SureStay Plus by Best Western Mesa Superstition Springs

This is the first time I've stayed at this location; it is an older facility that has been totally remodeled in a minimalist decor. the bed was very comfortable. There is an old fashion family diner ( 50's decor) behind the property where we ate both dinner and breakfast everything was very good. Would stay here the next time we are in Mesa, AZ.

To catch an early flight or need an early checkin, avoid this hotel. Refused to allow an early checkin (2pm instead of 3pm) unless $30 early checkin fee—still didn't have room “quite ready” at 3pm even though I explained I just needed a bed & shower to catch a 5am flight…too early to have their free breakfast! Would have been nice to know this policy up front. AND, I didn't use any amenities, not even the parking lot (my brother dropped me off) Perhaps customers should get a discount if they leave 6 hours before checkout but are asked to pay $30 to check in an hour early!! Not very accommodating!

I enjoyed my stay. The breakfast was serve hot, baccon , egg , potatoes. They had strawberry kiwi water, apple juice, orange juice, coffee and water as beverages. They had a waffle maker, blueberry muffins, yogurt, and cereal. So I was highly satisfied with breakfast. The room was clean and beautiful. The staff was hospitable. I'd definitely stay here again.

This can be a good value if you need a hotel for just one night, maybe even two. Front desk staff is nice, breakfast is impressive w/options. It's obvious the property is gradually renovating & the potential of really nice guest rooms is apparent. Overall it's great if you need a room w/storage, fridge & microwave. It's close to a mall & freeways & many restaurants.

This was a last hour reservation as we had to leave our car at a body shop and get a rental. Enterprise was next door and it was easy to make a rental the next am. We have never stayed at a Surestay before. Normally a BW +. I am not sure what this place would have to do to be upgraded but it is close. We stayed in a suite which turned out to be a 2 room, kitchen suite for 2. Would recommend

I was looking for an affordable place to stay overnight due to a late meeting and an early departure to a local attraction, so I chose this property. Upon my arrival, I was greeted by a very charming front desk clerk, Patty, who make our check-in experience very pleasant and provided helpful suggestions for restaurants in the area. Also, due to my planned early check out time for the next morning, Patty arranged for to-go bags containing breakfast items with fresh fruit to be ready for our departure. The room was clean and comfortable. I could not believe the level of comfort and the customer service provided by the staff was available at such a reasonable, affordable rate. I will happily return the next time I am in the area.

Received courtesy call when old credit card on file had not been updated via app. Was able to pay without contempt from front desk clerk. Very accommodating with the error. Extremely welcoming upon arrival and stay. Room was above expectations. Downfall was amount of parking and heavy hotel "floral" scents in hallways. Worth the stay for price, location and service!

This property is conveniently located near a very large Shopping Mall in Mesa AZ, also near a delightful 60's Diner Style Restaurant. Does not have any shuttle service, but if your don't mind walking, the big mall & a convenient local bus staging area can get you almost anywhere in Phoenix area.

Run down, no heated pool even though we emailed and they confirmed yes, old building, lack of care in rooms, breakfast was not admirable, gum and debris on room floor, kids running up and down hallways and slamming doors at 11:30pm, garbage dumpster extremely loud every morning. For what we paid, it definitely was not worth the value of what you get.

We made this reservation as a place to get some rest on our way home from Disneyland after 6 hours of driving and another 3.5 to go, this place was perfect. We arrived around 10pm, the guy checking us in was very nice and we even chit chatted about crazy California traffic. This hotel is tucked behind Superstition Springs Mall, it is very quiet and safe. There is an elevator in the hotel but it was faster and more convenient for us on the 2nd floor to just take the stairs. The room was small but very clean, the AC was ice cold. The beds were very comfortable and pillows were plump. The shower had good pressure and got very hot. Although the glass shower door has a half inch gap all around it so while showering, water leaks all over the floor. The shampoo and conditioner bottles were the smallest things i have ever seen, perfume samples from magazines have more product in them. The TV had great cable reception, no issues with the kids watching their toons. I would definitely recommend this hotel and we would return if we needed another one night stay.

