Overall the service was great. Room was not that clean, I found a roach, and the breakfast was dismal (coffee was good!) Room was okay. Bed was bowed but comfortable. Would not stay again. Mexican food place across the parking lot was great!

We have stayed here a couple of times for quick trips for kids sports and have not had any issues. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Room is clean. Location is good, safe and convenient to interstate.

I had a pleasurable stay at this Best Western Plus. Only stayed one night but found it to be very relaxing. Beds were very comfortable, and the room was very spaces. Only negative on this stay was breakfast juice machine was not working. You would think they would have alternate juice boxes or milk to drink. However, there was only water or coffee.

Stayed at this hotel for Street Outlaws No Prep Kings. Arrived at about 11pm and front desk girl was so friendly and helpful. Did everything she could to make us feel welcome! Hotel was clean, updated and breakfast was great!!

Reviews of this hotel are overstated compared to what we found. This is an older property with some renovations but not fully renovated. For example, no electric plugs on nightstands next to the bed. Fridge was wobbly and obviously broken. The furniture had seen better days. For example, chair in sitting area arm was obviously worn and the chest of drawers had a drawer that was broken and out of alignment most of the furniture had nicks. At breakfast on Sunday morning with the hotel fully booked we found NO juice but a sign on the machine saying it was broken (who knows for how long?). When we asked the attendant if they had juice she just replied that the machine was broken, sorry. If we were in some remote place it would have been one thing but with a huge Walmart Supercenter across the road it would have been really easy for a hotel that cared to send someone to get cartons of juice to put out for breakfast. Very poor management not taking simple easy steps to run a decent property. Only saving grace and the reason for the average rating is the front desk person at check in was very friendly and efficient. In addition, at least the room had plenty of lights.

We stopped here over night with my parents, kids, and grandparents. The check in process was very simple. The host was informative. Our room was clean. The beds were comfortable. Breakfast was decent and I really liked the outdoor area behind the breakfast area. It had rained through the night so we didn't sit out there but it would have been a great option. We didn't check out the pool since it rained but it looked nice as well. It's outdoors. Check out was also simple.

Good experience for a one night stay. Back from the main road but close to many fast food chains and restaurants. Very positive and polite front desk…Angel maybe was her name. Comfortable beds. Ceiling fan kept air moving around. Overall, I would recommend.

Stayed here for one night on our way to Gulf Shores. If I could, I would give it a 3.75 rating. Good - location close to interstate, gas, Cracker Barrel, and Walmart. The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms and bathroom spacious. Front desk and staff were pleasant. Pool was outdoor and small, but clean. Price was good when compared to regional hotel competition. Bad - the carpet in our room was filthy. Turned white socks black kind of filthy. Hallways were the same. Furniture was not well dusted and dated. Some marks on the walls. Bathroom fan did not really work, and the walls/ceiling showed signs of moisture damage. Breakfast was plain and basic.

Guest services was top notch, however that breakfast, room air and cleanliness were not. I would recommend finding another place to eat for breakfast. Take a fan, not a guarantee that your air will be working properly.

The rooms were great....clean, large, quiet.... and we loved the ceiling fans. Breakfast is fine, there is some degree of variety....and it's ready to go on time. Internet had some spottiness but I'd rate it "8" overall. THE only problem, we arrived about 520 pm and was told our room wasn't ready. My confirmation said it would be ready at 3 pm. I had to get the desk clerk motivated to give me an answer as to when it would be ready (ie. call the housekeepers and ask them when they will have another King Suite clean and ready to go). She did so and by about 6 pm, we were good to go.

Seems ike this hotel is popular with other Louisiana families traveling to Gatlinburg. As a military retiree family, we got a military discount, had a really clean room, with nice quiet surroundings and a pretty good breakfast the next morning with a wonderfully sweet lady who laid out a nice spread for everyone. This will be our go to place from now on for all of our trips to TN.

Our room was clean. The hotel was clean. It's in a good area right off the highway. We were traveling to Gatlinburg from Louisiana and chose this as our overnight stop. Would give 5 stars if the hotel did some upgrades.

We do not stay in hotels regularly but hotel prices to just get a nights rest is expensive. So we try to find a value hotel which we feel BWP fits that category. The things in the room are good (bed, shower, tv etc.) but the room itself needs help (wallpaper coming off, drywall needing repair, tiles cracked, areas around shower with moisture damage). I would also think to help their customers they could (on slow off nights) put a empty room between customers to help in the noise department

Friendly hotel staff, clean rooms that include a ceiling fan! That makes any hotel 1000% better! Got the suite this time which included a huge tub in the room with a king bed. Very relaxing & definitely worth the extra few bucks. Thanks guys! We will be back!

Great place to stay! People working there make sure that you have everything you need. Very clean and the hot breakfast was wonderful. The next time we are passing through Gadsden, we will definitely stay here.

people were smoking weed in the room next to me. we had rented a room and so had my parents. the smell was so bad we couldnt sleep. called the front desk to address the situation and nothing was done and no one called us back. it also wasnt even mentioned when they checked us out the next morning. i have stayed here several times and had planned on keep using this hotel (since we come several times a year to visit family and this used to be my go to hotel). Since drugs were being used and I have kids i will not be bring them back around this type of situation. rooms were nice but wont be coming back with how the situation was handled

Locate close to the interstate, this hotel provided us a quiet stay. The room was spacious with a king bed and the shower provided us with plenty of hot water. Add in the friendly service and the close to hotel parking and you have the receipe for an very enjoyable overnight stay.

This hotel was in a very nice area and was hands down the very best, Best Western I have ever stayed at. The staff was friendly, hotel was spotless and very quiet. There was also a wide variety of places to eat nearby. I wish all Best Western's were this nice.

I've never dealt with friendlier people than the staff at this hotel. Rooms are clean and spacious. There are many restaurant choices nearby, some within walking distance. Convenient to the interstate and other major roads.

Very rude manager. Her staff made a mistake and she jumped on us about. Got on to us like we were 3 year Olds. Only stay here if you want to be disrespected. The room is clean and breakfast was good but it couldn't make up for the way management treated us.

The hotel is clean, freshly painted, warm and friendly. The breakfast is the usual continental type. Coffee is always available as well as drinking water and cups. The rooms are large enough to feel comfy over a week and if you are going to go by competency of staffing, this is your place. I was disappointed that the website included a fitness center as part of the amenities, when in fact the fitness center is closed until further notice. This was the only real strike on the experience that left me feeling a bit sour. Only because I was totally looking forward to running on the treadmill and lifting weights during my 5 day stay. Other than that, this is a wonderful hotel in my opinion. We travel a lot and it's very rare to have so many kind and caring staff members as this hotel does. Thank you Lynette, Sam, Kimberly and housekeeping. You're amazing and you all deserve more!

We got a great deal on our stay. The breakfast had options for a variety of dietary needs. The rooms were clean and the service from all employees was above and beyond. Would definitely suggest if you have an opportunity to stay here, do it.

We spent 2 nights at this hotel but did check out the morning after the first night. We didn't think we would make it back that way by the next night, but we did. So we decided to stay there again where as our first night was a very good stay. The second stay was not a good stay. We got in late and washed our faces, brushed our teeth and went to bed. The next morning we went to shower and there was no hot water! I checked the sink and the sink had hot water. Went to the desk and told the clerk, she said it's probably that all the hot water was used up that morning. I told her that was impossible, that the sink has hot water, that something must be wrong with the shower fauset and can she send maintenance to fix it. She said she couldn't, no one from maintenance was there. So I asked what am I to do, we need to shower! She said there was nothing she could do. Finally after we packed and was ready to leave we were offered another room to shower. This was unacceptable.

We enjoyed our stay at the Best Western in Gadsden, AL, as well as all the other Best Westerns that we have stayed at throughout the United States. They have been clean, friendly and reasonably priced.

We have tried other hotels in the area and keep coming back to this one. It is Clean, get staff and amenities. My grandkids love the horseshoes and volleyball games to play in the back yard of the hotel. It's convenient, right across the street from Walmart, but in the back it's wooded. The color change of the leaves is beautiful. We will definitely stay here again.

