Best Western Plus Walkerton Hotel & Conference Centre

We stayed here for one night on a recent Saturday while attending a wedding nearby. Didn't know what to expect, but we were really satisfied with our stay, and will definitely recommend this to anyone looking to spend some time in Walkerton. Our room was clean and modern and the beds comfortable. On Sunday morning we went down for the free breakfast, and everyone in our group of 8 had a good time. We also made use of the pool which was not huge, but a ton of fun for the kids fun the group. It was also clean and well maintained. Finally, when I got back, the hotel had sent me an email because I had left behind my bluetooth headphones. They promptly mailed them back to me. Amazing!

Staff was very friendly (Amber checked us in, and she always greeted us when she saw us later, around the hotel). Room was nice and clean. Pool was nice. The FREE breakfast included a good variety of items, and I especially enjoyed having omelettes made to order. Thank you. Free parking. Free wi-fi. All great amenities!

beautiful hotel, nice helpful staff, great continental breakfast, comfortable room, the fitness center is nice with good equipment. Sadly only stayed for one night but next time I will try to stay for a couple of days, it was a nice retreat!

Lovely hotel in a country setting. Comfortable rooms and bed. Efficient friendly staff. Great full breakfast including omelettes cooked to order and good coffee. They use china and silverware rather than disposable, an environmentally friendly way that all hotels should follow. Loved the outdoor patio. Probably the nicest hotel I have stayed in in Canada. Highly recommend

I have stayed at this property close to 10 times this year. Each time I am continually impressed by the staff, attention to detail, cleanliness and quality. Particularly, the young lady, Victoria at the front desk is genuine and always does her best accommodate all guests. The lady who works the breakfast station is also perfect (did not get her name). She is efficient, friendly and a real ambassador to the breakfast program at this hotel. This is one of the best included breakfast programs at a hotel I have been to of this class. The last few times, I have not been offered a room upgrade. As an elite member of the rewards program this is always my favourite benefit. Keep up the great work!

The hotel staff went above and beyond our expectations. The hotel was very clean and bright. The staff were very professional, polite, efficient and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic every day. I would recommend this hotel to everyone.

This Best Western is very well run. Friendly and courteous staff, very clean and modern. Comfortable beds and pillows and great bathrooms. The breakfast included a omelette bar and an excellent selection of other breakfast items and the coffee was good. We were quite tired upon check in and asked if we could have some coffee and the front desk clerk offered to make a fresh pot for us. It was really a nice gesture. This kind of service is what will bring us back to this hotel or chain. If the hotel is excellent but if the service is subtly condescending or not pleasant we will never return and we do tell about the service to the management and others who may want to stay. We would definitely recommend this hotel.

Myself and 3 ladies travelled to Walkerton on a mini golf tip to play the nearby Blackhorse golf course. All of us were very impressed with the cleanliness, the comfortable rooms, pleasant staff and excellent hot breakfast at this Best Western. I would definitely stay here again and would recommend to anyone. It is a couple minutes out of the downtown but there is also a restaurant within walking distance of the hotel if you don't feel like taking the short drive. We also enjoyed the restaurant.

Thoroughly enjoyed are quick stay at this hotel. The service was excellent - friendly staff. We enjoyed the outside patio. The night auditor should be commended as she was most caring and very personable (very rare). She packed our breakfast grab and go bag with care and we really appreciated.

Had the opportunity to stay here while visiting the area , the hotel was very clean , the staff were friendly, and it was reasonably priced. The breakfast in the morning was delicious and hot, eggs made to your liking, the cook was very friendly August 3rd as were the front desk, maids etc. Just a nice friendly hotel.

The hotel was clean, accomodating and helpful during an exciting and at times stressful wedding weekend. As a group we occupied 20 rooms that weekend. We arn't a rowdy bunch - but when you get that many people coming together to celebrate - we can get a little loud. The staff was very helpful and patient especially with tight timelines and last minute items that came up! I would recommend this hotel to anyone - but also wonderful for large get togethers.

Stayed for one night on Canada Day. Drove through the town to get here, and noticed that everything seemed to be closed. Front desk was very helpful recommending a place for dinner. Room was as expected. Clean, and everything worked. I faced the front of the building, and it was very quiet. A big surprise was the customer cooked breakfast the next morning. It's getting difficult to find moderately priced hotels with this quality. I'd definately recommend staying here.

We were booked in with two friends , for two nights , both couples were seasoned travellers, and we both agreed not only was this good value, with pleasant helpful,service but was in another league as far as this type of hotel went . We were treated to a prepared omelette of your choosing eggs any style cooked to order unlike the total buffet breakfast you get with hotels around North America . Rooms were clean , large , and comfortable , as I said the staff were helpful in the extreme ,would not hesitate to recommend this place at all . It is number 1 in Walkerton a small town but the same service elsewhere would be hard to beat

Without planning in advance we were very pleased to be able to stay in this hotel. Small towns often don't have such pleaasnt accomodation. WE were especially pleased with the included breakfast, the omelets or scrambled eggs were prepared when we arrived for breakfast, not left warming under lights for who knows how long as in some locations we have experienced in the past. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The beds and pillows were comfortable and we had a good night's rest.

Stayed here one night on business in May. The hotel is clean, modern and has great staff. It is a smaller hotel so that makes it a much more personal experience, checkin is quick etc. Having Best Western status, they always have given me an upgrade to a jacuzzi room

I would highly recommend this location for your stay. The property is clean, and well appointed, and the staff very polite and helpful. The cooked to order breakfast is a highlight not seen in many hotels a very welcome change from the eggs n a hotel pan variety. You won't be sorry you reserved at this location.

I have to travel a lot for my work which takes me all over the world. BW Plus Walkerton is world class for Quality and Service. This location truly cares about it's customers in every way. You will not be disappointed in choosing this location.

I have stayed at BW many times for work right across Canada. Amongst all my stays, at BW walkerton, there is one staff member that stood out to me. Her name is Vanessa. I usually check in late night on Sunday's and I have noticed her exceptional customer service. She brought it to my attention that my membership was upgraded from diamond to diamond select and just the way she thanked me for my business with BW and explained the benefits of the membership upgrade made me feel very special. She knows how to build great customer rapport. I've only seen her work at night time and I have never come across another staff member anywhere that has such a great friendly attitude especially working night time.

This hotel was well kept but it was the staff and the service that was the best. The check in was personal and quick, the rooms were clean and beds so comfy. BUT the best was the homemade omelets for breakfast and the care the staff took to make sure that I enjoyed my stay.

