Nice clean rooms with friendly service. The breakfast was great with a good variety of food to choose from. Check in and check out was very fast. The fitness center was clean and well equipped. The location of hotel is well placed.

"Large Rooms, Great Food"

We were giving a night's stay for an early Christmas gift. We took our family back mid December and check in was a nightmare. Card machines down, wasn't able to locate our reservation. All got sorted out eventually. We got to our room and it was filthy. French fries and chips all over the floor, hair all over the washroom. We were switched rooms and it wasn't any better. We poorly reviewed the hotel and were given a night stay gift certificate. We decided to try again and to our surprise, it was very pleasant! Large room nice and clean, extra pillows and towels, food was outstanding and pool was clean and kids enjoyed the slide. They owned up to their mistake and provided exceptional service

"Awesome customer service"

Held a business meeting with key stakeholders at this hotel. The rooms were clean, spacious with in house catering available, and had all the necessary equipment to conduct business meetings. Management staff were very accommodating to our needs and all frontline staff greeted us with smiles. The sales coordinator was exceptional and did a fantastic job in making our stakeholders feel comfortable and welcome.'And all for a great price. Definitely will schedule future business meetings at this hotel .

It was one of the best breakfasts I have ever seen in a hotel. Very clean and well maintained hotel. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The only negative was the strong smell of chlorine in the pool area. I would recommend to friends and family to stay here.

One-night staycation with kiddo to relax and swim before NYE. Hot tub was closed for repair. No one was working on getting it up and running again. Pool was small and crowded. No bathtub in room so my plan to soak away some of 2022 was ruined. Will call ahead in future to make sure everything is working as it should.

Hello Faria S Thank you for your comments. Indeed our hot tub was out of service. We required some replacement parts but leading into the New Years Holiday, we could not receive the parts required. At our hotel, the majority of our guestrooms provide showers only and therefore no bathtubs. we do have 10% of our guestroom inventory that do offer a tub and shower combination but you do need to reserve those room types. Front desk lady was rude and arrogant Pillow had stain and bathroom was not clean Heating and cooling system was too noisy Compared to other hotels in Manitoba and other provinces, it is disappointing and I would not recommend it

Our stay was kinda outta my ballpark but stayed because it was storming so no choice but to stay a night! For self and my partner was totally outrageous in price $253 was kinda not what I was expecting to pay! Other than that the room are great !

I am not sure what room type you had reserved as this too could have contributed to the higher price. If you are not a Best Western Member, I would encourage you to sign up for the program. "Treating the Grandkids"

The staff was extremely helpful and friendly. Room was clean and nicely decorated. Pool area was well maintained and the slide was fun for the grandkids. Hot tub was great as well. Two tv's in the room is an added bonus as we could watch hockey while the grandkids relaxed with their show. Beds are super comfy!

"Bed bugs"

Bed bugs found in our pillows and bed abd incidents reported to front night staff and he did not accommodate us with a new room and we verbally requested fir a different room and the night staffwould not accommodate us.

Thank you for your email. Indeed a bed bug was found on the bed and later, another one in the room. Where the bed bug was found on top of the furniture indicated it was a very recent arrival in the room. And as you know, bed bugs are brought into a living space by other people and is not an indication of ineffective cleaning procedures. The hotel took immediate steps by placing the room out of service. We brought in a company with a specially trained dog which searches for and indicates the location of existing bedbugs. That is why we know there was a second bug. The room was fumigated by an outside pest control company and left vacant vacant for 5 days to be sure that the room was properly treated. As far as your comment on not having an alternative room to sell, the hotel was 100% sold out. If this was not the case, we certainly could have provided alternative accommodation. Your decision was to leave the hotel and drive home which we understand. You were not charged for that nights accommodation. Steven James

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. You will not be disappointed. It is clean and the location is great. The staff is friendly and can help you with just about anything. They also have a restaurant on site. The food is good and the service is friendly.

Our family gathered for an early Christmas weekend celebration in October, 2022. My husband and I and our family loved everything about the hotel experience which offered clean, and beautifully, and tastefully decorated open concept surroundings; first class food; a wonderful pool and hot tub; friendly staff who were always available and especially comfortable beds. Special thank you to the management and staff for all the TLC; the exquisite decorating of the meeting room in a Christmas theme made our celebration special. We look forward to our next stay! Stayed here with our granddaughter. Stay was great! Hotel including room was spotless. Pool smell was a bit strong in the lobby, but hey! we didn't actually spend time there. A true bonus was that the bathroom in the room must be insulated, as no one heard the flushing while awake.....let alone asleep!

Best hotel ive ever stayed at. Helpful, very very kind staff, exceptionally clean. The staff really helped us. Our weekend didnt go to plan with our truck breaking down and the staff at the hotel let us check out late and helped us get our truck towed after we left so we could get back to saskatchewan. Thanks to Christine at front desk for that, you made it a lot less stressful for me and my husband and we appreciate your kindness and helpfulness!

Been here few times and enjoyed every stay. Rooms are fantastic, spacious, bedding comfortable great night sleep. Complimentary breakfast Buffett one of the best had. Pool is nice. Patio outside by bar. Service great and employees. Cost is reasonable.

Great hotel! Would love to bring my kids next time to use the pool! Breakfast was awesome and so much variety! Room was big a spacious. Quiet room and the bed was like sleeping on a cloud. Felt like a home away from home.

Worst customer service. Ever. I requested early checkin. I was willing to pay the extra $30 for it given my flight arrived at 11am and was early at that. I received a text the night before saying my request was being reviewed and that I'd be contacted if they would need to. I arrived at 11:45am and expected to check in early given I had no further texts from this hotel. Lo and behold, no rooms were ready. I would have appreciated a text or phone call ahead of time, otherwise I would have made alternate afternoon plans instead of waiting at the hotel bar in which I paid for 2 drinks. The front desk agent said she would call when my room was ready. No call. I came back 2 hours later and a different agent said my preregistration was ready. No phone call. As far as I know, the room was ready all this time. Thanks for wasting my time. I won't ever stay here again. I won't ever stay at a Best Western again. I'm here all week if you'd like to call me. Otherwise, worst customer service. Ever.

Came on a buys time hotel is very packed unable to reserve another room as they're booked and unable to accommodate my late check out request. Overall it was just okay stay for a premier rate. Pool facilities is nice.

The staff and and servers for the breakfast were amazingly helpful. The quality and variety of the food was excellent. We were surprised by the fresh omelets served for breakfast. The rooms were spacious and very clean. The server at the desk offered to help me with getting wifi on my phone which I did not have.

"Great hotel, but thin ceiling"

We had a great stay overall. The room was spacious, clean & the bed was sooooo comfy! The breakfast was great and the kids had an awesome time in the pool and on the water slide! … the only downfall … some one above us was running laps in their room until the wee hours of the night and we could hear every step. I would stay again, but would ask for a top floor room.

Very clean, spacious, comfortable room. Wonderful breakfast. Freshly made omelettes. Lots of variety. Good size pool with a water slide!!!! Lots of on-site parking. Staff could be more friendly and engaging. They seemed annoyed at guests.

I like the place very quiet the whole day only little noise you can heard. The sound proofing in the room are very excellent I cannot heard the other beside room and the door is thigh you cannot heard people walking.

This is a very nice hotel. The rooms were nice and big. It was conveniently close to a lot of shopping and restaurants. The staff was nice and welcoming. Breakfast looks like it was a nice set up though I wasn't able to partake.

"Swimming before school starts!"

Kids like to swim but the pool treatment was too strong. Room temperature was unmanageable too cold and warm. Friendly staff. Breakfast was good. Room was clean and no smell. Lots of parking space. Safe to stay and rest.

"The best hotel for small children"

The rooms are extremely clean and I love the fact that the rooms all have flooring! The staff at the front were so caring and welcoming! The set up of the hotel is perfect! I do wish the park king lot was safer as there was a sign on the door saying there had been recent break ins.

That staff was great. Very friendly and helpful! Especially when a situation arose. Rooms were very clean. Food in the restaurant was very good a bit on the fancy side for me! Had a pool area. Like the deck chairs outside under the deck umbrellas! A veery nice lobby to sit in and chill! Nice breakfast program! Pet friendly! Julie my dog enjoyed it!! No airport shuttle though! If you are travelling with a large dog ask Duffys taxi for a privous 5 car might help or book a larger unit through a limo company prebook for early morning flights.

This was the nicest, cleanest hotel I've stayed in. Breakfast was great, staff were friendly, and the pool and waterside were so much fun for our kids. My sister and son used the fitness facility and laundry, which were great.

Helpful staff, great service and very clean. We spent time with family and friends in the room and they were so helpful in cleaning the room when we wanted and anything we needed to make our visit happy and relaxing.

Booked a room for two adults and 4 kids, the agent messed and book a room for 4 , then customer service they will do an investigation, it will take two weeks, in the meantime no resolution, Never again

Hello Mulami Thank you for your comments. I do not know who your made your reservation through for our property. I suspect it was an on line reservation such as what you see advertised on television. At our property the largest rooms offering two queen beds and a queen sofa bed can seep 6 people maximum. We have a limited inventory of these room types. If the room type that you purchased offered less sleeping capacity, I can understand your disappointment. On the comment on an investigation to be provided, I do not know whom you contacted but this is the first I have become aware of your concerns. The hotel was new, clean and great service. The parking was a bit tight at nights but the parking was good during the day. If you needed guest service they responded quickly, great service. The front desk was very friendly.

After entering the entrance, you are greeted with a smile and lots of arm chairs and benches to sit on while waiting to check in due to a line up. I especially, like the cart trolleys but unfortunately when I checked in their was no cart trolleys readily available so the front clerk helped in carrying my excessive baggage up to my beautiful, plush king-size bed hotel room.

I cannot express enough how great my stay was at Best Western Premier Winnipeg East, everything was so clean, organized, rooms were very clean, beds extremely comfortable, large showers, easy to book and to do online early check in. Staff were so friendly at all times. The continental Breakfast was outstanding, be it a hot or cold breakfast there was something to suit everyone's taste. Rooms were equip with microwave, fridge and so much more. I would rate this hotel a 10, and will definitely book again.