Our room windows faced into trees which was nice. We appreciated the ceiling fan! The breakfast area is small. There isn't any bottled water or even a water option on the juice machines, I even asked and wasn't provided a solution. The walls and doors in our room needed to be wiped down. I mentioned this when we checked out and the clerk seemed quite surprised. However, my first clue might have been when the elevator opened to the third floor and I could see that the room doors had been touched up with paint only where needed. Unfortunately, this might have been the cheapest option to make the doors look more presentable when it actually now looks terrible and even comical. I was caught off guard and that probably caused me to look closely in our room. A few improvements and my ranking of our stay would be higher.

Slow service at he front desk, but I think they were short staffed like so many businesses these days. Room was clean and somewhat comfy. It was equal to what we paid and we would recommend for a short stay in the area.

The appearance and atmosphere was very inviting, everything smelled clean and fresh. First impressions are everything and the first impression we got was a great one from this hotel. We would definitely stay here again.

This was simply a very nice stay:) From the quiet room:) Comfortable bed:) Cleanliness:) Plenty of hot shower water:) Check-In & Out was easy:) Staff very nice:) Wish all BW's was like this one! Morning coffee was average and breakfast had little variety:(

We took a chance and picked Gadsten Best Western for a stopping point on our way North from Panama City Beach. We made the right decision. We were greeted with wonderful Southern Hospitality and after a long day of driving it was great to see smiling faces. Very clean location with plenty of restaurants near by. Breakfast was good but we are not big eaters.

Room was clean, dark, and quiet. Good location and lady at front desk was professional. Air-conditioner worked well and was quiet. Bed linens were exceptionally clean. TV worked well with good picture clarity.

Stayed here one night while visiting Gadsden and enjoyed my stay. The staff was very friendly and check in was a breeze. Our room was spacious and clean. The bed was comfortable and the shower was fantastic. The breakfast wasn't anything special, but most are that way now due to COVID. This hotel isn't anything fancy, but it's clean and well priced.

We were allowed to check in early which was great. Room and bathroom were both clean. Bed was kind of hard. A/C cooled but did not keep the whole room cold. No other complaints. Check out was quick and easy as well.

Wonderfully decorated; great breakfast options during this crazy pandemic; Comfortable beds; great internet access; nice and big room and bath; perfect location right off the interstate; nice area out back.

I was threatened by the hotel manager that she was going to charge me $250 fine for my service animal. The bfast was very terrible and the mattress looked like it was urinated on under the sheets.....

I wish I had gotten the desk clerks name but she was soooo nice and professional. Glad we stayed here. The room was a king suite next to the conference room so it was really quiet. It's a really large room so would be perfect for a family with kids. My husband enjoyed the fitness room.

Hotel is located a bit off the highway, but I made it with GPS. There is a Walmart very close as well as a Mexican restaurant. Room was ok, nothing spectacular. The tv remote sucked as did changing the channel. Room had higher ceiling than a lot of hotels. Price was about $60 for a room. They did not offer a military rate.

Great place to stay! Cheerful & helpful staff! Very clean rooms! Great location for us as we stay there while visiting family.we really miss their wonderful continental breakfast due to covid but they do provide a nice grab & go alternative.

We were driving down highway 59 toward Mississippi and a bunch of cars and two RVs told us that our tire was smoking on our RV we pulled over and had some pretty major issues the chief of steel Alabama pulled behind us called outback trailers in Gadsden and they came and fixed it on the side of the road and we took it back to their shop in Gadsden we were going to be there obviously for a day so we went to the Best Western plus and the lady there Shawna helped us so much she was so kind and so professional just a very nice person and the rooms were immaculate very clean probably one of the best ones I've been in in a Best Western plus we thought our RV was fixed the next day and it wasn't so I called Best Western again and again Shawna was working and she got us into our same room just wonderful I recommend this hotel when we pass back through we will stay again!!

In my opinion the Best Western Plus in Gadsden AL was substandard for a Best Western PLUS. There were a lot superficial items that needed to be fixed. This motel was not up to par with the other Best Western PLUS motels I have stayed at. It definitely didnot deserve a PLUS rating!

We're on a 12 hour road trip back to texas and stopped to get some sleep. Chose this hotel bc it was the highest rated in the area... but to be honest we didn't get more then 15 min of sleep bc the bed was a brick.. a flat brick. For us to be as exhausted as we were,...we should've passed OUT. But no.... we spent $150 to sleep on the worst bed of my entire life & drive 11 hours the next day with lower back pain and delirium from lack of sleep. How this place has almost 5 stars is beyond me. The bed is one of the most important parts..... do better best western.

Was quoted one price on internet charged another at hotel. Should charge what you were quoted. Room was ckean, personal were good. Breakfast was not much, I know we are in trying times. I think a little more attention should be given to breakfast.

We came down for the yard sale, check in was great. The team here is probably about the friendliest you will meet. They were beyond helpful with us. Room was clean, the hotel had been updated (although some amenities are not available). Had an overall great time and you can't beat the value.

I've stayed in many hotels all over the world. I've stayed on many BWs. This is the best! We had a small issue and the manger on duty was eager to resolve. Staff were very helpful with local information.

Recently updated rooms with mini refrigerator and coffee maker. Great breakfast included and friendly service from the staff. Easy on off highway location! Pool looked nice though too cool while we visited.

Great place. Restaurents nearby. Great and helpful staff. Food was good for breakfast. Room was clean and well maintained. We were very hapoy with our stay at this premises. The whole of this place was good and when making reservaruns online they provided a room right where we requested. Great work al around. We would most definitely stay here again the next time through this area.

We stayed for 2 months due to house fire, everyone was amazing and went out if their way to help us. We were treated more like family then customer. I will never use another Hotel if I can help it. truly amazing people.

The room, hallways and lobby were clean and refreshing. No odd odors ever. The staff did a great job of making us feel welcome. They stayed in the background well but were there for our every need (more towles or tissues). This was a great experience.

On our way to Pigeon Forge Tn. we stayed overnight and the stay was great. The staff was very friendly and all way smiling. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable and the lighting in the room was great. We stayed in a more expensive Hotel in Pigeon Forge and payed a lot more and got a whole lot less. We will stay here anytime we travel in the area.

Nice property, very clean, spacious updated rooms with comfy beds. Breakfast buffet was very tasty. Lots of parking and convenient to many restaurants. Nice place to stop over for a night on the way to Pigeon Forge, Gatlinburg or Chatanooga.Be sure to checkbout Noccalula Falls close by.

Hotel staff are very pleasant, professional and accommodating. Hotel is clean and the rates are reasonable. Convenient location. This is our second visit in 6-8 months and faces were familiar. That tells me not a lot of turnover so staff are happy working there. Always smiling faces.

The front desk ladies and breakfast staff are wonderful... they could not be more friendly or helpful. The lobby area and breakfast area were very clean and nice.. Had some problems with my room though. the quilt that covers the top sheet had numerous spots and just appeared dirty.. the desk took less than 5 minutes to bring me a new one...The pan in the shower was so dirty I could not bring myself to take a shower.. I have a personal opinion as to why this occurs in this hotel but will just hope that the powers that be will charge the maid staff with working harder when they clean the rooms..

I stayed here once mroe about 10 years ago and the hotel has remained the same with well kept rooms, lobby, and breakfast dining area. From my previous experience it is a biker-friendly hotel. The location of the hotel is quiet and off the main road too which is also a plus for me.

Rooms, services, and cleanliness were all perfect. Asked for extra pillow, Gal (Brooklyn ) at the desk went out of her way to find restaurants for us. A hot tub would have been nice after golfing so many courses.