I always stay here when in the area on business. The hotel itself is great...friendly service, clean/comfy rooms, and good location. What makes this my favorite is the lady that runs the breakfast area. She's always so chipper and makes a mean everything omelette. She'll actually make it any way you like. She keeps the area well stocked and makes sure you're off to work full and satisfied. She's the reason I keep returning!

very impressed with the staff and accommodations. Asked for a change this coming week and they agreed. Breakfast was the best I have ever had anywhere in a hotel in Ontario' well done. The only negative would be the price. Thought it was a bit high for the area but then there is no competition

was here for a conference and the staff are great, nothing is ever too much for them.One thing the hotel really needs though is an electric vehicle plug in site, which are supplied FREE by Tesla. Why don't they have one? It would make life so much easier

This is one of the nicest hotels we have stayed in. It is extremely clean and well kept. Excellent full hot breakfast cooked to order. Staff very helpful on arrival. Once in the room front desk called to ensure everything was to our satisfaction.

the entire place is clean, quiet and comfortable. the included breakfast is exceptional...great variety for kids...and an "make it your way egg station" to boot! dining area was somehow large enough to hold the team with family members as well as maintain an intimate atmosphere. rooms and hotel in general are decorated nicely. pool is great - wide-open viewing areas from inside the pool area or out...that's a safety feature in my eyes. friendly.

My sons hockey team needed a place to stay for a tournament in the area. It was a nice clean, friendly hotel and we were very happy with our exeperience. Will stay again if ever needing a hotel in this area.

Needed a place to stay while visiting family in Walkerton area over Christmas. Reserved for 2 nights but due to blizzard had to extend my stay by one night. Overall I had a satisfactory stay. The seasonal decor was beautiful and the lobby inviting. On entering my room I immediately noticed a musty smell but luckily had brought a can of Lysol spray. Otherwise room was clean and I was pleased to see all white linens on the bed with no bedspread. Breakfast was good offering fresh omelettes. Despite the weather I was disappointed that the handicap parking spaces were never cleared of snow. I was on the third floor which was quiet with great view. I would return to this hotel when next travelling in the area.

Fabulous beds, great breakfast .... wonderful staff ... real value and a little gem! This is a great hotel in a small town that provides big city service and quality. Keep doing what you do! you have it right!

Excellent stay and terrific value. Clean pool area, excellent staff, terrific breakfast. We stayed for a family Christmas in the community with very small children with one of the families. Excellent venue for all ages! The staff was very attentive and helpful with directions and suggesting things to do while we were in the area. Particularly enjoyed the pool area.

Stayed a night during a recent curling event in Chelsea. Rooms large and clean, nice pool if you have kids. The breakfast is excellent, with made to order eggs..top notch. Downtown Walkerton is not walking distance, but 5 minute drive.

Stayed there for a weekend during curling season. Those who did not reserve in time were very jealous of our spacious rooms, indoor pool, hot breakfast, and clean and comfortable surroundings. Staff was very helpful. The hot breakfast was satisfactory, not overwhelming. Our room was clean and quite large by today's standards.

Hotel is clean, and well equipped, Excellent breakfast, very good staff., was a great stay. Comfortable bed and couch. Pool was nice temp, lots of towels, Parking no problem. would certainly stay again

I have absolutely NOTHING negative to say about this hotel or my stay. Clean, updated, decorated beautifully, out of this world breakfast, pool, relaxing lobby. The town of Walkerton is cute and quiet with good restaurants and pizzeria.

Stayed one night, as I had an early meeting in Durham the next day. The staff were friendly and accommodting. Very clean and comfortable. Evertything worked perfectly, including the WIFi. Shampoo and conditioner in shower-mounted squeeze bottles; great idea. Cooked to order breakfast starting at 7 was an unusual, and much appreciated bonus. Room rates are a little high, but this place is certainly a cut above the average small town motel. I gave it a four instead of a five simply because they have no "smoking" rooms at all. I understand that the place is brand-new, and they don't want the rooms smelling of smoke. However, it is simple enough to have one wing of half-a-dozen rooms used by no one but smokers, as a courtesy to those of us who enjoy a cigarette with our first coffee of the day.

We really enjoyed our one-night stay here on Oct. 14th. We were told the hotel is now five years old, but it looks very new. We had a friendly greeting from the front-desk person, and she called soon after we entered our room to make sure everything was okay. We chose a suite with two queen beds and a little sitting area, complete with a sofa bed and armchair. There was also a microwave and mini-fridge. The beds were quite comfortable. We enjoyed a morning dip in the pool, which is fairly small and shallow, but quite sufficient. Our breakfast was one of the highlights. It's actually a FULL breakfast, unlike a lot of hotels. There is a very nice omelet bar, and the chef asks you for your choice of ingredients. You also have your choice of pancakes, cereals, breads, coffee, juice, etc., etc. We would definitely stay here again if we were in the area. Thanks, folks, for making our visit so enjoyable.

Loved this immaculate place and wished we were staying longer. In room fridge and microwave and coffee maker were appreciated. Wifi worked great! Clean comfortable rooms and friendly staff. Wish we had had time to enjoy the inviting pool.

This was the best Best Western we have stayed at over the last few months and years. The staff was very nice, the breakfast area is excellent, way beyond what is offered at most of the other hotels. Certainly better than any other Best Western Plus. The breakfast was exceptional, fresh made omlets, No powdered eggs to be seen. If your going to be in the Walkerton area, this is the best place to stay.

This hotel is extremely clean. The breakfast is terrific. The rooms are perfect... could not find anything wrong with the room or hotel. The employees are all helpful and very polite. This hotel is a refreshing change from other hotels. Perfect! Would stay here again and will certainly recommend it.

I only stayed one night on business. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. Loved express check-out. The breakfast was very good and the woman who cooked my omelette was cheery and helpful. Lovely hotel lobby and bar/breakfast area. There is a great restaurant for dinner, just around the corner. Try 519 Restaurant - food was awesome. A little pricey so glad I got a government rate.

I found the hotel to be physically nice and comfortable. Recently updated rooms, comfortable beds and cool layout along with a fantastic breakfast in the morning. The only downfall I experienced as a guest was that immediately after we returned to the room after the wedding (around aprox 10PM) we got a call from the front desk that there had been a noice complaint about our room (there were three of us in the room and we did not play music or turn the TV up loud). We were originally told we were in a blocked area for the wedding guests and party but clearly the party was meant to stay and dissipate at the wedding. I found that it was a bit of an annoyance especially when I could hear crying babies through other peoples doors throughout the night and early morning (no one in the wedding party or any guests attended the hotel with an infant) so obviously there was a bit of disorganization upon booking. We were also in a joint room but were not connected to our other booking party (one person booked two rooms) which I found a bit strange. The only other things I did not enjoy include the bizarre smell when we entered, as if the cleaning person used the washroom before leaving our room and the fact that the windows do not open at all. But overall a very nice hotel with wonderful breakfast and accommodation. If you are a young person traveling without children then maybe not the best place if you are looking to continue your fun after your event.

