What do you say when almost everything was great? Great: Staff: friendly, welcoming, efficient Room: clean, comfortable, very well maintained Not Great: Decor: I've attached a picture of the art hung over the toilet. (Seriously. What the heck?)

The hotel is always in immaculate condition - the staff are ALL top of the mark and I love the consistency! Never a worry when staying here! I travel a lot for work - and with this hotel especially, the levels of quality are always the best!

"Shame on the Poor Customer Service and Reservation Error "

My husband made a reservation and received a confirmation via email. Then we drove from Cobourg to Hamilton to be told by an extremely rude service person (COURTNEY) that we had cancelled our reservation. Which we did not. As I tried to inquire as to who cancelled it I was told I only deal with Mr. Clark...who was standing right next to me. Not any empathy that clearly an error on the hotels end had occurred. No...no.. according to her she had no explanation and did not owe us one. Because the Male service person who has been employed from the beginning (like that should matter...what is she saying that only employees who are new make mistakes??) cancelled it because he received a call. Clearly we would not cancel a booking and then drive all the way to lie about it????what a ridiculous assumption. My guess is someone else called and cancelled their reservation and now they are not going to show up and yet this hotel will bill them. But that's ok we found a much nicer hotel. Now when my husband is in town monthly he will stay elsewhere.

We stayed last night while attending a wedding, and loved our stay! The hotel is beautiful, the staff are friendly & helpful! The food at the wedding was fantastic! I highly reccommend this hotel and will stay here again when I am in the area!

"Nice Hotel"

great room, great food, large bathroom although no tub,shower only, Enjoyed our stay and accommodations. Stayed for closeness to Jurvinski Hospital,(close by, easy to drive to and from hospital. Hotel had nice sitting area with benches and a fountain to relax beside.

Didn't stay long, only a quick visit but hotel is very clean and private. Would definitely stay there again. Very boutique and staff was excellent. The bed was comfortable and the room suited our needs perfectly.

We don't live too far from Hamilton, but my mom had an early morning appointment and wanted a chance to relax the night before and not be in a rush in the morning. So we chose this hotel based on our experience and knowledge of the very high quality "Carmen" brand, excellent TripAdvisor reviews and also because there was a highly rated restaurant on site. Well I must admit I was skeptical mostly due to the location, but it ended up being a great, comfortable stay! It was several weeks ago and I am still a bit shocked that it was such a high quality spot. The hotel is spotless from the lobby to the corridors to the rooms. I was almost desperately looking for some kind of flaw, but couldn't find anything wrong. Generally even the best hotels sometimes show some wear and tear on the walls, but here everything was almost pristine. The carpets, paint, wallpaper, pillows, sheets, towels, etc. were all in perfect condition. The room is equipped with everything you need for a short or even long-term stay. And even the Keurig coffee was way better than joe average Keurig usually is in my opinion. The room was very large with a nice small table and chairs, a couch, a desk, a mini kitchenette and a very comfortable bed. There are ample plugs and easy to find/access. I really liked the housekeeping cards to confirm that the room had been cleaned and then inspected a second time! Nice touch! Even though the "modern Italian" red and black decor is not my own personal taste - I was impressed with how well put together and well co-ordinated everything was throughout the entire hotel. The theme was very consistent and well thought out. I liked the individualism of each room having it's own musician with real records and all! How cute especially if you can't remember your room number! Although I didn't use the pool - I did take a peek and it also looked very clean and in excellent condition. And I really appreciated the fact that there was a wonderful on site restaurant, but I will write a separate review on that. I don't expect to have to sleep in a hotel on Hamilton mountain again, but would stay here again no question if the need arises. And I certainly would not hesitate to recommend it to anyone. Personally I think it's the best choice to anyone traveling through the area and obviously for anyone attending an event at Carmen's.

"Clean Spacious Rooms and Friendly Staff"

This hotel was fantastic! The rooms were very clean and large. Despite weddings on the weekend the room was very quiet at night. The Italian theme rooms are wonderful. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful, especially Anna who remembered me from our phone conversations related to the booking. The lobby was comfortable and offered fresh flavor infused water daily as well as apples and pastries. The business centre was clean and always functioning. I highly recommend this hotel and would not stay anywhere else if I was in Hamilton.

"Excellent, beautiful hotel"

Absolutely loved staying at this hotel. I had never stayed in a Best Western Premier hotel and was actually a bit put off when I saw that I had been booked at this hotel, however was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at the hotel. The front desk staff seemed very attentive, and had some complimentary light snacks to offer on arrival - something I am accustomed to at Hilton and Drury properties. The rooms are all themed after a different famous musician. My specific room was themed after Louis Prima, who I actually knew nothing about before my stay. All of the decor was themed in jazz/Southern/Louisiana-esque fashion, a very classy room in my opinion. My only complaint about this hotel is the lack of a shower door. It is a walk-in shower, and there is a half-partition of glass that does not move, leaving the other half completely open. I'm not sure how much sliding glass doors would have been in lieu of one floor-to-ceiling stationary piece of glass, however they would have been appreciated.

We had the two king suite. This room was massive and great. Carlos (the manager) was totally awesome from start to finish and made our stay an excellent one. This was our first stay at this hotel and was a total fluke that we even stayed here. We usually stay at a hotel further down the road but it was full. But most definitely we will stay here again

"Wedding reception "

This hotel is absolutely gorgeous. Each floor has its own theme and extremely modern. I was so surprised when i arrived. Something you would find un vegas. The staff go above and beyond to make everything smooth and all is satisfied. They even called us tell say our room is ready for early check in because of a wedding to attend. It is a definite must to come to this hotel.

The room service is friendly. Room really clean. Half carpet floor and half non carpet floor. Has a table to eat and kitchen. Comfortable bed and great jackusi/hot tub. My stay was great. Pool is big and not too much people. Great Hotel.

never written a poor review however after my experience with the C hotel this one is warranted. I had to stay at the C hotel in Hamilton as a result of a wedding I was participating in and coordinating. My interaction with the Maître D Conceita was amazing she was knowledgeable and organized and professional she was the reason for the 2 star. We attended a wedding and had booked quite a few rooms there were many smokers so we had to be traveling from our rooms downstairs and outside to smoke. Maybe 4 of us at a time the security guard was extremely rude to us he continually picked on the group yet the night before when I was up preparing for the wedding there was a number of residence going in and out of their rooms. We were using our inside voices however just 4 people walking or whispering to each other was still too noisy for this hotel. After charging me over $600 for 2 nights I was told by the old security man that I had to stay in my room for the remainder of the night. It got better in the morning I went to the front counter to address a 192.00 dollar charge that was on my credit card from the hotel. I saw this charge on my credit card a few hours after checking in. I knew I was to have been charged 150.00 for the holding fee and paid the actual bill using my debit card. I went to the front desk in the morning to discuss the 192.00 dollars and the woman working behind the counter was extremely rude to me I have witnesses. I asked about the charge and she kept rambling about being on camera and noise and would not allow me to speak. She says I was speaking down to her because I said that I worked in customer service and the way she is behaving is unaccepted she should not be allowed to speak to some one in such a manor and that I would like to speak to her manager at that point she says manager don't work on Mondays and continued to be rude to me. I kept trying to explain to her that I don't care about the 39.99 I did not know about 39.99 fee for noise I care about a 197 charge on my credit card. When the bride spoke to her and said “Miss your being rude” were is your manager she final said she was looking into charge and it was my fault for not allowing her to do her job. And even thought I was speaking quietly to her as I had not reason to yell she says I was speaking to get and audience. After she calmed down saw the 192.00 charge told me it was a glitch in the system and it would be returned. I she knew this all along why would this not have been the first charge she discussed not some 39.99 fee. The C hotel has a lot to work on people of color are people shocking as it may seem to them we should be allowed the same treatment as every one else. A wedding that ends at 1am with a huge bridal party and many people booking should have been told about the noise policy prior to taking their money people talking to them selves is not noise to me it the equivalent to sleeping beside someone who snores and even that was louder. I find it hard to believe that a hotel that is known for weddings have never had people walking from there rooms outside to smoke. I felt the color of my parties skin had a lot to do with how we were treated. The brides mother who is in her 60s was told to keep the noise down in her room for talking to her sister about the events of the wedding and laughing. My room got charged because he tried to treat me like at child and tell me i had to stay in my room and when I pointed out that im not an idiot and he thought charging me 39.99 would have been punishment. The customer service at C hotel for people of color is deplorable.

We booked our stay at the Best Western Premier C Hotel by Carmen's, as the property was adjoining the wedding venue. Very happy we were able to get in to the hotel as everything was booked nearby. Although we were unable to use many of the facilities, due to time restraints, we were very pleased with the service before arrival and during our stay. The room was lovely. Well appoimted and very clean. Should we ever require accommodations in Hamilton we would stay there again. Highly recommend.

Large comfortable room with whirlpool. Very good italian restaurant on site. Parking was very scarce even with the overflow lot across the street. Two weddings on the day. Staff were very friendly and efficient.

Beautiful hotel. Very spacious, clean, and comfortable room. We had the 2 King suite and it was huge. Very quiet. Staff was extremely helpful and friendly. They printed out maps and directions to the area waterfalls and other places of interest. Would stay here again if in the area.

"Almost perfect"

Very nice place. Spacious, clean, modern, and bright. Beds were comfy and hallways were quiet. This hotel is in a somewhat secluded area so probably not the best location for a bus tour. My only disappointment was when I asked for a later check out. They mention on their website that they try to accommodate later check outs where possible, so when I saw that the parking lot was mostly empty I was optimistic of being granted an extra hour in the room which suited my schedule better. I was surprised though when they said that it would cost an extra $20. Too bad.....

The nicest Best Western hotel I have ever stayed at. The hotel and rooms were very clean and nicely decorated, and the pool area was excellent. The staff were fantastic; extremely friendly and helpful. You can tell that the staff enjoy their jobs. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in Hamilton mountain area.

"Beautiful hotel and amazing staff and service! Should be 4-5 star hotel"

Hubby and I decided to stay at Hamilton for a change from our other visits due to this hotel and the reviews. We were very happy we made the decision. Hotel is very clean, smells good, staff and service are outstanding! Loved Angie at Baci restaurant every morning for breakfast. Caution: be very hungry because they serve huge portions and the food is amazing! Rye toast and blueberry pancakes are a must try and if you're lucky to have Angie you will have asuper experinece. Courtney at front desk has the most beautiful amazing smile. We drove 17 hours to get there and her smile and positive attitude made a huge differnce at check in. Justin was also amazing! He was able to get us out of a bind with the safe in the room, totally hubby's fault. I cant say enough about the service and staff and although i cant remember everyone's name they were all wonderful. The only downside is the shower. It needs more pressure and a full door. Other than that, you will not go wrong with this one and it should be at least a 4 star hotel!

"Quick trip to Hamilton"

I booked this hotel based on the pictures, I spent the weekend in Niagara Falls with friends and knew I'd want a nice and comfortable hotel before flying home. I booked a 2 bed queen room for me and my friend and we were incredibly happy with the room. Beds were clean and comfortable, bathroom was spacious with a rain fall shower head. I called ahead and was able to get an early check in and they held our luggage so we could walk around the day of checkout. The hotel is walking distance from restaurants and stores as well as only a $20 Uber to the Hamilton Airport. If you are staying in Hamilton I suggest staying at Best Western Premier C!

"Very noisy hotel"

This hotel is located in a very unattractive part of the city. It also hosts many wedding receptions so it tends to be very noisy late into the night. The quest room was clean and the restaurant was small but the food was very good.

"Amazing hotel with top notch staff"

My girlfriend and I stayed at this hotel on May 18, 2018. After a long 8 weeks apart because of me being on a training course for a new job we decided to have a nice night to ourselves before heading back home. On the recommendation of someone on my course I booked a room in this hotel. I also had my Dad and Step Mom stay the night before and they raved about how great the hotel was. Upon arrival I was greeted by Caroline. Caroline was pleasant and got me set up in a room very quickly. Upon arriving in our room we noticed that there was no jacuzzi as I had thought all the King Suites had. After changing we went and saw Caroline again. We asked if one with a jacuzzi was available to which we learned there was. I offered to pay the difference as I had misread the website but was told not to worry about it. A few strokes on the keyboard later and we were moved to the Da Vinci room, complete with fireplace and jacuzzi. We then left for a late lunch and to grab a bottle of wine to enjoy. Upon returning to the hotel we walked into the room to discover that I had left my cell phone charger in our original room and housekeeping had brought it to the front desk. Caroline went out of her way to bring it up to our room and leave it on the table were we would find it with a note. When dinner came around we went to the restaurant downstairs, Baci. We were seated promptly and served by a wonderful lady named Luana. Luana was attentive, polite and offered some great feedback on the dishes we were looking at. Luana really made our dining experience too notch. We can not say enough good things about this hotel. The bed was great, the jacuzzi very relaxing and the staff second to none. When I'm next in the Hamilton/Toronto area, this is where I will be staying.

Amazing hotel. The rooms here are amazing with fireplace jetted tub and kitchenette. Rooms are nicely decorated with a theme of a person. The hotel is quiet and very clean. Staff is very friendly and helpful. We really enjoyed our stay.

"Wedding event"

Wonderful experience, excellent hotel and a superb staff all round. We were at this hotel for a one night stay for a wedding which was also hosted right next door at the Carmen reception hall. The reception was one of the best experiences we have had, due to the host ( Darren ), the wait staffs wonderfully executed job and the food preparation and excellence coming out of the kitchen to the tables. The whole experience was above and beyond our expectations.

"Perfect location!"

