pulling in and out all nite. If u have to stay here get odd number room toward the east. Otherwise, go on down the road, it's probably cheaper. The room rate for this place is way out of line. Never again!
What a pleasure to find this great motel in Brazil, ID! Don't know what we were expecting from a town we'd never heard of, but what we got was a really clean, nice motel with a friendly staff, nice mattresses, breakfast -- an oasis to a traveler. Also, a great family restaurant within easy walking distance. The fish dinner was great!
We were very satisfied with this hotel. It was very clean, our room was comfortable and attractive and breakfast was above average with scrambled eggs, bacon and Activia yogurt instead of cheap artificially colored yogurts. I saw employees constantly cleaning. We ate in Brazil at Pappy's which had excellent food for a great price. All in all, we had a quiet night's sleep and left full and content.
This was a very clean, friendly, and accommodating hotel. Our brief stay here was extremely pleasant. We will definitely stay here again if the occasion arises. If our trip doesn't require us to pass this way again, we will use a Best Western wherever our trip takes us.
Although our sleep could have been better, we feel very much at home at Best Western Hotels. The staff are friendly, the breakfast is adequate, often there is laundry and LAN internet connections, pools and Business Machines, plus exercise equipment. The Value is there and we're sticking with BW and BWP as much as we can!
Excellent motel. Very good breakfast, with pancakes rather than the same old waffles that other chains offer! We had planned to stay at Drury Inn. They were full, and recommended this Best Western. Glad they did! It worked out very well, and was just as nice as Drury.
This hotel was amazing. It was very clean, very comfortable, and the staff was great! The breakfast was good, the beds and pillows are so comfortable. We can't wait to stay at this Best Western again when we come back to Indiana. Perfect place and a great price.
I found this hotel near Terre Haute when I saw all of the inexpensive hotels were full or had bad reviews. This looks to be a pretty new hotel, so of course it was well kept. We only stayed one night, so I can't give a good long term review. The front desk was friendly, the room was of good size, and the bed was comfortable. The only complaint was no pool, but this appeared to be a hotel aiming at business travelers, so pools probably aren't high on the list of needs. The breakfast was also only OK, as the selection was limited.
nice place to stop and rest your body after driving all day. stopped and checked if they had rooms, nice place, breakfast in the morning. rooms were clean and comfortable. staff told us were to goa and have dinner. Very nice people!!!!
We stayed here on our way out west, and heading back home, we tried it again. Great hotel if making a road trip. They don't have a lodging tax which is nice. Place is clean, rooms are roomy, staff is friendly, Parking right out front. Breakfast has just what you need. It's budget, so no complaints.
Clean rooms and lobby, quiet halls and rooms, and comfortable beds.Polite people at front desk and in the maid services. I Would recommend to any one. Easy access, plenty of parking, and nice places to eat in the area. Easy access to gas as well.
When we are on road trips we usually stay at Best Westerns because of the rewards benefits. This one in Brazil, Indiana rates a triple plus in our book. Everything about it: comfort, cleanliness, service, is entirely above standard. Location is not near any big tourist area, but it is right off of Route I - 70. We highly recommend it.
Booked a room at the BW Covered Bridge hotel on our way to Indianapolis for a Vette show. I knew when we walked in the lobby we had book the right hotel. It was so clean that I asked if it was new and the lady at the desk said it was almost 3 years old. The next morning when we went down stairs for the complimentary breakfast there was wiping everything down. If you want clean stay here !!!
This is a good hotel -- modern, clean, friendly, decent breakfast buffet, etc. Our only issue was arising in the morning to find there was no hot water for the shower! Eventually it came to light that there was a problem with the hot water heater. But to their credit, the hotel apologized and gave us back a portion of what we paid for the inconvenience.
Very nice value hotel in the middle of a truck stop exit off 70. No reason to stay more than one night. Better places in town (Terre Haute). Free Breakfast remincent of Army K Rations (which is to say okay but could certainly be much better or much worse). Very Comfortable Bed. Low shower Pressure . Very Clean throughout.
