    « Great sleep »

This was a nice, clean and comfortable place to stay. I will be in the area again and will stay at this location again. It was a good location. There was a Starbucks directly behind our room. The beds and rooms were clean and comfortable.

    « Clean and comfortable »

We have stayed here several times for volleyball tournaments my daughter has played in. The rooms are clean and updated. Shoney's, Waffle House, and Starbucks are adjacent to the property. Hotel is convenient to the interstate and many other places of interest. Price is always great! We will be back.

« Great looking rooms, great location and friendly, helpful staff »

We haven't had the best of experiences with hotel stays this trip and we've stayed everywhere from a Marriott to a Super 8. This particular place gave us a great experience and we would most definitely stay again. Friendly, helpful staff makes all the difference.

    5
« Comfortable and Easy Off and On »

Thus B/W motel is very comfortable and is easy on/off the Interstate. There are many popular eating places close by. The breakfast was well presented and good. The room was clean and a good place to spend the night..

    4
    « Excellent Location »

Hotel is very clean and in an excellent location, within walking distance of many restaurants and a Kroger grocery store. Our room was very clean and even though we were next to the staircase (Rm. 140) it was extremely quiet. The hotel staff were pleasant and very professional. Would stay here again without hesitation.

    2
    « overpriced »

Very overpriced for what it is. Tv didn't work took 2 hrs for someone to come fix it. Tried to call the office and the phone wasn't working. Upon looking at the phone it didn't even have a cord on it from the phone to the wall jack. We placed the phone directly in front of the TV so housekeeping would see it and it stayed there for 2 days. This is a security problem when you can't reach the office.

« Way cheaper than Nashville »

We were just passing thru between Alabama and Kentucky and needed a place to stay. Nashville was the halfway point, but prices were outrageous. Since we weren't going to have time to do any siteseeing, we opted to stay in Franklin instead. The Best Western was clean, comfortable, had free breakfast, and was conveniently located off I-65 ... And so much cheaper. Just what we needed. No frills. It is a motel after all. But even in a chain, there can be extreme variation in quality. I would not hesitate to stay here again.

    « Substandard property »

We reserved and paid for this room ahead of time. When arriving at 10:30 due to flight delays we opened the bed to find that it had very OBVIOUSLY not had the sheets changed. I called the front desk and was told "the staff is gone we don't have anyone to change the sheets." I said, we'll change the sheets, just get me some clean ones. I went to the front desk only to be told "We're fully booked and there are no more sheets left," We ended up sleeping in our clothes on the overturned bedspread. I called Best Western customer service and go NO reply. DONE with Best Western, DONE with this hotel.Stay away.

« Overnight while heading south »

A good affordable option for a single overnight during a road trip South. Room decor has been updated, but the building itself is old. Hotel staff was decent, not extremely friendly and approachable, but we're accommodating when needed. There was some sort of mix up at some point because another couple was able to use their key to walk directly into our room, which caused our keys to deactivate. That was a little scary. We requested a crib and instead of a fitted sheet to use on the mattress, they provided a regular bath towel to be used, which DOES NOT promote safe sleep of infants. Are we unhappy with our stay? No. It served it's purpose and there are several eating options and it's extremely close to I65. Would we stay there again? Probably not.

    « Good affordable option »

Comfortable beds , very clean recently renovated room. Great location to visit Franklin, Tn. Friendly staff. Affordable prices for all your basic needs for a short stay. OK breakfast. Nice playground for the kids.

    « Clean Rooms »

We stopped here for a quick overnight stop in Franklin, TN. The room we had was a bit on the small side but it suited our needs just fine as it was just my husband and I. The room was very clean! It's in a convenient location but kinda hard to get out of the parking lot if your making a left sometimes due to traffic (you can go around back and go around behind the the starbucks and go to the light though).

« Nice Room - too much noise »

Positives: This hotel has obviously been reworked and it's pretty good overall. The beds were good, the shower was fine, plenty of hot water. We picked it because it doesn't allow pets and finding one like this is getting more and more difficult. my Mother-in-Law and my wife both suffer from allergies to dog and cat hair/dander and since many people let their animals on the beds, it's pretty untenable and makes them miserable. Negatives: The Internet was not good - signal was 1 bar so not much use. The big negative was the noise. Our neighbor played his TV until 3:30 AM and the sound came through the walls. In the morning there was a lot of noise also, very early. They put us in the back of the 2nd unit, where semi trucks parked. The noise there was really bad, and woke us up about 6:00. The manager apologized but said it was all they had left so not much choice. Conclusion: We would stay there again because as I said the room was fine overall and didn't allow pets. However, I would insist on a different room location.

« Excellent Value Full Breakfast »

We've stayed there 3 times on our visits to Franklin. Friendly and helpful staff. Full beakfast included is a real benefit. Convenient location to historic sites, including Carnton Plantation, where my great grandmother Mariah Reddick was once enslaved.

    « Top notch!! »

i travel a lot, and I used my points for this stay.. I was a little worried on room just costing 12000 points a night.. but to my surprise, the room was very nice , clean , and the bed. , OMG we slept like a baby.. and the breakfast was a hit as way..I never do these surveys, but this time , this place calls for two thumps up!!! Thanks again Franklin Best Western.. Sincerely Herschel Bailey

« Updated rooms at Best Western »

The hotel resembles a motel with each door leading to the outside, of which I am not a fan. However, the rooms were nicely updated and sufficient. The sink area is within the room and not separate in the same room as the shower, which makes getting ready an issue for anyone still sleeping. The staff was very friendly and helpful and the breakfast was good. The location is great, right off of the highway and close to a ton of shops and minutes from downtown Franklin. The price value was great too. I would recommend staying here.

    3
« Needs just a little more care but overall a good place to sleep »

They just not as quick with resolving a matter and when you mention it there response is sorry but no care or follow up on the matter. Not sure why that's wasn't what I got in the beginning when we first start coming

    5
« Very Pleased with this motel »

We stayed here while travelling thru from Wisconsin to Pensacola. We were very impressed with this well-managed hotel. Not the most plush place but very clean, very comfortable, and everything was well done. Breakfast was good. We were so pleased we made it a point to stay here on our return trip. Recommend . This is an excellent value.

    5
    « Value! Value! Value! »

Friendly helpful staff. Fitness room and complimentary breakfast included. In close proximity to our conference at The Factory at Franklin and all kinds of shopping and dining within walking distance. Our room cost a third less money than others who chose lodging farther away. We saved enough to pay for our dinners!! Thanks Best Western, see you same time next year!!

    5
    « Excellent hotel »

The room was clean and up to date. The bed was very comfortable. Will return for sure; This was our second stay here. Made a point to stay there this time. We asked for first floor and away from highway noise and that is what we got. Right by highway 65. Easy on and easy off.

    3
« It was ok, but would not return »

The hotel looked nice in pictures, and the property had undergone some recent updates. However, the building is still weathered and not as clean as it could be. There was some kind of booger smeared on the bathroom door, there was men's hair left on the vanity from shaving, from a previous guest. The breakfast area was far too small to accommodate the number of guests in the hotel. We left and went to Starbucks, which was unfortunate as I purposely looked for a hotel with breakfast included. I also read many reviews which stated the breakfast was great. However, i thought it was average. I saw the staff working very hard to keep up with demand, and he did a great job... but the food options there were nothing out of the ordinary.

    « Franklin, TN »

Very convenient location, we love Best Westerns. Updated room with plenty of outlets. We try to stay at Best Western as much as possible and love the new updates that they are incorporating into them.

    5
    « Good place! »

Overnight trip. Reasonable room rate and nice room. Older but has been renovated, painted and generally updated. Clean and kept up nice! Central to restaurants and main road. Would definitely Recommend!

    3
    « Nicely remodeled hotel »

The breakfast is very nice, lots of choices. Very busy hotel with parking near rooms. Everything went well until the end when I presented a compliant with Raphael at the front desk. I was highly offended with how he spoke to me and we will not return to this hotel. I have business here 3-4 weeks a month.

    5
« nice place south of Nashville »

NIce place, clean, typical best western breakfast. Lots of restaurants in the area. It is in a hotel area near I65. Very Friendly staff. I would stay there again. The room had a fridge and microwave. Nice TV. Area seemed safe. Lots of traffic tho

    4
« Nice hotel, close to downtown »

The hotel has been updated. Rooms were specious and updated. Breakfast was good always had eggs, bacon or sausage, waffles, and cold items. It was quiet and the staff was friendly. The house keeping could use improvement, on most days the cleaning didn't not start before noon. Garbage in the breakfast area were overflowing. We were told the area is not great, but we disnt have any concerns with it.

    5
« Second time staying here and we're impressed! »

This was my family second time staying at this hotel. We had previously stayed here two years ago. We were impressed with the new decor in the room. They are updated and refreshing!!! We were impressed!!!

    5
    « Awesome »

I stayed there for just a day, but had a remarkable experience. Easy Checkin, clean n neat surrounding, good room quality and the surprising part was the lovely breakfast with so much variety. Good and courteous staff especially the Indian guy at the breakfast who was so helpful and kind in service.

    4
    « Clean and comfortable »

We stayed here on our way to New Orleans. The room was quiet and clean. It has outside doors and was older, but had been recently updated and seemed to be well kept. The breakfast was free and tasty. Lots is restaurants within walking distance and easy to access from the interstate.

    5
    « Hotel stay »

Very clean hotel, nice people and good breakfast. The room had everything you needed, I called to get a room because I'm having surgery an needed a place close to stay by the hospital and they gave me a great rate

    2
    « Roaches in rooms »

Room need more attention when it comes to cleanliness. I cut my stay short due to roaches in my room after having to change rooms three times. The only way I would go back to this location if it was my last resort.

  • 4
    « short notice stay »

father was in hospital I needed a room close by went to best western was able to get a room quickly and my smoking preference quickly. used best western a year ago for brothers illness because of being so close to hospital and service then was just as good and efficient as this time. we always recommend best western.

    « B-day celebration »

We decided to stay in Franklin, TN to celebrate a birthday. Clean room, very accommodating, friendly staff. Many options for food, entertainment and shopping. They serve a full, complimentary breakfast.

    5
« Amazing food staff and the rooms were extremely clean »

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. It was extremely clean the staff wars really nice and the breakfast was great as well. I travel frequently and this might be the best experience I paid this year. The rates are great and the service is great and the breakfast was good as well

    1
« EXTREMELY POOR Customer Service »

BE WARNED - This hotel does not care about its paying customers whatsoever. My husband and I were driving back from Florida to our home in the midwest and had booked this hotel about two weeks in advance (through Priceline). As we were driving through Georgia, my husband and I both became ill and had to stop in Georgia (rather than at this hotel). When we called the hotel to let them know we would not be making it, the front desk person (whom we could not understand because of his strong accent) made it clear that he would not be willing to work with us on cancelling and he refused to give us his name to give to Priceline so they could cancel it on their end. He also said he was going to charge us a cancellation fee. He was EXTREMELY rude and condescending. My husband and I are very friendly people and were very polite to him. I was a bit shocked, as I had read many good reviews about the hotel. I will never attempt to stay here again.

    1
    « Terrible »

This place was dirty! The bathroom was never mopped or the toilet cleaned. A dirty towel used to wipe off the floor full of black hair was hanging behind the door. Toilet wouldn't flush. Door to the room was stuck and you had to push open with your shoulder.

    4
    « Great Value »

Small rooms, but great value for just sleeping. Very tasty breakfast! Clean room & wonderful staff. Easy access to the expressway. We would be happy to stay there again. This survey requires a minimum of 200 Characters. It is difficult to do.

    5
« Pleasantly surprised and impressed »

We booked our stay thru one of the "they pick your hotel apps". Driving up we noticed that the structure was an external hallway type..."oh well, i thought, win some lose some". It turns out it was win some! At check in, they courteously and quickly gave us our room and we drove over and found that it was a king and we had 4 in our party(me, wife and 2 teenage kids). We drove back to front desk to ask for a change, expecting the usual, "you didnt choose bed preference or we need to charge additional for that room type banter", but nope. Desk person tried but system didnt allow it, and he called the manager, who hurriedly returned(slightly out of breath) to take care of our issue! Upon entering our new double room, we find a nicely redecorated older room with new carpeting and tile, fast internet and comfortable beds. After a good nights rest, we went to breakfast, expecting continental, but to finding eggs, bacon, sausage and biscuits! Pleasant surprises at every turn, great value! If I owned a hotel business, this is how I would wish that my mangement staff ran the operation!

    5
« Cheap, clean, good breakfast »

It is clean, new decor in rooms, very comfortable beds, good hot breakfast. Only negative is the main lobby is detached from the rooms. It was quite a wet walk from the room to the breakfast. Only a small amount of road noise, not enough to wake you up.

    4
« Hidden Gem in Plain Site »

This is an older property off Murfreesboro Rd but set back so you don't get the road noise. The property has been recently remodeled, very clean, very comfortable and very quiet. Now, I stayed by myself with a single queen bed but if you have a family of 4, the rooms might be a tad bit small. The free breakfast was actually better than most at this price point. The staff was very good and nice. The one downside was the slow wi-fi, but it is free. No, this is not a 5-star, or even 4-star resort with all those amenities, but it is, IMO, a solid clean, comfortable, quiet 4-star hotel especially for the price!! I would highly recommend this hotel.

    « Pick a different hotel »

Had read previous good reviews, so selected this hotel. My daughter and I are still not sure they could possibly have been for the same place we stayed. Staff not helpful. Really needed to be on internet to finish up business and when it went out nothing was done to fix it. Never did get it back before checkout. Rooms were barely adequate, for the price, and would definitely picked another hotel had we known. The staff was condescending and then did nothing concrete to solve the internet problem. Am sure the one lady went to our check out room to prove us wrong and we never saw her again...We went on to the BW Plus at Nashville airport and was difference of night and day. That one we would recommend with no hesitation.

    « BW Franklin Inn »

Close to I-65. The hotel was clean. The beds were comfortable. Keurig coffee maker in the room was a plus. The hotel property had been upgraded. There was a few things I would have completely changed such as the door frames. They looked as if they had a hundred coats of paint but that is really no biggie. Overall we had a good experience.

    3
    « Satisfied a need »

Was looking for a place to stay overnight for a funeral out of state. Found this hotel within our budget. Rooms, bed, and bath were clean. Breakfast area seemed small and congested. Staff were friendly.

    3
« Good Place for a Reasonable Price »

We selected this property last minute primarily based on location and reviews. Check-in was quick and easy. The room was clean and comfortable. Full breakfast is offered; however we decided to select a different local option.

    3
    « Clean and nice »

It was a nice hotel in a GREAT location and easy access to highway and food etc. smoking rooms not that nice but regular rooms were better. We didn't spend much time in the rooms so we were ok with it.

    3
    « Small rooms big $$$ »

Our room was very small for the $100 for the night. We will not stay in this motel again. The hotel is easy to find but that was about the only good thing about this place. Internet was slow and not secure.

    5
    « outstanding »

The staff help me check in early and got house keeping to clean the rooms I need first . The rooms were very clean .House keeping did a good job.. The hotel has been updated very nice .And the beds were outstanding. The breakfeast was very good also I,am planning to start staying with best western more often .

    5
    « Great value! »

Great price booking on Priceline. Was on a mother/daughter trip to Alabama.Hotel is in a nice, clean, and safe area. There is a Starbucks and a grocery store in walking distance. Also, there are nearby restaurants. Our room was clean, modern, spacious, and the beds were very comfy. Breakfast was good and above a typical continental breakfast. Historic downtown Franklin is less than 3 miles and Nashville is about a 20 minute drive. Will stay here anytime I'm in this area or traveling thru!

    5
    « Nice property »

Spent 3 nights here and I can truthfully say that this is among the best Best Westerns that I have ever checked in to. The breakfast was very good, the room was nicely decorated and very clean. I highly recommend this property to anyone.

    5
    « My review »

Everything was satisfactory. Couldn't get wifi, but that was my fault. Was glad that hotel was there and rooms available on a late Sunday night, especially after a long trip. Best Western is usually one of my first choices when it comes to choosing a hotel. I will continue to consider Best Western in the future.

« Pros and Cons of Franklin Inn ...Given "Last Room" »

I always dread hearing the clerk say ?you are getting our last room.? Well, I'm happy to report that fear was not realized, instead a pleasant surprise. Here are the pros and cons. First, the location. It's a pro. Far enough away from the highway so you won't hear any semis jake braking. Now a con. The office and fitness center are located in the parking lot away from the lodge portion with all the rooms. This means when you go to breakfast or use the workout area you will have to walk outdoors and there will not be ample parking around the office complex when everybody drives because it's raining, just like our stay. Now a Pro. The lodge building is the typical 2-story motel layout where you can park your car in front of or underneath your room if you get there early enough. We lucked out at 8PM and parked two spots from our door. Now a Pro, this room was their last so I expected less than top maintenance. All I could pick on was some stucco dry wall patching and too low enough water pressure to drive the massaging water-pick style shower head. (I see this all the time. Hotels add the latest ?Me too? gadget and invariably fail at the function end). Not a deal breaker. Just a disappointment. Got the water faucets to turn correctly. Yeah! Very nice clean, fresh smelling room. Double yeahs. Now the breakfast. Double yeahs. Hotel was packed and they didn't disappoint or run out of anything. Three kinds of milk! Whole, 2% and fat free. Same with coffee flavors, reg, decaf, and hazelnut. Eggs, bacon, sausage, gravy and biscuits. Fresh fruit including whole bananas, five star all around. Only con is you press the automatic pancake maker once and you get two pancakes. Is that a Pro or a Con? Would give it 5 stars except the quirky layout of the remote office. Tip: the road goes to the back lodge on both sides of the office, although it doesn't look that way. Enjoy your say. I would visit again.

    « GREAT PLACE »

The Franklin Best Western is a good place to stay, You are only a short drive to downtown and the Opry, but at a better price. The hotel rooms are being remodeled and I did not hear any noise from it. The breakfast was good. They had eggs, sausage, country ham, pancakes, fruit and cereal. There is also and Shoney's or Waffle within 50 yards

    5
« Excellent Choice at Great Price »

I am a BW Elite member and I highly recommend this motel if your traveling through Franklin on I-65. We were greeted by Nick, the desk clerk. Very friendly and helpful with whatever you need. Check in and check out very quick and efficient. The motel has been renovated and very nice inside and out. Nice size rooms. Very clean. New furniture and New mattresses made for a very restful sleep. The breakfast was great. The BEST I have ever had at a motel. I relayed that to Nick. We also stayed there on our way back. Many restaurants nearby. Many within walking distance. We will stay at this motel whenever we are traveling that way.

    5
    « Nashville trip »

if you can't find a hotel in downtown Nashville this hotel is easy to get to from Nashville.......and much more affordable....we made a good choice....it is on the road to Franklin which is a nice place to visit....there are a lot of good restaurants in the area....we will definitely keep this hotel on our list for the next trip to Nashville

    4
    « A family wedding trip »

The inn is on a busy , but well businessed street , so lots of choices food stores etc. we stayed 3 nights it was a reasonable price for room . Good breakfast choices , a Waffle House next door , same parking lot if you want open late . Not to many parking spaces , so your car might not be by your room , it seemed pretty quiet as far as people traffic at night . Just the street traffic a bit loud .

    3
    « Ok Hotel »

The hotel is ok. The beds are very hard so be prepared. Overall a decent value. The breakfast is a bit above average. It looks like the hotel was recently refreshed. The age of the hotel still shows through in many places particularly the bathroom.

    2
    « Smell »

Had to cancel my reservations. Went to check in and the smell of what I assume to be cleaning supplies was breathtaking. I was going to go ahead and stay because I could only assume the rooms didn't smell as strong. I went to talk to the front desk clerk and was blindsided by attitude. That was enough to send me down the road.