"Modern Hotel with Poor Service"

The overall feel and look of the hotel is clean & modern. However I would hope so as the building is new. We did have a few hiccups with service while staying here. We called ahead to ensure our room would be ready. We were promised it was. We then showed up just after 4pm and were told our room was not ready and were made to sit around and wait over 30 minutes. Once we got in the rooms we got ready for dinner and called down for reception to call us a cab. They promised they would. We went downstairs when they told us the cab would be waiting only to find out they had forgotten to call... The pool area was fun. The slide was a hit. The rooms however were hot, no matter how much we tried to turn the heat down. I think the thermostat in the room was busted. The rooms also dont have any darkening blinds or drapes in the rooms so when the sun came up at 5am we were all woken up. Not ideal... Would we come back? Likely not. I dont like waking up at 5am in a hot room with little to no service from staff.

Overall the hotel was very clean and the staff is very friendly. Just found that there was very loud patron's the night we stayed. It was woken up at 3 o'clock in the morning by someone yelling and crying in the hallway. Our room is located right by the elevator so found it very loud, my girls had a hard time sleeping. But overall very well-maintained hotel in very clean. Was very friendly staff the breakfast crew is phenomenal.

Not only did we have options of pancakes, waffles, bacon, toast, muffins, fruits, yogurt, cold and hot cereals but there is also someone cooking fresh made omelettes!! The hotel as always was very clean!! It is more expensive then the other best western hotels. I really do wish they had adjoining rooms.

Had an awesome stay at Best Western Premiere Winnipeg East! Rooms were large, roomy and clean. Hotel staff went above and beyond. Front desk manager Raj helped us with a booking problem that would have cost us $400! He booked a van to take my husband to the hospital the next morning and made sure the morning staff checked on it. The other hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful! The breakfast buffet was awesome with everything you could think of wanting. Even had a cook to make you an omelette with whatever toppings you wanted. All the food was fresh even at the end of serving time. I will definitely be back!!

"Just a stop along the way"

Just wanted a place to rest my head and fill my belly. Front desk staff was pleasant and helpful. The room was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good. Dinner was not an option because of a private function that was supposed to be over at 7 but was extended. The server declared that due to a power outage earlier in the day the point of sale system was not cooperating.

Hotel is immaculately clean, love the decor! We actually went to each floor to check out the colour scheme. Love the breakfast. Unfortunalely we did not have time to try out the pool or workout room, but they looked amazing! Staff were so great, gave us free food when we arrived late, helped with room rate, ensured that we had everything we needed. We will absolutely stay here again, and highly recommend it.

Stayed over Canada Day long weekend, they had a musician, put on a patio BBQ for guests and it was lovely to have family attend. This place goes above and beyond. It is clean, quiet, and is a safe environment. Very friendly staff.

We traveled from NB to SK and our last stop was in Winnipeg. With 4 kids and a dog, it is a challenge to find hotels that have suites to fit us, that allow pets, that have pools (great for kids) AND free breakfast. This hotel has it all. Amazing breakfast, great pool, and wonderful, CLEAN and spacious suites to fit a family of 6 (plus a dog). We will return on our trip home, and look for more Best Westerns along the way back. The only downside is the out-there location, it is not an ideal location if you are visiting Winnipeg, but a great stop-over spot! Perfect to then hit the Highway and skirt the city.

"Fantastic hotel"

We stayed at Best Western Premier Winnipeg East for only 1 night and it was wonderful. The room and the entire experience was over the top. We would certainly recommend to anyone staying in the area so stay there. Although we didn't use the pool, it looked very inviting. There is a nice patio area outside in the courtyard that would be great to relax. It was windy when we were there so that wasn't an option. There was no road noise heard in our room. Good area to take a urban walk. The breakfast was over the top. Made to order omelets. We have never seen that in a breakfast that is included.

The hotel's decorations are pleasing to the eyes. Colors are classy. Hotel is very clean. Staff are helpful. Food was prepared and served in a very hygienic manner. The room was very well laid out. There were a lot of electrical outlets strategically placed throughout the room. The lighting was very relaxing and there was enough furniture. The television set was mounted with the remote control tucked neatly below it.

Very nice clean hotel. Staff was excellent to work with. Only downside was another guest who decided to bath in the pool and wash his clothes afterwards In the public open shower. Breakfast was amazing and the room was clean and very new looking.

"I Was Going to Give a Five Star Rating But........"

I was going to give a five star rating as this hotel deserves it, however, due to housekeeping issues, I will need to rate it as a four star. My wife and I stayed four nights in a 1 king room using our Best Western points; May 26th to 29th. Upon our arrival, we found the hotel to be very nicely laid out, very chic decor, clean, and comfortable - we were very happy to have chosen the Best Western Premier Winnipeg East. We got up the following morning and went downstairs for the superb buffet breakfast, then headed out for the entire day, returning to the room at 4:00 pm; we were shocked to see how our room was so called cleaned by the cleaning staff. The bed was a total mess (very sloppily made and pillows just thrown against the headboard), kleenex box just partially put together after placing a new box of tissue and the box tab left on the counter, and the clean towels just sloppily thrown under the bathroom sink vanity (it looks like they really rushed to get our room cleaned). We spoke to the duty manager the following morning and he was very apologetic and offered a discount to the room, however, we mentioned that we used points for the room payment, and even if we paid cash for the room, we were not looking for anything other than a properly cleaned room going forward and that the staff being informed of the awful job they completed. We returned to our room later that day and it was made up very nicely (the way it should have been). We headed out for the day on our last nights stay and returned to the room at 5 pm (we were going out to a family function for 6 pm and had to freshen up before leaving); we walked into a room that was not cleaned at all. The cleaning staff were down the hall a few rooms away and they heard that I was not pleased that our room was not yet cleaned; one of the cleaning staff (40 to 50ish year old female with a long braided blonde ponytail and glasses) then rudely yelled at me stating that she had cleaned 93 check-out rooms and our room and was going to get cleaned after she finished the check-outs - very unprofessional attitude! We then headed downstairs and waited until 5:30 pm before heading back upstairs to a cleaned room; we had to rush to make our family get-together reservation. The hotel is beautiful; lots of parking spaces, awesome buffet breakfast, well appointed rooms (with the exception of the bathroom - we found it to be very tightly laid out), very clean, bright, very large and well laid out lobby, etc. Although the on site Sherwood's Lounge and Bistro has a very limited food menu, the food is extremely good - we both had the pulled pork sandwich on our first night at the hotel and it was excellent (so, so tasty). We found the waitress we had (young woman - new employee) was very slow, forgetful, and had a lot to learn about making alcohol drinks - lots of room for improvement. Covid protocols are in place, however, many customers were not wearing face masks in the omelet room despite there being a sign to wear one. I want to thank the duty manager for listening to my complaint on Saturday morning and also Mallory at the front desk on Monday morning when we checked out; these are both very professional employees that should be recognized accordingly. Mallory had such a caring listening ear when we spoke to her about our issues; she said she definitely would be letting the manager know of our further cleaning issues.

Former Winnipegers, we have stayed here several times while back visiting family and friends. It's well located with easy access to main arteries in the city. Great breakfast included in the room rate makes it good value for the cost. We frequently choose Best Western Premier hotels when we travel. this is one of the best.

"Take your money and run"

First let's get the hotels restaurant done. Clean and they make a great burger. Nice staff. The free breakfast is pretty basic. Nice touch with the fresh omelette. Now down to the rip off. I booked this room 5 hrs before arrival. When I booked it, it said last one. So we are all in the know, last room right. Upon entering the room it was adequate, clean, big bed as add stated. But here lies the problem. The blinds were half up. Bright lights from the parking lot. The electric switches only blinked and the blinds did not close. So off to the desk. They told me that they knew the blinds did not work and the maintenance guy was going to come in the next few days. I told them the parking lot lights were quite bright. I asked for a different room. But as previously stated they were sold out. So I asked why they booked out such a room. The reply was deer in headlight. Just a stunned look. I asked if they knew about the blinds why did they rent it. There reply was again, deer in head lights. I was upset now and asked if business was so bad that they had to make every buck possible, wait for it. DEER IN HEAD LIGHTS. Not a here's a free gift card for the restaurant. Or a discount coupon for next visit. So needless to say. If your looking for a clean place to lay your head with a I don't give a damn attitude this place is for you. As for me my couple hundred bucks.can do a lot better else we're.

Another great stay!! I spend an exorbitant amount of time away from my family in Ontario due to work....however I am always made to feel comfortable and st home here in Winnipeg at this Best Western Premier hotel on Regent Ave. I have brought my whole family a few times and they get a comfortable feeling knowing that they are coming here where they are treated so well. We arrived around 4:00 on Friday afternoon to check in to the Premier for our first time. We were greeted by Joey at the front desk who, though I have stayed at many Best Westerns many times, gave me the absolutely most wonderful thank you for being a Best Western Rewards Member. Our check in was fantastic and Joey told us about all of the amenities available at the hotel. We were here to watch badminton provincials so we did not have a lot of time at the hotel. This is a beautiful property, tastefully decorated and well planned. Carpet is minimal so everything seems extra clean. The beds and pillows were wonderful and we had a restful, quiet night. Their continental breakfast is the best I have seen. They have two staff serving the eggs, hash browns, bacon and sausage. There is the usual coffee, juice, toast, etc. And they also have staff making omelettes to order. Fantastic. This is without a doubt the friendliest hotel staff I have ever encountered. And that says something. From our welcome by Joey at the front desk to the staff at the breakfast. My wife went through the breakfast line after I did. When she went through there was a man working the line. He asked one male client how his stay was. The client said it had been ‘okay'. The staff member was quick to ask why it was okay and was there anything the hotel could do to improve his stay. I was beyond impressed. I discussed this with my wife. She said the staff member's name tag said he was the hotel manager! The hotel manager is working the continental breakfast line to get a first hand opinion of how the guests are doing. I can't say enough about this hotel. I recommend it as highly as I can. I don't give five stars ever but this would get 4 and a half. I will stay here again. Worst service I have ever received in a hotel..never again any bestwestern there was mold all around the lip of the under mounted bathroom sink . "Poor employee Joey"

Check-in was 4pm, we got there at 3:58 and there was such a long line. The guy at the front desk (Joey), was all alone dealing with all these people by himself. Poor guy. I felt so bad. He was being very kind to everyone even if they were giving him a hard time. Later that evening, I went to go get snacks and he was still the only guy there! Amazing customer service from Joey.