The hotel presents itself like it just opened last week. Everything appears brand new, except the staff....they work together like seasoned veterans. They took much pride in the facility and the surrounding area....providing information on local restaurants. Great Job
We stayed on our way home from a reunion. Had the ADA room on the first floor. It was wonderful, except that the shower mist went onto the floor which then was very, very slippery. Other than that one thing, this facility is very nice. Bed is comfortable, a/c worked well, breakfast was good and we even did some laundry in the guest laundry. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Overall, it was a very nice stay.
I could not have been more pleased with our stay. We only spent one night while attending a wedding but our room was beautiful and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable and everything in the room was in working order. The staff was welcoming and sincere and the complimentary breakfast was excellent. Would definitely recommend!
My team has stayed here on two different occasions and enjoyed both trips immensely. The accommodations are extremely clean and the staff is incredibly helpful. We travel a lot and will definitely be coming back.
Clean rooms. Nice people. Not much to eat unless you like gas station food. The people are nice. I felt safe. The decorations were nice. Internet Wi-Fi cable. Easy to find off the highway. Easy to get off and on the highway. Not much parking unless there were some around back.
Clean common space and a fair breakfast. The rooms are comfortable and clean. It was a bit noisy. Three floors with an elevator. The staff was busy during down time with cleaning the common areas. Good parking area. Close to Pilot truck stops. Would stop here again.
For being in the middle of nowhere, this hotel was certainly overpriced for what we got. No pool, yet they have been in business for 3 years. Where other BW in the 50 mile radius were priced in the $75-$90 range, this one was $112. The room smelled of old socks and the bathroom had not been cleaned thoroughly. Bed was moderately comfortable. breakfast ok.
We were traveling from Tennessee to Illinois and stopped here. It is a newer hotel, clean, beds were comfortable and a good breakfast. It is right off the highway but no road noise. There are several gas stations nearby which was very convenient. I would stay here again.
We are Best Western loyalty members and this is one of the best hotels in which we have stayed. It is newly built with spacious rooms. It is the second time we have stayed in this hotel during the past two years. It was not in our GPS so we entered the Family Table Restaurant in the GPS for direction which is within walking distance of the hotel and serves excellent homemade meals at reasonable prices. The hotel is reasonable priced and we would stay there again. Gas stations available at this site as well.
Once we read the favorable reviews, we pushed on an extra 90 miles to stay at this hotel along I-70. Both on the phone, at check-in & checkout, Aires, was friendly, welcoming & helpful. She immediately took care of a minor concern in our room. We had a restful stay, an ultra clean, updated room & delicious breakfast. The Midwest hotel coupon book rate of $74.99 was accepted & only one small sales tax! Highly recommended hotel when traveling anywhere near Terre Haute or Brazil, Indiana.
The room was very clean. Staff was kind and friendly. Would stay there again. We always stay at Best Western whenever my wife and I travel. I always get a room at the spur of the moment as I do not want to be tied to a destination and Best Western always has provided us with a room.
if you are a club member the hotel doesn't live up to plus rating, heaven forbid you try and save limit on your credit card and want to pay cash. employees poorly trained for check in if it isn't the norm and slow if it is. will drive to next exit next time, rate doesn't justify location.
GREAT EXPERIENCE: Very clean Hotel, great helpful staff, extremely comfortable neat room. WONDERFUL STAY We do highly recommend this place to anyone traveling through Indiana & this is way better than staying in Terre Huate, not that far away
After a long day of driving, and all hotels in Terre Haute being booked, got back on the highway and the next exit had the Best Western Plus, and it was an excellent choice. I would definitely return. Rooms were comfortable, breakfast was very good and staff were friendly. And only one tax on the room which is awesome. Will definitely stay there again when I am on the road.
Needed a place to stay on the way home from St. Louis and stopped here. Tammy at front desk was very nice and helpful. Everything was very clean. I liked the bright well lit halls and lobby. Very plainly decorated, almost too white/plain in rooms. But that's minor. Took a shower around 8:00am and water was like warm quickly running out of hot water altogether. Just before I stepped out, the warm water returned. Breakfast bar had a great variety. Pancakes were very good, but very small (they come out of a dispenser which is great, no mess and fresh). A staffer indicated it was a new machine so they still had adjustments to make on size; I would definitely increase the size! No lodging tax which was a bonus! Would definitely stay again, overall good place.