    3
« Average hotel. Needs updating. »

Location is great. Room needed some badly needed dusting. Areas that are definitely being ignored by maids. Like around the lamps. Beds are comfortable. Front desk people are very nice and helpful. Just an average hotel.

    5
    « Great Place »

Staff was courteous and friendly, great area to stay. We enjoyed the Franklin TN area with all it history and shopping. The area has lots of entertainment for all of the family and you will be welcome by all of the local establishment.

    2
    « Construction Crew Hotel »

This hotel is a great fit for construction workers needing to stay close to their job site from out of town. Not so good for business travel and needing rest for the next days business. The room was OK, but the noise from construction crews being up late at night, outside talking about their day and the language was unbearable. I called the front desk and someone came and moved them inside after 10:00 pm. I ended up leaving a radio on to drown out the noise. The breakfast area was piled high with these same construction workers the next couple of mornings and there were no places to sit. VERY small pillows on the spacious bed, standard definition on the HUGE TV. Could have been better!

    2
    « Old and worn »

For the price I was charged I expected a much better room. Everything is old and the walls and woodwork have an inch of paint on them. The furnishings were old and shabby. The bathroom was quite dated as well.

  • 4
« Clean and Affordable Modernized Hotel Room »

Best Western update of hotel room is excellent. Room was very clean and staff friendly. Bed was cozy and looked modern. Guests outside of room were loud during the night and we were woken up but overall this is a great value

    3
    « Average Best Western »

Lots to like, several things need improvement. Asked for a quiet room, and even though this property sits very far back from the main highway, a room facing it gets bombarded with lots of traffic noise, from gunning engines to loud motorcycles to 18 wheelers, etc. I asked to be moved to the back side of the property and my request was granted, so high marks for that (even though my original request was for a quiet room). Rooms themselves are average size, wifi worked well as did the heat/AC until. Minor cleanliness issues were found - hair on the bathroom floor and not the cleanest of carpets. Also, the breakfast room was extremely small for a property of this size and contained the usual carb-fest - also spotted were several flies. All in all, an average stay, but for the price of lodging in Franklin, you get what you pay for here.

    4
    « Nice clean rooms »

Don't judge this book by its cover. I wasn't expecting much when we seen the building, but the room (while a bit on the small size) was very clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. The breakfast was very good. Eggs, bacon, pancakes and the list goes on. If you can't find anything to eat you have real food issues. If in the area I would stay here again.

    « I usually stay a Choice »

I obtained a Best Western gift card from my credit card points. I had $100.00 on my card. This is the first time I have stayed in Best Western and it wasn't a bed experience. I will probably return to Choice Hotels. However the staff at Best Western really goes above and beyond. Good job!!

« Home base for visit »

While visiting son and family, we decided to stay at the best western. We thought the room was on the small side, but was clean and had what we needed. The building is on the older side, but clean. The breakfast was very good and enjoyable. The Hotel was only a mile and a half from family. We would stay here again.

    « Two night stay »

Room and bed were comfortable and clean. No issues with the TV or fridge. Bathroom fixtures were a bit aged but nothing bad. Staff was friendly at check in and helpful. Breakfast was good. Location is accessible to restaurants and a bank. Local and state tax adds $20 a night to the stay. If there was a drawback, water was slow to drain in the tub. Regardless, I'd stay here again and recommend to others.

    « Bloody Bed »

MY bed was bloody. Called for it to be cleaned and changed. Response was sheets shoved at me by a man who did not speak English. He did not understand when I requested full bedding change. Showed him the soiled bedding and he turned with out speaking and left by the time he returned I had already called for new reservations elsewhere. He shoved bedding at me and scooped up the old bedding, not even trying to listen to what I was telling him. Neither was there an offer to make the bed or a refund. The incident should not have happened as the blood was in plain sight when you walked in the door and was a large amount that it went through three layers of bedding! This place does not match online pictures. It is run down and dirty.

    « Needs updating »

We recently stayed due a family emergency for 5 days. They were very accomdating. The room was clean and comfortable. The rug was so worn that it separated from the strip moulding where the rug met the tile. When we left I mentioned it to the clerk. I suggested that someone needed to go hammer down the points on the carpet strip moulding because I had cut my heel twice. He just nodded politely and I didn't have much hope. The sink area is part of the room which means you might wake someone if you are an early riser. The hotel is in a very good location. Directly up the street of historic Franklin and near the highway into Nashville.

« Cheap clean rooms good breakfest »

Title says it all cheap clean rooms good breakfest on site fenced in play ground and pool friendly staff close to I 65 didn't use the pool but looked nice rooms are clean bed was super comfy and had plenty of pillows

    « A bit cramped »

Nashville and local cities seem to have a hotel avaiability, room size and cost problem but even so the rooms in this older motel style hotel were very small and cramped compared to other cities we stayed in and the room rate was high. Breakfast and the breakfast staff were lovely which almost make up for it. The breakfast was very good. Walking to any nearby restaurants apart from the Shoneys next door is downright dangerous as footpaths just stop. No wonder Americans drive. Be prepared to pay more and get less in Nashville and Franklin I think.

    « Awesome! »

This hotel had well thought out rooms, very clean, great helpful staff, excellent hot breakfast that was well staffed and constantly refreshed. Hotel is located in a great area with lots of amenities.

    2
    « Very Basic room »

There was a strong odour in the room coming from the air conditioner. The room was dated and the bathroom really needs an update. The price was good and the bed was comfortable but I will not rebook in the hotel.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

Excellent staff, and clean rooms. The person taking care of the breakfast items was very friendly and helpful. Easy check in, check out process. Breakfast was good but I would have preferred more choices for high protein, low carb diet. WiFi worked well.

    5
    « stay »

I give this hotel a very good rating. The room was excellent, the bed very good, the ice machine accessible. The pancakes at breakfast were not good, but everything else was. I would have liked waffles much better. l will recommend this hotel should any friends travel I this area.

We try to stay at best westerns, we have a small dog that must travel with us, now we see that you are changing policies---not happy with this, our dog is a service dog and was allowed to stay, but we will change hotel chains if this becomes a problem

« Great Location, Checks Most Boxes »

We fell in love with Franklin and the location of this BW allowed access to many restaurants, supermarkets, highways, Nashville, etc. Fairly standard motel type accommodation. Ok breakfast buffet, ok Fitness room

« Not one of the best... »

We had high hopes for this hotel, as had had good experiences so far with our Best Western bookings. We were here for 4 nights for a wedding, but with 2 small children. The rooms were very small, though clean enough. No microwaves in the room meant a traipse out everytime the baby needed a bottle. Very noisy on the main road side. There was a party one night we were there with loud music. The playground (one of the reasons for choosing this hotel) was not well kept, and in some places i felt dangerous, much to my toddler's dismay when i wouldn't let him play. They had a group of guests that left the outside table area a complete pigsty, and it took them a couple of days to attend to it. Washing and drying were outrageously expensive. Only saving grace was the breakfast was one of the best on our trip.

    4
« nice place and good breakfast bar »

we found this late at night and our nerves were on edge from traveling to go back home after hurricane irma..nice comfortable beds and good sleep...breakfast in am was good so we had a nice stay there

    5
    « Visiting from Vermont »

This has been one of the best hotels that we have stayed in . The rooms are nice and clean and the water is hot with lots of pressure. And they have reasonable prices compared to other hotels that we have looked into. They have a big outdoor pool with a playground.

    4
    « Comfortable »

This is a basic hotel, I was staying in town for a conference. The furniture inside was surprisingly nice, no smells in the room and it was nice to have an exhaust fan in the bathroom and hairdryer provided. It felt safe for a woman traveling along and I also got in a run in the neighborhood behind the hotel in the morning which was fine.

« Best Western served Best »

I stayed at the hotel for 3 nights. Both bedroom and bathroom were clean, and in particular the bed was clean and comfortable. The breakfast, although basic hot and cold, was good ande provided enough choices. Coffee was plentiful and well-made. The entrance/exit to the parking lot were easily accessible from the road, but the front is on a major highway, so I recommend the rear. The lighting in the rooms was sufficient, as were the number of electrical outlets for accessories. The check-in and check-out process was easy, and the hotel staff both the desk staff and the cleaning staff We're very professional and courteous. I highly recommend this as an inexpensive stay that is well-situated in the area.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

This was an excellent hotel-very clean, quiet, and comfortable. I highly recommend this hotel to weary travelers who have been on the road all day. It was a relaxing stay after traveling 8 hours in the car.

    4
    « Excellent »

Very clean and well-kept. For what you pay for what you get in this area you're not going to be able to beat it. Just remember you're in a very congested traffic area like all of the Nashville area. It is not a long drive to the city or most areas that you'd want to go in Nashville just be prepared for traffic.

    3
    « Bathroom »

Bathroom floor extremely slippery, wife fell hard to the floor when getting out of shower. The small bathmat provided was on the floor but didn't help. I reported it to the front desk and was told they would let housekeeping know.

    5
« Friendly professionals and clean rooms »

We fled from hurricane Irma and landed in Franklin,TN. It was a last minute reservation but well worth the stay. It was walking distance to a Starbucks (very important) but was also right smack in the middle of everything. There was also a good size playground on site that kept my little ones busy for a few hrs a day!

    3
    « My stay »

I enjoyed my room and the amenities of the hotel. Although I had a bad experience with a smell (cat/dog) that seemed to come from the air conditioner. And most importantly, there were men talking and laughing outside my room late at night. I travel alone for work and this made me feel unsafe. I wouldn't stay again because of this but I did like my room, it was nice and clean.

    5
« Great Experience - Nice Staff and Room »

We were given the opportunity to stay at one of the last available rooms. We were told it would be a smoking room which cause me great concern. The staff allowed me to see the room before committing to the stay. We great greatly surprised and please with how fresh the room smelt and how nice and clean it was. The staff was friendly and the room was great. Thank you.

    4
    « Overnight Stay »

The hotel was clean. Staff very welcoming. I thought it was a bit pricey for an overnight stay but we were comfortable and the room was clean. The refrigerator had not been closed properly so it was not usable during our stay. Overall we were satisfied and would stay here again.

    5
    « Completely amazing! »

I was a little skeptical because I've never been a fan of outward facing hotels, but this one definitely changed my mind!! The room was a little smaller than I expected, but I was barely in it except to sleep, so it wasn't that big of an issue. The staff was super friendly and even wished me a happy birthday since I was there for my birthday. The next time I come to Nashville, I'm definitely staying here and then just driving into Nashville!! It's definitely a very nice hotel!!

    5
« Great Place to stay »

this is a clean place to sleep and eat we stay here every time we go to Nashville or Franklin. Franklin has unlimited sites to see and to eat. The motel breakfast is great plus lots of it, plus good and people to help you to fix your plate

    « Remodeled Rooms/ Reasonably priced »

Rooms with modern furniture. Goose neck halogen reading lights above head board on each side of bed nice feature. There were also lamps on each side of bed with plug ins to charge cell phone. Desk lamp also had 2 plug ins for PC and additional desk space by a pull out desk under the main desk. Mini refrig in working order. Breakfast consisted of scrambled / hard boiled eggs, biscuits with country gravy, sausages, apples, oranges, yogurt, dry / hot cereal and even Almond. milk. Breakfast attendant ensured that items were replenished when needed. Rating as noted only because in the remodel, carpets remained which is harder to keep clean. Sidewalk outside rooms / parking lot kept clean. Rooms in back, away from main hwy quiet and the Publix Market / Mexican Grill / Restaurant / Starbucks handy, Stayed 4 nights and overall pleased.

    5
    « newly upgraded »

Pleasantly surprised with upgraded, fresh decor of our room (2 queen, non smoking). No microwaves in guest rooms -one available in lobby breakfast room _ was an small inconvenience to leave room to warm snack. Room was clean, beds comfortable, reception staff very friendly and caring. Used Best Western online to get best rate not available at actual motel.

    1
    « Horrible and dirty »

Floors and entire room were super dirty. Breakfast was cold. The staff did NOTHING to remedy any of our issues. The air conditioning was so loud. Super humid in our room and beds were crap. We had to buy slippers so our feet stayed clean.

    5
    « Excellent value »

I stayed here for business. Nice updated rooms. Everything was clean and worked. Great breakfast. Staff was friendly and professional. They have a nice pool and several restaurants nearby - even steps up from the parking lot to the Waffle House next door. Grocery store, Starbucks and a bagel shop right out the back drive. This hotel is an excellent value.

    4
    « Best value »

This Best Western is by far the best value for a quality stay that we have come across. Actually a room you could smoke in rather than having to get dressed and go outside. THANK YOU! Very efficient and friendly folks there to top it off.

    5
    « Great value »

The room was well designed and comfortable. The staff was personable and helpful. Parking was free and close. The breakfast was ok - but typical of hotel breakfasts. We had no issues and would stay here again

    2
    « Not happy »

We were disappointed with our room. The mattress was not good. The room smelled. The configuration of the room was awkward. When using the desk, there was no room to walk around. The furnishings looked like the room was newly remodeled, yet it still felt old and stuffy. The staff was very friendly and there were no complaints there. We generally have had good experiences with Best Westerns. This experience has made us cautious to use them again.

    5
    « Family visit for 4 nights »

We were very pleased with our stay. The room was updated and clean. The linens and comfort of the bed just as good as our previous stay in the area at a much more expensive hotel. The hot breakfast bar was very good. Nice pool and playground for those staying with children. All the staff was friendly. Only downfall is this is a motel not a hotel so you will hear traffic noise and guests opening their doors, housekeeping cart etc in the morning. Not much you can do about that. Overall was a great place for us to stay while visiting family in the area and we will most likely stay again.

    5
« My number 1 pick for Business travel »

Whether it's business or personal, this is the best hotel to stay at in the Brentwood/Franklin/Nashville area. They have great hot breakfast, friendly staff, updated rooms, and minutes away from nearby Nashville. Every time I am on business travel, this is the only place I would stay and I highly recommend it to anyone and everyone!

    3
    « SMOKED AND LOUD »

We got stuck in a smoking room. Didn't seem to matter as the smokers stood in the parking lot puffing away and dumping dozens of butts in the lot. Otherwise, the room was on the low side of average. Older hotel in need of maintenance. Parking lot has huge drain holes that jar the car/truck when you enter. Rooms are located behind a Shoney's restaurant that gets trash trucks and delivery trucks early in the morning with beeping back up devices.

  • 1
    « Overall a horrible experience. »

This hotel is in a horrible location for noise pollution. It is set back from the main highway, yes, but there is a small road behind where semi/construction trucks drive non-stop. Nonsmoking rooms smelled like smoke due to being allowed to smoke anywhere outside and there not being solid insulation around the door since there were visible gaps. When reaching out to management about smoking issue, they said nothing could be done, even though they are in charge of the property. Neighbor was smoking with their door propped open, but best they could do is possibly charge them for that, if they are caught, which did nothing for us at the time. For our inconvenience, he did offer us a small percentage off, but we would gladly pay full price for a good hotel than a discount for a bad one. However, we are thankful something was done at least.

    3
    « reservations not specified »

This motel did not read the comments that were stated in the reservation and we had to change rooms three times to even try to get a good nights sleep. The clerk did not read the reservation so we had to move to the first floor that was requested in the reservation. That room had a water link when you took a bath and the floor was soaked and then finally in the rain we moved to another room.

    5
    « Renovated »

Newly renovated. The checkin area has an iMac for guest use. The doors use proximity cards. The bedside lights are led with both wall sconces and reading spot lights. Easy to access electrical outlets above the side table. Room was odour free. WiFi worked well. Guests were enjoying the pool (I didn't check it out).

    5
    « Very nice »

Definitely would stay here again. Everything was excellent. Room was very comfortable and clean. Everything was in working order, WIFI worked great, the breakfast was very nice, lots of choices. The location was easy access for us to continue on our trip.

« Best Western in Franklin »

NIce, clean hotel just off I-65 in Franklin Tennessee. Easy to get to off the Interstate, plenty of places to eat in the area. Rooms are good sized and comfortable. Breakfast area is larg enough and food is good and plentiful.

    5
    « summer trip »

I would recommend this hotel to anyone traveling north or south on i65. we will be stating there annually on our family trip from Florida to Pennsylvania. the staff and service was great and the selection at breakfast was especially large.

    3
    « Clean »

Very clean comfortable bed. Difficult parking secondary to trucks from workers staying there. Felt uncomfortable coming in after dark due to number of men outside talking. Had to park away from room due the commercial vehicles

    5
    « Overnight stay »

Very nice. Close to mall and eating. Stayed here and drove to Nashville TN for concert. The room was very clean, only complaint was no microwave, but only stayed one night so not such a big deal. Bed was very comfortable. Very quiet. Would recommend to anyone. Pool was very clean. Nice atmosphere.

« Excellent experience with booking and results. »

« Civil War happened all around here. »

Older property, but fairly well cared for. Outdoor pool. No hot tub. The single king room we had is one of the smallest rooms I have been in. But it worked. Clean. Musty smell when first opened door. No elevator. No microwave oven..? Makes you wonder how often(if ever) the filters in these a/c units are changed. Comfortable beds and 'more pillows'. My GPS didn't want to find this place. Franklin is a nice walking city. Lots of history from Civil War. Lots of nice shops too. Has a hot breakfast, pancakes, toast, bagels, oatmeal, etc. The lady that runs the breakfast is very friendly and helpful. BTW the guest laundry is 6 dollars to wash and dry.

    4
« Would stay here again »

Convenient to downtown Franklin and to I-65, this motel was clean and comfortable. We were able to park close to the stairs for our upstairs room. Our room (218) shared a wall with the fitness room and we (for a very short time) could hear activity in that area. This was in the late afternoon, not at night when we were trying to sleep; this was no problem for us but could be something to consider when booking a room. This room met all of our needs for a short stay. There was in-room coffee, ironing board/iron, hairdryer, soap, lotion, and shampoo in wall mounted dispensers, wi-fi and plenty of charging stations for phones/laptops. The standard free breakfast was available in the building where you check-in.

    4
« Fully adequate roadside motel »

Exterior entranced motel convenient to Franklin downtown and Dark Horse Institute. Grounds in very good condition: playground and pool looked very inviting. Staff was courteous. Room was adequate for this price, good internet, comfortable bed, clean and usable bathroom. I would stay here again.

    2
    « Stopped in Franklin »

While traveling from Florida to the St Louis area we decided to stop in Franklin for the night to visit a couple of historical sites the next day. The room was somewhat cramped and did not have a place to set up a laptop. It had a table but no chair(s). The bathroom was very small and while they had towels near the shower the wash cloths were out by the sink! If you want a dark room, don't stay here! I could not get the drapes to block out the light from outside. Also, all around the property there were bags of trash everywhere, some were ripped and spilling over. Never again!

    5
« Great value convenient to Nashville »

We stayed here because we had an event in Nashville and friends in Franklin. Very convenient - only 20 minutes of easy interstate driving. The hotel has friendly staff and great amenities: outdoor pool, kids playground, fitness room, free wifi and flat screen tv, frig in the room. Breakfast room can get crowded in the morning and free breakfast is standard. The room was clean and the bed comfortable Plenty of restaurants, gas and shopping nearby.

    5
    « Great place »

This is a great place to stay if you are looking for something in the Franklin area. The front desk clerk was great and answered every question I had. The beds were very comfortable and the AC was very cold. There are several restaurants close by and there are more within 10 minutes of the hotel

    5
« Great motel for the price »

Outstanding customer service. Nicely updated rooms and the free breakfast was great. They were redoing the parking lot but there really was no inconvience. We stayed in a double occupancy room that was roomy.