"Great Hotel & Great Service"

The hotel was always clean, staff was very friendly, always greeted you when you entered the hotel. The staff provided great customer service, the breakfast was great every morning. The room was great and I liked the two TV's in the room and the sitting room, made it feel like a 1 bedroom apartment and not a hotel. Great location, close to the Casino, many restaurants and a 12 minute drive to downtown. Also nice was that there was a beer store next to the hotel.

Had a great relaxing time with the family at this hotel, other than pool area needed some cleaning ,rooms were clean.Breakfast was really good !Had Chef making fresh omelets. Fresh fruit was so good! Staff were really friendly and helpful.

"Good staff, poor amenities"

I brought my son to celebrate his birthday. The room was modern and clean and the staff was professional. The breakfast buffet however was mostly inedible, and the adult swim time was not enforced, so the pool was overrun by loud young children until 11pm. The pool and breakfast were the two reasons we chose this specific hotel, and they were what made our stay disappointing. In addition to no swim time for older guests, the chlorine was so strong that my son (and many others) were having extreme coughing fits. For $180 a night, good staff and comfortable beds just can't make up for the disappointment of the real reasons we chose this hotel.

Hello Melmartin Thank you for your comments. I am surprised at your comment regarding breakfast. This is one of our features that attracts guests to return to the hotel. Our pool was busy through the weekend but we did have an attendant on duty to monitor and control access to the pool. For adult swimmers we do offer an adult only swim time from 11 pm to 12 midnight. "Not Child friendly"

Do not stay with young children. Maintenance staff Miles approached my 4 and 5 year old telling them they were not allowed to use the hot tub. When asked why they were told kids are know to relieve themselves in the hot tub and are generally dirtier. When asked to apologize miles refused. My daughter was obviously upset regarding the comments. Even after making her cry and me suggesting that was an unfair assumption to make, he said “I disagree with you mam”. Unacceptable and completely inappropriate behaviour.

Hello krysteldeslauriers Thank You for your comment. I recall speaking with you in our lobby and apologizing for the unfortunate wording in our associates response. Indeed children are not allowed in our hot tub. The reason is that our experience shows that the children congregate in the hot tub in large numbers which overwhelms our computerized pool sanitization system. We the need to empty the hot tub, refill, treat with chemicals, and reheat the hot tub. All this takes 4 hours in duration with takes the hot tub out of service for the adults. Beds were beyond comfortable, breakfast was amazing, perfect escape from our everyday life! Rooms were clean and very nicely decorated. Staff was extremely helpful. The pool is great with a fast slide! Definitely going back.

"Beyond Fabulous"

This is our second time staying at this hotel this year. Not only is this hotel beautiful, clean and loaded with things to do, the staff are amazing! This week was Spring break and the hotel was at capacity but each and every employee was 110% dedicated to making each guest experience the best it could be. I spent the night in one of their absolutely fabulous rooms with three students from Brazil who had the absolute best time. Between the room, the pool, the work out facility, the breakfast and the service from the entire team and their amazing GM, it is a day they will remember for the rest of their lives. Thank you for your incredible hospitality- we can not wait to come back

"Family friendly hotel, but cold pool and hot tub!"

The hotel room was clean and comfortable, but our pool experience was disappointing! The waterslide was great for the kids, but pool temp was cool. It was so busy we didn't have many chances to sit in the hot tub, but when we finally did it was barely warmer than the pool. We all had goosebumps! Hotel hallway noise was loud at night, but like that at any hotel. The breakfast buffet was really good. We didn't use the fitness area, but it had a lot of equipment and looked really nice.

Awful experience at this hotel. Hot tub never hot. Tv did not work and no one would fix it. Free breakfast was restrictive on how much food you could have. No room service at all. Rude staff. Can not get food delivered to the room Had to call several times to get the room cleaned. Blankets were not in the room for the pullout. Front desk makes you come to get them. Pool area not supervised and other people making the area unsafe for families. 5 people on the slide at the same time, and people walking diwn the slide.

Hello Matt I would like to first apologize for the inconsistent availability of the hot tub. This was used beyond it's design purpose and as a result with so many people occupying the facility, our computerized chemical control system could not maintain a safe balance. WE had to remove the water out of the hot tub and retreat the water. This process caused the hot tub to take up to 4 hours to reach temperature. I do want to challenge you on your comment on the free breakfast. We offer the very best complimentary hot breakfast of any hotel in Winnipeg. Our selections from omelets made to order to scrambled eggs, to bacon and sausage, croissant and other pastries, french toast or another substitute, juices, fresh fruits, and a yogurt bar just begins to describe our offerings. At no time are any of our guests restricted to portions or returning for seconds. We also have room service. Yes, we do restrict outside delivery companies such as Skip The Dishes from going to our guest floors for safety reasons. One final comment Matt, is that this was the first spring break that our hotel has been open as an operating hotel. The sheer volume of demand for families reserving the property put all of our resources to the test. We learned a great deal for next year but we also are extremely proud of all of the efforts of our hospitality to deliver the best guest experience as possible. Steven James

"Poor Management Skills"

Before booking, we called to check on hotel policies regarding covid and there were none other than wearing a mask in the enclosed breakfast room. Upon arrival, we learned we had to schedule 45 minute time slots for swimming. We booked this hotel because between our two families there are 10 kids and the pool area looked nice. The pictures of the pool area are deceiving. It's much smaller than it looks. And having limited access to the pool area for our kids was a deal breaker. (Plus the hot tub is cold.) When we talked to the manager about the changes to the pool area rules, his response was ‘feel free to go elsewhere but you won't get a refund'. The rooms are nice, the breakfast is fantastic, the staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The poor management (and cold hot tub) is what ruined it for us.

Our room was very dirty. I think there was poop on the bed. The place was terribly over-booked for Spring break. The pool was always over capacity and we were often turned away and expected to make a 45 minute appointment. Despite being pet-friendly we were put on the 5th floor.

Disappointing Spring Break Staycation! The hotel was fully booked and the staff were not prepared. Pool is restricted to one 45 minute time slot. Disappointing when we pay good money to stay and the whole point is for the kids to swim and you can only swim 45 minutes. When we did access the pool the water was freezing. Breakfast in the am had long lines and only one manager serving the hot food. Very dissatisfied so only stayed 1 night out of the two I had booked. Management needs to be better prepared and have a better plan to manage the large volume of guests. I would not recommend staying at this hotel for spring break.

Pool was overcrowded and then shut down to any more guests. Sign ups were created on the spot and waits were about 2 hours for a 45 min slot. This would have been fine if it was planned ahead but it was not. Had to ask 3 different people for a 1 hour later checkout so my kids could go to the pool

It was, as a hotel, our first spring break week since we opened without covid restrictions. We instituted pool controls immediately once we saw the heavy use of the pool. These controls insured we met the pool occupancy requirements by the health department while insuring those using the pool had a great experience. We have also instituted measure to call arriving guests to advise them of the spring break pool restrictions. This is my second time staying at the Best Western Premier East in Winnipeg. I travel for business and this is my favourite hotel to stay at. The rooms are spacious, the desk is so long that it allows me to spread out all my work papers etc. The breakfast options are suitable for vegans AND they have added non dairy milk to their breakfast options which was such a pleasant surprise for me. Their gym is super clean, spacious and has everything you need for a great workout. The staff is always friendly and helpful. It is simply the best place to stay in Winnipeg!

The pool was so cold and it didn't appear to have anyone attending to the towels. However, the water slide is a really great future and perfect for the kids. The hotel is pretty but the pillows weren't very comfortable. The staff at the check in desk didn't provide any details when we checked in and this was our first time staying here.

Hotel parking lot was horrible .Needed to shift into 4x4 to be able to get through snow into a parking spot. Cigarrete butts and garbage littering entry ways. Staff rude and unfriendly. Room was good. Breakfast was cold and dry. Use to be so much better. Disappointed.

Very nice, clean hotel and friendly staff. The room was very clean and cozy. Bathroom was a bit small in size but great shower, light up makeup mirror and large fog free mirror. Beds (mattresses) were more on the very soft side. Great breakfast selection.

Hotel was easy to find and front desk and restaurant staff were friendly and helpful. The room was modern, very clean and comfortable. There are other restaurants in the area and a Beer Boutique next door. I would definitely stay here again!

"Room great/rest not so much"

The check in gentleman was awesome, room was great. Continental breakfast was a horrible experience which soured the whole weekend. Mom let her daughter stick common utensils up her nose, sneeze on it, then put it back. When I politely advised the little girl that she shouldn't be doing that (Covid/unsanitary), mom whipped around, and told me not to talk to her fu$&$&ng daughter. No staff around to assist. Ruined the whole stay.

Fortunately the vast majority of Best Western guests are extremely considerate towards each other and of staff. Seems in this case, with one family in the hotel, the young child reflects an upbringing nurtured by her parents and their complete disrespect for those around them. "Best BW in Canada!"

We've stayed at 15+ Best Westerns across Canada and this one is by far our favourite!! This hotel is vibrant, clean & welcoming. Rooms are very clean, breakfast is great, and you have to try the BBQ pulled pork sandwich from the restaurant - so good! Great gym facility and pool. Hot tub is currently drained due to covid which is understandable. Great hotel, professional staff, definitely recommend!

"Fantastic Hotel- Fabulous staff"

We stayed for one night to celebrate my daughters 11th birthday. My friend and her daughter shared a double queen room with us, and it was beautiful. Very roomy and comfortable beds. I love the little seating area, as it was nice to not have to eat pizza on our beds! The staff (especially Joe at the front desk) were top notch, and were quick to aid in any way possible. I will certainly stay again, as the kids had a blast! 100% recommend.