Pros: check-in staff friendly and cheerful. My room (206) was large and well laid out. Everything was as it should be. The room had a ceiling fan, something I've never seen before in a chain motel. Wifi was good. Location is good. Cons: toilet didn't flush well. My first morning, at 8AM, housekeeping knocked on the door to collect laundry. In some rooms, the heat/AC is controlled by a thermostat on the wall instead of on the unit itself, but there is no sign on the unit telling you that. The unit has controls, so it's confusing, as the controls don't work. I unplugged it, which really messed it up. The desk clerk had to come up and work her magic to get it reset and usable. If the unit's display says On in red letters, then it has a wall thermostat. In the stairways, the bottom step in each set doesn't have the same yellow paint at the edge as the other steps do. It's potentially hazardous if you're not paying attention. Overall 5/5 Value 5/5 Wifi 5/5

I stayed at this location the same weekend as fellow reviewer NeiaLK. I witnessed the aforementioned incident and would like to stand up for the wonderful staff that she is degrading. I was trying to shop in their sundry shop when a guest ( NeiaLK) approached the front desk. What ensued next was appalling and uncalled for. The guest started screaming, cursing, and threatening the poor front desk girl over a late checkout. The front desk girl repeatedly apologized and gave her 2 options of either leaving the premises in 20 minutes time or paying $25 for a later checkout. The guest was having none of it. The screaming by the guest continued to the point of where other staff came to the front desk to make sure that their fellow employee was safe. The staff never raised their voices and continuously reiterated their apologies. Had this been a guest at my job I would have called the authorities immediately and had them permanently removed from my place of business. There is never any reason for someone to act and speak the way this customer did! Personally my room was so clean and nice I will definitely recommend it to others. The ENTIRE STAFF WAS AMAZING AND NICE!

My husband, myself, and our two children stayed here to attend a wedding. We checked in late, so our first concern was getting late check out. We were told at check in that we would be able to check out at 12, but we could inquire in the morning about a later time. The next morning at 11:15, the desk clerk knocked on our door at told us we needed to be out by 11:30. I went downstairs to inform her that the clerk from the previous night said we could check out at 12. She said she'd been calling our room (news to me, phone probably wasn't plugged in) and we needed to be out by 11:30. She claimed to have no information about us being allowed to check out late. At this point, I'm highly upset because my two kids are still in pajamas, and she is forcing us to leave in 15 minutes. She wasn't willing to follow up with the clerk from the previous night because she didn't like the way I was talking to her. I guess she expected me to be pleasant under those circumstances. There was no manager available. Fortunately, we were able to dress our kids in the room of another member of the wedding party. I contacted the corporate office and was informed that they only mediate and document concerns. The hotel manager never contacted me at all. The hotel personnel alleged to corporate that we were offered the option of paying $25 to check out at 2pm; however, that never occurred. They also alleged that they had to contact the authorities. That was also news to me, since we were in the parking lot for some time and in another room of the hotel for at least an hour after all of this mess occurred. We never saw any authorities. I never would have imagined something so trivial could turn into something so ugly. This was definitely the worst customer service experience I have ever had at a hotel. Neither management nor corporate cared to make this right. This will be our last Best Western experience.

This hotel has a great location! It's close to lots of restaurants, gas stations and a Walmart! The staff is very welcoming and the hotel is very clean! We will stay with them again when we are in Gadsden.

Our room was very nice & clean. All the staff members were very friendly & helpful. We asked for a quiet room due to being senior citizens & desiring a restful night & that's just what we got! The motel is located near several Exits to major interstates. There were several shopping choices & restaurants within walking distance. This location has many nice attractions located nearby, such as Noccalula Falls.

This hotel is conveniently located near the start of the route 127 yardsale. It also offers an excellent free breakfast and friendly, helpful staff. Our room was clean, and my only personal complaint was there was no tv in the sitting area. I prefer to watch tv and read in the sitting area. The bedroom had the tv, just my personal preference. Lots of places to eat nearby and close to Noccalula Falls Park.

Been staying at this Best Western for roughly eight (8) years. Always a great stay during my annual motoring trip. Hotel is clean, comfortable, has a great outdoor pool, and of course friendly staff, always willing to help. The hotel is located very close to the highway, so easy off/on. Good restaurants within walking distance. All and all, a great place to stay....recommend it to everyone!

This is a freaky updated hotel in a great location. It was very neat, and clean. Stay on the back for a very quiet setting. The breakfast is good and the server there very hospitable Check in was fast and efficient.

The public areas of this hotel need a little TLC and attention but overall the room was spacious and clean. The staff were pleasant and polite. The breakfast was a cut above the average hotel breakfast food with several choices and an attendant checking it often. We would stay here on future trips for sure.

Rooms very clean and comfortable. Beds were comfy. Breakfast was well stocked and easily fixed. Nice back patio outside lobby to sit and eat. Pool was well maintained and pool towels are provided. Small area that sold snacks and item like meds etc.

Anniversary weekend booked jacuzzi room. Spacious comfortable bed. Rained all weekend but the pool was inviting. Breakfast was about average good options. Front desk super friendly and helpful. Great stay.

Our stay at BW was a pleasant surprise. We especially liked the breakfast. Dottie was responsible for all of it. The eggs were scrambled just right and there were many items my gluten-free husband could select. A perk most motels don't offer is a microwave in the dining area. BW has it. There was fresh fruit on a table in the check-in area. The only disappointment was analog TV. On the TV remote was unable to find the “guide” channel. We liked the accommodations so much we stayed going and coming on our trip. Easy access to freeway. We'll stay again.

Best Western and booking. Com worked real well booking my trip. Had a family emergency where I had to check in 1 day later and had to have an extremely late check in. They were very helpful making this work. Room was nice, internet was very good for the kids.

Stayed here for a wedding. Very good location for what we needed, and there quite a few restaurants and shopping in the general vicinity or within easy driving distance. The room was huge, and everything seemed very clean. We were very happy with the accommodations. There is a pool, but it is outdoors. The weather was hot and sunny while we were there, so the pool was pretty warm, but there isn't any shade to speak up (maybe a couple of umbrellas), so if you were going to use the pool during the day, you may need sunscreen. I think our only complaint was probably the coffee served at breakfast. Breakfast itself was fine and typical for this level of hotel, but the coffee was not good. We ended up using the “in room coffee service”, which honestly was better. Definitely would stay here again if in the area.

Easy check-in/out. Facility is off the main highway with one way in and one way out parking lot. No drive bys-Plenty of parking, good food, and internet. I brought my pillow from home because it makes me feel at home, 'What more does one need!'

I typically lean toward a different hotel chain when traveling but my traveling companion for this trip booked the room. I was pleasantly surprised by this BW Plus. Very recently built or renovated as the furnishings were very trendy. However, the greats smelling air fresheners were masking cigarette smoke...in the room. Ugh. It was ok for the two nights we were there but you could definitely smell the lingering smell of smoke that was imbedded in something. The staff was extremely friendly and helpful. The complimentary breakfast was very sufficient. I'd recommend this to someone...along with the warning of the smell of smoke.

Very quiet stay. The surrounding area offers several good restaurants and the location is very close to I-59 and I-759. We stayed for the Talladega NASCAR race and the location is within an hour of the track.

The location was excellent, near several choices of restaurants & shops. Exterior & interior is exceptional. The several staff members we encountered the 1st evening & the next morning were all very friendly. Our room was very clean & comfortable. Breakfast was good.

We loved this hotel!!! The bed slept wonderfully! Pillows were so comfortable! Everything was beautiful! The workers were all so nice! Delicious breakfast! Will definitely be back... soon!!! I cant imagine staying anywhere else!

This hotel and staff did a great job of accommodating for our anglers and captains who stayed the night before a tournament. Everything from reservations to help with an early breakfast was excellent! Clean room, helpful staff, and great location.

Very nice hotel with excellent desk staff. Had a large queen room. Typical hotel breakfast, nothing fancy. Stayed only one night so didn't get a chance to see a lot of the surroundings but was very close by shopping and restaurants..

Stayed overnight as a birthday getaway and enjoyed every single second of my stay. Amazing and courteous staff, clean and comfortable rooms, and quiet environment. I will DEFINITELY be staying here again.