    5
    « Our Stay »

We had a great stay in Franklin, people and staff were great. Lots to do in the area. Pool was great and clean, kids used it all the time. In close proximity to numerous places the eat, including a Publix grocery store that permitted people to eat something other than restaurant food daily

    4
    « My experience »

I would recommend this place for it being a Motel it wasn't bad at all. Place was being remodeled while there and rooms were getting upgraded but mine was not. Only complaint is pool needs to be drained and cleaned and the cleaning staff needs to make sure rags don't smell and water is refreshed after each room I could smell that odor of a smelly rag.

    5
« great hotel for the price »

although it has an outside door like the older hotels ,the inside is as nice as I have seen, very clean with all the modern amenities, huge modern t.v,. confortable beds , what more can you ask for except the shower head was so high my wife couldn't reach it to adjust it but other than that I would use this hotel again , breakfast was good and hot .

« Excellent Experience with Very Good Service! »

We've stayed at this Franklin,TN Best Western many times over the years and we've never been disappointed. It's a great location just south of Nashville and has quick, easy access from the Interstate highway. Many restaurants are nearby too. Many times we are pulling our little motorcycle trailer and the parking always works out! During our last visit, we were greeted by and checked in by Nick who went above and beyond to assist us with parking in a safe, secure location. He even moved his own vehicle to make room for our SUV/Trailer! Guest rooms are really nice and updated to very contemporary style. Much fancier than most hotels in this price range! Always a good place to stay. Dependable, neat and clean with a very good staff.

    5
« Great room for the price »

The rooms were newly redecorated, clean and comfortable. I really appreciated the playground and outside gated pool for my kids. There were plenty of working ice machines. I hated we only had the room for one night. It's the best night sleep I've ever had in a motel. It is located near plenty of restaurants, gas stations and stores, and is minutes from I-65, yet the rooms are quiet.

    5
    « A great place to stay! »

Check in was efficient and the staff very pleasant. The room was very clean without the usual hotel smell of air sanitizer. The bed was comfortable and the room quiet. A+. Internet was fast and parking was plentiful.

    « Love Franklin »

Downtown is an absolute must. Great walking to shop and dinner at the Red Pony after lunch at the Pub was a delightful experience. Both great eateries. Staying outside of town is not a problem - parking downtown was not a problem.

    « Not the best »

We made a short trip to Nashville/Franklin and stayed here four nights. The good: reasonable price, breakfast, clean, friendly staff. The bad: Air conditioning did not work properly. Room was cool, but the unit failed to remove the humidity. We brought this to their attention. Maintenance came, but no change. Our clothing and bed sheets felt damp the whole time. It was uncomfortable sleeping. Not adequate parking. If we returned to the area, we would stay elsewhere.

    3
« smoke vs smoke free room »

I guess when I reserved 2 rooms on their website I chose smoking rooms. When we arrived I told him I needed non-smoking. he said he could do that but it cost $10 more????? we did that but when we got to our rooms they were obviously smoking rooms. The smell was horrible. We called the office and he did apologize and put us in other rooms, which were fine. I don't understand why a smoke-free room costs more. You'd think there would be less up keep on a smoke free room.

    4
« Nice cool and calm »

Stayed two nights in Franklin Inn and was very pleasantly surprised by the facilities. The room was just the right size and it was very clean. I had a room facing Publix so it was not noisy. Breakfast was decent. Very good value for the money.

    « Great »

I loved the room and the staff the only thing that I did not like was the location of the property right off the interstate. The front entrance is not the best route to take into the property, but the back entrance is very functional. Will definitely stay at this hotel in the future and recommend to others to use as well.

This hotel is right off I65 south of Nashville on the outskirts of Franklin, TN. It is a terrific value for the price. They have a pancake machine that made our grandson extremely happy. The pool is out of doors and very clean and nice chairs and lots of seating. They have a meeting room that looked very nice and have a couple of computers in the lobby for guest use.

The Best Western in Franklin, TN is a great place to stay. We ended up staying two nights, not planned. It is an older hotel, however they have added any upgrades. Rooms were super clean. I love the lighting in the rooms by the beds. Great place to stay!

    « Interview »

Very nice, I was impressed. It was very easy to find and easy access in and out. Very comfortable bed and room was very pleasing to the eye. I would stay at a Best Western again. The clerk was very nice and made everyone feel important.

« Great place, really convenient »

The manager was very accommodating, the check in staff was very friendly and helpful, the room was well appointed and comfortable. While I didn't make use of them, the pool was sparkling clean and tbe workkuout room looked well maintained. Only one inconvenience: the liquid soap dispensers disperse scant amounts of soap and you'll build your muscles pumping the soap :)

« Senior Basketball Tournament in Franklin »

Very comfortable room a convenient to downtown and sports venue! Just off the interstate and not far from food and shopping! I highly recommend these accommodations! Also just down the road from Nashville...would stay here and drive into the Home of Country Music!

« Great little family spot »

We stayed here passing through so we could visit family. The kid playground was wonderful and made up for not getting to swim due to a bad storm. Planned on eating next door at Waffle House so didn't take advantage of the breakfast. The check out clerk didn't want us to go hungry so she sent us with Bottles of water and granola bars. Definitely a sweet thing and unexpected to do. If you stay in the south expect Southern hospitality. If we ever come back through we will definitely be staying here.

    4
« Best breakfast I've had at a Best Western »

Motel is off a busy road hard to get in and out of. Found out late it is easier to go out the back of the parking lot and on the side street. Parking was limited and we wound up in the back lot. But the breakfast was terrific. Rooms were clean, comfortable and quiet

    4
    « Solid »

Outdoor pool was nice and had a large deck around the pool making it an enjoyable place to sit, relax, and watch the kids swim. Room smelled slightly musty but I wouldn't consider it a problem -- it was extremely hot and humid while we were there and there was probably nothing to be done about it. Very nice staff, rooms very clean and beds comfy. Cool pancake machine made darned good pancakes in the morning. Overall, a solid hotel which suited our needs during an overnight stay on our roadtrip.

  • 4
« Nice place to stay »

We stayed here and had a really nice overnight visit. Our room was clean and we had a nice big TV. We used the ice machine and there was a small coffee maker in the room. It was nice and quiet over night. There is a great Mexican restaurant for dinner on the same street. The included breakfast was just right.

    5

Just passing through on our way to Florida. Had one room left, we got it. Nice staff, great hot breakfast, breakfast attendant made sure food stayed stocked and tables stayed clean, remodeled, clean room (can you tell I am very picky about places being clean. And trust me, I read reviews before I book), microwave, fridge, air conditioning. Would definitely stay here again!

« Nice for the price »

I chose this Inn for it's location near where my family lives in Franklin. It is extremely easy to find coming from airport and is located near a lot of shopping areas. I learned my way around quickly from a quick visit (this time only) through the lovely, historic town, to Whole Foods, which is not far and some fun thrift store shopping! It is also easy to get to Nashville or Grand Ole Opry as well. The staff was very nice. I arrived quite early and pretty much knew I could not check in, they offered me breakfast. My room was nice, looking out to pool. My room was clean with the fridge up and running. Nice tv and comfy bed. I like that they have soap dispenser for washing hands and lotion, but bar soap also available. There was also the standard hair dryer and coffee maker. It is a 2 level building with steps. I'm sure their is an elevator, but I did not use it. There is a small gym. I did not get a chance to use the pool but it looked quite inviting on the hot days I was there. There is a nice looking playground for kids, but it really needs some shade. A few nice canopies in the area would be nice. The free breakfas was excellent. Nice variety and everything was hot or cold as it was supposed to be. The lady attending to the food was very, very friendly and helpful. Aside from needing some shade in the playground area, the only other "minuses" I have are the slow Internet speed and the parking can be horrendous if you do not get back to the room early. There is a lot of wasted space in the center area where they could add additional lines. Instead people park along the curb or haphazardly wherever they want. To exit the property it is much easier to go out the backway past the Starbucks. There is a light there for easier access when the roads are busy.

« Great location. Great Stay »

We had two rooms which had recently been remodeled. Very nice. Great location. Best breakfast we've had in a motel. Will definitely stay there again when in the area. I even left my glasses and they were very helpful in getting them to me.

    « Great Hotel »

The remodel of the room we stayed in was great. The bed was comfortable and the decor was stylish. Breakfast ends at 9 during the week and 10 on weekend. (only draw back is it was not until 10 during the week) I will stay here again the next time I am in Franklin, TN. EXCELLENT HOTEL!

« My granddaughters high school graduation is why we went there. »

It was perfect for us because of the convient location. Rooms are small but the overall hotel was perfect. The breakfast was super duper every morning. Great coffee. The employees were great and very helpful. Close to Historic downtown Franklin. Must go there. Very nice for familys.

    « Wow was I surprised »

First of all, this place is horrific to get into the highway in front of it was packed and I had to drive around and come in on a back street. There is no elevator, it's a two story hotel, luckily I was able to get a ground floor room. That being said, the room is clean, but the refrigerator doesn't work, there is no microwave, and the AC is had only one setting ARTIC. I would have left and moved on, but today traffic was really bad, looks like the entire Southeast is moving somewhere and I was afraid I'd not find another space within another 2-hour drive. Usually Best Western's are good places, but this one is old and worn-out.

« Stopped late on Friday Night with no reservations. »

We had to take an unexpected road trip, we stopped late on a Friday night, we were able to get a room with no problem and at a decent rate. We were put on the very back side of the hotel, which was a little creepy to me since I had never been there before and was uncertain about the safety factor, but our room was very nice, the breakfast was good the next morning and we enjoyed our stay and slept well that night. We would stay here again.

« Nice Place to Stay »

Clean and inviting hotel near to family and the graduation site. All staff were friendly and helpful. The breakfast was good-area was clean and well stocked. Everyone was helpful and friendly-great way to start the day. The pool and play area are very inviting. Close to PUBLIX grocery store, Planet Fitness, Red Dog Fine Wines and other shops and eateries. Very close to the I65 expressway for easy on/off for travel to Nashville and back home.

Very nice hotel. Love being able to park close to room. Excellent breakfast with fresh made pancakes, biscuits, gravy etc. I would highly recommend. Convenient to shopping, restaurants and highway access.

    « Great stay »

The Best Western in Franklin is a great place to stay. It is an older building that has been updated. The room was clean and the bed was very comfortable. I would recommend staying here if you are needing a place in the Franklin, Tn area.

« Best Western Franklin, Tn »

Well located hotel just 2 miles from Historic Downtown Clean room, comfortable bed, friendly staff But they wanted an extra $20 to check in early, so we did not. Nice big TV Free Parking Good Internet

    « Very nice »

The hotel grounds were very clean. The staff was very nice. My room is really clean. The location of the hotel was right off the freeway very convenient For traveling into the city. I would recommend people staying.

    « Good clean room »

We had a good experience here. Convenient location, walking distance to a wide variety of restaurants, clean & quiet room. The breakfast was a little subpar - stale pastries, ran out of OJ, etc. otherwise all good.

    « Almost A Five Star BuT!!!!!! »

Every thing about the room was everything everyone said. The help is wonderful from the front desk to the staff in the breakfast area!!! Mary is wonderful!!! And so is the gentleman that did the cooking. The front desk was pleasant and so helpful!!!!! ONE BIG Problem........My room had cockroaches. This made me ill. I realize this can happen but it ruined my entire stay. The front desk was very apologetic and gave us a new room. But I figured if one room had them they probably all did. We were moved down a few rooms over and either one was in my bag, (yuk) but we did see another. I kept the drain closed the whole time and never saw another. My complaint was I felt that day stay should have been reimbursed for our inconvenience at least for the one day that we were in The staff , the breakfast, the location and even the room was clean. But Roaches!!!!! I felt bad because they were wonderful people. But a discount or reimbursement would have been appropriate. I really was very nervous because I had heard you can bring them home with you.........I pray not!

    « A wonderful vacation »

The Best Western Franklin Inn is a great place to stay when in the area. Room was clean, king bed was comfortable, breakfast was scrumptious, and staff was courteous. We will be back for another visit soon! Thank you!

« Nice Best Western Hotel »

Clean comfortable rooms and a decent breakfast/reasonable priced for the area! I would definitely return here on business! Hotel staff was friendly and went out of their way to make you feel wanted! Even though hotel was busy I was able to get some rest during night hours!

    « Scalping room prices »

If you think that $150 per night is OK for a run of the mill, outside entrance motel, then this is the place for you. There happened to be a regional soccer event taking place and rooms were at a premium, so management here told us on the phone this was the "last available" room but we observed several people checking in after us. I don't think this is the way to do business. I won't go back there again.

    3
    « Family Visit »

Frequent Best Western stays but found room service to be lacking, especially when returning late at night to find room had not been cleaned and no towels available. Problem was fixed when brought to the attention of the front desk.

    2
    « Less than good »

This hotel is below average for their price range. The room was adequate but not the cleanest. Breakfast was average. We stayed on a Saturday night and the hotel was full. Needless to say it was quite noisy. It is close to the expressway and fairly close to downtown Franklin. I would not choose this hotel again if we were in the area.

    5
    « Very Nice Stay »

Best Western Franklin Inn, Franklin, Tennessee was one of the best places we have stayed. I would recommend anyone to your establishment. The beds were very comfortable, and clean. We couldn't have asked for any better service from the staff.

    1
« LOUD LOUD Guests & DIRTY ROOMS! »

Upon checkin we received smoking room which I didn't want, I felt totally unsafe off in the side building with partiers all around....yelling screaming all night. This place sucks beyond belief and I am scared for my safety.

    5
    « Convenient to Everything »

This hotel is convenient to everything. Clean and priced just right. Staff wonderful to work with. Room was clean and spacious. Close to a lot of eateries and downtown Franklin. Easy access to the interstate.

    2
« Not the "best" Western »

Hotel was average, not a fan of the outdoor rooms( very old school to me). Even though it was almost 80 degrees, the pool was closed.... even though it was open as we saw and being cleaned. Fitness area apparently closed as well.

    5
« Great stay great price »

Stay was great. Rooms were clean, staff was friendly, location was great. We had lots of things to do around us and was close to Nashville but did not have to stay right in town. Rooms were very nice and clean. Will definitely book here again!

« Clean, comfortable and top notch customer service! »

I stayed in this hotel a various times and it is my favorite in the area. Rooms are comfortable, clean and recently renovated with new furniture, large screen TV, carpet etc. This particular stay I made an error making my reservation and Nick went above and beyond to correct my mistake even though the hotel was fully booked. It is nice to see this hotel truly cares about its customers, thank you Nick great job, I will surely be back!

    « Nice and easy »

Quick and easy check-in process. Rooms were clean and everything was in order. We were there when the property was sold out so the parking lot was full on the nights we got back to the room late. We did find a spot along the curb right across from our room. Breakfast was good with cereal, toast, muffins, oatmeal, yogurt, boiled eggs and fruit cups. They also have a pancake machine and hot items including scrambled eggs, sausage, biscuits, and gravy. Even with the property being sold out, the room was quiet, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom was clean. Location is close to lots of food places and Starbucks is right behind the building and within walking distance.

« Not called BEST Western for nothing »

Excellent accommodations, friendly staff, very comfortable bed, and HUGE TV...thought I was at the Drive-In...hahhaa.. very close to any amenities you may need.I would recommend this hotel in a heartbeat.

    « Not great »

I stay in a lot of hotels throughout the year. I stayed here because I had a late flight and would be going to a new hotel the next day, and this hotel was a few minutes from my morning meeting in Franklin. This is what you think of as a road-side motel. The room was too small-- about half the size of a regular hotel room. The bed was a queen. Maybe that's what I booked by mistake but it made the room feel even smaller. There was no parking near my room and people hanging out outside of their rooms so I had to park near the office to be in a more lit area. The sink didn't drain well. The room just didn't feel clean overall. I paid way too much for this room for what I got. I do not recommend.

    « Happy We Stayed »

Great stay. One of the nicest BW Motor Inns. Felt safe. Very clean room. Obviously some recent renovations (except the light in the bathroom needed either a good cleaning or replacing). Microwave and refrigerator in the room, even though the website said refrigerator only. Very busy area, but most rooms are set back so the room was very quiet. Very large king room. Friendly check in - very helpful. Not a fan of wall soap & shampoo, but a small bar of soap was provided for the face. We come through this area about once a year and definitely plan on staying again

    4
« Good location, though noisy at times »

If you face the front, you will hear noise from the main road. Not unbearable though. The hotel itself is nice, just not great. The breakfast is marginal, could definitely use some more hot foods. Clean, safe, very well-lit and OK for a short stay. I'd come back if staying in the area.

    4
    « Best Western Worth a Try »

The room was very neat and the staff was helpful. The breakfast had everything you would want which was nore than I expected. The bes was very comfy but the pillow choice left something to be desired. I use a memory foam pillow at home so I'm probably spoiled. The bathroom had some dirt near the edges but overall the room was perfect.

« Wish We Had Stayed Elsewhere »

We just needed a place to rest our heads for an evening during a recent spring break roadtrip and noticed that this hotel had good rates and a relatively decent rating. Kind of wish we had picked another hotel. We had booked a non-smoking room but the moment I walked in the room I could tell that either this was previously a smoking room or the smoke had seriously permeated from the floor below since the room directly below us was smoking. I went to speak with the front-desk clerk and he was kind enough to switch us to a different room. The 2nd room still had an odor to it but not nearly as bad as the first. What I didn't notice until I went to bed was that the floor by the side of the bed that shared the wall with the bathroom was all wet. I don't know if a previous guest flooded the bathroom and it seeped through the wall and into the carpet but it was pretty well soaked. I again told the front desk clerk but by this time my family was nearly asleep and it wasn't worth the hassle to move to yet another new room. Then, during the middle of the night, my wife and I felt a bit warm so I went to turn on the AC and the room filled with a strong odor of urine. I thought it was just me at first in my groggy state but my wife noticed it too and said something. It was really bizarre. I have no idea how that could've happened but the AC got shut off really quick after that. In the end, I wish we would've spent a bit more for a nicer place.

    3
« No soap, shampoo, tissue, AC too loud »

No soap, shampoo, or tissue in our room. Since it was late, and we were tired, we didn't call the office to request those items and instead used our own. AC very loud. Outside security light shown thrown curtains, making room too bright to sleep. Good breakfast, friendly staff, easy access to interstate.

    4
    « Impromtu Nashville weekend »

Property looks old from the outside. Pleasantly surprised with room interior. It had a modern look. More importantly, it was clean. There were not abundance of parking spaces on the backside of property. We came in late both nights and had to improvise parking. Location is excellent!

    4
    « Great Upgrade »

This motel is set in a building that I think of as a 50's style for motel - but done on a massive scale with over 140 rooms. Doors open to the outside on ground floor or balcony. The rooms have been very nicely upgraded and refurnished so inside the room feels comparable to any good mid price motel room. Bed was exceptionally comfortable. Room included a tub which I appreciate. No microwave, but did have refrigerator. Sparkling clean. Breakfast options were upscale (I was told that the sausage patties were just upgraded recently in response to visitor input). Eating area is in a separate building so it requires getting dressed before you go to breakfast. For those who prefer to not see others in their pajamas, this is an advantage.

    4
    « Return stay »

Have stayed at this BW many times and was always pleased. It has been remodeled and was a great upgrade. Will stay there in future. Very convenient to our business event and also to some great restaurants.

« Really good deal for your money »

It is a really good option for the price. It is kind of far from Nashville area or the airport but it is a really good option to choose. We stayed there 3 nights and it was good. They have free breakfast which is not the best but it is good to have something to eat in the morning without having to pay more money. The room was clean and the front desk employees were very kind. Just be aware that in these days the rooms in the first floor could be a little colder that the others in the second floor.