"Sad"

Very sad that this highly recommended NEWLY hotel, is NOT what I would recommend if you plan on coming in to enjoy a night or few nights stay with your family. The hotel bed that we had, seemed very worn out. Come bed time, we were sleeping lopsided, we switched sides, but already a very uncomfortable sleep. The room cleanliness was also not to my liking!

"Terrible service, nice hotel"

Customer service was terrible., and they false advertise and hide things until you arrive for check in. We had a friend coming in from out of town so we booked 2 rooms at $165 each. When we checked in, we said our daughter brought a friend to join us for the evening. She wasn't staying the night, so they said she couldn't go in the pool area with us. Together we only had 8 people for the 2 rooms. They said we had to upgrade one room to accommodate 5 people (even though only 4 were staying the night) (they wouldn't even let us put one of our group in with the other group who only had 4 in their room). Long story short, we had to pay over $200 for our room instead of the $165 we were told, just because we reserved a room for 4 but brought a fifth person with us to swim for an hour. That brings us to another point. No where on their site does it indicate you have to reserve pool time. When you arrive they finally tel you you only get an hour of swim time. And you also have to reserve the gym. The pool water was freezing. And the hot tub was not in service. Why can they have 20 people congregate in a pool, but you can't have 5 people in a hot tub? I could go on, but I would totally avoid this hotel and their staff at all costs. When we tried to explain to the staff, the first girl walked away from my wife, and the second guy had no desire to listen and understand that we only had 8 people in our two groups. (Only 7!staying) Why do we have to pay $200 for an upgraded room that holds 5 people. Ram to the manager you say…….LOL. He was right beside us listening to the whole thing and never once helped out. Terrible service. !!!!! The only reason I gave 2 stars and not zero was the hotel is actually nice. New rooms, nice lobby, clean everything. So the hotel is fine, but the lack of service is terrible. If the service was improved it could be a four or five star.

We have those rules in place to ensure that all registered guests and not visitors have the best access to the pool. We are restricted as to how many swimmers we can have in the pool and our weekend was very busy. The hot tub has been out of service since Covid began due to requirements for social distancing. We understand that this was a disappointment but we have advisory notices on this on all reservation sites. We do restrict the number of guests per guest room due to fire safety protocols. The pool is great, but don't be fooled by an early check in! We had to wait over 2 hours for our room to be ready with an "early check in". Only 1 elevator working on a long weekend with a ton of families there for the pool. Front desk manager is not friendly, or very helpful.

This is offered only as a request that we try to accommodate based on business volumes. The weekend that you arrived at the hotel was a long weekend and as such we had a high demand for guest rooms. I apologize for not having both elevators available for use at the hotel. We had an emergency failure of a frozen sprinkler line and the resulting flooding badly damaged an elevator. "Hope it's not slipping"

We've stayed several times at this property and generally pretty good. This weekend though it was quite busy and only one of the two elevators was working. Tried the stairs as well but none of them lead to the lobby, they take you directly outside the property. Toilet on our room wobbled when you sat on it. Maintenance seems to be slipping a bit. We were in 412 and found the bed quite uncomfortable. Anyways hope this isn't the start of things.

"Not great"

First off I will say the hotel is very nice and it should be it's still very new but the functionality of that place was absolutely terrible. It started off right from check in. They said we could check in early as we were members. That didn't happen. Asked for rooms together. They weren't going to do it but magically found two rooms on the same floor and all the sudden Borge rooms were ready for early check in. There was only one elevator working and the place was packed. Weird park they have their stairs behind locked staff only doors. Thousand people trying to use the elevators. You had to wait forever and if you used the stairs you got locked at the bottom and would have to go outside to get back into the hotel. The worst. So many people were the the stairs wells on bathing suits. As if they can go outside. You could not enter the gym or pool area without someone coming to let you in and that took forever. The pool was nice. The water didn't look clear but again there was soooo many people swimming. And they had a hard time keeping up with dry towels. The rooms were a great size and clean and the beds were comfy but it was loud at night to sleep. Lots of loud banging The wifi was very slow so if you are on business probably not the best. Unfortunately we most likely will not go back. Staff didn't seem overly friendly kinda just walked past you like you were a bother to them.

We indeed were restricted to one operational elevator. We had a minor flood in the hotel due to a frozen sprinkler pipe. The water however severely damaged one elevator. It is in the process of being repaired and we hope to have both elevators operating by the coming weekend. Regarding the pool and gym, we still have covid safety protocols in place at the hotel. We understand the the Department of Health will be revising the current restrictions in the next two weeks which will allow us to provide free access to our facilities. On the concern regarding slow internet, this is the first complaint we have received on this. We did have close to 400 guests in the hotel this past weekend and their use of personal electronic devices may have overwhelmed our system. We will certainly look into this. "Best Western is the best!"

This Best Western is very modern in its decor. It is kept very clean from the lobby to the rooms. The beds are quite soft which can be a good or bad thing depending on what you prefer. The breakfast is outstanding with lots of hot options. It is also nice that it runs until 10am so that you have lots of time to get up and going. There is a restaurant/lounge but I did not use that service. The front desk staff were very friendly and they accommodated an early check in that was very helpful. I have stayed here several times and will return again.

"Family Trip"

Before even showing up I made a couple of calls to the front desk and they were amazing especially Joey. We went midweek and made great use of the pool as there were two other families we saw there. With Covid protocols we were told that we could be guaranteed an hour, but got plenty of more. Lots of selction for the food. Rooms were great. Staff amazing. When leaving the roads were closed because of a storm heading back home and accomidations could of been made for a late checkout and/or an extra night stand. Luckily we were able to make it home with the regular checkout time. The only problem we had were the crying children that we had when we had to leave.

My experience at this hotel was average at best, and I'm not the type to complain. For the price of the room, it sure didn't live up to the hype. Here are some of the reasons why: 1) Water pressure was a trickle at best. 2) The heating system made a god awful sound on start up, and it was cutting in and out all night. Overall I would recommend a cheaper hotel and save your money.

It was a nice place to stay, friendly staff. I did call before booking to make sure everything was open and was told it was. But upon entering the pool area was greatly disappointed the hot tub was closed. However it was clearly someone who's not in the same province booking the stay and not the direct hotel itself.

The hot tub has been closed since the pandemic began two years ago as the facility cannot comply with the provincially required min social distancing. We are certainly hopeful that we will see changes to the provincially mandated safety protocols for Covid 19 begin to be rescinded this spring an we can re-open all of our facilities for our guests. "Fix the elevator"

Elevator was broken for 2 days. Though I achieved my daily steps, I would have preferred to have gone for a leisurely stroll instead of making 2 jaunts from the 6th floor with 500 pounds of luggage. The indifference of the staff was a nice touch.

Hello Murraystephenson Thank you for your comments. I do sincerely apologize for the inconvenience caused with the breakdown of our elevators. We did have an emergency at the hotel where a fire sprinkler line broke and caused considerable flooding at the hotel. This flooding caused our elevators to breakdown as a number of the electrical circuits were destroyed. It took an additional day to dry out the elevator systems where we were able to put one elevator back in service on the Sunday afternoon. Needless to say the incident did cause a significant disruption for our guests. On the Sunday, we had help from specific hotel employees to aid our guests with their luggage. I do apologize if this information was not communicated well to you. The additional comment of indifference from one of our associates is something we will address at the property. Sir, again, I apologize for the problems with our elevators as well as the lack of service from our guests. We hope that this experience will not prevent you from returning to the Best Western Premier. Sincerely Steven

"Fun at the pool and a great breakfast."

We brought our kids for a birthday party. The pool was a lot of fun my kids had a great time on the slide. Room was big and clean with a pretty comfy bed. They offer a free hot breakfast in the morning, it had everything you'd expect and tasty. I would bring my kids back for a pool party and sleep over again.

His name was Josh, He helped me settled in a quiet beautiful room and helped me extend my check out time. I forgot their are people like him out there, with all the crazy going on in this world, it was a breath of fresh air to meet someone like him, who honestly cared about you as a customer and his guest. Checked in and the young lady at desk was not at all friendly Remember first impression!! Excellent place to stay for the location that we needed.service was very good. Was clean every aspect, rooms,bedding,wash rooms etc. As seniors price was high as per our financial needs but was on par with other hotels around. "Very nice modern clean hotel"

Pool is great. Was disappointed the hot tub was not in use. I have stayed at many other hotels during covid and all hot tubs were in use except here. So big disappointment when you want to go there to relax. front desk staff wasn't the friendliest. But complimentary breakfast is always accommodating and the spread was great. Rooms are amazing. Huge sizes. Nice hotel over all.

"Amazing place to stay!"

Stayed here as our furnace went. The place was extremely clean, had tons of cool things to look at. The food was amazing. Hotel room was very large and clean. With super soft beds. My wife, kids and I all slept great. Loved all the services. Even the pool/water slide was awesome. The gym also was amazing. Lots of options. Really love the location on the east side of the city also.

"Had high hopes"

I had such high hopes based on reviews. We did have some positives: - beds were super comfortable - breakfast was good with variety - the pool was lots of fun. Negatives: - At check-in I was informed that we could not stay in the room we booked over the phone with BW reservations because I had three kids (as I had told the very kind person in reservations over the phone). I was told in a condescending manner by two front desk people that it is a safety hazard and “how on earth could we sleep in two Queen beds” (as we have done in hotels for many years). They said I had to upgrade and initially wanted me to pay. At this point I was almost breaking down to cry since this was a special treat after all this time. The front desk eventually offered me the upgrade free since it was booked incorrectly by someone from Best Western but the interaction was a traumatic start. - The bathroom fan and the in-room AC/fan unit didn't work. This left us hearing too many strange noises and disrupted our sleep. - A kid threw up on the pool deck. Front desk didn't send anyone to clean it after we told them. They had been checking for vaccine passports on the way in but didn't care that a kid puked (Covid symptom) and kept on swimming nor was it worth cleaning well apparently. - There was no information in the room: pool hours, breakfast times, where to take your pet to the bathroom (we are told to use the designated areas but no where were we informed as to where these were), or how to use the remote or what channels are available etc. The lack of info was tricky and made for a lot of guessing. Overall we had a good time but there were some disappointments. Perhaps we are the odd case here since the reviews are so high.