This hotel location was ideal as our daughter got married at Carmens which was right next door. We had a one bedroom suite which was huge and met our needs perfectly! The hotel was great to deal with as I had to call a few times before with questions and they were always helpful and courteous. I would recommend this location if you have a function at Carmens! It is also super easy to access from the 403/Lincoln Memorial Parkway.

"No better hotel in Ontario "

My wife and I decided to go to Niagara Falls and Toronto and we wanted something in between both cities and we discovered this hotel. We felt like royalty from the moment we walked in to the moment we checked out. Our room was big and spacious and clean. The property was well kept and tidy. All of the staff members were excellent here. I'd like to say a special thanks to Sara. She was friendly and helpful and took care of everything we needed. She's definitely a good choice for a general manager. And the hotel is in close proximity to a lot of restaurants and stores for added convenience. A+ stay. I will definitely return to this hotel again and again

Attended a wedding at Carmen's next door, took the room for convenience. We were very pleased with the excellent service we received checking in and out. The room was exceptionally roomy and well appointed. We had no need to ask for additional service as all was as expected. The king bed was extremely comfortable. I would recommend this location anytime.

I have only been here for events such as a bridal shower two years and baptism recently. The dolce rooftop for brunch(bridal shower) and Castelli ballroom for dinner(baptism). Overall nice venues, food was also good.

room was too expensive, food from the in restaurant catering was good though. room layout for wedding wasn't well designed to be convenient to attendees as the only entrance opened was at the far end of the hallway.

I try to always stay in Hamilton at Best Western by Carmens when in the area. Service is fabulous. The restaurant is five star and very reasonably priced. Close to highways and attractions. Whether it is a short stay or long term always great. I have bookings into 2019 at the moment. Little jem.

My wife and I stayed at this hotel for two nights while visiting Hamilton. This hotel has a chic appearance in the lobby and corridors. Everything appeared clean and well kept. This hotel does not include breakfast, but I received a 20% breakfast discount coupon to use at the attached restaurant for each day of my stay. Free cookies appeared at the front desk each day. Front desk staff were courteous, pleasant and efficient. Our room with king bed was spacious with adequate modern looking furniture. Lots of sockets were available. The shower was different, but functional. The shower was in a stall the size of a bathtub. Glass covered half of the outer side and there was no door. The shower nozzle, however, was a rain shower type, so water did not splash out much. The main negative is trying to stay warm while showering. The bathroom had a single sink with a good amount of counter space. The bed was comfortable for us.

Attended a wedding for a family member but did not realize that there was a banquet room above my hotel suite....not impressed with the noise level and the after hours clean up noise. No sleep and exhausted the next day for travelling.

The service and quality was second to none. Staff were helpful and friendly. The room was clean and uupdated. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone. Being able to grab a coffee first thing in the morning was a bonus.

Best Western Premier C Hotel by Carmen's is by far the best hotel in the Hamilton area. I stay between 30 and 50 nights per year. Rooms are above standard, Baci restaurant is one of the best Italian restaurants in Ontario, and the staff at this hotel is second to none. Always friendly and ultra accommodating. I recommend this hotel to anyone staying in the Hamilton area. You will not be disappointed. Be sure to go to Baci.!!!

"A great stay"

We stayed 4 nights in total over two stays. Both times were well worth the effort. Clean rooms and well maintained. Nice bathroom. Fridge and microwave came in handy. Good wifi and TV channels. Staff were nice and very accommodating. Would definitely stay there again anytime.

"Above and Beyond"

I've stayed at many hotels and this was by far the most amazing experience. From check in to check out and everything in between, I was truly amazed. Anna at check in...you are a natural...you love what you do and it shows. The room took my breathe away...I knew I had booked the Platinum Suite but the pictures do not do this room justice. The size, the cleanliness and amenities make you forget that you are even in a hotel room. A huge shout out to the amazing housekeeping staff for taking pride in what they do...Cleanliness is the first thing I check( literally rip the bed apart and check the bathroom...ALWAYS) We decided to go out for dinner but did get to try Baci for breakfast...AMAZING....I wish I could remember the name of the lady that served us...Love her :) I will definitely be back!!

"Raises the Standard! Best stay I've had!"

So my girlfriend and I were looking to stay somewhere in town for the night to celebrate our one-year anniversary. We both have worked in the industry- so we're quite picky when it comes to hotels. From all the stays I've had this is one of my favourite hotels on the list. It brings to a level of genuine service you only expect at 5* with a well-valued price. One thing - since I read the "review" below- while laughing- a team staying in a hotel never equals quiet. So it's evident expectations were far-reaching and very unrealistic. But this hotel is very transparent, from their website, and company page it is evident this hotel strives in providing beautiful weddings on site. Also, from a quick call, they're very open with what events they're having. So if one does even the smallest amount of due diligence you'll know exactly what you're getting for the night. And - if I want quiet the last place I go to is a hotel - I'll find a nice little B&B or cottage in the north. So assuming you're going to the hotel with a realistic expectation - you'll be truly amazed. We stayed in the hotel's Platinum Suite - with a fireplace and bubble tub. This was the cleanest room I've ever stayed in! And the bed - talk about hospital corners you could bounce a quarter off it. Brava to the housekeeping team. The tub is one of the largest I've seen in a hotel room - fits two - it does take some time to fill up but is to be expected being that it is around 4x the size of your average home tub. But it was so relaxing to lay in there facing my gf and us both not be crammed. With each room individually themed you're having a one-of-a-kind stay every time! We were in the Gucci room - but I hear there's a room that Sylvester Stalone that everyone goes crazy for! What I can speak to for noise.. well .. there was none. We were there during a weekday - but being on the 3rd floor (so smack dab in the middle) I find it very unrealistic that I'd be hearing music as clearly as some might try to dramatize. So unless you're there for a wedding night - I cannot see noise being a problem. The staff was truly a shining feature of this hotel. You don't get that fake distant relationship other hotels often give you. Anna and Courtney checked us in with smiles, charm, and a genuine feeling of joy. You can tell they love working there- it made us more excited to spend time at this location. Steven and Tanya were fantastic at check out! The whole experience with the staff made me feel like they really wanted to leave a personalized memory. You won't get cookie cutter service here. I can say I will overwhelmingly be back and have made this location my exclusive spot for Hamilton/Burlington.

"Best Hotel Stay in Ages!"

Despite an issue with our booking, check in was quick and friendly. When the room we checked in to turned out to be the wrong one, the staff quickly corrected the issue and gave us a new room. We stayed in a 2 king bed suite (Ferrari; 1 separate bedroom and kitchenette). It was clean, fresh and beautifully decorated, which is hard to find these days. The kids had a blast in the large pool and we enjoyed a delicious breakfast with stellar service before check out in the morning. Looking forward to having a reason to stay here again!

"Party Hotel - Not a place to sleep!"

My daughter's team booked this hotel for 2 nights when we were in hamilton for a basketball tournament. We were looking for a cheap & cheerful AND QUIET place to stay the weekend. The woman who checked us in was fabulous. She asked us to sign their hotel NO NOISE AFTER 11pm policy, which we happily did. Little did we know that they put us on the 5th floor, right below their party room! At 10:55pm I called the front desk to ask them to ask the people above us to be quiet. They asked the DJ (yes, DJ!) to keep it down. I called the front desk again to ask them to be quiet and soon learned there was a 40+ person party going on above our heads. The next day when I asked to be moved to a quieter floor, the woman at the front desk said "we thought there might be a problem." (yes, they KNOW they cannot balance guests seeking sleep and guests seeking a party). The second night, there were parties on both the top floor and the main floor. My daughter and I were literally singing along with the songs we could hear through the walls. What else could we do? (My daughter did suggest checking out and going to a Holiday Inn!) Since then, I filed a formal complaint and requested a refund. So far all I have is an apology from the manager and a comment about it being difficult "to find a perfect balance to ensure that every guest in our facility is enjoying their time”. No kidding - when you stack party floors above sleeping floors...!

"Amazing one night stay"

I stayed at this property for one night as I was presenting in the conference center next door. The staff were kind and took care of several of our bags and saved us a trip upstairs. The Hot Chocolate and cookies in the office were fresh and tasty. Only regret is that I only stayed one night. Highly recommend staying here if you have the opportunity.

"Quiet, lovely staff but the shower was annoying"

On business so the quiet was great, during the week. The staff were pleasant and helpful. Restaurant on site was lovely. But the shower leaked so badly that it sprayed water into the ceiling of the bathroom. Just awful. They did substitute my coffee for tea which was great! And the gym was clean, quiet and the equipment was great.

We have come to visit our family with little children over Christmas and we wanted our own accommodation. It enabled us to have comfortable sleeps and it allowed us to give them space to maintain their daily routine. The facilities met all of our needs and we even had our Grandchildren come for a family swim in the pool. The restaurant serves good food for breakfast, lunch and dinner. Highly recommended.

we stayed at Best Western when we attended a company function at Carmen's { Christmas Dinner & Dance. We enjoyed the evening then returned to the hotel and enjoyed a movie on the large flat screen TV. The bed was King and so comfortable the amenities were excellent. We had a coffee maker with a great selection of coffee's, the room was clean and well prepared, the staff was welcoming and cheerful. we enjoyed our stay greatly, thanks to everyone!!!

This is a great property with caring staff. We stayed in a Platinum suite with amenities like a kitchenette, whirlpool tub and gas fireplace making us feel at home. The bed was comfortable and everything was spotless.The walk in shower had a Rain Shower Head. The shower had no shelf to hold shampoo, soap etc.Everything that we utilized in the room worked. I did not see any USB outlets in the room for charging. Breakfast is not included but there is a restaurant on sight for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

My partner and I went here to be closer to the Ancaster Mill, where we were going to be going for dinner. Basically, we had gift cards and our anniversary was around the corner - and so we ended up here. No complaints. hotel was nice and clean, staff was helpful, bed was comfortable. Booked a room online, then recieved an email saying my room i chose was unavailable. That was extremely dissapointing. If i was able to cancel i would have right then and there. The room they gave me was still nice, but i chose the other room specifically because i wanted a jacuzzi tub. The restaurant was amazing, and the ladies that took my order for both dinner and breakfast were a pleasure to speak with, and the food was amazing. I had the stromboli for dinner, and almost everything on the breakfast menu lol. The oatmeal was my favourite!

My stay was excellent. Hotel was clean and the staff was very professional. They explained everything that needed to know. However, on that Saturday night during my stay. there were so many events around the hotel that we were unable to find a parking spot. They should control that if they want to make customers very happy. Moreover, around midnight, the music was too loud around the hotel.

The hotel was chosen as being convenient to the wedding venue, next door. It was comfortable and the dining room was open for breakfast until 12:00 on the Saturday which was nice. The cost was okay for the breakfast. Not extensive, but good enough. There was a , safe, microwave and coffeemaker in the room. The hotel was quiet. The staff were helpful. So all and all, it was pleasant. It was in an industrial area, so without a car, you were not able to walk to shopping or other points of interest easily.

...because that is exactly the type of heavenly treatment you'll get from the staff, amenities, wine, and experience at the C Hotel by Carmen's. From the moment I waltzed through the front door I felt like Warren Beatty returning to the Beverly Hills Hotel. The staff? Fantastic. Room? Made me feel like Julius Caesar conquering the Gauls. Restaurant? The gnocchi may have literally melted in my mouth. The wine? As alcoholic as advertised. Whether it's a weekend away from your kids, a business function, or a trip of divine pleasure experiencing all Hamilton has to offer I seriously doubt you'll find a hotel stay even 23.879% as awesome as this one. Run, do not walk, to C Hotel.

"Fine hotel slightly out of the way in upper Hamilton"

Followed Tripadvisor ratings we reserved here despite its being a bit out of the way for us. It was worth our getting lost once or twice trying to get to upper Hamilton amid all the one-way streets (but that was due to our poor knowledge of Hamilton). Adjacent to Carmen's banquet hall it is located just off a main drag. Everything was as expected: nice welcome by desk staff, smooth handling of checkin. The room was quite large with a gigantic walk-in shower. Everything was available (including a sofa to sit on as an alternative to the bed) and all was clean. There is breakfast available (and room service) at its restaurant, Proof, but we didn't try it. The only negative (and its a tiny one) is that the TV remote was difficult for these old fingers and the listing of stations supplied was entirely inaccurate. We'd return, even if we have to get lost again.

The hotel was very clean and well designed. I stay in a lot of hotels and by far this was one of the more luxurious places I've stayed. The modern flare was just not my style. Staff was reallly helpful and courteous.

Awesome hotel. Went in with family and booked 2 room suite with full kitchen and the kids loved it very comfortable. Room was spacious and had multiple tv's (3) so we could all watch what we wanted. Staff were helpful. The pool area had few people in it and was very well situated as we could watch the tv from inside the pool and kids watched a movie.

I stayed here for the first time for a business trip. Wonderful hotel. Clean, bright, quiet. I had a large room with plenty of space at a great price. The bed was comfortable. Great shower. Restaurant looked great but I didn't have time to try it. Staff were attentive, warm and friendly. When I come back to this area of Hamilton I'm staying here.

This was a last minute decision/trip to Hamilton to take in a Ticats game. Not only are the hotel and rooms clean and well decorated, the staff are genuinely interested in making your stay enjoyable. They seem to really like their work and are proud of their hotel. It shows. That, money can't buy.

Hotel is small enough to feel comfortable. Easy elevator access. Close to the highway. Shopping and restaurants nearby. Staff was helpful and very friendly. Would definitely recommend this site to friends

Loved this hotel! Was a pleasant surprise at the end of our vacation! Our restaurant server was super friendly and helpful even though it was the end of the night. The decor was beautiful and the meal fabulous. Rooms are beautiful, very clean and fresh. Comfy beds.

