Best Western Inn Florence

We had a poor experience at the BW in Florence, KY. Among other things: there was a very bad odour upon entering the room, the Kleenex box was empty, the remote for the TV barely worked, no clock in the room, no USB ports, the Jacuzzi had cracks in the caulking exposing a lot of dirt and grime, the sink did not drain very well, and there were only three thin towels for the two of us. BW always asks for customers to do a review after their stay. I did so, mentioning all of the above and did not hear back from anybody at BW. So that was disappointing. We normally stay at BWs across the country but this particular location did not live up the usual BW standards. We won't be staying there again.

Do not stay here. Sheets had holes, chairs in room and lobby are stained. They double charged us now telling us we will get the money back in 7-15 days depending on who you talk to. We're very rude on the phone. It's been 5 days so hopefully will get my money back eventually. Apparently not an isolated incident as we her her on the phone with someone else trying to fix there's while there.

We stayed here the night before our flight. This location is close to the airport and to restaurants as well. The property was quiet and we did not hear our neighbors. The person that checked us in was very friendly and making jokes even though it was somewhat late.

At first I was a little disappointed by our welcome at check in but once in our room it was obvious the manager believes in little touches. We had a welcome letter and two bottles of water waiting (platinum status). Upon leaving we had a thanks for staying email with our receipt. The room was comfortable and clean. My only complaint was a bathtub that drained poorly. We did hear early morning air traffic. Otherwise this was a better stay than other budget friendly accommodations.

I left my room to go get breakfast, trying to hurry I left my hotel key inside the room. As I go up to the desk I waited about 5 mins for someone to help me. The lady, her name is Tammy already had a very mean attitude. I kindly told her I left my key inside the room and asked what I needed to do. She rudely asked me for my ID, as I had to remind her I just left the room for breakfast all of my belongings are inside of the room. She got very upset with me and started getting aggressive telling me that there's nothing she could do for me with no ID. After I had to beg Tammy to help me out in this situation, she annoyedly asked me my name and room number. I proceeded to tell Tammy the information, since Tammy was already in a nasty mood she “misheard” me say another room number. After she thought I was “lying” bc she made a mistake I showed her my reservation for the hotel, trying to explain to her that I have a room. Tammy continues to get aggressive with me telling me that I am a “liar” and I need to leave. She then proceeded to say “there is no room with that name on the second floor”. Mind you I never said I was on the second floor I was on the first! After I told her that she made a mistake she got even more upset with me and told me that “I” could not speak to her like that. Mind you I am an African American. After the amount of disrespect and ignorance I have received from Tammy I got rude back with her. She admittedly told me she was calling the cops on me and was going to have my things thrown out of the hotel. After this heartbreaking and unfair behavior i walked back to my room waiting for the cops to show up. After 10 mins of waiting for the police they came up to me and asked me what happened. As I explained the situation they did not have nothing to say. They admittedly told me I was banned and I could not come back to the hotel. After everything Tammy had put me through I just said ok. I didn't want to come back after how I've been treated from Tammy. The police let me into my room and told me I needed to pack and leave also asking for my ID. As I was packing 6-8 police officers was standing in my room WATCHING me pack my things. Like I was some kind of threat. The amount of discrimination, racism and trauma Tammy had caused me will always sit with me. I got treated unfairly with an amount of disrespect all because of the color of my skin. After I paid my hard earned money for this stay, trying to relax and enjoy myself. Tammy wanted to pick on the brown kid.

Stay at "Worst Western" Florence, Kentucky Verbatim conversation at front desk upon arrival at 2:35 PM on February 18th. Woman behind desk scowled in an unfriendly, unwelcoming manner. Woman: "Can I help you" Me: Yes we have reservations for today. Woman: Well we have no rooms ready we have been short staffed. I will give you a room but its $15. early check in charge until 3pm. Me: At almost a $1 a minute for the room early We will just sit here. There were table chairs in the Lobby. Woman: You cannot sit here and wait. That would be defeating the purpose. You will be using the hotel services you have to pay the $15 fee to sit inside the hotel. They don't let you in Walmart before it opens do they?. Me: OK we will wait in the car until 3pm but its cold outside. We went and sat in the car until 3PM. Is this deranged or what? Is the hotel so desperate for money! Best Western may not be our next hotel.

Nice modern hotel convenient to freeway but not close enough to hear the traffic. We were traveling from interstate and booked this hotel because of the comfort and reputation of the hotel chain and its location.

The hotel was average. The room price was high compared to the cleanliness of the room and options for breakfast. Bathroom was not clean (tub was dirty and floors hadn't been swept). Close to airport which resulted in noise from planes in and out.

So many things to do in the Cincinnati area. Stay at the Best Western in Florence Ky for easy access to amenities, clean hotel and reasonably priced. Be a rewards member like me. The program is awesome and I have stayed several times for free! The staff at Florence BW also decorate the lobby for the seasons. I know it's not the reason to stay but it speaks volumes to the dedicated caring staff. Makes you feel like your home! The most comfortable beds and pillows. I'm not fibbing-we've even purchased their pillows on line before because the bedding at a BW is awesome.

Had a good stay there. Nice and close to the Airport and a lot of places close to eat. Right off the freeway. Room was nice and liked the breakfast lot of choices. They had some water and lemonade there it was nice. I am planning on staying again.

The manager, Kary, went above and beyond to make us comfortable. She made a new reservation for us for on our way home. She printed out the directions for us. She even gave us her cell number if we had any problems. The room was great. The breakfast was good. This is a great place to stay if you are going to the Ark Encounter and Creation Museum.

From the time you walk in to the time your stay is over, you will know the people who work there care. To name a few, Brianna at the front desk, Jean and Fed in the overall cleaning. Room was simple, but top notch. Breakfast was always enjoyable and excellent. Been to many different classes of Best Western type of hotels. This one could easily be Plus.

Night girl at check in went above and beyond and was great, but the morning person could care less about guests or hotel. Was more worried about having a cigarette. She was asked by me to have the shower fixed while we went to the zoo for the day. Wanted to come back and take a shower before the concert we went to. Shower wasnt fixed so couldn't shower before concert. Hope that cigarette was worth it.

We had such a wonderful stay here. We had 3 rooms and they were able to put us close to one another. The outdoor pool was great. The breakfast met our deeds each morning. Staff were very kind and helped with directions. Room was excellent and clean. We will be letting friends know to stay here when they go visit the Ark and Creation Museum. Thank you for such a wonderful stay Best Western Florence Kentucky.

I went with 3 friends. Each of us booked separate rooms. Our rooms reaped of smells of strong cigarette smoke, dogs, possible chemicals, and other stale odors. We cancelled our rooms and booked at another hotel which was exhausting after 6 hours of driving. I do not recommend staying at this hotel. The health department should inspect this hotel. Unable to photo odors.

We had a clean, comfortable room. The staff was friendly and attentive. We enjoyed breakfast. It was a very quiet area. Easy to get on and off the highway. A short distance from Cincinnati and Lexington. Would definitely stay there again.

Our room was filthy! My husbands feet were black from walking in the carpet. Management would t love us to another room even though it was available. They gave us half off the rate but never even apologized when we checked out. Something gooey and sticky on the night stand. Never again.

Stayed two nights as we made a trip to the Ark Encounter on way back from Tennessee. Very clean room/motel and very friendly staff. Did not use pool or fitness area and did not take part in breakfast offered due to dietary restrictions. Overall excellent value.

Great for a quick trip and prepared for same food served for breakfast. Room was cleaned daily and had a good stay for 6 nights Close to Ark and creation Museam but it's a busy area for driving in. Pillows are too squishy bring your own!

So much effort was put into making our stay great!Snacks, coffee, tea,lemonade with fruit and ice water in the lobby the whole time. Water bottles and candy in the beds.CLEAN room/lobby.Hot breakfast!

This hotel is in the middle of it all, The Newport Aquarium, The creation museum,The Ark encounter, and Cincinnati. Rate is excellent for the accommodations. It's clean and staff friendly. Couldn't have picked a better place to stay.

Everysingle week they give some bs about our reservations glitching but they are just canceling our reservations to make room for when they can upcharge more. This has happened 3 weeks in 1 month. They always say our reservations are there untill we show up to check in

I was very happy with this stay at this Best Western. They had a good variety for a hot breakfast including bacon and berries on one morning. I walked 5 mins to the closest Speedway to get a really good coffee every morning . The beds were very comfy and the showers were amazing. This hotel was very close to some good shopping and nice restaurants in driving distance. The City Barbeque restaurant was really good southern BBQ. There was also a nice Olive Garden restaurant. This location was very close to the I-75 in both directions. It was a 30 min drive to the Ark Encounter and a 30 min drive to the Cincinnati Zoo from the hotel. I would definitely recommend this hotel and come back again.

This hotel must be run by Cheech and Chong. The ENTIRE hotel smelled like weed. Lobby, hallway, elevator. Front desk girl with the nose ring was nice but said they can't do anything about people getting high outside. Seemed to be know some of the traveling workers staying there. Hotel dated with deferred maintenance but room was ok and pretty clean.

Nothing fancy but super clean, comfortable beds. Hotel clerk at front desk was super nice. They always have juice and coffee for free in lobby. Has well lit parking lot. Hotel is convenient to airport. Reasonable price for such a nice hotel.

We always stay here on our way to Florida. Our room with a king bed is a good size and we had a great sleep. Breakfast meets all of our needs. Zero issues with the internet. Check in was quick, efficient and friendly.

The hostess for check in was very nice. Fresh fruit and cookies were available. The room was clean and nice. A quiet hotel. Easy to get to - right off the Interstate. We slept well and everything was comfortable. Great hot breakfast - eggs, bacon, cereal, waffles, etc.

The hotel was very clean and staff were professional. Really like that BW allows pets as we travel with our dog. Works perfect! Perfect for travelling the I 75 as it's right at the highway but we didn't hear the traffic at night. There were quite a few restaurants in the area and the desk manager assisted us in locating one for dinner and it was great. Thank you!!

Overall the visit was good. Hotel lost out reservation even though I already paid for it. Even confirmed reservation the week of visit. Had to pay twice. Waiting to hear about refund. Hotel check-in staff was not helpful

We checked in for 2 nights (Friday and Saturday). Friday it was fine but Saturday wasn't. Tried to go to bed at 10pm and it was loud (people talking loud, slamming doors, music etc). Finally at Midnight I complained. Front desk person was very apologetic and put us in a new room. But, the new floor and room smelled of weed. But we were so exhausted we just went to sleep. We had our dog with us and he was very nervous and on alert the whole weekend. Pros -Hotel Staff are nice -Breakfast you have a good assortment (make your own waffle, cereal, biscuit and gravy, etc) -Great walking area for a dog Cons -Noisy. We stayed in room 111 and could hear everything since it was by the lobby. Don't stay in a room close to it or you will have the same issue. 2nd room we stayed in was on the 3rd floor and it was noisy from planes and outside noise (location very near I75 and airport). Didn't hear it in our first room on the first floor but did in the second which was on the 3rd floor. -You can hear everything from people talking to doors being slammed shut -Outdated rooms. They were clean which was important but you can tell it's been used a lot. The floors for the pet side had hardwood so it didn't smell like dog.

This is a great hotel and the Breakfast is unbelievable! You will not go wrong with this Best Western in Florence, KY! It is convenient to all restaurants and the expressway. Service from employees is outstanding and they will strive to make it your best stay ever.

No actual complaints about the hotel itself, or the staff. The things that might be an issue for some people are the outdoor pool instead of indoor, and that the nearby airport sometimes has loud planes taking off overhead slightly before you might be interested in waking up. The full breakfast is good, plentiful, and has varied options. Everything was clean and worked. I definitely recommend it.

Pretty much what we have come to expect out of this brand, newer hotel, great beds and clean with a good breakfast to get you on your way. Lots of pillows. The noise from the close by highway was hardly noticeable, nice a quiet, like we like it. Would stay here again if in the area.

We stayed at the Best Western in Florence, KY in October on a Monday and Tuesday night. The man at the desk was dressed very sloppy and was coughing and coughing and coughing. He was polite but not friendly. During our stay there, we saw the man at the desk outside smoking more than we saw him at the desk. The foyer was clean. We had easy access to a luggage rack to take our luggage to our room. We had asked for a quiet room, so we were leery when we saw that our room, on the third floor, was across from the elevator. The room ended up being very quiet, which we were grateful for. The room was comfortable and clean except for the chairs, which were stained and some black hair in the tub. The TV remote was called a “clean remote” which was fantastic knowing that it was clean, with no crud stuck in it. It was, though, very difficult to press the numbers. There was something wrong with the tv reception, as it pixilated and had static often. It would be helpful to have a TV channel guide printed out for guests. There were 3 different TV guide channels which covered different channels available. Between the difficult remote and TV guide channel weirdness, we did not enjoy much TV in the evening. The shower worked well and the towels were soft and absorbent. There is only one ice machine in the hotel and it is on the 1st floor, which is inconvenient. We took advantage of the breakfast both days. It was a simple hotel breakfast. The hot food was hot and fresh. Everything was attended to and clean. The attendants were friendly. Some of the tables were in the foyer, which made for a chilly breakfast when the front doors opened. There was plenty of parking and we felt like it was a safe neighborhood. Check out was simple, and again, the luggage racks were available.

Clean and comfortable beds! Great location just off the highway for just one night as a stopover to Nashville. Located in a lovely upcoming neighbourhood with a super walmart, target, and lots of restaurants close by. We enjoyed eating at Golden Coral. Breakfast lady was positive and friendly.

If you are looking to meet new folks and enjoy a fabulous breakfast (early or late), this is the place for you. Amy was rocking the extensive breakfast bar, and all with a ready smile and eagerness to make everyone's stay a better one! Not only is it hard to find good help, these days, it's even harder to find CHEERFUL and EFFICIENT help! If you think you can find a broader range of hot and cold foods, fresh brewed coffee, or better breakfast bar in Florence, KY, I'd say you haven't tried this place yet.

The hotel itself was great for our weekend stay. Had the front desk staff been a little more professional, I would have given this stay an excellent rating. It was very convenient to various restaurants and to the highway. The room was clean and spacious. If traveling with a group, it has a nice area in the lobby to sit and play cards or just to gather with friends/family. The breakfast was very good but unfortunately the lady handling the breakfast setup was extremely rude to the guests. Very unfortunate considering the rest of the stay was GREAT!