    4
    « Easy on & easy off! »

Very friendly staff! The lobby area was extremely attractive and clean. Very comfortable bed with lots of comfy pillows. Our room looked freshly painted. At check out I was actually asked how my stay with them was...that doesn't happen ver often.

    3
    « Average »

Didn't look very appealing from the outside. Parking wasn't good. The room didn't smell the greatest but it was clean. Breakfast was convenient and was good. The iron didn't work which they replaced very quickly. Asked for additional towels and was told had to go to the front desk to get them. They wouldn't bring them.

    5
    « Good stay »

Very clean room . Been recently updated very good breakfast . Very friendly and helpful staff . I left a card with s check in it for my sons graduation and by mistake placed it in a trash an at breakfast. On my way to the ceremony I received a call fromBW. They had retrieved my card with a 500 dollar check in it and held it for me. So happy about that service!

    3
« Great staff- small rooms »

All staff I had to interact with was great- courteous and helpful. The room was clean but small and in need of updating. Also do not care for how shampoo, shower gel, soap, etc. is provided- via bulk dispensers.

    5
    « Nice Updates! »

The updates to the motel are very well done. The lobby was done exceptionally well. It is apparent that they are putting great effort into updating this hotel. Access to the hotel from the interstate was convenient. Glad we stayed here!

    3
    « Pilgrimage Festival »

Nice enough property for our needs. We stayed at the festival most of the time so it was to sleep/shower. On a busy street but traffic sound not bad. Looks like some recent upgrades had been done Didn't go to the breakfast (that was included). Staff was very helpful.

    5
    « Update to rooms! »

Very clean rooms, granite counter top in bathroom, new carpet, new furniture, refrigerator, and lighting. Breakfast is average, but for the price of the room, can't expect a gourmet quality spread. Easy access to rooms on first floor as you can drive right up to the door with outside entrance.

    4
    « Newly renovated rooms »

Passing through. Our room (212) had new carpet, new painted walls, new furniture, very clean, comfortable bed, huge flat screen tv, great bright lights in the room, great water pressure in the shower.

    « Comfortable Beds / Clean Rooms »

Our first visit to the Nashville / Franklin area. It happened to fall over a weekend with several "home" football games - translate "very expensive hotel rooms". We were going to spend a day touring Stones River Civil War site so Franklin was a perfect location. This Best Western is not fancy nor does it have large rooms. But it has been recently updated so the beds are comfortable and the room was clean. And I didn't have to pay over $200/night. Not fancy - but this trip was about the area and not the hotel. Worked perfect for our purpose.

    « Great location »

Great location for small town of Franklin TN and still close to Nashville.close to a very cool Main street town.visited places I've seen on tv. Pucketts grocery diner-Franklin Theatre. The Factory at Franklin.I talked to locals very pleasant people.

    4
    « Great Little Spot »

Was pleasantly surprised when I stayed here. Rooms are freshly painted and beds are comfortable. The only 2 comments that kept this from a 5 Star rating - 1 - they advertise as a pet free hotel and I saw several go into the rooms with pets and the bedside outlets did not work. Will stay here again!

    3
    « Overnight »

We just needed a quick place to stay on our way into Nashville. Comfortable, clean and convenient. It's probably not in the best part of town but it was in our price range. We did not have any issues while there. Easy access to many of the main highways. I'd recommend if you are on a budget.

    5
    « Very Clean »

Would recommend especially when saving money on a business trip. Very affordable in clean environment. We would stay there again. We even extended our nights to three. Breakfast was great and helped ease us into our day.

    4
« Great complimentary expanded breakfast »

Just got back from a 3 night family visit. This is a very large property, three two story buildings with seasonal pool and kids playground. Walking distance to stores, restaurants and Starbucks. Room was cozy but well appointed and recently updated. Very clean.

    3
    « Quite adequate »

The hotel is okay, reasonably quiet, and the breakfast was good. Our problem was that we booked through BW on Oct 27th 2016 and on Oct 28 this property cancelled their BW affiliation so when we arrived on Oct 30 there was no reservation. We had to pay the hotel directly to get a room. We are still trying to get a refund from BW for the first reservation. Our problem is unlikely to affect future travelers, but be aware that THIS HOTEL IS NO LONGER PART OF THE BW CHAIN.

    4
    « Good Place »

We took a trip from Northern Michigan to DC to Knoxville to Nashville to Indy then home and this was our fifth hotel of the trip. This was actually a motel which i prefer as we were able to pull up to our door. The room was very spacious, clean, and up to date. We stopped in early around 1pm to see if possible to check in and sure enough they had a lower room ready and was happy to offer it to us. What we didn't know until later that night was our neighbors had a young child that cried, the parents or adults liked to fight, and they went in and out with a loud banging door to smoke which all went on until around 2am. It was my fault for not reporting them and we did get to sleep eventually so this wasn't the hotels fault but beware if you have a through door to the next room and any activity outside the door can be heard as if the door was open. Because we slept in a little we missed breakfast so I can't report on that but when we checked out the gentleman behind the desk offered to get us something from the breakfast room which was a very nice offer. Over all for the price it was a good place to stay and if we're in the area again I would be happy to stay here.

    4
    « Nice Motel »

This was a nice Motel. It is clean, room was comfortable. The bed was very comfortable and the pillows were great. Strong shower pressure which we like! Breakfast had a great selection and comfortable eating area. Would stay here again when in the area.

« Very nice and reasonable »

We stayed here November 2nd after finishing the natchez trace. Reviews were good. Very nice hotel and the rooms are great. Very modern. Rooms are pretty and beds comfortable. Very clean, large flat screens and reasonable rates. Nick at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. He told us when we eat at Shoneys you get a 15% discount staying at best western. Definitely a very nice place to stay when you are passing thru franklin.

    4
« Good rate and access »

The hotel rooms have been updated and the wifi is fast. They are located right off the freeway and there are several restaurants within walking distance. There is some noise from the freeway but if you stay on the backside of the hotel you can't hear it.

    « Franklin Trip »

We really enjoyed being able to visit Civil war sites that are located in the Franklin area. They were very interesting and the guides were very knowledgeable. We would definitely recommend including Franklin if you are planning a trip to the Nashville area.

    5
    « Very Pleased »

Our room was quite, clean and the beds were exceptionally comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful and the price was very reasonable. Convenient location. Short drive @2.5 miles into old Franklin which is charming with lots of restaurants and shops.

    « Will Stay Again »

Booked through Hotels.com - and called Hotels.com to make a change. Hotels.com did NOT make the change as requested however, the staff at Best Western - Franklin went above and beyond to correct the mistake and make sure our stay was a good one. Our room was very clean and comfortable. Although I did not partake of breakfast the next morning - others in our group did and proclaimed it to be very good.

    « Most Accommodating Hotel »

I have only good things to say about this hotel. Somehow, I received a smoking room; not sure whose fault it was. But once I reported the issue, even tho they were sold out, they asked each check-in until they found someone who needed a smoking room. Within the hour, I was in a non-smoking room. Great service, clean rooms, definitely recommend!!

    5
    « Excellent hotel »

Staff was friendly and cordial, room was very clean, internet was fast, morning staff was good, bed was comfortable. Only two minor items could have been better which were the scrambled eggs were too and so was the gravy. Everything else was superb. I would recommend this hotel.

    « A hidden diamond! »

Want a great stay, reasonably priced at a perfect location for everything? This is the place for you! Great shopping nearby, convenient to the interstate to get in and out of Nashville...clean, friendly! I stay here during every visit.

    3
    « Clean Room »

The room was large clean and looked newly decorated, the bed was comfy and I would have got a good nights sleep if the AC had not been so noisy. There is plenty of car parking so much so it would appear some trucks use the back car park as a rest over stop. The breakfast bar had a good choice of food and there was plenty of seating some of it in the next room.

    1
    « reserving a room a waste of time »

I reserved a room 2 months in advance and when arrived was given a different type of room [was told this was all that was available) overlooking a pile of trash that remained there the entire 3 night stay. Rooms looked newly redecorated but chairs and bedspreads had stains. Has soap, lotion, shampoo and shower gel dispensers rather than individual bottles to save money. Shower gel gave a drop at a time and to wash you had to pump 10 or more times. Next time I stay at a BW I will bring a cake of soap. Breakfast usual motel OK, but very crowded.

    5
« Simply the Best Hotel »

This is the best of the best. Staff, service, price, I mean everything was perfect. The room was extremely nice, ample parking, close to Nashville without the big price. A breakfast bar that would put many restaurants' to shame. A define stay here with kudos to management and the lady on the front desk named Arianna. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Tennessee. Thank you!

« Great value, use the coupon »

My husband and I are doing a late fall road trip along the Natchez Trace Parkway. We spent the night in Franklin, TN before setting out on our adventure. We used a coupon from HotelCoupon.com and got a great rate. The room was just remodeled and very clean the area was very quiet, but lots of restaurants and two grocery stores within walking distance. The free breakfast was great. scrambled or boiled eggs, sausage links, biscuits and gravy, pancakes, plus the usual cereals and yogurt assortment. All in all, a great choice.

    « Great value »

The staff was very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and beds comfortable. Breakfast was very good. Good location from interstate and Franklin. We used the back way out when leaving. It was much easier to get in and out.

    « Never Again »

I was very displeased with the staff. The person that checked me in was very rude. I was unable to check in and the person was not understanding at all. Sometimes your tone and attitude speaks volumes. I will never stay at another Best Western Hotel again and I will be sure not to recommend anyone to stay there as well. Lesson learned.

    3
« clean room, comfortable bed »

The room was clean, but you can see light under the door (bugs, mice?). Mattress was comfy, A/C worked fine. Recent renovation helps. Stayed three nights, breakfast was the same every day and limited in choices.

    2
« Disappointed in this BW »

Even though I reserved the room for 3 people, there were only 2 washcloths provided. The room was very small. I realize that I had earned a free night's stay, but it was the smallest Best Western room I ever stayed in. It did not feel like much of a reward, especially when I learned how dirty the carpet was. My feet were black after walking a minimal amount on the carpet - that is also something I have not experienced with Best Western before either.

    5
« Do not know what this is. »

As stated earlier, we were very pleased with everything during our stay at Best Western. Deborah was very helpful and gave us directions to restaurants, shopping interests and how to safely navigate the traffic in the area.

    3
« Best value for the area. »

Room was decent. Mattress not great. No noise from adjoining rooms. Tons of noise from parking lot that made sleeping difficult. Breakfast was much better than I expected from a Best Western. Compared to the prices of the other hotels in the area, it was a steal. I like the option of having a single queen bed for a lower price. Staff was very friendly and helpful. I would stay there again.

    5
« Excellent value and experience! »

We have never been to the Franklin area and were clueless as to where to stay. We chose the BW based on reviews on TripAdvisor and the cost. I admit, I was a little nervous - good price sometimes equals not so good quality or cleanliness. We were so happy when we arrived and saw that the room was nicely decorated and so, so, so clean! Really - probably one of the cleanest hotel rooms we have ever stayed in. We will certainly stay at the BW Franklin Inn again if we return to the area.

    5
    « Excellent stay »

We were on our way to a cousin's funeral in Alabama and stayed one night at the BW Franklin,Tn. They honored our discount coupon from state's travel rest areas. The hotel staff was very pleasant, courteous and helpful. Since our last stay there over a year or two ago, they have updated the motel and everything from hotel reception/lobby area to the interior of the rooms were clean and tastefully decorated. The room was spacious enough and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast had hot items and provided enough choices. We were very pleased overall with the experience and would definitely stay here again.

« Good value for the price »

Room was clean (a bit worn in places) and the staff was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was pretty good with several options of cold and hot items. We were very satisfied with our experience. Motel was situated right off the interstate in a busy part of town so plenty of options for food and entertainment. The main entrance was difficult to enter and exit from on a multi-lane road but there was a back entrance that exited on a side road with a stop light!

    « Worst Experience Ever »

Horrible customer service, housekeeping will barge into your room without knocking, an hour and a half before checkout, and then come back half an hour later -- and the cable doesn't work. When you try to talk to the manager about these issues, they will absolutely not correct the situation. I will never stay here again. This was an awful experience.

    4
    « Convenient »

This hotel was a convenient place to spend the night on our car trip to the South. It was clean, nicely decorated, and a good value. You were within walking distance of several restaurants and close to the freeway. Although, we chose to drive into the town of Franklin which was near and had dinner there. The historic town had many eateries and stores. We wished we would have arrived earlier to enjoy some of the shops. The hotel's price included breakfast. Staff were helpful.

    « Great Value »

Great Value ... Great staff... New room appointments with first class feel to everything. I would stay here again if in the area. Loved the pancake maker in the breakfast room. Warm, fun and unique. it was a wonderful place to stay.

    « Good Value »

The beds were comfortable and clean. The breakfast had a nice variety. There was only a 10 minute drive to the Carnton Plantation. Access to and from Expressway was very close. The only one disappointment we had was that we booked one of the last rooms, and therefore got a smoking room. We didn't realize how terrible it would smell

« Wouldn't go back even if it was FREE »

Terrible rooms, service and overall experience. The area has many other options for hotels. The staff was rude and they completely messed up our rooms. My room smelled and was completely outdated. DO NOT STAY HERE.

« Hidden Gem in Franklin, TN »

Great overall experience. The staff was very friendly and helpful! Location was great for getting to trade show and attractions. Had all the amenities we needed for our stay. The town of Franklin is a hidden gem....great shops and restaurants.

« Great Place to Stay! »

Rooms are renovated, convenient to interstate and amenities. Front desk staff are friendly, especially Nick, who goes out of his way to ensure a guest is happy. Breakfast is great. The location is perfect; near Nashville and near several restaurants. Overall this stay as with all stays was great. I am in town for business and only use this hotel and would strongly recommend it to my friends and family.

    « Surprisingly good! »

This is a well-managed, freshly remodeled motel offering an exceptional value in a higher-priced area of of Nashville. Don't let the rate fool you - new carpet, new bedding, and conscientious employees, Will definitely stay again.

« Pleasant one night stay. »

Check in was no problem. On entering room #106, the A/C was on-temp 66-with television on. The A/c was turned off, while I had no control over the tv. I was moved to #107, which was larger. A soft & comfortable king with five 3/4 pillows. Two night stands with lamp each. A flat screen sits atop a three drawer chest. Writing desk & swivel chair. Carpet for bedroom area, with tile by room's door, sink & bathroom. Shower/tub, with hot water for shower in nine seconds. No small bottles for shampoo. lotion or conditioner. Instead large wall mounted dispensing bottles. The shower head is high, with a short guest possibly having problems reaching the head. Was unable to tell if the head was adjustable. Sink counter is large, with matching mirror. Plenty of towels. Tile & carpet felt clean. M/F. Iron & board. No closet, instead a wall rack with eight wooden hangers. The hair dryer was located on the rack's shelf. Coffee maker on sink counter. Usable electrical outlets are located on the writing desk, one night stand & bathroom. Breakfast is 6:30-10:00. This B.W. had the smallest breakfast area of five I recently encountered. Seating is eight tables-four chairs each-along with eating counter & five tall stools. Steamers for scrambled eggs, biscuits & gravy, sausage. Three dry cereals. Bowl of apples. Pasties, muffins, donuts & bread. Apple, orange & cranberry juices. Shelled hard boiled eggs. Small containers of mixed fruit. Wall mounted flat screen for morning news. A good starter breakfast. I recommend arriving early as possible. Also one waffle maker. Plenty of parking. This is a two floor facility, NO elevator. All rooms open to the lot. The front desk & breakfast area-located in the building-are separated from the suites. If carrying heavy luggage call ahead in advance for a ground room. The facility has a fenced in pool & a kid's playground. Within a short walking distance are several restaurants & eating establishments-Starbucks, Shoney's, Waffle House, Wendy's, Bar-B-Cutie & Back Yard Burgers. The two staff members I dealt with were Nick-check in-& Deborah-check out & help with the guest computer. Both helpful, polite & friendly. Deborah informed me that the facility is under going major renovations-new bedding, carpet & furniture. I noticed that my sink's faucet had been replaced. I would stay again with no hesitation. Factors: location-less than two minutes from I-65-room's overall cleanliness, number of restaurants, polite & friendly staff & cost. The neighborhood was very quiet. Room #107 was on the back side of facility.

    « Pretty Nice! »

We stopped in Franklin on our way home from a football game in Alabama. We got there very late and stayed until checkout. I usually prefer to stay in the Plus hotels, but this place was great. The room was very clean and the area was surprisingly quiet. We slept through breakfast but the lobby area was nice. Good value!

« Great stay away from home »

The staff is very friendly and caring. The hotel was clean and there was plenty of food places to eat at close by. Everything from a sit down restaurant to fast food. Very quiet and peaceful here. We'll be back again on our next visit..

« night out in nashville, tn »

easy drive to nashville, tn , right by the interstate 65, only 22 minute drive, a little noise from the second floor by some guys with a few too many beers and not the best language but by 10pm it was over

    « Great Hotel »

They have just updated this hotel; new beds, furniture & carpet. Everything spotless & fresh. Everyone was helpful & friendly. The breakfast was good with nice variety to choose from. Hotel close to stores & restaurants & little over 2 mi. to downtown & to several attractions

    4
    « Location »

Located right off I65 with many places to dine. shop and refuel. Easy access to highway in continuing one's journey after an excellent hot breakfast at this recently remodeled inn. The hotel staff personnel were very courteous and helpful in checking us in in a very timely period, also when we checked out!

    3
« Take a Break from the Interstate »

If you're tired of being on the interstate, make a stop for the night at the Best Western Inn in Franklin Tenn. There are plenty of restaurants to choose from and plenty of shopping. Get a good night sleep on the comfy beds and off you go in the morning. Or spend a few days exploring the Franklin area since you have your hotel stay all set at the Best Western Inn!

    2
    « Sow's Ear »

It's been renovated with new beds, carpets, TVs and furniture. BUT the place is forever an old style motel with outside rooms and no elevators. The loud factory smell of the carpets will ultimately fade to mildew from the ac units, but it's pretty hard to comfortably control the indoor climate. For a hundred bucks the breakfast should be better and the shower should give you a nice strong spritz. I know they tried to update it, but it's not a Silk Purse!

    4
    « Clean room & affordable »

My Sister & our kids visited Franklin for a pre back-to-school trip & stayed at Best Western. The room was very clean & affordable. The front staff was friendly. The continental breakfast was good but the space to sit was limited. Great pancakes which is a biggie with me. The Cool Springs mall was just a short drive away. We would consider staying here again.

« 1 night stay at Best Western in Franklin, TN »

Traveling with 2 adult kids and their spouses, husband, and 3 grandkids. Average Motel type of facility. Staff friendly. Room clean. King Size bed a little uncomfortable, but worked.. Included typical breakfast-eggs not very warm though. Had a nice looking pool and play area for kids, but we were unable to use since it poured rain. Cheap rate, which we got on internet for $86.98. Called first but they quoted $143. Check-in and check-out a breeze.

    4
« Great location and value »

This hotel is located right off the freeway and has several restaurants within walking distance. Great price and the rooms are new. It looks like they have just updated everything and the rate was $30 less per night than most other hotels. Easy check in and check out. The beds are comfortable and the room was very clean. I used my AAA discount and got it for $70 per night.

    4
« good location fair price »

located just outside Nashville this hotel is a good stop at a better price than waiting till you get into town. It is only a seconds off the interstate and easy to get to plenty of eating locations. Bar B Cutie was a great place for some good food at a good price.

