The Liberty, MO Best Western Premier apparently does not read special requests for physically disabled customers or any special requests all. We requested extra blankets and pillows prior to arrival due to health reasons. It was a late check in and took the sole person time to find one blanket and two pillows. In the morning, we found we had no bathroom linens. I was told it may be because they were out of clean linens but she would try to find and bring us some. Front desk did bring us some. This is not the standard we expected for a “Premier Hotel.”
We were told breakfast was from 7am-10am. Half of our room went down for breakfast around 8am and all hot options were gone & not being replaced i.e eggs, sausage/bacon, biscuits/gravy. The other half of our room came down at 9am and the breakfast area was already locked and closed; so they didn't even have access to grab & go options. When booking a hotel, you are willing to pay a little more if it includes a hot breakfast ... so it saves you on having to go out and pay for breakfast elsewhere. Here, we paid more to stay at this hotel, mostly because of the breakfast ... and still ended up paying for breakfast elsewhere on top of hotel cost. When speaking with management, we were just told sorry, that they were short staffed. While I understand that, why close the breakfast area completely so that muffins, cereal, bagels or other items couldn't still be accessed? On the positive side, the room was very clean. Beds weren't the most comfortable, but I've experienced worse. The pool is small, but has a waterslide feature (our schedule didn't allow us to use the pool this trip). Overall the hotel has decent amenities, but the breakfast was the one we were basing our decision to stay there on ... and was the one that was unavailable.
The gentleman at the front desk was extremely helpful, and the hotel itself is well maintenanced. For a room with a jacuzzi it was honestly affordable, my fiance and I had a great time!
No toilet paper or towels when arriving in the room. Bartender was sent home for being to drunk to function. Housekeeping stole my watch and then I caught him wearing it on his wrist.
They are infested with bedbugs.. I will never come back they told me every hotel got bugs … they was so inconsiderate about my problem
Hotel was clean and well maintained. The pool and waterslide were a hit with the kids. Pool area was also clean and well maintained. Free breakfast was delicious and well stocked with many options. My only complaint is that our floor had a strong sewage smell and the water in our bathroom also smelled like sewage.
Near restaurants, grocery stores, shopping. There is lots of traffic noise at night Room was very clean no problems there. However, breakfast was awful. I suggest going out for coffee and pastries at local restaurants
The place was amazing. The General Manager and his staff are professional and friendly. The Breakfast is a full breakfast to include eggs, bacon, sausage, with a variety of cereals, fruits, and breakfast breads. Everything was cooked fresh and the drinks to include iced tea, lemon water and Coffee were available 24/7. The rooms are very well maintained; felt like my bedroom at home. I highly recommend this hotel for buiness and pleasure.
All staff was friendly and helpful. The price was excellent. Our room was clean. The breakfast was the correct temperature and plenty of choices. The parking was good. I have rented the meeting room a couple times for family get togethers and it is always an excellent experience.
The Best Western PREMIER in Liberty, MO is the worst hotel I've ever stayed at ever. From the moment I got my reservation over the phone, there was a problem. The lady on the phone didn't take my reservation immediately. She asked me if there was anything else that I wanted, and I said a reservation (twice now). When I got to the hotel, there was a man who was homeless, staring at me, sitting in the lobby. A disgruntled person was running around the hotel lobby, knocking things over off the counters, and then, running the front desk a attendant, asked me a redundant question that had no purpose. They didn't even have my keys ready. When I got there, I had to ask them to make them for me, and when I got to my room, a maintenance person was working in the bathroom. I stayed up the entire night because a banging noise and noises were coming from speakers inside the room; the noises they're so annoying that they made you want to block them out with headphones. I had to tell the front desk guy not to take my pizza when it got delivered there, and I was followed twice by backpacking people. As I was leaving at 6 AM, breakfast wasn't ready. I was confronted by a lady who I believe worked for the hotel, and she asked me why I was standing there in the lobby. The only positive thing I can say is that the customer service at headquarters told me to have a nice day after I told him I was checking out.