Great place to stay if you have an early morning flight! Clean quiet rooms near John C Munro - Hamilton Airport at a reasonable price. Front desk personnel were very friendly and provided very explicit directions needed for my early morning departure. I did not use any of the amenities but I did look around the premises- very nice. I wish I had more time to enjoy the pool. I would definitely recommend staying here if you are staying in the Hamilton area!

Hotel was beautiful, staff was friendly, room was clean and perfect for what we needed (two separate rooms within one suite). The only minor complaints I have would be the sheets were a little rough, and the bathroom door didn't lock. Overall an amazing hotel and would recommend if staying in Hamilton.

My boyfriend and I decided to have a staycation at a local hotel for 3 nights. I was told that I should book it at best western as they have excellent rooms, and I'm glad I did. The rooms were excellently decorated, and could definitely tell they were renovated recently. The room my boyfriend and I got was huge and very spacious. As per recommendation, we went to the baci restaurant downstairs one night for dinner. The cheesecake was so good and the hazelnut mousse was amazing; both were so good and my boyfriend and I couldn't tell which one was better. Surprisingly the pool was not being used (went down on a Thursday at 8pm), but I still went down. The water temperature was perfect and it was saltwater! I would like to thank Anna for making our stay very comfortable and always asking if there was anything else my boyfriend and I needed. She wanted to make sure we had the best stay possible. Will definitely return!

"Amazing staff"

Very clean, well decorated rooms and quick elevators but what really stood out was the staff! I stayed for 2 nights and was helped by both Chris and Amber from Baci for room service. They were so incredibly friendly and professional. I also had the pleasure of meeting Anna at the front desk and she was absolutely lovely. The staff's positivity and helpfulness was infectious and I would 100% recommend staying here!

The hotel is primarily for the event venue next door. While the rooms are nice, expect drunken neighbours coming back to their room & roaming the hallways yelling for their friends (or to be let into their room) throughout the entire night. When we were checking out the people behind us said the same happened on their floor as well.

Mostly excellent place to stay. Book the king bed jacuzzi room suite -- corner room, tons of space. Ask for dishes and silverware at the restaurant. Restaurant service and prices very good. No TV movies: bring your own. Lighting is pretty poor, tho much the same as in other hotels. Seniors should be careful of tile floors and dim lighting. Lighting inadequate for extended business work.

We had a booking nightmare. Two night stay in 2 different rooms. Staff at the front desk assured us that they would do everything in their power to keep us in the same room for the two night. They kept their word and we didn't have to change rooms.

Very comfortable rooms, very clean. The staff were completely professional at all times. Food at the restaurant was delicious and I was VERY happy as a Celiac that they had so many gluten free options. No compromise on taste for gluten free meals. I'd stay there again.

I don't know about the other floors but on our floor each room was named after an Italian musician. i.e. Perry Como, Mario Lanza, Madonna, etc. Our room was the Lanza room and just in case you weren't familiar with his music, there was a cd of his to listen to. Very unique idea.

Everything was excellent! The staff the rooms the beds the kitchen the coffee in the hallways and the room were very quiet witch was good because we had several rooms in the hotel but our noise didn't seem to leave the room! Only suggestion would be better venting in the bathrooms as they stayed very steaming for a long time after showers.

Had the king suite which was awesome and reasonably priced, but sucked to find out the hot tub wasn't in working order and the pool was cooler and pretty basic. Me and the kids were looking so forward to a swim and hot tub prior to bed time, but we didn't stay long...they enjoyed the room more. Then also sucked to have no guide in the tv, couldn't rent movies and the internet you couldn't even stream Netflix on a tablet. You'd think those are givens is a nicer hotel like that. Would've lived got try he restaurant (looked cute and got milk from it), but didn't have enough time. Also woken up around 3am from beeping garbage trucks emptying out dumpsters!?

WOW, this was one beautiful place to relax and lay my head. There were 2 weddings during our stay but other than a little extra people lingering around, it was more than I expected. From wonderful service to an outstanding king bed, nothing but praise for this place. Didn't try the restaurant on site, so no comment there. Had to drive a little ways for a place to eat. I will be coming back for sure.

Hotel is incredibly clean. The staff is friendly and helpful. The rooms are quite nice. Room service meal from the restaurant and breakfast as well were overpriced for the quality of food. Pool was nice. Location is good. Overall the staff attitudes and room sizes make this place worth the trip.

Clean, well-appointed, very helpful staff, restaurant was used for breakfast with excellent selection, flavour and more reasonably priced than expected. If on top floor and there is an event on roof-top, may need to expect some noise from above but front desk ensured that things settle down by 11-midnight so hopefully not too late for you.

"Amazing hotel for a wedding venue"

I was so impressed by how helpful the staff were during our stay for my friend's wedding. The fact that they were so understanding and helpful with the groom's sister's children and offered to send her food and wine up to her room with her while she dealt with the toddlers because they were misbehaving. Also the people who came to clean our rooms the morning of the wedding were so helpful and understanding. I left my room a mess while I was getting ready for the wedding as a bridesmaid and forgot to put my sign on the door. The cleaner came in and tidied my room around the mess that I left and I felt terrible for leaving it in such disarray. Also the wedding organizer/server for the head table was so friendly and helpful. Whenever we needed anything, she got it for us and really helped to keep the wedding on schedule. Overall an amazing experience. My only issue as a guest was the lack of parking because of how busy the venue was but it was easy to move my car when the weddings had cleared out.

"A really good experience!"

This Best Western is a perfect example of an affordable luxury hotel. It has a wonderful Italian restaurant on the main floor, an exercise room and pool, and really nice rooms. We stayed for a week in the Pavarotti suite. It had a kitchenette, a king sized bed, a whirlpool tub or two, a big tv and a fireplace. The staff were so friendly and efficient and the housekeeping was perfect. The only small detail (an irritation, really...no, really) was the very poor quality toilet paper they provided. We went out and bought some softer stuff ourselves. All in all, I totally recommend this great hotel.

"Well kept Classy Hotel"

This hotel is a top notch bargain for the quality it delivers. I am already planning my excuses to have to go back. This was my laid back hub while my partner visited Toronto and it sits in a developing area while the Red Hill Valley offers beautiful trails and networks to the Bruce Trail for cyclers and walkers alike. The hotel itself is like new and the rooms are Italian themed and beautifully appointed. Absolutely loved it!

This is a very lovely, clean well maintained hotel. The rooms are large and beds are very comfy. All the rooms are themed with different performers, which is interesting. Staff were excellent. Would highly recommend. I also felt that the price was very reasonable for the area. Despite many weddings in the hotel at the time we were there, it was very quiet.

"Amazing property"

This property goes above and beyond with their customer service. All of the staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. The room we had was nothing short of beautiful. Meticulously clean and comfortable. We were there for two nights and used it as a base for a day trip to Niagra falls, and was a great place to come back to after a long day. The only minor complaint I would have is the shower head, its the rainfall type, with very little pressure. Not my personal preference, as I like good shower pressure. You know if thats the one complaint I could find that its an amazing property!

Lovely hotel! We used this hotel to get ready for the wedding and for our wedding night accommodation. Their service was efficient and friendly. The location was perfect, very easy to get to our wedding destination. The room was spotless and full of amenities. We stayed at this hotel because of a relatives' wedding. The check in went smoothly - our room was very nice - the only thing that I found a little lacking was the lighting. While I was putting on my makeup, in the bathroom, it was not very bright. The lights in the room were also not very bright. Other than that, we had a great stay with great service.

The Wedding Ceremony was excellent, the Hotel Staff were very professional and set up the rooftop area very nicely. The dinner was very appetizing and enjoyable. We had a great day and evening and our Room was very well decorated and appeasing. We slept very well!

This is a wonderful hotel. The staff are professional and courteous. Baci restaurant serves fabulous food and the service is always fantastic. I stayed at this hotel for business reasons but would stay for leisure as well.

Stayed for 5 nights- it was a great stay! Very friendly staff in all departments, great location and hotel is very clean and restaurant is very good also. Price is very reasonable and I would definitely stay here again and would tell others about this place too.

Exellent all around conditions and service. We wish it was located in a more tourist attraction area,such as Niagara on the Lake or N Falls-Huntsville or Kingston area. Not to much sightseeing to do in your area. We did visit the RBG. We think that the entrance to your main lobby was not too vi-sable as you drive in from the main Rd. It should be better signed at the front to go to the back for" HOTEL" entry.

Needed to spend a night prior to a flight the next day. This provided Hotel had the ideal suite with two bedrooms for our family. Room rate was reasonable. The restaurant was well priced for lunch. Free self laundry facilities a bonus after travel for a week. Good cookies at reception and plenty of coffee in room and on floor

Staff allowed us to check in 2 hours early so we could freshen up before going to the wedding we were in town for. Rooms clean modern and comfortable. The wedding reception took place at the hotel and it was intimate with good food friendly staff and a well stocked bar. We also had access to rooftop patio with great views of city and lake Ontario. Patio had outdoor furniture that you could relax in which made the wedding that much nicer. Had breakfast in restaurant downstairs and had probably the best home fries I've ever tasted. Love this hotel would go back in a heartbeat!

Beautiful, clean, and spacious guest room. The Jacuzzi is huge and the staff is friendly and helpful. We had a wonderful anniversary trip! We couldn't hear any other guests in the hotel and had a very good night sleep.

Stayed here over night after a wedding at Carmen's. The room wasn't and relatively new furnishings. The kids enjoyed the pool area. The only downside I saw was the bathrooms. The shower design was not good. The shower head doesn't project far which you need to basically stand very close to the wall to use it properly but the toe tester is in the way. Very inconvenient when you need to shower young kids.

I booked here for one night while returning from a one week road trip to the east coast with my kids, ages 5 and 12. After a week of staying in over-priced, under comforted, family oriented beach side rentals with my kids, I was looking forward to this stay and a quiet, comfy, good nights sleep! We were in the Machiavelli Suite, which was really lovely. Extremely clean and large, tastefully decorated and a heavenly, comfy, king-size bed! (Plus a pull out sofa for my youngest). There was also a fridge, microwave, wet bar and dining table. Sadly, other than glasses, there were no dishes or cutlery though, which would be a great addition. There was also a high end Keurig machine with a good choice of teas/coffees. I was loving our stay until about 4 a.m. when this strange noise that I can only relate to a dying engine of some sort began to occur intermittently. It was literally vibrating the wall where our headboard was. At first I thought it was the air conditioning unit in the room, but after fiddling around with it a few times and eventually turning it right off, I realized that it was not the source of the problem. After two hours of intermittent sleep, as the noise and vibrations were coming and going every few minutes, I finally called down to the front desk and was informed that a problematic air conditioning unit on one of the upper floors had already been turned off and that maintenance was on their way in. I was offered ear plugs, which I declined seeing as it would not stop the vibration in the wall and headboard. The noise finally stopped at 8 a.m. Upon checking out, I was told that it had indeed been coming from the electrical room right next to our room, and thanked for notifying them of the problem so that they could pinpoint the mechanical issue with the air conditioning. I was extremely disappointed by the lack of concession or compensation offered by the hotel for what was, in my opinion, a rather sizeable issue. For this reason, I would consider booking elsewhere next time.

This place is awesome! Loved the décor and hotel theme. We have never stayed at Best Western before but will from now on. The pool wasn't huge but it was warm and was a saltwater pool - very clean! We didn't have time to try Baci restaurant but it looked awesome. Have been to Carmen's Wedding Banquet center before and food was awesome - I'm assuming Baci would be just as good. This will be our go to hotel when we travel to the area next time! Close to Link and Red Hill Express Way and QEW. Short drive to the falls.

My best friend had a wedding reception here on the 11th and it was seriously perfect! Everyone was so accommodating! Carlos and the older gentleman from front desk were great and Jennifer in the function room was super great and so professional! The MC they provided was great and the food was amazing! The lady who served our drinks all night was super upbeat and friendly! Thank you for making her day so special!

Best Western Premier C was wonderful to stay at. We stayed in room 612 (De Niro). When we walked in right away my co-worker and I said "oops they made a mistake. There's only one king bed not two" as we turned around I looked over and saw the other room. Silly us! 2 king beds in separate rooms. I really appreciated having all the amenities, such as fridge, microwave and kitchen sink. I really liked the shower, I find that separate showers tend to feel cleaner than the tubes, so I appreciated that and also that the toilet and shower were in a separate room from the bathroom sink. So as one of us was in the shower the other was able to do hair and makeup. How awesome! I went for a walk around the hotel, looking at the names of each room. It was so fun!! What a creative thing to do. I love the theme! I also snuck in and looked at the pool. It was lovely, but as I didn't have swimwear I didn't have a chance to try it out. All the guests seemed happy. Literally had a few chatting with us. And the staff were super friendly. It was nice to just have conversations and get to know the area a little better. Lastly there were computers and even a printer on the second floor where I was able to print off our boarding passes. That was super helpful to us! My only suggestion for improvement is that we drove right past it at first. It seems a wee bit hidden away. If there was a sign perhaps pointing to it or in front of it I think that would be helpful. But perhaps there is and we just missed it. My only other suggestion is for them to replicate the hotel exactly and place it in Winnipeg so we have the perfect hotel for "staycations"!