Less then 2 years old, this is a super clean, modern hotel with fantastic and roomy rooms! Great neighborhood too, across from the Amazon Hub the hot and cold included breakfast was varied and delicious, we only had an overnight here but would certainly return if passing through Winnipeg again!

"disappointed by lack of housekeeping"

My husband and I stayed with our toddler for 2 nights in October 2021. Upon arrival we were not told that daily housekeeping is only done by special request before 10am. We did not find any information left in our room about this although there was apparently supposed to have been (we were also supposed to be told upon check in), I wasn't made aware until I went to the front desk requesting new towels. After speaking to the front desk I scoured our room looking for the information that was supposed to have been left as I thought maybe I missed seeing it so I gave the benefit of the doubt to the staff, but after searching the room again I still did not see any information other than a restaurant menu and information about vaccination being required for pool use and restaurant. I have never stayed in a hotel where housekeeping was only done under special request so this was pretty shocking and very disappointing. Other than this issue, our room was beautiful, modern, and very clean on arrival. The complimentary breakfast was great and one of the best I've come across during any of my stays. I would love to have given an excellent rating however I am going to have to go with poor as lack of housekeeping isn't even average.

This plasticized sign was to be located leaning against the pillow on your bed. On an explanation regarding limited housekeeping services,; we introduced his policy when the impact of the Covid-19 became a significant threat. This initiative was mandated by the Best Western Hotel Company worldwide as well as initiated by most reputable international hotel brands. This decision was made on the best science available and before the introduction of Covid-19 inoculations. that being to limit visitors to hotel guestrooms and focus cleaning requirements where required. At the Best Western Premier, we introduced Touch UP cleaning where the guest received a daily light cleaning and reorganizing. We also had available a full cleaning service if the guest so requested All these options are still available at the hotel however if the guest informational card goes missing, I certainly understand your disappointment. The hotel is brand new and beautiful. The pool is amazing and the kids loved the waterslide. This hotel is also pet friendly which is great cause we had our dog with us. Hotel room is beautiful. We stayed here because it was close to my wife's clinic for her Dr. appointment. This is one of the nicest hotels I stayed at in a long time. Very clean, staff very friendly. Great hot breakfast in the morning. Close to shopping and restaurants. Decent price. Had a large walk in shower with a rain shower head. Very large parking lot. I will stay here again on my next trip to Winnipeg. If I had one complaint it would be breakfast doesn't start until 7 which didn't matter to use at this time but when were traveling we sometimes like to hit the road before 7

Never In all of my corporate career have I dealt with a more professional, accommodating and caring organization as we just experienced with the Premier Best Western Winnipeg East, located at 900 Regent Avenue West in Winnipeg. As they say in Denmark “a Thousand Thanks” for accepting and going above and beyond with an amazing Wedding Venue for our son and daughter-in-law's special day. When the couple's originally booked wedding location fell through just one week prior to their actual date, it took only one phone call and meeting with General Manager, Steven James to know everything would work out wonderfully even with the short notice and ever changing COVID restrictions. To your General Manager, Executive Chef, Restaurant Manager and every staff member that had any involvement in putting on our son and daughter-in-law's wedding we sincerely thank you. Your attention right down to the smallest of details in the presentation of such a quaint setup for the wedding ceremony, dinner and reception were noticed by the couple and their guests. The lovely modern accommodations for the Bride and Groom and several guests were very comfortable, clean, spacious and family friendly. The pool was a hit with the children and adults alike. Great parking and close to many amenities in the Transcona area. We highly recommend your hotel for any type of gatherings whether it is a special occasion such as a wedding, or a business meeting.

This is a wonderful Hotel. The rooms are clean, modern up-to-date in every way. The staff are fabulous, helpful and very accommodating. The breakfast was awesome even with the restrictions that are thrown on by our government. In the past, I have usually stayed at HI hotels, but no more. For the last several weeks I've been travelling, I've stayed mostly at Best Westerns. The Best Western chain has really, really improve their game. I would highly recommend this hotel if you're in Winnipeg and the chain anywhere you travel. If I could give it a 10 out of 10 I probably would give it 9.99. Sorry Best Western, but your your morning room and breakfast coffee sucks. But you're still worth a 999. Kudos to the staff and management.

Rooms, Lobby, gym and pool were pretty modern and very clean. Their reservation center made a lot of mistakes with my name and address, etc. Never read back any of these information to me. She wasn't helpful with our questions. My reservation was under a different name. The front desk team fixed it. Better talk to the front desk when making booking a room rather than with their reservation call center.

"Good overnight on East side of city"

We were arriving in Winnipeg from the east and didn't want to get too far into the city as we were heading north the next morning. This was a very good location. Hotel was enforcing proof of vaccination (per Manitoba rules) for facilities such as restaurant, continental breakfast, pool and exercise room. So we commend them for that. Located on Regent Street in the Transcona area. Lots of retail available including a Costco just down the street. We had a NS, King with fridge, microwave, coffee maker. Chair, coffee table and sofa bed, desk and chair. Very large room with modern decor, 2 TV's. Living area separate from bedroom area. Vinyl plank flooring throughout with carpet under the bed. Smallish bathroom for the size of the unit. Nice big walk in shower. The room and bathroom were very clean and well kept. There was also a lighted make up mirror (magnifying) The room was set up very well with many electric outlets and charging ports. We ate at the restaurant for dinner and it was OK. Smallish menu, but probably a product of the times. Good value for what we got, good service from staff. We would definitely stay here again.

We stated there for 2 days , the turn around point of a road tip from Kitchener to Winnipeg and back. Best hotel we have stayed in so far. Very friendly staff, good onsite restaurant with a patio and a excellent breakfast. You had to take breakfast back to room but that was OK. Full hot breakfast with nice assortment offers fruit. I would stay there again for sure.Think hotel is only about 2 years old

Pool is supposed to be for “fully vaxxed”with wrist bands, and was full of people without. No staff checking pool capacity to covid policy or checking to verify proper vaxxed people only in the pool. Check in & out had one staff working and took a very long time, especially check out. They should have multiple people working during checkout, this took us over an hour standing in a line to check out. Also received the wrong room but paid for the suite as we needed it for numerous people staying, hotel was full capacity so they were unable to fix that.

The desk in the lobby when you check in has a map of the Transcona Rail yards on the desk. Great touch!There are lots of train pictures throughout the hotel.I also appreciate all the safety measures for COVID. I felt really safe in the hotel. Friendly and helpful staff right from the desk clerk to the breakfast staff.I also appreciate that they accommodated my requests for room location

Went during long weekend-Pool was crazy busy despite booking a time and didn't seem safe Covid or no Covid Check in took over 40 minutes due to a long line up, no acknowledgement or apology by staff. Staff seemed stretched thin and apathetic Breakfast was a good assortment and nicely managed. Bed was comfy. Room was clean. Checkout was fast.

We stayed at the Best Western for two days in Winnipeg while visiting family. All Covid protocols were in place. Front desk staff were very prompt, courteous, kind and helpful. The hotel is new and beautiful. All amenities were as expected for a brand new hotel. Decor in our room was modern and very relaxing. We never used the pool but the kids coming in and out of there sure seemed happy and excited. So good to see. Time slots needed to be booked for the pool so we left it for the guests with little ones. Even though the hotel was busy the one thing my husband noticed (he was a heavy traveller with work) was how we heard nothing in our rooms. There was no noise from rooms even right beside us. We were even close to the elevators. Didn't affect us. It was such a nice experience. The breakfast in the morning was modified because of Covid but still offered such a great selection of food to take back to our rooms. I will definitely stay here again when back in Winnipeg.

"A good family gathering place"

This would be a good place to meet up with family and friends, a staycation. Kids enjoyed the pool and the slide. Swimmers would use up the pool towels so quickly, and yet they were able to keep up with replenishing it. Everything was new and clean. The room even smells new. Staff were friendly. We couldn't check in on time cause they were still cleaning our room(according to their system). Had to wait almost 2 hours. Maybe short-staffed, or just a slow system. But it was not a huge problem as the kids were enjoying the pool while we waited.

I have stayed at countless hotels for both work and while away, I can honestly say I have never been to a hotel that felt so clean and welcoming. My family and I stayed at The Best Western Premier East as the last stop on our vacation where we stayed at two other hotels first. Those hotels were twice the price, classified as “resorts”, and were not as nice as this Best Western! While we stayed here we enjoyed dinner at the restaurant, it was great pub like food; after we enjoyed the pool and water slide, we spent over two hours in the pool, it's great for kids! Our room was modern, exceptionally clean, and very comfortable. Our son had his own queen sized pull out couch, including his own tv! Breakfast was included and while at most hotels it is just a choice of cereal and pastry, this hotel offers a full breakfast including pancakes, waffles, eggs, bacon, and much more. During our stay, every employee I spoke to was extremely nice and welcoming. The front desk gentleman that helped us was very friendly and helpful. The housekeeper I met in the elevator was working very hard to make sure everything was clean and sanitized, she was also super friendly. During breakfast I also met the general manager Steven, who came over to ask how our breakfast was. He was very welcoming and very friendly and you can tell he is very hands on and involved. Overall we were very impressed by this hotel, so impressed we will be planning to stay another night in the next few days for a pool day get away. I will update another review after that stay!

I had the absolute best experience with this hotel! They worked with me and made everything easy and painless. Everyone is extremely nice and out going! I've been to 75+ hotels with my job and this has been my most enjoyable and best experience I have ever had! Holly was absolutely amazing and understandable and made what I need work! The hotel was great! We stayed in a large king suite and there was plenty of room. The hotel was very busy. So the pool was busy. We stayed to nights and forgot to ask for “tidy service” but will be wiser next time. This is our second time staying here and will definitely stay here again!