The only negative I had is room did not have a sunlight shade or solid curtain to block sunlight. Other than that everything else was great. Coffee was not available due to frozen pipes during a blizzard. Understandable.
This is a great hotel and a great value for sure. Clean, nice and modern amenities. Friendly staff. We were offered complimentary drinks upon check in because we are rewards members - a very nice touch.
The staff was remarkable. They were very helpful and kind. Rooms very clean and comfortable. Breakfast was very good. The pool was warm. We love the fresh and modern decor in the rooms, as well as in the restaurant and the entry.
Our vehicle broke down and we needed a pet friendly hotel. The staff here were very accommodating, the room was comfortable and clean, and there's a nice bar downstairs. They also offer a hydro massage that you can get a discount for two.
The room was very clean and the bed comfortable, but what prompted me to write was the excellent condition of the bathroom and breakfast area. Most lodges in this price range have little maintenance problems and clearly there was none of that. The lodge we stayed at the night before was the same price point but had a long list of maintenance issues.
I had a reservation at the Best Western Premier Liberty Inn & Suites for July 14. My drive should have been just over 2 h ours, but because of storms, it took over 4 hours and I arrived just after 4:00 pm. When I was at the desk, they informed me that the hotel was overbooked and my reservation would not be honored. The manager, Carolyn, was rude and wouldn't help me at all. There was a worker named Henry and a manager at another hotel, Michelle, who tried helping me get a room somewhere else, but Carolyn was just cruel, saying she didn't need to help me find somewhere else to stay. I'm disabled and she wouldn't even offer me a place to sit while we figured out my options. At one point, another room reservation came in, and Carolyn honored that reservation. Until Best Western in Liberty improves their customer service and their reservation policies, I would absolutely avoid it. I ended up staying in a different hotel, a disgusting hotel, where a cockroach was in the room. I never received an apology.
Great Stay, excellent staff, nice rooms and pool. Had a car accident and the hotel staff was very kind and allowed me to check in about 6 hours earlier then check in time. Everyone was very nice and helpful with all my questions. It was a really nice hotel, and I enjoyed my stay.
Front desk gave my room away to someone else, then gave me keys to that room. I go up there to find out someone is in the room already. Then I had go back down and get switched to different since they gave it away.
I probably won't be staying in a Best Western again for some time. Arrived 45 minutes before check-in and was told our room was still dirty. I would have waited but instead of asking they went to “check” the room to see if it had indeed been cleaned and just not marked. All of a sudden our room was clean. It was not. The toilet seat had some dirt on it and we had no bath towels. On the way to our room we saw a sign stating they were currently not cleaning your room except every four days unless you requested it. You have to see the front desk for towels, etc. Additionally we found quite a few things had been overlooked in our room… the safe was still locked from a previous guest, water has been left in the iron and the tv didn't work. The shower drain was not aligned with the shower but that was minor compared to the rest. Last but not least was the pool. We had booked this hotel to use the water slide but it was closed for construction and had been drained, probably due to a former review I saw of the water being blue. I would not recommend this hotel as there are two others within walking distance that probably can guarantee daily room cleaning and fresh towels at the least.
Daughter has a dance competition in Liberty so we booked this hotel as it looked nice and had a waterslide in the pool. Got there and the pool wasn't working they actually drained the pool. The room was ok once the air conditioner started working, the staff was ok but they refused to take out trash after being asked. The breakfast was normal as most hotels. The staff was drinking at the bar. Not the best experience in a hotel by far.
Absolutely Horrible stay!! Kids baseball teams were staying there. Parents gave them free reign over the motel. Slamming doors yelling and general mayhem. Repeated calls to the front desk were of no help at all. Kids playing with baseball bats and balls out front of our room until after midnight. Yelling back and forth and even playing a saxophone after midnight right in front of our room window. Calls to the front desk to complain and we were told there was nothing that they could do because they were paying customers. The hallways stank of garbage that was left out. Elevators would take you to the correct floor, but the doors would not open. Steer clear of this one.