« Nice place to stay in Franklin »

An older hotel that is nicely renovated at a very reasonable price. This is my go to hotel in middle TN. The rooms are clean tastefully decorated and comfortable. What more do you want me to say? I like this place and I will return again.

    4
« Good for short stay »

Clean room, close to restaurants, gas station, etc. Easy on and off to Interstate 65. Wifi worked well and breakfast was fine. Perfect for a night or two while traveling. Well lighted parking lot and grounds were clean. Felt safe.

« Best Western stay In Franklin, TN »

Overall, room was clean and bed was very good. Plus they had a very good breakfast - good scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, bread, biscuit and gravy, cereal, fresh coffee, apples, etc. Check in clerk efficient abd pleasant. Checkout was easy and provided a statement upon request. I would recommend this hotel with four-stars. It was only $64.99 (with coupon) + tax. It is off I-65 Exit 65.

    4
    « Nice hotel »

    « Nice »

This was a nice, clean hotel. Rooms were good size and the beds were very comfortable. Pool area was very nice, clean and the water temp was just right. The breakfast was nice with many choices, the pancake maker was impressive. We stayed 3 days and would stay again if needed.

    « Overnight Stay »

I stayed one night with my dog. This was a good room for pets with the vinyl floors. The staff was very friendly and the room was very clean. I would stay here again the next time I have to stay in Franklin.

« No more searching for hotels. Best Western is the way to go. »

My trip was an emotional one. Funeral. Stayed in 2 other hotels and the Best Western in Franklin was by far the best. Wonderful accommodating employees. CLEAN ROOMS!!! Comfortable bed. Great breakfast. Pool and playground. Shoneys right next door. On and off the highway. Extremely pleased

    « Excellent value hotel »

We booked this hotel on an app while entering the state and it ended up being one of the best hotels of our entire trip. Newly remodeled rooms, friendly staff and fantastic breakfast for a very reasonable price. Better than staying in downtown Nashville!

    4
    « Good value »

Breakfast has decent options, both hot and cold. Rooms are good value, but nothing will strike you as high end although they did recently do a renovation and update there rooms. Towels are thin (fairly standard). Just good bang for your buck.

    4
    « Pleasure Trip »

Good price, We like to stay there when in Nashville, This motel is conviently located and has been upgraded in the last 3 years. We had stayed there in years past but it had become run down. they have really did a good job on their improvements

  • 4
    « Nice space »

I liked this hotel. The desk staff were helpful and engaging, the breakfast is standard fare. The room was kept clean and the housekeeping was good. And there's a pool. I'd easily recommend them. Of course it's an older building so there may be issues connected to that - but give 'em a go!

    4
    « Clean Accommodations »

We try to stay at this Best Western when we are in town for Dr. visits. It is very satisfactory for an overnight stay as the room and furnishings are always clean and the rate is reasonable. Staff are friendly and helpful and the breakfast is good. Very convenient to activities in Franklin or Cool Springs.

    4
    « A bit older, but nice »

This was a nice stay. For the building to be a bit older, you can definitely tell that the property was well cared for. The guest rooms were updated and look a bit more modern. The rooms were equipped with microfridge (which was nice and useful). The staff was very professional and friendly. I appreciate everyone's friendliness and the cleanliness of the room.

    5
    « Always consistent »

Stay here every year on our way to Florida from Wisconsin. It's kind of a tradition. Stop here, go to Waffle House (next door) and go to sleep. Always clean, friendly. It's a basic hotel nothing special but perfect for a one night stay. Good fast internet, great breakfast, friendly staff, reasonable price.

    3
    « Not bad »

Overall it didn't blow my socks off, but I didn't feel as if I was sleeping in a dirty room. As an overnight stay I was satisfied and again felt the cleanliness was good. Breakfast wasn't great, but again satisfactory. I did notice they were in the middle of renovating rooms.

    4
    « Great Value »

When I visited this hotel it was being updated with new carpets, furniture etc. so I do not know the final outcome. The staff was outstanding and made every effort to insure a pleasant stay. The biggest problem is getting to the hotel from the interstate as there is no turn lane into the property. The easiest way is to go to the traffic light and turn left, then turn left at the next light and come into the rear of the property. Watch out for the deeply sunk drainage grates in some areas.

    4
« Clean, Convenient, Pleasant Staff »

Great value. Clean rooms. Comfortable bed. Little in-room fridge was a nice bonus, which we used. Staff is pleasant, helpful and courteous. Convenient to I-65, Nashville, Franklin. Would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Delicious Breakfast »

This was a family weekend getaway. This hotel did not disappoint. The beds were comfortable, rooms were quiet and clean, and the full breakfast was delicious. Often, at other places, breakfast may be waffles or bagels. Eggs, sausage, biscuits, gravy, pancakes, and all that other stuff was offered and delicious. Great place at a good price.

    3
    « Good location »

This hotel is near the Franklin attractions and was fine for a short stay. It was an easy ride to Nashville also. The lamp bases were dusty, as were the cords for the electronics. There were boxes and carpet remnants on the stair landings. Kids ran up and down making noise on the walkway to the rooms. Someone threw what looked to be taco meat on the hood and windshield of my car. The hotel is in a great location in terms of grocery stores and restaurants. It met my needs, but probably would stay elsewhere next time. I'm not a fan of rooms that open directly to the outside.

    3
    « OK stay except for A/C »

The room was clean and bedding was comfortable, however even with the A/C temp set at 68 degrees, it never got cold in the room, which caused me not to sleep well. Other than that, it was a good stay.

« I'm sorry you have to spend the night in Franklin »

Why is lodging so expensive in Franklin, Tennessee? Room was OK; laminate floor was dirty--soles of feet were black after walking around on it. The whole point of laminate is it can be mopped and be cleaner than carpet. Full breakfast was very good; location very convenient to interstate and food options. Pet-friendly with plenty of good walking area. Good playground and pool. Staff were very friendly and helpful.

    5
« Great place to stay »

Excellent breakfast, good location (near restaurants and grocery). Our only problem was the strange feeling of tile floors in the guest rooms. Seems unusual. The pool and fitness area were well-maintained.

« Best Western Hotel in Franklin, Tennessee »

I was traveling with my granddaughter for a one week trip touring through West Virginia, Virginia, Tennessee, Kentucky and back to Ohio. I prefer staying at Best Western hotels whenever possible since I have always received excellent service and the staff is always very cordial! We enjoyed seeing various sights in the areas we traveled.

    4
« Great Location Near I-65 - Clean & Great Customer Service Desk »

The Franklin Best West on I-65 is a great location to Nashville, Brentwood, Columbia, Cool-Springs, Opry Mills, and the Williamson County area. We are returning visitors to this Best Western location and we will return again. Front Desk service is quick, accurate, and customer oriented. They will offer help for the local area if needed. Must do's - Eat at Big Shakes Hot Chicken/Fish in downtown Franklin, TN and eat at Pasta & Cream located across the street from this Best Western location. Mmm....Great!

    « Dump »

I wouldn't let my dog sleep here. This place is awful. First off reservation was wrong, got to room and it was nasty. Left and went found a nicer place. It needs to be torn down and rebuilt. Hard to get in and out of. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

    4
    « Nice stay - great staff »

I travel into town weekly and stay at this motel 3-4 days per week. The staff always does a great job in meeting my needs, and with getting me checked-in/out quickly. This is an older motel that may not be as asthetically pleasing as some newer motels, but the rooms are clean and being modernized, and the staff is very attentive and responsive to needs. Just due to the nature of the motel there isn't much for kids to do (other than a pool and playground), but I'd highly recommend this for business travelers and adults as it is a very good value for the price and location.

    5
    « Motorcycle Trip »

Great place for motorcycle travelers. Can park your bike under cover. Check in was easy, room was clean and neat. BBQ restaurant within walking distance. Breakfast was great. Check Out was fast and easy.

For the price this hotel is a great value. Clean comfortable rooms, good free breakfast wonderful staff. A hotel that does it right. Clean pool and great location. Short jump to Nashville and Columbia.

    « Well-Staffed, Well-Maintained, Good Value »

This Best Western Franklin Inn was a find. We were grateful for the care & accommodation that Nik and his staff provided us during our stay. Because of a sports tournament, any available lodgings around the area were scarce, but Nik was able to place us in a "smoking permitted" room in an area of the property that was quieter & actually so well maintained that there was no lingering smoke odors. It worked out well for us. Reasonably priced, with a good buffet breakfast and helpful staff, we would recommend it to others.

    4
    « Good Value »

The room itself was good. The place was older, but had been redone in the past couple of years or so. There were some noisy young people staying also, so that was annoying, but that could happen at any motel. One problem which I did not address with management was a urine odor in the bathroom of our room. I did not notice it, but it really clouded my husband's opinion of the place.

    « Rest stop :) »

We stayed at this hotel twice, on a way to Florida and back. This hotel is right of I-65 and in a busy area with food places and gas stations. Very clean, didn't have any problems. Kids had a chance to enjoy the pool. Good breakfast. Would stay again any time when going to Florida.

    3
    « Location Location Location »

the room its self was not the greatest, clean but small. the location was perfect to be away from Nashville but only 25 minutes drive time. staff was very nice and friendly but with Nashville being so close we didn't stay at the hotel much.

    4
    « Friendly attentive staff »

Cleanliness my biggest concern at hotels and this Best Western proved to be clean. I am a returning customer, and will return again. The Breakfast is very good, has options and is hot. The Breakfast room attendant is very friendly and works hard.

    « MOTHER'S 80TH »

Great staff ! Great price if you don't mind staying about 20 mile from Nashville attractions. Newly renovated and well worth the money. Highly recommend. We were here the week of July 5th to the 9th for my mothers 80th birthday celebration. We all enjoyed our rooms and the staff was prompt with any request. Hard to find a hotel with this service anymore.

    4
« A motel that beats our latest hotel stay! »

We were pleasantly surprised by the Best Western in Franklin, Tennessee's reception, clean rooms, over all nice accommodations for a terrific price. We paid far too much for a hotel room north of Nashville in comparison. BW is conveniently located with a short drive to Franklin Square.

    3
    « Clean But... »

The unit was a clean and fairly quiet motel type of structure. Unfortunately the air conditioner made a rattling noise whenever it turned on a and we could hear the laughing ladies who walked by at 4:30 am. The king bed had a hump in the middle but was otherwise comfortable. The towels were plentiful but rough. The breakfast bar was very good.

    2
    « Dirty - Noisy »

We chose the motel for its location as it is just off the Hwy 65. Check in time of 3Pm was inconvenient. Reservation not accurate. Polite staff. Room is very small. carpet filthy with a funny odor. a/c unit extremely noisy. Nice shower pressure. Cargo trailers parked outside of room. Excellent complimentary breakfast. Other motels in area will be our choice next time

    4
    « Very adequate »

Rather than stay in Nashville we decided to stay in Franklin and were glad we did after seeing the traffic and construction in Nashville. Our stay was cut short so we didn't get a chance to see Franklin. The hotel was very clean and had a comfortable bed. Breakfast was very nice and eating area clean. Very efficient operation.

    5
« very nice place and affordable »

my stay was great..the rooms were very neat and clean.there is all kinds of shopping and resturants near by also..this is a great place to stay..the rooms are small but efficient..they come with a refridgerator and a small microwave..the rooms are modern looking on the inside..we will for sure check their rates again when we go back and hope to stay there again

    3
    « Average okay hotel »

Hotel was clean and quiet, comfortable bed, average breakfast. Could use more parking spaces. Good location - easy to get to. Wi-fi is fast. One lamp's bulb was burned out which was a little annoying.

  • 5
    « Great stay »

Motel was very clean, friendly staff, excellent location from interstate, restaurants, beverage store, etc. Even though a busy area we couldn't hear traffic. We didn't try breakfast but there is a Waffle House and a Shoneys within a 3o second walk. WiFi was good, pool was great! Even a play area for children. Highly recommend.

    3
« OK Place to Stay »

Stayed here while visiting Nashville. Hotel seemed very full and we were given a room on the backside of the building. Room was nice but very tiny. Looked clean, but my shoes kept sticking to the floor. Maybe just too much cleaner..don't know. Bathroom was clean and bed was ok. The biggest complaint I would have is the parking. We came back a little after 9pm and the parking lot was full. Big trucks and trailers were parked in the back taking up all the parking spots. Had to pull up by the pool and walk a distance to our room. It was just kind inconvenient if you have luggage. Really packed for breakfast so we ate elsewhere.

    4
    « on vacation »

    « Nice upgrades »

It's been at least a couple of years since we've stayed here. It has gone through some changes and they are all good. The exterior has been updated and all the rooms. Nice paint colors on the wall, flat screen tv, decor has been updated as well. The lobby is very nice and the breakfast was too. The only complaint I have is that our particular room has a lot of humidity. Everything kinda of felt sticky. Besides that everything was great and for a great price.

    « Clean/Quiet/Inexpensive »

My wife and I have stayed at this hotel twice while on business in Nashville. Compared to other hotels in Nashville, it is very inexpensive and is not in a bad area of town. We especially love the cleanliness and how quiet the hotel is in spite of always being packed when we are here. It also has a nice outdoor pool. We will definitely stay here again!

    5
    « Great Value »

We were in town to compete 2 days in the Senior Olympics. We lived only 2 hrs away but the value was so good at the Franklin Best Western that we decided to stay overnight instead of drive in each day. I usually don't sleep well in hotels but the bed was very comfortable. The room was small but it had everything we needed: coffee machine, small frig, small round table and 2 chairs, iron and board, great tv with lots of available stations.

    « A stay in Franklin, Tennessee »

I enjoyed my stay at Best Western Franklin Inn. The breakfast was good - hot scrambled eggs, sausage patties, fried/baked chopped potatoes and pepper gravy and all kinds of breads, plus cereal and fruit - but no bananas. My only complaint was that the carpet felt dirty under my bare feet and that the exhaust fan in the bathroom did not work.

    5
« Affordable, Clean, Comfortable, Great Location »

This Best Western can't be beat for an affordable, comfortable room in a great location for visiting the sites in Franklin. We visited the Music City Roots show in The Factory, ate downtown, and visited the three Civil War Museums. Driving was easy and short. Many fast food locations are nearby. It is very close to Interstate 65. The KIng bed was very comfortable. The room was very clean and quiet. We did not take advantage of the outdoor swimming pool. Breakfast was included.

    « wonderful stay »

excellent hotel, excellent room/bed, excellent breakfast - no complaint whatsoever - extremely satisfied - only concern is 2 computers were available to guests in the lobby - usually there is only 1 - sadly (for me), both computers were MACs and I am MAC-illiterate! - that was no big deal, though, as we were there for a good night sleep, not checking emails, and we got an excellent night sleep - will not hesitate to return

    « Decent hotel »

Stayed one night during road trip. Reserved a queen room, no issues with check-in or price. The room was small, but clean. The bed was ok, but seemed very small for a queen...more like a full size. While taking a shower, I discovered there wasn't any shampoo in the pump dispenser. When I mentioned this at check-out, they said they are aware of problems with the pumps and I should have come to the desk for shampoo. (I was IN the shower). The only real issue I had was the exterior lighting, it runs the length of the building. Even with the drapes closed, it is so bright, it lit up our room and I found it difficult to get to sleep. To end on a positive, the breakfast was good!

    5
« Would stay here again. »

Very clean room. Comfortable beds. Staff was efficient and friendly. The hotel is within walking distance to a great restaurant. Good location in proximity to the interstate and other activities. Discount was allowed for AAA.

    « Simple, confortable »

A comfortable place to stay when visitng, reasonably priced. and convenient location. Parking at night is a hassle! too many trucks with trailers blocking the parking lo in the rear, The breakfast is poor. It simply consists of basic eggs, different kinds of bread, cold cereal , coffee and old fruit!!

The breakfast had a lot of different foods that were all really good and the kitchen crew were on the ball. The eating area was very clean. The Bed was the most comfortable bed in the five hotels I stayed in. I loved that the hotel had a play ground for the little kids and a clean pool to swim in. I would stay here again.

    « Great Stay »

I accidently made a reservation for the wrong dates and did not realize until arrival. Deborah the day manager made sure I was able to stay in the room I wanted for my entire stay. She was a delight to work with. The room was very clean, the bed was super comfy and I actually was able to sleep (I normally sleep horrible at hotels) the pool was very clean and the breakfast was very good!

    « Choose another hotel »

There was no parking available close to the room due to semi trailers being parked in the lot used for storage by the hotel. There was no handicap parking available on any side of the hotel. It was noise all night long and the beds were wore out and had no support left in the mattress.

« Leisure trip to Frankin »

This hotel was clean but waaaaay over priced! Its an average Best Western. Nice staff but breakfast was closed until 6:30 am and by that time there was a line of 15 people. Just open it up 30 mins earlier and that problem with lines disappears! Also, they were way to strict with check in. We drove 13 hours to get there and they refused to let us in one min early. Plenty of other hotels in the area who might treat you like they WANTED you to stay there.

« Very clean rooms, not enough parking »

We will visit in this area monthly. The cleaning staff were very courteous and the room was very clean, neat and quiet. Hotel clerk was going to charge $30/night for our dog. hubby talked him down to $10. They should advise this when reservations are made. Will stay at La Quinta next month when we visit the kids to check them out. Nearby Einstein Bros. Bagels and Starbucks.

    « Great, Convenient! »

Hotel right off interstate, parked right in front of my room made unloading luggage easy. Breakfast was good and room to eat in wasn't crowed plenty of room to sit and enjoy breakfast. Front desk staff were efficient and knowledgeable.

« A perfect visit in every way! »

This hotel was the best we have visited in a long time. From check in to check out it was exceptional. There were a lot of guest the night we were there but that was not a problem in any way. Breakfast was excellent and the attendants were most helpful and accommodating. Our room appeared to have been recently updated as it was spotless and, believe it or not, everything worked as it should and all squeaky clean. I highly recommend this hotel for a great nights rest at a reasonable price.

    « wonderful stay »

Cudos to staff, cleanness, and appearance. Gym needs urgent upgrade and maintenance. Pool very clean and well maintained. Breakfast more than average, but full choices not always available. Problems are Generally attended to expeditiously. Bit far from Nashville, but easy navigation and access

    4
    « nice hotel »

rooms were clean beds comfortable breakfast was wonderful. good location right off the interstate. Did not use the pool but it looked like a very nice pool and area around the pool was neat and clean. We had a large group and required 3 rooms and were able to get all of them together which was very good

    5
« Great Hotel with Great Rates »

This hotel was very nice. I would recommend it to other. The staff was excellent, breakfast was great and the rooms were clean and comfortable. The location was great you were only 5-6 minutes from downtown Franklin and about 10-15 minutes from downtown Nashville, Tn.

    3
    « Inexpensive for a 3 day stay »

First of all, the rooms are exterior entrance only. I somehow missed that when I booked it as I normally do not stay in hotels that only offer that. That's my own fault though. (Just putting that out there for any other travelers who may also miss that fact!) That being said, I overall had a quiet stay. Shower worked well, plumbing worked well, room was clean, bed sheets were clean. Can't ask for much more than that at the price I paid (about $75 a night). Other tips as well: there is a back entrance if you enter in off of Royal Oaks Blvd (turn left by the gas station and Publix on Royal Oaks Blvd onto Riverside Drive). Exiting out on to Murfeesboro Road (the front entrance) can be a nightmare otherwise due to the busyness of the road.

« Wish it were better »

We were in town for a wedding and picked this spot for its location; close to Brentwood and downtown Franklin. Our room smelled of urine, the air conditioner was working intermittently. Large burn marks on the carpet when you walked in and the toilet never flushed proper. Parking lot was too full to park our cars in most nights so we had to park and walk back from a restaurant down a ways. Staff so-so.

