The worst hotel experience I have ever had. The toilet didn't flush. The water didn't work. The threshold to the door was missing and someone had attempted to screw something to the old floor. The bed made us itchy and we had to wear clothes to sleep. The neighborhood was terrible. The room was not habitable. Can't believe Best Western would put its name on this one. Go elsewhere.

HAPPY Friendly staff, modern and well decorated lobby, and fantastic view from the room! Reasonable continental breakfast. SAD - Shower drain was partially clogged. Who likes standing in grey water? - Elevator under repair. Who likes carrying luggage up and down stairs? - Fitness room under repair. Who likes being out of shape? - One cockroach kill. As someone familiar with the island, the location is quiet and convenient to stores, restaurants, and airport. Staff are extremely friendly, rooms are comfortable, clean, has a rooftop pool, nice gym, and the bed is extremely comfortable! For the price, definitely worth it!

We loved staying at Surestay for our family summer staycation. The daily breakfast was delicious and we enjoyed the roof top swimming pool with the beautiful view of the airort runway. #thankful

Surprisingly good. From fluffy pillows to a comfortable bed it was above expectation. Looks like a renovation was done recently because I stayed there in the past and it did not leave a positive impression back then. There is a 'grab and go' breakfast included. It is super processed and best to not grab it - just go. If you don't have a car there are restaurant options nearby. All considered it is a smart choice at a very reasonable price. My flight into Guam was delayed one day due to mechanical trouble. I had a prepaid reservation. I contacted their agent and he moved the dates with no charge. In my experience that is rare and so I'm pleased to offer a grateful thanks.

We booked a two bedroom but when we arrived there was a lot of confusion about what's on the website and what's at the hotel. Front desk and Manager were helpful and apologetic about this. we ended up with two separate rooms and my room was renovated so no mold or water damage. my only con about the room was the balcony door were not closed at the top (about a 9/16" gap) so geckos came in for a visit. the 2nd con was the shower mount was near vertical so the water shot over my head and I had to balance the head on the mount to get it to be in a normal position. Room was made up about every 3 days. Water was only supplied the 1st day Coffee was in the lobby and when it was fresh, it was pretty good. Breakfast was a sandwich, juice box, and Nutra-grain bar in a to go box. we ate it for lunch at work so that was good. Staff are very friendly and over all it was a huge improvement from Jan 24 when I stayed there. like night and day.

The room was clean and the bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly and helpful. The price was affordable and because I wanted to be further away from downtown but still close enough to all the local amenities, the location was great. Close to the airport and grocery stores. I would stay here again.

Where to start., cheap for reason. 4 nights. first room toilet did not flush. New room, same issue. Kitchen down, so First day breakfast, baloney sandwich in a bag. No water at all day one, not good after a sweaty day in Guam. did not clean room day 1. day two, only made bed, no refresh of coffee, or cleaned anything else. Shower was a dribble of water. pool was ok, but that's it

The hotel is under construction for remodeling. The sign in front of the hotel was barely visible from the road. The airport shuttle doesn't start until 0730 and costs $25. I had an early flight so took a cab which was $35 plus tip for about a four mile ride. The room was fair except the bathroom where the hot water never came and the shower head barely dribbles. The toilet is mounted too close to the sink and there is also a sharp edge on the counter to brush your hand against as your operate the flush handle.

Many services are not advertised correctly or not even available. Even staff knows. Poor follow-up on request for items or inquiries. Would not stay or recommend staying here.

Stayed at the SureStay one night. Early morning connecting int'l flight. Smelly room. Lost power in middle of night. Intermittent Wi-Fi. NO hot water for shower in morning. Check-in woman wouldn't give me a bottle of water after a 7+ hour international flight. This place is on the do-not-stay list!

First off they claim a shuttle service from airport, what they won't tell you is it's 25 dollars each way. Not listed anywhere on website, they also didn't have the shuttle running so they just called a taxi for me. Total bath and switch They also claim they have a breakfast one wasn't provided during my stay. Room was clean but floor was not mopped, the toilet was constantly running and they said they couldn't fix it during my stay. Shower didn't have constant hot water and room was in disrepair with exposed electrical outlet.