I should have known when I checked in. First, my reservation was for 2 nights. They checked me in for 1 and had me sign a sheet with the rate. Then I realized the price was too low for 2 nights so I asked if that was for 2 nights. She said she only had me registered for one. When I got the 2nd night added, the price for that night was much higher! I have an email with a confirmation number for 2 nights! Their mistake and the manager didn't care at all! He was a jerk!!! They are understaffed and just let new employees hanging alone with little training. We witnessed this! Maybe the lack of staff is due to poor training!!! Employees were having a romantic argument in the parking late when we returned from our event which made us very uncomfortable. The manager was completely UNPROFESSIONAL! This place needs lots of improvements!!!!
while in my stay this weekend it wasn't a good experience at all .....the first room we got had pee all over the toilet no towels conditioner and hair in the shower the second room was just about the same no towels and just not up to par at all pink in the shower.....Very little hot water pool was gross the front desk lady said I don't know how to even check it. asked for towels to be sent to our room 4 times to not getting any. we stayed here last month and it was wonderful but not this time at all.
The hotel is very nice and new. The room was spacious and comfortable. The staff friendly and helpful. There is a wonderful hot breakfast with many good choices. This was my second stay and will definitely be back again!
We stayed here Dec 18th. The room and all of the hotel was very clean. Front desk staff was excellent and breakfast was fresh with a nice variety. The only down side was the hallway noise during the night and a dog in a nearby room barking.
We were in town for our daughter's wedding. We had a 50 room block plus the meeting room reserved. The staff was amazing! They went above and beyond to ensure our needs were met. The rooms were very clean as was the lobby. Our guest enjoyed the pool and the outdoor sitting area. We had several people check in a day early and were given the same rate as the block. Check in was quick and easy.
Newer hotel near the highway and restaurants. Very clean. The room was comfy as well as the beds. . Parking was great. Very nice lobby. Their breakfast left a little to be desired. The attendant seemed to be the only person there but she was working the best she could.
This hotel is not very old, but it is very dirty. Supposed to have a bar area which is open in the evening, it was closed the 3 days I was there, Fri to Mon. Office employee, said she could serve me a beer, but would get in trouble if she served any alcohol. Room was pretty filthy, I won't stay there again…
Fairly new hotel. It is clean, bright, quiet and roomy. Ample, lighted parking area. Average breakfast. Best in room lighting ever experienced for hotel lighting. Spacious lobby, breakfast area and bedroom.
Bed small; very uncomfortable; air kick on bkow good, cold and and then got hot before kicking on again. Aet at 70 could not get it to go lower, to keep it cool. Water very salty. Not good for coffee. Really a cheap room for 200.00 per room. Never go back .
No air conditioning during 110+ heat index and a huge lack of concern...I had to call MULTIPLE times AFTER my stay to even request an adjustment. No one called me back just sent an insult of a refund for the poor service I received.
This hotel is impressive from the moment you walk in. Staff is friendly, the lobby and hallways are gorgeous. The room is really nice, with excellent bath/shower combo. Lots of little extras you'd expect to see in a higher priced hotel. Extra pillows on both beds, which is really rare.
The pictures make the place look nice and the lobby area, breakfast area and workout area are good. Our room and accommodations were not. Our room was missing one of the TVs, the bathroom smelled like rotten eggs, there was a big yellow stain on the sofa bed, no sheets, pillows or blankets were in the room for the sofa bed, no comforters provided, the internet had one bar, the rooms were not cleaned during the day, there was not a hair dryer in the bathroom and staff didn't know where they were. If you needed anything that is usually provided in most hotels you had to ask for everything which got pretty annoying.
From the outside, this hotel was amazing! Very updated decor. Clean. But we had cleanliness issues in our room. Sheets had holes and a lipstick stain. Dust on the bathroom shelf. Rust stains in the bathtub. The staff gave us new sheets and we would stay here again, but we're disappointed initially.
The Best Western Premier is always my first choice when traveling to the area! The rooms are extremely clean and the hotel staff is friendly, yet efficient. Jen, the manager, is always willing to help accommodate any special requests. The breakfast area is clean with plentiful choices.