The staff was amazing. The rooms were clean. The beds were comfortable. The hotel was in a good location. They had nice options for breakfast!! The hotel staff made you feel appreciated. It was a welcome experience.

Room rate was reasonable. Location was close to housing/gas station/a cheaper looking hotel/ a truck stop/and a car dealership but with easy access to interstate. First impression was poor - room had a very musty smell. Essential oils on tissues helped but would recommend bringing an automatic air freshener. Room was otherwise clean. Room had a large mini-fridge and microwave. Liked the non-carpeted floors and multiple pillows for each bed. Bathroom light is on a motion sensor so no leaving this light on during the night. Bathroom door squeaked when opening. Tub had several large missing paint areas. Toilet not secured well. Shower water pressure and temperature were GREAT! Breakfast buffet - even though food was in warmer, it was not warm. Waffle batter didn't taste right either. We did not try breakfast there again. As female travelers to the Ark and Creation Museum, we would not choose this hotel again - would choose another location on the opposite side of the interstate - maybe one closer to the shopping areas.

My ‘nonsmoking' room absolutely reeked of stale cigarettes. The room was poorly cleaned-tv remote sticky, toilet not fully clean. The room itself had poorly patched walls and mismatched paint touch ups. I said something at the desk (the gal there was very nice), but rooms were full. I imagine because of football. I used rewards points for this room. What a waste.

First room had a musty/mildew smell, changed rooms and that one not better. Had to buy febreze and lysol spray to tolerate smell. Hair in bathroom sink. There was dirt on the TV stand. Totally needs updating. Definitely not a plus hotel. Didn't eat breakfast there due to the cleanliness.

This hotel is clean and the staff is extremely welcoming and helpful. The breakfast offerings are great and lots of variety. The beds were very comfortable. Lots of good restaurants and shopping close by. If coming this way again, we will definitely stay here.

Stayed at this hotel for one night. Had an early morning flight out of CVG airport,and it was only about a 10 minute drive to the airport. The desk clerk was very friendly. Our room was clean. We left before breakfast, and the hotel clerk gave us some breakfast bars on our way out, which was nice. We would stay there again

Debbie at front desk was extremely helpful in changing our room due to a noise issue on our floor. She worked diligently until she could get us a new room. Much appreciated and my girls really appreciated being able to get some much needed sleep for their College tours!

Our church in El Paso, Texas had a group of 44 who stayed here for 4 nights in June, 2022. From the very first contact with the hotel in February 2022, the General Manager, Kary Moore, worked with us for reduced group rates, room selections and managed to provide friendly and flawless service. The rooms were neat and clean, the desk staff bent over backward to accommodate any requests or needed items and were overall very professional. The breakfasts were delicious, varied and well-presented both hot and cold selections. The proximity to both the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter as well as the Florence Mall and numerous quality restaurants and local attractions gave us the perfect location for our stay. I would recommend this hotel to both casual, business and group travelers. It may not be the Hilton, but they treat you as well as any property in which I have stayed in my extensive travels.

Nice, comfortable, clean hotel. Staff was friendly and helpful. The hotel was close to several good restaurants, stores, fuel and airport. Good selection of breakfast foods. Would definitely stay here again!

The breakfast area was poorly equipped and did not match the website. I was told by the young gentemen at the desk that due to covid they stripped the breakfast bar. My room was okay with the exception of my chair that I asked to get replaced but was not. Toilet seat was wobbly and thought that I was going to slide off and the bath tub was ankle deep after a shower. I checked out after one night and checked in at a nearby Hampton at a cheaper rate, nice room and the breakfast bar area was much better than the Best Western.

We had 3 rooms booked for two nights - King rooms on the third floor. The good - Convenient Location to the Ark Encounter, Big rooms with typical microwave, fridge and coffee maker. Shower was good with hot water and pressure. The not so good - the hotel is in the path of the airport for jets landing - could be an issue for some people; although it seemed it was mostly after 6 am and before 11 pm. The fridge does not have a freezer, but there is an ice machine. The towels are pretty thin, but they had 4 instead of 2 or 3. The breakfast is so-so, sausage and bacon were soggy; does have a waffle maker. Beds were hard and in one room, lumpy. The air conditioner was loud; controls were on the unit. Lights came on automatically in the bathroom (along with a fan) which is nice until you are up in the middle of the night and it wakes your spouse. Would recommend for one night if passing through.

Hotel is great and well kept. Employees are great!! Good location for Kentucky or Ohio!! For price you cannot beat the quality or location!! Easy trip to The Ark and The Creation Museum. Will stay here again when I come here to Florence.

This Hotel is very well maintained. It is an older hotel but has been kept in very good condition. The rooms are clean, and it is close to restaurants and shopping. The staff is friendly and helpful. We will be staying here again

We stayed here for 9 nights. We never got maid service at all. We once came to the room at the end of the day to find the top sheets and blankets on the floor and NO bottom sheets on the beds. We never got anything done to the room we didn't ask for. Had to ask for TP and even at that there was no one at the front desk and the maid cart didn't have any on it. Fortunately, the supply room door was open, so I went in and took a roll of TP. One other time we left dirty towels and garbage in the hall since there was no maid service. Several times we tried to call the front desk but there was no answer. I had to have someone bring me the bottom sheets to put on the bed and then was given one fitted and one flat. I was a maid years ago so I knew how to do a flat sheet on the bottom. I grabbed towels of the maid cart. The maid when we did see her didn't speak or understand English. I saw her with a big garbage sack and pointed at it and then our room so we did get garbage taken out. The toilet plugged and we had no maid service so no one to plunge it and no plunger. My daughter when we couldn't get ahold of the front desk found a plunder in a public bathroom and took it. My husband unplugged the toilet. Now we had to get it back down to the public bathroom, and fortunately we found a plastic bad in the room to put the bottom part in or we would have dripped dirty toilet water from the 3rd floor to the first. The good was the breakfast was more than muffins or Danish. The bad was the waffle baker wait. They had no alternative milk for non milk drinkers. They should have someone working the breakfast room and not the front desk person. The beds were comfortable and it was usually fairly quiet in spite of airplanes flying over. Another thing is forget rewards points. We booked with our credit card rewards program which I'm pretty sure was the same amount as BW but since we didn't book through BW we got NO rewards points after 9 nights. These rewards programs with hotels always find a way to weasel out of paying you rewards or you pay extra money to get rewards that would take for ever to get a free night. I had seen some fairly positive reviews and you can stay one night and not expect rewards. If you are staying more than a night don't. If you really want rewards you have to book through BW only. So we had bad service and NO rewards with staying 9 nights. Might as well have stayed with Motel 6.

I believe the bedding and tub and sink were cleaned, but that's about it. Debris was on the floor. Splash marks on mirror. Clock not plugged in. Carpeting looked to be very old. You can see guests have abused the rooms.

Just a quick note to complement the service Bella gave while making reservations at your hotel. She was amazing... Sweet and professional. At the end I had to cancel the reservations, my trip was canceled.

Had to stay during the ice/snow storm of 2022 for a week and everyone was very professional and helpful. The bed is so comfy and the rooms are really nice! The offer great shampoo & conditioner with plenty of fluffy towels. and breakfast was great sausage or bacon biscuits; cereal; yogurt; waffles; oatmeal; coffee; orange juice;apple juice; hot chocolate; tea; fresh fruits available etc… and ready every morning. I have absolutely no complaints!! If your looking for great night sleep for a great price….stay here!!

The location was good. Staff was very friendly. Rooms Clean. They allow pets. Breakfast was all individually wrapped with take out bags. The Area was in a good location and I felt safe and leaving my car and personally belongs in the car overnight. I would come back to stay here.

The room was filthy and smelled musty. Food crumbs on the bed and floor. Refrigerator was disgusting. We did not even stay. Went to Holiday Inn down the road and got great service and room. Desk staff were nowhere to be found. Had to go looking to check in and to leave.

Cleanliness of room was totally unacceptable. Peanuts on the floor, mold around sink rim, keypad on phone was disgusting, holes in sheets, heavy dust on everything, refrigerator was dirty inside, toilet seat was loose.

We spent a couple of nights at the BW in Florence, KY. We were very impressed with the cleanliness, decor, friendliness of the staff, etc. I would highly recommend this hotel. It was very convenient to the interstate. And the price was very good, especially since a hot breakfast was included. Coffee (caf and de-caf) and snacks were available around the clock as well.

There was not Best Western sign on logo on the exterior of the hotel. Only a sign at the entrance to the parking lot. The exterior of the building looks like it could use a cleaning and paint job. The interior rooms also could have been cleaner but were ok. Breakfast was good. Over all it just looks like it could have used a little TLC.

It was near our objective, and was very accessible and comfortable. the Facility was new (in operation 1 month) and the only glitch encountered was with the TV which should have been tested prior to opening to the public. May be a minor thing to some, but I'm old and like my "window to the world" to be easy to use and totally functional.

We stayed here for our daughters wedding the stay was very good. From our whole family we would like to thank the night shift crew for getting everyone to the safety when the tornado warning went off. We will stay here again because we know that they have our best interests in mind. Not just for us to rent a room. Thank you again.

Our room smelled and looked very clean and was very comfortable. This location was ideal - a quick 15 minute drive to Cincinnati, close to Wal-Mart and restaurants, and close to the interstate. I highly recommend this Best Westen location although I would warn the rooms may not be ready at the 3pm check-in time (ours was not ready until 4).

While heading to Tennessee for a short Vacation, I spent two nights in Florence, going to and coming back from Nashville as half way points on my travels. Both times that I spent the nights everyone was so friendly. I used this location because it was pet friendly and a easy access on and off the freeway. Not to mention great priced rooms. The rooms were clean and had all the thing needed like frig, micro, wifi, the whole bit. Plus cont. Breakfest. It was like one stop shoping, every thing needed for the nights stay.

Everything was perfect. The rooms were very nice, comfortable and clean. The hotel offered a continental breakfast and coffee was available 24 hours. The staff was very cordial and professional and made you feel welcome. I would recommend this property very highly.

The rooms were clean and the staff was excellent. The location was withing 10 minutes of at least 50 different dining and shopping locations. The continental breakfast was clean and well stocked. Overall an excellent experience.

Check-in went smoothly. When we were ready for bed, we found DIRTY SOCKS in the bed. This tells me they normally don't change sheets between guests. They just made the bedspread look good. They only got caught because we found the socks. What kind of hotel does not change sheets? The manager moved us to another room. First thing we did was check the bed and the sheets were messed up under the bedspread. We finally asked for a complete set of linens and made our own bed. The manager said to pile the dirty linen outside the door and she would pick them up. The next morning, they were still there.

Breakfast was good, had both hot items and also cold, fresh fruit. Coffee in breakfast area 24 / 7 - pool was clean, not very big, kids had fun. Easy to get to just off 74 and lots of places to eat close.

Don't stay here, it's not safe. They don't seem to care about complaints. Our last morning there and someone tried forcing their way into our room. We should have reported this twice once by phone to front desk. No one answered and once in person. No apologies, just weird excuses. Does all the room keys work on everyone's door? Strange and odd behavior by staff.

Enjoyed four nights at this hotel while visiting the Ark Experience, Creation Museum, Cincinnati, and Dayton. Clean, comfortable room, hot breakfast during this Covid time, pool was open and used by us. Price was competitive with other hotels in the area and reflective of the quality of this location.

I love my stay in this hotel it's minutes away from stores, restaurants, parks the Florence mall etc.. and only 25 min away from Cincinnati downtown, we went to the Ark Encounter and it was only 30 minutes away.! We spent some time in the pool and it was great.! So I will definitely come back.!!

Entire staff was very friendly and helpful, the rooms and lobby were clean, the location is right next to the highway, and the price was perfect. Normally we have a different chain we prefer but the price just didn't seem worth it for the quality of service provided. Best Western was above and beyond for real. We'll stay here again for sure. It was a short, sweet trip but I think we have a new preferred chain.

Stayed one evening while travelling. It was not a terrible experience by any means, but attention to little things would make a lot of difference. First, when we got to the room, we found that the telephone was disconnected. We tried to plug it in, but that immediately shorted out the light between the beds. Clearly, the receptacle in the wall is defective. It was late when we checked in and we did not want to change rooms, so we simply reported it when we left. It would be interesting to find out if anything was done. That brings me to the second issue. While not downright rude, the gal at the front desk in the morning was borderline surly. I have to wonder if she had ever smiled in her life ... I certainly did not see one. Finally, when we first went to our room, the A/C had been turned down to 62. In fact, the entire hallway was freezing. Clearly, the maids are turning the air way down and are not raising the thermostat back when they finish a room. The utility bills incurred by this hotel must be enormous. All of this only makes me wonder what hotel owners (I assume this is a franchise) are thinking. There should be a fairly regular inspection of rooms to identify issues, maids should be instructed clearly to report problems and keep thermostats set sensibly, and front desk personnel should be hired and trained to have a pleasant disposition. The owner of this hotel (and its manager) must be asleep at the switch. But I do want to offer one plaudit. The gal serving the breakfast room in the morning could not have been any sweeter. Bravo to her.

This place is a dump. Walked into a room that reeked of old stale cigarette smoke, had mold in the bathroom, had yellow stains on one comforter and what looked like blood on the other. Our room key needed to be reprogrammed EVERY TIME we came back to the room. We were told that they can be affected by cell phones, credit cards etc. So after the first time we treated them with kid gloves. They had their own special place of honor where they touched nothing. Still didn't work. Staff was rude and spent most of the time outside. Several times we needed to go outside to get them to solve problems. Once we went to get towels to swim and they were ‘in the dryer'. The ARK is absolutely awe inspiring but if that's what to came to Florence for, please do yourself a favor and pick another hotel. Wouldn't want this turd staining what should be a beautiful trip!

The staff was very Helpful The hotel was well kept. The breakfast was very good.I will be back to this hotel if in the arera. I was told who to call for the Ark Encounter, was told about the Museum. Got recomandation on where to eat and hoe to get there. Just a really great experince with Best Western. I would recomend Best Western at this location all day lond Joe C

I was initially concerned about the noise of airplanes taking off and landing since it is so close to the airport. However, we never heard any airplane noise at all while in our room. Only complaint is that the mattress was a little too firm for me.