This property is excellent. I recommend that you stay here if your in the area. The property is beautiful, the staff is always helpful, the rooms are spacious and always clean. Overall 10 out of 10 in my opinion

We decided on a last minute quick weekend getaway. We were able to make reservation via the Best Western website. The location was good; the rooms were clean and offered comfortable bedding; breakfast was included and overall it was just a geat place to stay. I would definitely recommend this BW to groups, families, couples and singles visiting the Gadsden area. Another plus is the Old Mexico Cantina within walking distance of the hotel.

Booked online and received a discount. Easy to locate and check-in and check-out was a breeze. Very friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was very good, especiall for a hotel. Rooms, dining area and lobby was very neat and clean. Beds were comfortable. We would stay here again for sure.

We were very pleased with the cleanliness of the hotel and friendliness of staff. Attention to details was a pleasant surprise. We would definitely do it again (e.g. small yellow plastic duck atop wash cloths on tub rim).

Traveled from Michigan to Florida and stopped in Gadsden to visit friends. I was so pleased with the hotel stay it was very clean and staff were very nice. We stayed 3 nights. The breakfast is your average free breakfast but good enough to enjoy. There are a lot of places to eat around, in car or walking. If you're in the area this is a great hotel stay. Don't mind my messy room pictures. I forgot to take some when we arrived.

Our entire crew thoroughly enjoyed the location, the breakfast, the fitness center, the comfortable guest rooms, and the friendly staff. The hotel was right across the street from WalMart, and surrounded by numerous restaurants, both fast-food and dine in. We would definitely stay here again while on business.

The staff of this hotel went over and above to make our stay completely comfortable. This hotel offers a great backyard for the kiddos to play and even has a volleyball and a horseshoe game. Just the thing to entertain the kids/grandkids. They had a blast!

Nice place for an overnight stay. Very large, nicely appointed, comfortable rooms. All indoor corridor rooms with elevator access. Very good hot breakfast as well. Folks at the front desk made us feel very welcome. Rate was reasonable. We'd definitely stay here again, given the opportunity.

The first room had feces on the toilet seat. We were moved to the room next door. This room was just as bad. Loose toilet seat, leaking shower with black mold and mushy drywall. There was wallpaper peeling off all over the hotel from obvious leaking. It should be closed and completely remodeled or Best Western should remove their name from the sign.

From Colorado to South Carolina, this stop was the best of them all. Clean. Comfortable. Quiet and everything worked just as it should The full hot breakfast buffet was top notch as well. Excellent value. I'll stay again.

Our room was a large room with a couch, chair, desk & chair, bench, nice bathroom. It was one of the best rooms we had at any of the Best Westerns. We had a refrigerator, microwave, large screen tv and a king size bed. Everything was clean and it was also quiet.

Bus trip stop going and returning, very nice hotel easy access and close to food. Staff was nice and easy check in. Room was nice and A/C was on and room cool upon arrival. Great stop on the just off the interstate.

The Good:Cheap, clean, basic, friendly people, easy access to freeway.The Bad:Right across from a deserted, thrashed building; no restaurants near-by; hotel needs repairs (carpet ragged, wall paper torn, etc.) We took everything in from our car because we were afraid the car would be vandalized but the area was well lit. We were just nervous. No problems.None-the-Less:People running the place were really nice and wanted to help; really cheap but very clean.

The rooms have a microwave and refrigerator that come in handy with young children along. Staff was courteous and helpful and breakfast was great. We were located close to Gadsden, Spring Valley Beach and Noccalula Falls. The washer and dryer really came in handy with the wet clothes. Would recommend to anyone visiting this beautiful area!

Room was big and AC worked well. Mattress was very comfortable. There were no issues with sound and staff was friendly. Breakfast was pretty typical but good and included, eggs, make your own waffle, make your own breakfast sandwich, assorted breads and cereals, juice, grits, fruit, etc. I would definitely stay here again. If you are here on the first Friday of the month be sure to visit downtown for festivities and food.

The hotel is spotless. The rooms are big. The location is convenient. The breakfast is very nice - and run by a pleasant woman who clearly cares about her guests. The internet is HORRIBLE. The furnishings are a little worse for wear but hardly tacky. They're functional. The workout room is a little basic, but it's nice that they offer the amenity. Most concerning for me, and you might not care, is that the television in the lobby was broadcasting politically biased news. I don't care for political messaging in public areas. I wish hotels had a policy against things like that in these divided times. I have my opinions and support free speech, but I'd like to avoid politics during breakfast as my day is starting if at all possible.

The room was very wonderful and comfortable.. the front desk staff are always very kind to us and accommodate any way they can. The breakfast has declined from the last time we stayed.. it was not very great. But that is not enough to detour us from coming back. The swimming pool is very spacious and lots of fun for the kids

clean room, could hear all noise though the thin walls. really bad breakfast, tried to eat it, but both my wife and i had to go elsewhere to eat. woke up before we needed to, because of all the noise in the hall by the cleaning people. don't know why they had to clean so early.

Great Breakfast, Great Room, Great lobby, Great pool. We really liked it. I would stay here again and again. We stayed here to go to the race at Talladega and after the race we were back to the room in less than an hour. LOVE IT

My daughter and I stayed at this hotel for 3 nights. The room and bathroom were spacious. We both agreed that the beds were a bit hard, but it was very clean. The breakfast selection was excellent. I will definitely look into staying here again when I return to the area.

This is an okay hotel. We actually stay at this one each time we come through Gadsden. I would recommend the hotel to family and friends. The staff is pleasant and welcoming. I have had only one instance of displeasure and it was immediately addressed by management and resolved.

Called while on the road, made reservation and 30 minutes later checked in. Very friendly and courteous desk clerk. He was very helpful; told us of several local restaurants. Just stayed one night, but will definitely make that our regular stop when traveling to DC. Have told friends about this hotel.

Lovely hotel -- very clean, well staffed, friendly and helpful staffing. Beds weren't the most comfortable I've ever slept in, but they weren't too bad. Breakfast is full, warm and satisfying. I'd love it if there was an Olive Garden or something at the exit, but that has nothing to do with the hotel.

Nice, big, spacious room. The room had a king size bed, sofa and mini fridge. The room was clean. They did have cookies in the lobby as you checked in. There was breakfast in the morning, but I did not try it. There were restaurants close by. Would stay again. *For those that like ceiling fans, my room #127 had one, which was perfect for trying to sleep.

Nothing great, nothing bad, middle of the road. The rooms were clean for the most part, a little pricey for what I would like to pay. Was not in a rush to leave or stay. Shower pressure was low, beds are sort of stiff. Otherwise, "Okay". In a safe area.

Our room was just average. It was clean and the bed was comfortable. Josiah at the front desk was pleasant when we checked in. Breakfast was not much to comment about. It too was okay but needed someone more attentive. Tables weren't wiped in a timely manner and there was no creamer for coffee..they had none in stock either. The hotel is located in a convenient stop right off the interstate.

Hotel room was clean and nicely decorated. Some of the towels were folded into shapes or designs. Bed was extremely comfortable - had a party of three sharing two queen beds and there was plenty of room. The complimentary breakfast was very nice with good choices of hot and cold items, coffee was great! It was a nice surprise to see free cookies in the lobby upon arrival! The staff was friendly and helpful.

After looking at some of the other reviews on Trip Advisor for places to stay in Gadsden, we chose Best Western both times (September 2016 and October 2017). The staff is super friendly and helpful. We had one room with 2 queens beds and still had plenty of room for my grandsons toys. We stayed from Friday to Sunday. The price was reasonable. It's right off the main highway. Walmart is across the road and plenty of restaurants to choose from. Big parking lot, luggage carrier, elevator, pool, snack and drink machine. The breakfast bar had a variety of foods choices from cereal, pancakes and waffles, muffins and croissants, to bacon and eggs, and beverage (it was hot and plenty of it). The room was clean, had plenty of towels and other supplies. The beds were comfortable. This was the perfect place to stay for us to visit with my sister and her family. Love this hotel and will stay here again and again.