Nice enough hotel, but my room smelled of cigarettes, the trash hadn't been emptied and there was no shampoo in the bathroom. After a long day of driving, I was too exhausted to wait to see if I could move to a different room. Staff was friendly though!
This was an amazing place to stay! The staff was so friendly, the facility was extremely clean, and the breakfast was gold star! We really enjoyed the massage chairs, outdoor fireplace and the pool. If you are looking for a great place to stay - choose this one!
The Best Western Premier Liberty Inn & Suites is an unbelievably comfortable hotel. I traveled from Ireland and I had very little sleep on the 29 hour journey to the Kansas Area. On arrival I was shown to my room and the room was awesome. So comfortable. It had a beautiful bathroom and the room was appointed in a very clean and modern design with all the latest features and furnishings. I was well impressed with great air conditioning, quiet rooms (as I'm a light sleeper) and wonderful USB power sockets. Thankfully , after my journey, I slept very well. And the downstairs lobby in the hotel has free tea and coffee which was very welcome. All areas of the hotel are spotless and the foyer is cosy and very comfortable to enjoy your time at the hotel. There is even a little nook with Tv channels. Nice are to sit and relax. The bar is in the foyer also serving a selection of drinks and cocktails. Near the lobby there is the amazing HydroMassage which was amazing at solving my travel muscle ache. There is also a swimming pool, fitness centre and I did take a peek at the very modern looking boardrooms. I am wowed by this hotel. The staff are so friendly and very welcoming. Thanks to everyone for making my stay so enjoyable. They should change the name to The Best Best Western !
expensive for what you get, but does have shampoo, conditioner, makeup remover and shower caps. Breakfast was fair, but food ran out quickly and was not replenished. It was clean but the handle on the shower enclosure was broken.
The pool is freezing cold. If you're staying here for that, don't. I couldn't get in because it was so cold. The rooms were comfy and clean. The bed was great. The fridge was small. Overall good experience. I would stay here again, but please fix the pool.
The hotel staff was incredibly kind from the front desk staff to the cleaning staff. I wanted to shout out Jen (the assistant manager) who helped us have an early check in and was incredibly friendly and provided great conversation with us whenever we came across her. Kudos to you and your team as you are all kind and helpful. The hotel is very new almost a year old so it is very well kept and clean. The room was huge and the bed was very comfortable. Our flight ended up getting up getting cancelled so we had to stay an extra two nights. The prices were wonderful for the extra stay and the staff was so accommodating. The breakfast was delicious and it was hot which was nice to see again. We took advantage of their hydromassage chairs which were an extra $8.00 per person and so worth it. They also have an indoor pool! All in all, it was a lovely experience.
Hotel is nicely located near stores. (Grocery,Restaurant and shopping). Just off the interstate so very convenient. Rooms are spacious. Bed was very comfortable. My only thing that I was unhappy about was the fridge size if you stay for more then one night. The hotel was perfect other then that.
Stayed here on our way back from AZ. I believe this is the first time we have stayed at a Best Western Premier, that I remember. Love the modern decor. Beds were comfortable the customer service was great. Would stay there again the next time we pass thru Missouri.
We chose this hotel because of the pool with a slide, thinking it would be fun for our young kids who have been asking to go swimming. Unfortunately, the pool was way too cold for 2 toddlers to use which made for a disappointing stay. Other than that, the staff was good and it was a very clean and updated property.
This was great experience staying at this location. They treat their guests like royalty and great amenities. Quiet and clean. Spacious and comfortable bedding. Breakfast was fresh, plenty to choose from. Hot or cold. Healthy choices as well.
My husband and I did a quick getaway and stayed in the whirlpool suite. It was spacious, comfortable, and clean. During our stay we enjoyed the modern bathroom with a makeup mirror for me. My husband's favorite was the 3 different shower heads to use! Definitely will be returning!