We traveled with a pet towards the end of July 2021. They are pet-friendly; but will charge you $30 a night extra. Our dog is clean and quiet and doesn't bother anything so we think it is a little much; but be warned. They have a bunch of warnings and disclaimers about the pet policy too. We had a whirlpool room and the tub is big enough for 2 adults … and bubbles. The tub had hers and made a ton of them. The king size bed was comfy, but you might want to bring your own pillows. I stacked 2 of the 5 and was fine enough; but when I sleep I don't use any. TV was standard and we watched a couple movies during our down time. We were by an exit; but the noise wasn't bad. We heard several planes too as this is near the airport - a few exits away. Breakfast was self serve and they had eggs and meat and biscuits and fruit and coffee and juice … nothing gourmet, but filling. They have a pool, but we didn't use it. Lots of others seems to have a good time - we forgot our trunks and bathing suit and the mall didn't have any good choices for a decent price either. We would consider staying again; but price and location will factor into other hotels too.

As you can see from the pictures, it was dirty and not well maintained. The bathroom had mold all over the shower. I didn't take pictures of that because the grout is dark. I didn't ask for them to clean it when we came in because we had our dog with us and didn't want to deal with the 10 things I saw that needed cleaning so I did it all myself with a bunch of disinfecting wipes. I did ask about the filter that was missing from the AC unit and they gave me one that didn't fit and said that's all they have. Also the bathroom sink/counter is very low. I'm Pros- Enough breakfast options and nice grassy area in the back for dogs.

The good news is the bed was comfortable. The bad news is no bathroom exhaust fan. The light above bathroom sink did not work. Brown gunk on the wall around the toilet paper holder. Large hole in bath towel. No bathroom counter. Just a shelf.

I stayed here a couple of times when it was Clarion and it was great. I was concerned when I found out it's now a Best Western because the one up the Highway in Richland is a dump and this one may end up that way but for now it's still a good place to stay.

Had a great trip. We planned a trip to the creation museum and ark. The hotel was great and so much to do nearby. The staff was great and super friendly. The rooms were clean. The bed was probably the best hotel bed I've ever slept in. The only bad thing was because of covid the breakfast is modified. You can still get some things but not the same. Overall we had a great experience and look forward to returning.

Very clean hotel. Close to shopping, food, and easy access to Interstate. I have stayed at this location for many years. I normally stay at Hampton this is one exception due to them being very clean. There is very little interstate noise.

Where to even begin? We arrived after a long day on the road, and our room wasn't ready. The front desk clerk, Melissa, didn't seem to care at all. Talk about a bad attitude! It all went downhill from there. We won't be back.

My husband & I stayed here for one night & was very pleasantly surprised! For the price I didn't know what to expect but the room was spacious & big! Nice comfy king size bed & a microwave, & mini fridge in the room!! The room was very clean as well! And the breakfast was great! Muffins, bagels, cereal, toast & coffee all prepackaged up to take to your room!! Such value for what we paid! Definitely recommend

When we first walked in the lady at the front said we needed a mask... no problem but when she told us about the policy and to sign that we understand we did and then she told our mom that we needed to read it because we didn't understand what we just signed (mind you we are 18,20,23,23yrs old) and when my mom signed she put down the pen and the lady said “ I don't know why you're throwing down our pens like that you can go somewhere else if you want to“ . SHES SUPER RUDE! And then when we get into our room it REEKED of cigarette smoke and our beds were full of dog hair!!! DO NOT RECCOMEND THE MOST HORRIBLE HOTEL I HAVE EVER BEEN TO!!!

I called just to ask if they required a security deposit, and the age required to check in, and the woman that answered the phone was pretty rude, and seemed like she didn't like her job very much. Also, she said that you have to be 21 to check in, when a nicer gentleman I spoke to a few days ago said you have to be 18. Also your website says you have to be 18 or older, so the inconsistencies can be a little confusing. Because of this, I will be taking my business elsewhere.

Located minutes from I-70/75 in KY, the hotel is close to the Cincinnati airport. The cost was significantly less than other hotels (including BW) a couple of miles closer to the airport (which is in KY) or in Cincinnati. The hotel is clean and modern looking and the room we were in had a large TV and king bed. Internet was fast and a modified breakfast was available due to the pandemic. I would definitely stay there again.

Our family of three stayed here after a visit to the Creation Museum. Masks were NOT inforced. THANK YOU!! Felt comfortable coming in without a mask nazi hassling us. Comfortable room. Nice beds and pillows. Pillows can make or break a motel stay!! We liked the placement of the table and chairs. Gave more space for luggage. Motel was quiet. Breakfast was lacking. No hot items available. No excuses, if other motels/ Best Westerns can serve hot meals, this motel can as well. Disappointed.

We stayed one night while traveling. Great value. Clean and pleasant for user $100 total. Because of COVID just a serve yourself minimum breakfast. Clean non carpet room. Nice white bedding. Food nearby.

It was our first stay here, but won't be the last. Rooms were clean, beds confortable, breakfast was modified due to covid restrictions, but still lots of selection. It is very close to many restaurants and the freeway. Quiet also.

Looking for a pet friendly place. The hotel was well appointed and the staff was friendly. Comfortable bedding. Plenty of parking. No Restarants within walking distance. Right off I 71. Pretty good stay. I recommend it.

I was very please with this hotel. We stayed 3 nights in two rooms. The breakfast was the best I've seen so far with a variety of items that were self served including muffins, toast, bagels, granola bars, apples, cereal, juice, coffee, hot chocolate & tea. Breakfast is taken bake to your room. The beds were comfortable and it was a quiet room. The fall decorations in the entryway were an added bonus. The housekeeping staff is there if you need something, but does not come in unless you ask them to. Everything was very clean. The proximity to the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum was why we chose this hotel, plus the $25 promotion for members.

This hotel was close to I-75. The room was clean. The bathroom was a big size. The staff was really nice. I stayed here with my children while on a road trip. We would stay here again. There are many restaurants nearby.

This hotel is nice for the most part, great location for Ark encounter and The Creation museum. Twice I have been and found my room to be somewhat dirty, I had to report this the first stay and desk staff made it right. 2nd stay had issues again, chose not to report it to staff. They should retrain or replace maid service...

We needed a place to rest comfortably and relax for a couple of days. We picked best western because there beds are big and comfortable. Plus you have all the extra amenities you could need (iron, hair dryer, free WiFi and complimentary breakfast. Bonus outdoor pool and fitness room. The office staff are very friendly and very helpful. They are pet friendly too!!! This was a great retreat tucked into a nook in a big city. I highly recommend staying here. So remember Best Western during your travels for a some much needed rest and relaxation!

I stopped at the Best Western for just a night on my way through town. The rooms were clean and modern. For that part of the experience I'd give a 4/5. However, I had a bad service experience that echoes a few of these other recent reviews. It started when I came down for breakfast. There were a couple containers of cereal, a milk jug that was one fifth full, and one plastic spoon left. After digging through the cabinets, I found some spoons. The front desk agent, Tammie, came by and shut the cabinets without saying a word about the poorly stocked breakfast. I go upstairs and the room key no longer works. My partner goes down to get a key, comes back up, and Tammie did not allow her to get the key. I go down with a bowl of cereal and the bad room key in my hands. At the bottom of the elevator the agent sees me and asks if I'm the person looking for a key. She asks for my ID and clearly sees that my hands are full even though she knows I'm the person that needs the key. I rummage around and find my ID. Tammie has two ID cards and says one is mine but she cannot remember which. I get one of them and go up to the room. The card does not work. I come down and she tells me I should've waited for her to figure out her confusion while she goes to the second floor to the other room, checks that key, and then come back. I look at her confused and incredulous that this is my fault and that she is pinning it on me. This is all with a bowl of cereal, mind you. She scans the new card and gives it to me. As I walk away I hear Tammie say "hateful". I turn around to get her name. She seems surprised and says everything is recorded behind the desk as if that will absolve her from muttering spiteful things. I doubt this is the case, but the manager can check around 8:25am on 8/8 and reprimand her accordingly if that is the case. All that being said, rooms are fine, but the service isn't.

The front desk on check in and check out process was very rude. I did not get the name of the person checking in. I reserved 2 rooms on my card and wanted to pay for those separately. When the other family member said that she wanted to pay for her room, the person during check in said she would not talk to her as her name was not reserved for the room. And would not let her pay for the other room we reserved. We were very rudely told no pets allowed. We did not put that we had animals for checkin, but we could have been asked in a nice manner of we needed to confirm that we had no pets along with us. Upon checkout we had Tammi. She was taking another phone call during the checkout process. Again we said that we wanted to pay separately for our room and that the other family member would be paying for theirs. She said nothing and continued the transaction. When the family member went to pay for their room they were told that rooms were charged upon checkin and there was nothing she could do.

Nice hotel but had trouble checking in because the front desk clerk was trying to charge state tax. Apparently when you book online through different websites like hotels.com you don't get charged for that. It kept getting declined. She was not very nice to me or the guys who checked in after me. Also, parking lot was full and there was a car taking up two spaces. Yep, you guessed it!! It was her car. Also, people across the hall smoking pot and stinking up the hallway.

The hotel was clean, but despite the governor's mask mandate (which they have posted on the door) no one was wearing a mask. We were coming into town for our little girl to have surgery. We informed the hotel that our daughter was medically fragile upon booking. Not only were guests not being required (or even asked) to wear masks, but none of the 4 staff members we saw were wearing them either. Social distancing also did not exist here. We had to push our daughter in her wheelchair through a crowded lobby full of people without masks on during check-in and check-out. The staff even saw her and spoke to her but still did not put their masks on.

Very very clean hotel. Gorgeous rooms. The beds were amazing and comfortable. Lovely outdoor pool, sparkling clean. Great location cloth to highway and food, etc. Hotel staff were professional and very helpful.

Pleasant young lady at check-in. Of the two keys, one didn't work. Hair (not ours!) on the bathroom floor. Scuzzy, dirty water in coffee maker, TV remote doesn't work properly, elevator needs the re-set button pushed from down in the mechanical room, and the Grab and Go Breakfast (we understand the need for it) was pathetic...a small box of dried cereal, a rotten, inedible apple. And at $100 it was one of the more expensive places in the area. Cannot recommend.

We are traveling with our grandson who has celiac disease. When we asked about their gluten friendly menu. Jeff, the breakfast guy, got us gluten free muffins and shouted us all their gluten free options. He was so excited to help us. He was so proud of the fact that he used real eggs and would make them how we wanted them. It was good to see someone who took such joy in what they were doing.

Hotel has been updated. Lobby was so attractive- decorated for St. Patrick's Day. Desk attendant was friendly and very helpful. Rooms were clean. Breakfast area was clean and had 24 hour coffee,TV, Intetnet access and printer. Breakfast choices were abundant. Mr. Jeff was more than helpful. Made sure coffee never ran out, helped people with waffle maker, checked if we needed anything throughout breakfast, and answered questions about the area. Made everyone feel special and welcomed. AWESOME Experience!

Nice hotel, it was in a convenient area, breakfast was good. Very clean, definitely would stay again if in the area. Staff were nice and polite. I got this hotel for a very good price on Priceline in the express deals.

Enjoyed our overnight stay at BW in Florence. The hotel was recently renovated and looks great. Eva at reception and very nice and recommended a few restaurants for dinner which was good. Mr Jeff at breakfast was outstanding taking the time to talk to us as well as telling us what was available. He makes real eggs for breakfast which is fine with us.

Close to Florence Mall and lots of restaurant choices. Quiet location. Great Staff, especially Tammy, Ben and Mr. Jeff. Great breakfast choices. Some snacks available around the clock, even OJ (good for diabetics). They even switched my room from 3rd floor to first to be close in case my sugar crashed after the desk clerk found out I am a diabetic.

This hotel was only 20 minutes from the venue, fast check in and out. Breakfast was good, real eggs not fake eggs . Room was clean , and internet fast , no problems and quiet place to sleep. Would go back there when the chance aries

The room was cleaned and the breakfast wad great but had a terrible mattress. Our mattress was swagged one one side so I slept in a hole which caused my back to hurt. This was the only problem I experenced during our stay.

Definitely one of the best hotel stays I've ever had! Room and hotel space was clean. The entire stay was quiet. We really enjoyed the whirlpool room and was surprised with how convenient the entire stay was.

I can not believe how nice this Best Western is!!! My daughter and I visited overnight while we were Black Friday shopping! We were greeted by a nice young man who even asked if we were hungry because it was so late when we checked in and was offered a snack! This place is worth the money! The next morning we had breakfast and an older man working was the icing on the cake, he made our waffle and treated us like we were at a 5 star resort! Also want to give a huge shout out to Kary, our room was spotless, quiet, and everyone I met treated us like they knew us our entire life! Perfect location!! In the middle of Florence, but sits back far enough off the main HWY that you can't hear a car!!!

I made the reservation going down the road as we weren't sure how far we'd drive. When we arrive there was a welcome on a sign in the lobby. Everyone was friendly and welcoming. Our room was clean and comfortable. Mr. Jeff at breakfast was very helpful and fun to talk to. Would stay here again.

Great place to stay. Friendly staff. My only complaint was the lack of a Bible in the room. I had left mine in the car by accident and wanted to read a verse or two before bed and was disappointed to not find one.

I booked this hotel because we had a previous stay at a Best Western Plus that was great. This one not so much. The heat was not working in our original room. So we had to change rooms. The beds have some sort of topper on them that is noisy. Breakfast was ok. I just wasn't impressed. Would not stay here again.

We stayed here at the best western inn of florence we went and visited the Ark. The cook Mr Jeff is a great cook. The breakfast was wonderful. The staff was very friendly. The rooms were very clean. They serve breakfast every morning and also serve snacks of the evening.

Hostess went out of her way to provide me with gluten free and dairy free breakfast items. That was nice! The room was clean and comfortable. The only thing I saw as a problem was there was no water bottles made available.

Staff was friendly and welcoming, facility well maintained (and apparently being or has recently been upgraded, judging by rolls of carpet around), room very nice and comfortable, lots of comfy pillows on the bed. And, nice touch, got into our room and had a letter from the manager thanking us for being rewards members, along with water and snacks -usually that's just a verbal acknowledgement at check-in and getting handed a sack with snacks in it, so that was a bit extra. Fresh cookies each evening, juice and coffee available around the clock, just several little nice things that make the difference between "OK" and "nice". Thanks.