The rooms was perfectly clean. Lots of room. Great water pressure. Able to control own air conditioning in room. Resturant Bali was amazing also... Best hotel in a very long time. I love the BWP C Hotel by Carmens. That it is classified as a three star hotel does not begin to describe the experience from the moment you arrive. I first stayed here in August 2015 because Hamilton is located between Waterloo, where I had business meetings, and St. Catharines, where the Royal Canadian Henley Regatta I was attending, is hosted. I was very impressed by the spotlessly clean facilities, great, spacious rooms and loads of amenities. But it is the quality of service that sets the place apart. Every person on staff seems to be genuinely friendly, professional and knowledgeable. The level of service compares favorably to many four and five star hotels in North America and Europe. The hotel restaurant, Baci, is excellent. Last August, I couldn't get a room at the C Hotel and was really disappointed. This summer, even though I am not going to Waterloo, I still chose to stay at the C Hotel, although it is about 35 miles/60 Kms from St. Catharines. I'm lucky I did. They did not have a regular room available, so they put me up in the Platinum (Lombardi) Suite. Great king bed, two person jacuzzi, gas burning fireplace and a very spacious, well appointed room. I certainly hope I get to return.

Everything about this hotel is superb -- from the moment we entered the sparkling fresh lobby, to the time we were greeted by very pleasant and helpful staff, ... to the time we entered one of their beautifully appointed music-themed rooms, we were in for a delightful and "fresh" experience. I stress the word "fresh" as this is one hotel that doesn't bear the signature "hotel smell" of disinfectants and cleaning products, and stale air. Just lovely, from the moment you step in through those glass doors. The rooms were clean beyond all expectation. I defy anyone to find a fingerprint or a speck of dust on any surface. I really appreciated all the personal touches added to the hotel rooms -- down to the fact that even coffee pods and supplies are replaced promptly. I notice all the little things, and it left an impression. We were in town to attend with a family member who was undergoing medical testing ... and although the staff didn't know this ... we were treated with such exemplary kindness that it really made a difference in how the entire experience unfolded. A minor "blip" (no pun intended) is that the wi-fi was more of a hit-or-miss experience, sometimes working really well, sometimes with no service. This, to me, is a very minor item, since, wherever I travel, I expect to rely on my own data provider, and not piggy-back on what may be offered gratis, on-site. For one thing, I appreciate the added secured that my own provider gives; for another, free wi-fi to me is not a deal-breaker, on any level. (For those who rely absolutely on having free wi-fi, this may end up being an issue with you at this hotel, whether you have Apple products or Microsoft. This seemed to be an issue with a number of guests with whom we chatted, informally.) For me, it's a complete non-issue. We will definitely return to this hotel whenever we are in the Hamilton area again -- and definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a superlative hotel experience. As you will note from my other reviews, I'm not one to over-rate a place: I'm definitely a hard marker!

I stayed for one night at the Best Western C when I flew from BC to Ontario to pick up my new puppy. I got in very late at night and was so very pleased to find a clean room with an amazing bed and pillows. One of the cosiest beds I've slept in at a hotel. Everything is modern and clean with nice decor. I'd definitely stay here again

"Every Room Named Separately After a Prominent Italien !"

Very clean newer hotel with very comfortable rooms in a quiet area of the city on the East Mountain. Lovely little restaurant in foyer with generous portions. Close to highway. Very helpful, friendly front desk staff. They have a pool but it was out of order when we were there. The chlorine smell was too high. I do not trust hotel pools any longer! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

"Nice hotel"

Was staying here for a business event. The room was roomy, clean and well maintained. The location was okay and close to major roads. While service was good I was surprised when I asked for a later checkout. This seemed to be a big request and the desk clerk couldn't authorize it. In all my years I had never experienced this and was disappointed.

Had to wait for the room and the business center was very noisy as it is open to the lobby. The friendly helpful staff upgraded us to a suite due the delay and the noise. One major problem with this otherwise pleasant hotel was the lack of parking. The hotel shares the parking lot with the banquet center and due to its business park location there are no real close alternate locations to park since all the lots are private property.

Absolutely amazing little gem! I called out of the blue while on the road just touring with my husband for the day. Anna at the front desk asked if it was a special occasion - it was our 1st anniversary! She gave us the last room available - the Bridal Suite! Absolutely gorgeous - truly, truly an amazing room - amazing restaurant - and absolutely amazing and lovely staff! We most definitely will be back!

We were just at this hotel for a wedding, we went for a King suite with jacuzzi. This was a very large room with a nice large jacuzzi tub, nice high seat table with 4-chairs, large sofa and coffee table, large king bed, very nice and elegant kitchenette, Keurig coffee maker with a good selection of drinks, mini fridge, microwave, sink and pull out faucet, two sinks for bathroom, one in and one out as well as a large rainfall shower. The entire room "Tony Bennett" suite as it was called was absolutely beautiful and one we will for SURE book again even though we are only an hour away. Our stay was perfect from the hotel reception, to the room, to the entire staff, to the hotel and most importantly the room. Perfectly clean and elegant in all aspects, truly a great hotel and very good price for it. There was also a fireplace in the room, not that we could use it as it was a warm weekend but for the wintertime this would finish the perfect setting. PS, there is a lot of room in this suite, we had family coming for the wedding that visited with us for a few hours and there was more then enough room for all while we talked.

We happened to be on the 2nd floor by the lobby so there was a bit of noise that carried from the lobby. Not an issue for us but you might want to ask for a different floor if that sort of thing is a concern.

Everything about this hotel is A-1 except the location. It is in an industrial park area and if after driving a long distance a person is looking for things to do without driving this is not the best. That aside the hotel is well kept, nice and clean, the room was spacious, the bed was comfortable and the staff very friendly. The pool area looked good but I did not use it. I did notice the hot tub was out of order. The restaurant on premises is a nice touch and the food was good. Typical Italian restaurant. Try to book a room away from the elevator as it made noises during the night when it was in use. I would stay here again as the plus features of the hotel outshine the location. One thing it could use is offering a free breakfast as so many hotels do today.

Very satisfied with my last stay at this hotel for 5 nights. Great desk staff. Clean room overall. Only regret: kitchenette come with only 2 sets of glasses, so even if you have a fridge and microwave in the room, you still need some basics to eat that are not provided. Luckily they have a restaurant downstairs where you have to go to get plate and cutlery.

Great rooms with cool decor. The check in was quick and efficient. The gym is reasonably equipped with some machines, cardio, and dumbbells. The restaurant called "Baci" has wood fired pizza, lots of pasta/salad selections and the food is excellent. There is a nice pool with a hot tub to boot. Internet is ok, can be a bit slow sometimes.

We would most certainly recommend this hotel to others. It is easily accessed from the Hamilton airport and then to various sites within Hamilton. The additional feature of having a top notch restaurant on site is a most welcome feature. The service in both establishments rank in the higher end scale.

This hotel is beautiful! The rooms are clean, organized, there are plenty of additions you won't see elsewhere. That being said it was an awful experience. We arrived with our luggage and were forced to carry it up and down the elevator 3 times because the key card wasn't working and the front desk person didn't know why. We went back up and frightened a woman who thought we were trying to break into her room. We showed one another our cards and it was the same. They double booked our room. There was a party going on next door and the clerk told us that it was fine because they were celebrating a pending wedding the next day. She wasn't willing to do anything until at least 11pm. Next we were moved down to the second floor (rather then the top floor we booked) and were placed beside the electrical room and elevator. Every time that someone came onto the floor the elevator made a terrible noise in our room and woke us up. We got very little sleep and were very dissatisfied. They gave us 10% off our bill which was no consolation for having to go to an important meeting with no sleep the night prior. We wanted to love this hotel and it had potential but it fell flat. I wanted to make this our go-to spot when travelling but now i'll have to keep looking.

Excellent hotel. Feather pillows seem to be the standard but were changed on request. And some gluten free bread products esp for breakfast would have made my stay perfect. The pool is nice but the hot tub was under repair during my stay.

My husband and I stayed here mainly because of it's location to Carmen's hall. We were very pleased and found it to be an excellent choice. The front desk staff were polite, professional, friendly, and very helpful. The rooms were very clean, equipped, and welcoming. The only negative is that it is a little difficult to find.

Exceptional service from every employee I was met with from front desk, to cleaning staff to restaurant to room service. Rooms are large, comfortable, exceptionally clean and very comfortable. We stayed at this location for one night following our son's wedding reception at Carmen's. The fact that this hotel is conveniently located next to Carmen's is brilliant. At the end of an extremely long day, it was very nice to simply walk next door to a hotel. No driving/taxi required. Our guests that stayed over appreciated this feature as well. The room was very clean and nicely appointed. The staff at the front desk was very pleasant. I would recommend using this location - especially when booking the venue next door.

Stayed here after a wedding at Carmens. Perfect distance as it was only a 2 minute walk from the reception. Entire building was immaculate. And the rooms did not disappoint. Very clean and comfortable. Modern style. Would highly recommend.

I'm glad I did a little research and chose this hotel instead of the options suggested by my training course. Very easily accessible and near a developing business center area with lots of amenities. The staff are incredible - very friendly and accommodating. And the decor feels more like a boutique than a major chain hotel. Clean bright room. My only disappointment was the hot tub not working. But that was fairly trivial. The restaurant Baci is a great addition and does excellent room service.

We stayed this past weekend at the Best Western Premier C - 3rd hotel in 5 days! Our first room was very clean and comfortable and we were extremely impressed for the price. This hotel caters many weddings and so you should know, that it's a busy hotel on weekends and there are a lot of celebrations going on (parking can be limited). None of these are huge concerns for me when staying at a hotel. During the night we heard odd noises coming from what we thought was the heating/ac unit. We asked to be moved. They said they would be happy to take care of us - and they did!!! They took care of moving our luggage! They moved us to a 2 room suite! While that was unnecessary (we would have been happy in another comparable room and I would have given a great review), it was a total surprise when we opened the door to the suite! It was a beautiful treat! I would have recommended staying here anyway because of the cleanliness and general appearance of the hotel, however, it isn't often you run across people who are genuinely willing to be "of service"! Thank you to all!!!

We had rented a 2 bedroom suite, and overall our family was very impressed. 2 gorgeous bedrooms, plus a pull out sofa. Fully functioning kitchen with everything you'd need. The bathroom was stunning, walk-in shower... everything was beautiful. We thought we didn't have enough towels (we didn't look hard enough!), reception was very nice and he promptly brought up more for us. Very kind reception. Didn't have a chance to explore the rest of the hotel as we were only there for the night but it was a very enjoyable stay.

"Bad service"

Terrible service! Wifi wasn't working!! Not fixed by time I left! They want to charge extra for 1 hour late check out when I checked in at 11pm. The staff didn't help with anything. I wouldn't go back to this hotel again.

Overnight stay before heading to the airport. Clean, modern hotel, nicely decorated. Rooms were clean and bed was comfortable. Our room had a minibar area with a small countertop, sink, microwave and refrigerator. Front desk staff were exceptionally pleasant. This hotel is about 15 minutes from the airport. Free onsite parking.

There was a function 2 floors up from us. We could hear the loud music and lyrics so clearly and heels on the dance floor. They even started marching at midnight. The front desk asked them to quiet it down but they were booked till 1am. My children and I couldn't sleep and we had to catch a flight at 5am. I wrote a complaint by email and all they said was sorry, hope you stay with us again. I'll never stay at a Best Western again. I would have rated them a zero but this site wouldn't let me continue unless a minimum of one star.

There is a restaurant on site as well as several restaurants, shopping and movie theatres nearby. We love that each room has a theme of a performer and there usually a DVD or related information for that person.

This was our 2nd time staying at this hotel. We love it very much. The rooms are gorgeous. We stayed in the Dean Martin room this time. Was beautiful they did a great job. Chocolate covered strawberries my Husband ordered to surprise me tasted amazing. My only complaint was the water pressure in the tub. It literally took 2 HOURS to fill up. I wanted to have a bath in the morning but didn't have the time to wait that long for a bath. The tub is Very large but the water pressure is the issue the water just trickled out. Aside from that the hotel is beautiful and would stay here again.

My husband and I chose this hotel as we always stay in Best Westerns and had earned enough points to get one of our nights free. They also offer a CAA discount. We booked the honeymoon suite - figured after 20+ years of marriage plus children we would appreciate it more than newly weds :) It was very cozy. Jacuzzi tub, fire place, kitchenette. The view however is of Hamilton but at night the lights were nice.

From the moment my husband and I came into the hotel to the time we left, the staff at the hotel made sure we had an incredible experience. When we first arrived at the hotel Kyle at the front desk was great - making us feel welcome and telling us about cool local places and different things we could check out during our stay. The hotel was clean and the amenities there were perfect. When we approached Carlos at the front desk about seeing if there was an upgraded suite available, he ended up putting us in the honeymoon suite completely FREE OF CHARGE! It was awesome - huge suite with whirlpool tub, beautiful fireplace, kitchen area and king size bed! Before seeing the suite, we were heading out for a few hours and needed to leave our luggage in the storage area by the front lobby. When we got back to the hotel, Kyle had already put our bags in our room for us and had even thought to place our perishable food items in the fridge :). BEST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!! Would recommend this hotel to anybody. Can't wait to go back again!

Upon Arrival our Premiere Suite was well appointed although you would expect to receive complimentary water in your room upon arrival. The toilet tissue was low grade for the type of suite we were in, we were rushed out of the room twice even when we asked for a half hour late check out. We also were locked out of our room during breakfast and took 15 minutes to have someone let us back in.