This hotel is always most welcoming and has great staff and service. It's very clean, the beds are very comfortable and the breakfasts (eggs and omelettes cooked to your preference) are excellent. I highly recommend the 519 restaurant just down the road for dining at night , I always look forward to staying here.

I stay at this hotel regularly. I can summarize my review as follows: comfortable, clean, and has everything for a hotel of this category. Breakfast is good, has a good gym and indoor pool. Staff is always very helpful and nice.

New and modern hotel with a corn field beside the parking lot, pillow top mattresses, comfy pillows, wide bench big enough for two suitcases, in the shower were pumps for shampoo and conditioner – first time we've seen that! Very nice feature. Soap dish for the bar soap nice touch (most hotels you have to sit the soap bar on the counter), a towel ring and extra hand towels and washcloths, so nice for washing up when you first get into your room! Breakfast was a surprise – had a chef who made fresh cooked eggs or a personalized omelet in a skillet for each person, lots of ingredients to choose from – bacon bits, mushroom slices, peppers, scallions, etc., two types of cheese. He also had fresh bacon strips and sausages and hash browns. There were china plates and bowls, and steel cutlery rather than plastic, assorted cereals in boxes rather than the container tubes that spill cereal all over, lots of different tables to sit at i.e. booths, tables for four, tables at an outside patio area. Breads, muffins and bagels, etc. When the AC came on in our room, we could smell fresh air as if a window had been opened. Also, when we walked outside we could smell fresh hay in the air (we were there in September). Overall a very nice stay in this modern hotel! We loved it!

Really nice play to stay. Breakfast is terrific. Make your eggs to order. Nice clean appearance of the hotel. Staff is friendly and helpful. Wish I traveled to this area more often. Is conveniently located between my home and the plant I visit.

Staff was professional and knowledgeable overall great .Breakfast is especially enjoyable with fresh cooked eggs or omlettes. Rooms are well appointed with new TV's that have lots of channels. Bath room was large and everything works.

Best Western is a reliable brand. The Plus hotels offer especially good value for the money. They are consistent in comfort, cleanliness and quality of staff. This particular hotel is exceptional in the breakfast offering which consisted of freshly cooked eggs. Boxed cereals were also on offer. Good quality fruit was available. Only missing cooked oatmeal, which might be on offer later in the season.

My son and I visit here once a year and it is really convenient as it is the only such accomodation for many, many miles. The hotel is relatively new and is clean and well-kept. While there are no "surprises" here (good or bad), you can rely on solid comfort, quiet and a decent free breakfast which includes a freshly made omelet with your choice of ingredients. Staff are attentive, friendly and helpful. Very good experience overall.

Stayed here for 1 night for a friend's wedding. By far the best Best Western we have ever stayed at. Every staff member we had contact with at this hotel was helpful, friendly and professional. The hot breakfast included in the stay was fantastic. Made to order omelettes, breakfast meats and they even had gluten free bread available!

newer, attractive, clean hotel. Very clean and comfortable room. Breakfast service and food excellent. Quiet location. Extremely helpful and accommodating staff. Easily the finest hotel in the area. Having had many stays at many hotels the value of this hotel and location is excellent. I would recommend without hesitation to the most discerning of traveler.

As a regular business traveller this hotel is great, newer with excellent rooms, clean and comfortable, everything you may need is within easy distance and the staff are the greatest. Don't miss out on the excellent breakfast, the omelettes are great

Although it is a bit pricey, you definitely get what you pay for! Every staff member I encountered was warm and welcoming and more than willing to help with any questions I might have. My room was absolutely beautiful; the beds and pillows were super comfy! Last, but certainly not least, the breakfast was top notch. They will make you fresh eggs, any style and do it with a smile. My omelette was perfectly prepared each morning. Kudos, Best Western Walkerton!

Visiting the area for a family wedding and chose this hotel because of the location near the wedding venue. Great breakfasts and comfortable rooms made this the very best choice.Has a great swimmig pool on the ground floor.

This hotel is new and offers a fantastic breakfast every morning. Cooked quickly for you while you wait - eggs, bacon, sausage, home fries and omeletes. The staff are friendly and helpful all the time. The rooms were clean, nicely decorated and maid service was fast and efficient. The hotel has a nice small pool and fitness area and there is a bar in the lobby as well. There are lovely adirondack chairs outside to sit on and patio area as well. It is a short drive to a restaurant if you want food, but the room had a fridge and microwave so bringing your own food is also an easy option if you want. All, in all, it was a lovely stay at a nice quiet hotel with a large corn field across the street!

I have stayed at many Best Western Properties. The Walkterton locations is now one of my favourites. The service was excellent and one of the best breakfasts. They have a breakfast cook at your service.

The hotel was the best Best Western I have ever stayed at. Excellent in every regard! Customer service, staff, breakfast and breakfast area, cleanliness, etc Hotel was full but very little noise that would bother anyone.

The staff was amazing...our room was very clean. The continental breakfast was delicious with a made to order omelette. The grandkids enjoyed the salt water pool. We attended a wedding at this hotel and the reception including the buffet dinner was very well organized and delicious.

The friendly staff greeted us upon our rather late arrival. We were relieved to find the suite very roomy for our family of five. The room was very clean and the beds quite comfortable. there was ample free parking. The free hot breakfast included a fantastic omelet bar, hot pancakes, cereal to please everyone. It made for a great way to start the day.

This is a newer clean higher level hotel.I stay at Best Westerns and this location is better than most. It has a welcoming entrance and a pool a family would enjoy. The rooms are clean, well appointed and quiet. They provide breakfast including hot entrees.It is located on the outskirts of Walkerton away from additional amenities.

Stayed here this past weekend for a wedding just outside of town. Arrived late, while checking in, front desk offered to keep gym unlocked for a friend inquiring. Woke up for breakfast at 7am surprised to see an egg bar. The cook, or kind woman in charge, whipped us up omelettes! Was more then pleasently surprised. We also extended our check-out by 2 hours with no extra charge. Highly recommend staying here.

I spent the night here with my two girls (2 and 4). The hotel was efficient, affordable and comfortable. We stayed over the long weekend and it had a family friendly vibe. The service was wonderful, with ALL of the staff exemplifying outstanding service standards. One thing to note is that there is not an onsite restaurant. Aside from breakfast guests need to go off the premises for meals.

Really loved the room freshner fragrance, also when i asked the check out staff which is it, she took another step to find it out for me and from where they got it. Amazing...evryone in staff was willing to help with a smile.

