Best Western Plus Sugar Land/Stafford

❌ UNPROFESSIONAL & AN UNCOMFORTABLE STAY—AVOID THIS HOTEL!I am beyond disgusted by the behavior of the staff at this hotel. I have been staying here since August and have spent over $3,000, yet my privacy was completely violated.While I was away from my room, the hotel staff took it upon themselves to enter without my permission, touch my personal property, and move everything around. All of my heavy, important belongings were neatly stacked on a luggage cart inside my room. Someone came in, dumped everything off the cart, and misplaced my items. I have no idea if anything was tampered with or stolen. It is completely wrong, unprofessional, and illegal to touch a guest's belongings.To make matters worse, the maintenance man is incredibly strange. He constantly follows guests around and pretends to work just to spy on them—including watering the bushes at midnight and walking endless laps around the building until you go inside.I feel incredibly uncomfortable and targeted. I got another cart to secure my things until I check out, and I will gladly take my business elsewhere. DO NOT BOOK HERE!

We can't believe how nice this hotel was. The rooms are so new. The bedding was absolutely the best. The sheets were cool and felt like high end cotton. The staff are so friendly. They offered us water at check in. The breakfast was delicious. The staff at breakfast were happy and helpful. We have found our favorite hotel!

My husband and I got a suite for 5-days while visiting family. It was in a nice quiet location which was close to everywhere we needed to be, with lots of parking. The room was very clean besides a couple stray hairs. I used a few airline miles to get the room down to less than $70 a night. The room was quiet, and a couple times while waiting for the elevator we could hear some guests speaking loudly. Everything was very clean such as the gym, the elevators, and the hallways. We didn't smell any hints of animals even though they are a dog-friendly hotel. We plan to return to this hotel in the future. The lobby has fancy music, the front desk staff were friendly, professional, accommodating, and attentive. Great value. This must be a best kept secret because even on a holiday weekend when it was busy, it wasn't very busy and there were lots of fancy cars in the parking lot, even a Cyber Truck, and they have electric car charging. Our rental car stayed safe the entire time.

One of the best experiences I've had in a long time. Great room. Breakfast was one of the best offering in a hotel. Clean and coffees available in the room and 24/7 coffee in the lobby. Will always use them when traveling.

We landed at this property and stayed for 10 nights. Looked at 4 hotels in the area - chose to be here. Good rooms and the price matched for us well. Great people and nice guests were having breakfast each morning. Felt safe and the feeder road to 69 or 59 is is one turn away.

Long travel day and exhaustion had me trying to find somewhere I could feel safe and rest. I had stopped at another large chain hotel in town but left when informed of extra fees. Although, I am a Best Western member, I had not seen this location before. I was greeted by Shawn and given a brief low down that this hotel had recently been renovated and easily accessible to the interstate. The price quoted had no hidden fees. I signed for the first night. No foul odors. Bed was comfortable. Not overly noisy. The air conditioning worked. There even was a breakfast with waffles. The front desk staff members (especially the young lady whom offered me a fresh Shipley's donut when I mentioned I had not had one in years) were professional, courteous and informative. Since I was traveling alone this time, I also felt safe. I made this my “hub” as I attended events throughout the city. The one night ended up being 4 days! I am keeping this Best Western in my address book!

I was there in October and November. On both occasions, the receptionist was excellent. An excellent and quiet location. Not particularly satisfied with the smell in the hallway/elevator. The room size was just ok. I am not a breakfast person, so I can't speak to that. My only concern is the fact that on both occasions, I never got my $35.00 refundable deposit on checkout. I have reached out to them and was informed to contact my bank, which I did, and the bank informed me that no such refund was made. I am still waiting for my money.

Hotel is very spartan, but clean. However, the A/C units are EXTREMELY noisy -- I changed rooms for this reason, and in my second room, the A/C started making an horrendous racket at 4:30 AM and I was unable to get back to sleep.

- 0 stars…The worst hotel Really dirty—one to the doors in a room has a police notice!!!! Omg! All dirty and smelly I read reviews before going to this place, and I think the persons are speaking about another place because this place sucks! We went in March 2025; the roof was under maintenance, and many places around the building, including the dirty pool, were surrounded by a red plastic cord…There wasn't enough parking, and in general, it was a scary place. The guy in reception was nice and helpful that is the only good thing about the place.

Unfortunately when price is low some times quality just follows. Poor breakfast !!! But also very poor cleaning stats as well. The room was never vacuumed or mopped for almost 5 days. Also a bit noisy at specific times. Reception music can be heard in rooms.

Hotel is modern with great staff. Our family enjoyed our stay! Beds are very comfortable and we enjoyed the breakfast they offer that has plenty of options. They also have a fitness center that was bigger than any other hotel I've been too. The outdoor pool was clean and crystal clear :)

We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights and everything was great! The property is very quiet which allowed my family and I to have a great night's sleep. They even have a hot breakfast with plenty of options. Everything was clean and organized from the moment you stepped into the hotel. The front desk staff was very helpful in providing me with options to visit around the hotel!

Friendly helpful hotel staff, modern clean hotel. The pillows and bed were very comfortable. The outdoor pool was very nice. The free breakfast has a great variety with eggs and a breakfast meat also had bisquits and gravy, Texas shaped waffles along with the usual offerings. Even though there were a lot of guests, it was a quiet atmosphere. I look forward to staying there again

On my recent trip, a return visit to Houston and Sugar Land, I decided to stop in at one of the newer Best Westerns in the area. This new location on I-69/US 59 is quite nice, and it has a sleek, modern lobby. The front office desk had a plethora of good workers who certainly took care of their guests, including myself. What impressed me the most was, they had good dollies, and they were stored in a special section set aside near the elevators rather than keeping them at the entrances like other hotels have. To me, the arrangement at this location works better and ensures that guests will have dollies and have a safer place to put them back so others can use them. As for my room, all in all, it was very good. Very ultra-modern with style, color scheme, and lighting. Bed was nice and comfortable with great pillows. TV actually had very good channel choices. Now, the rooms in this hotel actually have wooden floors. I would have preferred carpeted floors as they're easier to handle and to walk on, but the accommodations offered in the room more than compensated for it, so I managed fine. One quirk, however, was the size of the microfridge. It was a bit smaller than what I would have expected (and have had elsewhere), but since I only stayed two nights, it wasn't that big of an issue. At least, it did keep what beverages I had cold. The shower was good, and I especially liked the three squeeze containers for washes and shampoos. Very useful and good, and they smell good, too. Also on site, you have ample parking, and it covers three sides of the building. The location is very good and there are numerous restaurants and shops within a five-mile radius of this place, and it's in a busy corridor between Sugar Land and Houston. I plan on being back. Come check this place out! It's modern comfort!

Air conditioning was leaking and made a very loud noise that mad it hard to sleep. Does NOT have an iron in the room instead there is a steam machine whichndidnt work very well. Overall the location is very quiet especially during the weekend. It is located in a business district therefore it is safe and had plenty of free parking on the weekends.