« Take you time to find a excellent hotel »

A excellent hotel, at time when I'm concern with how clean a hotel is and with the problem with bed bugs are with travel, this hotel is very clean and bed bug free at my time of travel. They are also very pet friendly which is a big plus. I will use the place next time when I'm passing threw again.

« One of the Best of the Best Western Hotels »

We stopped at the Franklin Inn Best Western (TN) for an overnight stay. We stay at the Best Western and participate in their rewards program..We drove up to the hotel that had a great curb appeal and very convenient to the interstate. The room was very clean, supplied with refrigerator and micro plus all other amenities that you can count including free internet service that worked right away. The bathroom towels were full, not the rags that are in some hotels. Very satisfied with the room. We had the breakfast. One of the best that I have eaten at any BW hotel. I could go on and on. Great Best Western and I would highly recommend it without hesitation.

    5
« Excellent stay very nice stuff »

Got to this hotel for 7 nights. Stuff was very helpful and pleasant. Hot breakfast was very good. Clean and very comfortable rooms. Highly recommended for business or family trips. Will definitely stay there again on my next trip to the area.

    3
    « Not the worst...but definitely could've been better »

Not the worst...but definitely could've been better. The rooms were clean but the A/C blew out the musty odor. The customer service was decent upon checking in/out. But the breakfast attendants were not the most pleasant. But the food was average; but no variety. The gym facility was a huge disappointment.

    4
    « Great Stay »

My friend & I were there for the Hillbilly Half Marathon and it was in a great location to where we needed to be. The room was clean the area was not intimidating and I would definitely recommend. More lighting came thru the curtains than I would have liked & the exhaust in the bathroom could be better.

    4
    « Nice but dated »

Nice hotel but a little dated. Clean. 2 levels, no elevator but got ground floor room, asked ahead for it. Stayed on backside away from pool. Bed comfy. Did not like fan in bathroom that had to be on. Sink outside small bathroom. Price very good and staff very nice. Cleaning staff great! Had small fridge. Right off interstate. Close to Franklin, just miles and not far from Nashville.

    3
    « One nightstand »

It's been a while since I stayed at a motel with only one night stand, like we experienced here. Both my wife and I wear glasses so it was awkward (for my wife.) The rest of the motel room was very much non-descript, although the price was reasonable. But, as they say, you get what you pay for.

    4
    « Ok accommodations! »

It was a very good location right next to the Interstate! Nice place but very crowded and poor excuse for very slim breakfast.Dont go for the continental scraps! Iron provided leaked all over my shirt! Keys kept falling. Had 4 keys made in 2 days! It seems pretty generic but works on a tight budget. Probably will skip this one next time unless Im on a budget! I am not sure what else I need to say, 200 words? Not enough to talk about. Blah Blah Blah. No blankets, Pool dirty...cant understand desk help...Not a good experience. These rooms are like renting a 200,000 mile car! Feels worn out.

    4
    « Pleasant Surprise! »

I'll be honest, I've become spoiled on hotels that average over $100 a night before taxes so when we booked this hotel, I wasn't expecting much. I was pleasantly surprised with it! The room was clean and comfortable. I only dealt with one staff member (Deborah) and she was nice and did everything she could to help us (we had a card decline due to a mishap at the hotel we stayed at in Tuscaloosa the night before). The pool was great!! Also, the playground is next to the pool, which was great for when the kids decided they'd rather play on it while the adults were in the pool. Overall, this hotel is one I would definitely recommend!! A great stay for the price we paid!

    3
    « Good Enough »

This motel met the basic needs of our trip. It was a place to sleep after sports tournaments. The pool was ok, the kids liked it. The breakfast was a little chaotic as they couldn't keep the supply up with the demand. There was no fresh fruit- only prepackaged fruit cups. The shower head didn't adjust and was not the easiest to use for children.

    « Just a two star motel »

A reviewer just noted the fact that this is an old style motel with exterior doors but I had not read that in reviews prior to booking. I just double checked the photos to see if I had missed something but the "management photo" exterior shot only shows the front office - it clearly omits the exterior of the motel itself. In fairness, the room was relatively clean and renovated fairly recently. However, our sink backed up and I was awakened at 3 am by a car alarm going off. Sadly, it was our car and in the morning we realized that it had been vandalized. Not a place I would recommend.

    5
« Thank you for the part you played in a very nice weekend! »

The hotel was every thing I would have needed or expected. We were there for a grandsons graduation and spent more time with family than at the hotel, but had no complaints. would however, make a suggestion regarding mattresses . Were very comfortable, but if they could be secured to box spring they would not move away from you as you try to sit on the bed.

    4
« Overnights along the way »

Three of us on this trip found this Best Western to be a very nice place, and we had a well rounded choice of food for breakfast, all of which tasted quite good. We like not having to get up in the morning and looking for a place to eat, so this was most convenient for us.

    5
    « Great Stay ?? »

Nothing negative to say about this place. The room was comfortable and clean, the staff friendly and very helpful and the breakfast enjoyable. The motel is located just off the highway and maybe 5 minutes drive to Franklin town centre.

    4
« Great hotel for the price! »

I stayed here while moving my daughter back home from Belmont at the end of the school year. I was apprehensive because it has a motel feel as all the doors are located outside. I was very pleasantly surprised. My room was very clean. The bed was comfortable. I can't comment on the breakfast as I did not eat it. I would definitely stay here again. Can't beat it for the price!

    3
« No, we will never stay here again »

Firtst, let me state the positive features, which are far outweighed by the negatives. 1. Bed was comfortable -king bed, no smoking 2. Breakfast was ok, breakfast room is far too small. Negatives. 1. Was called way ahead, requested a quiet room almost 3 weeks in advance of our arrival. We were assured we would have a 2nd floor, QUIET room. When we checked in we again told the front desk person of our confirmed request, and he look starstruck. We should have known the worst was to arrive. We went out to tour the lovely city of Franklin and to find a place to dine. When we returned to the hotel there was a tour bus parked beside the hotel reception and the parking lot area was overwhelmed with teenagers throwing footballs, baseball and the pool was overtaken...and the 2 men chaperwete involved with the overtaking and looked indignant when we tried to drive in to park our car. I went to reception and again reminded them of our QUIET ROOM, to learn we were now surrounded by the teenager group, beside and below us. I was told that "there will be no problem." I suggested that it would be wise to be proactive and tell the adults to act like guests. That was not well received by the desk manager. That nite at 11:20 PM the girls beside us were on the outside walkway screaming and yelling for several minutes. Front desk did nothing until I called them and said "it is 11:20, you must be hearing the noise, what are you going to do? and the desk manager from before replied "I will call them." Terrible management. 3. Check out day. 9:02 am. Cleaning lady clicked on door with a key then opened our door to the security stop. "Oh, sorry." Check out is 11...tet they try to push you out. 4. Bathroom. Very Tired. Needs updating. Toiletries. Terrible squeeze dispensers at shower and vanity area. 5. Air conditioner. Noisy.

    1
    « No Elevatoe »

After specifically asking for a ground-floor room he put me in a room on the second floor and a section that has no elevator the room is clean but it seems like the staff just don't care he didn't tell me there was no elevator till after I had already checked in I won't come back

    5
« Quality for price nearest to Downtown Old Franklin »

Clean room, clean and comfortable bed, clean bathroom, quiet, nice staff, closest hotel to Uber to downtown old Franklin Main Square. Hot breakfast was above expectation. Near lots of restaurants but stayed here to Uber to downtown old Franklin, TN.

    « May21-23, 2016: My stay @ BW in Tn »

My overall experience was decent, I didn't like the female attendant at the breakfast lounge, she went out of her way to be friendly and hospitable to the non-black guests & I felt she just "tolerated" black guests. She didn't say anything derogatory, she just didn't make you feel comfortable, nor was she friendly. Nevertheless, the maintenance/housekeeping staff was wonderful.

    « affordable relaxing week-end »

took time with adult Granddaughter for a fun week-end. Shopped, dined, napped, enjoyed pool, and scenery. Lovely sights and time for memories. I would like to make it seasonal at more and different Best Westerns, near larger cities.

« Clean motel with very good breakfast »

Hot breakfast with scrambled eggs, pancake machine, a meat, biscuits and gravy, bagels, muffins, OJ, coffee, all great. No elevators , and the parking lot access slightly difficult from main road (Murfreesboro Rd). Close to the civil war sites. Room was clean and tidied daily. Slight must smell upon entering room, probably from AC unit. Safe area, I recommend it. Also many fast food places within walking distance.

    5
« Nice place, but, tough to get in n out »

Clean rooms, attentive front desk. There is a Shoney's next door, convenient but the food isn't all that good. The only negative it getting in and out of the parking lot. The motel itself sit on a quite busy hiway without a stoplight.. Other than that, I will stay here again when I am in the area.

« Best Western Franklin Inn »

This is one of the nicest Best Western hotel we've stayed in and we always stay at a Best Western when traveling. Simple things like a soap dispenser in the bathroom and the shower to a hair dryer that isn't bolted to the wall and a very friendly, helpful staff made us feel as though we were trusted and valued customers. This hotel is only about 30 minutes from downtown Nashville and definitely worth it. And when we checked out on May 17th they told us that they were replacing all the furniture and mattresses in the hotel!

    4
    « Very quiet stay »

My family nor myself had any problem with our stay at BW. The staff from the check-in until our stay ended was great and always Greeting you. Got a call from the manager to ask was everything OK with the room.

    5
« Really comfy room for the money »

You will really like the convenience of this location. It is near all forms of shopping, restaurants and service for your vehicle including a car wash not far away. There are several soft pillows on the bed. The shower had plenty of hot water and adequate pressure. You don't need to bring shampoo, liquid soap or hair dryer as these are provided in the room. very nice property including a pool, playground and exercise room on the second floor. We would stay there again.

« blocked party for wedding »

We blocked off rooms for family, friends, wedding party due to most of us were 6 hours from wedding. Very pleased with staff and rooms very clean. Housekeeping was awesome. Breakfast double awesome. Rates were very affordable and this was the reason for use Best Western for this occasion.

« Excellent staff, large rooms, great value »

Our group of cyclists stayed at the Best Western for 7 nights last week. Staff accommodated us so well, giving us all rooms togethers and on 1st floor so that we could store our bikes easily. Breakfast was very nice - the new pancake maker was a hit. Overall excellent value and a comfortable stay.

    5
    « Yep, I'd do it again. »

Staff were very kind, room were remodeled, beds were comfortable, clean. Parking lot was immaculately clean so were the rooms. Didn't feel like cooty-city, for which I was grateful. If I travel through again I will make a point of staying here.

    4
    « Great Value »

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times and although the property is older, it is a clean, efficiently run hotel. It is in a great location with Starbucks and several food choices within walking distance.

« Best Western, Franklin, Tn »

Great value. Staff is friendly and helpful. There was a leak under the sink which we reported. Luggage rack was broken. However, it was very clean and nice. One of the best playgrounds ever seen at a hotel and nice pool area. Recommend this hotel.

    « Just passing thru. »

This a very clean and well kept hotel. The staff goes out their way to make sure that you stay is as pleasant and comfortable as they can make it. The room was a great size and was laid out just right.

    5
« Great experience, great value »

From top to bottom, a great choice for lodging. This was our third time staying at this motel, and we have never been disappointed. It is pet friendly, has a variety of breakfast choices, and is a great value. Any time we visit family in the Nashville/Franklin area, we choose this Best Western.

    4
« Best Western, Murfreesboro, Franklin TN »

Overall we enjoyed our stay! The staff was very friendly and accomodating. The lobby and breakfast area were very very nice! I had to opt for a smoking room when I made the reservation so the room did have that "smokers room" smell, but that again isn't the hotels fault. The room was comfy and we were satisfied. We enjoyed the work out room as well.

    4
« Good value for price »

Room was clean. Somewhat updated. Staff was helpful and well informed. Reservation was easy. Breakfast was OK. I don't expect gourmet breakfast for this price. Would stay here again. Much cheaper than some of the other options in the area.

    4
    « Nice rooms a little noisy »

The room was very small, but clean and comfortable with everything in good working order. The staff was all very pleasant. THe breakfast was typical and average. My only complaint with this hotel was the noise from the street and the parking lot which woke me up several times in the night. It was fine for just one night but would be difficult for longer. The value was excellent however for this area, which with a short one night stay was what I needed.

    3
    « Contractor stay »

Very nice stay. Room wasn't fancy, but it was clean and quiet. Television and internet access was not great, but acceptable for a motel in this price range. For the price, these were very acceptable accomodations

    3
« Good Stay But Not Fancy »

Overall, a reasonably priced hotel that was about 20-25 minutes from downtown. The outside appears worn down, but the room was acceptable. No issues except a burnt out light bulb. Bed was comfortable. Small refrigerator, which worked well. Good TV. Good WiFi. Good location. Very close to I-65 and near a number of restaurants.

    5
    « Great »

Great place, staff, and room easy to find. Not a very big parking lot for all the rooms but was easy to get in and out of. Clsoe to a waffle house, best 3rd shift cooks everrrrrrrrr. So go see ya' boy Deejay at the waffle

    4
    « Surprised »

I've stayed in quite a few hotels in my time, this one surprised me by not being cookie cutter and having high end items. The area was restful, nice, easy access to freeways, dining, and entertainment, i'd def. stay there again !

    5
    « Very comfortable & Clean »

We enjoyed staying, and really needed a comfortable, clean and convenient place to stay. We found it here. We were in Franklin for work, and when we return again we will stay there. I loved that Publix was right behind them.

    « Average Best Western »

This was an OK hotel. Close to highway so was very noisy. You enter the room from the outside of the hotel instead of the inside. Had to walk through the parking lot to get to breakfast. Check-in took awhile because only one person working desk. Lots of decent restaurants to choose from in area. No elevator-only stairs.

    3
    « It was okay »

Was not set up well, but people were nice and beds comfy. Food not that great, but it's a hotel. Rooms detached from office so because it was rainy, had a bit of a time getting washcloths and towels, which should have already been in the room. No real issues, just like to have everything in order when staying in a hotel. I would probably stay again, if sunny with no rain. Would also go ahead in special instructions when booking and make sure that there are enough washcloths and towels in the room. Breakfast looked decent, just wasn't very tasty to me. Waffles thin and burnt. I do realize that it is a hotel tho, so not gonna fuss about that.

    5
    « Outstanding Stay »

Every time this hotel gets better and better! Comfortable beds, clean and very friendly staff! We stay here every time we come to Nashville. Never have had a bad experience. Always clean and friendly! Love this place!

    2
« Needs updating and lots of cleaning »

Our room desperately needed some updating. Pretty basic no frills place. One very small sliver of soap provided. Sheets appeared clean but dingy. Bathroom was relatively clean. Quite a surprise to find our room had two double beds instead of the king I reserved. Floors were laminate with no carpet at all. Floors were NOT clean. Several charter coach buses parked in the lot. Surprisingly the room was quiet. We did not stay for breakfast so no comment on the food.

    5
« Stay at Best Western in Franklin TN »

My stay was very nice. Very friendly hotel employees, Nick the front desk clerk was very friendly and helpful. David the Hotel Manager was very helpful also. Housekeeping was very good at cleaning the room. Will continue staying here for work.

    5
    « Great Value »

Have stayed many times for Business. Best price for Hotel in the area. Modern recently remodeled rooms and friendly staff. NOt a luxury property but if you just want a nice hotel at a decent price this Best Western is very good.

    3
    « Just okay »

My son's basketball stayed here. It is next door to Shoney's and Waffle House. There are many restaurants across the street. The room was small and clean, but reeked of smoke. I suggest to bring lysol. Breakfast was paltry. Tip: its hard to get on the property if you're coming north from the interstate.

    4
    « pleasure trip »

I found this hotel has very well run staff and service which I found to be exceptional. the only compliant is that the pool was not open. they also went out of their way to help to rent a good car. They also did a very good job my room clean and I always had fresh towels to use.

    5
« Nice place to stay and very reasonable »

I was pleasantly surprised when I arrived at this Best Western. The rooms are updated and well kept. Very clean and comfy. I will stay here again. I felt safe at the location. There's a lot of traffic in the area so plan accordingly.

    5
    « Great stay! »

This hotel is very neat and clean. Staff was very helpful and friendly. When we arrived in the evening we wanted a restaurant close by that was not a chain and had good food and beer. The desk clerk sent us to the perfect place in downtown Franklin!

    « Just a stop over »

Took a chance on this one after seeing some questionable reviews. However, it was the right location at the right price and it was a pleasant stay. We were checked in by a friendly clerk who accommodated our request for a roll away bed. He also knew how to handle Best Western gift cards for payment at check in which I find is rare for some reason. Pretty standard older BW. The room buildings are actually separate from the lobby building. Out side entrances. Beds were comfortable. Good hot breakfast in the morning staffed by a friendly hostess. They had an outdoor pool with bath house that looked nice and a fenced in playground for the kiddos. We paid $85 plus tax on a Friday night which was more than reasonable for the Nashville area. Right off the highway so easy to get to with restaurants and gas stations nearby. Nice place to stay if you won't be spending much time at the hotel.

    1
    « Wouldn't return »

Well, we were very surprised by the fact that the hotel had outside doors, which made us all feel uncomfortable. Don't feel fooled by the updated rooms as the only thing they have updated are the faucets and the headboards. The AC sounds like the rain is pouring outside and the popcorn ceilings leave something to be desired! If you want an early wake up call, all you need to do is stay there....as people dragging their luggage outside will surely wake you up!

    4
« My first choice in the Nashville area »

Staff is always accommodating and very friendly. Rooms are very well furnished and clean. I compare the rooms here with much higher priced hotels. It is just on the fringe of all Nashville's activities. The biggest issue I have is that if you don't get to your room early, you will not have a nearby parking spot. Noise from other guests can sometimes be a nuisance, but I turn the tv up a little to cancel it out. Overall, the positives far outweigh the negatives.

    5
    « Great Hotel »

Nice staff. Great rooms, however smoking is really a smoking room, smoke is thick in there. Overall very clean and accommodating staff.!! I have to make this 200 characters long or it will not post so this sentence is to fulfill that.. Thanks

sink stopper sliced my finger bad, trying to plug water, bed had 5 pillows but they were half the size of regular pillows. Bathroom had some tile grout patch work that was bad. there was some channel on tv one day but not the next.

    « Great stay, »

Room was clean and beds comfortable. Loved the morning staff in the breakfast area. The manager and lady staffing the breakfast area were very helpful with information about the area and had lots of recommendations on places to visit. and even a map on how to get there!!!

    5
« Excellent accommodations for the PRICE. »

This hotel is in the perfect location to enjoy the city of Franklin and Nashville TN. For the price the accommodations were excellent. It does not have outside entrances which is a bit dated but it doesn't take away from the things that count such as cleanliness, complimentary breakfast, quietness, helpful staff, and many other amenities that we did not need. I would recommend this hotel if you are not picky about inside entrances.

    5
« Another Great Best Western »

We usually look for BW first when traveling and the Franklin Inn did not disappoint us. The rooms were clean, the beds were comfortable with good pillows, and it had a great shower. Mary was the attendant for the breakfast area and she was simply delightful. Not only did she keep the area clean and well stocked, she was friendly and eager to answer our questions and give us suggestions about the area. It was a hot breakfast including the pancake "printer" and great coffee. If I had to find a con, it would be the Wi-Fi. The first night, it was reliable with a constant strong signal. The second night it was just hit and miss, but that wasn't a problem for us since we weren't there on business. AN IMPORTANT NOTE: This BW does not have an elevator, so if you have difficulty climbing stairs, be sure and ask for a room on the first floor.