We stayed for 2 nights July 28-30th, we were in town for a wedding and this hotel by far exceeded our expectations. I have stayed in many hotels before from 3-5+ star and I can honestly say that even the 5 stars could take some advice from this hotel - check in girl was extremely friendly and accommodating, breakfast was included and this was a HUGE bonus - the gentleman cooking on Sat morning was an amazing at his job, friendly and an excellent cook, same with the lady on sun morning. If you are looking for a very clean, friendly and all around good hotel with some basic amenities then this is it. I can honestly say I believe everyone that we encountered at this hotel must enjoy their jobs and it shows through in their actions. Keep up the great work!

WE arrived late into the evening and were still able to enjoy a drink from the bar before retiring. The hotel was very clean, staff very supportive and caring and the breakfast omelettes are absolutely MAGNIFICENT !!!

My husband and I did the Explore the Bruce passport and we stayed at the Best Western in Walkerton. It is an excellent place to stay. Very friendly staff, Super comfortable beds, Breakfast was great had many different things to eat. Very clean inside and outside. And you get lots of pillows. Would definately stay here again.

We stayed at the Best Western Walkerton for 2 nights in July whilst attending a wedding nearby. On arrival we were greeted by a friendly and welcoming receptionist. Check in was quick and easy. We stayed in room 216 which had 2 queen beds, a small kitchen area and a full bathroom with a shower bath combo. Complimentary breakfast in the morning was simple yet functional. the seating area was quite small considering the amount of rooms the hotel accommodated. Overall we had a pleasant stay in the hotel, although we will never be in the area again, we would happily recommend this hotel to those who are passing through.

-The room and hotel were very modern -The room was quiet and the beds were comfortable -Breakfast came with the room and it included an omelet bar -We found it to be a great location for heading off north to Tobermory, Lions head etc.

Stayed here for 4 nights and recommend this hotel. The staff were all great, friendly and helpful. The rooms were big, clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfasts is very good! Stay here for sure!

Stayed at this hotel for a friend's wedding and thought it was great. It was good value, the room had everything we needed and the staff were all really friendly. Would recommend it to anyone staying in the area.

This is the second time we have stayed at the Best Western Plus in Walkerton Ontario. It is an outstanding hotel with excellent service, amenities, staff, decor and breakfast. We highly recommend it. Top notch.

Excellent value for the price, staff are friendly and accommodating, breakfast is cooked to order in the morning, beds are very comfortable. Rooms are nicely appointed and hotel is in a nice quiet area outside of town. Definitely the best option in Walkerton and area.

I stay here often for business. The rooms are really clean with a flat screen tv, fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The decor is new and stylish. The suites have a bit more room with a couch and coffee table. The beds are super comfortable allowing a good night sleep. The breakfast is excellent, including made to order eggs. The hotel is well landscaped and maintained inside and outside. The parking lot is huge with lots of parking. The staff are always very professional, courteous and friendly.

so i drunkenly stumble into the best western in walkerton expecting some 90s throwback hotel and i'm met with a sleek, clean, modern front foyer. so now i realized i'm the one who's the schmuck stumbling in like the worst boyfriend ever at the family dinner. the concierge was so nice and accommodating and even laughed at the stupid jokes i know were not funny. the room was fantastic. great AC, nice tv, nice wood furnishings without a scratch on them. clean, fresh bed and bedding. I passed right the freak out like this was my Toronto Loft. And my walk of shame the next morning was epic. The concierge at my checkout went to double check the room to refund my deposit and totally discovered I accidentally left my skin cream behind. I have a skin condition. But this bottle was a costco sized bottle of what appeared to be generic lotion. dude staying in a hotel for a night, walks in drunk, concierge finds enormous lotion bottle...doesn't take nassa to do that math. but they actually brought it down at the front desk for me, WITH THEIR HANDS! however i was thrilled to get my skin cream back. but THAT deserves a positive review. I had a great time and honestly, i was humbled that i would normally snub my nose at a best western when this was maybe an even better experience than what i would've had at a hilton or equal. from now on I'm going to be more open minded and look for a best western.

Stayed 4 nights at this hotel and were Extremely pleased. The hotel was extremely clean and the staff were very helpful and pleasant. Excellent breakfast, used laundry facility which was open 24/7, clean and great machines

Returning again this weekend for another Lawn Bowling Tournament in Hanover. Looking forward to the accommodations. Very spacious and quiet room. Our team had adjoining rooms. Bed very comfortable. Glad to have a fridge and microwave in the room.

Everything was better than expected. However, I thought the price was a tad on the high side for our family of 5. Not sure if it was inflated for that particular weekend (Kincardine Scottish Festival) but it seemed steep in comparison to others. That said, I would probably stay there again in future. Breakfast bar was superb! If you need to, they will open it early on request.

We were in Hanover for a lawn bowling tournament and needed a place to stay. The rooms are well appointed, each with a microwave and mini-fridge, beds are comfortable (pillows are not, so you may wish to bring your own) and the property is clean and well kept. Small pool but nice. Staff are very helpful. Given that the tournament started at 7:30 am, they opened the breakfast bar early so all of the bowlers could eat. Full breakfast served (no stale donuts and instant coffee here) with omelets, eggs as you like them, bacon, sausages, hash browns, yogurt, cereal, toast, fruit and the automatic conveyor-belt pancake machine were real pluses. Also, we have a service dog that was accommodated without question. Fantastic stay. Hope to do it again soon (provided that my husband can win another district championship).

In the middle of no where, this hotel comes out to be nothing less than a very pleasant surprise. Highly recommend. The breakfast was amazing with omelette bar with fresh real eggs. Worth the money :)

From the moment you walk through the front entrance you will know you made the right choice. Spacious lobby entrance with friendly and helpful staff to greet you. Room was large, clean and comfortable. Bar area is really designed for breakfast; but the hotel has a good wine selection and my son and I sat and talked until midnight without any pressure from staff to order more, or to leave. The breakfast was noteworthy as it included hot, made to order omelettes. Overall, this was a great experience and worked out very well for why we were visiting Walkerton.

Was here for a business evening last week and was thrilled with the service and the quality of this place. It is highly rated and that is even more amazing as it is in a very small Ontario town that is easily overlooked. There was a beautifully cooked beef roast and a steamed succulent salmon in a delicate white sauce. Quite delicious. Service was prompt, friendly and efficient- all in all a splendid evening

An excellent hotel on the edge of Walkerton, a quiet rural setting just off a main highway, restaurants and shopping are close by. There's a pool, fitness centre and a business centre with computers and printer. The employees are very welcoming and make your stay most enjoyable. The beds are very comfortable and the included breakfast is one of the best around.

Nice, clean hotel, perfect for business travel within the Walkerton area. Great restaurant - Table and Pour nearby with excellent food and very friendly staff. Would stay at this hotel again for business.