We stayed there on Saturday, November 5th. We read great reviews of the Hotel. We stayed on second floor. A live band played from about 9:30 pm to 12:25 am. The music was very loud. I called down at 11 pm asking if they could turn down the sound. I will as told no. On Sunday morning we noticed broken glass in the parking lot. The restaurant is good but not great. No need for multiple TV screens in restaurant

I booked a room through hotels.com, after an extremely frustrating day at work my husband and I arrived at this hotel Friday night for our stay. Turns out hotels.com did not actually book our room and although I had a confirmation and had already paid,the hotel was fully booked.The wonderful staff at this hotel felt really bad and upgraded our room for Saturday nights stay as well. This was not the hotels fault as the blame is with hotels.com.

We were only at Best Western Premier by Carmen for a night. It was a fairly smooth experience. The layout of the building was a little confusing, with the entrance to the hotel being at the back of the building, but that was no major issue. The decor is very flashy, kind of rock'n'roll meets old Hollywood style. The staff were nice and let us leave our luggage behind the front desk after we checked out while we made arrangements for our next accommodation. There's no complimentary breakfast, though there is a restaurant. The wifi was free but had a very poor signal. Overall a smooth experience.

This hotel is a delight to the sights and senses. A wonder in the city of Hamilton on the Mountain. Beautifully luxurious suites with jacuzzi tubs, kitchenettes and fireplaces. Great customer service and really quick check-in. We also visited Baci Restaurant which serves up great wood-burning pizza and other delectable delights.

This hotel was recommended to me by a client and I was not disappointed. Although it was a bit of a challenge to find the front entrance, once inside I was pleasantly surprised. I was warmly welcomed and my Best Western Rewards Card was immediately recognized. The theme rooms were "cute". I was in the "Tomei" room and Melissa's pictures adorned the walls. The room was ample. the bed comfortable and the shower stall impressive. Internet was included and there was coffee in the room. I ate dinner and breakfast in the Baci Restaurant on site and was impressed by the choices, quality, taste and reasonable price of the food,

This is how it should be done. Treats at the check in desk sets the tone right away. Upgraded to a suite but the price was better than a double room at a nearby dive! Fantastic room, large, kitchen, 2 thermostats that both worked!, and clean and comfy beds. Would find an excuse to go back.

Very clean & very beautiful hotel for your money. Our group found the unique device a welcome change. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful. The housekeeping staff are the hidden gem of this lovely property. I think I'll book one of the rooms with the very spacious walk in shower on my next stay.

This hotel provides outstanding rooms and service. So enjoyable and clean and the hotel floors and rooms are themed to add so much interest to any getaway. Hamilton's beautiful trail network for walking/biking is right across the street with access to the Bruce Trail also.

"Free parking, clean, good stay"

Stayed here on 28th September as a stopover between Niagara Falls and Owen Sound. Location was good for what we needed - near a main expressway but you can't hear the traffic. Friendly reception staff said it was a 15 minute drive to downtown Hamilton. Parking was free and unsecure. We had pre-planned a trip to Albion Falls, which did not disappoint. If you have a free couple of hours definitely visit Albion and Buttermilk Falls, which both offer free parking and a signed walking trail. Don't bother with Glendale Falls. Rooms are themed - we stayed in Joe Pesci...effort has gone into the decoration. Room was clean, bed comfortable, bathroom fine. Use of a medium sized fridge was handy to keep our drinks cool. Breakfast was included, which was a preset combination of various hot items. Personally I would have preferred the choice of what I wanted to eat, especially as I don't think either of us got halfway through it as the portions were too big for us. If I was passing through I would stay again.

We arrived very late at this lovely hotel around 9pm I think and were greeted very politely and enthusiastically by the young gentlemen manning the front desk. It is a lovely hotel with man Italian theme throughout. I loved the greys, the blacks and the reds they used int their decor. We had prepared ahead by looking where the hotel was located so we didn't have any trouble finding it. I chose this Best Western because I read the reviews on Trip Advisor and Ontario by Bike. We wanted to be able to take our fat tire bikes into our room at the hotel. Lots of B&B's don't really seem to have secure enough bike storage and what they provide is usually a smaller area which we find very stressful. There's nothng like being able to wheel your bikes into a elevator and into your room. We got a king room with the couch area so there was plenty of room for our bikes. I was a little disappointed in that we had the Room with Martin Scorsese's picture over the toilet. It made me wonder if all trip advisor reviews got that room because it's mentioned so much. I would have preferred to have an Italian actor or actress. Maybe I could request a king room with someone else in the bathroom for our next visit. The room looked lovely and elegant with the Italian colors. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have EVER slept on in a hotel and that's saying a lot. The plllows were great to. I love the fridge microwave sink area glass waterglasses etc. That was all great. The coffee was good with no after taste but it would have been even better with a Starbucks for the Keruig. I bring my own actually if I know in advance that a hotel has a Keruig machines so that wasn't a big deal. The room was very beautiful with lots of fluffy white towels etc and nice soaps etc. The biggest shock was that it seemed like someone forgot to clean the black bathroom tile floor. Because it was so late when we checked in I didn't want to move to another room so I just cleaned the floor with baby wipes. Because every thing else about the room was so great I decided this probsbly was just an accident that they forgot the floor when trying to get the room ready for check in. When in Hamilton we would definitely stay there again because of the hotels location to the multi use path that runs along the Red Hill expressway and the beauty of the hotel as well as the polite professional way in which we were treated by the hotel staff over the phone and in person at the hotel. There were no weddings because it was Thanksgiving weekend so the hotel was enjoyably quiet. We didn't eat in their restaurant because we were with family and friends at their homes for meals but we look forward to doing so next time we are there. It's definitely and excellent place to stay and premier as they say on the web.

We recently attended a wedding here and booked a room for the night. The room was nice and clean and spacious, we had the king suite. Lots of space for lots of us to get ready in. My one complaint about the room was there was a spot on the carpet right at the entrance to go into the living/kitchen space which was kind of crinkled up which caused me to trip in the middle of the night. We were also disappointed with the prices of snack at the front desk. The pool is a nice area, the pool had some black in the bottom and the hot tub was disgusting!! Green and limey. Gross Now onto the wedding.... I feel bad for the family members that had the wedding there. Horrible staff manners, they were very pushy and rushy with the ceremony, and in the reception our server was late, and when he finally got there he came up to our table and said " sorry i just got here, i am not sure what your having to eat but it will be here soon" Really?!? This is someones wedding, can we be a little more educated on whats going on. Secondly, as dessert was served, the servers started clearing the tables as some were still eating/socializing, and by this i mean clearing the center peices and table clothes, and then left them all balled up on the table for the remainder of the evening. Around 7:30pm we felt as if we were being rushed out, the mid night snack came and went just like that, table clothes still balled up, the servers dancing at the dj booth with the dj, mess ignored ( the mess they made ) Overall I give this hotel a 3. As i said before the room was ok. But the staff for the most part awful. The newly weds deserve some type of refund!!!!

"Looks can be deceiving"

This is a nice place to stay but.............If you are there on a weekend, I would suggest to ask for the floor where you can't here any wedding parties. There is only 1 floor for quietness and then we can slightly hear the music. We were there on a Sunday and there was 3 weddings. Don't be late for a checkout or Carlos will charge you a $20.00 late check "PLUS TAX!" lol Here's the highlight... The Baci Restaurante...Great Italian food! Wife and I totally enjoyed the ambiance, service and especially the food! Would I go back....yes..........when there is no weddings! ;-)

"Dificult to find even with GPA"

This hotel does not have the usual Best Western sign up front that you can spot easily from the road. When we followed the directions for GPS and it said arriving at destination we could see a building that said "Carmen's" but it looked more like a night club so we kept on driving thinking maybe we forgot N,E,S, or W when we put in the directions. No we definitely had the right address. The hotel is behind Carmen's and the sign is on the hotel but it is difficult to spot when you are travelling down the main road at the designated speed limit. Family also had a hard time finding the hotel when they came over and they live in Hamilton. The staff at the hotel were all marvelous and very helpful. The bed is comfortable, the room spotlessly clean and the hotel is nicely decorated and very modern. We had been travelling for a week and the first thing I wanted to do was to do some laundry. I was pleasantly surprised to find that there was no charge to use the washer and dryer. There were no events happening when we stayed so we had no issues with the parking. It was a terrific stay and I would definitely consider the Best Western on any future trips now that I know how to find it.

"Weekend stay"

We had two weddings on the same weekend and both were at this hotel so we decided to book a room for the two nights. The hotel staff were excellent and friendly, especially Carlos at the front desk. Pam was our bartender at the reception on Friday night and she did an amazing job. She makes the best caesars. The hotel itself and our room were very clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. We had the room with the jacuzzi, kitchenette, fireplace, king size bed, separate dressing area as well as a huge bathroom. Lots of room for two people to get ready at the same time without interfering with each other. The room is approximately 600 sq.ft. Well worth the money.

Last minute booking but superb welcome. Spotless hotel. Lovely staff. Breakfast not included - but after experiencing hotels with disposable crockery and utensils, and bland 'food' - it was joyous to have a bespoke breakfast, freshly cooked. Ate and loved the food in restaurant on night we arrived - busy and popular spot - and after eating there - it was easy to see why. Hotel was good value compared to other accommodation we stayed in.

Rarely can an experience prompt me to set up yet another account online for a review service like Trip Advisor. I'm usually one of those people who says they will review my stay to the hotel associate, but rarely (if ever) follow through. Yesterday, I was absolutely blown away by the Best Western in Hamilton. I've never thought I would ever type those words about a Best Western, but they are said with the upmost sincerity. After finishing a week-long gruelling move, my Fiancé and I needed a place to stay overnight in Hamilton. I was flying out in the morning, and we didn't want to have to deal with getting up ridiculously early to get to the airport. On a whim, I booked a reasonably priced room I found on booking.com that was close enough to the airport to allow for a little sleep in time. Exhausted and sore from carrying boxes out of our house and into the truck, we arrived at the hotel ready to collapse on an average bed in an average hotel room, order some average room service and and binge on CNN for a few hours. We were greeted by Tyler at the front desk, and automatically I knew I liked this guy. He was incredibly friendly and helpful, and gave me Brookside chocolates and a bottle off water upon arrival. When was the last time someone just handed you your favourite chocolate? I was grateful for the much needed sugar rush that satiated my ever growing ‘hanger' (hungry anger). Chocolate devoured, we headed up to room 306 to settle in for the evening. Walking down the hallway, I couldn't help but notice the impeccable (non-cheesy) decor. Each room had a different Italian thinkers/artists name on it, and ours was labeled ‘Da Vinci'. Opening the door, we were greeted by the best (and much needed) surprise ever. Our hotel room had a living area with a jacuzzi, couch, fireplace and kitchenette. Everything in the room was brand-new and decorated with Leonardo DaVinci art, books and information. The bed was heavenly and full of soft pillows and even softer sheets. A rainfall shower and bathroom was located just off to the side and there were a total of THREE sinks in the room. Why the three sinks impresses me, I don't know. It just does. Even the tile around the Jacuzzi and fireplace was slate-grey perfection. Thinking our evening couldn't get any better, we placed an order for room service with the Baci Restaurant, ordering Katerina Pasta, Chicken Parmesan and Tiramisu. Dinner arrived shortly after, and seeing a bottle of Pinot Noir on our table, our lovely waitress insisted she bring us better wine glasses. Points for service! The food was unbelievable. Rarely do you find that authentic Italian taste in Canada, but these dishes exceeded my expectations. You know a chef is serious when she/he expertly slices and fans garlic for garnish. After bingeing on quick snacks and fast food during the moving process for the past week, we really needed a good meal. The tiramisu didn't last very long, we definitely should have gotten two. One Jacuzzi bubble bath and bottle of wine later, we were happily satiated drifting off to sleep in our king size bed, to the sound of Don Lemon on CNN. Pure bliss. Thank you Tyler for making our stay extra awesome, it was a unexpected surprise that we won't forget. I'm (actually) looking forward to staying at this specific Best Western again. Tyler informed us that each room was individually decorated after a famous individual based on the floors theme. Apparently there is a Sylvester Stallone room that's autographed by the man himself! Fingers crossed for that room next time. We have found our favourite hotel in Hamilton, and won't be staying anywhere else! I recommend this hotel to the couples who desperately need a date night in the midst of chaos and stress.

Great Hotel,, BUT YOU MUST CHECK RATE AT CHECK IN, I booked 4 rooms 2 of the rooms where the same but had different rates, did not notice at check in...you would think to keep a customer who travels to Ontario a few times a year, The Hotel would have given the credit and charged the rooms at the same rate. customer service in this matter was very bad, called Hotel and was told I should have checked what I signed at check in. I would not expect this for this Hotel, I have stayed at hotels around the world and this is a first.. would not stay here again very petty for this Hotel, Even called Best Western head office and said because I booked directly with Hotel they could do nothing but try to call for me and they received the same answer as I did.. Best Western apologized and would have liked to help but since the Hotel has last say they could not help...

I travel a lot. Fine. I chose this based on its TripAdvisor reviews. I needed a decent place in a hurry, seemed like a good choice. NOT ENTIRELY. They have FIVE WEDDINGS happening. So, I arrived to no parking. Perfect. I was told to park by the flowers which didn't seem like an entirely collision free zone safe for my rental car. Then, I could hear the wedding music until 11ish. Then the wedding crowd were in the hallway at 1:45 am deciding their next move. And the elevator had a non-cigarette smoke odour for about 30 minutes (i.e. smelled like dope) -- clearly vented out as it was gone when I got back from my supper run. None of this was clearly the fault of the hotel (the people left hallways after a bit, the elevator wasn't their fault) but it still wasn't ideal. Finally, I called at 10:30 for a late check out. I slept in after staying up with the wedding noise. I was told there was a $20 fee for 30 minutes. WHAT?? 30 minutes? Please. I mean $20 is nothing in the grand scheme but it was annoying. Anyways, I was a bit grumpy about the charge and they kindly waved it. The front desk crowd was AMAZING. They tried to make 5 weddings plus "regular" guests work. They offered parking options. They gave good food recommendations. They next morning, they waved late fee, they gave great local attractions (shopping) recommendations with directions and were very pleasant. They are the saving grace of the hotel. Additionally, the room was spacious, clean and new. Once in the room, all was well (minus the hallway 2am party crowd). The internet worked smoothly. And it does seem like a great spot for a wedding/party as they were easily able to accommodate large crowds and everyone seemed happy.