Mr. Jeff is a great employee, he seems to love his job and serves the people well. Thank you, Jeff. He had breakfast ready, the food was made well and hot. The people who worked the front desk were always pleasant and ready to assist. (snacks in the lobby every night was nice too.)

A friend and I needed a place not too far from the Ark Encounter to stay for the night. This was about 25 minutes away which felt perfect to us. They are just wrapping up renovations so everything is fresh. The beds were comfortable and the pillows were amazing (fluffy but moldable)! They truly do have a full free breakfast bar with Mr. Jeff overseeing it all doing his best to treat the guests like family in for a visit. The scrambled eggs were hot and moist (but not runny), the bacon was perfect, the fruit was fresh and tasty, and of course they have one of those waffle makers (regular and strawberry batter was available) along with the usual cereal, toast, bagels, muffins, juice, etc. that are standard on most breakfast bars. Mr. Jeff also did his best to let guests know he was available to cook eggs to order too — sunny side up or over easy. All of the staff was pleasant and happy to help with any needs. I would definitely stay there again any day!

The breakfast here had more and different kinds of food than the average hotel breakfast. There were bowls of mixed cut fruit. The only problem was a bright light from the parking lot that we couldn't completely block with the curtains on the window.

Jeff is a master at what he does. He definitely has the God-given gift of hospitality! He made us feel right at home with his attitude, friendly conversation, and excellent and plentiful cuisine. This is southern hospitality, at its best!

The motel was clean. The staff was helpful when needed. The motel was convenient to things we came to see. Great place to stay to see the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. The value was good using the Veteran rate.

The front desk did a really nice job of getting us (party of 21) into our rooms in a very timely manner....big thanks since it was late when we arrived. Bottom line...yes, I would stay here again.

The location was great and there were many restaurants close by. Even though they were remodelling with construction material outside the main entrance, the stay was very good.If you are going to the Creation Museum and the Ark, this is a great place to stay because of it's location.

The room was very clean and comfortable. I like that they are energy conscience. The breakfast in the morning was good but the eating area was very small. The staff was friendly and courteous. I liked that they had the lobby decorated for fall.

Our room was comfortable, spacious, and clean. Eva gave exceptional customer service...going the extra mile. Food and snacks were delicious, fresh, and hot. This was a bus trip, so we didn't "choose" this hotel, but we always prefer Best Western, and would definitely return to this location! Mr Jeff was definitely a "people " person and made delicious food!

Imagine our delight at returning late and finding a popcorn maker filled with freshly prepared popcorn. That's better than warm cookies in my book! Fruit and an urn with strawberry infused was also available. The lobby was beautifully decorated for fall. Our room was clean and in good repair. Breakfast was OK, but the eating area was very small. The coffee machine needs to be thrown in the Cincinnati river. It delivered a truly lousy product. If it wasn't for the coffee, I'd give it five stars

The hotel was central to all we wanted to do. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Eva at the desk was especially helpful. I liked that they had a list of all the eateries in the area and just how to get to them. Mr Jeff made breakfast fun. He really wanted guests to have what they needed and enjoyed the conversations. It was quiet and the rooms had all we needed. Had one issue- stayed 4 nights and the room was never vacuumed, Bed was barely re-made and bathroom counter was never wiped down. It was like the maid emptied trash and changed towels. My bed cover had a stain and I asked that it be replaced and it was not.

A good place to stay and convenient. Eva was very helpful and answered all our questions. We would definitely return! There was construction being performed on the third floor. The main entrance was partially blocked with equipment and stacks of new carpet.

We chose this BW because it was between the Ark Encounter and Creation museum and Cincinnati. Very convenient to everything. They were very prepared with a map of eateries and their location - 1 block away; 2 blocks away; 4 blocks away. Other hotels need to pick up this idea. Outdoor seating for breakfast was a nice touch. Jeff is a busy chef every morning. The welcome sign in the lobby was a hit every day. Very creative. They love their hotel.

When I first arrived my handicap room was not available but they made every effort to get my room handicap accessible. If we needed anything, they made sure we were accommodated. Rooms were clean and big. Had a fridge and microwave. Bed was very comfortable. Good breakfast. We were there for a week. Bill, head of maintenance, helped us bring in our luggage and made sure we had everything we needed. He always had a smile on his face and treated us like we were long time friends. By the end of the week, we were friends. You can't go wrong staying here.

We have stayed at the Best Western Florence, KY so many times it seems like coming home when we pull into the parking lot. We go into the lobby and the desk clerk has a big smile on her face and recognizes us immediately, or if she is new she still smiles and askes how she may help us. We are so glad to have a place like this where we can relax and get a good nights sleep after a 550 mile trip, We enjoy Best Western so much, which is the reason we try to stay at BW wherever we go.

Our family (of 5) had a quick weekend planned in Northern KY & Cincinnati. The hotel is about 20 minutes from the Great American Ballpark in Cincinnati, about 20 minutes from the Creation Museum, & 25 minutes from the Ark Encounter. They allowed us to check into our room early (a plus). The room was a good size (we travel with a twin size air mattress). It had a microwave, good size refrigerator, and a flat-screen tv. The wifi was fast enough to do what we needed. We stayed on the second floor...the room needs to be updated. It was NOT dirty, just needs touched up. They informed us that they plan to update the second floor later this fall (2019). Hot water was hot....they went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable. Mr. Jeff, who is the cook, goes above and beyond to prepare breakfast food! He prepared different flavor of waffles each morning and was very friendly to our family.. The breakfast was well worth it. Scrambled eggs, sausage/bacon, biscuits and gravy, fruit, muffins, bagles, water, juices, yogurt, etc.

Mr Jeff made our stay extra friendly. Clean rooms, great service. Good central location. Would recommend this location. Great breakfast. Nice beds, clean bathrooms. Easy to get on hwy for tourist attractions

We travelled to this area to see the Creation Museum and Noah's Ark exhibit which were wonderful. But my favorite part of the trip was actually the hotel. My room was very clean and comfortable -Thanks Jean in Housekeeping. The front desk staff was absolutely fantastic from the minute we walked in to the minute we checked out - Kelsey, Eva and Isabelle. They totally went above and beyond. I mentioned how much I loved their pillows and they found a way for me to purchase a brand new one of the hotel pillows. The absolute best part of the stay was their breakfast bar with Mr. Jeff. He cooks up REAL scrambled eggs and puts on a great spread. He really went above and beyond to make sure that my sister had various Gluten Free options as well- muffins, English muffins and bread. Way to go Mr. Jeff.

This hotel was very close to the interstate we were traveling on and just a quick stop for the night. The room was a little musty smelling but not a big deal. I would stay here again if traveling thru this area. Jeff was great during our breakfast. He kept everything filled and was there to help with any of our needs or questions.

From the moment we walked through the door till the morning we checked out, our stay couldn't have been better. Myrion checked us in, made sure we knew how to find a place to eat and gave us all the "nice things to know" about the motel. He made sure to tell us about the evening "snacks" that can be found in the lobby around 6 pm. Kelsey helped us find our way to The Ark Encounter with detailed, already printed directions. She also made sure we got the overnight delivery we were expecting. Breakfast with Mr. Jeff was like walking into a country cafe with eggs, warm biscuits and gravy, bacon or sausage, fresh fruits, various cereals and bakery items as well as freshly made waffles. His congenial conversation just set the stage for a fun day. The motel is clean, nicely decorated, staff (even the cleaning crew are personable) are great. If you need a workout, they've got that covered, a small but more than adequate gym offers all you need to add some exercise to your day. It was a great stay, one of the nicest, most friendly motels we've stayed in!

Staff was helpful but the motel is dated and over priced for the area. competing motels are newer,just as well located and about 70% of the price. I prefer Best Western but this unit does not hold up the reputation of the "new look".

My stay was excellent. And the continental breakfast was filling. Eggs, biscuits and gravy, waffles, cereal, fruit, muffins, bagels,toast, coffee, orange juice, apple juice, hot chocolate, hot tea. Excellent!!

The hotel is fine, but the customer service is definitely not. I left a watch (not expensive, but sentimental). I stopped by the hotel on the way home, but the watch was not accessible or found by staff there. After several phone calls about mailing the watch back, I still have not received it. Either it was stolen or they just don't care about their customers.

I'm very happy that Best Western offers accommodations for my small dog. It's very hard traveling with pets since most hotels are very unwelcoming/hostile to pet owners. So, with that in mind, I was very surprised and frustrated by the double charge I received for my one dog one night stay. No one at the front desk said that they couldn't (or wouldn't maybe?) reverse the charge on my credit card. I had to wait for the manager who was nowhere to be seen or told even when she would re-appear. I got the run around, they said it might take up to 30 days to appear corrected on my card, and I feel like this was a scam. They can put a charge on my card, but they can't take it off? I don't buy it, and I will look somewhere else the next time I am traveling with my dog. I'm also thinking of paying with cash from here on out.

I had flowers delivered before I arrived and the front desk ladies put them in the room for me so my wife would see them as soon as she walked in. The breakfast was very good and Mr. Jeff made eating there very pleasant.

BW Inn location is accessible to stores, churches & parks. The staff are friendly & polite. Rooms are spacious & clean. Continental breakfast is ready for early risers & enough for everyone. Snacks are provided every night. That is a plus! The outdoor swimming pool is perfect for summer time & is open as early as 7:00 am -10:00 pm. Should I travel again in the area, I will stay at BW Inn, Florence.

We stayed here for a three day vacation with our family. Rooms were clean and the hotel provided breakfast and a snack. Isabel and mr Jeff were very attentive and helpful. The pool was clean and the property was well groomed.

From check in to breakfast the next morning - this staff is top notch! My husband and I arrived late from NC and missed breakfast this morning by 10 minutes. When Mr Jeff saw me out there looking for food, he asked what we would like and I expressed that we hadn't realized how late it was and that breakfast was over and he asked if we wanted eggs. I said yes and he made us scrambled eggs and oatmeal. He helped us to get a fulfilling breakfast to start our day. He went above and beyond for us and I can't thank him enough. Congrats to this hotel for having such a kind, caring employee. We will be back here again.

Ive stayed at other best westerns before so when I planned My trip to see the ark encounter I immediately looked for a best western, I so wish I would of chose another hotel. We arrived at about midnight and the front desk person just looked at me when I came thru the doors and said hi! I then stated that I had reservations and again he just stared at me so I then stated my name, he never asked for it. He then hands me a door pack and says room is 305. I was like ummmm ok??? I was at least excited that breakfast was being offered the next morning, but as I said Ive stayed at this chain before and so I was very very disappointed in the breakfast raw bacon, dirty serving spoons, and waffle batter all over the counter, but thank god we had the guy that was cooking{???) our breakfast to stand over us the entire time we were eating to talk to us {rude??} He was excited he was making sausage the next day, I was excited we would be eating elsewhere, I do know not all hotels offer FREE breakfast but it is a reason I chose this hotel and was very disappointed! The room was what I expected.

Our stay was wonderful. Gentleman working breakfast was there each morning to make our large group waffles. Room was clean and spacious. Every staff member we encountered made us feel at home. We were there to visit the ark.

This was an okay place to stay so I would have given it a higher rating but for the price I paid was too much for just okay. First off, when you enter the lobby you are almost knocked over with the smell of too much air freshener or cleaning product. Then there was the room which had a less overbearing but still prominent smell covering a damp smell the room had. As for the room itself it was pretty standard, the bed was very comfortable but didnt feel 100% clean. Everything in the room just had a damp feel. From the carpet to the bedding and even the tv remote felt damp. I believe this was from the AC unit which despite setting it to a warmer temperature, it was always running and giving off a moldy smell. The rest of the room was nice and fairly clean but not cleaned to the level you would expect for a room that costs more than $100 a night. There was dust in some places and the bathroom needed some cleaning mainly in the bathtub area. Also there was no hand soap provided to wash your hands with in the bathroom and the door was damaged making it hard to open and close. My other main complaint would be the location of the hotel. It was conveniently located near the highway, near several restaurants and gas stations. However the area did not feel 100% safe. I wouldn't recommend it if you were travelling alone. There was a strong police presence around the hotel and the 2 neighboring ones which made me question what problems they've had that made it necessary for one. Also the airport is nearby so you hear every plane that takes off and lands. You will also hear every door that is shut and person in the hallway that goes by. Other than that, the staff was very friendly and the breakfast was just kinda meh overall. The waffles were the highlight but I have had them before during another hotel stay so I knew they would be ok. The breakfast area was a lil too cramped and not as spacious as the photos led me to believe. This is a large hotel with great amenities that is close to the Creation Museum. Hotel staff was able to answer questions regarding the Creation Museum. Breakfast had many options. Although the seating area was small. Rooms were clean and beds were comfortable.

Strong urine odor in room covered by a lot of febreze. Front desk attendant was rarely at the front desk. Spend s little more and go elsewhere. I have stayed at hundreds of hotels around $100 a night and this is the worst I have been to.

Very nice place to stay. Until you open door and get hit with over powering smell of Febrese. Could not get away from it. Had planned trip to zoo but my chest hurt too bad from breathing in spray. Nice room, bed and breakfast. Just be aware if you are sensitive you will suffer.

The only issue was that our room was located behind the elevator shaft, so the room was smaller. However, you could not hear the movement of the elevator, so no big issue here. Other than that, was a great experience. If in the area again I would definitely stay here

Close to The Ark and Creation Museum which was why we were there to visit. Had a nice outside pool that we enjoyed. Was a very nice place to stay. Would recommend it.

We stayed here while doing the route 127 yardsale. The bed was awful and the breakfast was average. The price about average, would not reccomend staying here. We travel alot and there are so many better places to stay for your money.

Enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were clean and updated, but our room smelled a little musty/mildewy. Breakfast was good. Pool was a lot of fun but busy and a little too small for the amount of people. Perfectly located between both the Creation Museum and The Ark Encounter. Plenty of places to eat around the hotel as well. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. Would stay here again.

Entire hotel is clean, including the outdoor pool! Delicious hot continental breakfast, with Mr. Jeff's signature REAL scrambled eggs. Entire staff was friendly. GREAT location, easy access to downtown Cincinnati as well as the Ark Encounter. Our two queen beds room was spacious, including a couch!

