Nice small hotel newly renovated, clean and very good value for money. Excellent kitchen for Indian food. In restaurant very friendly and helpful service especially by Ms. Chon. Location is good, close to central market and tourist locations. Supermarket within 5 minutes by walking.

Very good hotel. Front desk person, Lalit,,was very accommodating. The lady who served us our coffee in the restaurant, Chon, and the guy who served us during dinner, Vishal, were both very efficient. The room is nice and decorated / designed well; quite modern. Housekeeping was very quick to respond to our requests. The only thing lacking is a gym & swimming pool. When booking here, be sure to ask for a room that's away from the street because the noise is quite loud from honking of horns and revving of engines.
Had very good experience in the breakfast place. Chon served us with glad heart and kind gesture for breakfast and Vishal served very well during dinner

We had an excellent 5-day stay at Best Western Maharani Bagh, New Delhi. The hotel offers very good facilities, and our overall experience was extremely comfortable and pleasant. A special appreciation goes to the restaurant team for their outstanding service. Restaurant Manager Sachin, along with Vishal, Pradeep, and Laxmi, were exceptionally courteous, attentive, and helpful throughout our stay. Their warm and professional service made us feel very welcome and made our dining experience especially enjoyable. We would also like to appreciate the security staff for their helpfulness, politeness, and dedication. Their friendly and attentive service was truly appreciated. Overall, the excellent staff, good facilities, and welcoming atmosphere made our 5-day stay memorable. Thank you to the entire team at Best Western Maharani Bagh for making our stay so comfortable. Highly recommended! The location at Maharani Bagh is convenient, with good connectivity to important parts of South and Central Delhi. After a busy day in the city, it was nice to return to a calm and comfortable hotel. Overall, we had a memorable stay and were happy with the hospitality and service. A good option for families looking for a comfortable stay in Delhi. Would definitely consider staying here again.

Nice and central place to stay with admirable breakfast. Other meals and service were very sad and late. Lakshmi at the coffee shop was vigilant and did a great job. Their door card in plastic stopped working some 4 times. You cannot even operate the lift without this card so precious waste of time. Front desk formalities are efficient enough but not fast enough. Good strictly for business. There is nothing here except the coffee shop and central courtyard. We had trouble booking cabs from inside our room so we had to do it at the lobby every time. Remote atmosphere.

Pathetic Experience they also hold me at lobby stating that no rooms available and check in time is 2PM so they didn't give me early checking neither ask for water. No empathy towards guests

We never wish for our guests to wait and always make every effort to provide rooms before our standard check-in time of 2:00 p.m. whenever possible. However, early check-in is subject to room availability. Guests staying the previous night are entitled to retain their room until 12:00 p.m., following which our housekeeping team requires time to thoroughly prepare the room for the next arriving guest. On the day of your arrival, the hotel had been completely sold out the previous night, which limited the availability of vacant rooms. Even so, we reviewed our records and noted that your room was made available and you were checked-in at 1:13 p.m., ahead of the standard check-in time. We are also sorry to learn that you felt unattended while waiting. Although our self-service welcome drink station is prominently placed in the lobby for the convenience of all arriving guests, it appears that it may have missed your attention. At our hotel, we take great pride in extending warm hospitality to every guest, and the continued trust of our many returning guests reflects our commitment to providing a welcoming experience. Convenient as it is located right next to road. Once you are inside it is very peaceful and calm. The rooms are clean and well maintained. Lasmi at the dining area was especially helpful.

The room was spotless, well-lit, and had those small details that actually matter after a long day—good water pressure, clean linens, and a quiet environment for proper rest. The hotel is located right near the Ashram metro which makes it convenient for travel within the city. Also the hotel is quite comfortable with great service. I am absolutely delighted with the breakfast at Cafe Western, where the spread is consistently fresh, sumptuous, and filled with a grest variety of both Indian and Continental favorites. The staff, particularly the attentive and smiling team, made me feel incredibly welcome with their prompt and warm service throughout the meal. 1. Room too cold (only AC available and no heater) 2. Wifi too slow (around 3Mbps - not adequate for Zoom meetings) 3. Hotel staff did not intervene while I was getting scammed by a taxi driver. I booked an Uber ride and completed the full payment via credit card through the app before starting the trip. The driver accepted the ride and completed the journey without issues. However, at drop-off, he claimed the “card payment didn't come through” and aggressively demanded cash payment. The bellboy and receiptionist from the hotel came by to translate, but I was exhausted after a long flight and felt pressured, so I handed over the cash to avoid escalation. The driver demanded ₹850 so I paid the driver ₹1000 in cash, and demanded a change of ₹150. He said he did not have any change, instead the driver said he would send ₹150 via UPI QR to the hotel staff, so that the hotel staff would pay me later after check-in. I later learned that this is a very popular scam by a taxi driver in India. The hotel staff, instead of accepting ₹150 payment from the taxi driver, he could have intervened and ask the taxi driver to stop scamming the guest. The best part? The hotel staff didn't even give me ₹150 that he received from the taxi driver. He only gave me ₹100 after I check-in, and walked away, without even looking.