We stayed here four nights on the inbound and outbound flights to/from Palau. While this is a frills option. It is not a resort or "vacation" hotel; it is close to the airport and serves the purpose for a stopover. The hotel has some areas to improve, but I will stay again when I am in Guam. Guests can overcome the areas to improve with a little vigilance. Here is the need-to-know information. Our flight from ICN arrived at 10 PM, and our flight from Palau arrived at 6:30 AM. There was no airport shuttle. The cab cost of $50 for the 15-minute ride on both trips. There was no airport shuttle from the hotel to the airport. However, the hotel can arrange a cab for $25. However, this wasn't easy. On our return trip for example, I asked three times for a cab confirmation to the airport. Each time, the desk person said, "No problem. We have it arranged." Then, when we were ready to leave, there was no cab. The lady behind the desk made several calls but could not secure a ride. She did save us in the end. If you need a ride to the airport, you must stand there while they make the call or book it yourself and be prepared to pay ~$50. The hotel is not near any restaurants, etc. We chose to rent a car from the hotel for $64 inclusive of taxes and not use taxis. This was a good deal. It was cheaper and more convenient. It is easy and quick to travel anywhere on the island with a car. The Wi-Fi was excellent, the rooms were fine, and breakfast (7 AM – 9 AM) was adequate, although the hot food was not super-hot. The water was hot in the room, the toilets flushed, and the rooms were clean. The rooms have a fridge and a microwave. Another area to improve was the elevator. It wasn't working. The people behind the desk said "we turned it off." We had two dive bags and carry-ons. The hotel does not provide people to help you with your bags. It was up to us to port our bags. Check-in needed to be more convenient with paperwork. Be prepared to spend a few minutes signing forms stating you won't smoke, damage the room, etc. The hotel has an excellent view of the airport. The hotel is adequate and does the job. I will definitely stay at this hotel again. Just be vigilant.

I'm extremetly disappointed about this hotel. Customer Service is terrible and when I contacted the property about a charge that was made in my credit card they ignored me and never resolved the issue. I been dealing with Best Western Customer Care and they contacted the property and spoke with “IDA” but again, nothing has been resolved in weeks. Never again !!! I will never stay here anymore!

Manager and Staff are very friendly and understanding. Being in this situation I am in, displaced by disaster, I am unable to make due payments and the Manager Ms. Michelle and staff, MS. Sherry,( very sweet lady), MS. Aida are really patient and understanding. No pressure about leaving the premises as i have explained my situation with Manager Ms. Michelle. I couldn't ask for a more better and understanding company or business. I am ashamed to be here knowing I have to pay to stay but I applaud and give all the stars to these wonderful people here at SURESTAY HOTEL. I would recommend this place to anyone. The place is clean and decent, support and accommodation is there as well. Thank you Management and Staff. God Bless You all!

I stayed at the Sure Stay Guam Airport with my son on a layover to Hawaii from Japan. Check in was easy and the lady at the front desk was very nice. Soon after check in, we noticed the water stopped running. There was nothing at all. I went to the front desk and there was a male employee. I told him there was no water and he said it happens but it will come back. We went out and returned later that night and still no water. I had bottled water so used that to bathe. The next morning we had to check out early to get our flight home. Fortunately the water was back. I realize Guam is recovering from the recent typhoon so do not fault the hotel (I stayed in other hotels without problem). It was not a good stay. AC worked well, TV wasn't working. WiFi was okay. Not much around the hotel so a car is needed.

Checking in was okay for my husband that was traveling alone. Next day calling front desk Ms. Charity answered the phone and was very helpful when I told her about my husbands condition. She went above and beyond in help direct my husband to moms and pops store just close by to buy sim card. After help with ordering food, input apps that we can order food much easy also input wifi on all technology. Really appreciate her help. Let there be more Ms. Charity at front desk.