We stayed here one night. The hotel looks nice but the room we had was on the first floor and it smelled like stinky feet. We just needed a place to sleep for the night so it worked out fine. We probably wouldn't stay here again.

Stayed in this hotel for one night a couple of days after Christmas on our way to Tennessee. The hotel was pretty clean, the staff very nice, and the location was great. It's right off of the interstate with multiple food options right around it and a Walmart across the street. Took advantage of the free breakfast, which was exactly what you'd expect for a hotel breakfast, but served the purpose and kept us from spending additional time and money picking up food elsewhere. for the price, I'd certainly stay here again.

The location of the Best Western in Gadsden was wonderful! We were within walking distance of 5 or 6 various eateries (fast food as well as sit down restaurants). The hotel is across the street from a large Walmart store. The staff were ALWAYS friendly, greeted us as we came and left the hotel. Room was spacious with extra seating for family to visit we were seeing. The parking lot was nicely paved and parking spaces were spacious! Morning breakfast had a nice variety except that each morning the breakfast sausage was not throughly cooked. Our children (and us) appreciated that apples and oranges were available downstairs across from the front desk! Very thoughtful! Also, it smelled wonderful downstairs in the lobby area. Very nice! Only situation we encountered was we left for the day and came back to find ants in our bathroom. Front desk clerk gave us ant spray to use, which we did. Unfortunately, I received over 20 ant bites on myself (on my face, arms and hands) before we were able to rid our bathroom of them! Good thing I had Benadryl with me because I had to take 3 pills that day and for the next couple days to help with the itching! Other than that, we LOVED our stay and do plan to stay there again when we come back to the area. The staff, from the front desk, to Housekeeping and the breakfast staff were ALL professional and seemed to enjoy their jobs!

I have nothing but nice comments to make about our stay. It's located near a few restaurants and very handy to the highway. I would highly recommend it. From the staff to the bed, it was just fine. And I'm a neat freak.

This motel is easy to get to from interstate. Plenty of food options very close. staff was super nice. The price was 35% less than adjoining hotels and we had friends in one tell us our room was bigger and nicer.

As far as staying in an hotel it has all you would require to be comfortable but I happen to have been returning from picking up my granddaughter which is 1 and they had no cribs so I spent a very restless night.

I went to Gadsden to visit family. Rather than crashing their house, I decided to get a room. The room was pretty good. It was quiet, they had a fitness center (& pool), free breakfast, and fast internet. I didn't have a car while I was there and it was walking distance to Wal-Mart, Circle K, and a few restaurants. It was a good place to stay and the price was very reasonable.

Having stayed at Best Western locations almost exclusively while engaged in leisure travel periodically over the past two years( 72 nights just this year), I have a wealth of experience on which to base my review. It is my estimation that this property rates about average when compared to other Best Western Plus properties, failing to really excel in any area. When compared with Best Western "Standard" properties, it is better than some, but not as good as others. The room was nice enough, and clean, with adequate hot water and working drains, but isn't that expected? The breakfast area was clean with an array of hot-and-cold breakfast items, but not so complete as in other "Plus" properties. Customer service was a bit thin, too, in comparison. To tell the truth, I was expecting more after reading some other reviews, and was disappointed that my stay did not live up to my expectations.

Taking my father in law on a road trip, the only drawback with the room is that the beds were 2 full beds. Would love to see at least queens in a double room. The hotel was great, clean and loved that we could have the ac run all night to drown out noise. But I will tell you that the garbage truck there runs promptly at 5 am. The staff was friendly and the breakfast was good.

While travelling from Virginia to Mississippi I found this location on Google Maps. I had not stayed in a Best Western in a long time and decided to check it out. As I drove up, first impression - Wow, this is a BW? So happy I checked in. Very friendly staff. During my stay the elevator went out. The staff took care of those that needed luggage taken downstairs and they kept guest informed of where the repairman was travelling from and estimated time of repair. (Of course the trip was longer than the repair). Nice breakfast, comfortable clean rooms. Recommend anyone in this area stay here.

my stay at bw was good friendly staff. and comfortable home like feel consessions were pricey but overall i will return. great access to multiple resteraunts and shopping. breakfast could be better but otger than that i grade b+.

My sister and I are traveling the USA, so we have stayed in a lot of hotels the last 3 months, the 3 Best Westerns we have stayed at were very clean and rooms were spacious and the beds were very comfortable. The staff has always been nice and helpful. Had a few glitches the last hotel but they got things taken care of, and we were satisfied. Things happen, no ones perfect so patience on both parties help.

Nice hotel, comfy bed, decent free breakfast...very thin walls. We woke up st 2am to somebody having a coughing fit on one side. At 5am we awoke to the people on the other side having sex. So much for a good nights sleep after driving 8 hours. You'd think with such a nice hotel they would've thought to insulate the walls better. When we turned our room keys in to the front desk girl I was waiting for her to ask "was everything okay?". She never asked. I joined best western rewards before booking this room. I doubt I'll be back if all of the hotels have walls as think as this one.

The BEST in every possible way! You will NOT be disappointed! The rooms are spotless, the manager is awesome, the breakfasts are delicious, the women serving the breakfast items are wonderful, he internet is great, the house keepers are friendly and helpful, the grounds are beautiful, the washer and dryer are convenient, and a 24 hour very clean and modern Walmart is right across the street! We were there for the IRMA evacuation from Florida so were tired and sensitive. The staff were amazing!

My name is Maurice Smith, I booked a stay at the Best Western plus Hotel in Gadsden Alabama 9/7/17-9/10/17 thru Hotels.com. There are many people who go out of their way to offer negative comments so I thought, being a business owner in a service oriented industry that I should go out of my way to extend a compliment. It all started when we checked in... We were immediately greeted with a big smile and a warm country welcome from a lady who turned out to be the manager, her name was Christie. I told her that this was my first time in Gadsden, Alabama and that I look forward to the stay. Well, I believe that if you never ask you'll never receive so I asked if there was an upgrade available and she accommodated me in room 101 – Yeah!! Well, what else was I pleased with: 1. I asked for a DVD player, Christie gave one to me. 2. My Girlfriend is a bit needy (she uses one towel for her hair, one towel for her body and one towel for each toe ); Jaime (I hope I got her name right but she is the petite strawberry blonde with 4 kids) was the room attendants who loaded us up with towels, shampoo, conditioner etc) 3. There was a little issue with the cleaning our room the first night, Jaime made sure that it did not happen again and I think that she called the next day to make sure that we were OK. 4. Christie also either came in, called or spoke with the room attendant that cleaned our room to ensure that she was more thorough the next time. 5. Christie also gave us ideas of what to do in the little town of Gadsden and informed me that there was a washer dryer on property after I told her that I wanted to bribe one of the attendants to wash some clothes for me. (I didn't bring enough undergarments:)) 6. I live if Florida and my flight back was cancelled so I booked a room at Days Inn Gadsden for the 12th and 13th of September but I got this wild idea that Christie may be able to help me out at her property so I called and lo and behold, she AGAIN accommodated me so I cancelled my reservation at the Days inn.. I'm sure I'm missing something but all I have to say is that I was extremely pleased with the service I received from Christie and her employees and I will visit Gadsden again and of course stay at her property! It is obvious that they take pride in their jobs!! I did forget something, upon check in the telephone was not operating properly and there was an attractive Black lady working the front desk that volunteered to come down to the room. I don't know what was wrong with it but she fixed it. By the way I work with over 300 clients and think I know potential, I do see Management in her and Jaimie's future! Kudo's to The Best Western Plus in Gadsden Alabama! We stayed Saturday, September 9, 2017 at the Best Western Plus in Gasden, Alabama. I have to really brag on a few things. # 1 Great customer service person at the front desk... when we arrived we were greeted by an absolutely awesome person at the front desk. Pleasant and very helpful. This person should give classes to others how to take care of folks. # 2 The room was perfect.. We had room #311. It was clean, and just very comfortable. #3 The breakfast on Sunday morning was good and again the hostess does a great job. The food was just right and it was very clean. She was very personable and pleasant to talk with, making sure everyone had what they wanted. #4 The customer service person that checked us out Sunday morning was very kind also. #5 We have decided we will stay here again on our next visit to the area. Knowing we were heading to TX as hurricane approached, the staff made our stay as comfortable as they could. From morning breakfast to afternoon errands, all were helpful. Directions to in town places were easy to follow. Great place to visit.