We stayed here as it was recommended. It's a newer hotel, so very clean and comfortable. The room was spacious and comfortable. The heating and cooling system was very loud and you were either cold or hot during the night. Bed was comfortable. One of the best breakfast stations that we have had in a hotel setting. They special made omelette's for you. Very nice option. Price was a little on the high side.

Best Western Walkerton Hotel was absolutely beautiful. Everything you would ever want is available to you! The rooms are beautifully decorated and the beds are very comfortable...and a plus very quiet! Can on business but would certainly come again for pleasure!

This is the only nice hotel in the area! Not only is it it nice it has great rooms and the salt water float pool is great. The outside areas with chairs and tables and seats with foot stools are awesome to watch nature.

The hotel is 5 years old and still looks new. It has the best breakfast ever. Eggs or omelettes are made to order. It comes with potatoes, bacon and sausage. The staff is very friendly. I highly recommend this hotel.

My clients and I had a very early start. The staff was up at 4 AM to prepare an excellent breakfast for us. We were greeted with smiles and enthusiasm . The entire experience was excellent, from the clean modern lobby, to the spotless rooms and the very comfortable beds

The hotel is very clean and well kept. the rooms are very clean and quiet. Breakfast is one of the better ones that I have had compared to other hotels. Overall a great hotel and all the staff are excellent to deal with.

Breakfast was unreal, full breakfast. They will cook you an omelette or eggs how you like them. Rooms were clean and cozy. Beds were above average and comfortable. The staff is very caring and even gave the room a call to make sure everything was on par with our stay. Overall would tell anyone to stay here.

I was so impressed with my room I told my business partner I thought I was the first customer to use the room. After diner, I asked the staff member at the reception when they opened up. 5 years! The entire hotel is spotless and smells new, all furniture is in mint condition. The breakfast is incredible. A chef cooks eggs for you however you like them. Very impressive!

Absolutely fantastic experience from check in to check out. All staff was exceptionally pleasant and accommodating. Went for a wedding anniversary and the amenities were all fresh, modern and clean. The Chef, who cooked all the food apparently, was fantastic. Been to a ton of weddings and this food could easily keep up with any of the other 'higher' end venues. Very impressed. Would definitely recommend.

A family wedding anniversary brought us to this very rural area. The hotel hosted the reception. It was amazing! All of the staff were very friendly and accommodating. The hotel is brand new and more than we expected. The bed was incredible - had a great sleep. Nice pool and patio.

If ever in Walkerton stay here. The staff are friendly, the rooms are comfortable and they have great breakfasts that include a chef making real omelettes with real ingredients... not reconstituted. A bit pricey but worth it.

Clean, quiet, restful. Even the heating in the room was very quiet. Staff went out of their way to make breakfast really good, even though there were few guests that night. Big sign made it easy to find.

I travel across Canada and the US.. This hotel is one of my favorites. Located in the country just east of Walkerton you have that out of town freedom to walk and roam and yet are within easy access of restaurants and entertainment. The 510 Pub and Grill is within easy walking distance and it is a 10/10 dinning experience featuring locally grown produce..

Once and a while you come across a place that really deserves more stars than I can give here on this form. This is certainly such a place. We stayed here for a family function in the area the next day. Dealing with staff while booking the rooms was a delight. Not sure how many rooms we needed they booked out 10 rooms and gave approximately 3 weeks to confirm how many were needed. Such a nice timeline to have. We booked 6 rooms and they were they gave us the hospitality suite for free. The room was nice, comfortable and very clean. A wonderful bed. All of our rooms were close to each other and just across the hall for the hospitality suite. In the morning the breakfast was great. It was cooked to order. Omelettes, cooked to order eggs,bacon, sausage and potatoes. Not your average free breakfast most hotels now offer. When checking out they asked how everything was and we said great. Then they asked what could they do to have made our stay better. That says it all about this place will definitely be back if ever in the area again.

My wife and I stayed here a few years ago on our wedding night. The "honeymoon" suite was great. King size bed, extremely comfy and wonderful. The salt water pool was very enjoyable and the brunch was out of this world. The only thing that wasn't positive was the size of the jet pool in the room was way too small. Definitely not built for normal sized people.

Great place to stay ... on par for quality & value to large cities! Bonus is the efficient & genuinely friendly staff ... don't get that in the Big City! Having part of your breakfast cooked for you is an excellent touch!

I was very impressed with the staff and rooms. The bed was very comfortable, good assortment of channels. This hotel provides breakfast eggs bacon sausage and other assortments of food. I enjoyed the breakfast. The only con I can give this hotel was the price it was $170 a night, but I would pay that again to receive a good night sleep.

I've been staying at this hotel regularly for about 4 years now and it has always been an enjoyable experience. All of the employees go out of their way to ensure expectations are met. Hotel access is good, just off Hwy 4, and the parking lot is well lit. The hotel is in a quiet location on the east side of Walkerton. There are several reasonable eating establishments close by and this hotel serves an excellent full service breakfast cooked to your order. The rooms and common areas have always been very clean. I always look forward to staying there.

The friendly staff were so helpful, they exceeded all my expectations! They recommended a few great restaurants in the area, offered suggestions or helpful ideas of things to do around town. This location seems to be a newer hotel but the guest experience will be a lasting one!

This is a newer hotel. Queen suite was fantastic. Lots of room with the jacuzzi tub in the bedroom. Could watch tv and enjoy the bubbles. The bed was very comfortable. Nice to have the shower seperate from everything else and plenty big.

I always say that you know you're at a great hotel when you forget that you're at a hotel. I really enjoyed my stay here. I was staying at the Best Western Plus for business. The hotel is very modern and well kept. The rooms are spacious and comfortable. I was very surprised by how soft the bed linens were. Even softer than the ones I have at home! I really enjoyed the fitness centre. Had everything I needed. I was really surprised by the amazing breakfast options. When I went for the complimentary breakfast I was greeted by a chef who asked how I wanted my eggs, and then she cooked them right there in front of me! I wasn't expecting this at all. Fresh eggs! Yes, please! The breakfasts and coffee are really better than even some of the top hotels. All the staff were really friendly and easy going. One thing that didn't surprise me, the numerous awards the hotel has received. And they are conveniently on display at the main entrance. Well deserved indeed. You can certainly tell that there's thought and care put into this facility. I would stay here again. :)

They get a lot of out of town hunters here, so they cater to them with a mud room, a place to wash and store dirty clothes, and an extra-early breakfast! Very much appreciated. Very friendly staff too.