Receptionists are so friendly. They allowed me to check in early so i can rest. Location is near to the airport, u can see planes so close while taking off. The room is neat and tidy. It feels homey. The downside is, it's quite far from commercial establishments. There r few restaurants nearby though.

I found my new home away from home, I have never felt so welcomed. The staff were amazing, friendly and everything a great working environment should be like, i enjoyed the team work so much. I wanted to join it, but they look like they are one unit. DEFINITELY recommending.

I had a wonderful experience at the SureStay by Best Western Guam Airport South. The rooms were clean, very comfortable, and the staff was very accommodating, kudos to miss Sherry Soliva, she was very consistent with checking on their guest's needs. They went over and beyond to help make my stay enjoyable and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Guam.

The hotel staff are very accomodating especially Ms Sherry Soliva. She is nice and very responsive to the needs of the guests. The hotel is very clean and safe, however it's far from other restaurants. In general, my whole stay in the hotel was really a great experience!

Comfortable rooms, very clean, friendly staff, and didn't feel like a budget hotel. Compared to other similar properties located in Tumon (the hotel district), this hotel is a better value. You're also near the airport, restaurants, and convenience store.

There was red ants in the Bathroom and cockroaches. The hardware in the bathroom is ghetto. The hot water kept turning cold during showers.. There was only one roll of toilet paper and no wash clothes my whole stay. I was told I had to pay for my breakfast which was supposed to be complimentary with each morning. Housekeeping was in my room when I had put the please do not disturb sign on the door and when I asked why she was in there she said management told her to come up into my room but she looked like she was up to something because she looked like she was nervous. This was not worth the money I paid.

You need a car to go anywhere. The price is inviting but then you realize it's infested with bugs, our hot water wasn't even working thankfully Sherries fixed it for us the next day. The room smells like mildew and the clean linens requested had stains. -_- the curtains had obviously never been cleaned they had various fingerprints of all colors and shades. The roaches really are a huge problem so we left early. They were rampant.

Definitely recommend this hotel if you are overnighting before taking a flight the next day. They charge for the shuttle, but it's way cheaper than a taxi. I took a taxi to the hotel because I didn't want to wait, $30. A one way shuttle $15. And they charge the same amount to go to a restaurant (there is only a KFC within walking distance). The staff was super friendly. Being a BW rewards member, I was able to get an unexpected upgrade on check-in. Bonus! Thanks SureStay for a great stay!!

I had the unfortunate opportunity to stay in this hotel while on a business trip to Guam. There are inadequate desk accommodations to comfortably work in the room. There is a 4 gallon hot water tank for the room I was in. That is not a long shower. The breakfast was Indigestible which featured baked beans as a morning meal option. Plus the dining area was filthy. I only ate there once. 22 usable parking spaces for a hotel of at least 80 rooms

My first time in guam and i book to sure stay hotel for 5days last november. 2019 the staff is very friendly its easy to ask somethhing if i needed.the rooms is clean the wifi is very fast.the breakfast its ok. the front desk abby is very helful and the 2 chambermaid as well is very friendly. My only concern is the coffee, sugar and toilet tessue its not for us to everyday using.I always call to front desk to ask im really ashemed to asking everyday. if its okay to put more coffee, sugar and toilet tessue specially if you stay for 5days. But total in all its excellent and i definitely recommended your hotel.and i will stay again if i'm coming back to guam. thank you and good luck God bless you all.

While they seem to mean well, they miss the mark in too many areas to ignore. Extremely slow checkin at 2am then gave us keys to an occupied room? The in-room coffee and shampoo was never renewed. One serving for 5 nights? The shower barely worked. The people were nice enough, but overall the experience was poor.

The room is basic but clean and neat. The hotel seems to have been recently remodeled. Check in was quick and easy. The shuttle is extra charge. Although I ordered it ahead of time, it did not pick me up at airport as scheduled.

My mom and I stayed at Surestay Hotel in Barrigada. The staff are very accommodating. It's a good hotel for a good price. Definitely a good place to stay if you wish to save your money but still get comfort and high speed internet.