Front staff were pleasant, friendly and helpful while booking our 3 night stay over the phone as well as when we arrived. Mr Jeff was especially friendly and made breakfast a delight. He truly seemed to enjoy his work and enjoy helping others. He is a true asset to Best Western.

This was one of the best run and managed hotels I have ever been in. The staff and assistant manager went out of their way to be helpful and accommodating. Jeff who managed the breakfast service was always on hand to help with whatever you might need. The room was clean and pleasant, the location was great, right off the interstate, in the midst of any kind of shopping you might want and within a half hour drive to the Kentucky Speedway. Loved it, would not consider any other hotel if I was staying in that area again.

Great staff and nice clean room, everything we need for our 3 night stay. Only disappointment is they filled the outside hot tub with concrete. Last time we were here it was operating and we enjoyed each early morning in it. Decent breakfast with great variety. Third time here in several years. Pretty easy to get to off interstate.

We chose this Best Western because it is dog friendly and 20 minutes from the Cincinnati Childrens Hospital. We were able to leave the dogs in the hotel room during our appointment which is nice. The lobby and hallways had a very potent smell of curry. It was so noticeable that it bugged us. Our room smelled like a combo of faint curry and dog. With our 2 children and 2 dogs, a double queen room was just over $200. The hotel is run down and not worthy of that price. We stayed in a very nice La Quinta for $120 and didnt worry about our clothes stinking after the stay.

This was a nice clean hotel. Nice Breakfast and the pool temp was perfect. It is roughly centered between the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter. The Staff was friendly and helpful. They had baked cookies and set them out for guests the night we arrived. I got extra reward points for pool selfies. Overall, an enjoyable stay.

From the moment we entered the lobby we were treated with knowledgeable and very friendly attendants that made us feel at home. We had a party of 8, 4 of them being little children they were offered snacks and water and made to feel comfortable, rooms were very comfortable and clean.

It is almost 3:00 AM as I start to write this, but I'm so uncomfortable that cannot sleep. This is the last of my family's 3-night stay at this Best Western in Florence and I can't wait to leave. I can normally sleep about anywhere, but this place is worse than sleeping on an air mattress at a Boy Scout camp (which I've done recently). My biggest gripe about this hotel has to be the bed. The first thing I noticed when I climbed in the first night was a weird sensation like the sheets were damp; like they weren't fully dry when they pulled them out of the dryer. It left me constantly moving around, looking for a "cool" spot to put my legs. This is night #3, and that sensation is still there. I've stayed at a lot of hotels, but this is a first for me. My back hurts as the bed is hard and lumpy. The pillow has left me with a neck ache every night so far. Last night I woke up at about 2:30, and the first night was about the same. My wife complained of neck pain last night, so it's not just me. I'm usually one that sleeps in a comatose state all night long, so for me not to be able to stay asleep for one full night here speaks volumes to how uncomfortable it is. Next complaint: Breakfast was unimpressive, with too few choices. I tried the apple juice the first morning and it had a bit of a "twang" to it, like it was ready to ferment. The orange juice wasn't much better. They were out of yogurt (something my kids normally would eat). I ended up having the raisin bran and eggs, which were just OK. The second morning I decided to try coffee instead, but I found it not to taste right either, so I ended up dumping it out. My kids did like the waffles, but they may have liked the heart design more than the actual taste. We normally pick hotels where the breakfast is included for the added convenience, but we'll be eating elsewhere in the morning. Our room is on the second floor and for some reason, this entire floor is filled with it's own unique flowery smell. It makes me want to hurry to get to our room so I can minimize having to breathe it. Luckily our room doesn't share the same scent. I noticed the side door to the hotel was not locked like they claimed it would be after 10:00 PM. They had the card swipe disassembled during the day, so I assume it was broken and it remains that way. We did not try the outdoor pool, so I cannot rate it. The best thing about this hotel experience was the shower. There was plenty of hot water and the shower head had good coverage. Overall, the main reason to stay at a hotel is to get a good night's sleep. I've found it is impossible to get that here. This is the middle leg of our trip, and unfortunately the longest stay at one hotel. The Hampton we came from in Indianapolis was much better. If you are in Florence and you need a place to rest, get yourself an air mattress and go to a campground... you'll likely be better off than staying at this Best Western.

The room was very clean and the amenities were sufficient for the stay. The location was in Florence KY. Having a shower door that led into the room was odd. But the room was very nice otherwise. The location was near an airport which could be loud at times but not to bad.

The motel was very clean and very accommodating Had to change rooms because my wife short legs.The hot tub was had to get in and out of. They said they were booked up but changed rooms for us . Food was great and clean area

We were very happy with this hotel it was easy to find and very clean, the beds were soft and the rooms were great we loved the big beds and the couch in the room was nice. My mom wanted to see the Ark that was one of the things on her bucket list and they had a map ready when we arrived. and a map to the food places around. the one thing i did not like was the flower smell in the halls (but I have a hard time with flowers ) the nicest surprise was the pool was open and the water was nice to be in outside.

Very nice clean hotel and comfy beds! The staff is very helpful and sweet. Any questions you have about anything around you they will be so helpful to accommodate you. Your stay includes a great breakfast with a little of everything. Afternoon or evening snacks are waiting for you. I didn't use the pool but it looked very clean and well kept with several chairs, umbrella tables and lounging chairs. The hotel also included a workout room that appeared well kept.

Everyone from the desk clerk, cleaning and kitchen workers were amazing. Would definely recommend this hotel. Stayed there for the Ark Encointer and Museum. Conviently located. Very close were shopping and restaurants.

I worked at a job where good customer service was very important. Myrion at the front desk treated my sisters and I with the best customer service I have ever experienced at a motel, hotel or inn. Our room was clean and comfortable. The other staff members were also very friendly. Would stay here again.

We booked a Saturday night stay as my daughter was running the Flying Pig Marathon in Cincinnati the next day. We asked for a quiet room and we were given a room on the third floor which was perfect. We slept well. The room was clean and had all of the necessities like a fridge and microwave. The staff was warm and friendly. We watched the Kentucky Derby in the lobby with other guests. This place was small enough to seem comfy and user friendly. In our rush to leave early to get downtown for the race, I left my jacket hanging on the bathroom door. One call to the front desk and Jackie quickly located my jacket and texted me that she had it at the front desk. We are Best Western rewards members and we are never disappointed in our stays at their motels. Each one has its own personality. My daughter enjoyed her stay and says it was perfect for the Pig weekend.

Myrion at front desk was very accommodating to us. We were playing in a basketball tournament, and he allowed us to have a late check-out which helped us out. He was very friendly and offered us bottled water and gave us directions on how to get around town and to restaurants. He went out of his way to make sure we had a great experience. Breakfast was decent, too.

I arrived to friendly service at the check-in desk in a clean lobby, check in was quick and efficient as I had reservations. A quick journey to my room found it waiting for me all cleaned and pristine! Beds are very tidy and comfortable. The bath had all the regular accessories - soap, shampoo, lotion, make up remover wipes. I forgot my razor and Ashley at the front desk went out of her way to provide that and shaving cream!! Thx Ashley! The rest of the staff were very pleasant and helpful.

I travel for business and I normally stay at Best Westerns. This Best Western tops them all. It started with the greeting. The entire staff had a smile on their face. Ashley, Director of Sales offered her card and made sure all was good. But it just wasn't her. Again, everyone was pleasant and friendly. Their attitude made my day. I am a Diamond member with Best Western. They showed the appreciation for being a member. Service was the best I have seen in years. The entire hotel was clean and well in order. The value and location worked perfectly for me. Less than 10 minutes from my meeting and about the same to the airport.

This hotel charged me $545 dollars for 4 rooms on a one night stay. The problem is I never booked the rooms. Expedia sent me an email asking me how my stay was in Florence KY? I live in Ohio. Someone with my information evidently booked four rooms on my wife's CC and never showed up to the hotel. When I called the hotel to ask them of this, they indicated they were still charging me since the hotel was sold out that night. Makes no sense. When I started asking questions the hotel staff was rude and very disrespectful. Saying that there was nothing they could do. I never heard back from the manager that I requested to speak with nor did they return any emails/calls. Absolutely makes no sense that I'd get charged for 4 rooms I never even booked. Expedia staff was just as bad. Stay away from both! Now my wife has to deal with the credit card company to file a claim. Just a headache that could've been avoided if the Best Western Florence would've been more understanding of the situation.

From the front desk staff, to the spacious room, exercise equipment, and housekeeping staff, everything was perfect. The complementary breakfast was hot and fresh and very tasty. The room was very quiet and clean. We had a very comfortable three day stay.

The hotel is nicely located near the back side of the airport. Airplane noise was not an issue. The large grassy areas made it very dog-friendly! Breakfast was very good but the room was small. Re-arranging the tables would help.

My parents, daughter and I spent 1 night here as we were passing through Cincinnati. Our room was spacious and clean, and breakfast was fine. The fruit and water were most welcome when we arrived at 11:00 last night. We were pleased to also see dog treats and are taking one home for our dog. Everyone was professional and courteous. We will stay here agin.

Traveling from the south needing a stop half way home we found this great hotel. The service was excellent, very nice room & good breakfast. The hotel is close to an airport but you could hardly hear the planes flying over.

This is NOT a 3.5 star hotel, as advertised by Priceline. I thought this would be closer to the airport. Location not good for me. The hotel really needs sprucing up. Both mattresses in our room were very saggy with deep indentations. The carpets looked like they needed a good cleaning or replacement. And the refrigerator buzzed loudly until we finally figured out how to unplug it. This was the worst of 6 hotels we stayed at during a long road trip.

When we arrived they upgraded our room for free. Clean large room, very good breakfast. Had fruit and strawberry infused water and front desk that you could help yourself to. They also put out a nightly snack for travelers. Staff was very helpful and professional.

We stayed at the best Western In Florence Kentucky and Amy the clerk went out of her way for us and was just plane out amazing she was so sweet and funny and made us feel like we were at home. Killer breakfast and killer night snacks.

What a wonderful place to stay very clean was our 45th wedding anniversary Amy booked our room when we arrived they went above and beyond our expectations they had decorated our room I almost cryed. Very sweet and unexpected thank you for being the best❤

Room quiet and clean. We were a little concerned about noise being that they accept pets and we were by the stairs, but it was really quiet. Amy at the front desk was amazingly friendly and accommodating. Will definitely stay here again when in the area. Hot breakfast served with plenty of seating.

My stay was very pleasant. The room was clean and there were plenty of towels in the bathroom. The staff was welcoming and helpful. Since I was in a tractor/trailer, I was able to get a good dinner delivered. I would stay here again.

Plan on eating breakfast else where. Breakfast Hot food items have a lot to be desired. Dog friendly establishment and lots of room behind the hotel for pets to walk about. Front desk staff are great and can give you a list of local restaurants all within 2 miles or less.

Driving back from Florida we stopped here for an overnight stay. Amy the desk clerk was extremely helpful getting us checked in. Our room was very neat, clean and welcoming. Amy gave us some great suggestions as well as directions for the local fare. She made sure all our needs were met and our stay was wonderful. The complimentary nachos and salsa were an added bonus. Definitely would recommend a stay here. Very convenient to I-71 and I-75 with lots of restaurants nearby.

Stopped off of the interstate passing through to Florida. Ashley was a breath of fresh air on a late saturday. Room is clean and quiet looking recently updated. Would recommend to anyone passing through the area!

We found the hotel easy to access from the freeway. The staff were very helpful in finding us the room we required. Very friendly staff who provided us with directions to the restaurant we wanted to eat at. Our room was very comfortable. The breakfast was excellent.

We stayed here on 2 different occasions while travelling to and from the Cincinnati airport. The first time, we had to extend our stay one night because it was the first day of the Polar Vortex that rolled through! We didn't feel safe going onto the highway in case our rental car broke down. The clerk made the process easy and quick. Both times the rooms were very comfy. The breakfast is really good.

Great clean hotel, nice location , great breakfast with almond milk as an option ! Snack every evening ! Convenient location if you are visiting the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum ! Great freindly staff !

Average room, great personnel and always enjoy the breakfast that is included. The staff was very friendly and helpful like most BW we have stayed at. The biggest selling point on this trip was it was pet friendly and location.

The 2 rooms were comfortable and clean. What made the stay HORRIBLE was the attitude of the front desk clerk, Ashley. We got in after midnight Tuesday but wanted to get breakfast so I went down to the lounge at 8:30 am. Breakfast is posted as 6am to 9am on Wednesdays. There was 8 other guest eating at the time. I went to the buffet and there were NO eggs or biscuits. There wasn't a person working the breakfast so my employee went to the front desk and ask for more breakfast to be put out. Ashley did not acknowledge his request except with "you'll have to give me a minute" while not even looking at him. About 2 minutes later she proceeds to STOMP thru the lounge and into the prep area; clearly agitated. A few moments later she comes out and says it will be 4 more minutes. At 8:55am (25 mins waiting) Cleaning staff arrived. I sat and watched the 2 women go to the prep area and fill their plates with eggs and biscuits (before putting any more out for guests). The older lady asked Ashley if she needed to put the biscuits out and Ashley replied: "You better before they have a hissy fit." I then confronted Ashley and told her we waited 25 minutes for more breakfast and that no one was having a hissy fit. She proceeded to argue back with me as though there was justification for her attitude and lack of customer service. The whole situation was inappropriate and uncalled for. I have blacklisted this hotel for my company. There are many other choices in the area.

We were traveling south and needed a dog friendly hotel. This is it for the area. So given that I have to give it a higher rating than it might normally get. Hotel seems tired, the chairs in our room were stained and the iron took up the entire closet. No trash cans that we could find out side for dog waste. Breakfast was adequate and seems typical of the “hot” advertised. Staff was friendly and attentive.

We spent one night here as we traveled south. The hotel is conveniently located right off of the highway. The welcome was extremely cordial. In the evening there is a snack in the lobby area. We were told that some of the rooms are pet friendly. Our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast buffet included hot items (eggs, bacon, gravy, biscuits, pancakes) as well as cold (cereals, breads / pastries, fruits). All in all, a very good place to stay. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again in the future.