I would like to share that my experience at this hotel has not been satisfactory. Considering the cost, I believe there are better options available that offer greater value for your money. I would recommend exploring alternative hotels for a more enjoyable stay.

This hotel is convenient to large roads and a shopping mall. It is a basic hotel with ok rooms. The window in our room needed cleaning and the outdoor pool and hot tub were closed off during our stay.

Hotel was fine for a night stay or two. Room was small but fine. Only 1 desk chair to sit on except for the bed. Bed was comfy and shower was nice. TV was good and a good selection of channels. Breakfast was ok, but pretty standard. Poor selection of muffins (only chocolate). Price seemed somewhat high for what it was but still lower than some of the other ones in the area.

I have stayed here several times since it's been a Best Western Sure Stay. This time they took my driver's license and made a paper copy of it. If this is a new policy I will not return. Other than that, my stay was okay - decent room, decent breakfast,

On vacation from 12/11 - 12/16 and stayed at this hotel. Came back to room at around 9:30 pm and discovered room had not been serviced! No clean towels, bed not made, trash not taken out. Went to desk to get clean towels and was told cleaning crew had noticed "Do not disturb sign" was on door, so they didn't do anything! We did have sign out, but when we left room around 10 am I put sign inside door! Front desk gave us a bag full of soap, conditioner and shampoo; in an effort to make us feel better! Next day room serviced properly. Next day room serviced but bed not made! The last night we get to room around 7pm and room serviced, but my personal items were missing! My shampoo, my soap and plastic soap travel container were gone! Went to desk and was told manager had just left and he couldn't do anything. Had to make trip to store to get my preferred soap and container. Checked out next morning!

Noisy room. Unfriendly staff. I will never go back. Sad that this is a best western facility. I was not able to sleep due to hallway noise that echoed in my room due to no carpet on the floor. Don't bother with this place

I rented hotel as it had a pool. Informed on check in it was not open. Hmmmm. Change your online ad. It's 85 during the day. I'm from Canada. That's pool weather. Elevator shut down 2nd day. I was on 3rd floor. Hmmm.

Stayed here for 5 days, while a family member was in nearby hospital. The sheets were noticeably softer than any hotel I think I've been in, and the bed was wonderful. Great place to come back to during rough period of time.

Hotel clean and comfortable. Check in person gave me different check-in procedures relative to timing as apposed to the person taking my reservation over the phone (BTW - the person taking the reservation was outstandingly good!).

Parking is plentiful and the spaces are large. Breakfast includes eggs, sausage and/or bacon/hash browns fresh waffles and lots more. Rooms are spacious and smartly planned and kept clean. Rooms have fridge, microwave, coffee maker, plentiful lighting, office chair, desk/dresser, closet and more. This hotel is an unbeatable value as well.

Friendly receptionist and clean place with all necessary amenities. Fair price for what is offered .the breakfast is outstandingly complete for a hotel of that category. BUT: Our room was not made up after first night and the pool was not open the first day …no reason given although outside temperatures were 110 F! No discount or such given!

Everything was great. Room was clean. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was good. Breakfast had a good variety of selections. The only negative was the shower door leaked water all over the floor. I would definitely stay here again.

Poor support at check in for an Elite Member. Dirty floor in room Sink didn't drain This is AZ, AZ unit cycled every couple minutes and room did not stay cool No one at check out at 8:30am on a Friday. Never receive my bill by email This Hotel is not Best Western Qualitry

Room was simple but was clean. Staff was friendly and allowed early check in which was needed for one family member. There was free breakfast which was simple but excellent. The staff lady was constantly cleaning and made sure there was always food out. I asked for a quiet room so was given one on the Mall side so it was quiet. The other side had a McDonald's across a driveway so I imagine those rooms might be noisier.

TVs never work here. The staff May 6, 2023 night was hyper sensitive about our group hanging in the lobby. We weren't even being loud. No warning just went straight to threatening to call the cops. This is our second weekend in a row staying here. We travel to this area twice a month, but our 20 families ($3,000) will take our business elsewhere.