Stayed 2 nights while in Hamilton for a wedding. Nice clean room. All staff, front desk, house keeping and maintenance, were very friendly and helpful. Good amenities. Reasonably priced. Pool, hot tub and gym were clean and well kept.

Carmen's banquet hall across the alley neither reduced their volume nor turned off their music till 2:40am Sunday morning. If you stay in room 305 during wedding season, be sure to bring your ear plugs. Nothing could make me stay here ever again! Loyal customers should never be booked on the end units beside the hall. I feel ripped off, this was a platinum room. Save your money and stay somewhere else .

This has to be the best hotel I've ever stayed in! From our initial experience at checkin when we were greeted by smiles from both front desk clerks to their helpful attitude when we asked to change our arrangements. We both loved our room which was spotlessly clean and arranged perfectly from the 42 inch TV directly in front of the very comfortable king size bed to the desk off the side. The bathroom was outstanding with a modern design. We loved our room so much we extended our stay twice! Even though the hotel was full (several weddings booked that weekend), the hotel front desk staff was able to accommodate us and keep us in the same room by rearranging some other reservations. The hotel has an excellent restaurant on site which we ate a deliciously prepared breakfast every morning. And oh, did I mention that the whole hotel was themed with movie stars? We stayed in the Mario Lanza Room which was appropriate for me since I am from Philadelphia, PA, the birthplace of Mario. In the restaurant old black and white classic movies are on continual loop which makes for yet another delightful experience. What I liked the best was the design of the room including that fantastic modern bathroom, the friendliness of the hotel staff including the housekeeper, front desk personnel and even the waitresses in the restaurant. I'm trying to think of what I liked the least and I honestly cannot think of anything. Kudos to the owners of this hotel, they know how to run absolutely fantastic hotel accommodations. They made us feel like royalty!

We stayed one night for a Tigercat CFL game and it was a great choice. It is right off the major expressway through town," The Linc" making it excellent for out of town guests. It is very close to Limeridge mall, for those taking the free transit downtown to the Tigercats games. The staff were very helpful, even printing out driving directions to nearby restaurants as. A unique feature of this hotel is that every hotel room is individualized to a different Italian movie star, director etc. The actors name is outside the room, pictures of the actor decorate the room and there is a framed biography on the wall. A DVD player even has a copy of movies featuring that actor. The only negative was the pillows . We would certainly stay here again.

My two children and I stayed here August 24th and September 1, 2016. With the exception of one little hitch, which I will note below, both times our stay was great. The rooms were both very clean with no issues there. The decor is unique , paying homage to different actors and actresses. The suites are very modern and the beds are very comfortable! The front desk has complementary fruit and cookies on the counter , which my kids loved. On both occasions the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The check-in and check-out process was seamless. The only hiccup that we had on our last stay there was a blocked sink. It would drain, but VERY slowly. It's important to note that I didn't say anything to them (it was late in the evening when we noticed this and we were leaving the next morning). I did mention it to them upon check-out and they said they would attend to it. I have every bit of confidence that IF I had brought it to their attention while staying there, it would have either been fixed, or they would have moved us to another room. This I don't know for sure, but based on the experiences I have had I believe this would have been the outcome. I would stay there again, for sure.

We arrived at 9:20PM on a Friday night for a 2 night stay. We had a nice warm welcome from Carlos who tried to assist as best he could although we could not have anything to eat (restaurant was closed at 9PM) or go for a drink at the bar ( bar was used for a wedding reception). So this is how we discovered that the hotel is completely focused on weddings. We were told they have 5 weddings/day 4 days a week at this time of the year. Saturday went well but things got really bad on Sunday morning. We were awakened early Sunday morning (before 9AM) by blasting music on the terrasse. Apparently they were testing the speakers for a wedding at 10AM. Music stayed on until I got up to call the reception which was quite a while later. Then we could not have breakfast at the hotel Sunday morning because restaurant was reserved for a wedding function. We kindly asked for 15 minutes extra to leave the room. It was refused. I regret to conclude that once this hotel had your business , they are eager to see you go. I took the time to talk to manager on duty to explain my experience, he could not care less. One positive side is that the rooms are nice but please do not take room 204 or 304. you will be next to the terrasse where they hold the outdoor weddings and you will find it quite noisy.

This is a fine hotel,contemporary design, amenities and good staff. Reserve in advance and look for specials. There are deals to be had. Clean, well managed and worry free. Rooms are large and comfortable. Deserving of a top ranking,but published rates are high. The best Best Western has. No breakfast and though the resturants is good, breakfast there is expensive.

It was a treat from the moment we walked through the doors. We were greeted and checked in promptly. We arrived early and were still able to check in. Our platinum suite was magnificent, with high end finishes and plush towels, a great bed and TV and space to move. I can't wait to stay again.

Found hotel on Trip Advisor and can agree on top ranking for hotels in Hamilton. Very up dated, clean and employing the friendliest of staff. Parking is limited if restaurant is open as well as Carmen's for events. Easy access to highway. One if my all time favorite stays.

It is less than 1h to the falls, location is good for stopover, but it was quite as well, for entertainment we went across the street bowling. We stayed one night, Absolute a recommendation

We loved our 6 night stay this summer at Carmen's. We had an excellent room at a fair price. The bed was super comfortable. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The restaurant Baci is very good quality and price. The hotel is well situated as it is relatively close to Niagara, wine-country, and hiking for waterfalls and other outdoor activities. We will definitely go back to this hotel.

The fact that it is reasonably priced and offers more personality than some of those overpriced, stuff hotels makes it that much charming to guests. This is by far the cleanest best hotel in Hamilton. They really pay attention to the little touches here. Everything is Italian themed and they cater to those little details in room names and the cute Italian restaurant in the lobby. The pool and facilities are clean and well maintained. There is a nice hot tub beside the pool. The rooms are designed and furnished impeccably and the bathroom has a nice modern feel. In every room in a bar sink and pull down faucet and microwave and fridge to use during your stay. We had a great view out of our room #202 of a wedding venue set up that way gorgeous. The rooftop patio was also really nice and boasted a great view of the city. The staff were friendly and accommodating. I would definitely return to this hotel. Good work Carmens!!

"One Particularly Poorly Situated Room"

Stayed one night at this hotel for a family wedding. Me, my wife, our three month old and my mother-in-law. I booked a double King room suite for the extra space and presumed sleep comfort. Boy, was I wrong. The actual room they gave us (#210) had its hallway open to: wedding ceremonies hosted by the hotel, the hotel lobby, first floor banquet halls. Thus, we had noise entering our room from mid-afternoon to the wee hours of the morning. Imagine trying to sleep with a baby in that sort of sound. Normally, rooms are situated along narrow hallways away from noise producing areas. To have this one placed in a spot in such a way to allow open air sound to easily travel to the room seems wrong. This room needs to be reallocated for some other non-sleeping purpose or have its hallway redesigned to provide better sound insulation. If you decide to stay here, be sure to avoid this room if sleep is one of your priorities.

I spent one night at this hotel, it's very very clean, bright, the bed was incredibly good (mattress and linens and pillows were great), and the bathroom is roomy. The front desk staff were very helpful and friendly, as was the staff in Baci, the hotel's restaurant, where we had a delicious breakfast.

This place is about 10 minutes from downtown, but very clean and modern. Nice pool area and friendly staff. Rooms were spacious and well kept, parking is free. There are restaurants and shopping in the area as well.

I really enjoyed my stay here. I plan to return. Great staff and really nice rooms. The restaurant is really good. Great food and nice cold beer. Breakfast was also really good and great value. I love the BW Premium hotels!

Just returned from a 2 week stay in this fabulous hotel. Room and all areas are very clean and finished to a high standard. There seems to be events on every day with weddings at the weekend. We were on the top floor and there was no noise from the roof terrace above. The car park gets very busy at the weekends but the overflow car park is just a 20 second walk across a very quiet road so i dont understand why other people are complaining about that. Roof terrace was lovely and used the pool once which was also very nice. One small bad thing about the room was the kitchen area, there is a microwave fridge and coffee machine but no plates or cutlery to use to actually eat with but in fairness we ate out pretty much every night. The staff were very helpful and friendly and checking in was quick and easy. Definitely be returning here on pur next trip to Canada. Keep up the good work guys

Rooms are a nice size, as are the bathrooms. Very quiet hotel. Comfortable beds. Handy having a mini kitchen in the room. The express checkout means no line-ups. I recommend the restaurant. We went for dinner and again for breakfast. Friendly service and good food.

This place was amazing and the staff were amazing. Very clean and quiet rooms. We would recommend this place to EVERYONE. Max, Carlos, Sara, Chris and Kyle were fantastic and believe me we had lots of questions for them being new to area and they helped and answered everything we asked. They deserve recognition for their AWESOME customer Service

The place is absolutely charming! Their themed-rooms are neat, clean and well-appointed; it's obviously a top-notch quality hotel. Their location is away from traffic and noise, the hotel ambiance itself is very welcoming. My family were just impressed as soon as they stepped inside the hotel and rooms. All the amenities were working/functional inclusive of cabled tv with blu-ray player, microwave and a Keurig brewer to boot. And the bathrooms were just immaculate. Oh, and the kids just loved the pool, they had a very hard time leaving. I guess I've seen too many bad hotels that I'm just so impressed with this one. But, in my opinion, they deserve the thousands of good reviews they've received. For anyone looking for a nice and comfortable place to stay, my entire family highly recommend Carmen's! ??????

Took our grown son to see Paul McCartney in Hamilton. The two bedroom suite was exactly what we needed. Common area gave us a space to be together but the second bedroom gave our son his own space. This was our first time in Hamilton and the front desk were very helpful in answering all our questions. All staff were very friendly. The hotel was beautiful and the restaurant had fantastic food and wonderful staff.

Very clean hotel, brand new amenities. Friendly staff and amazing Italian you can have at Baci Ristorante. We tried their pasta and pizza and it was just a very good pick. The hotel's location is convenient.

I very much enjoyed my stay here. There isn't much to do in the area so we ate downstairs and the it was most delicious. The theme of the hotel was also interesting and entertaining, it has a movie gangster vide. We all enjoyed it.

Have stayed here twice recently for business. Striking hotel with great amenities and a great fitness centre! Each room has a different movie actor theme. I have stayed in two of the King Suites on the top floor (5th floor - rooms 507 and 509) and both are excellent rooms.

"New and Good"

We stayed for two nights. Rooms are themed after Italian actors and entertainers. The hotel is about 6 years old and is kept in very good condition. Located close to the Linc and the Red Hill Expressway. The restaurant, Baci is good. A little slow with service but the wood baked pizza was very good. The only negative comment would be the quality of the coffee.

"Nice Hotel - skip the restaurant"

Stayed here for a family wedding at Carmen's next door. Did not look at other hotels, but this was perfect location because of the wedding. However, the restaurant service on Sat night was extremely slow - food was good but Sooo slow. Go somewhere else.

Excellent hotel with staff that are off the charts in terms of providing outstanding service. This hotel is five years old but it's appearance could make you think it was very new. The grounds, the lobby and the rooms are all incredibly well cared for. The staff we encountered at check in and at breakfast were extremely pleasant and helpful.

We had the pleasure of staying at this hotel for a family wedding. The first thing you will notice during your stay is the Italian influence. Many of the rooms are named after famous Italian movie stars or singers. And they will theme the room based on the celebrity. I'm a movie buff so I loved this. We stayed in a suite so our daughter could have her own space during our visit. It was incredibly spacious and clean. Service is very good and Baci restaurant was outstanding - great Italian cuisine. TIP: make reservations because this hotel does good wedding business and they are always busy. The only thing I could complain about is that there was a ripple in the carpet in our room that was big enough to be noticeable but not so big that you could trip on it. Also, we had a coffee maker in our room but no coffee cups - which really didn't matter to us because we didn't use it. If we wanted something a quick call to the front desk meant prompt delivery of our wishes. We had room service one afternoon and the food again was outstanding. There is a bowling alley across the street if you need to take the kids somewhere to blow off steam. The Albion Falls are a 3 minute drive from the hotel if you want a nature trail - but be careful the walk is not for the young or elderly. Special commendation to the front desk staff who rectified a problem for me when I left the hotel and realized on my return home that I had left a couple articles of clothing behind. They knew another member of our party was still in the lobby and got my belongings to them so they could deliver back to me. Phenomenal service!!!! A recommended stay rating from me.