I would stay here again. All staff was very pleasant and accommodating. Clean lobby and breakfast area. Room was clean overall and everything in good condition and working. I had my husband clean the headboards though since you could see the dust on them. Breakfast was eggs, bacon, sausage patties, french toast, yogurt, pieces of fruit, bagels, bread, mini muffins,2 cold and 1 instant hot cereal. Bed sheets were scratchy, not the best quality.
This is a clean motel with a warm feel to it. Lobby is nice, front desk straight a head as you walk in, with the breakfast area to the right. The staff is friendly and helpful, they like working here. Easy to get to off the interstate with gas stations near by The bath rooms are very clean, with everything you need to get refreshed. The fitness room has free weights up to 25 lbs. and good cardo equipment.
We have stayed here 4 times. We travel from Michigan to Tennessee and back, and this place is half way. It's a fairly new build and the rooms are clean and comfortable. We have a mid-sized dog and they are friendly towards her also. We had a small problem one time with the hot water and they made it right with us immediately. Also they have a great breakfast with 2 women who prepare it every morning. I have never had a problem with the staff or anything else. I must have booked at the right time, as I have read other reviews about this place and never had those problems. We will definitely be staying there again.
The fridge in our room was lukewarm at best. Contacts front desk demanded speak to manager but she dodged us ! Come to find out lives there. She not only didn't care but when we did finally run onto her she was texting someone else whole time. Asked for district manager or owner she replied unavailable. I wannaknow how this woman keeps her job.
We recently visited the Best Western on a road trip. I had just finished working over 100 hours the prior week and felt it would be a good idea to stop in the late afternoon. We saw a sign for Best Western and looked up the nearest Best Western on our phone as we have stayed in the past and typically find it a good place to stop on the road. We booked via Priceline. The receptionist asked us if we had a reservation when we walked in and I said yes and gave my name. She only then asked for my license and credit card which I assumed was for incidentals. We went up to the room and in less than an hour realized this was the wrong Best Western. We made a foolish mistake but I tried to talk the manager (I believe ronda?) and asked her why the front desk didn't let us know we didn't have a reservation. I really couldn't follow her line of logic but she explained this was our fault. She informed us, she would talk to higher management and call us that night or the next morning with a final answer as we went to the original reservation hotel that night. A few days passed and we called the Best Western at Brazil and they said a manager wasn't available to talk. We then called the corporate headquarters and amazingly the manager called us within 10 minutes (ronda) and informed us she spoke with higher management and decided no refund would be issued. Ultimately, I like Best Western and this wouldn't stop me from going to another in the future, but good management would have handled this situation differently. Another manager may not have given a refund which I don't find unreasonable, but they would have admitted they made a mistake at the front desk and called the customer back when they said they would. Another concern of mine is that the girl that checked us in kept saying our room number out loud. I informed the manager that the room number is typically circled on the room key card. She simply didn't care. No big deal until your daughter, wife or other female friend is traveling alone and now are perfect targets to have their privacy invaded by the 10 other people in the line. (FYI, new hotel and it was note listed on google maps)
This is a fair priced hotel with exceptional cleanliness and customer service. I was exhausted so pleasantly surprised at how comfortable and clean my room was. Manager on duty and front desk got me registered fast. Breakfast was good, a nice selection.
I found this hotel to be very pleasant. The rooms were clean and comfortable, the staff was helpful, and the location was extremely easy. It was a convenient location and great stop for continued traveling.
I thought this was a nice hotel. I love the decor. Very friendly and welcoming. The staff was there to assist with any problems. They were always friendly too. The breakfast ladies were awesome. They were always on top of getting things done and making sure none of the food was low. Great choice for breakfast! The bed was a little hard for me and the internet was a little slow. Other than that it was great!
We were in town for a cross country meet and ended up booking a last minute availability here. Very conveniently located to the national course if you are coming in for a meet, but not as close to the area's restaurants, etc. The hotel itself was newer, nice and clean and felt safe. Very nice breakfast in the morning and very pleasant lobby space. Only downsides were quite a bit of noise from the hallway (not any more or less than any other hotel in this class) and the check-in was exceedingly slow. Had there been a line, it would have taken an hour! Very pleasant staff though. I would definitely consider staying here again the next time I am in the area.