"Worst Experience - Left Homeless for THEIR mistake"

Showed up late at night after travelling 16 hours to find out that my room was CANCELLED WITHOUT ANY NOTICE. I was meet with a disgusting amount of attitude and hostility from the front desk staff despite it being THEIR MISTAKE. They tried to make me feel like trash and made me cry, when the issue was that THEY WROTE MY INFO WRONG. They tried to make it seem like it was my fault even though my card was valid. THEY WROTE my address WRONG, causing it to decline which was pointed out to them. They also claimed that I gave them an invalid phone number but my phone number was correct and they had that part of my information correctly written down. And I had received many calls from other people that day without issue. They didn't call me. They cancelled my room without calling or emailing me or any sort of heads up, so when I arrived at 4 am, tired after 16 hours of travel with a puppy, i had no where to stay. They had absolutely NO sympathy/empathy for me and barely made any effort to find me somewhere else to stay. I received no apology. Nothing. The managers words were “too bad she's got to go somewhere else.” Absolutely disgusting behaviour. -100000/10. I wouldn't even give them 1 star if I could.

The staff was amazing and always happy at all interactions. Room was spacious. We have 5 people and they were able to accommodate us easily in our room with 2 queen beds and a pull out sofa bed. Pool was good sized and well maintained and had an awesome water slide. Hot tub was not in use during our stay. Actually loved that we had to book in time. We picked a time slot that had no other people booked and It gave us time alone as a family which turned out really fun! I did only mark cleanliness as very good as there were a couple small things missed in our room that didn't really matter as the room and bathroom were very clean even in the corners and on the edges. The full length mirror had had obviously had someone doing their mascara in front of it and had their hand slip as their was a side hand print and a couple mascara splotches. Overall great place !!

Best Western Premier Winnipeg East is only a couple years old, it still looks and feels brand new. The lobby and pool with slide reminded us a bit of some where south. Kids swam for hours and hours. Would definitely stay here again.

"'Very new, modern hotel"

This was my first and only time to stay at this very new hotel. As one would expect, everything was of very modern design and all items in the room worked efficiently and well. Only drawback was "bedding and pillows". All of it seemed to be made of "artificial materials" as opposed to blankets, sheets, pillows, pillow cases made of natural materials like wool, cotton and linen. As a result, the materials do not "breathe" and it can be uncomfortable falling asleep, or you wake up sweating profusely. Better quality bedding and pillows would easily address the problem.

"A place to sleep"

The hotel was nice upon arrival. Property is newer and well kept. Covid kept us out of the pool due to it being closed, but it looked nice. Room was nice but ac was dirty, sheets weren't cleaned to satisfaction, and found prior guests dirty laundry in the cabinets.

Overall, our stay was great though we only used the pool facility for a shorter time due to pandemic. Breakfast was good, they just need to check the proportions so they will not waste food too much. We changed the room type last minute to Suite but we liked it especially the sofa bed and 2 tv which our children enjoyed. The only thing that I observed was the rooms are not really soundproof, you can hear kids running and banging walls and voices can be heard too. It was a bit of a problem because you just wanted to sleep and relax but the kid on top of our room is making lots of noise. Overall, we are ok...it's a good experience and we will go back for sure and hopefully everything is back to normal.

Checked out the BW Premier in Wpg to have a family-centred getaway. Nice pool, friendly staff and a great COVID-friendly breakfast was a welcome break from modified lock down! I would agree that our bathrooms may feel a bit small but the hotel design was to try to maximize more space in the guestrooms. Thank you for mentioning pre-booking pool times. The provincial Covid restrictions require us to reduce the number of guests using the pool to 25% of our operating permit. That means 13 swimmers. Pre-booking helps to ensure you can enjoy the pool at your preferred time and with only 13 people in the pool, the overall swimming experience is enhanced. The hotel is still fairly new so it's in pretty great shape. They have pretty good system in place considering all the restrictions as far as the continental breakfast and the pool centre is concerned. It's very easy to book your timeslot you can phone from your room or go to the front desk and look at yourself. Her only complaint is minor. And it's regards the continental breakfast and the quality of the food if you don't come right as soon as it opens up.

"Short Family Stay During a Snowy Night"

I had a very bad headache and my daughter had toothache that night and my husband called the receptionist to ask for some Tylenol. Right away, the receptionist said they don't have any. A hotel is the person's home for that day. Over-the-counter meds such as Tylenol, Tums, Loperamide, etc. for the usual illness is a must to have for these establishments. And giving a "no" without even checking first is like saying, "I don't care about you." Not good customer service at all. Plus my husband had to go out to look for a store that sells them in the middle of the night and it was snowing hard. I am unsure about other hotels if they are stocking them for their customers but if I own a hotel, emergency meds would be helpful and would definitely ace customer service. However, other considerations for customer satisfaction was good.

Had a doctors appointment at the Concordia Hospital so we decided to come into Winnipeg the night before. Weather wasn't that great. What a beautiful hotel. Friendly front desk staff, room was everything I asked for. Wheelchair friendly, great bathroom. Wish we could have stayed longer. Will definitely come back. Breakfast was amazing, pancakes, hash browns, scrambled eggs, sausages, coffee, juice, and even fresh pineapple. Better then any restaurant!

We stayed here while attending a funeral. We chose this hotel due to it being pet friendly and having a pool. Due to the isolation rules we stayed in the hotel the entire time we weren't attending the funeral. The beds were comfy. The included breakfast was nice. The pool was fun, just make sure you book a time when you arrive as it gets booked up during the weekend. The only down side was the ceilings and floors are not sound proof so there is footstep noise. We would stay here again and would recommend it for short stays.

From the moment we arrived to the moment we left, we had a blast! Considering all of the different protocols that they have to have in place, our stay was seamless! We enjoyed our pool time and that has to be one of the best fitness centres I've ever seen in a hotel. The lineups to get breakfast were a little long but that's to be expected with following pandemic protocols. It's a brigh and cheery hotel, our adjoining rooms were spacious, and heating and water temps were great. Lots of different spots to eat, amenities nearby and I'd love to go back when it's warmer to check out their patio. Overall a fantastic stay!

We haven't even checked out yet and I had to review so I wouldn't forget! Maybe it's the fact that we have been cooped up at home for so long..but I love this hotel! Pre-covid we would do a night at a hotel several times a year as a staycation. We usually have pretty good customer service at hotels we've stayed at. However, the customer service here has been outstanding! From the moment I pre-registered for my stay the staff here have just been fun, helpful and downright wonderful. I'm sure they (like most people in customer service right now) are dealing with pandemic fatigue and frustration with the extra rules they have to enforce (and unhappy guests as a result) yet you would never know. This has been a great experience and I would 10/10 recommend

Hotel is very clean. Bright decor, nice room, following COVID-19 protocols (hand sanitizer everywhere, masks in hallways/lobby). Waterslide and pool area was clean. Friendly staff. Would be very nice in summer months as we noticed a patio area in the back.

"Mini vacation"

We absolutely loved our stay at the hotel. The staff went over and above to make our stay pleasant. The rooms were large very clean very modern and it was nice that we definitely were not tripping over each other. The bed was so comfy I didn't want to get up. The pool was great the kids so enjoyed it. It's great the slide goes into the shallow end so we didn't have to worry. Even though it was covid time there was ample opportunity to swim. This is going to become our stay at home vacation hotel for the kids. Looking forward to breakfast tomorrow and to finishing our stay with one last swim. I love that it is so clean.

We stayed one night on a medical trip. It is a very beautiful hotel, clean room. We didn't get to use the pool or gym but they both look amazing. Breakfast was great, hot and lots to choose from. The employees were very friendly and accommodating. Would definitely choose this hotel again.

Our stay at the hotel was simply amazing. Every staff member we encountered was cheery and super helpful. In particular we would like to give a shout out to Michael, the pool attendant. He went above and beyond to make the whole process enjoyable and easy! We understand that there are Covid regulations in place, but we also thoroughly enjoyed the fact that although the restrictions were adhered to, he was not ‘over the top' or unrealistically placing expectations on anyone, especially our children -so thank you for that!!! We will be back and we will most definitely be sending others your way!

The 1st room we were in had drink marks on the coffee table and side table and they missed cleaning a portion of the floor. The rest of the room looked good. We called the front desk and they moved us rooms right away. They were friendly and very accommodating.

This is our third stay at this hotel. Always very clean, employees friendly, rooms are spacious and cozy. Bedding is amazing and a great sleep each time. Breakfast is great even during these times. Very well organized and delicious. Management takes care of their guests and hotel like a five star and feel of luxury. Close to shopping stores, restaurants and casino . Pool and fitness center wonderful. Once available again you must check out this hotel overall great stay and great people.

"Not what you'd expect from a newer hotel"

Not a place to stay if you value your back. The bed was ridiculously sunken in and the pillows were child size in width and length and too thick not at all comfortable. Being a newer hotel was definitely expecting more. The temperature control in the room was also a huge issue, went from freezing one minute to sweating the next (without changing anything)

I stayed at the hotel for an appointment, as soon as I walked in the hotel I was greated by a very friendly team of people that work there. The hotel is beautiful I have never had a better sleep than I did there the beds are the best I have ever slept in. The people that work there are one huge family . Even with covid they are still happy and you hear laughter from everyone . I will definitly stay again and I will be letting my family and friends know the best place to stay is the Best Western Premier. I thank every person in the hotel for the best experience I have ever had.

"Very disgusting & disappointing!!!"

Took over half hour to check in as attendant didn't know how to process promotional travel voucher properly, had to call day manager & customer service. Room not clean, hand & finger prints all over both windows, debris on floor and some sort of liquid spots on floor in front of chair and couch obviously floor wasn't washed ( laminate flooring in room) Then to make matters worse found a tea bag floating in water reservoir of single serve coffee maker, this was appalling and made me physically ill thinking I had drank the coffee the day before. I was neither offered a complimentary future stay or refund from BW Regent for the unacceptable conditions I encountered. I/we always stay at BW when traveling and normally at Pembina BW in Winnipeg, I have never have had any issues there, the rooms are always clean and fresh smelling, the food is excellent, staff and manager are friendly and in fact they know us by name there. I would strongly recommend you check everything out if staying at BW Regent, before settling in.