I would stay here in the future; the breakfast was a bonus with care and attention to the details; keeping the food warm, supplied, and ready. The king bed suite was very spacious and comfortable with a laptop work area, microwave, coffee pot, mini frig, and flat screened TV in high definition. I made use of the workout room, pool, and lounge to enhance my stay. The staff was ready, willing, and able to solve problems and answer questions. I had my coffee pot replaced by the front desk after I alerted them to the issue. Best Western Plus is new to the marketplace----the newer style is spot on!

This was a great stay. Hotel appears to be fairly new. Was extremely clean, smelt great, room was comfortable and everything worked. Would definitely recommend this hotel to friends and would definitely stay there again.

The pool is out front with no privacy. There was no blow dryer in the room, the bath tub had no plug, and the thermostat will not go any lower than 70 degrees. We were on the bottom floor and heard noise all night. We could hear the tv from the room next door all night. Terrible night's sleep.but I have to say the staff was nice and the breakfast was very good. Just not good enough for us to stay there again.

Had a great stay in Gadsden. The rooms were spacious and clean. We slept like babies on the mattress. The breakfast was good especially the biscuits and gravy. The staff was all very helpful and fun to talk with. Just wish it was cool enough to enjoy the outdoor pool--it was way too hot outside

Hotel was easy to get to, check in was fabulous (gave us the best available rate without having to ask for it). Room was very large for a standard room. Clean and comfortable beds. Breakfast was your normal fare, but the wait staff there was above and beyond helpful. We would definitely stay at this hotel again. Best Western has come a long way in the last couple of years!

Our room was quiet, the beds were comfortable, the water pressure was great for taking showers. The breakfast was healthy and fresh. We were passing through so we checked in, slept, took showers, ate and got back on the road quickly. The staff was very pleasant and helpful.

Upon check-in, we were greeted by a very sweet staff member who without me asking, made a note to the rest of her fellow staff members, that we would be accompanied by a service animal. This is greatly appreciated so that there is no awkward conversations at a no-pet facility. While we experience some difficulty getting the shower head to work (rather than the shower wand attachment), the staff in the breakfast area were amazing and more than made up for any complications. There were 2 family reunions & 2 travel ball teams eating breakfast every morning, but the staff made sure every item was fully stocked and that the tables, etc stayed clean and ready for the next guest. If/when we are ever in Gadsden/Attalla again, we will be staying here!

Rooms were nice and well kept with the option to pull the couch out into an additional bed. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was good with an option for warm cinnamon bun type items. I would reccomend staying here and will stay here again.

Hotel looked clean and was well located as to the highway, The young lady on the front desk was very good and helpful with directions. The hotel is close to the half way point in our trip from Texas to Pennsylvania. Room was clean and comfortable, we had a very restful night. Room was quiet. I would recommend this hotel to anyone. As for the breakfast, we had to leave before it was set up, and have on comment on it.

We stopped at this Best Western, we got a king bed with a sleeper sofa, the beds were very comfortable, the sleeper sofa not so much. The rooms were very large and clean. The staff was very kind and courteous even gave me a better rate than quoted over the phone. The breakfast area was nice and clean with tables and large tall table in the middle with bar stools if you had a large group. There was even a nice patio you could eat outside of the weather was ok. The breakfast offered hot foods as well as as cereal, muffins, breads and fresh fruit. Would definitely stay there again.

From outside it might not look so nice but the rooms are nice and staff is awesome. You have many stores walking distance like Walmart. Overall good experience. The breakfast I know it's free but you could add another waffle maker so there is not a long line of people waiting.

Great Motel in Gadsden!! Breakfast was excellent thanks to Evelyn! She did an excellent job of keeping the food replenished and the eating area was spotless!! Location is easy peasy to locate and plenty of eating places and fuel places!!

The room was great. The bed was very comfortable. Lots of space. Wifi worked really well. The service at the front desk was very pleasant at check in and very informative at checkout. The breakfast was ok, however the drinking water was nearly room temperature.

It was a very nice place to stay. The staff did an excellent job accommodating all of our needs. The room was very clean and we had no problems during our stay. We loved the location being close to the interstate and having available stores, restaurants, and gas stations very close by.

We had a Great Stay! We were there for my nephew's high school graduation. This was the first time staying at a Best Western and to be honest I was actually highly impressed. My family booked all of their reservations there so I decided to try it.

Very affordable large rooms with ceiling fans. The fan didn't make as much pleasant white noise as my own bedroom fan, but made it easier to adjust room temp for optimal sleeping conditions. Hotel is locates directly across from Walmart and within .25 miles of many restaurants and stores.

We stopped here without a reservation while on the road for business. The staff was both friendly and welcoming. Our room was conveniently on the first floor. It was very spacious and sparklingly clean. In fact, the whole place looked like it had just been built yesterday. There was a wide choice for breakfast: hot scrambled eggs, waffles, cereals, fresh fruit, etc. If I'm traveling that road again I would definitely stop here.

The hotel was nice and the room was large and very clean. The bed was extremely comfortable. It was located very near the expressway, which was convenient. The staff were friendly and the breakfast offered a nice selection. We stayed because of the NASCAR race, which was conveniently located just 30-40 minutes down the road. I thought the price was inflated because of the race, but I would stay at this hotel again.

The Hotel is clean and comfortable. The cancellation policy as stated by Hotel Management is 72 hrs (even though the confirmation states 24 hrs), cost me an additional night's charge even though I called and got verbal acknowledgement of the cancellation for the first night. There was no indication that I would receive a no-show full price charge until I reviewed my credit statement.

We were only here overnight and for breakfast. We checked in late. Check in was easy and quick. This hotel was very clean and room was spacious. Nice free breakfast and coffee or juice. We chose this hotel because it was right off the interstate. There was a wal-mart and variety of restaurants nearby.

We went to see my son in the Navy and witness his ship getting commissioned. We drove the 1500 miles and stayed at several different hotel chains along the way. This hotel is clean and well kept. The staff is friendly and helpful. One of the best Best Westerns I have stayed at ever. If you want a very nice room for a decent price this is your place. The breakfast was good as well. I would stay here again.

The hotel and room were fine. Room clean, and staff friendly and helpful. The breakfast was below normal BW standards. Many items out of stock, and not re-stocked. The hot items, were also in short supply, with many other guests also looking for breakfast items.

I checked into the Best Western on 9/26 and checked out on 9/29 and I was sad to go. The hotel is very stylish with modern touches here and there. The free breakfast buffet is amazing. There is a washer and dryer on the second floor for guest convenience. (The price is reasonable at $1.50 to wash and $1.00 to dry....The Holiday Inn Express next door doesn't charge for theirs...just sayin'). The highlight of the experience was Selita at the Front Desk. She was sweet, personable and funny. A real breath of fresh air. I had booked a Standard Room and because the hotel was not full, she upgraded me to a King bed Suite for free!! I fell in love with her just a little bit after that upgrade...??. Also, do not miss out on her White Chocolate Macadamia Nut cookies. She baked them and put them out in the lobby for guests to enjoy. Amazing! It was a complete delight!

This is a very new Best Western. Easy to find and easy to get to. They have a very smooth and efficient operation. We asked where we could get a good dinner and they sent us to a restaurant close by that was as good as the staff said it was. Our room was easy to get to and the breakfast area was very nice. We enjoyed our breakfast. Good place to stay.

I had a very nice stay the room was comfortable, large clean The hallway was quiet. Bathroom was clean. I would stay at this location again. I was the parking area was larger to get into but there was a truck stop on the other side of the interstate so it works well.