I've stayed here before and knew it was clean, comfortable, quiet and convenient. But this trip, Kelsey went the extra mile and was a real lifesaver! She went out of her way to resolve an issue quickly, courteously and with good humor and grace. Absolutely outstanding!

I've lost track of the times I've stayed here. Perfect? Probably not, but, always greeted with pleasantness and the rooms are clean, good sized, beds comfortable, and staff always ready to help. Decent selection for breakfast, and plenty of coffee. Shout out this most recent visit (Feb 2019) to housekeeper, Jean. My wife was ill, and she went out of her way to assist me and to inquire after my wife's health. BTW, our room was next to the elevator and we never heard it at all.

I can always count on Best Western, and my stay in Florence was no exception. I did not check in until after 1 a.m. There was a women in training at the front desk, but the staff person training her was very patient and thorough. Both women were welcoming and friendly to the customers.

Amy was very helpful and pleasant at the counter when we arrived. The room was clean and a good size. It's right off the highway so it's a great location if you're back on the road in the morning. Would stay again!

We were treated extremely well. Staff, Amy and Ashley who checked us in were professional and very accommodating. Accommodations were what I would expect from a Best Western. Will stay here again next time we come through Kentucky.

The room is spacious and clean, and the desk staff was kind and courteous as well as accomodating. It was easy to access from the freeway and close to places to eat. When I asked about a place to attend church the man printed me out a list to choose from.

Stayed here December 2018 with family for a trip to Ark Encounter & Creation Museum. Pros: hotel was right off the highway, had a breakfast, customer service in the evening for check in and morning staff was very helpful and welcoming. Cons: upon checking into initial room (not on main floor), it smelled of wet urine. We asked for another room, they had nothing available except a Jacuzzi room on the main floor, we were promptly moved there. This room was much improved on the smell, however, there as a punch mark in the wall above the light switch in the bathroom, walls were very thin, every time someone opened a door in the hall or the exit doors leading to outside, it would make a loud slamming/air noise. We could hear loud music from the parking lot, and people walking and talking by the window at night, could hear dogs barking and jumping on the floor above us early in the morning. Overall: an average hotel, right off the highway, did not receive much sleep due to noises. Good breakfast and staff was very helpful and accommodating.

Excellent staff; super courteous and accommodating. Clean and spacious rooms. Comfortable beds. They had evening snacks available as well as the standard hot and cold fare for breakfast. Food was good and the staff even offered to clean up our plates, etc.

The staff is very friendly and helpful, from front desk to housekeeping! The rooms are clean and neat. The amenities are easy to access and readily available. We were treated as if we were part of their family.

Customer service excels at Best Western, Florence, KY. 2nd time here during winter travel. Late night arrival and desk staff were gracious and helpful. Fruit and beverages available at night. Appears to be older hotel, but lobby is inviting, rooms very clean, beds comfortable, quiet atmosphere. Continental breakfast ( thanks for fresh choices) is very good. Breakfast staff Jeff and Jessica very friendly, top-notch. Great place to stay.

The location was close to many restaurants where we met friends for supper. There were many shopping and businesses in the surrounding area.The room was very nice and well appointed. The staff was warm and frendly. They provided fresh popcorn and delicious warm cookies. We are enjoying our stay very much.

To be honest I was a little leary about a lot of the recent reviews being from one time contributors. Often a sign of a property attempting to boost their ratings. So I went into the property with a bit of skepticism. I'm happy to report this facility earns its ratings. Clean, easy location to access, ample parking, really good free breakfast, nice size and renovated rooms and lobby. Super friendly staff (hats off to Jeff)! We received a much better rate through AAA than any other site including Best Western's so give that a try if you're a AAA member.

Was needing to find a pet friendly hotel in Northern Kentucky for a trip home. I could not have been happier with the service I received, whether the initial phone call or my arrival and stay there. Amy handled my call and set up perfectly, and Kelsey handled my check in splendidly. Room super clean, bed very comfortable, and room quiet. Convenient to I-75 and a large area to walk pets, I'm glad I stayed there. Very friendly and extremely helpful, staff, great room, I would most definitely stay here again.

Stopped during his trip to Creation Museum...arrived late and were surprised by fresh cookies and milk..staff was very friendly and went out of there way to help you..one of the best breakfast buffet i have had...room was average but staff made up for this..would stay here again

The staff were quite cheerful, friendly and helpful. The facility was clean and well maintained. The room was tidy and very well lit. And the king bed was amazingly comfortable. This was a pleasant stay that we hated to say goodbye to.

I often stay at BW locations and this is one of the best! The staff are excellent and attentive. The room was clean and they provided water and snacks at check in. The front desk staff were very helpful.

Over all I give my stay a five out of five just wish the cookies tasted a little fresher !! This Motel is excellent. The staff goes above and beyond to make you welcome. There is a hot breakfast every day! The do not skimp. The rooms are clean and the motel well kept. The staff is also very knowledgeable about local attractions. We were here 7 months ago and the staff remembered us this stay. We come to visit kids and grandkids but now feel like we are visiting old friends here at the Best Western.

We had an excellent experience, and the breakfast was great. Had no problem what so ever. The room was great and the BW was centralized and made it convenient to go to The Creation Museum and The Arc.

This hotel met all of our expectations for a quick overnight stop. It was clean, staff were nice. The only negative was the pool is outside and not open in November. I would stay here again on our next trip to the south.

This place is the best. Free breakfast was super. Staff super friendly. Spent 3 nights couldn't be more pleased. Room was very clean and well kept. The price during a holiday weekend couldn't be better. A must stay for all and if I visit that area again it is will we will stay

Wonderful ... just wonderful ... especially for the price! Great hot breakfast with folded eggs, sausage, biscuits and gravy, waffles etc. We got the jacuzzi sweet and being a very plus-sized woman I was thrilled with the size of the jacuzzi!! The biggest I've seen. Fridge and Microwave in the room. Our Club Wyndham travel two told us that it was ranked higher than many higher-Star hotels in the area and I now can see why! Best Western is owned by Wyndham... and they get it right... moderate hotel with a few luxury hotel amenities. The jacuzzi has sliding doors on one side to the bedroom part.

This was a super friendly and exceptionally clean place to stay. I would definitely stay again. Staff was friendly and the room was one of the cleanest I have ever stayed in. The complimentary breakfast was delicious.

We stayed here on the way home from a long trip. They were very accomodating of our truck and trailer and accept pets! Very friendly check in and breakfast staff. Room was very clean. No hot tub anymore as shown in pictures, a bit disappointed.

We were very fortunate to get a room here. We normally plan our stop on the way home from Florida, but not this time. We stay pretty much always at BW's, and Amy at the front desk was the nicest most welcoming host I have ever come across. Thanked me for being Plat. Elite member and offered the Elite perks. My family and I stayed at the Best Western in Florence this past weekend. The pros: the staff was very friendly, the beds were super comfortable, and the breakfast was really good with good choices hot or cold. The cons: the air conditioner/heater didn't work very well, the room very stuffy, and I found hair everywhere! My main issue was cleanliness. If the housekeeping staff could be more attentive to the details with vacuuming and wiping down the tub and bathroom better, I would've gave this hotel a 5 star for the price. But overall, my family and I were pleased with our stay and will consider staying again.

Booked in later, 6:45 and there was a room no problem. Haley on the front desk was very helpful. The room was in a perfect location. Spotless and quiet. Every amenity was provided. Beds were incredibly cosy.

We had a group of 16 staying for 2 nights while visiting the Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. Jessica was very nice and helpful when making the reservations and allowing a change or two along the way. Jeff, the breakfast guy, was super nice and did a great job - it was evident he really enjoys his job and helping others. Rooms were very good for the price. This is a Hotel that works hard to provide a clean room for you and me. They provide a quality breakfast and do a little extra to help every guest start off the day. I prefer Hampton as a general rule, if you do too, you should add this Hotel to your list of places to stay!

Get place to stay. Friendly staff. There was no problem getting a room. We got the late check in that we requested. We also got the last check out that we requested with no problems. We will stay here again.

Ideal location for our trip to Creation Museum and Ark Encounter. Very close to mall where tons of restaurants are located. Not far from airport. Only thing was there was not hot tub. Was disapponted. Also, had a lot of difficulty with key card.

We did not make reservations as we were on a trip and not sure where we would end up. They were welcoming and it was a very nice place. We really enjoyed the hot breakfast! The room was very nice and The staff was friendly.

On vacation to visit the ARK and Creation Museum. Convenient to both locations. reasonable price, friendly, helpful staff. Rooms are quiet, hot water, good towels and good maid service. Breakfast had hot items as well as cereal and pastry. Staff was very helpful with directions and amenities. Outdoor pool and fitness room.

Last minute I needed a room for the night. I got on the phone with a young lady who helped me & it seemed like I could see her smile from300 miles away! Then the night staff was very cordial also. The next morning the food looked & tasted better than most hotels.

Stayed two nights here and found this BW to be way below standards. In fact, we would have been better off if we stayed at the Motel 6 across the street! The hotel looks drab from the front, but parking was plentiful and the outside was clean. Check in was fine and the clerk was very friendly and helpful. Our room smelled musty and was not very clean beds were made, but barely. The furnishings looked dated and worn as well as cheap. The construction was extremely poor with walls not matching up straight. The carpet was cheap and the towels, after we went and got them, were paper thin. The bathroom walls were very poorly constructed and the toilet seat was loose and did not fit. At check in we asked not to be in a room where pets were allowed and were told pets were never allowed anywhere but the first floor. Immediately after getting in our room we left to go eat and coming onto the second floor was a guest with a dog who had the room next to us. So much for that policy. The breakfast area was cramped and not clean plus the food was all cold. Nobody had bothered to check the burners on the serving pans. The whole place appears cheap and like they cut corners on everything. This place is just not good although the bed was very comfortable! I have no idea how BW allows this place to carry their brand and I would highly recommend you find a competitor to spend your money with.

We had a very nice room and enjoyed sugar cookies on arrival. The front desk clerk was most helpful helping us find restaurants and attractions nearby. Our room was clean and served us well. We were pleased with the location and proximity to restaurants and shopping.

I'm a truck driver and found myself in the area not knowing which hotel to stay at when I tripped over a doozy here!! The staff was very attentive my room was very clean, very comfortable and my bed was superb. Breakfast was great something warm for the belly to start the day and coffee was extremely good!! The location is very convenient to all the big roads and most enjoyable restaurants were within walking distance. All in all I enjoyed my visit the staff was great everything was wonderful

One of my top motel stays-staff members were very friendly and provided efficient services. The complimentary breakfast was top notch in taste and variety. One inclusion was delicious fresh fruit which is prepared daily(not canned or frozen)!! They also provided delicious evening snacks.

Booked with a group a month ago. Was given a handicapped room. ( not requested). It was clean , but smelled of mothballs. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Continental Breakfast was very tasty. Recommendations of local restaurants was excellent.

The girl at the front desk was very helpful and friendly. There was fresh baked goods as well in the lobby and I must say a welcome site for a tired traveler. I was very pleased with the cleanliness and decor of our room.

The staff is exceptional - the hotel very nice - the breakfast quite good! The room was spacious and clean. There was a bit of a musty smell from the carpets being shampooed earlier, but spray took care of that. The breakfast was quite good. The rooms clean and comfortable.

My wife & I had a nice spacious K room, w/couch & coffee table. TV had nearly 80 channels, but none were in full HD. Refrigerator did not have a freezer compartment. The bed was comfortable and the bathroom was a nice size. WiFi was slow. Breakfast selections were good.

I chose to stay in this hotel because of it's rating and thay it advertised and pictured a hot tub. Upon arrival I find that the hotub is concreted over. This was an immediate bummer for me as it was a major reason that I chose to stay there because of my back issues. This amenity is described and pictured in the promo. After discovering this I felt much less willing to accept the fact that my area of the hotel was damp and musty with an odor and the beds were quite hot. I wouldn't choose it again.

The staff is helpful and kind. Check in was quick and painless, and checkout was even quicker. Room was a bit small for the price. Tub is small and the room had a slight mildew smell. Bed was good and had feather pillows.Huge field behind it to walk your dog as well as treats at the front desk.

Such an incredible experience. Everyone is friendly. the rooms are clean. They breakfast layout was nice. Glad I chose this hotel to stay in and not somewhere else. Should definitely be considered a 5 Star hotel.

This was one of the best trips I've ever taken! We went to the ark and creation Museum and just everything was incredible! Every one was so nice it was just and overall fantastic experience!!!!! I will be staying again

This is a feature-laden Best Western well suited to business travelers because it has all the amenities a business traveler would need. As leisure travelers, however, we feel we ended up paying extra for the "business" features which we did not need. I would say one of its best assets for any class of traveler is that it's right off I-71/I-75 just south of the Ohio River and has easy access to any part of the Cincy metro area. Given the price area of this motel (around $125 to $135), at this price level in the midwest U.S., we expect a genuinely deluxe property throughout. This place while certainly nice enough, felt "average" as opposed to "deluxe" considering the property in its entirety. At this price level, we have stayed in a number of motels which had a much more deluxe feel throughout than this one did. So, I feel that value, especially for the leisure traveler, is lacking here. In fact, I would say this property overall is pretty much at the level of the Quality Inn up in West Chester, Ohio (also in the Cincy metro area) and yet except during the tennis tournament, the Quality Inn is $40 to $50 less. So, I am only giving 3 stars because I don't think for leisure travelers that this is a good value. The Quality Inn in West Chester would give the casual traveler just about as much for quite a bit less. Service was extremely nice by everyone and I would rate the service as above average. The overall quality to me though for this motel as a whole was average and simply not worth the prices being charged.

Great location for between Creation Museum and the Ark Experience. The best Free Breakfast I have had at a hotel. Lots of items to choose from and well stocked. Very clean room and beds were comfortable. Friendly staff. The dining area was full when we went for breakfast but a staff member showed us a bench outside that folded into a picnic table that was comfortable.

Our experience was perfect. Staff was very friendly and accommodating, room was clean and pleasantly decorated, breakfast attendant was very present and anticipated your needs. Have already booked room for return trip.

They have clean, large rooms, with a fridge and microwave. They serve a typical breakfast, and they had complimentary muffisn when we checked in. At check-in we stood around about 10 minutes due to one clerk training another and having trouble with the person before us. The breakfast is typical of this type of hotel, and the wifi was a little sluggish.