Bright, new, clean and the night we stayed they had a promo of free pasta sampling, which size was more like a full plate dinner to us. The fitness center was fabulous with a good system of asking the guest to use sticky to identify the equipment that had been used so that they would clean more extensively.

Not much bad to say about this hotel. Lots of parking, friendly staff, great room and best of all, quiet. The restaurant had comfortable and safe seating and the food was very good. We upgraded our room which gave us some added space with a pull out sofa and 2nd tv.

Front desk looked like she dreaded having a job. Not the best first/last impression when entering/leaving the hotel. Room cleaners were way nicer and had a good working attitude than the front desk staff. Very clean hotel otherwise, good complimentary breakfast (not all you can eat probably due to COVID, but still a decent serving). However, I barely had contact with the front desk so i would still rate my experience 9/10.

"Semen in one room, pee in another. Worse staff."

Newly renovated but very poor house keeping. And non of the COVID precautions does apply here. Bring your spray sanitizer, wipes and do clean everything especially if you have kids. I found pee on the toilet seat. The dry receptionist lady offed to clean it but also offered to change the room so ended having an upgrade. But again in the toilet room, there was a mucus, kind off, wiped or sprayed on the wall above the toilet seat. It could be male productive fluid that contains any life threatening disease. HEB C, maybe or HIV. The receptionist brought the general manager who immediately started defending the hotel that the pee was only the cleaning product from the steamer, which is totally not true but he was a elder so I didn't argue amd respected his age. When I said why it was crystals just like dry pee. He replied”from our prospective it is well sanitized” When we reached the upgrade room, he said” I don't know what you did to the room” as if I was the one putting the filth for the joy of dragging my family between rooms than settling and resting because we had to checkout at 8am. I replied that I don't appreciate being accused. He replied I don't know. Finally changed to third room after it was checked thoroughly by both general manager and house keeping, leaving shoes prints in the shower and everywhere else. So the vacuum effort, if it was vacuumed, is gone. Good thing I wanted to sleep and family are tired. Otherwise I would give them a worse response. I spend four to five months of my year in hotels. I've seen bad hotels but never bad receptionist nor as rude manager. Just never in my whole 11 years of my career as a consultant. They never apologized. I've seen much poor hotels but far better staff than this hotel except for one Lady named Megan in accounts. I had to call to see why am I being charged differently from the rate I signed for. She checked and had corrected the unprofessional people mistake. I felt sorry for her that she had to work with that kind of people. She sounded positive as soon I started talking to her. She responded the way any professional person going to handle a situation. She listened then responded. Not like the manager who defended the pee to be sanitizer. He need to up his managerial skills at least learn for Megan's positive attitude. Say sorry and don't accuse guests for housekeeping faults. Check the photos. Poor quality but it's up to you if you wish to choose poor hygiene. I wouldn't go back and never best western. I hope they treat people better after this review.

A very clean hotel with exceptional staff and a unique and pleasing decor. About time hotels started to look a little more lively and eye appealing! From check in to check out, we had a great experience. The price was very reasonable and the hotel was run with respect to all the Covid rules. The room was spotless and the staff friendly and efficient. Kudos to Kelsey in the breakfast bar who not only dished out all the hot breakfasts, but cleaned up the table and got you whatever else she could accommodate you with. Bubbly, friendly and efficient, Kelsey was an excellent ambassador for this franchise site and a credit to the hotel chain.

I have to admit I was nervous staying at a hotel during COVID but right as soon as I saw the mandatory masks on the front door, my anxiety eased! My room was spotless and smelled so clean! The staff were very friendly and the checkin was a breeze! Being able to go outside on a hot Winnipeg summer night to enjoy supper on the patio was one of the best features!! I will most definitely come back here when I visit Winnipeg again.

"Not premier in my opinion"

We booked this hotel because we were told they had smart tvs (we had a full day online conference to watch in our room)... We checked in only to find out they didn't actually have smart tvs. We had to run around the city to find special adapters just to attend the online conference. Front desk did try to help but was unsuccessful. Rooms we're sorta clean but shower was still dirty. Food was good except eggs .... those tasted like chemicals.

This is the second time our group has returned to this hotel. The hotel has a excellent meeting room with the required elements needed for the meeting. The clean decor of the the hotel, the value of what you pay for, excellent location, Covid safe practices in place and especially the staff.. We had a great time, my son and I. We enjoyed the pool, and the free wifi. I wish the coffee was better, but I'm a bit of a coffee snob. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. The covid cleaning measures were really great. Masks are required in the main hotel areas, but not in the pool, restaurant, or guest rooms.

Regarding your comments on adherence to Best Western hotel policies, Best Western indeed introduced new face covering policies one week ago. We in fact ordered 10,000 face masks to be able to supply our guests in need of face coverings but these supplies did not arrive until after your stay. As such we did not implement the face mask policy until we would be confident we could provide guests with a fair consistent and balanced approach the the new Best Western policy. During your stay you would have noticed that all the Best Western employees wore face masks. We have in place a very thorough Covid-19 mitigation policy covering all areas of the hotel for both effective sanitizing and disinfecting of all touch points. Access to the pool and fitness facilities are restricted in numbers of guests to ensure the best safety protocols possible. All hotel employees have completed the MTEC provincial certification course on 'Cleaning It Right' which is becoming a national standard due to the quality of the course. We also have in use electrostatic sprayers that are used based on a daily schedule to sanitize all public areas. We have detailed policy and procedure manuals for all departments addressing Covid-19 threats and these procedures are strictly enforced by all supervisors. Clean, quiet, and very comfortable rooms with beautiful decor. The hot breakfast options were fantastic and very tasty. But I think the best thing about this hotel is the staff. They were so friendly and helpful! Every person we encountered went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable! My only complaint was the pool. Very nice pool and fun water slide, but the chlorine was overpowering at times. All in all, a great family getaway and we will definitely stay again on our next visit to Winnipeg!

Stayed in the double queen suite which was very spacious for the family. Loved the bright colour of the decor. Beds were comfy, breakfast was yummy, and the pool was a lot of fun!! Kids had a blast on the waterslide.

I was so so surprised I went too a little quick alone getaway.This hotel is like something you would see on a holiday and not Winnipeg. The decor the rooms the comfort of the beds, the staff and all the amenities were amazing.And it is very affordable. Other hotels here in city should take lessons.Thank You and I highly highly recommend this place.And the free hot breakfast in the morning is a plus.

WATCH your credit card bills!! I had ‘reserved' 2 rooms and the other guest registered in at the same time I did. At check out I used my debit card and the other guest said to charge to their card...but the hotel charged MY card! I emailed the manager Steven James and his response was I was not double charged since I had initially reserved 2 rooms, so according to the hotel policy it is ok to have charged the room I did NOT -use (with out my permission) Thank goodness I kept receipt for business reasons...but this is NOT how a hotel should conduct business...you need to be made aware of this!! Are they as I call it ‘double charging' more customers and they are not aware!! Shame on this establishment!! FYI they did NOT offer to correct this charge and I had to approach the other guest and prove my situation which is just wrong on every level!! Hotel should take responsibility for their error, NOT me!! Be Leary!!!

The staff is amazingly fantastic. The food is great. It's nice you get free breakfast till 10am. Then coffee and water all day long. Rooms are clean and spacious. Pool needs a little less chlorine. I will be back again

This is the best Hotel so far I give it a 5 star it was was clean the staff was amazing and the kids really enjoy the pool while I had the opportunity to workout in the gym the only thing the do not have in the gym is over head weights

Previous guests hair all over bathroom floor, see pictures. Neither of us have black hair. Hot tub was not in use, which was the ONLY reason for our stay. Couldn't even calm down with a relaxing bath because the room didn't have a bathtub! The heating/cooling unit is wacky, not consistent. Because I dealt with Expedia payment was already taken by them and there's no recourse. This is the third time I have booked through Expedia and there wasn't a pool/hot tub in use when we arrived. From now on I will be calling hotels directly and will not pay until I see it. Thanks for ruining my husband's birthday gift Best Western Premier East Winnipeg and for giving me numerous anxiety attacks over this!

Feedback from our guests both positive and negative help us to be a better provider for the very best in hospitality experience. I would like to apologize for what appears to be a lack of full attention to cleaning in your guestroom. This is a very unusual experience for us and absolutely unacceptable. If you would be so kind to reach out to me by telephone, this will give me an opportunity to investigate this further including when you stayed at our property. The heating units in the hotel guestrooms are brand new and operating efficiently. New technology in these units provide heated as well as fresh air into the guestroom to ensure a continuous full exchange of air for our guests experience. This can be interpreted by guests though as the units are not working properly With your disappointment on the pool's hot tub being closed for guest use, I understand. Temporary pool closures do happen. Due to heavy guest usage, the pool chemical balance can fall outside of the health department's requirements for safe public use. We employ a rigorous testing of the pool water samples numerous times every day. If a chemical imbalance is detected, we will immediately close down the hot tub to be absolutely certain that we do not place our guests in a potential unsafe environment. We will never put our guests safety at risk and for that, I cannot apologize. On your comment regarding a third poor experience using an on line booking company, these businesses do provide a valuable service to the travelling public. Personally I do prefer to book direct with a hotel as the associate at the property are the most knowledgeable on the hotel's facilities and services and can better address special requests or questions. I recently stayed at Premier with my Wife I required a room for Assistance especially in the Bathtub The Staff and GM were very helpful Premier has a rooms taht have tubs , bars across to pull yoursel help easeally and bars on front an back of tub for assistance The coating on tub floor is non stick and did not require and tub mat We were both very pleased with the room size if you were in a wheel chair you would have plenty of room

We came for one night and ended up loving it so much we stayed 2 nights. I have never stayed in such a clean hotel. The staff were cleaning constantly and we even saw them moving couches in the lobby to clean underneath. The pool was fantastic. The waterslide is fun and the main pool is warm. The breakfast is great.The omelettes, hot foods, and waffles are excellent. Thanks to Roxanne at the front desk for funding us a great rate for our second bought and making it possible for us to stay in the same rooms. If you need help, Roxanne is fantastic. We are definitely coming back to stay again.