So The hotel is quite good with all the basic 5 start clealiness and manners ,for travellers i would say that if you want a budget 4 to 5 star experience this is the place to go , The breakfast is spread is not outstanding but just about average and the staff here is well mannered I was assisted by laxmi who was quite cheerful and polite. That said rooms are also very neat clean and the ambience is quite relaxing. I would give it a 4 out 5 expereince With breakfast quality beaing the only downside of this stay P.s -i am a jain vegetarian
We stayed here on the last day of 2025! The check-in process was smooth and hardly took any time. The room was clean and comfortable. A few things like slippers and dental kit were not available in the room but were promptly supplied when asked for. We has dinner in the restaurant as the weather was too cold to go out anywhere! The service was fast and the food tasted very good. We also had the buffet breakfast the next day. It was a decent spread and everything tasted good!! All in all a very comfortable one night stay and definitely recommended for someone looking for a short stay around South Delhi!

Recently I stayed in Best Western Maharani Bagh. Hotel claims to have a “No Smoking” policy, which was only displayed on a small placard at the front desk and inside the room. There was no clear mention of any penalty amount in the booking terms, on website, or in any other communication. Additionally, there was no designated smoking area provided within the property. At the time of checkout, I was unexpectedly charged ₹5,900 for allegedly smoking inside the washroom. For a 3-star property in India, this amount is extremely unreasonable and feels like an arbitrary penalty. If such a policy exists, it should be clearly communicated to guests at the time of booking and displayed prominently in the room and common areas. This lack of transparency and the manner in which the charge was imposed amounts to harassment and creates a very negative impression. Any smoker who are checking this property please read this review before booking this property.

Best Western Maharani Bagh is a 100 percent non-smoking facility, and this is clearly and categorically communicated at multiple touchpoints across the property. The no-smoking house rule is prominently displayed at the front desk, lift landing area, and inside every guest room through tent cards and the in-room hotel directory. In addition, the same policy is mentioned in the registration form that is signed by every guest, including yourself, at the time of check-in and is verbally reiterated by our front desk team upon arrival to avoid any oversight. Furthermore, on all online booking platforms, every room category is clearly marked as non-smoking. To accommodate smokers, the hotel has multiple designated outdoor smoking zones within the property. Non-adherence to this house rule causes significant inconvenience to other guests. When smoking occurs inside a room, we are required to take that room out of order for a minimum of 48 hours to ensure thorough deodorization, deep cleaning, and restoration of freshness. This is essential to maintain a comfortable environment for the next guest, who may be a non-smoker or have sensitivities to smoke. While the penalty amount may appear high at first glance, it is a reasonable charge when compared to the operational impact and revenue loss incurred due to the room being unavailable for at least two days. Our intention is not to penalize unfairly, but to uphold the standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest well-being that we consistently strive to deliver. We take great pride in maintaining our facility and providing a pleasant stay for all our guests. We appreciate your understanding and encourage future guests to review and adhere to the clearly and respectfully stated house rules for a comfortable and hassle-free experience. We stayed at the Best Western Maharani Bagh for a couple of days in October, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. We had a few appointments at Apollo Hospital and it was a very convenient commute there. The staff were consistently attentive and helpful. The food did not disappoint either. We enjoyed every meal and were always attended to promptly and professionally. A special shout-out to Laxmi and Tanu in the dining hall who paid extra attention to my 4-year-old daughter (who absolutely loved them). They played with her and entertained her, making her feel special. We're also grateful to Chandra Prakash from housekeeping who was very responsive and quick to assist with all our needs during the stay. My daughter was thrilled by the “towel animals” crafted for her by Praveen and Chandra Prakash, each day featured a new surprise, which was such a lovely touch. All in all, it was a wonderful stay. Highly recommended — especially for families.

Decent hotel with excellent location since its near CP, Pragati Maidan. I stayed for 3 nights for an exhibition in Pragati Maidan. Rooms are well maintained, clean. Service is good. Breakfast have good enough spread with nice options. Since i came during exhibition so may be tariff was pretty high. Overall good experience.

The food was absolutely delicious and exceeded our expectations. A special mention to Laxmi, who was exceptionally helpful and attentive throughout our visit. Hotel room was very clean, and room service was amazing. Everything was taken care of. The staff were very friendly and hospitable.