Stayed here because it was close to Creation Museum. Rooms were clean and comfortable.Get to breakfast early for best selection and a seat. Verry quiet. The desk clerk was very nice. I would definitely recommend it.

The hotel was in an area that had much around it if you needed anything. The desk clerk was very friendly. The hotel itself seemed to be clean and pretty quiet. Room was fine. Breakfast OK. Didn't really pick anything bad out about it except the air conditioner was a little noisy when it came on.

All of the staff were very helpful in resolving any issues we encountered. When my son had difficulty using the Wi-Fi, Greg at the front desk did his best to help us get that going. And when we complained that our air conditioning unit was dirty and not cooling very well, the housekeeping supervisor came up that morning and cleaned it. And a hotel engineer showed up to work on the unit right away. The selection and presentation of foods in the breakfast area was probably the middle level of what we've encountered it similar hotels. There was enough to choose from every morning that you could enjoy something different each day. The staff person overseeing that area was very responsive to any questions or concerns and extremely personal with all of the guests eating. While we didn't make it down to the outdoor pool, there seemed to be lots of other guests with children enjoying it. The grounds were well kept. The hotel is located just off the interstate exit. It's a good central place to stay for visiting the Creation Museum or the Ark Encounter.

We had a great stay. The food was great, beds were comfortable, room was clean, and the pool was clean. I would definitely recommend this hotel. They even had snacks out. Always had fresh fruit and water. Also had cookies and popcorn. Absolutely wonderful hotel!

Nice staff at desk and in the halls. Outdoor pool was a treat. Cookies at night. Kids love the breakfast. Great price on the room and centrally located with mall and airport. We stayed here to do the Ark Encounter.

We were welcomed and given a restaurant list for close dining, we were directed to a grocery store for a bottle of wine. Our dog had a great big grass area to take care of his business. The breakfast was well stocked and the attendant was very helpful. All in all ths is the way travel should be! The pool was very refreshing too.

There are many other hotels in the area to choose from, we would not recommend staying here. Would never come back to this location. Our overall experience was mixed but not satisfied staying at this location.

On July 11th, I was unable to stay at the Best Western because they were fully booked due to a NASCAR event near by. I had been driving for 10 hours with my dog and really needed a place to stay. The employee at the front desk, who I found out later is actually the manager, took the time to call around and find me a place to stay. It really meant a lot to me. I asked for suggestions and before you know it she just got on the phone and started calling around the nearby area and found a place within a few miles. She went above and beyond. I would have preferred to stay at the BW and the next time I drive through I will certainly stay there if they have availability. Stellar employee!

Good location ,very convenient to local restaurants and Shoppers Mall. There was a light odor to our room, smelled like cleaning solution, I did adjust to it. The bed was very comfortable, Our TV had no movie chanels , according to the guied there was suppose to be one. The breakfast was bar was not bad. I think the eggs were a little over reduced to the point that they didn't have much flavor. Every thing else is was very good. The sausage gravy was excelent. The attendent was very nice and curious. and oftened asked if there was anyting he could get us. The staffwas very friendly. The thing I disliked the most was the only ice machine was on the ground and floor,, we were on the third. I had to make a couple of trips during our stay, after a long drive, it's something I would of not done, other wise not bad, just inconvenient.There is an Airport near by and you do hear some noise but It didn't disturb message, it was only on certain take offs

Checking into the hotel was a breeze. Staff was very friendly and helpful with all of the people staying for the race. The room was very clean and there was alot of space in the bathroom. The internet service was great. We had no issues with checkout and the breakfast was very good. Would return again if we need to stay near kentucky speedway.

Enjoyed everything about our stay and would recommend this BW, but was a little surprised at the price. $185 for Florence, KY seemed a little much, but to their credit all hotels in the area are at that price. Who knew Florence, KY was the vacation capital of the world. :-)

We loved our stay here. The pool was lovely and there were always plenty of towels outdoors. It was amazingly quiet considering it is do close to the interstate and the airport. There was a good selection at breakfast and the evening snacks we're a nice touch too. The employees were so friendly, kind, and helpful. I would definately stay here again if I were to return to the area. It is conviently located to the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter and the Interstate, and there are nearby gas stations, restaurants and shopping. Loved it!

We stayed here with several friends while visiting The Ark Encounter. The staff went above and beyond with customer service. They called us before we arrived to make sure it was ok to change one of our rooms from a king to 2 doubles due to plumbing issue. Never had that happen before, usually just take what you get! They recommended a great restaurant nearby, printed off directions, etc. Breakfast had many special touches. Room was clean and roomy.

I thought this hotel was ok my husband liked it better than I did. The rooms have been refurbished with tile bathroom floor and walls. The bed was comfy soft. It was quiet. The pool was decent size and outdoors. The gal who checked us in was very nice and efficient. My biggest complaint was that the breakfast area is way too small. I had to stand at the water and fruit table to eat. The breakfast did have eggs and sausage and waffles and potatoes. There wasn't a lot of sweet food. Overall a good stay.

First all, this hotel was clean and a decent stay. But, has some hiccups. The place is small. The breakfast area is WAY too small. Not enough room for the amount of people they serve. The entire breakfast area, food service and seating, was about the size of other hotel's food service area alone. Gave me claustrophobia and I couldn't enjoy my breakfast. Our room, although seemed clean, smelled a little musty. It looks like an older hotel that they are trying to improve. The pool was not open for the summer season, yet, as of June 1 because of delays in improvements. My kids were very disappointed as this was the only time during our vacation trip that we had extra time to enjoy a pool.

After complaining in my last review about the poor breakfast and coffee at this perfect location hotel, we were delighted to experience the changes this spring in April. The breakfast was fresh and more varied and the new coffee maker made excellent coffee. There were several hot and cold choices and everything was ready on time. Best Western should be commended for making these changes.

Probably my best overall Hotel experience ever. The staff goes way above and beyond to make sure that loyalty members are recognized and that you have everything you need. We had a gift bag waiting in our room and they were all so quick to get us other things we needed like shampoo conditioner and razors. The rooms were clean and had everything you could possibly need including refrigerator, microwave, hair dryer, coffee maker, ironing board. The breakfast selection was one of the most amazing I have seen at any hotel and included waffles, bread, muffins at least three different kinds of fresh fruit, scrambled eggs, scrambled eggs with sausage, biscuits, yogurt, at least six different kinds of cereal and many other items. The surrounding area has tons of shopping and restaurants.

We were there for 4 nights, Wed-Sun. The room was clean and comfortable. The staff was extremely hospitable. They never once made us feel like we were interfering in any way. Greeted us to and from our room daily. Had snacks of an evening daily. Warm cookies and popcorn. Overall, the stay was excellent. The breakfast was exceptional! Hot eggs, waffles, fresh fruit, etc. Zach and Jeff were especially nice and helped us tremendously. We were there for 4 nights. While we left for church, they helped keep our leftover restaurant food cold so we could pick it up on our way out of town. They found my pillow (a sentimental one) and are going to send it to me. My husband and I couldn't have had a more accommodating or friendly staff. We really appreciated their hospitality.

The hotel staff was very polite when checking in. The room was very clean. This hotel was serving guest a snack around 6pm each night which was a plus. The staff was very helpful when asked about things in the area and gave good recommendations. I enjoyed our stay. No loud noises and very quiet.

Spent 2 nights at the Best Western in Florence because it was near the Creations Museum and the Ark Encounter and our stay could not have been better. Our room although near the elevator was quiet. The bed/room was clean and comfortable. Breakfast met our expectations with plenty of selections. Snacks were also provided in the evening. Fresh baked cookies one night. Zach and Jeff were most helpful. Zach was kind enough to lend his phone charger to one of our friends who had left their's at home. Thanks to all.

We stay at the Best Western in Florence as it was close to both the Ark Encounter in Williamstown and the Aquarium in Newport. All of the Best Western staff were very helpful, the hotel was quiet, the room was fine (big enough for four gf's with outlet purchases, the a/c worked, the beds were fine) and the breakfast had a good variety (eggs, bacon, sausage, cereal, yogurt, pastries, waffles, fresh fruit). The hotel is on a quiet street, yet close to the main highway. Florence has lots of restaurants (we enjoyed City BBQ), Costco and we found the Danbarry Dollar Saver movie theatre during a wrong turn; new movies and admission is $3.00...sweet.

Have stayed many times before and enjoyed it. It is close to places we like to visit. But no more. Black mold in bathroom.cramped room and unfriendly staff. Cold breakfast. This hotel has fallen down and is no longer a pleasant place to stay.

The staff members help a lot with any concern. The hotel is clean and they have a food station open all day with tea, fruit and cookies for you to take without any extra cost. They are friendly, and you can count with their support for any information, they even called an uber from their personal account for us to help us cause the taxi was very expensive. So, my stay was as random as could be. Rain was approaching, I was on my motorcycle. I was at the end of my travel day. So I pulled up Priceline and did an Express Deal. The location and the price were right. My experiences doing this are hit and miss. More 'hit' when I pay attention to the 'guest satisfaction' numbers than the number of stars (good hint). This was a hit, from the moment I walked in. All because of Amy. I'm not sure what title you give the only person on staff in the evening. Shift manager, hostess, concierge, reservation clerk? They do it all, and not very many wear all those hats very well. Amy does. (In conversation, found out that she has another job as a server. I bet she's a good one. Hey, hotel owners/HR people! Here's a job history requirement for this job - experience as a server) As far as everything else. Great recently remodeled room. Great free full breakfast.

If you are interested in visiting The Ark and the Creation museum, this is the very best place to stay. It is about as close to half way between the two as you can get and it is a very nice motel for the money. There are bigger and costlier but no better hospitality. Most evenings when you come in they provide a snack and the breakfast is as good as you can get. Jeffery will even give you table side service and anything else you need. What a staff!!

AWESOME Staff that went above & beyond to assist in our needs. This staff wrote the book on”How to Achieve Great Customer Service.” ???? They even served us a hot batch of chocolate chip cookies & milk for a afternoon snack. O Later we ask to purchase a postcard postage stamp, the office was out but the Front Desk was able to find one in her car. Thank you Best Western for making our trip wonderful??????

From the moment we booked our room with DAT to the moment we left, everyone at this hotel went above and beyond their duties to make sure our anniversary was amazing! My girlfriend & I have a monthly girls night out & this is the best place to spend the night. We have been coming several months There are three special people who make our stay extra special, Jessica as she makes ease with check in & out, Jeff. akes sure the room is right for us & Jean gives us extra towels & lotions to pamper ourselves, The breakfast is very good, Jeff & Jessica make sure very thing is full & tr@sh empty, I wouldnt want to stay anywhere else,, The rooms are very spacious, I really cant find anything wrong with this place except the planes flying over,

The Best Western Inn Florence is clean and friendly staff with free breakfast in the morning. A great stop after a long day driving. Its a quick exit from I75. A few minutes drive to a large Mall with restaurants, bars and shopping. There is a Wal-mart and Olive Garden among the many retail services.

Great Hotel, friendly staff, clean rooms. I normally dont go for the "free" breakfast but this hotel has an excellent (and varied) breakfast every morning provided by staff member Jeff. Overall a good value. Hotel is often booked so make arrangements early.

I don't know how this hotel has been rated how it is. We booked here based on ratings and were extremely upset we decided on this location. Upon check in we noticed the bathroom had a lot of hair on the floor by the tub and behind the door. We notified the front desk girl as we were heading back out for our conference and she said that it would be taken care of. Well, we get back that evening and it is still there untouched. We leave the next morning to continue at our conference and when we return housekeeping again left all the hair! We let a different front desk girl know and she was extremely rude to us. She actually accused us of lying and making it up and would not come to the room to see the condition of the bathroom for herself. We even showed her the picture we took, and she still thought we were making it up! Unbelievable. Breakfast was just ok, but get there early since if there is a big group they will not restock things such as pastries. We will never stay here again and since we don't stay at Best Western hotels often, I think we may just stay away from the entire chain if this is the standard corporate holds them to. There are plenty of other options out there that appreciate their guests and don't accuse them of making up stories.

On a recent college tour through KY for my daughter, we stayed here at the BW Florence, which was super convenient to the highway with great restaurants nearby and close to the colleges and nearby attractions we were visiting. The fresh cookies and nachos upon arrival were also a wonderful surprise for us all.

The breakfast has hot and cold options. Vegetarian - fruit, cereal, and oatmeal, nothing warm. Beds very comfortable. If you want a darker room ask not to be housed on the front - as the lights outside are very bright.

Very clean and spacious room, obviously renovated and up-dated . This hotel is on a quiet, dead end street but just a minute or so off the Interstate . We were impressed by the staff serving a free evening “snack” of home made fruit cobbler and ice cream in the lobby. The bed was very comfortable with a great shower, and the breakfast buffet was complete with fresh fruit. Would definitely stay here again.

We booked this BW due to the location as were we going to the Ark Encounter. We were greeted kindly by the Front Desk staff. The room was clean and comfortable. We heard no noise from airplanes as other reviewers have stated. The breakfast was adequate. We would stay here again.

We enjoyed staying here. It was 25 minutes from the Ark and 15 from the Creation Museum. And 15 from Cincinnati Ohio. Great location to get to anything including shoppping. Would stay again if we ever go back.

We found this Best Western had great staff, great rooms and an adequate breakfast. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. It is on a flight path so overhead planes can be a bit noisy. The scrambled eggs were really good but no bacon.

I stayed here with my family for a wedding. The staff was excellent and eceryone left very impressed with their stay. Even though the bride and groom decided to leave a night early they made up their room amd really pulled out the stops. The staff was very accomodating and aware of the group and their needs. Very nice and personabke group. Would recommend!

Our room was very clean, but the bagel for breakfast was very dry. We went there for new years eve and new years day it was real close to Cincinnati we had a blast would definitely go back to this hotel.