You can easily tell that the staff at this hotel are eager to please. All very friendly and attentive. The internet was exceptional for free wifi. The staff were always asking if everything was okay and had a smile on their faces. The breakfast was simple, but appreciated. For the price, I'd definitely stay here again. It is very near to the airport runway. If you are a light sleeper, you would want earplugs. I really enjoyed watching the flights take off and land, though. Guam is very expensive, but i would definitely recommend if you are traveling to Guam on a budget.

Some staff was very polite and courteous and others could use a hospitality class. Breakfast was a joke. Location was good. Ms. Cora was so friendly and sweet. She went above and beyond doing her job and taking care of our room, she did a great job!

This is my second time staying at this hotel this year. The staff is always amazing and makes you feel like it is your home away from home. They are very personable. The elevator was being repaired while I was there and they carried my luggage to my room. They also gave me a fruit basket and did my laundry for free as a way of saying thank you for being understanding due to the elevator being out of service. I will recommend this hotel. It is not the Marriott or the Hyatt but the staff as well as the cleanliness of the hotel makes up for this.

Excellent complimentary breakfast. Awesome rooftop swimming pool needs a little work. Great staff and customer service. Like the complimentary newspaper. Parking a little tight. Rental car service on site.

One of the cheapest hotel we found in Guam for a day use. The room was clean, but had view (no window) But the receptionists were very nice. The hotel is located behind the airport, but you don't here the noise.

had another great stay in June 19. super cold a/c if u want to blast it, good room wifi, great staff and location. check out the chinese eatery beside it. breakfast was ok..toast some fruit..they used to have eggs and rice but no more, or not the time i was there. not a deal breaker for me. i will stay again

Accommodations were great. Staff was always helpful. In fact on my last day, I was turning my rental car in when I ran into the hotel's shuttle driver who told me I left my computer bag in my room. He saved me a few thousand dollars when some would have just taken my things. Lucky for me this man was honest.

Overnight stay during my connection flight the next day to my final destination. I was impressed with the serviced I received from your friendly and accomodating hotel staff. I can tell they love doing their job. I travel a lot and stayed in hotels It was my first time staying at Surestay. Now I know that you guys are competitive with everything. Free shuttle airport transport and free breakfast was definitely was the biggest attracted me the most staying in your hotel besides the lication near by the airport. Thank you for my pleasant experience. I will surely Highly recommend this hotel to all my friends and clients in Houston and friends all over the world. In the event they need a place to stay in Guam .:)

Stayed here just one night while in transit home from Saipan. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Prior to my stay, I was not able to locate transport to and from the airport and the hotel. There was no email address to this hotel, which I suggested they have posted with Best Western and on the hotel web site. Shuttle service is available through the hotel at a fee, cost less than taxi.

No working ac in 2 rooms no hot water un 1. Mx was no help in fixing and tried to tell me it was my fault tgere was no hot water. Stray dogs all atound a dump area. Barking all night.....breakfast consisted of a peice of fruit and toast with some nasty oatmeal and tang juice.....due urself a favor and stay far away from this sh$th@/3.....

My room is quiet. The bed and pillows are so comfortable! Breakfast is good. The employees are very friendly! Best of all, when I look out my window in the morning, I see a row of palm trees. I love the warmth and greenery of Guam!

The Staff and owner are genuine, caring, down-to-earth and very support and understanding. You will enjoy the Management as long as you ask and let them know what you need especially for a very large group.

Nelisa and Leonard were very helpful. Leonard was able to provide information the Restaurants and Local attractions on the island. Nelisa was always had a smiling face when I entered the hotel. Being so far away from home, that makes a world of difference. Coming from the South, I appreciated the hospitality I was shown by all of the hotel staff. I had a minor issue with my water not getting hot in the shower and they jumped right on it to make sure it was fixed by maintenance. I really enjoyed my stay with them. If and when I return to Guam, I am going to bypass the Hilton and Marriott; and stay at the Surestay Best Western hotel.