The hotel itself was nice. However we were booking a block of rooms because our cross country team was racing near by. The manager was terrible to work with in all aspects. She never returned calls, was not organized and made our booking a block of rooms a nightmare. Would not recommend trying to book at this hotel for a large group. Check in took almost 20 minutes per person. I have stayed at many hotels and have booked room blocks for other events and never had a terrible experience like this one.
Rhonda and all of her staff were wonderful! Caring and courteous in every way possible, all the way around. Hotel lobby, bathrooms, breakfast area and rooms were very clean! Beds were soft. Breakfast the next morning was great! Thank you again!!
The hotel is nice and new and located right off of the interstate. The hotel was very busy on the night I stayed and I heard some noise from the hallway, but nothing unacceptable. I stayed here while doing business in Terre Haute which is only about 15 minutes away. Not much in the way of food immediately surrounding the hotel other than a couple of Subways.
good hotel, nice staff, clean and reliable service manager, Rhonda excellent, new staff great but could use a bit more polished interaction with guests, even if conversation needs be scripted, it should feel more personal.
Just a trickle of hot water in the shower on the first day....absolutely no hot water on the second day. Hotel did not try to compensate...and they were not even at CAPACITY, so I am unsure what the problem was with the hot water.
I have stayed at several hotels in this area. This one is the best one by far. The facilities were very clean and neat. The continental breakfast was great. The staff very helpful and accessible. I will definitely stay here again.
Great hotel. Great location. Staff is wonderful. Very friendly and helpful. When you walk into the hotel the staff is waiting to check you in with a big smile on their face. The rooms were very clean. Breakfast was great. Nice selection. The managers are very good leaders and the staff followers their example. I would highly recommend this property. Check out went quickly and smooth.
I have stayed at your hotel two times, I feel your prices a way too high during special local events. It does not seem right to punish those travelers that are not coming for the event that made you raise your prices. I was five one price for the 3rd night and then they charged me more when I can to sign the receipt.
I am a trucker and never do this but I'm from N.Y. and had several hard knocks on my trip and stopped unexpectedly. It was morning and the woman at the desk Polly or Holly was a God send! She said full nite before and rooms not checked out but asked me to wait a second. She picked up some kinda radio and talked to someone and anyway a short while later I had a room! This trucker got ome much needed 'rest. My bed was wonderful as well. I slept like a baby! Thumbs up!
This hotel goes above and beyond in cleanliness and friendliness. Manager is superb! Rooms are comfortable and look brand new. The staff are always concerned that you are having a good stay. Across the street is a wonderful restaurant called the Family Table. Food is homecooked and wonderful!
Very clean spacious room. Walls pretty thin though. Didn't have breakfast there and the internet seemed a little slow. Overall very nice. Staff was excellent and let us stay on the ground floor even though it was for pet friendly and ADA use. Seemed to have been recently remodeled.
We could have driven back to Ohio, but after 2 weeks traveling & visiting in OK & TX we needed to call it a day & get an early meal & bed time! Best Western Plus hotels have never disappointed us...pleasant staff, squeaky clean & well maintained rooms. Breakfast was fresh & HOT even 30 minutes before shutting down.
First time staying at this motel. Everyone was great, rooms where nice, clean, easy on/off of highway. I always like to stay at a Best Western. There was a great place to eat it was great price, lots of food. forgot the name but the had menu there. It was quiet there too.
We stop at this hotel on a trip to Missouri for a wedding. The motel was new. Had nice rooms and the staff was friendly. Just off I70 on SR59. Breakfast was good. They had the normal you get at hotels, plus they had eggs, bacon, and sasage. I like this type of breakfast. We had a burn out light bulb in the bathroom, went down to the desk to get a replacement, the desk person said they would get it replaced. Well next morning I layout the burn out bulb on the bathroom counter for the maid. I will stop here next time I'm in the area.
This location provided excellent accommodations, including an excellent hot breakfast with a variety of items; no need to "eat out". The staff has treated us so kindly. It is located near enough to Terre Haute IN to permit visits there, if one desires.