We stayed on a weekend and had to get a suite as all other rooms were booked. The hotel is clean and modern. The breakfast was good but not enough seating room and the wait was quite long as they have only one person cooking all the eggs to order. The kids liked the pool but said it was pretty small and a bit slimy. I don't think it gets used a lot. The suite we were in was right over the front entrance foyer and all night long I could hear a fairly loud, intermittent, rumbling noise which I thought was the sliding door at the entrance. The staff told me they keep that door open at night so maybe it was the elevator I was hearing. I'd stay again if necessary but definitely not on the weekend in a suite for $240.

Stayed at the BW again when back to the area for business, very impressed with the hotel, great mattress and room amenities, the breakfast bar was excellent with a choice of fresh eggs/omlette plus the usual at a continental breakfasts

Beautiful new hotel, very clean and modern. The staff we met were all very friendly, helpful and courteous. One of the best breakfasts we have had at a hotel. They cook your eggs/omelet fresh for you. Would definitely stay again when up in that area.

A Nice discovery... Modern hotel with comfy beds and sheets. A little more expensive then usual for a best western but worth the price just for the breakfast! A lovely lady made us à Nice omelette just like a all inclusive resort ?? Very good service at réception also. We Will be coming back for sure every year on our way to meeting!!!

The hotel was tastefully decorated and modern. The staff was very friendly and helpful. They had menus of restaurants around the area for us to make a good choice for dinner. The breakfast was great. Breakfast was included....made to order omelets. Unexpected and very good.

Excellent hotel, building and staff. But you have to check about the objective of your stay and distances. If for vacation and want to see Collingwood/Wasaga or Tobermory/Bruce Peninsula, it is in the middle but far from both (125/150 km and lot of time on roads, 2 hours each side). But at the end of the day, when coming back, tired, but absolutely no doubt about the excellent quality of your stay...and you have discovered the region, you would not do...if not in Walkerton...Food for though !

We stayed at the Best Western in Walkerton in mid July for our son's wedding in Mildmay Ontario. Bonnie and her staff were exceptional in their service and accomodations provided. We hosted the rehersal dinner at the Best Western on the Friday evening before the wedding. Again everything was outstanding, from food to service. We had a number of friends stay here which took up about 40 of the rooms in the hotel. Everyone was very impressed. The morning breakfast station was a big hit after the wedding. Would recommend this location highly. Also if you are looking for a nice spot for a great dinner and drinks within walking distance, try 519 Table and Pour.

My wife and I attended a wedding reception here and where plestantly surprisesd. This venue was top knotch. When you go to a wedding you expect an ok mass meal typical for a big gathering. Well to mine and eveyone elses surprise we where treated to a culinary delight. Fressh warm exotic rolls at our tables, potato salad with bacon, hot local vegtable medaly and perfect roast. chicken or excellently roasted prime rib of beef. desert: Jumbo sized Straw Berries, Blue Berries and the bigest rasberries I,ve ever seen in my life. A wide variety of sweets to be had. This was an all round excellent presentation. My personal hat off to the Chef and his staff. Thanks! This truly was one of the highlights that we will temember from this wonderful celebration.

What a beautiful hotel!! A friend of ours was getting married in Walkerton and this hotel gave a discount to everyone there for the wedding. The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, the rooms were beautiful and clean and the breakfast was a cut above!!

Good size room with a great king size bed. 3rd floor ... very quiet. Great hot breakfast served (included in room rate). Good location off highway and just a very short drive to downtown Walkerton. Would stay again for sure.

this bw was opened about 3 years ago it is easy to drive to the room was a standard size with fridge microwave tv and a king size comfortable bed the breakfast was a menue my choice was 2 eggs scrambled with sausage and hash brown the toast pastries was help yourself all you can eat checkin and checkout was fast and courteous we received a call from the front desk enquiring in everything in the room was to our satisfaction that was a first time we received a call this was a very comfortable hotel and highly recomwnded

Beautiful hotel and very well maintained. A bit pricey, but at least it exceeded our expectations in cleanliness, size of room, and amenities. Disappointed the free breakfast start time was changed from the normal 6am to 7am due to the Holiday Monday. There were 5 of us who were so looking forward to a specially made hot breakfast. We left at 7:05 and saw other guests having a great-looking breakfast.

Great service, nice clean rooms. Pool was great for the kids and the adults. Nice work out room. Also loved the bath and body works lotion and shampoo and conditioner! Staff was extremely friendly and contacted me promptly when I left things in the room upon checkout.

Always stay at a BW when it is in the area. This new hotel in Walkerton Ontario is a real gem. Great staff and a nice quiet area. Can't wait to try the new restaurant close by and run by someone who knows the hotel. Great conference center although we had not used it.

Rooms are clean and the beds are comfortable. They were very accommodating and friendly with a good breakfast. The only downside is the location, which is outside of town. The nice thing about the location is if you sit outside you have a nice view of the country living. We will definitely stay there again!!!

The is a smallish boutique hotel with only 60 rooms. It was fully booked and, with one receptionist, checkin had a bit of a line but they were efficient and oh SO pleasant. Phone requests had been noted and were accommodated Located in a rural area outside of downtown so not all that convenient. Lobby was sparkling clean and modern. Indoor pool is small but was basically empty during our stay. Rooms are bright, clean, well appointed and comfortable -especially the beds. Our room was exceptionally quiet. Friendly and helpful staff make a pleasant stay. They greet you in the morning like they are happy to see you. And the free breakfast is awesome- juice, 3 kinds of muffins, cereals,banana chocolate chip cookies, fresh fruit,toast and coffee.In addition, they will custom make an omelet or eggs with bacon,sausage and home fries. And I used my 1st ever pancake machine. At the press of a button, it delivers 2 crepe- like pancakes. Our stay left us wanting for nothing and looking for some excuse to return to Walkerton.

We stayed here for one night this past weekend for our trip up to Tobermory to see The Grotto at Bruce Peninsula National Park. All the surrounding hotels in Tobermory were either fully booked, or lacked a swimming pool (which was an absolute requirement per my children), so we ended up in Walkerton at the Best Western Plus that was 1.75 hours away. Very glad we stayed here though. The staff are all very friendly and helpful. The room was spacious and well appointed. I was surprised that it was a full suite, and having that extra sofa bed was a bonus (my boys aren't big fans of sharing a bed). The hotel was quite busy the night we stayed - I believe there was some sort of convention - and it did get rather loud at night with some intoxicated adults chatting outside our windows and through the halls. It wasn't enough to warrant a call down to front desk to complain, however, and by 1am it dissipated anyway. The next morning, we went down bright and early for breakfast, which was included in the price of the hotel stay. I was expecting a very generic (and cold) continental style breakfast, but was pleasantly surprised that they had hot/fresh food offerings, including eggs made to order. We went for our swim after breakfast, and the pool was deserted, so we got to swim in (relative - the pool is right at the elevator exit) privacy. The pool is nothing to write home about - fairly small, and no hot tub. But the pool area temperature was kept nice and warm,and the water temperature was comfortable (even for our 4 year-old). The facilities were kept clean and tidy, and towels were well stocked. Overall, we had an excellent stay, and would not hesitate to come to this Best Western Plus again if we're in the area. The price may have been on the high side for a chain hotel of this calibre, but that may be summer pricing, and I can't say that I felt I didn't get my money's worth.