I had made the reservation by calling the hotel directly, and stated we were traveling with our cat. There was no mention of a pet fee, so I was a little put out when I was told there was a $20 nonrefundable pet fee. However, the good points are these: an impeccably clean room, in which everything works. There's not a hint of mold or mildew anywhere. The bed was extremely comfortable. There were sufficient electrical outlets for our electronics. The room had a refrigerator, coffee maker and microwave. While the hotel does not have a restaurant per se, there are many nice restaurants nearby and the hotel serves a passable--free--breakfast in the morning. You could get scrambled (most likely powdered) eggs, biscuits (a bit cold and hard), waffles, cereal, coffee, tea, orange juice and pastries. This hotel is very conveniently located off I-75 and is close to the airport. A few jets passed overhead, but after about 9 p.m. we didn't hear anything. The rooms were very quiet--you could not hear anything from the adjoining rooms. The bathroom had a great shower--plenty of hot water with great water pressure. The night manager told us about a car wash only about a mile away, which was open 7 days a week--something you can appreciate after having to drive on salted Ohio roads! The wi-fi was good, probably above average for most hotels. This review would have been a 5-star one if the pet fee had been stated upfront--no one likes surprises after eight hours on the road! We plan to stay here again.

The girl at the desk was very friendly and pleasant to deal with. I checked in around 3 o'clock in the afternoon. I'm sorry but I don't remember her name. I will definitely stay at this hotel every time I come through Florence Kentucky.

Location 10 minutes from Cincy airport and room was under $100. Quick check in and check out. Would definitely stay here again. Clean and updated room and facility from what I saw. Easy to get to off interstate.

We have stayed at this hotel numerous times on our trips between North Carolina and Illinois. It is very convenient and a great place for us to stay with our dogs. Being able to have our dogs is a determining factor in our selection of hotels as we travel. Sometimes one has to settle for a lessor quality to have the dogs. Not so here. This is a very good quality place that also welcomes our pets.

The staff are excellent and service is excellent. The breakfast was very good with an excellent variety and choice of items. Quick and efficient service with care in preparation eggs and sausage nice and hot and drink ice cold very well done.

This hotel is at the perfect location for our travel. We stay here twice a year for the past 4-5 years and know we will have a clean, quiet comfortable room. Up until this year there were many takeouts to choose from. Now there is one menu for ordering and we found our dinner very good and quick. Our big disappointment was the morning breakfast. We get on the road early so we need good coffee and toast at least. The bread items were stale and the coffee was undrinkable. We had to stop again for coffee.

I needed a room one night while traveling alone. Wanted somewhere safe and nice but not too expensive. I was delighted with this hotel. The rooms were well decorated and had everything I needed. The bed and shower were excellent, comparable to more expensive hotels. The room and common spaces was very clean. While breakfast was not very special, it was hot and free. Definitely would recommend.

Great trip to Kentucky. The location of the hotel in Florence was perfect to cover both the Creation museum and the Ark. Found the hotel to be a good accommodation for the venues to be seen. I would recommend it highly.

The employees here were very friendly. The breakfast was average. The bed was very comfortable. The property is close to many restaurants and shopping. This hotel is about twenty five minutes from the Ark Encounter.

The hotel is a typical chain hotel that looked good both inside and out. The hotel worker were all pleasant and friendly and the accommodations were very good. I did notice that this hotel is not as large as many other buildings but sometimes you don't have to be a giant in order to provide your guest with a great experience. The hotel is very close to many major restaurants, gas stations and a nearby mall. It is also just seconds from I-75 but not so close that you hear the traffic. We picked it because it is within 20 mins from the Ark Encounter.

Second stay in 11 months and both stays were excellent. Check-in fast and friendly, room clean and modern, and breakfast was excellent with many choices. They always give military discount (other chains offer discount but often have no rooms available for that rate on the weekend) which is much appreciated. Will be staying again in a month or so.

Good hotel at a reasonable rate, ask for a bible if you can't find one in your room they have them at the front desk. Located very nicely for Cincinnati Reds and Kings Island Amusement park. Close to shopping at Florence Mall and has many food options within a mile radius.

Room was clean. The location was easily accessible to restaurants and shopping. Did not have a directory in the rooms to show what was in the area. Had to drive around. Was having stripping and painting done on the parking lot which caused some parking issues.

Literally right off interstate, yet very quiet hotel (even near elevator). Clean. Coffee/hot drinks/water available all day and snacks in evening in lobby. Near hundreds of restaurants! Mall, Target, groceries, and all kinds of shopping within a mile drive. Would recommend except bring your own breakfast to supplement the “free buffet”.....not much selection, dried out pastries, watered-down juices. Super, helpful staff. I thought the stay my wife and I had was very good. From the moment we checked in, the staff was always friendly. Breakfast was good with a nice selection of fresh fruit. Room was clean and served the purpose it was intended to do. Overall, a very good stay and, if in the area, will stay there again.

My family & I stayed here for 3 nights for a long weekend as it is centrally located between the Creation Museum and the Ark Encounter, which we were visiting. Upon our late arrival (1:00 am) our check in was quick and easy and the girl at the front desk was efficient and friendly. We were a little nervous about noise when we found we were given a room right next to the elevator, but our fears were unfounded as we didn't hear the elevator at all. Our room was spacious enough that our family of 4 (including 2 teens) didn't feel crowded at all as we often do on hotel rooms. Everything was clean and well cared for and the beds were very comfortable. Breakfast was mostly the typical hot & cold "hotel fare," however we really appreciated the fact that the hot items changed each day, which is unusual for hotel breakfasts. All of us really liked the sausage & pepper mix offered the one day. Two of the nights we were there were sold out, making for a very busy breakfast area, but the food was kept well stocked. There are several restaurants nearby as well as a mall & a Walmart yet the hotel is far enough off the highway that road noise isn't a problem. If you are staying on the top floor, you may want to keep the a/c or heater fan on to drown out the noise of the planes that regularly fly overhead as this hotel seems to be directly under the flight path of the nearby airport. Will definitely return here again the next time we are in the area.

Older hotel. Very small breakfast area. Near everything you will need. Pool, hot tub closed. OK hotel for quick stay. Fire alarm went off at 2AM. Had to leave room in the rain. Caused by guests smoking vapors. Would not issue partial refund.

The hotel really isn't worth the money and doesn't deserve the stars it has. Breakfast was gross none of my kids would eat it. U can have dogs but if they bark u can be kicked out without refund. No laundry services. And our last night there the fire alarm went off at 3am waking everyone there, hotel was completely booked, because someone had to smoke apparently. Should've gotten some type of refund for that esp since we stayed there for 3-4 nights. But desk clerk said not her problem. Poor service and will not stay at a best western again.

Because I am celiac I needed to be careful at breakfast so I asked about ingredients in the sausage and the staff member on duty checked for me. She also gave me a box of gluten free CHEX cereal which I enjoyed. Breakfast was not elaborate but it did the trick. We would definitely stay here again.

The rooms and hallways smell like mold. We rented three rooms on two different floors and each one of them smelled the same. The breakfast was cold and poorly refilled. The happy hour was a mockery. Please, avoid this hotel. We have stayed here in the past, but never again.

From our home in Ontario this is the perfect stop for our first night on our journey south. There is every food option available within a very easy distance from the hotel. We love Best Western rewards and the hotel quality is very consistant. This one is great!

Located just off of 1-75. Can be tricky to find. Our GPS took us a street further than necessary. Very comfortable beds and clean room. If you are a rewards member, you may have to ask for your gift or points, they didn't offer to me.

Older property that has been well maintained near interstate hwy. Room was clean & comfortable. Most of the people were leisure travelers going to or from Arc Encounter & Creation Museum. Personable receptionist was also responsible for evening snacks of cookies & ice cream. Breakfast buffet was more than adequate.

Booked this hotel because it was in between the Ark Encounter and the Creation Museum that are located about an hour from each other. It ended up being a perfect location to visit those sites. We also really enjoyed going to the local restaurants and an antique mall nearby. It is also close to Cincinnati and if we had stayed longer we would have taken advantage of things to do there as well. The hotel staff was friendly, especially a Middle Aged man that was running the continental breakfast the morning we left (didn't get his name). He asked us many times if he could help and is the breakfast was good. The breakfast was good every morning with many selections. The only thing I didn't like was our room had a large tub and shower that was the only separation between the bedroom and the bathroom, I would definitely like a wall there versus just a shower curtain. If I had known it was like that I would've picked a different room. We would definitely come back to this hotel again and enjoyed our trip!

We had a great time in Florence, Kentucky. This Best Western Hotel was a nice place to stay for what we wanted. For the different excursions we took, this hotel make it very reasonable to get where we needed to go. The breakfast was good too!

If you have a pet this is your place but it's not kept as clean as most best westerns. The room was closet size and was very dusty and the sheets and pillows had permanent stains and smelled. The handicapped entrance is also not near the front entrance but around the side and up hill in the parking area.

The Best Western Inn Florence, KY is a great place to stay when in the northern Kentucky/ southern Ohio area. We have stayed at this location a number of times, the last stay was 8 days straight. The staff were great and very caring and professional. We will definitely stay here again each time we are in the area.

The hotel itself was nice. Clean for the most part. The door to our bathroom seemed to stick and would not close without pushing it really hard. The bed was a very FIRM mattress. A little too firm for my liking. I will definitely reserve a double queen next time, single queen rooms are a bit small. All in all the stay wasn't bad. Just minor things that could be improved upon..

We booked three rooms for two nights. Our family went to Ark and then to Creation Museum over Labor Day w/e. The first room they gave us smelled like dog urine. So we asked for another room, which they obliged. Second room very nice and clean. BW had good variety of food at breakfast. Helpful and friendly staff. We had noisy people staying across from us in adjoining rooms that kept visiting each other at 10:00+ that kept slamming doors with each visit. We contact the front desk to give us some relief. Staff handled situation as we got a good nights sleep. Would go back.

The check-in was quick and easy, although we had to wait while someone was assigned a new room for some reason. The hotel is older but appeared to be clean. As soon as we opened the door to our room we were hit in the face with the smell coming from the air conditioner. It reminded me of a urine, mold, Fabreeze combination. We were tired and it was late, so we decided not to ask for a different room. Because of the smell, I had began to question the cleanliness of the hotel. The beds had rubberized sheets, which were indeed hot to sleep on. (Had read this in a previous comment.) However, sleeping on top of the bedding helped. The bathroom appeared to be newly remodeled and was very clean. The next morning, with the light of day, we could see that the room was very clean. The shower pressure (mentioned in a previous comment) was OK. It didn't beat the water into me, but it wasn't a trickle either. We skipped breakfast because we slept in. We were apprehensive the night before about eating breakfast because of the room smell/cleanliness issue, but once we saw that the room was very clean, we would have given it a try had we gotten up early enough. Checkout was fast and easy. The staff seemed very friendly. We didn't use the pool or other amenities. The price was reasonable. I would have given this hotel a much higher rating if it weren't for the smell from the air conditioner. We were in room 319 and I see from other reviews that rooms on the third floor had similar issues with the air conditioner smell.

Hotel is near freeway and easy to get to. Staff was very helpful and friendly. Bed was comfortable and room was clean. Breakfast was good with some hot selections (waffles, eggs, sausage). I would stay again if the need arose.

Didn't appear to be in a good area, motel6 across the street seemed a little shady, our room was clean, other than a little mold in the shower. Room was noisy due to our room on first floor near the lobby where breakfast was served.

Staff went out of their way to make our stay comfortable. Very friendly. Took the time to chat with us. Recommended sights to go see. Asked us how we enjoyed the sights they suggested. Treated us like family. Tea, coffee, fruit and snacks offered in the evening in the lobby. Great touch to make you feel at home. Would recommend this hotel to any one travelling in the Kentucky area.

The overall feel of the entire hotel was an unclean one. Front desk check in person had little to no personality. I couldn't even get her to smile. Got to my room that was hard to find because it was in a little cubbie hole. Room was small and extremely musty smelling. Had to go buy some Frebreze and used almost the entire bottle spraying the room down. I left and returned several hours later but the musty smell had returned. Luckily I had bought a can of Glade on my way back but it didn't help much either. I tried even spraying inside the air conditioner but to no avail. No express checkout was offered. In fact I had to wait about 5 mins or so for someone to come to the front desk so I could check out. I'll be returning to Florence same time next year for the North South 100 at Florence Speedway but I won't be returning to this BW

I would definitely stay here again. The staff is extremely nice and helpful. We had an AC problem and it was fixed that day as we were out and about. Came back to a nice cool room. Breakfast was decent, good variety. Room was comfortable, bathroom floor and tile could have used a better cleaning.

The staff and room were fine. Breakfast area was small, no where to sit, crowded. Food was ok. Liked the cookies and ice water in the lobby in the afternoons. Pool was fine. Hotel was clean and comfortable.

We stayed one night on our way east. The room is modern and in great shape. Everything is clean and the sheets are soft. They have a good breakfast and also put out an early evening snack. Today was nachos and salsa. This is a quite area, but easy access to interstate. I recommend this hotel and we enjoyed our stay.

We enjoyed our stay there. Few problems were reported and one was met to my expectation. We went out doing our things all day both days and came back to the hotel exhausted. Otherwise we enjoyed our stay.

It's not that the hotel is bad but it was worth about $100/night but instead it was almost $300/night. I would have stayed at the Hilton instead (for the same price) but it was booked. The room was clean but they put a waterproof mattress pad on the bed and I assume that's what made the noise and made us sweat during the night. We turned down the AC to 60 degrees to offset this. Next time, I'll make sure to book earlier and get into a Hilton!

Really enjoyed our stay. Convenient to the Creation Museum (about 15min) and the Ark Encounter (25min) Close to restaurants, shopping, interstate. Hotel was clean, well staffed, breakfast was nicely done and was continuously replenished. Overall, great place to stay and I would recommend it if staying in the area.

Love the location, amenities and service, but the room has had a musty sour odor both times that we've stayed there. Rooms 315 and 311 I think. Did not report and just put up with it so we could stay near other family. Too bad, because price is reasonable, pool and facilities are clean, decent breakfast was provided. Love the fresh fruit provided in the lobby. Located about 20-30 minutes from the Ark, Creation Museum, Riverbend, Newark on the Levee.

This hotel is located in a quiet area and right off the interstate. The room had been updated. It was a very quiet sleeping experience. The hotel was sold out the night we stayed. The check in process was easy as well as the check out process. Breakfast was ample and the staff was very friendly.

Very pleasant staff. Rooms very clean and maintained. A very quiet atmosphere. Great variety offered at continental breakfast. The only slight hitch in our trip was trying to get onto the lane leading up to the hotel parking area. Lots of traffic at times and we had to sit and wait to get turned in. Would be nice if the entrance was better located.