The hotel was very clean and the room large. Had a few minor services issues and the paint in the hallway and by the doors to the room need some maintenance. Overall it was a good stay and I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling to Gadsden.

We stay at many Best Western Plus's and this one is very nice. We have found many have gotten below the BW Plus standards but not this one. The front desk is friendly and the rooms are clean and comfortable.

Great experience. check in Staff, Awesome!! We were exhausted from traveling and we checked in around midnight. The lady at the check in desk was extremely nice, very helpful and gave us a great rate. We had check another vendor while driving in and Best Western gave us the BEST rates. We were very happy with our experience and we will be staying there again.

This was one of the hotels that was recommended to stay for this softball tournament. Our stay was very pleasant and would stay here again next year. Our room was very spacious and the bed was comfortable.

Stayed one night here as part of a longer road trip. Nice convenient location near the interstate. Also close to good basic dining. Check in & check out very simple fast, and easy. Couldn't ask for more for the price.

We stayed here at the start of our trip to the Hwy 127 Yard Sale. Staff was very nice, hotel was clean and good breakfast choices were included in the room price. Beds were comfortable, wifi was free, great shower! Would stay here again if we make it back to Gadsden.

I stayed for one night on return from a business meeting. Check-in was smooth and prompt. The room was comfortable and everything functioned. Internet was reliable. Bed helped with a decent rest. Check-out was ok.

Very clean. Very friendly. Hot breakfast with biscuits, sausage, eggs. Pastries, fruit yogurt coffee or just about anything you could want. Although we didn't use it pool looked nice. Good price. Great stay. Really have nothing negative to say about our stay. Will stay again.

8/3/16 room had fan with blades covered with dust, therefore could not use. Doing so could have triggered my asthma. Unit holding TV and fridge was damaged had a broken piece. Room colors were very drab and unappealing. Upon opening room drapery this morning, found the window overlooked a dumpster. So much for giving rewards members a good view. Asked to speak with manager upon check-out at 8 am and was told no manager on property and wouldn't arrive until noon. Overall experience at this facility was "not acceptable." Certainly not competitive with our Hilton and Hampton Inn experiences.

the girl at the desk helped me get my reward card going. i had filled everything out before hand and i was sent an email stating to print out my account number and when i went to a bestwestren to use the account number and id be sent a card! the room what we had was awesome! very clean! staff were very pleasant i will be staying there again!

We have stayed here before and are always very satisfied. This time the staff was even more friendly. The housekeeper even used my daughters' blankets and stuffed animals to make a cute arrangement on the bed. They loved it. And we forgot a tablet charger, they are mailing it to us. Great service!

We had a weekend planned of family fun and hitting up the Trade days in the area. The first night was spent next door at another hotel. We decided we needed to look for another place to stay when no one slept good that night. So we took off to the hotel next to us, The BW plus. We walked in the door and meet a very Happy lady that was so eager to help us. Ms. Selita not only booked a room for the night she also to us down to look at the room beforehand. We slept so good that night. The next morning we went down for breakfast and she was talking to guests and helping to keep the tables clean and picking up trash. I have to say, I've never seen hospitality quite like this. We look forward to staying here from now on when we return to Gadsden in a few weeks. Thanks Ms. Salita for making us feel at home. I found the clerks and the breakfast personnel to be exceptionally friendly and helpful. The hotel was very clean and presented well. This was also the most complete breakfast I have encountered at any of my hotel stays recently. I would recommend this hotel to any traveler passing through this area.

After driving all day, my husband and I decided at the last minute to try the Best Western Plus. There is no going back to another hotel when we travel by car. This specific property had plenty of safe, well-lit parking and a cordial, efficient front desk staff. Spacious and well-appointed rooms topped off the experience.

Very nice hotel close to interstate.End of road quiet location. Walk to nearby restaurants.Clean rooms and breakfast provided.No smoking and pets a big plus.Staff was friendly and helpful.We were on a road trip and this was a perfect one night stop.Would not hesitate to stay here again.

Had bed bugs in both rooms we reserved. Breakfast was mediocre grab and go style and hotel seemed a little outdated! Should have stayed at the Hampton next door. The staff was pleasant but we were in a hurry so didn't want to spend time complaining. Not worth the $100 a night

It was as nice as it can be had restraints located close by with a super Walmart across the road the air conditioning was on at a comfortable temperature most motels I go in to have the AC off room was clean plenty of towels and pillows and sheets was as white as white would love to stay there again.

We waited until the weekend of our 30 year wedding anniversary. Then we started looking for places to stay in Mentone Alabama. A very bad idea! there was nothing available. We drove to Attalla, Alabama and decided to try The Best Western Plus. It couldn't have been better! We were treated like ROYALTY! The Front desk clerk went out of her way to make our stay memorable, she was fantastic! breakfast was great! the honeymoon suite was heavenly, rooms were very clean. Overall we would rate this property excellent!

The highlight of this location is breakfast. The room was clean, internet worked well, TV worked fairly well. Desk clerks were hiding in the back office on check in and check out. Price was very high compared to other BW+ motels where I've stayed and compared to competitor motels. No great accolades to give for this location.

Highly recommend this hotel. Overall it was a great place to stay the weekend with my daughter. The pool was very clean. The staff were all very friendly. Our room was very clean. No complaints what so ever!

Stopped here on our way to Pennsylvania. This hotel is very nice and very clean. Front desk clerk was very friendly. The rooms are very spacious and clean. Plenty of room in the parking lot. The rooms feel great ready to kick back and relax. Great price too well worth the money.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here, and upon checking out, we immediately booked a room for our return trip home in two weeks. Our room was clean, had two queen sized beds, couldn't have asked for a nicer place. We were close to the highway and eating spots...easy on, easy off, and as for the free breakfast...their selections match any breakfast spot..you want it, they have it. No complaints here, only compliments!

A bit on the pricey side for a mediocre hotel in the middle of nowhere. The staff was plenty nice, but the breakfast was weak. Nothing special at all about this place. Acceptable, but by no means great. For the money, next time I'll go to the Holiday Inn Express or a Hampton,

The Best Western Plus was a pleasant surprise. The rooms are very comfortable and really spacious. My king suite had a couch, chair, coffee table and end table. It also has a large fridge and microwave. Parking lot is large for those pulling a boat or a trailer.

Hotel was half the way to our final destination so we decided to give it a try. The receptionist was very friendly and commending. Excellent friendly staff, clean room.comfy bed. Would recommend highly. Will go back again.

I loved staying at the Best Western in Gasden, Alabama. The staff was extremely friendly and the hotel was very clean. The price was great and the town was awesome. Hope I get to come back here again!!

Encountered the friendliest front desk lady EVER. It was late and she was still smiling at each guest. Super clean room. Good breakfast next morning and again, a wonderfully kind and helpful lady working the complimentary breakfast on site. Will visit again if ever down that way.

We wanted a room that had all the amenities such as a refrigerator, microwave and pool along with fitness center. Also continental breakfast. If you're looking for a no nonsense place to stay without all the fancy lobby or building, but a nice clean place that you can have a nice continental breakfast in the morning, than this is the right place.

A very clean motel and a friendly staff which makes staying here is like being at home. We have stated at this location two times in the last week. the 14th and 22nd of March and really did enjoy both stays.

The atmosphere at this inn was very quiet and peaceful. Amazing, considering there was a high school team staying that night. A bunch of very quiet young ladied who did their school credit. A most relaxing night.

I stayed here on a business trip. I usually chose hotels that allow pets as I Travel with a service dog. However, the options were very limited and I prefer best westerns. They hotel knew the laws about service animals and treated me very fairly. They even gave me an upper floor as sometimes my dog alerts to noises when in a strange place. The rooms were very clean and very nice beds. Breakfast was adequate as well. Better than most continental breakfasts. Thank you for a stress free stay.