This is a very nice hotel. When you walk into the door, the first thing you wonder is, "is this really a Best Western?!" It is! The art and decor is all pop art, and all of the rooms are named after directors and actors. There are pictures attached of the lobby and our room - the lobby is clean, fresh, and has a great space. The staff is wonderful and paid attention to us. There was not a wait even though there was a crowd of people at the desk. We were acknowledged as we walked up to the counter. There is a small area next to the desk that you can purchase beverages and snacks. At the desk, there is a free cookie jar. They were a great welcome snack. We were checked in to our room in under 5 minutes. The one thing - we went up for a wedding. The bride had told me that we were going to get a welcome bag from her. We never did. I am not sure if perhaps they ran out, or if the staff forgot to give us one. The room was spacious - the bathroom had a waterfall shower and good lighting. There was a kitchen area that had a fridge (not stocked), Keurig (with cream, sugar, and coffee), water glasses, a cork screw (which I thought was great seeing as how when I travel I always forget mine and have to buy another one for my wine habit!) and a sink outside of the bathroom. Probably sounds silly, but the second sink was a great feature for rinsing out cups and not having to get water from the bathroom. The bed was a king bed, nice sheets and pillows. The bed was too firm for my liking; but it was not lumpy or uncomfortable. Just personal preference. The wedding that we went to was on the rooftop - great location for the ceremony! After, while the new couple went for pictures, there was an open bar and appetizers for the guests. We then moved to the banquet room where we had a great dinner, music, and another open bar. The bride told me that she had been able to select the drinks for the night and the cost of the wedding was very reasonable and everything (table settings to DJ) was included. After being in that room, my one comment: bring a sweater! It was so cold! Once the dancing started, it was fine though; but be aware when you are enjoying the company at dinner, you're going to want to be wrapped up! There was a restaurant in the hotel that we did not try. The pool looked very clean and well kept when we walked through. There was a fitness center. All in all, a wonderful experience, and my dear friend couldn't have had a more perfect location for her nuptials!

I stayed 3 night at this hotel with my wife and teenage son. The hotel is beautiful inside and out. You will be welcomes by a very friendly staff. The rooms are perfect. Baci restaurant is excellent but fairly expensive. The restaurant staff is amazing. We had the pleasure of being served by Luana. Checking-in and checking-out was very easy. The gym is well equipped with dumbells that go up to 90 pounds. Loved African Lion Safari. Sad that the Canadian Football Hall of Fame was closed. This hotel is the place to stay in Hamilton.

Recently booked a room at Best Western Premier C Hotel by Carmen's and I was blown away from start to finish. The staff at the front desk were amazing to deal with. First of all - I was hoping to check in super early (11AM) - an issue that other hotels have given major issues about before - but not here - there were no bad attitudes or exasperated sighs or anything of the sort - it was nothing but smiles and pleasantries which I was so grateful for. Once checked in, we made our way to the room - which was absolutely beautiful, clean and modern. The beds were comfy. The mini fridge in the room was a bonus and we enjoyed the use of the pool which was lovely, clean and well maintained. They offer room service during certain hours of the day, Free parking and WIFI. The cost was on par with what I had planned to spend - maybe even a little less once the CAA discount was applied. Even tho I am fairly local to this area - I will definitely be returning here even just for an evening away from home. I highly recommend to anyone needing a place to stay in this area - this hotel will not disappoint.

I am going to start with my one negative comment. The breakfast coffee in the Baci restaurant is awful. My heart drops when I see coffee served out of an insulated jug - and I was right to feel this. Bitter and stale tasting I am afraid. It is a real shame you cannot get a typical breakfast coffee (cappuccino or latte) with your breakfast especially as the coffee machine is there to be used. Apart from that, the breakfast was good (generous oat meal portion, toast/jam, juice, tea/coffee) for CAN$6.95. There are lots of others good priced options. Okay - OTHERWISE I highly recommend this hotel. Very clean and modern with good sized rooms and en suite facilities. The in room coffee is very good and there are complimentary drinks machines. The staff are professional and very helpful. Carlos and Max have just the right approach to customer care, and the cookies and lemonade in reception are a nice touch. The pool is nice to use and so is the fitness centre. Parking is plentiful. Would I stay here again - most definitely yes. A good location for exploring Toronto and Niagara and surrounds.

We stayed here just one night on our way to Toronto. Beautiful hotel, our 2 rm suite was perfect, spacious, for our family of 4. We had 2 king beds and a sofa couch. We stayed in the Sinatra room. Love the theme and the Sinatra dvd and book for us to look at in the room. The shower set up didn't stop the water from spraying out but that wasn't a big deal. Kids got their own room. Staff was very friendly. We got hungry after 9 ventured out to eat. Lots if choices near by. We heard some very rowdy guest arrive late at night but they must have passed out bc we didn't hear them again until they had what sounded like a pillow fight in the hallway the next morning. I think they were adults. Used the gym -two treadmills made it convenient for my daughter and i to get our mile in. I'd stay here again maybe try the Madonna room.

"Not the average Best Western"

This is the nicest Best Western I have seen. Staff took pride in their job and hotel. Rooms are modern and clean. Our room had all of the essentials (fridge,coffee maker,microwave). Beds are comfortable. Big coffee station on the second floor common area. Great restaurant in the Hotel. (Baci-you will need reservations at standard eating times). Standard Best Western pool and hot tub- it was great, as we were the only one at the pool. Outside is mainly parking lot. Big arcade and bowling alley (Splitsville) across the road from the hotel. New outdoor strip mall (under 1km).

We rented a suite plus a second room for family of 7. Rooms were spacious, parking was great. Had a terrific family time in pool. Close access to freeways and shopping. Close to family in Stoney Creek. Friendly staff and smooth check in. Would definitely return here again.

I would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel to anyone. From the moment we arrived, the service from staff was excellent and Carlos, on reception, was outstanding, having recalled an earlier telephone conversation I had with him. He went out of his way to ensure we were happy with everything. Great value in the restaurant where we ate both dinner and breakfast ad again, the staff were first class. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite which had great facilities.

This is newer BW Premium Hotel so it should be very nice. The room was spacious and well appointed. The bed extremely comfortable. Staff was friendly and helpful. We booked the room using points so the cost was zero, And because we were visiting family we did not use the restaurant or room service. The pool area is indoors and is kept very clean. towels are available at the pool.

Great hotel, our room was modern, spacious and clean, we loved the shower. We stayed for 4 nights and in that time there were 2 weddings. We stayed in room 203 which if you looked out of our window you could touch the wedding party. It was noisy during the day but we were in and out of our room, there were no weddings at night thank god. The carpark was very busy due to the weddings but we still managed to park ok. In the restaurant bar there is a guy that makes authentic Italian pizza, he was great and his pizza was tasty too. It took us 45mins to drive to Niagra, theres also a good shopping outlet just before you get there. I would definitely recommend this hotel if you want to stay in Hamilton.

At the front desk I was greeted with perhaps the most friendly, kind and helpful person I've ever encountered at a hotel check-in. After a smooth check-in I arrived to my extremely affordable Pacino suite room to be astonished at how beautifully decorated and meticulously clean it was! I will be taking advantage of this soaker tub and fireplace with a cool beverage on one of the evenings I stay here ?. I recommend this hotel to everyone and anyone seeking lodging for business or pleasure! And just so everyone knows, I am as picky as it comes in regards to cleanliness and style. I stay in many, many hotels across Canada due to travel for business and I am hard to impress! I am now off to try their in-house restaurant, Baci Ristorante, for lunch which I've read is the best restaurant around. I am certain it won't disappoint! I will send further review ??

"Tries to be too sophisticated -- and fails"

Hotel caters to conferences, weddings, etc., but does not have enough parking for a basic compliment of hotel guests. I had to park nearly 1/2 mile away when returning from an early dinner. Bathroom is dark and unwelcoming. There is a Blu-ray player, big carpeted logs on the beds, and a separate bar sink -- none of which I used. But there is no usual complimentary breakfast. Hotel falls quite a bit below other Best Western properties in my opinion.

"Definitely the most luxurious Best Western I've stayed at to date"

This hotel is a wonderful place to stay while in Hamilton but it is definitely not downtown. The staff at the front desk were friendly, courteous, helpful and very accommodating especially Carlos. The room was spacious and immaculate like the rest of the hotel. As the hotel is high up a mountain we had a spectacular view of the city from our room. I could not believe it when they told me the hotel was 5 years old, it looked brand new. The hotel is very well kept. We had a good rest, the bed was very, very comfortable. We were not there long enough to try the restaurant "Baci" but it certainly looked very nice. I would highly recommend this hotel if you don't mind not being downtown.

We stayed here a while ago. The last stay was awesome. The manager was wonderful. This time.... Not so much. The room was clean but unremarkable. The service was/is horrible. Had a conference call asked for a 12:30 checkout was told they would charge extra. Really?? We stayed here because our last visit was great. I'm very disappointed in the service here this time. We also ordered a (BLT) Half a piece of beacon, hard as ever. Not happy. What a difference a year or 2 makes.

Great place to stay, rooms are very nice, hotel staff is great. Fitness room is fine, and restaurant has fabulous food. Hotel is close to some other restaurants and a big box retail plaza. Easy access to the parkway, although at rush hour the pace can be slow on the parkway

I've been staying in a number of Hotels this year for business reasons and this was easily the best experience we had. The staff was warm and accommodating, we were actually surprised upon our arrival just how friendly the young man at the front desk was. It was incredibly welcoming and made us feel valued. The room was unbelievable especially for the price. As soon as we stepped inside it felt better than the photos we viewed before deciding. It's so sleek and modern but at the same time romantic and sexy. Just an overall pleasant experience and I can't wait until I need to book a hotel in the area again! An additional note, I'm originally from Stoney Creek and can't believe something so quality exists that close to home!

There is NO better place to stay! Love everything about this place! The staff, the food, the room, everything about this place is great. Highly recommended. The pool area is ok. The fitness room is fine for its purpose. The only down fall might be that the parking lot gets super full on Sunday nights because the restaurant gets so full for the 1/2 off pasta dishes Sunday nights!

I chose this hotel, in part, because of the ratings of both the hotel and the attached restaurant during our road trip. Both surpassed my expectations. The room was very clean, comfortable and spacious. Bath was very clean and featured plush and ample towels. Only inconvenience was waiting for the room to be checked during checkout, in order to refund deposit (evidently some people still smoke in rooms!!) Aside from that, it was a truly restful experience, which, as a traveler, is appreciated!

"Please provide more water"

The in-room whirlpool takes 2 hours to fill up because the water pressure is so low. Could you please please update this. You hotel is amazing, but I need to fill the whirlpool in about 10 minutes or so. I know you are trying to save water but it does not make for a comfortable bath. Also, please install adjustable shower heads, with a hand attachment, and a full shower door, not just a half shower door. The water will drip on the floor. Could you kindly make the above mentioned changes. Thanks so much.

Stayed at this hotel for business. It was a very nice hotel although the customer service was lacking. The check in greeting was poor(not like I cared). I broke some glass in my room and they came and brought a broom and dust pan and left it outside the room. Then front staff didnt take proper notes about extended check out and the the new person in the morning didn't believe us.

The room was huge. We stayed in the "Gucci" which was very cute. Photo's on the wall Gucci themed and even had a book about Gucci on the desk I read in bed at night. That was a nice treat. Our room had a kitchenette, luxurious king bed, large sofa and even a jacuzzi tub in front of the television! Quiet on our floor and it was convenient location as the wedding I went to was next door at Carmen's Banquet Hall. Our check in was fast and easy. Brandy was very friendly. I ate at the hotel restaurant, Baci, between the church service and reception and the food was excellent. All in all, fabulous experience. Will definitely stay at this hotel again. Even just for an over night/weekend relaxing get away.

This was probably my favourite hotel room and stay ever. The décor of the rooms and hotel were outstanding. Spacious king room with Jacuzzi and mini bar. Loved the décor and space provided. I came to hamilton for an interview at McMaster and was at my interview when I got repeated calls from the front desk telling me i had to check out at 1130am, i had informed them of a late checkout and when I got back to the hotel the person at the front desk handed me a bill for 40 dollars which I did not sign and asked to speak to the manager, at which point he said he's not here, he'll call you. I never received a call. I was charged 40 dollars for checking out at 1230.

We stayed here for a night for a concert last night. What a beautiful hotel. However it's in the middle of nowhere. I called the night I booked the reservation to ask how much a cab to downtown would be they said 25 to 30 dollars it was more like 40 to 45. Had I know it was this much I would have stayed downtown. As well upon check in they noted that the restaurant was also closed that day. All of which would have been a deciding factors in just staying downtown. But the accommodation is A1. It's clean and the staff are very friendly. I'd stay again if I was passing through or looking for a romantic night away.

Fantastic room! The premier king room has an amazing jet tub to relax in, huge TV, and super comfortable king bed. We were only there for one night and are so happy that we decided to go for the upgrade. The only thing that could have been better was if they could have had some control over the weather and prevented the freezing rain from knocking the power out ;)

Great place to stay for sure. You will not be let down. Nice restaurants near by to eat, and of course the dinner theatre and Cineplex movie theatre just down the road. Also close to the Lincoln M Alexander pkwy which is handy. Hotel staff are always cheerful and friendly, willing to lend a helping hand without even asking.

I stayed here before and after a wedding at Carmens. It is amazing to be so close to the wedding and being able to go back to your room to freshen up and after a long day and night at the wedding! The room was spacious and clean the bed was comfortable and it was unbelievably hot but our room was nice and cool! The front desk attendant was pleasant both when we checked in and out! There was ample parking on site! Well worth it if you have a wedding here or just want to try there amazing Italian restaurant .

We stayed in one of the Platinum Suites which includes a fireplace, whirlpool tub and kitchenette. The room was clean and well maintained, gas fireplace was a highlight. Somewhat disappointed that we were told $20 for late checkout, which I declined and then when we found that there was no plates, bowls or utensils in the kitchenette the front desk told us they wanted $3 to bring them to us. Not what I expected from a "Premier" property. The "full-kitchenette" does include mini fridge, microwave, coffee maker and kitchen sink (no cook-top). There is a bottle opener and wine glasses but nothing else. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would return. If I wanted late check-out I would negotiate it upon booking.