Our family needed to find a hotel last minute and gave the Regent Best Western a try. It was very clean and new. We had a great, I liked that the floors were not all carpeted which helps keep things clean. The pool was nice, not very large but nice. Breakfast was amazing, a large spread and a made to order cook as well. On top of everything else, very helpful and cheerful staff who seem to be doing their job with pride.

My wife and I stayed here for the first time. The hotel only opened last September and it is beautiful! the staff were all exceptional in terms of efficiency and welcoming. The rooms are very modern decor with bright colourful and spacious interiors. The breakfast bar is one of the best ever with the fresh made omlette bar being very impressive. I stayed there with my friend for a Stayca....everything is excellent from the decor ,the comfy beds,the fitness room ,pool and hot tub,breakfast with omelette station,bar and restaurant!!(Also beer store in same parking lot)...you do not have to leave the property..also cookies and fruit and the front desk . .is also across the street from Club Regent Casino.

I can this hotel was the most positive hotel experience I have ever had in Winnipeg the staff was so Friendly that I just keep saying that my whole stay. The positive energy went a long way. I felt very relaxed and comfortable rooms were excellent and exceptionally clean. It was a very different experience all o can say is that I like it and most definitely stay again.

The hotel is brand new. Beautifully decorated with crisp clean lines and bold colours. Love the railway vibe. While we didn't use the fitness room (lots of equipment), we did use the pool (slide) and hot tub. The staff happy to assist.

"A few issues with cleanliness of room"

Normally I wouldnt complain but I feel that our experience was pretty bad for what we paid. The suite was not clean. Dirty bedsheets on the sofa bed (blood stain), candy under furniture, bathroom floors not properly washed and in suite tub had some hair/dust in it. Staff were very helpful and replaced quickly and offered to do a full clean of our room. For our "trouble" we were giving 5000 best western points which basically translates to one free night at their hotels but I dont even really know how or when we would use that. Pool water was cool, but kids loved the pool and water slide. Restaurant food was not very good, expensive with limited menu and we didnt get all the food we ordered. The in suite window unit was blowing cold air into our room. In december. In winnipeg.

Stayed here as a staycation for NYE. The room was very large I was quite surprised! Very clean and comfortable. The best thing was the fridge was nice and cold! Most hotels the fridge temperature is awful. The water in the shower was hot but the pressure was horrible in both the shower and the sink. We also got a larger room which is called a “suite” and I was expecting a wall separating the room and the couch. Online it shows a partial wall about 2 feet and for some reason I thought maybe it slid out to separate the room but it doesn't. So if you need the actual 2 separate rooms, this hotel isn't for you. Unfortunately when we had both tv's going as we were using all the beds, there wasn't really a point to it because the noise level is the same as both TVs were in the same room and there is no barrier. Also when I tried to change the channel if I didn't directly point it at my TV, the other TV would change. The workout room is amazing! Probably one of the better work out rooms I've seen. The pool area is very small with very limited seating and no real tables besides mini tables. Because it was NYE it was impossible to find a place to sit so we came back later in the evening. The pool was packed but that was a given. The hot tub I wish they designed differently. It's attached directly to the pool so the kids were jumping in and out splashing those looking to relax in the hot tub. That was pretty annoying. There is an adult swim from 10-11 but I think it took a few adults to complain about the amount of kids in the pool after 10 so they extended it to 12:00 and made sure to kick the kids out at 11. Even after 11 some parents made a huge stink and let their kids continue to swim which was ridiculous on the parents part. Towels seem to be always fully stocked which was excellent! The breakfast buffet was unbelievable! I have never experienced anything like that unless I want to pay an arm and leg or go to the states. Even the states doesn't have an omelette station though. It was so good! The variety was amazing and we did not have a problem finding seating at all. Parking was great. Elevators were incredibly small and slow but again, the hotel was packed. The only reason I gave it 4 stars instead of 5 is simply because of the word “suite”- I would expect it to have a separating wall from the beds/living room area. Otherwise I would definitely stay here again!

All suites do have two large screen televisions for the guest enjoyment. The reason for the two tvs is to provide direct viewing comfort of the smart tvs from either the pull out sofa bed or from the guest room bed. I certainly understand if both tvs are on at the same time, there would be conflicting broadcast volume issues. Thank you again for your warm comments and observations. The breakfast is the best I have ever had. The pool room was a little dirty the hot tub is only listed as a 5 person very small and not very hot. Also no actual tables in the pool room. The kids have a blast on the slide and I really enjoy the decor.

My husband and I stayed here for the night. We came in from kenora and we were a bit early called to see if we could check in early and it wasn't a problem. The hotel is very very nice, clean and staff are very friendly. Our niece and nephew came with us to the pool and they enjoyed the water slide and the hot tub. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast with a made to order omelette station and tons of options. Definitely would stay again!

Front desk was very cheerful and helpful. Answered all my questions. When I checked out they had a new trainee and had a it of a wait. She was very apologetic and I was very impressed. My grandchildren really enjoyed the swimming pool and water slide. Will probably stay again in the future.

We came here as a stay-cation.. The decor, colors and such were very pleasing. My wife was in love with the decor. Internet was quick, food at the Bistro was good for a quick bite. The butternut squash soup was very good. The staff are very friendly and we would definitely stay here again! The

Brand new hotel. Less than 2 months in use. Great room, Great service, so so decor. Restaurant food was ok. Nice location. Quiet room. Internet worked ok and HD tv was HD. Breakfast was ok, No peanut butter for my toast? How it that possible? haha!

"Hospitality done right"

I was completely exhausted after a late night drive from Minneapolis. I arrived in the wee hours and asked for a late check out. The staff was very accommodating & friendly. The excellent black out drapes helped with a good sleep. The morning staff was quiet in the hallway so that I was able to get a good rest without interruptions. A beautiful hotel! Did not get to try the breakfast since I chose to sleep past their hours. If I would have any suggestion for this hotel would be to run the breakfast a little longer in the morning.

"Nice family weekend "

Stayed here for the weekend. Loved everything about this hotel. The location is great as everything we needed was within 5 mins, the pool was great fun for the kids, the breakfast was well worth the stay- the omelettes were delicious! House keepers very friendly, check in was fast, they accommodated us very well as we were travelling with our baby. The restaurant was also very good (try the nachos!) and our waitress was also great! Will definitely be staying here from now on. Keep up the great work!

Awesome new hotel, very clean, pool is perfect for kids with the waterslide. Rooms are minimalistic but everything you need feel very roomy. Close to Club Regent Casino. The best part is the complimentary breakfast buffet in the morning.

We booked this hotel because club regent was sold out and we were so happy we did. Our friends came over some hot tub and wine (red solo cups) around 4 the pool was empty. Everything is brand new. BecUse there's little carpets in the room when everyone changed afterwards the room was still spotless. The beds were very comfortable 10/10. Now there breakfast, fresh to made omelet bar, bacon sausage waffles toast muffins cereal coffee orange juice everything you could ask for. And because the hotel is so new 2 months old, it wasn't overly crowded. We will be back to book again over the Christmas holidays. My kids would enjoy the water slide. The rooms are huge modern & clean w fridge and microwave. The bathroom is a little small but totally fine.

Very clean modern rooms. Great amenities with quick, friendly service. The location was convenient to the east end of the city. Plenty of well lite parking with a covered entrance to the lobby. The pool with waterslide and hot tub were great with a fitness room located next to it. The lounge/diningroom were big and kind of cold as far as atmosphere. The food was good, but the menu is very limited. Although I did not take advantage of the breakfast, there is a complimentary breakfast. There is a breakfast area setup on the main floor, continental style, with a chef that will prepare omletes as well.

My stay was very good, I was visiting family.Expected b/c it is a new facility. Room decor is lovely, bed & pillows comfy, enjoyed the double shade for full darkening. Shower needs interior handrail. I used the great workout room; saw families enjoying the pool. Restaurant (lounge) is very nice with a decent menu. Really loved the butternut squash soup & the penne pasta with a choice of flavor preparation, like butter & garlic herb. No desserts yet, said they should be coming soon. I did hear some exterior noises that awakened me. I think it may be a bit pricey but...

The “free breakfast” is above and beyond normal. Omelettes are cooked right there with your choice of fillings. Great selection of other breakfast items. Pool, hot tub, small safe water slide for kids and a fitness centre round out enjoyable amenities.

This is a new property so things are shiny and nice but also, you can see the staff care about it. The breakfast featured an omelette bar which was a great addition that you do not see at most hotel standard breakfasts. The gym is professional quality, large, well equipped, towels, water, free weights, yoga mats and lots of cardio machines. Stay here you will not be disappointed.

Amazing service with the best free breakfast I've had at any hotel!! Full omelette bar which was over and above what is expected. Room was clean, modern and comfortable. Will be coming back again for my next Winnipeg trip!

"Good with a Few Issues"

Myself and a few friends stayed at this hotel recently. The hotel looks nice and new from both the inside and the outside. Very modern and very clean. They have a train theme going on throughout the hotel. When we arrived, the lady at the front desk said that we would be charged an extra $15 per person over two people - which is ridiculous. I booked a room for 4 people and when I booked it, it never said that I would have to pay extra. I voiced my concern and they waived the amount. We spent some time in the pool which has a nice water slide - perfect for kids. The pool was clean and warm. The breakfast was also amazing. Lots of options including an omelet bar. Overall, we enjoyed our stay. I would recommend not charging people $15 per person over two people though when the room clearly is more than a two person room.

We just stayed in this brand new hotel and it was fabulous! The room was spacious and the bed was very comfortable, best sleep ever in a hotel.The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food at the Bistro and at breakfast was amazing! If you are travelling to Winnipeg you definitely want to stay here.

We had a great stay, such a beautiful new hotel. Staff was amazing and very helpful. We really enjoyed our breakfast, We loved the omelet bar. incredible pool area, we loved the slide. Also the lounge was beautiful, amazing unique cocktails, bartender was very helpful. All around perfect stay, and all the staff where great and cheerful.