The Lincoln Trail College softball team had an outstanding stay at the Best Western Plus in Gadsden AL. From check in to check out everything about the hotel was excellent. It is in a great location for shopping and dining. It is very easy to get in and out of the hotel property to other venues.

We had a wedding shower/calm bachelorette party here. We were loud, lost keys, and made a little too much noise. The lady working the front desk was so nice and patient with us! We got two adjoining rooms and they were very clean. The king room has a living area and the TV's are huge! I highly recommend this hotel if you're in town!

This motel is consistently clean, comfortable, friendly and a good value for the money. It is conveniently located near the expressway and far enough off the road to minimize road noise. The staff is always top notch and helpful to a fault. I travel for about five weeks every January and February and this is always my favorite stay on the trip. It is a great place to relax and refresh on a long trip.

We've stayed here several times over the past few years, and the hotel is always clean and the staff are friendly. The breakfast offers a decent selection (and is included with the room). Last time we stayed, the pool was murky and crowded by locals. This seemed out of the ordinary for this particular Best Western, but cost them a star from their otherwise five star performance.

We've been stopping at this hotel for the last 7 years without a problem until this latest stop. People are so inconsiderate..Slamming doors, smoking right outside front door and hanging around lobby. Never noticed walls were so thin you could hear conversations coming from people on both sides of our room, you would have thought they were in our room talking to us. As there are 6 hotels all on this exit we will be looking elsewhere next time we come through the area. I guess the saying is true, "you get what you pay for" for $10 to $15 more I will gladly spend it.

Definitely recommend. Clean inside and out, outstanding desk staff and full breakfast. We could not find a thing wrong with our stay. Used coupon from book picked up at rest area. Reasonable price for quality. The service this hotel provided is the main reason we stay at Best Western.

I have stayed in this hotel 4 days a week since June 2015. The staff has gone out of their way to make me feel at home. They are familiar with who I am when I arrive and depart. Being away from home all of those nights was less difficult due to the staff and the pleasant surrounds of the BW King Suite.

Really liked the location, its proximity to the interstate and lots of local restaurants, also Walmart across the street. Continental breakfast in the lobby area was great, but small room for tables and chairs for the guests, so it was crowded. Beds were a little noisy, but very clean and pillows great. Music in the hallway kept us awake. Also, room was above the main lobby door and contractors kept going outdoors to smoke made it very noisy. Very clean rooms and bedding was great though. Overall we did like this hotel

This hotel is centrally located near several restaurants, (mostly fast food) and across the street from a Walmart Shopping Plaza. There are other hotels in the area which means plenty of people and well lit areas at night time. Hotel still has that new feel with clean comfortable well appointed rooms. There is a breakfast buffet that's included in the rate and it's pretty good with the usual selections. Front desk staff is friendly and housekeeping does a good job. We stayed here while visiting family in the area and we would do again. Room is a good value for the price and would definately recommend to others.

We stayed at Best Western for the very first time and my granddaughter who is 18 years old woke up with bites over her body. I only had a few spots. The hotel was clean and looked great. They apparently got some bad mattresses.

We arrived late for a one night stay. The hotel was clean, had a friendly front desk, and the rooms were nice and large. The hotel was off the road enough to limit noise. We had breakfast the next morning and it was good, hot, and well stocked. We would definitely stay here again.

Great hotel, spacious clean room, overall appearance excellent. The breakfast was well laid out, with plenty to choose from. The staff is great during all service. They directed us to a excellent place to eat dinner that was fairly close. This is another hotel that meet our needs during traveling. This is a very clean, neat, modern, hotel... the staff were all friendly, and eager to assist me with all my needs...the hotel was decorated wonderfully for the Christmas holiday which makes holiday travel more bearable...the hot breakfast was really good, an attendant was on site and kept everything neat, tidy, and fresh....the hot coffee was wonderful and very welcome at 3am...

Stayed here one night and was very satisfied. The room was clean, beds were comfortable and the staff was super nice. The breakfast was your typical free breakfast, but it served its purpose. The view from the breakfast area was beautiful with the woods outside the window. Only complaint was walls are a little thin. We could hear our neighbor's TV but that's not enough to keep me from staying here again. Would recommend this hotel without hesitation. Great value for your money.

Last minute needed a place to stay halfway to our destination. Booked 2 rooms. Called to check availability, front desk clerk gave excellent directions. Smooth check in & out. Clean rooms. The breakfast hostess, Joy, was fabulous! She was so attentive. She greeted everyone so warmly and did her best to meet any need. Kept the dinning area spotless. All the diners seemed to enjoy talking with her. Will stay here again.

Nice hotel and a good value in a convenient location. Hotel staff was very pleasant and efficient upon arrival and check out. My room was not ready when I arrived (after 3 pm ) but they quickly offered me a different room that was ready just on a different floor.

Located out by the interstate in the midst of the usual welter of fast food and hotels, the Best Western is still one of the best choices in the Gadsden area. The rooms are spacious and well maintained. Service is certainly adequate, including the relentlessly cheerful breakfast attendant. The facilities are everything you would expect from a mid-priced, roadside hotel. All in all, if your travels are along I-59 or you are staying in Gadsden for business or pleasure (great golf courses) then the Best Western will be a good choice

It was really nice and clean. The staff was excellent and I would recommend this hotel to anyone who comes to this particular area.I stayed at Fairfield my first week and wished I had known that this hotel was 100% better than the Fairfield. I would have stayed here the first week.

We have stayed here previously and have enjoyed our visit with them immensely. They make you feel welcome and are very attentive to your needs. Our room was very clean and we found the bed to be very comfortable. We had a great nights rest. Will definitely stay there again.

the area is good for dining and the area is very clean and safe. the room was clean and well keep. big tv. Clean linen white sheet not gray out. Towel was big and soft. Carpet was clean. Chair in room look new and hardly used.

We stopped for a night on our way home from Louisiana. We'd had a long day of driving and were happy to have a painless and quick check-in; we could immediately see that the room was jut what we needed. There was a helpful map of the area in the lobby that made the celebrated Blackstone Craft Brewpub in downtown Gadsden a lot easier to find.The hotel is exceptionally convenient to I-59.

Very noisy .I think there was a elephant in room above me also on main drag in town also 2 tour buses showed up with 150 people wiped out the breakfast bar and made noise all night long.Rooms are clean but bathtub does not drain well at all.

I was in town for a funeral & chose to stay at the BW. Room was clean as well as the bathroom. AC worked great & there was a ceiling fan too to add extra comfort if needed. The beds were very firm & comfortable. Very close to different restaurants & stores including Walmart as well as gas stations & yet even with my room facing the front of the property the room was very quiet. The staff was always nice & friendly & the free breakfast was great with scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, white & wheat bread, grits & fruit & juices. They have smoked bacon on Fridays.

It was the best BW I have ever seen When we walked in the door the cleanliness and decor was impeccable. The staff chearfull and efficient. The room was Clean,Pretty and pretty towel arrangements. The other guests enjoyed the common area by playing folk music. it was great.

Very good, clean,friendly staff,good breakfast, went with golf buddies and they were all impressed. The rooms were large and the beds very comfortable. A small patio out back was I nice place to have coffee.

The Best Western Plus Gadsden Hotel and Suites in Gadsden, Al. This hotel is a great place to stop over night, and it is about halfway between Texas and Pennsylvania for our trip. Hotel looked great and the room was very comfortable and large. The woman that operated the breakfast did a very outstanding job. You don't see that much these days. I would recommend this hotel to anyone.

Hotel is beautiful. Staff is extremely friendly. They have done an excellent job with customer service especially Joy in the breakfast area. She is so JOYFUL and she treats each person as a special guest. Bringing refill coffee to the guest table, inquiring about them personally, wishing them a great day. She is a wonderful start to anyone's morning. Upon check in they have fresh cookies and beverage. Room décor is tastefully decorated. Beds are extremely comfortable. Hotel is quiet.

They were very professional the only problem we had was the pool was not very clean but the rooms were awesome and the staff was more than helpful. They were very understanding with a small child and the cleaning crew was very friendly