The hotel staff very friendly and accommodating. The rooms are very clean and the aircon is cold. Shuttle service provided for far less than the local taxi services. The only reason I rated the location as average is because it is not close to the beaches and next ti the airport runway, BUT the beaches aren't far and the runway didn't bother me. For the price, it was a great stay.

I booked the trip directly and when I arrived (which was very late) I was assigned to a room that was not what I expected. The next morning the staff (Abby & Aida) quickly moved me to the appropriate room when I came down to ask an unrelated question. I stayed for about 10 days and all of the staff (from Housekeeping, Front counter, maintenance etc) were friendly and made sure my stay was enjoyable. When I needed some copies made...not an issue. If I wanted something for the room no problem, very helpful staff. I admit the Hotel is not a 5 star hotel as compared to the mainland but if you want a good value for money I would recommend this one. You have much more of the feel of the local community than staying with the Tourists in the Tumon Bay area.

The hotel staf worked to keep the hotel very clean. That being said, there was still the ocaisional ant or fly saying hello. Good enough for the price, comfortable, cleaner than most. Anytime an airplane ramped up its engine to take off at the airport it felt like it was right there. Walls were paper thin and the people in the room next to me seemed to always be up making noise and talking around 4am. If most other hotels and resorts are booked up, this one will do. WiFi was good until it dropped for 10 min each morning and afternoon. 24-hour laundromat (with WiFi), KFC, and McDonalds near by. Be sure you get a rental car if your staying more than 1 night. They have an airport shuttle. Microwave and fridge in the room.

Great place I've stayed here couple time affordable and nice location friendly front desk worker.. newly renovated now compare to before.. clean room and balcony is big enough.. I recommend it for others

Was on an extended stay trip for business and was able to book a one bedroom suite, with small kitchenette, for a monthly rate - which was quite affordable. Facility is outdated but well-kept and clean. There were some remodeling activities occurring, during my stay, and sometimes the work continued well into the evenings and other times early morning on the weekends - which was a bit annoying at times. But, the upgrades are needed and it's making the facility more-appealing. Air conditioning is critical and the suite had spit units in both the living area and bedroom which maintained a comfortable temperature. Management and Staff are attentive to customer needs and very friendly. Housekeeping services are above average, as compared to some of the other area hotels, and they pride themselves on keeping things neat and tidy. Parking space is a bit tight, but there was always an available spot. Not much around, within walking distance, but plenty of amenities within a short drive. A special thanks to Mr. Steele, the manager, as well as Ms. Aida, Ms. Nel, Ms. May, Ms. Ara and Mr. Matsuda - all are very nice to deal with, friendly and make it a point to insure customers are well cared for and requests are met with a smile.

I stayed for 2 nights. I got the Deluxe King room, supposed to fit 3 people. It was pretty small for the size. It was clean which I liked. The fridge wasn't as cold and my ice cream melted in the freezer part. Free Breakfast 6am to 8am. There was toast, arrizcaldo, & coffee in the Lobby. I rented this room for 2 friends and myself. There was only 2 towels. I asked for house slippers and there was none. I got stuck in the elevator the first day, but they were so fast in helping. Thank you Lord. I dont mean to be negative, just being honest about my experience. Staff was friendly.

Only stayed one day on a 18hr layover. Clean hotel and the staff were friendly Hotel very outdated but it was clean and the staff were friendly and very close to the airport What more do you want? I did not check out the pool but I bet it was nice since you were in Guam

Location is towards the back of the airport but a taxi ride will take about 15 min and 5+ miles because you have to loop all the way back around to the hotel. It's in an industrial area without much around, so a car is definitely recommended. It was the better looking choice out of 3 after we were stranded at the airport due to flight issues. Rooms are pretty small and quite old, but seems to be clean enough. I think this use to be a Days Inn, as it had some Days Inn labels somewhere around the room, so imagine a Days Inn/Motel 6 type but about 30+ years old. Not recommended for vacationers as it's nowhere near the beach. You can get at least close to beach side for just a little more.