    4
    « perfect driving stop »

We were in Orlando and travelling back and needed a stop along the way. We wanted a clean affordable place. We stayed at another brand on our way down and were disappointed. This is a perfect clean place. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The included breakfast was good but I would have liked some fruit.

    5
« Friendly, helpful staff; clean room, attractive »

After driving 4 hours to a new city with daughter and grandson the staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and meet our special needs. The on duty manager gave us directions and suggestions regarding points of interest. The staff also gave us extra towels to accommodate personal needs. My only personal problem was the bed was too hard but many people like that and it usually means a quality mattress.

  • 3
    « Beds are old »

Nothing too terrible about the place, but the beds are old and uncomfortable. Also the curtains do not block out the bright light from exterior lighting, so hard to get a good night's sleep. It seems a lot of work crews stay here, and hang around outside drinking and smoking after work. The good part is they are up and out early, so they go to bed early. They weren't an issue for us, other than seeing all the cigarette butts and litter in the parking lot. We could not change channels on TV after many attempts, so called front desk. 20 minutes later we were still waiting for someone to come . . .

    3
« Booked Nonsmoking ..But It Had The Smoking Stench »

We booked ahead of time and specified no smoking, but it was evident that this room at one time was a smoking room. The bed was comfy, and certainly clean enough. It was within walking distance to fast food, but around 15 minutes to downtown Franklin. They had a breakfast which was quite adequate. If you are handicapped, request a ground floor room as there are no elevators. It was fine for an overnight stop, no major complaints.

    4
« excellent for the cost. »

We found everything we needed in our room. We found the television to be a good size. The breakfast was also good. The lobby was clean and welcoming. The location was excellent. The staff was welcoming and friendly. We will definitely stay there again.

« Nice Stay in Franklin »

The Best Western Franklin was a nice stay for 2 nights. The staff was extremely helpful and our room appeared to have been recently updated. It's in a good, safe location within walking distance to restaurants and Publix grocery.

« My doubts were shattered, it was great! »

Just like the other reviews...seemed iffy at first but give this place a try. Staying at a motel is different but don't let it put you off. Great location, staff was nice, bed was great and the price was right on target compared to other places during my stay!!

« Good but not worth the price »

I've been staying at this motel for years on my two trips to the area and they have made tremendous updates. Along with this came higher rates each time. This time it was $95! I was walking out when the manager made me a better deal. It was good but not enough to get me back in the future. The motels in the area are extremely unreasonable due to the amount of construction in the area. Companies are booking blocks of rooms so everyone suffers. We will be staying elsewhere AND only staying one night rather than 2. That being said,,,it is a very nice motel now....but it's STILL an outside entrance motel and not worth what they are charging.

« Good place to stay »

Would recommend this hotel as it is clean and comfortable. Breakfast is adequate. Experienced no problems. Just found the room with king bed rather small. Shoney's Restaurant is next door, therefore handy for an evening meal.

    « Needed a place to rest... »

I thought this hotel was perfect for what we needed. After driving 14 hours, we needed a place to rest before getting back on the road. Room was clean and beds were comfy. Breakfast was good too! I'm amazed that some people expect five star food from a hotel.

    3
    « Not much sleep! »

Checked in and was given a lower, front facing room. All was good until very early morning heavy traffic began moving. Walls seem to amplify outside noise. Paper thin walls I guess. We were both awakened and up at 5:00 AM. So we decided to hit the road 3 hours earlier than planned. At checkout, I mentioned this to the clerk. She told me to request a backside room if we return. Needless to say we didn't return. Room and facility was clean though.

    « Nod Bad »

They were in the process of updating while we stayed in early April of 2015. The rooms were small, but they were affordable and just what we needed. The continental breakfast was a joke. The worst breakfast at any BW we have stayed at. All warm food was "cooked" in the microwave, and not many options for fresh food. Just was not anything "writing home" about. For the price it was just what we were looking for. Because of the time of year, the outdoor pool was not available.

« Good place for a night or two, VERY FRIENDLY STAFF! »

We got the last room in the hotel the first night here (as we had planned to stay somewhere else but had to leave due to bugs). This was a handicap room. The parking lot was pretty full so we had a difficult time getting a parking space near our room. The room didn't have a lot of updates but we were just happy to have a place to sleep at that point. The next day we checked out of that room and into another one at the same hotel. The beds were clean, no signs of any bugs. Flat screen tv in the room, but we never turned it on. We each had cell phones and lap tops so finding enough outlets available was no fun. The other thing we didn't care for was there was no light switch inside the bathroom, so you had to turn it on before going in ... which in the middle of the night makes it easier to wake others up. There is a hot breakfast available from 5-9 each morning, with options like eggs, gravy/biscuits, sausage/ham, pancakes one morning, waffle another, muffins, oatmeal, coffee & juices. Very Clean and well stocked. The hotel staff were fantastic. Every single encounter was overly friendly and helpful. The manager spoke to me several different times, never knowing who I was, but just in general conversation. Nick on the night desk was very nice. The downfall of the hotel itself is it's location near the highway, so there are lots of noises. My particular room had a shower head that was spraying water (from where it was attached to the pipe and not wrenched down tight enough) ... that water sprayed the ceiling and onto the exhaust fan and ran down, which was hard to contain with the shower curtain so the floor got soaked. There was also black mold on the ceiling in one corner of the shower which I assume was from the excessive moisture caused by the shower head attachment. Overall I had to rate this as an Average hotel because of the mold, noise and lack of outlet space, but the room other than that was really well maintained on a daily basis and smelled clean, which was important to me. The room did all have new door locks which was, I'm certain, at great expense since the technology was a scan type system. We did also use the laundry area. No coin changer, so we had to go to the desk for that, but they were very nice about making change.

    « Comfortable beds »

The BW offers comfortable beds at this Franklin location. The desk and breakfast staff were friendly and helpful, offering travel sightseeing suggestions for the area. Our overall stay for two nights was quite satisfactory.

    3
« Best Western Franklin was ok and not ok »

There was nothing Super bad about the hotel... the room was dusty and had worn out carpet. The beds were not the best, but not the worst. The pillows were tiny square pillows. The room was quiet, even with a fully booked hotel. The staff was friendly, the breakfast was good. The location of the hotel was great, but i don't feel like the hotel was worth what I spent. I have stayed at econo-lodges and motel 6's that were nicer.

    3
    « Good Price »

Nothing exceptional about this hotel. It looked like it was going under a renovation. The price was great. The location was very good for anyone traveling down route 65. Overall, we got what we expected which is an older hotel in a decent location for a very reasonable rate.

    5
    « A+ hotel »

Excellent hotel and service, especially for the price. Great and we'll ran breakfast as well! Courteous manager. It was very nice and comfortable for the price, and great for families so we're happy. . Impressed!

« It was ok before....not so much now......won't be back. Lost a longtime customer. »

I have been staying here for several years. Good stopping point on our way south. Upgrades have "helped" to make the room look current, (bathroom counter tops and some furniture) bathrooms haven't been upgraded. Looks like they forgot to finish painting and trimming. Mold in the grout, stained carpets. Exterior doors on the room have gaps between the floor and the outside door jam. So much so I have put towels so little creatures don't squeeze in. When people leave at the crack of dawn to continue their trips...they don't care. You're up with them. You hear everything! Check in staff is polite. Manager not so much. I told him of a problem with our room (the heater/ac was leaking so much water our floor was soaked by the bed) They didn't want to move us and he said "If you don't like our hotel there are plenty of others to choose from". Well, we arrived at 12:30 a.m. and if I left....I lost my money! How was I to know that we would be swimming in water? Yes I guaranteed my room with a credit card, but I also thought I would get a room! Not a swimming pool in my room. Breakfast was ok. Same thing as all the other Best Western's. The juices seemed be a tad watered down (and no they weren't in need of replacement) I tried all of them. Good way for the hotel to save some money....dilute the juices. We have found a much nicer hotel within the area of this BW. Price very comparable to this BW.

« Quality - Car trouble, only 3 hotels in walking distance of repair shop »

Car trouble while driving Interstate 65, we broke down and luckily a ford dealership was around the corner. Searched using my cell phone and reviewed the 3 closest hotels in walking distance of Ford repair shop. Based on the reviews I only had one choice other than spending $200 a night for a room. Johnly was the Front desk person and he was very nice and helpful. I always take a deep breath before opening the door to a hotel because you do not know what it will really look like. but it was a welcome surprise completely renovated rooms, clean. No place is perfect but for the money it was a 5 star. We spent 2 days waiting for the repair which was what I really needed to worry about not the room. So thank you Johnly and Best Western for making a bad situation a little better.

    3
    « Not that Good »

Hotel is over priced for the size of the rooms. If your familiar with BW you will think you checked into a Days Inn or equivalent based on room sizes. I cant help but believe this hotel was something else and upgraded and converted to a Best Western. Its clean and up to BW standards but over priced for what it is.

    2
    « Look elsewhere. »

I booked a room with a queen sized bed and was given a room with a full. The rooms are extremely overpriced. There were black hairs all in the bathroom floor. The only good part about my stay here was the man that checked me in. He was super friendly and mdae me feel welcome but the good from the friendly welcome was shortlived once we got to our room.

    1
« Do Not Stay at this location »

The website said that this hotel was recently remodeled. It was not. The mattress was badly stained. The fixtures were rusty and dirty. The furniture top was sticky. My friend staying in another room had dog hair all over her bed.

  • 4
    « Great hotel »

Enjoyed my stay. Clean rooms and bed were ok. Staff was very courteous. I'd recommend. Had to use a smoking room as non smoking was sold out. That was a bit unpleasant but nothing the hotel could avoid.

    4
« Clean, friendly, good breakfast »

Room was recently painted, bed was good, room was clean. It does need a little more updating, but for the value it was good. The staff was very friendly at the counter, in the breakfast room, and the cleaning staff all were helpful and friendly.

    2
« Clean rooms poor everything else »

Internet didn't work, no phone books. Front desk told us to call customer service for internet. When you are in the lodging business you shouldn't unload you problems on paying guests. They also didn't have a phone book we could use and that is the next logical place to go for information when the internet doesn't work. If you like powdered eggs you can get all you want here.

    « I lucked out »

I unexpectedly got stuck overnight in Franklin during a business trip. After dinner I went looking for a hotel for the night. The Best Western was on my side of the street, so I pulled in and rented a room for the night. The check-in was quick and pleasant. The clerk happily provided me with a toothbrush, toothpaste and a razor. The room was very clean and well decorated. I appreciated the microwave, one-cup coffee pot, and free wi-fi. The water pressure in the shower was very good. I was on the first floor in the back and there was some noise in the morning but it didn't bother me. The hot breakfast bar was better than in most hotels. If I ever get stuck in Franklin again, this is where I am going to stay.

« Best Western Franklin INN is the "IN" place to stay when coming to this town .... »

It was the death of a dear friend that required me to travel to this city in which I wasn't sure just where to stay in terms of hotel but the family suggested this location so I booked the room and will forever be grateful that I listened and chose to stay here. The courtesy of these professionals was most kind, gracious, and helpful. The price was reasonable and the room was nice and comfortable.

    3
    « Lighting and noise »

Very friendly staff, great breakfast and clean room. The outside lighting was very bright and the curtain would not keep the light out. There was a lot of shouting outside by other guests which made it even harder to sleep. Also, the mattress was HARD! Great staff though.

    5
« When in Nashville saty here »

You will not be disappointed if you stay here. Less than half hour drive to Nashville and close to fast food, grocery stores for snacks and Charlie's is walking distance away and reasonably priced for what you want.

    5
    « well located clean »

Great value, clean, helpful, accommodating located well I would stay again. Had a pancake making machine Novel and good. Staff was really interested that you were happy with their facility. The only thing I would ask for is a desk chair. I stayed in a handicap room which was great for my age and felt very secure but I think maybe they needed room in the unit so couldn't have desk chair

    4
    « Good option »

This is an older and large BW in a popular area. It is well maintained and very clean but our mattress "sloped" on one side and was not particularly comfortable. We were unable to partake in their extensive and delicious looking breakfast but the coffee was very good

    5
    « Great Hotel! »

Staff was great! We enjoyed our stay. I would recommend this hotel to anyone wanting to come and hang out in Nashville. Internet service was wonderful as well. If we needed anything, someone was quick to help out.

  • 5
    « Excellent »

Excellent except a lack of complimentary breakfast. You have to pay. Staff was great. Except understaffed, only one young black man trying hard to help several EARLY EARLY check outs. He was wonderful but some customers were frustrated trying to find him. I knew he was doing something else for another customer.

    1
« Don't stay here unless you have to... »

You get what you pay for here... And this place is a hole in the wall. The service was awful, the room smelled bad, the refrigerator didn't work. And the bathroom was awful. So yeah. Don't stay here...

    3
« Good for the rate »

Good location-short distance to downtown, close to interstate connection. Room was clean and comfortable. Too few parking space. Would consider staying again as we enjoyed Franklin-- charming downtown and many restaurants to choose from.

    4
    « Clean, pet friendly! »

We were very pleased with our stay of one night. Check in was seamless. Our room was on bottom floor , which was very convenient since we had our dog with us. The room looked to be newly updated and was very clean. The bed was very comfortable, pillows a little hard for my taste. There are a couple of washer and dryers available for guest use. Restaurants and a grocery store are within walking distance. Breakfast was typical, but the attendant kept things clean and nicely maintained. Would definitely stay here again.

    5
    « Great service »

Staff was very helpful. Clean comfortable rooms. We were there with a high school wrestling team and parents and fans. They handles our large group with ease. Convenient to the interstate and downtown Franklin. Very reasonable rate.

    « They allow pets! »

Traveling to and from Florida with our cocker spaniel we needed a hotel that would accept pets. For $20 more, we were able to keep him with us. Bed was comfortable - breakfast was okay and checking in/out was easy.

« My review fo BW in Franklin TN »

The rooms are recently refurbished and very clean. I booked about 2 weeks in advance and received a super good price. I will certainly recommend to anyone it's a great deal, close to where I needed to be for business and about 1/3 the price the others in my group paid who stayed elsewhere.

    4
    « hotel stay »

The hotel was in a convenient area accessible to I 65 and easy entrance and exit. Room was satisfactory and staff was helpful, breakfast had a good selection. Pillows could be more comfortable other than that we were very pleased with entrance to hotel, staff helpful etc

« Don't Let the Outside Fool You »

My husband and I were looking for a place to stay in Tennessee while traveling to Illinois. Usually we don't like to stay at hotels where you enter the room from outside. We drove up and had 2nd thoughts, we are so glad that we gave it a chance. The room had 2 queen beds, microwave and refrigerator plus the standard amenities. The room smelled pleasant, carpets were clean, beds made with plenty of pillows and also clean. Bathroom was also clean. We are so happy that we came and the price was right. Hotel staff was courteous and plenty of things to do and restaurants in the area.

    5
    « Thumbs up »

I travel a considerable amount of the year across the US. This was my first experience with this hotel and my overall impression was very good. Check in was fast and the front desk staff was very courteous. The property is fairly large but well maintained on the outside. I can only vouch for my room, but is was spacious, well lighted and quite comfortable. I carry a black light flashlight to inspect the rooms cleanliness invisible in normal light. My hat's off to the cleaning staff, the room was virtually spotless (bathroom included) under blacklight inspection. I often stay at several of the 5 star chains and many are unbelievably nasty when exposed UV blacklight. I stayed for four nights and was very happy with my accommodations. I highly recommend this hotel and will definitely stay here again on my next trip to Franklin.

We were happy with the over-all experience. Parking lot and walks were snow covered and ice covered from snow serveral days earlier and was a safety issue. Wi Fi was good and the room was comfortable. I would definitely stay there again.

« Very pleased with our stay. »

This was a nice hotel for our family. We chose it last minute while traveling through Tennessee. Our room was clean and appeared to be recently updated. We were also pleased with the options available for the continental breakfast. If we visit the area again, we would be happy to stay at this hotel.

    5
    « Great overnight »

On our way to Orange Beach, this is our go to hotel for the night. It's clean, convenient (right off I-65) and has a good breakfast. We are also allowed to have our dog with us. They are very accommodating about giving us a 1st floor room since we have the do and my mother who is 84 with us.

    5
    « Excellent Choice »

We stayed at this location on our way to Florida and after a long day of driving this was a wise choice to stop at. The room was fairly small, but the bed and bathroom were well kept and clean. The highlight was the breakfast--a large variety of hot food choices and a friendly staff.

    5
    « Wonderful stay! »

We had a great time. The air conditioning was wonderful! It was cold when we visited and it was nice walking into a warm room! The staff was wonderful and polite! I did not personally see the cleaning staff, but they were busy working. The parking how ever could be a little better with out the bumps in them. That is the only sore spot, But overall the stay was great! It was also a great spot because everything was in walking distance! Publix was near buy and I could just walk over and also the starbucks.

    « Surprised »

Great time.. Seeing family and wanted/needed a place that allowed pets. Nice surprise to find a place with great room (clean.. no odor, not even lint on floor) at a wonderful price! From the gent checking us in to the lady checking us quickly out.. wonderful! Even the lady that was setting-up the breakfast was friendly!

For the money we paid this hotel was great. Even if I was nitpicking I would be hard pressed to find fault with this convenient stop along the way. Just needed a clean place to lay my head and this more than filled the bill.

« Nice stop for quick night on road trip »

My husband and were driving from FL to WI and this was about half way point. Pulled over late at night for a couple hours sleep. Room was clean. Check in was friendly. Breakfast was adequate. Nothing to write home about but my son loved the automatic pancake machine. It is an older home but seems to be taken care of well.

    « Great value! »

My family and I got a great deal per night and the reviews were excellent so we booked a hotel room for our family vacation. I was pleasantly surprised by the lobby and our room was very nice. We got a king sized bed for my husband and toddler. We enjoyed the complimentary breakfast each morning, our room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and the staff was very friendly.

    « Clean and Comfortable »

This was a good value for the money. It was clean and comfortable. An older hotel but updated. A good value with no problems. The beds were good and the room was quiet. If you're on the second floor it's a bit more effort as you enter the rooms from the outside. No inside hallways. But the price is much less than an enclosed hotel.

    5
« Excellent Quality for Cost »

« Extremely disappointed with my Best Western Franklin Inn stay (1/1/2016-1/2/2016) »

I'd like to express a concern with my most recent stay at the Best Western Franklin Inn Friday 1/1/2016-Saturday 1/2/2016. My friend and I were initially assigned to Room #201 and we were disgusted with what we saw in that room. Below is a list of what we witnessed: Trash on the floor A thick, black, smeary, tar-like substance on the floor Hair (several different colors and textures) on the pillows and in-between the sheets/comforters on both beds Dingy, white sheets/comforters/pillowcases A variety of spots and stains on the sheets and pillows on both beds Needless to say, we immediately requested a new room. Upon being moved to Room #230, we found it to be a little better but not by much. Both beds had 1) dingy, white sheets/comforters/pillowcases, 2) hair (several different colors and textures) on the pillows and in-between the sheets/comforters, and 3) still a variety of spots and stains were on the sheets and pillows. This was still very disgusting to us. Housekeeping agreed to provide us with new sheets/comforters/pillowcases for one (1) of the beds. He brought them to the room, dropped them on the bed, and left. In shock, we had to call him back in order to have him change the bed's linen. That was intensely strange customer service to us. Moreover, when we looked at the white towels before showering the next morning, they were dingy and soiled looking. Lastly, after awaking the next morning, we saw bugs in the room commonly known as "stink bugs". Respectfully, included with the campaign, "Best Western For A Better World", should be "Best Western For A MUCH Better Room". My friend and I were highly turned off my this specific Best Western location and are surely unlikely to support other locations around the country. I understand that "Best Western is committed to providing superior customer care at all Best Western hotels". However, we felt like $81.00 (the 20% discounted total price that I haggled Nick for after numerous complaints about the rooms) for one (1) night, was not a fair price for the negative points I listed above. These are areas where "providing an excellent customer experience" was definitely overlooked. I appreciate your attention to this matter and will look forward to your response. Thanks and Happy New Year!!! Cordially, Patrick Noble Allen 678-637-5395

« clean and inviting, nice decor »

Very impressed with hotel and staff. Room was very clean and inviting. Beautiful bed linens and modern decor, and not to forget a very comfortable bed made me feel right at home! Will definitely choose this hotel for future stays.