I enjoyed my stay (I was attending a family wedding.) The room was nicely decorated: loved the Keurig right in the room with the complimentary tea and coffee, etc. Microwave and fridge were handy, too. I would definitely recommend this hotel to family and friends.

Was pleasantly surprised to find its both close to all things for food and entertainment but far enough away to not be to loud. We were booked in here by a business colleague Very pleasantly surprised with everything about this place! Very high attention to detail in every aspect from individual rooms named after significant Italian achievers, all 52 of them! Nicely renovated rooms, spacious, good sized beds, walk in showers too Loved the easy to use tv remote after some hotels having so called smart tv's take me 30 mins to get to use it! Would not hesitate to highly recommend this place.

This hotel was really nice. When you check in they really do make you feel special. I liked how the mat in front of the elevator said "good afternoon" I suspect they change it three times a day. It reminded me of being on a cruise where the carpets in the elevator changed to tell you what day it was. My room was great. Big enough for me to workout in to my Beachbody videos. I didn't eat at the restaurant but it was packed so that says good things. The hotel is in a bit of an odd area. Lots of bigbox stores close by. If I lived in Hamilton I would for sure put this place on my list for a date-night staycation. My room had a room number but it was also called "Prada" and had some Prada stories in it so that was nice. My room had a euro shower. So the glass wall only goes half way and the shower head is a rain style one. Not my favourite but some people love them. I'd stay there again

From check in to check out, we had a great one night stay. The staff at the front desk are very helpful and friendly. The room was clean and very well decorated. We appreciated the nice touch of having the rooms named and individualized. The bathroom was modern. We had a lovely lunch at the hotel restaurant. The staff are very friendly and the food is good. Location is a bit outside of the Hamilton area (15min drive to downtown), but well worth it. Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone wishing to stay in the Hamilton area.

From the initial greeting at the check in counter I had pleasant staff with great smiles that were eager to be helpful in assuring me a pleasant evening. As I am a Best Western / Harley Davidson reward member I was told that I had been upgraded in my room and given a welcome bag with a treat and drink of choice. The room was more than I had expected and was sorry I was alone and did not share with my wife but it was a business overnight booking. The gym was clean and well equipped as was the pool and hot tub to help me stay on my work out resolution and was well stocked with soft towels. The final bonus was the comfort of the bed and pillows allowing for a full nights rest. Thanks to the staff

One of the best hotels we've been lately! We rent a fantastic suite with whirlpool and fireplace. Very quiet during the day and the night. Staff is very pleasant and helpful. I really love the warm water pool!! Free access to pool and free parking for costumers it's definitely a point in favour! The only reason to not give the "5 Stars" is the lack of cleanliness in the microwave, which still had leftovers and all the mirrors in the suite were dusty and greasy.

No triple A audit is telling. You will be impressed by this Hotel if you travel to Hamilton - it would be hard not to be. Once you have stayed more than one time a few of the key details will stand out. The restaurant closes very very early... this aligns with the overall mantra - cut costs. The coffee is terrible considering the rich Italian Heritage on display. The details are very easy to point out once the initial wow factor of all the talent that has performed at Carmen's, and likely never spent a night in this property, wears off. Besides the obvious cliches that are abundantly on display, you should also expect to experience; poor TV reception, faulty alarm clocks, almost zero interest in addressing noisy and obnoxious guests, Costco purchased snack offerings (resold at a premium price) among many other "minor details" The reality is you will pay a premium to stay here -- perhaps that is a good thing considering the city. When you catch the staff in full swing (between the hours of 5 and 8 pm), things are great... if you are a business traveler reconsider this and look at the Courtyard. This property has a clear vision, to be the choice for weddings and dinner theater folks of the local kind. They truly don't cater, or seem to care, about business travelers what-so-ever. I give a four because I am fair. The reality is, they are a four... with a few minor enhancements they can be a five.... trouble is, I dont truly think they care to be.

My family (brothers & sister) 5 of us arrived in Hamilton for our brothers funeral service with plans to stay 1 week. We called the Best Western Premier C Hotel by Carmen's solely because we had best western points. We had no idea how kind, considerate, accommodating & friendly they would be. The 2 bedroom suite was roomy clean and comfortable. we ate all of our breakfasts in their restaurant as well as 1 dinner with pasta meals 1/2 price..Delicious.our family would like to thank Jennilee Ronna Nicole chris and carlos for their over the top care of our family during this very emotion filled week..

"Nice Clean Hotel - Almost Perfect in Many Ways"

This is a nice hotel that's very clean. It handles a lot of weddings since it's attached to Carmen's banquet hall. The location for the traveler is not ideal since it's not really close to anything within walking distance. Shopping centres are nearby but still short drive. I didn't see a restaurant within walking distance. It has a well equipped weight room with 2 quality treadmills. The pool was OK, the hot tub was out of commission. Staff were very friendly, wifi is free and so is the outdoor parking - no indoor parking available. The rooms are spacious and well appointed - they even have safes. One constructive criticism is in regard to the pillows on the king size bed. There were 4 plus a tubular pillow. These are OK but all the pillows were 'high' or thick. Some of us prefer a thin pillow so we don't get a stiff neck by the morning. I usually bring my own pillow but forgot. It would be nice if the hotel supplied 2 thick and 2 thin pillows...this would be appreciated. Otherwise the room was perfect. Overall I would stay here again however I like the Sheraton downtown a bit better.

Hotel was phenomenal. I stayed here with my bridesmaids the night before my wedding and of course on my wedding night. It was actually hard to leave for the honeymoon, because this hotel was so amazing! Very luxurious, extremely friendly staff (especially Carlos and Steven - the bridesmaids and I had such a great time with them, they were a blast!) and the staff were always willing to go out of the way to help you with anything you need. The Bridal suite was the most beautiful hotel room I've ever seen. If you have to stay in Hamilton - you have to stay here!

This has to be one of the best hotels I have ever stayed at especially for the price. Everything seemed new, fresh, clean and everything worked. The room was great and well laid out. This will be my "go to" hotel when I'm in the area.

"Best hotel in area"

If you're looking for class, luxury and style, stay here! The rooms are modern and chic. The restaurant serves up great meals. The front desk staff is welcoming and very accommodating. If there's a wedding happening, parking becomes an issue but the staff is more than ready to help out. Don't be let down, just ask where to park. The hot tub was nice and intimate. Worth the money!

Awesome hotel very nice room very clean love the style and the in house restaurant Baci is very good too, easy access of highway and good parking it's included. Next time when we come back to Hamilton we we definitely be staying at the Best Western!

This is the best hotel I have ever stayed at!! Really cool each room has its own theme. I stayed in the Al Pacino honeymoon suite. I cant say enough about this hotel. The hotel was quiet had every amenity you needed, and the rooms and bed were very comfortable. Usually I do not sleep well at hotels but this hotel was amazing. I recommend to anyone!!!

I have stayed at this Best Western in Hamilton in the past. I stay when working in Toronto, Mississauga, Oakville, Niagara Falls ect. Anytime the drive back to hotel is no more than 70 minutes. It worth the drive. The staff are always going out of their way to make your stay the best. The restaurant food is 5 star and the prices are more then reasonable. Everything you need is near by also - gas station, car wash, shopping, theatre, banks. On occasion Peter the owner stops by the restaurant and is always willing to share a story and time. When it comes to services this is # 1 Hotel and I have stayed at several all over the world.

Upon our arrival we were pleasantly greeted by "Carlos" and "Jamie" . Our Platinum suite was very clean , comfortable and well presented .Fitness room and pool / spa very nice . "Baci Restaurant is a great dining choice. "Chelsea our server was Great at meal time . Make sure to reserve a table for dinner even on week nights busy place the food is good. Parking lot is lit up well at night. The view and city lights are magical while enjoying a jacuzzi tub . "Carmen's Best Western is our destination home away from home in the Hammer :) . This is a wonderful hotel in a nice town. We are Best Western Diamond members and stay at them all the time. This is a great one. We stayed in a suite that had a king bed (very comfortable) a kitchen and dining area, whirlpool tub next to the fireplace and a large screen tv on the wall above the fireplace. My husband enjoyed sitting on the sofa to watch tv (that was in the "livingroom" area ) instead of on a bed like most hotels. The bathroom was very nice and the shower was a marble walk-in and nice shower head. There was a fridge and microwave. There is no breakfast but we went to the hotel restaurant for dinner (Baci Ristorante) It was excellent. We went on a Thursday evening and they normally have a pasta special, so it is busy. We had stopped to asked the host about it earlier in the afternoon and he asked if we had reservations, we did not know we need to make them, but he was very nice and told us he could maybe fit us in or we could sit at the bar. When we arrived, the gentlemen were still at the table that he was going to give us, so we just sat at the bar(which was not a problem at all- in fact the girl that waited on us was very very friendly . I would recommend going here for dinner, but check if you need to make reservations (it might just be for Thursdays ? I don't know) Enjoy your stay

I thought the Best Western C Hotel in Hamilton, Ontario was a very nice hotel! The rooms were clean and the staff was very accommodating! We had breakfast at the restaurant and that also was very nice. I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will definitely stay there again when I visit Hamilton!

"Stunning Hotel"

Stayed one night in the King Jacuzzi Suite - GUCCI room. It was a beautiful room with a fireplace as a nice touch. The customer service from all the front desk staff was impeccable. The layout of the hotel is great and it has everything you possibly need and more. We will definitely be back and I highly recommend this hotel for corporate guests or couples.

Nothing bad to say- beyond the fact that the price is a little high for Hamilton... The hotel itself is great to look at from the inside and out. The rooms are a great size as well and very well decorated. I would recommend this hotel for a luxurious stay. The staff were also very happy to help at any point. The restaurant is wonderful- definitely recommend!

"Not your typical Best Western..."

Amazing rooms. Very unexpected. My wife and I typically stay in higher end or boutique hotels (i.e. Intercontinental, Kimpton Hotels, etc.) but needed a room for a last minute stay. This was a huge surprise and totally changed our views on Best Western as a brand. We were not impressed with the on-site restaurant but the room more than made up for the underwhelming quality of the food.

"Excellent comfort"

This hotel was great and the price was awesome. The staff were friendly. It was nice to have a kitchenette in the room. The bed was comfortable. I would like to have had the ability to purchase movies off the satellite however there is a DVD player so you can always bring movies with you. Overall the stay was great and I would recommend this hotel to others staying in the Hamilton area.

This is a very modern BW hotel located on the east mountain in Hamilton. Room was average size with lovely large bathroom. Breakfast is not included with the room as there is a restaurant attached. There is also a wedding venue right beside the hotel. Since we were staying mid-week thought there would be no wedding parties; however that was not true. There was some noise in the middle of the night as guests returned to their rooms. Hotel suited us as we are knowledgeable about the city but it is not downtown and does require a car. On the other hand being in the suburbs it is quieter.

We stay at this hotel about 5 or 6 times a year when visiting family in the Hamilton area. It is clean, the staff are friendly and it is close to shopping, restaurants and theatres. The parking lot gets tight if there is a conference at the hotel, but there is additional parking across the street.

I have never been here before, I was very impressed with the staff, we were there for a wedding. The food was paced out perfectly, and just enough. They did a great Job. Our room was clean and all the rooms have a theme.

"Nice clean hotel"

This was a modern nice clean hotel. I went here for a wedding and it was beautiful. However when trying to sleep, even late at night, it is really noisy. The beds were extremely comfortable. I would go back to this hotel but not on a busy weekend- just work week.

this room had a strange noise coming fro the roof top as we were on the top floor ( 5th ) the room was very clean, the staff was helpful, plenty of free parking, all appliances were in excellent condition. the assistant manager was very helpful. unfortunately my wife had a fall in the front lobby, the floor had been recently washed. too bad because it cost us a day of our vacation trip. we stayed 3 nights and departed October 1st. we will have our family doctor look at my wife's ankle and left left leg.

Large, spacious room....comfortable bed....Keurig coffeemaker....microwave....fridge...table and 2 chairs...sofa...desk...wet bar....large closet..flatscreen tv with lots of channels. A minor negative is it was a bit difficult to find the lobby from the outside. I'd give it an excellent rating if it was not for the $250 deposit requested at check in for "incidentals." That's $250 for debit card or $150 for credit card. I am an older woman traveling alone. I have never run into this before and frankly, if it were not conveniently located, I would have gone elsewhere. Free cookies just don't make up for the feeling of being ambushed like that at check in time.

Amazing place. Had a great, great time. Best hotel at which I've ever stayed. Bed was firm and so were the pillows. Room was fantastic. Great layout. Easy to access local highways. Close by shopping and restaurants other than the one attached to the restaurant. This would be a great place to have a romantic weekend. Just saying. :)

"looking for a nice place for a family stay"

I been to this place many time and never had an issued until today, Carlos was the only clerk behind the reception counter and he took almost 15 minutes before he acknowledge my presence there (don't get me wrong he was busy on the phones and checking people out) he should have more help to avoid people with disabilities (my wife is blind) wait that long

"Excellent Hamilton, Ontario hotel"

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights on our anniversary trip. The reservation for the suite with a fireplace was messed up, but Tanya got us into the room we wanted with no hassle at all. The room was big with a couch, large screen tv, large whirlpool tub and fireplace. It was everything that showed up on the pictures. The fresh cookies all day long at the front desk along with a free newspaper were just additional treats. The restaurant looked wonderful, with Italian cuisine, but even after being advised to make reservations we tried to walk in on a Wednesday night, but alas it was booked full. A waiter at another restaurant recommended eating there, so it must be good. Try the hotel out, you won't be disappointed.