This place has a washer and dryer for the customers to use. They have a great breakfast and the bar is open Tues- Saturday (Not on Sunday or Monday). Rilie will be your bartender and is so nice and friendly. The front staff will greet you (Katherine, Charleen, Eddie) and the managers (Tara & Jen) too! Everyone on staff helps out with every aspect of running this lovely hotel. I was very impressed with how everyone pitched in when a job needed to be done. Sometimes, you don't know if the person helping you is the manager, housekeeping, bartending or front desk because they do it all!! So proud of all of these people doing what they have to do in order to make the place run. Great job everyone!!1
Understaffed with two ladies having to run the whole show. The pool was not maintenance and freezing cold. The hydro massage was amazing. Traveling with pets was difficult with no main floor rooms and not a lot of grassy areas.
Stayed 8 nights through Christmas eve and new year for a wedding. King suit was great. The bed could have been more comfortable. Switched to a double queen when family members arrived. The room was smaller but the beds were great.
Everything's was new and beautiful and delightful. Our room was large and spacious. You can't go wrong staying here. Breakfast was of a large variety and the most unique item was individual corn dogs. Staff were efficient and pleasant. Beds comfortable.
This was our first stay here. Rooms were clean but extremely noisy. Don't stay in room 213 or 211. Complained to manager next morning and she shrugged her shoulders and agreed with me that the room we were in is known as a loud room. Why would you put people in that room if the hotel wasn't full? Also, the pool was freezing cold. There were several large clumps of hair floating in the pool.
This hotel and staff provided excellent accommodations for wedding party and staff was outstanding at taking care of all our needs. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The breakfast was hot and the bar was very attentive to our needs. Staff was able to assist with last minute needs and also able to refer us to local food places when needed. Thank you so much for the outstanding service!!
This was my first time staying at the brand new Best Western Premier hotel in Liberty, Missouri. It will no doubt be where I stay every time I visit Kansas City/Liberty in the future! The hotel was so clean and comfortable. What really makes this place so wonderful was the outstanding customer service from the front desk. When I first checked in, Charleen warmly greeted me and made me feel welcome. I have a bad back and she was able to accommodate me in a room adjacent to the elevator. She was friendly and prompt, as well as professional with a perfect attitude for the hospitality business! Charleen took me on a quick ground floor tour to show me some of the awesome amenities. There's a breakfast bar with a great selection of delicious food. They have a bar facing a large family-style room for get-togethers. Even Rileigh, the bartender, was extra nice ~ she was very friendly and a true asset to BWP! Between the two of them they told me where some of the best restaurants were in the area which was very helpful. Charleen also showed me the room with two Aqua-Therapy machines!! OMG!! That had to be one of the best massages I've ever had! It felt great and it's just one more reason I really like this place! I stayed for three nights and I'm already looking forward to future visits. If you're planning to be in the area you must try this place. The price is below what most charge yet they have more to offer. 5-stars!!
Hotel is brand new. The bed was comfortable, and the blackout blinds were amazing. The smoke alarms kept going off early in the morning. Hopefully, it's just a new build glitch. Other than that, my stay was very nice.
Our stay was exceptional! We will be coming back when visiting KC area again. The breakfast was very good and the hotel is kept clean. The hotel is near stores and restaurants and not too far from KC.
Non-smoking facility but individuals smoking in front of the hotel entrance upon arrival, was given dirty room so requested a different room which was so so, rarely was front desk staff at front desk.
New hotel. Short staffed,as many places are. Great location for food, shopping, etc. Has great potential but currently many kinks in housekeeping and amenities .Pillows were awful! Take your own ! Nice bar but no one manning it No food or snacks offered in the bar
Awesome new Hotel. Lovely lobby, halls are well lit with glass block windows and cool overhead lighting. Amazing walk in showers with triple shower heads(overhead rain shower, handheld and regular). My wife loved the backlit mirrors and lighted makeup mirror. I liked the led reading lights over the very comfortable bed. Jen is an excellent Manager. The only nicer hotel we've stayed at was the St Regis in Princeville Kauai.