Great room, well appointed. Showers have great water pressure. The staff from check in (Amy) to the morning staff (Sarah) were fantastic. Highly recommend this hotel. The free breakfast offered was wonderful too many options to list. Great location easy to find. Beds and pillows were very comfortable.

We came to the Brockton area to explore some family genealogy and this place proved to be a great location and a nice respite from driving around all day. Staff was good, room was comfortable. I always try to get a room on the top floor as to avoid unnecessary noise from the people in the unit above you as they walk around.

Six of us went on a family trip to see the area our ancestors had settled in before immigrating to the States. I booked on line and fortunately it was an excellent choice. The staff were so accommodating. All we had to do was mention something and they were right there. Breakfast was very good especially the made to order eggs. Beds were VERY comfortable. Location was good easy to get to and to find our way around.

This hotel is very comfortable and as clean as a whistle! Breakfast was delicious too. Beds are comfortable and HVAC for the room was very responsive, which is not always the case even in five star hotels.

We had an awesome room - double beds, coffee maker, so clean & fresh smelling. Breakfast was part of booking and it had a good selection and staff member to cook your eggs how you like them. We used the indoor pool - we saw the fitness area again clean.

I found this hotel to be an easy access hotel to major highways just outside of downtown area in Walkerton. I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of hotel. The staff were quite friendly. The hotel offers a full hot breakfast including customized orders for eggs and omelettes.

Great hotel, wonderful staff, made us fell welcomed. Having a chef make your omelet to your liking is a very nice little extra I was not expecting. Pool area was good but I would of liked to have a hot tub in the pool area. Overall an excellent experience and I will be back.

This hotel is a gem. So many unexpected extras Room was spacious, clean. Lots of extra towels, comfortable beds and bedding. Individual heat controls which is a bonus. Buffet breakfast with made to order omelettes and lots of other foods to choose from. Late check out offered which was fantastic and allowed to stay in breakfast area working on laptop while waiting for my son to finish his course. Such a bonus !!! Five star for sure

We stayed her for 4 days...everything was absolutely wonderful/ excellent! Our room was very clean, and the rest of the hotel also. The front staff, breakfast, and cleaning staff, were very friendly and accomodating! Their breakfast buffet is delicious, with many choices, even omelettes ( eggs) " made to order"! Very good! Our room was quiet. I highly recommend this hotel....we will be returning! " Thank you to everyone for making our stay so enjoyable "!

We stayed at this Hotel for a Business Event that was planned there. The facility was spotless and the Staff were extremely friendly. The breakfast was included in our stay and everything was fresh and hot. We would definitely stay here if We are in the area again.

All staff were incredibly helpful, friendly and attentive. Hotel was very clean and everything worked well right down to water draining in the shower (which doesn't always happen in a lot of hotels). Swimming pool was great, breakfast was really good and fast. No complaints whatsoever about the experience.

Ideally suited if visiting Walkerton Clean Water Centre and makes for a beautiful walk going into centre of town. Has exercise room and pool and spacious lobby area for sitting. Staff are very cheerful and genuinely friendly. They cook breakfast to your order, not like Holiday Inn Express where you make your own pancakes with those awful pancake machines. Very clean rooms, but room airconditioners need their own fan speed adjustments, it's too noisey when your trying to sleep.

This hotel is fairly new. They are already building an addition. I stay here for business regularly. It is always very clean. Front counter and breakfast staff are friendly and helpful. Always smiling and seem to enjoy being there. Rooms are clean and well furnished. Great place to stay with great staff.

Excellent staff, service and food. The amenities were splendid. I would recommend this hotel to my peers and others and will surely re-visit (stay) there again should I be in the area. I took a chance out of my normal choice to stay at Best Western and I surely did NOT regret it.

I almost didn't stay here because there were so many other options at privately owned inns that were much less expensive. However, in the end I picked it because I knew the brand and I could book online. The place was a little out of the way from the downtown core and eating establishments. The hotel was very clean and everything well explained at the check in. We decided to take advantage of the breakfast bar in the morning, something we rarely do because we like real, fresh food. This place actually had great, real food!! And the staff that was there to attend to the guests were very polite and welcoming. That made the extra cost and awkward location quite worth it.

Absolutely a fantastic place to weather a snowstorm although I'm not sure why the bartender had to serve scotch with a mix but it went down alright with a water mix. The breakfast is second to none and the rooms were impeccable.

This hotel is new bright and well kept. The king sized room is large and well furnished. The hotel lacks warmth, character and basic amenities such as a restaurant. The breakfast and bar area are a tiled extension of the lobby. There are also small things that are missing. The bathroom does not have the usual array of shampoo confident and lotions. Instead there are dispensers and a sign to ask at reception for anything needed. I asked for a shoe cleaner (it is winter) the staff were helpful and friendly but could not provide one. The breakfasts are good but you serve yourself. The hotel only orders a few copies of the Star Newspaper and no Globe and Mail so if you are not down early you are out of luck. Not good enough for a hotel at this price point.

Stayed at the hotel over the Christmas holidays for a wedding. The hotel is beautiful. Very clean and modern looking. The rooms are great, a nice size and there is a wonderful breakfast included. What makes this hotel truly stand apart however is the service of its staff. All of the staff that we interacted showed a great amount of care. Upon arrival we realized that my bag had not been packed in the car which included my dress for the wedding that was less then an hour out and all I had on was sweatpants and a hoodie. The front desk staff quickly pointed me in the direction of the closest open store, checked to ensure it was open and that I knew how to get there. When I came running back into the hotel with only 5 minutes to get ready they had my room key ready and asked if I needed any help or if there was anything they could do to help make the process quicker. The wait staff at the wedding were also incredible. Polite and accommodating, I had asked if possible if I could get a glass of milk with dinner and they said absolutely. They also were aware of each dinners experience, they noticed that one of the older gentlemen wasn't eating his dessert and inquired if everything was okay. He responded that he was sure it was delicious however he couldn't eat it due to an allergy, the waitress quickly found out what he could have disappeared into the back and came out with a wonderful fruit bowl for him to enjoy. I feel like the staff at this hotel goes above and beyond to ensure that your stay is a great one no matter what the circumstance. I will defiantly be back if in the area and would strongly recommend if you're looking for a hotel.