    « Affordable and clean »

Basic and affordable accomodation, near i-65. Nothing fancy, but the room was very clean and well-kept. The bathroom had a slightly moldy smell, but I didn't see evidence of any mold. Though it was near the highway and shopping/restaurants, our room was quiet.

We come to the area every December and June, however this was our first stay at this Best Western but it will not be our last. Clean, quiet rooms, with awesome night clerk who called our room to check if everything was to our satisfaction the first night. Breakfast from 6:00 - 9:00 am. Both hot and cold choices (normal continental breakfast). Easy in and out located off I-65 in Franklin, TN. Shoney's located next door, but Pasta & Cream across the road. Name says it all. Awesome Pasta and great ice cream.

Very nice staff, clean rooms! It was a great location for what we needed. Easy access to local shops and restaurants. I loved the checkout time which was 12:00 instead of 11:00, which gave us more time to recover from the trip and rest in.

    « Two Night Stay »

« Best Western Franklin Inn, Franklin TN »

Very reasonable rate compared to competitors just 10 minutes north. The room was clean; bed was comfortable enough. I slept pretty well. Breakfast was good, though I would have liked to see more fresh fruit. The staff were friendly and professional. I would recommend this to hotel and will likely use it again myself

    3
« Good for the money. »

Not enough parking spaces though there is probably enough room to mark spaces if they would make the effort. We had to park a long distance from our room after we came in from dinner out. Room was nice but small. Good location but on a very busy street. Instead of turning left out of the front driveway (needing to cross threes lanes of busy traffic!), go out the back which brings you around to a traffic light. Nice breakfast included.

« Not a bad place to lay your head »

I stayed at this hotel this past November while in Tennessee for business. This hotel was sufficient for my needs. Breakfast was well appointed, like most Best Westerns. The location was also convenient with countless shops and restaurants within walking distance. I had to be in Franklin for a convention so this hotel was near by but if you are looking to do something in DT Nashville this hotel may be a little out of the way.

« Best of the Best Western Chain »

Very Clean, Great Location for Nashville activities. Staff is friendly and breakfast is good. My only reason for not giving it an excellent rating is the noise of the other guests (construction workers) and inability to park near my room.

    3
    « It's okay but nothing special »

Not a horrible choice but it was noisy and only average. I booked through Travelocity so there was no real checkout. I asked for a receipt and was told that I would have to get that online via Travelocity. I guess they don't like for you to book with an online agency. The breakfast was really good with a good variety of items. The lobby seemed always busy with "meetings" and so it made it difficult to use the lobby computer. We were only there for a few nights so it was ok.

« Clean and renovated, but still too much for accomodations »

Was making a 750 mile road trip and like to stop in Frankin TN to break it up. Our usual stay is the Hilton Garden Inn. Found out it was fully booked, as many others near by. Other hotels were running $200 a night- too much for just a bed to sleep in!!! Found this hotel on TA. Was just average; granted for an old two story, outside door room motel, it has been updated with new furnishings. But small room, and I think at $92 a night for a double bed, overpriced. I would only recommend it if EVERYTHING ELSE is booked, and you are passing through Nashville, not seeing the sights there. Decent free breakfast (scrambled eggs, waffles, biscuits and gravy, etc)

« Franklin TN Best Western »

Good value. Very clean. Very convenient location - could walk to grocery store and a wide choice of restaurants. A large playground is on site which you don't usually ever see at a hotel. Looked like some very good conference facilities probably at a value cost.

    4
« Great Location with all the Amenities »

Room was comfortable and the breakfast was good. The location was very convenient and easy to find. There was lots to do nearby with many good restaurants. Even the artwork on the walls was nice. There was plenty of parking. Lobby was nice as well.

« Great staff, great location. »

First, the staff was wonderful - very friendly, helpful, accommodating. They make staying there a wonderful experience. The building itself is not the best - an older motel model that does not allow for good air flow in the rooms. Our heater fan made noise - the equipment seems very old & outdated. In spite of this, the room was comfortable & it was definitely clean. Breakfast choices were pretty good - they even have soy milk, which is great for those of us with lactose issues. :) The oil-based margarine product provided is tasteless - I would recommend also offering real butter. There is a pancake machine; also, fresh fruit, yogurt, eggs & a breakfast meat are offered. Overall, it was a pleasant stay.

« Great hotel for traveling with a small dog »

This hotel worked out great for us as we were traveling with our small dog. There is a lot of green space around the property and as a bonus, there's a Starbucks within walking distance! The property is older and has exterior doors (which I really like traveling with a pet), the rooms are clean and the decor is fine. It seemed like a family owned property and I felt like the family took pride of ownership in their hotel. We would definitely stay here again if we travel with our pet. Note: they do charge a $20 pet fee which I didn't see anywhere when I was making the reservation.

    « Pleasantly surprised »

When I pulled up I was surprised to discover this was a motel rather than a hotel - I usually do not select places without outside entrances to my room. We were able to pull up right to our room, there was no noise through the night, the room was very nice and clean. I will definitely stay here again next time I am in Franklin.

    « B/W Steps up! »

I've been staying here off and on for about 10 years and decided to try it again mainly due to the points I was finally able to use. Glad I did so I can give an update. They have stepped up their approach! All new lobby and rooms(Most are done so be sure to ask for on...it makes a huge difference). Nicely done. Very nice people and did so much without having to ask. The rates did go up but are in line with the other motels around except maybe the Quality and it is not that great but about 20-30 cheaper. Try to use a discount at the B/W. The 2 night stay was excellent and I'll be back in the Spring.

The employee at check in very friendly. We were traveling with a very small dog so the pull up rooms on ground level was great. The problem I had was that the room smelled so strong of disinfectant that my eyes burned an throat got scratchy, was actually scared to go to sleep the Oder was so strong. I called the front desk an ask if they had something to pull the odor out but was told all they had was room deodorizer. Certainly didn't need anymore odor. I was then told them there was nothing they could do. So be sure you are not put in a previous pet room, unless this is regular procedure for all their rooms.

    « Nice »

Stayed there for two nights with my family. Decent hotel, very good service at the front desk. Accommodation is suitable to the price. I recommend it for no more than 2 or 3 nights, since the rooms are small and the parking is just behind the room, which means some noise late and early in the day.

« Great value, friendly and helpful »

Great experience, friendly and helpful staff. Breakfast was wonderful, hot and well prepared. Room was clean and well equipped. Pet friendly with reasonable rates. Laundry was available at reasonable rate. Good parking and area was well lit. Highly recommend it!

« Good value for the money »

We were originally reluctant to stay at a hotel with the old "motel" feel (doors to the parking lot), but the rooms were surprisingly clean and modern, with the exception of the doors to the bathroom. Beds were very nice and it was very quiet. The location is great, with access to multiple restaurants and retails stores near by. Breakfast was also good.

    « Awesome Experience »

I am extremely happy with Best Western Franklin, TN and the staff there. I stay there monthly and I left my FitBit there last month. I called them much later in the day after check-out and asked them to check my room to retrieve it and I would pick it up the following month. I am extremely pleased to tell you they retrieved my FitBit and I picked it up this month when I returned. Talk about an awesome staff. Thanks so much! You ROCK!

My wife and I spent two nights here and were treated with great respect and with a sincere interest in our needs and desires. The room was very clean and well furnished with quality furniture and appliances. We will stay there next time we go to Franklin and would recommend this motel and its excellent staff to anyone going to Franklin, Tennessee.

Nice, comfortable room. Outstanding staff. Very personable and helpful. Called my room just to make sure everything looked OK after I checked in. Great breakfast. Only negative: outside entrance to rooms. Would stay here again.

The office staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was decent, could use updated shower but clean, bed was extremely comfortable. Love the afternoon checkout time. Will definitely return when visiting family.

    « Clean, comfortable & quiet »

This motel was clean, comfortable and quiet. The staff was polite and helpful. The location was only about three miles from the Historic District, which was where we were going. Overall, it was a good stay for the money. I'll probably use their services again when I'm in Franklin.

« Road trip to New Orleans »

Good hotel set up like a motel with the lobby in centre and the rooms behind. Very pleasant and helpful staff. The room was clean and comfortable with plenty of towels and hot water. Nice hot breakfast included in the reasonable price and the hotel was close to amenities. Would definitely stay here again.

    3
    « Quick overnight »

The rooms are decent, but this is an updated old-fashioned motel with no interior lobby. Cars were parked right up the room door. The bathroom sink area was updated and looked nice. My husband thought the mattress was very comfortable - more than other stops along our way. Staff was very nice too.

« Quiet, Friendly and Clean with a great price »

After staying at this Best Western for two nights, it is hard to remember staying somewhere that had better service and amenities for less than $90 a night! Everything at the Franklin Inn seems new. Our room was spacious and the beds were incredibly comfortable. The breakfasts that are included with your room charge were fantastic. You are offered a wide selection of items from pancakes to fresh cooked muffins. While the inn seemed rather full with guests, there was always plenty of parking. We checked in and checked out easily and quickly. All the staff we interacted with were professional and very friendly. You cannot beat the location as it is just yards from an interstate entrance and less than 10 minutes from downtown Franklin as well as an easy drive to Brentwood and Nashville. On top of that, you are within walking distance of several restaurants and very close to a shopping area and a gas station. We have stayed at Best Westerns before usually with great results though this visit even exceeded our expectations. I would strongly recommend the Franklin in, not matter if you are visiting the area for business or for pleasure.

Nice place for overnight stop. Older but clean and well maintained. Room had a bit of smoke smell even though was non smoking room. Common areas very nice. Breakfast items included eggs, sausage, biscuits/gravy, make your own pancakes along with usual continental breakfast items.

    « Four Thumbs Up!! »

Wife and I had a wonderful stay and fantastic service. Best breakfast of our trip by far. Totally blew away expectations. Staff was friendly and helpful. We would recommend this Best Western to anyone traveling through Middle Tennessee.

« Will stay here again »

Great Place, Great Value, Great People. Highly Recommend, next time we are in the area, we will certainly stay here. Make sure you talk too Mary at breakfast. She is a great resource for area information. You will definitely want to go to Pucketts in Leipers Fork. Tasty meat and two in a quaint small town.

    « nice room »

Everything was great from start to finish, clean room, comfortable bed, nice employees, But the chairs were terrible, so uncomfortable it was hard to sit in them for more than a few minutes. They would be terrible for a large person.

« Great hotel. Great price »

We decided to stay at this hotel after reading reviews on Trip Advisor and we also had a coupon. The staff was very friendly and the rooms was great. The room was large. Cable and Wi-Fi were great too. We didn't try the breakfast because we usually don't like the continental type breakfast and prefer to go to a restaurant. I would definitely stay here again!!

« Best Western Franklin Inn »

This is a good place to stay for the money. It is very quiet. The management is making improvements as they can. The staff is very friendly. The continental breakfast is very good with a wide variety of items. As the improvements continue, it will become an even better place to stay. I was greeted very well upon my arrival. The only negative I had was there was not a striker plate for the door to our bathroom. The door would stay shut but not tightly.

    « Average but that's ok! »

Clean room. I personally didn't like the bathroom sink situated in the main room and not located in the toilet/bath area. Slept in so I didn't have the breakfast. Very nice interactions with front desk at check in and check out. Plenty of well lit parking. Lots of food choices close by. If you don't mind the sink in the sleeping area then this is a fine accommodation.

    « 2 night stay in Franklin. »

When we checked in the woman was sort of rude. Didn't have any problems with that after that afternoon. Beds and pillows were very comfy. Slept very well. Room was clean but nothing fancy. Breakfast was really good. It was much more that we expected. Only real complaint was that the soap dispenser in the shower was empty and didn't get filled the two days we were there. Luckily we found a small bar of hand soap that we used in the shower. It worked fine. In their defense, we didn't complain about the soap dispenser. It is also in a great location with a Shoneys right next door.

    « Clean, Friendly, Convenient »

Very accommodating staff, no attitudes here just smiles! Was In the area for a long weekend getaway and wanted to do things in Franklin and NVille. Found the location right off I65 convenient for both. Room was clean and modern w/adequate amenities (King, No smoking) included a blowdryer, iron and board, fridge, 32" tv. Breakfast is included and if you like either; cereal, pastries, fresh fruit, eggs, sausage, biscuits, cream gravy, choice of juices coffee, etc. then you won't be disappointed. We weren't. BTW there is a rear entrance with access to a Publix, Home depot, etc shopping Center. I'll stay here again.

    « GREAT STAY »

Close to many familiar shopping stores, restaurants and fast food places. easily access to I-65 and downtown Nashville . The room was just right having had a pet which had plenty of room for just his items. Rooms were very clean (newly renovated) helps. The bed was a bit hard from what I am used too but still comfortable. The staff was very attentive and breakfast was just what you needed to start the day.

    « Franklin stay »

Coming off the interstate using a gps is not an easy task. Best approach is to approach from the rear and that is not obviously marked. Hotel is not bad. Rooms are removed from the lobby, comfortable. Be aware there is a gym over room(s) and an abundance of contract worker tenants who are a bit noisy at times. This is for sure our stay.

    4
    « Very Comfortable Stay »

This is a very large place with two buildings of rooms - I'd guess there are about 150 rooms. The lobby was are and attractively decorated and checkin was very nice. Nick, in particular, was efficient and friendly with a good sense of humor. We had a very nice room for the price and the motel is a great place to avoid the high prices in Nashville. Our room was nicely decorated and had all needed amenities. All was clean. The TV was a good size that fit the room well. The facial tissues are in a box next to the ice bucket on top of the refrigerator/microwave cabinet which, in our room, was located near the window. I looked a long time for those tissues! The bathroom in our room had the most unusual faucet ever - the handle was below the spout! I asked for, and received, a first floor room. Rooms that face away from the road are very quiet so you might want to ask for one of these if you are concerned about road noise. Two complaints - the internet was very inconsistent and frustrating to use. My advise is to not plan on having internet to avoid disappointment. They did have a nice charging station sitting on the night stand adjacent to the easy chair which was super for charging and using your electronics at the same time. The bed was soft - it was fine for one night but probably not longer. Breakfast was pedestrian. The gravy was good but the scrambled eggs were the ?chunky blocks? kind. It would be great if they offered skim and 2% or whole milk instead of the 2% and whole milk they offered. Whole and 2% are much closer to each other in fat content than most people realize so having 2% and whole as the choices is almost no choice. I will absolutely stay here again if I need a room near Nashville.

    « Good Accomodations »

We spent two nights at this location while we spent time sightseeing in the area. This hotel is close to many restaurants and grocery stores, and was easy to access from the main road. The staff were extremely friendly and accomodating, and the breakfast offered had a good number of choices. The bed and beddign were clean and comfortable. We used the washer and dryer in the laundry room for guests, and appreciated the wifi. Although the property could use a bit of updating, the overall experience we had was a good stay, with a clean room, and we would stay again if we were in the area.

« Pretty good for the Money »

This is an older hotel that was very clean with some updates. The hotel was very nice for the price. Breakfast was one of the best I have had in the Best Western chain. Management is going the extra mile to make very thing as perfect as they can but this still is an older property that sometimes shows it age...there is only so much lipstick you can apply until it shows. I was surprised that the outdoor pool was set up and ready to go in October, because the daytime temp was 80 degrees. This property is obviously very popular, every unit was occupied and the desk was turning away customers. We addressed a number of items with management prior to our departure. Like I said, the place needs some attention, however I would stay there again when in the area.

« Pleasant Place to Stay »

The staff was very helpful answering questions about local attractions to visit, places to eat and shop, and providing accurate directions. Room was comfortable and clean. The free breakfast was typical of most motels offering a hot breakfast. I appreciated the free "snack sack" containing an apple, a granola bar, and bottled water that I was given when I checked out - came in handy on the long drive home!

    « Improved »

I had stayed at this hotel in years past. There have been upgrades to the entry, breakfast, and the rooms. The bed was very hard and I did not sleep very well, and the bathroom door did not close all the way. It is an old building but it is OK for a cheaper price. On the positive, the employees were very professional and helpful. Breakfast was one of the best upgrades. The room was clean and it worked well otherwise.

« Clean, quiet hotel, conveniently located. »

My husband and I were on a business trip and We stayed a total of 6 days. Our first night we got into town early and checked in last minute. Had a ground floor room parking right in front. next day we checked in again, this time for 5 days, I requested a ground floor room as I injured my knee earlier that morning but the receptionist looked at me hesitsntly and said no. I was rather annoyed a few minutes later when I peeked into 5 freshly made rooms on the ground level which we could have possibly been given. I felt bad for my husband who had just carried most of our luggage upstairs to the second floor, so I didn't complain about it. We really struggled with finding a parking spot, we ended up parking next to the stair well. Room was clean, beds were comfy. Three days into our stay we woke up to a call at 6am from reception letting us know we needed to check out so someone could come to perform maintenance in the room. After a long night working I really didn't appreciate a call that early in the morning, we moved again this time back on the ground floor. The rest of our stay was fine. Breakfast was good, showers were warm etc.. I'd suggest fixing the parking situation. Many rooms to board people and not many places parking is not good. Also front desk need to be more aware of courtesy calls, 6am is too early. Decent stay away from home. Laundry available as well.

room was comfortable and clean. appreciated all soaps and lotions were in wall mounted dispensers and environmentally friendly (no containers in landfill) Room was quiet. Shower spiket was about 7 feet up the wall and too high. There were 4 half size pillows on each bed..prefer standard size pillows. Loved location just a few hundred feet off I-65 would stay again.

« Very Happy with Value »

This place met my expectations and for the area was IMHO one of the better hotels. Breakfast was plentiful and the staff did a great job. Area was safe to walk to and from restaurants and the room was clean and sufficient. Parking was plentiful. I'd stay in this hotel again.

    « Best Price, close to I 65 »

This was the best pricd hotel, close to Nashville where my husband had a medical proceedure. There is a huge playground for children and a pool, and lots and lots of restaurants within walking distance. (There is no sidewalk from the hotel to the first stoplight, but afterwards there were sidewalks and we walked to Garcias Restaurant). We were on the very end and it was mostly quiet, the street is busy and noisy. The staff called us later in the day to ask if everything was alright in our room, which was a first, and a plus. The room was good, the pillows were strangely small, the loo was tiny but the tub was nice, and kind of reclined. Most importantly, we'd stay here again. Good breakfast with attentive staff.

    « A great stay! A great value! »

My husband and I were looking for someplace to stay in Franklin that was nice, but at a reasonable price, and in a convenient location. We have stayed at Best Western hotels before, and have been happy with our stay. So we chose this hotel. It was more than we expected, and the price was very reasonable. The room was very nice, with two comfortable chairs, a small table and a refrigerator. It was nicely decorated and the bathroom was also very nice. It was located close to every place we wanted to go. We would definitely stay here again.

We have stayed here twice in the last month. The room have been clean and t he staff very nice. Will definitely stay here in the future. The breakfast is like all others nothing special. This is a large hotel, however, we couldn't get a room on our last visit in the area.