Great hospitality, good amenities, great breakfast.. oh my.. the food is wonderful and the front desk clerk re-printed my music lyrics for me in a larger font so I would be able to read them at a distance the next day when I had to sing at a family wedding... they make you feel at home..!!! very important.. since I am a travel professional and I visit many hotels in my business, and inspect many.. this one is one of the best!!!

This is really the only hotel worth looking at if you are staying in Walkerton. We stayed here for one night in December 2015 with 2 children and the room we got had 2 queen beds and was very large. It was very clean and had amenities like microwave, free wi-fi, television and fridge. After we checked in we received a call about 10 minutes later asking how the room was. That was a nice touch. The breakfast in the morning was fantastic, it's not often that your "free breakfast" includes fresh made eggs with all the fixings. We also used the pool and it was quiet and clean. There were free towels in the area and it was just a great time overall. We would certainly recommend this hotel and will stay here again.

I frequently stay at this property. Rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable. Staff are excellent; very friendly and welcoming. Great choice for the business traveler. Close to both Hanover and Walkerton.

Initially, we thought the prices a bit steep for a Best Western, however, the hotel is clean and quite new. The breakfast was outstanding with a chef ready to cook your eggs any way you liked. The staff was friendly and more than helpful - printing off a map of directions for some members of our family, recommending services that we needed, making phone calls for information. We were here for our son's wedding and a number of our family and friends stayed here too. We would definitely stay here again.

It is one of the best chain hotels that I have ever been to. Stayed there for three nights and have no complains at all. Highly recommended to everyone. Clean rooms and great breakfast. Front desk staff is very friendly and helpful.

This hotel is fairly new, very clean and comfortable. Has a nice lounge/breakfast area off the lobby and a newly built meeting and conference centre. I was impressed with the service and the hot breakfast was excellent. There is a nice clean pool and fitness area.

This is a favorite hotel of mine. Confirmation emailed to me and invoice received by email before leaving in the morning. Everyone is always very friendly. Rooms are clean and fresh. Great breakfast with eggs made to order. The egg white omelet with my favorite fixings is the best way to start my day. Not a lot of hotels to choose from in the area but the is a pleasant addition to n man's land.

Best Westerns are not usually a top of mind choice for a nice place to stay. I can say this property is so nice. Its new and super clean, however the staff are fantastic from start to finish. The free breakfast is also very impressive.....omelette chef! Great job....if I ever stay in Walkerton again, I won't think twice about staying here again.

After years of nothing too much in Walkerton, isn't it nice to have an excellent place to say. OK, there are still B&Bs which are good too, but I never thought that this option would come to this area. Make it your next stay in the area and see for yourself.

Very clever to put a major chain hotel in Walkerton because it was fully booked the Tuesday night I stayed there. As indicated in previous reviews, it is new and clean. The king room I had was basic in that it had all the amenities I was looking for - clean, comfortable bed, places to put stuff on and places to charge up my gadgets. The bathroom was not spacious but functional and well lit plus ventilated. The towels are large and thick if somewhat stiff (maybe because they are new or from industrial cleaning). The windows do not open and the TV is mounted on the wall but does not adjust. To get a direct view you have to sit on the bed. My room was opposite the elevators which is not my preference but there were no noise issues. The third floor view was of agricultural land. The staff were very friendly and accommodating making sure to ask you had everything needed for a comfortable stay. Breakfast can be made to order if you want eggs, bacon and/or sausage. If not, there is a selection of cereals (in small boxes) plus muffins. Coffee is okay - not outstanding but okay. There is also a pool and a smallish exercise room with three pieces of equipment and basic free weights. It's new so in good shape. Towels are plentiful. Located on the edge of town, this hotel offers basic modern accommodations at a reasonable price. The Walkerton Clean Water Centre is literally around the corner so it is very convenient for anyone taking training there. No pets permitted.

The hotel was in excellent condition, the room very clean, comfortable, roomy, and very well decorated. Bedding and towels were no disappointment. An in room coffee service and 'fridge were available as well as tv and other services such as a mud room for your boots. Don't know if this could be classed as a luxury hotel, but everything in it was first rate! The staff were extraordinarily helpful and as an added bonus there was a 5am HOT breakfast available as we needed to get out and set up early. We were all impressed and would highly recommend this hotel. We stayed on the first floor facing the parking lot ( we weren't there for the view). If you want a view (this is in farming country), there are 3 floors, so if that is what you want, see if you can get an upper floor. The pool is heated, unsupervised, 4 feet deep, so no diving, but it is well cared for. There is also a small exercise room. There is no dining room but has a small bar. The local restaurants are nearby, small, and have great pub type food. This hotel has great value.

This is a lovely hotel - brand new and top knotch quality. The staff are very friendly and professional. Rooms are clean and beds are very comfortable. From one Best Western employee to another - kudos on a job well done. I would definitely recommend this hotel and stay here in the future.

On our drive from Sault Ste. Marie to Niagara Falls we stopped into this hotel -- what a nice hotel! So clean, roomy and comfortable. As always at Best Western, bed, bedding, towels did not disappoint. Front end staff with quick, efficient, polite and helpful. The hotel is on the outskirts of Walkerton and was very quiet. The morning brunch was very tasty and with lots of choices. I cannot eat eggs and did not leave hungry or disappointed. Highly recommend a stay, if in the area.

in town for a wedding and found everything here just great breakfast was delicious with alot of variety of foods to choose from pool area was warm and clean beds were comfortable and there was lots of room in the room

Great place to stay over for Business plus would even stay there for personal stay as well. New, kept very clean & very comfortable. Adding Conference Center opening October 2015 can't waiting to see it plus I believe they are adding a kitchen to help with room serve

1st time visit and was thoroughly impressed. Check in was easy. Laura was able to answer my inquiries to local eating establishments as the hotel does not have an insight restaurant. They are licensed so was able to get a beer and enjoy on the front patio. Rooms are spacious and very clean. The free breakfast was incredible. Not the usual continental breakfast. Had a fresh omelette with sausage and bacon. Will definetely be back on my next visit in the area.

Newly built and expanding. Set in the lovely rolling farm hills in Grey Bruce county. Workers are very personable and accommodating. Breakfast options included were more than expected. There was a omelette bar that an employee cooked for us while we prepared toast. Wished I had of stayed longer...very relaxing. Did think the price was high for a country setting.

In the past I've had bad experiences with this hotel chain. Many years later I gave it another try. I was very satisfied. Desk people were nice. The rooms were brand new. The beds were big and comfy. Breakfast options were diverse. The automatic pancake maker was pretty cool. One downfall is that they don't offer single bed rooms so go with someone!
